Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's Champagne Friday. Happy Champagne Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
107.9.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
WSRC.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
And we appreciate you listening. I'm going over the talk
back again.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
It is Champagne Friday.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
What does that mean?

Speaker 6 (00:19):
That means it is time to back quirk.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Happy Champagne Friday, guys.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Love you.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Okay, that was impressive.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
Very good.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
She did not break stride at all. And she had
her finger in her mouth. That means it is time
to that course.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
It's too good, Amy. Too good.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
And I think I just stepped in my own out
of context. Really? She didn't break stride. She had her
finger in her mouth. What does that mean? Out of context.
That'll be fun. By the way, if you ever hear
an out of context on this station, let us know.
I mean, some of the best ones recently have been from.

(00:58):
Meredith's colonoscopy.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
That's right. Everything came out in the end, though, which
is really great. All good news. So, Meredith.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Speaking of you being an open book, there was a
time when, and God bless your husband, you played him
snoring on the air.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Snore hay.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Snore hay. And it's been much better, right?

Speaker 5 (01:20):
Of course. He got it all fixed with a dental device.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
A dental device was a game changer for you. Well,
they just released annoying sleep habits that are causing some
couples to split. And snoring tops the list.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:36):
Yeah. You can only be tired for so long before
you snap.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Number two, tossing and turning in bed. And number three,
I'm going to..

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Stealing the covers?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Stealing the covers. A new survey shows 17% of us
have ended up in a relationship, ended a relationship solely
because of snoring and bad sleep habits.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
But you know what? The person is asleep. They don't
have control over stealing the covers. They're just kind of
rolling over in their sleep.

Speaker 6 (02:10):
George says, my husband, Jorge or George, if you're new here,
same dude. I don't have two husbands. But he always
says I steal the covers. In fact, he sleeps with
his own sheet.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
You're kidding. In the same bed. Yes. He's got his
own sheet. Yes.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
He does not like comforters. They're too hot for him.
So I'm like, how am I stealing your covers when
you have your own sheet? But yes, he has his
own flat sheet.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
All right, well, what drives you crazy in bed that
isn't on this list? Now, here's the obvious, snoring, tossing
and turning, and stealing the covers. I tell you, talking
in your sleep. It's a great song by the Romantics,
which we're gonna play, but it's also a pet peeve
of people because it's a little weird. It's always weird.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
How am I supposed to know if this is jibber-jabber
or you're telling me something really is going on?

Speaker 5 (02:59):
You know? I need you to mean it when you
speak to me in the.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Middle of the night.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I had some grapes this morning. I'm gonna power wash
later this afternoon. What? What are you saying? Have you
seen the video of the guy During the day, he
works in customer service and it translates into his dreams
and the way he talks at night in his sleep.
The wife nudges him and she goes, honey, you're snoring

(03:24):
and you're talking in your sleep. He goes, I'm sorry
about that. If there's anything else I can do for you,
don't hesitate to call. We will be so great.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Oh, that's funny. We got to go find that.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
All right. 888-599-1079. Hit that talkback line if you're streaming
us on iHeartRadio. From the Brian Sabali Law Traffic Center.
Auto accident. Good God. First, we're going to go back
to the phones. We were talking about annoying sleep habits
that can be so bad. Some couples are splitting over them.
Here's the list. Snoring tops the complaint list. No surprise there.

(04:01):
Followed by tossing and turning. and stealing the covers, which
is hilarious. Not if you're getting stolen, though. Let's see here.
Thanks for holding.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Oh, good morning.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
I was calling about the sleep habits that drive you nuts.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Yeah, do you have one?

Speaker 4 (04:18):
I do.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Hogging the bed and grinding the teeth.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Hogging the bed, for sure, but grinding the teeth. I
used to grind my teeth and it drove my wife nuts.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
There's something about that sound that will pierce through the
bedroom right into your head.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
So those are the two I have.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
So what's your name again?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Oh, Stacia.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Well, thanks for calling. Don't be a stranger.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Thank you so much, David.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Bye. We were also talking about talking in your sleep.
I found the customer service guy.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
What?

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah. The guy who basically turns into a customer service
in his sleep. Oh my gosh. So that is coming
up along with game time next. $ 1, 000 is this one.
So as promised, I found the dude. We were talking
about talking in your sleep, grinding your teeth, hogging the covers.
Here is my favorite. And Meredith, you just saw it.

(05:21):
You can say this is legit.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
This is hilarious. Oh my gosh, it makes me laugh.
I hope you guys can understand what this dude is mumbling.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
The captions are, I found it on YouTube just by
searching customer service sleep talk. This is real. Here we go. Really?

Speaker 6 (05:38):
What?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Adjust your neck or something.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Why?

Speaker 3 (05:41):
What's wrong? You're like gurgling.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
I don't think it's me, but I'm doing pretty good.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I'm doing pretty good. This is like a night vision
camera in their bedroom.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
I said, I don't think it's me. I'm doing pretty
good here.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
I'm sitting straight and got everything I need right here
for me. I do appreciate your concern, though. And if
we can help in any way in the future, please
don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
I do appreciate your concern, though.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
We can help in the future, but then... Don't hesitate
to reach out. Don't hesitate, honey. He's right next to
her in bed. He's out cold. 30 seconds later.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Really?

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Cough.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Was that nice?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Is that all you need?

Speaker 6 (06:30):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
All right, well, I'll do anything for your time and
for being a person, right?

Speaker 7 (06:36):
If I can help you in any way in the future,
please don't have to reach out to me, okay?

Speaker 5 (06:41):
All right.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Thank you. Have a good Sunday. Have a good weekend.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
Do you know how often he says that for it
to be in his sleep autopilot like that?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
He doesn't move. His eyes aren't open. But that is
the script. Is there anything else I can do for it?
No one has a date to reach out to.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Oh, it's too good.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
And the last he did it was on Sunday. He's like, well,
you have a good Sunday.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
A rush to your wake up.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Just a good rush to your wake up.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Please don't have such a reach out to me, okay?
All right. Thank you. Have a good Sunday. Have a
good rush to your wake up.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
I just think his wife has just got to be like, oh, honey,
just dial it down. A lit of fuse this morning,
sleep pet peeves that sometimes lead to divorce or separations.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
Yes. Well, there's also that sleep divorce, which is where
you stay married, but you sleep in different rooms, which
is super popular. It is.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
And I don't like the name.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I know.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
It's a cool concept and it actually works.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Mrs.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Jones and I will do that from time to time.
Just go in the guest room. and you each have
your own little sleep sanctuary. But sleep divorce sounds like
it's a problem. I know.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
However, what happens when you guys have guests?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 6 (07:59):
Then you have to go back to sleeping next to
each other, and you're like, ah!

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Who is this person? Who are you? Each and every
Talk Back this morning, and there are dozens, eligible to
win that summer prize pack with DM in the a.m.,
We just saw the shirts this week and they are gorgeous.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
I can't wait to get one and wear it.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yes, I have mine already and I forgot to wear
it this morning. I wanted to, but we'll put them online.
We have great pictures of them as well. We get
excited about the small things like cool station shirts. So
earlier this morning. We brought up this category of sleep things,
pet peeves, that are actually causing couples to split. Now,

(08:48):
taking the covers in the top three. Talking in your
sleep wasn't in the top three, but that's what a
lot of people are phoning in this morning and leaving
talk bags. Here's another one.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
Good morning, David and Meredith.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Yeah, my husband's snoring is so bad that he now
sleeps in the guest room. Actually, he's been sleeping in
the guest room for quite a few years now.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
But the funny thing is we now have a French
bulldog who actually snores worse than him. But yet she, Stella,
gets to sleep next to me in bed. My husband's
not too happy about that. But, oh, well, she's a
lot cuter.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Anyway, happy Champagne Friday.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Have a great weekend.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
That is hilarious.

Speaker 7 (09:27):
Adorable.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
And what I just realized is I do the same thing.
My husband, we went and got a dental device to
stop his snoring.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yes, and it worked.

Speaker 6 (09:36):
But my dog, I take videos of it and text
it to my family like, listen to how cute his
snoring is.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Why is it okay when the dogs do it?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Yeah, and bulldogs are known for their little.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
Oh, that is adorable.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
That is great. And by the way, snoring number one
on the list of like breakups. People are like, I'm
out of here. I can't do it. Here's another. Good.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Morning, David and Meredith. I just wanted to let you
know that my husband and I both worked in the
kitchen for a while. And I used to wake him
up and tell him to stir the chili.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
It was burning.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
And also, now I work in a nursing home. Which
I did years ago also. And we had the house phone.
And I used to tell him to hurry up and
answer the call light every time the phone would ring.
Happy Champagne Friday.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
And right back at you.

Speaker 5 (10:28):
Oh, that is funny. Stir the chili, honey.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
It's an honor. And we'll put it on the podcast
earlier this morning. The guy who talks in his sleep.
And his wife will say, roll over, cough. And he's like, well,
thank you. If there's anything else I can do for you,
don't hesitate to reach out. Have a good Sunday. We
love it.
