Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table, a Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
I helpe.

Speaker 5 (00:08):
It's respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
One of four to three. My family, It is Valentin
in the Morning. Good morning Brian, Good morning Bro. How
you doing Bro?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
You know Friday, The Friday vibes are flowing.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Friday vibes are flowing. Laura, are you drawing pictures over
there or something.

Speaker 6 (00:30):
Like?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I look over and I see like a coloring book
of some sorts. Adult coloring is back. When I go
to the memory care center with my mom, they do
a lot of coloring. Get the memory care center and
you can get into it. The other day we painted eggcorns.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Honestly, I love adult color.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Little egg corns and we got brushes and painted them.
Is great.

Speaker 7 (00:50):
Any of those craft stores they have adult coloring books.
It's just like more challenging. It's harder to go in
between the lines and it's yeah, I'll be stuck on
that for hours.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
There's something to it, right, I got it, Doug it
I don't know. So Laura apparently has got a coloring
book because she's up to something. I'm sure. Yeah, it's
a silly video our social media director. Look for that soon. Jill,
how are you?

Speaker 6 (01:09):
I'm good, doing all right? Happy, it's Friday. Happy, the
holidays are almost here.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Oh god, what the pressure of the holidays. You've just
put it on all of us. Oh, there's pressure.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
Everybody's in a better mood.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I don't know. I'm going to get you.

Speaker 6 (01:23):
You don't need to get me anything.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Fantastic, John, how are you?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:26):
This is that time where like you have to tell
yourself that it's time to start prepping your Christmas gifts
and then you don't really start prepping it for a
night and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
That's me right now.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
You have got a lot of press because you have
this girl in your life that you're moving in with.

Speaker 7 (01:42):
Yet No, not yet. She hasn't really started yet. She
how only has a week left, so she better get
started on that. She expecting a ring, I mean someday,
I'm sure. But it's interesting because going back to the presence,
you actually gave me some advice last year, and you
were right about it. Yeah, I like gave her an
awesome birthday and Christmas present. First started dating shot like
for the moon, nailed it, and now I can never

(02:04):
get anything that start small, start I start so small, and.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Is you should know this In the world of legal world,
precedence is a very important word, and precedence in relationships
very important to you go too big too soon, you
can't come back down.

Speaker 7 (02:20):
It's so tough, Like I can't think of anything that
matches what I did the first two times.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
What was the first two times?

Speaker 7 (02:25):
I like, we were listening to music together when we
were getting to know each other. So I made her
this custom vinyl with like all the songs that remind
me of her on the front, all the ones that
remind her of me on the back, and painted with.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
An album cover and everything that's insane.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I might need to do that.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I'm like, what do I go for now?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, but I was saying, like, don't buy her for
carrot ring, Oh no, stuff like that. Don't buy here
an expensive whatever, because then you can't go back down.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
She knows not in the card like creative sentimental that
which I'm usually good at.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
But as we've been in the relationship for longer and
I've like ran out of my good ideas, you know
what we need.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
We need a a good group chat with guys we do.
You know, we'll get some listeners involved if you guys
have good stuff like John there and we just all
help each other out.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
Ask each other ideas that we have done and can't
do it that have worked out. But then something you
can do for your partner.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
That's not a bad group chat for guys. Michael, you
want in on this group chat?

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Yeah, man, be part of something.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, just slide me that vinyl and give it to
my wife.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Well it's got his face on it.

Speaker 7 (03:23):
Oh right, Well, actually, funny story about the vinyl as
I actually still that idea and gave one to my
wife as well.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
No, I'm thinking that this year I forgot about It's.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
A good one.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
That's not a bad one to do that this year.
That's good. So we are in a group chat. Wow,
I gonna see what little songs she likes though you
don't know what songs you were. Her favorite song is
Bizarre Love Triangle, but that's just weird. I don't know why.
And you know, Oh my god, I've just had a revelation.
What huh? This is not good for my marriage though, guys,

(03:53):
Oh my god. One of her favorite songs, Bizarre Love
Triangle right okay, one of her favorite movies. Do you
know it? I can't think of sliding doors a woman
who has two different lives. Oh, oh my god, suspicious.
Oh wow, it's Friday. We're all very jazzed about that.

(04:17):
We're gonna open up this group chat guys and see
if any fellas want to get involved. We can start
it like an Instagram, Like literally start the group chat
there on this show. Yeah, so slide into our DMS.
If you're a dude and you want to get in
this group chat, I like it is it dudes only?

Speaker 8 (04:32):
We like to give sentimental gifts as well.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
Yeah, like we can come the name. It's got to
be like dudes.

Speaker 8 (04:38):
Oh no, I'm out.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I Talia friend Sandaby, she's got that morning trap. What's
going on?

Speaker 9 (04:45):
We got an early morning stickler for you. Two ten
a West. The two ten is closed between day Creek
and Milliken.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
One of four three, My fam, it is Valentine in
the morning. Good morning to you. If you guys want
to reach out, be part of the show. Three one
four to three. I had a coco this morning. I
don't know why a coco. I've got a cocoa in
front of me.

Speaker 8 (05:05):
Coco, sweet, it's so chilly.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Not again every morning?

Speaker 8 (05:09):
Are we going to start off with this?

Speaker 2 (05:10):
What? I apologize? But I thought it was kind of funny.
I really thought you did do at that time too.
You had a coco this morning.

Speaker 8 (05:18):
Coco, I you It's just me, really, it's just me.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Maybe it's just I have weird hearing.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
I'm not trying to do a funny voice.

Speaker 8 (05:25):
It's just my normal.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
You may not be doing a funny voice. I might
just have strange hearings, you know what I mean. Could
be could be me, could be totally it's me. I
apologize you, no need for an apology.

Speaker 8 (05:37):
I just wanted to prepare my soul. If that's gonna
be a thing, it is, okay, But.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Now I look like a do fish. No, no, no,
I do. Oh.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 8 (05:50):
You're not to fish.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Thank you. I'm having a coco.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
Oh lovely. I'm trying to keep it monotone.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Do you remember I hate to bring this up. You
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
I don't know?

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Okay, I do you do? You want to just you
want to just say it?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
When made a voice for your cold?

Speaker 10 (06:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Great, I stand by that that guy are so mad,
But I stand by, I.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Was so mad, so mad, so mad at that of
all things, to give a voice, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
That.

Speaker 8 (06:21):
No, that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
This is.

Speaker 8 (06:24):
You just gave me one.

Speaker 7 (06:25):
There is a reason when we talk about the cold
and he always stands up his microphone like this is
his proudest moment.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
There definitely was not a colonoscopy at that time, because
I haven't had on.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
This is just Coran.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
How's it going?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Everybody looking dark in here?

Speaker 5 (06:45):
I actually think this one's Brian's fault.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I thought that's what he was going to say.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
That that's not what I was going to say. And
I barely remember the cold thing, and it's it's gone
past about that. But no, what I was going to
say is like one of the maddest moments I thought
you've had on the show. Wasn't my fault, but yet
I was part of it. Okay, do you know what
it is now?

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Employee of the month did not go to jail?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
No, that's yes, Yes? Was it the pew pus? No? God, she's.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Going on?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
No, the lot going on? I know. No, it was
a commercial you recorded and then they liked my version better.

Speaker 8 (07:21):
Okay, And it had nothing to do with you.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I was involved, but you were so mad.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
I was so mad because I just did not understand.
So it was the word downhill.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Nailed it.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Now, I've got it, You've got it.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
So I understood what they were talking about.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Well, here's what what made me so mad is I
did about sixty five different takes of the word downhill.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Just for a commercial. The fres downhill came up in
the commercial and.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
They kept coming back and they were like, she's saying
it wrong, she's pronouncing it wrong.

Speaker 8 (07:53):
So I gave.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Them just the word and so many inflections. And our
production guy Tony was working with me on it and
he was like, I don't know. So then they said
they gave up and they're like, can Valentine just record it?

Speaker 8 (08:04):
And I'm like sure. So Val goes to do it.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
He says it the way I said.

Speaker 8 (08:08):
It the very first time, the very first time.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Val said it, just like it, and they were like,
we love it, thank you, thank you, Valentine, saving the day.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I slightly remember this differently now I do remember all this,
but I think you're downhill. To be fair, The original downhill,
I don't think was the downhill they wanted. I think
you said downhill, and that downhill here the hill going up. No,
I know downhill, I promise and I went downhill.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
Yeah, no, I promise you the way I said it
the very first time, the way you said it.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
They loucked out like they loucked at that hurt. They missed.
But so I got the extra friendly fire and the.

Speaker 11 (08:49):
Cash that Yeah, you got the endorsement.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Go to Mountain high skiers are where every skaer slurp
goes downhill.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
You're listening to Valentine in the morningm.

Speaker 9 (09:06):
Listen anywhere with the iheard radio app.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Try my job making your way to the microphone. This
is Laura, our social media director. Whenever she comes to
the microphone, it's comedy right into the mic.

Speaker 11 (09:19):
Laura, all right, everyone, I want to pose a question
to these four people and everyone around the world right now,
No pun intended, because you're gonna hear what I'm talking
about in a second. Would you rather want you to
really really think about this?

Speaker 9 (09:38):
This is pressing.

Speaker 11 (09:39):
Would you rather have Pitbull, as in mister Worldwide, cover
every single song in the world, so that is the
only voice you're ever gonna hear the rest of your life.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
He's covering all too well.

Speaker 11 (09:55):
He's covering the whole Cowboy Catta album.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Just Pitbull.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
I'll never well exactly, thank you, John.

Speaker 9 (10:02):
There's a little preview.

Speaker 11 (10:04):
Or every single artist in the world has one song
that's it. They only sing one song for the whole life,
and it's a cover of a Pitbull song. So Taylor
Swift is doing Fireball. You know, that's what we're talking about.
This is really pressing.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Okay, definitely every artist a cover of a pit Bull song?

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Wow?

Speaker 7 (10:24):
Anything you get different flavors, right, yeah, you get more variation.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Might do an acoustic version of something.

Speaker 8 (10:31):
Well, what's your Pitbull song?

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Fireball?

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Okay, you're going for fire.

Speaker 11 (10:40):
That's the choice, John.

Speaker 8 (10:41):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
The way you only pick one song or something to
that would be the only does a version of that?
Enough pit Bull songs you do?

Speaker 5 (10:49):
You just don't know them off the top of your head.

Speaker 9 (10:51):
You just give me every k.

Speaker 7 (10:53):
Give me Everything's a good one Timber with Oh, is
that the one that goes no?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
No?

Speaker 8 (11:01):
That's giving me everything.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
That's I'll give me everything. That's not a bad song.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
It's going down.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I'm geeing it's going now.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
The hotel room service.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Hotel room service.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
I think I'm gonna have to go with Pitbull doing
every song in the world, the music, the lyrics and stuff.
You want to go to a song that you're relating
to if we're just hearing Fireball all of our lives.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah, but come on, but it's different versions of it.
So if you do Piple does every single song out
there is, mister.

Speaker 8 (11:35):
You have like variety three.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Did I was like, what's up, thousand oaks?

Speaker 8 (11:44):
What would you choose?

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Well, I think I would have everybody. I think this
is the worst example of anything ever. This is like,
it is so bad. There's no winning at this winning
the people fan this is because of our election. There's
no winning. This is because I love people. Come on up,

(12:07):
what do you think we have to have Pitbull.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Do every song ever made? Because then what about like
the national anthem? You know, like.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
The girls are out there shaking their buttons.

Speaker 7 (12:19):
You know, it's pretty electric.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
You can't have every song disappear.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
I guess I guess you're right, Yeah, instead of just
having one song, I guess I right. I get what
you're saying. This is not a world I want to
live in.

Speaker 11 (12:31):
What I would say, people covering every song because I
think he's one of the most talented artists of our time. Yes,
I said it, and I think you'll don't look.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
One of the most electric artists of our time. Want
to him too well?

Speaker 11 (12:48):
Ten version of do Yes and a video, you know,
video clip to follow it up.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I would say, all right, well, thank you, Laura. We'll
see what the world said. Yes, I know they're tuned
in on this one. Get three one oh four to three,
one of four to three, Fami, it is Valence out
in the morning. We didn't get a chance to do
this yesterday due to a technical error. Yeah, but we

(13:18):
have something called Jill's Gems. Jill will tell you what's
happening this weekend that you can do as a single person,
a family, person, group outing, whatever. These are some of
the events going on around southern California. If you ever
have an event you'd like advertise on Jill's Gems, just
reach out to her personally.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
So today kicks off ice at Santa Monica. It's happening
now through January twentieth. There's an ice skating rink in
downtown Santa Monica. The famous hot dogs Dan Pinks is
celebrating its eighty fifth birthday. So today through the twelfth,
they're going to be offering eighty five cent chili dogs
starting at eight o five and then continuing for eighty

(13:52):
five minutes each night, and all proceeds are going to
go to a different charity each night, and they're going
to have different celebrities there.

Speaker 8 (13:59):
So George low.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Ped's gonna be there on the tenth, Henry Winkler on
the twelfth. But that kicks off today tomorrow at Citadel Outlets.
It's the Tree Lighting Celebration. It starts at five pm.
John and I are hosting that. It's the world's tallest
live cut tree. Our friend Spencer Sutherland is performing. Santa
Claus is gonna be there. So that's tomorrow at Citadel
Outlets and it's.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
Free, free for the whole family.

Speaker 6 (14:21):
And Mariah Carey's Christmas Time is tonight at the Hollywood Bowl.
Back to the Future is now playing at the Hollywood
Pantagious Theater. And then I'd love Brian to explain this one.

Speaker 8 (14:30):
He showed this to me.

Speaker 6 (14:31):
Yesterday and I thought it was so interesting. Max Sabbath
and Guttermouth.

Speaker 12 (14:36):
Oh God, I didn't know you're gonna bring this up
in the air, but yes, Mac Sabbath is a group
that does Black Sabbath covers, but they're dressed up as
like Ronald McDonald and Grimace and the Hamburglar, and all
the songs are kind of about burgers and stuff.

Speaker 9 (14:53):
He and eron.

Speaker 8 (14:54):
We're so excited about this, Aaron.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Going to that. My friend invited me. But my son's
got a like birthday.

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Party or something like his own birthday party.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Black Sabbath songs dressed up as Hamburger's.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Dude, you would love the show. It's like, and it's
a little heavier too than Black Sabbath, even if it's
really hardcore.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Dude, I don't think I would just to throw it
out there, you know.

Speaker 8 (15:17):
And those are your gyms, all right.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Thank you, Jill appreciate that. Thank you very much. The
Talia presented by that morning traffic, well, Tali, thank very much.
By the way, for Keith must have breast of all
the traffic out there. She does a really good job,
really good job. What do we got this morning?

Speaker 9 (15:28):
You are so kind. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
I hope I do.

Speaker 9 (15:31):
Traffic has really slowed down as you go from Eastaly
into downtown LA on that.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
One of four three MA FM. It is Valentine in
the morning. We have First Nip coming up in a
few minutes. We have a John's New Music Friday coming up.
Feeling good about that. Haven't had new music in a
while and it's Friday, folks, get ready for it? Right?
You made it to the weekend. Some people setting up
Christmas decorations this weekend. I believe we might be in

(15:58):
that realm. As my wife goes, hey, you know in
our storage unit? Do we have that really tall Christmas tree?
Is that in the storage unit? Because we had downsized houses,
so we have a storage unit, Like I don't know.
I don't know, And I said, is that the tree
that every year I had to take out the balls
to find the one that wasn't working and replace them
because I hate that tree. I was doing that for

(16:19):
years until we got into LED Christmas trees.

Speaker 8 (16:22):
Did that tree get lost in the move?

Speaker 2 (16:24):
I honestly don't know. No, No, we have LED ones.
She has like three trees she sets up. It's people
come to our door thinking we sell trees.

Speaker 8 (16:33):
They're beautiful trees.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
He gave me one.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Yeah, thems them and they're just they're beautiful.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
The one that you have, John, Actually, the lights, it'll
take you forever to get those to work. You might
want to cut those off and restring it with ordinary LEDs.
That's what we figured. Yeah, you'll be fine. It'll be
a great tree. Though if you do that, cutting them
off' is gonna take a bit, so you better get
into it now. You threw it away?

Speaker 5 (16:55):
No, I'm kidding, No, you don't.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I think you threw it away.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
I got in the gard I really do. But I
will be honest.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
I have two trees in the garage and I haven't
been using yours the last two years because it just
seems like such a process to snip them. And huh
So I haven't thrown it away yet, but there's a
good chance.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Well, happy holidays everybody. There's always a one friend that
takes you down a rabbit hole of depression, doesn't it.
You know it is Friday, Congrats and that we'll do
first sip coming up next to John as music Friday.
Get ready to be inspired right after this break.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
One four three my FM.

Speaker 13 (17:28):
Follow us at Valentine in the morning, on Instagram and TikTok.

Speaker 9 (17:32):
I'm going to tell you Perez and that's your traffic
with Valentine in.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
The morning, all right, and tell you how's your night
last night?

Speaker 9 (17:37):
It was great. I did a lot of work.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Actually, what'd you do? What's work? What's work? Work?

Speaker 9 (17:44):
I get to do, like I don't do these like
random fill ins for stations that are like at a market.
And so I was just doing some recording and getting
to be in my little studio.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
And what station were you doing the tal What station
were you on?

Speaker 9 (17:57):
It's it's station in Portland that right now is Christmas music.
So I was listening to a lot of Christmas music.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
There is a station in Portland. Years ago it was
KKRZ Z one hundred Portland, right and C one hundred.
It's one of the most legendary radio stations in the
entire country. It's an iHeartRadio station in New York City.
And every young radio guy coming up that's into pop
music wants to be on Z one hundred one day.
It's a legendary station. It was Z one hundred or Kiss.
When I was a kid, that's what you wanted to
be and grown up the East Coast was just closer.

(18:23):
Never made it made it to Kiss dream come true.
So anyway, I sent out all these tapes, all these
tapes auditioning for different jobs. Right, and then one day
in Waltham, Massachusetts, on Bear Hill Road, I went home
and I saw my answer machine was flashing one message.

Speaker 14 (18:38):
Like, oh is it a girl?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Who is it?

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I was all excited. No one ever called me, so
it's all excited. Hit the thing. I hear, Hey, Valentine's
Kennon Benson from.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Z one hundred.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
I'm like, they found me. And then he goes Portland.
Oh all right, weather, today's sunny, breezy, sixties, mid seventies.
So the weekend sunny, little warm, highest low eighties. Tomorrow
fifty five, Whittier fifty three, long beats. You's got the
entertainment headline's going up.

Speaker 6 (19:09):
A brand new Star Wars trilogy is in the works.

Speaker 8 (19:11):
I'll tell you everything you know so far. Coming up
at six fifty.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Let's do first sip. Six thirty seventy. It is Friday.
These fires, this mountain fire is so oppressive out there
in the Thousand Oaks area. We're just passed into Camerie,
or rather in Moore Park in that area, and so
many people have lost their homes. I talked with somebody
walking out yesterday and they're talked about blinders and how

(19:34):
blinders in life can be so wonderful sometimes because a
friend of ours, we had a mutual friend, they had
lost their home and their son plays in the same
travel team as my son Colin does, and there's so
many people that have lost their homes due to this fire.
And I started thinking about, you know how your kid's

(19:55):
always like, oh, I gotta grab a hoodie for the whatever,
and closet full of I cooties and all the metals
and trophies. Maybe you got over your aysos soccer career
for the young man that lost his home, And I
started thinking about all this stuff that we collect, and
the Christmas ornament that you made in third grade that
mom and dad loved so much to put in the
tree every year, all those things and then they're suddenly gone.

(20:20):
And the blinder's statement is this, and I wish we
all could use blinders at different points in our life.
It's best described in a scenario for my son when
he was very very young and he was going through
some health concerns and we were having by let our
bone Marra biopsies we're looking for neuroblastomas. We're seeing oncology,
We're seeing all different Any doctor that ended with an

(20:41):
ology or an ologist, we saw them. And he was
very sick, and he was inside of hospitals all the time,
back and forth, blood draws like every week, and I
have blinders onto the world. Whatever was happening in the
world didn't matter. I was zoned in right there on
my son. That was the most important thing. These people
that just lost their home and a lot of people
fighting this fires out, they are zoned in on one
thing what's important to them, their family and their friends.

(21:04):
For me, back then, it was my son's health and
my family. The rest of the world didn't matter. There
are so many distractions in life, but at the end
of the day, at the end of the day, what
matters the people you love and the people that love
you back. It's hard to keep those blinders on all

(21:26):
the time. We get distracted by the back and forth
of our daily activities. But every now and then, every
now and then, God presents us a situation where we
realize what's truly important life. If we can only not
wait for God to do that, if we could sometimes
realize that ourselves. I think we'd be better off.

Speaker 6 (21:45):
Count us up, Joe one two three.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
New Music Friday coming up next, Something's gotta hold on
me lady with three my fam It is Valentine in
the morning. Good morning to you guys. I want to
reach out. Three one oh four three is or text
line you can call eight sixt six y five four
four MYFM. Mister new music with the RUCA shirt? Yes, sir,

(22:12):
are you sponsored by Ruca? No?

Speaker 5 (22:14):
I pretty much.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Though you and I wear the same clothes every day,
we really do. You wear something that says Ruka and
I wear something that says Vori or Lulu.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Alright, Hot Radio, Yeah, okay, that's true too.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Free Swag? Hello, all right, what do we got John?

Speaker 7 (22:30):
So, I want to introduce you to a couple of
new songs today. First is the newest from Shawn Mendes.
It's a slower ballad. It's called Heart of Gold.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
You had a heart sadyk.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
Who So this one, he's kind of talking about this
sense of nostalgia of the pain of losing someone who
has a quote heart of Gold here and in this
recent performance he was dedicating this song to Liam Payne,
expressing his grief and then after that it hits so
much differently and so many people have taken that meaning
from it. But Sean's got this album coming out next week.

(23:20):
It's called Sean.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (23:21):
Artists always say like this is going to be my
next album. Is the most personal album I've ever done
with him.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
I really do believe it, though.

Speaker 7 (23:27):
Like there was another show he was playing recently and
he was talking about his sexuality, which is something people
have talked about for a long time, assume different things.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
He's trying to figure that out or something he said.

Speaker 7 (23:36):
Yeah, he said, to be honest with you, like, it's
a complicated thing.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
I'm trying to figure it out.

Speaker 7 (23:39):
Some days I feel one thing, some days I don't,
and I'm just working through it.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
And he's never really commented like that on before.

Speaker 7 (23:44):
So I feel like he's really opening himself up and
I'm excited to see if the songs reflect that as well.
So this is Heart of Gold by Seawn Mendes.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Weren't there like three people arrested in Liam Payne's death
or something? Now, Yes, I saw that.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
Yeah, oh weird.

Speaker 7 (24:00):
So next up year, it's something a little bit different
for New Music Friday. But I think Joe might enjoy this.
It's a song from a new Disney soundtrack.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
Mantait. This one's called beyond Oh God.

Speaker 6 (24:09):
What Lizy on Disguiz.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
I could be crying.

Speaker 8 (24:18):
Early in the morning.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I knew she was gonna start crying. I could tell
this song is just all right. Lest what Desks made.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
There is destiny.

Speaker 7 (24:40):
I will say the vocals on Disney soundtracks are alway
pretty hyper, pretty grand.

Speaker 8 (24:44):
Yes, Mega, I'm so excited for this movie.

Speaker 7 (24:46):
So Wanta two comes out November twenty seventh this month.
That's one of the biggest movies coming out this month.
And the first Malana is like kind of also known
for its soundtrack. A lot of fans are hoping that
the soundtrack to the second one is gonna match.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
Because it was just so good the first time.

Speaker 7 (24:59):
But some of the people who I've worked on this
soundtrack I have said, this one's gonna be a little
bit darker. Molana has gone through some growth, She's gonna
have more complex challenges, and so even this song is
a little bit more intense than some of the ones
from the first movie. I haven't seen the first Malana.
I feel like I'm losing out on it.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
I know if I have you either. I still like
ten minutes at the memory care center the other night.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
Yeah, I don't know why I haven't gotten around to
sing this one.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
It was playing in the TV and I said to
my mom, I go, Mom, what do you guys watch?
And she goes something called Mona so.

Speaker 7 (25:30):
Dion right here from the Monito soundtrack. That movie comes
to theaters November twenty seven, and then next up there
is a holiday release.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Here.

Speaker 7 (25:37):
There's no Christmas stations yet, so I feel like we're
safe to talk about this. But it's new music from
Kelly Clarkson, a song off her new Christmas album.

Speaker 15 (25:43):
This one's called You for Christmas Kiss.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
I love Kelly good.

Speaker 7 (26:06):
So last year she dropped this Christmas album, When Christmas
Comes Around, And so now she's released this deluxe version
of it with a few new songs, and this one's called.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
When Christmas Comes Around Again.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
See Kelly.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
So right, Kelly, she's done thoughts a little bit, she'said
the holidays are here.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
So now Kelly has dropped a.

Speaker 7 (26:25):
Christmas album, She's got a few new songs, and I
bit she's got one of those voices, but she could
sake her run for like one of the pillars of
Christmas if she wanted to, you know, anyway, when Christmas
comes around again from Kelly Clarkson. Full deluxe album is
out now and there's a full playlist of new music
on the free I heeard radio app. You can just
search my playlist in little pop right up. Thank you, John,

(26:49):
you gotta shirt.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
She is good. Ha ha ha ha heye you get
the applications, by the way. Totally random side note. I
was talking to Jill yesterday about something kind of a
heavy conversation was happening with her, and she goes, can
can I call you right back? Like, oh my gosh,
We're kind of in the middle of a friend to
friend heavy conversation.

Speaker 8 (27:12):
It was deep.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
It was a deep, heavy conversation. I was, you know,
hanging out my mom in the memory care center and stuff,
and she goes, I've I just I'll call you right back.
I'm just walking through the gate of Disneyland and I
have to scan mysel.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
Of course, what was she really jugging around.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Yesterday?

Speaker 2 (27:31):
I was dying dying, Oh man, you were getting side gigs.
She's going to be the dancing reindeer or she's trying.

Speaker 8 (27:37):
Out that's my dream in the Christmas Fantasy parade.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
So she got an application for me to be a
Santa Helper, to play the part of Santa. So as
a Santa Helper, she got me an application for that,
and then she goes, can you ice skate? And I'm like, yeah,
that's that's a hard pass. She goes, all right, well,
let me just rip up this application because.

Speaker 6 (27:52):
They have like little snowmen and like little little people
that you know.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Skate around the seasonal gigs.

Speaker 6 (27:57):
Anyway, this specific parade.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
A couple extra bucks for the holidays, just.

Speaker 8 (28:02):
For the holidays, Yes, gotcha?

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Okay, all right, Well.

Speaker 6 (28:06):
One O four to.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Three my FM. Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 8 (28:12):
This doesn't happen too often.

Speaker 6 (28:13):
The CEO of Warner Brothers is talking about Joker two's
disappointing box office. I'll tell you what he said about it.
But after traffic.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
One oh four to three my FM entertainment headlines.

Speaker 6 (28:27):
The CEO of Warner Brothers is talking about Joker too
and it's disappointing box office.

Speaker 8 (28:33):
He said.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
Even in an industry of hits and misses, we must
acknowledge that our studios business must deliver more consistency.

Speaker 8 (28:41):
He said.

Speaker 6 (28:41):
Inconsistency also remains an issue at our Motion Picture studio,
as reinforced recently by the disappointing.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
Results of Joker Too.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
He also did talk about some highlights, he called him
some real bright spots in our studios business, which includes Beetlejuice.
Beetlejuice that made about four hundred and fifty million dollars
and then Barbie, which was huge in twenty twenty three.
And a Star Wars trilogy is in the works. But
this will not be a continuation of the Skywalker saga,
which was the story that was told in episodes one

(29:11):
through nine. This trilogy is going to focus on a
news story and new characters.

Speaker 8 (29:17):
There's no word yet know.

Speaker 6 (29:18):
What it's going to take place or if any pre
existing characters will appear. But a new Star Wars trilogy
in the works. I'm Jill with there and David headlines, Okay.

Speaker 2 (29:27):

Oh how I appreciate your first sip. I love you
and I love this radio station. Another one that's so important.
This week you're making me cry over here, bless y'all
value Right, my mom's house burned down. We lost all

(29:49):
the sentimental things and it was so so sad. Family
is everything. First tip you're just tuning in was talking
about the blinders life that sometimes I wish we could
keep on, but they do come to us in time
of need and time of despair that we realize the
most important things are the ones that we love. You
ever lost a loved one, if you've ever been through
something very tragic in your life, you put those blinders on,
and the rest of the world, your bosses, the problems

(30:10):
of work, the traffic, whatever else is in front of you.
It dissipates and disappears. Right, And we don't keep them
forever because life creeps back in and that's just the
way it is. But we should look for more opportunities
to almost have It's gonna sound silly, but self impost blinders,
to really put them to the side of our eyes
and to focus in on what's important in front of

(30:31):
you what's important in life? Battle of sexes, that's not it,
But that's coming up.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
It's been setting every good.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Nautiful, beautiful things. One of four three mile faminous valance

We did a dam that's where we touched our mouth
and rm.

Speaker 8 (31:02):
We blew a kiss.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
But and no, I didn't know what it was. Laura
makes us do all these dances. God lover. She's a
great social media director and she's fantastic and they have
different sensibilities in Australia and she just goes.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
Trust me, this one's viral.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Well, the radio says in Australia are much dirtier. Oh yeah,
did you know that they really are?

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Well, Australian people in general are much dirty. You gotta
hope that's not offensive to say.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Now Laura's agreeing with it. Nop, it's not offensive at all.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
Nor had to kind of censor herself.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
She censored herself and stuff. She wants us to do.
She goes, all right, so I've got this great video.
Foul you grab the SLAMI No, Laura, we're not doing
that video. We're not doing that. No, it's it's called
the Deli Delicious video. No what So anyway, this video
she made us do that, I'm I'm second guessing my career.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
No, you really did well, like all.

Speaker 8 (31:50):
Three of you guys did really well with that dance.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Well, the dancing videos we want to leave to you
because there should be like dancing videos left to dancing
professionals or grandparents. Your grandparent people get a giggle, you're
eighty five due dance, Fine, get a laugh out of it.

Speaker 6 (32:03):
But my hat is off to all three of you
for learning the choreography like that is.

Speaker 7 (32:07):
Tough, you guys are You're saying this because he wants
to do more of them with you for her.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
And you know what's the funny part about it? John,
And not to go too long here, because I want
you to win that money, one thousand dollars in about
ten seconds, thousand bucks. The funny part is Jill was
a dancer in school. Once a dancer, always a dancer.
By surrounding herself with poop, she is a diamond A diamond,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
I get what you're wanting.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
If I was going to do a radio show and
I wanted to look good, I would surround myself with
like goofball and then I just look better. Wait a second,
Serrita Carpenter, I please please please one of four to three,

Speaker 8 (33:24):
Yeah, perfect.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
I have to be honest. I know what the surprise is.
I have no idea what that hint means.

Speaker 5 (33:31):
Okay, I wish I literally wish I got.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
It in a different way. It is a battle of
the sexes. Representing the men. His name is Rich. He
lives in La Cresenna, works as a sales rep and
enjoys going the sporting events. Rich, what's up, Buddy?

Speaker 16 (33:49):
Good morning?

Speaker 6 (33:55):
He works as a product designer and enjoys trying new foods.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Let's say for Katie, what's up, Katie? Hi, good morning, Katie.
Here's what works. I'm gonna ask you a few questions.
Richj's gonna be asking you the questions. Best out of
three wins. If we are still tied in the regulation,
we go to and nuts are tough tiebreaker question on.
Let us start with the ladies. Hedwig is the name
of the pet owl in what movie slash book series.

Speaker 16 (34:22):
Harry Potter?

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Harry Potter is correct?

Speaker 6 (34:28):
Rich, give me one of the names of Harry Potter's
two best friends.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
Oh, I'm not a Harry Dobby.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Oh he's so close with the Dobby thing.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
You know, Ron and all.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Our current score is one to nothing, Ladies. What would
a scientist that studies rocks be called.

Speaker 6 (34:54):
A geologist.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
That is correct.

Speaker 14 (34:57):

Speaker 6 (34:58):
What British band released as song in two thousand and

single for what band?

Speaker 16 (35:33):
Uh YouTube?

Speaker 6 (35:35):
No, the Police and Rich you can tie it with
this one. What one word police song title is the
first name of a woman?

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Bam? Yes, that's right.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Okay, this means we go to a not so tough
tiebreaker question. Hollerright your name. If they're the answer, your
name will be your buzzer. Wait until Brian Burton finishes
asking the question before you buzz in.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
What would the title of your biography be?

Speaker 16 (36:03):
Rich?

Speaker 6 (36:04):
Rich?

Speaker 1 (36:06):

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Still Rich? What would the title of your biography be?

Happy guy?

Speaker 17 (36:17):
Happy guy?

Speaker 2 (36:19):

Anestay.

Speaker 14 (37:08):
Hi to my husband Jeremy, I love you.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Have a great day, have a great weekend. I appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Coming up, three things you need to know. The update
on the Mountain fire. This thing is so big, it's
explou exploded, and it's threatening more homes. I guess we'll
tell you about that coming up in a few minutes.
Then Tya Frez is the morning traffic and tell you
what's going on.

Speaker 9 (37:30):
Well, the backup in Lakewood has grown on the ninety
one East. I told you about this earlier.

Speaker 13 (37:34):
From Sedan's and su These two full size trucks experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Three things you need to know right now, seven eighteen.
It is Valentine in the morning. This is one of
four to three mi fam The Mountain fire continuing to
grow and Ventura County. It's burned about twenty thousand acres
just five percent containment. Google Maps does a really good
job of showing you the smoke as well and where
it's going for people in that area to understand the flow,
because now with the Santa Ana is dying down, we're

(38:03):
gonna have an onshore breeze. So the fire actually has
pushed northward and northeast a little bit as well. Fire
official say over one hundred and thirty structures have been destroyed.
In many of those buildings are homes, not houses homes.
In my mind, that's a big distinction. The fires moving
towards Santa Paul and powerful winds are making things difficult
for the firefighters. We'll keep you up to date and

(38:25):
you know, as this progresses, if anything is doable from
the iHeart end, we'll do it. We did put up
a go fund Me yesterday. We'll put that up again
at Valentine in the morning, trying to raise some funds
for people that we know that have lost their home
as well. Tonight, LAFC is taking on Vancouver in the
MLS Cup Playoffs at BMO Stadium. The SERI is tied
at one to one, and if LAFC wins, they will

(38:47):
advance to the Western Conference semi finals, where they face Seattle.
The LA Galaxy already advanced the next round of the playoffs.
They'll play Minnesota November twenty third, John, what's trending?

Speaker 5 (38:56):
So this has been some pretty big news on the
internet this week.

Speaker 7 (38:58):
Rey Gun the Australian Breakdown answer from the Olympics, who
went viral for that kangaroo break dance. She's she started
to retire from break dancing and it's kind of because
of how viral she got.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
She essentially said.

the arcade person. Money is flowing, okay, the money is
flowing from the Burton House old and from Sylvia's and

One O four to three my SM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 6 (53:48):
Ryan Reynolds has addressed the rumor that he will be
hosting the twenty twenty five Oscars with Hugh Jackman. He
denied he is in conversations to host, and he said,
historic speaking.

Speaker 8 (54:01):
That is a difficult job.

Speaker 6 (54:02):
He said, We've had people that come before us that
did it flawlessly. He then said said it would be
a dream to do it one day. I'm really just
spending the year writing a movie for myself. You Jackman,
not Marvel. That's kind of it.

Speaker 8 (54:16):
So one day, just not twenty twenty five, is what
I took from it.

Speaker 6 (54:21):

use them as like kind of like a to guide yourself,
but you were not clipped in.

Speaker 18 (57:43):
I'm being honest.

Speaker 19 (57:44):
I wasn't. It wasn't the plan.

Speaker 16 (57:46):
I was just trying to share how fun it was.

Speaker 17 (57:48):

a long day, and she said, I was taking care
of her. Yes, I've been cooking for twenty six years
ever since.

about it. It wasn't like the first time, like you
I held you in my arms or anything. No, it
was the spaghetti.

Coming up. Three things they need to know. The winds
are dying down, but hazardous air quality alerts still an
effect from many areas. And there is also a great
way to check air quality that I just found out
about last night. I'll tell you about that in three
Things you need to Know. Natya Prez has the morning traffic.

Speaker 9 (01:03:27):
What's going up in Tahunga on the t ten Eespheghetti
reports of some large wooden pallettes that are blocking.

Speaker 13 (01:03:33):
The middle from Sedan's and su These two full sized
trucks experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota
electrified raisings.

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
You need to know right now, it's eight eighteen, it's
Valentine in the morning. This is one of four three MIFM.
Smoke from the Mountain fire is causing dangerous air quality
conditions even outside of Interre County. Red flag warnings, wind
advisors and air quality alerts are hitting a lot of
people all day long today, even those far away from
the fires. The fires warned about twenty thousand acres five
percent containment. Fire officials say over one hundred and thirty

(01:04:03):
structures have been destroyed. Now we don't know how many
homes that is. I don't say houses. I say homes
because it's somebody's home, it's their memories, it's their love,
it's their joy of a daily basis, you know, And
we just don't know what that count is yet. Many
of the buildings, though, that were destroyed, were obviously homes,
and we have put some gofunmes up in the story

(01:04:26):
at Valentine in the Morning. There was one that we
personally knew that's up there as well at Valentine in
the Morning, a family that lost their home. So if
you can do anything fantastic, we'd love that. And if
iHeartRadio can do something as time progresses for a lot
of these homeowners, we will definitely do our part and
I'll talk to management about that. Pink's Hot Dogs celebrating

(01:04:46):
their eighty fifth anniversary today and through the weekend. Lamy
or Karen Bass will kick off the celebration today. George
Lopez is there tomorrow committing Gabrielle Glacias is there on Sunday.
The famous hot dog Santa the corner of Bray and Melrose,
also giving away eighty five cent talks. Deal starts at
eight oh five tonight a lasts for eighty five minutes.
Oh and that app I was telling you about where

(01:05:07):
you can check air quality and stuff. If you just
open up Google Maps, you'll see a little thing that's
for layering inside which changes satellite to topography, different things
like that. If you click that, now they have a
thing for wildfires and it shows you with satellite imagery
where the smoke is going. So it's kind of good
that you see that. It's not the all end all,
but it's new on Google Maps. John, what's trending?

Speaker 7 (01:05:28):
So the billion views club is a pretty prestigious club
to be in on YouTube and a new song has
just been admitted into it, Britney spears.

Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
Just cross the billion streams on YouTube since October two
thousand and nine when it first came out.

Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
It's a pretty big accomplishment this week.

Speaker 5 (01:05:46):
Congrats to Britney. I'm John Canbuchi. That's what's training on socials.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
Could you jump in on this the words.

Speaker 6 (01:07:05):
This text says our first date at Jompajuice, when she
looked at me, I knew she was the one. And
this text says I knew when my wife then girlfriend
surprised me with a trip to Vegas to see Celine
Dion for my birthday, I knew I was going.

Speaker 8 (01:07:20):
To marry her.

Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
Jill said yesterday she knew she'd marry Jeff when he
had a sip of water in front of her at
PF Chang.

Speaker 6 (01:07:25):
Yeah, it's true.

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
The way he put his lips on that glass and
just sipped that water and made eye contact with me.

Speaker 8 (01:07:31):
It was in the eyes.

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
I just knew it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
Should we call Jeff, her husband and find out the
moment he knew he's going to marry her? Yes, Oh,
he's at work.

Speaker 6 (01:07:41):
He is at work. I can see if he can
take a call.

Speaker 8 (01:07:44):
I can see.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
We'll be quick, yeah, because I love to hear what
he says. Okay, if he goes, is that PF Chang's
And she was, Hey, Isaac, good morning. How are you
doing today?

Speaker 10 (01:07:54):
Good morning, I'm good.

Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
How are you good?

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
We're doing all right? That moment you knew you're gonna
marry her?

Speaker 13 (01:07:57):
What was it?

Speaker 10 (01:07:59):
I mean, I I was crushing on this girl for
so long and we were at a convention together. I
was about fifteen, and she looked over at me and
did that thing where she looks away all cute, and
I knew it. I told myself. I was like, she's
gonna be the one. I'm gonna marry her. And years
later I did stop it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
That's crazy. What type of convention was this, because you
guys were so young.

Speaker 17 (01:08:22):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 10 (01:08:23):
It was a Bible convention. It's something that we do
like once a year. But yeah, so she was sitting
not too far away from me and just kept looking.

Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
Over at me.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
She was giving you mad eyes at a Bible convention.

Speaker 3 (01:08:34):
Is that loud?

Speaker 16 (01:08:38):
Know it happened.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
You guys made a quick exodus, didn't you. All right, Isaac,
thanks for calling man. We appreciate you. Yeah, no problem,
all right, bye bye eight sixty six five four to FOURFM.
You know my mom, she would tell the story that
she knew she was going to marry my dad the
minute he walked in the room, and it was at
a funeral, which is, you know, a whole backstory to that.

(01:09:00):
But the Irish, you know, funerals are kind of like, yeah,
it's a chance to date too minus one. But yeah,
the minute he walked to the room, she said, I'm
gonna marry that guy. And she didn't. They were married
for fifty plus years.

Speaker 8 (01:09:11):
It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
It's crazy, right, everyone's got a story. Eight sixty six

Speaker 9 (01:09:25):
I'm gonna tell you Prez and that's a traffic with
Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
All right, it is eight thirty one, It's Valentine in
the Morning, Natalia. If your guy was answering the moment
he knew he was gonna marry you, what would it be?

Speaker 9 (01:09:38):
You know, he might say something different. But I think
it's because a few months into a stating he tore
his achilles and I was all about playing like nurse,
like being there for him, and I would go grocery
shopping for him, I cooked for him, I helped drive
him he couldn't drive, And so I think like during
that time, he saw that I really cared about him,
and I wasn't until like, oh, you have to take
me out on dates non stop.

Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
You know, you were into being a caregiver, you were
into sickness and health. Yeah, that's nice that you want
to say that, though, Oh he won't say that. No, No,
he'll be like, oh, I don't know, I love you, okay,
all right, Well, sure he loves how you portray him.

the love they shared, it showed me that your parents
did a great example, and I knew that you would
love me as much as they loved each other.

Speaker 17 (01:11:37):
Well, you're exactly right.

Speaker 16 (01:11:39):
I will always love you that much. There's not many

eat does every day of his life. Right, So we
thought it'd be cute to ask you, Jenny, what was
the moment you knew you were going to marry Kenny.

Speaker 18 (01:16:04):
I so we eloped in Vegas, like in our pajamas.
So I don't think I really knew.

Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
You weren't asleep. Not the romantic story that we had
Kenny walk down the stairs for stairs for that cat.

Speaker 18 (01:16:27):
Well, like I mean, Jill had like the most beautiful
like story and I'm like, I love it. I was
obsessed with her wedding and I'm like, that's cute.

Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
I love ita.

Speaker 2 (01:16:41):
PF Chang Yeah no, But it.

Speaker 8 (01:16:42):
Was just his eyes. His eyes made me know.

Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
Well, let me tell you, Jill, I have received a
text from your husband. I will be reading on the
air next Jenny about the moment he knew he was
going to marry you.

Speaker 8 (01:16:56):
Okay, will it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:56):
Be just as romantic? Get water at PF changs.

Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming up.

Speaker 6 (01:17:03):
In entertainment headlines, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fans are
upset about a Jeopardy clue that was used.

Speaker 3 (01:17:11):
On the show.

Speaker 8 (01:17:12):
I'll tell you why. Coming up after Travis.

Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
One O four to three my FM Entertainment Headlines.

Speaker 6 (01:17:18):
Sister Act three is on the way and will be
Goldberg said, with the passing of Maggie Smith at the
age of eighty nine. They have had to do some
readjustments in the development. So she has said in interviews
in the past that they were holding that space for her.
She would have that job if she wanted to come back.
She was in the first two movies. But what be
Goldberg says now readjustments have to be made from my

(01:17:41):
friend and former co stars said, but we will get
it done. It's just a shift. But Sister Ac three
is still on track. And Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey
fans are a little upset at Jeopardy for a clue
that they just had. It was in the category called
the TV show in question, and it was a two
hundred dollars clue, and it was are you smarter than

(01:18:03):
a celebrity? Is hosted by this man who's maybe more
famous as a boyfriend than as a three time Super
Bowl champ, And of course that is who is Travis Kelcey. Well,
Taylor Swift fans aren't said about this, thinking it's shade,
But I mean, I am a huge Taylor Swift fan.
I love her with Travis Kelsey, but he has a
lot of fame for being with Taylor Swift, So it

(01:18:26):
makes sense.

Speaker 8 (01:18:26):
I'm Jill with her and tam of headlines.

Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
Comeing up, your chance to hang with Justin Timberlake, and
it's in my free ticket Friday. We have those tickets.
What what's that face?

Speaker 8 (01:18:39):
He asked you to mention that, and I totally forgot.
So I looked at him like, oh, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
Oh you're apologize if not mentioned she's in trouble and
you were supposed to mention it during the understanding to.

Speaker 6 (01:18:52):
Mention it first thing in my headlines.

Speaker 8 (01:18:55):
I totally forgot what I did.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
Apologized sorry, Honda Center.

Speaker 6 (01:18:59):
Do you want to say that part at Honda Center?

Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
So that's coming up any moment right here on my FM.
Right bend that microphone, Cerga right ahead. Adam Wolfson comes
to the microphone. He was listening in the hallway. He's
a big fan of MYFM. He's a senior vice president
of sales for iHeart Media, Los Angeles. The moment you
knew you're going to marry your wife. The moment I
knew I was gonna marry my wife was the moment
I met her. I met her in my college dorm room.

(01:19:22):
She was sitting with some of my friends all hanging
out from after a party. I walked in, I said
hello to her. We spoke about two minutes. I went
downstairs and I spoke to my friends. I said, there's
a woman upstairs.

Speaker 20 (01:19:32):
I'm going to marry her upstairs and going to marry her. Yes,
and she come back to that house with another guy.
She may have come back to that house. That's not
the story that we tell our kids. We said, mommy
and Daddy met at a bar.

Speaker 2 (01:19:46):
Not so much better.

Speaker 20 (01:19:47):
Well, it's better than mommy meeting daddy when mommy came
home with another guy.

Speaker 2 (01:19:52):
This is a little more PG.

Speaker 20 (01:19:54):
Right right, Well, thank you for sharing that. That's a
that's a story. Yeah, you just I just knew she
shouldn't be the one that can tolerate me.

Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
Well, I have the moment that Jeff, Jill's husband, knew
that he was going to marry her. I've been texted
this from Jeff because he couldn't make an appearance today
in the show. Yes, hey, buddy, the moment I knew
that's his voice. The moment I knew I was going
to marry Jill was in the first few weeks we

(01:20:24):
were talking. We sent photos of our homes to each other.
And she showed me her cabinet, her liesol cabinet, all
straight and organized. And he's got pictures of you've got lyesol,
like three or four different flavors or sense of ice

(01:20:46):
right next to her microfibers stainless steel cloth. And oh,
my gosh, it's hilarious. He did write something else, th Jill,
don't worry, okay. He also wrote the serious answer is
I knew I was going to marry Jill the first
time I saw her with her nieces. She treated the
center of world and gave them so much love. I
knew that her heart was filled with genuine love. And
then she valued family like I'd always wanted.

Speaker 9 (01:21:07):
Oh that's so sweet.

Speaker 8 (01:21:10):
Yeah, oh I love that.

Speaker 2 (01:21:14):
Another text, he's a clean guy. Another one coming in.

Speaker 8 (01:21:18):
Another text.

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
Actually all three of us are getting it, gentlemen, Can
we read it at the same time. All right, let's
read it the same time. Here it is.

Speaker 6 (01:21:27):
Everywhere He did not there is Jeff did not text
you that.

Speaker 2 (01:21:33):
I don't know text the worder pictures. You're not part
of the show. You were just you were just stopping by.
You're not like part of the cast.

Speaker 20 (01:21:42):
Now, you know, oh those Jeff's text and those other
people wake up to the center.

Speaker 1 (01:21:52):
That's what makes you.

Speaker 6 (01:21:56):
Morning.

Speaker 18 (01:21:57):
Sean.

Speaker 17 (01:21:59):
Yeah, good morning.

Speaker 8 (01:22:00):
How you doing.

Speaker 17 (01:22:01):
How I'm doing fantastic?

Speaker 16 (01:22:02):
How are you doing?

Speaker 6 (01:22:03):
We're doing great. You're about to be more fantastic. You're
college twenty you win?

Speaker 17 (01:22:07):
Oh all right, thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:22:10):
You got a pair of tickets to see justin Timberlake
at the Honda Center.

Speaker 8 (01:22:14):

Speaker 6 (01:22:20):

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Guys.

Speaker 6 (01:22:23):
Thanks Sean.

Speaker 2 (01:22:24):
Where are you calling it from where you at?

Speaker 17 (01:22:26):
I'm in Ontario, but I live in the Riverside Way,
way out Riverside, Chirst the Honda Center.

Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
It's just great news for you then, because it's close, right,
Yeah it is.

Speaker 17 (01:22:37):
It is fairly close to the ninety one or sixty
I can take across. But yes, Valentine, I did hear
you talk about Riverside being way out here?

Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
So yeah, well I didn't say it was like way
out there, did I? I mean maybe a little bit.

Speaker 17 (01:22:50):
I will play back to cape, but I think you
may have said it's way out there.

Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
It's out there. I mean I do know somebody that
lives in Riverside, so I do though, and that person
drives a long way to get to work. Yeah, but
the hours are pretty good, so the traffic's not there
in the morning when Jill drives from Riverside.

Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Not bad.

Speaker 2 (01:23:11):
Shown you guys like that when people do Riverside.

Speaker 4 (01:23:14):
So you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:17):
Know, when someone says Riverside, no matter where you are
in life, you're supposed to go.

Speaker 5 (01:23:21):
It happens all the time out there, right, No, it's
west side, west.

Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
Side, Okay, just check it out. All right, Listen, you're
all said, hang on, we'll get to take.

Speaker 17 (01:23:32):
Care of Okay, I appreciate it. Guys, have a wonderful weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:23:36):
Alright, you too, man. I often wonder if people think
about their appearance in Valentine in the morning and how
it was going to go, and then they hear it
back and go not the way I thought it was
going to go. What a train wreck. We have tickets
all day long. By the way, my free ticket Friday.

Speaker 6 (01:23:51):
We'll tell you when the call and when you have
tickets to see justin Timberlake all day today. And who
knows it could happen again on our show four ten o'clock,
just saying on a.

Speaker 8 (01:24:03):
Time the film Mistakes Ago was good.

Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
Good, it's soil leus Capaldi someone you love one of
four three MIFM John You had reported a number of
months ago that maybe we could expect music from him
again or maybe he was trying to do stuff again.
What was the latest with that.

Speaker 7 (01:24:22):
There was some photo of him in the studio with
a guitar, okay, and I know he'd taken a break
from music, so people maybe he was like warming back
into it.

Speaker 5 (01:24:28):
So we haven't heard anything since.

Speaker 2 (01:24:30):
God one of our favorite concerts as a team was
seeing him. Uh where was it at Greek? That's right,
when's the Greek had a great time. He met us backstage,
he knows all of us, just a sweet guy, made
us feel at home, and then put on an amazing
show and then was having a few health concerns during
the show and the audience was finishing the songs for him.
Yea beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Some of you ducked out early.

(01:24:53):
I don't want to mention who, but it was absolutely beautiful.

Speaker 3 (01:24:56):
It was a weeknight, okay, it was a weeknight. Yeah,
are we lame?

Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
Like as the sh showing on.

Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
A little less of us were left.

Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
What who is there? To the end? Wasn't I stayed
the longest, which is shocking, say the longest? No, you
duck two?

Speaker 5 (01:25:08):
I ducked like two songs before.

Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
Was anybody with me at the end? It was just me, Laura,
you and I stayed Laura. Yes, Champs Jams John p
ducked pretty early too. Anyway, I hope he has any
music coming out because I absolutely love that guy. It's
nine twenty one. It is Valentide of the morning. This
one of four to three MYFM. So much happened today.
We announced Knots Mary Farm is back.

Speaker 6 (01:25:30):
Yes, our private holiday party.

Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
You can win tickets to that all week and long
here in MIFM. It's also my free ticket Friday. We
got tickets for justin Timberlake just around the way. You've
been like ten minutes to give another pair of those.
So that's happening all day long today as well.

Speaker 13 (01:25:42):
From sedan's and SUV's to full size trucks, experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.

Speaker 1 (01:25:49):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
All right, it is nine twenty two. It's Valentine in
the morning. The Mountain Fire is continuing to grow in
Ventura County. It's burned about twenty thousand acres seven percent containment.
Fire officials say over one hundred and thirty structures have
been destroyed. Many of those buildings are homes. The fires
moving towards Santa Paula. Powerful wins have been making things
difficult for firefighters. So now the Santa Anas that we're

(01:26:14):
blowing down, we're blowing it more towards the coastal areas.
Now we have the onshore breeze is coming in that's
pushing it to the northeast.

Speaker 6 (01:26:20):
I believe.

Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
It's just it's very scary and so many people have
lost their homes. It's absolutely heartbreaking. All soccer in that area,
for my son, has been canceled for this weekend. They
played the Pleasant Valley Fields in Camerrillo, so obviously that's
been shut down. Tonight, LAFC is taking on Vancouver in
the MLS Cup playoffs at Bemo Stadium. These series tied
one one. If LAFC wins, they advanced to the Western

(01:26:43):
Conference semifinals, where they face Seattle. The Galaxy already advanced
the next round the playoffs. They played Minnesota November twenty third,
John was trending.

Speaker 7 (01:26:51):
Grammy nominations just dropped this morning, like within the last
maybe hour here on Best New Artists.

Speaker 2 (01:26:56):
It is stacked.

Speaker 5 (01:26:56):
You got like Benson, Boone, Chapel Roan, Sabrina Carpenter in there.
Song of the Year.

Speaker 7 (01:27:00):
It's just it just shows you what a great year
it's been for music, Like every big song you can
think of is on there. Notably though Texas hold him
from Beyonce. She's now the most nominated Grammy artist of
all time. Just absolutely gonna be a huge year for her.

Speaker 3 (01:27:13):
They need to give her the big award though, I'm sorry,
I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (01:27:16):
It's a tough year.

Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
So I know they give her these nominations because they
wanted to show up to the award show and she does,
and then she gets snubbed for someone that does not
deserve it as much as her. That's all I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
Okay, I seek my time who didn't deserve it as
much as her?

Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
Oh my god, the list is Okay Beck? That album
from Beck Fine, it's a fine album. Is it better
than Lemonade? Who was talked about that album since no
one who talks about Lemonade is like one of the
greatest albums ever and Renaissance got for Okay, Harry styles,
but Harry's house over Renaissance is absurd. I'm sorry, I'm

(01:27:50):
saying it. Come at me, bruh.

Speaker 2 (01:27:52):
Do you know what Beck wrote? Loser? Guys like you mean?
Don't feel like that? Poor man? Tya Press? Has he
born to trap me? To Talia? What's going on?

Speaker 9 (01:28:03):
Brian is my favorite person? I got a signaler in
Corona right now. Ninety one was at Auto Center drive
a semi and a car got into a curse.

Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
I can see you.

Speaker 5 (01:28:11):

not the track.

Speaker 9 (01:28:41):
A beef?

Speaker 2 (01:28:43):
Yeah? Is it like a a laughing? Is this part
of the troll soundtrack?

Speaker 19 (01:28:50):
Do you hear it?

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
That's just the big Yeah, that's it sounds like it's
a person laughing, like a little troll laughing or something.

Speaker 8 (01:29:00):
I'm sure he probably took voice.

Speaker 3 (01:29:03):
And then just like.

Speaker 2 (01:29:06):

guess a little bit A lot of you might have
heard my mom, Sheila, over the years and she lived
in Connecticut. Now she lives out here by me, just
a few miles down the street at a memory care

(01:30:30):
center for laid out at Alzheimer's. And you know, you
try and find the right place, and we go through
ups and downs and stuff like that, but it is
so nice to ever close. But it is it's a joy,
and it's also it's a not I don't wanst say told,
but I want people to know that are out there
dealing with any dimension their family or caring for a
love one, somebody who might be handicapped, or somebody might

(01:30:51):
have something like Alzheimer's. Caring for them is a very
tough thing. So give yourself the grace and give yourself
time to take care of yourself as well, because you
need to recharge, you need to replenish to be there
for them. We love being there for the people that
we love, but you also have to take care of
yourself and your family too. And I'm going through stuff
like that, so I want to make sure that if

(01:31:11):
you're going through anything, or maybe you new somebody, that
you remind yourself to take care of yourself in that
respect as well. You know, That's why I'm going to
go to don Kuco's today and knock back a couple
of chips.

Speaker 8 (01:31:23):
Delicious.

Speaker 2 (01:31:24):
Yeah, that's exactly have great chips. Is anybody coming with me?

Speaker 3 (01:31:30):
No? I wish I could.

Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
You've got a podcast with Daniel Fachell.

we're telling.

Speaker 17 (01:31:44):
Nough.

Speaker 8 (01:31:44):

TV has to be the quarterback episode of percent Right?
Oh yeah, that is like that's nothing tops that tops

Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
One O four to three my sm Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 6 (01:32:18):
Homelone actor Macaulay Culkin has his next role. He has
joined the second season of Fallout on Prime Video in
a recurring role. Follout is based on the popular video
game series with the same name. And little is known
about his character just yet. It's gonna be recurring role,
but they're saying it is quote a crazy genius type character.

Speaker 5 (01:32:39):

A new Star Wars trilogy is in the works.

This time.

Speaker 6 (01:32:50):
This is not going to be a continuation of the
Skywalker saga, which is a story that was told in
episodes one through nine. The trilogy is going to focus
on a news story and new characters. We don't have
any word when it's going to take place or if
any pre existing characters will appear, but a new Star
Wars trilogy in the works.

Have a wonderful weekend. Be safe out there, Keep the
men and women fighting these fires in your thoughts and prayers,
because you know, we always say, oh my God, thank
you for the firefighters, saying to the firefighters, their families
worry about them too. Their mom or dad goes off
to fight these fires. They're gone for a long periods
of time. It's kind of like somebody being in the military,
being deployed in certain respects, and they worry about them
on those fire lines. So keep them in your thoughts

(01:33:42):
and prayers, and everybody facing that very terrible mountain fire
in that Ventura area. What have we got for traffic?

Speaker 9 (01:33:48):
To tell you, all right, we got some traffic that
is jammed on the sixty west end industry
