The Friday fail stories also some of the trending news
headlines coming up. Birthday's porn of birthday here on this
July tenth, it is a world kebab day. Let me
tell it. I don't like doing I don't like making kebabs. No,

(02:18):
let me tell you why, because when you grill them
and they're on the skewre, I don't like. I feel
like it's not getting cooked enough in between, like where
the whether the two chunks of meat touch on the sure,
because that's always the that's always the pink spot. You
don't have the crown together too hard if you don't
want to. But even if I'm saying, if you have,
like say a piece of chicken pepper.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
You're not supposed to do that. You're supposed to do
all veggies on one and all chicken on one because
it gets undercooked.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
The onions always undercooked.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Into it yeah. National French Friday is to yes, I like,
yeah French Fries. It's don't step on a b Day.
It was just good advice. National Motorcycle Day, Greg, like
that National Pina Colada Day.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
That's a vacation drink.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
And today's a National Kitten Day.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I gotta tell you I never I never really hated cats.
They weren't my favorite, you know what I mean, But
I never really hated them. And I think as time
has gone on, I have less and less patients for
cats and people who like cats. Why what a cats do?

Speaker 7 (03:26):
Do?

Speaker 4 (03:26):
You? You know what it is? It's by association because
the people who I find to be I'll find out
someone is like, you know, like you know, coworker or
someone that you do business with or whatever, and they're like, man,
this person sucks and you find out they're a cat person.
Why is it that always the most annoying and you
know people that the most rotten people? Why are they

(03:48):
always cat people? It's a good question I have not
experienced and haven't. And also, cats just suck. I was
just at my dad's for a week and we were
staying there and the cat is you know, it's just
it's cute, you know what I mean. But this thing
he's got, you know, we got new flooring for the house,
but he's got like one area where it's carpeted, and

(04:08):
the cat peed there, and so you have that smell
that cat be out of here. Don't tell me a
nature's miracle or whatever that there is nothing that gets
that out other than taking the carpet out or throwing
the piece of clothing away or whatever. And you always
have it's even if it's like a like a like
a subtle hint of the smell, it's always around. Yeah,
my dad just got a new couch. It peed on

(04:29):
the back of the couch, like the top of the
back of the hell that's pretty rare for cats. I
don't usually hear about them peeing. Well, they like to
mark new stuff. My aunt Chris, you just got like
a new chair, like a new recliner chair. Scratched it up.
Had it for I'll I'll have to have her center picture.
Had it for less than forty eight hours. And this
thing was destroyed because it came downstairs every morning and

(04:52):
would just use its claws on the side of here's
what I about. I'm like, you know, what. I just don't.
I don't see any I don't see any real neat
or purpose for cats.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah. The thing I hate about cat people is when
they try to get you know, the equivalent of a
dog person, where they say, oh, Scout did the funniest
thing last night. He was playing with his toys, and
I'm thinking, Okay, cats don't do anything amusing or funny.
Stop it. And they're very they're very dainty. I would
hate it when their tails kind of go back. They're

(05:20):
so dainty, and all girls I.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Would I wouldn't even say that, like that's what that
that's why it's so it's it's it's such a it's
such a weird line for me, because like, I think
they're cute, right, and I can say that, oh, I've
seen cats do funny things or whatever, and I've seen
cats be very sweet. But I think just overall, the
you know that they're not needed to go outside thing

(05:44):
that's convenient. Yeah, and then dealing with the litter box sucks,
Samuel will tell.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
You so hard.

Speaker 8 (05:50):
Yeah, that's why I find it interesting that your dad's
cat is peeing all over the place, because cats go
in their litter box and they always want to cover
it up because like, so predators can't.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
They mark them.

Speaker 9 (06:01):
They do mark they do, especially boys, and it's oh man,
and that smell.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
It just reeks. I can't get it out. They're But
then you know, most most of the cats are pretty
anti social, meaning like it's like they don't they don't
care about you the same way that a dog or
even another person.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
It's just I think you're right. I don't like the
really anti social ones. It's like, oh, my cat's under
the bed and won't come out until you leave, Like okay,
that I don't get.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Yeah, the fact that like for the most part, they're
kind of up. They're allowed to go up on anything,
including counters because they like tables, tables where people eat,
and they got their their their litter box, paws all
over like and again, it's not their fault. I'm not
holding it against cats, per se. There go with per se,
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Yeah, Joe Coy pointing that I'm not. I'm not. I'm
not holding it against cats. Again, I think as much
as it is some of those more annoying things that
I just don't want to deal with, it's more about
the people who have like Radiohead fans. Yeah, my problem.
You don't really care about Radiohead or the songs themselves,
just the fans of Radioheads that ruin it. Yeah yeah.

(07:13):
So I just find that the people who are the
most the most annoying and the most like to have cats. Yeah, yea,
the most unappealing. They're cat people.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Why is that?

Speaker 6 (07:23):
Well, at least they're not dressing their cats up.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Oh, some people do.

Speaker 10 (07:27):
Some people do, and I've seen some walk their cats.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Get them to do that, that's that's the other one.
But why do they want to go outside? Oh?

Speaker 11 (07:35):
I was just about to ask, does your boyfriend walk
his cat?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Sammy?

Speaker 8 (07:39):
He doesn't walk her, but he does have like a
leash and harness for her, so she can't but he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
So it's not it's not walking. No, he doesn't walk
her on the block. So what is so what is there?
That's what's what is that tie to the door and
ties it up outside for prayer to come by and
get it or not to come by and get it.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
But I guess just be outside, chums. You can't trackside.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
It's gonna just run.

Speaker 8 (08:04):
Around or get eaten or whatever. Right, And he doesn't
have a yard or anything.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
So again, is it the leash is just he just
lets it out there for a couple hours, not a
couple hours. It sounds like it sounds it sounds like
he's taking it for a walk. Yeah, it does sound
like that. I don't bother time for the birthdays.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Its shim.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
We don't.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
It's and you know we don't.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
And we'll start with the celebrities. Happy birthday to Sophia Vigara.
It was Gloria and Modern Family fifty four years old today.
Jessica Simpto Simpson. She was a pop chicken, then all
of a sudden, a billion dollar fashion mobile.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Yeah, he's got the shoes.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
It's the same person that was like she thought it
was chicken, Yeah, back in the day. Forty six years old.
Adrian Grenere, who was the most disposable member of Entourage,
even though it was a show about him and a
Vinny Chase on a disposable show, he was the most disposable. Yeah,
Adrian Grenier is fifty years old. Thomas Ian Nicholas Kevin

(09:12):
from American Pie is forty six. He got Isabella Merced
She was the voice of Dora the Explorer and she
was also in the Last of Us.

Speaker 10 (09:21):
Yeah, Superman as well.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Yeah, I wonder how what she made on that network.
Greg Isabella Merced that's a three mill three mil. Okay,
that's not too Yeah, well for a twenty five year old. Yeah,
that's a pretty good start. It's a good night for anybody. Yeah,
Fiona Shall who is aunt Petunia? And Harry Potter sixty
eight this year, Greg next year going to be and

(09:43):
then Robert Pine. He was paunching John's boss, Sergeant Joe
on the TV show Chips, which I loved as a kid.
But he's Chris. That's the best part. Yeah, Robert, No,
Chips is the best part.

Speaker 6 (09:55):
No, that's when my mom would leave to go places.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
We'd say what are you going to be back? And
she'd say.

Speaker 6 (10:01):
In one Chips episode, cauds be.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Good until time. Robert Pine eighty five years old today,
and then you got your porno birthday. Who is Shona
River and today's birthday girl. She's done more bouncing than
a low rider on Hydraulics three and eighteen. Fine films,
including worshiping the Birthday Girl's sexy feet, No thanks. She
was in Lesbian Sex and Long Leather Coats. Also horny

(10:25):
for her House Guests Volume one. She was in Bartender
serves something hard. I wonder what that is like? Hard
to alcohol, heart like a good stiff drink. Yeah, she
was in Bush Bleaching Volume one, also fingering while a
couple is watching, and who can forget her unforgetable role
and hungry for anal she's starvin. You know what I

(10:47):
could go for right now? Yeah, that's a Shona River
who's thirty four years old today. And that's your porno
birthday and your celebrity birthdays here on this Friday on
the Woodie Show, A little is shoe into another new hour.
What Greg menace Gina? Yeah, we are the Boody Show.
And speaking of Gina Gratch, she's got the trending news headlines.

(11:09):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
The quarterfinals are underway in the World Cup and yesterday
France eliminated Morocco to be the first team into the
final four. Today Spain plays Belgium. Tomorrow there are two
games Norway versus England and Argentina versus Switzerland. Also tomorrow,
Connor McGregor makes his UFC return after five years. He'll
be fighting Max Holloway for the second time. Connor won

(11:31):
their first fight back in twenty thirteen. Oh and also
on the UFC three twenty nine card Corey Sandhagen versus
Mario Batista and Patty Pimblet versus Benoi Saint Denis Nice. Yeah,
BSD much easier to say. Well, new details have come
out about the deadly ICE shooting in Houston, So now
the FEDS are saying the guy who was killed may

(11:52):
not have actually been the person agents were looking for,
but they.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Really look like the target.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
I says this thirty nine yearld guy, Lorenz Selgato Arahu.
He refused commands and drove toward an officer who then
shot him in what they call self defense. His family's
calling BS and says he had no criminal record and
was simply on his way to pick up some workers.
And they say they still haven't been contacted by ICE
and only found out that he died after seeing photos
on social media. And officials also confirmed that ICE agents

(12:20):
didn't have body.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Cameras because they hadn't been issued them yet. So that's
I thought everybody had body cams.

Speaker 11 (12:26):
All. You can get him on TIMU for like five bucks.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Even the cart narks have body got to protect the
ICE one exactly well.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
Jurors in the Charlie Kirk murder case heard new evidence
yesterday when prosecutors played part of an interview with the
alleged shooter's former roommate and boyfriend. That guy told investigators
the shooter had admitted to shooting Kirk and then said
he regretted it, and the roommate also said that the
dude had asked to borrow a tool to engrave some
bullets before the attack, and those matched the engraving the

(12:56):
engraved shell casings.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
He was like borrowing like a cup of sugar. Yeah, Hey,
do you have any of the bullet engravings? Yeah? People
just have that like later aud right, and also like
bullet engraver.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
You have to be damn sure that you want everyone
to know it was youse, Like what are your initials
on it.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
It's one of those things that seems like a good
idea in the moment, and then the second he did it,
like you said, I shouldn't have done that.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
It's one thing, Tugget. It's porn and having that guilt afterwards.
It's that thing where you're like, you know what, I'm
gonna kill somebody. It's going to be a great.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
Idea and I'll leave my calling card, but.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
I mean super gating grave right, yeah, totally.

Speaker 6 (13:30):
Well he did ask his when.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
People have embroidered towels in a robe, like.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Don't do it yourself? Take it to things? Remember, what
do you?

Speaker 4 (13:41):
What do you think about that? Greg? When people have
like monogrammed towels towels, is that gay?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
No? I'm not gay.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
I'm saying is it tacky? I think it's tacky.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
But it depends what it says, like if it's the initial,
like if you had one.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Like W and J, I think it would be like,
isn't hers?

Speaker 2 (13:59):
I don't. This is so biased of me. I don't
like his and hers? But at home we have these
two candles that say his and his, OK, and I
like that. It's what's the difference, nothing, That's what makes
it fun. So like what we should have it's two
towels and it says his and his, and then it's
just fun.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yeah, it is fine and hilarious. It is a little
more fun. I'm kind of surprised that you think the
monogram towels are.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
I think it's not. I think it's slightly upscale.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
Yeah, really, what's talking about it? When it's that big
giant initial in the middle, and you know what it is.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
It's it's like fake fancy. I think it's I think
people who do that have those trying to look fancy.

Speaker 11 (14:37):
Well, I think what we're talking about is venue. I
don't think located. Are they located in like a mansion
are located in.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
I think you're right context. There's a documentary called The
Billion Dollar Hotel, and I can't remember where it is,
but they have these rooms where if you're the guest
and I walk in and I'm Greg, they take the
pillow shams and have an embroidered G on it rules
and they change it for every guest. I'm like, that's
pretty pretty upscale.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah, they're really paying attention.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Yeah, that's all right. I think the ones at home, though,
the embroidered towels at home, I mean, it.

Speaker 6 (15:12):
Does remind me of like eighties moms.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Really, it's like trying to show that you're you know,
I don't know. It just seems like it's like it's
part of the costume of like you're trying to look fancy.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I have one set of towels that just has a
G on it, and I like it. It looks good.
That explains why you have one. Well, it was a gift,
to be fair, but I think it looks good. What
I do find tacky in the bathroom is those rugs
that go up against the toilet. They're shaped to the toilet.
I see him sometimes you do.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Yeah, I haven't seen one of those forever.

Speaker 6 (15:44):
That's the same bathroom that has the dish with the
decorative soaps that you're not allowed to touch.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Well, my grandma had a grandma had the little rug
that went along the bottom, but it also had one
that went over the top of the toilet.

Speaker 11 (15:57):
How about just a straight up carpeted bathroom.

Speaker 6 (16:00):
Nobody does that old Well, metaglasses have been getting a
bad rep because of creepy people recording without consent.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
So and we talked about this.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
Whenever you record, it has a little blinking light which
lets people know you're recording, and metaglasses owners are hacking them.
SeaBus even told us there's little like circle things you
could put over it so people can't see the blinking line.

Speaker 10 (16:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (16:19):
There's even people on like social media that have services like, oh,
meet up in a parking lot and we'll disabled the
yeah light.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Oh, really guess what they're doing now I saw this.

Speaker 6 (16:28):
They're going to be in trouble because Meta's pissed about
it and says they updated their glasses software to detect
whether the light has been messed with, and they're banning
accounts and even taking legal action against people or businesses
that are messing with the light.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
I mean, I say good.

Speaker 11 (16:42):
I'm like, what kind of creep meets up with another
dude in a parking lot so they can disable the light.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
It's a good point on your glasses. Feel free to
profile that guy. What are you doing?

Speaker 6 (16:52):
Yeah, that's a good point. Well, speaking of Meta, they're
being sued for one and a half trillion dollars by
twenty nine states for fueling the teen mental health crisis,
and the lawsuit accuses Meta, you know, major violations of
the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Plus, they say Facebook
and Instagram were designed to be addictive to kids and
has led to self harm and suicide.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Designed to be addicted to everybody, everybody. Yeah, so whoever's
looking at it to adult, whoever they spend more time
with it. That's how business works. Well, I think you
want them to come there.

Speaker 11 (17:22):
More, but every company under the Sun wants you to
be addicted to that company. We want you to be
addicted to listening to the what he should be like
a part of the fabric of your life.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
Well Meta denies this and they're going to meet in
court in August and listen up Nerds. Jeopardy is hiring
a new clue writer for the TV show. The job
description says the ideal candidate should demonstrate wit and clarity,
and must also be able to pass the show's infamous
contestant quiz, where topics are everything from US geography to

(17:53):
opera science, superhero psychic everything.

Speaker 8 (17:59):
The good one what it's gott to finish your words?

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Huh what I say? Nothing? I don't know. Okay.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
The good news is if you pass all of this,
you can earn around one hundred and fifty thousand dollars,
So get on it.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I think that'd be a fun but really difficult job.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Yeah, but it's way more pop culture now, so the
chin is nerdy as it used to.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
One of the chances when you hear a song, for example,
and then there's a lawsuit like, oh that sounds too
much like this song. It could be a coincidence. If
I was a clue writer there, I would think, oh,
this is a great Jeopardy question that was done in.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Ninety Actually, if you go back to the record on
the we're going to.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Have an infinite number of clues.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Yeah, have a database though.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
I'm sure they do.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
Yeah, I think it would still be stressful.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Stressful.

Speaker 6 (18:41):
And finally, let's talk a little National French Fried Day,
shall we? Plenty of deals for fry lovers, but Greg
and what You're going to hate this because most of
the deals require you to use the There we go,
like get a Chick fil A. If you're a Chick
fil A one member, you can get a free medium
sized waffle fries by playing the chain's new spot the

(19:01):
Cow game in the app.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
See the app. You got to play the game.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Let's jump through a bunch of hoops to get a
couple of potatoes.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
McDonald is a portion of potato slices of one potato
of half a potato.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
They're offering rewards members free medium fries when you buy
something else on McDonald's app. Wendy's Rewards members can log
into their app and make a minimum purchase of five
bucks to get free fries. And what a Burger there's
no purchase necessary, but you you don't have to be
a rewards member.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
This is what the feeling I get when I go
out of town and then I have to pick something
up at the grocery store and it's a grocery store
I don't live near because I'm out of town. Oh
you're a rewards member. No, come on, just get the rewards.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
Yeah, they can do that sometimes.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
I was just at a grocery store out of town
and I went to self checkout. Just had a couple
of things. What did the self checkout? Couldn't even use
the self checkout unless I had the store card good card?
Yeah what Yeah, you had to like scan or enter
your shoppers card just to be able to use the
self checkout.

Speaker 6 (20:02):
So you have to be like a member of the store.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
So the chick came over. I'm thinking, Man, she's getting
tons of fuel rewards because whenever she does that for somebody. Yeah,
I don't care. I'm just trying to get the hell
out of here. You couldn't even use the self checkout
without entering your Shoppers car.

Speaker 11 (20:17):
Maybe they're trying to curb shoplifting or something. But somebody
can just make their own account.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
I think if I had my own store, I would
make it as difficult as possible to buy stuff to
get people. I would like to purchase this. No, no,
I don't want you to.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
If you've gone to a have you gone to a
store where you get to the register, like a brick
and mortar retailer, You get to the register and they go,
can we get your phone number? And like you go no, no,
thank you. They go, well, I can't wait. So I'm
standing in your store with some merchandise to purchase. You
can't sell this to me without me giving you the
phone number. Forget it.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Okay, It's like.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
I'm at that point. It's on principle, just nah, forget it.
I'm standing in front of you here, I am. You're
just trying to use this so you can sell it
market whatever. I don't want any of that. I just
want to purchase this right now.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
The shirt right The concept of is that Palmers is
not brand new, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Exactly, And they're like, I don't care.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
My name is not on the on the door, so
nobody wins. Well that's what's going on.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
With Thank you very much, Gina gran We're talking about
embroidered towels. I know if you're starting and you're like, wow,
sounds like a really missed out, missed out in a
really cool conversation. Yeah, well, it sounds like I don't
remember why I came up down?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
How did it come up?

Speaker 10 (21:37):
Oh my god, we're talking.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
To show original trademark copy right, Why did we even
talk about that in the first place.

Speaker 11 (21:43):
I have it because we're talking about the Charlie Kirk shooting.
And I said that it was gay in on the bullets.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
He asked to borrow a tool to engrave messages on
the on your shell casings. Yeah, okay. Then I hit
the tangent. I said, I wanted to get Greg's take
on because I thought Greg for sure is going to
say it's tacky. It turns out he's he's in favor
of I like it when you have your your initials
or like the last initial of the family name on

(22:16):
like towels.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
And it would have to be a like a nice, clean,
sleek towel. Can't be one with like a lot of designs. Yeah, exactly,
not like the Gramma kind, something sleek, like a plain
white hotel type towel.

Speaker 11 (22:29):
And then I argued, it's just about venue. If it's
like in a mansion, awesome. If it's in a trailer,
then kind of tacky.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
Agree, because I kind of read it as it's someone
trying to look fancy. You know, I don't think it
is fancy. I think it's what people think is fancy.
You know how there's I'm trying to think of another example,
but like there are things that people do or things
that people get because I think it looks fancy. Golts right,
I think that.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Is a what's wrong about striving to look fancy? Nothing?
Nothing's wrong with that. No, I don't know. It's like,
you have a modest house, but how can I fancy
it up? How about a broader towel?

Speaker 4 (23:07):
No, look nice, but you're trying you know what I
need to get an MRI. I my brain. I've had
the hardest time recently, like finding the proper words. I
can't find the proper words. I like, I know, I
know what I'm trying to say, and when I'm saying it,

(23:29):
it's like, no, that's not coming out right. I feel you,
bro dude. Daily. My grandma used to warn me about this.
She would say, your brain's gonna turn to sawdust. Like
later in the day.

Speaker 11 (23:41):
Later in the day like, oh, I'm better later later
in the day, it's fine, But in the morning, no, Man,
weird because it's not that I have like.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
I'm having a hard time articulating my thought. It's like
when people do. We had a we had a friend
who ended up having a stroke. It's called locked in syndrome.

Speaker 12 (23:59):
What.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Yeah, So our friend Sean, he had a stroke and
he had locked in syndrome, meaning he was completely aware
everything that was happening. Nah, but couldn't move anything, want
to move nothing.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Except his eyes and that was it.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
That was it, And so he had to communicate by
moving his eyes.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
It was pretty bad.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
That's so, like, that's got to be. That's the worst.
That's that's that's the worst. Although take what do you take?
What's the isn't there like a supplement or something you
can use to supposed to shoot something like that?

Speaker 13 (24:33):
Yeah, yeah, I actually looked into that because there's ones
that they advertise, Oh I have the brain of I
don't know, a memory of an elephant or something like
crazy tagline like that, But none of it.

Speaker 11 (24:50):
It's like been solid, solid, solid, you guys improve it.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
I bought it.

Speaker 11 (25:00):
I'm using it right, now obviously it doesn't work, not.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Exactly A good spokesperson for that. Yeah, so you know,
rich people, they got it good, but you know, not
everything they do is super expensive. I have a listener
based on the little conversation we're having about the embroidered
tests o other things like that. So it's a list
of some rich people things that regular folk not rich,
say they have found are cheaper than they thought. Okay, okay,

(25:25):
like tailoring your clothes, you know, yeah, yeah, like that's
oh you you're getting your clothes tailored? Oh that you
must be super rich. That does sound very expensive.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
I think you feel like if you get pants taken.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Up or something like that. Right, Like you buy a
pair of jeans, they don't quite they're a little bit
long on you. But most people go ah whatever, and
they let the backs of them just drag across the
dirt and they get all tatted up, you know. But
the other people will go no, and they take it
down to the local place, the dry cleaner, whoever does
the alterations. They go, you know what, that's not nearly
as expensive as I thought it was. And now these
geens fit perfect. Yeah I have to do that.

Speaker 8 (25:56):
I don't really have an option, and it's like eighteen
dollars to get them hemmed.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
But you know it is a fortune dry cleaning. My god,
you might as well just buy a new wardrobe.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
So list of rich people. Things that regular folks say
they found are actually cheaper than they thought. Okay, so
not that it's cheap cheap, it's just cheaper than they thought.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah. Yeah, art exhibits. Would never know, never got any exhibits,
all right, cheap to go.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
To those what do they call the Ferrara cher chocolate?

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Oh yeah, ferrarochet, yeah, gold foil.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Yeah, people thought those are I always think of those
as drug store Yeah they are.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
In fact, I remember hearing at like a little expos
on it, and they wanted to create something that looked
fancy for people that couldn't afford fancy stuff.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
And I think they did a great job. It worked. Ferrero,
they're so good, so good good wine.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah, you don't have to spend a fortune on that.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
But even the people who like wine don't really know
what the hell they're talking. Absolutely disproven.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
I told you about that friend who would have dinner parties,
bring a bottle minimum fifty dollars, and I would go
to some cheap ass store get a three dollars bottle and.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
They have no idea.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
This is incredible. Where did you get it? And then
this is the line you always go with, I got
it from my own collection. Oh it's vague enough that
I don't remember where I got it. Collection.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
So rich people things quote unquote that regular folk not
rich say they found are cheaper than they thought. Hiring
a monthly house cleaner. I once a month, I have
somebody come through and do like a deep cleaning or
whatever of your bathrooms and those other things that you
just don't want to do. You keep up with, like
maybe the dusting or some light vacuuming and things in between.
But when it comes to like the scrubbing and stuff.

Speaker 6 (27:41):
To shower, I'm about to pull the trigger.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
I almost did, and then I said, no, what am
I I'm not Oprah the thing?

Speaker 4 (27:47):
There are so many people out there that do this.
Or my aunt Chrissy. I wonder what she charges Crissy
to come to my house. I wonder what she charges,
and she does a great job. Yeah, I don't think
it's I don't think it's a lot at all.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Really, Yeah, uh, I did it once in my life.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
What she charges like you have to do some shopping
around like anything else.

Speaker 6 (28:05):
Yeah, I thought it'd be like five hundred bucks.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Five hundred bucks. No, that's what I know.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
No, because I hired somebody when I moved out of
an apartment and it was I want my deposit back,
I want it to look perfect. This woman was incredible.
She was standing on the bathroom counters cleaning the tops
of the light bulbs.

Speaker 14 (28:23):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
But see that's not even the one month thing that
we're talking about. We're talking about to somebody who comes in, right, Yeah,
you keep up like once a month. That's good.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
Okay, I love that.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Playing never did it.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Playing tennis made the list rich people. Things that regular
folks found are cheaper than they thought. I don't know
how much he thought tennis is going to be. There's
public courts everything. Oh here's what I could speak to.
Giving out full candy bars on Halloween. You want to go. Yeah,
that was always the dream. But that was always he
I don't.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Know if that's true anymore.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Well, because you just go to Costco, you go to
Sam's Club. That's where I go. I'll go to Costco
and I'll get the They always have a big old
palad of them as a multi pack of the you
know Hershey Bars, Recent Peanut butter Cups, Snickers kit Cat
and the M and M's Peanut and regular huh and
the variety thing. There's like thirty full sized bars in

(29:14):
one box. The box is like twenty bucks right now.
Can you go cheaper? You can? But if it's your
dream to be the full sized candy bar house, as
it was mine, I'm like, someday, yeah, I'm gonna do that.
What success looks like. And I don't even care about
anybody else's kids. It was for me. I wanted to
be the full sized candy bar house, Like how Menace
wanted to have the kitchen aid stand mixer. Yeah he

(29:37):
doesn't bake. Yeah, I've never used it.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
To look at it.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
Yeah, he's like, you know what, someday I'm going to
have that.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Yeah I get it.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Yeah, a nice leather belt.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Who cares?

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Greg, this is something that you need TSA pre check.

Speaker 14 (29:53):
I mean.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
Five years, it's like eighty bucks. You might even have
something you might do you have like a do you
have an American Express card?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
I don't, okay, And I will tell you this from
the bottom of my heart. It's not that it's eighty bucks.
It could be two hundred bucks. I would do it
if I traveled more. I don't need.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
But you travel enough. You travel against your will.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Yeah, that's the only time I travel. But you end
up traveling enough under duress. You know, I will never
fly again unless I have to ever, But.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
You end up traveling enough that in the next five years,
you're gonna be traveling enough.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
All I'm thinking about is the last time we flew together, well,
not the most recent time, the time before that. I
was through security long before you and you have pre
check and whatever.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
I had all this equipment in my bag and I
don't know what they thought it was. It was audio
equipment because we were doing the show on the road.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
And every time I go to an airport with you,
they basically end up strip searching you.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Yeah, you specifically. But this last time that we traveled together, Greg, Yeah,
I flew where I saw you in the line, and
I flew right but I was like, I was gone.
I was down at the the relax my back massage place.
Ye face down in the massage chair, and Greg's like
still taking his shoes off.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
That I'm saying that I was at the bar.

Speaker 11 (31:12):
You're not going to ever do like international travel, but
do that Global Entry was so awesome on the Lake
of Mexico, that dude, the long ass customs line versus
the Global Entry just walked right through.

Speaker 6 (31:25):
I can test to say that not having Global Entry
was the longest day of my life really in customs.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
Yeah yeah, and then uh and then Gray Poupon. Remember
the commercials. Yeah, that's another example of what you were
talking about with the chocolates. Yeah, where they just trying
to make it. Yeah, they wanted to make it premium.
They wanted to make it totally.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
You know what the other one was, if anyone remembers
it from the eighties and nineties, the Venetta ice cream.
Remember the flakes in the middle.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
It looked like yes, oh yeah, and.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
That was supposed to be the height of fanciness.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Wait a minute, is that wait? Was it the ice cream?

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Yeah, yeah, with the chocolate like briars, yeah, like bright Yeah,
it was.

Speaker 10 (32:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (32:05):
Vanta and because everyone had like gown gloves and they
deserved it.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
High school the same category you'll play I thought was fancy.

Speaker 11 (32:15):
Yeah, or in high school the golds Schlogger because gold
flakes in.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
It sell that.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
If you ever think advertising doesn't work, oh, think about Vaneta.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
Yeah, Gray Poupon eight seven seven forty four. Would he
set us a text over to two to nine eighty
seventy have anything you want to add to the list
these uh rich people things quote unquote that regular folks
have found are actually cheaper than they thought. Like, yeah,
you know what that wasn't a billion bucks?

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (32:40):
Pretty cool?

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Yeah, I would put hot tubs on that list. You would, yeah,
because I mean you could even go on Facebook marketplace.
People are hot giving them away.

Speaker 11 (32:50):
Because when I go to the fair and they have
them all set up in the middle.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Well those are big. But once people have them and
they don't want them, they'll sell them for pennies on
the dolls.

Speaker 4 (32:57):
Did they work?

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Yeah they do.

Speaker 6 (32:59):
They're having a hot time.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
I'm still kind of in the market. Yeah, I'm checking
them out. A lot of hot tub A lot of
people want to give them away.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
He'll get a hot tub, but he won't save himself
a little bit of time with the once a month
having somebody coming clean.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Even I even booked it about a week pre check
and then cancel it. Yeah, I'm like what am I doing?

Speaker 3 (33:18):
What?

Speaker 6 (33:18):
Am I Rockefeller?

Speaker 11 (33:19):
I just loved up on on our friends at air Tasker,
and you can just like pretty much just set your
budget on like what you want for a house cleaner?

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Really? Yeah, you tell them like what you're willing.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Your favorite question, how much do you want to pay?

Speaker 4 (33:31):
That's a question he was talking about, like going to
the car dealership.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
What do you want to pay?

Speaker 4 (33:35):
I want to pay nothing.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
I would love to pay you zero.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
I would love to be the million customer and get
a free car or.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
The other one. What are you comfortable paying? I'm not
comfortable spending a dollar.

Speaker 4 (33:48):
Eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, anything you think that
we should add the list to this up on the
text over to two to nine eight seven, be right back,
be right back. We are heavy metal band.

Speaker 6 (34:01):
I mean everybody knows that.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Wait wait, hold on, wait, wait where am I? The
woody shot? While cops in Canada, they were called to
this accident on a lake involving a kayak. They were
told that a drunken man had stolen someone's kayak and
was on the water with it. Grand theft kayak, paddling
around with a snowshovel. Oh love it? So they headed

(34:27):
out to the work kayak obviously pretty easy to find
because it was capsized right in the middle of the lake.
The man who stole it, he was struggling in the
water because he was too drunk to swim. The shore
police were able to pull out the sixty three year
old dude from the water. They arrested him and he's
been charged with impaired operation of a vessel.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
About you charged him with stealing the kayak? Con you
can't even drink in kayak?

Speaker 6 (34:55):
Yeah, what's his world coming too?

Speaker 4 (34:56):
That's why kayaks, I understand right here. Stand why no
drinking and operating like a motorized boat. But it's a kayak.
What are you going to do aggressively paddle into another boat? Victims? Yeah,
if you happen to capsize and you drown because you

(35:17):
went out there drunk or drinking or whatever, that's that's
your problem.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
You know, Like where can you be drunk? People nowhere?
Like certain certain things. Yeah, definitely bust them for stealing
a kayak.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
Yeah, if you're drunk on a bicycle, who cares? Not
a motorized bike, not like these bikes, not not those
on a regular bike.

Speaker 11 (35:41):
On the motor boats too, because people are so overconfident
on how they can, you know, steer a boat, and
then when you're drunk, it's horrible.

Speaker 4 (35:50):
I'd like to learn how to do what I'd like
to learn how to drive a boat where you dock it. Anybody,
anybody can drive the boat and open water. I'm talking
about when they pull it in and they're not even
so I remember because a buddy of mine had a
boat and he was, you know, teaching me. You know this,
this is years ago, so I haven't even tried it,

(36:10):
uh in a long time. But you had right for
the dock. So like the boat is like let's let's
say you're you're going to basically form a t The
boat is the the up and down part, and then
the dock goes left to right. You want to aim
for that, and at some point you kick the wheel
and you pull it into reverse and it basically just
kind of it kind of it kind of goes slideways

(36:33):
went to the dock. Because then you get close enough
you're able to take the rope and throw it onto
the little hook thing and pull over, you know, pull
the boat in and tie it down. But there there's
a there's an art to it, and I think it
looks super cool. It's like when baseball players slide in
the second and stand up a stand up slide. So
they slide and you know, just able to stand right
back up using the momentum of the slide to then

(36:55):
stand back up. That's cool. I want to be able
to do that. There's this dude on insta dock the
boat slide, the standing slide. His entire Instagram page is
how he is a charter pilot for these multi million
dollar yachts and he shows how you dock them and
oh man, the stress. Like he's in these ten million
dollar yachts. Oh just backing it into a tiny little diamond. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (37:17):
And for cruise ships, they hire somebody from that port
to come out in like.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
A teeny tiny little dinghy into the port pilot.

Speaker 6 (37:23):
Yeah, like climb up the boat and do it and
climb back down and row back.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
Yeah. So the captain of a lot of these cruise
ships they're not bringing they don't know what, they're not
bringing the boat into port. There's a guy that comes
out and does that and he gets paid good money.
So he gets to drive all these really big cool
ships and then go home at night. That's that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Well, there's tug boats that help with the cruise ship dockings.
Those guys make bank. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (37:47):
Once my grandfather's driving a speedboat and they hit a
bump and he flew out the boat and my grandmother
was still in there. So it was going straight for shore.
So she's like, I don't know what to do, so
she just pulled the keys out of the Unluckily it's
slow down by the time.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
I would never want to own a boat. I've just
heard too many stories.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Yeah too.

Speaker 6 (38:06):
Well, everyone says two best days of your life, so
you buy it in the day you sell it.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
I think it's because most people aren't living on the water. Like,
if you live on the water and you have a
little dock right there, I think that would be different
because it's just as easy as just going outside, getting
on the boat and taking it out, for sure. But
if you have to like put it on the trailer,
hook the trailer up to the suv, take it down
to the launch and ramp, you're like f this, Oh thanks, yeah.

Speaker 8 (38:30):
Yeah, unless you do like water skiing and wakeboarding and
that kind of stuff, and that's your hobby.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
But that's every once in a while. But I'm saying
that's why ownership of the boat at that point.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
Just rent the boat, yeah, or you to have it
docked all year round and like winter rise, like.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
All that stuff that goes with it too. I think
if you have one of those, and I see them
a lot on House Hunters when they do Florida. Everybody
lives on a canal of some kind. Yeah, like that
was cool. Yeah, people are hanging out there on their
back patios and stuff, watching boats go by. That's kind
of cool. That's where my girl lives.

Speaker 11 (38:58):
She lives on a canal like that, and yeah, the
boats in the backyard, it's really really cool. Like she
also has like this pontoon boat that I would take
out and the motor for it she would keep in
the shed. So I had to like get it out
of the shed. It's heavy, yeah, and then you like
will it down to the to the dock and then
I have to hang over the water and like it

(39:20):
attach it and fell in the water so many times.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Nine one nine. What do you show? What's your stance
on drunk people riding horses? Fine with it? Yeah, whatever,
the horse doesn't care. Yeah, I don't care, Like, don't
ride it down the middle of the highway, right, you know,
or down a sidewalk.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
That's the same.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
Like, I don't care if you're sober and you're riding
your bike down the middle of a highway or exactly.
You know, Like we're talking about those cyclists the other day, Like, yah, man,
I'm fine with you riding your bike and everything, but
don't just be a dick just to hold people up
to prove that kind of thing. But yeah, if you're
just on a horse and you're drunk.

Speaker 11 (39:50):
Cowboys were drunk all the time and.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
They were cool, be fine. They were thinking like they
were smoking unfiltered cigarette, drinking whiskey. Yeah. You think those
guys ever bought a rubber right? Never? Please? Those are men,
you know what I mean. Now, look at you think
they used like shaving cream or purel. No, dude, they
had whatever knife they use just to cut rope with

(40:15):
and they looked in a ratty old mirror in an
outhouse and shaved their face right because.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Wearing those flannel ones.

Speaker 4 (40:24):
Yeah with the back.

Speaker 11 (40:26):
Yeah, I'm actually we had a time machine. We can
go like talk to the cowboys and be like, look, dude,
in our day. We can't like drink drink to be
on a horse like like what happened to society.

Speaker 8 (40:39):
We've been saying rules, the boy doesn't want to have sex.

Speaker 4 (40:43):
Ye, you gotta put your mouth on.

Speaker 2 (40:44):
The Okay, that is quite impressive, quite quite quite impressively.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
We've been saying lah lah lah lah lah lah warming up.
Lolah lock lo la la la la. Me uh yeah.
Friday fail story, Tom Guys, Yeah, yeah, I got some
good fail stories for you. If you want to check

(41:16):

Friday fail stories. It is yelling, boys and girls, it

(42:27):
is time for your Fronday fan all story. All these
people thought they had the perfect plan, The plan that
can never go wrong within Somewhere along the line that
went from being a great idea to one big, stinking,
mega uber ultra out at the end. What was that? Like? Enough, Look, guys,

(43:06):
I've had a little science thing going on all week,
and right in the middle of it, as I was
holding the notes, all of a sudden, like it just
something slid into the path of the of the beautiful
sound that we were making. And that was my fault.
That was That was my fault. That's okay. This first
one here is from Pleasanton, California. This guy he was
hanging out with his twin brother and some friends. They

(43:29):
were out in and out there, and they got some
burgers and some of their disgusting fries, and then thought
it would be a cool idea to light some fireworks
right there in the parking lizard, very cool idea. His
friend handed him a firework about the size of a
tennis ball, and when he lit it, it went off
immediately and blew off his whole hand. He looked down

(43:51):
his whole hand was missing, like it disintegrated. He was
rushed to the hospital and the best the doctors could
do was save his wrist. Still as a wrist, but
the hand blew off and it was his dominant hand too,
which now means that he has to learn how to
do things like, you know, right and brush his teeth
and tid on socks and joe and things like that.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
But yeah, wow.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
Sales fun, that's how you learn fun. This is from
Maryland where this twenty nine year old dude, he was
looking for some quick cash. He decided to do that
by robbing a store. Yeah, SeaBASS was telling us about
this guy. This is the guy that pulled up to
the Verizon store he robbed the place, that ended up
calling the police himself. Why because he was busy doing

(44:33):
the whole robbing the Verizon store thing. Meanwhile another thief
was busy doing their thing and stole the guy's car there.
I mean, you just can't go into rob a place
these days society without somebody stealing your car.

Speaker 11 (44:46):
I thought there was mutual respect between robbers.

Speaker 4 (44:49):
The cops knew what was up. They connected the dots.
Here's a clip from the officer's body cam.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
Or you at that Verizon store, because you've got blood
on your hands, and butter wasn't that vers to God
have a sea. So here's the deal.

Speaker 10 (45:02):
Someone stole much.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
I understand, I understand that.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
So the gigs up.

Speaker 2 (45:06):
It's whether you want to be honest about stuff or not.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
I left.

Speaker 7 (45:09):
I left that.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Yeah that's some karma right there.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
Yes, but he swore to God man yeah no horizons. Yeah,
so sailed. He was arrested and taken off to failed jail.
This next one is about this dude in Scotland. He
was just tired. He's been working a lot, needed to relax,
so he decided to use his massage gun. You know,

(45:34):
like with those thera guns. But you know people use
on their shoulders, their legs, their arms, stuff like that.
This guy used it on his eyeballs. Yeah, I guess
sometimes man, you rub your eyes, I feel so good.
You're like yeah, but he's like, you know it might
be good. Let me use this miss this massage gun
on my eyeballs. Not smart. He jacked up his eyes

(45:54):
real bad. Retinal Yeah, dialysis sure, d I A L
Y S I S. Yeah, Okay it looked wrong. Yeah yeah, anyway,
totally messed up his vision. When he showed up at
the doctor's office, they they couldn't believe it, like you did?

Speaker 2 (46:15):
What and why?

Speaker 4 (46:16):
It was so bad he had to have surgery to
fix his sales, to fix his eyeballs.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
It was the.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Dumbass and actual good news.

Speaker 11 (46:23):
I follow this account that like tells you about all
the breakthroughs this week, and there was this kid who
designed this thing with AI that can do a retinal
scan that detects a d D and autism. So I
guess there's something in the eye. Yeah, that will detect
that kind of stuff.

Speaker 4 (46:39):
And they can see it. Yeah, they can see, like
how much you love trains and stuff. Yeah that's weird. Yeah,
se training pretty crazy. Yeah, I'm looking at Oh yeah,
I can see that. You know, every sports score from
the past thirty years. It is h This next one,
it's out of Ohio. Semi truck was leaking all over

(47:00):
the highway. Was hauling forty thousand pounds of Frank's Red
Hot sauce. Now you can't put that ish on anything
in this case, all over the highway. Oh No, driver
not even aware the sauce was pouring out of the
car the vehicle, so he just kept driving. The cops
they followed the trail all the way to the truck
stop where the truck had pulled over. I mean it
was all over the road and it was just baking

(47:23):
in the summer heat the cruise. They had to call
in the hazmat team thanks to the acidity of the
hot sauce. Oh yeah, it was like, what does it matter?

Speaker 6 (47:31):
Yeah, but yeah, so salt grab your chicken tends.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
And this next one, this final one, my favorite story
of the week about a guy who was doing a
little camping out in the California forest and he had
to use the restroom. So he did his business like normal,
but in the process, he accidentally dropped his sunglasses into
the campsite toilet.

Speaker 6 (47:52):
Then it goes away and then you're done with sunglasses.

Speaker 4 (47:54):
Now keep in mind this type of toilet no water,
doesn't flush. Yeah, we've all used one exactly that. I'd
be like, well the way, I don't at the end
of that, But instead of chalking it up to lost cause,
he decided he was going to get him back. Long
story short, he ended up falling in and he was
stuck and couldn't get out. So not only did he
fall in couldn't get out, cops were called for a

(48:17):
quote confined space rescue. How embarrassing.

Speaker 10 (48:23):
I don't care if.

Speaker 11 (48:24):
They're like Gucci sung yeah, or whatever it's done.

Speaker 4 (48:28):
Here's a rep from the police department telling reporters what
happened for.

Speaker 15 (48:31):
They advised that the subject had fallen into the chemical
storage tank. Law enforcement camp Edison staff fire personnel responded
were able to safely get him out, decontaminate them.

Speaker 6 (48:43):
Ye, spray him off like an elephant.

Speaker 11 (48:46):
No word, something that dropped in there that you would
go get?

Speaker 10 (48:49):
You would?

Speaker 6 (48:51):
I mean even my dog would be pushing it.

Speaker 4 (48:54):
I don't know. I mean I think like you're something
like like ID no, I get another one?

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Yeah, like a friendly heirloom. Maybe what if you dropped
your entire wallets, your ID, all your credit cards, all
that stuff done?

Speaker 4 (49:07):
Just cancel them? I think I might. I think I'm
I will do what I can. I'm not climbing in there.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
Yeah, I'm seeing the phone number on the side of
the exactly.

Speaker 4 (49:17):
Yeah. Maybe something like that. But anyway, no word, if
you got the sign classes, I have no idea if
you had sale the question quick break more what he
shows next hand. I wanted to ask you, guys, what
you thought this person should do? You send us an email,

(49:37):
let me find it right quick. You can send us
your email email at the woodieshow dot com. It's email
at the woodieshow dot com. All right, this is oh yeah.
They asked to stay anonymous. What do you showed need
advice on this one? I received a Stanley mug as
a gift from one of my subordinates, which was very kind.

(50:01):
But I'm not a basic bitch. What do I do
with said mug? Do I have to use it at
work to show appreciation and risk being looped in with
all the other Lululemon generic hose.

Speaker 14 (50:16):
Dude?

Speaker 4 (50:17):
Or do this woman's clearly in management of some kind
the other Lulu Lemon generic hose? Or do I take
it home and regift it? These things are expensive and
I do appreciate the gesture, but man, this thing is
heavy and pretty gay. Help me, you're my only hope. Yeah. Ps,

(50:39):
I threw in the Star Wars reference for bort and
to antagonize Sea Bass pps. Please keep me anonymous, as
I don't want any hurt feelings. All right? Yeah? What
happens when you get a gift like that? Because that's
clearly not something that you give somebody and it's for
their use at home. It's something that you know you expect, right,
maybe leave it at work.

Speaker 11 (51:00):
That's what I was about to say. If you have
a desk, just leave it on.

Speaker 4 (51:02):
The desk, I know. But if it's never getting used,
it looks like it's being there, it's stay core.

Speaker 6 (51:08):
Yeah, that's a win win because you don't really have
to use it and the person thinks you're using it.

Speaker 10 (51:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (51:12):
You know what I did once? I felt bad. I
I was going to an event and I thought I
was going to stay the night, so they got me
the hotel room, and I felt bad for not using it.
So what I did is I went in there and
I just messed the bed up and then oh my god,
that's so funny. Yeah, like, oh no, yeah, but it was.
It was too it was too late because it was

(51:34):
like a last minute thing. I had to plans changed,
had to get back home, couldn't spend the night, so
I just high tailed it back afterwards, and I just
like messed the bed up. Who was that for? Though?

Speaker 2 (51:44):
What?

Speaker 4 (51:44):
Who was that? Who were do you think he was
going to see that? Just so I don't know, I
don't know.

Speaker 11 (51:49):
I've done that, have you good a couple of times?
And one of them was just like this place is
kind of dumpy. I ain't staying here, and so I
just messed up the bed and left.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
Our friend Tony speaking of hotels and things he would
do every time he go in, did they still put bibles?
I always in the hotel. Whenever he would go into
a hotel, he'd get the Bible, open it up and
sign the front page. Stay a play at Jesus Christ,
like an autograph copy. Awesome, that's worth so much when
you autograph, which which is very much him. Yeah, I

(52:23):
don't know. I mean, I see what you're saying, but
I think every once in a while, but if if
your concern sounds silly to say, if your concern is
you want to be lumped in, if you keep it
on your desk and it makes it look like you're
using it.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
You might as well use it defeating the purpose.

Speaker 6 (52:37):
Then you're gonna have to start watching Love Island.

Speaker 4 (52:39):
Oh yeah, Jeff, Jeff, tell everybody what happened.

Speaker 10 (52:44):
I get home yesterday after our meeting, and we were
talking about Love Island a bunch, right.

Speaker 4 (52:47):
Yeah, because we're like, man, there were so many people.
Remember how people are crazy with bachelor, Bachelor, Yeah, well
that type of that type of hysteria, that type of
fandom is now being applied to Love Island. Yeah, and
people are all about it.

Speaker 11 (53:00):
Yeah, And I blamed I kind of blame Euphoria for
that because it was really popular in the UK. That's
where Love Island started, and all the hipsters and like
cool people were saying, oh, I'm watching Love Island but UK,
and it was got It got highlighted in Euphoria, and
then then in America they started broadcasting their own version,

(53:23):
and then it started becoming popular. In the first season, I.

Speaker 16 (53:28):
Get home yesterday and what's on my wife's TV in
the front room freaking Love Island Island.

Speaker 10 (53:34):
I was so disappointed. I go, you're not one of them.

Speaker 16 (53:37):
Why are you doing I've ever found out?

Speaker 10 (53:40):
She goes, I watch it with with Owen, our youngest son,
And why is he watching it? Because it's all about.

Speaker 16 (53:46):
Fying and everything else and cheating and making out with
a bunch of aroundom people. But that that was my point,
this is what you're bonding over. And she's like, shut up,
She's like, let me just watch my stuff. You don't
have to watch it. Shut up and just go watch
whatever you want to watch. So it's not awkward for her.

Speaker 4 (54:02):
Like if they are watching something like that and she's
sitting there with her son and they're people slamming.

Speaker 16 (54:07):
That's what I said, Man, you're teaching them to be
a cheater and a narcissist.

Speaker 4 (54:10):
Also, it's also just uncomfortable watching a sex scene. Well,
here's the thing. If I'm watching something and my dad
and step mom around, it's a different vibe than it
is with my mom. And my mom is very like proper, yeah,
very very straight edge in a lot of ways.

Speaker 2 (54:24):
You know, it's so awkward.

Speaker 4 (54:26):
Like imagine watching a sex scene with your mom. Like
your mom, like our mothers are very much like personality wise,
very very very much the same. I'll go to my
classy you know, in my very classy broads.

Speaker 11 (54:40):
In law's house, and it would be my brother in
law and you know, the mom and dad and they're
watching like Narcos, and it's like all like drugs, straight
up murder and like sex. It's like it's crazy watching
it together.

Speaker 4 (54:53):
I think I told you guys this story years ago,
years and years ago. My wife bought tickets for her
dad so they can together go to go see Ron White. Yeah,
because that whole like blue collar comedy festival at the
time was super huge, and my father in law thought
Ron White was super funny. So my wife's like, oh,
that'll be fun. So she for his birthday for something,

(55:16):
bought them tickets so they can go together to go
see Ron White. Got really good seats. They're pretty close
to the front, and they're sitting there and they're watching.
And now keep in mind, my father in law had
only seen Ron White on the television where it's pretty
much cleaned up. Now this is a live show. He
did about thirty minutes on anal and she's sitting there

(55:39):
with her dad, and she said she wanted it to die.
Yeah you just.

Speaker 6 (55:43):
Wait at that point, No way.

Speaker 4 (55:48):
I love that for her though. That's good for you.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (55:51):
But at our house these days, whenever there's something a
little a little too steamy coming on and we pass
forward it, the kid who's almost loves.

Speaker 4 (55:57):
Like, you know, what are you doing?

Speaker 6 (55:59):
Yeah, super curious, really wants to see it, but we're uncomfortable,
Like now later.

Speaker 4 (56:04):
I want to see it. Yeah, see, now you've created that.
That's that was the Howard certain thing with me. My
mom said, you're not allowed to listen to this man,
and that's that started my obsession with it, because what
am I not supposed to? But if I'm saying, if
you just if you just kind of let it pass enough,
it goes on and on on and go. Yeah, can
we let's just watch something else? This is kind of
getting boring. Yeah, not where all of a sudden you're jumping,

(56:24):
because now all of a sudden there's a yeah, and
you're diving on the remote. It's a curious guy. Of course,
he's a young man. Yep, he's going to get worse
at the age where we were looking in the national
geographics trying to see I can.

Speaker 11 (56:40):
With the Love Island thing. People become addicted to it?
Now I could be wrong. Is this the thing? Also
that they show like stuff like twenty four seven online
that you so you can watch it, and then a
lot of it's like in real time when they're making
the episodes like live streams.

Speaker 16 (56:53):
Yeah, yeah, they have like recap shows and yes, people,
there's so much programming for it.

Speaker 10 (56:59):
It's crazy. And that's all that she's going to do now.
And that's why I shamed her for it. Take up
it's going to take up your whole day.

Speaker 4 (57:06):
Well, she got kind of mad. She did Yeah, she
got really defensive.

Speaker 10 (57:09):
You know, we talked about it yesterday.

Speaker 4 (57:11):
You know, yes, I just I just.

Speaker 6 (57:14):
Did Love Island live stream and it's live streaming right
now with somebody like in a confessional talking to the camera.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
Text here back to the listener's question about the Stanley
that she got from her employee. The water cup situations
happened to me. The listener should carry it around for
a couple of days and pretend to use it and
then regift it. As long as the gifter sees the
listener quote using the cup, the gift giver will assume
that she uses it all the time.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
That's good.

Speaker 4 (57:41):
You've got to be seen with it once kind of thing,
and then you can love in my cup. Make sure
they see it.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
You also have to be in the mindset that when
you give somebody a gift, it's theirs. They can do
whatever the hell they want with it.

Speaker 3 (57:52):
That's true.

Speaker 8 (57:52):
I mean, I'm not a post to them giving it
to somebody who's going to use it. As a gift giver,
you just want whatever you bought to be used by somebody.

Speaker 6 (57:59):
Yeah, but if you're buying it for your boss, you're
like proud to you don't have them show it off
and that ain't happening them.

Speaker 4 (58:05):
Well, yeah, because if you put some thought into it,
if it was just like I got you something to
get you something, then who cares what they do it to.
But it's when you think that you've come up with
like a really good idea, right yeah, and maybe just
use it. You might love it.

Speaker 2 (58:17):
I mean, let me use it.

Speaker 4 (58:21):
It'll change your life. Hold on, what's the quote? I
risk being looped in with all the other Lululemon generic ho's,
but you might love it. You're just judging them up.
He puts the G.

Speaker 17 (58:33):
In Garcia SoCal Sports with Jeff Garcy.

Speaker 4 (58:40):
All right, Jeff g what's happening with the sports? Well,
hold on and give your microphone on. I would help.

Speaker 10 (58:44):
What's happening heavy for Heddy?

Speaker 4 (58:45):
What do you show?

Speaker 16 (58:46):
Let's go ahead, start with the Angels. They lost again
yesterday in Texas seven to six. Halo is moving on
to Minnesota this weekend. Doyers were off yesterday. They welcome
the d Backs to Dodger Stadium tonight, Black Heritage Tonight
Tomorrow sun LAFC Bobblehead Night, and on Sunday. Keike Hernandez
pitching bobblehead. Also, if you are an Otani stand Hallmark

(59:06):
is dropping and you keep saying Christmas tree ornament over
Tani this weekend on Hallmark dot com. Thanks Menace for
shooting that over to me. And don't forget we got
those Dodgers sweet tickets any moment. Right here on the
Woody Show. UFC three twenty nine is Manyana cart is
pretty stacked. Of course, everybody's focused on Connor McGregor. He's
back tomorrow night fighting Max Holloway for the second time.

Speaker 10 (59:26):
World Cup.

Speaker 16 (59:27):
Yesterday France beat Morocco to be the first into the
final four. Today Spain and Belgium at Sofi Stadium Tomorrow,
Norway Norway, England and Argentina Switzerland, WNBA Sky at the
Sparks today at Crypto and Angel CITYFC at San Diego
Wave tomorrow. NBA Summer League Clippers lost last night Lake
Show tonight versus the Thunder, and finally this morning, the

(59:49):
Clippers and Raptors executed a trade for Kawhi Leonard.

Speaker 10 (59:53):
Now it's on.

Speaker 16 (59:54):
Hold because the NBA needs to complete its investigation into
those bs aspiration pays for Kawhi Leonard. Do you remember
that story where they like paid him on the side
to do these fake ads. It was like seventy million
dollars or something for that fake plant company.

Speaker 10 (01:00:08):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 16 (01:00:09):
So word is that he might be suspended now for
almost half the season if they can prove it that
these fake payments were happening. So obviously, if you're the Raptors,
why do you want to trade for a player you're
only going to get for half the season, right, Yeah,
So we'll see how all that plays out.

Speaker 10 (01:00:23):
And that's your so Cal sports right here on the
Woody Show.

Speaker 17 (01:00:25):
All right, Jeff G. Wood Show, all right, welcome back, dude.

Speaker 4 (01:00:36):
There is there's a clip, man that gets me out
of any funk, any bad mood. It doesn't matter what's
going on if if I see this clip or sometimes
I'll even look it up because like, even though I've
seen it a billion times, it kills me every time.
And it stars a couple of our friends, Burke Kreischer

(01:00:59):
and Tom Cigarette. I think I told you before, like
I remember watching this clip and going, man like, it'd
be so great to have a friend like that, like
that kind of romance like that. I don't know, and
I do. And that's the thing. It's like I do have.
But it's like, man, you watch that and it makes
you want to like when people go, man, I saw
whatever the story was, and it made me want to
call my son and just give him a big hug,

(01:01:20):
or maybe me want to call my mom, and maybe
it made me wanted to reach out to my homies
and be like, you know, hey, I just want to
let you know that I appreciate you. Nice Waite. Yeah,
but dude, it kills me every time. I laughed so
hard that like I'm crying. And you've probably seen it.
It's where they're doing their Two Bears podcast and Bert

(01:01:41):
goes to pour himself a little bit of it, like
he's drinking kool Aid out of like a sixty four
ounce like one of those giant forget the Stanley's like
a giant water jug and it just filled with kool
Aid and Tom can't believe it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
I kool Aid, the kool Aid you drink. You're drinking
kool Aid to start your days. So good for kind Red,
you are drinking kool Aid. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 12 (01:02:12):
Drinking sixty foreheads so much.

Speaker 18 (01:02:29):
Sugar walk around.

Speaker 4 (01:02:43):
Good for that guy, water.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
So much good. Let's have a gallon of cool Aid.

Speaker 19 (01:03:04):
You're like, I'm getting my dating right now.

Speaker 14 (01:03:12):
Drink.

Speaker 4 (01:03:26):
It reminds me of God, there's another adult man, the
two gawns of kool Aid. How many adult dudes are
just like drinking two gallons of kool aid every day?
And it reminds me like, because every once in a while, man,
something catches Greg and he loses it. Yeah, and we

(01:03:48):
don't have We don't know what he's laughing about. But
now we're laughing so hard that we're crying. That is
an immediate mood shifter right there. Oh god, yeah, dude,
it gets me. It gets me every.

Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
Time Tom better when the this year.

Speaker 4 (01:04:01):
I knows him. He deserves you like that shows. I
haven't watched the second season yet. I like the it
seems like you're kind of show.

Speaker 9 (01:04:12):
I liked the the Karate What the hell the guy
Karate the actor who's famous for faking his.

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
The fat one.

Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
I love the segment.

Speaker 9 (01:04:24):
Otherwise it was very one note with all the sex stuff,
but I love the ciagall stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Also, season two is better. The laughing thing laughing is contagious,
like yawning. Yeah, yeah, I found a clip this is Greg.
I don't even know what was going on, but somehow
we have a recording of great and this is one
of the this is what I'm talking about. It's one
of those random times where Greg is just losing it
and he just can't stop laughing and it's making the

(01:04:49):
rest of us laugh.

Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
That's the idea for I have the best idea.

Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
Guys. Let's be sarcastic.

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
Hey, anything, got any ideas? Yes I do, Let's be sarcastic.

Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
God, oh god crying?

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Look all right, what are we doing?

Speaker 9 (01:05:33):
That was?

Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
That was what we were getting ready to record something.
So yeah, I don't know. So it was it was
rolling and then Greg just loses it the big because
the big plan was to I don't know, and I
just cut everybody else's microphone so I can get that
nice clean recording of Greg just losing it laughing. But

(01:05:55):
you're one of those people though, like you're laughing. Everybody's
laughing for me between Yeah, So what what's something? It
could be like something from a movie. It could be
something that you saw online that you saved and you
go back to it, just like something that just gets
you every time. Can you think of stuff? I? Yeah,

(01:06:19):
I know there's a there's a couple for me. But
you guys got stuff too. All right, Well, let's let's
take the break and then, uh, and then we'll come
back and I'll see what you guys got. You got clips?
You find a clip for me? Please? Sure?

Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
Well?

Speaker 4 (01:06:31):
Yeah, what what gets you every time? And you can
tell us on the text two over to two two
ninety seven will beat right back, right back? Well, no,
that Greg makes us laugh.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
When he laughs?

Speaker 4 (01:06:46):
What what I mean? What doesn't? But what really gets
you Greg? For you? What gets you every time?

Speaker 10 (01:06:52):
For me?

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
And this is more of just something that I love
that I find funny. It's more of a personal goal
to get you guys to accept the fact that jex
is one of the greatest movies of all time. Damn it.
If you ever thought that a phone could be funny,
JEXI is the proof. And this is JEXI telling uh

(01:07:14):
about what the movie. Just just Adam Divine from Workaholics,
who I love and I think he's brilliant. He gets
a brand new phone and the phone's software is called Jexy.
You're SERI, and it's supposed to make your life better.
But Jex's a total bitch and it's like kind of
being mean to him and trying to improve his life
and telling him how to live and what to order

(01:07:35):
for food because he's fat, this, that, and the other.
You never think a phone could be funny, and it is.
And then this one with JEXI is giving him directions
on which way to turn his car.

Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
Now turn left on Market Street.

Speaker 11 (01:07:48):
You're joking, right, there's six lanes of solid traffic.

Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
Turn left onto Market Street.

Speaker 10 (01:07:53):
No one turns left on the Market. I'm not turning
left on the Market.

Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:07:59):
You're making the situation so much better.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
Stop being a chicken pil How about you.

Speaker 4 (01:08:03):
Quit pressuring me?

Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
How about that Jaxy buckalkokuokok that is the sound chickens make.
Fi stop on a sock film.

Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
I have a sock.

Speaker 4 (01:08:12):
Okay, I have a sack. Let's go.

Speaker 10 (01:08:14):
I'm late for yoga.

Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
You know what, Fine, fine, I don't even care anymore.

Speaker 10 (01:08:26):
It's it's so funny.

Speaker 18 (01:08:29):
Adam Devine makes it look so effortless, and Jacks a
phone is funny.

Speaker 4 (01:08:35):
It's so good. He loves j e x I.

Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
He changes the music that he listens to. Oh, it's
just so well.

Speaker 4 (01:08:44):
It gets Craig every time. Rule like I know my
wife she watches those videos where I forget the guy's
name is comedian, but he uh, he's like narrating animals,
like what animals are saying, Like there would be like
a like a giant ape in the zoo. He's like, oh,
you come to me, you come. He's like pound his chest,
he let me, let me show him, and she's dying laughing.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
What are you laughing at?

Speaker 4 (01:09:05):
It's like those old yeah yeah yeah, what is the
freed menace gets you every time?

Speaker 11 (01:09:11):
Well, my absolute number number one has too much swearing
in it, and like it's in Spanish, but I know
you guys seen this video. It's a little kid who's
trying to cross this I would say, like a stream
of water and he's like walking on tree trunks and
his friends are like messing with it, and then he
gets knocked off into the water. So you hear the
splash and he's like, I wait, I wigh. It's hilarious,

(01:09:34):
but I can't play that. So my close second is
the old man cop who is trying to get a
cat adopted and then.

Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
The oh my god, yeah yeah like og, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:09:49):
Yeah, you know what you're talking about. So that that's
my clip there.

Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
Pinky. Hi, this is Pinky.

Speaker 4 (01:09:58):
This is Pinky. He's a male cat, domestic short hair.
He's available for a docs. He's Pet of the Week,
Classic County Animal Shop.

Speaker 14 (01:10:06):
He's a very loving cat.

Speaker 7 (01:10:12):
Pinky, Tinky, Pinky, what what what? Winky? Settle down man, dude.

Speaker 4 (01:10:31):
Pinky manimal. Somebody says, uh, the I don't know why,
but the I Like Turtles clip gets me every time.

Speaker 5 (01:10:44):
The kid at the Fairy I like Turtles.

Speaker 6 (01:10:49):
Okay, back to you.

Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
I mean the apparently kid. Yeah, straightforward. Yeah, that's that's
pretty good. Somebody said Pad O'Neill from kill Tony has
me luis losing it every time he's on. I'm not
familiar with Pad, with that new guy that's like kind
of balding. Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not familiar, but
I've seen a lot of clips from kill Tony, which
I'm like, dude, because you know, the more uncomfortable, the
more inappropriate, whatever, the better. I typically like it. Do

(01:11:13):
you have something c Bass, I mean, I mean I
love the the not really your personality.

Speaker 9 (01:11:17):
So the Leprechan clip is just always I mean, it's
it's classic. It's everywhere, you know the fact and just
think about it from a higher level. Besides the fact
that there's a hole, they road of people out looking
for a leprechon the fact that the news showed up.

Speaker 6 (01:11:34):
And did the witness drive like, there's.

Speaker 9 (01:11:37):
So many layers and it's it's it's so well, it's
well covered.

Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
I get it. But there's just so many layers to
it of different angles on it that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
Curiosity leads to large crowds and mobiles critoned community. Many
of you bring binoculars, can quarders, even camera phones to
take pictures to me and the like.

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
Of level kind to me, I gotta do a look up.

Speaker 5 (01:11:57):
Bit of cheap.

Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
My witnesses say the leprechaun only comes out at night.
Others find it hard to believe and have come up
with their own theories and explanations for the image.

Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
Good be a quacket around it. Don't get up in
a tree and play a.

Speaker 9 (01:12:19):
That's what happened. Every every SoundBite is better than the last.

Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:12:24):
The leprechaun fluting to direct traffic says he's prepared for
his encounter with the leprechaun.

Speaker 4 (01:12:29):
He suited up from head to toe.

Speaker 7 (01:12:31):
This is a special lepric and flu yep I just
came to help out.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
Others just came to get lucky at hope it may
be buried under this tree.

Speaker 20 (01:12:40):
I'm gonna run a back hoot that tree.

Speaker 4 (01:12:43):
I want to know where to go, Where to go?

Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
Where to go?

Speaker 4 (01:12:47):
Okay, everyone's seen it, but it's so good in so
Gina Grad will get you every time. I love the.

Speaker 6 (01:12:53):
Dude who puts all the comments to music on Instagram,
the guy.

Speaker 4 (01:12:57):
Dal does Yale does I see? Our favorite?

Speaker 6 (01:13:00):
Is you know that like one hundred year old looking
dog that what's making fun of? But this one lately
has been killing me. It's this chick who is sitting
in her car. She's like a realtor, and she does
not blink the entire video and freaks everybody out.

Speaker 4 (01:13:14):
In these are the comments, I have a new too
bad two bath apartment, you chop.

Speaker 10 (01:13:19):
Is that this unit?

Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
Or is that just the other locations?

Speaker 10 (01:13:22):
Winking is a fundamental.

Speaker 4 (01:13:24):
Action that helps people understand that you aren't.

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Going to murder them.

Speaker 4 (01:13:28):
Give her a break.

Speaker 10 (01:13:28):
She hasn't quite got used to a human form yet.

Speaker 16 (01:13:32):
The bottom he's performed in unit or elsewhere, only interested.

Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
If in Uni.

Speaker 17 (01:13:38):
I'm understanding there, Stenet, I like to book a cancelation.

Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
I live in Canada and I'm still worry. I like
those of the commentsary you see that, like, yes, I'm
just curious. How do I book a cancel? How do
I cancel someone else's? Do you guys take cancelations? I
like to pre cancel? Yeah, this guy, he does a
ton of those where he takes all the best like
laugh out loud, it's you know this apartment you could

(01:14:04):
work for this guy? Ask you know you got you
got all this really cool like AI music making.

Speaker 11 (01:14:09):
Think anyone could beat this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:14:11):
Yeah, I know, but it does take a certain weight,
Like you have to know how to prompt it properly.
You were showing me some stuff the other day. Yeah,
you have to you know, you have to be a
selective and what you what you pick?

Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
The comments they're so funny.

Speaker 4 (01:14:23):
I love those speaking things that are like more like
memish than they are from a movie or whatever. And
I did clean this one up a little bit, but
it gets me every time. Have you seen it started
with like two friends kind of you know whatever, yelling
at each other, But then people have applied it to
like you'll see like a dog who's staring across a
field and sees a deer and they put the audio

(01:14:45):
to it with this, what your name? What? What is
your name? What's your name? Thank you?

Speaker 5 (01:15:02):
Hey?

Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
You know what I did last night? You better not
break my mother under. You better not that fly over now.
So it's even better. Yeah, it's even better when you
know it's like a you know, a couple of bears
with a lot of French bulldog video. Yeah, dude, it's

(01:15:23):
so funny. People now started doing it. If you've ever
been on a cruise you'll pull into a port somewhere
and there'll be another cruise ship from another cruise line
there and people are yelling between the two cruise ships.
Watch your name? What's your name? Is there you?

Speaker 10 (01:15:38):
If you was here?

Speaker 4 (01:15:39):
I don't know why. It's so funny. Yeah. Oh and
then you know, I'll play one more and then we're
gonna do a break. But uh, Cat Williams, dude, his
talk about delivery Cat Williams. How you know there's certain
people like a you know, Morgan Friedman. You could listen
to them read the phone book. Cat Williams, I think
could deliver anything. It's his delivery man. What he's saying

(01:16:03):
is funny and his delivery is good. But he was
in a movie called I've never seen the movie. I've
just seen this clip. It was a movie directed by
Nick Cannon of all people.

Speaker 11 (01:16:12):
Really yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:16:13):
The movie is called School Dance, Kat Williams, Tiffany Hattish,
and that's who's in this scene. It's Catwims. He's in prison.
This is so funny. He's this fun man. This another
one makes me laugh out. He's in prison. Tiffany Hattish
is the baby mama who's coming to visit him, and
she's got the two kids, his two kids coming to
visit him in prison.

Speaker 21 (01:16:33):
Here we go, say hi Daddy, Say Hi daddy, Hi Gay?

Speaker 7 (01:16:38):
Who's goddamn white baby?

Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
Is that?

Speaker 10 (01:16:40):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
The one little kid that's sitting on her lap, it
looks like a little white baby.

Speaker 4 (01:16:44):
It's got glasses on, looks like a total like dork.

Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:16:47):
The other kids, some black boy you know, clearly could
be his. This other one, say Hi Daddy, Say Hi daddy,
Hi gay?

Speaker 7 (01:16:56):
Who's god damn white baby?

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
Is that?

Speaker 22 (01:16:59):
This is Joe Bay Okay, he's just light skinted.

Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
Mm hm.

Speaker 22 (01:17:02):
That one might be mine. That one right there, I'm
not totally sure, just because you name him, Darren. Don't
mean he belonged to Darren, But I don't care what
this baby's name is. This baby is right skindid but
not light skinned. That is a white child. That is
Caucasian from the mountains of Caucasus. That is a Slavic baby,
a Viking from Icelam. That's good. That baby got seven

(01:17:24):
thirty as a credit rating. Right now, as an.

Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
Infer, you the only one I've been with, Darren, let
me explain to you the math.

Speaker 22 (01:17:30):
I've been in here sixteen consecutive years.

Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
You know how long consecutive is, don't you.

Speaker 22 (01:17:35):
Okay, so it means one right after the motherfucking of
it is.

Speaker 4 (01:17:39):
I ain't never missed the day.

Speaker 22 (01:17:40):
So clearly you've been having some conjugal visits with some
other motherfuckers other than me. That's not my baby. That's
almost a grown white man you brought in here. His
glasses are certainly grown. I've never seen a baby with
that type of prescription.

Speaker 11 (01:17:53):
Hey, Darren, that plays my mom like that man.

Speaker 4 (01:17:56):
Be respectful. You're absolutely right. I apologize for that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
This vision.

Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
Your mother was mis behave.

Speaker 22 (01:18:06):
I should have said that example funny, A nice white gentleman.

Speaker 4 (01:18:15):
From the Mountains of that's a Viking baby. That baby's
got a seven fifty credit score sitting here as an infant.
So funny. All right, We're got to take a break.
We'll come back more what he shows Next, we'll play
the d u i Q. If you want to play,
you want to be our contestant? Eight seven seven forty four.
What is the number to call? Give you a chance
to win something?

Speaker 14 (01:18:34):
Here?

Speaker 4 (01:18:35):
So d u i Q is next? Eight seven seven
forty four. What not the name of the mascot per Se? Yeah,
per Se, that's fancy, is always per Se.

Speaker 11 (01:18:47):
I love to do so that's a nice girl, sir.

Speaker 2 (01:18:58):
Shoe.

Speaker 4 (01:19:00):
Well, it's time for today's dumb ass contest, and today's
dumb ass contest is the d i Q. Yeah, d
u i Q eight seven seven forty four woody see
best explaining the way the game works, everybody, please.

Speaker 9 (01:19:16):
I find somebody who's out on these streets drunk, and
I ask them these easiest questions trivia you might ever imagine.
So the stuff that anybody would know, super simple dumb things.
And if you can quiz your like infants with yeah,
except for people like me, and then the game is well,
wait are they so drunk that they won't know the
answer to these otherwise easy questions.

Speaker 4 (01:19:34):
And if you can guess whether they know two times
out of three, you win.

Speaker 2 (01:19:37):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:19:38):
Eight seven, seven forty four Woody, as I mentioned, is
the number that you were calling to be our contestant.
And we're going to go to Uh what'd you say? See?

Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
Uh?

Speaker 13 (01:19:44):
Sammy's gonna shae Shae?

Speaker 4 (01:19:47):
Hey, what's up? Shay?

Speaker 7 (01:19:50):
Hey?

Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
What's going on?

Speaker 10 (01:19:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:19:53):
It's like hoy, all right, you're gonna play the d
u i Q. Now before we get to the questions
that count towards you winning a prize, We're gonna get
to know the drunk a little bit betterr and use
what we're here to kind of try to gauge how
with it or not with it? They are just how
ripped are they? Before you get to those questions? And
who is this person? Sea Bat?

Speaker 9 (01:20:10):
It's Vicki and she has a philosophy behind her drinking
that I think many people will agree with.

Speaker 23 (01:20:16):
A right, maybe I've been drinking tequila. Tequila has been
rocking my mother's world tonight.

Speaker 20 (01:20:21):
Do you understand me any particular brand you enjoy?

Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
Don Julio?

Speaker 20 (01:20:26):
She is this I think Espanola don Julia would be
a gentleman? Am I wrong?

Speaker 23 (01:20:30):
Oh my goodness, I don't even know about Espaniola. I
just know about English. I've been on tequila. So once
you drink, started drinking one thing, babe, ain't no flip flopping.
So if you're doing tequila tonight, it's tequila forever.

Speaker 20 (01:20:45):
Because what happens if you switch it.

Speaker 4 (01:20:46):
Up you would throw the You'd be sick as a dog.
Do you hear me? Yeah, I mean shout out to tequila. Yeah,
my go to. That's always the beer before the liquor.
Blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 9 (01:20:57):
It's just if you're drinking to the point that you
have multiple things, that's usually just gonna be a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:21:01):
And that's that's your main problem. So there's no real
truth to any of that. No stuff for like like
the darker the liquor any No, no, but like darker
liquor will have more of a hangout potentially.

Speaker 9 (01:21:14):
There just a good wine, was it, tann Yes, that's
the thing. Like what are you super sensitive to Tannin's yep?
Myself and Greg. Actually I'm a little sensitive. I get
sleepy with with red wine.

Speaker 2 (01:21:23):
But I get sleepy with champagne. Champagne.

Speaker 11 (01:21:29):
That's just it's just because it's I say, nothing is
worse than pukin of wine.

Speaker 4 (01:21:33):
Yeah, well because the acidity. Yeah, all right, well, Shay,
are you ready for the first question here? D y
Q question number one? Yeah, let's do it. You gotta
get two out of three.

Speaker 20 (01:21:43):
Right here we go, Eda Mamy is a preparation of
what food?

Speaker 2 (01:21:48):
All right?

Speaker 9 (01:21:49):
H I don't even that because there could be some
funny wrong answers. I don't want to give too much away.

Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
There might need to be some kind of clarification. Yes,
if if they give me a specific wrong answer, I
will ask for clarification. Okay, I'll say no for Vicky,
Yes for Menace. He's eating his weight. I think, man, well,
not so much vegetables, but I mean going like going
to these places. Yeah, I'll say I'll say no for Menace. WHOA,

(01:22:19):
Yes for Sammy.

Speaker 6 (01:22:21):
I won't say why, but I'm gonna say yes to
Sammy and Menace and noa VICKI.

Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
All right, Greg noa VICKI yes to Sammy. Totally confident
in that Menace. I think I'm gonna say no no.
All right, Shaye, what do you think.

Speaker 4 (01:22:38):
I gotta say no, no, all right, won't get it, Vicky.
Question number one. That's gonna be your locked in guest
for that for Vicky, but for Menace and Sammy, here
we go.

Speaker 20 (01:22:50):
Eda Mammy is a preparation of what food Menace I
just had last night?

Speaker 4 (01:22:55):
But is it green beans? Sammy?

Speaker 20 (01:22:58):
Bean?

Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
What kind?

Speaker 4 (01:23:01):
Very It's very specific, it is it is.

Speaker 9 (01:23:03):
That's why I said you might need clarification like a.
I mean, I was thinking that they might say, they
might say Japanese food.

Speaker 4 (01:23:16):
Oh that I do buy it all the time. And
now that you say it in the moment, not green
being I mean they're green, they're green, and there are bean,
so you know what I think you're right? Oh yeah,
it's it's a bean that's green. Yeah, put some salt up.

Speaker 10 (01:23:36):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:23:36):
So you said that Vicky won't get it. Let's see
if you're on the board with your first point here
on the d U I.

Speaker 20 (01:23:41):
Q and a mommy is a preparation of what food?

Speaker 23 (01:23:44):
Okay, so I will have to say like anything that
tastes reals.

Speaker 4 (01:23:50):
Why did she think this could have been? All right? Well,
what would be a burger? You're on the you're on
the board. Maybe she was thinking mommy mommies. Oh yeah,
like you mommy burgers. Well, but like that they have
a certain you know, richness to them. I'd say, you
got one point, you know, only need one more point

(01:24:10):
now to win this round of the d uy Q.

Speaker 9 (01:24:12):
Question number two in what country was Jackie chan Born?
I was reading a book about I can't recommend enough to.

Speaker 4 (01:24:20):
I don't even want to try to answer it. I'll
sound racist. Shit, I don't know. I like, I don't,
I don't know. I can narrow it down. I can
narrow it down about the eighties action stars that I've read.

Speaker 9 (01:24:33):
It's just fantastic, goes into his his his upbringing, Van
dam Schwarzenegger.

Speaker 4 (01:24:38):
You know the answer. No, I think I have a
pretty logical do.

Speaker 10 (01:24:40):
You know that?

Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
I'm almost positive?

Speaker 4 (01:24:42):
Almost, But see that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 9 (01:24:45):
And if you get it wrong and you're yeah, that's
jerk and you don't deserve to have a salary.

Speaker 4 (01:24:51):
Uh, I will say no for Vicky Triple now, yeah
triple Now.

Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
I'm saying yes only to menace.

Speaker 4 (01:25:00):
I mean guesses in the ballpark, but overall no, Right,
so double little bit your time. If you missed on
the continent out. All right, Shane, what do you think
yes or no? On Vicky, she's gonna get it. I
think though, no, all right.

Speaker 20 (01:25:16):
Question number two d u i Q, In what country
was Jackie Chan born?

Speaker 4 (01:25:22):
Sammy China? Menace?

Speaker 11 (01:25:25):
I mean he spent most of his life and he
got famous in China, but I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:25:31):
I still put China, China. You put what I put China?
You put China. Is that your final answer? Yeah? Okay,
well you guys are both correct. Correct, Okay. I knew
it was either going to be both right or both.
I do love the same though. Yeah, all right, let's
see Vicky. Question number two.

Speaker 20 (01:25:51):
In what country was Jackie Chan born?

Speaker 1 (01:25:54):
Somewhere?

Speaker 4 (01:25:54):
Lie South America? Either China, Japan? You are like that
South America. I will shake congratulations. You are the winner
here on the d U i.

Speaker 9 (01:26:08):
Q, And I know people are gonna they're gonna text in, well, actually,
Hong Kong. It's a special administrative province of China. Therefore
either would which you would appreciate that kind of nitpicking. Well,
so he's actually British then not at the time, because
well maybe it wasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:26:25):
Yes, we've uh, we've talked to you now, like three
different times for different things. We've gotten four total words
out of that entire thing, but you did. You were
the winner here in the U i Q to That's
all right, all right, man, thank you. Hang on one second,
we'll get all your information. I've got one more question.
Question number three, d U i Q.

Speaker 20 (01:26:47):
What are the lyrics to the song for the McDonald's
Big Mac?

Speaker 4 (01:26:51):
Oh? What the what lyrics to the song for the
McDonald's Big Mac. I know the whole thing, And.

Speaker 9 (01:26:58):
These two are both of the age with they would
have witnessed these commercials.

Speaker 4 (01:27:02):
Yeah, I talk fastest to a kid who's fifteen to day,
they'd have no idea. I'm writing it down, but a
thirty plus year old should be well. Especially know for
both Sammy and Menace. No for triple now triple sweep it, hardcore,
triple sweep it. All right, we'll start with Menace is
ready to go, but Sammy is still writing.

Speaker 6 (01:27:24):
Oh, we didn't have big Match in my household.

Speaker 4 (01:27:26):
When I don't eat that.

Speaker 2 (01:27:31):
You guys were fat.

Speaker 9 (01:27:35):
We would buy one Big Mac and it was a
special occasion just because I'm fair ready, I guess all right?

Speaker 4 (01:27:42):
Question number three.

Speaker 20 (01:27:45):
Start d U I Q, what are the lyrics to
the song for the McDonald's Big Mac.

Speaker 8 (01:27:50):
All I know is something like lettuce, pickles, special sauce,
all in a sesame seed bun.

Speaker 4 (01:27:54):
Okay, that's very very it's very very close.

Speaker 11 (01:27:57):
Menace legally correct, double patty, same.

Speaker 4 (01:28:02):
Sesame street bun. A double patty and a sesame street bun.
I don't know stuffing in front.

Speaker 11 (01:28:08):
I don't even know the lyrics to any songs.

Speaker 4 (01:28:10):
Now? Is this the one they did where they put
the little records in the Sunday paper. It's like, that's
your thing, that's different. This is the one that was
on the commercial all the time. Yeah, this is the jing.
What I'm thinking is like Big macmcdeal to fish a hamburger,
golden fries regular or larger size chicken. They had one
called the chicken salad Oriental.

Speaker 2 (01:28:29):
You can't say that anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:28:31):
Records if it's not about a person in the hotel.
The oriental an oriental. But they wouldn't have something on
the menu called the chicken salad oriental? Should they should?
But they won't. Oriental only means eastward. I am not
arguing that point. I am not the political correct person
to argue that. But you know that a company like
McDonald's ain't gonna have something on there, the oriental anything.

Speaker 2 (01:28:52):
Do you guys know the big mach I couldn't.

Speaker 4 (01:28:56):
But if you got it started, can I start?

Speaker 2 (01:28:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:28:59):
Two all beef patty special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions
on a sesame seed.

Speaker 24 (01:29:02):
Bunny Special Sauce, lettuce cheese special sauce.

Speaker 14 (01:29:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:29:22):
So the one I was talking about was like a
contest you'd win money, and it was a I mean
it's like a super paper thin uh record that they
put into the Sunday paper and everybody went and got
one and they played it and if the song played
entirely through without them screwing up the menu song, you
won a million dollars whatever it was, record paper what, Yeah,

(01:29:43):
they put it in the newspaper. It was like it
was like a really thin piece of vinyl. It was
so like a flimsy piece of violet.

Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
Yeah, it would weight if the needle wouldn't even let
it play sometimes Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 17 (01:29:54):
Record good.

Speaker 21 (01:29:56):
Today, we're going to learn the McDonald's and give a
listener out there to win a million dollars.

Speaker 4 (01:30:01):
It was. It was a million dollars and it goes
into the big Macwi deal, big.

Speaker 21 (01:30:05):
Mcdealt quarter pounder with che fish, Hamricker, staty golden pressures regular,
a large size of the salad ship for garden or
chicken salad Oriental, big big breakfast thing and puffing hot
hot kakes and sausage make a discus baking meg and cheese, sausage,
Dannish stewing, port Deserve, hot apple pies and Sunday Street
varieties of sausag confe conserstation chocolate chip cookies.

Speaker 10 (01:30:22):
Had to drink the Coca.

Speaker 21 (01:30:22):
Cola diet Coca Orange drink a streaking coffee be kept
too well, love that milk, auster one orange uice. I
love McDonald's good time bigties, and I get the solid
one for the group.

Speaker 4 (01:30:29):
Had to get through the whole thing. And if he did,
if he did, yeah and yeah, and if you made it,
if they made it through the whole thing, that's how
you won the million bucks. Bars, bars, bitting bars. Yeah,
he's better than he's better than Kendred, Oh, I mean,
maybe better than Drake anything. Well, thank you, uh sea bass.
Another thrilling round of the duy Q. We're gonna take

(01:30:51):
a quick break. We got more what he showed.

Speaker 10 (01:30:53):
Next, hang on.

Speaker 19 (01:30:55):
The Messages.

Speaker 4 (01:30:58):
Show and got a couple of stories involving weird chrome.
Weird police in Scotland they got to call by a
guy who was assaulting somebody. When they got there, it
just wasn't a normal assault. Apparently one man got into
this other guy, so to show him that he meant business,
he grabbed two seagulls like dual wield style and started

(01:31:20):
beating the other guy with the seagulls the car. That's
pretty bad ass. The good news is that the seagulls
they are okay. They got checked out, and so is
the guy that got beat with them. But they're probably traumatized,
but they're gonna be fine. They're gonna need to be
in therapy now. Well, apparently they weren't broken.

Speaker 2 (01:31:36):
I don't buy it.

Speaker 4 (01:31:38):
All right, skeptical Greg, Yeah yeah, I mean, I'm just
gonna I understand the skepticism. But they did check them
out according to the article, don't worry. Yeah, yeah, they
they were checked out. I don't I don't know anything,
Like what kind of weird doctor did they go to?
You know that that's I would like to see that
x ray, I would like to.

Speaker 2 (01:32:00):
I would like to see the video of some guys
very much wielding two seagulls.

Speaker 4 (01:32:08):
Weapons are jerks, and yeah, we're way too precious about it.

Speaker 9 (01:32:13):
Every time, like every summer, there's somebody in the Jersey
at the Jersey Shore or wherever that kills one and
then the sky falls down on him because God forbid.

Speaker 4 (01:32:24):
Stealing your friend. Literally, another weird crime story. And Antique
Mal greg.

Speaker 2 (01:32:32):
One of your favorites. I do love a good antique mall.

Speaker 4 (01:32:34):
Antique Mal in Kansas has been having to deal with
a plant problem. Somebody keeps stealing them. It started when
their cameras picked up this woman who was stealing like
the entire planter, so they started zip tying them down,
but then the woman came back cut the zip ties professional,
so then they chained the planters down instead. Got the

(01:32:57):
woman came back and she just left behind the plant
or dug the plants.

Speaker 2 (01:33:02):
Out and left.

Speaker 4 (01:33:06):
How many plants does she need? The owner of the
mall is pissed because you know he's paying for these
plants out of pocket, he's caring for them on his own.
But you know, this woman just keeps coming back here.
He is on the news.

Speaker 5 (01:33:16):
I really want to know why Flowers. I mean, there's
things in the world that people need, and I don't
think flowers is one of them. But you know, for her,
I guess it's something she just really wanted, that she
was desperate enough to come steal them and risk getting
in trouble.

Speaker 4 (01:33:31):
For desperate enough. Yeah, she needs, you know, just like bread,
desperate enough. I don't know if i'd say, you know,
getting plants. You know, you're so desperate for plants. You
can't find this lady.

Speaker 10 (01:33:44):
Yea.

Speaker 4 (01:33:45):
Hopefully nobody steals your rogue banana plant. Well, yeah, that's
the thing.

Speaker 9 (01:33:48):
I know, as soon as I guess it's on the
way right now, my dwarf Cavendish banana tree.

Speaker 4 (01:33:53):
Jeff, she says he wants to help you planting. He says,
got a post which I do need. I do need
a post hole digger. The thing is gonna see pictures
of it, But I can't do that because you know
some scofflaw. Yea, so it's gonna have to be undercover.

Speaker 11 (01:34:06):
What's the street value on one of these banana trees
that expensive?

Speaker 4 (01:34:10):
When I looked it up yesterday? Yeah, Well I'm getting
a pretty grown and a mature one, a male order
they call it what like.

Speaker 9 (01:34:21):
So it's like one hundred something bucks low hundreds grown
and sexy, as they say.

Speaker 4 (01:34:25):
You're investing in your neighborhood. It's almost twice the price
you can get like bana one that's not mature. Yeah,
you get like, you get that tiny, then you're gonna
wait like two three years for Yeah, who is that
kind of time?

Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
Nobody?

Speaker 4 (01:34:36):
And you know how he feels about time. Change is
a waste of time. Waste loose. Change is a waste
of time.

Speaker 2 (01:34:41):
I couldn't be wrong. I want an avocado tree, but
apparently they take ten years to back.

Speaker 9 (01:34:45):
Yeah, you really have to or three to five, even
if you get the grown and sexy versions.

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
Nobody got time for that. A second, what did you
think about the ride?

Speaker 20 (01:34:57):
I've never been television floor.

Speaker 4 (01:35:02):
Sometimes I don't watch the I don't.

Speaker 14 (01:35:04):
Watch the news.

Speaker 2 (01:35:05):
That gets me every time. So a pair of nuns
in Brazil all didn't get along. They were forced to
work together. They ended up getting pretty close. They both
quit the convent, went lesbo for each other and got there.

Speaker 4 (01:35:23):
About clams back into the convent, fuzz bumping for Jesus
I got it all right, what is it? Bad? Habits hell?

Speaker 9 (01:35:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:35:42):
Uh, Sea Bass has an update for us. You know,
he was gonna run for city council. I was gonna
clean the streets platform. Yeah, but I was, Oh, I
like the I.

Speaker 9 (01:35:51):
Like the sport code. It was because we're on court
today and being doesn't.

Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
Come into any larger size. My god, that is massive, Jack.
It's a box.

Speaker 4 (01:36:01):
He wants to grow incause it was like Fat Samy
plumbing up.

Speaker 2 (01:36:04):
Well.

Speaker 9 (01:36:06):
So I was gonna run for city council and to
do that you need five hundred signatures. So I employed
a signature gathering company, a company that claimed and apparently
had a track record to being able to do this.
They email me back said eight no problem, it will
take us a week, blah blah blah. You did pay
us and we'll do it. So I paid them and
then things kind of dragged along. It was a full
eleven days after I paid them before they even showed

(01:36:26):
up to collect the signature papers from me. But they
still had like eight ten days at that point, and
I said, okay, no problem. One thing led to another.
It's the day of the deadline and they say, oh,
we don't have your signatures what and they said, you
want to meet.

Speaker 4 (01:36:39):
Us the city hall. I was like, nope, no reason,
it's because.

Speaker 9 (01:36:42):
It's it's not like I can get four hundred and
eighty five signatures and pay a little No, it's five
hundred or nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:36:47):
So I said, well that sucks.

Speaker 9 (01:36:49):
I'm going to sue you because you didn't live up
to not only the contract, but your promises before the contract.

Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
Not cheap, not cheap.

Speaker 9 (01:36:57):
It was over over I'll go ahead say right now.
It was almost sixteen thousand dollars. Yeah, so that's thirty
something dollars per signature. Like I said, you should have
just paid Morgan and I we would have done well.

Speaker 4 (01:37:12):
If some people just pay homeless people, then yeah, much
easier that expensive.

Speaker 9 (01:37:16):
And that by the way, that's that's that's not out
of the that's middle of the road.

Speaker 4 (01:37:21):
You wanted to be on the city council? That what
does that job pay?

Speaker 9 (01:37:25):
This one would have paid two eleven thousand dollars okay
most benefits, Yeah, total, the total compensations over like two sixty's.

Speaker 4 (01:37:35):
It's yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:37:35):
This is the city council, which would have been another
one of my platforms had been elected.

Speaker 4 (01:37:39):
We don't need to be paid this much.

Speaker 9 (01:37:41):
Oh yeah, I'm sure they would have loved that, but
that still falls under small claims in the state in
which the claim was filed, right in which in which
they the business business operates. So I said, I'm gonna
sue you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you screwed me. You didn't
live up to the contract. Uh and uh and I
went and that just happened.

Speaker 4 (01:37:58):
This week.

Speaker 9 (01:37:59):
I had our day in zoom court. Oh it's so
much more convenient, it is, And so it's funny. I
go in there, they say, are you here the guy did?
The guy did show up boom. Well, yeah, it could
have been easy to get it. Well, actually, I'm kind
of glad he did because otherwise I'm just like, even
if I had won, which will.

Speaker 2 (01:38:15):
Be years long hunt for this right, who knows?

Speaker 9 (01:38:18):
Because I found out in the research to file my
claim by my good friend, uh lawyer Grock, this company
in another state had been higher they'd been hired to
get the signatures. They gathered the correct number of signatures,
less than two percent were valid. Oh, so that was
I was thinking, like, oh, this person's just gone, like
he set these things up and he's dead. But he

(01:38:39):
showed up and they gave us something. They said, here,
we're gonna put you in a breakout room and you
can discuss a settlement. And he said, I'll give you
fifteen hundred.

Speaker 6 (01:38:46):
So you're doing your own mediation, right, Okay, say both
of you at the same time. They try to see
if you can do that and not waste the judges time.

Speaker 9 (01:38:53):
Wait, so just to you and just us, no no
arbiter or nothing. He said, well, I'm willing to offer
you fifteen hundred.

Speaker 4 (01:38:59):
I said zero.

Speaker 22 (01:39:00):
Bit.

Speaker 4 (01:39:00):
By the way, during.

Speaker 9 (01:39:01):
The the first day, after he screwed me on not
getting the signatures, he offered me three thousand.

Speaker 4 (01:39:07):
Now wait, so you're already out the sixteen right.

Speaker 9 (01:39:11):
He had offered me preliminarily three thousand, and then he
was inted that offer and that's that's that I decided
tossue him.

Speaker 4 (01:39:16):
That's a question. What what does the paperwork say? Because
they promise for this money the service, they're gonna get
you X number of signatures. But when there's got to
be something there says if for whatever reason, we cannot
well refund you a pro rated amount essentially is what
it said. Uh huh, what what what would be the
incentive for them to get a pro rated amount. So

(01:39:37):
basically you can say, ah, we fell short because it's
just collect a certain amount of money and give the
rest for doing nothing. Exactly. To me, that's it's worthless
because it's all or nothing.

Speaker 9 (01:39:45):
So that's not what That's not what my lawsuit hinged on,
because you raise a good point, Woody. My lawsuit hinged
on the verbiage in the contract that said we'll provide
you weekly updates and meetings.

Speaker 4 (01:39:54):
Those did not.

Speaker 9 (01:39:55):
Happen, so that that's a breach of contract. Now, so
I go in there, I say no, thank you to
the fifteen hundred offer. But go back in front of
the judge. The judge says, to have you do you
submit all your evidence to me see bass. The guy
says yes, he said, you samil your evidence to him.
I said, well, I filed it on the online filing
thing for He said, no, you have to email it

(01:40:15):
to him. Oh come on, well, he said, and because
of that, you cannot reference any of your evidence. What
so I So I said to the judge, Well, okay, judge,
how am I supposed to reference? So I can just
reference our conversations. I can't because he said, you can't.
You can't point to the contract, you can't point to
your emails.

Speaker 2 (01:40:32):
You can't point to because you hadn't emailed it to him.

Speaker 4 (01:40:35):
Right, which I guess I missed that step somehow.

Speaker 10 (01:40:37):
Is that the discovery phase or whatever?

Speaker 4 (01:40:39):
This is a coming of GROC, because I'm sure, like
a like a real lawyer would have said, hey, be
sure that you have this, this, this, Let go to
close that system. Correct.

Speaker 9 (01:40:51):
I only use GROC to write the complaint. I didn't
use it for the follow up stuff, which I should have.
So the judge said, I said, well, so what can
I say? And he said The judge said, well, I
can't offer you legal advice, but I'll let you know
if you say something you shouldn't.

Speaker 4 (01:41:02):
Which actually worked out just fun.

Speaker 2 (01:41:04):
Yes.

Speaker 9 (01:41:04):
So I just told the story as if I were
telling it to you guys, without pointing to any specific
dates or times.

Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (01:41:10):
And and the judge said okay. And then the guy
responded with, h okay, Well this is what we did.
And I'll give the judge credit because he nailed this
guy because the judge said okay, because basically what what
also saved me is his his evidence was basically my
evidence it was the contract.

Speaker 4 (01:41:25):
It was our emails.

Speaker 9 (01:41:26):
He basically at the same stud I did. But I
didn't realize that because at first.

Speaker 4 (01:41:30):
Like oh, crap, crap.

Speaker 9 (01:41:32):
So he's uh, and the judge said, okay, well did
you fulfill the terms of this contract? Show me the
people you hired? And he showed me that he had
this evidence showing like the number of hours people worked,
and he's like, man, you didn't you hired these people
kind of late. And the judge was kind of like
like Judge, Judy, like matter of fact, like, if you're
gonna get these things done for him and this this
short you got less than a month to do it,

(01:41:52):
and you.

Speaker 4 (01:41:53):
Hired this amount of people.

Speaker 9 (01:41:54):
And he's and then you they certain and some of
them dropped off, and he's like, so, what how did
you expect this to happen?

Speaker 4 (01:41:58):
The guy was like uh.

Speaker 9 (01:42:00):
And the guy looked like just some fat faced weeb,
but he was in a suit and tie, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:42:04):
Oh nice.

Speaker 9 (01:42:05):
He again he's he wants to be political operative and
so and the judge he's going through this. And the
judge actually helped me because he brought up the lead
guy who I met in person.

Speaker 4 (01:42:13):
Very nice dude. Fan of Cartonnark's.

Speaker 9 (01:42:15):
Unfortunately, so the lead guy who wast his like local representative,
he was a nice guy. He claimed to have worked
one hundred and sixty hours and I and the judge
brought that up. He's like, this guy worked on hundred
and then I went back because the judge doesn't know
everything I know, and because he left the guy that,
he goes back to me. He's like, do you have
anything to end with? And I said, well, thank you,
judge for bring up one hundred and sixty hour thing,

(01:42:36):
because again, he didn't come to me until eight days
before the deadline, so he worked one hundred and sixty
hours in eight days.

Speaker 4 (01:42:45):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 6 (01:42:46):
That math doesn't happen.

Speaker 9 (01:42:47):
Even even if you give him like maybe he worked
ten hours administratively beforehand to get things ready whatever, that
still doesn't make sense.

Speaker 2 (01:42:54):
On his plate twenty hours a day.

Speaker 9 (01:42:56):
Rightly dedicated to you and so and one point one
last thing the judge. The judge at one point he
asked like, so, did you give mister Davis his uh,
his regular check ins? And I shook my head no
because I know I was supposed to talk. And the
judge goes mister Davis, I do not need any shaking
yes or no whatsoever.

Speaker 4 (01:43:12):
I was like, yes, sir, thank you. So I got
the in my hands. The decision.

Speaker 9 (01:43:19):
And the first line of the decisions says, the plaintiff
has not demonstrated in entitlement to relief and recovery and
recover zero.

Speaker 4 (01:43:25):
What that box was not checked? Hesig can box. The
plaintiff is entitled to judgment and for a total of.

Speaker 14 (01:43:37):
He could have said anything from zero to whatever.

Speaker 19 (01:43:51):
Everybody and they stayed, where's the way this list issue,
which I had langage exact here does not take effect
until the end of the month. Because the defendant has
the option to take this district court.

Speaker 4 (01:44:11):
He would have to hire a lawyer. Blah blah, blah
blah blah. So I don't know, we'll see. Well, that's
the thing.

Speaker 9 (01:44:16):
I gotta wait till the end of the month, right
then what then I'll email the guy and then if
I hear nothing, then I gotta.

Speaker 4 (01:44:22):
Go better have my money.

Speaker 9 (01:44:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, then I have to go through only
proper legal channels. Of course, breaking well that Greg, that
would be an illegal, unproper channel.

Speaker 6 (01:44:32):
I love that you won everything without being able to
show a piece of evidence.

Speaker 4 (01:44:37):
Yeah, well the thing is in our buddle.

Speaker 9 (01:44:40):
Because as he's saying, oh, I got his evidence, I
can refer to his evidence. I said, well, actually, he
the blah blah blah, and this is his This isn't
his disturb it.

Speaker 4 (01:44:47):
I saw you.

Speaker 9 (01:44:48):
So yeah, the judge helps. Almost I almost crewed myself.
But I think the judge was a smart enough man
to see through this man's incompetence and lies. So hopefully
I have sixteen thousand dollars coming to me at some
point we'll seem as congratulations.

Speaker 2 (01:45:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:45:02):
All I can say is suing works everybody. We should
everybody should be suing people because it works.

Speaker 4 (01:45:09):
Guys, every time. Any time you know you were you
you were truly wronged.

Speaker 9 (01:45:14):
Right the guy, the guy heshandled so clearly a scam, well,
I think he's I think he just doesn't know what
the hell he's doing.

Speaker 4 (01:45:21):
He couldn't fulfilled right and and he but if he
was on the up and up, he would have just
returned the money. Well, you know what, this thing was
so sloppy and so messed up.

Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
This is not how we operate here.

Speaker 4 (01:45:32):
Let me give you the money back, and then that
would have gone even if you like, okay, like three
grand I'm saying like, you're bummed out you didn't get
what you thought you were going to get. But you
could be like, yeah, listen, man, it didn't work out
with this guy, but he was cool.

Speaker 10 (01:45:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:45:43):
People have bad days. He made it right, sure, but
now it's like, no, dude, you would never go with
this guy. Here's why. And then he will also take
it all the way to court to try to fight
giving back what he should have given you in the
first place. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:45:54):
Yeah, And now I'm not I'm still not going to
out him, not until I get my judgment and settlement.
I don't want to make my life any harder. I
got the judgment. Until the judgment is final at the
end of the night.

Speaker 4 (01:46:02):
Yeah, gotcha, get that check? Gotcha? Well, congratulations again, start
suing Stewing. It'd be nice to stay suing everybody. See
it's funny, I say, councilman, Sea Bass, but for another day. Well,
SeaBASS is very successful so far in his litigation. Did

(01:46:28):
you see there was that the other story? I know
there's been talk about it, but it finally I guess
got filed or whatever. The United Airlines passenger who's suing
because they paid extra for a window seat, but the
seat was near a window, so it was just.

Speaker 11 (01:46:44):
Like the wall of the Yeah, that just happened in
my recent flight. And the lady that was sitting in
that seat, she asked me like ten times if she
could see out the window.

Speaker 4 (01:46:57):
Go for it, lady, I go for it. I don't care.

Speaker 10 (01:47:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:47:01):
Well, so United had requested to have the lawsuit dismissed,
but this judge said, nah, so United Airlines saying that
the customer body windowless window seat. Now have you ever
heard of a windowless window seat?

Speaker 2 (01:47:12):
Nope?

Speaker 4 (01:47:13):
Yeah, I mean I think it's more about the location.

Speaker 6 (01:47:16):
Yeah, understand, because they're calling it.

Speaker 4 (01:47:19):
The windows aren't set. They'll like coordinate with every aisle.
They have a certain number of windows and depending on
how far because you have those extra leg room seats
you have. Yeah, yeah, so sometimes they're offset. It's like
shingles on a house, you know, they're kind of staggered
or whatever.

Speaker 6 (01:47:35):
I think it's more about trying to fit more rosen
and squeeze more people.

Speaker 4 (01:47:38):
Like for me, when I picked that seats, not so
I can look out the windows because I like to
lean up against the wall so I can doze off.
I sleep the best, but I have one of those seats.

Speaker 11 (01:47:46):
My situation it was like kind of like an exit row,
and then so shoots in front of me.

Speaker 4 (01:47:51):
The judge said. The passengers claims are plausible, as the
airline's booking page and boarding pass identify the seats as
window seats. So what they're gonna do is theyll probably
just change that. Yeah, just call it wall seat. Yeah,
wall seats seat? What's more appealing the wall? Those wall sounds.
I don't want a wall seat, a wall seat inside

(01:48:15):
a concerts obstructed view, cozy lean seat. Yeah. Well, there
was an udio on social media, you know, airline employee
was offered up a lot of money for one person
to give up their seat because it was a very
overbooked flight. I've seen some of them. Man, they're offering
thousands of dollars. I think if you, especially if it's

(01:48:36):
a business trip, I would just say I got I
would just say I got bumped.

Speaker 6 (01:48:40):
How do you say no to that?

Speaker 4 (01:48:41):
And how is the how's your company going to find out?
Yeah it's got bumped or you know something you know
with the flight? Yeah, one person did come up right
away and took the deal. I mean it was a
it was a bunch of money. Here's a here's a
little clip.

Speaker 17 (01:48:54):
One thousand, two hundred, one.

Speaker 4 (01:49:00):
Hundred and fifty. Oh yeah, nice, that's that's I've heard
that before. Yeah, so you're still going to go where
you're going. They'll put you on the next flight and
you get the twelve hundred buck credit, which is like
two first class tickets a lot of places, your credit for.

Speaker 16 (01:49:15):
The pre create meeting, the cards.

Speaker 4 (01:49:19):
Damn girl, visa card. Please thousand bucks.

Speaker 2 (01:49:25):
So you leave a few hours later, So two.

Speaker 4 (01:49:27):
Thousand, two hundred some bucks, leave a week later. You
just made like a patient. Yeah. Now there's sometimes where
it's like there's just no flexibility. You're going you have
a place to be, and you're on a schedule and
you only have so much time. But if you can
do it, you can swing it. Why not take it? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:50:56):
No, it's if you look at the original video, it's
very well produced. It's like it's very spooky.

Speaker 4 (01:51:01):
I gotta see that. Yeah, but I'm imagining there's a
ton of stuff that's out there that's really well produced
and pretty cool in concept or story or but I'm
saying it's just there's just so much. There's just so
much out there. How do you It's like needle in
a haystime, Like, how do you get fine? How's it
get seen by the right people and blow up like that?

Speaker 6 (01:51:16):
Would you say that this apples to apples hasn't really
happened since blair Witch? You know some random Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:51:24):
It's probably about right. Yeah, that's good comparison. Yeah, because
the blair Witch thing. When that movie came out, I
still I liked the concept of it. I saw it
in the theater. Yeah, it was one of those where
it was like super huge and then it became really
cool for people to say it sucks and they hate it. Yeah, well,
like everything, like everything else, Yeah, like everything. That's that's interesting.
