Welcome to the breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning.
I laughed heartily. I helpe.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
It's respectful to say I love you.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
One of four to three. My family does Valentine in
the Morning. Starting up the show. Good morning, Jill, how are.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
You good morning? Doing well?
Speaker 5 (00:24):
Very very happy this morning, very happy.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah, look at you, feeling good.
Speaker 5 (00:30):
Had a RESTful weekend filled in yesterday on both my
FM and San Francisco, which was.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
I'd like to be a cousin of the bragging club.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
That brag is this other San Francister? Is that public? Yet?
Speaker 1 (00:44):
It is public?
Speaker 6 (00:45):
Now?
Speaker 1 (00:46):
There's public now San Francisco. I am floing and moving
or anything.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I hope not.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
No, no, no no.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
So we have a sister radio station in San Francisco,
and they asked John and Jill to do some shifts there.
And the cool part is we can do you do
a radio shoff anywhere in the world now basically due
to technology. So here we are. We're always live local
right here in the studio in Burbank in Los Angeles, California.
So we're always here live in the studio, but afterwards,
(01:13):
Jill hosts a midday show in San Francisco and John
is now hosting an evening show in San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Correct, and you guys like pretend to be from San
Francisco when you do that.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
No, No, I'm kidding.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
You go Giants and stuff like that. Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I'm very No.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
No, I'm very open about the fact that I was
born and raised in Los Angeles and I am a
Dodger fan.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
My being born and raised in Los Angeles, but you
say you are currently in Los Angeles.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
No, I just don't address it. You don't know where
I live on that show.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
What if somebody calls up and goes, hey, I'm from Riverside.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
I have a little recording of you guys all saying, Okay,
what I can do is I say my husband is
a Giants fan, so I talk about the fact that
when they playing each other it is a house divided,
and they know that I love the Dodgers up there.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
So wow, Luckily I have Jeff to say.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
That's interesting because my girlfriend's family are all like Niners
fans and Giants fans.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
That, yeah, maybe that's why they picked you to like
the person they picked had to have some kind of
really San Francisco connection.
Speaker 7 (02:25):
Director.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, wow, yeah, John starts tonight, starts tonight is my
first shift.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, does I heeart work us too much?
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Not yet, they don't think.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
They don't think. So oh my god, I'll never forget
and this is too much and please don't take this
the wrong way. But it pulls back the curtain a
bit on the humor behind the scenes. At an entertainment
company right years ago, god Rest is so Sam Rubs
alive and Ryan Seacrest is getting a star in the
Hollywood Walk of Fame, and I was like, oh man,
(02:59):
he's It's like he just started at Kiss. Why is
he getting a star? Because usually you think people do
that twenty five, thirty forty years to get a star
or something. But I think there's the marketing of all
this stuff. An American idol of course, is going on everything,
so it's very well deserved. Nonetheless, it's a great talent.
But Sam Ruben comes to me and Jojo from Kiss.
We're broadcasting live from the star ceremony because they had
(03:21):
all the disc jockeys down there for and Sam Rubin goes, hey, so,
how's it going, how you guys are you feeling about
this about Seacres getting the star? And I look at
Sam right into the camera, and I go, well, we've
all been told to be very excited, so there you go.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
You get in trouble over them.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I don't remember. I might have pushed it out of
my mind too, if I did get in trouble. He
learned no lessons.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Let's bee.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Excuse me, excuse me? Sometimes you know, just whatever. People
know I'm sarcastic. Yeah, but I just said really nice
things about him too, So I you know, I put
a frosting on the poop speech.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
You know that's okay. Don't want that poo though.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, I get it. It's a bad example. This pers
thing came through. It's a Monday, bright. How's your weekend?
Are you sober?
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Man, I'm having a rough time, Yes you were. I
saw like pictures that Diddley d was posting the place
where you went to watch the Dodgers game on Friday night.
It was packed, it was so fun and you were
doing like a lot of soak.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
It was little saki shots, but they.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Didn't look so little, those sake shots. Sake Coming to Stein,
we had so much fun. Good for you you followed,
did d No? I made that up my years as
a detective coming through Jill.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
That was good.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Three my f M.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
One of four. Three my family, It is a Valentin
in the morning. Hey Tony, Hi, good morning Tony. How
are you today? I'm doing I'm doing alright? What's doing Tony?
What are you calling in for? What's your excite contribution
to this broadcast?
Speaker 8 (05:05):
Last week? And I took my mom to Sacramento for
her ninetieth birthday. But what I thought was really interesting
is on the way up there, we were listening to
you guys, and she learns from new words from your
show love It.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
I guess your nine year old mom now walks around
going six to seven.
Speaker 8 (05:26):
No, she goes around saying I appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Oh that a lot.
Speaker 8 (05:33):
My son was helping her and she's like, thank you, Ryan,
I appreciate you. And she looked at her like, oh, Grandma,
that's okay. And now she's calling people love, Oh, thank
you love. So I said that was super sweet. We
listened the whole way up, yeah, and she learned some new.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Different phrases, different words. All right, so I say, I
appreciate you I say, thank you love. What did she
learn from John?
Speaker 8 (06:00):
She didn't really learn too much. She gave her big
music mostly like.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
That, all right, perfect. She knows what to take from
each of us. You know, she's got a good filter
on her.
Speaker 8 (06:11):
Yeah, she was giggling with you know when you guys
were saying something funny. It just melted my heart. She's
ninety with dimension and you guys made her happy.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I love that. So she didn't learn any dirty words.
Speaker 8 (06:23):
No, no, that's how she normally talks.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
We cleaned her act up. That's awesome, Warner when we.
Speaker 8 (06:31):
Go in public. Yeah, children, no, no cursing aloud.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
I love it. Well, give her a big hug for me, Okay.
Speaker 8 (06:37):
Okay, thank you guys for everything. You guys are amazing.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
You got a big hug from Jill as well. Oh,
big hug, big hug from John.
Speaker 9 (06:43):
Assive hugs of course okay, and uh Brian and the
biggest tightest Oh, a big tight hug with a bit
of a reach around that.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I don't think you know what that means. We're all
learning praises thanks to you. Give our best love, ok
thank you. Hi eight sixty six five four four my
FM texting three one O four three, Good morning, Welcome
to your Monday.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Morning one four three my FM.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Maya listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app one four
three My fam. It is Valentine in the morning. We're
talking to Michael Pulman, our producer from New York City offline,
and he's like, yeah, that cookie thing on Friday with
Jill was weird, but there's still cookies in here, and
(07:33):
I know you're eyeing them.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
I am.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Becky had made some cookies for us a listener on Friday,
very sweet lady and a friend of the show, and
she brings up these cookies and Jill was just enamored
by this cookie.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Oh they were gluten free, which typically a gluten free
cookie is not the best tasting cookie.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah, these cookies. I was so worried because they tasted
so good. I thought, oh, Becky might have put some
real gluten in there. They were that good.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
They were pot cookies. They were pot she told me afterwards. Yeah,
but Jill goes, oh, I'm not gonna love cookies.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
So you said that.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
I was that you were the first one to say
making love to a cookie, because I never would have
said that.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Oh yeah, you did say something else. That's I did.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
After you started it, you finished it, I did. I
just wanted, you know, to just make you guys uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Yeah, so Michael's sitting here. Michael, you heard that too
as it happened live right.
Speaker 7 (08:28):
Yeah, that was weird.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
I love that. Well, let the Halloween scary stories begin.
I will tell you a tale from my childhood. I
was maybe ten eleven years old when I was touched
by the hand. I was in my bedroom in Connecticut,
a very small room, and it was late at night.
(08:56):
My family was asleep. My two sisters shared a room
next door, my mom and dad the other room bedroomhouse
quite small, but a house that was loving and full
of happiness as a child. But that night, as I
was in my room with the door closed, the moonlight
was shining through us, who illuminate the scene around me.
(09:16):
I awoke. I don't know why I woke up, but
I did. I woke up and just took stock of
my room, looked around, but had an uneasy feeling, and
I didn't know why. Now my bed was pushed up
against a corner, so imagine the headboard was up against
a wall, and then one side was up against a wall,
so it pushed into a corner, and my back was
(09:37):
to the wall where nothing could be. But yet, as
I lay there with the moon shining brightly into my room,
where I could see no one or no thing was
in my room, I suddenly felt, from the side where
nobody could be, the side of the wall, I felt
(09:57):
the hand. The hand reached out firmly, not lovingly, but
not so menacingly either, grasping my shoulder, and it gave me,
I'd say, if memory serves correct, two.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Quick pumps, Oh wow, on the shoulder, crazy word choice.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Excuse me, guys, excuse me, please, excuse me, please on
the shoulder, just a little oof oof, and then it released.
Now I was terrified as a child that had looked
around the room and nobody was there, and nobody could
be from where that hand came from when sad hand
came was nothing but a solid wall. What could have
(10:42):
reached out and touched me in the dead of the night,
in the darkness, only illuminated by the moonlight coming through
those windows. What could it have been? Could have been
a distant relative reaching out from the grave, could have
been a menacing spirit coming through trying to find somebody
to attach on to. Where were those pumps coming from?
Where was that grasp upon my shoulder with my back
to the wall, Where was it coming from? I felt
(11:04):
a sweat upon my brow, I felt my heart racing,
and I did not have the courage to turn and
look towards that wall. I simply found myself going under
the covers, deep deep, deep under the covers, pulling them
up over my head. And just as if a child
with fear, I was unable to speak. I was unable
(11:26):
to call out for my family, and I just live
there until the morning sun shone through those windows. And
to this day, I always wonder what would I have
seen if I had turned and looked at it, that wall.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
I've been to that house that you grew up in.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
No, No, But when I was there, that house was
so full of love and it was so homey and
like nothing but good feelings in that home.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
So it's crazy that you would have this experience.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, I showed Jill that wall from whence the hand
came she saw that wall? We'll never know, But do
you have a story similar to that.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
There's no way similar to that.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
There was riding on the wall, though when I was there.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
And it said do you remember what it said? I
do please?
Speaker 4 (12:25):
I pumped here.
Speaker 7 (12:29):
Wo heavy Halloween Text Valentine in the morning at three
one oh four to three, one oh four to three.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
My sm entertainment headlines at the.
Speaker 5 (12:41):
Box office this weekend, Chainsaw Man the Movie came in
at number one, making seventeen point two million dollars. Black
Phone two dropped a second, making thirteen million, and then
third place went to Regretting You, which is based on
Colleen Hoover's novel, and then delivered Me from Nowhere About
Bruce Springsteen came in at number four.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
And I thought that they were just rumors.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
But apparently it is official. Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau
are dating. A couple days ago, she was performing, somebody
was on stage asking her to marry him, and she said,
you heard I was single.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
That's interesting.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
You know, you really should have asked me about forty
eight hours ago. So because of that, fans thought, okay,
maybe she and Justin Trudeau are dating. But then over
the weekend, after months of rumors, Katie and Justin Trudeau
had a date night, holding hands celebrating her birthday. I'm
Jill with entertainment headlines on Valentine in the morning. Coming
up six o'clock. We're kicking off another week of our
(13:42):
thousand dollars. Philip, you could win one thousand dollars with
the keyword that'll come up right at six o'clock.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Things one of four to three. My famines. Valentin in
the morning. It is Monday, back to work, back to school.
Let's go Halloween Friday night. Yeah, yeah, wow, on a
Friday this year too. I've got some lights that we use,
(14:15):
and actually I got them from Jill's husband, Jeff. He
doesn't want to recommend them to me. Some little cheap lights.
You plug them in the backyard and they're like little
led spotlights.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Cool.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
But they change colors, and I've got some extra ones,
so I'm trying to convince my wife to let me
put them out in the front yard. Just turn them
on orange, so the whole front of our house becomes
orange or something.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
Right, Yes, that's what we do, but purple and green
like the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. Oh, and we have
it illuminating the trees out in the front.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
I don't know if my neighbors would get that, would
they get purple and green as the Haunted Mansion.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Oh maybe not, but do your neighbors get that well,
But we have.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Other Haunted Mansion decorations out there, like the stretch room
where you go in, and we have like.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
All the carricters Rob Disney.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
No, it's tu they're so cheap, but.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
They just kind of hang there in the front door.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
And maybe one of those Chinese websites that sell stuff cheap,
super cheap. Yeah, machine or whatever.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah, you got a fog machine going? We do, yet
we have the flickering lights up top and like on
the bottom pole.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Dress up.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
No, we've never addressed for Halloween. Yeah, we're home.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
You should dress up? Would you guys please do a
character thing, the two of you.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
It's a little too late now. I mean, I'll have
my Phillies Karen costume.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
No one's gonna come to your job. The dress up
is a witch or something.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
If we were like in the Haunted Mansion costumes, that
would be cool.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah you have time, it's Monday.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
But the kids get a kick out of it so much.
Leilani had dressed up one time and the kids got
a kick out it. She always did. She had the
best outfits and she was like, the lady with the
witch with the apple was at U. Yeah she didn't.
She kept that outfit. It was weird, but yeah, you
should do it. The kids love that stuff.
Speaker 10 (15:53):
Well.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
Our house like the neighborhoods surrounding it, not necessarily our street,
but there's a neighborhood right next door that goes all out.
You get every trickling in and so you get the
run off. Yeah, but that's fine because we get a
ton of people coming through. So that's why we like
to go all out. But the other day an Amazon driver.
Usually they come and they put the packages on the
front porch, but the other day he rang the doorbell
(16:17):
from the bottom of the porch and I was like,
So I went out there and he's like, I'm sorry,
your house looks haunted. I'm not coming onto your property.
And I was like, wait really, and he goes, your
house looks so scary. He said, do you have ghosts here?
Do you get haunted while you're here? And I was like, no, never,
and he said it is so scary.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I'm not coming. I'm not coming up.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Has he been to your house before?
Speaker 4 (16:39):
I'm doubted. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Did he catch a glimpse of you in the window.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
I have clothes on.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Okay, well, thank god for that is there.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
Sometimes Okay, but what's the glimpse?
Speaker 2 (16:53):
I would just think that seems like a good line
for a guy that wants to meet the lady of
the house.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Oh, I was upstairs.
Speaker 6 (16:58):
I was.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
He wouldn't have you wouldn't have seen me.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
I was upstairs, Joe, what do you think? I mean?
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Maybe he saw Jeff?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
All right, that's true too. I did make a leave
of faith there. You're right, right, Melissa, Chris Sandby should
go that morning traffic one A four to three. My family,
it is Valentine in the Morning, gonna do today's some game.
Today's dumb game is the Valentine in the Morning listener feud,
which is explained as such.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
So we asked our Valentine in the Morning listeners to questions.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Everybody answered, and we gathered the top five answers, and
then our contestants job will be to tell us what
those top five answers are.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Should we change this game one day to be we
asked Big Boys listeners and just actually have him ask
his listeners and people try to figure it out from there.
I like that, Yeah, ask a different audience or something
like that. I think a lot of fun. Well, let's
meet today's contestants. John in Kanuga Park. What's up? Funny?
Speaker 5 (17:52):
Hey John?
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Hey, dumb game. Iris at Ontario, Good morning to you,
Good morning everyone, Good morning, good morning. You know how
it works. Iris. We're gonna start with you today. We
asked Valentine in the morning. Listeners, what's something you should
not do while driving? You should not do while driving.
You've got possible three strikes and forty five seconds on
(18:16):
the board. Let's go.
Speaker 7 (18:18):
I'm gonna say texting, texting and.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Driving, of course, coming in at number two, well done?
What else?
Speaker 6 (18:27):
Eating?
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Eating? Eating a meal? Some people you see them with
the plate and the fork and the knife. You're like,
what are you doing?
Speaker 7 (18:34):
Putting on your makeup?
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Putting on your makeup? My gosh, you know this well,
you've done it all in the car, haven't you.
Speaker 7 (18:41):
I'm looking fifteen seconds a lot like audio book, looking
at an audio book.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
All right, this word falls apart. Now that's out there.
One strike. Keep thinking, what else do people do in
the car? You go, you can't do that in the car.
Speaker 11 (18:56):
I'm gonna say, drinking your hot coffee.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Okay, not drinking your hot coffee. No, that's two strikes.
I think we all drink. Yeah, you're time for one more.
Keep going about ten.
Speaker 10 (19:11):
Seconds, I'm gonna say.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Dancing dancings. There's three strikes. Number five was change your clothes,
changing your clothes to car, number four eating a meal,
three applying makeup to texting. And number one was drink
but not drinking hot coffee, drinking alcoholic beverages, but listening
to you like three out of five, it's amazing, Thank you.
(19:40):
All right, let's move on to John. John, here you go,
get it. Get three to tie. We asked Valentine in
the morning, listeners, name a reality TV show where people
yell a lot? Reality TV show where people yell a lot?
What do you think?
Speaker 7 (19:55):
Oh, geez, I don't watch much.
Speaker 11 (19:58):
Survivor.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Okay, not on there. Just keep thinking other reality TV shows.
Speaker 7 (20:04):
Oh God, I'm screwed. The price is right.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
The price I'm gonna jump in and say you're screwed. Yeah,
once you gave me the price is right. Answer, listen,
you got two strikes, so keep going, but think of
a popular reality show.
Speaker 7 (20:20):
Now, yeah, that's not helping think of like some of your.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Wife might watch. Do you have a wife? Oh no,
all right, think of like something. Do you have a girlfriend?
Speaker 7 (20:36):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Okay, what might that? Was hesitant though, I'm not even
buying that. What might she watch? You're sitting there on
the couch, she's watching it. Go what are you watching?
Speaker 7 (20:43):
This?
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Dumb stuff? For all these housewives hanging out?
Speaker 6 (20:49):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (20:49):
Real housewives?
Speaker 8 (20:51):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
We're gonna take that. Yeah, we're gonna take that.
Speaker 6 (20:54):
Now.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Time has run out. I feel like we're gonna say that,
all right. Number five was Hell's Kitchen. You're welcome. You're
on the board. You did not go over Hell's Kitchen.
Number five four, Keeping up with any Kardashian number three,
vander Pump Rules number two, Love Island number one the
Real Housewives of any City? Could he have won if
he had said, like all different cities? I wonder if
(21:17):
that would have got him. Probably not. Okay, anyway, ladies win.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
Game of Throne star Sophie Turner and Chris Martin from
Coldplay allegedly went on a secret date.
Speaker 6 (22:24):
Now.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
I didn't want to believe the rumors, but apparently Chris
Martin split from Dakota Johnson back in June, a couple
months ago after eight years together. Sophie Turner herself was
in a relationship. They just recently called it off in
late September, and the rumor is that Chris and Sophie
went out to dinner.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
It looked like a date. Now, this is just a rumor.
But they could have shared a meal together.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Those two, they could have shared a meal together. Okay,
she's the one from Game of Thrones, right, yes, so
you've a Game of Thrones fan.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
I wonder, Oh, maybe maybe he just wanted to pick
her rain about the show.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Oh no, no, they we're on a date. I don't
think that. No, I don't think it was that. I'm
just like, maybe he made her dress up. I don't know. Oh, okay,
got it.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
And last week we were talking about the Star Wars
film The Hunt for Ben Solo that Adam Driver really
wanted to happen, but he said Disney kind of shut
that down. Well, after that story kind of made headlines
last week, fans have now started a petition on change
dot org for this film to actually happen.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
I'm Jill. They aren't even headlines.
Speaker 2 (23:30):

Are we gonna be hot in Halloween?
Speaker 4 (23:35):

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Some were kind of bombed about their Pittsburgh Steelers and
those chands being mentioned of that the Steelers are butt
or what their butt their butt are, but right, their.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Defense is terrible, the highest paid defense of the NFL,
and may are awful.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Do you think it was because they look like little
bumblebees running around the field of those uniforms I got,
those god awful uniforms are wearing the.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Messages they're tribute to like their first uniforms.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Ever so in like the nineteen thirties, that's what they want. Well,
it's twenty twenty five, you know, nineteen thirties. Let's do
a tribute counting up everybody. Hang on, we're gonna play
little Glenn Miller in the mood just a few seconds
from now. And isn't it great to be out of
the Great Depression?
Speaker 7 (24:57):

in a bad mood.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
That's okay, I get out.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
It's okay. We're gonna put up the week of recap photos.
My kid at home coming this weekend. Him and his
date looked fantastic category time. So it's very sweet and
so excited about that. Yeah, yeah it is. The football
team won, and we went to the game, not so
much because I had any you know, investment in the game.
My kid's not playing the football team. I have no
young daughter out there doing anything for dance or cheer
(25:25):
or something, but I want sports school. Yeah, And it
was his last homecoming, and so I got to watch
him and all the other seniors run out in the field.
And prior to that, they have like because this school
has younger grades too, so you see like fifth graders
in the little parade sixth graders and stuff a year,
and here comes a class of twenty thirty three. I'm like,
oh my god, wait, that's what it is. Yeah, maybe
it was Adam man'll be perfect to the number, but whoa.
(25:47):
So it was wild to watch his little kids and
then and now the class of twenty twenty six, and
to see my son as a senior run out on
that field with his peers and just have a blast.
And they were having so much fun, you know. And
then he was out late, and I was worried about that.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
The pictures looked so funny pictures, it looked so good.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Comes home in like one thirty after the dance, Yeah good.
It's got a soccer game at nine o'clock the next morning.
I had to be there at eight fifteen.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
But he played great.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
I'm sure, No, it's all right, that's all right. I
was tired. I was up waiting for him, secretly just
watching like three sixty. Okay, I'm that parent, don't judge.

had the worst marriage proposal?
Speaker 5 (27:19):
With Happy News, We always hear these beautiful stories and
these wonderful proposals, but there has to be bad ones
out there.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
So we thought, what's are the bad ones?
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah? I think Leilani, because I've been pestering her, probably,
I think her answer was all right already, so I'll
do it. Are we getting dessert?
Speaker 6 (27:42):
Kidding?
Speaker 2 (27:43):
But reach out? Who had the worst marriage proposal? Texting

so she wanted to throw me into the flames of
a mispronunciation. On the eve of your retrieval, you do.

Love you for that. Coming up, Three things you need
to know. Experts warning of a shortage of Christmas decorations
this year. Why do you have enough? We'll tell you
what the shortage is all about. Coming up, Three things
you need to know.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Seven eighteen. It is Valentine in the morning. This is
one of four to three MYFM. On Saturday, the Dodgers
defeated the Blue Jason Game two the World Series thanks
to a complete game from Yoshinova Yamamoto Yeah.
Speaker 12 (31:46):
The distance again, World Series Mastery, retiring the final twenty
thirvy faces.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
He went the distance, pitching nine innings, allowing just four hits,
one run, no walks, wriking me out eight one absolute
stud Game three is tonight Dodger Stadium and Tyler glasnow
on the mound. You can listen to that in every game,
by the way, on the iHeartRadio app with AM five
to seventy LA. Sports experts are warning of a shortage
of Christmas decorations, including artificial trees, reads, garland, and lights.
(32:17):
Oh what if they warned of experts are warning of
a present shortage. Oh no, no, no, that's great, it's better. Okay,
that's terriffs a little kids. Everybody's like, oh, Terriff's home man.
Terriffs have caused some companies to pause or cancel imports.
You can end up paying as much as twenty percent
more on certain items this year. Just a few weeks ago,
(32:39):
people were complaining that retailers were putting out Christmas decorations
too early. Now those same decorations could run out.
Speaker 5 (32:47):
I had a friend who went to buy an artificial
tree over the weekend and they were completely out, So
she had to beg them to buy the display, and
they sold it to her but discount the same price.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Ful price. It's been touched. It's it's decorating. I know,
I know, that's wild. John. What is trending in music?
Speaker 1 (33:09):
So the Jonas brothers are facing facing a little bit
of backlash over the weekend. They performed a song during
Game two of the World Series. It's for the Stand
Up to Cancer campaign. Some fans kind of feel like
it was a little bit out of place, though it
is right after the fifth inning. It was almost like
a halftime show for a baseball game. And this is
when both of the pictures were very much in a groove.
It was a tied one to one game, so yeah,
fans were feeling like it kind of messed with the
(33:30):
flow of the game, but not their choice.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
So right, they're just doing it when they tell them.
But I can understand that if you're a pitcher and
you sit too long, you get cold exactly.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
So fans were like kind of speculating about that. It
only seemed to really affect the Blue Jays because the
Dodgers went on to win that game. So the Blue
Jays fans have been very right, yeah talk about Yeah,
they've already been calls on socials to bring them back
for Game.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Three, right right, because it was good luck exactly exactly.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
I'm John Cammuci. That was trending in music.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Okay, thousand bucks coming your way to eight o'clock this morning,
plus up next, Who had the worst marriage proposal? Always
hear about great ones? Right, how did it go wrong?
Why was the worst one? Texted at three one oh
four three?
Speaker 5 (34:05):
Like this text he who said, not even kidding. He
proposed while I was brushing my teeth, No build up,
just hey you wanna.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
They wrote, what Sometimes it just hits you, you know,
And it's that most basic moment when you look over
at this girl and you go, you know what, even
the most basic moments, I can see you as being
part of my life. Oh one of four to three
(34:43):
my family. It is Valentine in the morning, Joyce, good morning,
how are you today?
Speaker 7 (34:47):
Good morning? I'm great love it.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
So the marriage proposal that went awry wasn't the best
one ever.
Speaker 7 (34:53):
What happened, well, I was probably about four or five
months pro I meant, this was thirty nine years ago.
My oldest son is thirty nine. And our parents found out,
and you know, things were different back then. And so
he called me up and said, well, our parents now,
(35:18):
I guess we have to get married.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Now.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
He called you on the phone and said that yes, yes,
it was over.
Speaker 7 (35:26):
The phone, and and sure enough, a month or so
later we got married and and it. It lasted about
eight years, all right, yeah, and there's there's the story.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
I mean, I guess it could be worse. Could you
imagine if he's like, uh, all right, I guess you
know you'd have to do it, CHRISA one for yes
and two for no. Your touchdown could have been worse
that respect.
Speaker 7 (35:58):
I suppose that would have been great.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
You know it's cool now?
Speaker 7 (36:03):
Right?
Speaker 2 (36:04):
Oh yeah, I'm sorry about that. But what's cool now?
So he does that? You can recorded an iPhone and
record it and have it frustrating. Oh yes, that makes
it better. Here's the voice notde of when he asked
me to marry him. You know, I guess I mean
all right, well, Joyce, thanks very much for calling it.
Appreciate you, Oh, no problem.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
I love you guys. I am a longtime listener. You
make my drive into work every day so much fun.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Oh, I appreciate that. Thanks for saying that. Thank you
very much. Are we got text coming in?
Speaker 7 (36:33):
Three?
Speaker 2 (36:33):
One oh four? Three?
Speaker 4 (36:34):
What was the worst proposal?
Speaker 5 (36:36):
This text says I got proposed to at a crowded
restaurant and the waiter brought the wrong dessert with the
ring not in it.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
A stranger at the.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Table next to us opened it first and ruined the moment.
And then this text says he did it after a
heated game of Monopoly. It was family game night, which
was sweet, but I was still all worked up and
it didn't feel romantic.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four
to three.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
All right, it is seven thirty two. Good morning as
you start your day headed into school, headed into work.
Thanks for taking time out to listen to our show.
The weather today's sunny and warm, temp seventies to mid eighties.
Do you have a heat advisory coming to the place?
Going to get hot for a few days this week,
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 5 (37:20):
A contestant on Dancing with the Stars broke their nose
during rehearsal.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
I'll tell you who it is. Coming up at seven fifty.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Cynthia, did you have a bad proposal?
Speaker 11 (37:30):
It was my twenty first birthday. We had just gone
to dinner and we went out to the beach just
to watch the waves and stuff. I mean, you had
some romantic music. I thought it was a birthday present.
I didn't realize it was a proposal until it got
down on one knee and I freaked out a little bit.
And we'd have been dating a while, but there was
a lot of things I want to know before I
said yes, Like how are we going to raise our kids?
(37:51):
Or we're going to have a joint account separate account?
Are we going to live in Orange County?
Speaker 7 (37:55):
Like?
Speaker 11 (37:55):
There was a lot of things I wanted to know.
So after we talked for about two hours, I said.
Speaker 4 (37:59):
Yeah, Oh God, good for you though for getting those
questions out.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Would you imagine being on one knee all that for
two hours waiting to hear that answer.
Speaker 6 (38:07):
That's a lot of time in your saying we got
the car, drove up a little bit, I would.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Have cramped up. Lifeguard comes down to check. Got you?
That's great? Love, Thanks Cynthia, thanks for the call, have.
Speaker 7 (38:22):
A good day, bye bye.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Appreciate you. I'm pretty proud of myself for that. One
person's room might have got it. What's this the theme
from Jill from Baywatch who was on bay Watch?
Speaker 5 (38:34):
I was.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Twice, Yes, twice.
Speaker 5 (38:41):
I was the runaway, of course, as everybody knows, it's
a young child, right, yes, and then I was back
in another episode of a sister of someone and so yeah,
two rolls.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Wow, that's very impressive.
Speaker 7 (38:53):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Hi Jessica, Good morning.
Speaker 7 (38:57):
How are you today, Good morning, doing well?
Speaker 2 (39:00):
All right, we're doing good. What was your bad wedding proposal?
Speaker 8 (39:04):
Well?
Speaker 7 (39:04):
I actually had three bad wedding proposals from the same guy.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Oh gosh.
Speaker 7 (39:10):
The first time we were having an argument and he's like, well,
you know, we should just get married. And I'm like,
excuse me, we were just fighting.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
No, heck, no, really a wedding proposal or is he
just saying that like he's speaking out loud. He's just
you know, having a bit of a chin waggle, so
to speak.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
And he wanted you to forgive it, not the.
Speaker 7 (39:33):
Time to propose. And then, you know, a little while later,
he was sitting on the toilet and said, hey, go
get me a beer. Like, go get yourself a beer,
you idiot. He's like, well, get me a beer. I'll
divorce you. And I laughed and I said, well I
never married you. He goes, oh, we should do it.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
Then, okay, all right, And we didn't learn after the
first time and the final time.
Speaker 7 (40:00):
Oh, and then the final time we were joking around
and he said, oh, yeah, you know, we'll get I'm like, okay, well,
you know whatever. And like three days later he's like, so,
what's the date. I'm like, the date for what? And
I thought maybe we had, you know, something going on.
He goes our wedding.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
I'm like, I never said yes, So are you married
to this guy? Yes?
Speaker 7 (40:22):
Or no? I was married to him?
Speaker 5 (40:26):
He was.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
We're so shocked as it was. We're just i mean,
my face is just shocked, absolutely shocked as it was.
Speaker 7 (40:32):
I have two amazing children, so that part of me
will always love him. But yeah, I don't like him
very much.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
Okay, Well, it's gonna be a fun Monday topic. Guys, Jess,
thanks for calling. I appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (40:43):
Hey, hey, can I get on the Christmass?
Speaker 2 (40:46):
Of course you can't hang time? Will get yell said, okay,
were gonna be funnier to be is funny. You've never
heard of chin waggle though, Oh that's the first time
about said door. You and I have a bit of
a chin waggle. No, thank you?
Speaker 4 (41:02):
All right.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
A lot of kids are saying it, yeah, chin waggle.
It's meant you're like, let's have a talk, you know.
Hosier too sweet? One of four to three My fam.
It's Valentine that morning, Jill say, we'll get some great texts.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
I just I feel bad for these people.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
This text says he fake broke up with me, first
as a prank, then he proposed. I hate that it's
I had total emotional whiplash. Another textays he tied.
Speaker 4 (41:41):
The ring to our dog's collar, but the dog ran off.
Speaker 5 (41:45):
It took forty five minutes and three neighbors to help
get the dog back.
Speaker 6 (41:50):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
I tied it to our pet parakeet. It flew away.
Oh that's great, Hamber. What about you? What's your bad
marriage proposal? Ahead?
Speaker 7 (41:58):
Let me promise by saying that we were together for
almost ten years before the proposal, and he decided to
wait till I was in the shower to propose. However,
it was kind of my fault because he'd asked to
go to dinner, but I had just gotten home from
work and I was really tired. Okay, so I guess
it was kind of my fault. So he planned to
(42:18):
take me to dinner, but instead, since I was kind
of being difficult, he popped a question when I was
in the shore in our tiny apartment.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
So plan B was the shower plan be couldn't have
been dinner another night.
Speaker 11 (42:30):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 7 (42:31):
I've been saying that for twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Oh so you married, guy? I said yes, oh yeah.
Speaker 7 (42:37):
We're married twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
Boys, Well, you know what was going to happen? If
you'd said no, though, right, what?
Speaker 11 (42:45):
Probably we wouldn't have gotten married.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
No, I flushed the toilet, all right. Not everybody gets
that one eye because not everybody had that problem growing up.
Somebody flushes the toilet, the water changes in your shower.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
You don't have that, rich kid, Yes, no we did.
I just yeah, I forgot right.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Did you have that? It's a kid?
Speaker 7 (43:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, we had that problem too,
but I didn't think about that. I don't think he
would have thought about that either.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
But thank god, Well, congrats on it all working out though.
Speaker 7 (43:14):
Oh yes, yeah, we're happily married.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
But it's not your fault.
Speaker 8 (43:17):
Amber.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
This is not your fault that he proposed in the shower.
Speaker 7 (43:21):
I know, I I that's funny, but I always say,
maybe it was my faultmate, which just said yes, take
me to dinner.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
But did he do it from outside the shower? Did
he get in the shower with you? Get down? One knee.
Speaker 7 (43:31):
No no, no, no, just you know, put the hand

He posted a carousel of Instagram photos of him in
the hospital and he said, broke my nose, but don't
need it to dance. He also talked about how his
partner Daniella never left his side. He said he was
so happy to have friends like Pasha and Danielle Fischel,
who was there with him as well. But he did
(44:20):
post a video back in the rehearsal room saying he's
totally good. I remember the Nickelodeon series Victorious. It's about
a performing arts high school. It' star Victoria Justice and
Ariana Grande. It's going to get its own spin off
called Hollywood Arts, and Danielle Monet will return as her
character Trina Vega and Daniella is set to play a
struggling actress returning to her former high school as a

substitute teacher, and this series will debut.

Speaker 11 (45:50):

Speaker 10 (45:51):
I mean she played off through high school. I mean
you know, she worked really hard to get on the
club team. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
School club teams are cool. So you see San Diego
and what is she studying there?
Speaker 10 (46:00):
She's studying global health, the study of diseases in other countries.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
That sounds fun.
Speaker 10 (46:07):
Yeah, she's excited.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
That's that sounds pretty heavy.
Speaker 7 (46:11):
Oh, we'll see.
Speaker 10 (46:12):
We'll see what she ends up doing.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
You know what they're going through in his back and
stand right down, mom, you know the top disease there.
Speaker 10 (46:18):
Sometimes you'll see stuff like that which like blows my
mind because you know, it's not stuff that we normally
think about.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
Right. No, she's thinking in a global way now, she's
thinking about the world exactly. Jen Teller, congrats on that.
And if she ever wants to play me in tennis,
I'm around Oh yeah, definitely.
Speaker 7 (46:35):
You and Leilani too, right.

I think this is gonna be fantastic. All right, Later
on this hour, do you share custody of a pet? Text?
Speaker 6 (47:29):
Now?
Speaker 2 (47:29):
At three one oh four to three, we got a.
Speaker 5 (47:31):
Text from someone looking for our advice and said, I
just broke up with my boyfriend of six years.
Speaker 4 (47:36):
He wants to share custody of our dog, which surprised me.
Is this something people do?
Speaker 2 (47:42):
I think some people do do it. I've also heard
of a cases where some people just go I just
I can't, I can't do it to the dog. It's
back and forth, it's hard to do and stuff, so
they just decide amongst them. If the other person that
you were in a relationship with loves that animal as
much as you, then maybe you feel kind of okay
with it. But it's got to be incredibly hard because
we love our animals so much, you know.
Speaker 5 (48:01):
And you adopt the dog together, and then that relationship
doesn't work out right, and that dog's like your child, right, That's.
Speaker 2 (48:07):
Very hard for people. So how do you guys get
past that? Texting? Right now? Three one oh four to three.
It is a battle of the sexes represent the men.
His name is Jose. He lives in China Hills, works
as a oh he's studying for his bachelor's degree and
enjoys spending time with his wife. Let's hear it for Jose.
Speaker 7 (48:26):
Good morning, ladies.

Let's hear it for Jenny.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
What's up, Jenny?
Speaker 3 (48:40):
Good morning?
Speaker 2 (48:41):
Here's that works, Jenny, I'm gonna ask you a few questions,
So is Angel's gonna ask you the questions? Best out
of three wins, and if we're still tied the end
of regulation, we go to a not so tough tiebreaker question.
Let us start with the ladies. Who had the twenty
ten hit song Just the Way You Are?
Speaker 5 (49:00):
Bruno Mars, Jose, Bruno Mars has a song called die
with a Smile with what other artist?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
Lady Gaga's right current scores one to one? How many
points is a free throw worth in basketball?
Speaker 8 (49:19):
One?
Speaker 2 (49:21):
Correct?
Speaker 4 (49:22):
Jose? If you're shopping at free people, what are you
most likely buying.
Speaker 8 (49:29):
Groceries?
Speaker 4 (49:31):
No, it's clothing.
Speaker 2 (49:33):
Uh oh, ladies, take the lead is two to one?
You can win right now here?
Speaker 7 (49:35):
It is?
Speaker 2 (49:36):
What color is the lightsaber the lightsaber used by Mace
Window in Star Wars? What color lightsaber does Mace Window use?
Speaker 8 (49:52):
Let's go with blue.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
I should kind of close a little bit. Maybe purple
purple was the color Mace saw love purple stay one
big purple lover.
Speaker 5 (50:03):
And Jose, what is the name of everyone's favorite purple dinosaur, Barney?
Speaker 2 (50:09):
Yes, she gets Mace Winter and he gets Barney. All right,
let's go to that's a tough tie breaker question. Holler
at your name for them. The answer you name would
be a buzzer. Wait until Brian Burton finishes asking the
question before you buzz in. What would be a good
Halloween costume for Valentine? Hodi Jose? I think.
Speaker 7 (50:33):
Barney?
Speaker 2 (50:35):
Why no? Hold on, Jen, we have the tape it was,
but why would it be? Barney Jose?
Speaker 6 (50:42):
It's just because everybody loves you, Hosy.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
Can you see I'm heavy? Said man? You got a brother.
Congratulations battle of a second championship certificate posted in solcios
the hashtag Valentine in the morning. You share that with pride.
Speaker 8 (51:04):
Okay, thank you, I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (51:06):
And you got tickets four Timmy Levado KEYA four May
sixteenth or on till now Friday at ten am at
ticketmaster dot com. Congrats, Thank you, appreciate your guy. We
appreciate you too. Thank you very much, Jenn. As you
exit the stage, this moment is entirely yours. You take
it away.
Speaker 11 (51:28):
Congratulations, have a wonderful time. Thanks for having me and
everybody have a beautiful blast.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
Week you too, Thanks very much. Go Dodgers. Coming up.
Three things you need to know. Just as people are
starting to plan their holiday vacations, staffing shortages are causing
major issues at airports around the country. How can you
get past it? Is there a secret way through TSA details?
Coming up with three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (51:55):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (51:58):
Eight eighteen, It is about ten in the morning. The
FAA issued a temporary groundstop at LAX yesterday because of
staffing shortages. The ground stop lasted about two hours, but
delays continue through the day. Air traffic controllers have been
working without pay since October first because of the government shutdown.
Many are calling out or unable to work overtime. If
you are a federal worker and this is affecting you,
(52:20):
I'm sorry this is happening too. This is not your fault.
You know, this has nothing to do with anything. You
didn't should be paid for your work, and I know
that you'll be paid eventually. But when you got to
make mortgages and you have to make payments and people
need cash flow and it's not there, it's it's not right,
and you're going through a lot, and I'm very sorry
that's happening to you. You know, all we can do
is call our representatives and tell them to do their job.
That's all we can do. The World Series is back
(52:43):
in La. Tonight with the Dodgers and Blue Jays all
tied up at one game each. The next three games
are here in La and Tyler glasnow gets to start
for the Dodgers. It's a big moment for him. He
actually grew up about thirty miles from the stadium. The
Dodgers chasing back to back titles, something baseball hasn't seen
in nearly twenty five years. Game three underway tonight at five,
(53:04):
John was training your music.
Speaker 1 (53:05):
So remember when Demi Levado at the was at the
Hollywood Palladium over the weekend for her one night only
show and they said that two hundred thousand people were
in that queue for a four thousand capacity show. Well,
it looks like that demand worked. Demilabado just announced a tour.
She's now doing the It's Not That Deep Tour, which
is a massive deal because her last tour in twenty
twenty two, they indicated that that might have been like
(53:26):
her final tour. Nah, she just announced another one. She's
going to beat the Key of Form in May, and
we're gonna have your tickets all week long during the
Battle of the Sexist so you can win those before
you can even buy them. Before they go on sale
this Friday. I'm John Kamuci. That's what's trending in music.
Speaker 2 (53:39):
A twenty one. It's Valentine in the morning. You want
to reach out eight six sixty five four for my
FM text and three one of four. Three are you
sharing custody of a pet?
Speaker 7 (53:46):
Eric?
Speaker 2 (53:46):
And tell me about your.
Speaker 8 (53:47):
Pet turning with vodka?
Speaker 11 (53:48):
She'll just take a little cow.
Speaker 7 (53:49):
No.
Speaker 11 (53:50):
Me and my ex boyfriend we share her so at
in his house.
Speaker 7 (53:54):
She has her room, his mom's there all the time,
or his son at my house.
Speaker 6 (53:59):
I have and I'm just always with her.
Speaker 7 (54:01):
I never leave her.
Speaker 6 (54:02):
I just can't.
Speaker 2 (54:03):
In case you just tuned in, Erica has shared custody
of her dog.
Speaker 11 (54:08):
Yes, Valentine, we do.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
There was no judgment. That was just a statement of fact.
There was no judgment. I just wanted to bring everybody
up to speed.
Speaker 11 (54:16):
Okay, I'm gonna tig you in a picture because she's
the shootest dog you'll ever see.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
All right, Well, thanks for calling Erica. I have a
great day, Okay, love, Thanks.
Speaker 11 (54:24):
You guys, do buzz goot for the hell of it.
Speaker 7 (54:28):
The trail.
Speaker 2 (54:31):
Eight twenty four. It is balanced out of the morning.
This is one of four three MYFM textan three one
O four to three, call eight sixty six five four
or four MYFM. Do you share a custody of a pet? Kim,
good morning? How are you?
Speaker 7 (54:43):
Hi? Well, good morning, I'm good, Thank you God?
Speaker 2 (54:46):
What's the pet? And do you share custody?
Speaker 7 (54:49):
I have two a shepherd and a Doberman, and we
have shared custody.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
We just.
Speaker 7 (54:55):
Saw the judge on Thursday last week.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Oh my gosh, you guys actually had to go to
what small claims quart or something? But it's probably.
Speaker 7 (55:03):
No. I just gave you the pretty part. It's actually
we had to go to court for a restraining order.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
But yeah, let's leave that part.
Speaker 7 (55:09):
I agreed to, Yeah, I agreed to because we both
love the dogs.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
I love dogs. I have two dogs, and we love
our dogs so much. So I can't imagine somebody actually
put in a very serious situation where you've loved this
animal for a number of years. You no longer love
that person the same way, but you haven't change your
love for the animal. Animals are all giving of their love,
and so you try and do what's right for the animal.
And is that shared custody? Is it just allowing your
animal to have one home with the other. You know, family,
(55:38):
it's tough, right it is.
Speaker 7 (55:41):
Yeah, but they came back acting like rats. Who's already
had them?
Speaker 2 (55:44):
So h yeah, and you go, hey, what did your
father let you eat those things? And you father let
you do that? Your father lets you do that and
n and you know, somebody brought up to me years ago.
I thought it was kind of a brilliant idea because
on a bigger, wider conversation here we have shared of children.
You know, people have kids, marriages don't work out, and
(56:04):
then they share the custody and the kid is like
a room in dad's house, in a room at mom's
house sometime. And the idea was, why do the kids
have to leave home? Why do they have to change?
How about this? The kids stay in one house and
you come in his mom or you come in his dad,
and you've got a room there. Why do they have
to leave the house?
Speaker 5 (56:21):
More and more of this on TikTok is it real
couples doing this really showing how it can work and
how the kids are benefiting.
Speaker 2 (56:28):
It's financial stream, obviously, you got to figure that out.
You have two apartments outside of the house or something,
or Are you forced to share an apartment outside of
the house too.
Speaker 4 (56:36):
I saw one couple who was they were that apartment
and then they were sharing the house.
Speaker 2 (56:40):
That's kind of smart. Yeah, it works better for the kid,
but you can see arguments happening there too, and so
but wow, so if.
Speaker 7 (56:47):
You can trust the other person in your house, yeah,
we know.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
You don't trust this person. That's already when you said,
and they came home and they your father doing with them?
What's happening? What are your dogs?
Speaker 7 (56:59):
Were actually using an app? We're using an app called
Talking Parents. So we can only communicate via the app.
No text, no social media, no phone calls, just through
the app. Can I pick up the dogs? He's allowed
you know X amount of time?
Speaker 2 (57:11):
And okay, see that?
Speaker 7 (57:14):
Yeah it's court monitored.
Speaker 2 (57:16):
Okay, oh wow, so that's serious stuff. Then okay, and
you guys share the financial cost and all that stuff.
Speaker 7 (57:24):
That's to be determined, but so far it hasn't been
in this shoe.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
What about play dates? Is what happens when's like a playdate?
Do you have to prove that other person's dogs and stuff?
Speaker 7 (57:34):
I haven't crossed that bridge yet, but God, I put
you there.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
I'm so sorry. Yeah to them.
Speaker 7 (57:42):
The more friends the better for them.
Speaker 2 (57:43):
Yeah, well that's tough. I'm sorry you going through that.
Speaker 7 (57:47):
It's okay, thanks Bo.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
All right, well thanks for calling Kim. Have a great day.
Speaker 7 (57:50):
Okay, you're welcome. Hi, great day you.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
Two by eight six six five four four my FM David,
Good morning, how are you implied? Visit? Good morning? Morning?
Speaker 6 (58:02):
You shared make you make my drive to work so
much easier, So I appreciate you all.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Oh, thanks man. Now what about the pets? What's going on?
Speaker 7 (58:12):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (58:12):
So I got Bailey for my fortieth birthday. We actually
drove out to San Bernardino and picked her up in
a Routs parking lot. And through the course of our
divorce we had two dogs, said goodbye to one during
the divorce, and then shared custody. I would always have
to go and pick the dog up wherever, so it
became more on me. In our agreement it said shared custody,
(58:34):
which I said, hey, does that mean equal to which
the mediator said no, So I made her change it
to equal custody. Unfortunately, my ex moved up to Lake Tahoe,
which I agreed to because I want what's best for
the dog, and she was only going up there for
a year. But it's now been two years and she's
not moving back. And I've only seen Bailey six weeks
this entire year.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
Ah. And the fact that you say Bailey puts a
a little bit of humanity to you, know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (59:02):
Oh wow?
Speaker 6 (59:04):
But she's living her best life out there. And I
will get this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas for a
whole four weeks, so I'm taking time off work. That
can we just go on mats walks and and you
just hang out.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
The FaceTime though every time I FaceTime like my dog
and like, are they really looking at you? Are they
FaceTime dog? Well? Yeah, like from work or something sometimes
or if I'm out of town. You've never FaceTime like
a path and you're out of town. I can't relate
to this, you know. When I'm out of town or
something for work. For I heart, I FaceTime the pats
and you do the little voice stump, Yes, you do
the boys and you think they're looking at the camera,
(59:39):
or you make like a noise of a cat or
some other dog to try and get their attention or whatever,
and every now and then they look at it. You go,
did he see me? Does he see me.
Speaker 6 (59:48):
I'm with you on that.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
Yeah, you try right.
Speaker 6 (59:50):
I take screenshots, so yes, And it looks like she's
looking at me several times.
Speaker 2 (59:56):
Ba is looking right at you, Bro, She's looking right
at you FaceTime.
Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
On our FaceTime last week, my ex said, do you
want to see Papa? And she looked at the front
door as if I was going to walk.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Through the show. That's so sad. But she calls you papa.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:00:12):
No, who my ex called me something else.
Speaker 2 (01:00:16):

haven't seen the Goonies yet, but it's on the list.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):

Speaker 5 (01:01:42):
When I went to my appointment on Friday, based off
of my blood work and my ultrasound, They're like, well,
we'll possibly have it on Wednesday, maybe, And so I
left there. We were very encouraged because it was a maybe.
It was a possibility because we didn't know if it
was going to happen. And then Friday night, my nurse
emailed me and she said, based off of the blood
work we got today, yeah, you are confirmed for.
Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
Tuesday, Tuesday morning egg retrieval.
Speaker 5 (01:02:06):
So last night I did my trigger shot, which just
kind of triggers the body to get ready for the procedure.
And so I'm going in tomorrow morning with my husband
and We're gonna do the egg retrieval.
Speaker 2 (01:02:18):
This all part of the IVF process. Yes, Now, when
he goes in for the egg retrieval, does they have
to do retrieval for him?
Speaker 5 (01:02:24):
Yes, So he'll do his part first, right, then I'll
go in and do my part right, and then they
will put the parts together.
Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
Good way of putting it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
No, they're probably going on. So he's so you're in
a room with the doctor and they do the egg retrieval. Yes,
who's in the room with him?
Speaker 4 (01:02:43):
He's by himself in that room.
Speaker 2 (01:02:44):
Okay, gotcha?
Speaker 5 (01:02:45):

Speaker 4 (01:02:45):

Right, No juggling eggs, Jill. Now keep your hands off
the eggs. Let them handle the egs.
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
Coming up in entertainment headline last week, we were talking
about Michael B. Jordan possibly starring in the new Miami

Speaker 5 (01:05:00):
The original movie was released in nineteen eighty five, and
forty years later, there is now a two thousand, nine
hundred and twelve piece set and it is a lego
diorama model of the pirate ship from the movie with
its many rooms including the Bone organ and one Eyed
Willie's treasure room. And then the set will have twelve
minifigures with it, including Mikey and Mouth and Chunk. I'm
(01:05:24):
Jill with erontavimd Headbine.
Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Okay, when you said it came out like eighty five
and it's forty years ago, now, I'm like, ah, do
I give John any grief pronouncing that movie it came
out in eighty five?
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Yeah, but we have talked about it a bunch.
Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
Yeah, it's a classic movie, but I probably shouldn't give
you the grief for seeing something that came out before
you were born, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
I'm rutting this down.
Speaker 4 (01:05:40):
That's nice.

Good morning, Jane. I'm good, Jane, I'm good. So let
me ask your question. Your text said I have to
call you for this. Your text says, happened to is?
Tomorrow's my last day of work until January? What do

Speaker 7 (01:06:09):
I am a Spanish language interpreter.
Speaker 8 (01:06:12):
Did you hear me?
Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Yes? I did. I was just interpreting Spanish. And so
we're gonna be without interpretation until January. People won't know
what people are saying. People are confused. At Christmas time,
we just said I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (01:06:29):
There are other people can do the talking in Spanish
for two months.
Speaker 11 (01:06:33):
I've got a couple of trips coming up.
Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
Wow, so you're taking some holidays big time from now
so tomorrow until January.
Speaker 7 (01:06:41):
You're off tomorrow until January.
Speaker 10 (01:06:43):
I'm off and you know, just to start off today,
I'm going to Disneyland Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
That's crazy. Good for you.
Speaker 4 (01:06:48):
This is the life that's wonderful.
Speaker 6 (01:06:50):
It is the life.
Speaker 7 (01:06:50):
It's good. But you've got to be older and.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
Rich, all right. No, well, it sounds like you've made
some smart monetary decisions in your life.
Speaker 7 (01:07:02):
We im thankfully my husband has made some good, good choices.
Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
Yeah, where you guys going where you most excited to go?
Speaker 7 (01:07:09):
We're going to Budapest, Vienna frog.
Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
And wow, did you know fun little fact? Now I
cautioned this by saying that when I say fun little fact,
I get a lot of eye rolls in here. Little fact.
Do you know the river that runs through Budapest, Yes,
to Daniels, that's correct. Back in the days, one side
was known as Buddha, the other was Pest. This city
(01:07:35):
sits on both sides of the river, Buddha and Pest.
Speaker 4 (01:07:38):
Yea and a little fact. Most of the time they're
not little.
Speaker 2 (01:07:46):
What does that mean?
Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
Your facts seem to.
Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
Go on for a little bit. Oh God, Jane, are
you hearing this?
Speaker 11 (01:07:55):
Jill Jill, he is a well read many in your.
Speaker 9 (01:08:00):
Faces definitely iss have saved travels up and make sure
you keep.
Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
Listening on the app.
Speaker 7 (01:08:07):
Oh we will, we will, Thank you very much, guys.
Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
I have a wonderful week.
Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
You want me to stay, but coming on the crazy
visions of me and.
Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
Mike Bam. I mean, it's Valentino in the morning, chaperon
good like baby, it's nine twenty three. I shouldn't talk
about what happened in the studio.
Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
Right, I mean that's up to you.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Really you think I should or shouldn't name, so it's fine,
give you me like, oh my gosh. I had this
little protein shake that I was just where are you going?
Speaker 4 (01:08:47):
Had to sneeze real fast.
Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
I thought you couldn't take it, just finish it right now. Well,
it was a protein shake without saying the person's brand,
I don't think do they advertise with us?
Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
I don't think so. I'm sure you've heard of this
protein shake. And it was like a plant based thing,
you know whatever. I just do an extra protein blah
blah blah the morning stuff and took two steps fine whatever,
and then they should have seen my face I had
to run to the trash and spit it out. There
was something in it that went in my mouth like
three inches long. I kid you not. People are like,
(01:09:21):
is that a mouse?
Speaker 7 (01:09:21):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
And I already call the folks are very nice. You're like, yeah,
you know, send us pictures whatever, blah blah blah. Yeah,
but it was so gross. Don't find something one of
your drinks. You're like, oh my god, a sealed drink
like that. That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
That's honestly, having seen it, you'd be telling that is
making me all queasy.
Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
Yeah, so I'm quasy. It was in my mouth, like right,
the twoe coming out or something.
Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
When you took the drink.
Speaker 5 (01:09:44):
I thought you were trying hard not to laugh with
it in your mouth because you just got up immediately
yet take it.
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
Yeah, when you drink down something or you bite into
something and you find something that's not supposed to be there,
it's the worst feeling in the world. Now at certain points,
like you go to some restaurants, I don't know, you're
getting fries from someplace and you feel an extra crunch.
You're like, yeah, I don't want to know, and you
just power through it. This was not a power through
a moment. Do you ever do that where you get
something you go It might be something on a wamp,
but you know what, it's just a little crunchy. Maybe
(01:10:12):
it's just a hard fry. Let me just power through
that and not take a look.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
I found a hair and a cookie last week and
I just kept going, Oh, I sound up hair and
a meal in a couple of places, and I just like,
that doesn't really bother me.
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
I just yeah, this was like I had all the
animals hairs it was. If that's what it was, I
don't know what it was. Maybe it was a part
of a plant that said plant based, but that was
more like a whole trunk that was the entire plant
was in There was not a leaf or two. It
was so big and so I saved it. It's in
a plastic cup next to me and I am auctioning
(01:10:48):
that off on Instagram. Where do I put it? Johnson?
We could leave it. It's pretty close to me. I
can't bring us home. No, what are we gonna put
this at my house? My wife? What is this thing
in this plastic bag?
Speaker 4 (01:11:00):
Bridge has that little freezer box and.
Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
Up you seal it up.
Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
We put in the freezer box.
Speaker 2 (01:11:06):
This is because I know it's in your freezer.
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
That's not at the moment, but sometimes, yes.
Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
You've had some weird stuff frozen in your freezer.
Speaker 4 (01:11:14):
Have a lot of testing to be done on my body.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Okay, I put it in your freezer. Could you take
it home? Put in your freezer.
Speaker 4 (01:11:23):
It's gonna be weird, explaining to my husband.
Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
But he's a good guy. Yeah, but they offered to
buy me another product.
Speaker 7 (01:11:32):
Then we go.
Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
From the dans and SUVs to full size trucks.
Speaker 7 (01:11:37):
Experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified freezings.
Speaker 3 (01:11:42):
You need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
So on Saturday, the Dodgers defeated the Blue Jayson Game
two the World Series thanks to a complete game from
yes Noba Yamamoto.
Speaker 6 (01:11:52):
Stanch again.
Speaker 12 (01:11:55):
World Series Mastery retire in the final tour.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
He goes to distance, pitching nine innings, allowing just four hits,
one run, no walks, striking out eight stud of a
performance game three tonight Dodger Stadium, Tyler Glassnew on the Mound.
You can listen to that in every game, by the way,
on the iHeartRadio app with A and five seventy LA
sports experts are warning a shortage of Christmas decorations, including
artificial trees, reeds, garlands, and lights, recommending you paint your
(01:12:24):
pumpkins green and red. Terrors have caused some companies to
cause to pause or cancel imports because of terras, and
you can end up paying as much as twenty percent
more on certain items this year. Just a few weeks ago,
people were complaining that retailers are putting out Christmas decorations
too early, and now those same decorations could run out.
(01:12:45):
Some people, even here at work, are proposing in the
hallways of iHeartRadio to Jack Coast, they steal their decorations
that we know they'll be putting up very soon. John,
what's training your music?
Speaker 7 (01:12:59):
Well?
Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
The Other's faced a little bit of a backlash over
the weekend. They performed a song for the Stand Up
to Cancer campaign during Game two of the World Series,
but some fans kind of thought this was out of place.
It was after the fifth inning, both the pictures were
on fire. It was a one to one, high stakes game,
but it only seemed to mess with the Blue Jays
because after that the Dodgers went on to win Game two.
So even though it felt a little bit out of place.
(01:13:19):
The Dodger fans are already saying that Joe bro should
come back.
Speaker 2 (01:13:22):
For Game three.
Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
You can't mess with superstitions. I'm John comunci that's was
training in music.
Speaker 5 (01:13:28):
Stop.
Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
I don't have it, though.
Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
You can have old guy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
I'm gonna get old guy.
Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
Eyebrown at a future date.
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
There's certain guys we've noticed on TV, certain like weather
people and stuff and different things. Their eyebrows. As you
get older as a guy, they seem to be going
higher and thinner on the outside left and right, so
on the outside of your eyebrow, not the dinner part,
the outpart. It just starts raising up. It's like Josh
Grobin singing on top of the forehead, and eyebrows will
(01:13:59):
touch your hair, and they keep going up, and they.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
Get a little bushier as well.
Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
Oh I saw some good thinner, but they did get
bushier because guys don't pay as much attention to grooming standards,
you know. Yeah, but it seems like I don't get
these guys all aren't having face lips, are they? I see,
like old guys with the eyebrows just seem to raise
up on the outer portion of their eyes. Now, here's
the thing. Maybe I'm wrong, Maybe they're not being raised up.
(01:14:28):
Maybe the inner part of the eyebrows are sinking, you know,
and that makes it look like they're being raised up.
Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
Yeah, that makes sense, because all guys be frown in
the lot because they're just always like frustrated with people,
you know, like.
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Well, guys be frowning, man, old guys be frowded. Maybe
it is I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:14:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:14:45):
Do ladies have a problem like that? Do you guys
have something facially or something that goes weird?
Speaker 4 (01:14:50):
I'm sure the same thing with their eyebrows.
Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
Oh yeah, they do look a bit like that.
Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
We have already have.
Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Yeah, you have one eyebrow. This is great. If you
ever meet Jill, oh no, what good. She's like just
forever curious. She's a forever curious lady. And that's what
we love about her. One eyebrows. It's a little higher
than the other, so like.
Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
It's a little more alive, especially when I smile.
Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
Oh, then it gets real high.
Speaker 4 (01:15:15):
It has personality. The other one is over it like.
Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Twin peaks, but one's just higher than the other.
Speaker 4 (01:15:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
Yeah, our faces are very funny. Yeah, they are, and
that's why we don't have cameras here in the studio.
