Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning.
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh my God, help us respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
My name is Colin.

Speaker 5 (00:15):
You know, are seeing my daddy Valentine in the Morning
or went off for flee Ma.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Says previously on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
All right, the strangest compliment you ever received.

Speaker 5 (00:28):
Lindsay texted in and said she was told you have
an interesting walk. Tina said, when I went in for
a mammogram, the tech said, well, those held up nicely?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
What does that even mean after they get crushed when
it came out?

Speaker 5 (00:45):
I think maybe because it is, you know, very awkward.
Sometimes I'm sure maybe women have an easier time plopping
it on, But I.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Don't understand what those held up nicely.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Get held up like maybe afterwards, like that's what I'm after.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
They came out.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
That mean sometimes it doesn't hold up nicely, and they.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Hold up nicely and come out square. They come out
like the machine is pushing down right from the top bottom,
I'm assuming, so they come out with lines and.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Marks and like a shelf didn't have lines remarks, but
I felt like as I drove home, they like reformed themselves.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
So it's like it takes a while for the air
to get back in. You get a pump them back
up right like puddy, they're like putty. Oh, they're like
silly putty.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Who is painful? And you're sweating because it's like it's
so uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
You would say they held up nice. It was that
guy tech or females. It mainly guys or women.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I've only had females, right, and you.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Can require the request.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
I'm sure right, I'm sure you could.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, no offense guy that does it obviously.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, it's an intimate experience, right, wow. Okay, well it
at that with Tech.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
That's the last. Yeah, that's you want to read. We're
going out on that note. In my opinion, Yeah, those
held up nicely.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Today's show show starts now.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
One of four three my faminous valence in the morning.
Good morning, Jill, Hi.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Good morning you ready?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yes, World Cup day, let's go, let's go.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Who are we let's going for? Who are you rooting for?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
France? Okay? Yeah? Who are the playing today?

Speaker 6 (02:25):
Spain?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:26):
Yeah, I would go for France, is this possibly the
best game of the entire tournament?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
France? For Spain, It's big, dude, it's big. It's big.
It's very big because these are the top four teams
in Are you paying attention? Oh yeah, look like you're.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I'm fixing my keyboard because it's kind of like a
shaky down.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Anything else to do but listen to this.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
You know, my head down all the dusk?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
All right, definitely rude. I will take the hint. John,
How are you? I'm good man.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You know what I just did yesterday? I just got
Global entry and TSA pre check. I never had that
before in my life. But I flew to Denver not
too long ago, and I got stuck in like a
like an hour long TSA line and I was like,
you know what, that's it? And I just like have
heard that it's such this process to go through and
get global entry and it takes months and YadA. I

(03:17):
was in there for ten minutes in that government office.
Got right out of there. They approved it before I
even got home.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Could you have to go to the airport to do that?

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yes, that part did stick a lot, but it's had
from that. That's the worst thing. That's the worse thing
about it.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Super fast fast. You know why why they want you
out of the country. They gave you global exit.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yeah, well we'll see. We'll see how soon when you
try and enter. Yeah, we'll have to see. But I
just thought that process was so cool. It's it's always
something that everyone else had traveling and stuff, and I
just like never got myself.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
You know, you're gonna love it.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
My god, it's so easy. Yeah, it's pretty cool, right,
how are you?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I'm okay.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
My wife has DSA pre check. I do not, and
she does not wait for me, and she just goes.
There are times, there are times when you get to
TSA Pree and that line looks longer than the ordinary line,
and they'll even tell you the ordinary line is shorter,
go to that one. But people are like, I am
not taking off my shoes. I'm not taking out this
or that I want to go t SA pre because
that says I'm elked.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
And now like you don't even really have to take
your shoes off even in the normal line. No, really,
And like in john wayn which is the airport I
fly to most in Orange County, like the lines are
pretty short there, so it was just kind of feel
like I never needed it.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I've noticed over the years ago different airports have different rules,
like sometimes I take my shoes off in Boston flying home,
but not take my shoes off at l A. I'm
like you, guys, you really need to be on the
same page.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
We feel good because some of the machines you don't
have to take your laptop out, but the brand new
ones you keep them in there because they can read everything.
Oh seriously, So it just depends.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
What's the one where you have to take your pants off.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
That's the that's the special check.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Okay, Oh I almost I almost said something, or to
say it now you have to. I want to write
it down because I write it down.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Audio.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Okay, write it down, hands to the Brian, go ahead,
Brian will decide right now if this can be read
on the air.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
I don't know how to spell it.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Well, that's odd word.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
That's t s a pen check.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
What wait, that's funny.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
It's like pre check, but you take your pants off.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Check hang it out with you guys too much. No, no,
do not put that on us. And you've already taken
credit for it even though you didn't say it. Yeah,
you've taken credit for it. Yes, so that's out there
forever in the podcast, and I will pray for you.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Valentine in the Morning, Valentine.

Speaker 2 (05:34):

friends and family and stuff like that. And you haven't
seen him in ages. That's so cool.

Speaker 12 (06:19):
Yeah, say it's my birth family.

Speaker 13 (06:20):
That's a story for another day.

Speaker 9 (06:22):
So I'm very very happy to be part of their
family of course.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh that's so good.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Did you say your birthday's a story for another day
because our executive producer, Brian Burton doesn't like birthdays.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Okay, sounds great.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
And is that Jill?

Speaker 4 (06:36):
That's me Jill, Hi Hi?

Speaker 14 (06:39):

Yes, another time.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Yeah, okay, got it?

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Okay, sorry, all right, have a great day, guys.

Speaker 9 (06:52):
I appreciate it everything you do.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
All right, thanks for calling. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
By one of four three my family. It is Valentine
in the morning a rally.

Speaker 14 (07:00):
Good morning, Hi, good morning guy.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Are you doing it?

Speaker 6 (07:03):
Really?

Speaker 8 (07:04):
I'm doing great? How's everyone doing?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Okay, what's going on?

Speaker 8 (07:08):
I was just timing in on the World Cup and
how the games are going. How I want anybody else
to win other than Argentina.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Why don't you like Argentina?

Speaker 8 (07:19):
They're just a bunch of pry babies, and I feel
like Messi is the puppet master of everything.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, people are like, you know, here and there and Messi.
You have to like him. You don't like himself. I
don't think my kid respects him, but I don't think
he's a huge lean a Messi fan.

Speaker 8 (07:35):
Yeah, I like him. It's just everything about the Cup.
I feel like Argentina has just ruined my mood.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yeah we're done with that, right, Okay, gotcha. So you're
route for England there and then Francis Spain. Who you
go for there?

Speaker 8 (07:50):
Oh it's tough. I'm going for a friends because of Bape.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, I'm a handsome fan, so I go for him too,
A handsome fan, handsome band, handsome. Oh oh, so he's
gotta use that song we get song. And that's the
team that he normally plays for. Who Frank Boppe the song?

(08:16):
His name is?

Speaker 1 (08:17):
His name is?

Speaker 2 (08:18):
And then Bob got it is the song? I get it?

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Wow, I love it.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
I know, right, France and England would be insane.

Speaker 8 (08:34):
Yes, that's what we're rooting for.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Gotcha? Oh me too? All right, Well, appreciate you calling in.
I thought I had some of the World Cup fans
in the studio. Sad.

Speaker 8 (08:44):
Yeah, I know John's already chucked out.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, but John, just in that moment, knew more than Brian.

Speaker 8 (08:51):
Ye, Brian, your kids play.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Come on, you're right, you know I'm way into it.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
My favorite teams are out though, Brazil and Mexico and Norway.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I liked and I think you were into the ladies
of those countries.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Now.

Speaker 16 (09:04):
I don't know if what I was looking at was
AI or not, but they showed some women in the
crowd for Brazil.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
That was cit it was insane. Swingle er Ai. I
don't know, so beautiful. I don't think FIFA was showing
AI crowd shots. I don't believe anything anymore. How'd you
like the women of Scotland.

Speaker 14 (09:26):
To each his own?

Speaker 2 (09:28):
My god, Brian, there were some hairy legs and I
couldn't sell you. Guys are wearing killed so you don't
know who's what?

Speaker 9 (09:37):
You know?

Speaker 2 (09:38):
All right, derelly, Well listen, thanks for calling in. You
have a great day and enjoy the game.

Speaker 11 (09:42):
Than guys have a great week, all right, you.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Too, one O four three my fan. But it's Valence
out in the morning coming up today in the show.
What do we got? Brian? Okay? Topic tingles, everyone loves it.
Has been getting so fun lately. Then after seven what
was your younger? You never believe about your life now?

Speaker 7 (10:02):
Pre friend Jill It was the fact that she got
a text from a very famous person for my birthday?

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Oh did you really did?

Speaker 14 (10:09):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Did I know that?

Speaker 14 (10:10):
No?

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
I didn't tell any of you guys.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Broadway, No, no, Ryan Cabrer, Yes, but you said you
got a text from a very famous person.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
But like younger me, like high school.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
I think the very I don't even you need the
very like famous person but very fit.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
No, I think very famous, no, very famous.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
What hey, that's my friend, Okay, No, nothing against him.
I like him too, and I've been to his house
and I like the guy who was very talented. You know,
the music career wasn't probably as long as he hoped.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
He's still touring, yeah, I mean, okay, and those shows
sell out.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
They're like a bunch of different like band's pop two k.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
It's uh Chris Orland's bass host. Okay, there's the one
gentleman from l FO that sometimes you were famous.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Yeah, I mean, but you got to do the proble
like and there's one gentleman from la.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
Because the other two sadly passed.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
But can we learn this guy's name of the other
two dance seems like that remember one name one name
to l F I was gone anyway, that's coming up
plus but so hold on, So he actually really texted
you for your we're friends, like, are you a mad

(11:37):
crush name at one point back in the day.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Oh, he was, she knows. I'm sure he just.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Thinks everybody had a crush.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
She knows that so many people did.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
But like, but knowing that so many people did in
the grand public scheme of things, and then knowing that
the girl that's at your house, sitting across the table
from your husband had a mad crush and wanted to
date him at one time. It's different. Well, yeah, it's
very secure and you're both happily married and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
And there's a difference between like genuinely wanting.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
Like a celebrity crush, I think is so different than oh,
that you guys wanted to date in high school.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
I don't know, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Like right, Celebrity crusts are different when they're unattainable, but
yours was attainable. You were in his bedroom peeing. Okay,
what you peed in his bedroom? That's memorable.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Dang.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Okay, I don't in his bedroom.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
And he had to block the door because the door
was broken.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Okay again, I wasn't there. I know that I was there.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
I wasn't there. I wasn't there.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
He was no.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
I went I'm shaggy. It wasn't John. Thank you for
coming in hot now in the morning. Traffic, Yeah, man,
love you. One of four three my VAM. It is
valenty morning, France versus Spain today. Let's go guys, FIFA
World Cup. I'm excited about this. I got France, I

front of us. Way to reach out and be part
of it. Would love you to do that.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
One O four to three ma FM nineties to now.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
It's Valentine in the morning. One O four three my FM.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Right now, Caller twenty is gonna win a four pack
of tickets to see Disney Descendants, Zombies and Camp Rock
World's Collide Concert Tour. It's going to be at the
QA Forum on September thirtieth. My nieces are so excited

But Caller twenty is gonna win right now. Eight sixty
six by four four six nine.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Three six.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
One a four three, My fam it is Valencide.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
In the morning, I think I have cyclospora.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Get out.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
I woke up this morning and my stomach was making
the craziest noises and I thought, oh no, and then
there was some pain and I thought.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Oh gosh, what have you eaten recently?

Speaker 4 (14:19):
I got a sandwich yesterday from a shop done that.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
I had some greens on that, dude.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
I made fish tacos last night, right, and I made
fish tacos, And usually I buy like shredded cabbage, tredded lettuce,
something like that. No, I got a head of cabbage myself,
took off the outer leaves, washed it, and slice and
dice that myself. I was messing around with prepackaging because
it's handling. Handling is where you get stuff, right, That's
where other people's hands come to contact with your food,

(14:45):
and that's where parasites whatever can get passed around. So
by just buying it one head of whatever doing it myself,
I cut down in the handling smart Yeah, and the
exposure to bacteria because like when you have a burger,
you should cook those well because that meaning side's been
exposed to bacterian air. When you buy a muscle steak,
you can keep it a bit more rare because that
inside has been exposed to bacteria air.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
I know you mean that because on my way in
this morning, I like felt some weird things in my stomach.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Guys, if you poop your pants in here, I will
be peased to both of you. You know that is
the thing. There is no other thing if you poop
your pants on that chair, but I will, Yeah, I
know where it comes from.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
I just still want it as my friends, though you
can never bring it up again.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
You're on the radio. If you poop your pants on
there with it.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Actually as you as our friend, you should know, there's
no way we're not talking about There's.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Just no Jill, if you have whatever this thing is
that's going around, you're gonna poop your pants in the
studio and we're gonna have to go. Jill went home. No,
we're not gonna get a Hazmac crew and here's gonna
be worse nothing in the one on one.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
I got so scared about this too that I literally
went on the CDC website this morning and started like
looking up that.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Hell's wrong with you? Guy, you know what to look for,
so you don't have to free Okay, here's what you
look for. You poop your pants. No, that's not true
really what they say.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
It's because they're saying it could be a regular food
born illness, so like it's hard to tell whether or
not it's just like regular food poisoning or whether it's
the cyclist.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
No, I'm not saying that you're still pooping your pants,
but you can poop your.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Pants and it may not be cyclist. Oh your pants,
sometimes it's pretty close. It can't have spicy things during
the week.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
Don't we have stomach issues?

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yeah, on this side of the council here, my I
woke up.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
My husband to tell him this morning, and he's like, Jill,
if you ate it yesterday, it's gonna come in a
couple of days. It's not overnight, like right.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
They're saying that's one of the things. It can take
up to two weeks to find, and that's why it's
so up to two weeks. They say two days to
two weeks, but it's typically about one week. And that's
why they're having a problem and figuring out where it's
coming from, because in weeks, gosh, crazy.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Just gave me hands.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
You guys, so it happens, you have to stay my friends.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
And it can happen one of us. It's going to
be your friend. But if you do it in the studio,
be peeved. Especially this early warning system that you feel
like you have it. I'll say this too, Joe, what
is that symptom wilbur Please?

Speaker 1 (17:11):
So your typical stomach bug is going to last one
to three days. So they say if it lasts longer,
then you should go into the doctor and then they
can check you for this cyclist Gosh, and you have
to a sample probably, so just sit on a But
I don't know how to do it. That's say, well,
it's projectile grabs it. Oh god, you've had to do

(17:31):
it before?

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Get the sample? Yeah, a couple of times.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Okay, it's probably not that hard. You put something over
your bowl? How do you put a paper plate instead
your toilet? Did you put it in the backyard and
just go squad on? That's what you did?

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
What part of this conversation says I'm a lady with
guys my pants. I just took like kids in school,
they don't need this, you know, Oh, this is what
the kids are talking. This is what the kids want
to hear, this kind of conversation they want to hear.
But this, this is what John people wants to hear. No, definitely, not,
definitely not it's current, we're live, local, we're in the

(18:15):
now or my FM. This proves we are a fully
live show because we're not talking about something else.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Luckily, so far it's just been weird noises.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Good Again, have people said that symptomatic the weird noises?

Speaker 1 (18:27):
And no, the hallmark symptom is the one that we
all know. Okay, just bam, explosive, just.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
It hits your hard and fast. But also, do you
feel anything for the top end, because this is both.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Yes, I refuse, I refuse to end.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
I don't know if I can talk myself.

Speaker 5 (18:43):

Speaker 6 (27:51):
Mm?

Speaker 2 (27:54):
But it's because of dangerous rip currents. Rip currents are dangerous.
That's why they're aptly named that. Did you know that?
They're called rip because a lot of people don't make
it through. That's why you called a rip current. Yeah,
it's an R I P and very large waves too.
Don't google that, Joe, No, that's true. No rip currents.

(28:15):
You get stuck of those. Look out if I google
this and I don't even listen. It's true. But there's
also a slight chance of thunderstorms even lightning along some
LA County Beaches lifeguards say, if you're going swimming, stay

Speaker 6 (30:18):
That I have kids now and I actually like them
and enjoy having them around.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
So younger you didn't want kids.

Speaker 6 (30:26):
Not at all at all. I didn't like them. I
saw kids around me and I was like, yeah, no,
not having them ever, Yeah, buzz.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Killed What young are you? What age was that where
you said no, I don't want kids? Where you looked
around and said that, oh.

Speaker 6 (30:43):
From since I was a teenager till maybe twenty five.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Okay, yeah, no, I get it. I get it. You
get your life in front of you and you think
the kids are like gonna like slow you.

Speaker 12 (30:52):
Down or yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
Yeah, but now that I have them, they're my world

Speaker 6 (31:30):
We get all the seasons here, which is nice, and
gas is like three dollars, which is cool.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Yeah, but let me ask you this. I think, do
we have more bears than you?

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Yes, we have no mountains over here.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
Look at that, we got the bears in your face.

Speaker 14 (31:48):

would be shocked to know that you have kids in
that wild shocked.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
Yeah, I love it so much, and I wish I
would have had them sooner.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Yeah, I wish I had kids sooner too. I wish
we had more. But it was just life where ivy.
So that's how it was for me. But I guess
with women it's different because you're thinking about that because
obviously you can have kids. You physically you have kids. Yeah,
I don't think I thought about it that much of
my twenties. I don't think I even thought about kids,
you know.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Yeah, it was like ever since I was young, I thought,
oh I'm gonna be a mom, that's it really gonna
get married and have a mom. In my mind, it
was in my twenties. Yeah, of course it's not right,
but yeah, it's just something that we always think about.
I thought, you know, it just.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Wasn't top of mine for me, you know, because I
was also thinking, I have to get a girl to
want to do something with me. Oh, and you have
to do that before you and get to the kid part.
So I was just like I was concerned about that
same shocking that that happened. What shocking that? What happened
that a woman wanted to be with you?

Speaker 4 (33:11):
Oh you're talking about yourself?

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Oh wow, Oh my god, what I was talking about myself?

Speaker 2 (33:24):
I was, And now you feel bad. You made fun

to your family.

Speaker 14 (33:40):

Speaker 4 (33:40):
Okay, what did I do to you?

Speaker 2 (33:46):
But it seemed very like real, like that was pent
up frustration where something just kind of comes out. You go, oh,
there's something else beneath that, don't you think. I mean, yeah,
you guys are so traumatic.

Speaker 14 (33:58):
We are not.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
A girl got with you? What God's to you?

My younger me would be shocked with me having colored
hair piercings, tattoos.

Speaker 14 (35:12):
All the galore.

Speaker 11 (35:14):
But I think one of the things that my younger
self would have been so proud is like me as
an adult, she would have felt safe with me and
like enjoyed life and all that good stuff.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
So younger you would feel safe with the adult you. Yes,

proud of you, Like that's that's what we could all
hope for.

Speaker 11 (35:47):
Oh yeah, one hundred because I'm like, I put in
the work to get to where I am today mentally
and emotionally, you know, and so it's super cool seeing that.
And she wouldn't believe, like, oh my god, I have
three dogs. Like that's the fun part too.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
I think younger me would be like, how did you
get such a hot wife? Move on? So when the
person says you gotta move on. You gotta move on.
It's time to forgive and forget. Never forget. Christina, Thank

be like, do you tell people to make it a

from behind like walls and doors going pre st number one,

our boss and the inner workings of iHeart and stuff.

wanted to give me a clue, you know, but yeah,

Speaker 4 (38:55):
Did you stay best friends all that time up until
twenty sixteen?

Speaker 10 (39:01):
No, we actually lost touch after high school and I
got married and when I was getting divorced, I put
on Facebook like, hey, anyone have a truck? I need
help moving out, and he responded, he showed up, he
helped me move out, and then two years after that
we actually started dating. And now it's been almost ten
years and we're getting married.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
What's his first name?

Speaker 14 (39:24):
Robert?

Speaker 1 (46:02):
She got her in some real trouble. And I'm curious stitches, stitches.
You won't catch me snitching on something like this, but
it is illegal. So I'm curious what point you would
snitch on a friend.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Oh, she's snitching already.

Speaker 9 (46:15):
I know.

Speaker 4 (46:15):
I'm already made up my mind.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Yeah, she's a total snitch. She's a rule follower.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
Would you snitch on someone like for speeding if you could?
No speeding, So there's a line no.

Speaker 5 (46:24):

them you need to slow down. But I wouldn't snitch.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
I want to find Jill's line.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
What if if you knew somebody's cheating at work with something,
would you snitch? Yes, you would. What if you know
that somebody who's having an affair, would you send an
email to their spouse?

Speaker 1 (46:43):
That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
Just snitch that one? Or would you say that involved?
So it's like two friends.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
You got two friends, okay, both of my friends through.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
Your acquaintance's friends, whatever, and one stepping out on the
other and you know it, you catch them or something

Speaker 2 (47:00):
Say, you need to tell and were they gonna no,
I'm not gonna do it.

Speaker 4 (47:03):

the losing team will play for third place. The match
starts at noon. You can listen live on the free
iHeartRadio app. It is so so good. But the game
tomorrow Argentina in England. Now England wins that England plays
probably France. In my best guess, we have to all

(54:20):
root for France because in the two hundred and fiftieth
year of our independence, we can't have England win. Dude,
the world show, you know what I'm saying. France was
our ally in the Revolutionary.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Thanks for the Statue of Liberty. Appreciate that exactly.

Speaker 14 (54:41):
So.

Speaker 2 (54:42):
I mean they're nice folks, the English and everything. But
you know, anyway, John, what's training you meself?

Speaker 1 (54:47):
Well, our boy Noa Cohn just made some history this week.

(55:53):
next Kimucha's Core. At what point do you stitch in
a friend for committing a crime?

Speaker 1 (55:58):
Tamara just snitched on her friend, and I'm curios if
you do the same thing. If this is a big
enough crime for you to snitch on, don't get.

Speaker 2 (56:08):
Honestly, gosh, he says, Hey, serious question. Well, the thirty
seconds before air, he goes, serious question, do your ears
fit in the headphone hole?

Speaker 6 (56:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (56:19):
I was just curious, you know, because my ears fully
fit inside my headphone hole and had super comfortable, but
that he was looking at Brian and like, I think
he has larger ears than me.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
Do you have large ears?

Speaker 6 (56:29):
Well?

Speaker 2 (56:29):
I fit in the headphone home.

Speaker 16 (56:30):
Truth is John has tiny ears. That's another thing I
do normal size. That's why I was wondering if this
is just a meaning experience. Yeah, like, does everyone's ears
fit inside your headphones? I can't see inside my hole.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
You can feel your ears.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
I can feel my ear, but I honestly can't tell
you if that's in the hold or not.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
Is it pressing your ear against your head?

Speaker 2 (56:48):
Well, the headphones are snug on my head. I can't
tell if my ear is in the hole or not.
I feel you're playing along at home. These are MDR
seventy five or sixes from Sony that we have on
our heads.

Speaker 4 (57:00):
You know, the cushion going around my ear.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
I don't know you have. Do you have bigger ears?

Speaker 4 (57:04):
They're good for my head?

Speaker 2 (57:05):
Yeah? I think you're Yeah. I think they're fitting in
your hole?

Speaker 4 (57:08):
Yeah, mine are fitting.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
So we're gonna do Komucha's court. But to your headphones,
cover your ear does your ear fit in your headphone hole?

Speaker 1 (57:19):
I did say it off the air.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
Yeah, but you've been on the show for like how
many years? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Sometimes finally you just want to ask us about the
headphone hole.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
It's very strange to me. All right, Kuch's court. Here
we go, reach out three one O four three. If
you've got a comment.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
All right, let's hear from Tamara today. She says, Hey, guys,
my friend Carrie has been shoplifting for years. Not because
she needs to. Her family's got money, she's got her
own job. She can absolutely afford anything that she's taking.
She just does it for whatever reason. Every time we
go shopping together, she'll slip something small into her bag, candy, accessories,
maybe some makeup, random stuff. I've told her over and

(57:55):
over that she's eventually going to get caught, but she
always laughs it off and says that stores expect something anyway.
So last weekend we were at Target together and I
watched her do it again. At this point, I was
just over it, so while she was in another aisle,
I quickly went over and told an employee what I
had seen. A few minutes later, store security stopped her
as she was leaving and she ended up getting banned

(58:16):
from the store, and the police came. As far as
I know, there weren't any criminal charges, but it was
a huge deal. And now she's furious. She says I
betrayed her, she humiliated her, handled it in the worst
way possible. But I've warned her repeatedly she kept doing it,
sooner or later she was going to get caught. Anyway.
Am I the jerk for telling a store employee that
my friend was shoplifting and got caught and getting her caught.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
I wouldn't have done it. I would have just said,
this is not the friend I want to hang out with.
There's something like that, the company you keep type thing.
But how does she know that she was the one
that darks in her? I mean, I'm sure she told her.
She seems to have no issue knowing that with anyone
knowing that she's the snitch here. Oh god, I would
have done it on a DL. You know, if I
was snitching, I I wouldn't take credit to her taken ownership.

(58:59):
I wouldn't take ownership. But oh my god, somebody snitched
on you. Oh my god, there's cameras everywhere snitch on her.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
Though you just keep it.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
How much shoplifts against you's done?

Speaker 1 (59:08):
She said she's been doing over the years, but it's
usually candy, small things, make up or whatever.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Yeah, I would just figure car was gonn get her,
She's gonna get caught. You know, I wouldn't have snitched.
I'm like, that's whatever. But I'm not gonna be tight
friends with somebody who keeps shoplifting. I'm like, you know,
what are you doing? Come on?

Speaker 4 (59:24):
See now?

Speaker 5 (59:24):
I love watching the videos on TikTok of target who
get caught and then they go into the back little
room and then the police come.

Speaker 2 (59:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (59:32):
I love it because I I love your friend, my friend.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
Yeah, I would you just snitch on gen TeV.

Speaker 4 (59:40):
Since she's done it for years.

Speaker 5 (59:42):
Shopping for my best friend was shopping shoplifting for years.

Speaker 4 (59:48):
I would secretly go to an employee.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
A secret snitch, and it's like a secret shop are
just different.

Speaker 5 (59:56):
I would feel horrible once the cops arrived, and the
guilt I would have would be insane, like I would be.

Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
So I would hate that. I'd hate the guilt and
then I would stop shopping.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
With her after that, right, See that's crazy because to me,
I would just stop shopping with her like I would
no chance, no chance, Like do I think it's wrong?

Speaker 13 (01:00:16):
For sure?

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
I would not stop shopping with you, Like I'm gonna
draw that line for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
There's a line for you on the snitch though, too, right,
there's a point where you would snitch on somebody.

Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
Yeah, I mean if you commit, like you know, physical
harm to somebody, yes, of course. Yeah, but like that
line is pretty far down the rest help everybody, I
mean pretty close. Like if it's my best friend, yeah, sure,
what about you.

Speaker 7 (01:00:36):
I have been in this exact scenario, way best friend
in the world. I watched him shove a blue ray
of Pirates of the Caribbean in his pants and I
did not. It was in the mid two thousands and
they were very popular.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Okay, say your name out loud in the counter. Three
if you've ever shoplifted, okay, ever shoplifted? All say your
name in the counter three one two three Brian Valentine.
It was a pimple cream, clear cel tinted pimple cream
at a store called Coldors. Years ago. I had a
very big pimple and I was too embarrassed to buy

(01:01:13):
the pimple cream, and I pocketed some clear, cel, tinted, tinted.
Oh wow, Benzel Proxi had ten percent.

Speaker 6 (01:01:21):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
It was cranked up stuff back then. Pimple cream would
you steal? It was a butterfinger from Sheets. I split
it with Nick zimney Che in the mid nineties. There's
also an allegation that I used to bring up my
rusted potatoes as normal not organic. Oh wow, that was
an allegation that was unfounded. That was no, that was checkout.

(01:01:44):
I'm doing their work for them. Come on, let's hire checkers.

Speaker 3 (01:01:48):
Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
All right. The weather today hot, humid, highs nineties and
triple digits, upper seventies through the beaches seventy two, Piker
of Era seventy three and Westminster. But they talked about
like riptides and extremely high serve and stuff. So if
you go to the beach, just don't go in the water.
So that'll help out. John. We're gonna get back at
the Comuch's court. But first, she's got a tease of

(01:02:13):
the entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 5 (01:02:15):
There's a new competition series coming to Netflix based on
a classic board game.

Speaker 4 (01:02:22):
I'll tell you which one coming up at eight fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, John Cammu's court, little reset please Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
So Tamara has noticed that her friend carries shoplifts. She
does it all the time, little things. So last time
they were at Target, Tamra reported her got the cops
involved as she had jerk for that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
What do you think, Max, No, not a jerk.

Speaker 15 (01:02:44):
And I would also take your position and that you
wouldn't be friends with someone who does that and sort
of like And on another note, John's right about the headphones.
As someone who's in TV and high school, in college,
you you will wear headphones that do not fit exactly
one time before you go get your own, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
I don't think my ears go in the hole.

Speaker 15 (01:03:08):
Bigger ones.

Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
I can't cause these are big. Do you know if
you work in the industry, you know they're like Sony
md R seventy five or six is or the similar brand,
and they're just very much industry standard. And my my
ear has been shoved in that hole so many years.
We can get your new earths. You got larger ear pads. Yeah,
I got separate earpads, But why you.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Have tiny ears because I don't know before there to.

Speaker 15 (01:03:31):
Get two I f B type earbuds and then get
a connection Okay, do you use and then use a microphone?

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
Do you think that iHeart can afford I f b
s and inner ears and all those things.

Speaker 15 (01:03:45):
One radio media company in the country. They got to
take care of their people.

Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Yes, they do. They take care of their people who
are their most important people.

Speaker 15 (01:03:57):
And the people who make the money are the ones
who are on the radio. You gotta everyone happy.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Right, And if you were in charge, I get it,
we'd have inner ears and we'd all look really cool,
the diphies and everything else, you know, and we don't
want an iphi tho. John Peak's going to be in
the room going, here's an I f E.

Speaker 15 (01:04:14):
You can just still use it as an earbuddon. It
doesn't have to function as way.

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Off track, who's that? Off the air.

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
For the podcast? Max?

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Max, you're the best buddy. Where do you What do
you do in the industry? Where do you work? Oh?

Speaker 15 (01:04:30):
I'm not in it anymore. I'm in travel and risk management.
I h but I went. I was in TV all
through high school and through college.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Gotcha? Okay? Mom man, Well, I appreciate you calling in.
Thank you very much for that. A nice chatting with you.

Speaker 15 (01:04:44):
Thank you you too.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
All right, take care, Nalda, good morning.

Speaker 14 (01:04:49):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
Is she a jerk for reporting her friend for shoplifting?
Yes or no?

Speaker 9 (01:04:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (01:04:55):
I think so.

Speaker 15 (01:04:55):
I don't snitch.

Speaker 2 (01:04:57):
Yeah, you're the stitches get stitches.

Speaker 14 (01:05:00):
Yeah, you know what, I just I don't like it.
I don't like people snitching. I even taught my kids
that they don't snitch, like they used to do that
when they were little kids.

Speaker 9 (01:05:08):
And it's like, you know what, if you can a snitch,
get outside, I don't want.

Speaker 14 (01:05:12):
I don't like snitches the time.

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
When stitching is right though, if somebody is doing something
that could be hurting somebody else or causing problems. Listen.
I'm not a snitch either, but I think there are
just saying stitch to get stitches. We all joke about that.
I think there's a time when coming forward is appropriate,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 14 (01:05:33):
Now, Jill made an important point.

Speaker 15 (01:05:36):
I would approach.

Speaker 14 (01:05:37):
I would approach the person first if that was a
friend of mine. I mean, I have friends that do
some silly things, and yeah, I got bail money ready for.

Speaker 15 (01:05:45):
Him just in case.

Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
You're a good friend.

Speaker 14 (01:05:49):
Yeah, but Jill said, you know what, I'd let her
know first, like, you know, you keep doing this, and
then I would say I'll go on ahead and and
take care of the situation. But you know what, you
keep doing that. I'm gonna let the storm note. But
I would at least let her know ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
You gave her a heads up, right, Yeah, would friendship
anyway at that point. But also it's a company you
keep his important life.

Speaker 5 (01:06:15):
I think that saying you were right, val, you wouldn't
stay friends with I agree with that, and I would
not stay friends with someone who does that. That's fine,
no loss there.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
All right, Yeah, good stuff.

Speaker 9 (01:06:34):
I'll love you guys.

Speaker 14 (01:06:36):
You guys get me awake in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Oh, thank you, thank you. How big are your ears?

Speaker 9 (01:06:42):
Oh? You know what, I was actually thinking about commenting
on that, even though you know, but it's like the
pocket is it should be big enough, and I'm sure
yours is, so.

Speaker 14 (01:06:55):
That means it's big enough.

Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
Yeah, now my ears. We looked at him off the
air and stuff, and John really got in there and examine,
and my ears are bigger than the ear hole in
the headphones that we wear because we don't have like
air pods or something like that, and we don't have
those like inners that you see on the Seacrest team
and stuff and those other fancy people. You just have big.

Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
Headphones, bigger than us. This isn't just a radio issue.
Are really over the ear headphones, big heads.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
So you're saying that you've got to get bigger adapters
or something to get your ear in the ear hole.

Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
John, it sounds very uncomfortable if your headphones have to
smush your ear between the headphones in your head. So
if you can get bigger ear holes, and I suggest.

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
You doing so, I do have bigger ears.

Speaker 15 (01:07:35):
It's really nice.

Speaker 14 (01:07:35):
Change get uncomfortable. Well, yeah, you're comfortable if you have
to wear them for a long time. And you guys
do we do? We do?

Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
So I demand now that John p get me a
bigger hole. Okay, thanks, have a great day.

Speaker 14 (01:07:52):
People.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
I love you all, love you too, Thanks very much.
