Speaker 1 (00:02):
Is it due to the graphic nature of his program
listener discretion?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Is it lies the Woody Show? This is the Woody Show.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Insensitivity Training.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Class is now in session. Day, Good morning, everybody. Today
is Thursday, Day number four of five pre Friday. It
is July the ninth, twenty twenty sixth We are the
Woody Show. Woody, Greg mannis Julie Brad. We got Sea Bass.

(00:59):
We've so hope there we go turn that. Yeah, there

You can send us a text over to two to
nine eight seven. Check in, tell us who you are,

(01:20):
and then where around town you're listening to The Woodes Show.
Anything anyone you'd like to have us mentioned your texts
over to to nine eighty seven. Let's see. We've got
some of the news headlines. We've got the birthdays, the
porn of birthdays coming up today, July ninth. Today is
National don't put all your eggs in one omelet Day. Hey,
come on, guys, I love it. I've been on an

(01:42):
omelet kick lately. Really, if we go out somewhere and
we're doing it, whether it's like a breakfast going out
or brinner, like if the place that has twenty you know,
twenty four hour breakfast, Yeah, I've been. I've been going
with omelets are good to go, and my go to
has been the Greek. So you get like, yeah, you
get like feta Cheesepin would have never guests, I would
have thought you hated it. No, in fact, I know

(02:04):
all of this, but I do order extra feta. I
do love me some feta. It's one thing that I
don't like. I do feta. But you like blue cheese
in small doses. Blue cheese can't do National Sugar Cookie Day,
the world's most boring so drying sugar cookies. How about

(02:27):
this for a flex today in history? It was today
in seventeen ninety two, right here, James Swan personally paid
off the entire US national debt.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
That was so nice about He was a nice guy.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
But keep in mind, so you go, okay, well it
was only a little over two million bucks, but that
is nice. This is seventeen ninety two money. Two million
bucks is a lot of money. Today. That was awesome.
Now it seems kind of low, saying two million bucks
in today's dollars would be twenty eight million. Yeah, a
lot of money for that year. Yeah, you'd like a

(03:06):
billion a billion. You think it'd be like a regular
Elon musk right seven. By the way. Today, in twenty seventeen,
Elon became the first owner of Tesla's first mass market
electric car, the Model three.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Yeah dogs damn.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
So today in history.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I mean, even if Elon wanted to be off the debt,
he couldn't.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Right close, he's one he has if he sold all
his value, which would then tank the value for other people.
Of course, people don't realize that. They think he just
has a trillion dollars sitting around stall it right, and
they we have like thirty five trillion.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
In debts something like that. So enjoyed.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Enjoy the inflation people, that's where's coming from.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
More money?

Speaker 5 (03:40):
We're good.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah, that's right. Hey, you want to talk about real problems, guys,
got to talk about Sammy. Yes, Sammy has an issue.
She moved into uh steamboat Willie's place, and she's getting
used to and she's like, you know, she's acclimating given
to her new environment, cohabitating. Yeah. Yeah. And the one thing,

(04:01):
what is one thing that Sammy does more than anybody else,
you know, the laundry, laundry. She's addicted. She's got a
laundry beef when it comes to Steamboat Willie's places, because.

Speaker 7 (04:12):
I don't know why anyone would make a place where
the laundry the washroom dryer are not on the same
floor as the bedrooms.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
That's normal, No, it's not.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
The stairs.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
My entire life from my house.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Now, like the laundry is on the first floor, Like
when you walk in from the garage, there's the laundry
room and the bedrooms are on the second floor. I
most place is incredibly rare to have it now, I will't.
I mean, and I had.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
I lived in two story houses growing up, and then
we had the laundry on them.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
But the help would just go get it ned cal Yeah,
I know. Maybe the beach house was different.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Yeah, we didn't even have the washroom dryer at the
Beach House.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
The laundromat's gret you know, like when we watch these
HGTV shows, that is one of the things that they
do a lot.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
When they will, like a remodel on love It or
Listed or property, laundry to that level. Yeah, they'll they'll
add a laundry room to the bedroom level.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Yes, it's so necessary.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I mean I can see where it's convenient. But back
in the day.

Speaker 8 (05:16):
What point, though, seriously, and Sammy, I love you, at
what point does laundry stop running your life?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Like on these shows when you watch they make such
a big deal out, I don't want to go down
there to do laundry. Come on, it's laundry.

Speaker 8 (05:31):
You do it once, well, Sammy does it once a day,
most normal people once a week, even though, don't let
it rule your life.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
It's a ten minute process exactly, No.

Speaker 7 (05:39):
Because you have to take it out and then you
have to fold it all and you have to carry
it all upstairs.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
But you're taking it to begin with.

Speaker 8 (05:45):
You could say about anything you're gonna make a meal,
You've got to get your plate out.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
Like three trips up and down yesterday, just bringing different.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Cools because you're fat now and you don't want to
do this step.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
You know I'm saying the answer is that you're the
type of person who you should be living either in
like a like a ranch style house, you know, like
a single story. Right, you're a single story person, you know.

Speaker 7 (06:10):
I didn't realize it, but now I think I am
because growing up we always had two story houses, and
then since then I've lived in one story places and
I'm back to to a three story.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Actually, I didn't think.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
It was going to be a townhouse.

Speaker 7 (06:23):
I didn't think it was going to be a big deal.
And I'm like, damn it, these stairs story is.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
The way to go, and you're not getting younger, so
you know those news.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I lived in Chicago and I had one of those
like three story. There was three stories plus there was
like a little roof deck, so it was nothing but
stairs stairs for days. That's the way to live for
everything anywhere. Was your laundry though it was it was
on the very first floor. It was on the ground level,
so you had to go up two stories, not even

(06:52):
to the next story up it was you had to
go up two stories. Like That's what my townhouse was like.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
And some people they actually have to go drive.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Was just crazy, you know, I thought it was weird
when and I know, Greg, you had a situation like
this where your washer and dryer were in the garage,
like in the actually in the actual garage. Yeah, I'm
currently in that situation. Or do you ever see the
ones on some of these h G t V shows
where they're outside in the backyard on the back. Yeah,
there's there's like a back No, no, it's like a

(07:23):
it's a little tiny house, but it's like a little
back porch, like a closet or just on a porch.
Did you get rained on there's a covering.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
I've never seen that.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Yeah, it's really weird. What's my life? The Washington dryer
were in the garage.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah, in the garage, because like that's so filthy, like
the laundry room off the garage. Okay, makes sense in
the garage, but it's big enough. I have like a
rug in front of What.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
About those scary unfinished basements with like the pipes and
scary cement floor.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yes, down there that's always where our washer and good
luck survive. This baby won't sit because it say and
you know.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
You don't do.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Not really big on celebrities, but definitely a celebrity. I
would love to meet Tom Hanks. It's his birthday today.
He's seventy nine years old.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Today she met him.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Most people know him as Chet Hanks Dad. Yeah, that's
how you would know who he is.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
He was that Coachelle I mean no, he was that
stage coach.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Did you say seventy nine? He's seventy.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Oh, okay, that makes more sense.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Yeah, I say, did I say seventy nine? I thought
you did. Maybe it's early, dude. Yeah, Fred Savage, Kevin
Arnold from the Wonder Years is fifty. Damn Kevin O'Leary
and mister Wonderful Shark Tank is seventy two.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
And in Marty Supreme. Oh yeah, Big Vegas is the
one of many cameos in that movie.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
And he was so good.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Pamela Adlin. Yeah, the voice of Bobby Hill on King
of the Hill is sixty. Courtney Love is sixty two
years old today. Jack White from the White Stripes is
fifty one, so is Isaac who's the lead singer of
Modest Mouse. And he got Frank Bellow Ranthrex, who's sixty one.
Your pornod birthday today is Riley Reid's. I've heard. Oh, yeah,

(09:10):
you know what I'm saying. Yeah, you know saying Brody's birthday. Girl,
she has been rammed through more than the soccer field.
She's a nice young lady. One thousand, six hundred and
fifty five adult films at her resume. She's a mom, dude,
that's one. That's one blown out lady. How dare you?
She was in a backing into Riley's back Door, also

(09:31):
anal Ground and Pound. Oh that sounds like something that's
more than like, yeah, look at me while you suck
at volume two. She was in the multicultural film Sinko d'bango.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
She was in kis the Anal Season, also Thrilla in
Vanilla Yes volume twelve, she was in Straight a Squorters
and then who can forget her unfrigerd role in Slurpy
Throat Sluts.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Oh yeah, I love to read Menace to your point
a recent oh from Ley reads Instagram. Okay, people will
assume I'm a terrible mother because of my line of work.
My child's not an iPad kid. She's a play with
bugs outside.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
And write stories kind of kid. Good for you. She
speaks three languages. It has learning more.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
She can read and fraud only pictures, but sounds. I
spent a lot of time and money on her education.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
She draws sounds.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
I mean that was a bit of a you.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Know, what's your kid doing?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, thank you, it's a foreign a birthday and your
celebrity birthdays. Here on the Woody Show. Take a quick break.
We got some more Wooden show for you. Next tag
show and we are into another new hour. It is
The Woody Show, Woody Greg Dennis.

Speaker 9 (10:40):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
If you want to call in great, we love that
eighty seven seven Woodie. You can send us a text
if you'd like, over to two two nine eighty seven.
I don't know why people hike. I don't see what
the appeal is. I just don't we hear. This is
what we've been saying, guys. That's what we've been saying.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
It can be fun walking an example of fun. I
mean just seeing the scenery and the challenge and completing
the hike. It's cool. It's great exercise too, Like it
is one of the things I love. Like I'm not saying,
not saying. It can't be pretty dangerous too, if you know,

(11:24):
if you just go in there willy nilly, but at
least you get a.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
View and not just a gym treadmill.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Here's what you never hear about. You never hear about
something like this happened to somebody who's watching you know, Netflix,
never on their account. You never, you never hear about this.
And another example of why you just don't go hiking guys,
a couple found finally they were missing in a forest
for a week. They only had a little food on
them because they were just planning for a little hike,

(11:50):
short hike. Yeah, so they had to like, you know,
scour around for berries. They drank their own urine to
avoid dying of thirst. Yeah, and while they were doing
all that, a rescue team was sent out to look
for them, and it took six days before they were
finally found and they were both okay at least. Yeah,

(12:10):
they're safe and sound. They'll be fine in the long run,
although it might ruin you for hiking.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Yeah, there will be no long runs.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
I wouldn't do anything like that unless I had some
type of device to communicate.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, you know. Well, I mean now, it's like a
lot of the phones in T mobile, I think eighteen
all of them have some kind of deal with like
so as long as you have a view of the sky,
which if you're hiking, I would imagine you would find
a clearing or something and you can Yeah, but just.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
Going in there with nothing.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Well like the movie The True Story one hundred and
twenty seven hours, The Guy.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Yeah, I never watched that.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Oh it's for the best.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
It sounds like good guy hiking.

Speaker 6 (12:50):
I don't want there's a guy, well guy bike riding.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
But yeah, I think you would love that movie. Yeah. Right,
So then when it comes time to drinking your pea,
do you tell your partner like, hey, don't look, but
I gotta catch some p now.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Or or do you p in their mouth?

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Right?

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Well? Yeah, directly from the fountain, right from the tap.
It's a survival. It's a survival thing. Which I was
just talking to, uh, to Jeff G about this because
you know, he's new here, hasn't really heard my stories
about the survival intervention thing that I got sent to
as a teenager, which you can watch on Netflix. It's
called Hell Camp teen Nightmare and uh, even though that's

(13:28):
not the specific program that I went to, it is
exactly the same as the one that I went to.
The one I went to was called SEUSS s u
w S Southern Utah Wilderness School. It's three weeks you're
out in the desert hiking miles and miles a day.
The time I was there was in the middle of winter,
so it was hiking with snow shoes. You can see
why I hate hiking. Yes, you get the idea of

(13:48):
any of this, That's what I'm saying. So I'm sure
it's ruined for them. But I was telling Jeff, if
you want to watch something, and it's easier to watch
this thing because you can't really tell it in a
short form h story, it's it's crazy. And between that
and the boarding school, which that's the other thing. I
don't know if he saw the story. Provo Canyon is
the boarding school in Utah where Paris Hilton Yeah, says

(14:09):
that she was abused as a teen. She's been doing
a lot of campaigning against that stuff while they just
have their license revoked.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Oh sweet, Yeah, I see her on social media like posting.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yeah, a big story in Congress and oh yeah, it's
a big story. I would love. I spoke to her briefly,
ran into her a restaurant of all plays. The person
I was with knows her and her husband or boyfriend, fiance,
whatever he is. I'm not sure they're married. Are they married?

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Yeah, she's married.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Yeah, Anyway, he was a really cool guy, nice dude.
But you know, I'm like, hey, I went to Mount
Bachelor Academy. You did, and so like there's a big
conversation that happened there at some point, because I'd be
interested to trade stories with her.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Paris Hilton is the coolest like ever. I've probably met
her probably like seven times, and it's never had a
bad experience. And then like she I don't know. It's
like and if you talk to anybody that's ever met her,
they'll say the same thing.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
She's had a as far as like an image and whatever,
she's had a glow up because she started as like
the dumb yeah you know, you know, kind of like
just that areas she's evolved into like a very upstanding,
very very cool, very cool person. You got to watch
Cooking with Paris on Netflix. But I would love to. Uh,

(15:30):
I'm sure I can get it set up, but I would.
I would love you whether it was like a podcast
form or just even just hanging out somewhere with her
for a little bit and just having this conversation. I'm
because I'm sure I know for a fact that she's
interested in hearing my side. I'm really interested to hear
her side because when these stories come out. So the
hell camp one is is big. That was on the
Desert Intervention Survival program thing that I got sent to

(15:52):
because it got said I got kicked out of that
boarding school, right, and the boarding school was also like
Provo Canyons. So while it's not owned by the same people,
it was like, you know, if you have two things
that are are pretty much the same. Yeah, you know,
like our sister stationed down the hall, different format and
different everything, but it's all under the same company. It's
all under the same umbrella of type of school, so

(16:15):
it's all the same. They called it an emotional growth program.
Oh that dude. Anyway, so the school got their license revoked. Provokenny,
the one I went to by the way out of
business as well, that was put out of business years ago.
They got everything pulled from them. There's all kinds of
articles and stuff. You go online, you can look up
Mount Bachelor Academy and it was in Prineville, Oregon. That's

(16:36):
the school that I went to. But it's very very
similar to this one because that was we always heard
about Provo Canyon. Well, you know, you can always go
to Provo Canyon. You're not gonna be here. Your parents
aren't just gonna stand your home. They're gonna send you
to another school like Provo. Yeah, that's the thing that
was always It wasn't even a threat because it's just
another school that did the same thing. It's like, you
find you it doesn't work out here, your parents can
just put you another one.

Speaker 7 (16:56):
Right.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
So the citations these go back to twenty twenty five,
and there's been a long history of these. But see
include engaging in unnecessary restraint. So I can tell you
what that's about, aggressive physical contact. I know what that's about.
Neglecting care, I don't. I don't know about that, not
verifying employee information or submitting background checks. I bet you
that's true because a lot of times these schools and

(17:19):
these programs are in these like very rural type areas. Yeah,
and there's not a lot to pull from locally, you know,
like from a talent standpoint, you would have to have
people moving there just to take this job, which some
people did. Some people did, but other times, like a
lot of these programs, they would just hire like the
local yokels who just needed a job. And you know
Billy Badass who yah, who went who went to boot

(17:43):
camp and then you know, couldn't cut it in the military.
So now he's working at the Desert Intervention program, you know,
handling these kids. Uh Paris spent a year there in
the late nineties. Said the staff members beat her, watched
her shower, fed her unknown pills, and locked her in
solitary confinement without clothes. Now staff members beating her. I'm

(18:04):
just I'm going by like stuff that maybe I see
not at Mount Batchler. I didn't see that, but I
saw I saw some pretty aggressive stuff in this other
program that I ended up at called Three Springs, which
was in Alabama. Watched her shower. Yes, they would. They
would do that if they thought you were trying to
hide something. You came back from like a home visit,
come back from visiting. There was always a strip search.

(18:24):
When he came back. They go through every article of clothing,
everything in your bag. You got a strip search. You
had to do the whole like you know, bend over
and cough thing, fed her unknown pills. That's the thing.
Like I know that there were kids who didn't want
to take their medication. They would cheek it. But they
would also have these systems in place to see if
making the kids just take making sure they're taking their

(18:45):
riddle in or you know, whatever they were prescribed. Sometimes
like the kid wasn't even aware that they were you know.
You know, it's like a doctor or their parents that
had them, you know, prescribed this thing. They didn't even
know what it was. Locked her in solitary confinement. Yeah,
it's called a solo yeah, or a self study. That
was they called it. They called it. I was, I
was on plenty of self studies.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
Now, Paris says that, and I think you go through
the same thing. When she tried to bring this up
to her parents, uh like even after she left, Oh,
they don't even want to talk.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
No, you kidding, if anything like this is this time
of my life, my timeline has brought me from my mom.
My mom will leave the room, she won't talk about it.
It's it's a well, it's a thing.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
But then a lot of these schools, they will reach
out to the parents in advance and say, this is
what your kid is going to tell you, and it's
just because they don't want to be here. It's just
because they're spoiled brats. So they will sort of muddy
the water before the kid talks to the parent.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
The school is now under new ownership, so the administration
says they can't comment on anything during their during her
time there. Now, she has been campaigning lawmakers to shut
the school down for a while. I mean she testified
before Congress's men as mentioned, and state legislatures and all
that kind of stuff to pass these lots becuse there's
a lot of these team programs out there and we
read into them. I get it parents sometimes even as
a parent's like, man, you feel like you're at the

(19:59):
end of your rope and you don't know what to do,
and you feel like it's gonna be critical, and you
know this is going to be you know, I got
to make a decision, a tough decision. You send you
but you got to know where you're sending these these kids.
And it's like it's like the supplement industry. It's not
really all that regulator, yeah, study, you know what I mean. Yeah,
So like people are selling you the snake oil stuff
or whatever, but you're sending your kids off to these places.

Speaker 10 (20:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
And now you got to keep in mind too, because
there was this other boarding school story out of New York.
There was a ten million dollar lawsuit filed by a
former student claiming that the kids were kept in closets
without food, water, or bathrooms for days. Physically abused students
were strip searched upon arrival. That stuff I've seen, and
I've seen that forced in sexualized group sessions. I've seen that.

(20:44):
But because that you're you're going over your past. There
were some kids, some girls that I was at this
boarding school with that were there because they were doing
all kinds of stuff, either to get drugs or just
because they decided they were going to prostitute themselves. And
so that you go into it's all this kind of
group therapy stuff and they start having these kids like
dive into you know, they're they're past their history. So

(21:05):
when you say sexualized group sessions, that's probably what that is.
It's not like they're they're they're forcing kids into an orgy.
Nobody's making out. No, it's not like that. But yes,
there's a lot of like very heavy sexual talk because
this chick's talking about how she used to give you know,
blowies so she could get money to go get you know,
whatever she was on heroin or or Yeah, it was
crazy heavy stuff, required to work like slaves for the

(21:28):
direct financial benefit of the family that owned the boarding school. Well, yeah,
there was always physical labor because we were, as the
students in charge of upkeeping the campus, cleaning dorms, washing dishes,
you know, like maintaining all the pathways throughout the campus
and stuff. Our school was in the middle of the
Ochiko National Forest, which is like like east of Prineville,
Central Oregon. And it's not like they were bringing in

(21:51):
cleaning crews. You had a school full of kids, yeah,
and it was teaching them responsibility. So you know, kids
bitched about it. But you know, my kids bitch about
chores too. Now, did you guys have tea time I
required the work like slaves. I wouldn't. I would, I
wouldn't classify like that. And this is what I'm talking
about with some of these kids. Some of these kids
are really messed up, you know, and nobody liked being there.
And I'll give you the perfect example, like we would,

(22:12):
we would dramatize some things, you know, Like you know,
the way you were describing it, like sexualized group sessions.
You throw that out there. It's very vague and you're
thinking something else. I just told you what it was.
That's exactly what it was, right, But the kids would go,
oh yeah, and people go, I can't believe that we
got it. Okay, Well, you know, maybe maybe it's out
of context. Some of the stuff is out of context.
This is my example. I was trying to convince my

(22:34):
parents what a terrible places was. And it's not great.
It wasn't great by any stretches. I hated being there.
I'm glad it's shut down, all of it, all of it.
They shouldn't exist. I hate it. It's a black mark
on my life. It's a time I'll never get back.
I did learn a lot from it in many ways,
not in the ways that we're intended, but got a
lot out of it for you know, unintended reasons. But

(22:57):
one thing that we did it was pretty fun. I
was telling Jeff there was this barbed wire fence behind
the dorms and it wasn't to keep us in. It
was to keep there was like you know, random livestock
and stuff that would like wander through because there was
like ranches and stuff nearby and every once in a while,
so it was to keep things out. But I would
I would say that they were keeping us behind barbed

(23:17):
wire fence. And I was telling my parents and whoever
would listen to this when I had the opportunity, And
so I had a friend of mine take a picture
where it looked like and I had my my my
top hands on top of the top link of barbed wire,
and I'm just kind of looking to the side, like, hey, look,
we're behind these barb wire fences. The fence was three
feet tall. I took the picture from my knees holding

(23:40):
on to the to the stuff and and frame the
picture that way. But if I stood up, it would
come up to like my belly button. About the angles, man,
it's all It's all about the angles anyway. So, I mean,
while there there is some truth in a lot of
this stuff, there's a there's a lot of there's a
lot of dramatics involved to because of like who you're

(24:00):
dealing with. And it doesn't take away from the fact
that these schools shouldn't exist, at least unregulated the way
that they are. And I'm glad that Paris has been
doing what she's been doing because it will do to it. Yeah,
it sucks. And and that one particular documentary that you
watch called hell camp on Netflix. That is dead to
real That's exactly what I went through. Not the same place,

(24:23):
but exactly what I went through. And when you watch that,
you understand. You go, dude, this should not this should
not be a thing. Yeah, so good for her. Congratulations
to uh, to Paris and to uh everybody involved. Uh,
that's great. In this other lawsuit in New York, they're
saying that, you know, these schools run this one in
New York former alcoholics, self identified sex addicts with no
professional licensing, clinical training, or educational credentials, which is true

(24:46):
because you know, sometimes these rehab kind of play you
have former drug addicts who are working with current drug
addicts trying to say, hey, you know, I used to
be this way too. That's how these staff members were,
like I used to be addicted to porn and I
used to blah blah blah blah blah, and I used
to get pros dudes and whatever and I and they
were maybe they were trying to help, but I that
is that part right there is true.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
But they didn't have the training that goes with that.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Oh yeah, yeah no, unless they did it online, which
at the time online didn't exist. They did exactly. Yeah,
all right, well uh yeah, so you know if we
can get parents. Do you have a mess you? I
thought you had a contact actually just sent a text.

Speaker 11 (25:23):
Did someone I know is in direct contact with her
stuff with her, So I just shut the text out.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
So it's emotions.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yeah, yeah, you won't.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
Be disappointed like meeting with her and talk.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
No, I don't think, like I said, my interaction with
her just in that brief time.

Speaker 5 (25:37):
You know, it's not what you see on television from
like you know, the Simple Life.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah, yeah, no, I don't think. I've watched a lot
of I watched a lot of her interviews with this
stuff as just popped up because you know, people know
about my you know, history or whatever, and they'll they'll
send that to me and like, wow, she's really good.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
Even her voice, she's really good.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
And she's got a really cool plane. You guys. Yeah,
it says Paris on the tail.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
There's no way to know.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
It's white and pink. Pretty, it's pretty plain, Greg, it's nice,
it's it's okay. I clicked. If she offered me a
ride on it, I would accept. Is the Wood Show
and it's uh, go right to Gina Grad who's got
the trending news headlines.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Well, yeah, President Trump has some harsh words for a round.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
I think it's over. I don't want to deal with
them with this scum.

Speaker 9 (26:25):
You know what scum is.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
There's scum.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
There's sick people.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
There's something wrong with them.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
They're cuckoo, they are liars, they're cheats, they're sick people.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
All right, Jeff and Bort, do me a favor. I
want that for one of these Woody Show, like when
we come back from breaks and stuff. Yeah, yeah, it's
like the Woody Show.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
I think it's over. I don't want to deal with
them with this scum.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
You know what scum is the Woody Show. There's scum.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
There's sick people.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
There's something wrong with them.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
They're cuckoo, they are liars, they're cheats, they're sick people.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
And they are back and then we come then we
come back and all right, guys, time for guess who's
gut show. They are cuckoo. They're cuckoo, there.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Are not they're liars. Well, it's the latest round of
the retribution strikes, with the US carrying out hits on
ninety military targets to limit Iran's ability to attack those
ships in the Strait of Horror mooth or mouth for Moose.
And of course we already know that that means oil
prices are up again. The price of gas already went
up five cents a gallon overnight. I know we're all shocked.

(27:25):
And the twenty twenty six Emmy Emmy nominees have been announced.
And my favorite show, The Pit, which is on HBO.
They led all the shows with twenty five nomination.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Yeah, I gotta get her. I got it. I just
gotta make time to check it out.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
It's incredible.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Did you see who also got a nomination for comedy?
Say Tom Segura, rare bad thoughts?

Speaker 6 (27:50):
She really happy?

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Gene smart? Of course she did for later. Actually, I
gotta say the final season of Hacks. I agree with you,
right it was. But I saw they got a lot
of nominations.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
Rights, yeah, twenty four and Greg Lisa Koudro for the Comeback.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
I fell off on that too, Oh my god. But
the Pit, I thought you're gonna be supportive of your
old friend, my dear friend.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
The biggest surprise was Widow's Bay from Apple TV. Anyone
YEA even heard of it?

Speaker 2 (28:22):
I love that show. It's really good. What's it about there?

Speaker 11 (28:24):
It's kind of a mix of horror and sci fi.
It's about an island back in the eighties that people
believe is curse, cursed, and all kinds of strange things
happen on that so it's pretty cool. And they're basically
like trapped on that island because you believe you die.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
Okay, so get stuff great acting in there.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
And finally Apple TV show Pluribys, which I also loved,
had eighteen nominations, So good time for TV. Except if
you're Greg and it's on his favorite shop, Well, is
just that last season I had?

Speaker 2 (28:50):
I think they just ran out of stuff to do.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
The show is going to air on September fourteenth on
NBC and Peacock And okay, this is insane. This time
toddler that was pronounced dead after being pulled out of
a pool in Arizona was found breathing hours later in
the hospital.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Oh so you hear about that in other countries. Yeah,
you don't hear about that kind of stuff in Arizona. Yeah,
in Arizona. It's always in like some other country, some
you know, weird thing where it's like the person that
has the toe tag on yes, all of a sudden,
it's like what am I doing?

Speaker 4 (29:20):
And yeah, they wake up. Okay, so listen to this
because it just is everything is crazier by the second.
So his parents got to the hospital and police declared
him dead. But while the parents were saying they're goodbyes,
they realized he was still alive. So after the cops
told the boy's parents he had died, they were saying,
you know, goodbye, and then they realized he was still breathing.
But the nurse says, oh, that's just a goneal breathing.

(29:43):
That's basically just like when aaron gas just kind of
leaves your body for the last time. But according to
the police report, an officer heard a nurse say he
still has a pulse, and then cops told the doctor,
and the doctor reminded the officer that quote. He was
the doctor. He had the medical degree, he went to
medical school for a reason, and to let him do
his thing.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
But check it out. You here every day, kid's still breathing.
It's whatever you said, breathing gone aloud. Okay, fine, if
that's what it is, worst case scenario, you wasted thirty
seconds of your time to go nor see there's no pulse,
he's not breathing.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Yeah, you can't just stick a mirror under his nose
real quick.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
That's why female doctors exactly, digs Man.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
So the little boy was rushed to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Doctors found he had no brain damage. Back home, Yeah,
he's going through physical therapy. It's a miracle for sure.
And I am so glad this didn't happen to you,
because you, of course are the first person.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
I got it in the pool. No, no, no, well
that too thanks.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
This forty two year old flight instructor was in the
middle of a flight lesson when he told his student, quote,
you know what you have to do? Carry on. Then
he opened the door and jumped out of the plane.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Oh damn, twenty two year old student. Now, okay, well
it's time to solo. When you're taking flight lessons. Okay,
what they typically do, because you don't necessarily know as
a student when it's gonna happen, like when you're going
to solo, they don't tell you beforehand. They don't want
to any air well, they don't want you to trip out,
you know, like you know, getting anxious about it, right,
So typically what they'll do is like when they know
you're ready to go, you grow out and you do

(31:20):
like a couple laps in the pattern at the airport
just and then they say, all right, land and then
you drop. They go all right, you're gonna drop me
off over here, and then you're gonna go do your
solo and you go, oh, but you land first, and
then they get out.

Speaker 12 (31:33):
Right.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Yeah, it happens. And this guy didn't want to waste
time though, And that's.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
The weirdest feeling too, by the way, like the first
time that happens, because like the instructor gets out and
it's the first time you're in the plane by yourself
and you're about to go take off and you're like, ooh,
this is right, all right, let's do this.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
So thank god, this twenty two year old kid was
able to maintain control. Here's the thing, and he landed safely.
The flight instructor's body was recovered.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Oh yeah, he was. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
No, they don't know why they're so nice. I mean,
I guess you really want to traumatize the kid next
to you, that's the way to do it. And finally,
a thirty six year old dude in Indiana is involved
in one of the craziest stories this year. They were
just getting crazy today.

Speaker 13 (32:15):
So get this.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
He cut off his own penis with a kitchen knife.
He doused it with gasoline, and then he used it
to start a garage fire. A few minutes after the fire.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Maybe could take two penises and start like a bow
drill fire like.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Yeah, they found this dude covered in blood wandering the streets,
and he told him that he was stabbed. But then
when he was taken to the hospital, I guess he
just decided to tell on himself and confess to the
cops he started the fire. So the cops went back
to the fire, and sure enough they found all, well
almost all the evidence, including the knife, but they think
that the penis was probably burned up by then. And yeah,

(32:56):
the man was putting cuffs and charged with arson. I
guess you don't get with like cutting off your own penis.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Wasn't there a story about a guy he was trying
to prove to his wife he was never going to
cheat on her again, so he cut off his own
penis and put it in the garbage disposal. Yeah, there
was a story. I know there was a story about it.
I might be complating. I might be complating two different stories,
but there was one. There was one where the guy
cut off his own penis to prove to his wife
he was never going to cheat on her again. I'm like,

(33:23):
there's other ways to do that.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Yeah, well now she doesn't want to either.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
I mean, that's the ultimate way to do it.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
Exactly, gross anyway, I mean it wouldn't it.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
But wouldn't the mouth party also be cheating ladies, Like
if you decided to give a mouth party to another chick. Yeah,
emotional cheating. And it's just not p in the v
relations cheating.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
No, you're absolutely right.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Yeah, it also could be emotional cheating. Maybe he's sending
her funny memes, so he needs back and forth with
his request.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
Yeah, so now he needs a lobotomy. The list just
gets longer and longer. Yeah, exactly, that's what's going on.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
We got some more woody show coming up for you
next second show, great show. A little follow up on
the news. A couple of stories we were talking about
that that story about the guy who cut off his

(34:17):
own penis in Indiana. He cut his own penis off
with a kitchen knife, doused it with gasoline, and then
used it to start a garage fire, and then the
cops found him wondering the streets and he told me
he was stabbed queer. It's a very very strange story.
A couple of people on the text you guys are

(34:38):
good man gives new meaning to Molotov cocktail good got
as Yeah, you know what. And we see that in
the comments on the on Instagram and stuff like about
Tyler's tattoos because that yeah, that's right. And then the
other story out of Arizona where that toddler was pulled

(35:00):
out of the pool, brought to the hospital declared dead.
Parents are saying they're goodbyes, realized the kid is still alive,
still breathing. The police go to tell the doctor like, hey, no,
come on, this kid's like no, no, no, I'm the doctor.
I went to medical school. Let me do my job.
The kids fine, Yeah, he's fine, no brain damage, none
of this. Like what an incredible story. Yeah, another incredible

(35:23):
baby story out of Canada. This new mom she gave
birth to her baby while sleeping through her epidural. That
sounds awesome like she had a baby in her sleep.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Oh, sign up, lucky.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
The nurses found the baby minutes later under a pile
of blankets. The baby's one hundred percent fine.

Speaker 14 (35:41):
Oh wait wait wait, it's.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
Not like they were delivering the baby and it was
all nobody was around.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Yeah, because she they gave her the epidural, and then
they gave her the epidural. And he said, the process
when you go and you check in, you know, they
get you prepped in the whole thing and so that
you got the contractions going and things like that, to
come back and check and see where things are, how dilated.
Blah blah blah blah blah. They do the whole thing right,
and then they'll they'll give the epidural and you're just
so she passes. She fell asleep. And while she was

(36:09):
asleep because of the epidural, killing all the feeling from
whoever down. Uh didn't realize there's a baby. I mean,
I guess that's the way. Yeah, right, that's okay.

Speaker 7 (36:20):
We just.

Speaker 9 (36:28):
Didn't feel that.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Yeah, I didn't feel is it the epidural or other things.
If it's her first If it's her first child, that's
really incredible. Second child, third child. As you go on, Uh,
that process is a little bit easier. Yeah. The first
one was was was more difficult for my wife. The

(36:51):
second one doesn't like when I say I said, I said, babe.
The second one pretty much just shot out yeah.

Speaker 7 (36:56):
But it is because the body knows what to do,
Like the female body knows how to get a baby out,
and once it's done it before, it knows how to
do it again.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Part of it got anything to do with the giant.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
Keep stretching it over and over again.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
It's gonna lose it. The last Disney. It's kind of
like after years of eating a lot, my stomach just
got used to larger quantities. The same thing.

Speaker 10 (37:21):
This.

Speaker 6 (37:21):
It's a show.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
And ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please welcome to
the program. He is a TV tech reporter for k
t l A in Los Angeles. He hosts a syndicated
radio show, Rich on Tech. He has Rich DeMuro at
rich on Tech on Instagram. Hello Rich, how are you
my friend?

Speaker 10 (37:45):
Rich? I'm doing so well.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
Thanks for having me back. I really appreciate it. Oh yeah,
because there was a there was a really big chance
and we were never going to have you back. It
was really kind of like, I don't know if it's
gonna happen or now, But no, Rich, we always love
having you on because Rich sides knowing so much about
the tech and gadgets and different pieces of software and
all these things out of that world that you should
know about. It's just stuff that people can actually use.

(38:08):
It doesn't get too into the weeds of the stuff
that's like real for the hardcore you know, tech dorks,
you know, but it's it's good what they call consumer
consumer tech, consumer tech. Yeah, yeah, anyway, the average person. Yeah.
But you can find all of his Rich on Tech
TV segments, the rich on Tech radio show, it's all
there on his website rich on tech dot TV. You

(38:29):
can also subscribe to his free newsletter rich on tech
dot TV and uh, everything we talk about with Rich.
He has linked up on that website again Rich rich
on tech dot TV. Rich, good to have you back.
Gangs all here, Yeah, Greg and Madus Gina.

Speaker 15 (38:45):
So, Gina, you'll love this or maybe you'll hate it,
depending on how we use it. But there's a new
AI image generation tool from Meta called Muse and it
is powerful. It's really fast, it's really slick, and you know,
Meta built this themselves and they just released it. You
can find it inside your Instagram stories or if you

(39:06):
have the meta a app downloaded like I do. But
here is the wild part not you know, obviously you
can create AI images a million different ways. What their
little spin on it is is that you can at someone.
So basically you can tag someone in trompt I did
hear about that, Like, go ahead at Gina grad and
you can say, you know, put me and Gina in
a radio studio together or whatever, you know, on a

(39:29):
beach and who knows where, and it will it will
look at your profile, it will find your pictures and
it will use those as the reference to create the
AI image.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
And it's really good and kind of scary at so,
I just saw a post about this yesterday and it
was a whole thing about how to disable people from
being able to use the stuff that's on your where
and be able to do it like and disable it.
Like you go into your settings and then you go
down to let me say, I know, if I.

Speaker 15 (39:57):
Look at it sharing, it's I've got it on my Instagram.
At rich On Tech, it's you own your profile menu,
your settings and activity. Scroll all the way down to
where it says sharing and reuse, and there's a new
option that basically says, do you want to allow others
to use your photos and videos for AI Image Generation Nope,
and you can opt out, Andy, I think you already have.

(40:18):
I'm kind of on the gate, like I'm on the
fence here. I'm like, I kind of like, I kind
of like it because it's fun, but also I don't
know if I want other people using.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
My picture just for whatever they want.

Speaker 15 (40:28):
No, this is great.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
I literally just put in make Rich DeMuro and Gina
grad ride a unicorn over a rainbow and it looks majestic. Yes,
it's I mean my hair is on point.

Speaker 5 (40:43):
Can ryan people again? How to get to that?

Speaker 2 (40:45):
Yeah? Disabled, that's it. The website.

Speaker 5 (40:54):
You can open it on your Instagram.

Speaker 15 (40:56):
You can, it'll say when you on my Instagram this morning.
When I first it was like, hey, new AI Image Generator,
and the tagging part was.

Speaker 13 (41:05):
Not available just yet.

Speaker 15 (41:06):
But you know, these companies, they don't they roll things out,
which means they don't give it to everyone all at
once because it might like blow up their systems or
something might go wrong, so they just they kind of
roll it out. So even if you look for the
settings and they don't say AI just yet, you know,
give it a day or so. But yes, you can
go in there and turn this off if you want.
The thing that I think people like a privacy expert

(41:26):
or you know, might have an issue with, is this
is something that should probably not be turned on by default.
It should be something that you opt into. And I
would argue for that, but you know, Meta wants people
to use these things, and there's a lot of people
that kind of like this stuff and think it's fun.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
You know, it can take you see why they want
it could take your content so you can use it
for remixes quote unquote and all these AI generated things.
What's interesting to me though, is like you know, we
uh in this industry, We have these meetings all the time.
Medicine and I were just talking about it about like
how you need to get permission or license something like
if you want to use an image or something that
somebody has a photo that somebody took and they have

(42:03):
it on their Instagram, So is it basically implied consent
if you don't opt out of it? In otherwise if
you don't, because if all you have to do is
just at somebody, and it could it's taking from that account,
Like images were using stuff that doesn't necessarily belong to
this person. I'm assuming it's implied consent. If you don't
opt out of it, that somebody just has to act
you and that's it.

Speaker 5 (42:24):
That's all the Yeah, because of the fine lines that
no one reads.

Speaker 15 (42:27):
Yeah, yeah, and they're saying look, because it's like meta.
When you upload your stuff to them, is basically saying, hey,
we own this. Now it's ours, and you know, we
can do as we like. And one of the things
we can do is whatever we come up with in
the future, we can modify and use your stuff. So
that I think is what they're doing here, which is
you know, again, for the average person that's doing this,

(42:48):
I think a lot of people will leave this on
because they won't even know that there's an option to
turn it off, and some people may not care. I
think people will find it fun to do this. You know,
if you're making a birthday graphic for your friend or
you're just putting your friend, you know, you want to
send your friend a silly picture until it's.

Speaker 10 (43:01):
Not so well.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
And I gotta say mine was obviously a joke and
it was whimsical and hilarious. But Rich just sent me
the one he did of us, and it looks incredibly good.

Speaker 8 (43:12):
Yeah, and it didn't distort your face. Sometimes these things
make you look slightly different.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
We're talking to Rich on tech. There's been a lot
of big stories. I know one that you know, Video
Game Day was was just here. We were talking about
video games in general. Grand Theft Autos coming out and everything.
PlayStation going all digital has been the big headline.

Speaker 15 (43:32):
Yeah, So starting in January twenty twenty eight, Sony says
all new PlayStation games will be digital only at that time,
so no more physical.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
Discs for new releases.

Speaker 15 (43:42):
So until then, they will still come out with discs,
and they say, look, this is the changing times. Eighty
five percent of PlayStation game sales are already digital, so
we're just kind of moving this into that direction. I
think the main downside of this, obviously is ownership. We
all grew up in a time where you perch just
physical media. You collected it, you had it, you opened it,

(44:04):
you put it on yourselves, you traded it, you gave
it to your friends, you resold it when you were done.
All that is going out the window moving forward, because
we all know when you get something digital it is
not truly yours.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Ever again, well, I think they need to change the
name like this said, of buy or purchase, because you're
not buying your purchasing, you're you're releasing it. There was
just that big story about I forget what company did.
The rights ran out and so all these movies and
stuff disappeared off people's what's that off PlayStation?

Speaker 13 (44:30):
I think it might have been, right, Yeah, I think
it was actually Sony.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Yeah. I mean like people had movies on the bot
movies through the PlayStation. Yeah, it's gone yeah, yeah, this
with the iTunes store and yeah, but stopped calling it
by Yeah. I don't think it's really buy. What else
is happening?

Speaker 13 (44:46):
I thought this was pretty cool.

Speaker 15 (44:47):
If you guys seen this slate EV truck, it's like
a little EV truck under twenty five grand. They came
out with the price tag. Finally, it looks like a
matchbox car that I played with as a kid.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
But the whole, the whole thing is that this is.

Speaker 15 (45:01):
A startup and they're hoping to come out with these
cars by the end of the year. And twenty four
nine and fifty dollars before taxes and fees and all
that good stuff, you get about two hundred miles of range.
But when you look inside this thing, it is basically
a stripped down car. No touchscreen, no built in stereo,
manual crank windows, physical knobs for all the climate controls,

(45:24):
and there's a phone mount.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
Kind don't hate that.

Speaker 13 (45:28):
It's actually kind of cool.

Speaker 15 (45:30):
And I'm considering this because I love the idea that
you know, I'm a tech person through and through. But
when I sat inside this truck, it brought back like
memories of childhood where you had that one like weird
uncle that was like so proud of their bare bones truck.
You know, like there's nothing in this truck and you
know that. To me, that's what it brought back. And
I'm like, Okay, I could see myself on the weekends

(45:51):
just knocking around in this thing because it's so different
than you know, anything else that we have out there.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
By the way, bring it to any Yeah.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
Also, what's like about this What the big thing is
that it's insanely customizable, so you can customize it any
way you want, and like byparts off Amazon, because it
is backed by Amazon.

Speaker 2 (46:10):
Okay, because I'm looking at it right now, I'm watching
a video of it. I mean it does have the
crank windows. Yeah, very very mental, although it doesn't it
doesn't look bad. It's kind of got like thee at
least the one he has on this kind of like
a satin satin finished paint job on it, so it
looks cool. It's not bad looking. So they're all wrapped,
that's the thing. So you can get they don't even
they all come in gray.

Speaker 15 (46:31):
And then if you want to get you know, like
you said, there's like two hundred accessories you can get
at launch. You can make this thing an suv. You
can make it save a whole bunch of colors. Yeah,
there's a whole bunch of stuff. The thing is, I
customized it on the website, which you can do, by
the way, and it was like quickly up to like
thirty five grand when you had like some basic things.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
But it'd be cool, like you know, if you've got
to buy a car for your kids or something like that,
something real basic. Is it fun to drive? Does it
have power? It does have power.

Speaker 15 (46:59):
I did not get to I got to take a
ride in it, and it was super powerful, you know,
like any other EV.

Speaker 13 (47:05):
It's got a lot of torque.

Speaker 15 (47:07):
It was much roomier than I thought inside, but it
did look very stripped down.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Now here's the deal.

Speaker 15 (47:13):
How many people are gonna buy it at that base
price tag without any customizations whatsoever.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
I'm not sure. I'm sure some people will, but I
think most people are.

Speaker 15 (47:21):
Probably gonna add a wrap, add some things like you know,
but you do get air conditioning and heat and all
that good stuff.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
So that's that's good.

Speaker 5 (47:27):
Now, rich did you see kind of in the same
realm in the past forty eight hours that they came
out with that Fiat in America? That's like four ten
thousand dollars, that's all.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Yes, Yeah, we're talking to rich on Tech Rich Demiro.
You can find them on social media at rich on Tech,
rich on tech dot tv. Sign up for that newsletter.
We're gonna take a quick break and then we'll come back.
We got one more round with rich on Tech. If
you got a question they'd like us to get to
for which you can hit us up on the text
you made it And just in time, the Woody Show

(47:57):
is back. So we're talk with rich on Tech Rich
Demiro at rich on Tech on Instagram. He is a
TV tech reporter. He's got a nationwide radio show syndicated
all over the place. Tons of stations the rich on
Tech Radio show. You can check out the podcast for that.
Wherever you find your favorite podcast, subscribe to the free

(48:19):
newsletter Rich's newsletter rich on Tech dot tv, which is
also where you can find all the links to things
that we talked about here during the segment on the
Woodie Show. I keep seeing headlines. There's a lot of leaks,
I guess or rumors. There's always leaks and rumors about
like the new iPhone stuff. The foldable is a foldable phone, Rich, Yeah,

(48:41):
we got so.

Speaker 15 (48:42):
I'm actually like three big events coming up too. Are
confirmed Apple usually happens since September. Not confirmed, although if
you ask me, I kind of I kind of figure
out what date it is based on a lot of
different factors.

Speaker 13 (48:56):
But a couple of things coming up.

Speaker 15 (48:57):
So first off, a couple of weeks from now, July
twenty second in London, that is when Samsung is going
to launch their new foldable phones.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
And yes, and the exciting about Okay, not at all,
but you know we've been doing this well.

Speaker 15 (49:14):
The foldable that's interesting this year from them is a
they're supposedly coming out a wider design. So I've tested
a bunch of the foldables, and I don't really see
the point because when you open them up and you
watch a movie on there, it's kind of like in
the middle of the screen, it's the same size as
it would be on an iPhone.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
And so now it is with a stupid line design.

Speaker 15 (49:34):
Yeah, yeah, all right exactly, But this wider design, you
could theoretically open this thing up. It opens up way
wider to almost like a sixteen by nine screen inside,
and to me, that would be ideal for watching a movie,
which of course is the only reason why you'd spend
twenty five hundred dollars on a phone now rich.

Speaker 5 (49:52):
With all these leagues, I don't know, dude, I'm actually
contemplating leaving Apple and going all in what on nothing
the nothing phones headphones, Oh my gosh, because I speaking
of London. I was in London and they actually had
a store, and I talked to them and they said
that they're actually going to be opening US stores pretty
soon and they're available in Best Buy. So it's very

(50:15):
like a minimalist phone called phones. Yeah, pretty much like
dumb phone. But they have like everything like Apple has,
like the big headphones, the earbuds and everything, but it's
half the price, and dude, it is pretty clean on
the sound and the way that the phones operate.

Speaker 2 (50:33):
What about apps, it's like because you need apps for everything.

Speaker 15 (50:36):
Yeah, but it's all Android, so and I will tell
you menace. My absolute favorite phone of the past year
has been the Nothing Phone, and I went to London
for the launch of that last year, the Nothing Phone three.
It's eight hundred dollars. But I'll tell you why I
can't use it as my daily driver. I love the software,
I love the hardware. The camera's pretty good. The processor.

(51:00):
We are so used to Apple's high end processors. It
does not use the highest end processor. And I know
this is get a little nerdy, but you know, for
me it makes a difference because you notice it's a
little bit stuttery on certain things. Also, there's no satellite messaging,
which to me, I've got to have starlink on my
phone at this point, so I need that. And the
camera in low light is just okay. I mean it's good,

(51:21):
but that's what Nothing is because he needs it for
all the video.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (51:25):
Yes, yeah, you're doing content creation too.

Speaker 5 (51:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (51:30):
Maybe I'll just buy one and a half two at
the same time, and then figure it out because I
have two phone lines. That's how I text him the
show and talk crapaboutsy Beth.

Speaker 9 (51:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
Ye, I was gonna say, speaking of Apple you were
I saw you talking about, you know, testing the new
Serie AI, which you know, I don't know many people
that are fan of Siri, like kind of garbage used,
but you like it. I heard you saying that you
like it, okay when I tell you that.

Speaker 15 (51:56):
So I've been testing the new beta iOS twenty seven
on my phone with the new series AI. I don't
recommend you install the beta. It's public. Beta's coming out
any day now. It's coming out in July. I'm on
the developer beta, which is great, but there are some issues.
But anyway, I've got the new Serie AI, and I'm
not kidding it is game changing. Think about it this way.
So Siri is now finally smart. It understands every single

(52:18):
thing you're asking it, So even if you don't say
it in like a certain way, it will still figure
it out. Number two, It's got all the world's information,
So just like chat GBT, you can ask it anything
you want about the world, about data, about information, more
so than just sports, scores and weather, but also it
can understand what's on your screen. So the other day
I was shopping at home depot. I wanted something for

(52:40):
my patio, and I was like, Hey, here's the size
of my patio. How many of these do I need
to order to fit my patio? Looked at my screen,
looked at the dimensions, and it figured all of that
out and it was wrong, but hey, it was I
ended up having to order one more.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
That's pretty cool though.

Speaker 15 (52:57):
But it's just gotten a lot better, and I think
people are gonna I mean I I do. I'm not
going to cry for chat cybt, but I think that
a lot of people are going to replace a lot
of the searches they do on chat ebt and just
use Siri on their phone because it's gotten that much better. Man.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
I've heard so many people recently and I have not
checked it out. But the one that everybody I hear
talking about is Claude.

Speaker 5 (53:17):
Yeah, that's the number one. Claude is Ethropic. Yeah, I'm
not messed with any of it's the best one.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
It's a it's chat cept I'll mess with them. And
then the other one is Gemini.

Speaker 15 (53:29):
I think it's debatable which one's the best because they
all do different things. They all do different things well,
and I use I use a combination of chat, CYBT, Gemini,
and Siri.

Speaker 13 (53:40):
I I play with Claude.

Speaker 15 (53:41):
But here's the thing this and this is the problem
with like everyone is getting so deep into AI. The
more you work with this particular chatbot, the more it
gets to know you, and so it's really tough to switch.

Speaker 13 (53:52):
And these companies know that I turned.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
All those settings off, just like that Instagram thing you
were talking about. I turned all the like the memorization
all that. I turned all that off. Time I go
in there for a thing, it's it's all brand new.

Speaker 5 (54:02):
Yeah, I'll say this with CLO it has the most
current information, Like with chatb T. Like let's say we're
looking for like news and stuff, I'll give us like
all this old crap I'm telling like, I can get
like within the past hour of the most current information
of news and things.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
You know what sucks the most about chat GPT. I
don't know if you agree with this, Rich, I mean,
like I don't need Reddit to be the number one
source for when I'm looking for information. It's like when
people used to quote Wikipedia.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
Yeah, there's a lot of Facebook and Reddit.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Yeah, because it'll lists source. So now I go in there,
I go, hey, uh, not using Reddit as any type
of reference. Yeah, ask you know, find like to prompt
it that way, because like Reddit's garbage, Reddit has its
own AI. You can go to reddit dot com slash answers,
they have their own AI. Some people actually like Reddit
stuff because it based on actual factors, based on just

(54:53):
all these people who are on there with their opinions.

Speaker 5 (54:55):
Well, no, it's not just that's in the comments section,
but like in the like they're sharing other information other
like web links to stories.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
And sometimes it's a lot of like echo chamber stuff.

Speaker 10 (55:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (55:10):
I mean, oh, if you go in the in the
fan spot, but I'm talking about going into like the
news feeds and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Just for Reddit.

Speaker 15 (55:17):
I would just say that there's so many different communities
on Reddit where experts do kind of linger in those
places and share their knowledge.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
So I do think that there is a benefit to that.

Speaker 15 (55:26):
I do think that it's not always and no matter
where you're getting your information online, you should double check
and one person's opinion is not the end all.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
Well, let's talk one more thing here. With Rich I
keep saying dumb phones. And I saw that scrap booking
is making a comeback. Sammy, I'm not sure if you're
a scrap booker. Yeah, you know, we talk about like
how all the analog stuff has become more popular, going
back to physical photographs instead of digital photographs. Well, how
about journaling? And I know that you have this one thing,

(55:56):
what is it called, It's called June or something. This
sounds excepting that, like you know, Gina or Sammy might
be in, sounds pretty hokey. Okay, I don't know.

Speaker 13 (56:04):
You gotta you gotta tell me what you think.

Speaker 15 (56:06):
Now, I'm not like a necessarily a journal guy, but
I see the I see the allure of you know,
for mental health, for just like logging and cataloging your
life and just kind of talking things out. There's many
benefits to journaling. And I've done enough stories on these
digital journals that you know, I sort of understand the
benefits to them. But the problem is you have to

(56:27):
keep one and sitting there writing something down every day.
A lot of people don't have time to do that,
or they don't want to, or they don't know where
to start.

Speaker 13 (56:33):
So this journal it's called June AI. The website is
talk June dot com.

Speaker 15 (56:39):
It calls you every night. I have mindset for seven
pm and then it asks you questions. And it's like
the best friend you've ever had, because not only does
it ask the best follow up questions, but it can
ask you a follow up question a week later or
six months later because it remembers everything that you tell it.
So it asks you a bunch of questions, Hey, how

(56:59):
did your day go, how did you feel about this?
What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Speaker 2 (57:02):
Whatever?

Speaker 15 (57:03):
And then it creates your journal entry for you, and
then the next time it calls you, it follows up
on all of those things and you have your journal.

Speaker 4 (57:11):
Okay, that's pretty interesting. But Woodie, you tell me right
away why I'm out completely on this privacy, not.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
That I don't know.

Speaker 15 (57:18):
I know.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
It's not talk on the phone, thank you.

Speaker 4 (57:21):
I do not want to be called every night.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
I shouldn't want to talk on the phone.

Speaker 8 (57:24):
Sounds like something you would love, Greg, No way, because
when would anybody go back and read that.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
I don't get Maybe I don't get journaling to begin
with that.

Speaker 4 (57:32):
It's remembering what you said. So I'm going to ask
you questions later to keep going.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
I want that.

Speaker 5 (57:36):
I feel like you love talking to it.

Speaker 13 (57:40):
Well, that's the thing I don't really understand about journaling,
Like who is this for?

Speaker 15 (57:44):
Is it for me to just get my thoughts out
of my anger and whatever, my my my wins, my losses,
or is it like something I eventually leave my kids
and they open this thing up.

Speaker 13 (57:53):
And then burning with my entire life journey, which I
don't know if they want.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
That, you know, because if you're like a celebrity of
some kind, you know what I mean, Like you had
like some kind of like I'm saying, like an account
like oh hey, I wonder what's up with so and
so today? And they had an account where they just
took these things of this thing generated and just posted
it up there about here, here's what went on and
so and So's life today. But for other yeah, for
like other people, for like a more of a business

(58:17):
purpose than you know, you going back and checking it
out anyway. We got rich to me are rich on

Speaker 5 (58:58):
What's going on with? Start with the Angels.

Speaker 11 (59:01):
They beat up on the Rangers yesterday thirteen to one.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
There's a fly ball left center failed. Mike Trout celebrating
the anniversary ubb IS major lead debut with another home run.

Speaker 11 (59:12):
Congratulations Mike Trout. Joe Adell also had a couple home runs,
same two teams. Tonight at five oh five. Dodgers bounced
back from a shaky start by Rokie Sasaki and beat
the Rockies four to three. And don't forget we got
those Woody Show Dodgers sweet tickets today and tomorrow seven am. Yeah,
this hour coming up in a few minutes, and of
course the eight am hour as well includes food and parking.

Speaker 5 (59:33):
WNBA Sparks beat.

Speaker 11 (59:34):
Caitlin Clark in the Fever one O six ninety two,
Nika Ogumuke with twenty four points. World Cup only one
match today, that's France and Morocco at one pm.

Speaker 5 (59:44):
And finally this morning.

Speaker 11 (59:45):
You know, Connor McGregor is back in Octagon this weekend
fighting Holloway, and he switched up his training and focus
for the fight.

Speaker 5 (59:52):
Listen up, I've practiced.

Speaker 11 (59:53):
I'm staining also in this campas the first time I
have a do from any type of physical touch, if
you will.

Speaker 5 (59:58):
That's been intense.

Speaker 2 (59:59):
I'm excited see what.

Speaker 5 (01:00:00):
It brings on Saturday night. Have a good night Saturday.
All across the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
That's right, dude, because he's a.

Speaker 5 (01:00:07):
He's like horn dog for sure.

Speaker 6 (01:00:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
He he has anything that walks.

Speaker 5 (01:00:12):
He slid into at least two of my friends dms.

Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
Yeah, so good luck with that, bro.

Speaker 5 (01:00:16):
And by the way, does it really make a difference
for the fight? I mean, I don't know, but you
hear about that with baseball players.

Speaker 6 (01:00:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:00:22):
I mean to me, if I'm humping, I'm more relaxed,
you know what I mean, and ready to go.

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
You don't want to be relaxed.

Speaker 5 (01:00:26):
Maybe you wanted all that aggressive.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
I don't know. Man.

Speaker 5 (01:00:29):
Well, anyway, happy birthday to wish on a football energy.
Stephanie who listens every morning.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
I'm Jeff G.

Speaker 5 (01:00:34):
And that's your so Cols for Jeff.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
So Menace. Netflix is doing a documentary kind of like
supersized Me, but about fried chicken.

Speaker 5 (01:00:49):
Yeah handle, it don't need it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
I remember one point Menace was saying that he was
eating healthy. Oh remember that he was on a healthcare
but it was all fried chickens, fried chicken place it is,
which was better than what he had been doing before.

Speaker 5 (01:01:07):
I don't know, four later burgers and stuff like that.

Speaker 10 (01:01:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
Yeah, so they were doing a document I always forget
that Morgan's Furlock guy died. Yeah, super size.

Speaker 4 (01:01:19):
Yeah, kind of a scam too.

Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
He got all skinny and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
Well yeah, but it was skinny already.

Speaker 16 (01:01:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
But after supercise, they realized that all of his symptoms
were from alcohol and not from right.

Speaker 15 (01:01:28):
He was.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
Stuck on that losers like the.

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Doctors like, I've never seen a liver like that except
for alcoholics.

Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
Yeah, and that now I can't supersize anything because a
whole yeh, I just real quick, R I p to
heart attack grill.

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
And it's been over six months now. Yeah, that wasn't
It was back and people were in there. I was
just there in March what not at the restaurant. But
I was walking down Freemont walk right past it, pointed
out to my buddy who had never seen it before.
In March it was still going. Yeah, sad, there were
a ton of people, and there was a ton of
people in there. I don't know why I was surprised. Yeah,

(01:02:10):
May eighteenth.

Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
Yeah, he was citing costs and corporate greed, the honor.
He was a character man.

Speaker 5 (01:02:20):
Yeah, yeah, he was super funny.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Yeah. Uh, we get lyrics wrong from time to time,
misheard lyrics. What was the one, Greg you always point
out to? It was your friend, that was it? There
was well, mine was always little red Corvette and I
thought it was little Babe, come on back?

Speaker 13 (01:02:38):
Really yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
And then uh, there was another example, maybe somebody else
in there. I forget who it was.

Speaker 6 (01:02:44):
What was it?

Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
Anyway, you sing a song for a ton of like
a big, huge, popular song, and you have it wrong
the entire time, and you have no idea, You have
no idea. Apparently we have been singing a line from
Guns and Roses Welcome to the Jungle wrong this entire time. Him,
really yeah, and never realized it. So here we go. Okay,

(01:03:09):
what's the next line?

Speaker 5 (01:03:10):
Come down, down, so down.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
But the lyrics are actually suck down, suck down, suck
down slash. His girlfriend posted a photo of him standing,
you know, by the teleprompter that shows the lyrics while
they're on stage and stuff, and that's those are the
actual lyrics. And if you listen carefully, sucked down, what

(01:03:44):
does it mean? We've been we've been saying it wrong
this entire time.

Speaker 5 (01:03:47):
Okay, but why yeah, sucking down?

Speaker 10 (01:03:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:03:51):
They wrote the song talk to high You're a suck at?

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Was that, mister Brownstone? That's also true?

Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Well, I know a lot of straight guys get high
and then start sucking down.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
He won't leave me lone. That's that's what it's, mister Brownstone. Right,
what could be? They could have two heroines songs? Don't anyway,
We've we've got it wrong. Eight seven seven forty four

another new out. It's The Woodie Show Woodie Greg Menace Yeah,
we got Gina Gras. Yeah, they're sea masks and he's
gonna tell us what he's got for us.

Speaker 6 (01:04:54):
The Weekend Audio a little round of whose side are
you on? This is a video going around this week
where a a lady and her friends they sat down
for emil at Texas.

Speaker 2 (01:05:03):
Roadhouse, the Bad my dad's favorite place.

Speaker 6 (01:05:06):
Its great, and something happened to her that happened to
me a while back. I'll remind you guys in a
minute where they were having a conversation like, hey, we
were just out of the pool and blah blah blah
blah blah, and we had some drinks and that alerted
the server who went to go talk to a manager
who came to ask them about their drinks and whether
they should be ordering more drinks because they wanted to
have drinks at the Texas Roadhouse.

Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
Now they cut them off like they were maybe too
intoxicated already.

Speaker 6 (01:05:29):
Potentially they were curious about that, okay, And that's what
these ladies did not like that question whatsoever, because she worked.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
Well, why would she be coming over grown as adults
about what they had a full friday thrown just because they.

Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
Were not uber were not was she was the manager.

Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
Mom over here. Yeah, yes, anywhere you're going off with pias.

Speaker 16 (01:06:10):
We got.

Speaker 6 (01:06:13):
And so yes, they know anybody who's worked in a
restaurant they do this like serve say for whatever training
where you can't you know, because if if you do
get somebody loaded and they leave because people have turned
around you exactly. The restaurants don't want to do it.
They want to get you drunk as hell.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
They don't care.

Speaker 6 (01:06:33):
But because like what he said, they get sued.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Now this happens. So maybe if people like you guys
would stop trying to cause trouble with every little thing.

Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
And by the way, the response to this is not oh,
you're going on TikTok, you're going on YouTube.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Yeah, because you know, you threaten stuff like that. That's
why these policies are in place, because you're the kind
of person, if you did get over served, is going
to turn around and making an issue. You're the kind
of person who when they don't get there what they
want is going to try to burn the place down
through posting videos online. Right the second you're comes out
and okay, now this happened, got through everything against the
wall happened to me. Yeah, exactly. Well that too, and

(01:07:07):
it stopped.

Speaker 6 (01:07:07):
He lose the high ground once you start throwing out
those two things, I'm gonna put you on YouTube, your
racial profile. That this happened to me, I was with
my then girlfriend. We were getting racial profiled, yepies. We
had a couple of drinks and we sat down at
the bar at the movie theater. And again, we both
adults in our thirties at the time, we weren't I

(01:07:27):
can promise you we weren't hammerd we weren't making noise.
It's just me and a lady. And the guy overheard
that we talked about like something we'd had earlier, and
he's and he would not serve us before going in
the movie theater because he said, it's some teenage idiot.

Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
Yeah, yell, yell, get lit.

Speaker 6 (01:07:43):
Okay, you recall I went next door to the Buffalo
Wild Wings, got a yard full of beer pants like
in front of the.

Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
I guess what.

Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
We sat and enjoyed the movie with the ladies. Well
I did, until you can you again, you lose the
high ground when you while talking about YouTube and.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Uber and yeah, there's a lot of things I wish
weren't the way that they are, but they are because
people are a holes.

Speaker 6 (01:08:07):
Yeah, yeah, here's a proper response. If I'm the ladies, Hey,
I know you're just doing your job, no problem, I
get it. But when you start getting offended and raising
your voice and causing a scene, you're in.

Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
The rat does no fun.

Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
This week in audio, all right, who side are you on? Here?
To lesbians? Greg Nice, They are on their side. And
then I'm just.

Speaker 6 (01:08:26):
Gonna say this because you brought it up. They're not
super hot lesbian.

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
Okay, I'm keeping an open mind.

Speaker 6 (01:08:33):
They're in the mall and something we don't As with
all these things, we never have the initial problem, we
have the aftermath. They were taking photos or doing something
where the mall security didn't like it, so he asked
them to leave and stop taking photos. And then he
notices that as they're outside, they're videoing the confrontation and
it goes like.

Speaker 10 (01:08:51):
This, I'm telling you, I'm telling you not to do it,
and you guys are I'm telling you not to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
These he goes for their camera.

Speaker 4 (01:09:20):
That was man, women are so emotional, you know, yeah,
they just.

Speaker 2 (01:09:24):
Handle gets a keeper clip right there. What big secrets
are at the mall? That you're afraid that they're going
to capture on film.

Speaker 6 (01:09:37):
Right, and he they weren't breaking any kind And then,
by the way, the security guard has been fired, and
I don't think there's any he doesn't have a leg
to stand a job either.

Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
Like, yeah, they weren't.

Speaker 6 (01:09:46):
They were making out and like putting their hands down
each other's pants.

Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
That's the first problem kids at home. That's so.

Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
Yeah, I think it's pretty clear that the security guard
was the man that fall there.

Speaker 2 (01:09:58):
On the lesbians. All right.

Speaker 6 (01:10:00):
This week in audio speaking, we got good freak out
audio from the the A fan of the World Cup
is a Mexico fans. They're getting that they're about to
you know, they're losing to England, and a lot of.

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
These can be staged.

Speaker 6 (01:10:11):
I don't think this one was because you could tell
this is like the uncle that's a maniac and they're
kind of standing to the side and behind him. So
Mexico is losing. He's standing on just standing there and uh,
I saw this video feeling the pain. Yeah, I'm with you,
because a lot of those, like where you see they
destroy the TV immedia. Yeah, someone sitting there with a
camera right in their face, you know, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
Yeah, this one was just like all right man, and.

Speaker 6 (01:10:34):
No one can SPADs this well if you can on
cute last and Sea Bass the first one to try
to stiff out some kind of stage. That's what I
love about AI because I'll pluck every every single video
clip I get.

Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
I say, hey, is this stager and they'll and I'll
say no, this was on the news and the bit right, Yeah,
this one. When I saw it, I didn't do what
he did, and you know, go through AI, but it
feels very real. This guy's losing it, his legs get weak,

(01:11:10):
they bring him down the floor. They're voting on each arm.

Speaker 11 (01:11:16):
Yeah, it's like a guy at a grave side almost
like yes, I can save some gas.

Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
In the tank for like when your wife dies.

Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Yeah, you're right, because I said so. Damn this Weekend audio.
Oh this is a kid.

Speaker 6 (01:11:33):
I didn't know they had these and it's kind of
sad but kind of cool at the same time. They
have a sports broadcasting like summer camp. Oh oh I
know this kid.

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Yes, this reminds me of Tyler. How you're Reskin Tyler
and he had this Rainman type memory of all these
different uh, you know, we asked my WrestleMania, we got
Undertaker to.

Speaker 6 (01:11:56):
So this is, yeah, this kid's like maybe thirteen or something,
and he has, you know, a condition of some sort,
but a good condition. Phillip's remember every single team's record
since two thousand and nine. So you give em every
NFL teams, you give him like the twenty fourteen Bengals,
and he'll say week one did and so and so
in front of the whole camp. They had him turn around.

(01:12:16):
They just pulled up a random team, you know, shout
out a name, shout out of team the.

Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Raiders for this one.

Speaker 6 (01:12:21):
And so they just start running through weeks and the
kid does.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
This Detexans.

Speaker 9 (01:12:28):
Week three Okay, no, no, I'm not forget and I
just need to remind myself.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
And he went through the whole schedule. He got I
just gotta he has the perfect voice, dude, I mean like,
oh yeah, he sounds like sounds like a lover. Yeah.
The best part was when he got to week five
and he's like, oh, they had to.

Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
Buy you here.

Speaker 14 (01:12:58):
Week three, Okay, pull up, give me.

Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
No, No, I'm not forgetting.

Speaker 5 (01:13:03):
I just need to remind myself.

Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Yeah, he just keeps going.

Speaker 5 (01:13:27):
That was pretty easy. It's the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Of course they're losing every at menace for all your
Raiders fans.

Speaker 6 (01:13:33):
Raiders being said, I don't know how he's gonna beat
off all the girls for the next for his entire life,
get used to be.

Speaker 13 (01:13:43):
Can we have this?

Speaker 6 (01:13:43):
This is can we just can we pre sign him
up for love on the spectrum?

Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
Just him because he's not gonna get any Yeah, this kid, dude,
he was killing him man, And that would have been
a fun I thought that would have been a fun
camp to go to.

Speaker 16 (01:13:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:13:55):
I mean my dad was in that business and if
there was a camp he could have gone to as
a child, he would have loved it.

Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
Aren't you.

Speaker 6 (01:14:00):
Aren't you pre selecting your kid to be a loser
because every other kid go into basketball camp or football
camp or.

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
No, that's fun sports, like other kids are gonna think
that's fun. And I don't think you'd get ostracized for that.
I don't think you get beat up for going to
where Jana sent her steps on last Summer Time, the
musical theater camp I tried the whole time.

Speaker 8 (01:14:21):
When you really think about it, you have a better
chance of making it as a sportscaster than you do
as an athlete, so.

Speaker 4 (01:14:26):
There's not that many sports.

Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
That's true the show, and we'll go right back to
Sea Bass, who continues on with Today.

Speaker 6 (01:14:35):
In Audio with a menace submission. Here he found an
inside edition, which we do enjoy inside editions. I found
a story they did about some actual some other radio
people and a stunt that is getting them is some
national attention. Uh huh. Here they are telling you all
about it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
This woman is.

Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
Wearing her wedding dress to work and she says, for
good reason, she wants Taylors to finally release a photo
of her wedding gown.

Speaker 14 (01:15:03):
Do you think we're going to get a photo of it?

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
I mean yes, but what I.

Speaker 17 (01:15:07):
Thought for sure it was going to be earlier this
week and we still haven't seen it.

Speaker 14 (01:15:10):
So when is she going to drop the photo?

Speaker 13 (01:15:12):
We're ready for it.

Speaker 9 (01:15:13):
J Loo was there.

Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
Anna Zapp post of the radio show Anna and Raven
and Milford, Connecticut, made a video asking other women to
join her in the playful protest.

Speaker 7 (01:15:22):
In honor of Taylor Swift getting married and we still
haven't seen her dress.

Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
Post a picture of your wedding dress. Here we go.
I don't hate it, you know, what it's getting them
attention exactly right, and it's not.

Speaker 6 (01:15:33):
Like I know, it's not in our realm. But can
you imagine Number one? Okay, I get it if you're
a seventy five year old soccer mom station, I get it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
That makes sense.

Speaker 6 (01:15:42):
But can you imagine if you're Inside Edition. Well let's
go up to Milford, Connecticut.

Speaker 5 (01:15:46):
We got to show this.

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
So I guess it's her wedding dress. So I guess
that's more of a statement on Inside Edition than it
is this radio show. I don't hate it. I'm for them.
I'm sure they're like some kind of mom you know,
mom station.

Speaker 5 (01:15:57):
I'm sure everybody in the town is talking about it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
Now.

Speaker 6 (01:16:01):
Yeah, you can hear them on do you hear them
on the ninety three to five? The bubble is what
it's called the bubble of the dude. Look, they are
on probably fifty stations. Okay, this morning show, This morning show,
that that where the big thing is.

Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
When Ravenna and what he would know? He knows all
these people, I don't. I don't know them.

Speaker 6 (01:16:20):
I think I think all the all the people were
firing getting replaced by Anna and what's his face?

Speaker 5 (01:16:23):
Anna? And Raven because I thought they were based out
of somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
But I'm not.

Speaker 6 (01:16:27):
I'm not hating on them. I'm not hating on that
an idea for what they what they do, yeah, makes
make zero sense. But anyways, Unfortunately Woody, some people were
hating on them. The next day, Anna and Raven went
to the inside Edish in Instagram post and read some
of the mean comments.

Speaker 17 (01:16:44):
Oh no, these extremely parasocial delusions need to be studied.

Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
Yeah, I'm a parasocial you can't say. In my opinion,
she's just dragging about the fact that she could still fit.

Speaker 5 (01:16:56):
In that dress. Okay, so what's the what's the problem
with that?

Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
That's also true? Yeah, no, check it out, It's still
fit my wedding dress. They were very being sickly skinny. Wow, cool,
thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:17:07):
Also, they see I'm going through and I'm seeing stuff
like this dried up old coups needs to hang it up.

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Here. And much like much like politics, just saying Taylor
Swift or Travis Kelsey's name triggers people into anger and
because they're burned out on it or they hate the
fact that they're popular. You know what's weird. I don't
care about Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce really at all.
Travis Kelts is a great player. I do enjoy watching

(01:17:34):
you know, uh you know the Chiefs. I like Patrick Mahomes,
I like Kelsey. They're an exciting, you know, team to
watch or whatever I'm saying. But like Taylor Swift, I
hate to admit so many catchy songs like it is
the overexposure becomes annoying. But I think what they have
is real, and I think they're truly I think I
think they're truly happy. It's so good for them.

Speaker 6 (01:17:56):
Will you wear your tug your wedding tux?

Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
Since I don't, I don't care that way. But I
think it's weird. I think it's weird that people get
so upset just by the sheer mention of them.

Speaker 4 (01:18:06):
Here's are obsessed on both sides.

Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
To you know, be upset about you know, this show
doing the wedding dress thing or here, or to be
so triggered to leave a comment on a post about it.

Speaker 6 (01:18:17):
Not triggered, but just this one says, did she knock
the mothballs out of that thing? I'm not talking about
the wedding dress. I'm talking about from between her legs.
I mean she has an old gross lady, but.

Speaker 4 (01:18:28):
Not very feminist.

Speaker 6 (01:18:29):
Why are you paying?

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
Are you picking a fight and choosing violence with the show.
We don't even know, We don't know them, never heard
of them at all. It's not a bad idea.

Speaker 6 (01:18:36):
Again and again for a little behind the scenes radio,
Like every day after the show, these stay after these
people will get together and say, hey.

Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
What can we do?

Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
What's okay Travison biggest story in our world?

Speaker 2 (01:18:47):
And what can we do?

Speaker 5 (01:18:48):
How can we make it about us?

Speaker 6 (01:18:50):
Well, yeah they have Well they haven't released our wedding
dress photo in three days yet, So these.

Speaker 5 (01:18:54):
People actually had an idea that got them attention. Like
you said, every day people try to do that here and.

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
That's literally your job, yeah, is to go out and
do these things. Gathering the juggalos, cart narts.

Speaker 6 (01:19:05):
Right, I think those are I think those are more
interesting and organic because those.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Come from our audience for their audience. This is absolutely
right down.

Speaker 7 (01:19:13):
You know, many women have held onto their wedding dress
even though that they're not ever going to wear it again,
but would be dying for an excuse to do it
and then jump on this training exactly all do it
because we all want to wear wedding dresses.

Speaker 6 (01:19:25):
Anyway, this is a narcissism train. This is the same
problem I had back.

Speaker 2 (01:19:28):
No, No, it's that the audience will No, that is.

Speaker 6 (01:19:32):
That's just you saying that I'm providing evidence. This is
someone this They said, Hey, you're not a narcissist.

Speaker 2 (01:19:38):
No, yeah, it's not.

Speaker 6 (01:19:39):
It's not deflect No, I'm just asking the question. No,
go go, we've gone We've gone through this exercise before.
I didn't have any of the classical traits. Uh, but
this is But what Sammy just nailed it on the head.
This is big news story. How can we make it
about us? What Trementa said? And how can we how
can we help other people make it about them? So
that's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
And there's the overarching point that we as American citizens
have the right to see this photo. That's the point.
She deserves to see it, We all deserve. Where is
the photo? We have to see it?

Speaker 6 (01:20:15):
Well, even her and her like her telling of her
reason for it, like she didn't believe what she was saying. Yeah,
yeah she was just this is the excuse we made up.
Thanks for coming well, but again big success for them.
Anna and Raven check it out. I've never I've never.
I got to write that down, Anna, and like, that's
so raven kind of thing. You know, if we can
steal there, and we can steal one of their sentiments.
They have couples Court where couples send in their disagreements.

Speaker 2 (01:20:40):
Let's do that, dude. I don't I don't hate that idea.
That sounds like a good idea. The calls are real
too well whatever, it sounds a good idea. Premise, it
sounds like a good idea. The premise of is good.
I don't know how they execute it. I don't know.
I've never heard of them until today.

Speaker 4 (01:20:54):
We can't make this clearer.

Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
I just don't know why you're picking a fight with
this soccer moms. This to me for a reason.

Speaker 6 (01:21:01):
Yeah, because he wanted to cover it. He wants to
start the.

Speaker 2 (01:21:03):
Radio war we're starting.

Speaker 6 (01:21:07):
We're picking out the little kids or the old kids
in school.

Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
I guess all right.

Speaker 6 (01:21:11):
This weekend audio, uh speaking of old people, great old
people audio from CBS twelve South Florida.

Speaker 14 (01:21:18):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (01:21:18):
This this one pretty much tells itself.

Speaker 16 (01:21:20):
And I'm gonna do every reason I can not do die.

Speaker 14 (01:21:23):
James Grayson mcmickon says it was just a routine Friday night,
grabbed his fishing pole and made one cast into the
canal behind his North Fort Myers.

Speaker 16 (01:21:32):
Home restored room, and it jumped out of the water
and grabbed me.

Speaker 14 (01:21:35):
Grayson says. The gator clamped down on his right leg,
pulled him into the water.

Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
He rolled me down off the bank into the water.
I shut my thumb in one eye, and I just
took that fishing pole and gabbed him in that other
eye and jabbed him and jabbed him and jabbed him.
It am like for everbody. It wasn't that long.

Speaker 16 (01:21:54):
I've always heard that if you got no other choice,
you get them eyes.

Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
Well, we were supposed to put our thumbs in dog's butts, Yeah, finger,
did you try the butt? Stop fighting? Yeah, you're supposed
to put our thumbs into the eyes of gas sharks
of her You can't.

Speaker 6 (01:22:11):
You can't get to a gators butt. But their eyes
are right there.

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
Yeah, there is the gators butt. Is it on the
back on the underside?

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
Imagine?

Speaker 6 (01:22:18):
Probably cloaka, probably.

Speaker 8 (01:22:20):
That's it's one of those cloak That's what chickens have
or birds heard them before. New word you've had. We've
talked about every.

Speaker 6 (01:22:31):
You've been to middle you went to middle school biology,
that's he that's all. No, we don't remember learning about
the kloacae. That's always.

Speaker 8 (01:22:40):
I'm just we're learning about Anna and Raven and Cloaca,
so many new things. I saw this great video the
other day. A guy was in Florida standing next to
like a pond, and he says, people often ask me,
how can you tell what waters have a gator in Florida?
What you do is you lean down and you tap
the top of the surface and if if it's wet.

Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
It's got Yeah. No, kid, I won't step through a
puddle in Florida swimming. I just assume there's a gator
in there. Show. Yeah, let's wrap up going back to
sea Bass.

Speaker 6 (01:23:12):
Here this week in audio, you have more old people
being adorable and also from Inside Edition they love visiting
old late old people birthday parties, Old old people birthday parties.

Speaker 5 (01:23:25):
The best audio from old people birthday party exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:23:27):
Miss Normous Swan, Wisconsin turning one hundred and one, so
of course she had one hundred and one Dalmations theme
party donations and I know it's greg you want to
know how do I get to be one hundred one?

Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
What's your secret? I don't like the answer, all right,
So what's her secret to longevity?

Speaker 4 (01:23:44):
Exercise? Don't don't sit around.

Speaker 5 (01:23:48):
I never sat still never when I was I was
always busy doing something and a lot of work outside
I think fresh air.

Speaker 2 (01:23:57):
Gud sean, I mean greg outside exercise, workout, exercise traditionally
not so much.

Speaker 10 (01:24:05):
What was you?

Speaker 6 (01:24:05):
Have you ever think I thought about a like a
mini farm, a hobby farm whatever they call it, like
like two acres.

Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
You know, you get little corn, a little bit chicken
corn in her backyard that it's looking good. Yeah, it's
getting pretty tall corn. Yeah, in her backyard. So guess
up against the fence.

Speaker 6 (01:24:25):
While we're talking farming this week on a whim ordered
a dwarf Cavendish banana plants, so like about four feet
tall and like pre grown. So these little banana plants
they only rode about six eight feet and they give
you real bananaes.

Speaker 2 (01:24:39):
And you think we'll see best.

Speaker 6 (01:24:41):
You live in an apartment, you really on the place.
I'm I'm gonna go find up. I've got some spots,
I've eyed out some spots.

Speaker 2 (01:24:49):
I'm going to this thing or the project.

Speaker 6 (01:24:52):
Yeah yeah, and just like put up in tend to
my little like fake community garden in the space that's
not yours. Well, trust me they no one's keept taking
care of this space. It's it's one of those it's
not it's not private property, it's city area, but it's
it's fully like they don't get.

Speaker 2 (01:25:09):
Let me ask a question, Like somebody puts a sign
up for their business on a public sidewalk. Sure, yeah,
you will. You will cut that down and remove it.

Speaker 6 (01:25:17):
And I think that's pretty equivalent to a plant.

Speaker 2 (01:25:19):
You know what I'm saying. But like, but you're putting
your own personal thing, you know, you're putting your own
personal things somewhere that is not This is a man
who's a master of analogies. I think it's a fair question. Greg,
would you think that's a fair question.

Speaker 4 (01:25:30):
Okay, that's something in space that isn't yours.

Speaker 2 (01:25:33):
I agree that he's the king of bad analogy. Yes,
but this I see. So this is where he's splitting hair.
It's not your but.

Speaker 6 (01:25:44):
Here's there's nature in nature. Here's the major gigantic difference.
Why this is a terrible analogy. They by putting up
their psychic sign and chaining it to whatever a tree
they are de beautifying the area. Again, I'm not talking
about somebody in someplace that's perfectly lands. Just plant looks
like what's it called dwarf cavendish banana. It's a it's
like this big tropical looking thing I am putting again,

(01:26:07):
like Mena said, nature, nature, And again the places I'm
looking at are disgusting and unkempt.

Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
To begin with, Are there any existing plum trees on
this lot?

Speaker 15 (01:26:17):
So?

Speaker 4 (01:26:17):
Yeah, so now it'll be disgusting with I am beautifying
and the area.

Speaker 6 (01:26:23):
So I'm doing the exact opposite of what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:26:25):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 13 (01:26:26):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (01:26:26):
Is it a nice looking tree?

Speaker 4 (01:26:29):
It looks like walking around Florida basically like big banana
leaves bananas.

Speaker 6 (01:26:33):
In the middle of like a dwarf a lot only grows,
like I said, six eight feet max.

Speaker 5 (01:26:38):
Because on a kind of the yeah no, no, see that.

Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
Yeah, Ill we'll follow along.

Speaker 6 (01:26:44):
With my little horticultural experiment.

Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
I kind of want one now.

Speaker 6 (01:26:47):
And by the way, speaking of letting out things into
the wild, if there are certain neighborhoods in America that
I'm doing carton Arcs. I've seen it all over the
place where there's wild chickens. I mean, forget Hawaii, they're
everywhere in Hawaii. But like Austin has, I think I
might do that with chickens, I was like, Oh, just
let them go.

Speaker 2 (01:27:02):
Free, let them free feed the local coyotes. Hundred one
year old.

Speaker 6 (01:27:07):
It's kind of bad when as one hundred one, she's
sounded pretty decent. There when your son sounds worse than
you do.

Speaker 14 (01:27:12):
My mother knows how to take in negative and it.

Speaker 2 (01:27:18):
Comes out as positive. Wow, teeth, it's probably eighty right.
It sucks when she still can't get away from being
the tooth fairy. Right, you're one hundred years old and
you still got to play the tooth fairy. Her son
showed up to her Dalmatians. He's wearing a white wife
beater with black painted on spots. He looks like he's.

Speaker 6 (01:27:38):
Seventy five pounds every weight. This week in audio, Well,
let's get some real life advice. When you do you
need that, you go to thirteen year old boys. Of course,
here is a little guessing game. If you haven't seen
this yet, thirteen year old boy almost lost his life
and this is what he.

Speaker 9 (01:27:52):
Learned, anything can happen at any moment. You just gotta
you gotta like be ready for it. You've gotta be
nice to everybody. You know. It can end whenever you
It can end whenever you want.

Speaker 2 (01:28:03):
Man, it can end whenever you want. I mean, if
we knew that, whenever you want to off the bridge
or something, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:28:09):
I think what he meant was they could end at
any time. Yeah, be a good person. This is from
KPRC too.

Speaker 2 (01:28:14):
So what are we guessing? What happened to him? How
did he almost diet? I got hit by a car
on his bike. That's good one.

Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
Yeah, yeah, let's go lightning.

Speaker 2 (01:28:21):
Maybe his maybe his mom gave him money too early.
Oh yeah, that'll do it. Or peanuts? Yeah, animal attack?

Speaker 6 (01:28:28):
Yeah, woman, Gina, Now that's here's what happened. Really, Okay, congratulations.

Speaker 7 (01:28:34):
Gain, The thirteen year old says, the shock from the
lightning struck him in the abdomen.

Speaker 9 (01:28:39):
I just like jumped out really fast, and I just like,
I don't know, I started screaming. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:28:44):
It was crazy.

Speaker 6 (01:28:45):
But actually he was playing he was indoors playing video games.
I guess you didn't have a protect Wait.

Speaker 4 (01:28:49):
Wait, wait, wait, wait, that really makes the difference the
search protector.

Speaker 6 (01:28:53):
Oh yes, yes, because it basically's exactly what it does,
is it. It fries the it fries at the protection point.
It flies that like the power strip, but it'll fry that.
That was just whatever, I mean, I have one. I
thought it was just so you could have more outlets
in one place. Well, there are power strips that don't
have the search protection like the real basic one idea
fries the search protector therefore stops yesterday.

Speaker 5 (01:29:14):
You can actually get one on the outside of your
house from the electrical.

Speaker 4 (01:29:17):
People on those nightmare unlocked again.

Speaker 2 (01:29:21):
If you had nightmareage your house.

Speaker 4 (01:29:24):
Playing video games and getting electrocuted by lightning, that's pretty.

Speaker 5 (01:29:27):
Crazy, yeah, to Martha Stewart, like the sink.

Speaker 2 (01:29:31):
Yeah, but you remember when you were a kid, My
mom would not let us go take a shower if
it was lightning and thunder outside. You weren't allowed to
be on the phone or on the phone. Yeah, that
was all right. Give me one more clip this week
in audio.

Speaker 6 (01:29:48):
You're gonna love this one. This man is from Howard County, Maryland.
He called the cops because his car got stolen. Oh no,
and they noticed something strange about this man.

Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
Here, Ryan. I was at McDonald's. I was when you
pulled up here.

Speaker 16 (01:30:07):
Where all did you go?

Speaker 2 (01:30:08):
I just went down here and came back.

Speaker 16 (01:30:10):
Let me get your hands real quick.

Speaker 2 (01:30:12):
Put James in your back for me for what were
you at that Verizon store?

Speaker 16 (01:30:16):
So you got blood on your hands and butter wasn't
that Verizon store, sir?

Speaker 2 (01:30:21):
I promised to God have a son. What's with the
blood on your hand? What happened to the Verizon store?

Speaker 6 (01:30:26):
Well, they already knew they were already in the area
because a Verizon store had somebody like break through the
wall apparently cut the hell out of.

Speaker 2 (01:30:34):
Blood all over his body.

Speaker 6 (01:30:35):
He's like, I'll be called the cops. I hope they
don't know the blood all over my person. I got
that at McDonald's. And then the cops they pile on here.

Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
That's hilarious. So he broke into the Verizon store while
he left his keys in his car, and while he
was robbing the Verizon store, his car got stolen.

Speaker 6 (01:30:50):
That's awesome exactly. The cops mentioned the same right here.

Speaker 2 (01:30:54):
So here's the deal.

Speaker 12 (01:30:55):
Okay, okay, someone stole my top. I understand, I understand that,
So the gig's up. It's whether you want to be
honest about stuff or not. Oh my god, that's that's
kind of some karma right there, ain't it. Yeah, that's
karma right there.

Speaker 10 (01:31:10):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (01:31:11):
I love how the cops laughing at him.

Speaker 15 (01:31:13):
MS.

Speaker 2 (01:31:15):
It's called kara. Well there's this week in audio. Yeah,
thank you very much, Steve Bass More. Woody Show is next.
Hang on the Woody Show back in a minute.

Speaker 6 (01:31:28):
Stick your tongue away, Woody Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:37):
And into another hour, final hour. Yep, you're on the
Woody Show on this throwback Thursday. It's July the ninth,
twenty twenty six. Woody, Greg Man, Gina grad and this
is the time of the week. We were welcome into
the studio. He is the pride of Pacoima. He's a
senior vice president Manji, partner of Club Turn Up. He

(01:31:59):
goes by many James l Presidente, DJ, Tim Martinez and
more recently Kiyo. Yeah, we can also call you Fiji Tim, you.

Speaker 16 (01:32:14):
Can, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:32:15):
Tim and his wife celebrating their twenty fifth yep, twenty
fifth anniversary, decided to do something really cool and they
went on a trip to Fiji and he was sending
me these pictures and everyone was better than the last. Yeah, wow,
it looks incredible. It's definitely I told you before. On
my wife's bucket list to go to Fiji, she wants
to stay kind of where you did, like the huts

(01:32:37):
over the water water?

Speaker 9 (01:32:38):
Was that?

Speaker 2 (01:32:38):
Was that as cool as it looks or is it
like is it one of the things that looks cool
but is not as great as you think? I will
say it's a little bit of both. Like love that
we did it. Check the box.

Speaker 3 (01:32:48):
Yeah, I would have done like four days over the water,
and then I would then move to another private part
of the resort.

Speaker 4 (01:32:57):
I know one thing I was going to ask, is
it did you get it?

Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
Was like getting the to and from kind of thing
to get to everything else. Get it? Correct it.

Speaker 3 (01:33:06):
We're literally the furthest thing from all other things. But
the shout out to the Marriotte in Fiji. All you
have to do is pick up the phone, send me
a golf cart.

Speaker 2 (01:33:17):
Oh no, we're back four days. I would say, I
would stay there four years and they So the first thing.

Speaker 5 (01:33:27):
I call, I'm like, oh, we could actually call for
a golf cart.

Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
So I call them, did I get a golf cart,
and they're like golf cart, you mean buggy And I'm like,
sure it up, but I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:33:37):
Care what send the buggy.

Speaker 2 (01:33:40):
Awesome. So everybody's seen those huts over the water. That
looks cool. One thing I'd never seen before, which I
thought was really cool, is that one place that you
went to. It looked like it was kind of out
in the middle. I have to have like an oil
rig out in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Yeah,
seventh Heaven is heaven. It looks pretty big. Let me
show you a picture. Let me show you a picture. No,
it's a it's like a it's a thing right in
the middle of the water. Somebody got to get there

(01:34:01):
by boat. But once you're there, it's like a bar,
a restaurant. It's a whole thing, dude.

Speaker 5 (01:34:07):
It's basically like, for lack of a better description, it's
like a club on water.

Speaker 2 (01:34:15):
Like, look this thing.

Speaker 5 (01:34:17):
Oh my god, that's.

Speaker 2 (01:34:21):
I mean, you see that minute. I mean it's so cool, man. Yeah, great,
So you spend the whole day there. We were there
for about five hours, okay, it was so you can
come and go as you want. There's like shuttles of
boats or whatever. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
I mean, well, we hired, uh, we hired a guy
basically to be our personal uber on the water for
the day.

Speaker 5 (01:34:41):
I'm bougie like.

Speaker 15 (01:34:42):
That, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:34:43):
So he was like, you, you just tell me when
you want to come and I'll come. Grab you want
to go to the next island, We'll go to the
next island.

Speaker 2 (01:34:51):
So yeah, it was pretty scale. One to ten Fiji.

Speaker 5 (01:34:54):
I'm gonna say nine and a half nine half.

Speaker 2 (01:34:58):
My wife and I we just want to go today.
Every picture, I mean, you know, I'm jeweling with the
color of the water. She's drawing the pictures of shirt
shirt off Tim. Oh yeah, shirt off. Tim was like
in a lot of these pictures. Yeah, I know, right,
it is copies. I actually the.

Speaker 5 (01:35:15):
Only people I spoke to the entire two weeks was
Woody and my kids.

Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
Literally, yeah, makes sense, your boyfriend and well Tim is
here and uh, Jeff G's got some questions. We've got
the boards and I'll tell you what. Ever, since we
started doing this, every week we get more and more
questions that people are sending in. You can send us
your questions for to Tim if you'd like to hear
it in this segment in the future round of it,
send us an email email at the woodieshow dot com.

(01:35:44):
Email at the woodieshow dot com is how you do that,
or you can send us a text text over to
two two nine eight seven. Timmy ready. I'm ready always.
I kind of feel like Jeff's in charge of going
through the submissions of the questions everything. I kind of
feel like he chose violence today and I did kind
of did. So people are gonna be fighting after today.
A question number one. All right, we're gonna start off tough.

Speaker 5 (01:36:06):
What is a toxic trait that all Latina women have.

Speaker 2 (01:36:09):
I'm not answering Latina women have, man, okay, toxic tree?

Speaker 3 (01:36:17):
God, I mean, first of all, all Latinos are perfect,
so let's start there.

Speaker 5 (01:36:25):
Toxic trait?

Speaker 2 (01:36:27):
Okay?

Speaker 16 (01:36:30):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:36:31):
All right, Oh god, I'm just torn.

Speaker 5 (01:36:35):
Yeah, me too, I'm locked in.

Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
I am too, all right. I got I wrote something
down and please don't get mad at me, ladies. It's observation, observation,
observation only. Did you write it down?

Speaker 4 (01:36:49):
I hope, I'm right. Yeah, I'm ready.

Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
All right. I wrote down zero patients like there's just
no like it's just like you said it once. And
now now I'm saying again, now there's like yelling, or
there's like a I don't know, threat of violence or something. Yeah,
like you're gonna get something thrown or yeah something. I
was gonna put that short fuse, but I ended up

(01:37:12):
going with from experience, resting bitch face. All right, all right,
what you write down?

Speaker 4 (01:37:20):
I hope I'm right and I like it. I wrote
feisty personality.

Speaker 2 (01:37:24):
See I'm kind of saying somewhat.

Speaker 5 (01:37:27):
Yeah, you gonna say, it's kind of the same realm
I put being Mouthye, you know, it's like out in public.

Speaker 6 (01:37:34):
Just being like, you know, like start starting fights that
you're supposed to finish.

Speaker 5 (01:37:39):
Yeah, all right, Sammy, Sammy, I did like gossiping gossip.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
Yeah, okay, Jeff G. They're good at talking crap. Yeah
you yes, for sure. Yeah, Tim Martinez, all.

Speaker 5 (01:37:53):
Right, I think I'm with Jeff G. No filter literally
just will come out of nowhere and just say whatever
is on the mind. And again I'm I I like it.
I'm all for it.

Speaker 2 (01:38:07):
I like that. I like people. I like people with
no filter. Yeah, I mean think about like my aunt Chrissy,
you know, the first perfect example, just like yeah, yeah,
as long as it's not directed to you, like you
were saying.

Speaker 11 (01:38:18):
Well, it's usually directed at me, you and your stupid
ass friends and stupid.

Speaker 5 (01:38:24):
It's always somebody's a.

Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
Stupid ass, all right you, Tim?

Speaker 11 (01:38:28):
Question number two, This is actually a text in question Tim,
and this is a good one that says, Hi, this
is Alicia from Anaheim. My man has a work wife.
This bitch brings him leftovers. They have inside jokes and
they even text each other after work. I told my
man to chill, but he's not listening. What is my
next move to Tim?

Speaker 2 (01:38:49):
Yeah, I mean there's nothing to write down here.

Speaker 5 (01:38:52):
This is just a I mean it's a this is
a discussion. Yeah, we have an hour.

Speaker 2 (01:38:57):
Yeah, Like I can tell you, like my wife would
not like that, you know, it's it's not about like
she would hate the leftovers thing, hate it that that's
too personal. And then also the inside jokes or the texting,
like if it's not like a business related, if it's
just like, oh, here's something fun or funny or whatever,

(01:39:18):
she'd hate it. But like I text you all the time,
she knows you, Like I think it's I think it's
different when like I don't know, this situation feels different,
Like this kind of job or whatever. But I think
if somebody goes off to like an office job somewhere
and they have somebody the wife doesn't really know, just
knows of this person, and there's these things going on, Dang,

(01:39:39):
I got it.

Speaker 5 (01:39:40):
I'm locked in.

Speaker 2 (01:39:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:39:42):
Yeah, Uh, he better be fun out at his resume
because that mother effort switching.

Speaker 2 (01:39:46):
Jobs real, get switching jobs out, all right?

Speaker 8 (01:39:55):
Uh, greg I said, call or confront the bitch like up, yeah, yeah,
work drama, go straight to the source.

Speaker 4 (01:40:03):
I'm with you, greg, I said, text that bitch, oh.

Speaker 2 (01:40:06):
Like directly, yes, hey girl, not through his phone, text
that bitch.

Speaker 5 (01:40:11):
Yeah same, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:40:13):
Yeah, does uh steamboat Willie have like a work wife?

Speaker 13 (01:40:17):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:40:18):
No, I mean he works out of the house, so
like and yeah Andy's Andy's bitch is the puppy.

Speaker 2 (01:40:27):
Literally yeah yeah true? Yeah, all right, Tim, what do
you say? Always jeff G. First, Jeff G. Show up
at work and check that work wife. Oh yeah, show
up at work and check her right in front of everybody.

Speaker 10 (01:40:39):
And then.

Speaker 11 (01:40:42):
That's the easiest way for it to stop, because she'll
be embarrassed and he'll be embarrassed.

Speaker 5 (01:40:45):
Yeah, they'll both be embarrassed.

Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
In front of the coworkers. So I actually have a
work wife, but she lives on the East Coast. I
work with her.

Speaker 3 (01:40:52):
I talked to her twelve times a day, and it's yeah,
we text outside of work hours, not just about not
just about work, not just about work.

Speaker 17 (01:41:03):
I mean again, like you like what you wearing kind
of stuff. I mean again, my again, my wife.

Speaker 2 (01:41:13):
Is she met her?

Speaker 5 (01:41:14):
Yeah, for sure, And that's where I'm at.

Speaker 2 (01:41:16):
That's my answer.

Speaker 3 (01:41:17):
Introduce her to the work wife. I mean, like I'm
telling you, it is worked. I've had two work wives.

Speaker 5 (01:41:25):
I've been here for over twenty five years, so I've
had plenty of work wives. And it's like, yo, like
this is part of my life.

Speaker 2 (01:41:32):
I mean, it is what it is.

Speaker 5 (01:41:33):
I never turn off my cell phone.

Speaker 2 (01:41:35):
And see, I don't like the term workwise because I
think it's just assigned incorrectly.

Speaker 5 (01:41:41):
Yeah, that's just because just because you work.

Speaker 2 (01:41:43):
With somebody who is like the opposite sex and you
have as much of a relationship quote unquote with them
as you would like another dude, you may be texting
this other dude that you work with, I think it
becomes more personal, like she's bringing the left or she's
doing that more caretaking part of it. That's where they
maybe drawn like she's the food. She's I know you do.

(01:42:03):
I'm saying, like she's bringing the leftovers. And what she's like,
you know, calling checking in when he's sick and thinks
like this stuff like that, that wife stuff.

Speaker 10 (01:42:12):
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:42:12):
I think what is worse is like when your quote
unquote work wife is like you're like if I had
a female assistant, like my personal assistant, that could get
even way more sticky. You know what I'm saying, Like
she's doing you know, picking up your laundry, doing whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:42:27):
But I don't know. All right, Well, uh one, Tim,
if you've got questions for him, you can hit us
up on the text over to two two nine eighty seven.
You can say U an email with your question email
at the woodieshow dot com. We are a heavy metal band.

Speaker 7 (01:42:41):
I mean everybody knows that.

Speaker 2 (01:42:43):
Wait wait, hold on, wait, wait where am I the
Woody Show. It's not a where am I game? But
I do have a game. It's a game for Sammy. Okay,
I'm gonna give Sammy a name of a lifetime.

Speaker 5 (01:42:56):
Movie, a lifetime all right.

Speaker 6 (01:42:59):
I know it's not all I'm more of a person.

Speaker 2 (01:43:01):
No, No, but you are you know, Lifetime like all that. Yeah,
you're you're legal. You're the closest person in this room
who would be able to give us.

Speaker 5 (01:43:10):
As say that Lifetime is more kind of hood.

Speaker 2 (01:43:14):
Maybe you like it's a little bit darker.

Speaker 4 (01:43:16):
Are they the ones that goo lifetime television for women?

Speaker 2 (01:43:18):
Yeah? Okay, so I'm gonna give you the name of
a Lifetime movie. You need to tell me if it's
a real movie or just one that was made up. Okay,
all right, Identity Theft of a Cheerleader. Real, that is
a real Lifetime movie. I gotta see that from twenty nineteen.

(01:43:39):
Did that one first? Obviously? You know Sammy cheerleader figured
maybe she saw it.

Speaker 5 (01:43:45):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (01:43:45):
I don't think I did.

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
She was. Let see maybe watching this one real or
made up? Crowning at the prom? Look graphic, Oh my god,
crowning at the problem I know. Is it because she
was prom queen?

Speaker 15 (01:44:02):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:44:03):
Or is she having a baby?

Speaker 14 (01:44:04):
A baby?

Speaker 7 (01:44:05):
And you know what they did do a movie called
pregnancy Packed, so they might have done I'm gonna say real, real, Yes,
this is real.

Speaker 4 (01:44:15):
I gotta see that.

Speaker 2 (01:44:15):
Crowning at the prom? All right, real Lifetime movie or
just made up another woman's husband made up. That's a
real one.

Speaker 4 (01:44:24):
It sounds like what they would do.

Speaker 2 (01:44:26):
It's twenty six years old, but it's real, real Lifetime
or made up baby for sale? Real? You think that's real? Great?
I would say, real, yeah, real, it's real. These are
two thousand and four. All right, spoiler alert, These are
all real.

Speaker 5 (01:44:45):
I was starting to.

Speaker 6 (01:44:46):
Wonder that's not man menace, is right? They're really leaning
more into like the murder porn genre as opposed to
yeah yeah, love story. Washers is Lifetime, the same network
that had that show Snapped.

Speaker 4 (01:45:00):
Oh no, I think that's Oh maybe I love that show.

Speaker 2 (01:45:03):
Because it was all chicks like losing it and killing
their husband, yeah with their boyfriend.

Speaker 7 (01:45:07):
But Lifetime, I mean would be right up Gena Zally
for sure because it is based on true story.

Speaker 2 (01:45:12):
So they dramatize the stuff that was Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:45:16):
Snapped is on Oxygen. That's the other one, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:45:20):
Uh? Newlywed and Dead is a Lifetime movie from twenty sixteen,
Stalked by My Doctor And that was like a whole
series that ran from twenty fifteen to twenty twenty one. Yes, please,
actual movie on Lifetime from twenty seventeen, from Straight A's
to Triple x Y. I'm saying hell yeah, hell all

(01:45:46):
watched Tonight Noise Psycho Storm Chaser from twenty twenty one.
See the other good one here? Oh you could watch
Restless Virgins.

Speaker 4 (01:45:58):
No, let me look that up.

Speaker 2 (01:45:59):
A Lifetime movie from twenty thirteen. I can't calm down. Yeah,
this one called so this one was from nineteen ninety
six and then they remade it in twenty sixteen because
it was so good. Mother May I Sleep with Danger?

Speaker 4 (01:46:13):
Oh, I've seen it.

Speaker 2 (01:46:13):
I've heard him did.

Speaker 4 (01:46:14):
Yeah, I've seen that one because the title was so great.

Speaker 5 (01:46:17):
I watched it.

Speaker 4 (01:46:17):
And there's one uh, there's a dateline called that too.

Speaker 2 (01:46:20):
Well, so what was it was like? I don't remember
what it was about. I just know I've seen Mother
may I Sleep with Danger?

Speaker 4 (01:46:26):
Yeah, there's there's that. There's Mother may I Sleep with Danger?
And I Now pronounce you dead, which is he kills
it right after the wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:46:32):
All right, you love murder? She does. It's so weird.
I love murder.

Speaker 4 (01:46:38):
I'm trained by this genre.

Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
Cyber Seduction His Secret Life in two thousand and five. Oh,
I know that one.

Speaker 4 (01:46:46):
Oh anyway, Sammy. This is why I knew I saw it,
Mother May I Sleep with Danger had was star Tory spelling.
That's why I knew i'd seen it.

Speaker 7 (01:46:53):
The Cyber Seduction one he gets addicted to porn, I
think is that one?

Speaker 2 (01:46:57):
Yeah, people talking the most.

Speaker 16 (01:47:01):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:47:02):
Menace might have watched Lifetime at one point because he
likes all that. He likes all the early stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:47:07):
I think Unsolved Mysteries was on Lifetime for Thank You.

Speaker 6 (01:47:11):
Medas likes real life drama, not reenacted drama.

Speaker 10 (01:47:14):
He likes.

Speaker 4 (01:47:15):
Yeah, well, it's not really real life like they probably.

Speaker 2 (01:47:17):
Did, like a Menandaz Brothers one. They did that Betty
Broderick one.

Speaker 7 (01:47:21):
Yeah, they did one about a mom who I think
kills another girl who's like running for cheercas.

Speaker 4 (01:47:27):
Oh that one was amazing. Yeah yeah, hold on, she
gets a hit man.

Speaker 2 (01:47:31):
She doesn't real or life Hallmark movie. Okay, Chasing Leprechauns, No,
that's not real, that's real. Where to gold At though.
A real estate executive tries to save a company plant
in Ireland by providing leprechauns by proving leprechauns actually exist. Okay,

(01:47:54):
twenty twelve, that's more Hallmark sounding how about this one,
Love on a Limb? Yes, I love that one, Ashley Williams. No,
and she's trying to save a tree herself to it, says.
A woman accidentally gets stuck in an oak tree, protesting
its removal, only to find love in the branches.

Speaker 4 (01:48:13):
That's amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:48:14):
Well, I came from development. That idea came from Remember when, uh,
in Berkeley, California, they were living in the trees.

Speaker 2 (01:48:23):
I don't know, all right, how about uh, let's see
my boyfriend's dogs.

Speaker 7 (01:48:33):
I mean, I guess I'll say yes because they're probably
all real.

Speaker 4 (01:48:36):
Again, but I haven't heard of that one.

Speaker 2 (01:48:38):
It's a real one. A woman in a wedding dress
is found wondering with three straight dogs, each belonging to
one of her ex boyfriends.

Speaker 10 (01:48:48):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:48:49):
I guess they break up and she keeps the dog.

Speaker 4 (01:48:51):
You guys, this is star studded. It's Erica Christiansen and
Joyce de Witt from Three's Company.

Speaker 2 (01:48:56):
Oh all right, Uh, Santa tell me.

Speaker 5 (01:49:02):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:49:03):
A woman receives a magical letter from Santa instructing her
to date three guys all named Nick. That's a Christmas and.

Speaker 5 (01:49:13):
Wants yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:49:16):
Thanksgiving. There's another one. The Santa Class, A stressed lawyer
attends a class designed to teach dult men how to
become real life Santas. Yeah, yeah, everyone knows that one.
Some of the other real Lifetime movies Drink Sleigh Love,

(01:49:37):
Honeymoon with Mom. I do parenthetically, but I don't. Oh no,
there's one called I Me Wed, I V Wed. I guess,
but I me themselves I Love two thousand and seven.

(01:49:57):
There's a Lifetime movie Killing Daddy from twenty four all right,
and one for you, Greg Sexting in Suburbia Entertainment Weekly
did like a whole rite up on you know some
of the more ridiculous ones.

Speaker 4 (01:50:10):
You're right about imy Wed. She's exhausted looking for her soulmates,
so she marries herself.

Speaker 2 (01:50:15):
Did you watch the one Sammy where he's a snowman
but he comes to life.

Speaker 4 (01:50:19):
But he that's hot frosty, and that's.

Speaker 7 (01:50:25):
Yeah yeah, And it's very odd because she does fall
in love with him.

Speaker 6 (01:50:30):
But he's a snowman, right, who just turns into human form.

Speaker 7 (01:50:33):
So it's almost like almost like an Edward Scissorhand type
of character where everything's so foreign and he's very.

Speaker 6 (01:50:40):
Strange and he has as.

Speaker 7 (01:50:43):
Acts, but he's very childlike and not adult at all
when she falls in love with him.

Speaker 6 (01:50:49):
Weird special question for the ladies. Let's say hypothetically he
was not a real special needs adult.

Speaker 15 (01:50:56):
He was.

Speaker 6 (01:50:57):
He was a real like whatever snowman that became, And
so would you hook up with him if he were that? Sure,
you're not taking advantage of a special needs person.

Speaker 4 (01:51:06):
By the I wouldn't want to be in a relationship
with him, But of course you hook up with real snowman,
do you. I don't know if I could do it.

Speaker 7 (01:51:14):
He's pretty hot though, for anyone who doesn't know.

Speaker 2 (01:51:20):
You've seen Ship's Creek.

Speaker 4 (01:51:23):
He's the one who dates alexis the one who proposed.

Speaker 2 (01:51:28):
Face.

Speaker 4 (01:51:29):
That is, he is Glenn Powell level forgettable, pretty much long.

Speaker 2 (01:51:33):
He's got long hair though.

Speaker 6 (01:51:35):
In Hot Frosty spoiler alert, did Lacy shabbee Hot Frosty.

Speaker 4 (01:51:43):
She kisses him? Well, no, they don't hook up with
Homark movies.

Speaker 2 (01:51:49):
It's called an ice wine Christmas. One in Philadelphia's top
wine Somaliers goes home to the magical vineyards of Evergreen,
New York to take part in the town's annual ice
Swine Christmas Festival and Harvest of course.

Speaker 4 (01:52:04):
Really yeah, yes, the only one I've seen full through
is Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater.

Speaker 7 (01:52:11):
Yes, also with Ashley Williams, I love her down to
watch one of these.

Speaker 6 (01:52:18):
Do you what do you expect to happen?

Speaker 2 (01:52:19):
What do you hope is going to happen?

Speaker 5 (01:52:20):
Yeah, I mean I know what's going to happen.

Speaker 2 (01:52:22):
One of those things that you put on it's kind
of in the background as you're scrolling, like a second
screen thing, like you're just kind of doing other things
it's on. Or do you sit down getting locked in
into the story and watching thing.

Speaker 7 (01:52:35):
Yeah, I'm locked in on the new ones, but I
will turn it on with the old ones.

Speaker 4 (01:52:39):
We already know what's going to happen. And Crochet and
exactly it's.

Speaker 8 (01:52:43):
Great for this is like how Tyler can tell you
who won the twenty Super Bowl exactly right, Sammy says, Oh,
Ashley Williams, she's in a tree and it falls in love.

Speaker 2 (01:52:53):
With fully useless skills. Yeah, good stuff, all right? Eight
