Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily, help us respectful to say I love you.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Valentine, you, how are you? Good morning?
Speaker 4 (00:19):
You didn't see me yesterday, but I saw you, Valentine
after the show yesterday, I was in my car, naked
from the waist down, and all of a sudden, I.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
Hear and I just thought, oh god, no, And.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
There's val coming down the stairs into the parking garage
and I'm sitting there in my back seat and I
look at him and he just kind of just kept going,
and I thought, Okay, okay, this is good. He's not
going to see me. Then he starts singing, and I'm like,
get in your car.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
He was taking pictures by his car.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
He was taking pictures of what I think he saw.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
No, I saw later what he was doing, but I
was like, what is this man doing?
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Get in your car so I could continue changing. But
I just sat there. It was like a very vulnerable
moment because my pants were off and I'm looking at Valentine.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Why when you were in the car with your pants
off in a public parking garage. Yeah, this is on you, dude.
It's literally like the busiest parking garage level in the building.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
It was changing, but it was just so funny.
Speaker 6 (01:25):
He won.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Everybody comes in and at it this after the show. Yeah,
and I'm right on the ramp everyone eleven thirty in
the morning, people coming down for lunch, go and whatever,
And you're changing pants back of your car, and I'm
the weirdest.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
I just remember like taking my jeans off, like off
my ankles, and I just thought to myself, gosh, I'm
so glad that Valini didn't walk down together today. And
then within seconds I hear you whistling.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
I'm like, no, even if we'd walk down together, I'm
pretty sure you would have paused the taking of the
pants off. She had no time, she had to take
those pants off. She was in a oh cyclospora. No, no, no,
So were you in the back your raft four?
Speaker 4 (02:04):
I was in the back right.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Do you have tinted windows?
Speaker 1 (02:07):
No?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
And you said I made eye contact with you.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
You like looked that direction, and I think like your
face was just looking forward. But I thought, oh geez,
I'd like I stood really really still.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
You're standing with your pants.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Off the car witting with my pants off, and I
was just like, but like, my butt was on the seat,
and I just thought, this is so weird. I can
see val when I'm not wearing any pants.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
It was the weirdest thing.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
So but I wouldn't have seen if I looked over anyway,
because you would have been beneath the window line, thank goodness.
So that's what I'm asking I have seen it. So
the only way who was seen if I walked over
said hey, Jill knocked in the window and made you
rolled down the window, or if I looked in at
that point, I would have seen stuff.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Right, But it was just a weird, weird feeling.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
I was taking pictures with a large palllette of toilet
paper that iHeart had down there, and I was like
making some cyclist sporer joke or something. But I did
multiple pictures on.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
His Instagram later and I was like, Oh, that's what
he was doing.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Was getting pictures of you sneakily.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
No, I knew you were posing near something. I just
didn't know what those boxes were.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Posing near your butt and you're just watching him there,
so that photo will we see you naked in the background.
Speaker 7 (03:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
I don't know that would be something.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Gosh, just a look of fear on my face.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Let me take a little look see here, man, like
a little looks. I'm going back to my recently deleted
because I didn't keep those photos. I didn't need to. Okay,
here we go toilet paper. Where were you parked just.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Directly in front of your car, like but just up
on the ramp.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
On the other side of the bar. Were you backed in?
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Yes, it's not her car.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
I see like your face and your top, but I
can't see your bottom. Thank god, I can't see your bottom.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Take a look at it. Wow, that's very funny. But yeah,
so like is that your car? Like right there?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Me?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Oh god, wow? All right, let me hit save on these.
That's creepy pants off in the car. Yeah, I've had
the change the car before. It's so hard, you know,
you just worry about somebody coming past the window and
stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
And also's just not enough room to pull up some
biker shorts because already you're just kind of like squeezing
into them and moving around, and so it was tough to.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Like, why were you putting on biker shorts.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
That was going to work out.
Speaker 8 (04:43):
Wow, that seems like the breaking news.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Hold on, you've never worked out, like in twenty years.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
It seems like you went to work out where at Disneyland.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
You were going to Disneyland and you wanted shorts. You
weren't working out, No, because brit was there, your sister.
I saw that. It's like, I've got the two kids.
All man, I'm so proud. But thank god Auntie Jill's
coming to meet us.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
Yeah, but that's my exercise. I wear outfit.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
I wear my walking.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Shoes because I was going to work out. Though, it
seems to be a phrase leading you in a certain direction.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
I'm walking.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
No, I know you're walking.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
I get it, but like, that's what I do for
my exercise.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
But if you told people, hey, I'm going to work out,
nobody goes, oh, you're going to Disneyland. It's not It
may be, but it's not the next phrase that people
would say.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
A gym, a yoga class.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
So you had no underwear. It was just a biker shorts.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
No, I always changed my underwear when I changed my pants.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
You guys don't.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
No, I didn't know. So you were totally naked completely. No,
I used to wear biker shorts without underwear because they
were kind of built for that.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Oh these aren't were they pad in the back?
Speaker 5 (05:51):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
Riding a bike in my biker shorts.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Another thing that just doesn't fit. I'm not riding a
bike in my biker shorts.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
You know that Disney trolley though, you don't need to
patty for that.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
All right, Laura is going to do the traffic starting
next hour. We'll have a professional dude right now. John's
out today, he's getting engaged. Probably, let's get that morning
traffic's V.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Three. My name is Colin.
Speaker 9 (06:21):
You know, are seeing my daddy Valentine in.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
The morning on one off four, pet La says previously
on Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
In Camuci's court.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Today is Craig a jerk for catching a home run
ball and not giving it to the kid who wanted
it in their own front of him? Marina, good morning
at Anaheim, got right ahead.
Speaker 10 (06:41):
So Tom Brady gives you a football and everybody's telling
you to give it to the child.
Speaker 9 (06:48):
Yeah, would you?
Speaker 3 (06:49):
So?
Speaker 2 (06:50):
First of all, football's are different. I'll tell you.
Speaker 11 (06:52):
What different, because you know, get to keep those in
the stands, they come and get them.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Same thing with soccer balls. Pay lay or somebody kick
one into the stands. You know, you don't get to
keep it. Holistic kicks one in the stands, they come
and take it back. Baseball's they've got four hundred thousand
of those things going out a year. You have to
get to keep it. So whatever, you know, Yeah, I
mean he's football have more value. A soccer ball have
more value if you got to keep it because no one,
(07:23):
no one gets to keep those. They come into the
stands and they take them from you. Still now like
the value is objective there. I think you have a
very great pere. Still no legs or you got sea legs,
your shaky ground, thank you very much. And first off,
listening to your Conchmnaheim. So the odds of an angel
hating a home run are pretty fair, right, right to
(07:49):
be fair.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Today's show show starts now.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app four three FM
A four three My family, It's Valence out in the morning.
Hey Ellie, good morning, good morning Ellie.
Speaker 12 (08:05):
How you doing pretty good?
Speaker 13 (08:07):
How are you guys doing you?
Speaker 2 (08:08):
And all right, dun all right, a rat all right a,
right a rat. I like funny voices. Do you like
funny voices?
Speaker 3 (08:14):
I do?
Speaker 13 (08:15):
Except I'm not a fan of your Michael.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
I'm sorry, Well, yikes, I am Why why why aren't
you a fan of my Michael?
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Michael Jackson?
Speaker 6 (08:24):
Here, I'm here with bubbles and music is great, music
is life, And Ellie, why aren't you a fan of
my Michael Jackson impression?
Speaker 2 (08:31):
It's really really good? You know.
Speaker 13 (08:33):
I think that it's so good it creeps me out
that that's I think that's what it is.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Yeah, well, thank you, thank you very much. I just
I just want to change the world, and I want
to do that one little Elliott a time.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Michael, you nailed that. Brother nailed that. Man. Seriously, do
you do any impressions or any funny voices yourself?
Speaker 13 (08:56):
Ellie, I can do an oh off laugh. I'm at work,
so let's not.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Oh my god, come on, you can't tease somebody like that.
Speaker 13 (09:13):
Let's get on to the reason why we're on this.
Speaker 8 (09:15):
Call, something like my mom or something.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Say let's get back some reason. We're on the right along.
We're not talking about all off. I wanted to talk
about something else on the radio. What did you want
to talk about Ellie.
Speaker 13 (09:30):
How come you guys don't do hot seat questions anymore?
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Hot seat? You're in the hot seat? No, you're in
the hot seat.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Oh, I can answer that for you quickly. I had
a panic attack last time.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
I remember this hot seat question.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Somebody asked, why did Jill get a divorce?
Speaker 2 (09:47):
And what did you say?
Speaker 5 (09:49):
I don't even want to.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Repeat it, but I've never talked about it on the air,
and you know, we were all in the hot seat.
So I gave you know, a short answer.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
See what they should have done in that spot. And
that's tough. I get it. And that's sometimes I can
bring back feelings too, and so just take somebody right back.
The megdala starts firing off and you have these vivid memories.
What you do if we ever bring that back, have
the other person answer that, like, val, why did Jill
get a divorce? Put me in the hot seat?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Switch seats?
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Yeah that's not bad. Yeah, you get a seat switch
and the other person gets to answer it.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
If we do that, we have to make a rule.
There's no divorce questions. We've already answered it. It's done.
Like I can't okay, I had to.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Leave the room.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
Yeah, take deep breaths outside.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
But say like you could switch off, leave the room,
And I answered you wouldn't you trust me to answer
your question like that?
Speaker 4 (10:40):
I would trust you.
Speaker 14 (10:41):
But you.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Are not having a great performance. You're being very anti val.
But when it comes to that, it's just private private.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Yeah, and I don't want to talk about it.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, we've done a lot talking about it. Now too much,
am I saying? Ellie? I tell you what We're in
the hot seed right now. You get two questions, one
for Jill, one for me. John's gone already, John's not
here today. Good hot seat questions, fire away, whatever you want,
we'll answer.
Speaker 13 (11:09):
Okay, Val, I've been thinking about this. Do you make
six figures?
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Seven?
Speaker 2 (11:21):
What?
Speaker 9 (11:23):
What?
Speaker 5 (11:24):
I don't know how much, Valentine make seven?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
If you include to the right of the decimal point.
The answer is yes, I do make six figures?
Speaker 13 (11:33):
Yes, okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Got a hot seat question for Jill. Ask you the
same one? Ask you the same one?
Speaker 13 (11:48):
Is my friend?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
This call was like rigged from the get I'll tell
you why she got divorced.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
I mean, sure, Ellie, can I try to tell you what?
Speaker 15 (12:00):
I'm a long, long, long long, long time listener. So
I know, I know, and that whoever asked that question,
shame on you for asking that so publicly.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Well no, I mean, listen, people are curious. I get
I don't remember this incident at all, But I get
why somebody would ask that question. I get why people
wouldn't ask that question. I see both sides of the fact.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Yes, it was eight years ago, you know, but I've
done the hot seat in eight years.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
I'm just eight years ago.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I just but if they don't know Joe and the
nut in the room, they don't realize how personal something
may be. And if you've never been divorced, you don't
understand sometimes how personal something can be. And you know,
we share our lives on the air, so it's natural
to think that, oh, it's kind of curious about this
what happened. And for some people that's okay, for others
it's not. There are certain things that I'm more comfortable
(12:51):
talking about and certain things I'm not more comfortable talking about.
But for a general rule of thumb, we're very much
open on the show. And she makes more than six figures.
I'll tell you that right now.
Speaker 14 (12:58):
Oh yeah, I wish I wish it outlets alone.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
I think was I don't think more than you know
what six figures is? Yeah, of course you do.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
No, I don't, okayke more than six figures.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
You just write something down on a piece of paper. Really, God, No,
do you know that's what that is?
Speaker 7 (13:20):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (13:20):
I thought it could go up?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
No?
Speaker 4 (13:24):
No, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (13:27):
Yeah, sorry, I thought like I don't make a million.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
No. No, Joe apparently thought six figures was nine hundred nine,
nine hundred nine dollars. No, that's not what the common phrase.
Speaker 13 (13:37):
Any combination of six figures.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yes, so you're you do make you do make six figures?
Who are saying I'm with you? Yeah? Yes, yes? Uh.
Speaker 13 (13:47):
John's in the corner crying in dollars.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
John makes so much money it's disgusting.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
He makes more than everyone.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
He makes more. Honestly, he might make more than me. Yes,
and I'll tell you why. Because John star to do
something called TikTok Radio, and that's like a side thing.
He does our show and then he gets off and
does another show. So John is like two jobs. And
I heard the company dumped so much money into this
TikTok radio adventure that everybody on there is making bank
(14:16):
ask me where John is today? Good? Ask me that question.
I'm in the hot seat.
Speaker 13 (14:19):
Ask me where is John on.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
His way to Italy on Delta one?
Speaker 15 (14:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (14:26):
Yeah, stop asking if he's going to get engaged over there.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
I should stop asking that. Or do you think he is?
Speaker 1 (14:32):
So?
Speaker 13 (14:32):
I think you should stop?
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Why so?
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Wait?
Speaker 8 (14:35):
You only want found the hot seat.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I'm the only one in the hot seat. I shouldn't
have put anybody else in the hot seat. Is that
what you're saying.
Speaker 13 (14:44):
I just feel bad for him, And then what if,
Olivia it's happening.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
He's not going to tell me on the areas getting engaged. Okay,
that's not going to happen.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
He did tell me he was going to let me
know when he was going to do it.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
What Yeah, did he tell you anything before he left?
Speaker 10 (15:00):
No?
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Why would he let you know?
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Because I'm his best friend and you're not.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
In the room.
Speaker 8 (15:07):
We were close, John and I are pretty tight to Yeah,
you guys have been having a little moment.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
Do you guys say each other? Voice notes?
Speaker 2 (15:14):
No, No, that sounds like an affair. That's what it
sounds like. He's gonna let you know, just in case
you tell him not to. I'm gonna ask him there
I mean, and he shouldn't. He shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
I should know before.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
There was one time that John gave Chili Hickey. Yep,
that is true.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
And we'll end it with that because you didn't want
anything else. I love you, guys, love you too bad.
Speaker 12 (15:45):
Have a good one you too, Okay?
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Why all right? Three? One O four three? Maybe some
more hot seat questions. I don't know, right, couple, We'll
see what they come in as three one o four.
Speaker 9 (15:59):
Three one four three my SM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
Prince Harry was asked who he thinks is the UK's
most famous Harry and he was a little reluctant to
answer it first, but then he said Harry Styles at
number one, English soccer player Harry Kane at number two. Then,
after a really long pause, he said that he thinks
he's in third place, tied with Harry Potter, and he
said they'll settle.
Speaker 5 (16:22):
It by having a quidditch off.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
And according to a new study, our brains love drama
and when we're watching television, we remember TV enemies better
than TV friends.
Speaker 5 (16:34):
Researchers had college students.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
Watch episodes of Suits while their brains were being scanned,
and they found that people's brains tracked rivalries much more
clearly than TV friendships, and scientists think it's because conflict
helps our brains organize who's who in a story. I'm
Jill with your entertainment headlines on Valentine in the Morning,
coming up right at six o'clock. We'll give you another
(16:55):

southern California is this you? Would this be you? If
you're a couple out there, or maybe you're recently married
and you look back and go, oh, didn't think about
this option. More and more couples in so cal are
(17:57):
choosing to get married at courthouses instead of expanding to
wedding venues. One of the most popular spots is the
Santa Barbara County Courthouse, where a marriage license and ceremony
costs about two hundred bucks. Courthouse has become so popular
officials have added an expressed ceremony option. Oh whoa express
that helps couples get married more quickly. Can you imagine that.
(18:19):
Let's go, let's go. I gotta get back to work,
let's go, let's get this done. Fox and Telemundo just
announced it. More than sixty million people in the US
watched the World Cup final. That means Spain's one thing
he will win over Argentina was the most watched soccer
broadcast in US history. Even after Team USA was eliminated,
viewership remained strong. Felt the tournament it was phenomenal. FIFA
(18:40):
might be a shady organization at points, but what a
great run the World Cup. Then so many people they
found across the country, not just here in La because
obviously we have a large Latino population and a lot
of people you know, speak Spanish here or kind of
bilingual or touch on it enough that they're okay, right,
Telemundo found a lot of people across the United State.
It's in non dominant Spanish speaking areas. We're watching Telemundo
(19:04):
just because that dude going.
Speaker 7 (19:16):
Oh, I'm tuning in right, so much.

how he's gonna end the word hanging on to the end?
All right, John is out. He's getting married or something
at the courthouse. We don't know, maybe's at a courthouse. We'll
see what happens. Jill's gonna fill in with the music
trending news.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
You may know the song Move from Ludacris came out
to two thousand and one, and for over twenty five
years people have been wondering what exactly is this song about.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
Listen, I don't, I've never wondered. It sounds like move
and then the Dirty word get out the way. I
feel like there's a in front of him that he
wants to move.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
I listened to it.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
I always thought it was like an anthem for your life,
like don't let anything stop you do you just move.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
Those obstacles out of the way, you keep going.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Apparently I thought it was a lady in his parking spot.
He's like, mom, me get out the way.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Oh you were somewhat right, because now, for the first time,
Ludacrist has revealed the inspiration behind this song. He got
the idea while sitting in the driver's seat of his car,
and he told People Magazine that's when he wrote Move.
It was inspired by being in traffic.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Yeah, I kind of got it. I wasn't far off
of that, right.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
I knew that. I always knew the really first heard the.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Song, I never thought it was like inspiration or anthem
for my life, like move, get out the way. I
think I think I've sung that song too, maybe not
with those same lyrics. Yeah, yeah, but never said, gosh, guys,
is this an anthem for me holding myself back in life?
If I been stagnant mya stagnant pond, is it time
(20:54):
for me to get the water rippling again and say move,
get out the way. Yeah here I come, yeah you
in my mind. I never had that in my head.
Speaker 5 (21:04):

good music.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yea, so filling into this abo all like Disney like headlines.
It's like princess no no, but it's the princess voice
inside of you. I thought it was an inspiration to
reach the top of the castle, let down my hair
and say I'm her puns of everybody, come on up
to the top for a better view. A thousand bucks
(21:27):

a type on my sheet.
Speaker 14 (21:48):

Speaker 2 (21:49):
And I am Ron Burgundy. If you write it, Brian,

Speaker 4 (22:05):
Song Scott to Do Do Do?
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Is it a karaoke song. Yeah, I've been trying to
change it up, man, I'm trying to find something. Last
week I did in John P. Kate's when I talked
about this, by the way, because nobody cares about your
mom's karaoke at memory care center. So anyway, last week
I did Barry Manilow and I think it was my wheelhouse.
You know, like his vocals, even though very Barry mental
(22:34):
is an amazing vocalist. I was kind of nailing copa cabana.
Then I stretched my legs a bit. Yes, you know,
I did a split for them. It was great. So
I stretched my legs a bit and I did Mandy.
Oh Mandy, you came and you gave without taking, and
I sent you away. Oh Mandy. And this little old
(22:55):
lady she says, like they talked during the show, right,
who's Mandy. You can hear her talking to lady next
to her, is that it's girlfriend. Who's Mandy. It was like,
I think it's a dog, and I'm like, it's it's
not a dog. That rumor was papooed. It wasn't. It's not.
It came and you gave me that. He ruined my
(23:16):
song Get Out Go back to your room.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Handle the Hecklers man.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah, I'm not good to Heckler's not good to Heckler's
Red Hot Chili Pepper's scar tissue. That's a great song.
I were playing that. It's a good variety. Now on
my offen John peaks. Really he's got his hands under
the hood, so to speak, and he's playing around with stuff.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
I heard four non blondes and I was like, thank you.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
When you heard it, you go, what's up? What's up
with them? What's up?
Speaker 5 (23:40):
What's going on?
Speaker 11 (23:41):
Right?
Speaker 2 (23:41):
What song was it?
Speaker 5 (23:42):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (23:43):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Gotcha? Heckler Let him cook, Jill, just let him cook.
Oh my god. The song of the Summer. Jill's got
a little list about what she thinks is the song
of the summer. See if you agree, but plus some
music forore you come in next. Do you agree? These
songs could be even if they're not your favorite, listen
(24:05):
to them. Could they be? The song in the summer?
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Text? Valentine in the Morning at three one oh four
to three?
Speaker 2 (24:13):
All right, it is six thirty five. Well that's kind
of my trademark, isn't it? Because I opened the Battle
of Sex is like that it is. It is, it is,
It is six thirty five. Catch my headstone. It is Valentine,
who's buried here? Ah, hot Sonny, Hie's mostly in the nineties.
We're gonna get a hot spell for about a week,
(24:33):
so it's gonna be very, very hot, and I know
that stings. And please be careful. Hi's in the nineties today,
low eighties. Near the beach is sixty seven, Pomona sixty nine,
Manhattan Beach. Joe's got the entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
Lizzo is on the cover of Sports Illustrated Online Swimsuit
issue and she wants you to love your body. I'll
tell you what she said about it coming up at
six fifty.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
Good morning, Olivia, did you get your nails done? They
were driving to the airport this morning, weren't they?
Speaker 4 (24:58):
Oh my gosh. I was like, who's Olivia and why is.
Speaker 3 (25:02):

Speaker 5 (25:03):
They were driving this morning.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Wow, have a great trip, have a.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
Good time, have fun you guys.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Sean and Olivia driving to the airport right now? All right,
So let's launch into the song in the Summer as
predicted by Jill.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Yes, I've narrowed it down to three songs and I'm
interested to see what you think is the song of
the Summer. You can text us at three one oh
four to three. But this is my list, starting off
with a song we all know and love. I just
mighte from Bruno Mars to me, A song of the
summer is upbeat, it's fun, it's feel good. It's something
(25:41):
you can dance along too. Whether you're at a wedding
or at the beach, you can't help but move when
this song is on.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
And Bruno's back. It's his first album in ten years.
Speaker 7 (25:53):
It's fun.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
It'll remind us of this time when we're you know,
twenty years from now, you'll hear it the summer of
twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Oh got twenty years, so I'm going to hear this
song and think about this moment.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Yeah, you remember my face, and you're gonna think what
a great time oh I had in the studio.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
O chill, just like hold on, just I'm putting that
in my notes, in my phone. I want to put
it in my calendar, put it in my eye clouds.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
I don't forget Bruno Mars. I just my a contender
for Song of the Summer.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
It's good song, it's good song this, Yeah, all right.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Next up, We've got Die Die Got Everything you need bring.
It's Shakira and burna Boy and it's the official twenty
twenty six feet O World Cup anthem.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Yeah. I didn't hear it enough then. I don't mean
that facicially or sarcastically. I honestly just didn't hear this
enough because if they played it with the games, I
was watching the games, wasn't really paying attention and stuff.
And I don't think we played it here at my INFM.
Did we. Oh, we didn't anti soccer people here.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
But that's just the thing, like the World Cup.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
Soccer that's summer.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, you know, and this song is cool.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
Yeah, you know, and it brought everyone together this summer.
We're gonna remember how we were really all united watching
these matches.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
You're you gonna turn into Lisa Fox. She started crying
at the end of the day. She's crying the World
Cup is over. She said, we have to do a
post mortem in the World Cup. I didn't know what
that meant.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
She really enjoyed the World Cup.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Yeah, another contender.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Good song.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
Yeah, Now, this one, I.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
Feel is truly my number one song of the summer
and it's a livery Rodrigo stupid song.
Speaker 7 (27:48):
Tale, Valentine.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
When you hear this song, what do you picture yourself doing?
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Just growing, becoming stronger, just saying no to stupid stuff
in my life. I don't even know what this song
is about. I have no idea, honestly.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
Okay, she's basically saying she loves him more than any
stupid song could ever say. But when I hear this song,
all right, so I wasn't doing that. It's okay, It's okay.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
I felt the build, That's what I was, I responded
to lyrics. I'm feeling the build.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
Of the song, That's exactly it. It starts out kind
of slow, yeah, and then it really builds. But when
I hear it, I just want to be driving windows down,
singing this song at the top of my lungs. And
we've all, I think most of us have had, like
that summer fling or that summer romance.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
I'm due. Yeah, no, I got you.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
But it's about you, know, you're feeling all these feelings
and whether you are you know, forty two or twenty
two or sixty two, you have these feelings at some
point in your life towards someone and I just feel
like that's summer.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
And I just love this song so much.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
It's my favorite song Olivia's new album and it's stupid
song Summer.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Just no, I'm digging it. I like it. I like it.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
I haven't heard it enough to say I'm gonna remember
it twenty years from now. I remember this moment. But
I like the song, and I would say, out of
those three, I would pick that one based on build great.
I think it's a great song. But Song in the
Summer is so it's so hard. It is I've got one.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
See that's the thing, Like, I feel like it's it's
personal to everyone. What's yours.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Well, I'm going to play a song then I'll tell
you what mine is. Like. We got to get people
a breath before they hear greatness.
Speaker 7 (29:41):
Okay, you can't wait?
Speaker 2 (29:44):

those three.
Speaker 14 (29:47):

is like Ai, which I hate AI in that respect.
This one time, you give it a pass because it's funny,
just this one time. People just guaranteed human from now,
guaranteed human forever. But that one song we're labeling as AI,

Speaker 4 (41:02):
Hey man representing the ladies. Her name is Kayla. She
lives in Banning. She works as an assistant manager and
enjoys writing golf carts around the neighborhood.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
Let's hear it for Kayla.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Kayla, what's going on? Kayla?
Speaker 15 (41:13):
Good morning?
Speaker 10 (41:14):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (41:14):
Riding the golf carts? Look at you? That sounds kind
of fun. Well, here's how it works, Kayla. I'm gonna
ask a few questions, Ernie. Jill's gonna ask you the questions.
Best out of three wins. If we're still tied the
end of regulation, we go to a not so tough
tiebreaker question. Let us start with the ladies. What singer
is known for the album's guts and sour?
Speaker 12 (41:33):
Oh that is, Oh my gosh, Olivia Olivia?
Speaker 4 (41:42):
Yeah, Ernie. What is the name of the duo of
Bruno Mars and Anderson Pack?
Speaker 5 (41:50):
What do they call silk Sonic? Is correct?
Speaker 2 (41:54):
All right, guys? On the board, the score is once
to nothing. What's the name of the tallest mountain on Earth?
Speaker 9 (42:05):
Kilimanjaro, Mount Everest, Mount Everest?
Speaker 2 (42:09):
I love myself?
Speaker 4 (42:10):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 2 (42:11):
In case it was on Mars or some other planets.
You know, I know that was so well, Ernie, what
are you doing?
Speaker 8 (42:19):
There's a bag of treats over here that I just
stepped on.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Ernie.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
In Japan, what is the name of the snow capped
volcano which is the country's tallest peak.
Speaker 9 (42:32):
Oh that's Fuji?
Speaker 5 (42:33):
Yes, that's right.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Yeah, who knows that stuff? Wow? I know, I know,
but guys do win. Nice job. You got a Battle
of a Sexist Championship certificate posted in soul shoes the
hashtag Valentine in the morning. You share that fried Okay,
thank you guys, you got it. You've also got a
four packed tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood Get going, four largest,
(42:55):
three inversions, three sixty degree rotations. What am I talking about?
Talking about fast and furious Hollywood Drift. There's also a
bonus chance to win on our iHeartRadio app for everybody.
Tap the contest tab while you're listening to one of
four three MIFM to win on the iHeartRadio app as well.
Nice job, Ernie.
Speaker 13 (43:12):
Thank you, kay.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
As you exit the stage, this moment is entirely yours.
You take it away.
Speaker 12 (43:20):
Just thank you so much for the opportunity.
Speaker 9 (43:22):
You guys are very fun.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Thanks so much, Thank you, YouTube appreciate you. Laura will
have the traffic coming up a little bit later on
this hour, so Melissa Chris will be the professional.
Speaker 9 (43:32):
Now, three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Seven twenty one. It is Valentine in the morning. This
is one of four three MIFM. If you're trying to
save money at the grocery store, new study claims are
Ralphs has cheaper prices when compared to other grocery store chains.
I'm not gonna mention where I go, what grocery store,
et cetera, because you know, I like a lot of
different grocery stores. I have just been struggling with fresh produce.
Speaker 5 (43:59):
You've been talk about that a lot.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
Yeah, the peaches last night had moled all over them,
and it's like the second or third time in the
recent weeks. And I just love peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
And you do always pick the best peaches.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
I pick great peaches, but I haven't been able to
eat peaches because it's been mold all over them. What
do we do with produce? So I gotta start on the
farmer's markets or the guy in the side of the road.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
You know.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
Research is compared every day adams like eggs, milk, bread,
and can goods found the prices slightly less than walmart
Aldi and Albertson's. The study comes as shoppers continue searching
for waste of cut costs. Grocery price is so higher
than they were a few years ago, but the Saint
Ralph's some of the cheaper prices out there. The push
to make daylight saving time permanent is moving forward in Congress.
(44:41):
If it passes, that would mean that mornings would become
much darker during the winter here in southern California. Some
of you haven't thought about this with your big desire
to keep the sunshine in the evening hours in La.
The latest sunrise of the year. Oh, look out your
window now, it'd still be pitch black. At seven thirty,
(45:03):
it'd be pitch black. At seven forty five, it would
be pitch black. At seven fifty, it would be pitch black.
At seven fifty five, pitch black, seven fifty nine full
vin diesel. Eight o'clock would be the latest eight o'clock. Yeah,
so that would be the latest sunrise of the year.
(45:23):
Eight am. If you're okay, or that the trade off
will be an extra hour of evening daylight during the winter.
The bill has passed the House, but still needs to
Senate approval before it can become law. Everybody fights over this.
I know a lot of people want that later sunshine.
How do you feel about it?
Speaker 8 (45:37):
I hate changing the head chests, all right, messages, messages,
and for one, and you wouldn't be in favor like
a half hour thing, like you take half hour tickets,
So we split it down the middle set.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Of a full hour to be more confusing. Now, really,
you do it. Once you're done, we just go all right,
it's not seven twenty three, it's seven to fifty three. Whatever, Joe,
what about your thoughts?
Speaker 4 (45:56):
I just say, we just keep it the way it
is right now.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
It's changing it every no, no, no, like she.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
Permanent, so she's in favor of what you got right there? Yeah,
what if because people do argue about it? What if
you know, we just kind of split it, like you
get your you do your half of the year and
I'll do my half of the year, and we just
just do that once a year, we flip it.
Speaker 3 (46:13):
It's the perfect So you did it.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
Yeah, I figured it all right, Jill, what's training? Get music?
Speaker 4 (46:18):
So Oasis Wonderwall is back on the charts.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Yeah, Walk Winding.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
Thanks to the FIFA World Cup, it has re entered
the Billboard Hot one hundred at number twenty seven.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
So England fans adopted us as the team's unofficial stampem
during the World Cup, throughout.
Speaker 4 (46:38):
The tournament and after their biggest victories. Just thousands of
fans this song and the team.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
It's just oh.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
Videos are just so cool espagement and so now more
and more people are listening to it again and it's
at number twenty second on the Billboard Hot one hundred.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
Yo, great song, great song.
Speaker 4 (47:02):
I'm Jill filling in for John. And that's what's trending
in music.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Today.
Speaker 5 (47:11):
What's gonna be the day?
Speaker 2 (47:14):
And we're like, take me home Corus to the babes?
Is that long? We should have done this? Yes, this
says America coming up. What's the cheapest thing you do
to save money? Reach out? Three one oh four three.
Speaker 4 (47:34):
Like Sarah who said I took my daughter out to
lunch at Costco. Think God did a.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Western North Dakota? Do you know anybody there Western North Dakota?
I do not, Okay, well, if we make this daylight
saving time thing permanent, western North Dakota will have a
sunrise at nine fifty in the morning. Oh, what are
we doing to our friends in western North Dakota, the
western upper Peninsula of Michigan, a beautiful state, Michigan, right
(48:09):
the Ontonagan area. How about that? That would be their sunrise?
Kids be going to school in the pitch black, so.
Speaker 3 (48:22):
We won't have flashlights.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
So it got its way through the through the House,
and I guess it goes to the Senate now. So
people are in favor of this daylight saving thing, of
keeping it the way it is right now. But but
then every state, I guess, has the option to decide
if they want to do it or not. California years
ago we said, yeah, but you want all fifty states
like doing different things. Yeah, so then you're like driving
(48:47):
up to like, uh, you know, Oregon or something. You're
like time change, Washington time change.
Speaker 3 (48:52):
I guess I don't really care about them. They do
their own thing.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
You don't really care about other states. No, let's do
our own all right, We're California, We're doing our own things.
It's one of four to three miles fam it's Valentine
in the morning desire, Good morning. How are you today?
Speaker 10 (49:06):
I'm tired, Yeah, a lot of people are.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
I just did a double shot espresso and there was
a lot of caffeine, and I have a funny feeling.
I may regret it, and you may regret it that
I did it too. I don't know. So what do
you do to be cheap?
Speaker 10 (49:25):
I read if there's a mess, I already use the
same paper towel, but guess for that one mess, like
I won't use it for anything else.
Speaker 2 (49:34):
Well, that's fine, I mean just cleaning up a mess
with a paper towel. You just keep using it until
it's full.
Speaker 10 (49:38):
Right, Yeah, and then I'll squeeze it out in the
trash and reuse it again to clean up the mess.
Speaker 2 (49:46):
Oh, got it, all right. I never thought about that.
So you got like a wet mess, you clean it
with the bounty, and then you go over your trash
can squeeze it and then come back and clean the
rest of the mess with the same bounty and.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
It will still absorb.
Speaker 10 (49:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
Yeah, well sounds like you're working for empty people.
Speaker 17 (50:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (50:05):
I'll watch my husband just use half the roll of
a paper towel. Just so that he doesn't get his
hand with it. And I'm like, it's just milcore, just
the dogs of pee. Just wash your hands, just.
Speaker 2 (50:15):
The dogs pee. Just wash your hands.
Speaker 3 (50:17):
Does seems like you're just moving that pee around a
little not necessarily.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
No, she's draining the pea in me. Oh yeah, But
you spray something too, don't you on the pee?
Speaker 15 (50:29):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (50:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (50:30):
Once I Once I get everything up and it seems
pretty much drive and I'll come back with a brand
new paper towel and I'll spray like Life Style or whatever,
and then I'll wipe it.
Speaker 2 (50:40):
Okay, right, is this on carpet or on tile?
Speaker 17 (50:43):
Tile?
Speaker 2 (50:44):
Yeah? All right, I got you?
Speaker 18 (50:45):
Yeah, something like you carpet?
Speaker 10 (50:46):
I yeah, I gotta pet spray.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Yeah, we have a pet spray too, too, darn dogs.
All right, I appreciate you, desire, have a good day
you too, Thank you. I love take care. Hey Coco,
good morning. How are you today?
Speaker 14 (51:03):
Hi?
Speaker 10 (51:03):
Good morning everybody morning.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
So what about you? What is the cheapest thing you
do to save money.
Speaker 15 (51:10):
In the pandemic?
Speaker 13 (51:11):
I bought like a fifteen dollar pair of scissors, and
now I just trimmed my hair and save like a
hundred bucks every time.
Speaker 6 (51:17):
I do it.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
Wow, nice, look at you trimming your own hair. Do
you get bangs?
Speaker 14 (51:24):
No?
Speaker 13 (51:24):
No, no, no, I can't do bangs. I'll mess it
up for sure.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Okay, but how do you trim the back of it?
Speaker 3 (51:28):
What do you do?
Speaker 2 (51:29):
Or you used to a punzele? That bad? Boys?
Speaker 10 (51:31):
This YouTube university and I just grabbed some hair trim it.
It's all good, it's fun.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
YouTube shows you how to do that.
Speaker 5 (51:38):
Oh yeah hair.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
Yeah, how do you get back to though? I can'd
ever reach? I mean, how do you do it?
Speaker 15 (51:44):
No?
Speaker 10 (51:45):
You just grabbed some hair and start cutting.
Speaker 17 (51:47):
It's it's all fine.
Speaker 4 (51:49):
I start to bring it around and you can see
it in the mirror.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (51:53):
Yeah, you do that thing with the two fingers and
you squish the hair in between.
Speaker 13 (51:56):
And then you need to start trimming it.
Speaker 15 (51:57):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (51:58):
Okay, yeah, I've seen hair sealing do that? Yeah all right,
all right?
Speaker 10 (52:02):
And you know the hairstylist are so expensive.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
Yeah, they love hearing you say this on the air.
Send a pic. I don't ask many women to send
pics because that's the kind of a thing you shouldn't do.
But I'm very curious to see how your hair turned out.
Speaker 10 (52:18):
Oh I think it's great. I have long hair, so
you can't really tell if it's uneven or not.
Speaker 13 (52:23):
And then I curl it and it looks great.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
It's like I keep it in a ponytail every day.
Oh there you go, Thanks Coke. I appreciate you calling in.
Speaker 10 (52:32):
Have a good day, everybody.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Bye. Tak found a video the other day during the pandemic.
So funny. She references that of my wife cutting my hair.
My wife cutting my hair in the backyard. Oh yeah,
it was the funniest thing, the two of us chatting
back and forth. I missed those days, you do.
Speaker 3 (52:49):
You missed the pendon.
Speaker 2 (52:50):
It was a good time that was not forced my
family to love me. Morning at three three text came in.
Thanks for being the voice of reason regarding Dst Value
your saint of the text. So the time change, would
that mean that if California changed in New York didn't,
we could be four hours difference for half the year.
(53:11):
Nobody knows. Nobody knows, you know who knows? Who knows?
It might be a different day. John Kavuci is out,
he's on vacation. Filling in for traffic will be the
Brisbane Biscuit. Laura is from Australia, our social media director,
and she wanted to give it a go. And I
(53:31):
am all about making dreams come true. So let's go.
Speaker 19 (53:35):
All right, everyone, Laura here coming in hot. Okay, let's
play the everyone's favorite game. Why am I running late today?
In downtown LA on the ten eb I think that
means eastbound connected to the SB I'm just gonna be
that means southbound is closed because of a cigaette.
Speaker 16 (53:51):
Isn't that a yoga brand anyway?
Speaker 19 (53:53):
I think it is actually, But there's an overtime stemmi,
So to stay out of that area if you can. Okay,
let's move to Hawthorne on the one O four off
ramp to crunch Are.
Speaker 16 (54:02):
There is an accident, so you know what that means,
little stop.
Speaker 5 (54:05):
And go action.
Speaker 16 (54:06):
The good news is it's only fifteen minutes.
Speaker 19 (54:08):
The bad news is it is still fifteen minutes, so
you're not going anywhere anytime soon.
Speaker 16 (54:12):
Oh wow, there's a city called Rainbow that's really beautiful. Anyway.
Speaker 19 (54:15):
Lastly, let's have a look at Hollywood ak tinseltown as
they call it.
Speaker 16 (54:19):
Sometimes.
Speaker 19 (54:20):
There is about a twenty two minute delay on the
one oh one north about ham getting this TRAFFICLINKO now
and that's before Melroads, so you can check back in
with me.
Speaker 16 (54:29):
Actually not sure if I'll be called back to do
this again. If I am, you can check.
Speaker 19 (54:34):
Back with me soon and we can see which freeway
is testing everyone's character this morning.
Speaker 5 (54:37):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (54:38):
Wow, Oh no, I loved it really good. Yeah, you're
doing it for the rest of the day until we
get told you're not doing it for the rest of
the day.
Speaker 4 (54:47):
Sea one summer stone fruit at Whole Food's Market.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
All right, seven thirty nine. Weather today, hot hot, really hot.
High's mostly the nineties, low eighties near the beaches, and
that heat wave is coming. Guys seventeen, Sandimus seventy two
and Fullers and Jill's got the entertainment headlines Coming up
on the Voice this season.
Speaker 5 (55:05):
A coach is getting a custom chair.
Speaker 4 (55:07):
I'll tell you who and why.
Speaker 5 (55:09):
Coming up at seven to fifty.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
This topic. It's bringing me flashbacks because I know we've
touched on this before, because y'all got on me one
time and I said it as a joke, and now
everybody believes it that I raise my dental three spring
that up to me, I do not use my dental floss.
I said it as a joke, and you morons.
Speaker 3 (55:25):
I think you said it.
Speaker 2 (55:27):
You saw the backlash, and then what I think that
was changing my story?
Speaker 3 (55:31):
It was a joke.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
It was.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
Was I take my dental floss, I use it, and
then I just kind of take my finger and glide
it down, the dental floss into the sink and rinse
my fingers and then I let my dental floss. I
have a dental floss clothesline where I let it kind
of hang, and i'd like three or four nice strands
and so I rotate them until they're afraid and don't
be used anymore. And dental floss first off, glide or
(55:54):
will be that stuff is expensive. Man, it's ridiculous and
I have tight t I can't use that ordinary stuff.
My teeth will shredd it. I need something better, And
so why not if you can just reuse some of
that dental flaws.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
People will bring that up randomly.
Speaker 8 (56:11):
You'll be making some point and someone will text in
like this coming from the man that reuses his dentpoo flaws,
And true, you were always gonna be that guy.
Speaker 2 (56:19):
No, I'm not. I take it back, take it back.
What is the cheapest thing you do to save money
text in at three one off four to three.
Speaker 4 (56:25):
This text says, I turn off all the lights in
the house when they are not in use.
Speaker 5 (56:30):
Another text has to save money.
Speaker 4 (56:32):
I starve every day at work for lunch. I don't
ever eat unless there's some potluck going on.
Speaker 2 (56:38):
Oh that's funny. There are a lot of people here
at iHeart. I noticed that get a lot of their
supplies from work. You know those Cosmopolitan notebooks, the black
and white ones.
Speaker 3 (56:49):
Oh yeah, those are nice.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
Those are nice.
Speaker 5 (56:51):
Oh yeah, we have those here.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
Yeah, we well did They furnished a supply of somebody's
kids high school career h so they didn't not have
to worry about this. But I've seen people take toilet paper,
printer paper. Printer paper for sure, printed paper. They save
money because like you're doing work at home anyway, right,
you know, it's like work stuff related at home. I'm
(57:15):
sure you printed something at one point, so I think
you can take that. I just think iHeart needs to
restock some of these things because we're getting low. Yeah,
send a note to the guy in charge here. We're
getting low on toilet paper, could you restock that please?
But they get smart. It's the cheapest stuff in the world.
You don't want on your bomb here at iHeart, so
I don't steal that anymore. Alice Warren, this is ordinary.
(57:36):
It's one of four to three MIFM. They say, the
cheapest thing you do to save money, Brian, cheapest thing
you do. Gosh, oh, I just eat lunch with me.
That is the cheapest thing you do.
Speaker 8 (57:56):
Low Valentine out every day and see if he stops
at the coffee right, and then I just always forget
my wallet and I get coffee every.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
Day, right, every day, the little coffee shop right down
here all the time, expensive coffee shop kept back a
bit on that almond milk stuff. Okay, uh, do you
have any lactate or something whatever? So yeah, Brian just
always happens to be hanging with me as I'm walking out.
Oh I'm just going for a little walk in the
sunshine too. And okay, oh you sap upstairs?
Speaker 17 (58:25):
Oh on you?
Speaker 2 (58:26):
Oh that's so sweet. Yeah yeah yeah. Jill, she made
me bring my own tea bags to her party. I
had no tea bags. Had a party in the fourth
of July. I wanted a hot cup of tea. Who
would enjoy hot cup of tea in the evening hours
and uh oh no tea bags. I guess that's why
I had to bring mine, because I know that Auntie
Jill wouldn't have any.
Speaker 5 (58:45):
I don't like spending money.
Speaker 9 (58:47):
One O four three MYFM. Here's what's coming up in
entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (58:53):
Ryan Goffling got his wish and something on his body
is getting fixed.
Speaker 5 (58:58):

Speaker 4 (58:59):
I olrighty.
Speaker 19 (59:04):
I would love to give a shout out to my
traffic fans about some great reviews. Thank you to the
texture of the four one seven. That's a accent is funny.
I will take that as a compliment. Okay, let's get
this traffic started in Actin on the fourteen Antelope Valley Freeway.
Speaker 16 (59:18):
That sounds quite whimsical.
Speaker 19 (59:19):
There is an accident, but it's been cleared, so there
is this six minute delay over there, so whole tight.
Over to Pomona on the CA seventy one southbound off ramp,
we have another little whoopsie between two cars, so a
little bit of stuff and go traffic there A whole
tight shouldn't be much longer. And lastly, let's check in
with Corona on the CA seventy one southbound. There is
(59:40):
a thirteen minute delay there. I feel like if you're
sitting in traffic, I've just been thinking to myself. There's
a little song there like actin Permona. Ooh, I wanna
take it to Corona and Sino.
Speaker 16 (59:51):
Ooh, I want to go to summer Land.
Speaker 1 (59:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 19 (59:56):
That's all I got working with at the moment, but
everything else is looking pretty good.
Speaker 3 (59:59):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
I'm so proud. I'm just so proud, so proud. Laura
Starmaker they call him. Ye Wow, Laura, You're fantastic.
Speaker 16 (01:00:09):
Ce.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
This might drive me crazy by nine o'clock, but right
now you are killing it, just killing.
Speaker 20 (01:00:17):
Every breakthrough starts with someone willing to take part. Summit
Clinical Research is seeking volunteers with fatty liver disease for
studies focused on MASH. Participants may receive study, treatment, care,
and compensation at no cost. Check eligibility at Nashlivertrials dot com.
Speaker 9 (01:00:33):
One four three my sm entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
Lalla Land is being released back in theaters beginning Sunday,
August sixteenth to celebrate the ten year anniversary.
Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
And you know the iconic movie poster for Lalla.
Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
Land, It's Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. There's a purple
sky behind him and they're doing like a dance move
on it.
Speaker 14 (01:00:51):
Well.
Speaker 4 (01:00:52):
Ryan Gosling has hated the placement of his wrist in
that poster. He calls it the Laala hand. He says,
it's always awkward and to him, it's killed the energy.
Speaker 5 (01:01:02):
It's it's kind of a bent wrist.
Speaker 4 (01:01:04):
Now, as a dancer, when you have your hand out,
you want the energy flowing from your fingertips. And Ryan
knows that, so he is getting his wish for the
tenth anniversary. They have re released this poster and they
fixed his wrist and that energy is flowing out of
his fingertips. And The Voice is going to premiere Monday,
September twenty first on NBC, and its host Carson Daly
(01:01:28):
is looking up Riley Green, a new coach for this season,
with his own custom chair for The Voice, where he
will be able to keep his cowboy hat on the chair.
Riley said, I get a little holster for my hat,
and nobody else has it. He said's going to be
part of his strategy. Riley Green said, what I found
out is having the hat wherever you're trying to get
when you have the hat and you're trying to get
(01:01:49):
somebody to pick you as their coach. You pull it out,
you put it on, and people know you're serious. I'm
Jill with antipid headline.
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Oh no, you put that hat on and the energy's
not flown out of your head. It's gonna flow out
like the fingers on the dancer. Once a dancer, always
a dancer, says Jill.
Speaker 7 (01:02:05):
Yes, it's true.
Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
Once a child actor, always an amazing actress. This one too.
If you're new to our show and you didn't know that,
Jill was a very famous child actress and did so
many movies and stuff, and like many big names in Hollywood,
decided not to pursue that as a full time career
down the road and went off to college and did
her stuff, and then got into the world of radio
because entertainment was still calling her in some form. But
(01:02:28):
you know, from the Wedding Singer to Smart House, to
all these different movies that you were a part of,
to The Parent Trap to Little Giants and stuff. It
is just neat to know that I'm sitting across from
not suirly Temple, but albeit somebody that in your time
was known as the child actor of some great accounts.
That is so, that's just fun to sit here and
(01:02:51):
just and then a dancer too, and the energy flown
out of those fingers and now flows out of your mouth,
you know, just flows right out. Oh, Elly Goulding, this
is lights. You got happy news? Reach out three one
oh four to three, take it out.
Speaker 16 (01:03:13):
It came for happy news.
Speaker 12 (01:03:15):
I'm some time and the miming my happy news is
that I am fifty three years old and just purchased
our first home.
Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
Congratulations, So you and who else purchases home?
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):

Speaker 12 (01:03:32):

Speaker 2 (01:03:36):

Speaker 12 (01:03:44):
My husband is a veteran, so we were going by
VA loan. So we finally been an offer on a
home and the VIA appraiser said that the house was
overvalued and was not going to approve the seller's rate right,
and then the seller to drop the ice of the
home by seventy two thousand.
Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Dollars seventy two grands. Wow, just so it would go
through to.
Speaker 12 (01:04:05):
Be able to get it. He said that him and
his and his wife they prayed about it, and they
said that the Lord gave them peace to be able
to sell us dust home. Wow, seventy two thousand dollars
under ask.
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Wow, that's amazing crazy. Yeah, anybody else out there looking
to buy a home, asked the seller. If the lord's
speaking to.
Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
Him, that's greatly Yow, what.
Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
Your good people? Your husband served, that's fantastic, Yes, thank
you so much. Did he carry you across the threshold
when you got moved in?
Speaker 12 (01:04:37):
I waited a little bit too much. Now it's been
thirty years of marriage. I'm a little bit too big
for him to be carrying me around. Now, Well, you
could have.
Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
Stood like on his tippy toes and he could have
like walked you across. You know you ever do that
with the kids on his back?
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
Maybe?
Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
No, no, no, no no.
Speaker 12 (01:04:52):
What we did do is we stood on the front
porch and we just gazed at our new neighborhood together
holding him.
Speaker 2 (01:04:58):

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
I believe.
Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
I believe the children are the people, and I believe
that maybe they might be somebody else that might be
stepping in for the voiceover parts. Not because you can't
do black face, right, but yeah, then again, I kind
of have a white face, So I believe that somebody
else might be stepping in for the voiceover parts.
Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
That's what I hear for me. Thank you back to
you that coming up later on this hour. What did
your kid do that made you think they aren't ready
for the real world yet?
Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
I'm so scared based off of these comments that we've received.
Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
What are you afraid of these kids going out into
the world, being part of society, contributing members to it
and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (01:07:55):
Like Jody who said he missed his plane because he
was waiting on his Tater taught order even though he
heard the airport page. The tots apparently were more important
than catching his plane.
Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
I get it. There's another flight. Warm tater tots are
warm tater tots man. We've had that discussion on the
air before. Tater tots are fries.

Okay, Melissa, it's me. Actually I talk too much, And
that's okay. It's totally mean, totally mean.
Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
That's okay because I know somebody in this room that
said that question as an assault against their hosts. It
was shots fire.
Speaker 15 (01:11:19):
And you and I.
Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
I mentioned this yesterday. You and I live with the EMS,
the emergency mouth system. It's only a test. We're a
testament at all times.
Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
Ladies, whinlassa congratulations. You wouldn't have battled the Sexton's championship

like the lowest volume because I wasn't allowed to listen
to it.
Speaker 12 (01:12:03):
I've been a fan of hers since I was like twelve.
I'm so thrilled.
Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
You're gonna have so much fun. I'm so happy for you.
Speaker 4 (01:12:08):
That's what Michelle Branch said too. When I talked to her,
she said the exact same thing. She had to hide
it from her parents.
Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Hide what you asked her about that?
Speaker 9 (01:12:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Oh wow, okay, oh that's wild. Did you have to
hide the elandismore st c to yourself?
Speaker 5 (01:12:24):
I wasn't allowed to buy it.
Speaker 3 (01:12:25):
You to buy it being that controversial?
Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
You have a jag a little pill.
Speaker 5 (01:12:29):
It was jagged little pill, right, Oh.
Speaker 3 (01:12:32):
You want to know was kind of that one?
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):

Now stand by for some award winning traffic with the
Brisbane Biscuit. Laura's got that righty, Yes.
Speaker 16 (01:13:14):
Like VLSA, it is Laura and with traffic. I'm back
and still employed.
Speaker 19 (01:13:17):
So John, if you're listening on the plane, it's type
of buddy Laura's community is coming in hot.
Speaker 9 (01:13:21):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
This first story. I think it's really important to talk
about and get the press out there. And I hope
that people in the area hear this and know that
we hear them and we see them. And I understand
that this needs to be investigated. There are serious concerns.
I don't know if you've heard about this, serious concerns
over a number of unusual childhood cancer cases in and
(01:13:49):
around Ladera Ranch. About a dozen rare pediatric cancer cases
have been identified in Ladera Ranch in nearby Orange County communities,
including several cases of wing sarcoma. Federal officials are now
requesting an EPA investigation in the possible environmental factors. The
local homeowner Association is also temporarily I think like sixty
days probably should do it longer, has temporarily paused the
(01:14:12):
use of certain landscaping chemicals while it reviews its pest
management practices. It's just a large number, and I don't
know if it's twelve or five or ten and whatever
it is, but the number of childhood cancers. When you
look at it compared to how many show up on
a regular basis statewide, how many show up on a
regular basis across the country annually, Mathematically, it doesn't add
(01:14:36):
up in Ladera Ranch. It is definitely enough to say,
wait a minute, is something going on here? And I'm
not trying to scare anybody from Ladera Ranch in that area,
but you guys, obviously you already know about this, and
I thought it'd be important as a live local radio
station to publicize this so more people can be aware
of this story and we can try and figure out
what's going on, because I cannot imagine the fear in
(01:14:58):
some of the stuff people are going through and the
tough times a lot of them been going through there too.
Moving on to Mega Millions Mega Millions. No grand prize
winner in last night's Mega Millions drawing, which means at
ten bucks I put in it was wasted. Jackpot now
goes to seven hundred and forty million dollars. Was one
lucky winter in so cal though somebody in Palmdale purchased
(01:15:18):
a ticket that match five of the numbers. They at
seven million. WHOA, Oh, that's awesome. Meanwhile, tonight the powerball
drawing is worth five hundred and seventy million dollars. Jill,
what's training your music?
Speaker 4 (01:15:30):
So it's been almost three weeks since Taylor Swift in
Travis Kelsey's wedding, and there's been so many rumors that
have come out about the ceremony of reception. But now
we're learning a little bit more about the music because
Jason Kelce, Travis's brother, he admitted that Travis and Taylor sang.
They performed to do what at their wedding? He said,
Trav can sing. Travis always been able to carry a tune. Obviously,
(01:15:53):
he pales in comparison to some of the other people
singing that night, but he did. Okay, he didn't say
what song they sang.
Speaker 7 (01:15:59):
We don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:16:00):
This was like a rehearsed performance, or maybe it's just
a karaoke thing, but they sang together. I'm Jill with
their intimid headlines. Okay, I'm Jill filling in for John
with your trending music news.
Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Thank god a chance one thousand bucks coming up a
nine o'clock today, Plus, what did your kid do that
made you think they aren't ready for the real world.
Yet I will say some of this. The onus is
on us as parents, because I will admit as a
helicopter parent, I did so much stuff for Colin, like
I'll just do that. It'd be quicker if I do it.
I'll do this, And I probably should have talked more.
(01:16:32):
I'm in a panic now now, I'm like, this is
how he makes scrambled ecks.
Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
Here you do it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
Let me see you do it. Put a little butter
and you mixed two eggs, a little tash and mill
mix it up. Okay, don't do like more than three eggs.
Are you poop? I don't know.
Speaker 12 (01:16:44):
Just hear you.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
It's ridiculous. I'm in a panic with like weeks to
go try and get my kid ready for the college world. Yeah,
so teach your kids how to do it. So the
onus is on us a little bit. I screwed up.
I get it. What did your kid do?
Speaker 6 (01:16:59):
Though?
Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
They made you think they're not ready for the real world.
Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
Yet, Kelly said, I had to yell at them in
a restaurant. Stop hitting your brother with your corn dog.
Jackie said he put a dish towel in the dishwasher
instead of the washing machine.
Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
That's funny.
Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
And then Jennifer said he packed one pair of shorts
and two and a half pairs of socks.
Speaker 5 (01:17:19):
For a three week vacation.
Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
Love that kid. Positives thinking right there, Olivia Dean so easy.
It's one of four to three maya family. The twist
on the May one of four to three, My fab
it is Valence out in the morning. It's eight thirty.
You guys want to reach out three one o four three.
The topic is why did you realize your kid's not
ready for the real world?
Speaker 4 (01:17:42):
Carrie said, my son left the sink running for over
an hour. He just holds the dishes under the water,
just waiting for everything to slide off instead of using
a scrubber.
Speaker 2 (01:17:52):
These kids, when they take their shower too, like a
forty five minute shower. It is not a spa day.
What is going on in there?
Speaker 3 (01:17:57):
You know?
Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
Kenna said, my daughter still has to hold her hands
out to help her remember which is left and which
is right. And then Terry said, he asked me where
we keep the napkins after I returned from a seven
day trip, I haven't been.
Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Using On the next Valentine in the morning at three
one four three.
Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
All right, eight thirty eight. The weather today hot, sunny,
high's mostly in the nineties, low eighties near the beaches
seventy three now Montes, seventy four and Westminster. Jill's got
the entertainment headlines coming up?
Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
A reboot series of a nineteen eighty seven film is
coming to Amazon. I'll tell you what movie coming up
at eight fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
Hey, Jennifer, how you doing?
Speaker 13 (01:18:35):
Good morning?
Speaker 10 (01:18:36):
I'm good.
Speaker 12 (01:18:36):
How are you guys?
Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
We're doing all right. So what did your kid do
that made you think they're not ready for the real world?
Speaker 17 (01:18:42):
Ask how to microwave food? Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:18:49):
I mean did you show him though? Did you put
it in there on a plate, put a paper towel
over something, did you teach him how to warm food,
of how to use the fifty percent power or all
those things?
Speaker 17 (01:18:58):
Okay, So, like, first of all, have a microwave for
a while, because I was like, you don't need a microwave,
you can eat everything.
Speaker 12 (01:19:04):
Up on the stove. Well, she's scared of the stove
and the oven, and.
Speaker 17 (01:19:07):
So she would never do it. I'm like, okay, so
you could do it yourself. I'm going to get this microwave.
It's going to be great. Because the microwave and I
used it a couple of times. She saw me and
then I got like a frozen meal from Trader Joe's.
I was like, here you go, and she said, how
do I do this? Then I said, you read what
it says on the back and then you do it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, that sums it up right there. I
was gonna come to the kids and fans. I'm like,
you didn't have a microwave. You never taught them. It's
like a kid finding a rotary phone. How do I
work the rotary phone?
Speaker 14 (01:19:36):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
But there are directions on the back of.
Speaker 12 (01:19:38):
The microwave directions.
Speaker 17 (01:19:41):
Yeah, it's very easy. But she still doesn't like to
do it, but she will do it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:46):
How about you make her dinner one of these nice bobs?
Speaker 6 (01:19:50):
Oh my god.
Speaker 17 (01:19:53):
Wait, so she could complain and say.
Speaker 14 (01:19:55):
What is this?
Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
How old is your teen? How old is she? Jed?
Speaker 17 (01:20:01):
She's seventeen.
Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
Oh my god, So you got it. You're probably like me.
The other day I called a column I broke best
friend and people loved it.
Speaker 12 (01:20:10):
That's accurate, so true with teens.
Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
Yeah, all right, Jed enjoy her when she off to
college one more year, so she.
Speaker 17 (01:20:17):
Actually graduated a year early, so now she's going to
be finishing community college and then finishing school for boys
after that.
Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
Good for her. Tell her we said, hello, okay, I
will thanks all right, thanks mom, taking care Bye.
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Bye, readings loved one. Let's take a.
Speaker 2 (01:20:33):
Care one four three my family. It is Valentine in
the morning, eight sixt six, five four to four my
FM texting three one oh four to three. Your kid,
they're not ready for the real world. What did they
do that made you notice that?
Speaker 17 (01:20:47):
Paul?
Speaker 2 (01:20:47):
What's your answer?
Speaker 13 (01:20:49):
Well, I wanted to.
Speaker 18 (01:20:50):
Offer a different perspective because I'm twenty four years old,
but my parents never seem to teach me how to
do laundry. Because the other day I was doing laundry
and I'm washed a red shirt with some white clothes,
and now all I have is pink.
Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Well, it happens, buddy, And you just tell people, Oh,
I like pink shirts. It's my favorite color. I look
at them exactly.
Speaker 18 (01:21:13):
Yeah, at least that's to wear on Wednesdays.
Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
Yeah, right, you're perfectly phony. We're pink on Wednesdays. I
don't know how strong that rule is. Like when I
was younger, when I was living on my own. I
just shoved everything in and just whatever happened to happen.
You know, color white didn't matter.
Speaker 4 (01:21:28):
I didn't care did out okay, or did stuff bleed?
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
That's why we're black.
Speaker 1 (01:21:32):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:21:32):
I wear a lot of darker colors and don't really
worry about that stuff. Paul. Yeah, that's our fault. We
as parents sometimes don't teach our kids enough because we're
always in a hurry to get things done. We're like, oh,
I'll just do it, I'll just do it myself, or
it's easier if I do it, And then suddenly you
blink your kids twenty four and he's got pink shirts.
Speaker 18 (01:21:49):
Yeah, exactly. And it doesn't help that I'm colorblind, so
you know.
Speaker 2 (01:21:53):
Oh, then you don't know what you had. Maybe your
shirt came out fine. Yeah, So what do you if
you're supposed to be looking at red, what color do
you see or is it more gray scales?
Speaker 18 (01:22:04):
It's more like my red cones, But I don't know.
Long story short, when colors are together, I have a
hard time seeing which ones are which.
Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
Okay, you don't be really blue and black sox. Yeah.
Imagine if you were like the guy in charge of
making sure they're making sure thing's turned out right at
the Skittles factory. How that put this guy in charge
of the skittle colors?
Speaker 18 (01:22:26):
Yeah, wouldn't go WELLFM.
Speaker 9 (01:22:29):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (01:22:33):
A Star Wars actor has turned.
Speaker 4 (01:22:35):
Down so many Marvel movies. I'll tell you who it
is right after Laura's Traffic.
Speaker 9 (01:22:41):
One O, four to three my sm entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:22:47):
Kevin Faggy is the head of Marvel Studios, and he
said he has attempted multiple times to bring Adam Driver
into the Marvel Cinematic universe. He's Kylo Run in the
Star Wars universe. Kevin said that Adam has rejected so
many of his proposed Marvel projects that it's almost like
a shared ritual between the two of them.
Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
He said, it's a tradition to.
Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Zoom with him and then he passes, and that's a
long lived tradition. So he says they couldn't be more
cordial with each other. And Adam Driver is usually very
upfront about how he's feeling, but he has rejected him
so many times. And an eight episode RoboCop reboot a
series is coming to Amazon Prime Video. The project has
been in development since twenty twenty two when Amazon acquired MGM.
(01:23:32):
But now we are getting a reboot, a reboot series
coming to Amazon. I'm Jill with Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
What's wrong?
Speaker 7 (01:23:39):
Nothing?
Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
Oh, I'm Jill, Jill. It just sounded like, you know,
this is the Laura Army, the Laura Army, Laura's.
Speaker 5 (01:23:50):
I've been loving it, which is great.
Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
Lower Armies.
Speaker 5 (01:23:55):
I am a member, I have not the president.
Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
Yes, thank you, all right, so that's fair. I'm sorry.
I just I just misinterpreted that. I'm Jill. I felt
that had something behind it, and I know my friend,
I think there was something behind that. All right, I'm Valentine.
What just nothing behind that? Fine? Watch out ginger Chan.
Ginger chain didn't even work for us. We watch out
(01:24:20):
ginger Chan. She's over at KTLA and does the Seacrest
traffic too, But watch out lord. Would you be in
favor of going up like a helicopter doing it?
Speaker 15 (01:24:29):
No?
Speaker 16 (01:24:30):
You sure not that committed?
Speaker 2 (01:24:33):
She did say, like off the air, she told Jill
and I she goes, how many more of these?
Speaker 8 (01:24:36):
So I have to do?
Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
This was just for fun, Ran, because when we have
tomorrow too, you know, they started like five ten in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (01:24:44):
You know, he got such a big reaction.
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
You have to got a great react. You got a
great reaction. I don't know the John Peak reaction yet.
Speaker 5 (01:24:53):
We'll hold for that review, hold.
Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
For that, and we'll see where it goes. One to
four to three my FM, it is Valentine in the morning, Brian.
Anything about your kids, We don't think they're ready for
the real world.
Speaker 3 (01:25:04):
I mean, they're definitely not ready. I haven't they my
young Yeah, my eleven year old son Micah can like
he can warm something up in the microwave.
Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
I think that's great. So that's I think Mike is
gonna be ready. I think Maddix and a Maya are
gonna be different.
Speaker 3 (01:25:23):
Yeah, Maddix, he might live with us forever.
Speaker 2 (01:25:25):
That's why isn't it great? Like one kid, you go, yeah,
I think this kid's gonna live with me forever. And
if you got like lots of kids, people like, yeah,
one's gonna go to jail, one's gonna do this, one's
gonna do that. So when you have one kid, it's
just oh, I just have the perfect kid. Yeah, it's
just one. He's gonna be great. It's gona be wonderful.
I have no idea how my kid's gonna turn out
perfect and wonderful. You think so, yes, thank you. I'm
(01:25:52):
Valentine justin t like the Scribing River. It's my FM.
There's one thousand dollars coming up in four minutes and
forty seven seconds. How long is this song? It's a long.
Speaker 14 (01:26:05):
We didn't cut off the end a little bit when
he's doing that was not for about sixty seconds, So
Crime River and then right into the tributaries, right out
into the delta into the ocean.
Speaker 4 (01:26:21):
One of what to remind them, it's Valentine in the morning.
We have our thousand dollars Phillip going on right now.
Your next keyword is going to be coming up right
at ten o'clock with Lisa Fox. What's your chance to
win one thousand dollars? We could use that right now.
Everything is so expensive. Everything's expensive, right, Everything is expensive.
Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
What would you do with that money? It's one thousand dollars.
I know you'd pay some bills, wouldn't worry about going
out to the grocery store that night, or maybe take
the family out of the dinner. But everything is so
darn expensive, and I don't think they're going to turn
back the clock. I don't think let's say inflation goes
down or economy gets better, whatever it is. I don't
think somebody somewhere is gonna go, we're making twenty bucks
for those apples, let's start charging fifteen. I think people
(01:27:00):
do that when they start making money. Big corporations get
greedy and stuff. You know, Yeah, you're so right. No
one like at iHeart. This is not and we are
a big corporation too, right, and we all have multiple jobs.
No one's gonna say, ah, you know, things are better now.
You don't need to do that anymore. You stop doing that.
Here's less responsibility for you. You think she's getting off
(01:27:21):
of traffic, now she's stuck. She's going to be filling
in for traffic all across iHeart cluster now because she
did so good today. People just they just don't take
stuff back. They always ask for more, you know what
I mean? Yeah, And that's a lesson in life. We
should all keep near and dear to our heart because
the most important thing is your family, your friends and community,
people that you love. And sometimes we do that to
(01:27:43):
them too, We keep asking them for more. But what
are we giving back? Think about that. I brought this
to you in the sense of the economy and how
companies are constantly asking for more and not giving you
more money forward to something or things are more expensive
at the grocery store and everyone asks for more, but
nobody ever gives back. We'll think about that for a second.
What do you ask for and what do you get
(01:28:05):
back to the ones that you love. This message being
brought to by Toyota.
Speaker 19 (01:28:13):
The full size trucks experienced the incredible power and fuel
efficiency with Toyota electrified freezings.
Speaker 9 (01:28:20):
You need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (01:28:22):
Fox and Telemundo just announced it. More than sixty million
people in the US watched the World Cup final. That
means Spain's one to nail victory over Argentina was the
most watched soccer broadcast in US history. Even after Team
USA was eliminated, viewership remained strong throughout the tournament and
it was very funny. I talked about this last time,
but Telemundo. Telemundo saw their ratings increase in English speaking households.
(01:28:45):
Crazy crazy had the numbers went up. People in Ohio
not speaking Spanish, No idea, what's being said as they're
watching Telemundo. But they just love that guy. Loved him, Yeah,
(01:29:11):
loved him, not to love. Congrats to him, that gentleman
whose name I don't have in front of me. The
push to make daylight saving time permanent is moving forward
in Congress. If it passes, that would mean that mornings
would become much darker during the winter. Here's how the
California if this thing goes through in A lot of
you wanted to go through Jills and favor of a.
Brian's in favor Laura. I don't know if she understands it. Yeah,
(01:29:31):
a lot of people in favor of it in La
The latest sunrise of the year in Los Angeles. In
southern California, the sun wouldn't come up at one point
until eight am. Do you want to do you want
sunrise at the O Show? Is that something you'd want?
In certain parts of the country, that sunrise would be nine.
Speaker 3 (01:29:49):
Fifty I don't live there, That's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
The trade off would be an extra hour of evening
daylight during the winter. The bill has passed the House
that still needs Senate approval before it can become law.
We'll see where that happens, or if it does happen
and Jill standing by with the music trending headlines.
Speaker 3 (01:30:09):
That's who they are. It's true.
Speaker 4 (01:30:11):
Yeah, why she laughing at the song? Wonderwall from Oasis
is back on the charts thanks to the people World
Cup becas it has re entered the Billboard Hot one
hundred at number twenty seven after England fans really adopted
it as the team's unofficial anthem throughout the tournament. After
(01:30:32):
their biggest victories, thousands of fans and the team could
be heard belting out this song, which made a lot
of people.
Speaker 7 (01:30:39):
Listen to it again.
Speaker 4 (01:30:40):
Maybe they hadn't heard in a while, But now it
is back at number twenty one or sorry, twenty seven
on the Billboard Hot one hundreds. I'm Jill filling in
for John and that's what's trending in music.
Speaker 2 (01:30:51):
But by now you should have somehow realized what we're
not to do.
Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
I don't believe that anybody I had.
Speaker 2 (01:31:01):
To about you now, everybody, the roads.
Speaker 7 (01:31:09):
You there were winding.
Speaker 2 (01:31:13):
In all the lines and light the way of binding.
Speaker 5 (01:31:19):
There anything said I.
Speaker 9 (01:31:21):
Live saying to you, I don't know how.
Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
What'd you say? What you say? I said, maybe.
Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
You gotta be the one that saves me.
Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
Yo, my wonder say about that traffic. Here's the Brisbane
Biscuit Laura one O four three, My fam, it is
Valentin in the morning. You rap things up around here.
I've been cleaning the studio off and on throughout the
show today. This place is so dirty, it said dirty dirty.
Speaker 4 (01:32:07):
Yeah. When the air comes on, little flakes of dust
playing in my head?
Speaker 9 (01:32:12):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (01:32:13):
What does that? Isn't there a cleaning curse of it?
But they don't do it in here because the equipment
and stuff, they will just touch it. That's all empty,
the trash, that's it. We have a curtain in here
that was blue. Now it's like more whitish because it's
got dust on it. You can run your finger down
this curtain. It's a soundproof curtain that hangs on the wall. Oh,
by the way, if you'd like to come into our
(01:32:34):
studio and sit on the couch, feel free. We'd love
to have you in here. It's a beautiful place and
a wonderful thing to do to be part of the
live studio audience. Reach out the Gill on her Instagram.
But yeah, you can run your finger down that curtain.
Laura has been sitting in John's chair. Do in the
traffic sneezing all morning?
Speaker 5 (01:32:47):
Yep, I truly like I don't think of sneeze as
much of my wall.
Speaker 2 (01:32:51):
So dusty in here, man, we.
Speaker 4 (01:32:52):
Need one of the vacuum attachments to like go up with.
Speaker 2 (01:32:55):
Do you have one at home?
Speaker 1 (01:32:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:32:58):
We do, should bring one in though. Oh okay, we'll
boost you up. Okay, yeah, because I've been over here
cleaning the board, so you know, listen to what you
guys are up to. I'm going to clean this when
we're on vacationing in a clean studio. So because I
know sometimes you get you start spiraling, and I can
see you this morning spiraling. I'm spiraling out of control
with the nastiness of dirt in this place.
Speaker 11 (01:33:18):
Once.
Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
It drives me nuts. Just anybody else like that when
you're cleaning, you just get going and you can't stop.
I'm that guy.
Speaker 3 (01:33:25):
Yes, you are definitely that guy.
Speaker 2 (01:33:26):
I just like and it has to be done right.
Don't give me that BS cleaning job. Oh it's clean,
look at that. No, if you're got to clean something,
do it and do it right. If you're gonna do
something it's worth doing, do it right. The first time.
Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
I'm just give me a chance.
Speaker 2 (01:33:40):
And I've given you a chance before, I know, and
I've let you down.
Speaker 3 (01:33:44):
You know that's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:33:45):
And uh, you don't really clean, you don't. This time,
I really am going to focus, uh huh, and I'm
going to do it. You told me that you were
going to edit the Bailey Littrell interview and I came
into work the next day and it was twenty five minutes.
You hadn't touched it. You don't think that was brought
up in this room.
Speaker 8 (01:34:03):
I forgot about that, Jill, this very moment. Yeah, and
I could see you but holding on to that anger.
Speaker 3 (01:34:10):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 8 (01:34:11):
I'm sorry I did. I did forget. I rushed out
for a little vacation and I left a few things
undone thank you? That make you feel good?
Speaker 2 (01:34:22):
You like that, didn't you? That was good? I put
a smile on her face. The foot, Yeah, how it feel?
How's it feel? I think I forgot about that. But
if you want to follow us on Instagram and do
that to follow Jill on.
Speaker 4 (01:34:34):
Instagram at Jillian Elaine.
Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
You can follow myself at go for Valentine go then
number four Valentine as.
Speaker 9 (01:34:40):
Well one four to three my sm Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:34:44):
Prince Harry was asked who he thinks is the UK's
most famous Harry and he was a little reluctant to
answer it first, but then he said Harry Styles is first,
and then English soccer player Harry Kane comes in second,
and then after a very long pause, Prince Harry said
that he and Harry Potter are tied for third place
and they will have a quidditch off to see who
(01:35:06):
is more famous. And according to oh wait, I don't
want to do that story. Hold on one second. Oh
let me do that because I just I second guessed.
I don't want to say it. Oh there it is,
okay saying no, it's just study that's going to disappoint
a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (01:35:23):
And everything. Okay, we'll cut you off if it's too much.
Speaker 4 (01:35:27):
Too much TV, maybe shrinking your brain.
Speaker 2 (01:35:30):
Oh god, thank god brain.
Speaker 4 (01:35:32):
According to a new study, it suggests that watching TV
a lot. Heavy TV watching can cause significant brain changes
over time. They looked at over two thousand adults around
the age of fifty three and then MRI imaging show
that people who watch TV very often showed tissue loss
in areas linked to vision logic and memory.
Speaker 2 (01:35:53):
That's TV. I get that.
Speaker 5 (01:35:55):
Wow, we love television.
Speaker 4 (01:35:56):
Just make sure it's not a ton. Make sure you're
doing all kinds of things that work your brain, they said,
or problem solving, you know, come back, taking a walk.
Speaker 2 (01:36:04):
Kept back on that.
Speaker 5 (01:36:05):
But nothing about listening to the radio.
Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
Well conversely with radio, they said that actually helps your
brain grow, helps a lot of stuff grow. And they say,
actually TV shrink stuff, radio grow stuff. So any concern
in that area, And it's because the communal feel and
it's a back and forth interaction where TV it's just there.
Speaker 4 (01:36:22):
It is.
Speaker 2 (01:36:22):
You're watching a scripted show, you're watching a documentary, whatever,
there's no back and forth. Radio is real and live
and in the moment, and it's something you feel like
you're in a communal spot with somebody. It's a family,
it's a group of friends with microphones just hanging out
at a breakfast table. That's what we are. So watch
yourself grow when you listen to our show.
Speaker 4 (01:36:41):
Thank you, Jill, I'm Jill with the entertainment headlines.
Speaker 2 (01:36:45):
All right, Brian, thank you show, Thank you for your show.
Toss to you the other room, thank you for your show.
Adam thinking of yours show. Laura, thank you for your show.
Have a great take it out to be the change
in the world that you want to see. Lisa. Fox
Is actually does have a thousand dollars a ten o'clock
that continues all day long. The one thousand dollars, Philip,
come get that cash now. The final check in the
(01:37:05):
morning traffic sitting in for John is the Brisbane Biscuit.
Speaker 19 (01:37:09):
Laura, you guys, this is my retirement party, my farewell,
my traffic tour.
Speaker 5 (01:37:14):
Let's take this in.
Speaker 16 (01:37:15):
Today's being like a movie. I don't know if I'll
be back tomorrow, but let's see. All right, back to business.
Speaker 19 (01:37:20):
In Bakersfield, there's been a work zone near Bear Mountain Boulevard,
both eastbound and westbound, between the I five Highway and
the ninety nine. Looking good, only a four minute delay,
but the bad news is this bad boy sticking around
till six pm. So avoid that if you can, or
if you want to send traffic, go for gold all right.
(01:37:42):
In Fontana, that Sigalette has been canceled near the ten eastbound.
Speaker 16 (01:37:46):
At Citrus ab Woo.
Speaker 19 (01:37:48):
The REMP is open, but we still have an eighteen
minute delay, so hold tight.
Speaker 16 (01:37:52):
My Fontana.
Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Fam.
Speaker 19 (01:37:54):
Lastly, let's have a look at Highland Park. There is
it just says barrel in the right lane. I don't
know if that's an actual barrel, but that's near the
one tenth south before York. There is a fourteen minutes
delay there, so look out for the barrel. I guess,
or let me know what that actually is.
Speaker 2 (01:38:13):
Barrel?
Speaker 16 (01:38:14):
Is it like the way the car moved like barreled?
Speaker 14 (01:38:18):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:38:18):
I think it's probably.
Speaker 16 (01:38:20):
On my traffic career.
Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
If it's a ladder, it's usually a ladder. If it's
a barrel, it's probably.
Speaker 5 (01:38:25):
It's a barrel type of barrel.
Speaker 2 (01:38:27):
Hey, you know what trash barrel, oil, barrel? Who knows?
Speaker 6 (01:38:30):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:38:31):
So report back?
Speaker 16 (01:38:32):
Please report back anyway, guys, that's Laura for Valentine.
Speaker 19 (01:38:35):
The morning traffic. As we say in the traffic industry,
Come on everyone now in Cino Permona. Ooh, I wanna
take your to Corona, mid City. Ooh, I wanna take
you to West harley Wood. We'll take it best and
then we'll take it slow.
Speaker 4 (01:38:53):
Good Night, Los Angeles, Valentine.
Speaker 1 (01:38:57):
