FedExing some cars? I bought them. I bought them on Wednesday.
I bought them on Wednesday, and then uh, Wednesday night,
I meant to have my kids fill them out so
I can get them off to my mom, and stuff
forgot forgot. So it was it was last night. They're
filling everything out and then today I will FedEx them.

Do your parents ow it's more than the gifts?

They always get a little card in one of those
big FedEx envelopes. Is that like usually what happens.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Well, so there's a card for me, there's a card
from each one of the kids. So that's three that
goes to my mom. It's got like a gift card
in there and stuff like that, and then we'll send
you know, flowers or something like that. But it's yeah,
just regular FedEx envelope. It's not a big envelope, just
like a yeah, regular FedEx. The same thing will happen
again next year, that's right. But also I had to
send one out to my to my step mother cards

and whatever. It was one for the kids. Yeah, So
that's today Okay, there's my Friday check in. That's what
I'm doing.

I'm all about Amazon gifts. So you already have their
address in there anything and they just selects something and
just sends it to them.

So that's that's fine. It's the card part because my
mom my mom loves cards more than anything, especially when
you write the note.

Yeah, Well, Mother's Day is this weekend. I was reading
this thing. It says it's time to nail down the
gifts that you'll give to thank the moms in your
life for doing what mostly is the most thankless job
of all. Blah blah blah blah blah. People keep coming
back to brunches, flowers, and bathrobes a year after year.
But they did ask moms what's the number one thing

that they want from their partner or from their kids
for Mother's Day? And that is free time, to time
alone or something like that. Yeah, some others may not
even remember what that is since it's been so long,
so they've had some but yeah, like close to sixty
percent of mom say they just want to be able
to drop everything and do nothing at all.

Yeah sounds good.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, but then who's going to have a dinner ready.

Yeah yeah, wow, yeah yeah.

I mean who's going to make sure the kids have
their homework done and are ready for their bags? Then
how are they supposed to get to soccer practice? Another
four to two percent would just love some time to themselves,
not looking to be treated like a queen as much.
You know, just like to read or watch a movie
or to you know, work on something.

It would be nice.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Yeah, but I mean, you know, because a lot of
people are working too. You got two working parents, It's
not like they're just sitting around all day the kids
are at school, because that's that's the one thing. Okay,
when you have to stay at home mom and the
kids are off at school all day, that is your
free time.

Lucky. I don't have that, I know, nce and quiet.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I don't have that time. I guess as the dad
who works, I don't have this big chunk of my
day where there's absolutely whatever I want to do or
need to do. There's there's nothing that's.

Still stuff to get done. You need to do the
long you need to grocery shopping. Where do you think
she's getting the food to cook your dinner?

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Yes, I'm the one that does the grocery shopping by
the way.

Following you around, asking you a million questions.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yeah, like if you need an hour to read, you
could sit and read for an hour. The kids are
at school all day long, right, grocery shopping takes twenty minutes. Yeah,
if you're a working mom, okay, and then you're doing
a lot of the mom stuff. Okay, fine, I get it.
You want that free time. But if you if you
are the person who drops the kids off and then
you got the day until three point thirty, Like, dude,

that is that's your free that's your free time.

It sounds like you're throwing out all these problems but
no care to solve them.

And there's not problems, there's just things to do.

Yeah, but you know, yeah, don't solve the problem.

This basically be surprising if you've never taken care of
small children children, or if it's been so long you've
forgotten what it's like. But tother's and preschoolers come to
the bathroom when you go. Yep, that is true. That's
the thing. When the kids are at home.

That's different. Oh, tiring, that is different. Even if you're
going alone, they stand outside the door Yeah. We used
to joke about like the little hand coming under the door,
lock it. Are you in there? But yeah, sorry, Look,
by the way, that is a great gift. If it's
free time and whatever that you want and you get
some malone time, great, But then don't complain there's no

flowers and there's no going out to dinner.

much lawsuit stuff. Oh yeah, this actress has filed a
lawsuit against James Cameron and Disney. I mean that they

used her facial features as the inspiration for the main
character in Avatar. Yeah, and they did that without her permission.
Oh damn. Yeah. She was fourteen when she starred as
Pocahontas in the New World, and she said that James
Cameron saw a photo of her from the movie and

used her face as the basis for the CGI character
played by Zoe with her name is Saldana. Yeah, right,
so the laws who claims that she was never contacted, credited,
or compensated, despite James Cameron allegedly later admitting publicly that
her face inspired the design, and she says it feels
especially hypocritical because the Avatar franchise presents itself as supportive

of indigenous cultures while allegedly exploiting an indigenous teenager behind
the scenes.

I mean that is what the movie's about.

other actors and actresses talking about the AI stuff with

some rumors about Disney is considering switching back to legacy
characters for their film.

that like they're just gonna read because already brought us
they did a Han solo movie. Are they going to
reinvent those characters of the actors.

Talk about Bambi yeah, and Star Wars Yeah yeah, it's
all the Star Wars stuff.

But like, yeah, like they want the Han solo Luke
sky Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader kind of stuff.

two D two obviously because these are easy ones.

Yeah right, they're basically talking about getting up putting. Uh,
the new trilogy people not really in anything.

Yeah, I can't see more through the the glass over there,
so I can't get his opinion on it, because he
would be the the go to star Wars.

We crept on like the Chicks Star The Chicks, Luke Skywalker,
the Ray character Ray because they said like, well, yeah,
well you guys did, but the Triinn was kind of
the yeah and Finny. They crept on her because she
didn't really have to go thrillthy trials and triplations of Luke. Yeah.

They were just like, oh, she's suddenly magic. Yeah she
didn't kiss her brother?

So many lawsuits that we've been talking about, and there's
another one against Renee Zellweger and aunt Anstead who used
to be married to Christina Hack from HGTV. By the way,
fun fact, they're being sued for ten million bucks because
the chick Tracy Bellan, she was at a house that
aunt Anstead was renting. He didn't own it, he was
renting it, and she tripped over this rug and hurt

her ankle so much so that she says she's going
to have lifelong implications from this injury. So she wants
ten million bucks.

Yeah, oh, is this a rug filled with spikes? Is
this like a there was a small So renees Elwigger
owns this place. She does not know this dude, Glenn
Wilson owns the house. Aunt was renting it and Renee
wasn't even there at the time. So she's suing all
three and wants ten million bucks. So now this Glen guy,
he who owns the house, is not counter seuing, but

he wants to be clear in court that he doesn't
owe her a penny. So why is she being sued? Though?

Renee zelway because she got money because she's with Aunt
and she lives nearby in Laguna. But that's why she's like,
get me out of this lawsuit.

Yea, you could see anyone for anything.

Not my house wasn't there, lived nearby. That's my only
connection to aunt Anstead. It was a gathering of friends
that at Ant's house.

I just don't know how you can how do you
and tie her in right at all?

And now ten million bucks is what she wants?

Was was she like an Olympic runner, like why is
her ankle ten millions?

Well, see the thing is and you'll say, well the
judge would see this, throw it out and penalizer. But
a lot of times they just they'll dismiss it, and
they'll dismiss it with prejudice, but they won't then come
after you for being frivolous.

And then I also think when you are suing somebody
after a car crash or whatever, your lawyers will go
after any whatever three million bucks, knowing damn well you'll
probably get like twenty grand.

But yeah, we always think we'd never think about how
weird it is. Like you're gathering for a dinner party,
you obviously probably know this person, and then now they're
like suing you. That is so odd to me.

Well, people have a friend of mine, people.

Have an outlook on things. They go, well, no, it's
not about you. Your insurance company will take care of it. Yeah,
So they look at it as like they're just gonna
get this easy money out of the insurance. If you
don't have pri it's not Yeah, it's not gonna affect you.
They're not going to drop you right from your coverage.

Just happened to me in my backyard, a drunken accident
during a party, and then about three months later, Hey,
just curious, who's your homeowners?

And yeah, well well, I mean you would have to
tell them, You tell them, well, because they'll figure they'll
figure it out anyway.

expect to even pass?

Thirty to forty percent of the bar takers fail first attempt. However,
within two years, ninety to ninety six percent eventually pass.
Meaning Okay, once you get through with it and done
it a few times, but.

I'm shocked that you think you could even pass this
when you're not dedicating all your time to it. I'm

not shocked because I've looked again. I just was doing
some L S A T. Questions and it's not tough
especially Okay, so is this your next challenge, pass the
bar blindly.

Not blind because for the bar, you do need to
know actual law, like because they're not asking you just
logic questions. They're asking you specific legal questions. You do
need specific knowledge on. But she's been doing this for
what five six eight years now and having this like
internship thing, you had five.

Or six years to get sixty five percent?

Yeah, with like the duds around the class as something
called the baby bar. I guess that's like.

ninety five percent of people eventually pass it, that means
she's dumber than ninety five percent of people.

How many people have started a project and then halfway
through and go, yeah, you know what, forget it? You
start you know, I'm just around the house, like things
that you want to know just in general, Like I'm
going to be really in the pickleball and you go
buy all the crap and then it's burned out within
what huts.

And I'm getting pilot's license and you said, well I
got you know, I just took three thousand hours of
training and I'm just too stupid to do it.

Well, you know that does happen. Like the the percentage
of people who actually start flight training compared to the
number who actually get their pile's license is very low,
because anybody could start flight trading. Yeah, it's very low,
because then you have to do all the actual stuff.
You have to take all the knowledge exams, you got
to do all the practical tests, you got to do
all that stuff. Yeah, and that's where people flame out
because a lot of stuff, especially what I'm doing right

now with this instrument rating, it's super technical. Yeah, super tech,
Like the written test is mega technical, and aerodynamics and
weather stuff and all these things and how that affects
you know, the lift, the whatever, the load component of
the whatever. The it's crazy stuff. And you got to
get you know, passing great on that. That's seventy percent,
oh seventy percent. But then after you do that, whatever

you've missed on on that exam, then gets brought up
on the exam that you do with the FA examiner
to make sure the past. Yeah, so it's not like
you just miss on that and then they get you
on the other one. So it's that's why people they
go all right, this is not just the fun stuff,
and they're they're.

Out, here's your here's your numbers. About twenty five percent
fail their private pilot license practical on the first attempt.

Yeah, but like how many people start flight training compared
to actually get there. I sure that's a billion. Yeah,
I forget what the percentage is. It's it's crazy low. Yeah,
it's a little crazy low.

More lawsuits? Stephen Tyler. He's going to trial in August
over and we we've kind of been hearing about this
was finally happening. Allegations that he groomed and assaulted this
girl when she was sixteen. And it's also kind of
like the James Cameron thing. He's he's kind of screwedin
away because the lawsuit claims he used his power of
you know, being a rock star and you know, and
took her on tour as her legal guardian and her

team says that he even admitted in his memoir calling
her his teen bride and writing she was sixteen and
she knew how to nasty.

A judge dismissed most of the claims due to time limits,
and a portion is still active. Under California's rule, there's
a look back window for child victims if you want to,
you know, go back years later. Tyler's lawyer called the
dismissal of all the charges of massive win. But this girl,
her attorneys insist it's finally time for him to be
accountable to a jury.

I mean, it sounds like a lot of these guys
did a lot of that kind of stuff in the
