So they're going up the backside. He had to do
a lot of evacuating yesterday and this morning. He texted
me this morning he was still on the potty evacuating
stuff this morning, and he's worried about his countdown timeline.
I believe the procedures like around ten and so it
was like four thirty or something. You text me on
the right end. He goes still on the potty evacuating.
How long does this last? I'm like, I don't know, dude.
Everyone's colon's different, everyone's large and testing is a different

six or seven colnes and endoscopies. Yeah, something with the
same this time. You know, different cameras as far as
you know for sure, different cameras.

Well, it doesn't have to be if you do the
endoscopy first, and it's fine to shove it up to klonoscopy.

Once it gets into the stomach, it's going to be dirty.

endoscopy is the throat, kolonoscopy is the backside. Panoymie, got it?

We're doing okay? What's going on to? What do we

We got evacuated from the banefire in Riverside, but we're
back home and we're all safe. No sexual damage at all.

Oh, thank goodness. How long were you out of the house?
Just a day?

Speaker 6 (03:19):
We evacuated on Tuesday and then we stayed out Wednesday.
We came back Wednesday night.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Got it's the worst, right, hey, how how are your eyes?
Are they dry? Are they itchy?

Speaker 6 (03:33):
You know, not too much, but at first, you know,
we were coughing a little bit or some ash in
the air, but you know, not too bad. Not as
bad as I thought it was going to be for sure.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah. I went to the doctor the day because mine
got really really bad from all the smoke, and unfortunately
the day of the fire, the day after the fire,
I had to do some work outside, so I think
it might have impacted me. Then was cleaning out gutters
because I was afraid if emburnas started in the gutters,
they could go up blah blah blah blah. So yeah,
I was doing that. My eyes have been just so
super dry. It's got low commidity too, I guess, and

the stinks.

Yeah, it's not fun.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Do you have any animals?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yes, we have three dogs.

Oh gosh, you to pack them up too.

That was probably the roughest part.

Where did you go to any back shelter, to somebody's house.

No, we actually have some family in Corona that my
schol was able to stay with. She's a senior, so
she still used to go to school. Yeah, and then
my mom and I took the dogs and we went
to my grandma's house. She lives in Sandymus.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Gotcha. And you get evacuated from your home, you should
be able to skip school the next day, you think, so,
you know, but I get it.

You guys called me on my egg retrieval. You can
definitely call Brian on his colona.

Nobody listened to medical procedure. Want to give him the
grace of you. There is one thousand bucks coming up
six o'clock. Today's the last day with our thousand dollars. Phillip,
come get that cash six am this morning. And one
A four to three my family in the morning. On
a four to three, my Fami, it's Valentine in the morning.

The other night, my kid was doing a capstone project presentation. Okay,
you know what that is, John.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, Yeah, we had to do those in high school
and college.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, So he had that. It was like the big
final project end of the year for his health Institute class.
And there's another kid that was doing something on mental
health and stuff and somebody had said something up that
was really interesting and I wrote it down. I was
learning from high school seniors. I feel like I can
learn from all different age groups, and I try and
keep that in mind when I go about my daily

(06:59):
life that everybody could have something to teach you. So
if you're open to somebody teaching you something and you
recept it to it, you'll find out it's easier to learn, right.
And this kid talked about why not have mental emotional
care built in to our care instead of being something
reactive You go and get you go to the doctor
once a year for a checkup. Why don't we this

(07:19):
country consider going to a therapist wants a year for
a checkup. Psychologist wants a year for a checkup. So
we're very reactive, Like you have a problem, then you
see the therapist. Something happens dramatic, you go see the doctor,
the therapist or whatever or something, or the psychologist. Why not,
you know, after watching shrinking, I think everybody should go.
Why not have that more normal care instead of reactive care.

(07:40):
The doctor is very much normal care. You go, you
get the checkup, you get checked out and stuff like that.
But mental health is very much a reactive care in
our society and not a normal part of care. And
I thought that was interesting and I liked what the
senior had said about that.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Yeah, that's really good. And a lot of times too,
it's just even if you don't think anything is worth
you know, going to therapy for Yeah, sometimes you don't
need anything. It's just so great to have someone who
will listen completely judgment free and you can talk about
whatever you want.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
You're supposed to be judgment three. I don't think they're
always judgment free, to be fair at least. Yeah, no,
I've been judged a few times.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yeah, thats fine.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
I deserve to be.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Judged on what I said them some low stars. But
I understand you're saying, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
When's the last time you had a mammogram?

Speaker 4 (08:28):
I just did two months ago, gotcha?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
There is now. I think the numbers are one in
eight women will face breast cancer in their life. It's
a big number, and they're finding more and more younger
women are also facing breast cancer than before. So trying
to figure all that stuff out now. Obviously early detection
helps and stuff like that, but I think the mammogram
recommendation is like forty or something like that.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Yeah, it's lower now, it's lower.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
And I think from what I was hearing, this is
something else I learned the other day. And obviously I
only know about breast cancer or for my mom surviving
breast cancer and stuff, but younger and younger girls being diagnosed.
And the big misconception I learned was, you know how
they go, oh, well, I don't have any hereditary markers,
or I don't have the brockagene, or I don't have

(09:13):
whatever or something like that. It's no family history. Ninety
eight percent of women, like ninety five to ninety percent
of women that get breast cancer have no traditional markers,
no family history.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, that's insane.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
I didn't realize that percentage was so hot.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, so I do know that.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Yeah, that's very, very A large.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Number of women don't have that family historical markers to
say they have breast cancer. So the story is, now,
if you're a woman and you have breasts, you can
get breast cancer.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Definitely, men can too.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, men are harder because you can't really do the
self examination. Like if you're a woman and you're in
a self examination, and even if you're young, if you
find something, you know your own body, you find something's
out of the ordinary, you should go talk to your
doctor about it.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Yes, but like with me, and I'm totally fine saying this, Yeah,
my breasts are very dense, where like even if I
did have something a lot of women I wouldn't be
able to detect anything. So I have to get like
an ultrasound right after the mammogram. I then go and
get an ultrasound because I would never be able to
discover something on my own.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I think my wife has dense breast too, Really, I
think she does. Okay, I don't think she'd mind me
saying I don't think it's anything that you know whatever,
right that they're not smart, they're just dense.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
What hey, my breasts are smart?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Okay, well, joke at the end there. He was doing
so well that he had to take the joke. Yeah.
So I find that in life, if you're open to learning,
it will find its way to you. That's my point.

She's just busy, man, is that what it is? When
she was here, she started to finish up her dissertation
that she's doing to finish up her PhD. So it's

should happen by the end of the year because she

one would be to teach somewhere.

hazardous materials emergency happening Garden Grove yesterday. Are you in

much this is what you're going to do, but the
ability to pivot, the ability to change, to make a
move in a different direction. If you're going one way
and it's not working. Sometimes just a simple turn to
the left or a simple turn to the right can
get you on the path you need to be on.
So don't be afraid of change. Brace it with excitement
