(02:48):
you want to text over do that over to two
to ninety seven. A kind of exciting weekend plans. You
gotta let us know about that, you know the driveth
of Friday check ins. Just send everything over name and
exactly where around town you are, what part of town
you're in listening to what he showed today? Hit us
up two two nine eight seven. Reminder Sunday is Mother's Day. Yeah,
I guess what I'm doing after the show today? What
(03:09):
FedExing some cars? I bought them. I bought them on Wednesday.
I bought them on Wednesday, and then uh, Wednesday night,
I meant to have my kids fill them out so
I can get them off to my mom, and stuff
forgot forgot. So it was it was last night. They're
filling everything out and then today I will FedEx them.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Do your parents ow it's more than the gifts?
Speaker 8 (03:31):
Do?
Speaker 9 (03:31):
They always get a little card in one of those
big FedEx envelopes. Is that like usually what happens.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Well, so there's a card for me, there's a card
from each one of the kids. So that's three that
goes to my mom. It's got like a gift card
in there and stuff like that, and then we'll send
you know, flowers or something like that. But it's yeah,
just regular FedEx envelope. It's not a big envelope, just
like a yeah, regular FedEx. The same thing will happen
again next year, that's right. But also I had to
send one out to my to my step mother cards
(03:57):
and whatever. It was one for the kids. Yeah, So
that's today Okay, there's my Friday check in. That's what
I'm doing.
Speaker 10 (04:05):
I'm all about Amazon gifts. So you already have their
address in there anything and they just selects something and
just sends it to them.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
So that's that's fine. It's the card part because my
mom my mom loves cards more than anything, especially when
you write the note.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
In there, you know, I know.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah, Well, Mother's Day is this weekend. I was reading
this thing. It says it's time to nail down the
gifts that you'll give to thank the moms in your
life for doing what mostly is the most thankless job
of all. Blah blah blah blah blah. People keep coming
back to brunches, flowers, and bathrobes a year after year.
But they did ask moms what's the number one thing
(04:44):
that they want from their partner or from their kids
for Mother's Day? And that is free time, to time
alone or something like that. Yeah, some others may not
even remember what that is since it's been so long,
so they've had some but yeah, like close to sixty
percent of mom say they just want to be able
to drop everything and do nothing at all.
Speaker 11 (05:04):
Yeah sounds good.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, but then who's going to have a dinner ready.
Speaker 12 (05:07):
Yeah yeah, wow, yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I mean who's going to make sure the kids have
their homework done and are ready for their bags? Then
how are they supposed to get to soccer practice? Another
four to two percent would just love some time to themselves,
not looking to be treated like a queen as much.
You know, just like to read or watch a movie
or to you know, work on something.
Speaker 9 (05:30):
It would be nice.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Yeah, but I mean, you know, because a lot of
people are working too. You got two working parents, It's
not like they're just sitting around all day the kids
are at school, because that's that's the one thing. Okay,
when you have to stay at home mom and the
kids are off at school all day, that is your
free time.
Speaker 9 (05:45):
Lucky. I don't have that, I know, nce and quiet.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I don't have that time. I guess as the dad
who works, I don't have this big chunk of my
day where there's absolutely whatever I want to do or
need to do. There's there's nothing that's.
Speaker 13 (05:58):
Still stuff to get done. You need to do the
long you need to grocery shopping. Where do you think
she's getting the food to cook your dinner?
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Yes, I'm the one that does the grocery shopping by
the way.
Speaker 9 (06:06):
Following you around, asking you a million questions.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yeah, like if you need an hour to read, you
could sit and read for an hour. The kids are
at school all day long, right, grocery shopping takes twenty minutes. Yeah,
if you're a working mom, okay, and then you're doing
a lot of the mom stuff. Okay, fine, I get it.
You want that free time. But if you if you
are the person who drops the kids off and then
you got the day until three point thirty, Like, dude,
(06:32):
that is that's your free that's your free time.
Speaker 10 (06:34):
It sounds like you're throwing out all these problems but
no care to solve them.
Speaker 13 (06:38):
And there's not problems, there's just things to do.
Speaker 10 (06:40):
Yeah, but you know, yeah, don't solve the problem.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
This basically be surprising if you've never taken care of
small children children, or if it's been so long you've
forgotten what it's like. But tother's and preschoolers come to
the bathroom when you go. Yep, that is true. That's
the thing. When the kids are at home.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
That tiring.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
That's different. Oh, tiring, that is different. Even if you're
going alone, they stand outside the door Yeah. We used
to joke about like the little hand coming under the door,
lock it. Are you in there? But yeah, sorry, Look,
by the way, that is a great gift. If it's
free time and whatever that you want and you get
some malone time, great, But then don't complain there's no
(07:15):
flowers and there's no going out to dinner.
Speaker 9 (07:17):
Well, here's your flowers.
Speaker 11 (07:19):
We're leaving.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
No, but you know what I mean, what if it
was something tangible? Gino, like you don't you don't want
another coffee, muggy, do you want flowers?
Speaker 9 (07:27):
It would be so great if they left for the day, that's.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
What you want?
Speaker 5 (07:30):
What if it was something tangible though?
Speaker 11 (07:32):
Like what that's the question?
Speaker 5 (07:34):
That's I'm good. I see.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
This is why I keep arguing, let's get rid of
all the all the obligation things Birthdays, Christmas, so Mother's Day,
Father's Day. That includes all the stuff for me too.
I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. I but
I don't do it for anybody else. Yeah, I'm saying
let's just go Okay, we're adults, right, we don't have
to do this anymore.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
Advantage.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
I can send you a text or give you a
phone call and go Happy Birthday, Greg, Yeah, that's it.
The mother's day.
Speaker 10 (08:02):
He wants to cancel Christmas.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
No, no, I want to have the like. The gathering
is fine, it's just the whole. It's it's the gifts.
Speaker 10 (08:09):
And the like.
Speaker 9 (08:10):
My dad always used to say, he used to call
holidays supposed to days. I don't do suppose two days.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Right, because like you're you're just going and trying to
figure something out to buy because you're supposed to buy something.
That's it. I agreed.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
I would like to abolish all those days.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
And that that's it. I would not want the stay
at home mom job either. I wouldn't want it.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
That's why Thanksgiving rules, because you have the gathering, the food,
and that's the drinking and no present.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Right, exactly, the best day of the year eight seven
seven forty four woody Friday check ins over to two
two nine eight seven. All right, we'll get to the
birthday's yere in a second. There's a there's been so
much lawsuit stuff. Oh yeah, this actress has filed a
lawsuit against James Cameron and Disney. I mean that they
(09:00):
used her facial features as the inspiration for the main
character in Avatar. Yeah, and they did that without her permission.
Oh damn. Yeah. She was fourteen when she starred as
Pocahontas in the New World, and she said that James
Cameron saw a photo of her from the movie and
(09:21):
used her face as the basis for the CGI character
played by Zoe with her name is Saldana. Yeah, right,
so the laws who claims that she was never contacted, credited,
or compensated, despite James Cameron allegedly later admitting publicly that
her face inspired the design, and she says it feels
especially hypocritical because the Avatar franchise presents itself as supportive
(09:43):
of indigenous cultures while allegedly exploiting an indigenous teenager behind
the scenes.
Speaker 9 (09:48):
I mean that is what the movie's about.
Speaker 10 (09:50):
Yeah, very much.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
And if he said that, yeah, I mean, all these
other actors and actresses talking about the AI stuff with
Morgan even protecting his voice.
Speaker 10 (10:01):
Oh yeah, all right, yeah, I'm looking at the photo
right now. Pretty close.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
I don't think it's that close. He's just kind of
making the same expression.
Speaker 9 (10:10):
But it's not even up to us to figure it out.
If he said so, then that's it looks.
Speaker 14 (10:14):
Like her lips and everything. It looks like an avatar
version of her.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
I guess so, but just again kind of just making
the same You could kind of make that same expression
and be like, oh.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Look it's me, I'm an avatar.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Oh. Greg, by the way, you know he's doing chick
on chick stuff now, is a Hayden pantier?
Speaker 5 (10:29):
I heard she came out as by right.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
She said she had girlfriends in the past but kept
a secret. Damn, which makes it but what hotter? I
did have an invatory moment the other day.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
I was laughing. I heard in a commercial a grocery
store is advertising by colored corn. There's by corn.
Speaker 11 (10:47):
Everything's so hip?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Yeah right, yeah, pretty cool. Oh Disney, Uh, there are
some rumors about Disney is considering switching back to legacy
characters for their film.
Speaker 15 (11:01):
I think quite understand what that meant. Do that mean
that like they're just gonna read because already brought us
they did a Han solo movie. Are they going to
reinvent those characters of the actors.
Speaker 9 (11:09):
Talk about Bambi yeah, and Star Wars Yeah yeah, it's
all the Star Wars stuff.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
But like, yeah, like they want the Han solo Luke
sky Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader kind of stuff.
Speaker 15 (11:20):
They kept chewback I see three P three and R
two D two obviously because these are easy ones.
Speaker 14 (11:24):
Yeah right, they're basically talking about getting up putting. Uh,
the new trilogy people not really in anything.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Yeah, I can't see more through the the glass over there,
so I can't get his opinion on it, because he
would be the the go to star Wars.
Speaker 15 (11:38):
We crept on like the Chicks Star The Chicks, Luke Skywalker,
the Ray character Ray because they said like, well, yeah,
well you guys did, but the Triinn was kind of
the yeah and Finny. They crept on her because she
didn't really have to go thrillthy trials and triplations of Luke. Yeah.
Speaker 10 (11:56):
They were just like, oh, she's suddenly magic. Yeah she
didn't kiss her brother?
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Right, Well, did she.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Didn' understand why she had these powers?
Speaker 13 (12:03):
Yeah, it's because of her ancestors they were passing.
Speaker 15 (12:05):
But but but Luke Skywalker had to go through trials
and try learning and teaching through Yoda.
Speaker 10 (12:10):
And she was just like like some little old man.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Yeah, Greg, what's your take on the whole thing as
a person.
Speaker 13 (12:16):
Yeah, but she still had to go through learning.
Speaker 14 (12:18):
She had the power, she didn't know how to use them,
and that's why Luke had to teach her.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
She went to the island and what happened there?
Speaker 13 (12:23):
What do you mean what happened there?
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Because she like Moose rocks around real tough.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
She got the power from Prase.
Speaker 13 (12:29):
She went directly into the darkness and then Luke was like, I.
Speaker 10 (12:32):
Can't teach you.
Speaker 15 (12:33):
You used the They went easy on her because she
l that's there. That's the complaint exactly off from the
lady ts you make a good.
Speaker 13 (12:40):
Woman and she was a great pilot already wanted.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Greg Glory, what you got?
Speaker 5 (12:44):
So many lawsuits that we've been talking about, and there's
another one against Renee Zellweger and aunt Anstead who used
to be married to Christina Hack from HGTV. By the way,
fun fact, they're being sued for ten million bucks because
the chick Tracy Bellan, she was at a house that
aunt Anstead was renting. He didn't own it, he was
renting it, and she tripped over this rug and hurt
(13:08):
her ankle so much so that she says she's going
to have lifelong implications from this injury. So she wants
ten million bucks.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah, oh, is this a rug filled with spikes? Is
this like a there was a small So renees Elwigger
owns this place. She does not know this dude, Glenn
Wilson owns the house. Aunt was renting it and Renee
wasn't even there at the time. So she's suing all
three and wants ten million bucks. So now this Glen guy,
he who owns the house, is not counter seuing, but
(13:37):
he wants to be clear in court that he doesn't
owe her a penny. So why is she being sued? Though?
Speaker 5 (13:43):
Renee zelway because she got money because she's with Aunt
and she lives nearby in Laguna. But that's why she's like,
get me out of this lawsuit.
Speaker 9 (13:49):
Yea, you could see anyone for anything.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
Not my house wasn't there, lived nearby. That's my only
connection to aunt Anstead. It was a gathering of friends
that at Ant's house.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
I just don't know how you can how do you
and tie her in right at all?
Speaker 5 (14:01):
And now ten million bucks is what she wants?
Speaker 9 (14:04):
Was was she like an Olympic runner, like why is
her ankle ten millions?
Speaker 15 (14:10):
Well, see the thing is and you'll say, well the
judge would see this, throw it out and penalizer. But
a lot of times they just they'll dismiss it, and
they'll dismiss it with prejudice, but they won't then come
after you for being frivolous.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
And then I also think when you are suing somebody
after a car crash or whatever, your lawyers will go
after any whatever three million bucks, knowing damn well you'll
probably get like twenty grand.
Speaker 10 (14:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
Yeah, so it's probably why the stars star go for it.
Speaker 10 (14:34):
But yeah, we always think we'd never think about how
weird it is. Like you're gathering for a dinner party,
you obviously probably know this person, and then now they're
like suing you. That is so odd to me.
Speaker 11 (14:47):
Well, people have a friend of mine, people.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Have an outlook on things. They go, well, no, it's
not about you. Your insurance company will take care of it. Yeah,
So they look at it as like they're just gonna
get this easy money out of the insurance. If you
don't have pri it's not Yeah, it's not gonna affect you.
They're not going to drop you right from your coverage.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
Just happened to me in my backyard, a drunken accident
during a party, and then about three months later, Hey,
just curious, who's your homeowners?
Speaker 4 (15:12):
And yeah, well well, I mean you would have to
tell them, You tell them, well, because they'll figure they'll
figure it out anyway.
Speaker 9 (15:21):
Let them figure it out.
Speaker 10 (15:23):
Yeah, you figure it out, then they'll go af to
you personally.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Oh menace. Did you hear who's a quitter? Speaking of
lawyers in lawsuits? Yep?
Speaker 10 (15:32):
Kim k Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
I saw.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
She's gonna be a lawyer.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
I thought she was Kim k esquire.
Speaker 10 (15:38):
She has thrown in the towel like it was impressient.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
She kept failing, right, did you kept?
Speaker 10 (15:44):
You get two chances a year to try to pass
the bar and she has not passed it.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
But I think you get seven chances total.
Speaker 10 (15:51):
Yeah, but she was going to have more chances in
July and she has decided not.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
So she's like all right, like for the bar, like
what is the what is considered pass on that one?
That one?
Speaker 10 (16:03):
I don't know, but also is just like per percentage,
like you're at a bazillion things like how do you
expect to even pass?
Speaker 4 (16:12):
How do you even have the time to study? You know?
Speaker 5 (16:13):
Yeah, seriously, she's so busy.
Speaker 13 (16:16):
Is she totally done or is she just taking a
year off.
Speaker 10 (16:19):
And a gap year that she will not be pursuing it? Okay,
so prom solid answer on this is a rough rough numbers.
Thirty to forty percent of the bar takers fail first attempt. However,
within two years, ninety to ninety six percent eventually pass.
Meaning Okay, once you get through with it and done
it a few times, but.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
What do you have to get on the actual test?
Speaker 9 (16:41):
Like sixty five percent?
Speaker 4 (16:42):
I think? Yeah, are you serious?
Speaker 9 (16:43):
I'm looking at it here.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Sixty five percent.
Speaker 9 (16:46):
Thirteen ninety out of two thous That's not.
Speaker 10 (16:48):
As important as the number of people do it. But
these are people that are dedicating their whole time. Greg,
I'm not making an excuse. I'm just say no, I'm not.
I'm just saying the events she can't pass it. No, no, no,
I'm not making excuses. Just hear me out. I just say,
I'm shocked that you think you could even pass this
when you're not dedicating all your time to it. I'm
(17:09):
not shocked because I've looked again. I just was doing
some L S A T. Questions and it's not tough
especially Okay, so is this your next challenge, pass the
bar blindly.
Speaker 15 (17:18):
Not blind because for the bar, you do need to
know actual law, like because they're not asking you just
logic questions. They're asking you specific legal questions. You do
need specific knowledge on. But she's been doing this for
what five six eight years now and having this like
internship thing, you had five.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Or six years to get sixty five percent?
Speaker 10 (17:35):
Yeah, with like the duds around the class as something
called the baby bar. I guess that's like.
Speaker 15 (17:39):
The probably bite test the baby If in two years
ninety five percent of people eventually pass it, that means
she's dumber than ninety five percent of people.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Well, I means the reason that take it.
Speaker 13 (17:51):
Yeah, but she's taking it.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
I don't blame her. I mean why yeah, bother.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
Because because you made a big deal about it.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
Yeah, that's why.
Speaker 9 (17:59):
Still and you're getting people out of prison.
Speaker 10 (18:02):
It goes back to my rule, greg, Right, how many
people tell anybody just do it?
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Well?
Speaker 4 (18:06):
How many people have started a project and then halfway
through and go, yeah, you know what, forget it? You
start you know, I'm just around the house, like things
that you want to know just in general, Like I'm
going to be really in the pickleball and you go
buy all the crap and then it's burned out within
what huts.
Speaker 15 (18:20):
And I'm getting pilot's license and you said, well I
got you know, I just took three thousand hours of
training and I'm just too stupid to do it.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
Well, you know that does happen. Like the the percentage
of people who actually start flight training compared to the
number who actually get their pile's license is very low,
because anybody could start flight trading. Yeah, it's very low,
because then you have to do all the actual stuff.
You have to take all the knowledge exams, you got
to do all the practical tests, you got to do
all that stuff. Yeah, and that's where people flame out
because a lot of stuff, especially what I'm doing right
(18:48):
now with this instrument rating, it's super technical. Yeah, super tech,
Like the written test is mega technical, and aerodynamics and
weather stuff and all these things and how that affects
you know, the lift, the whatever, the load component of
the whatever. The it's crazy stuff. And you got to
get you know, passing great on that. That's seventy percent,
oh seventy percent. But then after you do that, whatever
(19:10):
you've missed on on that exam, then gets brought up
on the exam that you do with the FA examiner
to make sure the past. Yeah, so it's not like
you just miss on that and then they get you
on the other one. So it's that's why people they
go all right, this is not just the fun stuff,
and they're they're.
Speaker 15 (19:28):
Out, here's your here's your numbers. About twenty five percent
fail their private pilot license practical on the first attempt.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Yeah, but like how many people start flight training compared
to actually get there. I sure that's a billion. Yeah,
I forget what the percentage is. It's it's crazy low. Yeah,
it's a little crazy low.
Speaker 10 (19:43):
That's why you fail. In silence win publicly, Gina grad
What you got?
Speaker 9 (19:48):
More lawsuits? Stephen Tyler. He's going to trial in August
over and we we've kind of been hearing about this
was finally happening. Allegations that he groomed and assaulted this
girl when she was sixteen. And it's also kind of
like the James Cameron thing. He's he's kind of screwedin
away because the lawsuit claims he used his power of
you know, being a rock star and you know, and
took her on tour as her legal guardian and her
(20:12):
team says that he even admitted in his memoir calling
her his teen bride and writing she was sixteen and
she knew how to nasty.
Speaker 10 (20:21):
Oh damn so not great.
Speaker 9 (20:24):
A judge dismissed most of the claims due to time limits,
and a portion is still active. Under California's rule, there's
a look back window for child victims if you want to,
you know, go back years later. Tyler's lawyer called the
dismissal of all the charges of massive win. But this girl,
her attorneys insist it's finally time for him to be
accountable to a jury.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
So what do we know what year roughly this would
have happened.
Speaker 15 (20:45):
I mean, it sounds like a lot of these guys
did a lot of that kind of stuff in the
sixties and seventy.
Speaker 5 (20:49):
They say about it, at.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
It and again we put it on.

like some kind of medicinal syrup to alleviate headaches and,
fatigue and the original recipe contained nine milligrams of cocaine per. Glass. Yeah,

World they said That coke And Michael. Jackson you can
be like deep somewhere in a jungle and they'll know
what it.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Is even Though Michael jackson was associated WITH. PEPSI i
think that's something that's, weird, right did you see this
this story see. Beast there's a company and they've announced
that they are working on a new form of wearable.
Tech it's a wearable, item a. Beanie the, tech they,
say can read the mind of the person wearing.
Speaker 11 (28:46):
It what does that?
Speaker 4 (28:47):
Mean So Sabby sabi is the. Company they said that
the beanie has a bunch of tiny sensors on the
inside of it and it uses THE i can't even
pronounce his word electron from the norm and it acts
like as a brain to computer interface and it just
translates your thoughts INTO.
Speaker 15 (29:07):
I, mean that is interesting and we will get there.
SOMEDAY i doubt it's going to be something you could
do over your skin and through your. Skull but but
there is there is science roughly behind this because when
you look at the electrical impulses that generate into thoughts
and which of course generate into. Actions of, Course, uh that's.
Speaker 9 (29:25):
Predictable, well and don't we have that for quadriplegics, now.
Speaker 15 (29:28):
Well there's a lot of, that, yes neuralink thanks To Elon,
musk who's saving humanity PEOPLE i don't know that. Name
like we the the chemical signals in our brain are
working long much much.

thought AND i did. It it's it's actually. Happening but
why would you want?
Speaker 4 (29:46):
This?
Speaker 14 (29:46):
YEAH i mean this seems like it's a tool for
like war and to like capture.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Head, yeah don't tell.
Speaker 4 (29:54):

COMPANY i, mean are you?
Speaker 5 (29:56):
Cool do you want to?
Speaker 4 (29:58):
Have wouldn't be interesting just for like a day where
there was a. Screen you ever see that game where
people are trying to guess you put the phone up to.
Speaker 9 (30:07):
Your heads us.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
Up, yeah the same kind of, thing but there's like
a screen above your, head and it's just saying exactly
what that person is. Thinking like while you're looking everybody's
thoughts like that they're thinking, silently are all of a
sudden on. Displayed would? YOU i hate it because yours
is up there too for.
Speaker 9 (30:26):
You you all know HOW i feel about. YOU i,
mean what AM i thinking that people would?
Speaker 4 (30:31):
Know i'm. THINKING i don't see. WORDS i don't.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
Know that's WHY i don't see where.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Anybody would really want this mind reading.
Speaker 14 (30:39):
BEANIE i don't think we need to see people as
crazier and stupider than we already think that they.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
Are it says it can also do this fairly, fast
populate the words on the screen in about thirty words per.
Minute the main target for the beanie is people with accessibility,
needs but they, said you, know anybody could use. It,
OBVIOUSLY i.
Speaker 15 (30:57):
Would be interested to put it on a crazy. Person,
yeah that'd be.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
Cool that'd be kind of. Interesting see what this baby can. Do,
hey you know what like when you send somebody to
court or you're questioning.
Speaker 9 (31:07):
Them, yes perjury, Time.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
Yeah questioning them after you picked him up right?
Speaker 10 (31:11):

Headlines, well there's there was a giant cyber attack that
hit that online learning Platform. Canvas Not, Canva canvas used
by nine thousand schools around the, world just.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
In time for everybody's, finals. XACTLY i saw that it.
Was it's causing all kinds of problems right at the
end of the school year.
Speaker 9 (32:21):
Two that. Sucks users aren't able to access, assignments, grades,
tests course, materials and some schools are even forced to
cancel or reschedule all these. Exams they're so. Sad so
this hacker Group Shiny, hunters is taking. Responsibility they say
they stole the data type up to two hundred and
seventy five million, students. Teachers staff reports say exposed info
(32:42):
probably includes, names email, addresses student, IDs course, enrollments private,
messages Though canvas's owner says there's no evidence that passwords
or financial data government IDs were messed. With some users
who tried logging Into canvas also reported seeing ransom notes
threatening to leak more data unless the school's paid by next.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Week so we'll.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
See there's something with a school that ended up paying
the rams and then they bust to the guys who did.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
IT i think it was a.
Speaker 9 (33:09):
Hospital was?
Speaker 10 (33:10):
This they do, hospitals they do.
Speaker 11 (33:12):
Schools, yeah they.
Speaker 9 (33:13):
Do everybody stuff that has to stay running no matter.
Speaker 17 (33:15):
What.
Speaker 9 (33:16):
Yeah, well THE ncaa says that both men's and Women's
March madness tournaments are growing from sixty eight teams to
seventy six teams starting next, season which is the biggest
change they've had in fifteen. Years so the current first
four round will get a lot, bigger adding eight more
games and twenty four teams before the regular sixty four
team bracket. Starts teams with the lowest seeds will battle
(33:37):
for spots in the main tournament, field And, Dayton ohio
will host some of the opening, games with other locations
probably added.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Later there's already a. Billion it's like hockey. PLAYOFFS i
feel like almost everybody makes the. Playoffs uh, huh you know.
Exactly but we just come out on this kind of,
thing just, say everybody's in the. Playoff it's all about the,
money do you?
Speaker 10 (33:53):
Guys?
Speaker 9 (33:54):
Yeah do you want to know why this is? Happening?
Speaker 4 (33:55):
Money, yeah, yeah it's big. MONEY i meant that. PART i,
understand BUT i wish they would just be a little
more transparent. Everybody it's one of those things everybody, knows
but they won't just straight up. Acknowledge they'll they'll they'll, say, oh,
well it gives opportunity for other schools to showcase their,
talents and it makes it more exciting for. Fans and,
(34:16):
like there's already a billion, teams but it's already.
Speaker 9 (34:18):
Exciting but if you had, talent And i'm speaking as
a total outsider who knows nothing about, this if you
had talents to, showcase wouldn't you already be in?
Speaker 4 (34:24):
It, well there's a billion.
Speaker 10 (34:26):
Schools, YEAH i was about to, say with that many,
games how many schools don't get?
Speaker 2 (34:30):
In?
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Yeah there's STILL i, mean think about how many colleges
there are they have a basketball, program, right.
Speaker 10 (34:35):
More Than, Yeah BUT i thought there were like different
levels or. Something there are The division one school yeah.
Two you, know there's there's a bunch of different. Ones
but you, know, again it'd be nice if, man there
was a.
Speaker 4 (34:47):
Movie it's an, old, old old Movie Dudley. Moore, Ah, Arthur,
no it's A it was a movie Called Crazy. People
OH i remember.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
That.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
Okay so the premise of this, movie it's from the,
eighties and the premise of the movie was this guy
played by the Actor Dudley. Moore he worked with this
ad agency and he lost his mind and he decided
that what they were going to do is just be
honest and. Advertising he got fed up with sitting in
these meetings and thinking about all these different ways to
(35:20):
basically trick the consumer or you, know smoking miss right,
exactly and, goes what if we just were? Honest and
that got him committed to an asane. Assignment are you?
Crazy you can't be? Honest and so they sent him
to this nuthouse and he was still motivated by this
idea to have truth in, advertising and so he worked
(35:41):
with all the other nut jobs at the Nuthouse forgot
and they started creating ads for Like, Volvo they're, boxy
but they're, safe and it became the newest, sensation Like
it's swept the, globe and it was so successful that
they became like the most popular advertising. Agency it was
(36:01):
all run by crazy. People the name of the movie
is Crazy. People, yeah it'd be great if everybody's had
a truth, Serum like if you had a one week
period every year and you never knew when it was gonna,
happen but all of a, sudden like a switch was
flipped and everybody in the, matter they couldn't help. Themselves
Remember Jim carrey, liar, liar it's my favorite. Movie, okay same,
(36:23):
thing same, thing but a switch flips and everybody in
society has to be one thousand percent. On they can't even.
Not they can't even if they wanted. To they couldn't, lie.
Speaker 9 (36:32):
And they're horrified by what's coming out of their, mouth
but they can't stop.
Speaker 5 (36:35):
Exactly that's Another there's a movie you would, Love, woodie
if you haven't seen it. Yet it's Called The invention
Of lying With Ricky Gervais, fantastic where the whole world
has no clue what lying. Is And Ricky gervais goes
to the bank because he's, broke he's behind on his,
rent and in his head there's, like you, know all
this whirlwind of, thoughts and he said to the TELLER
(36:57):
i actually had four hundred dollars in my, account, said
oh you. Did i'm so. Sorry it must be a.
Problem she just gives them four hundred bucks in a
boom light bulb. Moment OH i saw.
Speaker 9 (37:07):
That that invention OF i Think i've heard of.
Speaker 5 (37:09):
It it's. GREAT i love you would love that.
Speaker 11 (37:12):
Movie.
Speaker 9 (37:14):
Well more than a dozen FORMER nfl players have joined
a federal lawsuit Against Ohio State, university saying that they
were sexually abused decades ago by former team Doctor Richard
strauss when they played for The.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
Buckeyes See, greg he went. In they, said, hey let
me see your, penis Said greg was saying about doctors.
FOREVER i think that's why a lot of people into the.
FIELD i THINK i have a broken. Thumb whip it.
Out you need to see your. Penis, no, no not your.
Thumb i'm here for turf.
Speaker 9 (37:40):
Toe the players are part of this large class action
case that claims this, Dude Richard, strauss used routine medical
exams as a cover for abuse between the late seventies
and the, nineties and the new group includes thirty Former
Ohio state football, players some of whom went on to
HAVE nfl, careers Like Al, washington Ray Ellis Keith, ferguson
and they say they delayed coming forward for years because
(38:02):
they were super ashamed and they were scared to go
up against a big. University and the university has already
settled with hundreds of other survivors for tens of millions of.
Dollars and now there's still these new claims and a
bunch of snack mixes are being pulled from the stores
after concerns about possible. Salmonillers, yeah after a seasoning. Ingredient oh.
(38:25):
Yeah target pulled out this recall For it's good and
Gather Mexican Street Corn trail, mix which sounds really good
and NOW i want to try, it while several products
From squirrel, Brand fissure And Southern Style nuts also got.
Affected the issue goes back to a seasoning blend made
with dry milk powder that has already been recalled by the.
Supplier so the company behind the snack says there isn't
(38:45):
any reported illnesses, yet but it's recalling it just to
be safe and in case you're not, aware salmonilla can
cause sometoms like stomach, pain, fever diarrhea and, nausea vomiting
and it's more serious for kids and older adults and
people with weakened. Immunes so you'll stay off the street
corn trail mix for, now.
Speaker 15 (39:02):
All, right weight, Laws, yeah you'll buy him off people returning.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
It it's a, cleanse, right.
Speaker 9 (39:09):
Right, well a guy In kentucky who spent more than
this is what he's, nightmare spent more than twenty two
years in prison for a nineteen ninety two murder he didn't.
Commit he was just awarded twenty four point thirty five
million dollars by a federal jury after he sued for wrongful.
Conviction so think about. That is it worth twenty two
years of your life for twenty two.
Speaker 5 (39:29):
Millions i've spent twenty two minutes Until?
Speaker 4 (39:31):
Yeah, well think about it this. Way dirty jobs with
micro there's all these jobs that you know nobody really
wants to do but pay really. Well so you just
made a million dollars a, year, yeah right for? Sleeping
how many opportunities you can.
Speaker 9 (39:45):
Have playing, cards flifting?
Speaker 4 (39:46):
Weights, yeah to collect a million dollars per year of quote. Service,
well you. Survived you're already out of. It it's not
like he's facing it now going all, right you're gonna
go to prison for twenty four, years but twenty four
years from, now you're gonna, leave you can with twenty
four million. Dollars he already did the, Time so now he's. Out,
yeah so THAT'S i, mean, dude good for him because
(40:06):
he sued.
Speaker 11 (40:07):
Them, yeah it's the.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
Field yeah felt so long, Though and that's that's the
that's the nightmare BECAUSE i think in this this, situation
like the, investigators this is the. Crazy they fabricated some
stuff to undermine his, alibi and the corner. Too the
corner was. Involved he was.
Speaker 9 (40:23):
Nineteen it was this case of this this girl being,
murdered and they the prosecutors called it a satanic murder.
Ritual and he argued that the investigators and the, corner
like you, said made up, evidence coerce, witnesses even changed
the time of the victim's death to mess with his.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Alibi, yeah because.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
They wanted to be able to Have, hey we got this.
Person now here's the, thing this GUY dna evidence.
Speaker 9 (40:45):
Right, yeap but all proves.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
That he didn't do. It, yeah and whoever really did
murder this person is still you, know on they don't.
Know so now it's not like they, go, oh we
figured out it was this. Guy really wasn't this. Dude,
no it wasn't this. Dude and we don't know who did.
Speaker 9 (40:58):
It, yeah and so he was released in twenty sixteen
and exonerate in twenty. Eighteen so for ten years he's
been trying to get this.
Speaker 5 (41:04):
Money it.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
Sucks, yeah what's in the?
Speaker 9 (41:06):
Corner are they going to? GYM i hope they're not
so passed at this.
Speaker 4 (41:10):
Point question on when you get a settlement like, that
like you don't pay taxes on that.

arm and a few witnesses saw this called the, cops
and when they stopped by and talked to this, chick

is the best thing is.
Speaker 5 (52:38):
Week it'll make her whole.

Speaker 6 (56:43):
Wars i'm all, Right, well so here's the here's the
news Involving Sea bass and the.
Speaker 4 (56:55):
TIME i don't know he's not. In we don't know
where he's he's.
Speaker 11 (56:59):
Hiding he might be.
Speaker 4 (57:01):
Still getting the D u I q together. Something, Anyway
Sea bass loves him the, Text oh, yeah, Constantly like
he'll sit in the office while we're on the, here
he'll sit in the office and just sit at his
desk and be going over what people are texting in
and he picks fights with, people even people who don't
(57:22):
deserve a fight to be picked.
Speaker 5 (57:23):
With.
Speaker 4 (57:24):
Complimentary, yeah they'll they'll text something over like SOMETHING i
can't even think of an. Example it just happened though,
yesterday like a song. Request, yeah and he'll text back
something very, snarky like.
Speaker 9 (57:37):
That last segment was. Amazing oh really you're amazed by?
Speaker 10 (57:40):
It is it?
Speaker 9 (57:41):
Amazing?
Speaker 4 (57:42):
Yes or well that's what unintelligent.
Speaker 5 (57:45):
People he has a huge pet peeve with lo l,
like OH i loved What genis just said about such and.
Such ll really you're laughing out, loud laugh. Honestly.
Speaker 4 (57:56):
Yeah so when when look just we do, crossroads we
Do greg's imature applies to text. Messages we're more than
happy to dish it back when it's being. Dished it's
when it's not being dished and it's just people who
are interacting and engaging with the, show like people who
are fans of the, show and you're being a dick to.
Speaker 5 (58:13):
Them THAT i.
Speaker 4 (58:14):
HATE i hate. It we've talked about signing texts from
who it's on the, like so if it said whatever
that was signed By Sea, bass that would be, different
but they go because then people get really. Upset they, go, well, hey,
Guys i'm. Sorry i'm a fan of the, show BUT
i don't like what like they get, it, dude it's not.
Helping it doesn't help, us it. Doesn't it hurts. Us
(58:37):
like the people who deserve, it, fine the people who
don't deserve, It i'm not okay With, yeah and so
YESTERDAY i Asked sammy to reach out to the people
that handle all the text, stuff and we Have xnate
his access to the. Text he's gonna, cry too. Bad
he loves the. Text he could text us all, day
(58:58):
remember he was doing.
Speaker 9 (58:59):
That he'll start.
Speaker 4 (59:00):
That he could he can send us a text from
his own phone if he's you, know which continues to
do his trolling stuff that he was doing. Before but
like when it comes to a listener getting a response
From Sea, bass that doesn't happen. Anymore oh damn.
Speaker 5 (59:14):
Good if you had a, shop let's say a coffee,
shop and you sold croissants and somebody said these are?
Amazing are they? Amazing? Really shut?
Speaker 4 (59:25):
Up, yeah?
Speaker 5 (59:26):
Simpleton, yeah never get. That customers LIKE i.
Speaker 4 (59:30):
DON'T i don't want that representing the. Show like if you're.
Texting we're asking you all the, Time, hey be a
part of the. Show Paul in text in blah. Blah
and when you do that and he gets some really
snappy douchebag response back for no reason, whatsoever again and. Again.
Unsigned if you're being a douche and you get it,
back fine you you deserve. IT i got no. Problem
(59:52):
uh anybody on the show telling somebody to go f?
Themselves who deserves. It it's when people are just participating
and they get snapped at and called you, know uh
names or, yeah called. Stupid, yeah and then you don't sign. It,
well and that's.
Speaker 9 (01:00:08):
The, thing not only and he doubled down because we
remember we asked him to start. Signing he, didn't and
he still refers to himself in third. Person so it's
like somebody else is doing it on his.
Speaker 11 (01:00:17):
Behalf that is.
Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
True, yeah that is also. True so now, okay well
you can't go.
Speaker 9 (01:00:24):
Yourself right out of the. Text was he going to
do with all his free?
Speaker 11 (01:00:27):
TIME i?
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Know?
Speaker 10 (01:00:28):
Yeah that was that was just like my biggest thing
of him just signing whatever whatever he's, writing because like
there'll be stuff that will be directed towards me Or
greg Or gina Or woody and Then i'm like sea.
Best i'm like out like face to face with listeners
all the, Time like.
Speaker 4 (01:00:44):
So it looks Like menace is the one that responded.
Speaker 10 (01:00:47):
AND i have no idea what they're talking, about and.
Speaker 5 (01:00:49):
You have to go back and, say, hey just so
you know that wasn't.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Me, Yeah i'm not saying that he can't earn it.
Back he can earn it. Back we might give him
another opportunity at some, point but right, now you're on
a time, out, dude suspend you're you're on a time.
OUT i want to find out from because it's a
different company that hosts the, program you, know that puts
all the texts together so we can see. THEM i
know there are different, things different levels of. Access like
(01:01:14):
it'd be one thing if he can log in and
see people are, yeah but it takes away the option
where it says.
Speaker 9 (01:01:21):
Reply that would be torturous for. Him that would be
war where.
Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
You could see, it but you can't reply that everybody text.
IN i just want to, Say and sometimes we when
we see Because i'm, like, what why who's fighting on
the text with? Somebody why are you fighting with? Somebody
and it turns out At Sea bass and can you
Not and we've talked about the signing of the text
(01:01:46):
and all right back you're arguing With Sea. Bass just

Speaker 16 (01:03:50):
People, yeah you, know twenty, somethings and, UH i like
to keep myself. Young asian is kind of the new,
uh the new. VIBE i PHIL i.
Speaker 10 (01:04:01):
Support it BECAUSE i did see him the other day
hanging out with the people that he does hang out,
with and they are much younger than he, is but
he does look the same age as.
Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
Them, yeah, yeah, Crazy, WELL i, mean going back to
the whole, thing. Black don't crack.
Speaker 10 (01:04:15):
Unless you do.
Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Crack unless you do. Crack and he looks, sweaty then
all bet then all bets are. Off. Yeah, yeah but
there's some cakes over. There love it into some of them.
Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
Cakes joran looks.
Speaker 4 (01:04:27):
Fire yeah it does.
Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
Cake.
Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
Yeah you know who else just? Arrived is a chef's
swoop h one where you guys? Were did you guys go?
Outside AND i had to.
Speaker 11 (01:04:37):
KNOW i had to get the pants THAT i would
be preparing for.
Speaker 4 (01:04:41):
Everyone we're back To omelet's.
Speaker 11 (01:04:44):
Nice, yeah you know it's the one Year omelet anniversary?
Speaker 9 (01:04:48):
Anniversary is it?
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
Really?
Speaker 11 (01:04:50):
Yeah this time last year was my first time coming.
Here oh, mg it's like we're in a long Distance.
Speaker 4 (01:04:59):
YEAH i am, Lad i'm. Latude nice start what's? Up
swoop you?
Speaker 11 (01:05:07):
Good i'm.
Speaker 4 (01:05:08):
Alive he's, alive all, RIGHT i. AM i am.
Speaker 11 (01:05:10):
Alive i'm. Here.
Speaker 5 (01:05:11):
Guys it's a good.
Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
Thing are you back with your?
Speaker 11 (01:05:12):
GIRLFRIEND i am in a, relationship, Dude, okay but it's
not this is the same. One, yeah this is the same.
One but the pot now IS i am, unemployed, GUYS
i am looking for a full time. Client client had
to let me. Go she was immensely, rich but she
can't afford me because the economy is. Trash so here we. Are, yeah, man,
(01:05:35):
YEAH i.
Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
Was are you insanely?
Speaker 11 (01:05:37):
Rich but, well even rich people are pinching their pockets right.
Speaker 9 (01:05:42):
Now.
Speaker 11 (01:05:42):
Man you, know if you want to be their personal,
chef you, know, YEAH i don't want. TO i don't
want to end up in that, situation you know WHAT i.
Mean but if you got ten k a, month, brother
holler at.
Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
Me you know What i'm.
Speaker 11 (01:05:56):
Saying we can make something. Happen don't punch.
Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
Me, yeah, okay so we yet me ask you that
question like people hear about celebrities with you, know personal.
Chefs what does that? Cost so for me my daily
maybe not even? You in? GENERAL i would.
Speaker 11 (01:06:12):
Say generally you are.
Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
ELITE i.
Speaker 11 (01:06:14):
AM i have a different tier price.
Speaker 4 (01:06:16):
Point, yes that's.
Speaker 11 (01:06:17):
Correct BUT i will say that the average private chef
these days would probably be making anywhere from five to
sixty five hundred a month from a client that they
work For monday Through. Friday how many? Meals so it
depends on what the client like.
Speaker 4 (01:06:37):
From for six thousand dollars a, month six thousand dollars.
Speaker 11 (01:06:41):
A, month they are probably gonna want breakfast in dinner
or lunch and. Dinner it'll be like two, meals you
know What i'm.
Speaker 5 (01:06:46):
Saying and then they pay for the food, too, right they.
Speaker 11 (01:06:49):
Cover the Food usually it depends on your relationship with your,
client but they would usually cover either you cover it
and they expense, you WHICH i, hate, yeah because then
it Like i'm using my money and it's caused issues
with me in the past because it's, like, dude just
give me the cards right in shocked because the last
THING i want to do is ask for my money
bag and then you're just like kind of pussy hooting,
(01:07:11):
me like, yeah and it's like NOW i feel weird
Because i'm asking for money in The i've already, paid
you know WHAT i. Mean so, Yeah so usually you
expend it or they give you a card and then
you know it's your labor. Travel it depends on how you.
Itemize like me, PERSONALLY i was kind of more of
an on an hourly daytime buy out thing because my
(01:07:31):
business hours start early and they end pretty much like
everyone else is around like three thirty four or, five
depending on what you.
Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
Do so for, me my.
Speaker 11 (01:07:40):
Last, CLIENT i still won't say who she is because
that's my dog AND i love her to, death but
she was paying me almost EIGHT k a. Month and
this was a sweet job because it was her and her,
husband a three year old and she was pregnant WHEN
i met her this time last, year so it was.
SWEET i was just doing lunch and dinner for, them
(01:08:00):
but plate, it SO i would have to plate everything
clean and then just like take take like a three hour,
break which was great BECAUSE i would just go play
golf or like go to the go to the beach
or like you know WHAT i, mean like smoke a
joint like, whatever and then i'd come back and plate
the dinner and clean and then.
Speaker 4 (01:08:21):
Go oh so so for six Hous i'm still trying to.
Understand so six thousand dollars covers just the, preparations so
that doesn't include the.
Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
Groceries it doesn't go they're gonna grocery shop on their own.
Regardless but then on top of, that, though like you
pay for like what do you mean? Travel like just.
Speaker 11 (01:08:41):
So for, me my client lived off Of, supulvida so
she was close To la x AND i was coming from.
Downtown so it's, like, fam you're gonna have to pad
them pockets for that for that. Travel so essentially what
it turned out to instead of me charging her for like.
Speaker 4 (01:08:59):
Completely my random, month it doesn't even include. Groceries you
could figure out how to get.
Speaker 11 (01:09:03):
It, Yeah, No so basically the WAY i itemized it
because ultimately our our relationship went from a business relationship
to like more like, homies you know WHAT i. Mean
LIKE i met her at a very critical time in
her life when she was growing a, baby you know
WHAT i, Mean she was very, vulnerable AND i was
making food to make sure that she was like energetic
enough to do the thing to be a, mom you
(01:09:24):
know WHAT i.
Speaker 10 (01:09:25):
MEAN i didn't Realize rosie o'donald was.
Speaker 11 (01:09:27):
Pregnant that makes.
Speaker 9 (01:09:30):
Sense because for the quality of the food and the
plating and. STUFF i did some quick math and it'd
be like one hundred and thirty ish bucks of meal.
Speaker 11 (01:09:39):
Essentially, yes, yeah load of, family you know.
Speaker 9 (01:09:44):
When you're kind of you, know evening everything.
Speaker 11 (01:09:46):
Now so, essentially they tried to give me a five
hundred dollars budget a week to. SHOP i told them
to cut that to three hundred and let me stretch
it because ultimately that turned into job security for me
BECAUSE i was saving them. Money you know, WHAT i.
Mean also they're very particular about. Quality SO i spent
a lot of time in the farmers', markets you know
(01:10:07):
WHAT i. Mean that's also a part of my, job
and creating these food, products like coming up with these
ideas and presenting it to them at the top of
the week in a, menu you know WHAT i. Mean
it's like so it's, like not only does it takes
the back end, work it's taking the time to do
that and then actually going and shopping and then you,
know actually you, know jumping around to all these different
places to find These the.
Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
Personal chef thing is one THING i never really fully,
Understood like how does that?
Speaker 11 (01:10:29):
Work are they living at your? House, yeah some of
them are. Living that's a DIFFERENT i had the option
to do that years ago With Ryan, coogler he Wrote
Black panther and all. That, yeah him And zimzi are beautiful.
Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
People imagine any point in your, Day, greg you just
GO i want whatever it. Is, yeah, yeah that would Be. Vaughn,
yeah that'd be, awesome.
Speaker 10 (01:10:52):
Amazing Vaughn morgan AND i we got to go To
Dana white's private, kitchen which is like just a door
on the side of his office and he has two
chefs in there and he had they had a set
menu for the day and he's, like.
Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
Yeah just whatever you.
Speaker 10 (01:11:05):
GUYS i swear there was like a censor because once
you opened the door to go into the kitchen like,
this the chef's just like, yeah like genies or.
Speaker 4 (01:11:16):
Something, WELL i gotta take a break and you gotta
start they aamuts. Man, yeah man got fresh ingredients that
are not being refrigerated right. Now he's got to get
to work on. Those like, SO i, mean you, know,
again just out of pure, curiosity like where do if
you're looking for the is there a personal chef website
like you go?
Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
To?
Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
Like uh?
Speaker 11 (01:11:32):
So there are several portals where chefs that have been
in that have been. Vetted can you? Know you? CAN
i have friends that are like LIKE i have one
of my. Homegirls she used to Be Low wayne's private,
chef so she's like locked in in like the Celebrity
private chef world where people will inquire about her. Availability, Essentially,
(01:11:55):
yes there are several different lists like that where you
can find chefs like me who will.
Speaker 4 (01:12:01):
Provide the service that you, well.
Speaker 10 (01:12:02):
Even air tasker who we work. With you can get a.
Chef was that, Right, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:12:08):
Because that'd BE i, mean, see that would BE i
think if we've talked about if you had all the
money in the, world what luxury would you. Want menace
would like to be driven, around Like menace would love
somebody else just do the. Driving that, way he can
just be on his phone napping or napping or nap
in the back of the car. Whatever that's pretty. Valid,
yeah what WOULD i think, DRIVERS i think having somebody
(01:12:28):
Like swoop that, way you can make sure that you
are eating. Healthy if that's not you're not in that
situation where it's just you're eating out of convenience and
eating stuff that you know you shouldn't, need and you're
not just interesting because you, know most people know how
to make like two or three things and then the
rest is just kind of filled in with like super basic,
stuff you, know so you get some, variety you're not
(01:12:50):
getting bored with eating the same crap all the.
Speaker 9 (01:12:51):
Time somebody to text us and, say Does Chef swoop
have a poor people? Tier asking for, myself so this is.
Speaker 11 (01:12:58):
The, thing you know What i'm, Saying, LIKE i do
it based on like your. BUDGET i usually ask clients
like what's your budget like and if you're, trying, like,
LIKE i have a meal prep client right now who
pays me two grand AND i do a lunch and
dinner and like prepackaged smoothies for. Him and he does
that for a, month you know WHAT i. Mean so
it's basically like twenty to twenty five dollars a. Meal, yeah,
(01:13:21):
so AND i charged him for the. Month he gives
me two grand at the top of every month and
then he just comes and picks up Every monday from him.
Speaker 4 (01:13:27):
From my lost, look, man can you can get more
information at Chef Underscore swoop that's on social media or media,
Man swoop kitchen dot. Com swoop kitchen dot. Com join
that mailing, list, man and if you got, questions you
can send them some.
Speaker 11 (01:13:42):
Stuff but you, KNOW i am here to a big
part of my job is also educating, clients not just.
Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
Cooking so. Nice it was a year ago that we
Had Swoop swoop come in for the first time because
for many many, years everybody around here is joked about
how we should get an omelet. Station it was our,
time So i'm, like all, right, well let's let's get some.
Omelets And vaughan is friends With chef's swoop and he, goes,
HEY i got the, guy and then we we met
you and here we are one year, late year, later year,
(01:14:08):
Later happy. Anniversary, yeah we're gonna take a, break we'll come.
Back we've got fail. Stories those will be. Next and
THEN i got something ELSE i want you involved in, here.
Speaker 5 (01:14:18):
Swoop cooking myths well.
Speaker 4 (01:14:22):
From somebody actually knows what they're talking about, here things
that you know Because I'M i know how to make.
Stuff but then you hear, about, oh well you're supposed
to x Y. Z it's like not necessarily true or you, know.
Speaker 11 (01:14:33):
You can debunk some stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:14:34):
Correct AND i Know greg loves to, get loves to.
Speaker 5 (01:14:37):
Cook, right there's a raging debates on. That you put
oil and we'll get to it. Later put oil in
your pasta? Water do you rinse off? Chickens stuff like.
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
That let's let's have at.
Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
It.
Speaker 4 (01:14:46):
Right the meantime you get to work on these. Omelets.
PLEASE i smell. SOMETHING i can't tell exactly What i'm,
smelling and there's cakes and feeling we're doing.
Speaker 6 (01:14:55):
IT i feel what you.
Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
Show, well we have two strong weeks in a row
with The Friday fail. Singer so much pressure and we

Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
Fail.
Speaker 6 (01:16:09):
Sorry all these people thought they had the perfect, plan
the plan that.
Speaker 4 (01:16:14):
Can never go. Wrong Within somewhere along the, line it
went from being a great idea so one big stinking.
Speaker 20 (01:16:20):
Mega uber ultra, GUYS i tell.
Speaker 4 (01:16:36):
You, DUDE i, Mean, SAM i don't, Know. Junior you're
pretty quiet over. There what's what what are you? THINKING
i liked, It oh, no it.
Speaker 9 (01:16:46):
Was, solid BUT i mean the last couple of weeks
it was like the angels.
Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
Were shut your, mouth.
Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
Stripe it was so, good, Right i'm living.
Speaker 12 (01:16:57):
It.
Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
Yeah the first fail, story this From florida twenty four
year old, dude was that a red, light a motorcycle
pulled up next to. Him biker starts revving his, engine
the guy reps his, engine and they took off and
they raced. Nice hell, yeah well not too far up the.
Road watching all of this unfold was a police. Officer
(01:17:22):
he clocked the guy with the bike doing one hundred
and forty miles an, hour the car doing one hundred
and twenty four mile an. Hour, jeez he wasn't able
to catch the, bike but he did catch the, car
pulled it. Over the driver had no, license which not
a great, start and when the cop asked him why
he was going so, fast the driver, said it's because peer.
Speaker 1 (01:17:44):
Pressure, poop he has to, go has to, go.
Speaker 5 (01:17:47):
Peer pressure that he had to race the motorcycle guy
first of, All.
Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
Pier he was.
Speaker 10 (01:17:51):
Scared, yeah he had to go catch the motorcycle because
he touched the.
Speaker 4 (01:17:54):
Motorcycle.
Speaker 13 (01:17:55):
Yeah, yeah he wants to see how fast he could,
go And gina is the.
Speaker 4 (01:17:57):
Winner he used the, classic he had to use THE.
Bam now the. Cops this is when the cop pointed
out that there were several gas stations that he passed
at one hundred and twenty four miles an hour that
he could have just stopped that if he had to
use the. Bathroom so. Bad so he was, arrested charged
with driving without a, license excessive, speed and. Racing taken
to fail, jail WHICH i think In florida don't they
(01:18:20):
have they automatically take the? License? RIGHT i believe there's
something with if it's over one hundred miles an hour.
Speaker 13 (01:18:29):
Reckless.
Speaker 4 (01:18:30):
Driving, yeah it's something, automatically it's. All, yeah it's new,
law newer law on the books there.
Speaker 5 (01:18:35):
Anyway driving over one hundred In florida is a criminal,
offense often leading to immediate, arrest, handcuffing mandatory. Court, yeah
and under recent, laws going one hundred plus is a
criminal misdemeanor up to thirty days in.
Speaker 4 (01:18:46):
Jail. Right here's one From atlanta with this. Guy he
was chilling at the airport and all of a sudden
he found himself surrounded BY Us customs. Agents they took
him to the inspection. Station they pulled the two suitcases
that he had checked at the counter. With he arrived
inside a bunch of vacuum sealed bags filled with forty
two pounds of.
Speaker 11 (01:19:06):
Weed oh a lot of, weed.
Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
Dumb, ass break me.
Speaker 10 (01:19:09):
Off you.
Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
Hear about these, People it's, like, dude they got weed
where you're, going even if it's like, smaller more personal use.
Amounts but airport security doesn't matter what your state is
and how they look at the marijuana. Thing federal still.
Illegal why are you risking?
Speaker 5 (01:19:28):
This? WELL i know why because they probably saw the Movie,
blow which inspired me so.
Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
Much BUT i could probably do that and the forty two.
Speaker 10 (01:19:37):
Pounds, YEAH i was just doing afraid BECAUSE i was
flying out Of miami AND i was at an event
where they gave me a bunch of the LIQUID iv,
stuff you, know it's like, powder and they gave me
like a trash bag full of, it AND i, go,
Dude i'm gonna get stopped at airport and they're gonna think
this is. Cocaine it was wrapped like a like a cocaine,
bag like a Ki.
Speaker 4 (01:19:56):
Low, well they'll test it like they do in the.
Movies they'll put a little bit on their fing and
then rub it on their gums and then give like
a head nod to their to their. Partner were. Good
it was to say this guy did make his. Flight
he was arrested charge of traffick and taking to fail.
Jail Sales Half assed robbery in the. News this is From.
(01:20:18):
Missouri two. Broads we're looking to get some money, quick
so decided to rob a bar and they thought it
would be. Easy the place they chose was a place
called the Half Ass. Bar they went in after, hours
they broke into the. Safe they stole one of these
cash to coin exchange. Machines they tried to break into
THE atm that was there in the. Bar security cameras of,
course caught, everything including the car that they had rolled up,
(01:20:39):
in and when the owner of the half ass bar
looked through the, footage he recognized one of the women
it was his own. Daughter so the cops caught them both.
Chicks they had some fentanyl and some meth on them as.
Well both sent off to fail. Jail so much for
that easy. Money what, shit. Idiot and, uh this is
(01:21:02):
one of my favorite stories of the. Week it's From
mexico where this guy had just committed a burglary and
as he was making his, getaway he tried to sneak
through his metal, fence but he got his head caught
in the. Railing, yeah so some people saw him trying
to wiggle his head, out so they went over there
and they held him in the railing while they called
(01:21:22):
the cops to come get. Him so he was like
in the head. Handcuffs the officers had to cut him
out of, there, like get him loose out of, there you,
know get the other people out there to cut it. Out,
yeah he was, arrested taken to fail. Jail sales there
you go, there Sure friday fail. Stories Chef swoop is. Here,
(01:21:43):
yes he's got the first. Homelin what oh is this
like A holidays kind of thing on? Top what do you?
Speaker 11 (01:21:49):
Got so look at, that very very standard feeling. Onions
didn't want to get too crazy BECAUSE i know we
have a picky. People but the money went into the.
Cheese this is a smoked greuyere cheddar. Blend and THEN
(01:22:09):
i Made. HOLIDAYS i don't even want to know.
Speaker 9 (01:22:14):
What's in The holidays because it's so good and if
there's SOMETHING i don't like Or i'm scared, OF i
don't want to ruin.
Speaker 4 (01:22:18):
It very.
Speaker 11 (01:22:19):
Simple it's super but egg, yolks lemon, juice, salt acidulated.
Water so it's just like lemon juice that you add
to like some water and hot. Sauce OH i love. It,
YEAH i actually ADD i forgot the hot. SAUCE i
added it here they had.
Speaker 4 (01:22:37):
Some of, course we have some hot pot in the right.
Speaker 5 (01:22:42):
Right all, right, well.
Speaker 4 (01:22:42):
Chefs swoop is here preparing some. Omelets what's up with
what's going down in so? Sports Were jeff G, Hey Happy,
Friday jeff G, Morning Happy.
Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
Friday what do you?
Speaker 17 (01:22:57):
Show let's start with The lakers they played bad last,
night got a good game From Austin, reeves but once,
again it wasn't.
Speaker 4 (01:23:03):
Enough they lost to The thunder by.
Speaker 17 (01:23:05):
Eighteen and after the, game something Happened i'd never seen.
Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Before listen to This.
Speaker 5 (01:23:09):
Sam The lakers wanted to spend a little extra time
with the officials before heading to the locker.
Speaker 17 (01:23:16):
Room the Entire lakers team surrounded the rests and let

Speaker 4 (01:24:35):
Did this A Mike Rabel Diana rossini story just keeps
getting better and better and better and. Better Mike raybol of,
course for now the head coach of The New England.
Patriots Diana rossini was a journalist reporter for the. Athletics
she's no. Longer she stepped down from her, positi which
is always. DUMB i GUESS i understand because they have
(01:24:57):
to have some kind of, integrity like if it was
just to an, affair but it wasn't with AN nfl
head coach when you're the, athletic, right and that's their
business part of.
Speaker 6 (01:25:06):
IT i.
Speaker 4 (01:25:06):
Understand but, yeah it's her husband fables.
Speaker 10 (01:25:11):
Winning, Streak like what kind Of.
Speaker 4 (01:25:13):
Well he's a newer he's new with The. Patriots he
was with The Tennessee. Titans yeah for a. While even
he's a good. Coach he did well with The patriots
this past. Year, ANYWAY i. Don't, LOOK i don't think
the guy should lose his.
Speaker 10 (01:25:25):
JOB i mean it's The patriots.
Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
TOO i mean his, marriage that's a different.
Speaker 4 (01:25:29):
Story.
Speaker 10 (01:25:30):
Owners the owners have done a couple of. Things so but,
this but.
Speaker 4 (01:25:34):
This, DUDE i mean this, girl how did you deal
with her for more than five? Minutes she is one
of those. People it's like. Fentanyl oh, Yeah like she
might be, Fun like a little bit of her might be,
fun but a little too much will kill. You she's human.
Fentanyl every time you hear these, clips it's, like oh my,
god this chick and the. Husband why is the husband hanging?
Speaker 5 (01:25:57):
Around?
Speaker 4 (01:25:58):
Yeah you?
Speaker 10 (01:25:59):
Love there are some.
Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Thoughts there are some thoughts like you, know maybe he's
gay and not interested in her, sexually and so that's
why she's out there stepping out or, whatever like, WHAT
i don't, know why are? You why are you putting
up with this person who's ON? Tv we played all
those different comments she had. Made now this is another
clip that has just, surfaced and she was playing this
(01:26:21):
family feud style game With barstool AND i Guess Mike
rabel was also part of. This and here's the. Thing, Okay,
diana what is something you might close your eyes to
do when you have sex with your husband or?
Speaker 5 (01:26:33):
Wife again this is From, yeah she, answered it's. Done
you have to take the answer.
Speaker 4 (01:26:43):
Any. Opportunity she had a dog on her. Husband that's
all she. Does and then there was another THING i
saw where Apparently Mike rabel has A burner account and
so he's been responding to a lot of the people
who've been giving opinions about the whole thing With Diana.
Rossini and it was, Like Mike master was the name
on The burner? Account is it actually his? Account not,
(01:27:05):
confirmed but it's somebody being very defensive as a lot
of These homers for The, patriots you, Know Homer patriot.
Fans they're they're Defending Mike rabel and. Whatever but it
is pretty funny when you look at the, uh when
you look at when you look at the responses to
the different to the different. Posts he, says you, Bitch.
Speaker 5 (01:27:25):
OKAY i don't know if he should lose his, job
BUT i think he could because it's incredibly.
Speaker 4 (01:27:30):
Distracted sure he, could but, again this is not between
him and his. Employer this is between him and his, wife.
Speaker 5 (01:27:37):
Right but it's she could fire. Him it's spilled over
into the professional.
Speaker 13 (01:27:42):
World it is, distracting BUT i don't think he'll loses.
Speaker 10 (01:27:44):
Job it's not distracting from. Players players are doing that
all day.
Speaker 4 (01:27:47):
Too here's here's WHAT i don't like About but here's
WHAT i don't like about. IT i don't like it
when there starts to be this call for him to
lose his, job because why why are you so LIKE
i don't like cheaters. Either, again if you are not
happy in a, relationship break up with the, person you
can go do whatever you, want like sack, up, right
and you, know man up and break up and then
(01:28:08):
go do whatever you, want. Right but when people start
making these calls for you, know someone to lose their.
Job this is not it wasn't a relationship with you
has nothing to do with their.
Speaker 5 (01:28:16):
Job, normally NORMALLY i wouldn't even give it a second
thought to some sort of celebrity affair. Thing but the
recent photos Of Mike rabel's wife walking through an, AIRPORT
i felt so bad for. Her she looked just bummed,
out and the husband, too yeah, yeah oh.
Speaker 4 (01:28:30):
Yeah and then whoever was behind that burner account deleted
it because like once it was, like oh Does mike're
able to have a burner? Account it was, deleted which
doesn't look good as far as it like not being his.
Speaker 5 (01:28:42):
Right because if it, wasn't you'd be. There but what
a what a great.
Speaker 4 (01:28:45):
Story that story just keeps getting better for.
Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
Everybody wind makes everything, worse, hot, uncomfortable but. Worse, okay,
green but win.
Speaker 4 (01:29:05):
Show thanks to the folks who stopped By Red lobster last.
Night it was super. IMPROMPTU i had. THIS i had
this thought AS i was leaving the radio station, yesterday
and thank god it turned out this. WAY i was so.
Worried i'm, like, man maybe we should have Given Red
lobster the heads up Because i'm, thinking like from a
(01:29:28):
from an employee, Standpoint like when all of a, sudden
it's like way more people than what you're. Expecting BUT
i gotta say like the, people the, employees they were so,
nice were, fast. Happy the guy who ended up being
our our, waiter, yeah super. Nice. Yeah like and the
endless shrimp was. Great oh my, god and it truly
(01:29:49):
Cheddar bay. BISCUITS i hadn't had those in a. While
those were so.
Speaker 9 (01:29:53):
Good and we had one listener with Us, odell.
Speaker 5 (01:29:57):
Who oh he was putting it. Away he was there
to beat the.
Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
House of the. Restaurant he was there to beat the
house so much. Fun we didn't even announce it until yesterday,
morning what time and everything it was going to be
and where it was going to. Be we only mentioned
a handful of. Times SO i WAS i was VERY
i was very pleased with you, know it just said we,
want we want more opportunities to be able to just
to like spend some. Time The disney thing is, great
(01:30:21):
and those are those events are so big and there's
so many people you don't really get an opportunity to
sit there and chop it.
Speaker 9 (01:30:27):
Up and we got to know so many people one on.
Speaker 11 (01:30:29):
One it was.
Speaker 4 (01:30:30):
Awesome there's one couple, there just like our own. Bar,
yeah there was a. There that one couple That gina
offered to babysit.
Speaker 9 (01:30:37):
Baby, LOGAN i love.
Speaker 4 (01:30:38):
You his couple showed up with this this baby boy and.
Speaker 1 (01:30:41):
He was out.
Speaker 4 (01:30:42):
Clothing, yeah and Then gina's like.
Speaker 9 (01:30:45):
No they offered and.
Speaker 4 (01:30:47):
The kid was, asleep, yeah and all of a sudden woke,
up Saw gina and. Free that's WHAT i.
Speaker 9 (01:30:52):
SAID i, said are you sure you want to give
me this baby because if he wakes, up he's going
to lose his Ish and he, did but he was
So and when they're all like hot and sweaty and they're, sleeping, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:31:03):
Well, again thanks to everybody who popped. By there were
a lot of people who like came in said hi
because they're on their way. Somewhere hey heard her by
this last. Second, Again i'm sorry for the last second,
thing but again it was all in an effort not
to really overwhelm a place that had no idea that
we were. Coming But endless Shrimp man goes to the twenty.
FOURTH i did confirm it goes Until, sunday the twenty,
(01:31:24):
fourth and Then greg figured out there is a red
lobster by his. House oh, WHAT i googled. It it's
about probably three and a half miles, away is?
Speaker 17 (01:31:33):
It?
Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
Yeah but It?
Speaker 4 (01:31:34):
Tarzana is it Considered tarzana considered?
Speaker 2 (01:31:37):
Park?
Speaker 5 (01:31:37):
Yeah not too far, now all, right so yeah we
could we should do another.
Speaker 4 (01:31:40):
One. Yeah, well well we're gonna be every red. Lobster
we have no shortage of. Ideas there's always things that
we talk about doing or. Whatever and we know we're
doing some. Things that's gonna make execution a lot easier
of getting things done and making sure that they don't
fall through the. Cracks and you, know it's gonna it's
gonna be. Good it's gonna be. Good eight, seven seven forty.
(01:32:01):
Four he sent us a text over to two two
nine eight seven.
Speaker 2 (01:32:06):
Show NOW i.
Speaker 4 (01:32:07):
Feel like an. Idiot he swoop before you start, anymore.
Amlesten Chef swoop is. Here by the, way everybody swoop
hellove bottom uh swoop kitchen dot. Com it's s W
O p kitchen dot com at chef underscore swoop on.
Uh on social, media so we have some some bs cooking.
(01:32:31):
Myths so you, know, people we talked to one guy
at our event and this guy, man he's in the
wrong line of. Business he makes his own. Sushi he
was showing us pictures Of god.
Speaker 10 (01:32:41):
And it looked like a restaurant when he first showed. It,
LITERALLY i was, like, yeah, oh what restaurant is?
Speaker 4 (01:32:46):
That, Yeah i'm, like, dude what are you doing for a? Living? Yeah,
ANYWAY i love, that and we we hear it the
from a lot of. People greg's always talking about things
that he's, making and, yeah a lot of people like.
That so these these are some things that are that
are out there that people do that maybe you should be.
Doing but we'll get an expert's. Opinion, yeah let's talk about.
It let's talk about these omelets, Though, So, greg what
do you think you're the best at DESCRIBING.
Speaker 5 (01:33:07):
I, mean the thing THAT i think is an overused
phrase in describing food is melts in your. Mouth but
these truly melt in your. Mouth, yeah they're really good
melt in your mouth omelet perfect, texture, smooth, silky not
chewy by any. Means and then WHAT i love about
The hollandais sauce is that it's. INDESCRIBABLE i don't know
(01:33:27):
if THERE'S i know there's, lemon but there's some flavor
in there THAT I i love a food THAT i
don't know What i'm, eating BUT i KNOW i love.
IT i think it might have been the hint of
lemon or the hot, sauce like the hot.
Speaker 11 (01:33:38):
Sauce the hot sauce is definitely like you, know some
people use hot, sauce some people use. Tabasco depends on
who your chef was that taught you how to make not.
Overwhelming it's just perfect balance everything.
Speaker 5 (01:33:50):
And then when you're like chives on, anything it makes it.
Speaker 4 (01:33:52):
Beautiful, yeah this is textbook.
Speaker 11 (01:33:57):
Fermagechees, Okay, okay there's a question for some of you.
Speaker 4 (01:34:03):
Chefs i'll go to a PLACE i look at the.
MENU i don't know what any of this crap is
and then you ask, me, go, oh well that's a
steak and there's some green be harra cott. Verts yeah
what is that how you say? It, Yeah harritt.
Speaker 9 (01:34:20):
Viewers.
Speaker 4 (01:34:22):
I'm so fancy, Though, Yeah, like why do you make
it so that the average person can't read? It?
Speaker 11 (01:34:27):
Well you know for me what it. IS i know
a lot of people do the you, KNOW i think
the standard for fine dining is you, Know, french like Classical,
french you know WHAT i? Mean, so, Uh unfortunately a
lot of people don't Speak. French like my lick back is.
UH i Put swahili on my menus from time to,
(01:34:48):
time so whenever we have diners that are from the
mountains of caucas they can struggle through The swahili the
same way we struggle through The, french you, know.
Speaker 9 (01:35:00):
A.
Speaker 4 (01:35:00):
Tukus it reminds me of that clip WITH i Think
i've seen that Movie Crazy Little. Guy oh, man what's his?
Name crazy Little? Guy, no the uh he was on
With Shannon sharp talked smack about everybody made all these.
Speaker 10 (01:35:16):
Predictables are you talking About, Williams.
Speaker 11 (01:35:18):
Cat, williams that's the Crazy, yeah, yeah he is a
crazy he is shout out the. Cat he is a crazy.
Man he is a tiny. Man he is he is
a powerful.
Speaker 4 (01:35:27):
Man remember that the movie he's behind bars and the
woman brings the that's a white baby from the mountains of.
Speaker 11 (01:35:34):
The mountains Of. Caucus, indeed, yes.
Speaker 4 (01:35:36):
Maybe he's got a seven to fifty credits call sitting.
Speaker 5 (01:35:38):
Here, yeah, man so that's not what the Name Cat,
williams that's.
Speaker 11 (01:35:44):
Yeah so that's WHY i do this. Swey from time to,
time we'll Put swaheli on the. Menu we'll put things like.
That it's easy for black and brown people to pronounce,
it but not so easy for The.
Speaker 4 (01:35:53):
And that's how you like, it, right because you, KNOW i.
Speaker 11 (01:35:55):
Don't necessarily say, that but it's like from time to
TIME i will try to get my look back like.
This this industry is dominated by Classical european And french
and you, know all.
Speaker 4 (01:36:04):
Right so these are some cooking. Myths what is a
common cooking rule that everyone? Follows but is it? Complete bs?
Man we'll see what Chef swoop says here because they
talk to. Chefs, yeah and we'll see. It oil in pasta, Water,
greg you were bringing this up very. Contentious oil in
pasta water doesn't keep the pasta from sticking.
Speaker 11 (01:36:23):
It it does.
Speaker 5 (01:36:23):
NOT i don't know why anybody would do. That it's
just like you gotta look at it like, this all.
Right so if you're a, kid right and you're in
the kitchen with your, grandma and your grandma has these
old wives tales that she's just adhere to because it's
just like muscle, memory old, timing she might not necessarily
know why she's putting a splash of olive oil in the.
Water you know What i'm, saying but if it just
(01:36:45):
completes her cipher in the, kitchen it makes her feel,
good then she's doing. It and if you're a kid
and you see your grandma do, it you're not gonna question.
It you're gonna do, it you know What i'm. Saying,
yeah it's just like, subconsciously these are the types of
These this is the way that these myths come to.
Speaker 11 (01:37:00):
Wish you know What i'm. Saying what about this?
Speaker 4 (01:37:01):
One searing meat to seal in the juice is a total.
Myth searing is, great just not for that. REASON i would.
Speaker 11 (01:37:10):
Say searing is great to build like my yard or
like a crust on the outside of a protein or. Anything,
rather BUT i don't think it's necessarily ceiling in, moisture
you know What i'm, Saying like that has to do more.
Speaker 4 (01:37:25):
Steak when it's, resting it still will you know WHAT i,
Mean it's still get those the puddle of the.
Speaker 11 (01:37:31):
Juice, yeah it's resting. Steak and just the quality characteristic
is just ultimately how long you cook a piece of
meat or anything to maintain the moisture.
Speaker 9 (01:37:39):
Quality, okay seer or reverse or does it?
Speaker 11 (01:37:42):
Matter, OH i, mean it just depends on for. Me
what's a Reverse, yeah so ribbi like, bones like like,
Tomahawks i'll reverse. Her i'll start those in the oven
and Then i'll pull them and sear them to just
get a good sea on the, outside Because I'm i'm
starting them in a hot oven and then dropping the,
temperature letting them cook to their degree of, dundas pulling
(01:38:04):
them and then searing.
Speaker 4 (01:38:05):
This right, now how far? Out how far out do
you remove from the oven to seer because the seer
is still going to bring the temperature.
Speaker 11 (01:38:12):
Up, Now yes and, no but it's like a finishing.
Thing but, saying like.
Speaker 4 (01:38:15):
From the, oven do you go directly to the seerra
does it rest before then you see?
Speaker 11 (01:38:19):
It so you, do screaming hot, oven you go in
and then you drop. It you let it go for a,
while and then you drop the temperature and you still
leave it in the. Oven, Okay so that's literally cooking
the to your degree of, dundas whether you want it
to be, medium rare or. Whatever so you pull it
in hard Seer i'm talking cast iron or like a
screeching hot, grill you know What i'm, Saying just to
(01:38:41):
get the finish on the outside that you, want like
you take.
Speaker 4 (01:38:44):
It out and you put the seer onto it that
which is over Then.
Speaker 11 (01:38:47):
Yeah but like you want to you kind of want
to go under your degree of dundans when you're doing
a reverser, anyway because you are going to continue to
cook and then carry on cook after the meat is done.
Speaker 4 (01:38:56):
Cooking myths with chefs. Swoop fresh veggies taste, better but
frozen veggies are healthier for. You fresh veggies are picked
prematurely and ripen while in transit and in. Storage frozen
veggies are the last picked of the season and they've
ripened on the.
Speaker 11 (01:39:11):
Vine i'm gonna say that that's a lot of, fluff, Fam,
like if you want fresh, vegetable if you want, FRESH i, mean,
LOOK i can say something slick, Too. Bro sometimes cucumbers
taste better. Pickled Like that's just that was just, confusing
you know What i'm. Saying it's just, Like, bro go
to the farmer's market if you want fresh. Produce it's
as simple as. That the freshest produce comes from the it's.
(01:39:34):
Farm that's why they call it farm to. Table, yeah
any processes in between free, flash, freezing you know WHAT
i mean if you're trying to hold stuff, great but
like it's not going to make the nutritional value of
set vegetable increase from flash. Freezing like how like how
it makes? Sense all?
Speaker 4 (01:39:53):
Right washing chicken has no. Benefit you kill all the
bacteria when you cook. It some people like to wash the.
Speaker 11 (01:39:59):
Chicken So I'm I'M i come from A caribbean, Household
so we use vinegar on. Chicken that's like store, boughted
you know What i'm, saying to give it a good.
Rint sometimes lemon or, lime like if you have lemons
and limes up, though they're like rub it on the
skin and it's just like there's just some things on
THE i feel like SOMETIMES i can tell the difference
(01:40:20):
between when people clean their chicken when they. Don't, really
but it's not like, A i think that's just Because
i've been in the industry so. Long you, Know i'm
going on twenty years doing. This so it's like those small,
things the qualities very very you can barely tell that
like a minute day.
Speaker 4 (01:40:40):
Yace you know about what about like throwing? It, Yea
let's just say like you were gonna make. It let's
say you were going to try to make some chicken
for somebody you were hoping to be your girlfriend some,
point and you left it in the sink.
Speaker 5 (01:40:51):
Overnight, yeah so this is from. Frozen so, like for,
example we have the process here, right like you just, right, yeah,
yeah all, Right So I'm i'm picking up what you're putting.
Down all, right you gotta chick coming. Over It's, saturday,
right so It's.
Speaker 11 (01:41:08):
Friday you pull it, out you pull it out of the,
freezer you throw it in what the in the? Evening
you know WHAT i, mean like before you go to,
bed all.
Speaker 4 (01:41:15):
Right for. Show you'll leave it there even when you
go to work the next.
Speaker 11 (01:41:19):
Day oh, yeah, no you're wilding for. Respect you gotta
you gotta all right, overnight so we're gonna get at
least what let's say you got eight hours of. Sleep
it's gonna slowly thaw in the sink because your, Sink
i'm assuming is like stainless, steel so it's going to
hold the. Cold you know WHAT i. Mean put it
in the fridge when you wake, up, bro don't just leave.
(01:41:40):
It but, YEAH i, mean, like, yeah most people already
have a built up gut from eating like animal proteins, anyway,
Regardless so it's like the chances of you getting sick from.
That you're pretty frail if you get sick from leaving chicken,
out even if you were to go to work and come, back, like,
yeah your immune system is like, Week like you should
(01:42:01):
just go like liquid door knob or, something step it.
Up but like, YEAH i would say that that like
put it in the. Fridge but you'll be. Fine you
know What i'm. Saying as long as you touch it
and it's still cold to, touch you're.
Speaker 4 (01:42:12):
Good.
Speaker 5 (01:42:13):
Yeah the WAY i grew up with it is my
mom said anything over twelve is, bad but under twelve is. Fine.
Speaker 11 (01:42:19):
HOURS i, MEAN i mean how many how many siblings
did you grow up?
Speaker 2 (01:42:23):
With?
Speaker 11 (01:42:23):
Five your mom was? Overworked fam twelve? Hours twelve hours
is pushing it to the.
Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
All, right so bs cooking, miss what do you think
your chef's? Whoop you don't need to be afraid OF.
Msg it does nothing to you and makes everything taste.
Speaker 11 (01:42:39):
BETTER msg occurs like naturally in a lot of food.
Products you know What i'm. Saying so people that are
like Eight chinese food and THERE'S msg and giving me a,
headache shut, up you know What i'm, Saying like, stop,
stop it's a flavor, enhancer you, know and nobody's using
so much that it's going to deteriorate your health. Instantly
(01:43:01):
like you really got to like put on your thinking
cap Fam like you know What i'm. SAYING i USE
msg and small like cheese sauces to just make it
taste like like what like you know WHAT i, Mean
it's just like it's, yeah it's just like a boost
of umami, exactly like, Cucumbers, yeah, yeah cucumber salads and
stuff like, that just to add like a Nice it's
like just what you were speaking on. Earlier it's like
(01:43:22):
there's a quality in here that you can't necessarily put
your finger. On it's USUALLY, msg you know.
Speaker 4 (01:43:27):
What so cooking myth there is no ten minute. Meal
the shortest meal takes about thirty minutes to.
Speaker 11 (01:43:33):
Make, Uh i'm gonna say that's cap, too you know
What i'm. Saying, yeah you can make a lot of
stuff pretty. Quick you feel me LIKE i. COULD i
mean maybe it's just, me but it's like ten minutes
you can Make you can make something shake like you
know What i'm. SAYING i, mean you could make you
could make like Sloppy Joe's you could make like a
like a local. Mocho like if you start your potter
(01:43:53):
rice and your patties at the same, time put an
egg in the patty in a pan at the same
time with your burger, patty and it's, like all, right
now a burger Pant he's, Done your rice is done
being being. Done that can literally take like ten. Minutes
you know What i'm.
Speaker 4 (01:44:04):
Saying the only knife skill the average person needs is
just to learn how to properly hold one so you
have better control over.
Speaker 11 (01:44:10):
IT i am going to agree with, That like abs
in use are important in the. Kitchen it's like one
of the things that's pretty much slept. On you gotta
know how to hold a. Knife if you, don't you're
definitely gonna.
Speaker 9 (01:44:20):
CUT i don't know if this class, exists But i've
always wanted to take a cutting, class like culinary.
Speaker 11 (01:44:24):
Cutting yeah that, knife like how to, slice how to?
Speaker 4 (01:44:27):
Dice yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:44:27):
NICE i always wanted to learn from a.
Speaker 11 (01:44:29):
Professional, yeah nine skills are a, thing BUT i don't
know how often you'd Be it's not like you can
go on groupon and be, like, Hey i'm to slice.
Tomato it, exists BUT i want to do. It, YEAH
i MEAN i might have to go ahead and lock
in on.
Speaker 9 (01:44:40):
That that would be antand like y'all trying to.
Speaker 11 (01:44:42):
Learn how to cut some stuff without cutting some.
Speaker 4 (01:44:43):
Stuff, yes no matter how thin you slice, it garlic
will not liquify in a. Pan.
Speaker 11 (01:44:49):
Um, yeah that's that is that's pretty, valid you know
What i'm. Saying even minced, Garlic i'm not going to
say that it. Liquifies but like depending on how much,
fat like whether it's oil or butter in your, pan
it's just gonna like continue to crisp up and like
it'll like stick to the bottom of your. Pan it'll
like turn into Fun it'll it'll, burn you know WHAT i.
Mean like it won't. Liquify you have to add other
(01:45:11):
things to the, pan for for onions or like, onions
onions will sweat their natural sugars and moisture and that
Will like if your garlic is fine, enough it'll.
Speaker 5 (01:45:20):
Liquify it does, liquefy and it's underrated and people are
afraid and it's cool to hate. It anchoviies those.
Speaker 11 (01:45:26):
YEAH i Love anchovy the unsung. Heroes yeah they. Are
and it's LIKE i think a lot of people you'd
be surprised where anchovys get to knock in in, restaurants
but like most most.

Like pasta, places tell, me SO i can avoid. It, well,
well so they just.
Speaker 11 (01:45:41):
Add like a, salinity like a quality to the food
that's just like it's it's it's what you would call.
Speaker 2 (01:45:49):
What.
Speaker 11 (01:45:49):
Else, Yeah well they could go in, sauces you know
WHAT i, Mean like if you get Like i've had
like a like a clams like a white wine clams
kind of, thing and And i've seen pants get started
with garlic and.
Speaker 4 (01:46:04):
Anchovies, YEAH i think if you're having clams anchovies not so,
much but like if you're, not just if you're just
not like a seafood, person LIKE i don't need, it,
yeah LIKE i just want the caesar, salad you know
WHAT i. Mean, yeah BUT i mean a real you
know What i'm.
Speaker 11 (01:46:16):
SAYING i think THAT i think that anchovies they have their,
place but, uh you're not going to find them like,
Everywhere but LIKE i would, say like seafood based pasta
sauces and things like, that they. Might that seems reason
depending on what type Of italian restaurant you're, At like
(01:46:37):
you know What i'm. Saying, Regionally i'll.
Speaker 4 (01:46:39):
Give you one more then we gotta take a. Break all.

mushrooms and you know What i'm, saying like they just kind,
of know you're, saying just kind of. Bubble just wipe
them with a, yeah like some of, them Like i'll
take the stem out And i'll scrape the inside of
like portobellos and.
Speaker 4 (01:47:11):
