Speaker 1 (00:00):
Had my childhood absolutely destroyed with new information.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Ross. Did you see who passed away over the weekend.
I'll give you a hint.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
PBS dude from PBS, No, I haven't seen it. No handyman,
Joe handyman Joe Nagri from mister Rogers neighborhood, dead at
the age of ninety nine. And I am finding out
this morning not a handyman. Didn't know how to drive
a nail, never handy manned in his life, knew nothing.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Actually, jazz teacher at Pitt College.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
What is even going on here?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Right? I'm is there made up people on the show.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Mister mcpheeley was a postman though.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Right, that's fruit we have, That's that's gospel's I saw
him in the outfit, did you okay?
Speaker 2 (00:56):
All right? If there's photos, then we know it was true. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Apparently even told mister Rogers, hey, this is insane. I'm
not I don't even know how to drive a nail.
How can I be a handyman? And mister Rogers reportedly
told him and I quote, hold on.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I want to, I want to. I want to make
sure I'm getting this accurate. Do do do?
Speaker 5 (01:21):
Do?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Do?
Speaker 6 (01:21):
Do?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
He said, don't worry, it's pretend. Dudes in on it.
Don't worry, it's pretend, he says.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
The handyman doesn't just fix things, he also fixes problems.
You know, I noticed he was doing a lot of that,
not a lot of handyman. Did you notice that as well?
He was never he never really was working on anything,
just lazily like, hey, you want to hear me play
the guitar a little bit, always up in everybody's business.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I mean, he.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Would, I mean, and there'd be like a cursory where
all he's got to wrench in his hand, he must
be up to something. But he wasn't up to anything.
Only he was wrenching on his that guitar, make sure
it was tuned in. Meanwhile, you know, I was probably
pitching floods going on. People's electricity is not working, and
he's up there jacking around up at mister Rogers place,
(02:21):
asking about you know, oh, give me the details of
what ails you don't worry, I'll fix it. And the
whole time mister Rogers knows exactly what's up. Telling n
E n q U D, which is a one of
the local public stations there in Pittsburgh, he said, I
gotta call hey, Joe, Hey, Joe, would you like to
(02:46):
come on my new show and be the handyman?
Speaker 2 (02:47):
And he said, Fred, you're kidding. I'm not a handyman.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I don't even know how to nail a nail straight,
to which Rogers respoted, don't worry, my friend, It's just
gonna be pretend. And then we pretended for thirty five years. Man,
what other parts of my childhood were fabricated? In twenty nineteen,
(03:11):
he retired from teaching and was honored with a Lifetime
Achievement in the Arts of Word from the State of
Pennsylvania for his dedication to the lie excuse me to
the community, having never handy man a minute in his life.
I don't know what to tell you. Was King Friday
(03:36):
a King Ross? Do we know that was King Friday?
Even a King? I only he was, which means Queen Saturday?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
And it was a puppet? What?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
What about the Prince Prince Tuesday?
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Also a puppet?
Speaker 2 (03:54):
What? Come on, man? What about that up?
Speaker 7 (04:01):
Andy?
Speaker 2 (04:02):
What was your name? Lady Fairchild? Right?
Speaker 8 (04:05):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Oh yeah with the cheeks? Yeah, let me check a puppe?
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Gosh, what about the capitalism? Dude? Who was the corn
flake right made the rocking chairs? I swear my.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Think my mom had one of those rocking chairs. Yeah,
corny or whatever, corn flake corny persully? Was that not
a rod capitalist endeavor? The show real And don't get
me started on Daniel. A lot of people, a lot
of people don't know Daniel.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Who Dan? You know who Daniel grew up to be.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
He had to change his name because you know, you
got type cast into that, into that role.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
That's Tony man. It started howking cereal.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Things got tough and he's like, I'm gonna have to
transition here as they do in entertainment, So we don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, look at that, all.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Of all of my childhood is absolutely crushed by this man.
What an impact that show had. Now, you said you're
a big fan of Blue is Bluey like mister Rogers
level good for kids.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
It's a different tone in different delivery. But I think so.
But I don't know if you can never taught mister
Rogers despite all the lies that you've exposed today.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Yeah, did everybody know?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Everybody must have known, and we're just the last one's
finding out here. So sad, so sad, all right? Six
twelve here on the CaCO Day radio program. Yeah, man,
that show was what three generations of kids, so to
you know, they cut thirty five year swath on there.
(05:54):
That's that's pretty good man. All Right, we got so
much going on this one just so everyone was insane.
You all just couldn't have a normal weekend. Everybody else
had a roster. You have a normal weekend, just did
normal things, normal weekend things. Everyone else out of their
damn mind. Finally, apparently there I didn't know this, but
(06:16):
apparently looks like that grand plantin or dude up in
Maine might might be an awful person.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Who knew, but that's what we're finding out.
Speaker 9 (06:30):
All right.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
You're telling me the guy with the Nazi death camp tattoo.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Ah be a bad accidental one.
Speaker 8 (06:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Yeah, that's the same dude they think might might be
an a hole. I don't know whether to feel bad
for his wife or what the hell is going on? Meanwhile,
that of Florida, Florida. Man, it's like I got this.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
We're good here that here.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
You guys want a chimney changa, I got one for you,
So luckily we'll have that insanity. Don't know what's going
on with baseball, but I do know what's going on
with hockey. That's Stanley Cup Finals. Man puck drops tomorrow
and everybody's shocked to learn that when it comes to
the finals, the tickets for.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
It are really expensive.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
And then the secondary ticket market is ticket market is
really really expensive. As the Canes get ready to host
Games one and two of the Stanley Cup Tuesday and Thursday,
so that's exciting. Plus for the Games three and four,
which will be in Vegas, which I'm sure will be
insane for ticket prices there too. There's something they're gonna
(07:41):
have big watch parties at the Lenovo Center, so if
you want to get in on that, we'll.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Have the details for you as well.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
But it is a very eye opening Monday around these parts,
with lots of audio to get to and so much more.
Eight eight eight nine three four seven eight seven four
back in just a few and we didn't have to
do it last Monday, so that was nice. But this money,
they're like, oh, you gotta do five days this week,
so we'll chew on that. Maybe in a couple of
weeks we'll do another four day week because I noticed
(08:09):
that's a company holiday.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Super excited about that.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
All right, So over the weekend, Joe Biden's having to
I don't know, groom her potential legacy, realizing she's probably
probably an outliver husband and eventually wants to wants to
pretend like she was I And by the way, the
more I see this crap, the more I'm convinced that
(08:32):
she was the driving force behind the absolute elder abuse
that we witnessed. And I think she knows that people
know that, and so they're like, all right, we got
to figure something else out because just really her revisionist
history over that debate is so bad that like past
(08:57):
staffers who frankly also are having to work on that's
the problem.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
You have a bunch of.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Horrible people that all saw what was happening, and they
don't want to be the last one on musical.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Chairs not figuring out where that chair is.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
If they all got exposed, ironically exposed by people who
themselves should have did know what was going on, didn't
say anything, and then chose to write a book about it,
it's all horrible people acting horribly. Problem was they just
got caught, and so everyone's got to pretend like the
now that was the other person. Man, I was concerned.
(09:33):
I thought he was having a stroke there on the stage.
In fact, I thought he had a stroke so much.
We went to waffle house after, which is where you
take stroke victims. I mean to be fair, Rozier, ever
been in a waffle house and thought you were surrounded
by stroke victims?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
I have. I didn't know it was an official thing.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
We're supposed to take your stroked out relative there to
a waffle house, because that's what they did after the debate.
I don't know if you guys know this to a
waffle house, Like, yeah, you know, it would be really
good for somebody who may have cognitively just had a
break and is not here anymore to take them to
a waffle house, because they don't need to have their
head on a swivel there. But that's what they did
(10:15):
so that years later she could pretend like nothing was wrong.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
It was fine, he was fine.
Speaker 10 (10:22):
It was inexplicable.
Speaker 11 (10:24):
But what if that had happened during a meeting with
foreign leaders or something like that.
Speaker 10 (10:28):
Yeah, I don't know how to answer that.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Really, Yeah, there Weson never saw nothing. There, no signs
any man out of the blue.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Just what Yeah, inexplicable inexplicable.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Remember when he was at Normandy with all the leaders
and just like wandered off.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Into the yeah, into the hedgerows, and then like what
was a maloney had to go get him. The little
Italian PM who rescued it was her, right, She's like, ah,
you should wander over there. I want to get by
those pill boxes.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Man, I go, well for you. He pooped his pants
and front of the Pope.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
And next standing next to Jill, I got a question,
have you ever had your kid crap his pants?
Speaker 8 (11:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:09):
What is that?
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:11):
In front of the pope?
Speaker 6 (11:12):
Right?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Did in front of the pope?
Speaker 8 (11:14):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Man? Okay, yeah, he.
Speaker 12 (11:19):
Pooped in front of He pooped his pants in front
of the Pope while you stood there, lady, were.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
You horrified as you saw it unfold? Yeah?
Speaker 10 (11:27):
I wasn't horrified. I was frightened because I had never
ever seen Joe like that.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
You took him to a waffle house dealing with everything
we have to do.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
With Does that sound like somebody who cognitively could handle
ordering slathered, smothered and covered or whatever his current take is.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
We got waffle house this weekend, right, I got a bacon,
egg and cheese on toast. Yes, some hash browns, Mark
you get trip triple hash brown to plaining cheeseburger in
like two waffles, Yes, over fifty bucks?
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Was it?
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:05):
You know my favorite thing at waffle house? Dude, you
know what it is?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
The Yeah, it's Joseph Joe's Joe Biden's favorite too.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
How did you like your hash breuncer? I've yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Oh that's the best way to give them everything. Yeah.
Can you imagine.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Somebody not ordering their hash browns that way? That's the
only way to get your hash browns.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
If we finally beat medicare.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Thank your President Biden.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Before, By the way, I'm so glad we beat medicare.
I remember being very inspired by that portion of the debate.
Speaker 10 (12:44):
Or since never since yes or has never seen never No,
Well happened. I don't know what happened. I mean when
I as I watched it, I thought, oh my god,
he's having a stroke and it scared me to death.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
And then she went, you know what I need? I
need some waffles. That's great. Ross. You know how both
Biden and I like our eggs.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
How do you lock your eggs there yet?
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (13:10):
Man?
Speaker 7 (13:11):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Yeah, and you better get them right man, that is
the only way to have eggs.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Then you can dip the toast in there. It's absolutely amazing.
What are we doing? And then they really didn't press
her that hard because the normal thing is to stand
up and you do the thing where you're really concerned
and you take your hands and then you lightly put
them on top of like her wrists. You're leaning in
so you're making.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Deep eye contact and you're like, you took them to
waffle house.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Right after this so he could get the and order
his eggs all.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
And you smiled for photos and then you really didn't
eat your food because you don't need peasant food like that.
Those are all things that happened, and the reporter knows
those were all things that happened.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I was just like, Wow, was this scary for you?
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Were horrified.
Speaker 10 (14:08):
Fold I wasn't horrified. I was frightened.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
She was in a watch room screaming at people. Promise you.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
The whole thing is incredible because leading up to that moment,
we had everyone, how many people we did, constantly on
the right going, hey, this dude has dementia, this dude
his spaghetti brains. There is the reason this dude's hanging
out in his basement and there's a reason. And it
was like.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Complete ignorance or just not seeing it or refusing to
see it. And then the debate happened, and you had
all these people on the left go, oh, what the
where did this come from? There was no we had
no idea.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
And it wasn't just a debate.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
They promised for the week leading up to it that
Joe Biden was gonna beat Trump so bad, you know, Oh,
they couldn't fath it was. It was gonna be an
absolute butt kicking. No more of these attack ads from
a thousand feet away. Right now he's on the stage,
he can't escape, and Biden's got him up there. He's
dreaming of you know, hash browns and pancakes after this
(15:05):
thing in waffles or whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Right he's he's folks, he's laser focused.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
He's going to destroy you. And now you guys got
a debate whether you think he had a stroke or not.
And even staffers are like, no, this is dumb. I
think they screwed up something on your order and charged
you twice for something because if you.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Didn't have drinks.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
So Ross is telling me he's regaling me with the
order that he got, which is basically got like two
and a half breakfast, and somehow it was fifty dollars.
And I don't know if they I'm sure they I'm
sure they charge a packaging fee for to go. A
lot of places do now and all they've always been
very weird about it. But I just I'm trying to
(15:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Yeah, no, it was.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
It was two plain waffles, a bacon, egg and cheese,
you know, on toast, triple hash brown plane order Hash Browns,
triple order play plain hash Browns. Yes, for Lincoln, he
likes some plane grilled cheese marking at the triple and
like hash Browns and a plane cheeseburger, like fifty bucks.
(16:11):
Now that has to be like a two hundred three
percent profit. It's like four slices of right with my
sandwich is like four slices of bread, Yeah, exactly, like okay, and.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
The hash Browns arets too. Oh yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
And like I said, do you think if you had drinks,
I'd be like, all right, because that's how they gets you.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
But you didn't even have drinks.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Very frustrating, even with the ages you're charges who weren't
approaching those numbers.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
It's just how it is. Man.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Everything's crazy. Everything's crazy. Everybody's crazy. So Joe Biden didn't
do it. And now they're concerned that grand plant there
may not be a good dude just because I don't know,
he may be out there hooking up with like eight
different women in front of his wife's face, and then
they make her come out and like press the story
(17:07):
and then she comes out.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
It's just it's dude, it was all so gross. Also gross.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Here is from Meet the Press over the weekend where
they're trying to dissect this. So it's not the Nazi tattoo,
it's not the wishing death of the purple heart, dude,
it's not the don't the general awfulness. No, the line
in the sand, apparently for Democrats, is that Graham Platner
baby out here, get over a hookup profile cause you know, whatever,
(17:39):
which it would, it would.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
It wouldn't just be that because you could honestly come
out as the Democrats be like, you know, what they
do is their own business. But the problem is there's
such deep hypocrites at this point, and people are realizing
basically everything else they.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Got basically get away with.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
This guy's going to be under myscope because they could
have done something and they really just.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Chose not to.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Up to this point, why is my button barn out working?
Hold on here, let's try it again.
Speaker 11 (18:09):
Does Graham platt Or pose a headache for Democrats? Well,
let me go back to Texas for just a moment.
Cornyan was a beloved candidate, beloved by Republicans in Washington
and in Texas. I'm not sure that candidate flaws matter
as much as they used to. Millions of dollars were
(18:31):
spent to save Cornyn didn't work packs and one by
a landslide. But the bottom line is Platner he's a
combat veteran, has served in multiple tours of duty, an
oorster farmer, and I believe that sends a message to
voters that he understands the working class had to go
to work every day. I think people are so worried
(18:52):
about the future right now, they're going to look at
do I feel like this candidate is going to fight
for me and what I care about. If Maine believes
that through all of the controversy, as we just saw it,
back to the Platiner will win.
Speaker 13 (19:06):
This is where this is where people I think are
normal people watching this at home are so frustrated with
the level of toxic partisanship where you've got somebody who's,
you know, he has to defend. You've got Democrats who
are defending Graham Plattner, who are calling him a good
and decent man and arguing that the guy with the
Nazi tattoo, we really need him because he has to
to beat Susan Collins, one of the most bipartisan members
(19:29):
of Congress in the past couple decades, who.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Voted to convict Donald Trump.
Speaker 14 (19:33):
But it's so important. We have to have Graham Plattner.
Speaker 13 (19:37):
We have to have somebody who savaged military veterans, said
that a military veteran who was being shot at deserved
to die, who's blamed rape victims for their own assaults.
And you've now got a Democratic Party rallying around somebody
like that.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Yeah, and going back to the guy's point, all of that,
all of this, you're willing to contort yourself like this
is this is all unnecessary. You're willing to contort yourself
in in a race to defeat the arguably the worst
Republican since Tom Tillis is retiring probably the worst Republican
(20:13):
in the Senate from a from a GOP void voter standpoint,
and you're willing, you're willing to sell your soul to
unsea a Susan Collins. That's what's insane. You're cashing it.
You're cashing in all the chips for that because she
(20:35):
absolutely has to go.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Give me a break.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
It's it's all so deeply political because here's the thing,
and you're like, oh man, you do political stuff here. Yeah,
but at least I'm honest about it. That's why we
that's why we're more than happy to trash people all
across the political spectrum that they're being disingenuous. This is
all just so dis genuous, honest, Honestly, I was so
(21:02):
down in the dumps over politics till I saw that
dude shot in the sports car. Then that revitalized my
whole weekend. Oh if you didn't see.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
That, we had a little pro we had some protested updates.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
I like how people in the comments, like I think
the police aim for when they shoot the protesters with
the less than lethal they're they're trying to shoot him
in the junk. I don't know if that's always true,
but I think sometimes it's gotta be. Remember the dude
when they were protesting. This is one of the early
Trump protests. I think it was down at Phoenix or something,
and the guys like they they you know, they shot
(21:37):
the little gas canister over and it's a dispersal thing, right,
And what does the guy do. He comes out, he's all,
he's all geared up, he's got the you know's got
the helmet on, got the little chest pads where he
looks like he's in the military, but it's it's you know,
it's stuff that you bought off Amazon.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
He's so brave and he's so studying.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
He walks over, he kicks one of those canisters right
in the line of police officers. And even though he's
all he's all kidded up, he looks like he's a
swat dude. He clearly isn't wearing a cup, which eight
year old me knew that.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
You wore that to baseball practice.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
And he gets tinged with one of those uh those
forty mic mics right right in the right in the business.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
And it just goes down.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
I think every every ounce of my being I thought,
I think the cops did aim for his midsection there
not gonna lie, But I don't know if that's always
the case. I just know it was the case for
one of the protesters there in New Jersey when they
went to disperse that I think eleven of them got
arrested as they tried to take over this, uh, this
immigration detainment center.
Speaker 8 (22:40):
He literally shot through my Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Jesus, okay, well, they clearly didn't shoot through it, sir.
You'd be way too cup you ross. Can you imagine
give it an interview? They just shot a hole through
your junk with with one of.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
These I don't believe him, believe it or not, you.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Give me a little or wound up. You'd be like,
what happens, sir? Can you tell us more?
Speaker 2 (23:03):
You're like, yeah, so, uh.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Getting so much use out of this. That's how I
would be giving the interview. If they just pierced it.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Okay, that's me giving the interview. Tell us what happens, sir.
So no, No, they didn't shoot through it.
Speaker 8 (23:24):
Bro literally shots my fuck.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
Look Jesus Christ.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
By the way, that is the proper response if somebody
drops trou and shows you a gas casher te hole.
It shot through their junk. That's the most human response ever,
So maybe they did. Yeah, You're like, hey, look at this.
Speaker 8 (23:48):
It literally shots threw my fucking Jesus Chris.
Speaker 12 (23:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all of it's so left up.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Like you said, nobody could just be more normal this weekend.
Everybody had to be out of their mind insane, all right.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Hold on.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
I spent one hundred dollars to take five of us
went to the waffle house. Last time, it was one
hundred dollars. I guess maybe maybe the waffle house is
getting expensive. I eat there frequently enough, just infrequently enough
that I don't know, you know, because some places eat
there a lot, and you just kind of know the
(24:34):
prices in your head, so I don't know what they're
supposed to be.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
But uh, yeah, I believe you.
Speaker 11 (24:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
I think if I was sitting there at waffle House
it was my turn to pay, and they brought me
a check for one hundred dollars and we were able
to actually sit in a booth, I think that'd be
my reaction too, same reaction as if a gas caster. Besides,
hole just got shot my you know. By the way,
the video is super entertaining, so if you want to
(25:07):
check that out, it'll be a Casey on the radio
eight forty five, Hang on people. They saw people emerging
from the form manholes. Another video surfaces of weirdos climbing
out of the New York City sew sewer manhole.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
And no one knows what they're doing. Ah, can you
believe it?
Speaker 1 (25:24):
And then you'll see some dude like pushing a manhole open,
which by the way, happens in the movies a lot,
and they're like, whatever could they be doing down there?
They runnings their secret condos, they're stealing copper for crack.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Probably is this is not that confusing? What do you
think is more likely?
Speaker 1 (25:41):
They're down there stealing copper for crack or bath or
whatever their drug of choice is. Or they're four teenagers
trained in martial arts working for a giant talking brat.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
I was gonna say it might be Casey Jones, Right.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Those are your two options. Those are the only two
options you can think of. Then maybe they're hobo is
down there, having hobo sex, stealing copper.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
I don't know. Maybe there's plasma down there and music
makes it dance. And the more you're angry, the more comes.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Too, who knows, but probably crazy people for crack money.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
No, I'm just thinking about like having sex and the sewers,
And the first thing that came to mind was Platiner.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
Yeah, he would, wouldn't he with a bunch of a
bunch of Thai.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Horrors or whatever he was talking about. Now they'd be
okay with that. But now that's normal with those kick accounts.
Didn't see that coming. One creepy video shows a whole
cadre of men exiting from the manhole with the intersection
of Bedford Avenue and Lynch Street in Williamsburg. Are they
(26:56):
or the young urban explorers? I don't know, Maybe they're terrorists.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
What do I know? Clearly we're not.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Able to really delineate who's a terrorist and who's not. Dude,
what you don't understand is manholes are so freaking heavy,
not when you're on all the fentanyl.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
They're all the myth.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
So I don't know why they were down there pretending
like it's some giant mystery that has national security implications.
I'm sorry, I just don't see it. The one dude's
wearing a headlamp. They're clearly down there, clearly down there
for probably reasons they shouldn't be.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Probably probably live.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Streaming it a bunch of weirdos. Sure, I don't want
to crawl around in a sewer in New York City?
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Who does?
Speaker 1 (27:52):
But when you're Jones and you do what you gotta do,
man with flashlights and shovels continue to pour out of
the bowels of Brooklyn.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Appropriate way to put it.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
One with nailbodying moment with one nail boding moment shows
a man narrowly being run over by a car while
emerging from the sewer.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Yeah, ross, what do you do?
Speaker 1 (28:13):
You ever wonder if people are gonna pop out of
the man holes you're trying to dodge on Atlantic?
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Wouldn't that be far more terrifying? Those got you took
your life in your own hands there. I think you
gotta look to.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Uh after seven men came out of the manhole. Yeah,
they're doing some stuff down there they probably shouldn't be doing.
You could see him replace the cover, jump on it
to put it back in place, and then leave with
another man.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Wait, didn't we just have it?
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Didn't we just have an incident where Jews were popping
out of the ground in New York There or my
misremembering who was.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Wasn't that what I was gonna ask if anybody's tied
that in yet. Yeah, we had a story a few
years ago, but they were calling it like the sea
tunnels and they went down there and they were like
palling mattresses out and stuff. Yeah, and I was wondering
how long it was gonna take for someone to be like, ah,
that's connected.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Yeah, I remember what the total thing was there.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
I mean it was like they just had some like
weird entry into like a Jewish day school or something.
I can't remember what it was. It was all creepy,
but it wasn't like weird things you should make a
movie out of.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
But I just remember they were.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Like popping out of the ground and people were like,
why are these dudes with like Dradle's coming out? What
the hell's going on? And then they figured out what
it was. It wasn't It wasn't all that exciting. But
I don't think these two are connected. But you can
see the dudes getting dropped off, like seven of them
getting dropped off out of the same car before they
(29:43):
go into the tunnels.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Oh you know what, Actually I know what it was.
I know exactly what it was.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
How silly of me not to understand exactly what's going
on here. All right, I just want to make sure
I'm good on the the old clocky clock there. All right,
we got enough time here Ross. Clearly they found the
entrance to Hell as above so below. Did you ever
see that movie? That's a pretty good movie where they
(30:10):
go to the catacombs of France and they find the
entrance to Hell and everything's backwards, which, by the way,
you don't want to be.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
There, believe it or not.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
When you crawled through there, even though there signing is like, yeah,
maybe you should as above so below, it should be
your first indicator you're calling into the entrance of Hell.
Everybody's in a really bad mood down there, so you've
been warned.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Yes, se Don was up.
Speaker 15 (30:37):
Hey, brother, hold on, and I'm going through the guard stack.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Okay, okay, freak sir, Hey Dacy, I was topping.
Speaker 15 (30:47):
I was listening to you guys coming into work this
morning here bragging. I just I just traveled from California.
I had to go out there at the NCC to.
Speaker 7 (30:55):
Support the unit. And first off, Gus was seven seven forty.
Speaker 15 (31:00):
Nine a gallon.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Perfect. Yeah, that's Kelly.
Speaker 15 (31:03):
Man ridiculous, you know. And then you guys were talking
about restaurants. Every restaurant that I had to eat at
at PDY it was forty five fifty five sixty five
dollars and the hotel out there charged me.
Speaker 7 (31:17):
Five bucks for a cup of coffee.
Speaker 15 (31:19):
Bitch, should have been free.
Speaker 8 (31:21):
Dude when you walk in, you know.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they got ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Well that's probably because in addition to you being taxed
to death, they're tax to death as well. You know,
they you pay more fift of gas and taxes and
you pay for the fuel in California.
Speaker 7 (31:37):
Yeah, but how many these people they're just in it,
in it because they think they got gold. Well, yeah,
they're ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Is it is it?
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Is it that much more expensive to eat on base
for you too? Or do you guys get a little
bit of a break?
Speaker 7 (31:51):
Well they had a little bit of a break. But
you know what I mean. When you're traveling from the
airport to the to the base, you know, you don't
have that much that much choice. You know what, you
can go to the commissary, you can get you can
get some groceries and save some money.
Speaker 14 (32:05):
That way.
Speaker 7 (32:07):
The groceries in the grocery store were cheaper.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
You know you, sir, you have access to a tank.
Food should be free.
Speaker 16 (32:16):
So I.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Don't even know how we just got to that last
conversation off the air, but we were just having a
lot of fun here.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Oh that's right.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
We're making fun of the protester who claims that police shot.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
A hole right in his uh, right in his man.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Parts, his his pre opt genitals or whatever the term
is I had to use last week on this stupid
news story.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
We're laughing at this too.
Speaker 8 (32:43):
They really shot through.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
Jesus.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
By the way, that's gonna be.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
That's gonna be my response to any dude randomly going, look,
they put a hole in my junk and then trying
to show it to me.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Good lord man, what are you doing? What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (33:08):
But that's how you win an argument, By the way,
somebody won an argument doing Ross's thing he's always wanted
to do.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
I don't know if you can do it now.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
It's kind of like they stole your thunder up In Pennsylvania,
man facing charges after he left he allegedly attempted to
demolish his home well his family was inside with an excavator.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Yeah, you're not supposed to bulldoze your own house.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
Okay, well you didn't specify. I know You're gonna go
for your buddy Michael's house. But yeah, so he got
an argument with his wife, Yes he did. He's like,
I'm gonna win this.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, I'll show you. And he took like a bulldozer
to like the back of his house, and I saw
it from the from above. They had like a helicopter
shot and like, well, now you know engineers or whatever
saying like the house is no longer going to be
like structurally sound.
Speaker 7 (33:55):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
I mean it was a load bearing series of walls.
Speaker 8 (33:57):
You know.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
That's I don't think they're gonna lay the.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Relationship.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
I don't know, man, I mean, what if it does.
But she brings it up every time they get into
an argument.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
She will.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
I also, here's the thing. You don't sneak up on
somebody with an excavator. Do you know what I'm saying?
There's no At no point was she sitting in that
house surprised you hear that coming?
Speaker 3 (34:28):
How does it get to that point though? I mean,
and what were they arguing about?
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Does it say he probably wanted to build a man cave.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
And she's like, now it's not in the budget, and
he's like, well, what if there's not a wall there?
I'm assuming this is how you got the bonus room
on your house, right you know, No, we went a
different route. Okay, so she bulldozed part of your house
and then you're like, we have to build it or no?
Would you guys talk about it like adults could have
(34:58):
had it easier? Please say Eric his possum. Uh it's
one of those it's one of those Polish names where
they ran out of vowels or something. So that guy,
uh his r tells police they were in the process
of separating.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Okay, now hold on, hold on.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
In the course of the fight, uh pi Wisa apparently
told his wife, if it's over, then I'm tearing the
house down, and she probably made some snippy comment.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
So they were gonna be divorcing and he didn't want
her to have the house.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
I mean, that's a theory. That's a theory. But he
basically telegraphed his move. I think he told her she
was she she told her she was he was gonna
do it, and she's stubbornly is like, you won't do it,
but he did at which point And here's the other
(35:56):
thing too, at which point mid argument, the man allegedly
then walked outside and climbed into his excavator. That's not
a flex most people have ross. How many random excavators
do you have parked in your yard right now at
the moment?
Speaker 3 (36:12):
None? They were stolen?
Speaker 1 (36:13):
Oh like, what same person who stole your lawnmower stole
your excavator.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
I've noticeding a pattern here.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
His allegedly then climbed into the excavator and began demolishing
his home.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Now hold on.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
The wife acted like it was a surprise earlier in
the story. You hear it, you hear it.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
Start up.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
They're really loud. You're gonna hear the tracks moving. There's
gonna be a lot of squeaking and whatnot. Like, there's
a lot of If you if you're in a house
that gets gets run over by a by an excavator
and you didn't get out, I feel like you kind
of now are okay with it.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Here's the other thing.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
The family said that they were able to get out
only after Pa drove away, but then returned hours later.
All right, where was he for hours?
Speaker 2 (37:06):
With an excavator. Did he run to the store?
Speaker 17 (37:11):
Ye?
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Tired?
Speaker 3 (37:12):
You know it's a bow Times boat tie man.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
I'll probably still serve your bowj Angles, but they're gonna
have some questions.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Can you go through the drive through in the excavator?
I mean I feel like the window wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Set up right technically, you probably could go that way
if he wanted.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Yes, yeah, I mean they're gonna be like a holes
about it. Ah, man, I didn't hear that guy I pulled.
I remember I pulled up to a drive through at
McDonald's if I know exactly. It was the one in
a high point at the McDonald's that's by where the
busted old mall is, right where it's just like a
senior center and then a place for people to bring
(37:51):
their stupid Dodge Hemys cars and scat packs in there
to do endless uh you know, loop del with their
cars laying down all the rubber on their tires in
the middle of the night. Because I've stayed in that
maryaut right there, then please don't do anything anyway. Where
was I Oh yeah, but they're not in excavators. But
(38:14):
I was going through that drive through there, and there
happened to be a song on the radio, and part
of it was in Spanish, and so it can hear you.
And they have one of those fake where it's somebody
a thousand miles away in a call center taking your order.
And then the woman started barking at me in Spanish
because they were listening to the music I was listening to, Like,
they're gonna.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Hear excavator noise there and they're gonna have questions.
Speaker 9 (38:38):
Now.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
I remember my friend thought it was funny and he
drove a small tractor through a drive through at Hearty's.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
That'd be fair.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
The tractor was plated and had turn signals, so he
was legal. But he just thought it'd be funny to
drive a small Kbota tractor through there. And they served him.
But that said eye line, if you're in an excav
you're we gon have a really hard time hand into
your stuff.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
All right, seven thirteen here on the KCO Day radio program.
So we got we got the hockey final going on.
Some guy got mad at me for calling it finals earlier.
I'll call it whenever I want, Sir, why are you
pronouncing the guy's Polish name the same way?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Biden owns waffle house. Clearly, I'm nut, sir. Those are
two different things. Why why can you not tell a
Polish name from Joe Biden waffle house order? I think
that's on you, sir. So yeah, we're all sports up.
We got Stanley Cupp.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
We've the the Canes eliminated not one, but two Canadian
teams to get there, thus dashing their hopes of getting
a Stanley Cup, their first since when Bill Clinton was
in office. So that's deeply satisfying. Ross was getting really
pumped up for the World Cup.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
You got who who? Who you got in the World Cup?
Who you're the World Cup?
Speaker 8 (39:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (40:00):
At Lee Trevino.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
And now I'm gonna mix it up this time and
go uh r Rory McElroy Really yeah, Okay, that's your guy.
I am walking encyclopedia of Rory McElroy knowledge Beau. Yeah,
he's my favorite.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
What are your fan? Where he's from?
Speaker 16 (40:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (40:19):
Like that?
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Where is that Rhode Island?
Speaker 2 (40:24):
I don't know about that. Now he's from the He's
from the Weaker Ireland. That's where he's from.
Speaker 8 (40:32):
Now.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
Here's the thing about the World Cup, Like, I want
us to win, but I have no interest.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
No, that's no, no, no, it's the same as the
when we did the cricket thing, right, yeah, exactly, Yes,
we beat the crap out of practice stands.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
But I don't plan yeah, I don't plan on watching
a second of it. But I would prefer we win.
But if we don't, that's fine too.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Okay, all right, Rory McElroy it is.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
We'll see, we'll see how that goes, all right, seven
fifteen here in the Casey O Radio program, go back
to the excavator guy. What if they did make up?
And here's why I point this out. How many times
have you been watching one of those cop shows right
where they get a call and they're like, all right,
we got a disturbance at eight forty Green Street, and
(41:15):
the officer knows whose house it is, right, he knows
he's gonna show up, and there's gonna be some redneck
and a wife beater, some woman with basically everything hanging
out screaming at each other. But he also knows that
even though that they're gonna have like a twenty fo
hour cooling down period, one of them's gonna leave, that
they're just gonna be back here next week because they
love each other. I feel like this is fixable. I
(41:42):
feel like they can get past this. And I also
kind of wish I had an excavator. If they're ready
to sitting at the yard, should I need to go
ahead and win an argument? All told, mister Pizuba will
face numerous charges, inclusion causing a catastrophe. Did you know
that it's an actual charge in Pennsylvania you can catch
causing a catastrophe?
Speaker 2 (42:04):
That seems like a catch all.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
Police also say his wife filed for a protection order.
I bet she won that motion as well. And the
man who is now doing court next month.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
So it happened. We are shocked, all right, seven sixteen.
We'll get some of your phone calls top of the
morning to you.
Speaker 9 (42:24):
Kase. I wanted to bring to your attention something that
maybe some listeners weren't even alive for. But uh, sometime
in the nineties, there was a man, a California man.
But when you hear this, this is a very much
a Florida man type thing. He was a former tank
commander or tank driver. As I recall, I'm driving to work,
(42:47):
so it's all of miring.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
See in California, he Sandy.
Speaker 9 (42:53):
Yeah, he stole it. Stole tank and he just went
just went went to town and he drove over cars. Yeah,
I not only went to towns, he crushed the town.
He ran over the street lights, like traffic lights and
you name it. And he was just you know, having
a bad day, I.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Guess, but having his best day actually, because well he
was having his best day.
Speaker 9 (43:16):
You know, you can just do things as it turns out.
But unfortunately the cops they shot him for it. God
forbid a man have hobbies.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Well, remember, the only the only reason that all stopped
is because he high centered the thing on a divider, right, correct.
How hard that is to do when you're just crushing
everything in your tail. Yeah, he stole it from a
National Guard armory.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
I would say.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
There's been hot there's been top two. There's been two
top tank moments.
Speaker 9 (43:45):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
In my recorded memory. One is the guy you're referring
to and then killed. Those are dude in Colorado.
Speaker 9 (43:52):
Oh, yes, definitely killed. Those are just number one. But
I must say that kill Those are tank guy and
Ruby Ridge and Waco probably. Yeah, there's a lot of
foundational memory of my opinions of government overreach.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Yeah, well, to be fair, they I mean they had
legitimate beef with San Diego dude, because he still look
from the National Guard armory, which you know they're gonna
they're gonna call you out on that thing.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
But yeah, I don't know, man.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
I mean nowadays too, if you're gonna protest, you're gonna
to have to steal a tank because police are shooting
people in the junk with gas canisters or something.
Speaker 9 (44:29):
Yes, well, can you imagine that the damage with the
with the Abrams tank. I mean this was like a
nineteen sixty tank.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
I can't even remember what it was, yeah, or an
old It might.
Speaker 9 (44:39):
Even have been a Sherman tank. I can't remember it.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Yeah, but anyway, Yeah, no, they they shot him for
his trouble sakes, for the call they're brandon which again
this is why I'm like, I'm sitting there and I'm like,
you're in this argument.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
The guy says he's going to come demolish things. And
here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (44:57):
If your spouse threatens to demolish your house as you're
in some like fight super fight with an excavator, here's
what you need to ask yourself whether you take that
seriously or not, And that is, do they have keys
to an excavator parked in the yard right now, because
they don't, I think, then you can question it unless,
(45:18):
like the guy works construction and you know for a
fact maybe he's got access to an excavator at work.
Like if I threatened to demolish your house with an
excavator right now, I don't know that you should even
evacuate the family, even though I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty
sure over the course of the show, Ross, what do
you think do you think over the next hour and
(45:38):
a half of this show, if you and I really
petition we couldn't find somebody on the radio to loneus
access to an excavator because we got a lot of
listeners to do.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
A lot of Y know, I could get one pretty fast.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
I feel like we could.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
Dude, you do you understand that we thought one day,
randomly at a post show meeting that we should get
access to a tank, and we had access to a
tank within like an hour.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
No, it was an idea I threw out in a
meeting and the issue that we got on but they
couldn't transport it over state lines.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Yeah, it would be too expensive, and then there's some
paperwork or something. I don't know, yeah, North Carolina likes
to gum things up, man. But we we had access
to it from up there in Danville, Virginia, right because
the Tank Piuseum up there, Like oh yeah, yeah, we
wanted to do a whole fill of tank promotion with
an actual tank. We're gonna fill the tank with toys
(46:28):
for the kids, and then we would you know, we'd
have you know, the day where we unveiled it and
showed everybody it.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
Right, We're gonna have one lucky kid drive the tank
wherever he wanted. That was not going to be the plan.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
I mean, in fact, I think they were pretty hell
bent on the fact that we had to transport it
on a flatbed and then we couldn't drive it. Yeah,
they had some caveats. Yeah, so we like physically have
it there.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
But then then our boss at the time, Brian the
bad Board up actually looked into the actual strategy of
it all and we found out it was much more
complex than you think to get a tank from Danville
to Raleigh. Like first, you can't just drive it from
point A to point B. So there was that, but
also they didn't want us driving it around and we
had it, but you know, it really defeats the whole
(47:14):
purpose of the promotion at that point, because you wait.
While it is for the kids, it's also for Rosnein
to be able to drive a tank around in certain situations,
like I would take it to the mall, just as
I get so frustrated with the traffic through there.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
That's why I hate going to the mall anyway.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
But now if I got a tank who cares park
wherever I want, I'll roll that up to the weird
vallet they have in front of the Cheesecake factory, just
to watch the face of how excited the valet kid
would get, because you know he's just been parking lexuses
all day. The protesters there in New Jersey to just
(47:52):
general insanity, both political and non. All the while things
keep churning on down in the great state of Florida.
Who brings us our next.
Speaker 6 (48:02):
Story, Florida Men, Florida Man, is something in the wanderty
er or sand that they should do all that crazy crap.
Speaker 4 (48:14):
That's like the state is one to be dumb ass trapped.
Nowhere else has the Florida Man. It is almost like
as the weird factor climbs and you find out it
happened in Florida every time. Florida Man, Florida.
Speaker 6 (48:32):
Man, if anyone can jeer me, if you know you
can do mind life be crazy, but of course, but.
Speaker 4 (48:37):
It's not as pad crap crazy as yours. Nowhere else
are you gonna find him. They're so used to it
they don't mind him. Hooray for Florida Man.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
In this case, it's homeless Florida man. It was arrested
outside of a taco bell, where police say he had
not one, not two, but three pairs of pants pulled
down around his ankles with his quote Jimmy Changa on
full display. Those are the exact words that were used
(49:09):
by one of the employees inside. So it's it's just
after one o'clock, the taco bell is closed, beata how
sometimes we're still employees inside doing cleanup.
Speaker 3 (49:18):
So that's what she had.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
So this guy shows up, tries to walk through the
drive through. That doesn't work. I guess they told him
politely that they were closed, and he's like.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Ah, we'll see if you're still closed, And an employee
says that he then approached the front doors, where he
began pulling down his pants again. He's wearing three different
pairs of pants, so they call the police. They say
the man was outside near the side door of the
(49:49):
business with everything out. When deputies arrived, they identified him
as twenty eight year old Brandom you' asari.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
What happen to people?
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Normal names that I could pronounce? Why doesn't feel like
every story I do is some struggle to figure out
how to say it? Why aren't the Smiths of the
world out doing stuff? When Debtie's arrived, they identified him
standing outside the front door, where they say he was
quote so focused on the task at hand that he
didn't even notice the officers rolling up. Then he noticed
(50:23):
he was surrounded by police. When authority say, he frantically
began pulling his hoodie down to cover his crotch, and
at no point attempted to pull up the multiple pairs
of pants he had around his knees. Then things got weird,
That's the exact line in the story. What do you
mean then things got weird? Is everything normal up to
(50:49):
that point? Because he's now pressed himself against the door
and is vigorously doing something, And only after that transpire
do you include in the story quote? Then things got weird?
So again and he's frantically covered up, attempting to pull
the hoodie down instead of pulling up any of the
(51:10):
pairs of pants. Police were able to then get him
into custody, and again then things got weird. Deputy says.
There as they were arresting Irrazari during the you know,
because now they're going to search him to make sure
he doesn't have anything weirder. Uh, he had he had
something in his backpack. All right, well maybe maybe maybe
(51:35):
this is a good time for us to guess ross
if you had to guess, what is the three times
pantless dude having his backpack?
Speaker 2 (51:43):
Where authorities now say, quote, things got weird.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
Wait any wait, where where's his backpack he's wearing?
Speaker 2 (51:50):
In his backpack?
Speaker 1 (51:50):
He said he found something weird. Remember this is the
point in which they're like, ah, it's got weird.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
What what do you think he had? What do you
think the crackhead had in his back.
Speaker 3 (51:58):
I thought, you, master, Bob, that is weird. But no,
that's shakewaight, bob.
Speaker 2 (52:04):
What is the fitness oriented? None of its fitness. No,
he had a bag with a pet goldfish in it,
or a petfish. He was a beta fish.
Speaker 1 (52:15):
Yeah, that's the part that they found weird that in
his backpack he had he had a bag full of
water with his pet fish in it. So again that's
that's where things got weird. But by the way, what
do you think the petfish's name is?
Speaker 11 (52:35):
This?
Speaker 1 (52:35):
Again, this is the part where it gets weird, all right,
So what do you think the name of the pet
beta fish that the pantsil three times pantil is dude?
It was pleasuring himself leaning against the door of the
Taco Bell, which, by the way, now some poor bashardh
went to the Taco bell the next day, went to
walk inside, probably grabbed that door handle. What do you
think the petfish's name is? And it's going to be
(52:59):
mech Taco Bell inspired. His fish's name is Baja Blast.
I think Taco Bell should be giving this guy coupons.
That's clearly a man who is a fan of your product. There, Yeah,
(53:23):
they wanted to let you know that little Baja Blast
again a beta fish. You know, he only had one
because you know what happens you have two, right, they
murder each other as not the old wives tale.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
I know nothing about these fish. Apparently they're quite aggressive.
Speaker 1 (53:40):
Little Baja Blast has since been transferred to the Flagler
County Humane Society and is doing a quote great job
in her new environment. Let's see here, was he trespassed?
He had to be trespassed, right, Yeah, there you go
passed for the Taco Bell. I don't know how long
(54:01):
that is, trespass orders last and forward if it's a
year or more. But also I don't know if he's
gonna get his pet back, which was kind of dark man,
because this guy is homeless, he's really got nothing else
going on, and now he took his pet away.
Speaker 2 (54:19):
But all told, man, that's Taco Bell is going to
have a problem. You roll up like that.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
Speaking of problems, over the weekend, several Democrat female members
of Congress got together to hold a very important press conference,
and in fact, I thought it was so important that
it is probably worth our time to go ahead and
listen in to the important issue of the day that
they were bringing up, so that you understand the struggle
(54:47):
is very, very real.
Speaker 2 (54:49):
This is not a skit, This is not.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
An SNL thing from over the weekend. We're we're playing
to the audio of it. These are actual elected members
of Congress as well as a couple of local pol
titians where they were doing it. Who decided that the
greatest pressing issue of our time in this country is this?
Speaker 17 (55:08):
Today, we are here to talk about women's pain and
how long it's been overlooked. In the summer of twenty fifteen,
while starting my career in New York City, I woke
up on the floor of my local bodega.
Speaker 1 (55:20):
By the way, why does it sound like the World
Trade Center is getting attacked behind them? Do you hear
the amount of sirens behind them? I'm just pointing out
because they've decided that that's not a problem.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
This is approaches and sweat.
Speaker 8 (55:32):
Being dragged into an ambulance.
Speaker 17 (55:34):
Two male paramedics hovered over me right and continue to
ask me if I was pregnant.
Speaker 8 (55:40):
I had passed out from period pain.
Speaker 17 (55:43):
Even now, every month I have days where it feels
like barbed wire is tightening inside me. Oh my god,
I've taken two thousand milligrams of ibuprofen in twenty four
hours and still been in tears from the pain. Often
end up on the bathroom floor in the fetal position, crying, moaning,
or vomiting.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
It's just me getting up for a Monday show.
Speaker 1 (56:02):
I would point out, too, Oh if we had a
three day weekend and it's the Tuesday show after that's No,
can't tell you the number of times.
Speaker 17 (56:11):
Still I've put on a blazer and gone to work.
I've sat in committee hearings nauches from the pain, finally
breathing to make my way through it. I've given speeches
at rallies and run town halls while my body was
in full revols. I smiled for photos while silently wondering
if I might faint right then and there. In fact,
about fifteen percent of women have period pain so debilitating
(56:35):
that it disrupts worker school. That is no small number,
and yet we are told to suck it up.
Speaker 1 (56:41):
By the way, the goal of this press conference is
to get paid time off of what do they want?
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Twelve no more than that, twenty days or something for
period pain. So I don't know if that's three days
you get off per month, what it would be, So.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
That'd be twenty one'd be more. Then it could be
thirty six days. So I don't even I don't even
know what you're going for. You're going for two because
the numbers don't even necessarily add up. So that's what
they're That's what they were literally gathered at a press
conference to promote with everything else going on, so I
(57:19):
had to hear it, so you get too as well.
All right, seven forty four, here on the KCO day
radio program, Race Stagic for the Weather Channel to his
husband and wife get into a fight, right, things are
already not going well, at which point he says, well,
I'm going to bulldoze the house.
Speaker 2 (57:34):
What are you gonna do about it? And he did?
Speaker 1 (57:37):
That's wow, So not empty threats. But also there's this
is the part that people keep overlooking. He also had
an excavator sitting in his driveway, So like at that point,
if you get into a fight with your spouse, you
threaten to excavate the house and you have one parked there.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
Right, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 14 (57:57):
I wonder what the fight was over and was it
really to that level.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
Of well, the fight was they were getting a separation,
so clearly, oh that mad do something. Yes, so I
guess it.
Speaker 14 (58:09):
But that's a whole different level. Don't you think bulldoze
in the house.
Speaker 1 (58:15):
But he threatened that, he threatened to do it, didn't
ross What was the story we had a few weeks
ago where somebody kept making threats and then they did it,
and then we found out it was very easy for
them to do it.
Speaker 8 (58:25):
Wow, what was that?
Speaker 2 (58:27):
It was one of those things.
Speaker 1 (58:28):
But also she's in the house acting like she didn't
see she didn't see it. I'm not blaming the victim here,
not nobody was hurt, but like, you can't, you're you
can't sneak up on somebody with an excavator.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
No, you can't.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
It's really noisy, right right, And the probably best that
they separate too, because she'll bring it up every time.
Speaker 14 (58:49):
Oh yeah, I remember that time you took the excavator
through the living room.
Speaker 2 (58:53):
Yeah, that one down the house has to be. It
was the best anyway. So nothing that exciting around your
pust this weekend. No, not really.
Speaker 14 (59:03):
The little Cajun shrimp boil in the backyard for my
daughter's friends, Yeah, we did that. It'll cook out yesterday.
Recovered from that and now back at it. The first
day of hurricane season in the Atlantic. Everything's quiet there.
All the forecasts are for at or below normal in
terms of number of name storms, which is traditionally about fourteen.
(59:23):
So everybody going below that or close to it. So
nothing in the tropics now we'll keep an eye on that.
Anything coming. We may have some showers thundershowers coming this
afternoon now widely scattered though sunshine clouds. Mid upper eighties otherwise,
And this is actually a pretty decent front coming through.
Tomorrow morning. We wake up in the upper fifties ten
year sixty degrees, very pleasant, low humidity. Tomorrow, beautiful day
(59:45):
with a northeast breeze, sunshine seventies, ends day near eighty,
and then we're going to start more of a summertime
weather pattern. Nice little warm up coming Thursday through probably
the weekend where we go mid upper eighties by late
week Thursday and Friday does big ridge building in maybe
even ninety degrees by Friday for the Triangle, and then
near above ninety degrees for Saturday and Sunday. Looks like
(01:00:08):
it's going to be some great beach weather coming to
If you've kind of been, it hasn't been great so
far the last couple of weekends for the beaches, but
I think this weekend right now, it looks like it's
going to be a nice one.
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Okay, all right, well that's good.
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
Yes, there's never a bad day at the beach man,
you know, Nah, nah, never got to hang out inside,
just kind of stare out the window. Still better than Okay,
thank you sir, appreciate it all right, police needs your
help after a heist over the weekend. We'll let you
try to guess what was hoisted. But I have some suspects,
(01:00:42):
so all that were coming up seven forty eight. Hang on,
where do we even start here?
Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
United Airlines?
Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
So they diverted a flight back to Newark after Bluetooth
devices name sparks security scare.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
How many times are we going to do this? So
what'll happen? What'll happen? He is you get on there right?
Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
You're trying to find the American Airlines, you know, or
United Airlines or Delta air Lines or whatever Wi Fi
signal so you can, you know, streams of entertainment or
if you're super rich, I guess, buy internet. Although now
on American Airlines they have a thing where you get
free internet if.
Speaker 8 (01:01:22):
You are.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
An advantage member. Just super nice. You have a long
haul flight you don't want to pay for. It's a
little slow, but it works. I don't know if they're
still doing it. They did the last time I flew
here a couple of months ago. So, but anyway, somebody
will have their Wi Fi network right and it's got
a little cute see name.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
I'll tell you right now, if you're ever in my proximity.
Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
You'll know it because when we pop up in the
Wi Fi networks, my network that my iPhone pushes out
as part of its hot spot is Uncle Touchy's puzzle Basement.
That doesn't mean there's a real perverted Uncle, just I
(01:02:05):
very immaturely added that as my Wi Fi network name
decades ago, and now I use it for everything.
Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
And then occasionally I'll catch somebody.
Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
Who I could tell is look through Wi Fi networks
who sees that and it's a little weirded out or
they laugh. In this case, the name of the network
was Bomb and then they turned the flight around. And
there had been multiple instances of this because apparently if
there's one thing that al Qaeda or al Shabab or
(01:02:36):
the you know pick the Islamic Brotherhood of whatever does
when there when they get ready to bomb you'r plane
is name their Wi Fi network Bomb.
Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
We had one where they pay turned a plane around
because it was bomb detonator and they're like, ah, we
gotta turn the flight around.
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
They had another one where they turned it around and
it was butt bomb, which is either a fart Joe
or somebody making reference to the guy who tried to
blow the airline by putting the bomb up his butt
that we made the parody song about, which is one
of my favorite parody songs that we have in the
entire library too.
Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
By the way, this one right here.
Speaker 18 (01:03:14):
I put the bomb up my butt and I cannot
like let him headed off to du bite. I just
push it all in and I patiently worked and wearing
it that donates it bows boom, do not sneeze our
coffree maturely foot bow up, loom it up when I
am propavor and the discomfor bevering. What don't come me
an ignore raymus because I'm gonna be famous.
Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
Hope it's worth it.
Speaker 16 (01:03:34):
I'm not joking.
Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
There better be some margin wires are put mullus, Yes, mullus.
Speaker 18 (01:03:39):
Should I stick this up my butt and let's make
it make it make it may show put my butt well.
Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
In this case, the plane took off from Newark Liberty
International was about four hours into an eight hour flight
when security was flagged to inspect a suspicious bluetooth device with.
Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
A certain four letter word.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
The flight was then turned around landed back at Newark
late Saturday, after passengers were directed to turn off their devices,
and the suspicious.
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Name remained online.
Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
I am shocked that when you told everyone to turn
off their devices, that's some ass hat left theres on.
Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Oh man, Okay, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
So yet another day you had another sum somebody who
shouldn't have had a license, somehow had a CDL license,
and now a bunch of people are dead, even though
they can't speak any English.
Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
This happened in.
Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Virginia right there on I ninety five, where five people
were killed in a massive crash. Basically, you had a
bus or a tour bus with who is it where
they played it out of New York, all right, So
on the bush Interstate ninety five in Virginia they run
up on a bunch of stop traffic, which if you've
(01:04:53):
ever driven ninety five, you get around the big cities,
doesn't matter if it's Sunday at one in the afternoon.
This is totally thing that happens, except this dude wasn't
ready for it, and according to authorities, just kept potting,
you know, just driving his bus. Eventually slamming into a
bunch of different vehicles. Again, five people killed. I think
one of them is a friggin baby. Let's see here,
(01:05:16):
do we have a rundown in this I'm working on
two different articles.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
You have to have to deal with me.
Speaker 8 (01:05:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:22):
The traffic had initially slowed for a work zone, but
the bus made no effort to slow down, striking a
Chevy suburban and then several other cars. The suburban, after
it was hit, was then slammed into an Accurate suv.
The Acra caught fire. Four of the five people killed
were in the accurate, described as a forty five year
old man, forty four year old woman, thirteen year old girl,
(01:05:45):
and a seven year old boys that are quite a baby.
The fifth victim was the woman in the suburban That
was a twenty five year old woman. All told, forty
four people were taken to the hospital. Three additional people
of critical injuries. The driver, a Chinese national.
Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
By the name of Well, looped over the other story.
Speaker 8 (01:06:09):
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
What was this guy's name?
Speaker 8 (01:06:14):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
By the way, the bus was a bus that was
enroute from New York City to Charlotte, carrying thirty four
people total.
Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
Oh, I know the ideed this guy in one of
the stories.
Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
Here here we go forty eight year old Jing Dong. Wait,
hold on, Ross, is this Ding's brother?
Speaker 8 (01:06:36):
Do we know?
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
I'm sorry, I'm just seeing the name for the first type,
Jing Dong. That's Ding's brother, right, I believe that's Ding's brother.
So Ding's brother Jing also suffered injuries, remains hospitalized, charge
with two counts of involuntary manslaughter. And they pointed out
that the driver did not speak any English, but was
(01:06:58):
somehow able to get a a commercial driver's license to
haul tour groups around. And I just want to know
what his immigration status is. It sounds like he was
here I legally, but maybe he should have been working.
I mean really clearly should have been working in this profession.
(01:07:20):
It all happened around two point thirty in the morning
on I ninety five, south of Stafford County, so just
south of DC. In fact, I've driven to DC, driven
right through this.
Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
Well.
Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
According to state troopers, again the traffic gets sloped for
the work zone. However, they say the bus kept moving
at speed and st I'm just looking at a picture
of the bush. I mean the bus clearly took damage,
but its right side up, Its windows are all smashed
out in the front of it's just.
Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
I mean, messed up all all.
Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
But for the most part, the bus looks to be fine.
The actor, on the other hand, I can't even tell
that used to be a car. Did I see some
gnarly wrecks? I think the gnarliest wreck that I've ever seen,
I've seen a few. The one that stood out to
me is I was driving down to North Topsail and
(01:08:12):
I went through Jacksonville that way, so you know, you
go through Jacksonville and then finally you get through there.
In fact, he kind of like sneak around Jacksonville and
then emerge on that highway and you got that main
highway that goes down there before you turn left into
like where Topsail is, and usually it's traffic coupled with
basically every marine contingent you've ever seen driving around in
those troop transport vehicles and.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
They by the side of the road.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
Well, first I'm driving and it looks like a scrap
metal truck had like had a bunch of parts fall
off of it, And then I realized that that used
to be a Prius and somehow, and I guess they
were going in a crack, they roll way over the
speed limit. What it happened was that Prius was going
so fast that it, at about ninety miles an hour,
(01:08:58):
slammed into the back of what of those the marine
troop transport trucks, you know, the ones that's got like
the canvas over it, and then inside of that there
could be like, you know, forty marines sitting there on
the benches going to wherever they're going. It hit the
back of that thing and then I guess clipped some
other vehicle and it was sheared in like nine pieces.
Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
The Marines are all standing there on the.
Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
Side of the road. They had even been seat belted in.
And by the way, you know, they're not going very
fast too. So we talk about speed differential being a
problem because I've seen the Marines bop at each other
around to go to the various little you know, because
they own half the woods over there for all their
marine stuff. And you'll see like the little group of
(01:09:40):
them going with like three of those trucks, maybe some
sort of other support vehicle, and they're doing like forty
on that road. Like they're not going very fast. So
if you're late for wherever you're trying to go, and
you're going to get there in a hurry. If you're
doing like ninety miles an hour, you're doing double their
speed man, and in a tiny little car. The strength
of that military vehicle, I mean, that bumper looks invincible.
(01:10:03):
I don't even remember if the bumper looked damaged other
than where it clearly had, Like you know now you
can see fresh metal where it had hit it. So yeah,
there's a big difference there. But I couldn't get over
the fact the rains were all just sitting there looking
bored on the side.
Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
Of the road.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
I guess you just got out of whatever pt or
exercise you were having to go do, so that's good,
just in your mind, even though clearly I don't know
that anyone survived on the preus's side. The NTSB said
they would investigate all factors to try to figure out
what may have gone wrong. I don't know how about
the part where the guy inside doesn't speak any English,
(01:10:43):
And I don't know if you needed to speak English
to notice a bunch of traffic in the middle of
the night slowed down right because tail lights are there.
But they're gonna look at all different factors what I
have a feeling. The one factor that we're not going
to talk about again is how this guy was given
a commercial driver's license by the state of New York.
(01:11:04):
But yet here we are, all right, James o'keeps outfit
got somebody again, which just a reminder. And I don't
know why I have to keep saying this, because I
probably shouldn't be reminding people who might be criminals. If
you're a three or a four and just out of nowhere, well, oh,
and by the way, you work in some high level position, right,
(01:11:27):
something with a little bit of notoriety, and then all
of a sudden, a ten or whatever, somebody way out
of your league is like, we should hang out. By
the way, do you mind if we sit in this
cafe where I clearly have my phone out on the table,
totally recording stuff, and then I just ask you the
most insane inside baseball questions about your job, clearly trying
to get you to say certain things, but yet they
(01:11:49):
keep falling for it.
Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
In this case, not a.
Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
Politician, but actually the former now former employee for the
Washington Nationals who decided he was gonna he was gonna
spill the beans. Uh, this guy's name is Sean Hudson,
who was on on camera talking about a picture they
(01:12:12):
have by the name of Trevor Williams. And Trevor Williams
is a pitcher. Trevor Williams is also a Catholic, and
so this guy he's talking about specifically Trevor Williams, and
really how they as a as a as a leade
or as a team official, how they've had to deal
(01:12:34):
with Trevor Williams, who occasionally has been known to be
very vocal about certain things, like when he.
Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
Was with the under the Dodgers, right.
Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
Williams had previously criticized the Dodgers for hosting the Sisterhood
of Perpetual Indulgences, which, if you remember, is this drag
this drag group that dresses up his nuns, and for
whatever reason, the Dodgers they have like a whole day
dedicated to them, and a lot of people are religion
just said, hey, this entire group of this, the ladies
or the nuns, the Perpetual Indulgence, Sister of the Perpetual Indulgence,
(01:13:08):
is clearly just them mocking Catholicism and or Christianity. And
yet you chose to have them there at the stadium,
and so as a result, according to Carter, it was
then that the Nationals realized they had to really take
the focus off this Trevor Williams guy. And this dude
(01:13:31):
is talking to O'Keefe's people. He's just spilling the beans
all this stuff. Also, what you also find in these
stories is how much contempt people have for their own
fan base or customers or you know, the people that
they purport to work for.
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Like, check this out.
Speaker 16 (01:13:45):
I am the community relations team. It's ay corporate social responsibility.
Speaker 19 (01:13:53):
The director of community relations for the Washington Nationals of
the MLB reveals unethical behavior within the management the Washington
baseball team, including religious discrimination against a starting pitcher.
Speaker 16 (01:14:05):
From one of our pitchers, dude, Trevor Williams. He is
very cap The Dodgers had a group out of the
stadium who were drag queens who sometimes dressed up as knots.
He went on like a social media like this is wrong.
It's my religion.
Speaker 7 (01:14:22):
You all are mocking it because we.
Speaker 16 (01:14:24):
Don't use him on social life when they're like is
a hot dog sandwich? And like the players come up,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 19 (01:14:30):
Like we don't ask him, potentially a violation of Title
seven of the Civil Rights Act of nineteen sixty four.
Sean then also reveals the Nationals Park is executing a
surveillance strategy on Washington Nationals fans.
Speaker 16 (01:14:43):
If you ever come to a NAS game, there is
someone on our team who is responsible for figuring out
everything about you, or getting your REQUEPA of your Google history.
Speaker 19 (01:14:54):
And claiming their quote using baseball to make money by
selling out to pollunteer like defense contractors.
Speaker 16 (01:15:00):
Trying to use baseball to make money, and a lot
of that is like defense contractors, the palenteers of the world.
Speaker 19 (01:15:10):
Vine goes on to claim that some corporate meetings are
segregated as women only are gay only.
Speaker 16 (01:15:14):
They would be well within their rights to say, if
you don't identify as a member of the LGBTQIA plus population,
you shouldn't be at the specific meeting.
Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
There By the way, every time I hear somebody use
that entire acronym unironically, it just makes my brain hurts.
Speaker 19 (01:15:32):
Some spaces that should only be for those people, and
even discloses that he has a secret agenda to promote
communism to Nationals fans.
Speaker 16 (01:15:40):
There is a join the Communist Party poster up in
my kitchen. I would love to find ways to every
home run is one hundred dollars donation. That's communism, you
know what I mean. That's redistributing someone's wealth. And a
lot of people will tell you when I come to
a baseball game, I don't want to think about that.
If you're a sports fan and we'd piss you off, where.
Speaker 3 (01:15:59):
Else do you go?
Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Yeah? I mean, just just the absolute contempt for the
for your customers.
Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
I think every time they hit a home run, they
just have to donate one hundred dollars to communism.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
Sure, why not if you come to the stadium.
Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
You come to the stadium, we're gonna we're gonna get
your information, use it for comedy purposes.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
This is why I have a poster up in my kitchen,
or whatever insane thing he said. And it's just again,
it's just they're so happy about it. Just bragging, man.
So another one bites the dust is the team have
decided they're gonna they're gonna go in a different direction.
Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
With their community relations guy and apparently a fired of course,
now he's gonna file the lawsuits. So we'll see where
that goes, but uh yeah, not altogether unexpected. All right,
So what did police say was heisted over the weekend?
We'll give you details on that coming up next. Police
have launched an investigation and are calling on the public's
help after two rare minutes horses were hoisted over the weekend.
(01:17:03):
The animals described as two foot eight inches tall. Let's
see here, when do they think they were hoisted? Uh
in May twenty eighth or twenty nights overnight there? So
what was that is that Friday? It was Thursday last
(01:17:23):
week right into Friday. Well, anyway, they released descriptions of
the horses, you know, just in case, all of a sudden,
your buddy at works, got if your buddy at worked,
by the way, shows up today at work driving a
miniature like ben her racing chariot or two little miniature horses,
do you really need the description to be suspect? You
(01:17:46):
know what I'm saying, say Ross, Like, we're walking out
after the show today and all of a sudden where
Jeff Ferrell's parks. Now there's just a small chariot with
two tiny horses there.
Speaker 3 (01:17:55):
Hey, none of my business, really is that none of
your business?
Speaker 8 (01:17:59):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:17:59):
The Rockstar parking spot down there in the lower parking
lot for whatever reason, that nobody ever parks at if
where Trevor's suv normally is is now tiny little miniature
horses pulling a ball carriage like it's a.
Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
You know, a Disney cartoon. You canna have some questions.
Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
I'm looking the other way.
Speaker 1 (01:18:20):
I'm not looking the other way. I have again, I
have questions. The stallion described as white with brown spots,
while the mayor is apparently.
Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
All black there.
Speaker 1 (01:18:31):
What are they, Fellabella's? Yeah, so they're Argentinian miniature horses.
It's how you know they're from Argentina because they have
Nazis riding them. There's some stuff about the breed. Yeah,
I mean they just look like little miniature horses.
Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
How much are they worth? Apparently they're very expensive. Oh
good look for.
Speaker 8 (01:18:57):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
I mean you can pay a lot for horses, paying
what kind of horse you're getting. So now they're asking
residents who might notice, I don't know, extra miniature horses
in your neighbor's yard. What do you do if your
neighbor comes by and like, hey, hey, Bill, when's you
a ment your horses? Like I'm opening a petting zoo.
I guess at that point you just look the other way,
(01:19:19):
and they're urging residents who might have any footage or
suspicions of where they may be to contact police and
then they'll, I guess, go question them about their miniature horses.
Nobody can have a normal weekend. We got pantsless people
assaulting taco bell doors while holding pet fish. They're just
the general insanity that is politics.
Speaker 2 (01:19:42):
Now this.
Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
A Texas in Balmer was facing multiple felony charges. It
sounds like some of the charges got knocked down the
misdemeanors as part of a diversion program. Thirty six year
old Amber Lottermilk, who works at a funeral home, was
messing with some of the corpses.
Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
I can't believe I have to read this too.
Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
According to authorities, amber Lottermilk was found to, you know,
while in charge of embalming the corpses, apparently was tipped
off to the fat But I don't know, hold on,
I don't know if you can use the term tipped off.
They used the term tipped off twice in the story,
and you're gonna understand why in a moment they were
(01:20:35):
tipped off that lottermilk may, once learning that one of
the corpses was a convicted sex offender, decided that she was.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
Going to cut off their sports car.
Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
And then before sewing the mouth up, would then would
took the thing and then put it in the mouth
of the sex offender so they would be buried that way. Which, oh, look,
I understand right, You're like, ah, this guy was, this
guy's a registered sex offender, kept messing with the kids.
(01:21:14):
Glad he's not gonna be around doing that anymore. But
apparently you still can't cut it off stick it in
their mouth. How did somebody figure that out? By the way, well,
I'll tell you how they figured it out. But at
first I'm like, how did they figure it out? Apparently
she did it in front of another mortuary employee while
(01:21:35):
uh while telling telling the employee as the employee witnessed
exactly what was happening, quote, you didn't see anything.
Speaker 3 (01:21:45):
And it turned it turns out they did it.
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
Turns out they did. Is that something you can't see?
By the way, I don't care how mine my own business.
Somebody is like, rosses, you wouldn't even turn into the
guy with the chariot with the miniature horses. There's no
way you don't see that. Now, what is the defense here? Well,
a couple of things. First and foremost, attorneys for Amber
(01:22:07):
Laudermilk pointed out that she's a She is a provisional
in Balmer.
Speaker 3 (01:22:12):
Okay, so did she get the job.
Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
She did not get the job. Apparently she's not gonna
get the job. But I don't know how that makes
it better. She was provisional, right, she just she's training.
Speaker 3 (01:22:26):
She didn't know the training, she didn't pass the training.
I mean, was that in the manual you can't do this.
Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
I doesn't believe. I don't there's nothing in here suggesting
it was quote in the manual. I think that's one
of those things like.
Speaker 1 (01:22:42):
Where they shouldn't have to tell you, Like, let's say
every morning when you walked into work before the show,
and it's that you know, you've had two or three
cups of whatever and I gotta go to the bathroom.
You know you can't urinate on the board, right, you
know that, right? Ross, you can't go number one all
over your board, right, you're aware of this.
Speaker 3 (01:23:04):
I mean, I don't know if it's a rule, but
it's sort of like a guideline.
Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
Yes, it's a guideline inherently, you know that you can't
be like, I'm not gonna walk all the way to
the bathroom, can get my fob thing out. I want
to deal with that because it's on the other side
of the security door. Now, no, you just know you
can't do that. And nobody and it's never been in
any of our training, because you and I take the
same training. I've never seen it in there. That's how
(01:23:29):
authorities were quote tipped off, which again and I don't
think is a phrase you can use in this story.
Speaker 2 (01:23:33):
Also, and here's my favorite part of the defense. It's
not like she was keeping them.
Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
As some sort of weird I don't know, serial killer trophy.
Does that make it better that she didn't keep it
but rather placed it back into the corpse's mouth and
sowed the mouth shut.
Speaker 3 (01:23:52):
The defense attorney's like, fascinate me that they would get
a client like this and try to think through like
how am I going to defend this person? Like what
is my spin going to be? And now I just imagine, like,
you know, better call Saul up there going, well, you know,
they didn't take it, like it wasn't stolen. It wasn't.
Speaker 1 (01:24:06):
Yeah, yeah, that would be creepy, right, she was keeping
them here shadow making a statement. And also think about
the hilarity that's going to ensue when this person shows
up at the Pearly.
Speaker 2 (01:24:18):
Gates asking to explain themselves.
Speaker 1 (01:24:21):
Right, Saint Peter's like, all right, why shouldn't we send
you down to the bad place?
Speaker 2 (01:24:24):
Says you're your registered sex offender, And the dude's.
Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
Just like, right, you can't even defend yourself because I'm
pretty sure that's how you show up right in whatever
position they left you, your earthly vessel.
Speaker 3 (01:24:37):
All right, so you're going like the beetlejuice route.
Speaker 2 (01:24:40):
Yes, yes, I am right.
Speaker 1 (01:24:43):
You sit there in the waiting room with your little
number forever because all you got is time, and now
you get it.
Speaker 2 (01:24:50):
Now you explain why they I shouldn't send you to
the hot place.
Speaker 8 (01:24:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
According to the court documents, a fellow employees that she
saw Laudermilk quote stabb Rodriguez twice and this with the
scalpel and the groin and then cut it off and
then place in the deceit in's mouth, turning to her
and saying, quote, you didn't see anything.
Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
Like they carried this lide oh a funeral.
Speaker 1 (01:25:23):
The fellow funeral director said she also saw Lautermilk attempt
to manipulate the mouth of the deceiting after they had
already placed it in the mouth to make it look
like it was talking.
Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
What do you do you mean the corpse or the
sports car? What do you what do you do in
a baby voice? Or pretending it's talking.
Speaker 1 (01:25:45):
And for all the craziness in this story, the fact is,
whatever you think of the defense attorney, because Ross was
questioning how you go about putting this together, they were
able to get the charges bounced from a felony down
to a misdemeanor, So that strategy worked. Nope, it says
(01:26:06):
here that water Milks and bombing license which was in
a probition probition era right because again training was immediately
suspended following the initial charges back in March. So no,
it's costing their job. Plus you can't even apply within
(01:26:28):
the age of Google. You can't even apply to the
other you know a lot of jobs because you immediately
your last name is water Milk, which is not a
very common last name, and that stuff's going to pop up. Man, Oh,
I don't know if I can say pop up. You're
gonna follow you around. You're not getting away from that,
all right? Speaking of bad idea as Google is currently
(01:26:51):
petitioning the government for permission to release millions of genetically
modified mosquitoes as part of effort to essentially stymy the
local population. And by the way, this is the thing
that this happened before. They have a genetically modified version
of the of the particular mosquito bore mosquito strains known
(01:27:16):
to carry West n Isle virus, Saint Louis and cephalitis.
Speaker 2 (01:27:20):
See this is why I don't like Saint Louis. You
got thrown the cephalitis.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Dangay fever zeka. Oh remember do remember we're all gonna
die of zekea. A few years ago you wonder what
would happen to the zeka. I remember what was that
like fifteen years ago where they're like, the zeka is
gonna kill us all?
Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
And it didn't.
Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
Is in the US the.
Speaker 1 (01:27:41):
Only those particular I think you got to go all
the way to Key West to find those particular kinds
of mosquitos. But under a rule being reviewed by US
Environmental Environmental Protection Agency, now they're gonna do also the part.
Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
It's it's Google. Man, what does Google know about mosquito?
Speaker 16 (01:27:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:27:59):
So I guess what they do is only the female
mosquitoes bite, right, So what they do is they infect
the males, so when they mate, it wipes them.
Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Out like this, Yes, when they mate, they're only able
to have Yes, So.
Speaker 3 (01:28:10):
They're like, you know, if we infect the males, they
can't bite humans because they don't bite humans. But then
I'm like reminded of Jurassic Park. Right, Well that worked
out where you know, it just kind of happens. Yeah,
nature finds a way, man.
Speaker 2 (01:28:25):
Yeah, but Google, what does Google know about it? Yeah?
It's like, oh, hold on, no, ro Ros, I don't
know what you saw after you left for work this morning.
The thing I did? Oh it's hilarious. You ready, Yeah,
what you do? I released a billion mosquitos in your house?
Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
Is it a good thing or is it a bad thing?
Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
Well, now I'm finding out you're not supposed to release
them in the house. Oh okay, So I screwed up
and I'm sorry. And by the way, when your wife
opens the door upstairs, it's it's.
Speaker 2 (01:28:50):
Not gonna be pretty today.
Speaker 3 (01:28:54):
Do I have to come to work tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (01:28:56):
Probably?
Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
Not, man, Probably gonna get it last half.
Speaker 2 (01:29:01):
Yeah, there is that.
Speaker 1 (01:29:03):
Yeah, But actually I will say this, dude, you look
at the numbers or where they've done this before, because
they've actually done it. I don't know if Google did it,
but they did it down in Florida. I remember around
the Zeka craze they did this. They released a bunch
of mosquitoes down a key West and people weren't reading
the story to figure out why they were doing it.
But in reality, in the two other times that they've
done this year in the US, within like two life cycles,
(01:29:24):
which is not very much for mosquitos, Uh, they were
able to see significant drops in that particular population. At
the point I want to say, they eradicated like eighty
percent of the problem within two life cycles.
Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
So it really does work as crazy as as it
says it sounds.
Speaker 3 (01:29:44):
Yeah, but like you said, like why Google, It's like
when Bill Gates was doing all this stuff or Bill
j and the mosquitoes and ticks and all that stuff.
It's weird.
Speaker 1 (01:29:53):
Yeah, when did you say there's some crazy stats you
saw about the number of people can't eat red meat
and in North Carolina the numbers North Carolina have gone up, Yeah,
which is good because there's a couple of steakhouses I
like to go to that are always way too busy. Well,
I don't like to wait, man, and all I want
is a bar seat too. I don't even need a
(01:30:14):
full table. I don't feel like a bad guy. Just
give me a bar seat, man.
Speaker 7 (01:30:20):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:30:20):
Brent and I, a Florida resident, talked about how they
use the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District.
Speaker 4 (01:30:26):
To do this.
Speaker 1 (01:30:29):
However, the problem is the problem is as well, this
program has been going on for a few years. Oh crap,
look at the clock here. They you know, they haven't
seen real large scale stuff with it, so we'll find out.
Mister ray stagic, are you comfortable with Google releasing millions
of genetically modified mosquitoes?
Speaker 6 (01:30:45):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Not really?
Speaker 14 (01:30:46):
All right, there was a thirty two million or something.
Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
I thought, some crazy a lot?
Speaker 9 (01:30:50):
Is that a lot?
Speaker 4 (01:30:51):
Though?
Speaker 14 (01:30:51):
Relative to the overall?
Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
I don't tiny.
Speaker 3 (01:30:54):
Where do you give thirty two million mosquitoes?
Speaker 16 (01:30:56):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:30:57):
Where do you get that?
Speaker 6 (01:30:57):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
How do you don't know?
Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
I don't even see from last weekend I found where
thirty two million mosquitos are and they're on in great
of course, just waiting and.
Speaker 14 (01:31:07):
It's not right right now, it's not going to get
any better. Right if they released thirty two million more,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
Maybe that's just late.
Speaker 14 (01:31:14):
That's like saying, you know, there's thirty two million grains
of sand in this shovel.
Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 14 (01:31:18):
It's like is it grains of sand? Or is it
like is that a lot of mosquitoes? Anyway?
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
Okay, Well, Will used to be in Atlanta. You let
us know, right, I will. I will.
Speaker 14 (01:31:29):
A little tough beginning of the week, some showers, thunder
showers today, probably this afternoon, this evening, and that's actually
a cold front, so out ahead of the front. Mild,
still a little humid, mid upper eighties today, and then tonight,
pretty pleasant air mass settling in. We're in the fifties,
close to sixty degrees by tomorrow morning at a pleasant
load to mid seventy degree day tomorrow with plenty of sunshine,
(01:31:49):
dropping humidity, with a northeast breeze around Wednesday morning, load
of mid fifties, up near eighty in the afternoon. Then
we're going to start a heat up. Big ridge is
going to build in for Thursday Friday, and looks like
the weekend too as numbers will start going up closer
to ninety degrees, maybe even above, especially in the triangle
by the weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:32:04):
Okay, all right, thank you sir, you're buzzing. Run okay, run, yep, yep,
all right, there you go, racet aagic and we'll be
right back with Bloomberg next.
Speaker 7 (01:32:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:32:13):
You know a lot of people are taking those GLP
one drugs and going for the protein, and restaurants and
everybody else is adding protein to just about everything you
can think of, including things like pizza crust.
Speaker 7 (01:32:24):
Well.
Speaker 5 (01:32:25):
As a result, the US is now facing a protein
shortage case, and this is forcing manufacturers who use increasingly
popular way protein you know, the stuff that comes from
milk kurds right to halt production or reformulate their products
some way. Suppliers are already sold out for the rest
of the year. Alternatives include dry milk concentrate or soy
(01:32:49):
or pea protein. And the way protein shortage is now
driving up the cost of those other things, so you
know where that one's going. Speaking of cost, Dell introducing
your redesigned XPS thirteen laptop. It's really positioning this as
a direct answer to Apple's popular MacBook Neil, but the
new six hundred and ninety nine dollars Dell is more
(01:33:11):
expensive than the Apple alternative. Amazon is trying to get
you hooked on perishable groceries. This might have happened to you.
You know, you've got to buy something like headphones or
you know, a pair of shoes on Amazon, and all
of a sudden it wants you to, like order a
gallon of milk or those cosmic crisp apples. Those are
some of the things they're hawking there as Amazon tries
(01:33:33):
to get people more hooked on perishable groceries. The bed
is that a digital equivalent of would you like fries?
With That essentially will build a grocery habit among folks
who are really accustomed to pushing that physical cart through
the aisle. They say they're in it for the long run.
And get this, when you drive past an Amazon warehouse,
(01:33:54):
more than twenty percent of shipments from some warehouses are
now perishable items like apples or tomatoes or milk. Low
budget horror films from YouTubers are conquering the box office
talking about backrooms. This is a film based on Cain
Parsons YouTube series At debut to more than eighty one
(01:34:15):
million dollars at the US and Canadian box office. Only
costs ten million dollars to make this thing set a
record for the company that makes it, and the ten
million dollars is roughly on par with the opening of
the latest Star Wars film, The Mandalorian and grogu Right,
And really it's part of a whole new thing with
new directors from YouTube, kind of rewriting the playbook, you
(01:34:37):
might say, of Hollywood economics. And speaking of economics, we're
hire again today. There might be some disturbing headlines from
the Middle East, but who cares. Stocks are just going
to go higher. Dow futures after Friday's record close up
another one hundred and forty seven points, tod ASMP futures
up thirteen, Nasdaq futures up fifty one. And you know
how MGM Grand shut down that buffet Casey for the
(01:35:01):
last time yesterday May thirty first, you know, And everybody's
talking about. The weird thing is that even though the
number of all you can eat buffets in Vegas is down,
