Speaker 2 (00:30):

days ago.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
I heard it in a commercial.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Heard in a commercial, Come meet Jill from Valentine in
the Morning.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
She goes, what.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
Yeah, a couple months ago they asked for available dates
during the summer from me and John, and so I
sent them three. John said he was free a couple
of dates, and that was the last we heard.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
And then you hear the commercial on the air. H hilarious. Yeah,
I'm going to beat the Citadel on this Shaturday. Yeah,
and John's like, no, not, what's John?
Speaker 4 (00:58):
So I moved some stuff around and I'll be there
from one to three this Saturday.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
What are they doing?
Speaker 4 (01:04):
It's like a FIFA celebration. Oh, get me swag a
fun party.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Okay, yeah, there's any soccer stuff. Get it for Colin? Yeah, John,
get a FIFA ball, like if they're raffling off, like
a real FIFA ball or something. Okay, just say in
the winter is a.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Colin, But you have to be present to win.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
There he is.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I'll just hold on to it for you can't make
it to the stage, but I'll give it to him anyway, John,
what do you got going on? Buddy?
Speaker 3 (01:29):
I am going to be going to New York this weekend?
I got it.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Are you doing a TikTok thing?
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Flight after the show, we're doing like a TikTok radio
broadcast out in New York? So right, what airline I'm flying? Ooh?
Jet Blue?
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I love Jet Blue.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I've had great experiences. I don't know what that means.
First class that's funny. No, no, of course not.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Oh that's transcontinent. It's a long flight, that's okay.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Does anyone get first class that they gave me first
class one time? Yeah, well just one time in my
entire career. This was a while back, and it wasn't iHeart.
It was the client that was flying me out.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Oh this was like back in the day where like
radio was at its peak, like all the cool glory
days that I hear about radio.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Joe, what do we fly to New York? When we
flew for the Marconi Awards?
Speaker 4 (02:23):
That was that was first class?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Okay, Okay, this is starting to knowing me.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Got to ask John, No, no, gotta ask. You don't ask,
you don't get.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
See, I had Val ask for me for the Marconi dude,
so just have Val ask.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
All right, all right, too late, now, too late. That's booked.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Laura, What are you doing this weekend?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
I think I will be performing a saults in my.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
House because is your house haunted?
Speaker 6 (02:52):
We have had the craziest stuff happened to us in
the past probably seventy two.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
Hours, okay, and we're at that point now where we're
like we need to sage, we need to cleanse, like
our dogs really sick, our air cons stopped breaking, my
husband got in a car accident.
Speaker 6 (03:08):
Like bad luck, bad luck stuff, and we're like someone
has a voodoo doll. We're turning off the lines candles,
we're chanting what we have to do.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I have been through those moments in life and they suck.
I'm sorry you're going through that, but I felt before
like somebody's had a voodoo doll of me.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
It was just like, we need to refresh. You know,
what's the worst that can happen.
Speaker 6 (03:28):
I mean, maybe we're like set the apartment on fire
or something. It can't get worse.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
You know, maybe like we need the reverse voodoo. I
don't even know what that is, maybe like a doll
and somebody rubs you.
Speaker 7 (03:45):
Well.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Yeah, but anyone's welcome to join the sale. I don't
know how they really work. You take the safe, yes,
and then you go through all of your door frames.
Oh yes, I got my windows as well. Brilliant anything
that can come in, you want it to go out.
You keep a very positive mind, and you just tell
them to go on their way. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Has this worked for you and you tried it, Joe?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
It did. I've done it twice, once for a ghost,
once for a former roommate who lived there, and them
out too. Yeah, okay, yeah, did you feel clean cleansing? Yeah? Yeah.
I also redid the entire place as well.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
A new smell to the place of a new paint.
But I believe it was just my cleansing with this
sage which black. So is that what she has usage?
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Is that the I can bring in. I'm bringing it
on Monday. Oh yeah, so generous.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
I got something that purse, then you get it out.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Did this sage come in like a little bundle?
Speaker 7 (04:41):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Okay. My girlfriend puts some by our door want she
doesn't want you getting in. And I've been wondering what
that was for the last couple of weeks. She's I
tried to take it down once and she said, no,
take that down. Wow, And I just like, don't like
clutter in the apartments. I was like, what is this
here for?
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Hey z? Good morning, Hey, good morning, maw what's going on?
Ma man?
Speaker 8 (05:06):
How are you just taking a quick break from work
to take your call?
Speaker 2 (05:10):
I love it, I love it. Welcome to Valentine in
the morning. So who you're rooting for this weekend? Somebody
told me you're going for Argentina or not?
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (05:16):
I mean yeah, not for Argentina. Definitely England's my team.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Really well got lost. That's that's done.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
They're out. Yeah I know.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Okay, yeah, so you go for Spain.
Speaker 8 (05:28):
Yeah, anything about Argentina anybody but Argentina.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Okay, now, why do you feel that way?
Speaker 8 (05:33):
Yeah, I mean, just look at all the analysis. If
you I'm a big, huge soccer football fan. I've been
to two World Cups Russia and Brazil.
Speaker 9 (05:42):
Couldn't go to Qatara. But and obviously you know, ticket's
expensive tickets here for the twenty twenty six. But they
got away with Egypt, they got away with Switzerland, they
got away with a couple of birthday and you know,
they just keep getting away.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Dude, listen, I'm not a massive Argentina fan. I'm not
a massive Messi fan. I respect layne On Messi and
left foot, right foot. That doesn't matter with that guy.
But they the reason that England lost. It wasn't because
Argentina cheated. Argentina was the better team and England.
Speaker 9 (06:14):
Just agree.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
England stopped, they stopped playing offensively. They basically parked the
bus and had too many defenders on the field. And
Argentina is putting wingers left and right. I mean they
had everybody on the attack.
Speaker 9 (06:25):
Yeah, I agree with yeah, But to be honest, Argentina
shouldn't be at this stage right now. If you look
at the past three games Argentina.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah, I think Spain's gonna win, but you can't put
anything past Argentina. They won the last World Cup, so
they're defending. Yeah, and there's a great team. And anytime
Messi plays and that guy's how old is Messi? He's
like eighty four and the guy's still down the field
like he does.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
So I would just like you to know that I
am completely on your same side here as someone who
has really only found out about soccer in the last
couple of weeks. Everyone on TikTok right now is very
anti Argentina. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Really, people are always anti the top.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
He's like, Oh, they don't deserve to be there. They're
getting their cheating. People are favoring them, so you know what,
it's enough to convince me. And I'm with you, dude.
Speaker 8 (07:07):
I think, yeah, I appreciate that.
Speaker 9 (07:10):
And I think there's a journalist who's actually just busted.
There might be fbis investigating the whole money scandal with
a lot of Miami.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
That's a messy place for m olss in Miami.
Speaker 9 (07:25):
It's going to come out soon, so we'll know.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, they're all they're all shady. They're all shady.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
FIFA listen, FIFA shady. I get that for sure, they've
always said so many great documentaries of FIFA from over
the years when they've had money laundering problems and just
or allegedly just some weird stuff. And the bald guy
that every shows ahead of FIFA and nobody likes him.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
That's what I heard.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yeah, here's the devil.
Speaker 10 (07:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (07:51):
I imagine a team who has never played Brazil, never played England,
never played France, any of these team in the quarterfinals
or some my finals or the group stages. Like if
you look at Argentina's path and Spain's or France or
Brazil and Norley or England's path, I mean they've never nobody,
none of Argentina's never played a top ranked team.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Our path was pretty good though too. The host countries
didn't have you that path.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
You know. You know, it makes sense that val is
defending Argentina because I've seen many people point out on
my feet that Argentina is very much like the Tom
Brady Patriots of the early.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
You could say that.
Speaker 9 (08:29):
In some capacity. Yeah, but hopefully this will change, you know,
Messi you have to leave at one time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
We'll see what happens. Its gonna be a great game. Though,
great game, buddy. Yeah all right, yeah, call us after
the game, man, We'll talk after that.
Speaker 9 (08:45):
Okay, okay, I'll send a text for sure.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Yeah. Appreciate you, Bud.
Speaker 9 (08:50):
Yeah, thank you all.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Tak's like Tom Brady.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, you know that the best. They just won the
championship already. They have their all star player MESSI just
like Tom Brady, and people are kind of giving them
the show. This is the victory.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
This is so good. Spain versus Argentina, you've got European
chiefs and you've got COPA champs going head to head.
It's so good.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I mean, and I'm sure in some of those Super
Bowls the Patriots were playing some really good teams too,
and then you know they had to help have some
cheating to get.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
I guess flate deflate these balls? What?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
But it's all scripted, right, you flate these balls? The
World Cup, the World Cup.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
You're wrestling scripted. This is not scripted. Charlene. Hi there, Hi, Charlene,
How are you good?
Speaker 10 (09:38):
How are you doing?
Speaker 2 (09:38):
We're doing all right, Welcome to Valentine.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
In the morning.
Speaker 10 (09:42):
Thank you, Thank you, Charlene.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
On your tongue right now on the very tip of
your tongue. What are the words that you want to
roll off into our ears.
Speaker 10 (09:53):
That I'm going to see the back two boys?
Speaker 4 (09:55):
Oh my gosh, when are you going?
Speaker 10 (10:01):
I'm so excited? August fourteenth.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Yes, have you seen them before?
Speaker 11 (10:08):
I have?
Speaker 10 (10:08):
Yes, It's my fourth time at the sphere, but I've
seen them. I went to their residency the last one
like five times as well.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Did you hear Brian Latrelle and his son Bailey on
the show.
Speaker 10 (10:20):
Yes, it was such a fun, fun interview.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, it was fun. It's neat to see a dad
and his son interact like that. Everything. I got cornered
in the hallway yesterday by Kry Steele. Kerry Steele does
the midday show on Coast Win A three point five.
Very nice lady, you've been doing it for years.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
I love her.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
And Carrie walks up to me in front of John Peak,
our boss, and says, are you wearing your panties?
Speaker 4 (10:41):
What?
Speaker 3 (10:42):
That's what Kerrie Steele said to.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Me, Oh, yep, because it was a Thursday yep.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
And John Peak was unaware of what that meant.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Oh shoot, it.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Was a bit taken aback by Carrie saying that.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
So he didn't know that it aired for all of
our listeners to hear.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah, yeah, he had no idea what she's talk about. Okay,
you should listen to the show more. He probably should know.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
He probably shouldn't have what I say. But yeah, So
yesterday Brian Latrell on the show, we talked about no
Panties Thursday. It's something I did in Dallas where that
song Everybody, we changed the lyrics to own no pantis
there's they got it? Come on now, hey everybody, everybody
get in the buff now, just cut in the bob
now pantis there as they got it. It was a bunch
of lyrics and he remembered doing that, and it was
just apparently something stuck with Carrie, I guess.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
And maybe Brian Latrell will incorporated into this last leg
of their residency.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
What do you think about that, Charlene?
Speaker 10 (11:30):
That would be very fun.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Really, you're gonna wave him in the air like you
just don't care, have you ever?
Speaker 5 (11:38):
I mean, yep, no, go ahead, you're about to say
something criminald go ahead.
Speaker 10 (11:44):
My seats are a little farther back this time. When
I went I went for my bachelorette party.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Yeast here and.
Speaker 10 (11:51):
We were in the very front, and I had the
bridehead band and they were all singing. Right, So I
put this fun a little farther back to time with
my mom.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
All right, So you'd have to ball up and throwing them.
Have any of the women in the studio, John, You're
not included?
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Have you ever thrown bra, underwear anything at an artist?
Speaker 6 (12:13):
Never? Never?
Speaker 7 (12:13):
Now?
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Okay, have you? I know you're not a.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Lady, but who said ladies have to be the ones?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
I do that you've thrown your underword somebody?
Speaker 3 (12:22):
No?
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Have you taken up your shirt at a concert?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Never?
Speaker 5 (12:25):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (12:25):
I mean I think that's different.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
All right, all right, well listen, have a great time.
Thanks for checking in, Charlie.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Appreciate you much.
Speaker 10 (12:33):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
What are you doing this weekend? Anything big?
Speaker 10 (12:37):
Nothing?
Speaker 12 (12:37):
Big?
Speaker 10 (12:37):
But I will say that I won the Hillary Dust
tickets last week. Thank you guys so much. I had
the best time. I still waiting for the sound check picture,
but it was the best time.
Speaker 8 (12:48):
Awesome.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah, okay, I'm glad you had fun.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
I do love how you put that little thing in there,
like still waiting on the soundcheck picture.
Speaker 10 (12:57):
I'm going to post it and then I'll tag you guys. Okay,
I had the best time with my best friend. It
was like the last minute things. We have the great time.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
So thank so cool.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
I'm glad to hear that. All right, well listen call anytime.
Nice chat with you.
Speaker 10 (13:08):
Okay, nanks to chat. Bye guys, thankye.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Eight six six five four four my FMS Friday, it
is Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
One O four three my f M.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
One O four three, My fam, it is Valentine in
the morning.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
I want to know what you guys would do if
you received a new license plate. Oh yeah, did you see.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
This sweet sweet cheeks, sweet ass, please squeeze please A
five five s q z A five five. She was
this lady who got license plates like eighty years old
or something like that. Yeah, she's so like, oh my god,
what is this squeeze? Then the letter A five five
looks like s s A squeeze.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
My question is do you think she immediately read that
or do you think she found reactions to her life
and played and then discovered what it says.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Oh, it's about fifty to fifty, Because I think she'd
get the A FI five and the squeeze in front
of it. The SQZ is a pretty common abbreviation for squeeze.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Yeah, I think the squeeze came more clearly to me
than the A five to five.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Really, Yeah, I'm going to write it out on a
piece of paper.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Well, she was going to.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Get a replacement, but her sons were like, no, you
have to keep it, you have to keep it, so
she did.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Dude, I would still have my mom keep it.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, John, as you were saying the A five five,
you might not grab it right away.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Not right away, like it does look exactly like what
it says, right, But once you have it, you have it,
do you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Right, It's so funny. And some old lady gets out
of the car, You're like, whoa, she must have been
a partier back in her day.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
She does in a retirement community.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Okay, Now there's a lot of squeezing going on in there.
They're getting it on in there. There's a lot happening
in there. God, just the other day, the retirement community.
And I'll try not to use the right names because
it's people's privacy. So over there doing karaoke, right, and
one of these guys will call him Dave. Dave on
(15:08):
the microphone goes, Hey, Sean, did you hear ah Billy's
no longer with us.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
I'm like, oh my god, oh guys, I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Yeah, he moved out. I'm like, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, man, Dave gotta be careful.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
You can't leave a pause like that and say somebody
is no longer with you.
Speaker 11 (15:34):
God.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
Yeah, they're living in some of those communities. My grandma
lives in like a retirement community I think it is.
And so when I go over for Easter Christmas, like,
you'll have some friends there who like don't have their
families anymore or whatever. So one time there was this
lady there forget her name, but she just lost her
husband a couple of years back, so she came alone.
The next Christmas, saw her there remarried. She's like yeah.
(15:55):
It was like, why waste any time?
Speaker 2 (15:56):
And I was like, well, yeah, the clock is ticking right.
They're active, man. Joni who's now singing with me? She
wants me to duet with her, so she gave me
some more duets to work on and we closed it
out with you look wonderful Tonight. Oh yes, that's what
her and I do at Wonderful Tonight, right, Joni was
drinking too. Joony had like a little cup of Oh
I should have changed her name. I had a little
(16:18):
cup of something. And then there's another guy singing Margaritaville
and he kind of nodded off in the middle of Margaritaville.
You guys, I think he's been drinking. I'm like, well,
you're drinking. I mean, is there an open bar at
karaoke night that I've missed or something like that? Right,
And there's my mom the whole time. Do oh Danny
boy one more time? Oh Danny Boy? John, standbye, he's
(16:38):
gotten that morning traffic. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (16:40):
John?
Speaker 6 (16:43):
Something?
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Should go lock your.
Speaker 4 (16:46):

I'll tell you all about it, coming up with six fifty.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
If you've guessed sobody in Midwest East Coast checking them
with these horrible fires out of Canada, and we know
about fires is draping a curtain of smoke on the
East Coast. My kid is supposed to be in Boston
on Sunday for a frog camp for his college. They
call it frog camp. That's our mask frogs. Jill was
thrilled when he picked that school. But yeah, the smoke
is just horrific through New York City, through the East
(18:07):
Coast and through parts of the Midwest and everything too.
And it's all these Canadian wildfires, I guess. And then
of course we'll talk about Taco Bell. Did they find
the outbreak? Somebody in this room, their sister ate there
just before they announced it could have been the shredded
lettuce from Taylor Farms at Taco Bell. So we'll see
if that becomes it. But today, before we get into
(18:29):
names like Friday, let's do first ship. Sometimes a sip
of coffee is all about just have a little caffeine
to start your day. Sometimes a sip of coffee or tea,
whatever it is in the morning that you have. Sometimes
it hit different and it feels more like a promise,
a promise to the day in front of you, promise
to yourself, a promise to moments in life. And today
(18:52):
when you take that first sip of coffee, let it
be a promise to you, a promise you're making to
yourself to have a better day. Us struggle day to
day with different things, familial commitments, the way to work
upon your shoulders. Some of you might be struggling with
heavier things.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Some of you might be struggling with addictions. Out there.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
There might be something that's taking control of your life
and you're fighting it, a demon that wants to wrestle
you to the ground and take over you. And sometimes
just that little sip of coffee, just that special moment,
that promise to yourself that not today, not today, Today,
I'm going to fight back. Today, I'm going to win.
That's all you need. And if that's you, this promise
(19:33):
to yourself today means anything. If it hits you in
a certain spot, feel free to be part of our community,
to reach out at our text line at three one
on four three. Let us know you're there, let us
see you, let us hear you, let us be in
this moment with you.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
So first tip today, promise to yourself.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Count us up, one, two, three, Coming up.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Next, John's got leaves a Friday. Who's gonna John?
Speaker 3 (20:06):
We got some Gracie Abrams, Yeah, some Kelly Clarkson. And
then the third one, I'm gonna leave a surprise, Okay, Gracie,
Kelly and surprise. Next. I could give you a hundred
guesses you would not get the surprise. But you know
this person we'd ow now we're out.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Oh no, I hope not. This was in the mood
for weird out after that first sip tam Apaulo, Jenny,
this is Dracula.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Felula three, Dracula.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
It's my famous Valencin in the morning. Ula takes a
bite out of the new music, John and Kumu ge
all right, I got a couple of songs for you
guys today. Let's start with Gracie Abrams. I think this
is the biggest release today. She just dropped an album
called Daughter from Hell.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
And this right here is the title track. It's called
Daughter from Hell. So when you hear Daughter from Hell,
(21:36):
feels like kind of a dark title, but it really
is it. She was just kind of acknowledging that she
was a really rebellious teenager and she thinks she put
her parents through hell, haven't we all?
Speaker 2 (21:46):
You know? And this is her apology song, I'm a
daughter from Hell.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
That's exactly what this song is. It's kind of an apology.
It's kind of an admiration of her mom. She's sang
like I want your grace, I want your courage, and
the last two lines of the song, she says, daughter
from Hell but I came around. I'll try to become
you now.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Oh that's sweet.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
So I feel like if you've got a rebellious teenager
right now, they're gonna come back around. Yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
There was a funny memessau the other day about parents
and the mom was just laying on the ground in
the kitchen's laying on her back, and the title was like, oh,
you have older kids now, it must be so much
easier with older kids. And the moms like, I've never
prayed or spent so much money every day in my
entire life, prayed so much and spent so much new problems.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
You just trade problems for new problems, it feels you do.
Speaker 9 (22:30):
So.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
This is Gracie's third album out today. It's called Daughter
from Home.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Funny part of about parenthood is you do You're right, John,
You trade problems for new problems and stuff. But the
problems that I told this, I tell this to all
like young parents I've experienced, and the older parents tell
me things that I'll experience to that. And there comes
a point in a child's life and it's very difficult
for a parent where their problems can no longer be
(22:53):
solved by a cookie and that hits hard. You know,
usually you fell down, you this or whatever. Have a cookie?
All right, fine, I had a cookie.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Whatever. It comes to the point where those problems aren't
solved by a cookie. At least you're not cleaning up
pooping their pants though, you know what I mean. So
thank you, John, thank you. That's the part that scares
me the most. Okay, thank you, all right, Let's move
on to our girl, Kelly Clarkson. She's got a new
song out today called I'd be lying like kids pooping
their pants for taco bel John.
Speaker 13 (23:27):
It's not dumping, it's.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yod I'd be lying.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
If this feels different for her a little bit right right,
Kelly knows how to make a banger, though, I will
say she said, this is about those moments where someone
insists on believing what they want, even when you're telling
them the truth. And that beginning part right there, she said,
was kind of inspired by Prince that like, and she
(24:00):
kind of like groovy staccato type sound. And then now
she gets into this course and it's like that Kelly
Clarkson anthem that you know her for. But it comes
at an interesting time in her life. She's winding down
The Kelly Clarkson Show after seven seasons to spend some
more time with her kids and refocus a little bit
on music, and today she kicks off the next leg
of her Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas. So this
is kind of a shift in chapters for Kelly, says,
(24:22):
i'd be lying, it's out today art.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
You're saying, like third person, I'm not going to know
who this is. I have no chance of guessing.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
There's no shot. I almost want you to guess beforehand,
because I feel like the beginning might give it away. Okay,
and I don't even know what clue to give you here.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Female male, it's a male male artist.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
It's a male and it's a male who's someone is
relevant at this moment, like they're in the peak of
their relevancy right now?
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Are they alive or dead? Alive? All right?
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I was gonna say, John Dinner Country Road like that, Yeah,
good man, right there?
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Not a traditional musician in the way that you're thinking
it's the rock, not the rock.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
That not an actor.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Not not known for their musician work, but not an actor.
Are they beloved? I would say, right now, absolutely, absolutely,
right now?
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Okay, Tom cruise, Not to cruise.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
That's not an actor, guy, actor, he's yelling at us.
You can guess categories if you want. Not a music politician,
not an actor, not a politician, not an influencer, sports person.
There we go, mess, he's got, he's not. We're getting.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Polistic.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Not keep going?
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Is it in soccer? Yes, it is Rinaldo, not Ronaldo.
Oh god, who's Polisic and bope? Rinaldo one of.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
The most beloved soccer players right now. Here's kind of
new on the scene. Like we're just kind of learning
about this guy this year, and he's a rock star.
Oh belling him? Huh oh what my kid? Yes, my kid, goolin.
You see a genius. No, I'm so this remix is
a Caigo remix. Oh yeah, yeah, I got it. I
(26:08):
got it. Here's the blonde guy, Holland, Holland. Yeah, let's
play a little bit of this first sect. Let's go
out now that I got si.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
This is the hor.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Chance this, let me, let me get this go ahead.
Recorded this at sixteen years old, So that's him when
him and a couple of his friends created this rap
group called float Kings and uploaded some songs online and
wrapped in their free time, no way. So this video
was posted on YouTube and it's called Kigo Joe because Kigo,
(27:05):
the famous DJ, is also from Norway, so it's kind
of an ode to him. And they released this again
ten years ago. So then when Holland started getting some
fame right now in the World Cup, Caigo the DJ
found this song and he said, look, this was right
before the game versus Brazil the knockout round, because if
Holland scores a goal in this game, I will take
that song and create an official remix and drop it.
(27:26):
Holland scored twice that game. So then Kygo took the
song dropped an official Caigo remix of this, like fun
track that a Holland did. This kid's fifteen, sixteen years old.
His friends a rap group called Bloke Kings with a Z.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Right, that's funny?
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Is that not incredible?
Speaker 8 (27:43):
Really?
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Further, I got yeah, I got nothing. Who knows? I mean,
you know it's a sixteen year old project, but it's fun.
The whole story of it. The story is great.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Story is better than the song, don't I think anyone,
even Holland.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
But that's Kaigo Joe. The Kigo remix from flow Kings.
I'm John Komoch. Yes, that's your new music Friday, all right,
six forty six. It is one of four three my fan.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
There's one thousand dollars coming right here at seven o'clock
this morning, one o four to three MYFM.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Here's what's coming up. In entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
A cast member is leaving Saturday Night Live after seven seasons.
I'll tell you who right after traffic entertainment headlines, Rose
Byrne and Wednesday star Jenna Ortega are going to start
in a new sports drama called Nasty and the movie
is going to be about a veteran tennis champion and
her rising young rival. And Chloe Feineman is leaving Saturday
(28:46):
Night Live after seven seasons. She posted a very emotional
Instagram post thanking the creator of the show, Lauren Michaels,
her fellow cast members, and the show's crew. She said
being on the show was the greatest privilege of her
career and leaving was difficult, but she put like it
was the right time to move on. Now. There's reports
that she is in talks to join an upcoming drama
series on Netflix. I'm Jill with the entertainment headlines.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
All right, it is six forty eight. It's one of
four to three MYFM. I mentioned one thousand dollars coming
up at seven o'clock this morning, and that's our one
thousand dollars Philip. Very very simple contest. We're gonna give
you a word. You take that word to one of
four to THREEMIFN dot com or you open up the
iHeartRadio app when you're listening to MYFM. The little box
is gonna pop up on either one. In that box,
(29:29):
you'll type that word. Then you're in the running for
one thousand dollars. And we just just started this contest
on Monday. It takes like a couple of weeks for
people really to kind of get up and playing. So
your odds are very very very good if you play
this reason music one of four three my family, It
(29:54):
is Valentine in the morning. We got so many unique
texts and thank you guys for reaching out. Three one
of four three. We did a first sip earlier, and
if you don't know, first sip is we kind of
kind of salute the day in front of us and
just have a moment together as a community and then
raise our glasses and you know, there you go. This
is good morning everyone. I literally just sat back in
my chair with my coffee in my hand, getting ready
to take my first sip. When you were talking about
(30:16):
first SIPs and making the promise to have a better day,
talked about making a promise to yourself today, I cannot
tell you how much I needed that. This morning, I
tried on wedding dresses and then went to dinner with
my family. When we came out, we found that my
car was involved in hitt and run, which really just
put a massive damper the whole rest of the night.
Your message just reminded me that it's my choice to
make sure that I do have a good day. Love
(30:37):
listening to you guys. Happy Friday, Christina. All right, chairs, Christina,
here's to you.
Speaker 3 (30:43):

it's gonna be sharks flowing through like you know, tornadoes
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
That happens sometimes. John, I think you're right.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
I think you're right because in China there was a
typhoon in China, and this typhoon hit this small village
in China and caused massive flooding. And there were snake
farms and I think maybe alligator farms or something like that,
and I guess they were breeding them there and the
farms got destroyed and they released thousands of snakes and
(32:16):
gators into this village, and they have all the footage
Like I was watching weather Channel randomly the other day,
and Weather Channel had the footage of all these thousands
of snakes poking their heads up out of the flooded streets, like.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Coming down the river, all at the same time.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
You saw, John, did you see?
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Yeah?

It's a new fear unlocked. It's funny.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
That's like shark nadles, like legit. Now, it's a completely.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Different continent than I live on. That's the only reason
that's funny.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Oh okay, those people are that continent and vest he
said Chinese woman John.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yeah, well, I feel bad for those people, but it's
funny in video, just because I'm nowhere near that at all,
I think. All right, do you accept his apologies?
Speaker 14 (32:56):

JZA twenty four. It's valent ten in the morning.
Speaker 3 (01:02:04):
This is one.
Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
A four to three mile family massive water main break
in West Hollywood flooded streets, damaged businesses and cars, and
left a huge sinkhole on Sunset Boulevard yesterday. Cruise worked
overnight will most likely be a long term effort to
clean up and repair. Water is still safe to drink
and service has stayed on, but several roads near Sunset
Boulevard and Holloway Drive remained closed while crews make repairs.
Fishers are still trying to figure out what caused the
(01:02:26):
pipe to burst. Firefighters responded to a brushfire and Eagle
Rock yesterday afternoon after flames spread into a hillside area,
surrounding at least one home while threatening house in nearby.
Cruise launched an aggressive ground at air response, shut down
several lanes on the two Freeway and stop the forward
progress of the fire, containing it to about half an acre.
They were fast when firefighter did suffer minor injuries and
(01:02:47):
the cause of fire is still under investigation. John, what
is trending in music?
Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
Well, yeah, it's a new music Friday. So Donna from
Hell from Gracie Abrams is her new album and it
just came out today. This is the title track right here.
It's called Daughter from Health, and it's essentially titled that
way because she said she was a pretty rebellious teenager
who put her parents through hell. So this whole album
is kind of a reflection of that. So it's her
third album and it's out today. You can stream it
(01:03:12):
on the ihear ready one. I'm John comunci That's what's
trending in music?
Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Eight sixty six by four four of MYFM texting three
one oh four three. Speaking of Daughter from Hell? Were
you a daughter from Hell? A son from Hell? Were
you rebellious in your teenage years?
Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
Text us at three one O four three. We want
to know what you did? How did you put your
parents through hell?
Speaker 1 (01:03:35):
You're on the phone, your god friend Jesus.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
One O four three, My Fami, It is Valentine in
the morning. Eight twenty nine. Adam Wolfson just walking through
the door saying Hi. He was in Italy for the
past week. Must be nice. These people around here, huh,
they're doing pretty well. It's him pretty well. Summertime trips
must be nice. July seventeenth. We haven't gone anywhere in
my family.
Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
But something's on the horizon. Perhaps, what are you talking about.
I'm trying to give you some hope. You've given us
something I'm not giving something's on.
Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
The horizon for you. Jeff and I got together. We're
planning a trip for your family eight sixty six five
four or for my fam texting three one oh four three?
Were you ever a demon child? A hell child? For
your parents?
Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
This Texas? It's too bad Brian Burton is not there today.
I'm sure he would have a lot to say on
this topic.
Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
He was very bad.
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
He has told us many times how bad he was
as a child, from the stuff to everything else he
got into and then his banned all this hard rock
stuff drive people crazy?
Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
John, Were you a good kid? I was a good
kid until I left home. Oh really? And I finally
moved out. That's when I was like, Okay, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:04:54):
On my own now.
Speaker 3 (01:04:55):
I kind of want to do my own thing. And
then he became a bad kid, and then I just
became like a distant kid. I think your parents like
a breakaway period. You know. My mom got stricter as
I got older, and so I just like your mom
was like really strict she was. So when I finally
moved out, I was like, I'm an adult now, like
I'm on my own, no and can tell me what
to do. And then you find out how hard things are.
And then you're like, oh wait, what does she smack
(01:05:16):
you with anything?
Speaker 2 (01:05:17):
She could do anything grab so it wasn't just a
family spoon in the kitchen or something like that, or
what they call the chonkolas.
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
Sometimes my mom would be like go ahead and like
grab me a spoon. So then you open up the door.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
You got to pick out your own.
Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
So you're like analyzing all the spoons, you know this batchelors.
You're like trying to figure out, like which one is
going to be like the least abrasive.
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
What did you take?
Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
You don't want to go for the wooden ones sold together?
Let me tell you those together. The wooden spoons hold
together like the flimsy plastic ones. Some set so flips
the pancakes exactly right. It doesn't hit his heart like
and they'll break if you're lucky. Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:05:54):
So sad to me.
Speaker 3 (01:05:55):
I feel like this is just more common like back
in the day, you know what I mean. I just
feel like.
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Parents on your day wasn't that long ago back in
the day for you. We are not talking a little
house in the period of time that's like you're talking
like ten years ago or something for you.
Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
Thing. But I just feel like back in the day,
now that I look around at parenting, there's so much
like gentle parenting that it just feels like unheard of
these days, right, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
I think gentle parenting was probably still a little bit
there during your time, just not with your mom totally. Uh,
there was no gentle parenting for me. It was dad's belt.
Speaker 3 (01:06:23):
I remember the first time I saw one of my
neighbors talk back to his mom, and I didn't even
know you could do that. I was just like, what's
going to happen to him? Right?
Speaker 8 (01:06:32):
Right?
Speaker 3 (01:06:33):
And then his mom just like said okay, and then
he was just like he was just talked back to
his mom and she wasn't really strict on him, like yeah,
he was a very bad kid. But I was just like,
that's crazy, Like I wonder if I could do that
right a chance.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Mom's like to see if they just did. There you
see him talking back to his mom. He tried that
stune with me and see what's going to happen?
Speaker 8 (01:06:51):
Totally.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
My mom would just look at me and you just knew,
you know.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
All right, if you were a demon child, reach out
eight sixty six by four four of my or texting
at three one oh four.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
Three Valentine in the morning, one four to three.
Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
All right. The weather today slightly cooler, still warm highs nineties,
mid toper seventies through the beaches for the weekend, sunny
warm eighties and nineties. Seventy five and Arcadias seventy six Marietta.
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 4 (01:07:16):
You will soon be able to play mini golf from
your couch on Netflix. I'll explain coming up at eight.
Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
Fifty some texts coming in here three one oh four
to three. John, we were raised by the same mom, Loel.
We also had to choose our own spoon. My younger
brother goes down a history for breaking the most wooden spoons.
My mom even being more upset because she now had
to replace her spoons her weapons of choice. Yes, John,
I feel you. Back in the day, my mom grabbed
(01:07:42):
hot wheel tracks. All right, we've all had the hot
wheel tracks.
Speaker 5 (01:07:44):
Really.
Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
Yeah, I had those once or twice, which is the
worst because you're getting spanked by a toy that was yours.
You know, something that brings you toy and then brings
you pain at the same time. It's orange hot wheel tracks.
It's horrible small toy. Plastic golf clubs two that we had.
My brother and I used to hide those things.
Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
I had John's childta too. We didn't have plastic spoons though,
so I opted for the wooden ones. Also were arabs,
so slippers were big one too. Oh yeah, my mom
did the slippers too, but they weren't strong enough. I
remember that too though from that previous text they said
they used to hide them sometimes. I used to go
hide the wooden spoons. But my mom's Italian and she
cooks all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
She knew right away, right away.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
You know, she always knew were like there was another
wooden spoon, she knew, she knew exactly her stride.
Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
She wasn't one wooden spoon of spoons missing, and it's
my six inch one, like she knew it was my
six inch spoon of chilie.
Speaker 7 (01:08:32):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
My dad used to make us pick up the belt
or pick out the belt that he would whoop my
butt with. But he was a drinker, so maybe not
the best parenting hack.
Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Yiks.
Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
All right, Liz, thank you for that eight sixty six
by four four of my FM Jackie, Good morning, How
are you today?
Speaker 14 (01:08:46):
Good morning?
Speaker 11 (01:08:47):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
We're doing all right? We have a topic here. Were
you a son or daughter from hell? Because it's crazy
apram song. But then it turned into what did you
spank your kid with? And everybody agreeing with John about
getting spanked by spoons? But what were you like as
a kid?
Speaker 11 (01:09:02):
Oh my god, well it was more like junior high school.
I was literally grounded from like seventh to the eighth grade.
I was so bad I got held back in the
eighth grade. I can't even tell you all the things
I did. I was awful, so bad that my poor
little sister she had such a hard time in school
because she had the same black name as me.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Oh no, so you were the one that came before her.
Go oh, this Smith's sister.
Speaker 5 (01:09:29):
What was it?
Speaker 11 (01:09:31):
My maiden name is Oglesby, the Lord of your Longhorned.
But yeah, I was so bad I made a teacher
cry one.
Speaker 9 (01:09:39):
I mean, I.
Speaker 11 (01:09:42):
Know because I'm so sweet now, right, it's just crazy sweet.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
She does sound nice, But Oglesby sounds rough, doesn't it?
Does it sound like one of the ogles By sisters.
It sounds like if they were coming down, like who's
gonna be here? Oh the Oglesby sisters. Oh god, So
then you're the first one in you cause all the problems.
You're firs to market, so to speak. Your sister comes in.
Oh another ogles Bee whenever it's like that.
Speaker 11 (01:10:06):
So good.
Speaker 14 (01:10:06):
Yeah, and my mom was like on speed dial, I
got into a fight.
Speaker 11 (01:10:11):
I don't know, it was just so bad.
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
Right, and junior high you did. How did your sister
turn out? Is she a good person? Should go bad
later in life?
Speaker 14 (01:10:20):
No, she's super good.
Speaker 11 (01:10:21):
She's a square forever. She's been a square.
Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
Yeah square. What were you born in like nineteen fifty
or something?
Speaker 8 (01:10:27):
Old you.
Speaker 14 (01:10:30):
Forty seven?
Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
Okay, she's a square. Well thanks, Jackie, appreciate the call.
Speaker 14 (01:10:35):
All right, take care, guys.
Speaker 13 (01:10:36):

And Frianka Chopra says her husband Nick Jonas had a
very strange request when they first started texting. Was in
the very beginning of their relationship. Nick told the story
about seeing Priyanka's face on a billboard. So he sent
her a DM and he said, Hello, I've heard from
a few people that we should meet. I have to
agree with these people. Are you in La anytime soon?
(01:12:14):
And Priyanka choper responded saying, hey, Graham told me so
much about you. Let's text. It's more private because my
team can access these messages. So Nick sent her a
text in. What Priyanka found strange was he immediately asked
for a photo and She's like, well wait a second,
But Nick said he was trying to make sure that
it was her he didn't want to be catfished. And anyway,

based Tailor Farms as the potential source of the cyclo
spera parasite outbreak cyclospora. More than sixteen hundred people have
been affected. At least one hundred and forty five people
have been hospitalized. So reports of lettuce was possibly served
to Taco Bell restaurants in five Midwestern states. The company
(01:16:40):
released the statements saying the effected ingredient from our suppliers
being definitely removed. So why just them if they make it?
If the place is from California, why are we not affected?
