Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning,
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Oh my God, help us respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Now Friday, folks, you made it to Friday. Good morning, John,
how are you.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
I'm a little bit tired. Stayed up late for that
Taylor Swift premiere last night and.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Oh man, like talking about I just figured you guys
would cover it. I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
We all we all knew that we were not. You
did stay up. Yeah, come on, all right, okay, I.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Made sweet love to my path machine.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
On your face.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Well yeah, well aware, And we also have one of
those things now, you guys are of course he does
yet does he put water in his like distilled water?
Oh yeah, yeah, hit the button and.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Yeah like gurgling.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I have to get up in the middle of the night
because the thing's trying to drown me.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Like what the hell that sounds it's.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
In It doesn't always happen. It's humidity level and the machines,
I guess, because you don't want to dry nose or whatever,
and God forbid you open your mouth mine's a nasal.
Once it's run into the nose, the you open your mouth,
the air goes in that circle. It's like a wind tunnel.
So come out of your mouth like so that would
dry you out. You're not supposed to open your mouth,
but I'm not using his hostage tape the close my mouth. No,

(01:19):
that's too many sleep sleep things right, sleep things to man. God.
I watched a friend of ours who does a radio
show in Phoenix one time, John Jay Rich over there
and one of the guys has like a sleep thing
this whole process. He had a sleep apnea machine that
was crazy. He had a like a red light mask.
He showed his nighttime thing. I'm like, dear god, dude,

(01:43):
it's like an hour and a half to get to
bed with everything he had to do. His magnesium rubs.
Does it right? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Man, I started using sometimes when I couldn't fall asleep.
You use a magnesium three and eight mix that in
some water, dude.

Speaker 6 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
My intern is said I could take magnesium to the
problem is with me, I stay up late because my
kid at soccer most of the time, and we'll be
eating dinner at like nine thirty at nights sometimes.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Then you'll be groggy if you do right.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
And then I've got you know, big food, belly and
stuff going to bed.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
The other night you called me and you said that
you were headed home to make dinner, and I was
walking up my stairs to go to bed.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, that's probably leaving the memory care center because my
mom's so have so many like we all do, so
please don't take this for anymore. So many stressors and
polls on my lifetime commitments and stuff. Some of them
are wonderful time commitments, but they do take up time,
and within that you lose some sleep, you lose some exercise,
you lose some positive eating, you know, all those things.
So I don't want to be on the sleep AFNE

(02:46):
machine forever. So if I get my weight down, maybe
that goes away. But I I've only been doing it
like three or four nights, really religiously. I haven't felt
a difference. The machine says I'm making a difference, But
the machine might be lying to keep its job, you
know what I mean? Because you had two point five
apnea events per hour last night, Like.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Oh, is that good?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I don't know. Apparently under five is considered good. You've
been treated treatments working under five.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Oh that's good then, but what does that mean?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
So like still per hour and go gasping free air
or something. Yeah, that doesn't sound good. Do you guys
ever film yourselves?

Speaker 7 (03:22):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Do you have ring cameras?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
None? In the bedroom, in the living room.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Do this. It's a fascinating social experiment for yourself. You'll
never share this with anybody. Don't do it to night
when you guys have anything going on, obviously, but just
put the ring camera on you when you go to bed,
and then you can see in the morning all the
movement you made, if you did snore, if you did
do something weird, if you got up and sleep walk
or something. Yeah, it's fascinating. I did it before, and

(03:51):
I was like, oh my god, what is that be neat?

Speaker 7 (03:53):
I always closed the little shutter thing, privacy shutter, and
I know that something's about to happen in the living room.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I feel in the living room.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
Yeah, I feel like anybody could happens in the living room,
in every room.

Speaker 8 (04:06):
Are you my wowit in our couch.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
I feel like anyone could just like join in.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
You know what, that's the whole separate thing.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
How did you go from my sleep after problems to this,
I just.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Thought of fielding yourself while you sleep.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
The only ring can we have in the house is
in the living room, and so then I started think
about the little shutter and then like I feel like people,
if you have like hackers, can join the Wi Fi.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
And then all of a suddeny're watching us on the
ring and.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
You think they're joining in, joining in. You get they're
sitting there giving you like, go for a jail.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
You got this?

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Oh, I just don't want any anybody like screen recording
or anything.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Or watching or watching.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, probably can, I wouldn't be surprised.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
That's what worries me.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Well, how do they know who to join in?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Well, they just joined a bunch of peopleuntil they see something.
Hold on, hold on, let's hold on this one for
a secon.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Hey, guys, we get this girl in a Redlands riverside
whatever on riverside and she got something going on. Everybody
tune into this one. I'm gonna stream it on twitch.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
And then sometimes you know it's improm two and so
you're not planning for it.

Speaker 7 (05:14):
So then like a couple seconds and I'm like, hang on,
then I waddle.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
You waddle the camera. Wow, I don't think anybody wants
to tune in and watch you waddle on a Friday. Honestly, gosh,
are you in good bruh?

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Really great?

Speaker 5 (05:35):
All right?

Speaker 1 (05:36):
One O four three my FM.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
One O four three, maya fam it is Valence. In
the morning, I said something that started a massive, massive
conversation in the room a second ago. Uh, some of
you know my belly buttons cold? What is that?

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Are you sure you want to say that as we die?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
No? I think I dropped a piece of that apple
I cut up down my something's cold. Oh there's a
metal piece. Look at that. There's a metal piece underneath
my sweatshirt and it's cold.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Half an apple?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Shut up. Disregard the last ten seconds. And in playlog
now so I mentioned that I've been laying off the
alcohol to see if it would make a difference in
my weight and everything else. It made like a five
pound difference in the weight. But I feel like my
face is less flushed and stuff like that, and it
helps to like little rosation stuff. So not the most

(06:33):
life changing thing, but I also believe that I've had
more of a mental clarity in recent months that I've
had before. I was never like, but there seems to
be a bit more of a sharpness, more of a
mental clarity than in the past. Yeah, And there was
a comment about the intelligence in the room, and one
of the comments made was is val the smartest in
the room? And I said, my gosh, no, no, We're

(06:55):
all smart each and everywhe us in our own way.
Then Brian decided to try and rank people based on
smartness in the room by intelligence. Intelligence is very subjective
a certain times. You know, sure two pless two is four.
But if you're writing an essay about something that's a
bit more subjective, you know, as you break things down.
So Brian, you were ranking people in the room based
on their intelligence.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yeah, I do think you're the smartest.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Then I think John Camucci comes in next, and then
maybe Laura after that.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
That was the first problem you made when you first
did the rankings. You went, you went me, John Kimmucci,
Jill after John, then you and then Laura said a minute,
where am I? Yeah? Then you had to readjust so
what is your now current ranking of intelligence?

Speaker 8 (07:40):
This is this is the ranking of intelligence. Okay, Valentine
the smartest, Then comes John Camuci, Then probably comes Chill.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Then Laura and then me, and I'm way way down
at the bottom.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I love the probably comes chill and he puts himself in.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
The bottom so it can make No, that's actually a
smart thing to do.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
That's why maybe you're not on the bottom because you
don't want to be underestimated or overestimated.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Right, So you just lost a notch John, your rankings
of intelligence.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
And smart enough not to do that intelligence Cort, I think, well.

Speaker 7 (08:11):
Can we just can we like explain what we're talking
about when it comes to intelligence.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
So true, I think I'm very.

Speaker 7 (08:18):
Intelligent when it comes to emotional feelings when it comes
to life experiences like but when it comes to book smarts,
when it comes to world events, when it comes to politics.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Let's just say this overall general intelligence, so you're encompassing
all areas of the person's intelligence, right, Okay, so you
can down everything just overall intelligence.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
Your rankings right ahead, Okay, I'd say vowels number one.
I want to say John and I are tied for second.
Then I would throw Then I put that's true.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
I'm happy that I know that I'm dumb.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
It's a good thing to know, to be aware of
the happiest person is a village idiot. I couldn't do
your microphone your rankings of intelligence. You go right ahead.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
So this is the thing.

Speaker 9 (09:06):
I think Val is way above us, Like I think
he's up on the level ten.

Speaker 10 (09:11):
I'm then gonna put John. I'm gonna take him down
with the four of us. Maybe I've missed some correspondence.

Speaker 9 (09:30):
I think Brian is marking himself harshly, I think, and
maybe putting us on a better stool that we're not
in saying that I am a big believer and my
fiance works in comedy, that the funniest people you know
are actually the smartest. To be able to be witty
and quick is a very hard skill. So I'm going

(09:51):
to bring us all up to maybe a seven and
then vowls at a ten.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Okay, I got that. Yeah, I like that a lot.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I'm going to rank now A is Albert Einstein guy?

Speaker 2 (10:04):
All right, listen, if you want to put me on top.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Are you at the top?

Speaker 2 (10:09):
No, No, listen, you've all done it. So if you
take the average, there you know I'm at the top.
Whatever mine. I think Brian needs to come up, absolutely,
Brian needs to be higher. I'm gonna pull a little
Laura to number two. Laura gets my wit and sometimes
says some stuff. I'm like, oh my gosh, right there,

(10:30):
right there, I'm gonna put Jill right behind Laura.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Okay. Then I'm gonna pull in Brian and John nice
very close tie. One of them is leading above the other.
I'm not gonna say who depends on the day. I know, no,
maybe you're leading above him, doubt. The only reason that
I don't give john a higher mark is because wait.

Speaker 7 (10:56):
What, there's sometimes when Johnson says something and I'm just.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Like whoa, and I have to stop.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
I like to use Elon Musket as an example there,
because he's not, like, socially the most intelligent guy.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
He's on the spectrum. I believe he has Asperger's.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
You're very good socially, so you can't use as you're
a social butterfly. Dude.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Well, but that's the thing though, there are so many
different forms of intelligence. And I always like to think
back to what's that movie Everything everywhere all at once,
and like the one of the main characters in the movie,
he's the dad, and they claim almost that he is
the village idiot because he's always the kind one. He's
always like the one who just believes in life, okay,
And they think he's like not a warrior for that.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Sometimes and he's like, no, like that that is.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
My fight, like understanding where the world is and still
never losing my sight of who I want to be
through that.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
And I always thought that was so interesting.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Number two are close to check GPT away the way once.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
We're all smart in our own way.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Exactly three my FM listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio
app one O four three. My fam made his valance
in the morning. Mallory, Yes, how are you? What's up? Mallory?

(12:16):
How are you?

Speaker 11 (12:16):
I'm good, I'm good. I talked to you guys at
least like once a year. I've been a long time listener,
so it's good to chat with you again.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
All right, So once a year check mark for Mallory
check in once a year. I love it.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Mallory.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
What's going on today? Man?

Speaker 11 (12:29):
Oh, I've been doing a lot of uber driving, taking
a little break and having a snack and got a
text from you guys and happy to chat about Brian's blackness.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Wait wait, wait, what hold on? You want to chat
about what.

Speaker 12 (12:43):
Well, I was.

Speaker 11 (12:43):
I was informed by one of your producers that my
text was of interest and it was about Brian's racial identity.
So I was happy to chat with you all about it.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Okay, let's find out. So what did you text in?

Speaker 11 (12:56):
You guys were talking about Brian being black. I guess,
and I said, as a black listener, I always thought
Brian was one of us.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
I'm just saying, okay, are you black?

Speaker 11 (13:05):
I am?

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Okay, Brian now identifies as black? Now, don't stop saying
that Jill is identifying as Chinese.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Definitely not.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
It seems it seems rude for a white man to say.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
You said it, though, Did you say it on the show?
You said I have a black wife. Yes, my kids
are black, and then I think he said, so I'm black.

Speaker 8 (13:26):
I said, it would be rude of me to then
call myself black just because my wife is black.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
No, I don't think.

Speaker 11 (13:33):
I'm claiming you and I. As we say in the
black community. You're invited to the cookout.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Thank you, Mallory.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I'm in What should I bring?

Speaker 13 (13:43):
You?

Speaker 14 (13:44):
Are in? Malory?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
You want to FaceTime me because I'm not sure on you.
I want to double check you.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
That is rude.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
No, he can be saying it and not be it.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I trust him, all right, Okay, we talked him once
a year.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
We talked to once a year.

Speaker 11 (14:01):
Well friends, by now, guys, where do you live?

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Mallory?

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (14:04):
These names?

Speaker 11 (14:05):
Korea Town?

Speaker 3 (14:06):
That now it's a suspicious look on his face.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Now I do not have a suspicious look. You know,
what did you think my background was? Mallory? A lot
of people actually thought I was black.

Speaker 11 (14:18):
Well, I've listened so long that I know the answers
are Irish.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Oh that's true. Yeah, that's right. Hey, wait a minute, though,
that doesn't mean nothing. My cousin is Irish. Marlon Wayne's
he's black.

Speaker 12 (14:31):
That's a good push.

Speaker 11 (14:32):
Shaquille O'Neill. You got a lot of cousins.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
No, I don't know if Shaquill O'Neil's my cousin. That's
now you're not. Maybe Marlon Wayne's actually is the whole
Wayne's family and I related on fourth cousins.

Speaker 11 (14:42):
That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, my mom's side. You should it. When we told
him Marlon Wayne's actually turned white, he was shocked.

Speaker 11 (14:48):
I think they made a movie about that.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
White chicks went, yeah, I should have been in that
as his cousin.

Speaker 11 (14:54):
Can I say one thing all jokes aside. Yeah, with
the world and country we're live in right now. The
way Brian I'm so proud of his family and the
proud of his wife in particular is so refreshing. So
I think that's really what my heart goes out to
when I think about Brian Burton is he's a really
proud guy that's proud of his black wife and black kids.
And that's a beautiful thing.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
Yeah, you made me tear up a little. Thank you
for saying that. Yeah, I am very proud of her.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
He's got a great family. They're great and his wife
is like a top ten every single year. I don't
know how she does it every year, but top ten
physician assistant in southern California and to make that top
ten like for the past honestly ten plus years every
year is freaking phenomenal. So congrats to her. Amazing Well, Mallory, Yes, sir,

(15:39):
we've come to that awkward time. Would you say, yeah,
see you next year?

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I guess.

Speaker 8 (15:45):
So.

Speaker 12 (15:46):
Always a pleasure of chatting with you.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
All YouTube, babe. Take care, come by sitting on the
couch anytime you want.

Speaker 11 (15:50):
Oh, you guys are the best self for yea.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
All right, cheers, Bye bye, dext Valentine in the morning
at three one four three one.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
O four to three, My sm Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 7 (16:01):
There's a lot in theaters this weekend, including The Smashing
Machine with Jane Johnson and Emily Blunt.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Excuse me. He plays Mma fighter Mark Kerr in this
biography film. Also, Bone Lake is in theaters and it
has been called a.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
Seductive horror story where a couple's romantic vacation at a
secluded lakeside estate is altered when they're forced to share
the mansion with another couple. Also, An Enemy is in theaters,
which stars Daniel day Lewis and this movie is directed
by his son Good Boy. I remember talking about this
when the preview came out. It's a horror movie from
the perspective of a dog and he has to protect

(16:36):
his owner. And then also it's the re release of
Avatar The Way of Water when the excuse me. When
Avatar Fire and Ash is hitting theaters in December, this
is the re release to get fans ready for that one.
And Taji p Henson has joined the cast of Tyler
Perry's upcoming Netflix sequel Why Did I Get Married Again?
This is going to reunite the original cast and will

(16:59):
center on the friends that are gathering from Marcus and
Angela's daughter's wedding. I'm Jill with eron tivid headlines on
Valentine in the Morning, one.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Fourth three, My family, It is Valentine in the Morning.
We lost her news. Where's the news?

Speaker 3 (17:15):
The news? You know, the news only happens once a
once a year.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Times. Sometimes we don't why the printer has dust in
like ash in it or something. You look like the
dry All right, well, John and I are in Morning
today anyway. Yeah, guys, what are you gonna do? Oh?

Speaker 3 (17:36):
The Red Red Sox are done?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, we're out of it. Yankee suck. You know the
guy whacko that used to work here, Yes, he sucks.
He texted you to non stop, dude, non stop. And
I even tried to play it off like congratulations, but
he just kept coming hard.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
I just blocked him, did you really?

Speaker 2 (17:53):
I left the conversation and I was the only one
in the conversation, so you really can't leave a conversation.
That's why them So I just hyped Valentine has left
the conversation.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
It was like, let's go Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
You know, Dodgers who won the football game at night?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
The Niners, Oh that's right, yeah, last second, they kicked
a field goal on the Rams couldn't come back.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Sounded excited about that. It was like that where you live.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
It's a shocking game.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Nobody the Niners at the last second.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Could have tied it.

Speaker 8 (18:24):
They're at the ten yard line. All they had to
do was kick a field goal from ten yards out
and they would have tied it. And they decided to
be cool and go for it, and the kid stuff.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Well, the Red Sox could have won it last night.
If they only didn't drop the ball eighteen times. Hit
the ball like twice, it would have been great. Six eighteen.
It's Valentine that morning, first coming out. One of four
to three, my fam, Good morning to you, eight six
six fy four four I them text and three one
o four three. This is Benson boone someone like you.
It is one of four to three, my fam, it's

(18:53):
Valencin in the morning. Tent five It is one of
four to three, my Fami, it's Valentin in the morning.
Let's do you first sip for your Friday morning let's
do it like this. You trying to beat something, You
got something that you're trying to get past. Give it

(19:14):
one more day. Sometimes saying oh, never gonna eat potato
chips to the rest of my life can be kind
of hard. Sometimes maybe a little bit stronger. I'm not
gonna take this drink ever again for the rest of
my life might be a little bit hard. I'm not
gonna talk like this to my spouse for the rest
of my life. Sometimes that's hard to commit to the
rest of your life. Can you commit to one day

(19:36):
this morning, because there's a sense of pride when you
wake up the next day and you've achieved a goal.
I'll beat a small goal maybe for the rest of
the world, but a larger goal for you. Can I
treat people with kindness today when I meet them as
I go about? Can I make their day brighter? Can
I make it a almost like video game of my
life to try and treat people of kindness throughout the

(19:57):
day and see how many coins I can rack up.
Sometimes in life it's best to approach things as one day,
one step at a time, not for all eternity. Put
that to the side, because that will come at you
no matter what. Let's take it one day at a time.
So what are you chasing? What are you fighting? What
are you working on? What's your one day at a time?

(20:19):
I'm curious now too, what is your one day a time?
If these words have meant anything to you over the
radio right now, speaking to you this morning at six
twenty seven from southern California, what is your one day
at a time? Three one oh four to.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
Three, count us up, chill one two.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Three, Sip that coffee, Mother of God, that's hot pot
number two, bringay flying. By the end of the show,
John has got new music, New music Friday. Coming up
next on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Text to Valentine in the Morning at three one oh
four to three.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
All Right, the weather today if you want a cloud
sunny say after seventy tolow eighties for the weekend, sunny, warm, windy.
I was in the eighties. Sixty four West Comingia a
sixth submarine del Ray. Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 7 (21:07):
We still don't know what exactly is happening with the
next parts of the Caribbean movie.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
But the producers say a big actress is involved. I'll
tell you who she is coming up with six fifty.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to New Music, New
Music Friday. Who's doing it?

Speaker 3 (21:24):
That would be me with some color commentary from Jill.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
A little bit.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
And that's because it is the big day Taylor Swift's
album is out. It's actually kind of funny. I was
wondering why last New Music Friday was such a stacked day,
like there were so many albums and songs out, and
I was like, why are so many people releasing? And
then I saw the calendar and I was like, oh, yeah,
it's because Taylor Swift dropped today. So her album is
out the Life of a Showgirl and it's Taylor's return
to pop. So we're gonna play a couple of the
songs so you get a feel for what that album is.

Speaker 8 (21:50):
Like.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
We're gonna play a little bit of this lead track,
this is called the Fate of Ophelia.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Time.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
There were parts of this track that kind of sounded
like Lana del rat Me a little bit, so it
was kind of interesting. This is one of the standout
tracks on her album. That's why it's the lead single
as well. And you might know the tragedy of Ophelia.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
We had to read the Hamlet in high school.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
I'm not sure if anyone else had to read Hamlet
by Shakespeare. But that's essentially what this song is pulling
off of the tragedy of Ophelia. She's the love interest
of Hamlet, and she's like manipulated by all these men
in her life, right her brother, her father, Hamlet has
kind of gone crazy too and messes with her mind
and it eventually drives her mad and she's powerless and
all that, and it eventually leads to her death. But

(23:06):
this song is essentially saying, you're the one that saved
me from that same.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Fate of Ophelia.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
I feel you, you you feel me.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
I've never assuming this is about Travis Kelsey. She even
has some of those lyrics in there that says, I
pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes, And
she's enjoying taking that story and twisting some modern language
into it, kind of modernizing this story a little bit.
But she has all these lyrics where she's like having,
you know, similarities between her nophilia, like being the eldest daughter.
That's something she hits a lot in this album. In fact,

(23:43):
one of the songs is called Eldest Daughter. And there
aren't that many slow ballads, but this is one of them.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
This is Eldest Daughter.

Speaker 15 (23:50):
I'm not bad and this is in sad, but I'm
never gonna let.

Speaker 12 (23:57):
You dun.

Speaker 8 (24:00):
Good.

Speaker 15 (24:02):
So many treos, but I'm never gonna break that.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
I'm never gonve you.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
As the eldest daughter in my family.

Speaker 7 (24:24):
I was really looking forward to this song, and also
because this is song number.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Five on her album and track five on.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
Taylor Swift albums, are very fans started thinking this at first,
and then Taylor's kind of confirmed as well that song
is kind of like the most raw, the most personal
interest on the album, and so in my opinion listening
to the entire thing, I think that's so true with
this one again, like she's keeping that theme of Trap five.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
Yeah, but I didn't even know she did that. That's
kind of interesting, and she kind of makes that interesting
point on this one. She says that especially today's day
and age, like we try and be so nonchalant about things, right,
we try not, we don't care, Like we're tough and unbothered.
And even though she lives a public life, she says
that we all kind of do, because we all have
these personas that we have on social media, and like
we're all kind of showing this external version of ourselves.

(25:12):
But like when you truly get to know someone, or
when you let someone into your life, then they get
to see all the things that truly matter to you
that you're scared to let out and scared to show
that you care about. And that's what this song is
kind of about. She's letting somebody in to see all
those things. And she says that the eldest daughter sometimes
has to wear that wolf mask because you're the one
that has to face the world first, so you're building

(25:33):
that tough skin.

Speaker 7 (25:35):
And if you notice at the end of it, she
talks about the youngest child and Travis is the younger brother, all.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
That she's going to take care of him. It was like,
all this is those sweet I loved it.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Oh God, you're about to cry.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
No nor yet, not yet.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
So this entire album ends with the last song and.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
It's the only track with a feature. The feature Sabrina
Carpenter and Taylor said she wrote this from the perspective
of a fan going to see like her pops at
her showgirl.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
This is called the Life of a Showgirl.

Speaker 15 (26:02):
I said, you live them my dream and she said
to me, Hey, thank you for the lovely book. Kay,
you're sweeter than a beach body. You don't out the
life of.

Speaker 5 (26:17):
So girl way and you never gonna way.

Speaker 15 (26:22):
The more you play, the more that you Kay, you're
softer than a kid and sew, you don't the life
of a so girl bay, and you never.

Speaker 5 (26:32):
Got a Lonna. She was a menace.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
So now you here Sabrina Carpenter come in on this too.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
And then this song, Taylor is like in the perspective
of this fan who goes up to the showgirl at
a show and she's essentially saying, Wow, you're living my dream.
But instead of that show girl lying to her and saying, yeah, dude,
this is awesome, she is real with her and it's
like it's not always glitz and glamour, Like there are
so many things that come with this as well. But
all that being said, at the end, she kind of
just says, I wouldn't have it any other way, and

(27:01):
that sums up.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
For album here.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
She also said, at the very end of this song,
you can hear like the crowd in the background, and
that crowd is pulled from her very last show.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
That Oh that's cool. It actually made it on the album.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
That's so so many people who know that fact are
now into their video being at the show and ship
They're like, I'm.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
In Taylor Swift's album.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
That's funny.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
So yeah, when you hear the audience cheer at the
very end of this song, that is her last show
in Vancouver tour, and that's the life of a show
from Taylor.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
You want to thank you, Jill welcome, thank you Taylor.
Do you hear the rumor about her in the super
Bowl she's not doing it, that she was doing it?
And said no, yeah, yeah, did you hear.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
That about everything she wanted with?

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yeah, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, Well you don't want to
talk about.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
That, actually, yeah, I agree with you.

Speaker 8 (27:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Well, nobody knows what we're talking about, so we have
to talk about it, okay.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah. So apparently they wanted her yeah, and she said yeah,
but she wanted the footage. She wanted to have the
footage of the halftime show so maybe she could turn
that into a video, a movie or something whatever, And
they said no, So Taylor said bye, and they got
bad money.

Speaker 8 (28:17):
Yeah, Gill, do you have didn't you say she's not
gonna do it if Travis could possibly play in.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
The super Bowl.

Speaker 7 (28:23):
That's what I was saying. I was thinking, she's not
gonna want to take anything away from him. I think
once he retires.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
From the NFL, there she'll do it.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
I need it. She has no need for it, right, No,
So I don't know why they didn't just say if
that was true, though, I'm like, yeah, fine, what are
we gonna do with it? Did they sell the halftime show?
Is there some collection that we're missing out on, like
by the Greatest half time Shows?

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (28:44):
I don't know that, like a DVD of Jock Jams
and the Greatest halftime Shows. It's not there. Just give
it to her who cares?

Speaker 5 (28:51):
Right?

Speaker 2 (28:52):
All right? It is one of four to three my family.
It's Valentine in the Morning, six thirty nine. Battle of Sex.
Is you want to play? You call us right now?
Eight sixty six five four four I f.

Speaker 13 (29:00):
M coo coo coo, coo, cook cook, try and do
this party.

Speaker 14 (29:17):
Dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot
dot dot.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Dot punk dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot
dot dot.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
That was fun, fun, the song best it is not
is awesome? Is awesome? You'd freak out of j T.
Walk through that turn right now? Good lord, it's on
a four three, My fam, it's Valentine the Morning. And
told you guys, I was trying one of those j
LP ones. I started like three weeks ago, right, and uh,
I've been misdosing. I think. I think I'm so dumb.
If you're a nurse, help me out, uh, doctor, a

(29:47):
person that likes needles. So I got it's I'm supposed
to take two point five. The thing is like two
point five milligrams or something or whatever. The dosage is
two point five, and then I take pint point five
m L right, and you have to do it yourself
point five mL. So okay. So I got a needle
and there was a five on it. Then there was
a ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty five, thirty thirty five, forty

(30:08):
forty five fifty big needle. Right, well, it's small. But
so I watched some video and they pull it down
to like ten, I thought, and then they push it
back up to get the air out or something like that.
And so I did all that stuff and I just
put it at five. Well, come to think about it,
I think I've been taking instead of point five milligrams,
I've been taking like point oh five, like a tenth

(30:29):
of my dose, And I wonder why had no side effects?
It felt great, this is awesome, this is easy. Do
this in my sleep?

Speaker 5 (30:35):
Yeah, because you hear like some people get a little nauseoes,
some people don't feel well, but you were fine.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
And the reason I suddenly realized it might've taken the
wrong dose because they sent me new needles in the
mail and the new needles were bigger. Not the needle,
but the actual thing would take more liquid right to syringe.
And so I'm like, well, odd, this looks like the
the point five be in the middle of this thing.
Then I started investigating the old one, and I think
the old one I was supposed to pull all the
way down to the bottom or said point five mL

(31:01):
or something. I was doing point h five. But there's
not many decimal points. How's the guy supposed to know?

Speaker 11 (31:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
You know, so I did the whole big thing last night.
So either did the correct dose last night or I
massively overdosed. But my wife kept going, I wonder why
there's so much left in the little bottle. Listen, honey,
they said throw out anything left over. Okay, it's just
what they do in the bottle, all right, you know
you're not a doctor. I'm not a doctor. Just have
a package it. I guess maybe that's just it. Yeah,

(31:26):
but it seems like there's like five doses left in there. Hey,
the video said just throw it out, so I'm just
gonna throw it out.

Speaker 12 (31:34):
Boy.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Last night, she felt like she was on cloud night.
I bet, oh my god, when a spouse is able
to tell you that they were right, Oh my god,
after twenty eight years of marriage, it's like, Valhalla, you
are just you feel so good. And I let her
have it. She was right. Yeah, She goes, do you
want me to help you? I'm like, no, I know
what I'm doing now. I think I'll go on my
radio show tomorrow and I'll ask people for help.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
It does get tricky, though, mixing medications at home.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Well, then they're so small, They're writing's so small. Yeah,
that's why people take the pre shots like there are
more expensive. I can't afford that though, where they're already
like done four y or something. So I'm like, oh man, shoot,
I forgot to ask my friend Jill, she does a
lot of shots to do. Yeah, you do himself.

Speaker 7 (32:15):
Usually, yeah, depending on usually with the steroid treatments. And
then that has the bag of fluids. You really projected.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
Oh that sounds horrible.

Speaker 8 (32:24):
It like this.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Yeah, you have to hang a bag.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
And then do you have a pickline or something? Is
that what it's called.

Speaker 7 (32:31):
Yeah, like a nurse will come on day one stick
it in, and then I keep it in until day
five and then I remove it myself, which is tough.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
So this small amount of the drug I was taking,
I really like. Jill will tell you she had noticed
I'd been not eating chips anymore. Yeah, like every day
we go downstairs to the chip machine, I get chips
or i'd get slammy and cheese and crackers.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
But he wasn't getting snacks.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
I wasn't doing that. So I'm like, my god, it's working.
I lost a few pounds, but I'm like, it's starting
to work. But now last when I went from zero
point oh five too point five. Dear god, I'm gonna
fade away before your eyes. Yes you are, so look out, people, lookouts,
it's happening.

Speaker 12 (33:10):
There we go.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
I am doing a calendar amn's calendar move over.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
He's got the muscles now mine was twenty twenty four.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Dude, we're in a new year. Nah, he's got the muscles.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
He's got it.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Six forty eight is one of four to three my
fam It is Valancin In the morning. I thought maybe
I'll just go down to like an urgent care today
and knock on the door and go, hi, Umm, I'm dumb.
Can I ask you a question?

Speaker 3 (33:31):
You shut?

Speaker 14 (33:32):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (33:32):
That's one hundred dollars, yeah, exactly, one O four to
three my FM.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
Billie Eilish is teaming up with the NBA. I'll tell
you what she's doing. Rap of Traffic one O four.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
To three my SM. Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 7 (33:50):
Jerry Bruckheimer produced all five Pirates of the Caribbean movies
and now they're working on the sixth. And he did
an interview with the Rap and said they're working on
a script. It's always on the page.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
If we don't have it on the page, we're not
going to get on the screen.

Speaker 7 (34:03):
He also said that they had two scripts at one point,
then one kind of dropped out and then they kind
of went with another one and they asked him, is
Margot Robbie still involved with the film or was she
part of the script that's no longer available, and he said,
Margot Robbie is still involved. So we don't know much
about this next film, but we have confirmation Margo Robbie
is still going to be a part of it. And

(34:24):
Billie Eilish is releasing a limited edition drop of new
hats for the NBA. She is teaming up with Complex
and Fanatics to debut this collection, and it says the
limited edition drop reimagines classic NBA headwear through Billy's lens,
offering a fresh take on basketball culture with the design
sensibility rooted in authenticity, nostalgia, and individuality. And the Lakers

(34:47):
and the Clippers are going to be a part of
this drop. I'm Jill and they're in timid headlines.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
We've got the Battle of a Sex's coming up, because

Speaker 8 (35:21):
I did?

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Weird?

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Right, yeah, super weird. I didn't expect that.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
I know, I didn't get any.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Nothing major, kind of a drizzle type thing. My son
Colin had practice his soccer practice for his travel team
in Camrillo last night and he said, yeah, it was
like raining on the field out there. Yeah, unexpect a
little bit of rain just popping in. Nothing of great account,
but interesting.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Does anyone else feel like when you see a little
bit of rain that you didn't know was coming. I
just think to myself, Jill should have told me that.

Speaker 16 (35:48):
Thanks a lot.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Jill didn't tell me about any rains.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
No, But now that you're bringing up, you're right, John,
I believe we should query Jill on that and ask
her why I shouldn't inform us I did not know
about this. Jill has been the amster of meteorologists for
iHeartRadio Los Angeles quite a long time, and for many,
many years you would hear her on other iHeart radio
stations doing the forecast, and then for some reason they
stop doing that.

Speaker 5 (36:11):
And it was my choice. I decided to walk away
while you really yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Well on top?

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Yeah, I thought, you know what this is?

Speaker 2 (36:16):

the rain. So for that happiness coming up? You got

didn't get that from Jill either. Forecast weather complaints, forecast.
Oh my god. You know, it's funny. It's like Jill says,
it's gonna be so much fun later on down the road.
She's very accurate, very right. But I feel like sometimes
we say that and people like it's kind of like
going to somebody at the start of a marathon. Hety,
it's gonna be so much fun when you finish and
you still have the marathon to run. Like guy say

(46:38):
to Brian too about his kids. I'm like, oh, Brian,
these kids is such a sweet spot, but there's so
much more fun ahead of you and everything else. And
he's like, I just can't sleep.

I think he wanted to take me to a game
this year, but we had a baby and he's nursing,
so I can't really go anywhere. Gotcha, Okay, my dad
to a game and now my baby's going to be

Speaker 5 (50:04):
Has actually been in the works for months, and the
weekend's finally here.

Speaker 8 (50:09):
It's a specific reason though, why because me and Jill's
husband have bonded over we like this one comedian Ben Schwartz,
and he does this improv show that we've been talking
about forever, and so it's, uh, it's gonna be something.

Speaker 5 (50:21):
We're gonna go see bench Swartz tomorrow night.

Speaker 11 (50:23):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
Yeah, all right, have fun, guys, friends of mine.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
What's your favorite Benchwarts movie?

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Or I don't project, No, I'm going to talk about him,
b Schwartz and mere tight. I'll be home all alone
as my wife and son are off at a college
visit in a soccer camp this weekend.

you a ticket to the show. And what's your happy news, bro?

Speaker 5 (50:51):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (50:52):
Well, I'm you know, I'm excited for my son this
college visit this weekend and stuff and spending time with Leilani.
So it's always nice because I think you like father sontime,
mother son time. Those things are kind of important too,
and so they'll have a good time. But my happiness
this morning. I've been doing something and I find a
lot of entertainment in it. And you can have your
own personal little thing that you find to be funny
or whatever. I've been nailing how I say, ay Arta,

(51:13):
and I think this is pretty good. Listen to this
by Arta by Yachta yacht yacht, yacht, yacht. I'm not
a good r roller and I feel like I'm nail

in the first try. Did it great? What is your

Speaker 2 (52:42):
Love that those friends are great, aren't they?

Speaker 14 (52:44):
Yes, they are.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
And we all have those people in our life that
you haven't talked to in years, But you can just
pick up the phone and carry on a conversation even
though you haven't spoken to him in years. Maybe.

Speaker 14 (52:54):
Yeah, she's a great friend. She's never given up on me.

Speaker 2 (52:56):

Speaker 7 (54:15):
Entertainment Headlines thirteen going on thirty Stars Jennifer Garner and
Judy Greer are reuniting for a brand new series.

Speaker 5 (54:24):
It's coming to Peacock and it's called Five Star Weekend.
I love these two together.

Speaker 7 (54:29):
I follow them both on social media and they are
such good friends in real life. It'll be so great
seeing them together again in this new series. And Louis
Tomlinson and Zane Mallick are reuniting for a Netflix documentary series.
It's going to be out sometime next year, in twenty
twenty six, and it's going to be this type of

(54:49):
road trip style documentary with the two of them as
they discuss their personal lives and their careers and before
anybody asks. Harry Styles and Nia Horn, the the other
two from Under Action. They are not expected to appear
in the series. When I first saw this headline, I thought, oh,

when they're in tim and headline.

stuff too, And just in general, some of the shows
over there that Guinness thing. If you're not watched that
is amazing, loving that and maybe it's just in my feed.
Maybe you guys haven't bumped into it. I think the
same people that do Peaky Blinders.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
Because of you.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
I think, oh, because of you.

Speaker 3 (55:38):
Fantastic song from Celine Dion and Kelly Clarkson and Kelly Clarkson.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
I may have made that. I was trying to be
oh so foulst seven point fifty. It is one O
four to three MYFM. It's Valentine in the Morning, eight
sixty six five four to four MYFM. If you want
to reach out for the Battle of Sexes, happy news
as well. At three one oh four to three.

Speaker 7 (55:58):
This text is my twelve year old playing her first
band concert in middle school and is going to be
the only one playing the bass clarinet. And another time
says my student is ringing the cancer bell today and
I get to attend. I am so incredibly happy for
him and his family.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
Oh, one A.

Speaker 2 (56:21):
Four to three my family. It is Valentine in the Morning. Kristin,
how are.

Speaker 6 (56:24):
You good morning? I'm great, how are you?

Speaker 2 (56:26):
We're doing all right? I love the greatness coming out
of you. That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (56:31):
It's a great day.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
It's a great day. Great day. What's your happiness?

Speaker 6 (56:36):
Well, hey, I am headed to the first ever graduation
of incarcerated women in California who have an in person
bachelor's degree.

Speaker 5 (56:45):
Wait, that's incredible, I know, the first one ever.

Speaker 6 (56:49):
Proud of these ladies, first one ever.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
So what makes us different because a lot of people
do pursue education get degrees while they're incarcerated. So this
is the first ever person graduation. So friends and family
can show.

Speaker 6 (57:02):
Up, right, Yes, the girls petition to get extra tickets,
so each of the students gets four people to come
in to celebrate them.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
Wow. And these are their bachelors that are getting.

Speaker 6 (57:12):
Yes, bachelor's and Liberal studies from the cal.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
STAATEA A love that that's life changing. Yeah, life changing.
How many of these women will be rotating and getting
probation and coming out or have served their time and
coming out.

Speaker 6 (57:24):
Well, we don't know that, you know, will be determined,
but hopefully all of them.

Speaker 5 (57:29):
Right, do you work at the prison?

Speaker 6 (57:31):
I do, well, No, I work for cal STATAA. I teach,
and so I teach at the prison.

Speaker 8 (57:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
Wow, my mom used to go to a prison by
us all the time. It was minimum security. Later on
became maximum security and became a kind of a different thing.
But she went every weekend with our local church folk
group and she would sing, and she would be there
for masks and everything. She was always part of that.
A big thing for me growing up, to have that
interaction with people who are incarcerated.

Speaker 6 (57:56):
It's just amazing.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
I love that. Yeah, it's important. People need second chances,
and it's very easy to say lock somebody up forget
about them forever, and in some areas that might be appropriate, absolutely,
and I'm firmly a firm hand on that. But for
others who've made a mistake and have paid their dues
and need a second chance, why not.

Speaker 6 (58:16):
Yes, And these women are doing amazing things.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Oh glad to hear it. Well. I don't know if
you can tag us any photos of that because it
might be more private, but if you want to feel free, excellent.

Speaker 6 (58:25):
We're not allowed to take anything in take photographs, but
there'll be a photographer there. It's a big deal. Billy
jan King, the governor, everybody's coming home.

Speaker 3 (58:32):
Oh wow.

Speaker 2 (58:34):
But if you want to sneak in a phone, all right, Kristen,
good work.

Speaker 13 (58:41):
Keep it up.

Speaker 6 (58:42):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 8 (58:43):
You know.

Speaker 2 (58:47):
One A four to three. My family idio is a
valance out of the morning. Good morning to you. I
hope you're having a great Friday. It's October third. Get
you pumpkins out, set them up this weekend. Halloween is
here coming up later this hour. Tell us about the
funniest text message your mom or dad ever sent you.

Speaker 4 (59:02):
I just got a text from my mom the other
day and it literally just says, do you think we
switched dimensions? With no context? And I was like, okay, no, Mom,
but like, what's the what's the background here? So I
guess she just refound the Mendela effect, and so she's
been running down all the different Mendela effects.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
I have no idea what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (59:22):
Okay, So, for.

Speaker 4 (59:23):
Example, in Star Wars, what's the famous line that Darth
Vader says.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Luke, I'm your father.

Speaker 3 (59:28):
That's actually not it. Apparently no, I'm your father?

Speaker 2 (59:31):
Oh no whatever, who cares no, But.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
That's where it stucks everywhere, Luke. Okay, So how about
what's another one?

Speaker 4 (59:39):
Snow White right when she's looking at the mirror and
she says the famous line, what's the famous.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
Line marry mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of
the mall?

Speaker 3 (59:46):
No, what is it? It's magic mirror on the wall.
Who's the fairest of them all? And this proves that
what we're in a different dimensions.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
So aves we have bad memories.

Speaker 3 (59:53):
No, that's the thing though.

Speaker 4 (59:54):
There are too many of these, and my mom has
like vivid memories of some of these things. There are
movies from the a these that she swears she saw
that don't exist or something like that. And there are
so many people that believe that too. Now my mom
takes it away. She believes his movies that don't exist.
There's some movie Shazam.

Speaker 5 (01:00:10):
Yes, that's that's where my mind went.

Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
And like Sindbad plays the genie in Shazam. But apparently
that movie never existed.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
He never did that.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Oh, actually I do. I thought there was a movie.

Speaker 5 (01:00:22):
There is.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
I think there is a movie Shazam and he played
or is it Shack? That Shack is the one you know,
the second see the mistake for that was the Shazam
with Shack and.

Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
A lot of people the fruit of the Loom logo
which all that fruit and the cornucopia that Thanksgiving cornucopia.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
There's no cornucopia.

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
I don't I'm not pictured in cornucopia. I just have
dancing grapes. Grapes. I love grapes, So I have dancing grapes,
and I have like the apple and stuff like that,
and I mix them up every now and then the
kool aid guy comes in, like, what are you doing here?

Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Well, you could get lost in this forever, clearly, but
things that we switched dimension somehow. And that's why I
like so many people have memories of this, because a
lot of these are like pre two thousand and.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
We switched dimensions.

Speaker 3 (01:01:02):
And what's this theory called the Mendela effect, the Mendela
the Mendela e fact?

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Was there not a Nelson?

Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
Who knows?

Speaker 5 (01:01:10):
I just be it was Kazam with Shaquille O'Neill.

Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
But that was real or not?

Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
That was real? Becauzam was real, But Shazam, it's Shazio
not there?

Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Really? Yes, all right, whatever, I'm fine in this dimension.
Could it just be like the matrix? Maybe you know,
we're all getting weird stuff in that. We gotta wake
up and take a different color pillar or something.

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Yeah, there's so many of these. You can get lost
for hours.

Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
It's crazy, all right, Well, tell us about the funniest
text message your mom or dad ever sent you text
in three one oh four three. If you are in
this dimension, it is a battle of the sexes reps
in the matter. Name is Caylin. He lives in Fontana,
works as a parks manager, and enjoys rooting for the
Dodgers and Rams. What kayle, good morning, morning morning, good morning.

Speaker 5 (01:01:57):
The lady is. Her name is Victoria.

Speaker 5 (01:02:30):

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
That is such a great song, isn't it? I love it?
What sport uses terms like strike and turkey? Oh god, ah, shoot, no,

(01:03:07):
it's bowling. It's a bigger ball.

Speaker 5 (01:03:11):
Caleb Spare is the name of the memoir by what
famous royal?

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
I don't even know, Prince.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Harry current scores zero to zero? What nut is used
to make nutella?

Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
And Caleb mister peanut is the mascot for what nut brand?

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
Oh my gosh, Planters, were you distracted by baby Wyatt
in the background? Caleb, you buy No, it's a good trick. Victoria.
Have your kid make weird noises in the background. That's smart, Lady.

Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
Victoria.

Speaker 7 (01:04:03):
You want to Battle of the Sexes Championship certificate posted
on social use the hashtag zalti in the morning and
share it with Pride.

Speaker 12 (01:04:09):

Speaker 7 (01:04:11):
You've also won a pair of three day passes to
Stagecoach twenty twenty six with Cody Johnson, Lady Wilson, Post

sale now, and we have a bonus chance to win
at one O four to threemithm dot com congrats Victoria,
thank you, nice job.

Speaker 6 (01:04:30):
Why we're going to stage coach?

Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
How old is?

Speaker 17 (01:04:35):
Why you be's eight months old?

Speaker 14 (01:04:36):
And we start our mornings with you, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Why she's lying. I don't think she's taking you to
stage coach, tod eight months you'll be in the vicinity, Caleb,
is you exit the stage. This moment is entirely yours.
You take it away.

Speaker 14 (01:04:52):
Thank you so much for letting me play.

Speaker 12 (01:04:54):
And hope you guys have fun that stage coach.

Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
Thanks Bud, appreciate you. Come it up in three Things
you need to Know, Swift has released her album The
Life of a show Girl. Will play some of that
for you, some of her favorite songs and just a
bit and the update on that Chevron refinery fire. Are
things okay, now that's coming up.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Free things you need to know right now?

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
All right, It is eight twenty one, it's Valence head
in the morning. This is one of four to three
mi FM, Day five sixty eight of my son's high
school journey. Colin, have a great day at school, All
your friends have a great day school as well. Dropping
your kids off, Hope it's a good Friday for them. Overnight,
a massive, absolutely massive fire broke out at a Chevron
refinery and El Segundo. You probably saw the video that's
all over the news today's social media. Road closures of course,

(01:05:35):
we talked about that in traffic, and a shelter and
place order was an effect as well. It's the largest
oil refinery on the West Coast. Nearby residents reported and explosion.
They said it felt like an earthquake. Officials say they're
monitoring air quality levels throughout southern California for any signs
of pollution. What do you think oiler refinery explodes, burns, No, no,

(01:06:01):
but nobody hurt as far as we know, no reports.
How is that a miracle? Right? Oh my gosh. Pepsi
is working to keep their products colorful without using artificial dyes.
The food industry is under pressure from both the government
and consumers to move away from synthetic dies right now,
but forty Pepsi products still use artificial dyes, including Gatorade
not a natural color. Some of those colors. Who knew

(01:06:24):
Cheetos they don't grow like that in the wild. Captain
crunch Lay's chips, Doritos really.

Speaker 3 (01:06:33):
Artificial?

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Does? Yeah? Figure that out? Guys, Get some carrot juice
do whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
You know, weird that we'd think it's crazy if it
wasn't blue you know, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
Yeah, yeah, oh the crystal blue water. John, what's training
your music?

Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
But well, it is a new music Friday, and Taylor
Swift's album is finally out today, The Life of a
show Girl. Now we're about to play one of the
songs off at the lead single. It's called the Fate
of Aphilia, and it kind of pulls from the tragedy
of Aphilia from Shakespeare's Hamlet, who eventually went mad based
on the chaos of a bunch of different men around her.
But Taylor says she was saved from that fate. This
is the fantom Ophelia, the lead single for Taylor Swift's

(01:07:08):
new album, The Life of a show Girl.

Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Oh, Taylor Swift, The Fate of Ophelia. It is eight
twenty six one or four to three. My fabits fallance
in the morning. Mary was the funniest text message you
got from your mom or dad.

Speaker 14 (01:07:29):
As a child, my favorite movie growing up was Pultergeist.
So about a year ago my mom sent a text saying,
I just watched Poltergeist again. I love you because you
go into the TV I'm still not coming after you.

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Oh that's funny. Good luck to you. Walk towards a
lighter dough. Not my business.

Speaker 16 (01:07:46):
I was always on my own.

Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
God.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Those are terrifying movies, weren't they.

Speaker 16 (01:07:49):
Oh I loved it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
Oh you liked Poultry Guys. Oh my god, it's so scary.

Speaker 16 (01:07:53):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 14 (01:07:54):
Yeah, I could say every line.

Speaker 5 (01:07:56):
How old were you when you were watching this?

Speaker 14 (01:07:58):
Elementary school?

Speaker 16 (01:07:59):
Probably?

Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
Oh gosh.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (01:08:01):
People hated me because I would just repeat it over
and over.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Yeah that stuff. Whenever TV got a little static here
or something like that, I got freaked out.

Speaker 6 (01:08:10):
Yeah, they're here, stop it.

Speaker 14 (01:08:14):
I do hate clowns though, because of that movie.

Speaker 5 (01:08:17):
I remember any clowns. And have I even seen Poltergeist that.

Speaker 14 (01:08:21):
Under the bed and the lightning would strike and then
he attacked the brother.

Speaker 5 (01:08:25):
Oh no, oh, I'm thinking of The Ring. That's what
I'm thinking of.

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
Oh, the Ring is so much far after the Poultry Guys.

Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
Yeah, Poultry Guess is the one about the little girl.

Speaker 14 (01:08:34):
Right, yeah, but she goes into the television and parents
have to go into the closet together.

Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
Yeah, and it was it was The house was made
on some like old Indian or Native American cemetery. Yeah,
there was a clown under the bed.

Speaker 11 (01:08:47):
In that one.

Speaker 14 (01:08:48):
Yeah, it's in the brother's room.

Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Huh yeah, stay there too.

Speaker 14 (01:08:53):
All right, I watched it too much.

Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
Yeah, no, you got it down obviously. Okay, I beg
different movie shining. I watched that one on Jack's Back,
that's what he said. Yeah, in the in the uh
like edits that they didn't actually use. He says another
dimension in d effect. He doesn't say anything, but Jack's back.

Speaker 3 (01:09:17):
Let me in.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
It's your old pal jag Go Lakers. Thanks Mayor.

Speaker 16 (01:09:23):
I think that's a great impression.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
By the way, Oh my god, Mary, you're the best
human being on the planet.

Speaker 17 (01:09:28):
Well you guys have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
You too, love me.

Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
Welcome text Valentine in the morning at three one oh
four to three.

Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
All Right, the weather today, a few morning clouds, mostly Sunday.
The st afternoon tempts seventies to low eighty. Some slight
drizzle expected in some random areas today. Keep an eye
out for that, Jill says. For the weekend, sunny, warm,
windy highs in the eighties sixty five, Monterey Parks sixty
nine and Torrents Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming your way.

Speaker 7 (01:09:52):
Channing Tatum is talking about Avengers Doomsday, and Hugh says
the new film will be like another Marvel film.

Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
Time.

Speaker 5 (01:10:00):
I'm fifty, I'll tell you what he said about it,
coming up at eight fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
Funniest text you ever got from your mom or dad
texted at three one oh four to three.

Speaker 5 (01:10:07):
This text says, my mom texted me and Kamila slipped
and broke her arm. Loll. She thought loll stood for
lots of love and not laughing out loud.

Speaker 7 (01:10:16):
Another text says my mom sent me the text I'm
using the internet at the hotel. Can they see what
I'm looking at on my phone? And then this text says,
my mom once texted me how do I delete a person?

Speaker 8 (01:10:29):
That was it?

Speaker 5 (01:10:30):
Zero context? She meant from Facebook, but I was very concerned.

Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
Well, I'm actually kind of curious about her original. How
do you delete some people? That'd be a handy little trick. Hey, Chris,
the funniest thing you ever got from mom our dad
via text?

Speaker 12 (01:10:43):
I was gonna say my dad he texted me and said, Hey,
I'm taking your mom to Costco to shop for coffins.

Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
I'm taking your mom to Costco to shop for coffins.

Speaker 12 (01:10:55):
Obviously, that prompted me to pick up the float and
call them and be like, what the heck are you talking? Tom?
I thought he was joking because he likes to he's
a very humorous person, so I figured, you know, he
was just trying to egg me on to give him
a call.

Speaker 11 (01:11:08):
But no, he was.

Speaker 12 (01:11:09):
He was dead serious. He was going to take him
to Costco. He said they had a two for one special.

Speaker 2 (01:11:14):
That's a good deal.

Speaker 5 (01:11:15):
Though I had no idea they sold coffins.

Speaker 12 (01:11:17):
Yeah, I didn't either. And then he was serious about it,
and I asked him if he could get one from
my wife and I And then he asked if I
was serious. I said, no, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
But at least he said he was taking your mom there.
It wasn't like I got to pick one up for
your mom.

Speaker 12 (01:11:34):
No, no, there. They're young and healthy. They're only in
their sixties. They're young and healthy. But he thought it'd
be a good idea to save some money.

Speaker 3 (01:11:41):
Yeah, you should be able to pick your own coffin.

Speaker 12 (01:11:43):
You should be I think so as well. And also
previous caller polter Geist.

Speaker 14 (01:11:47):
I thought that was a doll.

Speaker 12 (01:11:49):
Under the babe, so I looked it up. So Mandela effect.
I'm all with you guys today.

Speaker 2 (01:11:54):
The Mendel effects got rampant today. And I didn't know
what the Mandela effect was until John explained it. But
we all remember different things, you know. It's very funny.

Speaker 12 (01:12:04):
I've never been on your Christmas list. I'm gonna listen
to you guys for like seven years? Can I get
her on your Christmas list?

Speaker 8 (01:12:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
I remember I sent it to you one time. It
must be the Mandela effect. Yeah, Chris hank type. We'll
get you on it. Man never one A four three
My Fami, it is Valentine in the morning eight sixty
six five four four of my fam texting the show

(01:12:29):

You go and see comedian. You guess you're doing a
date night you and Brian and your.

Speaker 5 (01:12:38):
Spouse is yes, you're able to see Ben schwartzmaw nights.

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
You split that cost? Has it working a double day
or do you go to the bathroom as usual.

Speaker 3 (01:12:44):
Here's the thing, Jill got the tickets.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
I have beno hurt.

Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
I will make an offer of like, let me get
you back.

Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
You know, you know, I know yesterday at the Mexican restaurant, Laura,
I'm sorry, sorry you missed out yesterday. Laura was fasting
for her Jewish holiday yesterday, and we go to this
vaccine restaurant and just before the bill comes, gosh, another
bathroom run for Brian Burden. And he got up because

(01:13:12):
he saw the guy coming with the check, and he
got up so fast he didn't even know where to go.
He like went the wrong way, like, dude, that's not
the bathroom. I've been here a thousand times. It's that way.
Because oh yeah, that's right, it's that way.

Speaker 3 (01:13:23):
Did I miss the check?

Speaker 8 (01:13:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:13:25):
Oh wow, yeah you almost missed.

Speaker 5 (01:13:27):
Dave Coolier, Yeah, that was for sure Dave Coolier one
hundred percent. I will be honest. I've I've messed up
in the past. But how I thought I saw, how
he meant it was definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
It was just a bald man.

Speaker 5 (01:13:41):
This was for sure Dave Coolier from Full House one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
Per And I told you go say hi to him,
and you didn't want to. I was.

Speaker 5 (01:13:48):
I got up and I was gonna go, but then
I saw he was at a table full of.

Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
People, and as were we, right, but as were we?
And if somebody walked up and said, Jill, I'm a
fan of the show. I just want to pop and
say hi, he'd be like, oh my god, thank you
so much, thank you for taking the time say hi.
People appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (01:14:01):
I would love it, definitely love it. Dave Colier is
a lot more. He's not bigger than we are, so
he might not feel the same light full House. He's
only got people coming up to him all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Yeah, but full House was the eighties and Fuller House.
Isn't it done? Is it still on? Yeah, but it's
still He's a cultural icon, sure, but he's Dave Coolier
in Burbank and a Mexican restaurant at noon on a Thursday.
He seemed like there was no pop routes to behind him.
I'm sure he would have five with a hello if he.

Speaker 5 (01:14:29):
Is by himself, definitely right. I just didn't want to.
He just had a ton of people there and I
didn't want to interrupt.

Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
I think it would have been fine. It's all how
you do it. If you walk up, Oh la la la.

Speaker 7 (01:14:42):
No, you had a great example, what was that just
saying I'm such a big fan, just wanted to say hello,
enjoy your lunch, keep it quick and keep moving.

Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
Yeah, exactly. You gotta go as quick as Brian goes
to the bathroom. Do you remember when I said hello
to a certain famous Hamilton gentleman downstairs? That's right? And
how did that go so awkward?

Speaker 5 (01:15:03):
He asked, wah, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
He thought I was a waiter. So I go up
to lin Manuel Miranda on a dare downstairs at Morton's
when it was open for lunch. It's not anymore. What
a bummer that is. We can't afford it anyway, But
so lin Manel Miranda's. There are people and Hamilton's been
huge and huge for years. Jill's listener. My differences going
go see hud get him on the show, get live
me and will Miranda's show, and I usually we're black.

(01:15:26):
That's what I'm gonna say. Maybe that's what it was.
And I walked up and I'm like, excuse me, uh
miss Miranda. He goes, oh, here you go, thank you,
and he hands me his glass to be refilled. And
now I'm holding his glass, right, I'm holding his glass,
and I go oh no, I'm Valentine. I'm a big fan.
He's he's the one who Valentine is. And then I'm

(01:15:46):
I've got my business card in my other hand. I'm
going to hand it to him, like you should come
on our show. And I'm thinking this is our connection
and we'll be in Hamilton too, and I don't know,
it would be great. And then I'm holding the water.
Then another waiter comes over because he sees me holding
the water, he starts poor the water in. Now I'm
holding limon Wales Brenda's cup.

Speaker 3 (01:16:04):
I would have gotten to a waiter someone would be like, dude,
he asked me to fill.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
This, yes, right, but they were filling it. So I'm
sitting there like now I'm an intermediary, like in between
it go between for the waiter and Limb and weel
Miranda with the water cup and he still didn't get it.
And I was like handah to him. And then I
as I walked away, I did hear him say something
about the services got down here one O four.

Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
To three MYFM. Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 7 (01:16:28):
There's been rumors about this happening for a long time,
but now I am determined to believe this rumor that
in Sync is reuniting.

Speaker 5 (01:16:39):
Nope, nope, I'll tell you what we know.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
Right after Traffic one O four to three, my SM
Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:16:47):
Avengers Doom's Day is going to be in theater.

Speaker 7 (01:16:49):
It's December eighteenth of next year, twenty twenty six, and
Channing Tatum is going to be a part of it
as Gambit, and he says.

Speaker 5 (01:16:56):
We're not ready. He said, I don't know how to
describe this movie to you.

Speaker 7 (01:16:59):
It is going to make your brains ooze out of
your ears, and it's basically like Deadpool and Wolverine times fifty's.
That's how he is describing this next film. And TMZ
is saying that four of the five members of in
Sync are in serious talks.

Speaker 5 (01:17:19):
To have a reunion.

Speaker 2 (01:17:22):
Yes, there's only one that matters. If Chris ker Patrick
was a holdout.

Speaker 7 (01:17:30):
Sorry, So apparently they were approached for this big deal,
this big arena reunion tour to happen next years with
Live Nation and aeg.

Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
Like Cross the Country or the Spear or something right
across Country.

Speaker 7 (01:17:43):
And for the guys, Lacey Lacy, Lacy, Joey JC and
Chris we're all on board.

Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
Justin never engaged, so that just kind of fizzled out. Well,
now TMZ is saying that those four guys are in
serious talks about doing a reunion with or without Justice.
It's not a reunion though, it's not a full band reunion.

Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
Haven't they done this before the four guys got together
or something?

Speaker 5 (01:18:09):
No, not like this.

Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
You did it at the Mexican restaurant down the street
last week with Cooler.

Speaker 5 (01:18:14):
You know, they celebrated their thirtieth anniversary. Yeah, just the
other day. I would buy.

Speaker 7 (01:18:20):
Tickets to go see just the four of them if
it wasn't Justin, if it was something where we're gonna
have all the instinct songs still played, the guys are
up there on stage singing, I would go, and I
would love it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
Yeah, but you wouldn't pay one hundred bucks a ticket.
If JT was there, you pay one hundred bucks a ticket,
because then it's the full thing. You would This is
like a twenty four to nine nine.

Speaker 7 (01:18:39):
Showing the buck is the poor guys's gonna kill me?

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
Really, you take four out of five. I would really,
honestly what I.

Speaker 5 (01:18:50):
Love and I would do it without Justin.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
Would you take Otown without Dan Miller, that's tough. Yeah.
So I don't think you take in Sync without justin Timberheille.

Speaker 5 (01:19:01):
I would, really, personally, I would. I don't know about
every Insinc.

Speaker 7 (01:19:04):
Fan.

Speaker 2 (01:19:04):
Yeah, but you couldn't fill out a big I mean,
how big a venue could you have? It's just four
out of five you can't. It's like in Sync but
not Timberlake. I mean it's like, how'd you even bill it?

Speaker 5 (01:19:13):
I think at this point we were waiting for it.
We've been waiting for it for so long. What you
would take it? You'd sell out Crypto.

Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
No, you would know you would sell a Crypto dot
com arena with four out of five in Sync members. Yeah,
well yeah, you're not buying all the seats. No, but
you went too far. You've got too far. What's the
city capacity? John a Crypto?

Speaker 3 (01:19:34):
I want to say seventeenth that let me check on that, right,
it's a big venue.

Speaker 2 (01:19:37):
Yeah, and you think seventeen thousand people show up for
four out of five?

Speaker 5 (01:19:39):
Yes for InSync?

Speaker 3 (01:19:41):
I no, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:19:41):
Maybe you're right, Yes, twenty thousand people gonna show it
for four out of five Crypto dot com arena, Yes,
I'm in bringing with you. Is he did he okay this?
I don't know if he's coming from four out of five?
I'm still there to I know it's always been talked about.
I have nothing but love for these guys. Are all talented,

(01:20:03):
talent individuals. They're all doing the kind of their own thing.
I just think that if people want a reunion tour,
you gotta have the reunion. And of course we love that,
and you couldn't bill it as you couldn't bill as
a reunion tour.

Speaker 7 (01:20:14):
It's our out of five it would be Yeah, maybe
they wouldn't call it an in sync reunion, but having
the four of the five.

Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
I can you even call it in sync at that point?
Or what's the legalities at that point? Because they're using
the name in Sync and if he's actually part of
that trademark, do is you have to get money for
a tour he's not even on? Oh yeah, who owns
in Sync? Is it divided in twenty percent each? And
then if eighty percent use it? Do they have to
pay money to him? Because they're using the moniker in Sync.
It's just like sink, you know, Yeah, it's just sink.

(01:20:45):
There's no end yeah, doll, just do that. It's a
sink tour. All right, Well we'll wait and see. You
think it's going to happen. Yeah, what's your gounta tell you?

Speaker 5 (01:20:55):
I'm saying yes with the four.

Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
You say it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. Okay, all right,
and maybe he just up one night or something that'd
be great, Thank you, Jill. It's on a four to
three MIFM people going. That's called out of Sync Elizabeth Taylor,

(01:21:17):
Taylor Swift, Elizabeth Taylor Swift. It's one of four three
mi fam and is balanced at the morning album's out.
John thoughts on that song right there.

Speaker 3 (01:21:25):
I like Elizabeth Taylor.

Speaker 4 (01:21:26):
I think in general, it's hard to know right off
the bat how you feel about a Taylor album because
you're comparing it to some of the biggest albums that
we've ever heard, you know what I mean. So I
feel like there's such a prestige to Taylor's work, so
I feel like I almost have to sit with it
for a while to really know how it compares to
everything else.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
So you're saying you're not sold on it yet, you
have to take more time with it, Okay, I appreciate
down to see Jill.

Speaker 5 (01:21:45):
Your thoughts tortured Poet's Department. I was like, this is
an amazing album. Midnight's instant classic for me.

Speaker 3 (01:21:52):
I loved it.

Speaker 5 (01:21:52):
Okay, this album, I was surprised.

Speaker 7 (01:21:56):
Okay, it went in a different direction than I thought
it was going to. Right, And like John, I need
a couple more listens.

Speaker 2 (01:22:03):
You need to suit with the two Light hands.

Speaker 5 (01:22:06):
Down my favorite song on the album.

Speaker 7 (01:22:07):
I love that and I love the Fate of Ophelia.
Those two are my favorites. The rest of it I
need to listen to more. I need to people to
explain the lyrics to me a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
I need more time with it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:17):
Yeah, I really feel it's I feel it. I felt
that way with the Midnight's album. Like I listened to
Lavender Hayes, and the first few times I was like,
all right, this is this is just fine, and then
I really grew turn that album. Like Lavender Hayes is
one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs now and it
wasn't at first.

Speaker 2 (01:22:32):
Brian your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (01:22:33):
I really liked a Life of Ophelia.

Speaker 8 (01:22:35):
Okay, that was I heard it with you guys earlier
for the first time, well, John played it and then
talked over it, so I couldn't really hear anything. It's full,
and when we played it in the full, I really
liked that. Okay one, Okay, Valentine, your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (01:22:47):
I think it's the greatest album she's ever done. Really,
I think it's amazing. I loved it. I loved it
from start to finish. I sorry, start to incredible.

Speaker 1 (01:22:59):
How efficiency with Toyota. Things that you need to know
right now?

Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
All right? The Pacific Air Show is going down in
Huntington Beach this weekend. Hundreds of thousands of people are
expected to attend the three day event. Normally people look
forward to the seeing the US Air Force Thunderbirds there,
but this year no US military aircrafts will participate due
to the governmental shutdown. Taylor Swift is saying she's inviting
dis jockeys who loved her album to her wedding. Oh

(01:23:26):
like that. Tomorrow night, Dodgers face to Phillies Game one
of the NLDS. It's the first time in sixteen years
that these two teams have met in the playoffs. Show
hey Otani will make his postseason pitching debut. Games one
to two are going to be a Philly before the
series moves here to La on Wednesday. Good Luck Dodgers,
go get them, bad Luck Raft your afternoon host. We

(01:23:47):
salute him because he's in the military, you know, and
he's always sending there at the ready. We salute him
for his service and we love him being the National Guard.
He's a hero too many here and we thank him
for his service. But he's a Philadelphia fan with every team. So, John,
what's trending music?

Speaker 4 (01:24:06):
Well, we were just talking about Taylor Swift. It is
a new music Friday and her album is out today.
We are gonna play a little bit of that title
track as well. This is called Life of a Showgirl.

Speaker 15 (01:24:14):
I said, delive made and she said, thank you. So
the lovely Bookay Sweeter than a Beast? Why you don't
out the Life of so goodby?

Speaker 1 (01:24:31):
And you never?

Speaker 4 (01:24:33):
So this one closes up the album. It kind of
sums up the album and it's the only feature on
the album. It's got Sabrina Carpenter on. You can listen
to the whole thing on the free iHeart Radio. I'm
John Kamichie.

Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
That's what's trending in music.

Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
She's leaning into her joy and confidence in this album,
and I think it's because of where she is right
now in relationships, and that's to me why it stands
out so much, and that's why I think it's one
of her greatest albums. People haven't come to that yet,
but I think it's great. And the collaps she's done,
the people she's working with, you.

Speaker 1 (01:25:03):
Know, pers.

Speaker 5 (01:25:05):
Ahead of Crystal.

Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
It's so much shellback you can hear it.

Speaker 8 (01:25:12):
I think that.

Speaker 7 (01:25:13):
I think that's why I was expecting the more delicate sounds,
the more out of the woods, Like I thought it
was gonna be that more kind of poppy album show,
and I thought, oh, this is a little with Mackie,
you know, and I just I need to hear it
a little.

Speaker 5 (01:25:31):
More before I find there is.

Speaker 2 (01:25:34):
Yeah, I think there's a crisp pop leaning clarity to
it that's coming through for me. And I've been in
this business a long time, but it does seem like
there's a confidence that she's bringing forth that it's always
been there, but now it's four or front. Do you
know that quiet confidence? Are you eating an apple with
peanut butter?

Speaker 8 (01:25:51):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:25:53):
What did you think of the song?

Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
Would?

Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
Are you trying to trip me up for something no,
because that doesn't seem like a friend and the thing
to do. I'm trying to tell you this is a
great album, that's all. Melissa Chris has got the traffic
go ahead and Melissa one O four to three, one
of four to three my FM sunfu.

Speaker 3 (01:26:19):
Oh man, so good.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
I love that ending. Hey, have fun this weekend, guys,
that sounds so exciting. You're going out on a double date.

Speaker 5 (01:26:26):
We are, yes, and our spouses are hitting the town.

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
I love that for you, guys.

Speaker 5 (01:26:32):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:26:32):
I think you're such You're great people to begin with,
and your spouse or fantastic people. And the two of
you getting together with your spouses outside of work having
some fun. That just shows this magical chemistry that you
have here in the studio and how great you guys
are as friends and that friendship. It's rare that friendships
at work are so strong and continue to be so

(01:26:53):
strong outside of the workplace. For many of us, we
say goodbye at five o'clock, we say goodbye it whatever
time it is you leave the workplace, and they're not
necessarily your best of friends or your friends at work,
but it doesn't always extend downside of the workplace. And
seeing you guys extend that friendship out of the workplace
says a lot about your characters people, says a lot
about the friendship that you have. Oh, thanks, manly. I
hope you have a great, great time.

Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
Oh you're the best. Hope you guys can't bail now.

Speaker 5 (01:27:16):
Huh No, no, worried. But I hope you have a
really great weekend too.

Speaker 2 (01:27:20):
I'll be loan at my house.

Speaker 5 (01:27:21):
But the shows you can even watch Guinness, I can't.

Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
Watch that because my wife and I watched that together,
so we'll be able to watch it all weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:27:29):
Yeah, share, you could pick a show you want. Sometimes
it's nice when your girlfriends out of town because then
I watch.

Speaker 2 (01:27:34):
I don't have a girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
I'm relating to you.

Speaker 4 (01:27:37):
I'm saying, sometimes my girlfriends out oftown, I watch dumb
shows that I know she's not gonna I know.

Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
I've been told to clean out the garage. But I'm
very happy for.

Speaker 3 (01:27:44):
You, guys.

Speaker 1 (01:27:44):

It was so cute to watch the TV on Instagram

Speaker 3 (01:29:44):
Camuci cmouche and they posted something the other day was
just so cute, the two of the young love.

Speaker 2 (01:29:51):

eight years now, so this young spring love and they're
decorating the apartment with Halloween decorations. And John had no
idea that Olivia his girlfriend, so into these decorations, so
into the holidays is kind of first like foray into that.
