Speaker 1 (00:01):
Jubles dirty little secret. Hello, Hi, you have a dirty
little secret.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I do, yes. So I used to work at a
major chicken restaurant chain about fifteen years ago, and we
figured out a way to run credit card receipts that
did not go into the actual till and that we

(00:31):
were able to. So that means that we would essentially
run in order and then we would run the credit
card and put the credit card receipt into the drawer,
and then the drawer would technically be overdrawn because of
that credit card receipt and you could take cash out
and then make it even.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, right, I used to do so, so we we
we wor yes, they counted the number of transactions through
the drive through versus the number of cars.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
And saw that they didn't match up and then found
that on the security camera. Yeah. Instead of getting fired though,
we all basically like we went to the big corporate headquarters,
told them how we were doing it, and then helped
them catch other people doing the same thing. So that's like,

(01:26):
we're part of the reason why and I believe this
one hundred percent why most fast food places have fingerprints
on their registers.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Now, Oh, how much money did you steal.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I'm not gonna that's that's undislowed.
