Mike Hester: NZR head of participation for community rugby on Sport NZ scrapping the guidelines for trans athletes - Sportstalk with D'Arcy Waldegrave

The Government has told Sport NZ to get rid of the guidelines it adopted under the last Government around how sporting codes should deal with the issue of how to include transgender athletes at the community level.

It's now up to each individual sport to decide what to do.

Mike Hester is New Zealand Rugby's head of participation for community rugby and he spoke to D'Arcy Waldegrave about the approach rugby is taking.
