The full show podcast starts right now, one.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Of four three My family. It is Valentine in the Morning.
Today today we'll announced he's going to Harry Styles in
New York City.
Speaker 5 (00:19):
Do you already know?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah, it's Billy. Somebody said it sounded like fat Albert
when I did that yesterday. Okay, hey, hey, fat Albert.
But fat Albert wasn't part of your generation.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
No, No, when I was really young, there was a movie.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, there's a fat right.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Then nowadays they changed in recent years. You can't say
fat Albert. Now it's Husky Albert.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Really, they had to change his name.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah, they changed the whole cartoon. It was Husky Albert.
Now it's Albert. True. Yeah, and then they actually have
now it's Albut.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Brian's eyes give it away every time.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
It's really.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Worst ever, what's going on?
Speaker 6 (01:08):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Good morning, it's Friday today, Jill, it.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Is I thought it was yesterday, but it is today,
last night, Friday today.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
No, I know that yesterday, but it is today.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Last night I woke up in the middle of the
night due to sirens and like bright lights. And last
night we slept with everything open, windows, the back, like
like the top door, like everything was open because it
was like it was nice and it was warm in
the house. Anyway, there was a fire across the streets
and we woke up and the house was filled with
(01:41):
just that smoke smell hardcore where nauseous. We brought like
all of the middle of.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
The host fires versus like a house fire. Different because
you have all the plastics, you have all the stuff
inside a house that burned. It was so bad. They
is the house.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
House They got taking care of it under control. It's
just not that bad, of course, it's like a house fire.
But when I left this morning, it was an awful
thank goodness.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
But thank god, it was Terrif you know those neighbors,
no you don't, they live right across the street.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
They're like across the street and kind of down.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Okay, yeah, John, how are you, buddy?
Speaker 1 (02:21):
I'm feeling good man excited for the weekend?
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeow yes, sir, all right? Are you fine as that
late last night Lakers game? Yeah, it was fun with
my son though, so fun. I was on guard the
entire time for water Assassins. I'm like, I don't know
if Lebron's carrying where Luca decides he's playing water assassins
or something. Who knows. The guy runs over comes off
the court with a squre gun, gets me and the kid.
(02:44):
So your son's involved in the game. Did they play
in high school?
Speaker 6 (02:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Kids are trying to squore them with a square gun. Yeah,
and you're they would come all the way.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
To be I thought they're a subcontract. Kids are following
people places. Well, there's money, there's money evolved. Yeah, they
all put into a pod. That's why schools are against us, obviously.
But as the story goes, as far as I know, allegedly,
I don't know, not even my kid playing. Who knows,
who knows who's playing? I didn't even know what this is.
What's a water gun? This money evolved?
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah, but imagine if you jumped in front of your
son and took the water squirt four.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I mean that would be amazing. Block a squirt Okay,
I would totally block a squirt of course. Absolutely.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I'm already a legend because they've got me on video
several times, like finding them outside my house, going all right,
you gotta get off my property. I'm gonna squirt you.
So I've already done that. It's pretty funny. I got
to check out their Instagram account because all these schools
that do would have like a little private Instagram account
where they post up like people getting hit by water
guns and stuff like that and different activities and everything,
(03:47):
because you have to videotape it to prove that it
actually happened. Okay, so there you go. All right, it
is one of four three MIFM four to three or three,
my fam. It is Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Today is February six, that's right, and I thought we'd
take a look at everything coming up for the month
of February. Okay, one of everyone's favorite all time segments
on Valentine in the Morning. What is coming up in February? Well,
I wrote it down for you in four different categories.
The first is sports. It's a big month for sports, right.
We got the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, it's actually the Seahawks. They're playing the Patriots out.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Oh my gosh. That one.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yeah, man, Yeah, you're welcome.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Did you know, no idea. You're texting my family right now.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, bad Bunny's gonna headline. Actually, yeah, a lot of
people don't know. The Daytona five hundred and the NBA
All Star Game also happened this month on the fifteenth.
And the Winter Olympics. Guys, the start today today. Isn't
that crazy that I didn't The Winter Olympics start today? Okay,
so we are full force in the Olympics. Now on TV,
kind of a slow month for TV. The Big Muppet
(04:55):
Show is airing on a Disney Plus and ABC. I'm
really stretching.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
Sho Carpenter is in this really what's his name? Seth
Rogen Like they've been posting clips online. I can't wait
to watch.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Called The Big Muppet Show.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
It's called The Big Muppet Show Special. Yeah, The Big
Muppet Show. It's crazy, a new Survivor. There's new Scrubs,
but in TV not that much. But in theaters a
couple of big movies out this month. There's three big
ones that hit next weekend. First is a movie called
Crime one oh one. I keeps seeing previous for it.
It's got Chris Hemsworth, halle Berry, Barry Kyogan and Mark
(05:30):
Ruffalo Weathering Heights with Margot, Robbie and Jacob Lolordi comes
out that same day.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
That looks good.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
And then there's a new animated one called Goat with
Steph Curry, Jelly Roll, Nick Kroll. That's a fun one
for the family as well. That comes out next weekend.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
And as you go see Malania yet have you seen that?
Speaker 7 (05:45):
No?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Okay, my that I thought you guys are I thought
you said you're gonna go see that? What else I'm
missing something?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
And then Scream seven hits theaters at the end of
the month on the twenty seventh, and then we get
to the holidays. Here we go the big ones.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Valance, what are we still mid month here? This is
a long one breaking them up category Yeah, he's not
how many categories were to go out of Curiosity four.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
That's it. We're on for Valentine's Day of the fourteenth,
President's Day the sixteenth, that's a big one holiday thy
day weekend for you. Marty Gras on the seventeenth, and
this is the Year of the Horse, and also to
what with lunar New Year, this year is the year
of the Horse. It begins on the seventeenth.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
If you're is that if you're Asian or something?
Speaker 1 (06:32):
I think because its.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
A zodiac thing. Yeah, okay, I never got that.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Today the biggest day in February, it's Laura's birthday.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Birthday. Wow, Laura's happy birthday. I would have started with that, guys,
the Brisbane Biscuit. Wow, happy birthday. Are we getting BLTs today?
Speaker 6 (06:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Nice, Laura loves belts, big bell fan. We'll get those today, John,
thank you for that update on what's going down in
the month of February.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I captain all.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Right, Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Nineties to now what a four to three? My fam,
it is Valentine in the morning. Darren's and hoole. Darren's
a teacher, I believe, and he wants to tell about
water assassins, which is a game kids are playing at
the high school level. Seniors all play at around southern California.
There's money involved and you have to you get a target.
Then you have to get that person with a squirt gun.
(07:30):
But this rules about it. Can't do it in school grounds,
can't do it at church, can't do it on the job.
But you know, a kid gets out of his car
in the front yard, you can get them.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
You never know.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
And I'm guarding my kid who's at home. He's letting
me know when he's pulling up to the driveway. You know,
you have to be prepared for this stuff. But drek,
what happened? Someone went down with your daughter with this game.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
Yeah, so one of her friends. Our house is always open,
so her friends will just walk on in, they'll hang out.
And so one of the kids comes up and knocked,
and I walk up to the door. I'm like hey,
and I'm like, hey, mister, can we come in? And
I'm like, of course, yeah, come on in. Thirty seconds
later I hear because her best friend was her assassin
(08:16):
and assassinated her in my house.
Speaker 5 (08:17):
Oh no, the betrayal.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And you let them in.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
I let them in.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
You were the gatekeeper, and you let an assassin into
that house, especially.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
When you have an open door policy and everybody's coming
in and out. And then she actually knocked.
Speaker 6 (08:36):
Yes, and I'm like, what are you doing? That's just
so weird. And then all of a sudden, I mean,
I knew what was going on, but I had no
idea her friend would do to her in my own house.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
You weren't briefed on the situation.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
No, I bet he was briefed. I bet you were
brief Darren.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
I knew they had the assassination stuff. I knew they
were hunting each other down like it resta want yep,
Like like my daughter cut her person three cities away
dinner with her family, right.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yeah, and you didn't think they wouldn't try that on
your daughter, brother. I am out there at flashlights. I
have set up a tower with a spotlight in my
front yard. I laid down barbed wire, and I hired
West Tech or whoever those people are in the drive
around security gards.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
Well, I knew they couldn't do it at school, and
they couldn't do it at their job, and they couldn't
do it at your house. I didn't know the caveat that.
If you let them in, it's free rain.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Right. It's like vampires. If you let them in, they
can do whatever they want. So I've been told the
way it works in my son's school, front yards are okay.
Stuff like that. You can't go in somebody's backyard if
it's gated off or anything like that. NARS has a
little wall around it's we're safe there, uh, And they
can shoot in the garages too. So the garage door
is open and you're in it, you're not safe. Still
crazy man. Yeah, and they can be let in. So
my kids said, Dad, no one gets in, literally, no
(09:58):
one without you asking me first. And so we're that's serious.
Speaker 6 (10:02):
Don't do it now, because I looked at that girl
in a very different way for the rest of the
school year.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Yeah, and she broke your daughter's heart. What grade do
you teach?
Speaker 6 (10:13):
I teach sophomores and seniors.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Oh wow, And what's the class? What are you teaching?
Speaker 6 (10:17):
Government in history? We've talked about this before. Ben Franklin's The.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Man, Ben Franklin's The Man BF and his ass. I
love that. All right, Well tell your daughter, said alone.
Did she go off to college? What was her plan?
Speaker 6 (10:30):
Yeah? Yeah, she's studying some medtech stuff at Long Beach State.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Oh very good, all right, tell her we said hello. Sure, well,
thanks so much, Thanks Aaron, take care, bye bye.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app Let's go one
O four to threem Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Laurence Fishburn has joined the cast of the upcoming The
Exorcist film, starring alongside Scarlett Johanson. This new movie will
be set within the Exorcist universe, but it's not a
sequel to The Exorcist Believer, and it's expected to be
in theaters in March of next year. Then new in
theaters this weekend, We've got Dracula The Strangers, Chapter three,
(11:06):
and then Solo Mio, where Kevin James plays an American
whose dream of a romantic wedding in Rome falls apart
after his fiance leaves him at the altar. I'm Jill
with entertainment headlines on Valentine in the Morning, you saved
(11:29):
my heart.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Oh one of four three, my fami. It is Valentine
in the Morning. This weekend Super Bowl Super Bowl Sunday,
Jill's throwing a party at her house.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
Yes, yeah, we got about twenty people coming. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Wow, did you send out like an evits some it
or no.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
It was so last minute. It was because people were
asking us if we were going to have it. We
had no intention, right, and then everybody started asking Jeff
at work, Brian asked me and I was like, oh what.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Oh, Brian, are you going well?
Speaker 8 (11:59):
I asked.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
She waffled, and then I had to arstly peak to
my other friends I was weaving them hanging. And now
I'm going to my other friend's party.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
You going to the Cluebek party.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
I got that invitation way too late. I already confirmed
with the Viras. I'm sorry to mister Klubok. I'm sorry
to the Ong's. I cannot attend any other parties.
Speaker 6 (12:17):
Well.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I wasn't even invited to the O party.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
No one was really invited. People just said they were coming.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Suspicious again, right, very suspicious.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
You are totally like anyone can come, anyone, anyone here.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
In this room behind these microphones. Now all right, So anyway,
super Bowl this weekend. John's put together some prop bets.
Prop bets are always fun. There's been a lot of
that recently with different apps and stuff that you can
bet on. Not a big better myself, but I enjoy
just going back and forth aout them.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Some of the prop bets I think are fun. I
kind of jotted down some of the easy ones I think, like,
for example, which song will Green Day play first in
the pregame show? Oh so there is a favorite, So
I should I tell you that ahead of time. The
best odds are for American Idiot, because I say that
they've opened most of their twenty twenty five shows with it,
so they kind of think that they're going to go
along the line what I have.
Speaker 5 (13:09):
I think it's not back on the charts too really, Yeah,
everybody listening to it?
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, it'll definitely be on there. But what they play
first is one of them. This one's kind of funny.
Will Bad Bunny expose a nipple?
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I say yes, but it might be like a Ronnie shirt,
like Ronnie who works in a social apartment mesh situation.
You'll still be able to see it, but it might
be covered in a bit of mesh.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
He's reportedly going to wear a ball gown. But I
do feel like there are so many wardrobe changes during
the super who has just worn one outfit the whole time?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
So the overwhelming odds are in favor of him showing
a nipple.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Just water? Is there anything for two?
Speaker 6 (13:47):
Just one.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Going as well?
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Yeah? What color will the gatorade liquid be poured on
the one that's poured on the winning coach? What color
is that going to be? Orange and blue are the
favorites this year?
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I think last year was actually orange, was it? And
then they have like random ones for example, will the
Patriot wide receiver stuff on Diggs proposed to Cardi b
after the game? Oh? Now, yes, it's actually the overwhelming
favorite here. Yeah, really that kind of Are they that tight?
Are they like to be a couple.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Don't really know enough about their relationships. I see them
hanging a lot in cars and limos and things like that.
I know they're I just don't know if they have
a relationship like that. I don't know who knows? All right?
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Should we make some fun prop bets for us?
Speaker 5 (14:29):
No Speedos though?
Speaker 6 (14:30):
For me?
Speaker 9 (14:30):
If that's going to be involved, never mind, Well that's
that's not a prop bet.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
That's don't bet. Yeah, that's not a prop bet.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Well, but well we could bet the Speedo for a
prop bet.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
Yeah, like like you're gonna win money if you win
a prop bet.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
We could bet on the gatorade and then the loser
has to get into Speedo.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
This is why DraftKings ask Bobby Bones to do their

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Let's take a get south LA on the one ten
southbound at Adams Boulevard. There's a crash that's got the
three left lanes blocked. I guess the motorcycle rider went down.
Hope he's doing all right, but it's causing some stops
traffic from Stadium Way and in Sherman Oaks on the
four h five southbound at the one oh one, there's
a hazard reported. There's something in the lanes that's slowing
people down. They're trying to investigate what that is, but
expect some stop and go traffic from Sherman Way. I'm
(21:20):
John Kamuci. That's your traffic on Found ten in the morning.
John used to ride motorcycles, right, I did, Yeah for
about six years. Out of the strangers is.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
That I see them zipping between all the time, and
I know they can go up to ten miles for
our past to float traffic and there allows of split
lanes do all that. But is it at their own
risk when they do that? Yeah, it's absolutely it's at
your own risk.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
But if someone does. For example, that's why I stopped riding.
I was splitting lanes one day and there was a
sixteen year old kid who jumped a double yellow when
I was crossing. Oh, knocked me off. On the freeway.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
Oh my god too.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
After that, I just decided it wasn't worth it.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Jo, It's terrifying. It is really Surrey. Wow, all right,
all right? Six thirty seven. The weather today cloudie cool,
temps sixties low seventy, so we stunny warm back in
the eighties. Fifty eight nor Walk fifty nine, Venice Beach.
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 5 (22:06):
A television personality that we loved as kids and you
may still love today. He's getting a Lifetime Achievement Award
very very soon. I'll tell you who coming up at
six fifty, So.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Let's do first sip at six thirty seven. I've got
a friend kind of going through this and it might
resonate with you, or maybe it resonated with something in
your past, hopefully not your future. But this young woman's
going through divorce and she's got kids, and it's a
struggle sometimes to rectify in your mind. Did I make
the right decision by stepping out of this marriage in
(22:36):
this respect and saying I have to be there for
my kids, or should I have stayed within it? And
she made the right decision, she knew what she was doing.
It was the right thing. But within that sometimes, when
you have kids and you're trying to do the best
you can and what's going to be a difficult parenting situation,
you beat yourself up. Did I make the right choice?
(22:57):
Am I doing what's right for my kids? And you
start to look at the actions of the other person
and you start to think, oh, my god, a part
of this is there something I should have done. At
some point in life, will each be faced with the
moment where we have to realize we are not responsible
(23:18):
for the actions of others. What other people say, do,
how they show up, inherently in the end is decided
by their own two feet and the words are from
their own mouth. We are not responsible for the actions
of others. And a lot of times sometimes we feel
embarrassed for the actions of others. We feel dismayed for
the actions of others. We feel like we were somehow
(23:39):
part of that what they did. In the end, you're not.
You're responsible for your own actions, and you show up
and you be there for your kids. You do the
very best that you can do, and that's all anyone
can ever ask of you. And if somebody judges you
based on the actions of others, that's their problem. That's
not you. You show up. You be the best you
(23:59):
can for yourself and for those that love you. That's
what your job is on a day to day basis.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Count us up, Jill, one, two, three.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Up? Next? New Music Friday? Who's the headliner, John Oh, I.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Would say, Somber is the headliner today?
Speaker 5 (24:20):
Nice Somber?
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Wow, what a buzz kill?
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Jonas? How about you?
Speaker 12 (24:31):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (24:32):
There you go, good old Nikki Jonas. Letty got your
rid of Mars. New Music Friday coming up? It's Valentine
in the Morning.
Speaker 12 (24:40):
Ah, I just woke up from.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
One of four three famous Valentine in the morning. So
I was venting off the air and we all vent right,
you had that powerful first sip and we just had.
But there's something else that was going on in my
life that I needed to vent, just friends about. And
I have friends in the room and they're saying, it's
not I don't have to come on the air and
do a massive event about this. But it's something in
the soccer world that was going around and I kind
(25:10):
of checked into it. Mississippi State University a big school
right for stitate Misisippi r Missisippistate University. One of the
complaints I have about the soccer program the United States
is that we don't give enough chances to American born kids,
you know, and kids that might be from tougher communities
that college might be their only path. So mississip State
(25:30):
University's upcoming soccer team, the entire soccer team is composed
of kids from overseas, from Germany, from Portugal, from Brazil,
no kids from Mexico, no kids of the United States,
no kids from Canada. The entire team is comprised of
foreign born kids. How is that a chance at a
public institution for a kid in Mississippi or a kid
that's out here in Los Angeles. I wants to try
(25:51):
and for a lot of kids that can't afford to
play travel ball or can't afford to be part of
academies and stuff because that costs money, this might be
their only chance at getting in the colleg and I
don't think that's right. The soccer system in the United States
should be taken over by USA Soccer, not run by
nt TOO, because they're doing a crap job. In my opinion.
That was my little vent off the air, and I'm
going and guys, I thank you as friends for letting
(26:12):
me vent about stuff like this is important to me.
And then I hear from John's side Olympic skiers are
getting shots in the crotch.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
Even skipping a beat.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I got two friends on this side, and Laura over
there as well, paying attention to my little event, my
little rant here and John Olympic skiers.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
True, I was very much listening to you.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
You're listening now because I'm on the air.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
No, no, And then I looked up at this news
headline that I get. I guess these skiers like are
injecting stuff into their crotches so they can have bigger
suits for the Olympics to create more lift in the
ski jobs. Yes, they're trying to inject acid into their crotches.
This is all a legend on the German newspaper. But
they're injecting acid into their crotches so that it's a
(26:58):
little bit bigger for the sizing, so that they can
have bigger suits, so that when they do their ski
jumps it creates more lift and they can be in
the airline.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
So wait, so their crotch gets bigger or something.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
That's at least temporarily so they can get a bigger suit.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Oh and you have to go get resize every time
you jump for a suit or something like that.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
But yeah, I can't say which story to not pay
attention to.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Well, the cross story has actually kind of interesting. But
maybe soccer players are put in their cross too. I
don't know what's going on. Check it out. Who knows? Anyway,
if anybody wants to meet me and talk at lunch
about this whole soccer thing, because it's not right. This
is not anything bad about saying, hey, foreign kids whatever.
In Canada has a guideline of how many kids can
(27:44):
be from out the countries, so Canadian kids get a
chance to play. And I does so many kids here culturally,
you know, Mexican American kids that culturally it was part
of their life since like day one, soccer that this
takes a chance away from them too. We have so
many We have a vast melting bought America that would
be great in the college campus, but yet we do
an entire squad in Mississippi from Europe. Doesn't seem real
(28:08):
to those kids, but we're shooting themselves stuffing the crotch too.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
It's a lot of interesting things. Do your new music
Friday to talk about music, let's played this new track
from Somber. It's called home Record. So if you saw
(28:40):
the Grammys this last Sunday, Somber was nominated for Best
New Artist and he played one of his big songs
that night too. He also performed, and he has just
got this massive fan base that he's collected over social media.
He just had his debut album last year, so it's
definitely a name you're gonna be hearing a lot more of.
You play a lot of his music here on my FM.
And this is his new song to kick off this
new era, called home Record. If you like that like
(29:03):
alternative pop sound, I think this is gonna be right
up your alley. So Homewrecord from Somber. Now, I want
to talk a little bit about Nick Jonas. He dropped
a full album today, his first one in five years.
It's called Sunday Best. And this track is about the
sweet things in life. It's called sweet to Me, and
I think there's a lyric you're gonna like.
Speaker 12 (29:21):
It's bucks on the laps on a boom, that feeling
something shut Brady always winning, even if he's being my team.
Speaker 16 (29:37):
That sweet sweet, Sweet Sweet to me.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Any song about Tom Brady's gonna be a head, I
need to love it. Oh my god, oh sweet if
you said something about foreign kids in the soccer program
at college in the United.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
States for me, so's this whole album today. It's all
these stories that have happened in his life the last
few years. But what I love about this album, guys,
is that it was co written both musically and lyrically
by JP Sacks.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
You love him.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
That one of my favorite artists, right, He is one
of the best.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
He's very introspective and stuff, and that's kind of the
theme of this album. It's kind of deeper than Nick
Jonas is used to being. The story about how they
work together is fascinating, guys. So Jp Sacks announced this
tour last summer. When the tour was announced, he didn't
sell enough tickets, so he had to cancel the tour. Now,
when this happens, most of the time, artists would be like, oh,
like dude, to unforeseen circumstances like we had to cancel
(30:36):
the tour or something was ready whatever. He just came
up on social media and he was like, look, guys,
I didn't sell enough tickets. I just want to be
vulnerable about that, and I'd rather be transparent in failure
than pretending that I'm successful. And so that resonated with
so many people, so many artists. So Nick Jonas and
the Jonas Brothers brought him on tour because of that,
and then introduced to Nick Jonas, and then now Nick
(30:57):
Jonas pulled him in and they wrote this entire album
to get other just because of that vulnerability. Wow, and
how cool is that? Like something that was so like embarrassing,
like you can really sell out a tour, and then
that ended up leading to new opportunities because you were
open about that vulnerability. And I thought that was such
a cool story. So this whole album from Nick Jonas,
it's called Sunday Best and it's out now.
Speaker 4 (31:18):
Sevenly soon.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
And then finally hear a new song from our guy
Charlie Pooth. We were just chatting about this track earlier
this week. This is his new one called Cry and
(31:50):
then you're Kenny Gee solo.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
I think everybody we all need more sacks than our life.
I was big in the sacks when I was a kid.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
And this is another one of those manifesting stories too,
he said. He wanted Kenny G on his song, so
he took a Kenny G song and he kind of
like adjusted some of the notes, created this song around it,
put it out into the world, hoping that Kenny G
saw it. At some point he did sent him the
track and was like, here you go. And now he
has Kenny G on his song. And that's kind of
theme of his albums, bringing in so many different musicians,
(32:32):
like I cannot wait for it to come out in March,
but this is cry from Charlie Pooth and Kenny G.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
And of course Charlie Pooth.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Is going to be singing The Star Spangled banda this Sunday, right.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Ken't G, you stud look at you. He's ninety four,
though he's so good. I used to try and pretend
to be Kenny G at my house in Connecticut growing up,
because I played altol sacks. He played pretty well. He
plays a different sacks, but I still no one can
touch that.
Speaker 6 (33:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
So he plays that soprano saxon, Oh my God, and
the way he emotes with it everything in is vi
brodo that he has everything.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
The tonality of that saxophone is hair. Oh, and then
there's dad. Yeah, he gets shots in the crotch.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
You can dream all those songs on the free I
heard radio app. I'm Johnkamuchi. That's your new music Friday.
Speaker 2 (33:19):

in March, and Bill Ny the Science Guy said, I
believe that the process of science is the best idea
humans ever had, and he loved making shows encouraging kids
(34:02):
to embrace sciences, passion, beauty, and joy. And for the
first time in thirty years, a classic film is going
to be on TV. The last time it was of
Oz aired on television was thirty years ago May ninth,
(34:23):

TVs dritted back in nineteen fifty six and usually around
the holidays, but then in May of in the late

Speaker 2 (34:43):
All right? And why did it go off the air?
We don't know. I know she disappeared.
Speaker 5 (34:46):

was something I had to do with the rights.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Really, I believe, and so TV. I'm not aware of
these people.
Speaker 5 (34:53):

Speaker 5 (34:58):

biggest house I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, I checked it out in Zillow. Is a crazy
You can't see pictures of the house because a lot
of like rich people, what they do is they block
out pictures of their house obviously for private reasons. But
on Google Earth you can see a little bit and everything,
and it's nice. It's nice. It's like the nicest house
on that street. And it's a really rich person's house.
John people, right, John's planning on like stealing plumbing from
(38:05):
there and stuff copper.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Pipes whenever I can get my hands on.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
So yeah, so always take a copper pipe with me
whenever I leave a house. That's exciting, dude, you excited

I'm sorry.
Speaker 6 (38:33):

Marie and Anthony. Yeah, some friends of mine. They're going
to at the game. Did they ever give you a job?
Speaker 6 (38:42):
No?
Speaker 1 (38:43):
But like, all right, fine, that's that's pretty good. That's
pretty good argument.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Right there, you're back up picture. He's like, you get
a point there. They left me out in the cold
that one time I was out in the street. I
was homeless and I had no food. I asked Carl,
I'm Marine Anthony for a job, and they said, now,
took me in and held me tightly in his arms.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Now you're root for everyone. Super Bowl's kind of fun.
I just like want a good game, that's all.
Speaker 5 (39:08):

Patriots are obviously under the wire. You know, they are
definitely the underdog in this battle. But any given Sunday,
anybody can win one O four to three MYFM. And
that sums up the Battle of the Sexes too, any
given Friday. Representing the Men. His name is Patrick, living

Which superhero is known as the Man of Steel, the
Man of Steel?
Speaker 17 (40:25):
Will that be Ironman?
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Superman? You've got buzz but yes, the Superman, the Man
of Steel?
Speaker 5 (40:34):
Patrick, who released the song the Man on her album
Lover in twenty nineteen.
Speaker 18 (40:43):
Taylor Swift?
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Yes, all right, nice job, Swifty one on one brother,
nice job. Current score. Guys up one?
Speaker 6 (40:49):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Which inventor is famous for creating the light bulb? Genesis?
Speaker 17 (40:54):
The light Bulb would be Tomas Edison.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
That would be Tommy? Yeah, Patrick?
Speaker 5 (41:00):
What animated movies start with their logo with a hopping
desk lamp?
Speaker 18 (41:08):
Uh?
Speaker 12 (41:09):
Thanks?
Speaker 2 (41:09):
Yeah, that's right, guys up two to one. You got
to get this right. To the men win. Here we go.
What was the name of the ship that sank in
nineteen twelve after hitting an iceberg?
Speaker 4 (41:22):
Tit Kennick catam is correct.
Speaker 5 (41:25):
Patrick, you can win it with this. Captain Jack Sparrow
is from what movie franchise?
Speaker 2 (41:32):
Pirates at the Caribbean. They're living with her. After this,
the Fellas do win. He got it, Brother, Battle of
a Sexest Championship certificate posted on Soul Shoes the hashtag
Valentine in the Morning. You share that with pride right
gay Awesome? Thank you, and you got tickets Go see
Ed Sharon Sofi Stadium August eighth. They're on sale now
(41:54):

on the iHeartRadio app. Just tap the contest tab while
listening to one O four to three MIFM on the
iHeartRadio app and you can win those tickets. Congrats, Thank you.
I've been trying to get.
Speaker 18 (42:07):
Tickets for this.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
Well, you're all sat Genesis. As you exit the stage,
this moment is entirely yours. You take it away.
Speaker 17 (42:15):
Well, I just wanted to say thank you for taking
the call. We've been actually trying for a month. It's
a bit disappointing that I didn't know the first answer,
but enjoy the concert.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
Gotrick, thank you, Thanks gennessis appreciate you. Coming up three
things I need today. Lawmakers in California considering a new
bill that would be preventing. You need to know right now,
seven twenty, it's Valenten in the morning. This is one
of four to three MIFM as you start your day,
I hope it's a good day. It's Friday. It's February sixth.
(42:44):
That's nice. Right going into the weekend, it's the American weekend,
the all American weekend. My god, I'm proud to be
an American. It's Super Bowl weekend. People get the chips.
In Jaim, California, lawmakers considering a bill that would crack
down on expensive concert tickets. It's called the California Fans
First Act. It would cap resale prices at ten percent
above face value. Right now, bots and scalpers sell tickets
(43:06):
at massive markups. For example, single ticket to Ariana Grande's
upcoming show the Forum is going for seven thousand dollars.
It's not a bad idea. It's not a bad idea.
I'm trying to figure out what the drawback is, I
guess the drawback is scalpers don't make as much money.
So still trying to figure out the drawback. I was
leaving the Lakers game last night and they were selling shirts,
(43:26):
and they were selling like, you know, sausages right there
and sidewalking s up. Get your shirts, Lag, you shirt
eighty dollars. I'm good, eighty thanks, And it's obviously not
real Lakers merchandise is counterfeit merchandise. You're right there on
the sidewalk, like eighty dollars. What did the sausages got? Good?
Speaker 7 (43:45):
Lord?
Speaker 2 (43:46):
In addition to the super Bowl this weekend, the Winter
Olympics are underway in Italy. The opening ceremony and the
lighting and the Olympic Torch will happen in just a
few hours. I guess you can watch that tonight. Turk
A primetime special and NBC. One of the biggest stories
is that former gold medalists is still planning to compete
for Team USA even though she tore her ACL last week.
(44:06):
Let me hit you with that again. Anybody who's ever
had that injury. Lindsey Vaughn tore her ACL last week.
Still going to race, still scheduled to race in the
downhill event on Sunday. She's already been back up on
her skis and tested it out. Insane, lady, Right.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
I didn't come in because I had a little tickle
in my throat the other day.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
I bent over to put my shoes on today and
didn't feel good about it. John, what's training your music?
Speaker 1 (44:38):
So this weekend is the super Bowl, and even if
you're not the biggest football fan, there's plenty of music
to look out for this weekend. On Sunday, Teddy Swims
will be on your TV well before the game. He's
headlining the tailgate show that starts at about one pm.
Green Day will play the opening ceremony, Charlie Pooth will
be singing the Star Spangled Banner, and of course, the
halftime show will be performed by an Album of the
Year Grammy winner Bad Bunny Jhannkamuci. That's what's trending in music.

hear the news, Oh my gosh, that was so exciting.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
When you get news about your kid, it's amazing. Any
parent will tell you this. The joy of something happening
for your child is always great. Like I just told
people like in Hollywood, like always, you know, people always
trying to like, you know, suck up to producers, different
things like that. I said, anytime you got to send
a gift to your producer, or send a note to
your producer, or do anything with somebody in Hollywood. You
(47:52):
try and suck up to, which is not a good thing.
But what you should do is take care of their kid,
because when you take care of a kid, you take
carry the child and the parents at the same time.
When people have done stuff for my kid before in life,
it is so much more meaningful to me than doing
anything for me personally, you know. Yeah, yeah, it's important.
Speaker 5 (48:12):
She's a lot of people.
Speaker 6 (48:14):
She is, Yes, she is.
Speaker 2 (48:18):
Karen.
Speaker 18 (48:19):
Oh my gosh, I'm just so proud of her.
Speaker 2 (48:21):
I should be that, Karen. Let me ask you what
hurts on you right now? What needs a little rub?
Speaker 18 (48:32):
Well, there's so many things you can't keep count Well,
let's get this girl.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
I help someone to help exactly, Roy, you got somebody
on speed out. I need a little rub by the
old Achilles. Karen, tele congratulations from us, and if you
want to hang on, we'd love to send her a
congratulation cards, so we'll get her address if that's okay.

in just a little bit. But Raven, thank you so
much for hanging on. I appreciate that. I know you
got to get the class. What's your happy news?
Speaker 7 (54:36):
My happy news is I am a senior in high
school and I'm getting well, I'm getting ready to graduate
in a couple of months. And my freshman year I
was basically a straight F student and now my senior year,
I am a straight A student on track to be valedictorian.
Speaker 2 (54:54):
Holy cow, holy col Did you say you were straight
F student in freshman year?
Speaker 6 (54:58):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Yes, Well I like to because desistency all as at
least how long did it take.
Speaker 5 (55:03):
You to turn that around?
Speaker 20 (55:05):
It probably only took me about a year of being
able to sit down and actually make everything up.
Speaker 19 (55:12):
But it was a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
Well, Raven, hold on, because I mean, obviously you're a
smart kid. You're on track to be validictorian. Best of
luck with that. Congratinate your success. But something else was
going on here. It's not a question of intelligence, because
obviously you can't go from f's to a's if you
don't have the intelligence. So what was causing you so
much trouble to get good grades in freshman year? Like
a lot of kids do struggle freshman year? What was
(55:34):
going on?
Speaker 20 (55:35):
I was dealing with a lot of mental health struggles. Yeah,
and there was a lot going on mentally with me
and so and you.
Speaker 2 (55:44):
Got that straightened out, you got some help, you empowered yourself.
You gave yourself the strength and the foundation, and you
had the courage to stand up for what you needed.
And how much better are you feeling today?
Speaker 20 (55:55):
A million percent better?
Speaker 2 (55:57):
Good for you, Raven. Any ideas in college yet, I'm
I'm to go.
Speaker 19 (56:01):
To JC first and figure it out from there.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
You just save so much money, girl. Good for you.
I try to convince a certain kid of that myself.
Some kids do gap years too.
Speaker 20 (56:11):
You know, Yeah, I've considered that.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
Yeah, that's what I did gap life. Thanks Raven, have
a great day you too.
Speaker 4 (56:24):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming
up in entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (56:30):

the Lord of the Rings. I'll explain right after traffic
one O four.
Speaker 4 (56:42):
To three my FM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (56:45):
We already knew this, but now it is confirmed by
the man himself. Sir Ian McKellen will return as Gandalf
in the new The Lord of the Rings movie, The
Hunt for Gollum. He was almost Stephen Colbert and he
confirmed they started filming in July, and he said, which
is unfortunate because it's winter down there in New Zealand,
because I'm not sure I want to be out there
in the wind and the rain. But yeah, but he
(57:06):
will be gandalfh confirmed by Sir Ying McKellen himself.
Speaker 21 (57:09):
I am sorry, I will be back as Gundolph and
a lot of the rings. Oh, my little friends at
the Shaya, welcome back to your little Hobbit House.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
Love that movie series.
Speaker 5 (57:25):
And there's been a lot of confusion about whether or
not a certain celebrity couple is engaged. But halle Berry
has confirmed she is engaged to Van Hunt after five
years of dating. So there was confusion because in an
interview I believe it was last year, Van Hunt said
that he proposed to halle Berry but she just kind
of had it on hold and it was just kind
of floating out there because she didn't say yes. But
(57:46):
then she confirmed it that they are engaged. I'm Jill
there enter day with headline Yes.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
You are, and you are on the pulse of America.
You do such a great job of bringing to stories
that I probably wouldn't find, So thank you for that.
Oh thank you, Randam. My friend Jill always got the
pulse of the entertainment business. I do throw a curveball
at you if you don't mind, so you can hit
it out of the park here. Oh gosh, what's going
on at KTLA? What do you mean these guys Melvin
(58:12):
two chains, Melvin who always wore an open shirt and
two chains, and entertainment porter love Melvin is a great guy,
suddenly wearing a tie on all the live shots, Andy
wearing a tie. All the guys have been told to
wear ties, I think, and then today, out of the blue,
one guy bucking the trend, Henry to Carlo, does the weather,
Henry comes in, no tie to Carlo. And there is
(58:35):
a whole subreddit going on about what is happening at KTLA.
What corporate person put the thumb of the guys to say,
you've got to wear ties, so you gotta look into that.
Speaker 5 (58:43):
I will look into it and I'll answer for you
next hour.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
Anybody who works for KTLA reached out. Was there a
corporate memo about wearing ties? We saw Melvin used to
have a shirt opened, a couple of chains, no more.
To Carlo is trying to buck the trend.
Speaker 5 (58:55):
Though today maybe thought there was casual Friday around there.
The memory like every day.

it comes on.
Speaker 6 (01:19:32):
So for me, that would be maroon size animals.
Speaker 19 (01:19:36):
I think it's the part where Adam goes like, oh,
something like that.
Speaker 6 (01:19:40):
You know, I don't know whatever that goes on.
Speaker 19 (01:19:42):

Speaker 4 (01:20:40):
One O four three my f M. Here's headlines.
Speaker 5 (01:20:45):
Taylor Swift just released her new music video for her
song op Lighte filled with celebrity cameos, but there's a
bigger meaning behind all of them being in this music video.
I'll sell you what it is.
Speaker 4 (01:20:55):
But after drop to Toyota. We make it easy.
Speaker 5 (01:21:00):
In southern California, it's not just what you drive, it's
what you're a part of. And Toyota stays connected all
around town through local events and partnerships and cultural moments
that feel so cow because we run on community and
Toyota stays in it. From places we gather to celebrations
we share, Toyota keeps showing up because the community drives
everything here beyond the showroom, supporting what people here care about.
(01:21:24):
You can always see where Toyota is going to be
next by following them on Instagram at Toyota So Cal.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
You know, I was part of Toyota being at the
Lakers game last night. Ours part of Austin Reeves going
off for thirty five.
Speaker 12 (01:21:36):
It's amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:21:38):
Oh my gods in the fourth corner.
Speaker 5 (01:21:42):
Get out of my.
Speaker 2 (01:21:42):
Face, dude. It was such a great game. Toyota had
us out there, so Colin and I went out for
a boys' night. He's already picked out his new Toyota
ride because all these Toyotas are out front beautiful. I mean,
just a wonderful partnership to have with the Lakers and
these trucks, the Tacoma's in tundraus just all lined up,
and I met so many Toyota owners and a lot
of more wearing their jackets and everything. A lot of
(01:22:03):
them had to entered the contest before, and it was
just really really cool to go there and be a
part of that, and all the halftime stuff and all
the contests for a Tota owners and just contests for
everybody was a ton of fun. This one girl, she
got out there and went school and people, and then
by the way, in the Tota contest and then by
the way, I know that we've had like ladies females
(01:22:24):
as refs in the NBA for a long time, but
that woman last night, she's on fire. She is so good.
I wish I knew her name. I'd give her the credit.
And she is faster than those players up and down
that court. She is lights out good as a ref.
I mean, she should be the top ref in the NBA.
Speaker 5 (01:22:42):
WHOA, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
I don't know her name. I didn't get to run
down and say hi to her.
Speaker 4 (01:22:47):
Sorry, one four three my sm entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (01:22:51):
So I fell for this. I saw this video on
TikTok and it was basically going viral when I saw it,
over a million views, and it was about Adam Sandler's
daughter going to a Chanelle store in Beverly Hills. And
the video alleged that she was kind of dressed in
baggy shorts and a sweatshirt and they didn't want to
sell her any Chanell bag, so she calls her dad,
(01:23:13):
Adam Sandler. He comes to the store, ends up buying
over three hundred thousand dollars worth of Chanel bags and
just to teach this employee a lesson. And I saw that,
I was like, yeah, all right. Adam Sandler, Well, in
a new interview last night, he said that that is
not true. He said, there's something on the internet talking
about that dumb thing. I've been hearing about this thing,
and I saw it and it's just insane. It's this
(01:23:33):
made up, weird thing. I'm I've never heard of this
in my life. That story was one hundred percent made
up and not a word of it is true, but
he did say every year a story about him going
in and out at midnight and getting a bunch of
double doubles. That story is true. And Taylor Swift just
released her new music video for her song opal Light
My mom Is. The video takes us back to the
(01:23:56):
nineties and it begins with a commercial for opal Light Spray,
which is meant to fix people's problems, and it stars
Taylor Swift and Donald Gleeson. He has started the movie
about time and the paper he's in now. And what's
great about this is Taylor and Domninald were on the
Graham Norton Show together a couple months back. He was
(01:24:19):
also on the show with Lewis Capaldi and Jody Turner Smith,
Greta Lee, and Killian Murphy, all of them on the
couch there with Taylor Swift. And if you've never seen
the Gham Norton Show, that's really what it is. They're
all on a couch. Taylor says, it's like a big
dinner party. Everybody's talking and it's really like some very
fun interviews. During that interview, dominal Gleeson said it's his
(01:24:39):
dream to be in a Taylor Swift music video. So
Taylor posted about the video this morning saying that's how
she got the idea for it, right then and there.
She thought, Okay, he needs to be in the video.
In fact, all of these people need to be in
the video. So that's why there's so many little cameos
from everyone that was in that interview with her, which
is so great. We see a lot of the aras
tour dancer in it as well. So the whole time
(01:25:01):
while we're watching the video, we're like, oh, there's so
so although there's that, it's very very cute. Well you
can watch it.
Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
We have a couch as well, so we'll be doing
a video.
Speaker 1 (01:25:13):
Wow, that's all it takes. Just yeah, a couch for
a bunch of friends.
Speaker 5 (01:25:16):
To hang out, just saying you want to be in
a Taylor Swift music video you never know. You can
watch it right now by visiting Taylorswift dot com. I'm
Jill with an Antiam the headlines, So.
Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
Shout out to Jenna Schroeder that is the referee as
referencing the last night for the Lakers game. She's phenomenal,
been doing it for years. She's great. Just I was
so impressed just watching all these reps because I haven't
been to an NBA game in a while, and it was, uh,
two guys and Jenna, and they're running up and down
the court. They're gonna keep the whistle in their mouth
the entire time. It's insane. Could you run with a
(01:25:45):
whistle in your mouth the entire game? And I was
just blown away back They're all three fantastic, but I
was just zoned in on Jenna just up and down
the court and making the calls and talking to some
guy that's like seven foot thirteen and she's not. Oh
my god, it was so good, so entertaining. Thank you
Todor for that. I do have some sad news so
(01:26:06):
that I'd like to bring to the table, and I'm
not a person that likes to brings sad news to
the air, but something happened in my life in the
you know, in the interest of full disclosure, Well, I
don't think we need that, Brian, Uh, interests of full disclosure.
We're driving to the Lakers game last night. My son
got a phone call and it was a phone call
from a member of his water assassins team. And this
(01:26:30):
kid got one of the guys they were going after
so Collins team gets credit, they get a point. He
got this kid and they were talking about how you
have to take a picture. Then he's send it into
the commissioner and his whole thing, and I'm just half
here in the conversation and he's congratulating the young man
who got this shot in this game water assassins where
they get you with a squirt gun, and he's thanking
to him for his work and everything. I'm like, oh,
(01:26:51):
that's great, my kid's team got it. And he goes,
great job, King, you did good, King, you did good,
and he hung up the phone. You thought you were king,
he says that to me. He calls me king in texts.
He calls me king in life. I thought I was
(01:27:11):
the only king. When you find out you're not the
only superhero in your son's eyes, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:27:20):
It's is Sam Smith song in the making. I'm not
the only one.
Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
I'm not the only king. So thanks for being there
for me today, guys. I appreciate that and supporting me
through this difficult time. Letting got in bride Mars died
with a smile.
Speaker 16 (01:27:37):
I just woke up from my dream.
Speaker 4 (01:27:42):
Enough sake.
Speaker 6 (01:27:47):
Of the next.
Speaker 4 (01:27:50):

Speaker 2 (01:27:53):

Speaker 6 (01:27:56):
