Welcome to the breakfast table, A Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Oh my God, help us respectful to say I love you.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.
Speaker 4 (00:12):
Let me live that.
Speaker 5 (00:13):
Fantasy one of four three. My fabit is Valence in
the morning. What's the smile?
Speaker 4 (00:20):
No reason?
Speaker 6 (00:21):
No.
Speaker 5 (00:21):
This seemed to be like a I don't know, no, Okay,
all right, Hi.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Fine, it's a big day in the young household. You guys,
my cats have an interview today.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Your cats have an interview, and I'm worried.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
I don't know if they're going to pass.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
It's probably like a daycare or place to send your
pets to see they'll behave right.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
So we're leaving on vacation. It's a cat okay, and
cats are not the greatest attitudes. I feel like they're
going to fail just based on them being a cat, right,
because they're not friendly. No, there are some cats, there are,
but I feel like a majority aren't.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
Are they friendly together? Yes, they have they have play buddies.
Are fine, just shove in a cage.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
They're okay together. They're very antisocial, which I think you don't.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Need a big yard to play in, do they. Oh no, yeah,
they just need like a little room where they can stay.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
And they have that, but they have to pass with
the staff.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
Oh, they don't scratch the staff exactly. Good luck with that.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
I know, thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
I can't the staff. We're like some gloves, like you
know when you're when a dog attacks you, like those
canine dog trainers.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
To those big bulkany we have a big.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Jacket when they go into help out your cats.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yeah, I don't know what they're gonna do, but I'm nervous.
But you know, usually cats can stay at the house.
And we have a neighbor that comes in stage and
our air conditioning is not working.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Like the Fritz, so you can't trust it.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
And with this heat wave coming, we can't have them
in the house.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
Oh my god. I sort of volunteer, but I'm out
of town too.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
Ah, dang it. I appreciate that though. Hopefully they pass
all right because we're out of time.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
Did you talk to them? What do you say to
the cats who's taking them in? I am Are they
good with you taking them in?
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Then it's a bit of a struggle to put them
into their crates.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
All cats are like that out here, but.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
Then they're very vocal, and I just I want them
to just be okay. I'm assuming they're just checking to
see that they're not on death storstep, like they don't
want anything to happen on their watch. That's yeah, but
we'll see.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Give me fine.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
People have been very very nice.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
I sent my email with my Valentine in the morning signature,
hoping maybe they're.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Fans Crazy cat World, like advertisements for them or something.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
And you got a crazy cat Crazy cat World. No,
you're just gonna happen. She'd pop up here like tomorrow
or something like, hey before I get a flight, Brian,
we've been leaving the cats here in the studio.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Well, just them. I appreciate.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
I could probably watch your cat.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
No, but you can't watch her the house. They have
to come to your house.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
You'd like the cats in your house.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
You have a litter box in your house, a three
stinky kids.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
They might be pooping on the floor too.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
I don't box. Let me try it out. Get out
of the litter box, Amaya. Just because your brother doesn't
doesn't mean you get to do it. Well, good luck
with that, thank you. Yeah, I've got somebody house sitting
and staying at our house.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Oh that's nice.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
Yeah it works out that way.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Good.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
Yeah, all right. It is Valentine in the Morning. It's
one of four to three maya family, Valentine in the Morning,
one A four three, my fam, it is Valentine in
the morning. Hey, Brandy, good morning. How are you today?
Speaker 7 (03:36):
Hello?
Speaker 8 (03:37):
Good morning? Oh my god, I'm so excited. I'm gonna
call with you all.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
I love having you on board too.
Speaker 8 (03:41):
How you doing, I'm good, I'm good. I text him
was like, the story is funny.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Wait what did you text it? Brian get so excited
if he wanted you on the air.
Speaker 8 (03:50):
Okay, So my daughter, who, by the way, I should
explain it's actually smart because she's gonna sound like she's
not at all. But she's a book smart one of
those kids.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
Okay, funny story. Daughter, she's book smart, no common sense,
go ahead.
Speaker 8 (04:01):
She's probably fifteen. She has just had her first job
and she's like, mom, I need cash. I'm like, okay,
well you have a good job and a bank account.
It's cash. She's like, just her look on her face
as clair, She's like what do you mean, how where
do I get cash from? And I was like, how
do you not know? It's like, it's just crazy to
be that she doesn't know. You go to your bank
and you use your ATM car and that pin number
(04:23):
and then boila, cash comes out of a machine. That's
where it comes from.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Oh, I'd never tell him that. I would have never
told them the cash comes out a machine. That's like
saying money grows up trees.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Babe.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
She's just gonna keep going to that machine thinking that's
just where you get the cash. It just comes out.
Speaker 9 (04:39):
That's my daughter, lover.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
Yeah, aren't you worried?
Speaker 10 (04:42):
Though?
Speaker 5 (04:42):
She's not gonna understand that there's a limit to the cash.
Speaker 8 (04:47):
I explain that.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
You gotta tell her there's a limit to that. It
doesn't just grow exponentially in there. It's not producing the cash.
Speaker 8 (04:54):
Yes, good point to point. I did make sure that
was clear.
Speaker 5 (04:57):
Okay, all right, mom. I love it, and I.
Speaker 8 (05:00):
Think it's often when you're talking about your son leaving,
because my daughter left for college the same one can't
meet him, and it's really hard. So just sending you
good vibes, and what you should do is think of
it as in batches like, oh, I'm going to see
him at parents or he'll be home in two weeks
for that'll help.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah, I just gotta like he's in Boston right now.
I gotta stop texting him, like like I want to
be girlfriend. I'm just just out of control. Yeah, what's
going on?
Speaker 11 (05:25):
But how are you?
Speaker 5 (05:27):
I'm just fishing for him? You know, he's leaving me unread.
I'm like, oh god, all right, Well, thanks Brandy, have
a great day. Tell your daughter we said Hi, okay.
Speaker 8 (05:36):
Awesome, thanks everyone.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
My bam et his valence out of the morning.
Speaker 11 (05:40):
Hey T, good morning, Good morning guys.
Speaker 12 (05:42):
How are you hi?
Speaker 13 (05:43):
Tea?
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Hi, I'm not oh low tea, I'm low tee not
I'm not hei Teah. I got low T. I gotta
get that fixed. But I'm afraid, like if I get
it fixed, will you not like me anymore? Because I'll
be too masculine, you know.
Speaker 9 (05:57):
I mean, I don't think that'll be a problem.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Like, hey man, we're taking calls, T, you're on the air,
what's going on? What's you take? All?
Speaker 10 (06:05):
Right?
Speaker 5 (06:05):
That did not suck?
Speaker 2 (06:06):
You did not get run.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
It would be a different show. Yeah, could still be popular.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
You know many reasons. I need to probably take testosterone.
Really yeah, yeah, I'm very low, Tea.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Could you do maybe a microdose so we don't get
full manly Valentine?
Speaker 5 (06:22):
But but don't you want me to live longer and
be healthy?
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Oh well yes, of course.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (06:29):
It'll put a different spin on the Bro show.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
Pro sure, bro shure, bro shure, Bro, you ain't a bro.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Listen you get the disoso. I'll take some too, So, Tea.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
What's going on? What do you want to talk about today?
Speaker 6 (06:45):
So?
Speaker 9 (06:45):
I was just thinking that it'll be an interesting show
if everybody switched segments than what they normally do.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
Cute, what we could do the wheel of hosts or
something like that. We just spin the wheels see where
it lands, or we we do musical chairs or something, you.
Speaker 9 (07:01):
Know, in the morning instead of the little games in
the morning. Because the Vowel and Brian always cheat, that.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
Is so unfair but so true. It's not you have
no evidence. You have no evidence to that. You know
they can't make false accusations without backing them up.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
I have the I have the receipt.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
You don't have any RECEIPTXT messages between the Vowel.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Oh you have access to our phone my phone, Yes,
a Vpno.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
It was VP and Standford.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Very precise negotiations with your phone.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Who knew she got that right? What a shock tee?
What do you do for a living?
Speaker 9 (07:45):
I'm a purchaser?
Speaker 5 (07:46):
Yeah, you know what.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
You're not a radio producer?
Speaker 9 (07:49):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Yeah. Wow, calling me out for cheating with Brian showed shocked.
We don't cheat. I just have an amazing knowledge of things.
You know, Ask me any question to you. I can
answer it without looking it up or anything like others
on the show. Do any question. You want to know?
Speaker 11 (08:09):
What is the top left button on your console?
Speaker 10 (08:11):
Do?
Speaker 11 (08:14):
That's such a great.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Question, that's so good.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
That's actually pretty simple.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Pre fader.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
It's labeled pre fader pre switch. It assigns that particular
channel to a separate output bus, we call it. So
regardless whether the volume nob is up or down, or
the switch is on or off, another device is fed
that audio.
Speaker 9 (08:34):
That's a volume NB.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
I'd say it's a volume knob.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Sounds right to me.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
I don't know, well, I know you have no idea
what it does.
Speaker 9 (08:42):
You guys can pitch, Brian can do the controls.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Oh god, oh god, no, we've tried that before. He's
trying to teach me, and I just it just looks
like lights and buttons. I don't understand.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
Yeah, I do like to do.
Speaker 9 (08:55):
What's the emphasis on human radio like live radio?
Speaker 5 (08:59):
No, people know we're live. We don't need to show
them anymore. If people know we're guaranteed human, people are
asking us to use AI.
Speaker 9 (09:10):
Oh that's pretty bad.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
It's pretty bad.
Speaker 10 (09:14):
All right.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
Listen, you're great. Come in here sitting the couch sometime,
will you. Oh yeah, of course you sound like you're fun.
And it's a good idea. We'll do the switcherrony uh.
We just had to figure out how to do it.
Who does what I'd love to do?
Speaker 9 (09:24):
Maybe when I go, I can be a part of
one of the segments.

Speaker 5 (12:31):

worried about. It is really concerned about the confection or
whatever it was, and pastry is the cookie is in
a biscuit.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
What is that?
Speaker 5 (12:43):
I don't know. It just rhymed or had a little
alliteration rather the Brisbane biscuit. Yes, she's getting a lot
of fame. Now, how did your husband deal with this?
Speaker 13 (12:53):
He loved it, was great, your parents loved it. Right,

Speaker 5 (15:16):
Then I got to glow the sun behind me and
I looked, I don't know, it looks good.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Run on the side. So then that way kind of.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
What I wanted to do was do this off air.
You know, this is like not something you per Why
are you doing this?
Speaker 3 (15:28):
I was setting up my own camera.
Speaker 2 (15:33):

Speaker 5 (17:03):
Okay, okay, all right, here we go, starting with Jill.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Okay, I had dental surgery to remove a permanent tooth,
and a third little toothbud grew back.
Speaker 5 (17:16):
All right, a toothbud. There you go. I will tell you.
I once swam with sharks and climbed out of the
water in a panic.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
Laura, I have.
Speaker 13 (17:34):
Some interesting birth defects.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Hmmm, what what I mean?
Speaker 5 (17:42):
You just gotta leave it at that. You just have
that interesting birth defect I don't even know what that
means either.
Speaker 13 (17:48):
Just yeah, there's just some stuff that happened.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
And okay, can we get a general area?
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Nope?
Speaker 5 (17:57):
Okay, all right, So she's got so birth defects. I
didn't have we seen them or no of them? Or
is it noticeable the average person wouldn't notice it? Okay,
all right, Well who's the liar?
Speaker 14 (18:13):
I am gonna go with chill.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
You're a liar. You have a baby tooth but or
something did not go back.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I do know someone that that happened to, So I
stole his story?
Speaker 5 (18:27):
You did? But the story have about those birth defects?
Speaker 13 (18:32):
What is going on there?
Speaker 3 (18:34):
That's the truth.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
Yeah, I did climb out of the horner. Don't get personal.
She said, you can't come on the air and say
something like that and not want.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
To follow up.
Speaker 5 (18:43):
You know, the guy comes into an interview. I buried
all the money behind that. You know what? What do
you know what I.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Can't tell you what I know about. Yes, it's the
one you know about it, sure, if it was something else,
But there's more, you know more.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
How many birth defects do you have?
Speaker 13 (18:58):
I think at least three.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Do you understand the phrase birth defects?
Speaker 13 (19:02):
I do, and I think it was just genetically. My
mother was a geriatric pregnancy. There was a few old
when I was born that they weren't sure about. But
I turned out to be a beautiful human. You know,
you did it all worked out well.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Vertically challenged, some would say, but is that one of
the defects.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Correct?
Speaker 5 (19:18):
No, you can't claim that it's a birth defect that
you're vertically challenged.
Speaker 13 (19:21):
There's something wrong with my legs and the height of
my legs.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
I can tell you birth defect.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Should you get a platter or some sorts?
Speaker 5 (19:32):
All right? Moving on? All right? So you got one
right there? Here we go, Here we go. Chill, take
it away.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Okay. I used to have a playboy bunny on my pelvis.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
What what I mean?
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Questions? You can't just no near the hip bone? I don't,
I mean, is it a tattoo? Is it a playboy buddy?
Lying on your hip phone? Like resting their heads.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
It's not a tattoo, but it's like a permanent skin.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
Coloration used to though, so it's not there anymore, so
you can't see it today. I don't know, dude, this
is your game, all right, here's me. I was once
in a relationship, very close relationship, if you know what
I mean, with a San Francisco forty nine ers CHEERLEADERA.
Speaker 13 (20:27):
I once found my pet alpaca unconscious in the backyard
and had to revive him back to life.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
All right, who's the liar?
Speaker 8 (20:41):
I'm gonna go with Laura.
Speaker 13 (20:46):
That is false. I did revive Oorgie the alpaca back
to life.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
Yeah, it's a true story, true story.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
She's not the liar.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
She's not the liar. I'm so sorry you had to
get two in a row to go. I appreciate you.
Speaker 9 (21:02):
All right, was it you?
Speaker 5 (21:03):
I don't know if we're supposed to tell you who
the liar was at this point, because there's two people
that could be lying right there. Yeah you know what
I mean?
Speaker 4 (21:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (21:16):
All right, thanks, So you will talk to me. You
want to be on the Christas card list?
Speaker 8 (21:20):
I would love it, Thank you?
Speaker 5 (21:21):
Hang tight, hang on all right, Emma, you ready, all right,
So it's not even uh now, it's not even like
two truths in a lie like two in a row. Now,
just guess the liar at this point, because you've been
on for so long. Okay, all right.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
When I was in middle school, I was accused of
stealing over one thousand dollars from our school's cafeteria.
Speaker 5 (21:49):
I will once again say, I will tell you there
was one point when I had a relationship a very
boyfriend girl relationship with a San Francisco forty nine ers cheerleader.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
I used to.
Speaker 13 (22:07):
Shop in my fingernails and scratch people, and people would
call me chlora.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
All that is so sad.
Speaker 12 (22:21):
I'm gonna go with.
Speaker 14 (22:26):
I'm gonna go with.
Speaker 11 (22:29):
Jill again.
Speaker 5 (22:30):
Jill is a liar.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Okay, I'm telling the truth. I was accused of stealing
a grand from our school's cafeteria. Middle school.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Oh shoot it all right, thanks Emma. We appreciate you. You
want to be in the Chrystals car last? Oh?
Speaker 13 (22:46):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (22:46):
Please?
Speaker 5 (22:46):
Yeah? Hang tight? One second? Hang on, all right, Eric,
you ready to play?
Speaker 11 (22:53):
I am ready already here we go.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
My friend. All right, two truths and a lie. Two
people telling the truth, one person telling the lie.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
I have seven piercings on my body.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
Seven piercings on your body? Okay, Laura, I used.
Speaker 13 (23:11):
To work at the SeaWorld and I would swim with
dolphins every day.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
All right. I used to be in an intimate relationship
boyfriend girlfriend, if you know what I mean. With a
San Francisco forty nine ers cheerleader who's telling the lie.
Speaker 10 (23:33):
Being a longtime listener, I don't think Jill's got seven piercing.
Speaker 11 (23:38):
She's so down to earth.
Speaker 10 (23:41):
There's no way she's got seven piercing.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
Thank you so much. That is true. That's a true story.
I have three holes in my ear lobes on each ear,
and then I also have the top pierce on my
right ear.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Oh okay, I don't know if anything to win.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
I have said it three times.
Speaker 5 (24:03):
I have made it very obvious. People, We go ahead.
Speaker 10 (24:09):
Yeah, you're a good looking guy, and we believe that
you can date a cheerleader. Yeah, body you want to date?
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Who would ever think that was a lie?
Speaker 5 (24:22):
Dar tune? Right, Okay, that's a lie? Alright, alright, well listen,
it's a lie, all right because she was a Dallas
cowboy cheerleader. All right, Eric I'm just gonna give it
to you because you're fine whatever.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
Yeah, if you're this.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Thing, I'm gonna call you back and give you some
tickets to yeah, yeah, to the frame.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
Which one was the person? Now you give the middle
lady of the shot, she'll go to. I don't know everyone,
we're gonna get y'all taking care everybody that was on.
We're gonna find tickets for you. Don't worry call back
because it fell apart this game.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Nobody got the obvious answers.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
I don't know, Eric, you want a pair of tickets
to see The Prey at YouTube Theater on the twenty fourth,
so tomorrow night, tickets around sale out ticketmaster dot com. Congrats.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
So people called you Klora.
Speaker 13 (25:17):
It was actually quite creative.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Did you scratch them like did they want to be
scratched like a backscratch or you just ran up to know?
Speaker 13 (25:23):
It was like attacking my sister attacking They called you Clora.
Speaker 5 (25:26):
Okay, and you've got seven piercings. Where were the holes again?
Speaker 4 (25:30):
So three on each ear lofl one in the top.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
Right you did the very top cartilage part. I don't
remember you ever having that.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
No dark Past had a chain that connected from face.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
No, you did not. I have known you so long.
You never had the chain that went from your ear
to No, why not?
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Like when Janet Jackson got so gross? Did it clipped on?
Speaker 3 (25:53):
No?
Speaker 5 (25:53):
I don't like piercings in the nose. I feel like
they hold boggers.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
But it was a clip on, a clip on.
Speaker 5 (25:59):
It was a fake, all right, gotcha? All right? There
was an artist years ago called Jane Child. We do
that from the ear to the nose. I never liked
it so cool. And then she was going on stage
one time and I was hosting a show what she
was doing and she was late. I grabbed her by
that just pulled her on stage. Uh huh, that's right,
that happened. Two trips and online Taylor sweat and all right, three,
(26:23):
my fam, it is Valentine in the morning. This will
mean nothing to you. And I know you don't really
care about how the sausage is made, so to speak.
That's never something that anybody wants to know. How do
you make the sausage? So to eat the sausage? Right?
The buttons that I press were dirty as dirty could be,
because they don't clean this stuff. Imagine never having cleaned
your phone in fifteen years. The stuff that sits here
(26:47):
are controls. Nobody cleans it. It's just not something that
gets done. You know, you blow it a little air
gun here and there or something. What is it that
looks dirty? And so yesterday this control surface of I
don't know, twenty five different switches and then a million
different knobs and stuff. I decided to clean it and
I went nuts. I took all the knobs off, I
put them in a sink, and I washed him and
(27:07):
I scrubbed him put it back together. People from different
stations were coming into our studio when I finished yesterday
afternoon just to see how clean it was. I am
booking other shows to clean their boards, like you know
the private car wash guy that comes to your house
or something like that. I'm gonna be that guy. Big
Boy's giving me three large to do his board. Yeah, okay, So,
(27:30):
I mean it looks pristine and clean and beautiful.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
It is impressive. It's the cleanest board I've ever seen
in my entire radio career.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
You couldn't get one cleaner if it was brand new.
I went between every knob with Lisol wipes and took
off every other knob and my god.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
It's just it's gorgeous. I'm so proud of myself.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
Right, did you find you? Did you find a toothbrush yesterday?
I know you were looking for a toothbrusp?
Speaker 5 (27:50):
I okay, I did. I got a toothbrush back here.
I used that as well. I used a scrubber. I
used boiling hot water to sanitize the knobs. You ever
put knobs and boiling hot water.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
In boiling hot water?
Speaker 5 (28:02):
Right, That's what I did. That's what I did.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Funny story for you.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
So you guys know, if you listen to a show
in a regular basis, my son is off to college
this fall, and some of you might be sick of
hearing me talk about that, and I apologize and thanks
for the grace in this story. So it's off to college.
And uh, I had to call about tuition yesterday because
that's it's a lot tuition, I'm sure, and I wanted
to see if they made a mistake, but I knew
what it was going in. But I called and I
(28:28):
was talking to her and he got a scholarship for
some money. So that that's going to be taken off
and that'll help, right, so the scholarship will help. And
I'm just looking at this and I'm like, my god,
and this is for uh, this is just for the
first semester. Yeah, that's for the fall semester. This really
looks like it could be for the whole thing? Are
you sure this is the whole year? Now that's just
false semester? Okay, all right, all right, deep threts everybody,
(28:52):
She says, I'm fine, No, we're all doing deep thrats
financially a lady. So then I go and I've got
permission to do this. I know you probably want to
talk about somebody granted me access to the payment portal
and stuff. She goes, Oh nah, yeah, the kids grant
you access. I can see that on my screen and stuff.
Those little boxes that are checked green shows what you've
been granted access to. I go, yeah, I noticed that too.
(29:13):
The first two are checked green, the financial part. The
third part is still red. It's unchecked. She goes, Oh, yeah,
that's granting you access to see their grades and get
their report cards.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
Well, why is that not green?
Speaker 5 (29:27):
She goes, I die laughing every time the parents notice
that for the first time.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
That is the funny.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
I crack up, laugh, and I go one, are the
parents gonna notice that? And eventually they always do. Yeah,
that's still checked red. It will be checked green at
some point. That little box it says I can't see
your grades, will check green. Now maybe the kids hoping
it's not like high school like all of us every week, Gode, hey,
turn those uh those tests in. Yeah, I'm gonna do it.
(29:54):
You turn that homework and yeah, yeah, because it still
says not turned in. No, it's all turned in. She
just hasn't done it yet. Oh, every parent, here's that
a million times in high school. The teacher just hasn't
entered the grades yet. It's all there. Don't worry. I
don't have a four. Okay, well you better not have
a four when this comes out.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
Now, what if Colin says, Dad, I don't want you
to see my grades. I'm going to keep that red.
Speaker 5 (30:17):
No, he may want to keep it red, but I
want to read those grades eventually. Now I'm not gonna
say I'm gonna go to the every week, not every
month or something like that, but maybe halfway through the
first semester. Take a Peaksey, you know you want that
tuition pay say I don't care to say it or
not if you're picking up that tuition.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
I worked hard to save money so we can send
her to college.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Amen.
Speaker 5 (30:41):
Doesn't a parent have to write to see those grades? Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (30:44):
What do you think?
Speaker 5 (30:44):
Three?
Speaker 2 (30:45):
One o four three? I get that.
Speaker 5 (30:46):
I'm a helicopter parent. I totally get it. And I
know that I gotta get better at that. I understand that.
Please trust me. I'm trying to do better. But at
the same time, and I know you have to enable
your child to do good on their own, but I'm
also paying for this, me and my wife. You know what,
up studied a little harder, maybe would have got a
bigger scholarship. You know what I'm saying? All right? So
(31:11):
what do you think?
Speaker 13 (31:11):
Three?
Speaker 5 (31:12):
One oh four to three Just a quick survey of
parents out there.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
One o four to three my FM, here's what's coming
up an entertainment headline j.
Speaker 5 (31:20):

Speaker 4 (31:23):

He's joined OnlyFans? Are they do we know if it's
a guy. Anyway, they're on OnlyFans. I'll tell you what
they're up to doing. Coming up after traffic one four.
Speaker 1 (31:37):

the cast. Also Mike Henry and Melissa O'Neill from the
Rookie and they will be joining Seth McFarlane and ghost

six and it's South Freeze to describe the Ghost Space.
I'm only fans and ghost Face has listed the things
that they'll do and they won't do. The list of
dues include Lusty Confessionals, Steamy dms. But ghost Face says
(32:24):

promising that there will be daily surprises, spicy content and
not safe for work goodies. I'm Jill with entatimid headlines.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
Texts coming in here three one oh four three, Yes,
we paying. We are looking at those grades and they're
location as well, and the texts I one hundred percent
of access to my college students portals. I agree that
if I'm paying for college, I get to see how
they're doing. I never actually look, though, because they're always
excited to show me how good they're doing. But if
(32:55):
ever worry about it, I would absolutely go and check.
Why doesn't you get a part time job on campus
so you deserve to see his grades? I would want
to absolutely, you need to see. It's protecting your investment.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
Oh that's good.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
I want to see the return of my investment. Here
you pay, you have a say, Uh, this will pass.
I've a senior in college never checked a grade. Grades
drop a bit on the adjustment period. But you have
raised an incredible man, showed the trust. He will rise
to it.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Oh that's an interesting take.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Check that number. See if that's my kid?
Speaker 5 (33:27):
All right? I agree with val scroll that fry. If
the parents paying for school, they're entitled to see the grades. Uh,
semester in college is a year of high school. You
bet your bleep. I'm seeing those grades. I pay I
see period. All right?
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Oh can we read?
Speaker 3 (33:44):

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (33:47):
Yeah, reading that one. Joe, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
You can do. Only fans with that mustache for tuition
just saying.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
Oh wow that's what you said.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
Wow, you could make some money.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
I feel with my staff right now.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
I like you with this, Okay.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
I know you don't need my approval, but no need.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
I need my wife's approval, and she does not approve.
She made me sleep in the guest room last night. Yes,
just don't put that thing next to me?
Speaker 4 (34:13):
Now?
Speaker 5 (34:13):
What is that to get out of here? You look
like you're doing like fall some prism blues or something.
You know. I suppose that song is that? What is
called fall? Some prison?

(35:42):
in the morning. It's seven owaight coming up later on
this hour. Have you ever been serenaded by a random
guy the guitar at a party? Okay, everybody call for that?
What song did he sing to you? Three? One oh
four three?
Speaker 4 (35:53):
A random memory popped into my head yesterday when we
were playing Wonderwall from Oasis. I remember I was at
a party with my best friend Karina. We were on
the couch and some guy just came out of nowhere
with a guitar, sat next to me and just started
playing Wonderwall and singing to me.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Did his brother sit down next to him?
Speaker 5 (36:12):
No?
Speaker 4 (36:13):
No, they were not a waste as much. But I
knew that this was a thing when it happened a
second time at another party. Different guy, Different guy, different city,
just showed up with a guitar in the room and
started playing California by Phantom with It, Phantom Planets, oh yeah,
you know, and Oasis. I feel was one of the
(36:34):
bigger songs that was saying a party song at parties.
I don't know, but I feel like I'm not the
only one that went through this. I feel like guys
were picking up guitars.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
There's a time we did that.
Speaker 5 (36:43):
Yeah. Yeah, I was never that guy. I didn't have
that skill, but I knew guys that would do that. Yeah,
And there are, like there are certain songs from my
generation and we'll get into it after we get through
the battle. Stuff like that that you could guarantee if
a guy knew how to play it, he'd play it
at a party.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
And I guess is one of them too.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I don't believe that anybody feels.
Speaker 11 (37:04):
The way to a.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
D that's such a Goig song.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
We got so much trouble yesterday. I didn't get in trouble.
You did.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
He came down on me, and that's when I know.
Speaker 5 (37:16):
It's serious if you won't talk to me about it,
like if you put some in the group text John
Peacar Boss goes stop singing at the radio. Nobody likes it,
but he just goes to Brian behind the scenes. He goes,
stop that, stop it right now. Then I know it's
like serious. So I went to try and apologize to
him yesterday, but I can find him. I was like,
maybe baby ship change me. I was like John, after all,
(37:46):
I said, John Peek, you're kind of my wonderwall. So
three one oh four three have you ever been serenaded
at a party with a guy with a guitar? What
did they sing to you? It is a battle of this.

That means we go to a not so tough tiebreaker question.
Holler at your name for the answer. Your name will
be your buzzer. Wait until Brian Burton finishes asking the
question before you buzz in.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
Name a celebrity with a great mustache.
Speaker 5 (40:19):
Tom Salick, Tom Selleck, Oh my god, one of the
best stashes out there. Brother great mouth too, because that
was actually him that did that found pound pound found
You got it, dude. Battle of the Sexes Championship certificate,
(40:39):
post the assult shoes, the hashtag Valentine in the morning
to share it with Pride. Oh by the way, seconds
from now, Laura's doing the traffic, so I know you're
excited for that. You've also got a four pack of
tickets to Universal Studios. Hollywood four launches three inversions, three
sixty degree rotations. What am I talking about? Fast and
furious Hollywood Drift. Let's go. Bonus chance for everybody to
(41:00):
into on the iHeart Are you app Tap the contest
tab while you're listening to one of four to three
MYFM to edge to win. Pretty simple. While you're listening
to one of four to three MIAFM, you'll see a
button to make us the number one pre set. Do that.
It helps your chances and you'll see the contest tab
as well. Click out if you want to enter a
bunch of contests. So thank you guys for that. Now,
as you exit the stage, creand this moment is entirely yours,
(41:22):
you take it away.
Speaker 9 (41:24):
I just wanted to say thank you for letting me play.
And I want to do a shout out to my
son Jackson.
Speaker 8 (41:29):
He's in Texas right now for the show.
Speaker 5 (41:31):
All right, Jackson wants up in Texas listening to the
free iHeartRadio app. Thank you very much standing by with
that morning traffic. The Brisbane Biscuit.
Speaker 13 (41:42):
All right, everyone bumping a bump up with the Brisbane
Biscuit is back.
Speaker 9 (41:46):
All right.
Speaker 13 (41:46):
They have given me the on ofp but it's just
for today only, so everyone, I get too excited. I
want to take it out across to Malibu. Unfortunately, it's
probably time to wind down those windows and enjoy the
view because you may be there a while. There's looks
like there's some dense roads construction happening in the right
lane that is closed now on the Pacific Coast Highway
at Tabanga Canyon Boulevard. Hate to be given the bad
(42:09):
news to Mi Armi. But the duration of that is
seven hours.
Speaker 5 (42:14):
The road work.
Speaker 13 (42:15):
The roadwork will go on for seven hours. Okay, not
for delay.
Speaker 12 (42:19):
All right.
Speaker 13 (42:21):
Down, okay, remain god. I do want to say that
this traffic report, it's not looking good everywhere. There's like
a little bit of congestion. We're gonna move over to
the Cajun Pass. I hope that'll pronounce that rong. Okay,
come home pass everyone out there. Sorry, Laura's army feeling there.
And that's gonna be on the one thirty eight eastbound
between the fifteen and before Summit Valley Road. There is
(42:44):
some road construction again with the right shoulder close. That's
a fifty six minute delay there. I've seen better, but
I've also seen worse in Malibu, could be worse. Lastly,
we're gonna look over at Loma Linda. There is a
vehicle fire not good with the right land closed on
the ten westbound at Anderson Street, and there's about only
a ten minute to lay there. So some more better
(43:06):
traffic news there and it well, good morning, and I'll
be making my way back to the traffic helicopter in.
Speaker 5 (43:15):
By the way, like I love that right It can
home pass. Yeah, I get it. Yesterday though you guys
missed it. She was doing downtown Bakersfield traffic. Yeah, I
was like.
Speaker 13 (43:23):
I know, was that Sandwisidrome?
Speaker 5 (43:26):
No very far away?
Speaker 4 (43:29):
You're in Santa Barbara to At one point.
Speaker 5 (43:31):
She did Santa Barbara Traffic District, nation wide.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Station, stuff like that.
Speaker 5 (43:38):
You don't need to go up to Bakersfield or Santa
Barbara County. I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (43:42):
July is Disability Pride Month.
Speaker 6 (43:44):
Three things you need to know right now?
Speaker 5 (43:46):
All right, seven twenty two, It's Valentine in the morning.
This is one of four three mi FM. Another dangerous
heat wave hitting southern California in extreme heat warning and
effect today. Tempers expected to climb to nearly one ten
in some cities. Jill, what are you expecting in River?
Speaker 6 (44:00):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (44:00):
I think it was like a one o six the
last time I got.
Speaker 5 (44:03):
Yeah, it's gonna be hot. LA could hit ninety eight degrees,
which would break the record high for this date. The
dangerous heat is expected to continue through the weekend as well,
so please, whatever you gonna do, be careful.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
Also keep your shades pulled.
Speaker 5 (44:18):
If you have shades of the house or curtains or
something like that, because that will help keep your house cooler.
My wife loves to open the shades, the drapes rather
in our bedroom when the day starts. I'm like, no,
be a vampire. Keep them pulled. It'll help keep your
house cooler and stuff. As I look at my area,
to ninety four for a high today, Sunday ninety five
(44:39):
for high. Yeah, that's hot for that area, that's very hot.
You know. Today the Dodger's gonna visit the White House
to celebrate their second consecutive World Series championship. Didn't I
as well just hang out and stay. We're here for
the third one. They look so good. Yesterday, Dodgers beat
the Phillies nine to five to remain in first place
in the NLS. With the commanding eleven game lead, they
(44:59):
travel to New York tomorrow to take on the Mets.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
Jill, What's training Your music?
Speaker 4 (45:03):
Last night, Ed Sheeran performed at Peco Park in San Diego,
and he said he received an email that day from
someone who said, Hey, can me and my family come
to your gig in San Diego? And Ed said, yes,
but I would like to sing with you. So then
on stage last night, he said I met someone last
year who released a song that I was jealous of,
and he brought out Alex Warren and they sang ordinary
(45:35):
together on stage. Surprise the crowd. They went crazy. They
sounded really good together, did they this? The audio is
a little that.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
Sounds like me at karaoke last night.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
Honestly, no, I didn't want to say anything bad because
these guys are both wonderful.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
Dude's invidied so many times.
Speaker 5 (45:52):
I love him. But like that first party here, listening
to you got clouds to be fair.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
Go ahead, they're jumping around, they're so excited. I'm sure
if you were there it sounded sounded a little better.
Speaker 5 (46:16):
I would think, No, it didn't sound horrible, but it
didn't sound as polished anyway.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
They were excited. I'm Jill filling in for John and
that's what's trending in music.
Speaker 5 (46:27):
Thousand bucks coming up eight o'clock plus right now. Have
you ever been serenaded by a random guy of the
guitar at a party? What song did he sing to you?
Speaker 6 (46:33):
This?
Speaker 4 (46:33):
Texas? Yes, Jill, this was a thing in my college days.
A guy just joined me and my friends on the
couch and started playing more than words by.
Speaker 5 (46:41):
Extreme, That's exactly what I was going to say. That
was the big Boston hit when I was a young man,
where guys who had a guitar, they'd play that song
extreme more than words. There was another one too, I'll
see how fast Brian can get it. And you didn't
(47:01):
have to be great to sing this song. I feel
like you know, Ad and Alex could have done this too.
Speaker 11 (47:08):
Show me.
Speaker 5 (47:13):
Yeah, huge with lace.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
This was another one.
Speaker 5 (47:16):
So a guy comes in with a guitar, Tell me
if he's gonna make you swoon, if he can sing
and play this a guitar.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Are you ready?
Speaker 5 (47:22):
Close your eyes, take yourself back to sitting on that couch.
Handsome man sits down next to you and says, hey,
can I play something? We're both las sun sting in
the didder of the night, although we both la close together.
What I'm taking my top off? This is so good?
(47:49):
What about you just get you?
Speaker 4 (47:51):
Yeah? You know the song?
Speaker 13 (47:53):
I love it now?
Speaker 5 (47:55):
The second right here he sings this to you. Maybe
not I learned it has it's every cowboys sings that song,
SA say it it sounds Maybe all of us guys
(48:19):
just thought this would work in the ladies, But it
never did.
Speaker 4 (48:21):
I don't know. I might be alone on this, but
I feel the guy is getting off the guitar at
a party. It's not doing anything for me.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
That does nothing for you, sitting down Wow.
Speaker 4 (48:30):
Like I remember being like, oh, please stop making eye
contact with me, Like, just let me enjoy the party.
I'm glad you can play guitar.
Speaker 13 (48:37):
The usually.
Speaker 4 (48:40):
I like it.
Speaker 5 (48:41):
But a lot of these guys like were good. I
knew guys were good doing this and this. I cannot
believe this would not work. It's magic on you. You
need something different, you need something that really works. It's
magic on you. I know what you need. Guys just
stand next to you and says, hey, did I sing
you a little song?
Speaker 8 (48:58):
I like?
Speaker 5 (48:59):
Big?
Speaker 4 (49:02):
Did not?
Speaker 5 (49:03):
Would that work on you?
Speaker 4 (49:05):
I'm moving?
Speaker 5 (49:06):
Oh god, what has happened to society?
Speaker 6 (49:10):
All right?
Speaker 5 (49:10):
It's one of four three my fam It's Valentine in
the morning.
Speaker 4 (49:13):
Girls don't get.
Speaker 5 (49:17):
One of four three my family, It's Valentine in the morning.
A lot of texts coming in here. Something we can read,
some we can't. Uh, some of you forgot. There are
little ears in the car with your text today. Three
one oh four three three one o four three uh,
people suggesting songs that if somebody sat down on a
couch next end of the party, it really would work
(49:37):
in them. So every rose has a thorn does not
work on Jill or Laura. And extreme more than Words
did not work on Jill or Laura. No, I like
big butts, got a bit of a rise out of
je dancing. They did start dancing. You guys want to
reach out though it's three one oh four three.
Speaker 6 (49:54):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four three.
Speaker 5 (49:57):
We all drive toyotas here on Valentine and warning, I loved,
loved getting to drive that Tacoma a few weeks ago.
Should have had the handlebar mustache going on then, yeah,
oh my god, people would have just cleared off the
mountain when I drove up there. People would have been
running down, like, get out of the way. It's mountain man.
But great ride. Really loved it. I do drive a
Prius on a regular basis, and I love my Prius too.
(50:19):
My weather to extreme heat warning begins this morning at
ten am. It's gonna get very hot. Highs nineties and
triple digits mid eighties near the beaches. Seventy three Pomona
seventy in Long Beach. I gave you that ten and
I hope you take it. Keep your drapes, keep your
curtains closed so this summer sun doesn't come blaring in
your house. If you have a house that gets that.
(50:41):
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
Hey, Harry Potter film is returning to theaters. I'll tell
you when and why coming up at seven fifty.
Speaker 5 (50:49):
Eight sixty six five four four MIFM text and three
one oh four to three. The song that they sing
to you the guy sits down on the couch should
a party, grabs a guitar and tries to serenade you.
She Al said it happened to her multiple times.
Speaker 4 (51:02):
Yeah, and apparently I wasn't alone. This happened quite a bit.
This text says once way back in my twenties. He
was the boyfriend of a friend Greg. He thought I
could play the guitar. He played under the boardwalk and
made everybody sing along.
Speaker 5 (51:17):
Under the boardwalk, Hannah, and see, you'd be into that
if a guy sat down and sang that next to you. No, no, no,
I hate So what song did a guy try to
serenade you?
Speaker 9 (51:28):
With My song was all Well for Christmas with You
by Mariah Carey.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
Wait, a guy would sit down and start singing that
to you.
Speaker 9 (51:37):
Well, so it was actually by a bunch of frat men.
Speaker 5 (51:42):
I don't know if I call him men. Where do
you put the word frat in front of it? I
never I never had frat all by men. All right,
so the frat boys, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 9 (51:52):
Yeah. So I was in a sorority and like I
lived in the house and they would bring the new
members to like go caroling for lack of better word,
And as they're in the middle of their performance, I
think they did like three songs. Yeh, some guy comes
and grabs me and brings me to a chair that's
right in front of the group, and then they started
singing All I Want for Christmas is You by.
Speaker 11 (52:12):
Mariah carry Supercute.
Speaker 9 (52:14):
One of them bags to me on the nose. It
was one of the strangest experiences, all right, take back.
Speaker 5 (52:20):
Take back the super cute. Were they dressed?
Speaker 9 (52:24):
Yeah, they had like Christmas letters on and everything. It
was their organized. They had a whole routine and it
was probably like twenty of them.
Speaker 5 (52:33):
Yeah, guys, we all believe too that we can get
together in front of the girls somewhere and just make
her swoon, which could.
Speaker 9 (52:41):
Not make me.
Speaker 14 (52:42):
What So.
Speaker 4 (52:44):
I feel like, you know, a guy on stage, maybe
like a professional singer with a guitar. Yes, oh of course,
But this is a random guy at a party when
I'm enjoying myself with my friends, just come sit down
and ask if you can sing for me.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
Yeah, but sometimes they've got it, you know what I mean.
Speaker 9 (52:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 13 (52:59):
No.
Speaker 5 (53:00):
Here you are sitting on the couch at the party.
Brian and I walk up with a few other fellows
and were like, you never close your eyes anymore. I
kiss you're lizz.
Speaker 4 (53:11):
I would leave the party.
Speaker 5 (53:12):
There's no tennis before in your finger tips.
Speaker 10 (53:17):
I'm a theater kid.
Speaker 9 (53:18):
So someone came up and be like, oh my god,
let's go sing this duet together. I'm like, oh my god,
let's go do it.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
Yeah, you're performing with them.
Speaker 5 (53:25):
I'm try and hot.
Speaker 14 (53:27):
I like that, all right, Thanks, Thank you, guys.
Speaker 5 (53:32):
To buck one thousand bucks. Come you're way at eight
o'clock this morning, one thousand dollars on the way. It
is one of four to three mile fam It's Valentine
in the morning. It's for one of four to three,
my fam. It is Valentine in the morning. Sandra, good morning.
(53:54):
How are you today?
Speaker 14 (53:55):
I'm well, how are you?
Speaker 5 (53:57):
We're doing good Will on bluetooth right now. Can you
get on speaker in your phone or something. I don't
want to get arrested though, either.
Speaker 14 (54:02):
Is that better?
Speaker 2 (54:03):
That's so much better? Yeah, so much better.
Speaker 5 (54:06):
Oh you're the best caller, So Sandrew. What was the
song that if a guy sits down on the couch
it might make you swoon to be saying it to you.
Speaker 9 (54:15):
That would be.
Speaker 14 (54:16):
Three Am by Matchbox twenty yo.
Speaker 5 (54:20):
Great Rob Thomas knows what he's doing when he writes songs,
doesn't he.
Speaker 14 (54:25):
I'd have to say it worked because that was my
husband and that was he was that guy.
Speaker 5 (54:30):
Marry Thomas. Ye, yes, so your husband did an acoustic
of three Am.
Speaker 14 (54:37):
Oh yeah, he was that guy at every party thinking
out that guitar.
Speaker 11 (54:42):
Still do.
Speaker 5 (54:43):
Sometimes there are guys that know how to play guitar
and if they got a decent voice, they weaponize it
and they use it to get ladies. And he did
that to you, didn't He He did?
Speaker 14 (54:54):
He did, and it worked, So I guess I can't
say anything bad.
Speaker 4 (54:58):
Was he a good singer? Was he a good guitar player?
Speaker 14 (55:03):
Well, he's listening. So he was the best ever that
I've ever heard in my life. Okay, he was season enough,
but he would really just get everybody singing along. And
it's kind of like this, you know.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
Yeah, my problem was it back in college?
Speaker 5 (55:17):
Your problem with it?
Speaker 4 (55:18):
It was just because the people that did it to me,
I probably just learned the song the day before. Like
they weren't good. It was almost just like a forced
let me try and impress you type thing.
Speaker 5 (55:30):
Yeah, yeah, but what looked pretty good.
Speaker 14 (55:32):
He's in a band, so it's so good.
Speaker 4 (55:34):
Yeah, I think that that's that's good.
Speaker 5 (55:36):
The problem is, once you get your pilot's license to
fly an airplane, you fly. So once you learn how
to play guitar and you learn a song, you sing it.
You don't wait years to debut it. Nobody does that
because you're so excited to bring it forth. You're so
excited to try it on a girl, like, hey, let
me just try this out tonight. You missed a few
notes here and there, but who cares. Obviously you did,
(55:57):
I guess, So.
Speaker 4 (55:59):
Is that a down for you?
Speaker 5 (56:00):
Yeah, that's awesome, Cassandra, it is it was.
Speaker 14 (56:04):
It was good times, but yeah, sometimes it would still
be cringe like, oh good, not right?
Speaker 5 (56:09):
Well, hold on, what if he had done this one
right here because I got pushedback when I did this
a second ago. What if he did that?
Speaker 14 (56:21):
No, I don't think that would have worked on me.
What I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (56:31):
Every frat boy in the world knows this song. Everybody
tries to do it. You're trying hard not to show.
Speaker 2 (56:39):
This is the part everybody gets down.
Speaker 5 (56:43):
Baby Sandra loss. Come on, that wouldn't work on you.
Speaker 14 (56:54):
You guys get in trouble for this already.
Speaker 13 (56:56):
Yes, thank you.
Speaker 4 (56:57):
That was just about to say, you guys, I can't sing.
Our boss get so mad at us yesterday.
Speaker 3 (57:03):
If you know Valentine, you know he's gonna just do
it again the next day.
Speaker 5 (57:09):
That's just the way.
Speaker 14 (57:10):
The more trouble he gets in, the more he does it.
Speaker 5 (57:14):
Kind of kind of, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (57:16):
I'm sorry. I apologize. I just don't worry.
Speaker 5 (57:18):
A bunch of friends having fun. I've misinterpreted how radio works.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
I'm not a scripted radio show.
Speaker 5 (57:23):
I'm not liked all these shows up and down the
dial that are fake and scripted and stuff. I'm sorry,
We're just real folks having fun. Rite Cassandra, I love it.
Speaker 14 (57:32):
It's great. But in trouble, well.
Speaker 2 (57:35):
We already are. I won't be here tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (57:38):
Guarantee you that, Cassandra, have a great day. Love, thank
you for calling you. Okay one O four three my FM.
Speaker 1 (57:47):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (57:51):
We talked about this yesterday, and now Conan O'Brien has
explained the reason for his hairstyle.
Speaker 5 (57:58):
Wet and flash.
Speaker 4 (57:59):
Yes, wet and flat. I'll tell you what he said,
and it has to do with President Obama.
Speaker 5 (58:03):
I have listened. I listened to the podcast yesterday, the
Whole Show podcast, because I enjoy our show. I'm here
with it, and I also enjoy listening back to it.
And that wet and flat comment you had, Yeah, it
made me laugh so much because I kind of like it.
You know, it's like it's wet and flat. No one
has ever said wet and flat in a positive way.
Speaker 4 (58:21):
Easter Seal's Disability Services honors Disability Pride.
Speaker 13 (58:25):
Month live from the Traffic Kellicop kidding I read the studio. Okay,
let's joke back in with people of Low Melinda. That
vehicle fire still has stop and go traffic from the
ten westbound at Anderson Street. The right lane is blocked
and the off ramp is closed, but we're only looking
at about a seven minute delay there, so not too bad.
(58:46):
If you're heading to the airport. The right lane is
closed at Superable Boulevard between Century Boulevard and west Chester Parkway.
It is looking like the closure is going to only
call you about five minute delay or so, so no
need to be running to your boarding gates. I want
to bring us back to the heart of Los Angeles
mid city. We do have stop and go traffic from
(59:07):
the ten westbound before Crenshaw Boulevard. The accident there has
been cleared, but we're looking at only a nine minute delay.
The good news for all these delays is you get
to listen to Brian and val serenade you for maybe
ten minutes long.
Speaker 5 (59:20):
Ater No, No, No, that got shut down so fast.
There's an allegation going around, and I'm not sure if
it's true or not. We went off the air first
split second. John Peak flipped a switch and took us
off to teach us a lesson because we were singing,
and then we had dead air and something happen. The
engineers are looking into it. I would not put it
(59:42):
past John Peak. Uhuh wow. One four to three.
Speaker 1 (59:45):
My SM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (59:48):
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone we'll return to theaters
for its twenty fifth anniversary, plus twelve minutes of bonus footage.
It's all part of their twenty twenty six Back to
Hogwarts program, and the celebration starts on September first and
centers around there, which is a date of which students
traditionally returned to Hogwarts and the Harry Potter stories. And
(01:00:09):
then all separately, all eight Harry Potter films are going
to screen in theaters worldwide from August twenty seventh through
September third. And Conan O'Brien has explained the reason for
the new style of his hair that was seen on
his latest podcast episode. He attended the outdoor grand opening
ceremony for Barack Obama's Presidential Center in Chicago and he
(01:00:32):
got so sunburned on his scalp so a few days later,
his skull felt like it was on fire and became itchy,
so he was told to rub oil on his scalp
to help it heal. And he did that right before
he left the house, not thinking that he was going
to be on camera that day for his podcast.
Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
So it was all wet and flat.
Speaker 4 (01:00:52):
Yes, and I love what he said about it. He said,
I look like I'm in Shannana. I'm a grease ball.
I'm Frankie Valley. Then he said, I just want to
fight people in the streets. I want to get a
hot rod and drive it around. I'm one of the
thunderbirds that is easily fifty five years old. I want
to put a bubblegum cigarette behind my ear. I'm Jill
with it intimid headline.
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
It looks like a hooligan from southeast South Boston or something.
Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
You know, it's so good.
Speaker 5 (01:01:15):
Yeah, And you're going, it's wet and flat.
Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
You know, honestly what it looks like.
Speaker 5 (01:01:18):
I know, but you're saying, I don't think it's bad.
It's just wet and flat. There was nothing complimentary though
about wet and flat, Like if ConA was in the
studio and you go, oh, you're here so wet and flat.
Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Good, Well thanks.
Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
If my hair was wet and flat, I'd be happy
about it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
No, you know it's no.
Speaker 5 (01:01:33):
The only good comeback you had yesterday when I was
taking the wet and flat thing you said is somebody's
tummy on the beach. Oh that's right, Yeah, so wet
and flat.
Speaker 4 (01:01:42):

not for the show anymore, or the company wants to
make a change, that's on them. It's not you at
that moment. Anybody let go from a job. Think about that.
You know what you're doing. You are responsible, you are good,
you are valuable. They make their own decisions for their
own reasons, but that does not take away anything from
(01:04:55):
who you are as a person.

Speaker 12 (01:20:55):
I like her humor and like the way she said it.
Speaker 11 (01:20:57):
It's all the things.
Speaker 5 (01:20:58):
Yeah. The one thing it's missing, all be honest and
please not a critique is accuracy.
Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
And that's that's a thing, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:21:07):
Making this all up.
Speaker 5 (01:21:09):
We're getting we're getting progress over the trapper points. We
have left Santa Barbara County based on necessity to be
in the La Concorside ours the area. Yeah, but you're sweet,
and she's got one coming up just for you, Chris. Okay,
what where are you at? What road are you on?
Where are you at? What road?
Speaker 12 (01:21:30):
I'm currently on the one four on the way too
towards Pasadena.
Speaker 5 (01:21:35):
It is under her. Uh, it's on her radar, so
to speak.
Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
One four to three. Here's what's coming up.
Speaker 4 (01:21:45):
In entertainment headlines, Disney posted something yesterday on their social
media accounts that scared me. I almost passed out. My
heart jumped into my throat and I wasn't alone. I'll
tell you what did this to us? Right up to traffic.
Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
Sm Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
Jonathan Bailey from Wicked and Bridgerton. He is going to
narrate a Dracula audiobook and it's going to put a
new spin on the novel. The guest also includes Amy
lu Wood from White Lotus and Maggie Jillenhall, and it's
going to be out this fall. Yesterday I opened up
Instagram and the first thing I see is a picture
(01:22:25):
of Julie Andrews. She's in all white, the background behind
her is all white. I immediately break out in a
cold sweat. I want to throw up. The caption says courage, resilience, grace,
and I thought.
Speaker 13 (01:22:40):
Oh no, oh no, it's tough.
Speaker 4 (01:22:46):
I thought I thought she passed away. No, that's that's
not the case.
Speaker 13 (01:22:52):
Thank goodness, Thank goodness.
Speaker 4 (01:22:53):
They're releasing a documentary all about Julie Andrews on Disney Plus.
I almost started crying. Hey, it looks angelic. Honestly, the
photo they posted, which she is an angel.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
It's probably a little clickbait there in some respects.
Speaker 5 (01:23:07):
People need to be careful with what they're saying, what
they're doing. I was this is a bigges side, biggest
side here. A friend of mine from Memory Care moved
his dad to a different facility, right, And last night
Joni Bad Memory Care on the mic goes, guys, this
is in remembrance of our friend so and so he
(01:23:30):
moved down the street. You guys, would you gotta understand
you do these words and you say these things.
Speaker 4 (01:23:36):
I mean, look at this photo.
Speaker 5 (01:23:37):
Oh that's a gone the Heaven photo.
Speaker 4 (01:23:39):
I got so scared. She's ninety years old. She's my
absolute favit. Poppins is my favorite Disney movie all time,
and it's super fregonistic and Julie Andrews and Vanda. The
sound of it is something treasures And I'm just letting
you guys know an advantage something if something happened to them.
I'm going to have sick day.
Speaker 5 (01:24:00):
Can you spell super Kella fragilistic gets by Yali doc
I can, but I need.
Speaker 4 (01:24:05):

Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
They do it in the Broadway play, in the Broadway musical,
they spell it in song, and my husband can do it.
And I am so jealous of him because he knows
every single letter.
Speaker 5 (01:24:41):
I mean, I think I just said it too.
Speaker 8 (01:24:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:24:45):
No, But.
Speaker 4 (01:24:48):
But luckily Julie Andrews, she is good and a new
documentary is coming to Disney Plus in twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 5 (01:24:54):
She's alive, She's alive.
Speaker 4 (01:24:56):
Scared me so bad years ago.
Speaker 5 (01:24:59):
Oh sorry, good, I'm I looked at me time the headline.
Years ago, remember we talked about somebody in the air,
an old actor, and we all thought he had passed,
and his publicist said to call us up and go,
he's not dead, And then she got him on the
phone line. You were doing your like remembrance, Yeah, of
this actor. Well, we're just he came up in topic. Oh,
it's so sad he passed away. And then the lady
called up, No, he's not dead, he's alive. He's working,
(01:25:20):
and she got him to call in. You know who
that actor was? You know who that actor was? You
guys don't remember I do, I do, I can. We
can say the same time right in the count you
count us down three to one, we'll say it three
two one. Richard Chamberlain. Richard Chamberlain. We did it with
Aba Goda to No, he didn't call it. Richard Chamberlain
(01:25:43):
called it from the Thornbirdsuse. I love that movie, and
I thought that was a hot movie. It was a
priest and a lady on a beach. Really huh. Here's
Miley cyrus to climb econorrmosy.
Speaker 6 (01:26:02):
We love you, Los Angeles.
Speaker 11 (01:26:05):
Your shot at one thousand dollars.
Speaker 5 (01:26:07):
Now, all right, thousand bucks. Here we go. The word
is rich R I c H. That's the name of
one of our favorite engineers, rich I love you. There
you go, rich R I c H. Take that to
one of four three MIFF dot com. Little window's gonna
pop up. Type that word in. You can win yourself
one thousand dollars. Rich Ore I c H.
Speaker 2 (01:26:27):
You got fifty to fifty five minutes.
Speaker 11 (01:26:29):
To get done.
Speaker 2 (01:26:29):
As Jill always is.
Speaker 5 (01:26:31):
Gear due like that.
Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
Take the word rich to one of four three MYFM
dot com.
Speaker 5 (01:26:38):
Wise, ma'am, now twenty five.
Speaker 2 (01:26:42):
It is one of four to three MYFM. It's Valence
in that morning, Jill.
Speaker 5 (01:26:45):
You're on vacation tomorrow, Yes, and you're on vacation tomorrow,
am I. I don't know. Maybe I'll come in, maybe
I'll go on vacation. Who knows, who knows?
Speaker 4 (01:26:54):
You have a flight?
Speaker 5 (01:26:56):
Yeah, those things though, you never know, you never know. No,
I'm supposed to me I kid in Boston. Yeah, and
I want to post this thing. It's so flipping funny.
But my wife, because you have to ask him now,
you have to ask him for approval and stuff about it.
I'm like, yeah, but it's just so funny, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
Is it what you showed us earlier?
Speaker 2 (01:27:14):
Yeah, I mean I can say it. I think it's
funny too.
Speaker 5 (01:27:18):
So I got him on like through sixty right, just rightibly,
just for no reason at all, rightbly just felt like, good,
look yesterday, you know he's in Boston. Up, just be
kind of cool to see. Is that Fenway orhere' is
that whatever? And it says Colin boating near North Atlantic
Ocean since four or eight pm. I'm sorry, wow, boating
(01:27:38):
near the North Atlantic Ocean? What life do you leave?
Speaker 3 (01:27:43):
God?
Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
When I grew up, I want to be.
Speaker 13 (01:27:45):
My kids to full size trucks, experience the incredible power
and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.
Speaker 6 (01:27:55):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 5 (01:27:59):
This morning, other water may break causing flooding in West Hollywood.
Speaker 2 (01:28:03):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:28:03):
Guys? The break hapin just blocks away from the sight
of a much larger pipe rupture, which said about seventeen
million gallons of water on the Sunset Boulevard last week. Now,
LEDWP says all. And they also say this new break
is not connected to that earlier incident, which I don't
know if that's better or worse. You know, a totally
different incident where it's another big break. Yikes. Today, the
(01:28:25):
Dodgers going to visit the White House to celebrate their
second consecutive World Series championship. Yesterday, the Dodgers beat the
Phillies nine to five. They remained in first place in
the NL West with a commanding eleven game lead. They
traveled to New York tomorrow to take on the Mets.
Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
Joe What's trying to get music?
Speaker 4 (01:28:41):
Last night? Ed Chern performed at Petco Park in San Diego,
and he said he received an email that day from
someone who said, can me and my family come to
your gig in San Diego and Ed said yeah, but
I would like to sing with you. And then he
told the crowd I met someone last year who released
a song that I was jealous of, and he out
Alex Warren and they sang Ordinary. The crowd loved it.
(01:29:14):
I'm Jill feeling it for John and that's what's turning
in music.
Speaker 5 (01:29:24):
Yeah, here's the crowd. I was working for the crowd
all right.
Speaker 2 (01:29:31):
It's so funny because the auto is like not the best.
Speaker 5 (01:29:33):
Yes, And at one point I kind of feel like
it's memory here of karaoke. But this is me last night, man,
lighten it up? What didn't I sing? I had to do. Joni,
who's over there, wanted me to do Wonderful Tonight to
(01:29:57):
close it out. That's a hard song. You know you
look wonderful tonight. So the two of us duetted that. Well,
she's out of Joney's saying, I gotta read you Joni's text.
Joni's out of control. I shouldn't do this, but you know,
I'm going to vacation tomorrow. And so Jony is somebody
that lives over there, very sweet lady, and she goes, hey,
(01:30:18):
I help you're coming to karaoke tonight. I want to
sing boots, scoot and boogie. We need to raise the
energy here. And I wrote back, I'm headed over in
two minutes. They live about eight minutes away. Now the
text comes in, it's been over two minutes. What's up.
So later on she wrote me, oh, I get it. Now,
you were leaving in two minutes, and then you live
(01:30:38):
eight miles away, which meant you'd be here in ten minutes.
I throw your text meant you'd be here in two minutes.
I'm sorry about that. I enjoy your trip. Also, thanks
for singing with me. She's a sweetheart. Yeah, but see
you gotta come.
Speaker 4 (01:30:50):
You know, I know I really want to because you
and I could really do a good duet.
Speaker 5 (01:30:55):
You can just stump on your own too.
Speaker 4 (01:30:56):
You don't need me, No, I don't want do anything
about myself.
Speaker 5 (01:30:58):
All right.
Speaker 2 (01:31:00):
It's a pretty captive audience, a memory kre of.
Speaker 4 (01:31:02):
Karaoke, you know, okay, one, O, four, three, my f M.
It's Valentine in the morning. Thank you so much for
listening to us. It's been really fun. Today's been a
fun show. We appreciate you sticking sticking through it with

Speaker 3 (01:31:19):
It sounds like it was painful to get Thanks for
sticking through.
Speaker 5 (01:31:22):
Surgery was kind of rough. Thanks for coming back. I
know you could have crossed over, but thanks for coming back.
Speaker 2 (01:31:29):
Man says before on the air, she goes, I hope
we have jobs when we come back.
Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
Well, I way to go.
Speaker 3 (01:31:35):
I actually had a serious meeting with John Peak later.
Not not a joke about what about the too much singing? No, Brian, really,
he's really he is mad, like not even like ha
ha you guys like he's he's big man, big mad.
Speaker 10 (01:31:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:31:50):
All right, everybody needs to reach out to John Peak
right now and tell him how much you love us,
and not to fire us.
Speaker 3 (01:31:56):
Please.
Speaker 4 (01:31:57):
I said that as a joke.
Speaker 5 (01:32:00):
Yeah, you justin me. By the way, if he is,
if he is firing us, you know over the whole
singing thing that happened earlier, other shows in karaoke all
the time, I can point them out, but I will
say this, you know, be true.
Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
Or maybe on the road again.
Speaker 5 (01:32:19):
I can't wait to get on the road again or
take this job.
Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
Sm entertainment headline.
Speaker 5 (01:32:28):
Oh my god, there's so much trouble story keep road. Yeah, yeah,
you have vacation. You had vacation last week, So there

Speaker 13 (01:34:02):
This is it, guys, it's gonna get emotional.
Speaker 3 (01:34:04):
Stick with me.
Speaker 13 (01:34:04):
Here in Inglewood on the four or five southbound on
ramp from Century Boulevard that is now closed, we have
a two car crash with one overturned. Still no updates
on what the delay is going to look like there.
That is afresh. In Carson, the road construction on the
one ten at northbound at the four h five has
the right lane close with an eight minute delay. There's
(01:34:25):
stop and go traffic from Supulvitor and this will continue
to one pm. And lastly, in Long Beach, that accident
on the seven one zero northbound as the Pacific Goes
Highway still has traffic stopped from Peco Avenue, so we're
looking at a seven temple a second. You know, if
we're just spelling out seven to one zero seven, you
know that's a nineteen minute delay there. So I just
(01:34:46):
want to thank everyone. As your temporary driving reporter, this
has been amazing and I've loved every minute, covering from
Los Angeles to New Jersey.
Speaker 3 (01:34:54):
Thank you.
Speaker 13 (01:34:55):
I'm Laura Glazer. Beat the Heat without Breaking the Bay
