Woody Show. We got let's see the birthday's point of birthdays.
Trending news headlines coming up for you today is world
Snorkeling Day. I did see a shark one time. I
was in Hawaii and I was snorkling, and it was
pretty far down there. Still the area that where it
was like a nurse shark and it was just kind
of going along the bottom baby, And still I was
(01:45):
out scared. I went right back to the boat. Did
not like that.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
I hope you didn't start splashing around because that's what
they're looking for.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Scared.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Did you say, nurse, it's a thing, the nurse shark.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
I thought it was a NERF shark. NERF Yeah, like
a NERF yeah really yeah, nurse your whole life NERF.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Like like nurses, doctors, hospital.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Nurse, nurse really shark, yeah, some kind of version of NERF.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Now the bull shark is no good that like nurse
shark that they really won't mess with you.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
So I'm looking at a nurse a nurse shark bite
and they will do that, but they have these little
like those little tiny teeth. Who cares. It'll still like
rip your skin up, but you're not going to lose
an arm.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
But the bull shark is the one you think of
when you think of a shark.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
No, great white is what I think of when I
think of.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
A bull shark and hammerhead sharks. How do you take
them seriously?
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Wonky dare to make fun to make fun of their face?
I feel like with hammerheads, you could you just grab
their eyes and can't bite me.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Can't bite me.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Always like having someone in a full nelson. Yeah, open
their mouths. Yeah, it's scary, but yeah, I like it.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I like those videos that you see, and it's these
shark experts. They're telling you what to do when you're
face to face with the shark.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
It's likeady, you put your hand out and as they're
coming towards you, and then as they make contact with
your hand, you lead them away.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
There was also one where they say you're supposed to
flip them over because it like paralyzed, you can just
get really up in there and flip them over.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
This this was just they swim up to you and
they're because they're they're coming up out of curiosity, right,
They're not like bolting towards You're not sprinting towards you
like a shark sprint right.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Some in fast.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
It's real slow, like a real slow approach and as
the as the shark reaches it just kind of like
almost like Jedi mind hand thing. Yeah, they're supposed to
lead them away. One of the first comments was like, well,
how are they even going to see if I'm there
if there's just a big cloud of coca, like a
smoke screen of coca, because you've crapped your pants because
all of a sudden, this giant shark is just swimming
(03:53):
towards you.
Speaker 6 (03:54):
So I did look into it, because the first time
I heard about a nurse shark was from Big Boy
from Alcast. He did MTV Cribs, and he might have
pronounced it wrong because he had one.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Well, of course every rapper on MTV Cribs had an
aquarium that had a shark in it. And every single
one of those rappers also had a Scarface poster somewhere
in their house.
Speaker 7 (04:19):
And they also say it was instead of Earth.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Me Ast, you something, that Scarface was the dumbest movie, dumb.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
And the shark's name was Billy Ocean. By the way.
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
So this guy in Georgia, he's recovering he fought off
a shark that attacked him while he was swimming with
his pregnant fiance.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
This is in Daytona Beach.
Speaker 8 (04:39):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
He says that he pushed his fiance to safety before
battling the shark and making it back to shore. He
was taking the hospital for treatment and uh, yeah, I
mean so they say the unprovoked shark attacks are extremely rare,
despite what you might see or hear or think.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah, you don't want to go out and provoke. Yeah,
you want to start, you don't want to start teasing it.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Well, what would constitute provoking? That could even just be
like excessive splashing around and stuff, right, well, because that
would provoke, That would make them believe.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I don't try to flex in the ocean. It's like
someone's blaming the victim.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Any kind of like shiny like rings.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Or anything that makes you look like fat seal.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
A provoked shark attack includes, uh, basically, when you approach
a shark and try to mess with it, that's the
only time, not just like doing human stuff, popping it
around because.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
This guy got a bit on the leg. But dude,
I mean, do how much hero action does he deserve for.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
The rest of his life?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, pushing her out of the way to safety and
then battling the shark in her honor.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Greg will say she's already pregnant, so she's already ruined.
Speaker 7 (05:48):
Monster.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, it's ruined with your baby, right, that's true. Does
that make a difference?
Speaker 5 (05:53):
But is that why most people just get like a
bite on the leg or a bite on the side
because they try us and we taste gross and they
move on.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Right.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, well we're not what they want because we don't
have the although i'd be very fatty and probably very
delighted marbling marble. Yeah, rich, I taste just like a seal.
I never liked humans before, but this woody guy, this one,
I tell you what I'm like, the wagoon of humans
to the sharks. Yeah, i'd tell its International Day of Friendship.
(06:22):
It is National Father in Law Day. Uh, it's National
intern Day. Those are always good ideas if you can
even find an internship now although now yeah now they're paid.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah weird.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
And then uh and then today is National Cheesecake Day
and it's National Chili Dog Day.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Let's go to chili dog both at the same time. Yeah,
what chili dog and cheese.
Speaker 5 (06:50):
That's all the hot dog and the cheese.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Well, it's kind of like we were talking about that
that Oscar Meyer Wiener cake cake. But itiers Yeah, it was.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Rated pretty much the same thing we're talking about. Almost.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, it doesn't sound good. What was the there was?
They made like an ice cream hot dog? So it
wasn't a hot dog that was there's no pork, but
how like the choco taco looked.
Speaker 7 (07:14):
Like a chaco.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, it still exists. Cool dog, Cool Dog.
No sorry, rise and fall of cool Dog, Cool Dog.
Oh no, it was a Boston area. Was think of
a jig. Yeah, but it had a little look eminem was.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
On top of Yeah, looked kind of Yeah. We tried
this once at the Iowa State Fair. Do you remember
the ice cream spaghetti? Yes, yeah, so it was they
put the vanilla ice cream through an extractor, so they
pushed it through it.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
It looked like, uh, the noodles.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah, and then they have like a strawberry sauce that
went on top, and then every flakes and then flakes
of coconut. Greg, you were there, Yeah, I was eating
like cheese curd. Do you remember our station there we
would go for the Iowa State Fair. Absolutely, yeah, it
was that trip.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
But I don't know if I was with you when
you got them. You were all walking the fair grounds together.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
I was something else and we ate it again in
studio and yeah, when Tony spit in your mouth with the.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Food, okay, I remember that. That was marshmallows or no,
that was a bagel. See you only remember things on
Tony like baby bird and something into Well, then make
it more sexy and I'll remember, all right.
Speaker 2 (08:19):

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Phones open eight seven seven forty four Wooding send us
a text over to two.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
To nine eight seven. A lot of people have.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Been talking about this professor from Alcorn State University. His
name is doctor Jason Gibson, and he posted a video
on social media explaining how he busted and failed thirty
two of his students. Oh yeah, because they used AI
to cheat on an exam. And I guess what he is?
He hit a prompt into the question, and so this
(12:25):
is Professor Gibson explaining exactly what he is.
Speaker 11 (12:28):
So this discussion post was a portion of my student's
midterm And if you look, looks normal, right. But if
you copy and paste this in white ink, I hid
placed the word Madagascar somewhere in the response in a
way that makes no sense.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
All right, So Greg, let me explain this to you.
Please do it all right. So let's say you're on
a website and you see the text of a news story,
a news article, and you're reading it okay, and it looks,
you know, to be all normal, but in the white
margins of like between the paragraphs, he hid extra text
that you don't see with your eye because the text
is in white font font got it right, So it
(13:09):
just blends in. Now, if you just read the assignment
and then you wrote his paper, you wouldn't have seen
anything about whatever that was Mata and to add that
somewhere that makes no sense into your But when you
just drag and copy because you're highlighting it, it now displays,
it uncovers, almost like a disappearing ink kind trick.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
You'll see that. But that's what the AI still reading
it right, So.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
That you just pop that in the AI, it throws
in there's some random crap about Madagascar that makes no.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Sense, and now he knows that you used AI.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Got it? Wow.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
Yeah, that's an old school trick with LinkedIn. When you
put in your resume, you put in like all this
extra stuff in white font in your resume, so it
triggers because not an actual person is reading your resume, no,
so it triggers the system because they're looking for keywords too,
and you put like a thousand keywords in there.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Remind me about the job by application process. I want
to come back to that, but let's finish up with
the professor AI here inc.
Speaker 11 (14:08):
I hear it place the word Madagascar somewhere in the
response in a way that makes no sense. So if
Madagascar was somewhere in my student's response in a way
that did not make sense, I knew that they copy
it and paste the entire thing and just threw it
in ai yep or busted double dumb.
Speaker 12 (14:31):
Because they did that. But then they didn't proofread their
paper at all. You should have read through it been
like what is this crap?
Speaker 5 (14:37):
Or at the very least just retype it.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, like these no idea what the subject matter is
or what you're even talking about in this paper. Maybe
you figured out Madagascar must be something. Back to job advocate,
I've seen a lot of this, and it's been a
long time since I've sent a resume to get a job.
(15:00):
You know, it just hasn't happened. That's not the way.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
It's not the way it really works in this industry, especially.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
After you've been in it for a while. Like people
will call you and go, hey, we're interested in you know,
talking to you about this opportunity. Right, So it's been
a long long time, so I see how it happens though,
because I've hired people for this show and how you know.
Now it's like you upload a resume into the company
portal for the job applicants and it all gets forwarded
to some other like thing, this thing I got to
(15:28):
log into to see the applicants and blah blah blah
blah blah. But one thing I've seen a lot online
now is that the interview that they're doing with people
is just an AI bot. So it's a it's a
video of an AI bot and Greg, you're talking to
this quote Nurson. Yeah, and that's your initial interview with
(15:48):
the company.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
I feel so stupid talking to that.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
That's what I was thinking, Like, you can't even have
one person who's talking.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
You've narrowed it down, you've used your AI, you've used
whatever electronics system to narrow down this handful of applicants
that you even want to talk to in the first place.
You can't have just a person spend five minutes talking
to applicants that now it's and so people are figuring
out now how to game that or just to make
it entertaining.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Have you seen some of those videos?
Speaker 13 (16:14):
No?
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah, they're just type an AI interview AI job interview,
like on Instagram and stuff, and you'll see a bunch
of them.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
Pop up if you're interviewing for a job in tech.
It's one of the most frustrating things of life. I
have friends that have applied and worked at Facebook aka Meta.
You go through eight to nine interviews before you even
get hired. Are they even say no? Yeas takes a
long time. So now looking back, we had our own struggles.
(16:43):
Like back in the day, things were more difficult now
as easy as things have become now when it comes
to you know, researching something like legitimately researching something, not
just popping something in the AI.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Remember having to go down the library and I was
explaining this yesterday to the kid.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, and all of your classmates, everybody in your grade
was doing the same assignment on the same subject, the
same time period in history, and you had to write
a paper on it and was gone, Yeah, because everybody
was looking for the same materials, the same you know,
source materials and to get their information.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
All the good stuff was gone. Yes, And the best you.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
Could do was find someone who had written a paper
like two years ago and buy theirs. That was the
best you could do when it came to cheating.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
Or if you knew somebody with encyclopedia.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Right, I'll tell you this microfi card, catalogs and all
those things. That was such a pain in the ass.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Now it's now it's super easy, but now difficult. You
used to be able to send a resume and get
somebody on the phone and talk to them.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
And the cool thing with physical resumes that you would send,
you could get creative and you know, like, yeah, send
other stuff with it.
Speaker 12 (17:44):
Didn't you do that?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
I did that?
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Oh yeah, I told you.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I sent a I sent a tape, demo tape and
my resume in a giant refrigerator box. It was the
only thing in this box. And it showed up at
the program director's office. This big refrigerator box got delivered
and I got to call immediately.
Speaker 5 (18:01):
I'm sure you didn't you like send them on a hand.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
Yeah. I stole a hand off a mannequin and then
I wrote on the fingers I heard you needed a
hand with the show.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, And I got the job. The other one that
I did was this is when the you know, the
food saver that makes your own little vacuum sealed bags
and stuff.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
I want one of those.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
You haven't seen one of.
Speaker 12 (18:21):
Those Morgans never use that like industrials.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
No, you can get it anywhere civilians get it, So
basically you can.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
You can you know, vacuum seal. Like just like you
go you go to Costco and you buy a ton
of chicken, but you know you're a single person. Yeah,
you could put like two chicken breasts in each one
to seal them up and then open it up and
then maybe reseal it, right, food Saver.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
I'm like, man, so I was.
Speaker 13 (18:42):
I was.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
I just thought it was fun just to make the bags,
and then I was applying for this job at the
same time, like, oh, you know, it'd.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Be kind of cute vacuum seal.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
I made a fake bag of blood so that looks that,
you know, looked like one of those, you know, like
the Red Cross would have. And I put a label
on it, I said, looking for fresh blood, looking for
new blood.
Speaker 12 (19:04):
Did they weren't craped out?
Speaker 13 (19:06):
No?
Speaker 1 (19:06):
I use like corn starch and water and some red
food dye. And just put it in there. Yeah, they
thought that was cute, Yeah, and it got attention.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Or you can't do that today because people would even
do stuff like we don't put their resume on a
different color piece of paper because everybody's sitting in white paper,
but the green one.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Would show up.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
Or those annoying a holes would like a glitter bomb.
Speaker 6 (19:24):
I'll tell you this though, with all this information available,
people are still so lazy.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Well, I think the more information is readily available, the
dumber we become.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
There you have to do.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
You don't have to know anything because you can just
access it when you need it.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
I am so scared of the next generation's doctors. I
can't even tell you, like what are they actually learning?
Speaker 4 (19:44):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
But if they have access to the information, they can
figure it out on the fly, as long as they
can pop it into the computer. What my symptoms are
and here I can swallow this camera, you know, have
one crawled my ass for a couple of minutes, and
they can, you know, diagnose me like you know pet boys,
does they?
Speaker 7 (20:00):
The car is Yeah, but it.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Wasn't even that long ago that doctors didn't sit at
a computer when they were with you. Yeah, nowadays, it's
rare that they.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
It's it's so rare for everyone even making the extra effort.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Like if I meet with anybody, I've already gone to
their LinkedIn and like read everything about the company. People
don't even do that at all. That's why I hate
like doing group meetings because I'm like, I've over prepared.
I know the person that I'm meeting with, I know
what college they went to, i know like all the
talking points that I've put together, and then I have
a bunch of idiots who are like, oh, what's your name?
Speaker 4 (20:34):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Like, dude, all this information is available. Yeah, this is
why you don't have to be smarter. You just have
to work harder. Yeah, like you can.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
You can outwork anybody like you're your work ethic. You
can outwork a smarter person and be more successful than
a smarter person because you're going to outwork them, you know,
and that's that's going to help you out. You can
learn anything on a job for the most part, other
than you know, open heart surgery. You might even be
I want to learn that, you know, But I'm saying
for the most part, like most jobs that are out
(21:03):
there is the college degree necessary.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
No, But if you're a hard worker and you're there
and you're and you're learning, you're absorbing everything as you
get there, like you'll figure out that job. And because
you have that drive, you're going to succeed.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
So those little things make Menace stand out compared to
these other people who just showed up for the meeting
and winged it. Yeah, you know, here, here's some other
fun stuff old school inconvenience that would piss people off today.
And researching of the library was in there writing everything
down by hand instead of just being able to take
a note in your your phone, hunting down a payphone
(21:38):
to get a hold of somebody, or you're running late
to something.
Speaker 12 (21:43):
What did you do?
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Like, I lived through this time.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Yeah, there's no way to know. Yeah, I lived through
this time. I don't remember how we handled that.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
But I was a kid too, so I didn't have
the adult experience with you know, stress, having to be
responsible for being on time somewhere. I just I left,
my parents left. Yeah, you know, sharing a single phone
line at the house that I cannot imagine doing that
now using a manual typewriter. I mean, we talked about
the process of finding a job camping out in line
(22:11):
for concert or game tickets.
Speaker 5 (22:13):
That was kind of fun.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
It was the midnight release of the new album was
coming out. If you didn't catch the song on the radio,
you had to wait till the album came out. And
you know, people were waiting at midnight sales.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
I know, that looks so much fun. I never you
never did that, Never did that. I hosted a ton
of those.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
You know, dude, I remember when Limp Biscuits Significant other
was coming out and we did this massive hundreds of
people showed up to this music store in the suburbs
and the radio station was on site for the midnight
I was broadcasting live from the midnight sale of you
know whatever for Limp Biscuits Significant Others ninety nine A
(22:54):
ninety nine, And it was huge, and there was a
ton of people out there and everybody was pomp and
as soon as it went fun, as soon as it
went out on the shelves, like people were coming out
ripping open the CD and you could hear in the
parking lot like everybody's blasting the CD and you know,
playing the songs, and it became we talked about those
community experiences like where you're watching a movie with somebody,
(23:16):
or Kevin Smith was talking about you know, you know,
watching that trailer with all the other nerds at Comic Con.
It just made the whole experience that or that shared
experience shared vibe.
Speaker 5 (23:26):
The one we could never figure out as we grew
up was in college, how did everyone know where the
party was? Like, we all showed up at the same party,
but we didn't have cell phones. How did we And
we went back for some event we realized there was
a giant chalkboard and people would just write the address
on the chalkboard. We're like, oh, we forgot.
Speaker 7 (23:43):
About that, dude.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Bolletin boards were a big deal. You post a piece
of Now the bottom of it was kind of like tattered,
you know what I mean, Like the little tabs that
cut into a phone number on each one. So it's like, oh, hey,
i'm looking. I'm looking for this dog or if you
find it here and you grab the number, or oh hey,
i'm selling that was Facebook marketplace. I'm selling this couch.
Here's a crappy picture of it. If you're interested guitar lessons,
(24:08):
that's for total That's how you found out about I still.
Speaker 6 (24:13):
Seem like especially like Jimmy Johnson stuff, but a telephone,
it's usually like it's usually like psychics and like I
can detail your car. You know, it's not any fun
stuff anymore.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
I do like the ease of a lot of the stuff.
I'm not anti you know, progress and things like that.
It is weird to think. It is weird to think
about life sometimes before all that stuff, right, you know,
because again, but it's not like it's not like ancient
history or what you've only read about it, and it
seems like a different lifetime, right, it seems like a different.
Speaker 7 (24:48):
And we weren't.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
We weren't thinking it was so hard.
Speaker 7 (24:50):
It was just just what it was, exactly.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
Yeah. And thinking back to college. I had a record
store at my college. It ruled.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Smart.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
That's like those people that set up the girl Scout
cookie sales right outside the weed dispenser. Total, that's good placement.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
It was cool. And then we would go to those
releases like, oh, there's a new album out, let's go.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
All the college stores are pretty fun. Yeah, the one
I went to the one I obviously didn't go to Boston,
but I popped into their to their store and they
had all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Isn't that where your wife she went to be U
did she graduate?
Speaker 13 (25:25):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (25:26):
No, Oh she didn't. No, no, no, she ended up
getting a job like me.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
I didn't.
Speaker 6 (25:30):
You know, obviously I didn't graduate, but I ended up
getting a job while I was in school, right, and
then never looked back.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Well, here we are.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Six you guys. Yeah, no encyclopedias.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Now careful, you know, if if you're gonna take a
shot and use a I for something like Morgan said,
just yeah, take a look at it. They know about
these things with white you know, font.
Speaker 12 (25:53):
Or know what the prompt is in general you're writing about.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Especially if you're trying to become a doctor.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Show and we pop right over to Gina grad who's
got the trending news headlines.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Well, doctor Anthony Fauci, he's gone back up to Capitol Hill.
But instead of answering questions, he pleaded the Fifth a
ton of times.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
What day of the week is it today?
Speaker 13 (26:16):
On the divisive Council, I respectfully declined to and se
based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
The Constitution, what color tie you're wearing?
Speaker 13 (26:25):
On the Advisive Council, I respectfully declined to and se
based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution.
What color is the carpet in front of you on
the Advisive Council, I respectfully declined to and se based
upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the const Let's.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Just get one thing straight. You don't have any rights
under the Fifth Amendment.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
That happens every time.
Speaker 7 (26:48):
You actually watched that.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
I saw a lot of it, and it watched it, yeah,
and why it was interesting and because I was wondering
if he's ever not going to plead the fifth He
did it times.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
He was given a pardon by Biden, right for every
everything up to and including twenty twenty five. So now
at this point he could be held in contempt for
however he handles this stuff. Right, So like this whole
thing yesterday, which is dumb dude, let it go. Yeah,
they love that, you know, well, he's this is this
is hey, by the way, this is what everybody's asked for.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
So I hate to break out that. That's what I've
been saying.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
But for years, one side's going after the other side
on every little like whatever it was for Trump and
oh he undervalued whatever, or hey, there were these documents
that were founded. Okay, and everybody was like rooting and
and what do you think was gonna happen? This is
my problem with the partisan politics is that the other
side is going to do the same thing, and when
(27:49):
it does, you can't act surprised.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
So this is what you get. This is what happens.
Here we are and now the.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Next thing, whoever ends up in power next is gonna
try to right all the wrong And you know, be
tom petty about all the stuff that happened in this
period of time.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
This is this is the world we are, This is
the world we're in now.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Well, this is because if it happens to them, that's
not fair.
Speaker 6 (28:11):
This is it.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
So if you root it for the other stuff, you
got to root for this stuff too.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
But there were a few moments though, like he apparently
if it's true, if it's true, Fauci had used eight
federal employees to do nothing but apply for awards for him.
So that's how he made we have we have.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Shows in this building that yeah, make sure everybody in
the building knows it's my birthday tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
The balloon arch I thought the same.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Dude, somebody breathe make sure they put out a pressure
release about it.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yeah, oh yeah, Well it's so funny that there was
I mentioned those Marconi awards. It's a big it's a
big award in radio, it's the Oscars of of radio.
And uh, and they put out this big email to
all the people who you know, work in the company
who were nominated for one of these awards. Right now,
(29:07):
ask when the last time they send an email out
about the actual ratings like these awards that mean nothing,
not a bit of ratings or revenue attached to any
one of these things. They never send out because and
I was told it was like, well, you know what,
it's interesting, It's like, I don't ever see anything about
the ratings that we always do very well in. And
the reason they don't put emails out about ratings anymore
(29:29):
is because of hurt feelings, because of some of these
same people who are constantly applying for their own awards
and things like that get butt hurt when like they're
not shown as the top show in the building or uh,
you know, they weren't in the top five of whatever,
and so now they don't. So now they don't send
out emails about ratings. Only when people are nominated for
(29:53):
useless awards?
Speaker 5 (29:53):
Wouldn't it be the other way around?
Speaker 1 (29:56):
Like you, this is what you're actually as you're on right.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Yeah, you know you think if you say, oh I
got this award, I would like a razor and go,
well you are a whatever award winner. I don't know
They're not going to do that, you know. But yesterday this,
this is what Jeff and I were kind of laughing about.
This is exactly what it reminded us of.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Chappelle. Now, what if you put those two things together.
What day the week is it?
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Today you're wearing.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
We call he's a carpet in front of you.
Speaker 12 (30:41):
That's what it was.
Speaker 5 (30:42):
That's that was the old thing. Jared Letto he's facing
new sexual misconduct allegations after a BBC documentary called Jared
Leto Hollywood's Dark Secret that came out yesterday, and in it,
five women say they got sexually explicit phone calls from Leto.
One claims he assaulted her in a motel bathroom when
she was seventeen, and a dude also says Letos sexually
(31:02):
assaulted him when he was nineteen, and the BBC says
they spent months investigating all of this they looked over
a mountain of evidence leto deny.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
What's the evidence? I'd be interested because my question, I'm
saying the honest question. When I when I saw this
a mountain of evidence, I go, Okay, well are these
police reports? Did they go to the cops, did they
report this or did they just wait for the documentary opportunity?
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Well, it would it be like a class action suit,
like do you put it in the paper?
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Anyone who's ever been touched by shared Letto call up.
But that's my question, and I don't know. I don't
know that maybe there are, maybe there are.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
Reports to the allegations in the past that they may have.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
I just think it's interesting when someone's first move to
expose something is a documentary. Yeah, like you waited however long,
but now it's an opportunity to you know, put a
documentary or have some kind of like sensationalized.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
I think I saw on TMC that they did not
report it to the police. So I don't know what
evidence they would have mountain.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
Of evidence, Greg, it'stain the mountain.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
I don't And you know what, maybe it's true and
maybe he is all these things and he did all
these things. And that turns out to be the case,
then you know, hey, shame on him, and you know
he gets whatever he deserves at that point. But you know,
there seems to be a lot of these types of
allegations that get thrown out there based on mountain of evidence,
like well what evidence?
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, like what your documentary?
Speaker 2 (32:19):
What do we talking because it's uh, you know, documentary.
The documentary is not a court.
Speaker 12 (32:25):
No, so you get paid to be in a documentary
usually not can it depends on who you are.
Speaker 5 (32:33):
Well, Leno denies all this, and I say, Leno, I
meant leto He says, I've never sexually assaulted anyone in
my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.
Like you said, no criminal charges have been filed, None
of the allegations have been proven in court. So we'll
see what happens next. And we talked about Tony Romo
getting an o w I yesterday and now we have
(32:53):
a little update. Turns out Tony Romo had an open
container in his car, so whoopsie. So now he faces
three charges. Well it was ow I, open container and
refusing a breathalyzer. By the way, as of right now,
CBS Sports has no plans to discipline him over these charges,
So everything smooth saling for right now?
Speaker 1 (33:15):
A yeah, and oh my god, you guys crently for
a drunk guy.
Speaker 5 (33:19):
You know, it's so polite.
Speaker 7 (33:21):
Did you see him doing his backstretches while he was
waiting to do that? Hilarious because he.
Speaker 5 (33:25):
Works smarter, not harder. Well, this is pretty badass. Schools
in Florida, Georgia, and Colorado are going to be equipped
with these drones this year that can zoom through halls,
smash windows, and pepper spray active shooters if teachers report
a threat. How awesome is that The drones are made
by Mithral Defense out of Austin. They can be activated
(33:46):
by teachers, and they're capable of getting to a shooter
in fifteen seconds. I meanwhile, schools across the country they're
stocking up on defense tech like you know, AI powered
cameras and weapons and detectors things like that. Now, some
school districts and parents say military grade equip It meant
like these drones don't belong at pack schools with children,
but neither the shooters. Desperate times called for desperate measures.
(34:07):
What do you want?
Speaker 1 (34:08):
I think it's awesome, but super sad at the same
time that.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
Oh and remember when we talked about that sixty thousand
dollars robot teacher, you know that looked like the real
hair and sat in the classroom.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Oh yeah, that wasn't for security. That was just they're
going to put a humanoid robot in the teachers.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
And she was like kind of hot. That's why she
was a really good look as well.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Kids want to stay.
Speaker 5 (34:32):
After class, spanky teacher. Well that's over now, it's over
before it started. Salamanca City Central High School has scrapped
the robot teacher program because teachers and families are worried
about the handling of students personal information.
Speaker 14 (34:46):
Jealous.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yeah, how hot it was? Yeah, and they did not like.
Speaker 5 (34:51):
That she was hot and made by.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Her ugly.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Did you ever see your teachers out of the classroom
like at the grocery sod? Imagine when they have these
things eventually, and like some kid finds their teacher in
their dad's closet, right.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Gina, Gina, what are they doing with the doll asking
for a friend?
Speaker 5 (35:12):
Let's say they're probably repurposing them.
Speaker 7 (35:14):
Yeah, give them my address?
Speaker 4 (35:16):
Yeah right, I saw my second grade teacher who I loved,
missus Neil, And I saw her in her car smoking
a cigarette and oh, man, shes smokes.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Do you think cool?
Speaker 4 (35:27):
I thought she was cool. Yeah, oh I didn't think
smoking was cool and she didn't grade not then. I
think it was like fourth grade that I like it.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
Yeah, we saw a principal smoking outside. We had a
heart attack.
Speaker 6 (35:37):
Oh my god, they smoke. We have one teacher anymore,
We have one teacher. She dressed so slutty in public.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
It was awesome.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Did you see blah bla blah. Yeah, she let them
all hang out nice.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
I never thought, even as a kid, like, I never
thought seeing somebody smoke, that this is the time when
smoking was considered cool. Okay, le's normal. Yeah, I never
I never saw someone smoking out. Wow, it's cool. I
thought it was cool. The way they smoked, so like
if they held the cigarette in their hand just like,
you know, between their fingers with the lip side out,
I didn't think that was cool.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
But if they held it with their thumb and their
pointer finger.
Speaker 7 (36:13):
And it was kind of like and then they they
did one of one of those you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (36:19):
It like that was cool. I thought it was super cool,
like when they picked one foot up and kind of
like knock the the the cherry.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Yeah, off the end of it and like save the
rest of it.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
You know, they would knock the cherry off the end
and put that little half smoked cigarette back in the pack.
Speaker 7 (36:36):
I thought that was cool about smoke rings.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Well, that's awesome. I mean that was that was pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
That zippos were cool.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Were really cool. You could.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
Why did people I don't know if they still do this.
They take a pack and the first cigarette they turn
upside down.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
It's a lucky cigarette. I yeah, it's the lucky So
what do you do with it? You smoke it blast.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
I always thought it was funny when you know, people
would take I mean I smoked very briefly, probably for
like three years. Yeah, I smoked pretty heavy because everybody
at the radio station was. It was part of the
social thing. So I see where people get looped into it.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Yeah you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
And uh, anyway, so I started doing it too. Man,
you get a pack of cigarettes, and I never understood why.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
It was just somebody you didn't get. Yeah, like yeah
you get and you're like you're just like you got
to activate it.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
Yeah, make sure the lore is that it got the
tobacco more packed down. Yeah you get a yeah is
that right? I mean you could physically see it, because
it did.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
It make a noticeable difference in the way that the
cigarette smokes.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
Smokers are so habitual, like it's all like a lot
of hand movements.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Yeah, like baseball players their gloves all the time.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Yeah. We played a game where you open a new
pack of cigarettes and you take the sullafane wrapper halfway
down the pack, and then you put a quarter on it,
and then you use your lit cigarette to burn around it,
and then whoever made the quarter drop lost.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Yea, so cool man, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (38:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (38:02):
Eight four Wooding text us over to two two nine
eight seven. We got more Woody Show next. Hang, it
just sounds so like.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
In the future, weird. Ye give a wards back. Yeah right,
My award shelf was empty the Woody Show.
Speaker 15 (38:24):
Show.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Hey, Greg, next time you're at Aldi, Oh I'm listening,
look for this item that they're selling. It's a stand
for your toilet seat that holds your phone while you're
sitting on the throne.
Speaker 4 (38:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Uh, it holds the phone. The flat place on top.
The straight picture here and then the toilet paper rollholders
underneath that, okay, and then at the bottom there's a
spot for like a like a toilet brush.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
So there's something you would love to see aesthetically pleasing
the area.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
There's the picture of it.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
It looks like one of those.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
It's not too it's actually not too bad. You would
have to sit your house.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
Ah, yeah, in the in the primary bathroom my mind,
not in the guest bathroom or the powder room.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
But yeah, you're not.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
You're not with having like a like a plunger or
like a toilet brush visible.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
Yeah, have one. That's why I thought, like you would
not would hate to be seen. No, that's not too
bad looking. But then the top for the phone, it
should be at an angle. Yeah, yeah, for sure it
can fall.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
But this this woman, now, dare I say, Karen is
coming after aldi and she says they need to pull
this item off the shelf. It is quote irresponsible and inappropriate.
People have too much time. Her complaint is that it
encourages phone addiction end quote. Reinforces the idea that we
are all glued to our phones.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
But whether you have that or not, but it's free will,
and we do it with magazine.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
It's totally Aldi has not commented, but it seems like
they're ignoring her because the stands.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
Are still there. Probably selling, I was gonna say, If anything,
she's probably helped them sell a few. Dude, I have
a toilet paper story for you.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Greg.
Speaker 6 (40:13):
Oh, I just went and bought some yesterday, and then
I go back into my building and I have my
little wagon, right.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
So the toilet paper is on full display for.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
The whole world.
Speaker 6 (40:25):
Yeah, your your nightmare. So people know that I bought
toilet paper. And this guy comes up and he goes, Oh,
my toilet paper deliveries here. And you know what I said, Greg,
I said, don't you think you need more?
Speaker 4 (40:37):
Ourn?
Speaker 1 (40:39):
So Greg, do that just in cases somebody calls out, Uh,
you know, look at you. You bought toilet paper. I
know that's your nightmare.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
That comeback?
Speaker 1 (40:47):
Yeah, don't you think you need a little bit more?
I'm not getting I'm not getting either.
Speaker 7 (40:52):
Why not?
Speaker 12 (40:53):
How is that a comeback?
Speaker 1 (40:55):
Because hold on, you have your wagon? Yes, are you
not getting?
Speaker 2 (41:02):
So you're you're pulling your wagon pulling full of toilet paper?
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Right he goes, he goes, Oh, my toilet paper delivery
is here.
Speaker 6 (41:11):
So he's making the he's calling out that I have
this toilet paper in there, even though there's a bunch
of other stuff in there. Yeah, and then I say,
and then I say, you go, don't you think he
needs more?
Speaker 12 (41:22):
No, we heard what you said.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
I guess where's the burn and there the burden is
he poops a lot? Okay, because he would need more. Morgan,
I mean, are you getting I like that?
Speaker 12 (41:37):
Minace is so proud of it.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
I'm struggling.
Speaker 12 (41:40):
I'm and did the guy look confused when you said
that to him?
Speaker 1 (41:44):
No, he's like, oh, he got me.
Speaker 6 (41:46):
He laughed, like I get it because he was trying
to call me out for having the toilet paper, and
I said, no, dude, you don't gonna need more because
you poop more.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
My uncle was a police officer for many many years,
retired now, but he was always saying, man, God, if
I walk into one more place and somebody puts their
hands and go, didn't do it.
Speaker 16 (42:04):
One.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
It's like, it's not as funny as you think it is. Yeah,
I hate a billion times, but yeah, your kids are
both really tall. Your sons are really tall, and doesn't
your one son get really mad like people when they
meet them, they go, oh, wow, you're tall, are you?
That's always you know, tall people get that question, how.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
Tall are you?
Speaker 8 (42:26):
He hates it and he gets mad right and even like, well,
like lower his height just because he's like almost six
or five. And I'll be like, well, I guess I'm
like six three, and I'm like yeah, because Sammy asked him,
and he gets like embarrassed.
Speaker 7 (42:39):
Because that's the only thing people tell you.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
I never heard.
Speaker 5 (42:41):
That's why I never point out the obvious thing about someone,
because I assume they've heard it a million times. It's
not a great conversation.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Here you go, menace nine four nine. It took me
a second, but I get it.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
It's a solid burn. Well done.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
They just don't want to get We'll get it, well done.
And a couple of other people on the text speaking
of Sammy, where is Sammy? Is she okay?
Speaker 4 (43:00):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Where is she going to be at?
Speaker 4 (43:01):
Well?
Speaker 1 (43:02):
Yeah, she's she died, so it's really sad.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
Yeah, Sammy died. She's not here today.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
She died pooping.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Yeah, Sammy died doing what she rest in peace?
Speaker 1 (43:15):
Sam pooping? This rule the boy doesn't want to have sex? Yeah, yeah,
you gotta put your mouth on.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
No, no, okay, that is quite impressive, quite quite quite impressive.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
That's lovely.
Speaker 17 (43:32):
We've been saying the Wood Show, It's Wood, it's Greg
Gorg Yeah, Hi Menace, Yeah, Sea Mass, We've got Jeff
g We've got Morgan.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
Here, Morgan's got some some news. But she wants to share.
She she's downright giddy.
Speaker 4 (43:51):
I really am, okay, good, I don't know.
Speaker 12 (43:53):
I'm shooting sparks. Told Gina, Gina knows some people know. Yeah,
all right, just tell him.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
So I.
Speaker 12 (44:04):
The bell ready, get the bell ready. I'm going to
Japan next.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Yeah, there's so much.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
More that's airhorn worthy, not be worthy.
Speaker 12 (44:12):
And I'm flying first class for the first time.
Speaker 1 (44:16):
She's freaking out.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
Should be.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
That's a long hour.
Speaker 12 (44:20):
I'm literally crapping my pants right now. I know I'm
freaking out.
Speaker 5 (44:25):
Is there anywhere news?
Speaker 3 (44:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (44:28):
So this guy that I've been seeing, I mean the
same guy.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
Yes, okay, I was wondering if this was still going on.
It is.
Speaker 12 (44:36):
Yeah, we're doing well.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
Yeah I was. I was wondering if this was still
going on?
Speaker 12 (44:39):
Are you laughing, Sea Bass? He always laughs when good
things happened.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Well, like we're doing well, now one of he's doing
real well, what do you mean one of us, you know,
the first class have a simple story, you know.
Speaker 15 (44:53):
Anyway, things are going really well, and I'm he's flying
me out to Japan.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
This is the guy who's the m M A trainer
or whatever. Right, Okay, so you know he does something
that she thinks is really cool, right, and so they
have that in common. Right, And then she went to
d C.
Speaker 12 (45:07):
Yeah, I was with him.
Speaker 2 (45:08):
That was when they did the White House UFC event, right,
and you were there with him, And I remember leading
up to that.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
That was the whole thing about like you know, uh,
what was it like there was like a bush request
or something request. It definitely came up.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
And it seemed to be like after that trip, I
don't remember really hearing anything about him or otherwise after that,
So I didn't know if it fizzled out. I hadn't asked,
because then he started going through all the stuff with
the dog and yeah, and whenever, I'm like, okay, well
if the relationship didn't kind of work out the way,
because she was talking, Oh, we're gonna get married and
I'm gonna have this guy's baby.
Speaker 5 (45:41):
Yeah, but you don't want to double down on the bad.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
News just in case. Yes, so I didn't want to
ask about that in case that you know, hadn't worked out.
And then I got the dog thing and no, things
are great.
Speaker 12 (45:51):
I just thought, maybe people don't need to hear all
my personal business.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
Yeah, this, So what's the situation.
Speaker 2 (45:58):
Are you guys dating or uh?
Speaker 12 (46:01):
Gina heard something? He called me his girlfriend?
Speaker 1 (46:04):
So, well, see this guy, I don't know seas let
me ask you.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
He seems to be playing this the right way. He's
playing it the right way, yeah, because I mean she's
she's benefiting. No, I'm saying, but like you know her reaction.
You guys don't live close to each other, right, Okay,
so that's what I'm saying. It's a long distance thing.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
He's courting her, Yeah, but he's he's.
Speaker 2 (46:27):
Making her feel super special, right, He's saying all the
right to keep her like on the hook and super
excited on the hook.
Speaker 4 (46:35):
Right.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
I mean, this guy doesn't have to do much, you guys,
it's not like he's really like no, but I'm saying,
no offense.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
This isn't you know, it's not.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
An exclusive relationship or is it?
Speaker 12 (46:45):
We have talked for Yeah, that's and because if.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
He is juggling chicks, that's what I'm saying, he is
playing it. I think he's playing it pretty smooth.
Speaker 7 (46:53):
Yeah, is that what you're playing?
Speaker 4 (46:56):
Sea bass?
Speaker 13 (46:56):
No?
Speaker 1 (46:57):
No, No, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
I don't know anything about this other than what she
has said.
Speaker 15 (47:02):
So I assume in the beginning, and like I did
do with most men, right, I just assume they got
a bunch of girls, Especially someone like this that can
do a lot of things, they probably have girls in
every town. He has told me that's not true, and
that he's interested in me and being monogamous and relationship. So,
I mean, again, that's what he says.
Speaker 12 (47:21):
I believe it. Yeah, I believe it.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
And so says, hey, we're going to Japan. Pack your
bags girl.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (47:27):
He was like, do you want to come to Japan
with me? And I'm like, uh, is it a work
trip for him? Yeah? So I'm going to get to
go to a fight in Japan.
Speaker 5 (47:34):
Girl just starts to have a chick that actually cares about.
Speaker 12 (47:38):
What he does.
Speaker 7 (47:40):
I will say this, if you are a side piece,
you're not flying first.
Speaker 5 (47:44):
Class, You're not going to events with you.
Speaker 7 (47:46):
Yeah, I mean I think you're good.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
That's that's a good point. It's for real first class,
not like business plus or anything like. Like I was
looking at the Giant.
Speaker 12 (47:54):
It's a lie down seat. You can be six or five.
It's like a whole bed.
Speaker 15 (47:59):
They call it a sweet She's gonna be playing Fergie,
you know my men the fancy song.
Speaker 1 (48:04):
Yeah, yeah, glamorous, glamorous first Oh, that's a banger because
you can request, I.
Speaker 15 (48:13):
Can request meals, I can have whatever drinks I want,
Like I'm an economy bitch.
Speaker 12 (48:18):
This is crazy, all right? And again fight that long,
I know, for twelve hour flight.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Now, Morgan, you don't want to, you know, fumble this.
So I'm careful for the drinks.
Speaker 12 (48:28):
You know, I'm not going to drink.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
Are you flying with him or are you meeting him there?
Speaker 12 (48:33):
Meeting him there? Okay, yow, Okay, he's already there.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Does that change something for you?
Speaker 1 (48:38):
No, I'm just does okay, let me ask does he
is he previously married? Does you have kids? All that
kind of stuff? Now, I'm older.
Speaker 7 (48:44):
Is he than than you?
Speaker 12 (48:45):
He's older than me?
Speaker 1 (48:46):
I mean that's how she likes him. Yeah, he could
be older, almost elderly.
Speaker 12 (48:52):
He's in his forties.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
That's young compared to how she I typically likes.
Speaker 12 (48:57):
Like, am I too old for you? And I'm like,
you're not really old enough breathing.
Speaker 1 (49:01):
Here's here's okay. Please don't take this the wrong way.
Speaker 12 (49:07):
That's why I haven't talked about it lately.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Why we're all happy for you. Get that, Sea Bass.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
You have to consider the source.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
Unlike other people. I will not I will not spill
stuff you say off the air on the air. But
why you.
Speaker 12 (49:21):
Ask him? And you asked that before, and I did
agree in the beginning.
Speaker 15 (49:30):
Yeah, I'm not a beautiful like well, I'm not a
supermodel Instagram like super hot chick, right.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
Which again, I get it, people fall in love.
Speaker 12 (49:37):
I understand that my personality, Sea Bass.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
Well, you said you just to be fair.
Speaker 2 (49:43):
I remember when he had that that blonde girlfriend, lawyer
like chick. It brought over to your house, Greg, Yeah,
and we asked her the same question. Why him?
Speaker 1 (49:52):
Did you have an answer?
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Because she was like super cool and like.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
Really like out going and whatever. Like all my girlfriend
has always been super cool, out math.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
But we're always wondering because you are a certain way
with us. I think that he's uh, he's a different
person with that.
Speaker 4 (50:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (50:04):
So yeah, but.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
You said, like when you met this guy there was
some kind of connection right away.
Speaker 12 (50:14):
Yes, I felt it.
Speaker 15 (50:15):
But again I'm I don't like the term hopeless romantic
because I don't agree with the hopeless part.
Speaker 12 (50:20):
But I am a romantic.
Speaker 15 (50:21):
I love love, right, so I totally believe in like
love and first sight and all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (50:27):
So you definitely felt you feel like you're in love?
Speaker 1 (50:29):
Oh yeah, really?
Speaker 4 (50:30):
Really?
Speaker 1 (50:31):
Well, I fall out of love.
Speaker 12 (50:32):
I always fall into love and then I fall out.
Speaker 4 (50:34):
Does he know that? Have you said that?
Speaker 1 (50:35):
No?
Speaker 2 (50:36):
Okay, so nobody's nobody said love.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
No, no, no, and I won't How many times have
you been not physically like, how many times have you
been in the same space with this guy?
Speaker 12 (50:46):
Well, other than meeting him, which was very brief, and
then when I saw him in d C.
Speaker 4 (50:50):
So two times.
Speaker 12 (50:51):
Yeah, Well d C was basically just when he was like,
well that was a couple of days, but it.
Speaker 4 (50:55):
Was just one yeah, one time exactly.
Speaker 5 (50:59):
But if he's not just some like dude who has
you know, is juggling chicks? In every report, she's you're pretty,
you're tall, you're thin, you're athletic, and you're into what
he does for a living.
Speaker 7 (51:10):
It's perfect, great sense of humor, You're fun to be around.
Speaker 12 (51:14):
Like I suggest you ask him why me, because I
would be I.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
I don't want. I want to put this delicately.
Speaker 4 (51:20):
That's nice.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
I mean, I'm sure we'll find out eventually, hopefully why not,
I'll tell you why. We're kind of going through all
the reasons right now. There's a large amount of expense
being put forth on Morgan, which is with all within
his right to do if he likes that.
Speaker 12 (51:37):
And let me say, I never once asked to be
flown out or first.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
Okay, absolutely, that's good and I don't think you would either.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
But but he's got money. And somebody made a point
on the text. If he's got money, even a side piece,
find a side piece out first class not a big deal, true,
you know what I mean. It's not like he sent
a private jet for her.
Speaker 1 (51:55):
I mean, if you're if you're not me, we'll get there. Well,
let's say at first pective class of Japan is probably
ten over ten thousand dollars. Yeah, there a round trip, yeah,
round trip probably. Yeah, that's my last first class of
business plus so that's like two thousand versus.
Speaker 12 (52:07):
Ten thousand, you're actually right now it is around ten.
Speaker 7 (52:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
Yeah, so that's that's not nothing, and you have to
be that's a yeah. I mean you have to be
either really serious about someone or just have well over
seven figures. Maybe it's both, thank you, right, which but
you get my question being that if this guy met
Morgan by heard tagging him in a photo on Instagram,
which is fine and great, like there's there's a lot
(52:30):
of women who've done that. I'm sure that again, it's a.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
Numbers game, dude.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
You just keep on tagging until.
Speaker 4 (52:35):
You find.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
I'm not saying this isn't genuine.
Speaker 7 (52:39):
He may very well.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
You guys might be the you know, princess and the
peach or whatever the hell.
Speaker 4 (52:43):
That proble is.
Speaker 12 (52:45):
Just say you don't want to go to the wedding.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
It's fine, but my point, but okay, I was also say, like,
because I think my wife saw like this guy excuse me,
like the like saw him on Instagram or whatever.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
Yeah, She's like, oh wow, she goes he kind of
looks like Tyler.
Speaker 12 (53:00):
Oh my god, I hate this. It's not the first
time I've heard that he's a much.
Speaker 1 (53:07):
Anybody know.
Speaker 2 (53:08):
My point is My point is, like this guy himself
other than his job, and he's got a really cool
job something you really think it's cool. And he's got
dough clearly, but he's not. He's not like like a
textbook handsome dude. He's a bigger guy, which is surprising
because you know he's a trainer for these fighters and
stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
So it's like a I'm trying to like a manly
kind of man. Yeah, it's kind of like a like
a I don't I don't want to like he's.
Speaker 12 (53:37):
Not he's not a some people would say he's ugly,
right or.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Like he's not a traditionally like you know, like handsome.
It's not a Brad Pitt kind of whoever, let's go
with Henry call from Henry.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Thing.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
So maybe so you know, maybe he's thinking the same thing,
you know what I mean, like, you know, because it's
not just about you know, your job, like people would
be attracted him because of the job or because.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
Of the money, you know, but like you're common interest.
Yeah you so like you're like why her? You could
be sitting like why me?
Speaker 12 (54:08):
I mean it exactly, it's a valid question, thank you,
but it's not. But it's not you truly know it is?
Speaker 5 (54:16):
That doesn't you believe everything Morgan says?
Speaker 15 (54:19):
But also see you know me, right, but you don't
know me, know me? So I think when someone actually
truly gets to know me, like surprise, I'm actually a
good person deep down like and I'm not and I'm fine.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
That's absolutely true. Everything Jef said is true.
Speaker 1 (54:32):
It's true. So this goes back to Greg's point from
a long time ago. If you are a woman and
you want and you want to be set for life.
Speaker 4 (54:39):
You say two words, I do and if this happens,
this is.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
My Gina takes exception with that. She goes, why I
did it wrong?
Speaker 4 (54:47):
You did? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (54:48):
I know, and it is yeah, the exception the first one.
The first one is for money, the second one is
for love. But this worries me selfishly because is what
if it does progress to the next level?
Speaker 4 (55:02):
Would he move to where you live?
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Be out?
Speaker 12 (55:05):
So you know we've already been talking about that.
Speaker 1 (55:11):
A person that you've hung out with in person once.
Speaker 12 (55:14):
I told y'all, I'm I'm like a lesbian kind of
move fast.
Speaker 5 (55:18):
Well remember her, remember her famous support date from a
couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
It's one thing Yeah, it's one thing if one side
is moving really quick like that, but if both sides
are moving really quick like that, and I think.
Speaker 4 (55:31):
That's a good side.
Speaker 8 (55:32):
Yeaheah, yeah exactly, because it's not one person loved bombing right, yes,
both of them together.
Speaker 15 (55:37):
And it's not like we're saying like, oh, I'm going
to move in with you. It's talking about what are
your intentions.
Speaker 12 (55:42):
What are you looking for? What do you see?
Speaker 5 (55:44):
I think this trip will be a pretty big deciding factor.
Speaker 6 (55:48):
Well, yeah, you always find out, like if you're really
competitive traveling with somebody out for sure.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
Yeah, there's a lot of Sea Bass's such a dick
text coming in one theory though, Sea Bass has a
crush on Morgan. He's getting his heart crushed on the air.
Speaker 1 (56:01):
I don't think I'm acknowledging all the same things you
guys are acknowledging, and Morgan's agreeing with me. People Hello
and number two to Greg's point, and I agree Morgan
leading would be sad, but babe, but she doesn't have
much to leave.
Speaker 18 (56:20):
What I was.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
I talked about years ago. She's not tied down, this
job ain't gone anywhere, no offense, and I've been very
upfront because I was in Morgan's position. You know this,
there's not They're not just creating magical radio host jobs
at this company that pay six figures and just tossing
them out in the win. In fact, they're doing quite
the opposite.
Speaker 4 (56:43):
True So to this is this is perfect for her.
Speaker 1 (56:46):
But again, you got to go and I said with before, like,
you got to go where the opportunities are, and that's
what I commend Morgan for doing that.
Speaker 5 (56:53):
I don't disagree with that.
Speaker 4 (56:55):
So yeah, no, I logically agree without one thousand percent.
I just don't want more than to leave.
Speaker 12 (57:02):
It's not going to happen anytime soon.
Speaker 5 (57:03):
Don't forget about us, Morgan.
Speaker 12 (57:05):
But I am going to Japan first class.
Speaker 1 (57:07):
Yeah, she's looking.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Up like is she's supposed to be wearing a certain
like dress co poor.
Speaker 12 (57:13):
I don't want to like, I can't show up in
like flip flops and stuff at the bund.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
At least wear slacks and a sensible shirt.
Speaker 7 (57:22):
I wore a suit.
Speaker 12 (57:24):
Do I wear heels?
Speaker 5 (57:25):
You know what you can do? The look, the travel
look if you want to look rich is you can
wear a sweatsup, but you have to wear a trench
coat over it.
Speaker 12 (57:31):
Oh do I bring my fur coat?
Speaker 5 (57:32):
Not at the next give.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
We may be not talking about who to impressed the man.
We need to be talking about how to impress Japan. Yeah,
you don't want to show up to be some crappy,
lazy slab American.
Speaker 12 (57:45):
Yeah, that's also true.
Speaker 5 (57:46):
So let's ask chat Gibt.
Speaker 1 (57:48):
I'll get on it.
Speaker 7 (57:48):
We should do some fit checks, Morgan, Yeah, real.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
Especially for a long flight athlease, You're wear would be fine. Yeah,
not to Japan, but god, you stupid Americans. Jeus, you're
disgusting to there. We go to a clean, highly respectful country,
and we respect that country by dressing like a.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
Sports bar and some yoga pants something like that. They
make some nicer looking like uh no, not pants suits.
I don't even know what they would call it, but
like they're like some nicer and more comfortable at leisure
wear kind of pants like linen, and we would call it.
Speaker 1 (58:22):
Travel slack. And she can change before she gets off
the planet, so like when.
Speaker 5 (58:27):
She you know, yeah, I it presents Morgan. This this
hurts me so bad to say, but I just chat.
How should one dress in first class to Japan as
a young woman? Sea Bass might have been right.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
Everything I've said.
Speaker 5 (58:41):
So the goal is not to look too flashy. It's
to look polished, comfortable and understated. But everything they're showing
is like linen and sweaters and a nice.
Speaker 12 (58:50):
Ya got seas. We have to go shopping.
Speaker 2 (58:52):
Now, put your hair up and use like a chopstick
to hold it. You can have like a little pillow
attached to your back. You know you look most honorable.
Speaker 1 (59:07):
Yeah, exactly. If we work quick, we can start buying
your feet now, make them real small tiny feet. I mean,
do you have any wooden shoes that are just too
like right, if you want to get comfortable before you
go over there, like we can. You know, we can
put some walls up in the studio, build some paper,
(59:28):
paper partitions, some paper partitions and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (59:31):
Just sit on the floor.
Speaker 12 (59:32):
Yeah, I don't want to stand out too much.
Speaker 2 (59:34):
But back to as on tree in here or something.
Speaker 1 (59:36):
When I walk by unique claws, like oh, that looks
like what people in Japan wear. It's very it's like
it's very pale colors and long and boxy.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
Well, I know it's today. Maybe you're manifesting it, but
even again, like now I'm sounding like sea beats don't
take that's the wrong way. But today you look This
is going to sound terrible, but today you look more
put together than normal.
Speaker 13 (59:57):
You have.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
You're wearing a ring, ear rings on.
Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
It's like you make up your hair because normally you're
wearing oversized.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
T shirt, normally a slop.
Speaker 12 (01:00:10):
I'm trying, Okay, I'll just say it, normally I do.
Speaker 4 (01:00:14):
Today you look really put together.
Speaker 12 (01:00:15):
I brush my hair this morning, Greg, Yeah, exactly, jewelry on.
You look well. And it's and it's not the joey
that turns your fingers green either.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
Oh, it's real joy.
Speaker 12 (01:00:24):
We're trying to level up you guys.
Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
We are trying.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
We are happy for you, excited about this experience. You're
about to have a couple of really big japan fans here.
Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
In the building. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
I could not be more jealous. Yeah, it's gonna rule
in many ways apparently.
Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
And Vaughn, as we saw on his Instagram, he was
in WARF tour and he was talking to all the
bands every so many bands. Yeah, yeah, I mean, and
you're you're really into it, so you know who all
these bands are, even bands that most people have never
even heard of, forty different ones.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
Yeah, ended up being twenty seven interviews over too.
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
Yeah, well, now did you go in there knowing about
all these bands or did you like, oh, I'm gonna
speak to this band, so I'm gonna look up some
stuff real quick. And because it seemed like you knew
all about them.
Speaker 19 (01:01:10):
Yeah, So about I would say sixteen hours or already scheduled,
but about ten to twelve bands came up during the
warp tour and we're like, interview US, interview US, So
I like five minutes to do some quick research and
you know, a good interview in so.
Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
Yeah, nice.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Yeah, they all seem to dig your vibe and energy.
Speaker 4 (01:01:25):
Man, Yeah for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
So yeah I told them, I said, you did a
really good job.
Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
I appreciate job you guys. All right, so, uh, what
do you show family Feud?
Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
It's Warped Tour additions with Vaughan who talked to a
lot of the Warped Tour bands, and uh, who is
the first band?
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
All right?
Speaker 19 (01:01:42):
So the first band is Gym Class Heroes and uh,
there you go, Gym Class Heroes Sleeping choke hold.
Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
Yeah all right.
Speaker 19 (01:01:51):
Yeah, so they actually two were coming up with Bob
and Loope and one of their friends is menace. And
here's a Traviy giving a little shout out to uh
two minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:02:03):
Here, oh, a shout out to menace. Nice, wow minutes
look at you with the gifts work.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
For the show. We have a guy on there call
it minas or what menace as you? Formerly formally known
as White Menace. And I never had no. I just
wondered why why didn't he dropped? And I was like,
oh my, I don't know which one works better. No,
he comes to all the picnics.
Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Yeah, I'm so happy that he's doing really well and
they're doing this tour. It's gonna be awesome. All right,

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
Just moving movies.
Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Yeah, worse people say dinner is a bad first date.
You're locked in, like meet for a drink? Leaving the
schedule open. So if you go, the drink goes well,
you know.
Speaker 6 (01:03:19):
But I mean if you see Traviy on social he's
a very communal guy, so he would probably want dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
All right, and you're a lot of people.
Speaker 4 (01:03:28):
Movie.
Speaker 7 (01:03:28):

just make sure it's quiet?
Speaker 4 (01:03:48):

time to hang out until.

you know.
Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Yeah, well it actually it actually is kind of a
family movie. There's a lot of love in there, and
a lot of starting of families, I believe.

your your your your cops. You're in Vermont, right and
the new thing now is there's something going on in town.
Speaker 4 (01:14:49):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
They're trying to get to the bottom of a case,
as the Supertroopers do in in the in their own
special way, right this uh, this this crime.
Speaker 20 (01:14:58):
There's a drug called Canadian Chris still that's coming down
from Canada that we got to get a handle on.
Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
Sure, and then stuff and some vandalism and a whole
separate thing. There's some some vandals around to correct trumps now.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
At the at the same time, Thorny, your sister is
about to get married too farther here, and like you,
you don't want that happening.
Speaker 20 (01:15:23):
And so I'm doing everything I can to stop. But
it's basically like Meet the Parents, Meet super.
Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
Troopers, right, So yeah, there are there are two storylines
going on at the same time. Here I'm trying to
get to the bottom of the drug thing, and at
the same time you're also trying to keep this wedding
from happening. It's right in line I was telling I
was telling these guys, it's right in line with all
the other like if you're what you show listener, it's
totally in line with all of our sense of human Yeah,
we do a segment on the show called Guess Who's Gas.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
So that's exactly what you think.
Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Yeah, it's it's exactly what it's exactly what you think,
you know. But yeah, it's a great it's I thought
it was a lot of fun. It's just a fun movie.
It's a fun movie.
Speaker 4 (01:16:00):
It's a good old fashioned comedy baby.
Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
Exactly American. It's it's it's it's uh, it's a it's America.
Speaker 11 (01:16:07):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
We had you guys in today because I don't know
if you've if you're aware, we have our own special
agent who's out there enforcing the parking lots stability of America.
And it's a it's called card Narks. Yeah, right, right right, yeah,
I don't know if you you might have seen something
about it on on social media. This this just came
from a stupid conversation, you know, on the air about
people who don't return their shopping carts, and it really
(01:16:29):
seemed to hit a nerve with everybody you know where
uh you know people were. It brought people together, like
everybody was kind of like annoyed by these lazy people
who don't return cards to the corral or back to
the front of the store.
Speaker 4 (01:16:42):
I did that last night. I'll tell you what happened.
Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Oh you didn't.
Speaker 20 (01:16:46):
I got home, my wife's like, there's no coffee. So
I'm like, so I had to go out to Gelson's
to get it. And I drive my cart over to
my car and I'm parked all the way on the
edge of the parking lot. And yes, but but the
wheels lock up because it's one of those okay, like listen,
it's it's one in the morning, right, And I'm like,
(01:17:10):
someone else, come get this guy.
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Oh so this is where and the whole time and
here I am the price.
Speaker 7 (01:17:17):
By the way.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
By the way, Jay used that shopping cart for his
one canister of college.
Speaker 4 (01:17:22):
Can I push back though? Can I back?
Speaker 7 (01:17:24):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (01:17:24):
Now, I had a buddy who worked at a grocery
store when I was in high school, and it was
his favorite time to go out and collect the carts.
Speaker 1 (01:17:32):
He would smoke a.
Speaker 9 (01:17:33):
Butte, he would, he would, you know, all right, slack
off a little bit out there.
Speaker 1 (01:17:39):
Collect So okay, let's we'll dress, but we'll dress both
these sort of these case scenaric case uses here. I'm
just you know, I'm just to start with Farber's uh
uh excuse here is that? Hey, and I've heard this before. Hey,
this is a great time. The employees love it, but
they love slacking off, you know, smoking. Jay's exactly now.
If you want to, if you want to trade a
dent in your car for an employe free time, you can.
Speaker 4 (01:18:01):
Make that where the car come from.
Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Oh, because when they dumped the carts, you don't necessarily
you don't necessarily the cart's loose like, it's not it's
not correct. I've seen thousands of these. It could be
on an angle, there could be wind or forget the
dent in the car. Maybe they're just dumping it next
to a next to a spots. When the next person
pulls in, they can't open the rear door. They're done.
Little kid who can't see over the window still opens
the door into the cart.
Speaker 4 (01:18:26):
I never thought of you.
Speaker 9 (01:18:30):
With a straight cart I'm a survivor, thank you. I'm
just saying I do return my card all the time.
I'm just saying I've been.
Speaker 1 (01:18:36):
Told guys, like again the firms Deputy Farber's excuse here,
you know that that's all well and good, but it's
nice outside. But when it's one hundred and fifteen or
when it's negative ten, oh, then then it's not so
convenient to go outside. And yeah, and back to Jay's
by the way, not to interrupt you, but to interrupt
you first of all, well done, and just shutting him up.
(01:19:01):
You guys, you guys play dumb excuse. You've heard the excuses.
Speaker 14 (01:19:04):
Yeah, but it's yeah, yeah, But also this is good
for super troopers. For like, Farva is clearly not a
shopping cart car.
Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
Farva would never return a shopping car, but does Yeah,
Farva would roll the cart even farther, maybe turn on
its side. Yeah, traffic. But to Jay j Red does
raise an actual valid point is and we give exceptions
in the cart and arcs for because what what he's
talking about is that they have anti theft locks on
the wheels. There's a line, you can see it. It's
(01:19:33):
like a little like like thin putty on the edge
of the shopping the parking lot. And let's say you're
loading the rear of your car and you might you
might accidentally trip that line that locks the wheel up,
and then you got to like either pop it up
on one wheel or return it or drag it. And
so we do give exceptions for cart wheels that are
locked because the locked wheel does it gets rid of
the rolling cart problem number one, that car's not learn anywhere.
(01:19:53):
So I thousands of times literally have to help people
drag those carts. I'm so stupid.
Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
I understand how that works.
Speaker 1 (01:19:58):
So it's a wheel lock.
Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Oh yeah, yeah, because there's like there's no I'm saying,
but I know there's the lock on the but like
on the cart itself, there's no like a battery or whatever. Right,
it's just there.
Speaker 1 (01:20:10):
It is. There's a battery. There is a battery, and
it's it's over engineer history. So yeah, you can look
this up. There's a little and I just assume there
was no you have batteries and all these cards. You
can hear it. Like if you ever see if you
ever followed the car attendants around, it's I do often
they got the little unlocked and you can hear them
where they pressed the button. You hear little, a little,
a little lock in there, and then that's that. That
that strip that goes around the parking lot has a
(01:20:31):
radio as a specific radio frequency which you can emulate
on your phone to unlock these things. Actually, dude, are
you a virgin? My first and last lost? The carts
come second, third, fifth or whatever? Car number one eventually eventually.
Speaker 4 (01:20:50):
Or does it?
Speaker 14 (01:20:50):
Does this wrap work in bars with the ladies? Like
there is there one like cart and Arc groupie out there?
Oh there are, ye, yeah, there are as.
Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
Much as we love to bag on this guy, like
he does have a legion of fans like this cart
Narks thing. It started as a silly bit on this show, sure,
and it really has taken on a whole life of
its own, over a million you know, followers on its
nerd so people dig it. Also, the confrontations that end
up happening with the agent of the cart Narks agents
a Bastian. It's explosive, as you guys will hear, because
(01:21:22):
we're gonna have the agents of the super Troopers with
the agents.
Speaker 1 (01:21:25):
Of the cart Narks kind of come together day, right,
If that's some special I've got some special case uses
that involved police officers. Actually, okay, you guys may people
trying but to talk to Steve Deputy mac here. Uh,
there's there was a slang war. We call him cart
c words and we can't say it on the air. Yeah, okay, okay,
like they have like they have a badge bunnies in
your case, but so that they call themselves like the
(01:21:51):
hey b chase. You know, it's a term of endearment,
right right, self deprecations.
Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
I mean there's more than one.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
Super Troopers three in theaters August seventh, Yes, super Troopers three.
Can't wait to see it next Friday. That's from the
seven to one to four texting over. We have the
guys here, and we're gonna do a round of cart
Narcs with Agent Sebastian. Oh all right, so we got
the guys from Broken Lizard here, we have the super
(01:22:22):
Troopers I Studio. You guys, we got Thorny Rod mac
We got the Trooper Carl Foster. How fun is it
to make a movie like that? Because I'm watching this
and it just seems like and we were talking off
the air, but you guys have known each other for
so long. Is it just like it's just breaking balls
all day long.
Speaker 20 (01:22:38):
I mean, we write these jokes off in bars and
you know, we just come up, meet people and funny
things happen, and then we put them into the script
and then we kind of try to craft that exact
best version of that joke with proper lighting and sound.
Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
And then.
Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
And then get a studio to give you money for
that's right, you know, and they keep doing it. Yeah,
It's like we had that every once in a while
we have that realization, like, dude, this is our job
we're getting we're getting paid for this. This is pretty uh,
this is this is pretty crazy. What's the background though,
is like, because I know you of the improv right right,
the guys were a sketch group, right, Yeah, we went
to college together.
Speaker 9 (01:23:16):
We went to Colgate University in upstate New York, and
Jay had some background in Chicago improv and uh so
you know, somebody offered the chance to do a show
there and he put together a group of people he
thought was funny that was us and uh then there's
like fifteen of us or whatever, and uh, we just
started doing shows on the campus, sketch shows more than
(01:23:36):
improv because we weren't.
Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
Really we tried improv it weren't very good at it.
That's a that's a specific set, a set of skills.
Speaker 4 (01:23:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
Well, if you look at like, this happens a lot
like the Unpractical Jokers, guys basically did that sort of
same thing. Yeah, they're doing more, you know, reality comedy.
You guys are doing more obviously scripted stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:23:52):
Yeah like that.
Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
That can work where you just meet some guys you
gel with or girls or whatever, and twenty five years later.
Speaker 4 (01:23:56):
Yeah, it's Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:23:57):
We moved to New York after college and we kept
doing shows and started making little films, and we made
a movie called Puddle Cruiser that went to sun Dance
and that was our calling card and it got us
to Super Troopers.
Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
Yeah, somebody on the text here six oh three dude.
Hell yes, Broken Lizard movies got me through many inebriated nights,
deer fast slamming, salmon club dread were always summer sleepover staples.
Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Yeah, who's the most serious and who's.
Speaker 1 (01:24:22):
The least serious?
Speaker 2 (01:24:23):
Because I mean, you wouldn't think this is serious business,
but at some point there is a business to it,
right like you, Yeah, you do have to answer to,
you know, studios and stuff like that, so you can
do whatever you want if you're doing and things independently.
Speaker 1 (01:24:35):
But like who's the most serious, who's the least serious? Well,
these two are like mom and dad.
Speaker 21 (01:24:40):
Jay's directing and it is really hard to direct while
you're trying to act, and so he has to be
you know, he's You're you're spending so many plates, you're
juggling so many things. Steve and I and Eric who's
not here, then kind of just get to screw around.
Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
And make each other laughs.
Speaker 21 (01:24:57):
Yes, so these two come and get give us notes
and we like, we'll be in the yeah, we'll be
in a in a cruiser, and then one of these
guys will come over and we're like, oh man, we
are getting notes from one of these guys.
Speaker 4 (01:25:11):
You're like, shut up, don't give me notes. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Well, it's a fun movie, man.
Speaker 2 (01:25:16):
Supertroopers three, it's uh we were talking. It's it's the
first uh last super Troopers movie was six years ago,
so uh, it's time in theaters. August seventh. The guys
are here and you're gonna witness some enforcement from our
own right, Agent Sebastian of the cart narcs love it,
and it is narc week here on the Wood Show,
It's Shark week on Discovery. It is narkly, yes, trying
(01:25:37):
to get people do the right thing, don't be lazy,
return those shopping carts to the corral or back to.
Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
The front of the store, and deflect all the excuses.
We already already heard a couple of examples of it
from these guys. Yeah, so now the theme for you guys, specifically,
these are cop encounters. These are people who I find
out are police officers, and I'm not busting cop cars.
These are you know, billion clothing. Now, this first guy, I.
Speaker 2 (01:26:02):
Tell you, guys, tell you guys, you're in your playing clothes,
you know, not in uniform today.
Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
So this first guy, maybe you should have known he
was a cop because he had a glock hoodie on
and a magpole hat, which are gun things for folks
who aren't aware. But he dumped his cart just right
next to the spot next to his car. He's like, whatever,
who cares? And as you'll hear, he first just tries
to give me like the funny, like sarcastic, condescending blowoff.
Will Oh no, you know that's what the cart's go
(01:26:28):
over there.
Speaker 16 (01:26:30):
Oh no, it's all funny. All right, we'll try.
Speaker 1 (01:26:32):
God, I got him.
Speaker 3 (01:26:33):
Guess I don't hope you pay.
Speaker 16 (01:26:36):
Well I didn't. So just a magnet's not a sticker now,
you know, can scratch paint loose carts.
Speaker 3 (01:26:41):
Don't put that on my car.
Speaker 1 (01:26:43):
Tell you what, I won't if you take a dard
back about that, and I'm gonna rush you because I'm
a car. Oh so yeah, the if they Because again
I gave him the opporunity. I gave him attle siren
and he said, oh I have a nice dare ha
ha ha Hey you like like I have some kind
of loser, but from in the parking lot, like I'm
not an authority over here. Yeah, tries to blow me off,
(01:27:04):
so I put the magnets shame and says, I don't
returmber shopping car like a jerk, lazy bones whatever, And
then he pulls rank on me.
Speaker 2 (01:27:09):
He thinks, and again, just a magnet, you're shirt a
kind of car any kind of the damage or.
Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
Anything, Now I am I'm not to be intimidated as
an agent of the cart arcs guys. So I asked him,
just a matter of factly, well if he were to
arrest me? Is he just threatened? What would that entail?
Speaker 16 (01:27:25):
And I'm gonna arrest you because I'm a car now, sir,
what are the charges? Don't touch my sir. You gotta
have a tom what's the reason to arrest me?
Speaker 1 (01:27:34):
Don't you gotta have a charge, sir?
Speaker 12 (01:27:37):
Problem?
Speaker 1 (01:27:38):
My problem is the car to be left out? See
the fake out?
Speaker 7 (01:27:42):
Now do you like?
Speaker 14 (01:27:44):
Are you studying the laws so that you know that
he can't He's got nothing on you. Oh, you can't
attach it like you can attach a magnet to somebody's car.
Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
Right, as long as if anything knows more about the law,
you or the super truth when it comes to cart
law to me, obviously, cart law's like law the lambs
the grocery store.
Speaker 4 (01:28:03):
You're out there.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
Well, no, I don't want to give any I want
to be fully uh you know, impromptu. I don't want
the I don't want the employees calling their buddies and saying, hey,
you know, comes crew with the carton ark. He's coming
to my place. Uh that but that being said, Uh,
they're they're glad I'm there. I've been kicked out of
a couple of lots. I'm not gonna lie, that's you know.
Speaker 9 (01:28:20):
But except for those kids who are smoking joints.
Speaker 1 (01:28:22):
Yeah, yeah, taking their free time. But no, it's I
want people to behave naturally in the wild. This is
fully authentic in that in that respect, Jay, but it's
just ask your question. Yeah, like like he says, well,
you might just scratch my paint. Well, no, the magnets
are clean. It's only on there for a minute or two.
That's in modern clear coats. That's not gonna be a
problem whatsoever.
Speaker 5 (01:28:41):
And these were very civilian excuses. Yes, we hear these
all the time, right right right exactly now. At the
end of that clip you heard, I said, I'm going
to give him a fake out. So he's already come out,
he's already stoped his car, gotten out, threatened me once
or once here. I then take the magnet and I
pretend like I'm putting it in a place where he
can't see it, but I don't really put it on there.
Speaker 2 (01:28:59):
It's not really there.
Speaker 1 (01:28:59):
So get some to move. Yeah, so I just testing
it again. Yeah, and now how he's getting out for
nothing like a stupid idiot and it's been faked out.
So that's fake out really, No, not really, it was
a trick.
Speaker 16 (01:29:11):
It was a fake out. Now, will you take your
car back?
Speaker 6 (01:29:14):
Please?
Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Why not?
Speaker 16 (01:29:16):
I've asked you nicely though, and then you laughed in
my face. But I was asking nicely first that you
laughed in my face. I'm a nice guy. Actually, I'm
helping you out here.
Speaker 1 (01:29:28):
Double fake.
Speaker 16 (01:29:28):
I didn't work full of once, shame on him, full
him twice, didn't actually full on that second time?
Speaker 2 (01:29:34):
All right, now, So it didn't work on that one.
You can't win them all, can't get to people to
see the wrongs otherways.
Speaker 7 (01:29:39):
Has the child of divorce.
Speaker 21 (01:29:40):
This whole thing makes me very uncomfortable.
Speaker 14 (01:29:46):
It's okay, well because you know, because because he's the
guy is just digging his heels in now, this is like,
it's an unhealthy marital argument.
Speaker 1 (01:29:53):
I don't you're not. I'm not gonna be wrong exactly.
Speaker 16 (01:29:56):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:29:56):
Well, that's that's the cart Narks has inadvertently uncovered so
much about in psychology, about about ego and admitting hay,
because this could have been over at the beginning. He said,
he said, hey, my bad, And if he'd even ask
me to take it back, I would have like, hey,
my bad, I'm sorry. I was being lazy? Would you
mind taking that for me?
Speaker 2 (01:30:10):
I surprised you could just catch it when it aired,
But Doctor Phil legitimately did an entire episode about cart
narks on his show and kind of dug into that
whole like psychology, brought his mom on the.
Speaker 14 (01:30:21):
Show because you know, my suggestion is, you know, if
you were like, can I just can we have an
honest conversation about something, and approached with a wholesome manner
that was very non threatening, they might actually take the
cartoon telling whoop is threatening?
Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
Sir?
Speaker 7 (01:30:39):
Yeah, Steve's in therapy.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
I could do the pussy angle. I'm sure that might.
But again, I'm not yelling, I'm not threatening, I'm not screaming.
I'm just kind of politely pointing. Hey, would you you
know that they asked you to take it back? You
said you take it back?
Speaker 17 (01:30:56):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:30:56):
Absolutely, they if they now now there's a difference between
tone that they and they say, hey take that back
for me, bitch, Like that's different than would you mind
taking that back for you?
Speaker 11 (01:31:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:31:04):
Yeah, so I've had both responses.
Speaker 6 (01:31:05):
For sure, it's society, no matter what, even the tone,
they don't want to be told what to do.
Speaker 4 (01:31:09):
Sure, nobody. Wait, I thought, bitch and c where were
in terms of endearment in your.
Speaker 2 (01:31:14):
Yeah, you got to in the community already. It's an
in group thing. The the super troopers are here and
we're doing around them. What he showed cart narks that
his narc week and there's another person not bringing their
cart back. Yeah, and this guy he didn't explicitly tell
me he's a cop.
Speaker 1 (01:31:29):
This was out in Long Island. So you're gonna hear
a different agent. You're gonna hear Agent Vinny Carterini. He's
got the the local accent. But this guy everything about
him with between the sunglasses, the haircut, the big beefy guy.
Speaker 21 (01:31:44):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
We We found out later that he was indeed off duty.
But again, same deal. He's parked way out, leaves his
cart just loose, and Agent Vinny Carterini asks him politely
to take it back. All right, hold on there we go,
Oh what's this on?
Speaker 13 (01:31:59):
Right?
Speaker 16 (01:32:00):
A little spot there, Try to ask you to be
a good guy, be a sweetheart and take your cat
back to that because.
Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
You know where it goes. Right. Oh, come on, now,
you're playing you're playing you you are playing games.
Speaker 3 (01:32:12):
Walk away from right now.
Speaker 16 (01:32:14):
I'm asking you polite, Lisa, and I'm saying I will
as soon as you take your caught back politely. The
store is not responsible if the cod damage is another
person's cat, right, but you'll be gone by that.
Speaker 4 (01:32:26):
I'm not you.
Speaker 1 (01:32:29):
Who's who's being scared threat.
Speaker 2 (01:32:35):
This guy sounds like a guy who might not the
law like enough enough to know to say I feel threatened.
He's kind of I said the words I feel threatened.
So whatever happens after that, he can then.
Speaker 1 (01:32:44):
Try to just for sure smart he might be a lawyer,
or he's oh, you know, he's building a case. He's
building a cop case. Yeah, big guy, bigger than any
of us in this room.
Speaker 21 (01:32:53):
That's also mental gymnastics. That's like I I put myself
in the victim role, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
And you're exactly correct if he now if he'd started
out that way, and maybe he could have gotten away
with it. But you heard him initially he's like, yeah,
I don't know, I don't know where the cars go.
Ha ha, you know, because he tried to give me,
like again the blowoff with classic you know, alpha cop tactic. Right,
But then then he knows, well, I got to build
a case so I can charge this guy with something. Uh,
so that continues as he builds that case. Do you
(01:33:21):
alling walk away?
Speaker 16 (01:33:22):
Are you allying walk away?
Speaker 1 (01:33:25):
No, you're not.
Speaker 4 (01:33:28):
In your hand?
Speaker 12 (01:33:29):
Does walk away light one?
Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
So? Would you like to touch it? So you are
lying to try to build a case?
Speaker 4 (01:33:34):
You walk away?
Speaker 16 (01:33:36):
If you're threatened that, how come you're approaching mery to.
Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
Get my call?
Speaker 1 (01:33:39):
So? No, you're in your car.
Speaker 16 (01:33:41):
If you're a lying through your teeth, try to build
a case instead of taking.
Speaker 4 (01:33:44):
Your cord back?
Speaker 3 (01:33:46):
Walk away?
Speaker 16 (01:33:46):
I mean, you know harm I promise you this.
Speaker 1 (01:33:48):
I will never touch your body.
Speaker 16 (01:33:50):
I will never take anything from you.
Speaker 1 (01:33:52):
So will you take your card back? Now?
Speaker 3 (01:33:54):
Why not want to?
Speaker 4 (01:33:57):
Finally, I don't want to?
Speaker 1 (01:33:59):
So you got my other minds is on the case?
Speaker 5 (01:34:01):
There they all turned into patulant children one of them.
Speaker 1 (01:34:04):
Yeah, well the big badass guy I don't want to.
And again, this happens in so many cart Knocks videos.
You're scaring me as he's like walking me down, like
trying to put the bow up on me.
Speaker 2 (01:34:13):
You know, I mean you are very intimidating with those
glasses in the vest, all those muscles exactly.
Speaker 13 (01:34:19):
So, so.
Speaker 2 (01:34:22):
Guys, you guys should see him run I don't know
what they did the Super Trooper Academy, Like what kind
of stuff they had.
Speaker 1 (01:34:27):
All challenging you to push like cop tests, like hey,
come do pete with us and stuff? Yeah, it used
to be Yeah, but.
Speaker 14 (01:34:33):
We got We got chased through Madison or no, Nashville.
We got chased in a pickup truck by two women.
Speaker 4 (01:34:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:34:41):
Yeah, and we were hiding like we were running through
the pushes hit in the bush. Why were they after you?
Speaker 4 (01:34:46):
What do you think.
Speaker 1 (01:34:49):
You hadn't put your cards back that we were there
a whole foods being irresponsible citizens? Know?
Speaker 14 (01:34:57):
But they did they they they chased us, and they
were screaming at us and chased us in the pickup
trucks they ran.
Speaker 1 (01:35:03):
They wanted a piece of a piece of action.
Speaker 4 (01:35:06):
I really did.
Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
We literally hidden bushes, yeah, in an apartment building to
get away from That's how.
Speaker 4 (01:35:13):
Good we are now.
Speaker 1 (01:35:14):
Has there ever been somebody that you were genuinely afraid
to approach that? I mean, there's death like this guy
that got definitely guys that are bigger than me. But
I'll give you a specific example. We've never played any
audio from this because this was in Oklahoma City. A
guy was very prominently open carrying. He had a big
old silver shiny one strapped to his hip. Okay, and
(01:35:34):
had two mags in the back of his Stay away
from that guy, and he left his card out. I
was in like the Costco and outside Oklahoma City. Yeah,
And I said, you know what, this guy is just
looking for an excuse. He oh, yeah, he's open carried.
Don't be carrying the Costco with his wife. And he's
you know, fifty five whatever, big truck. And I said,
you know what, not worth it today today. So back
(01:35:58):
to our buddy here in Long Island. Uh, he's so
he's doing the hole like I'm scared, which is falling
apart because he just said I don't want to return
my cart, So he tries a new angle. Exactly. That's
the problem with America.
Speaker 16 (01:36:09):
You lied said you felt threatened when I'm the sweetest,
most lovable cuddle bug you ever heard in your life.
Speaker 3 (01:36:14):
I feel if they try to stop my car, You're
gonna jump in. No, I will.
Speaker 16 (01:36:18):
Okay, you can get your car if you like it.
I'm getting you are lying, sir. Why that is not
a weapon, it's all Would you like it? You can
tell you can have it. You can have this.
Speaker 3 (01:36:29):
What the do you understand?
Speaker 7 (01:36:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:36:31):
Oh boy.
Speaker 2 (01:36:32):
The one thing he's caring is like what they used
to like wave planes into the cat you know what
I mean. It's just basically a pointer outside of the concert.
You get this little orange thing parking attendant kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
Let's see, that's the thing. He's a cop, so he knows.
I have to say there's a weapon involved. I have
to say I feel threatened. Sure, I have to say
that inside my car you're gonna jump in and car
jack me somehow. Uh So, I don't know as fake
cops is this? Does it hold any water with you guys?
Speaker 4 (01:36:55):
I don't know, is it? Are you sure this guy's
a cop?
Speaker 1 (01:36:57):
Oh wait? I never docks people in my videos, but
I've got reports after that fact, like, oh I know
people people see these videos where they every video has
this guy's Levittown, Long Island.
Speaker 2 (01:37:07):
So dude, I saw you on cart narcs.
Speaker 4 (01:37:11):
He doesn't have to sign a release.
Speaker 1 (01:37:13):
Well, no, it's it's the first you are in public.
You are to know it's a It's it's like it's
like doing it's basically a TV news reporting thing.
Speaker 14 (01:37:20):
Essentially expectation of privacy he wavers between logic and then
being out of control, like the you know, I feel threatened,
I feel scared.
Speaker 1 (01:37:27):
Very logical. Yeah, but then he loses his mind and
then he well, look, you guys are Thespians are actors.
I mentioned this the other day, like not Thestians speak
for yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:37:40):
I tried it a little in college.
Speaker 2 (01:37:41):
But but like this is what college.
Speaker 1 (01:37:44):
You have different tactics when you're trying to get something
out of somebody. You're working with pity, angered, you know, fear,
et cetera. All right, So finally, as you he's mad
at me because I keep putting the maggot on. Uh,
and then he just decides to chase me down within
and throw the card at me. Oh wow, man, I
keep dealing with the button. Hold on, here we go.
Speaker 16 (01:38:02):
I'm gonna apply my lazybones bump a magnet.
Speaker 3 (01:38:06):
Well, sir, my car just tell you not going here?
Speaker 2 (01:38:10):
My car?
Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
I told you, what is your problem?
Speaker 16 (01:38:12):
All right?
Speaker 1 (01:38:13):
There's my problem?
Speaker 16 (01:38:15):
This cause my problem?
Speaker 4 (01:38:17):
Turn for what?
Speaker 1 (01:38:21):
What's what could have happened if I wasn't hitter heroically
rescue this? You got your car down? What does that
sign say?
Speaker 16 (01:38:28):
Please return cars here?
Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
How far?
Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
Who I placed it.
Speaker 16 (01:38:34):
Face it.
Speaker 1 (01:38:35):
I told you a thousand times. Do you lie like
this all the time?
Speaker 3 (01:38:38):
Are you a liar?
Speaker 16 (01:38:39):
Bones? Is that what you are?
Speaker 1 (01:38:40):
You kind of read it out?
Speaker 7 (01:38:42):
See you know what you should do.
Speaker 1 (01:38:44):
I'm listening when he's chasing you, you should be running
towards the shopping cart return slot. This is exactly what happened,
by the way he shoves you here, that he shoves
it at me, and it just so happened. I'm walking
like I'm backing it up and I'm pointing to the
sign says please return cards here. It lands did at
the cart?
Speaker 7 (01:39:01):
Boom, there we go?
Speaker 1 (01:39:04):
And then did you did you laugh in his face?
Speaker 13 (01:39:06):
Like?
Speaker 7 (01:39:06):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (01:39:08):
I try to be.
Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
I try to be you know, civil never cuss into
that nature. But that's the thing with the internet. Everyone
else can laugh in this man's face for the end
of time. Now, so sure we'll see.
Speaker 13 (01:39:17):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:39:17):
You know, guys, ever decided to retire from the police force,
maybe you can decide to join up with the cartnarks.
Speaker 7 (01:39:23):
Well, I would.
Speaker 1 (01:39:24):
I would like to say, you know you were like
who knows more about the law.
Speaker 14 (01:39:28):
Kevin Heffernan, who plays Rod Farvat, is actually a lawyer
who has passed the bar into states that is some
broken lizard trivia right there.
Speaker 1 (01:39:36):
Yeah, true, but I don't know what my rights here
and specialized shopping parking, I don't know my right.
Speaker 5 (01:39:42):
But if you guys got together, you'd be unstoppable.
Speaker 1 (01:39:45):
Well that's that's cart.
Speaker 2 (01:39:47):
Another another explosive edition of the cartnarks. Thank you Agent
Sebastian and the other death in agency the consultation.
Speaker 1 (01:39:55):
Glad we would help the super trippers coming up.
Speaker 16 (01:39:58):
And I'm going to apply my lady bones bump a magnet.
Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
Well, sir, my car, don't just tell you not to
go near my car?
Speaker 1 (01:40:07):
I told you, what is your problem? All right? There's
my problem?
Speaker 16 (01:40:11):
This cause my problem for what.
Speaker 1 (01:40:17):
What's it could have happen if I was a hitter
heroically rescue this? You let your car down? What is that?
What does that sign of say? Please return cards here?
How far.
Speaker 3 (01:40:29):
I placed it?
Speaker 1 (01:40:31):
I told you a thousand times. Do you lie like
this all the time? Are you a liah bones?
Speaker 16 (01:40:35):
Is that what you are?
Speaker 2 (01:40:36):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (01:40:37):
Caderini.
Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
I can barely remember to open my mouth when I'm
eating like you think I'm gonna remember to bring a
canvas bags to go.
Speaker 3 (01:40:44):
I don't think you're gonna remember it.
Speaker 2 (01:40:45):
Something shoe and thanks people love cart and Arks and
Agent Sebastian and the Supertroopers. Broken, those guys are here.
Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
Supertroopers three in theaters August.
Speaker 2 (01:40:56):
The seventh, and a lot of love on the text,
a lot of people for all different things, man, because
you guys have done so many different things, not just Supertroopers.
But it says if you can't have a full on
conversation with somebody completely in super Troopers quotes, then you'd
be taken out back and beaten with a hope. That's
from the five O three. This one from the three
two one. I'm a Vermonter as I hate saying that Vermonter. Yeah,
(01:41:20):
I guess yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:41:21):
And I get a kick out of the super Troopers movies.
Speaker 2 (01:41:24):
Uh nine oh nine says opening scene from the first Supertroopers.
The guy with the mutton chops was a tenant of mine.
I was like, where do I know you? And then
it hit me, Supertroopers. I'm so glad the Supertroopers are on.
I've loved Steve since the first movie. And then this
one three to one oh says the most crazy Broken
(01:41:45):
lizard coincidence. Halloween two thousand and eight, I dressed up
as a character in beer Fest. I went out and
I partied. Then I came back to my house, heard
a random party still going on nearby, stumbled into it
and walked in. Turned out to be the German guy
from beer Fest I was dressed as.
Speaker 1 (01:42:02):
What a coincidence.
Speaker 2 (01:42:04):
Yeah, a lot of people like you know, asking about
different things, whether it's like, you know, is it gonna
be anything more with beer Fest or Tacoma FD we're
talking about that a little bit off the air.
Speaker 1 (01:42:13):
I mean, yeah, ideas come up, or it's like every
time we make.
Speaker 20 (01:42:17):
A new movie, there's this group of people online who
get really angry and said this should be potfast, and uh,
we kind of taunt them a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:42:28):
Dude smoke joints.
Speaker 7 (01:42:30):
But I think we probably will make that movie.
Speaker 4 (01:42:33):
I think we probably will. Just could just be taunting
you right now, but I really do think we'll make it.
Speaker 1 (01:42:39):
Well, we've we've doubled down there.
Speaker 14 (01:42:41):
You say you saw Super Troopers three last night, right, Yeah,
there's a similar type of teaser at the end of it.
Speaker 7 (01:42:46):
Yeah, so we're just inviting.
Speaker 1 (01:42:47):
More of this punishment on our we learned.
Speaker 20 (01:42:50):
It's sort of like cart and arcs if you get
if you get mad at us and go you want
to make them way.
Speaker 4 (01:42:54):
We're like, yeah, we're not gone to that.
Speaker 1 (01:42:56):
We don't feel like it.
Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
Yeah, there can be something, I know, personality, There could
be something that I was actually considering doing, but the
fact that you.
Speaker 1 (01:43:03):
Want me to do it so bad now I'm like,
not get it. Well, they do very specific things like
we're talking about. They do top stuff, fireman stuff, beer stuff,
so it's not like just generic like family comedy stuff.
So you're all, I'm sure you get those those communities
super interested invested in you.
Speaker 14 (01:43:17):
Yeah, but it just you know, and going back to
the psychology, I'm remembering like when we were starting out
in New York City doing.
Speaker 1 (01:43:22):
Sketch comedy in the village. We would have a show
coming up the next day and Kevin would say to
to Jay and me like when we're like, oh, we
might go out and have a beer or something, Kevin
and be like, well.
Speaker 14 (01:43:34):
Remember we have a show tomorrow, so don't go too hard.
And we're like, well, now we're gonna get blacked out drunk.
Speaker 2 (01:43:43):
Well, the screenings, how they've been going on and we
were talking about going to uh, you guys want to
comic condis and screens down there. I mean, because I'm
in a position where it's like I've seen the movie
and I would love to talk about a number of
different things, but like I don't want to like blow
up your spot.
Speaker 1 (01:43:56):
And really, you see the crowd.
Speaker 4 (01:43:57):
Though you didn't.
Speaker 15 (01:43:58):
I did not.
Speaker 2 (01:43:58):
I did not see it'd be fun. It would be
a really fun movie obviously with the crowdsordes in theaters.
Speaker 9 (01:44:02):
Go see it there, Like the other night, weigh three
hundred people in the theater and it would blast because
it's like, you know, they don't put the movies like
that in the movie theaters anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:44:09):
We don't go.
Speaker 9 (01:44:10):
We used to go watch movies like that and laugh
with three hundred people in a room, and people don't
do that anymore.
Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
And it really is. It's one of those things like
even if you're watching that's how guys like me got
it into Super Troopers one is. It came out on
DVD and right it was a cult and then became
a cult hit because me and my all my friends
would get drunk watch it.
Speaker 4 (01:44:25):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:44:25):
It's like the text is saying recite the lines back
to each other. I was telling these guys I went
to a screening of beer Fest where they gave us
free beer, and it was the best movie screening I've
ever seen my entire life, because everybody was laughing, drinking.
It's it's it's a party. The stuff these guys makes
a party type of atmosphere movie. Yeah, and make it.
Speaker 14 (01:44:44):
Making that movie was funny too, because like, you know,
it's we're drinking. You know, a lot of times we're
drinking fake beer. Sometimes we're drinking real beer.
Speaker 1 (01:44:51):
But like after a while, the seal would break and
every after every take, you know, Jay would call cut
and then like cast and crew would all meet in
the back throom and everyone being together. It's just it's
a party.
Speaker 2 (01:45:03):
Oh you were you were talking about like uh, you
know they talk about like practical effects or you know,
just kind of the fake stuff, like when it comes.
Speaker 1 (01:45:09):
To like the there's there's this again. These guys are
so good at making like like the mention of the text,
these memorable scenes, memorable quotes, and in the first Super
Troopers where Lieutenant Farva is barfing at because he's like
I'm gonna get hammer blah, blah blah. That was that's
that was real barf right.
Speaker 9 (01:45:25):
Yeah, yeah, it was a thing where we wanted to
you know, you get annoyed you see someone puke on
on screening and be like a little peace super mean,
it's just.
Speaker 4 (01:45:32):
Like, let's do it for real.
Speaker 20 (01:45:36):
Well, we were, we were really good at puking back then,
and we wanted it to for those who were also good.
We wanted them to be like, that's the connoisseurs of puke.
Speaker 2 (01:45:46):
Spoiler, there are there are some puke in the three
there is.
Speaker 9 (01:45:50):
That was that real different future absolutely yeah, method acting.
Speaker 14 (01:45:55):
A respectable amount, but the Super Troopers one is the
most impressive thing because he's clearly suffering as he's doing it.
Speaker 4 (01:46:05):
It's real.
Speaker 7 (01:46:06):
It's real.
Speaker 1 (01:46:06):
Yeah, it's real, and it's technicolor.
Speaker 7 (01:46:08):
He requested.
Speaker 14 (01:46:09):
He requested bowls of the most colorful stuff from Craft
Service gummy gummies, and Eminem'll.
Speaker 4 (01:46:16):
Try to make it, you know, colorful, beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:46:18):
Well, it's a it's a fun movie.
Speaker 2 (01:46:20):
I saw it by myself and yes, with a group
of people like watching it in that kind of community experience,
It's it's gonna be a blast. Super Troopers three in
theaters August seven, anything else about the movie that you
want to share, because again, I feel like I can't
talk about a couple of things without ruining it so badly.
Wanted to talk about a couple of things.
Speaker 9 (01:46:39):
But you want to see farther make love. I mean,
I think that's the way you do is Yeah, and
some some funny Indian stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:46:47):
Yea Bollywood dance number.
Speaker 4 (01:46:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:46:51):
Well, because again the whole thing is two different stories
going at the same time. We're trying to stop a
wedding at the same time stop a drug ring there
in town. Guys that thank you so much for coming in.
Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
Thank you, guys. Go see Sedge Gropers three against in
theaters August seventh. It is The Woody show'll be right back.

to gayest drink a Mexican man can drink? The question
we got from that woman at at Fluffy's birthday party.
Birthday party, what was it? Some of the feedback on
(01:49:11):
the text and spicy marks are pretty gay and basic.
But you ungay it by eating the helopano. Yeah, yeah,
I don't know you ungay a drink. We were getting
some votes for screwdrivers. Mezcal is amazing. I like the
campfire reference, but I've always said it tastes like a
(01:49:32):
sharpie smells we were talking about because we were talking
tequila and yeah, I said, I don't like the smoky ones.
Speaker 6 (01:49:40):
Yeah, oh dude, on that tequila tip. There was one
thing that I think we kind of whiffed on and
we just forgot about it. No, I just totally forgot
about when it became what was the most white person tequila?
Speaker 3 (01:49:52):
The super o G.
Speaker 2 (01:49:55):
Tequila up on that slept on the other feedbacks and
the rocks tequila or garbage.
Speaker 1 (01:50:06):
Oh here.
Speaker 2 (01:50:07):
I wanted to know what you thought about this because
I have had many of these with my heterosexual life
partner Tim here as we would have somebody said the
Gayest Drink by far As Palomas.
Speaker 1 (01:50:17):
I disagree. Refresh, I disagree. I I love a great boloma.
You know you're the one who introduced actually at my house.
I mean, one of the first things I always offer
is a ploma.
Speaker 2 (01:50:28):
I think I do a little clay podcast class.
Speaker 4 (01:50:31):
Refresh Pine.
Speaker 1 (01:50:33):
No, no, it's tequila, it's squirt. I put a little
bit of orange peel in there. You put lime in there?

Speaker 2 (01:50:50):

Speaker 4 (01:50:55):
How dare you?

Fabric sauce. Yes, really, Oh yeah, menace. What were you
having such a hard time spelling.

Speaker 2 (01:52:50):
A E and then it looks like another E and

Speaker 8 (01:54:01):
Tim, my man slash baby Daddy is in jail for
the next five years. Do I have a green life
to hook up and date other people?
Speaker 13 (01:54:10):

Speaker 2 (01:54:12):

take guests of him. Can we can discuss?
Speaker 1 (01:54:16):

don't put that on me.
Speaker 2 (01:54:18):
Man, Man, well, Tim, what do you what do you say?
Speaker 1 (01:54:20):
I mean, here's what I would say.
Speaker 7 (01:54:22):
Five years.
Speaker 1 (01:54:23):
I think you wait for your man to get out
in five years. Now, if it was five years, is
the cutouf? Well what did you tell him?
Speaker 5 (01:54:32):
We can both see other people.
Speaker 22 (01:54:34):
Now if it's like if it's like fifteen to life,
I'm like, yeah, screw it, man, Like, go find somebody.
Speaker 7 (01:54:40):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (01:54:41):
But oh, five years, like five years ago is pretty
darn quick. I'm thinking stick around, stick around.
Speaker 6 (01:54:48):
Yeah, you want them to stick around. But I think
there's still stuff happening on the low. It's just it's
just not public. It's just not out there and everybody
knows about it.
Speaker 2 (01:54:57):
So would you feel that way you're going away for
let's say you're going away.
Speaker 1 (01:55:01):
For five years. I'm going away for five years.
Speaker 2 (01:55:03):
You're going away for five years. You're cool with her
taking that approach?
Speaker 1 (01:55:08):
Well, remember I said I said she should be wait
for she should wait for.
Speaker 2 (01:55:12):
Me for five years. Five and a half years. You're
going away.
Speaker 1 (01:55:16):
Now we're now, we're now, we're Penny pinching.
Speaker 2 (01:55:20):
What's what I'm guessing for Tim is Tim. I would
think that Tim would really want her just to wait
however long it is, like, unless.
Speaker 4 (01:55:29):
It's head or whatever whatever I mean, I would like.
Speaker 1 (01:55:31):
Because there's a chance he gets out for good behavior,
because he's a good boy.
Speaker 7 (01:55:34):
Well that's what I was just going to say.
Speaker 8 (01:55:36):
If it's county jail, five years equals two and a half,
so he'll be home a lot sooner. So I would say,
try to stay true to your man if you can. Yeah,
but listen, you know, if you get a horny man,
just do it on the low, like minister. Yeah, I agree,
I mean it on the low and not with any
of his friends.
Speaker 7 (01:55:52):
Yeah, say something.
Speaker 1 (01:55:54):
It can't be out there.
Speaker 4 (01:55:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:55:57):
All right, Well there you go.
Speaker 2 (01:55:58):
There those are You should have left the fun one
for the second, you know, lead with the heavy and
then cleaned up with fabulosa the way to go.
Speaker 1 (01:56:09):
All right.
Speaker 2 (01:56:09):
If you got a question for a future round of
T O Tim, you can send us your question on
the text over to two two nine eight seven, or
like I mentioned.
Speaker 1 (01:56:16):
Just d us with an email email at the woodieshow
dot com. We'll take a quick break.
Speaker 2 (01:56:21):
We'll come back and then we're gonna go up in
the clurb here on this throwback Thursday that is next.
Speaker 1 (01:56:26):
Hang on, I'm with Woody on this.
Speaker 12 (01:56:29):
It's very strange that it's not good at all.
Speaker 5 (01:56:30):
Oh God finished, its a sour after Oh my God,
tastes like cold grease.
Speaker 19 (01:56:42):
Show.
Speaker 1 (01:56:44):
Well, here's another example of what a dumb world.
Speaker 2 (01:56:48):
We live and nothing, nothing makes sense. This dude, he's
a small business owner. His company sells razors and shaving
supplies and crap like that. So you know, the weights
of the packages that he's sending out to the customers
pretty low, and he found a loophole to help with
his shipping costs. Because you do everything you can to
(01:57:09):
keep the shipping costs as low as you can, you
want to have to pass that along to the customer.
I know we had that, man. That was the biggest
issue with this Woodie Show merch store.
Speaker 1 (01:57:19):
Is that you know, we kept things.
Speaker 2 (01:57:21):
We're not making any money on that, right but for
whatever reason, and we're still trying to figure that part out.
Like the cost of sending out if somebody orders like
a Woody Show hoodie, the shipping on it was like
nineteen dollars. It was like, wait, what, that's not possible
really or shouldn't be possible.
Speaker 4 (01:57:38):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (01:57:39):
So we have DJ Tim Martinez. He's he's been working
on a couple of different Yeah, so there's different ways
we could do it, just like we'd have to maybe
have somebody else, you know, handle things.
Speaker 4 (01:57:48):
Dude.
Speaker 5 (01:57:48):
It's that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:57:49):
It's been it's been a thing, dude, it's been a
thing since we've started.
Speaker 7 (01:57:56):
We're done.
Speaker 6 (01:57:56):
We use the building mailing system and we like we
would print out like all the stickers and we use
like the whole budget for the building, like within a
week for the month.
Speaker 1 (01:58:08):
Well, jokes on us. They stopped giving us that service.
Here are years and years. Yeah, they stopped paying for
that long time ago.
Speaker 3 (01:58:13):
Anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:58:14):
So this guy, small business owner razors and shaving supplies.
He's sending these things out and so we found a
loophole to help with the shipping costs.
Speaker 4 (01:58:20):
Listen to this.
Speaker 10 (01:58:21):
This is a thirteen point one ounce order going to Colorado.
It costs seven dollars and sixty cents to ship. Now,
let's add some rocks to the order, two pounds. Let
me update my weight over here. It now costs five
ninety seven to ship if you get any free rocks
(01:58:42):
with your order from Margaret Razors.
Speaker 4 (01:58:44):
That's the reason. Yeah.
Speaker 23 (01:58:46):
Wait, just because it's like a round number, it costs
less to ship something heavier than it did for something lighter.
That doesn't make me say what about companies using It's
the USPS.
Speaker 1 (01:58:56):
It's the Postal Service.
Speaker 2 (01:58:59):
Like I said, nothing, nothing makes any sense, like it
went like so, thirteen point one ounces was seven dollars
and sixty cents to ship a couple of small bags
of rocks two pounds, now three ounces, and it goes
down to five ninety seven box. I'm everything, everything's the same. Yeah,
you see in the video he just throws he literally
just throws the rocks into the thing, puts the new
(01:59:19):
number in there, and now it's lower what backwards?
Speaker 1 (01:59:23):
Yeah, this is so weird.
Speaker 15 (01:59:25):
Pirate ship though, if you want to do it yourself,
you can save doing it online there.
Speaker 4 (01:59:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:59:29):
The Postal Service hasn't commented on this yet because they're
they're so oblivious and that's just for you socks and
pennies though, Irish ship.
Speaker 1 (01:59:38):
So yeah, yes, hopefully, uh greg.
Speaker 2 (01:59:41):
A little piece of news for you. Germany is getting
rid of paper checks at the end of twenty twenty seven,
so it's not.
Speaker 12 (01:59:51):
Gonna go there.
Speaker 4 (01:59:51):
Yeah, to pay their credit cards.
Speaker 2 (01:59:53):
Greg is one of the only people I know who
still writes checks for stuff and puts him in envelopes
and puts stamps on them and then mails them out.
Speaker 4 (02:00:00):
I'm only down to three main bills with checks, and
that's credit cards two of them, and then a car payment.
I signed up for auto pay for the mortgage. Yeah,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (02:00:10):
Why couldn't you do to the modern age, Why couldn't
you do that with the I could, but especially the
car paim. The car PEM is the exact same amount.
Speaker 4 (02:00:20):
I sometimes I like to add more to the principal what.
Speaker 1 (02:00:24):
Is gonna get washed in? His whole already has and.
Speaker 4 (02:00:29):
I could.
Speaker 2 (02:00:29):
Okay, Well, then you can set up an automatic payment
and then if you want to change it, there'll be
to the next upcoming payment. You literally just go in
there and just change the amount. I've paid it online before,
but I've never set up the auto pay. Only the
auto pay for the mortgage, or even if it was
an autopay, let's just say, instead of writing the check
out and getting the stamp in the whole thing, you
just logged onto your bank and you did bill pay
and you can just do it individually like one offs.
Speaker 1 (02:00:51):
And not audi business.
Speaker 4 (02:00:53):
I have done that before.
Speaker 2 (02:00:54):
I understand you not wanting a fast food restaurants app. No,
you never doing things that way.
Speaker 4 (02:01:00):
It could be free food if you have the app.
I wouldn't do it.
Speaker 1 (02:01:02):
Yeah, forget.
Speaker 2 (02:01:03):
I can't understand it.
Speaker 4 (02:01:05):
Well, I probably could.
Speaker 7 (02:01:07):
Do you get paper bills or do you do paperless?
Speaker 4 (02:01:11):
That's the thing. I signed up for the mortgage auto
pay thing or enrolled in it, and they still send
me every month the statement that with multi pages an
envelope to send it back and it says already paid.
Do nothing.
Speaker 1 (02:01:24):
That's damn ways.
Speaker 2 (02:01:27):
I still sign up for I want paper billing. Yeah, yeah,
I like to because there's so many emails and stuff
that come through. It gets lost, you know where. If
there's a bill there, I take it and I put
it in the bill pile and that way I can
just go through make sure I still pay it online. Yeah,
but I just make sure that it's paid. It just
wait for me to stay organized with the bills. Now
Australia as well, they are bidding farewell to paper checks
(02:01:49):
by twenty thirty.
Speaker 1 (02:01:51):
So it seems like it's it's creeping across the globe.
Speaker 2 (02:01:53):
Greg soon to come to a country near you.
Speaker 4 (02:01:55):
I'll be ready when it's time, you know. For America.
Speaker 1 (02:01:58):
Australia also got rid of paper a long time ago.
That's crazy when you go there. In some other countries too,
they have basically plastic money. Really yeah, say it's got
like see through portions in its.
Speaker 4 (02:02:08):
Yeah, it's fun.
Speaker 1 (02:02:08):
It's transparent.
Speaker 2 (02:02:12):
Insensitivity draining for a politically correct worlds.
Speaker 1 (02:02:15):
The Woody Show, all well, that's gonna do it for

stuff like look at this shirt I got at Costco.
Speaker 1 (02:03:10):
Yeah, it's awesome. They cool clothes there now.
Speaker 2 (02:03:14):
Man, it's only because somebody on social media decided that
Kirkland was going to be a cool brand.
Speaker 1 (02:03:19):
Totally, there's nothing necessarily cool about it. It's not if
the logos cool or anything else.
Speaker 2 (02:03:24):
Someone just decided and everybody else, just like Sheep, followed
along with it, and Kirkland was gonna be something that
was gonna be cool to wrap. Dude, remember the longest
time champion like this, that was like, dude, you were poor,
you were like, dude, you wouldn't be you wouldn't be
caught dead champion stuff. Then all of a sudden, Champion
(02:03:45):
became really cool and everybody wanted it and everybody wanted
to rock.
Speaker 5 (02:03:48):
That awesome guys clothes. Look, I always get stuff from
my husband there.
Speaker 2 (02:03:52):
I'm not knocking it. I don't care I'll wear anything.
I don't care what anybody thinks about that I'm saying.
But it's funny how out of note people here watch this.
That's why I say sometimes I'm convinced that people go here.
We're just going to do this to watch how everybody reacts,
just to do it, just to see.
Speaker 1 (02:04:06):
If we can get people to do it.
Speaker 4 (02:04:07):
Like the Balenciaga duct tape. Uh, what do you call it? Bracelet?
Speaker 7 (02:04:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:04:11):
Right, like we know this, we know this is so dumb.
Speaker 4 (02:04:15):
Let's watch it up.
Speaker 2 (02:04:17):
Yeah exactly, all right, Thank you very much, Greg Gory,
Thank you so much for giving the show some of
your valuable time this morning. You know we'd love it.
Appreciate you for that. The rest of you guys can
suck it. Catch back here on Friday. Have a great day.
Speaker 1 (02:04:30):
S MD double M. I quit this bitch,
