which yeah, yeah, reptile people are weird people. Yeah right, Yeah.
Today's Love your Bookshop Day.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Bookshop Barnes and Noble.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Okay, no, kidd rules. They got a cobby shop and
they sell and stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I got to look at this place, everything but books
was Yeah, it's boring, right, Yeah. I love the smell
of a Barnes and Noble, any bookstore. I love the
smell of that place.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
There's a reason for it. I looked it up one time,
like why do people love the smell of old books?
And they said, there's something in it that reminds us
of vanilla, and like everybody loves that smell.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
It's not even it's not even the smell of old
books because they're all new books, like the smell of
those brand new books paper.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I love going into bookstores. I love getting books. It's
the reading part, but I buy things with the intention
of reading them. Today's National Financial Awareness Day. That's smart.
It's National tattoo Removal Day.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Cool uh.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
And today's National Creamsicle Day. You guys, huge fan what
creamccles creamcicles? Because you were bitching about what oh fudgetacles, fudgetacles, well,
sugar free fudgetacles because uh, intense pain and diary gas
and diary, but not diaryaction, not diary, just pain.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
M Okay, well you ate what eight of them? Six
of them.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
That's the intention and what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 8 (03:24):
Giving somebody food products shouldn't include Hey, if you eat
it to you'll till you feel full, then we'll give
you intense gas an hour later.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
It's deterrent. We'll from picking out.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
In the new Spotify is going to finally let everybody
know when your new favorite artist doesn't actually exist. Spotify
says listeners have complained about discovering an artist like in
the music and then finding out later that the person
in the pictures is basically an AI character.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Why did you like the music?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
So, starting next month, Spotify will begin putting an AI
persona badge on the profiles where the artist's public identity
is artificially generated.

Speaker 9 (03:58):
Yeah, that's fair.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
The AI artists will automatically be excluded from Spotify's algorithms,
The recommendations, and the policy will specifically be aimed at
fake artist identities pretending to be real people.

Speaker 7 (04:11):
You know what, I'm glad they're doing this because we
always say, what are you going to do it's the
wild wild West.

Speaker 9 (04:14):
Well, Spotify is doing something to get out in front
of it.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
That's what if you tell people like, hey, whatever and
you don't care, you're a person doesn't care, well that
that's fine, But for just to kind of be like
kind of just like sneaking into your algorithm that way.

Speaker 8 (04:27):
Well, it sounds like they're also they're putting their thumb
ups if they're not going to even recommend it, and
it might be something you like that's not fair either.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, but you monetize a robot, I guess you might
be able to the way that you can opt in
or opt out through the options of like okay, I
please exclude all I'm saying about. Like that would be
a way to do it where you could say, oh,
exclude all aif.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
You if you feel that way and you don't want it.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, but they're going to be automatically excluded, which is
what SeaBASS is talking about.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Yeah, and you weren't around or Jeff when I talked
about this. But Spotify is sorry to us up again
saying like there's something wrong with our podcast. So if
it disappears because they have all this technology, Uh to
you know, take out ai. They send me emails every
day saying there's like, oh, there's some like piece of

(05:15):
audio that they don't like, but they won't tell me
what it is.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Yeah, I can fix it. They can't even tell you,
like what episode or.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Yeah, though, no, they'll say this episode is gonna remove it.
So I know what's gonna happen is they're gonna remove
so many episodes. Eventually they're gonna take us off it,
which will Spotify again. They'll say these people are abusing
us somehow. Yeah, and then uh, you know what, that's it, dude,
because last time it was like a whole month of
going back and forth to get us back on Spotify,
and again Spotify won't tell us what the issue is.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
So for folks who don't know, we have it.

Speaker 8 (05:46):
Radio is in a weird place because on the air,
we can play literally anything we want music wise, except
for cussing, which is sort of ironic, I mean, but
on but on the platforms they don't have we don't
have the license on that platform to play certain music, and.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
We're not playing a full ass song.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
It might be like a clip, like half a second
of something that might end up in the podcast. So
I don't know, dude, Spotify suck it. I don't care.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Somebody said on an email recently that like for the
Friday the Friday song, for example, the whole thing is
in there is that left in? Because if that's the case.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
That could be a problem. That's a huge problem.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Yeah, it'd be stupid. If it's the fact the song
we played once a week, that might have been an accident.
But that's yeah, never because somebody hit us up saying, hey,
I heard the whole song on the podcast and that
that could be where your issue is is stepping you know,
this is I get like multiple emails about I'm keep
an eye on it, about twenty different episodes. So some

(06:43):
artwork made using artificial intelligence. One first place in the
Ohio State Fairs poster contest. The winning poster came with
a one thousand dollars prize, which was supposed to celebrate
America's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary and highlight Ohio's history.
But some people notice, you know, common AI mistakes in
the image, like American flags with the wrong number of stars,

(07:05):
you know, stars and stripes, and.

Speaker 9 (07:07):
Yeah, not surprised.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Yeah, so people are pissed. And you know, they say, hey,
somebody want a thousand bucks for basically just pumping something
into AI. Yeah, but they said, hey, the winner didn't
break any rules, but they said they will rewrite the
rules for twenty twenty seven that would prohibit AI made ends.

Speaker 8 (07:25):
I'm looking at these photos and I can tell which
one of the AI one is and instantly. And but
I think it just shows you that olds don't know menace,
like I'm sure the judges and this is probably a
billion years old. Yeah, the old io fare. Yeah, it's
so bad, dude, right, Like AI is fool and old
people left and right and will continue to.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Get it worse.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Yeah, And it's rampant on Facebook, and where is old
people were the old They're all up on Facebook, all
old people and they they're resharing this crap constantly.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Yeah, Well next year they're just going to rewrite the rules.
So get that AI stuff in there and keep the
purity of the Ohio affair.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Go show this shivery. It shivery. We won't sit shivery,
and you know we don't.

Speaker 4 (08:11):

(08:51):
I like it that girl friends share more than just shoes.
There we go a three way ain old parlay. Volume
one was in Hot Babe having fun with a naughty,
mature lesbian.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Also Tiffany goes to the anal clinic.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
About Tiffany gags but still guzzles. She was in long
awaited meeting and rimming with a loved one.

Aw and then who.

Speaker 4 (09:17):

(10:42):
Oh yeah, woos and menace. Some news from Chick fil a.
They are making their chicken and waffle sandwiches available nationwide.
Really fine. So it's the classic Chick fil a chicken
in between maple waffles for the buns, right, okay, up
with a honey butter spread, apple wood smoked bacon and

(11:04):
it comes to the side of syrup.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
All right.

Speaker 9 (11:06):
That sounds amazing.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
Will their version of this because I've had like the
seven eleven version of this, and as you might imagine,
it's garbage.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
Then there's the not all the stuff from seven you
like the seven eleven pizza.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
Those are good in the dog caveat on all of
those is when it's fresh, because there their their heat
lamp slash, roller, grill slash whatever anything that's it becomes
the sahara in the.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Yeah, okay, well check this out. These are going to
be available all day, not just to breakfast.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
The next question.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Chick Fla also announced they are debuting a S'mores frosted
coffee and a s'mores milkshake. Enough wow, but this this
smorest thing has been very popular. Later, I've seen moremores
everything things. Yeah, I saw some oreos like smort frost,
toasted marshmallows, syrup right with a little gerst out. Some

(12:03):
other food news the horror studio Blumhouse. They've teamed up
with Cheetos to create a new limited time flavor called
Sweet Phantom Heat Puffs. These are designed to fizz, tingle
and leave your mouth feeling numb as.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
A shake doesn't sound enjoyable, and.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
It starts off tasting like a sweet cinnamon sugar flavor
before the heat just kind of gradually takes over. These
new Cheetos are going to be in stores at the
end of the month. If you go to the Cosmopolitan
Hotel in Vegas, there's a big bar right in the
middle of the casino called the Chandelier Bar. At the
Chandelier Bar, they do have a drink and I forget

(12:41):
what it's called, but there's a little flour that they like,
like a flower flower, not like you used to make
cookies and stuff in the actual Yeah, like a plant
flower that they put into this drink and when you
drink the drink and then the flowers that it will
numb your mouth.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yeah, Okay, it was a buzz button. It's so bizarre.
That's really, it's really weird. It's so weird.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Some food news. Food news, all right, Arby's they're bringing
back there never before seen steak nuggets. Yes, steak nuggets
rules out there. It's a limited time offering introduced last fall.
It was you know, it's like this cut of steak
and a new Horsey ranch dipping song.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Oh like horse radish.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
Ye.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
You can find the new Arby Steak Nuggets at participating
nationwide locations here this month food news. And it's the
end of an era because for the first time in
fifteen years, seven Up is changing their recipe. Really so
seven Up is no longer a lemon lime soda, but
instead it will now be a lime lemon soda. You

(13:50):
see what they did there. Okay, it's gonna lean a
little bit more lime. The new seven Ups will be
hitting the shelves soon, and they got a new brand
to look as well. It doesn't look much different, but
this is a looks kind of boring, Like if you said, Ai,
what is a seven upcam?

Speaker 11 (14:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (14:06):
Is that really necessary?

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Animalist?

Speaker 2 (14:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
But there's some soda news all right, right, so Greg
learned that coffee cake doesn't have coffee as an ingredient.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
I learned it in about half the world learned it.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (14:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
A lot of people I ran into were like, Greg's
not alone. I thought the same thing. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
So Jeff g went ahead and made some homemade coffee
cake and brought it in. So we're gonna we're gonna try.
We've we've been smelling it here for like the last
fifteen minutes or so, because Jeff cut it up and
gave us all the little pieces here on a plate.
It smells delicious.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Fresh and homemade. Yeah, restaurant, Yeah, go ahead, menas here's
the thing. This is not my recipe.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
This is an old recipe from a very famous school
district coffee cake that people love when they were young.
So I would have made my coffee cake this way.
I'm not a big Nutmeger person, and it has it
in there.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
But it smells very rich. This is hood Hood Elementary
school coffee cake.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
This is damn good. It's good.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Oh good, Yeah, I'm not. I'm not getting any hints
of coffee though.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
No.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Wow, that's delicious.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
It smells like something my mom used to make. It's
like like pie almost.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
And I'll argue that it's good because do you say
the recipes from like the fifties. Yes, so I didn't
care about making healthy.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
One of the ingredients was salad oil. Me and Sammy were.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Vegetable Yeah, what is salad oil?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I guess back in the day, that's what they call
vegetable oil.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
You're not wrong, because Sammy wouldn't you agree? This tastes
very fall Oh.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Yes, like pump almost that's what I'm smalling pumpkin. This
is so good. Yeah, a little bit of that there.
I'm not getting like a very overwhelming nutmeg. I'm not
getting very old woman nutmeg cake, which is good, thank god.
I'm not a huge fan of movie.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
And of course Sammy's slices like three times as big
as mine.

Speaker 9 (16:12):
You can really taste the salad oil.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
All right.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
So on a scale of one to ten, Jeff's homemade
coffee cake with no coffee in the recipe, we start
with you, Gregory, what are you giving this on a
scale one to ten?

Speaker 13 (16:24):
You know what a cake like this, which is I mean,
I'm saying it not in a bad way. It's on
the dry side, but that's what coffee cake is. I'm
gonna give this a nine. Wow, it's so good. It's
not ely sweet, it's perfectly cinnamony.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
That is awesome.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Gean gradut you no, my mouth is full of coffee
cake dow.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
The last time was a hiccup.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
I'm not choking.

Speaker 7 (16:49):
I'm gonna say eight and a half because it's delicious,
but because it's not your recipe, and I have faith
in your baking, Jeff, I think you could even make
it even better.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I would try. Yeah, the rest, I'll bring you one.

Speaker 9 (17:05):
No, this is fantastic.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Eight and a half, all right, what about you? Menace
would have given it.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
I'm gonna go eight as well, just because of the
the dampness can be a little bit more damp damp, yeah,
and then a little bit more crumble on the top, yeah,
a little more zest.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
All right, all right, Sammy.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
I am going seven.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Agree with Menace.

Speaker 9 (17:26):
I would like it to be a little it's good.

Speaker 14 (17:28):
I would like to be a little bit more moist,
and I feel like the crumble on top tastes very buttery,
and I want it to be more cinnamon type of taste.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Some of us like butter because you're supposed to drink coffee.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
With I agree with the eight. I'm gonna I'm gonna
go eight. I think it could have some more crumble
on the top, but again, this is a school district recipe. Yeah,
you know what I mean. They're not really remember do
you guys remember the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from
the schools. Those were garbage. The ratio is always off.
This is by no means garbage. It's very good. I

(18:01):
would eat the whole pan of that, no problem. And
I agree with everything that that Greg had said about
I think it's it is moist. I see what you're
saying though, men it's like damp, damp, damp, But I
don't think it's dry. It's definitely not drop.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
It's really weird.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Some of the ingredients were really different. Like telling Sammy
like buttermilk instead of milk was really different. It's talking
about like old timey like old time but milk. They
just cared about it being good.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
That's what do you say.

Speaker 8 (18:29):
I think Sammy and Menace nailed it as far as
what it could use more of. And I know what
Greg's saying about the damp disc But if you are
to eat this alone, which you may, or the whole pan,
which what you may, I would you add either, I
don't know what you'd add more to make it more damp,
more milk?

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Don't people usually add like some like vanilla pudding or something.
You can do that. You can do egg yolk, or
a cream cheese perhaps, or ice on the top of it.
You know what else I appreciate about this is that
you you served it with whole milk.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I can tell who milk. I haven't had whole milk.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
I can't tell you, man, But this like it's almost
after having two percent for so long, this is like
straight cream. It's great.

Speaker 9 (19:07):
I mean, like a little kindergarten carpet square for a nap.

Speaker 8 (19:10):
But the flavor profile is excellent. So yeah, yeah, it
was a seven.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, very good.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
All right, well, thank you for making the coffee cake.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Yet coffee cake and guys get short.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Yeah, the famous quote unquote famous la USD coffee cake.
So we try to get Tim Martinez in here this
early to try it, and that wasn't happening. He couldn't
make it in this early. But here's what he asked.
Because his wife works for la Ust and he was
trying to get her to bring some home, and he

(19:41):
sent me this text exchange with his wife, and she says,
I'll try to get some the next time they serve it.
It's not an everyday thing.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Oh so it was it? Did?

Speaker 4 (19:49):
It used to be every day?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Not really?

Speaker 1 (19:51):
I mean it was kind of special like once a week,
you know, it goes pizza day. Yeah, you know those
kind of days.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Because Tim seemed to remember that it wasn't every day,
He's like, what, that's disturbing, and she said, also, it's
not the original recipe from back when we were in school.
So that goes to I'm sure it's now like oat milk, yeah,
and whatever else, like some kind of like garbage like that.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
So it's just always there in the teacher's lounge or
whatever whoever decides to make it.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Tim told his wife, he goes, you need to move
school districts.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
No, it's you know, the ladies. Whenever it was on
the schedule, they'd make it. But yeah, you could see
it's minimal ingredients.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
And so, Jeff, from what you remember, like, how does
this taste like?

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Compare it to pretty reminiscent? Yeah, pretty reminiscent.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I mean, I think my palette has changed a lot
just because I have I been mess and it sucks,
but this is awesome.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I mean, I'm like you, I'd eat the whole pan.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Hell yeah, no problem, Yeah, no problem.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
The Woodie Show.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
And it's another new hour insensitivity trading for a politically
correct world at the Helm The Woodie Show, Woody, Greg Nice,
Kina Grant. Yeah, if you want to call in great
phones are open seven for what he You can send
us your text be checking with us as you know

(21:04):
over to two to nine eighty seven finals, follow us
on social media. Look forward's there at the Wooden Show.
And next on the to do list is the checking
with GENA grab with the trending news headlines.

Speaker 7 (21:17):
Well, the Luigi Mangioni courtroom saga might finally be running
out a plot twist, and there could be a major
development in the case today. He's expected to announce a
guilty plea in his federal case during a hearing this morning.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
Well, it started as a rumor that that was gonna happen.
Now it seems all but pretty yeah, exactly, and so
now just waiting for it to actually happen.

Speaker 7 (21:35):
Yeah, And of course he could, you know, be walking
into the court and be like, nah, I changed my mind.

Speaker 9 (21:39):
So we'll see yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
I read it was like a guilty plea to stalking,
right right, So yeah, I'm like stalking a little bit more.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
But I didn't kill him, but I just stood there coincidence.

Speaker 7 (21:53):
Ye federal murdering gun charges that could have brought the
death penalty. They've been thrown out. But Luigi's still facing
a separate murder case in New York State, you know,
because there's two going on at the same time his drive.
His state trial is scheduled to start September eighth, So
after nearly two years of court hearings, this skates might
be over before it starts.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
I think everybody the whole cuteness of the free this
man he is a here in the comments on the story,
like that stuff has gotten so played out. Oh, like,
I know people are doing it. I think it was
rage bait. I think there are some people. I just
don't think I'm saying I don't. I don't think of
the numbers in which you see those those comments, I

(22:34):
don't think there's that many. I think there are people,
for sure, I don't believe it's in the numbers that
I think the perception is a little.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
The Chinese bots get greg all the time.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Yeah. Yeah, well we see it on our own text
people are texting yeah, oh absolutely a lot of places, Yeah,
that I'm taking. So it is a real thing.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
They just don't think in the in the scale the perception. Yeah,
now would does it matter that he murdered somebody? Does
that mean that there's not a ton of chicks who
want to sit on his face? They certainly do. Sometimes
it's because of that, right, Oh.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yeah, they love a bad boy, yeah right, sit on
his face.

Speaker 7 (23:13):
Well, they are these sailors that have officially been on
the world's worst work trip. Five thousand sailors and marines
aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln have been deployed for more
than two hundred and fifty days, including a record of
more than two hundred straight days at sea without a
port call. Families say conditions have gotten rough. Morale is
in the toilet, with reports of bad food, mental health issues,

(23:36):
a bunch of sailors trying to go overboard. One sailor
actually did go overboard and thankfully he was rescued. The
good news is that the USS George Washington is finally
headed to the Middle East to replace them. At this point,
they just want to have a beer in a shower
and get the hell home.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Really, So it's not that it's a bad ship.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
It's just that it's they just want to get off it.

Speaker 7 (23:56):
You think about being on like a really great cruise ship,
you know, or like during COVID when they're all stuck
at sea, like, no, we get it.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
You know, shows about it, like the people who are
deployed and there in submarines.

Speaker 9 (24:12):
Yeah, oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
I mean but how bad does it have to be
where you want to jump overboard? Yeah? Yeah, it's got
to be pretty crappy.

Speaker 13 (24:19):
Yeah, I learned something mega old timy, back in the
days of yore, when these sailors on the old timey
ships didn't feel well, the captain would send them to
the very bottom of the ship where there's less movement.
And that's why when you're not feeling well, they say
you're under the weather.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
What I'm under the weather?

Speaker 9 (24:41):
Under the weather?

Speaker 2 (24:42):
You didn't know that coffee wasn't in coffee cake? But
don't do that, I know.

Speaker 9 (24:45):
And do you know why pirates wore eye patches? Why
because they'd also.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
Have to go down stairs, like into the dark where
they couldn't see anything, and they would lift up the
eye patch, and that I would already be adjusted to
the dark so they could see immediately when they went
down the Yeah, look it up.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Internet.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Wouldn't lie about it. They seem like they'd be too
drunk to be able to figure that out for themselves.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
Okay, that's because you've bet more time than you can doubt.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Everyone was just drunk. Back in the day.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
We talked about this all the time, like these big
huge castles that they built and stuff.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
No TV all day every day. The eye patch things interesting.

Speaker 7 (25:23):
Yeah, I mean, it's not like they're all getting their
eyes pecked out so they can see downstairs all exactly.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
True. The sword fights.

Speaker 7 (25:33):
Well, apparently the apology portion of this scandal has been canceled.

Speaker 15 (25:37):
You know.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
We talked last week about how Miss former well, former
Miss North Carolina was stripped of her title because of
the racist stuff. She said she's not backing down from that.
She says that she's gearing up for a lawsuit and
that she's going to address the posts of her using
the N word, but she's not going tony to deny
them or run from them. She also says that she
was stripped of her title because of her political and
religious stance and that her rights were violated.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Why is that such a big deal. I don't understand,
Like why this story is such a big deal.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
Because she's fighting back, because now she's she's not going
to let it go.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
I know, But like, what are we really arguing about here?

Speaker 9 (26:10):
What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (26:11):
Like, what's the argument? Like she used the N word, right,
sorry for it? In what context?

Speaker 9 (26:17):
See, that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
I don't know. I haven't heard anything about the context
of it. I see videos every day. There was a hey, congratulations,
your algorithm has put you in my universe. Therefore you
are now officially an N word. Oh I am I
saw last night and he's and he used it about
a thousand times in his post right now. I would
have liked to know the context of it to that

(26:40):
people get outraged about someone who uses the word, who
maybe doesn't have the the card quote unquote to use
the word, And now it spirals into where there's a
lawsuit involved, Like what are we really talking about? We're
letting this get to a lawsuit stage.

Speaker 7 (26:54):
Well, anyone can do anyone for anything.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
I'm trying to understand, like why this is such a
big deal, Like if she was calling somebody that in
a fit of anger, and she was, you know, being
truly racist about.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
It food restaurant or Yeah, but like.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
You can't you can't get me that the word is
always racist, no matter what the context, because it's used
so freely and so many other different things. Like I
think the people who all carry the card need to
have a meeting. It's either all or nothing, Like either
there's a problem with the word. My wife used to
have a thing with the C word, right, Yeah, it
was funny when anybody else would say it. But if

(27:30):
I used it, not at her or toward her or
about her, but just in general, if I said it, oh, man,
I hate that word. Blah blah blah. Our friend Tony
the Whipping Boy would say it. She's laughing. I go, look,
either have a problem with the word or you don't.
It's one of the other. Yeah, what is it whether
you're going to come down on somebody who sings along
to a song that they didn't write, a big popular

(27:50):
song that has that word in it, and that person's
going to be villified or you know, dragged through the mud.
You know, again, save it for I think what are
the save it for a real deployment of it where
it's truly racist.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Yeah, and the co headline there are still pageants.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Yeah, and before you start texting over that, I'm not
allowed to have an opinion about it because I'm white.
Save your text. I don't care.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
So I'm looking at says. There were multiple tweets that
she put out under another name, like she had kind
of like a account. Yeah, and uh, yeah, she used
the N word in there, so I don't think it
was a song.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Context.

Speaker 9 (28:29):
Yeah, not calling someone that or referring to your friends
or you know know.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
What I'm talking about.

Speaker 9 (28:33):
Yeah, that's in common conversation.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
Clips from the breakfast club, you know what I mean,
like Charlemagne and everybody throwing it around or whatever. But
we're gonna, you know, we're gonna try to burn somebody
to the ground using it in the same context. Well,
and they don't have the quote.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
Card, but burning someone to the ground in this case
is just she violated their standards and practices that they have.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Yeah, I'm saying, where you get to a lawsuit at
that point?

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Like for her?

Speaker 4 (28:56):
All right?

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Cool?

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Look, look, you know how people are sensitive about this thing.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Let it go.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
Yeah, I mean, she's not done you don't need to
apologize either, But like the whole thing about a lawsuit.

Speaker 9 (29:05):
Yep, she's not done.

Speaker 12 (29:06):
Well maybe it wasn't in their standards and priss since
she got like go that would be shocking hundred years
who knows. The story keeps popping up and I'm wondering, like, dude,
what exactly happened? How did she use this well?

Speaker 7 (29:19):
And I thought we had talked about that, that it
was more conversational.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Yeah, no idea.

Speaker 7 (29:24):
Yeah, So if your weekend plans involved getting out of
the heat and getting some overpriced popcorn, you got a
couple of options. Because there's a bunch of new movies
hit in the theaters. So the big one is The
End of Oak Street, And I had no idea what
the plot of this was. This one's Anne Hathaway and
you and McGregor as parents who whose entire neighborhood somehow
gets transported back to prehistoric days.

Speaker 9 (29:45):
I had no idea.

Speaker 7 (29:46):
That's what it was about. So got some dinosaurs in there. Also,
opening is The Rivals of Amzia King. That's a crime
thriller starring Matthew McConaughey and Kurt Russell.

Speaker 15 (29:56):
That's it.

Speaker 9 (29:56):
Ninety percent at Rotten Tomatoes.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
I hate the title. I do too titles off putting.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
It sounds like Game of Thrones.

Speaker 7 (30:02):
And do you know what his Matthew McConaughey's name is
Amzia King and he's like a beekeeper or something like.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
It's so bizarre.

Speaker 9 (30:12):
I love Kurt Russell.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
You say it's It's got some pretty decent ratings.

Speaker 9 (30:17):
Like yeah, and for the kids, it.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
Could be The Marvelous Missus Maisel. I thought a very
funny show. I hated the title. I avoided the show
because I hated the title of it. Get it shows.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
Jesus, And then there's top Patrols for the young and
nice pick your.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
Poors in this weekend menace.

Speaker 9 (30:39):
And finally, Europeans.

Speaker 7 (30:40):
Got a rare look at a solar solar eclipse the
other day, the first one in like three decades. And
guess what, they're dummies and they have no idea how
to look at a solar eclipse. So Google trends data
shows that a few hours afterwards, searches for eye injury
and eyes hurt skyrocket over there because a ton of
people just.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Looked right at it without no matter where it is,
wherever the eclipse is you know, people dummies are staring
at it. You're not supposed to do that.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
I have friends in Iceland that went, I wonder if
they're blind now, because the effects of staring directly at
the sun, you guys, even during an eclipse, won't be
felt for a few hours. And doctors are reminding everyone
that eclips are not you're not supposed to stare at
the sun. Are we all on the same page now?

Speaker 5 (31:19):
I mean I saw videos of it. It looked really cool.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yeah, some really cool.

Speaker 9 (31:23):
Stuff, but like look down and just point your camera
at it, because yeah, eyes hurt is the big Google.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
It seemed kind of low.

Speaker 9 (31:30):
Oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Or do uh do what you did when you were
in elementary school They had you make one of those
things in a shoe.

Speaker 9 (31:35):
Box, like little keyhole thing.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yeah yeah, or do it?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Or do the video?

Speaker 7 (31:41):
My favorite video, Sam is the only one that'll even
remotely appreciate this. The ones that say, like, if you
didn't see the eclipse, I have a video of it.
It's like an orange cat and then they put a
black cat over. It's really cute. Okay, anyway, that's just good.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
I thank you very much.

Speaker 16 (31:58):
You got it.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
Quick break more what you shows next? Don't go anywhere.
The Woody Show will be right back. I'm with Woody
on this.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
It's very strange and it's not good at all.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Oh god, a target finished. It was sour.

Speaker 7 (32:10):
There's a little bit of an after Oh my god,
soastes like cold grease.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
The Woody Show, all right, some follow ups eight seven
seven forty four Woody after ours voicemails couple there got
a text over to two two nine eight seven. How's
the dumbass Tyler and Morgan doing with the miss Salady?

Speaker 5 (32:37):
Oh yeah, good trouble.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Yeah, I haven't heard anything something. I'm assuming it's I'm
I'm assuming it's fine.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Think we're in they're clear.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
Yeah, I do have like a Tyler update app, you know,
because I'm in love with them.

Speaker 9 (32:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Yeah, as you.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Tell me Tyler, totally fine, totally fine, and hany problems
and then where's where's Morgan? Go go find out that
bring Morgan in here?

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Actually yeah, I mean we were.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
In the office with Tyler for about a good hour
and a half. I didn't smell anything.

Speaker 12 (33:01):
Yea.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
That's always a positive.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Sea and you would know because your guts are rotten. Yeah,
he's got ib Seff's got ibs. Do you take anything
for that?

Speaker 2 (33:08):
There's like, no, nothing really, I mean some time all
everyone's a while and all. Yeah for the information. Yeah, god,
tyland all actually gives me the the poops? Does it?

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (33:18):
It does to a couple of people. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
Uh, how to go great? Yeah, delicious salad than so
how it was good the tailor farms. It was like
a kilipeno. Yeah, it wasn't as spicy as kalopeno popper.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, salad, I've never heard of that one.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
I want to try a nice crunch had the tailor
farm farms lettuce, the tailor farms, you know, jalapenos, which
you're all in the news.

Speaker 17 (33:39):
Yep, right, Iceberg lettuce too.

Speaker 9 (33:41):
Yeah, I'm supposed to get you now.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
You guys got paid one hundred bucks to eat a
salad Like men takes vegetables so much you would you
have to pay him? Yeah, just to eat stuff that
wasn't even on a on a watch list.

Speaker 9 (33:53):
Yeah, Morgan was like that was literally my lunch.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
Anyway, dude, people are like doing all this deep diving
destigation into your boyfriend's situation. Oh yeah, yeah, you want
to hear the South Drawers voicemail. Oh well, let's get
you some let's get you there you go? Yeah, so
you can you can hear them all?

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Right, here we go?

Speaker 8 (34:12):
Hey, what a show?

Speaker 16 (34:13):
Catching up on your podcast on the Morgan's trip to
Japan and just doing I'm a big m M A
fan and little digging. I'm pretty sure I know who
herd new Man. So Morgan can't keep a secret anymore,
we know, Well, she.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Wasn't keeping a secret.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
I think there was. There was a picture posted.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
Yeah, you can't secret when you post photos.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (34:38):
Yeah, So they had a conversation real internet slu.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
People.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
People love being detectives, man, they love it. Has anybody
said I love you yet?

Speaker 17 (34:52):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (34:54):
And how long has it been? What do you mean,
like for when you guys, like from whatever your first
date quote unquote, which was what the DC?

Speaker 17 (35:02):
Yeah, but I don't even know if I would count
that as a really Yeah?

Speaker 4 (35:05):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (35:05):
How about how about from when you landed in Japan?

Speaker 17 (35:08):
How long was it then?

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Yeah? Like a day?

Speaker 9 (35:12):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
Because this dating coach says a woman should dump her
boyfriend if he hasn't said I love you within three
months of starting their relationship, I agree, or disagree on that.

Speaker 9 (35:22):
Disagree, I disagree.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Really, you can't put rules on three months. Three months
seems like enough time to know.

Speaker 7 (35:29):
Yeah, it depends how much time I guess you're spending
in three months. But three months seems.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Early, especially in the early part of a relationship. You're
spending a ton of time together early.

Speaker 17 (35:37):
Really, what's the point? I mean, we're here to love.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
People, so yeah, just let it go.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
Nobody said I love you with me?

Speaker 17 (35:44):
Yeah, oh yeah, we're still waiting.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
No, why not?

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Who knows?

Speaker 4 (35:51):
With the way you reacted to that, I was like,
oh no, I do still.

Speaker 14 (35:54):
Think that there's definitely times that it can be too early,
and three months can be too early, like Gina said,
depending on how often and you see them and what
the situation is.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Well, it's if it's not within three months. The dating
coaches say women are wasting their time staying with these
commitment phobic guys. Yeah, if your partner doesn't say very
clearly I love you by twelve weeks, then he's not
your ideal partner and you've wasted your time quote unquote,
that's lovely. I give him another month.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
And Gina and ladies in the room, what's worse a
love bomber or someone who acts like they don't care.

Speaker 7 (36:28):
Oh, that's a great question. They're two sides of the
same coin. Yeah, exactly, they both are manipulators.

Speaker 17 (36:32):
The problem with me is love bombing. I love it
because I'm like, yes, I deserve it.

Speaker 18 (36:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (36:38):
Part of the love bomb, the end of the love
bomb is they take it away because they were just
love bombing you at the beginning.

Speaker 17 (36:43):
Not my reality. Like, ladies, you should never settle for
what you don't deserve. So, yes, pay attention to those
quote unquote love bombing signs, but also do you not
deserve that from someone.

Speaker 9 (36:57):
When it's real you deserve it.

Speaker 17 (36:59):
Yeah, Now it has to be consistent.

Speaker 9 (37:01):
Yeah, that's why it's.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
Like red flag. Common to me is when people start
talking about deserve, it's the word deserve that brings yeah,
because that brings up an entitlement idea to me, Well, I.

Speaker 17 (37:14):
Think we all deserve it, or you deserve it.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
You'll put up with yeah, you know, I deserve this.
Like when you say I deserve this, it's just sounds
selfish to you. Yeah, it's better to say I've earned it.
There's something about the word deserve, like the entitlement.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (37:31):
I was giving it a lot of thought yesterday Morgan,
how you and your man have already discussed marriage or
if you want kids? And everybody thought, oh, that's so fast,
But you're right. What's the point of entering a relationship
if you don't know the endgame? And if you both
feel it.

Speaker 16 (37:45):
Go for it.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
I was about to bring up the same thing. I
think I was having a discussion with somebody about this.
And this is just the new wave of people getting relationships.
They're either doing like straight up casual hookups or they're
just you know, getting together quickly and actually having honest
discussions about what they want versus you know, playing these

(38:07):
games back and forth and like dating for really, these
questions are.

Speaker 9 (38:10):
Like on people's dating profiles, like I do want kids,
I don't want.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Kids because communication is lubrication.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
And this is this is according to some new numbers,
platonic co parenting is becoming a big thing. So it's
having kids with friends or other like minded people, no
romantic strings attached.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
That sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
There are some co parenting apps that have been taking off,
setting up people interested in starting families with platonic partners.
Oh wait, no, the other thing getting more popular multiple
single parents moving in under one roof and raving raising
their kids together.

Speaker 9 (38:50):
Commune.

Speaker 4 (38:51):
Yeah, oh, they call mom munes by the way, where
it's like single single women with kids and they start
a mom mune. I hate I hate the word.

Speaker 7 (39:00):
I thought you meant like people like you know, who
was it Gwyneth Paltrow with that stupid conscious uncoupling or whatever,
Like people who are divorced but raising their kids.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
People are looking for.

Speaker 9 (39:11):
Buddies to have.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
That's so stupid. They say, don't even buy real estate
with a friend. Go ahead and have a.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
Human like you and Greg friends. Right, but there's nothing
sexual going on for obvious reasons. Right, but you guys
can have a kid together.

Speaker 9 (39:24):
Should be right, Thank you.

Speaker 7 (39:26):
That's so funny because again, like like you said, real estate,
I won't even be well. Back in the day, I
wouldn't even be roommates with friends because I thought that
would ruin.

Speaker 9 (39:33):
It wouldn't ever do this.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
I know it sounds it sounds awful like it was
just doomed. Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
Yeah, I say, we're having fun conversation relationships and then
it's like kids grow.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
Well, No, she was talking about how they've discussed they've
already discussed, they've discussed those things, and how the relationship,
the idea of them now has changed people getting into relationships,
not even necessarily looking to word marriage because marriage, those
numbers are down. People having kids is down, except people
who are having kids. Sometimes you're having kids with the
people who are not even in a relationship, right down.

Speaker 13 (40:11):
Yeah, I mean you'll recall Richard and Monica and friends
broke up because you remember that, you guys know that
what you guys are all thinking, Yeah, did life on that?

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Yeah? So where are you at on?

Speaker 4 (40:22):
Are you open to the idea between me and him?

Speaker 6 (40:24):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Oh? I thought you were Just like I'm taking general
as a person, like, did you ever think that you
would be a person who would want to have kids?

Speaker 11 (40:30):
Now?

Speaker 4 (40:30):
Some people go like, nope, never forget it. I'm out,
especially now.

Speaker 17 (40:34):
I've never wanted kids in the past.

Speaker 4 (40:35):
People of your generation. Yeah, ow, yeah, you kids today?

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Right? Yeah, Well, good luck with everything.

Speaker 4 (40:43):
Morgan's gonna have so many kids, I know, right. Eight
seven another piece of feedback here, just to recap. We're
talking about what's the trashiest thing you've seen the most
redneck thing you've seen. Here's from the after Hours voicemail.

Speaker 3 (40:59):
Okay, so I have an amazing redneck Thanksgiving issue that
came about in our family. Once we all went to
my grandmother's house where my uncle lived, and my mom
has many siblings. There was probably forty of us there,
and my uncle decided to have my my other uncle

(41:21):
ride an eu to get it, to get it, just
like get down on the ground, and they butchered an
emu and then they served it all to us for Thanksgiving.
And I remember having to be polite and try a peace,
but my parents abruptly left once I said that it
tasted like boot leather. So there you go, trashy redneck
moment Thanksgiving from me.

Speaker 9 (41:46):
A feathered bird?

Speaker 2 (41:46):
What do you care?

Speaker 4 (41:47):
I don't know who's over it, butchering Liberty Mutual decided
that they were going to try to make the move
like has that been interesting or funny to anybody now
in the beginning?

Speaker 5 (41:58):
Yeah, because of the gag, all right, Well, they tried that.

Speaker 4 (42:02):
They also had the progress with the little pig, remember
the pin wheel out the window for is that progressive?
They had? We remember it?

Speaker 2 (42:11):
A little pig?

Speaker 4 (42:12):
We we we all the way home.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
Animals people.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
Yeah, Like, I thought that was so dumb. I don't know,
I've never met anybody who said, man, you know, it's
really funny. The limu emer.

Speaker 9 (42:28):
It all started with the Yeah, the cavemen and all that.
Remember who were they.

Speaker 4 (42:32):
For, Gicoico Aren't Emo?

Speaker 2 (42:35):
They tried to make a sitcom out of that.

Speaker 5 (42:38):
They're super dangerous, right Greg. We met one and they're like,
don't get close to it.

Speaker 13 (42:41):
It was a type of eye this wild life that
we went to and they said, the most dangerous animal
in here is that bird.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
Yeah, we'll take your hand off.

Speaker 4 (42:51):
One last uh feedback from the most trashy thing, most
redneck thing you've seen on the after hours voicemail.

Speaker 6 (42:58):
Hey, I just wanted to let you know. I went
to a Walmart and saw a woman that looked like
Miss chokes On from her boobies were hanging out at
the bottom of her shirt. There were kids everywhere. Yeah,

(43:19):
so that's trash.

Speaker 4 (43:21):
Yeah, you're working around kids and your cans are coming out.

Speaker 5 (43:28):
I went to Walmart last night and there was just
like an aisle full of tortas that I couldn't even
get through. So, like, these these chicks were so big,
so I had to walk around the whole aisle to
the other side to get to where I needed to
go because I just like I couldn't walked through.

Speaker 4 (43:45):
The Great Wall of Tortas. Yeah, yeah, it was insane.
Crab Yeah that's miss Crabtree. Yeah, Miss chokes on dig
is different. Miss miss Crabtree was the bus driver, right.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Yeah right, yeah, hell crack. We have a former coworker
who looks she loves us too.

Speaker 4 (44:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that was we were. That was San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (44:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:13):
Yeah, we worked with crab totally and she was always
really friendly to that's true. Yeah, all right, what's good?
So something good? Something positive? We are not doing what
we would normally do. I'm telling everybody to turn that

(44:34):
sarcasm switch off. Yeah all right, just for a moment.
Our sarcasm overheats from time to time.

Speaker 9 (44:42):
Yeah, I got reset it.

Speaker 4 (44:43):
I get it because I'm i am the probably the
most guilty. Yeah, you know, I would not and I'm trying.
I'm trying to be better about it.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
I really am.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
I'm making I'm making a conscious effort good.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
So what's good?

Speaker 4 (44:58):
And I will share this story that I saw. It
keeps popping up, and I've seen it a few different times.
I know we complain about customer service and how terrible
it is, but every once in a while, something you
see somebody really making it over the top effort. I
just was dealing with the company the other day and
the woman that I was dealing with was so over
the top helpful and nice and like just aver above

(45:20):
and beyond followed up, you know, when it wasn't necessary,
wasn't asked for, like just was great. So there are
some people out there now the video that I'm referencing here,
and you might have seen it. You know, Chick fil A,
they've they've always got the customer service awards. They're always
super friendly. When when you go in there and this
Chick fil A employee, she ran from the restaurant across

(45:44):
the street and down the block to make sure that
this customer got their coffee that they forgot at the
drive through window. I got she's holding the coffee and
she's in her Chick fil A uniform and she's like
running after this car that had already pulled away.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
That's customer service, Chick Filly, I beat the best. Jesus.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
This guy was just watching it that is good.

Speaker 15 (46:06):
God, listen, if you're a business owner and you just
saw that, you saw that lady running after the car
to deliver a coffee that the person drove off on
on the.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
Way at Chief file A. She's on the road running.
If you have that level of service, you will win
in business. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, agreed. Yeah, that is
above and beyond. That's return customers right there.

Speaker 4 (46:27):
Yeah, Like this woman that I was dealing with with
this company, I was mentioning, It's like, yeah, like they
they definitely have my business. Now it's the every time
that's gonna be my default totally.

Speaker 13 (46:36):
It's the exception instead of the rule. When you have
good customer service recently, it's noteworthy. Yeah, like wow, yeah,
it's crazy. I had to deal with something as well,
and I told the guy when we were done, I said,
you know what, thank you. You made that actually easy.
I was expecting a big you know fight almost.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Yeah, you made it so easy.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Greg, what do you got?

Speaker 2 (46:55):
What's good?

Speaker 13 (46:55):
I got some audio if you can pull that up.
What it's called Greg Beatbox in the Tuesday Greg Beatbug.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (47:02):
So you know how we all love the expression what's
in your algorithm? For some reason, I don't know if
this is new old, it's been around for a while.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
It is the Korean guy. Yes, and I share an algorithm.
Now we've shared enough stuff between us. I think that Yeah,
you just got this in the past couple of days.

Speaker 16 (47:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (47:20):
Yeah, And it's popping up like crazy. And I think
the reason is I can't stop watching it. Amazing And
when I say what's good, this is beyond good. This
is a human voice, and it's mind blowing. He's doing
all this with his voice so good.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Yeah, I mean, here we go. It's fantastic, unreal, And
it's not.

Speaker 4 (47:52):
Like when he looped it and then added something to it.
He's doing all this on the fly, on the fly allegedly. Right,
I'm true to believe what you say about but I
do believe it. I've seen guys like this and these
like talent competition things before.

Speaker 13 (48:07):
Yeah, and sometimes they do like a group of four
and they start adding to each other. Yeah, it's mind
really cool, such talent. I wish I had talent like that.
That's incredible.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Good.

Speaker 5 (48:17):
Uh, there's a lot of stuff that I'm excited for
when it comes to clean energy and energy around the world.

Speaker 4 (48:23):
It's really cool.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
I know, people that are Oh, I thought this was
a positive segment.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
I said me too, are you. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (48:29):
The other thing that I'm excited about, and I think
that you actually would be excited about, is uh did
you see the self healing concrete. I heard about it,
thought you, Yeah, it's it's really really cool because you
know the unsightly cracks, yes, you'll see around concrete. This

(48:50):
new concrete is when it's exposed to UV light, within
an hour, it will heal itself.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
So weird.

Speaker 5 (48:57):
Yeah, it's insane, and I mean and hopefully that will help,
you know, society and saving money when it comes to
replacing concrete around cities around.

Speaker 4 (49:08):
Because concrete will always crack.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yeah, you know, like an.

Speaker 4 (49:13):
Well it's poured like it just over time, at some
point it will crack, whether it's a big crack or
a hairline crack. I did hear something about it. I
haven't seen anything about it. Adam Corolla, your old boss
was just talking about. I guess he's got a new house. Yeah, yes,
did you see that.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
I did. It's miracle.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
He had all this old brick and concrete and everything else,
and he goes to break all this up and haul
this out of here.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
Forever fortune.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
Yeah exactly. And now this is like you just basically
grind down just.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
A small like less than a third of an inch.

Speaker 4 (49:46):
Correct, like a small thin layer across the whole thing,
and you put this over top. And he showed the
it wasn't even done yet, and it looked it looked
really cool. Yeah, it's really at a fraction of the cost. Yeah,
so's it's pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (49:59):
Yeah, hopefully that will help, like you know, sob from
like constant repairs everywhere, then the self healing thing would
just work the terminator.

Speaker 4 (50:08):
Gina grad what's good?

Speaker 7 (50:09):
Well, you know that horrible earthquake in Colombia is like
seven point four hundreds of people died, tons of people missing,
just devastating, super sad. Well, one woman that had been
trapped for thirty six hours under the rubble has been
found and completely rescued. And Okay, she was eventually found
because somebody heard her calling out. They used this little

(50:30):
small camera to find her under four massive concrete slabs,
and firefighters spent ten hours digging her out because they
had two separate tunnels, one to get her oxygen and
another just to get to her to pull her out.
She's totally fine, she has a teenage son, you know,
the mom. Like, no one could believe they found this
woman and she's.

Speaker 4 (50:50):
Okay, Wow after all that time under.

Speaker 9 (50:53):
Four concrete slabs.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Yeah because thirty six hours, yeah, they.

Speaker 4 (50:56):
Say, like the first however, many hours are the most
important looking for survivors.

Speaker 9 (51:01):
Yeah, yeah, just in time?

Speaker 2 (51:04):
Yeah awesome.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
Isn't the prison show? What's the one?

Speaker 5 (51:06):
The first? Trying to very important in many different places.
They also found a French bulldog and uh, Sammy, what's good?

Speaker 11 (51:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (51:16):
Well, speaking of dogs, I think most people get when
they people get big dogs because I need protection all
this stuff to you know, help me out. Well, this
cute little chihuahua saved their owner's life because the dogs mouth.
The mouth was able to detect an aggressive form of
breast cancer in their owner. So the dogs started pawing
at her armpit and there were no other signs of

(51:39):
anything being wrong. There were no symptoms, but the dog
was so consistent about it that she finally ended up
feeling a lump, went to the doctor. Sure enough, had
an aggressive form of breast cancer with no symptoms, and
started getting chemo when she was diagnosed, and the second
she got.

Speaker 2 (51:55):
Chemo, the dog stopped.

Speaker 14 (51:57):
Now it's she's been cancer free for a year and
she attributes it to her dog because there was no
symptoms and no reason.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
You see those every once in a while where like
the dog just sniffs it out, Like there are certain
dogs that have this ability. I don't know what you know?
Can you train the dog?

Speaker 2 (52:14):
Is it just something that you can train dogs?

Speaker 9 (52:16):
You can know anything?

Speaker 4 (52:17):
But what are they what are they smelling for?

Speaker 5 (52:20):
We can't do you just give the dog tumors a smell.

Speaker 14 (52:27):
Yeah, the dog wasn't trained for this, but I mean,
she admits it was super annoying.

Speaker 4 (52:30):
At the time, right, like she's like, stop, this is annoying.

Speaker 14 (52:33):
But now that dog is a trained therapy dog and
goa and stuff like that, But it was not initially trained.

Speaker 9 (52:40):
Where on your body did the dog dig you?

Speaker 4 (52:43):
I did mention, Uh this video that I saw where
they were training these dogs to track down scent and
just how crazy sensitive they are. They put the scent
on a grain of rice, put that grain of rice
in this like big giant junkyard looking area in like
they submerged it in water, like some water and some

(53:03):
rain water that collect on the edge of like like
one of the pieces of junk and put the grain
of rice in there, and then the dog was turned
the other way. Didn't see where the guy was or
anything like that. And then they let the dog loose
and it starts running and looking all over and you
could tell like nope, cold, cold, warmer warmer, okay, wait,
and then got its way over there, kind of stopped
for a second, sniffed a little bit more, and then

(53:27):
just sat down right where that grain of rice was.

Speaker 12 (53:29):
Great.

Speaker 7 (53:29):
Well, they apparently that's wild up to one hundred thousand
times better smell than we do.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
Yeah, I believe it our miracles. Yeah, Jeff g. What
do you got, all right?

Speaker 1 (53:39):
Something positive and happy for you to watch. I'm a
TV junkie and ted Lasso is back Listen. TV is
full of ratchet housewives and murder dogs and guns and action,
and here comes, you know, happy go lucky ted Lasso
with his dad jokes and khakis and positivity. And you know,
I'm not as cheesy as Samy with the Hallmark stuff,
but I do like me some positive tea and something

(54:00):
to take a break from all the you know, the questions.
So I'd love me some ted Lasso. And it's back
for season four. So if you're looking for something like that,
I would highly recommend.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
I actually watch it. It's really good. It's good man.

Speaker 4 (54:12):
Question, do you have to like soccer?

Speaker 15 (54:14):
No?

Speaker 1 (54:14):
No, okay, this is a show about friends and taking
risks with jobs and family and relationships, and it's really
funny too. But I just like the positivity about it
because there's someone's negativity and everything we watch and everything
we do.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
And use, this is like something positive. They'll take it
away from Yeah, making like hard decisions. Yeah yeah, And
like what.

Speaker 9 (54:32):
Do do you guys remember the show The League?

Speaker 7 (54:34):
Yes, it was about you know, like effects. Yeah, I know,
as you guys know. I know nothing about football. I
know nothing about drafting. That was my favorite show. So
if I can watch that, you can definitely watch Ted
Lasso with no soccer knowledge.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
Yeah, you would like it, man, it's really funny too.

Speaker 4 (54:49):
I mean I've heard a lot of good good things.
I just said, no, like it, like because you love
soccer so much, you're a huge soccer fan.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
Yes, has nothing to do with soccer. It's more about
the relationships man. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (54:58):
Like that's Sun's anarchy. It's not like I ride motorcycles, right, Yeah,
I love that show. Yeah, you know, and that was
a turnof for a lot of people. They said, like,
I never watched. I'm not really into bike motorcycle culture.
I'm like, no, you don't have anybody if you're into
gangster stuff, you know, like, uh, you know mob movies
and you know that kind of gangster kind of stuff.
Like that's a show you should watch.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
You don't have to be into myth to watch Breaking Back.

Speaker 4 (55:21):
Exactly, although it makes you kind of consider a career
in it.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Absolutely, it's inspired. Yeah, like I could do this.

Speaker 9 (55:28):
These prices are insane crazy.

Speaker 16 (55:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
The Woodie Show, Yeah, the rumors are true.

Speaker 4 (55:40):
It's Friday. Yeah, we are indeed The Woody Show, Woodie,
Greg Menace, Gina Gren. Yeah, phones open eight seven seven

Speaker 4 (56:06):
But said all the info over all the way over

d y Q. That's always our dumba's contest on a Friday,
and then also is traditionally the Friday Fail Stories and
a fresh batch of Friday fails. Ready to go, Ladies

(57:06):
and gentlemen, Boys and girls, welcome to another round of
your Friday Fail. Sorry, all the people thought they had
the perfect plan, the plan that can never go wrong,
but then somewhere along the line it went from being
a great idea to one big stink in mega uber
ultra guys. Yea, yeah, guys, it's kind of strong. I

(57:42):
think guys killed it. What did dude?

Speaker 2 (57:47):
That was good? I liked it?

Speaker 4 (57:48):
Yeah, nice work, All right, suck. We will start with
this one from tv Land where this longtime wig expert
Tony Bratton, she was showing off a salon style wig
on q VC. You might have seen something about this.
It's so funny and uh she's doing what QVC does.
They have the person on there they're talking about it.

Speaker 8 (58:07):
Love to show the texture and this wave pattern again
it looks like you went and got a blow job
at your.

Speaker 4 (58:16):
Blowout at your salon and it looks yeah, so she
was like crouching down eventually disappeared towards the floor. The
co host tried to keep the presentation moving, but yeah, sails.

Speaker 9 (58:33):
And then at the end when the other one starts talking,
she just ducks under the table.

Speaker 4 (58:37):
So I'm saying, it just kind of slowly disappeared. Yeah,
and I know that it's called a blowout. It doesn't
sound like something you'd want, right.

Speaker 9 (58:46):
It's an It sounds like what happens in a baby's diaper.

Speaker 4 (58:49):
Yeah, that's on the toilet, like ooh girl, I'm going
to get a blowout?

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Like I don't know, really, you want to ruin your hair?

Speaker 1 (58:55):
Well, and this one on the show too, that was
she had to I want to speak to your manager
haircut too.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
There was kind of like short in the back the wig,
the wig, I want to speak to the manager. Wig.
They got to promote it like that looks like fresh
blow Yeah? Is that changed? Dry barstool around? Oh yeah
yeah it is still. Thank Uh.

Speaker 4 (59:14):
Here's one from Florida where this male woman she showed
up to the Florida Lottery headquarters with a winning lottery ticket.
But the thing is had already been redeemed by the
actual winner, the actual owner of the ticket. The mail
lady had stolen it out of a piece of mail
that mail was the winner sending it to lottery headquarters

(59:35):
to claim their prize. So the mail lady arrested taking
the failed jail and the ticket, by the way, valued
at twenty six hundred dollars, so look it was worth it, yeah, sailed. Yeah,
because the winner was like calling to find out if
they had received it yet. And as that was going on,
what do you know, Within a few days of that,
this woman walks in trying to redeem the ticket, and

(59:56):
so like oh, yeah, here, wait here, we're gonna get
some paperwork, and they the cops, and the cops show
idiots like that, how stupid. This next one is from
West Virginia where this truck driver he was looking to
make a little extra cash and so he hatched a
plan for a little side hustle. He was a delivery
driver for little Debbies O lucky, and what he was

(01:00:17):
doing he was faking deliveries to the stores. He would
just forge the store employee signatures on the invoices saying
that he dropped them off keep the product, and then
he was selling it on the side.

Speaker 9 (01:00:27):
On his own genius side mustle.

Speaker 4 (01:00:30):
But obviously the stores figured it out pretty quick when
they when they had no inventory. We already was.

Speaker 11 (01:00:35):
Around some local flea markets in the area. They knew
right off the bat that something wasn't adding up because
when they got built for the invoice, they don't pay
it out without scanning the product first, so they didn't
have the product to scan, so they disputed the invoices
with McKay Foods.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
That's the most basically you learn when you're trying to
sell candy bars in school. You can't just keep them.

Speaker 4 (01:00:55):
Yeah, So the stores they called the little wi people,
little DeBie people called the cops. They caught the driver
like you mentioned at the flea market selling that flip
flipping oatmeal cream.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
Pie, not the hustle.

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
Yeah, so now he's in fail jail over seventeen thousand
dollars of snackcase in a good run sales again worth it.
This next one is from Oregon where this dude he
was out hiking at a state park. Yay, found the
perfect spot for a selfie. It was an area by
this waterfall. Greg That sounds lovely, but the only way
to get there was to go through a closed off area,

(01:01:28):
signs and everything. But he did it, always smart, always smart. Well,
he ended up slipping and falling all one hundred and
seventy seven feet to the rocks below.

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
He's megadad.

Speaker 4 (01:01:38):
The cops are calling it an accident, but the areso
are all emphasizing that these signs are there, you know,
for a reason, and you shouldn't be there in the
first place. Sales, dumb in.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
I'll be the one that can do it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
And this is my favorite one of the week. It's
about this sixty seven year old farmer who needed some
advice on weed control for his sesame fields. So he
got a recommendation that called for a mix of these
different chemicals, which you know. The farmer took and he
sprayed across twenty five acres of his farmland. And the
good news is the spray work. The weeds were gone, lucky,

(01:02:11):
but so was everything else. Everything is like dead dead,
All the crops are gone. What the hell?

Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
What kind of advice was he given? Well he got
it from AI.

Speaker 9 (01:02:20):
Oh there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:02:22):
So he went back to the AI and he punched
in what happened, and the AI hit him back with
my bad have you ever corrected the aih oh, thanks
for catching that?

Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Yeah my mistake? Yeah yeah, every day, Sale, I just.

Speaker 13 (01:02:36):
Had an argument with Alexa last night. You did where
I had it set a timer for an hour. I
was making something in the oven and then I said, hey, Alexa,
how much time do I have left in my timer?
And she says five minutes. I said okay, because it
wasn't showing up and she says, okay, fifty one hour
time or set And I said, I didn't ask you
to set another time, and she said, okay, so long

(01:02:57):
as we're on the same page.

Speaker 11 (01:02:59):
Ew.

Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
I don't need that attitude from you. Did you guys
break up? I should break up?

Speaker 18 (01:03:04):
Yeah, bitch.

Speaker 5 (01:03:06):
I hate it when it's all breathy, when it talks
to me, and I like try to tell the AI
like stop, like just talk to me, like forward, because
it gets all like cutesy, you know, yeah, and they try.

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
To make jokes.

Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
You can that down?

Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
Yeah, no, in the I know, but it seems to
reset itself.

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
I don't know why, trying to seduce you.

Speaker 4 (01:03:26):
Yeah. I still haven't been able to figure out where
in some kind of process the lamp that's right next
to my bed comes on full bright at a certain
time when nobody has, you know, commanded to do anything,
And uh, I could be dead asleep and this light
just comes on full bright, and now I'm up and

(01:03:47):
I can't. I've looked through all the different you know,
routines and everything else. I'm about to just, you know,
get a new one. Well, I mean the but I
think but I think it's like titled because of what
you titled that. But I even tried change the name
of the device of that lamp and that didn't do anything.
I think it's the maybe the light bulb itself because
it communicates through the Wi Fi. Light bulbs are on

(01:04:10):
Wi Fi.

Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Gregs Yeah, yeah, I know I have. I didn't set
them up, but I use.

Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
Them like light bulbs Wi Fi. I know.

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
It's so weird.

Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
Blows Greg's mind.

Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Got this one lamp you don't even have to plug
it in, You just charge the light bulb. It's so weird.
And then there's a remote control.

Speaker 4 (01:04:26):
For it that's pretty cool. Unsightly wires exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:04:31):
Like, if you have like a table that's in the
middle of the floor of a living room.

Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
You don't want the cord. You don't hate that?

Speaker 4 (01:04:37):
Yeah, I know, Yes, Jeff G.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Do you have someone else in your house have access
to it? Are they messing with you.

Speaker 4 (01:04:43):
No, they're not messing with me because it's the exact
same time and I can't find out what routine is
at that time. There's no routine exept for that time.
I don't know what's going on. Why are you choosing
not to hear R You just clearly closed your ear
dumbs to make that a ghost?

Speaker 5 (01:04:57):
Bringing up what I do when I can't get a
hold of somebody, I start trying the light on and off.

Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
Yeah, eight seven seven forty four Woodie text over to
two two nine eight seven more Woody shows.

Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
Next, hext.

Speaker 4 (01:05:09):
Your mom's box.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
By the way, it's.

Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
Conversations like this which keep us from ever getting nominated
for any kind of industry awards. Show Now I feel
like an idiot. All right, Well, there's a couple back
to school stories to tell you about. It is back
to school season, you guys. Yeah, yeah, yep, sure is

(01:05:33):
love it well. A thirteen year old Arizona kid is
facing misdemeanor assault charges after he and his two friends
participated in a game of dodgeball. This is during gym class,
and the charges come from a girl who got hit
with the dodgeballs in the course of the game. And
ended up with a couple of bruises. The kid admits
that he hit her, even said he quote targeted her

(01:05:55):
a little bit, but argues that's literally how dodgeball works.
Do you have to target hit somebody? Yeah, right, you
just don't close your eyes and throw it and hope
it hits somebody.

Speaker 12 (01:06:05):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
The school never disciplined them. The mom says she didn't
even know about the charge until months later, and so
now the case is going to court. Stupid, we're wasting
time with this in a court over dodgeball. The kids involved,
they're all fighting the charges. So, you know, enjoyed gym
class while you can kids. Wow, you're gonna need a
lawyer and a permission slip. And for the most part,

(01:06:26):
I thought they had outlawed dodgeball because it's bullying or
you know.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
I nuclear hated. Oh we loved it.

Speaker 9 (01:06:37):
It's fun to run from too, it's fun to you know,
not just be the thrower.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
I just hated all of it, Like, what didn't you
like about it? I was such a puss and I
hated are you throwing?

Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
Can you throw? Can you throw like a baseball? Or
do you throw like a girl?

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
If I use my left hand. You would think I
was a girl.

Speaker 4 (01:06:53):
I mean, I think every guy, if you're I saw
a funny video where this guy's while it's a it's
a comedy video. The guy's walking hand in hand with
girlfriend and uh, there's like a ball from these kids
who are playing, and he picks it up, but he
picked it up with his left hand, and he's like,
I don't want to let go my girlfriend's hand, but
I can't let her see me throw with his left hand.
And he throws it like a total girl and she's disgusted.

(01:07:17):
Should be with your actual like your your dominant throwing,
not anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
I mean as a kid, I was pretty good at it.
I just hated the whole concept of it.

Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
I can understand being scared of it. If you if
you couldn't throw the dodgeball, know, because.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
You know you get throwing. I really hated getting hit ball.

Speaker 5 (01:07:36):
Did you play that one game? I mean it was
it was called something different in what He's day, but
in my day we called the stick the dick.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
Yeah, oh yeah, I forgot how that works, but yeah
we did that.

Speaker 5 (01:07:48):
I mean the version that we played is like you
pretty much had to run a football field with no
padding at all, and you had the ball and everybody's
trying to tackle you to get the ball back and
then run into the end zone. So you try to
get from one end zone to the other end zone
pretty bad.

Speaker 9 (01:08:04):
It's on the red rover with dude that also could
mess you up.

Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
People would pee blood after.

Speaker 11 (01:08:10):
You know what.

Speaker 7 (01:08:11):
You know, what game is currently prohibited at the playground
at my son's school, Tag the fag just taghag because
kids get pushed to the ground and get scraped up.

Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
What yeah, oh come on, he goes goes.

Speaker 7 (01:08:27):
But we played anyway, but it's it's in the supposed
to play tag No kidding, Yeah what tag on?

Speaker 5 (01:08:34):
Like?

Speaker 7 (01:08:34):
You know, because they're not on like soft bouncy house foam,
they're on a blacktop that's supposed to play it.

Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
What kind of for dodgeball? What were they using for
the dodgeballs? Greg, those red rubber playground balls because didn't
hurt the man. At some point the upgraded. I remember
at school they upgraded and they went from the full
sized ones that you would play four square with to
smaller ones that were almost like the size of those
Papa shot basketballs exactly. You could whip those dude, you.

Speaker 5 (01:09:01):
Could hear them go through the air like they would
make it sound.

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Yeah. The other game that I thought was boring. I
think it was called Capture the Flag.

Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
Oh yeah, that was cool.

Speaker 13 (01:09:10):
It was kind of dumb, really, because I thought, how
are we supposed to get this from here to over there?
There's a million people.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
That was the game.

Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
Yeah, yeah, that was the game. Otherwise, another school news
story a high school in Texas has gotten viral. They
have a female dress code for the girls in the
school band, and the school was working on figuring out
which sports bras and shapewear should be permitted. So in
order to figure this out, they wanted the girls to
do a jump test.

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
See if the bras fit them.

Speaker 9 (01:09:44):
Guys will go to any length thing.

Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
It says, I look, I'm just reading the article and
I can tell you this is a bad idea that
it is going to be problematic.

Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
You think to use it today? Phrase right.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
The policy specifically says if you jump multiple times in
a row and there was a noticeable movement, size down
or find a new sports bra style or fit and
the rule and the shapewear is mandatory for all girls
in band uniforms.

Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
The parents.

Speaker 4 (01:10:13):
They're pissed, you know. But the band director came out
clarified that the test is something the chicks should do
themselves in private. It's like they're doing it and you know,
that's a good or her. I'm not sure if it's
him or her. I'm assuming it's to him to inspect.
But uh oh, he still didn't apologize, so it is.

Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
I knew it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:34):
I knew he still didn't apologize. I'm going to have
to double check this for the policy general bra question.

Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
What's the difference between a bra and a sports bra.

Speaker 9 (01:10:43):
There are kind of two different things. A bra has
like two cups, one over each.

Speaker 4 (01:10:47):
Boot and straps and they hook and everything else.

Speaker 9 (01:10:50):
And a sports bra is kind of like a tank
top that you put over your head and it just
ends under your boots.

Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
Okay, like a tight tank top.

Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
It's more comfortable. Oh yeah, well then why not just
wear sports bras?

Speaker 9 (01:11:00):
They don't always look you. It makes you look you. Yeah,
you do get a universe.

Speaker 4 (01:11:07):
Yeah, but uh yeah, I'm trying to think of some
of the other games that we played.

Speaker 13 (01:11:13):
Yeah we did doodle. Oh, I still do that thing
where they have to climb the rope to the very top.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
Of the gym.

Speaker 4 (01:11:20):
How would you do that was more for like the
fitness tests and things like that. I'm trying to like
some of the other games that we did.

Speaker 9 (01:11:26):
They get too chunky for that. I don't think kids
can do it.

Speaker 5 (01:11:29):
What about well, I don't know that this was an
official game, but we did a thing called Tarzan where
we would just like go on the swing and we
try to swing as high as we can and then
we would jump off, but then hold on to the
chain and then swing back down, back and forth.

Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
That reminds me of another one of the same thing.
Monkey bars were just from one side or the other
and someone would hang in the middle and everybody else
would try to like get that person down. The other
person had to hang on and use their feet to
kick everybody away to see them, just to see if
you can keep everybody like to fight everybody off.

Speaker 9 (01:12:01):
Sammy, I know you'll you'll remember this.

Speaker 18 (01:12:02):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:12:03):
It's like I wasn't in gymnastics or anything. You're just
a kid, and like especially girls, I don't know boys
did this, but on the monkey bars, we all knew
how to like do back flips off the monkey bars.
You know, you hang off backwards you flip off Like
it was no idea, Like kids just inherently know how
to do cool stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:12:18):
Yeah, it wasn't a game. But speaking of things that
wouldn't fly today, you know, the like on the back
of a shirt, there's that little loop sometimes like on
a button down shirt. What do they call that? And
when you were growing up.

Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
Oh, I know what they called it? In mind?

Speaker 4 (01:12:34):
It was the fruit loop the Yeah. See the fruit
at our school was the fac tag and so like
like if your shirt had one, other people would try
to and you had to keep people from ripping it off,
Like people would tear it off your shirt.

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
Yeah yeah, and it would destroy the whole back of.

Speaker 9 (01:12:53):
The are barbarious?

Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
Yeah, we're just dudes.

Speaker 9 (01:12:56):
I've never know.

Speaker 4 (01:12:57):
And it had nothing to do with anything else.

Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
It's just what it was called.

Speaker 4 (01:13:00):
I don't know why.

Speaker 7 (01:13:01):
It wasn't like exactly like there's a there's a loop
on someone's shirt, let's destroy it.

Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
Such a boy.

Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
It's a weird phenomena. Were you obsessed as kids.

Speaker 4 (01:13:11):
To the pencil fights? Remember pencil fights?

Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
Yeah? Yeah, Like I would hold a.

Speaker 4 (01:13:16):
Pencil like, you know, between my two hands, and then
Greg would take it and use the the eraser end
and smack it in the middle and then and then
I would hold mine now and then I would do that,
and you go back and forth. Someone's pencil broke, and
the whole idea is you would take the eraser, the
rubber part out of the eraser or the end of
the pencil, and you kind of sharpen it a little bit,
like you get it down to like a point. It

(01:13:37):
would almost start chipping away at the wood of the
pencil until you, like, you know, sometimes your pencil would
break because you get a little too aggressive with like
holding your pencil back to try to break the other
person's pencil.

Speaker 5 (01:13:49):
We used to say rubber bands and like paper clips
and then like pull. Also we did this thing you
better run fast because we found drug needles out on
the playground, so they would try to stab each other.

Speaker 9 (01:14:04):
Did you grow up in like mad Max thud?

Speaker 4 (01:14:08):
No, But if we would have found those, we probably
would have done something like that. Yeah, we were dumb,
your kids were boys. We were just doing coonie shots,
figger football with the paper. She was the one you
were talking about the other day.

Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
You wanted to do with Morgan? What was mash oh?

Speaker 14 (01:14:25):
Yeah, which is just you write down on a piece
of paper, you write mash at the top and.

Speaker 4 (01:14:30):
Was mansion, apartment, shack or house which is where you're
going to live.

Speaker 17 (01:14:34):
And there's all different categories.

Speaker 14 (01:14:36):
And then there are people right who you're gonna marry,
So you know, you'd be like Justin Timberlake, Jonathan Taylor, Thomas,
and so you'd have a list of people of who
you're going to marry, and then what your job is about,
how many kind of car you would have, how many
kids you would have.

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
Yeah, I remember the Chicks doing that.

Speaker 9 (01:14:54):
Yeah, it was a slumber party staple.

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
And then somebody would go, oh, you know, Sammy just
got your name and you guys are going to live
in a mansion or whatever it would be. Yeah, and
you're like, oh, yeah, cool.

Speaker 5 (01:15:04):
Because when you brought that up, when I thought you
were talking about is it like the finger trapped thing,
the fortune.

Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
Teller thing, open close, open clothes?

Speaker 18 (01:15:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
The number is that different or was that the same?

Speaker 4 (01:15:17):
No, it's different. Yeah, this is just do it on
a piece of paper, you draw square, just mash across,
and then down the side would be the name of
these you know dudes with the name of the chicks,
and then the kind of a car, and then whatever
the else A that thing I forget like what it
was like how you would go around to like start
crossing the other ones off to narrow them down.

Speaker 7 (01:15:33):
It's however many letters are in their name, right, that's
how you're counting across.

Speaker 4 (01:15:40):
Yeah, all right, eight seven seven forty four. Yeah, titty
twisters purple nurples in Tokyo. Yeah yeah, just you go
up and just wrench on something. Two for flinching was
always big.

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:15:52):
Man, this one kid, Hassan Collier, I'll never forget. This
kid hits so hard, like your bruises would turn purple
purple and that yellow. You know how you ever have
a brew is so bad.

Speaker 9 (01:16:03):
You are like the male equivalent of a basic bitch.

Speaker 8 (01:16:06):
Basic means you will go with the most basic popular option,
don't and you have no thoughts originality in your brain.

Speaker 4 (01:16:12):
You just go for what everyone else is doing.

Speaker 16 (01:16:14):
Basic.

Speaker 4 (01:16:15):
The Woody Show, Welcome back, It is the Woody Show,
Woody Greg mad Is, Yeah, Jini grad Yeah uh you
guys remember when I got introduced to that band of
Dogma society of Yeah, I don't know what it was

(01:16:36):
about those guys, I'm like, man, I really like I
really like their music and it was brabdu Yeah, it
was just I saw this post on on Instagram. I'm like, Wow,
these guys are pretty cool. Looked into it, reached out
to them, got them, you know, got them on the air,
you know, played their songs and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
Right, Yeah, it's cool.

Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
Well this just happened. Read I played like a little
clip for you Greg a couple of weeks ago. I'm here,
check this out, same thing where this Uh, this chick
is just making music in like a room, like in
our bedroom or something like that, sitting on her bed.
I remember that, holding a microphone, like a little keyboard
and stuff like that. So I'm like this, this sounds
like something Greg would love. I thought it was cool.

(01:17:17):
I thought it was cool. She does a mix of
like some original songs. But then also she does some
really cool covers.

Speaker 2 (01:17:22):
The covers were great. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:17:24):
I would like to introduce you to her right now.
And uh, her name is Frankie. Her name is Frankie White,
and she's on the phone. I do believe Frankie, are
you there? OK, this is this is Frankie.

Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Everybody.

Speaker 4 (01:17:42):
Frank Hey, thanks thanks for coming on. I just don't
really know. I just don't really know much about you
other than a couple of these clips and stuff that
I've I've seen on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (01:17:52):
They're so damn good.

Speaker 4 (01:17:53):
But you're not signed to any kind of record label
or anything, are you?

Speaker 15 (01:17:57):
No, I'm not. I'm on a Creiz contract right now.
So I'm gonna last making these videos in my cruise room.

Speaker 6 (01:18:02):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
Nice cool, And from what I understand, like that's pretty
much all the equipment. That's pretty cool. What you could
do now minimal equipment. It's like a laptop and a
couple of little things and and uh, and you can
just you could just make these songs like where where
did this start? Like where did they come from? Are
you just like you just decided to start messing around
with music production?

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
And like what do you what do you trying to
do with this?

Speaker 16 (01:18:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 19 (01:18:24):
Yeah, So I've been making music for for forever and
recently I got on this cruise ship stuff. I was
doing like acoustic stuff for the longest time, but I
can't really bring a keyboard and like a guitar and
a full setup in my cruise ship room. So I
was like, all right, it's time to do production. Started experimenting,
and I'm loving the new direction.

Speaker 4 (01:18:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:18:41):
The goal is to you know, be be an artist
and to you know, to just put my music out
there and thank you guys for having me on. I'm
glad you like it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:49):
Of course, just off Instagram. This this stops up is
going to happen for you. Yeah, music's so good, dude.
You know what's so crazy, Frankie.

Speaker 5 (01:18:59):
I had no idea that you were going to be
on the show, and we didn't have a discussion, but
I follow you on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (01:19:05):
I was like, oh, this music's kind of cool.

Speaker 15 (01:19:07):
Well really yeah, oh my gosh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:19:10):
Yeah, this is insane.

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
So what were you doing before all this? I mean,
you're you're you're a younger person, but not not not
a teenager, but a younger person. You've you must have
been working, you know, before you decided to kind of
put everything full time in the music. What kind of
work were you doing?

Speaker 15 (01:19:27):
Yeah, I was working at a part time the middle maybe.
I mean I was doing like live teams on TikTok
and stuff. You know, it's just been like service in
the free job after service industry jobs because I don't
really have I don't really want to have a plan
b you know what I mean, I'm just gonna I'm
just gonna's.

Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
And where are you from? You're from Vermont or something
right like somewhere.

Speaker 19 (01:19:44):
Yeah, from Vermont.

Speaker 15 (01:19:45):
Yeah. I moved to Nashville last year to uh, just
to be around the industry and stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:19:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
And then now she's in Alaska and she's, you know,
making making music in her cruise ship.

Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
Yeah. If research right where you played me, there was
a Nirvana cover, right.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
Yes, and that's the one.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
I loved it because it's so different and unexpected.

Speaker 4 (01:20:08):
So yeah, so tell tell us a little bit about this,
Like you just put this little clip online and that's
the one that I saw on them. I hate great.

Speaker 2 (01:20:16):
Check this out.

Speaker 4 (01:20:16):
I think you really dig this. But there wasn't available
as a like a full length cover, and so I
reached out to Frankie on Instagram. I said, Hey, as
I really like this song. It sounds really cool. Is
there a chance that you could send me, like, is
there a full length of this? I'd like to play
it on our show. And that's how we ended up
where we are right here today. But you are actually

(01:20:36):
releasing this, uh the full version mm hmm, and where
where can people find that?

Speaker 15 (01:20:44):
Yeah, they can find it on Spotify, Apple Music, title, YouTube,
and I think like Deeser and stuff is going to
come Amazon Music.

Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
Yeah, yeah, I saw it because I was on looking
at her stuff. I go on Apple Music and there's
there's a song on there too. It's not a cover,
I don't. I don't believe it's a cover unless it's
a song i'd never heard before until you did. It's
called Better. I thought that was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
I really like that.

Speaker 4 (01:21:06):
Uh there's a is it Tears for Fears? What's what's
the no? Is it hallo notes? Hollow notes?

Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
Maybe? Hold on?

Speaker 18 (01:21:12):
No no?

Speaker 2 (01:21:13):
I think, yeah, yeah, yeah, hold on.

Speaker 4 (01:21:15):
I'm looking because I was. I was listening to My
wife goes, what are you listening to?

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
Who is that? Because she really she.

Speaker 4 (01:21:21):
Really likes the uh the song Frankie White again, look
at it on whatever you stream your music. I'm looking
right now. Yeah, there's like a cover of Wonderwall in here.

Speaker 10 (01:21:30):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
Oh, never Tear Us Apart is good? Take on me?

Speaker 2 (01:21:33):
Oh yeah, aha, take on me? She does.

Speaker 4 (01:21:37):
She does a cover of that too.

Speaker 2 (01:21:39):
But I like the descriptor of Nirvana Heart Shaped Box

Corinthia here on the d uy Q. What land does
the train go to? In mister Rogers, neighborhood.

Speaker 9 (01:28:58):

Speaker 9 (01:29:25):
Watched it as an adult with a child.

Speaker 4 (01:29:27):

of the original Wizard of Oz.

Speaker 9 (01:29:44):
And tries to unscare the children, like, look, it's just
a fake case.

Speaker 4 (01:29:47):

mask on. Oh yeah, that's pretty funy I forgot about
xCl are you yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, let's

Speaker 18 (01:30:28):

Speaker 4 (01:30:28):
I don't want to have too much time to think
about it. Yeah, but in the spirit of the contest,
all right, but do we think that uh, our friend
Corinthia is gonna know this.

Speaker 2 (01:30:36):

Speaker 18 (01:30:51):

Speaker 4 (01:30:54):
All right, question number two, d uy Q. What is
two hundred and fifty plus three hundred and.

Speaker 2 (01:30:59):
Fifty fifty.

Speaker 9 (01:31:03):

Speaker 2 (01:31:06):
What can I get for that?

Speaker 16 (01:31:08):
A date?

Speaker 2 (01:31:11):
That's right? Nice?

Speaker 3 (01:31:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:31:15):
Is she worth that?

Speaker 18 (01:31:16):
Now?

Speaker 9 (01:31:18):
How did you guys calculate that in your head?

Speaker 14 (01:31:21):
I added the two hundred and three hundred, which was
five hundred and then the fifties.

Speaker 5 (01:31:24):
That's what I did too.

Speaker 4 (01:31:26):
Yeah, that's mine.

Speaker 2 (01:31:29):
You did it. No, it's just it's just yeah, that's
what I was going to say.

Speaker 17 (01:31:35):
He's a photographic memory.

Speaker 4 (01:31:36):
Well, Johnson, congratulations, you're the winner here on.

Speaker 3 (01:31:38):

Speaker 4 (01:31:57):
Mister mcpheeley was the delivery the mailman.

Speaker 2 (01:32:00):

Speaker 4 (01:32:03):
How about this character.

Speaker 8 (01:32:06):
Flake especially he was the inventor who lived in the
land of faithfully named after.

Speaker 4 (01:32:12):
Yes, corn flicks that one doesn't sound familiar, that one.
I see his picture. I recognize him. Yeah, I didn't
remember the.

Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
Yeah, that one. That one. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:32:20):
Who's the guy who ran the music store.

Speaker 2 (01:32:22):
I forget his name.

Speaker 9 (01:32:23):
I can't help you with these tertiary characters.

Speaker 4 (01:32:27):
He would go down the street and to the music
the music shop, and he would get drugs, yes, prostitutes.

Speaker 2 (01:32:35):
Joe.

Speaker 4 (01:32:35):
He was the handyman Joe. Yeah, there was a guy's
music shop.

Speaker 18 (01:32:41):
It was it.

Speaker 4 (01:32:42):
He was also a handyman. He did music and he
was a handyman, real life Jack Kidd. Also, it was
cool that mister Rogers had a traffic light between the
living room and the kitchen, and it was right by
the fish tank that he would, you know, he'd feed
the fish before he'd leave to go make some more
kills out in the street. Yeah, yeah, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
Question Question number three d uy Q.

Speaker 4 (01:33:04):
What is the medal awarded for someone wounded in military service?

Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
Okay, triple no?

Speaker 9 (01:33:10):
I think yes, yes, no. I think the only one
who doesn't know it is Corinthia.

Speaker 4 (01:33:14):
Yeah, definitely know for her.

Speaker 2 (01:33:16):
I think they know it.

Speaker 4 (01:33:18):
I think Sammy, yes, man, it's your tough for me today,
hard to read. I'm gonna say, yeah, what's going on?
Yes for Sammy, No, for Menace. No for Crinthia, triple no,
yeah for Greg yes in the room, No to Corinthia,
all right. Question number three, do uy Q? What is
the medal awarded for someone wounded in military service?

Speaker 2 (01:33:42):
Menace? I was hoping Sam would go first, but no, No,
I knew it.

Speaker 6 (01:33:46):
I know it.

Speaker 2 (01:33:47):
It's purple heart, but I was wondering if Samy.

Speaker 16 (01:33:50):
Would know it.

Speaker 4 (01:33:50):
All right, Sammy purple heart, Okay, you want to get
my paper?

Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
Damn, gir, I just wasn't confident in you, my bad Damn.

Speaker 4 (01:34:01):
I just thought you were dumb. That's allah. Yeah, cheater,
all right. Question number three, d u i Q, what
is the medal awarded for someone wounded in military service?
Of honor?

Speaker 9 (01:34:12):
He's that badge of honor?

Speaker 4 (01:34:13):
Are you going with her?

Speaker 9 (01:34:15):
I had not got an answer, all right, well, badge
of honor?

Speaker 2 (01:34:19):
Bad Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:34:20):
I thought maybe like somebody would guess, like the Medal
of Freedom, you know, because those are given out every
once in a while, Medal of honor. Obviously, medal of honor.

Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
You don't necessarily have to be hurt to get that. Yeah,
because I think we're right.

Speaker 4 (01:34:35):
I was when I was trying to guess what the
answer what they might say, what it might be, what
might come to mind?

Speaker 2 (01:34:40):
First?

Speaker 4 (01:34:41):
That splinter cell? Yeah, eight seven seven forty four? What
he congratulations to Jonathan winner of the d uy Q
and it's his birthday. Well, I'll take a quick break
more what he show his next show.

Speaker 2 (01:34:51):
We'll be right, we'll be right, we'll be right, badge.

Speaker 4 (01:35:00):
All right, And I already forget I had it, and
then the thought who disappeared? I forget what I wanted
to bring up. Damn it?

Speaker 2 (01:35:13):
Yeah, he go, damn what was it?

Speaker 4 (01:35:18):
Hold on? Hold on?

Speaker 2 (01:35:20):
Do you have a stack of papers?

Speaker 18 (01:35:22):
I got?

Speaker 4 (01:35:22):
I got something else. When we were just talking to
somebody off the air, everyone was like, oh, yeah, I
wanted I wanted to bring that up. And now I
forget what it was. Damn it, brain fart?

Speaker 2 (01:35:32):
Who cares? All right, move, move, moving on.

Speaker 4 (01:35:35):
We were talking about first class and some people say
that first class is not worth it. We were talking
to what's that overrated? Yeah, that it's that it's overrated.
It's basically just a bigger seat. Yeah, we were playing
that a clip from the comedian Joe Joe DeRosa. Yeah,
he was the one I was talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
Is a hustle quality? Quality is a hustle. It's fake,
doesn't exist. First Class is.

Speaker 4 (01:36:01):
A perfect example of what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:36:03):
First class sucks.

Speaker 4 (01:36:06):
It's a chair you can fit in, that's all it is.

Speaker 2 (01:36:13):
But they make coach class.

Speaker 4 (01:36:15):
So utterly that by the time you get up to
first class you're like, oh my god, this is fantastic.
My kneecaps aren't turning inside out from the scene in
front of me.

Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
At I get free range juice before takeoff?

Speaker 4 (01:36:28):
What am I a princess? This was definitely worth an
extra seventeen hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
That's a Tampa. That's aw Joe DeRosa. So what's a luxury?

Speaker 4 (01:36:42):
This is the question, what's a luxury that you stopped
wanting after you first experienced it? Like, Oh, it's hard
to tell because I kind of love luxuries. I mean
he does. It's usually the other way around. It's like, oh,
I can't go back the other way.

Speaker 8 (01:36:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
True, you get spoiled on something.

Speaker 8 (01:36:58):
Oh for sure, this wasn't as a I almost never
have done this in my life. But name brand clothes, Yeah,
like designer clothes not worth any It's just it's just
a price tag of thousands.

Speaker 4 (01:37:10):
Yeah, I mean, doesn't the excitement kind of go away
after the purchase. Like I could see where it'd be like,
oh my god, I'm getting a whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:37:17):
Whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (01:37:18):
But then once you have it, just now you're like, man,
did I really spend that much money on it?

Speaker 8 (01:37:23):
Just like I remember my girl girlfriend in college taking
me to Abercromby because she wanted because that was the thing.

Speaker 4 (01:37:27):
Like, this is not worth forty five dollars, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:37:30):
Mod make that exactly, thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:37:34):
I've only I've only had this a number, like a
small number of times where I've been somewhere where there
was bottle service.

Speaker 2 (01:37:41):
Oh you know that once.

Speaker 4 (01:37:43):
Not worth it at all, Not worth that same bottle
of Tetos.

Speaker 2 (01:37:48):
Yeah, the forty five dollars Sky vodka is six.

Speaker 9 (01:37:52):
What you what you're really paying for is to be
able to sit down, That's all that is.

Speaker 4 (01:37:56):
Yeah, without having the.

Speaker 2 (01:37:57):
Weight on the bar tak do you get sparklers on
the bottles?

Speaker 4 (01:38:00):
Yeah? The bottle service thing, I mean, you know, it's
so it's so underwhelming. I know a lot of people
say about first class.

Speaker 2 (01:38:08):
You know kind I mean I definitely disagree with that.

Speaker 8 (01:38:10):
Oh, completely disagree because he's making the statement, he's making
the argument in his statement is, Oh, it's a seat
that's comfortable, and yeah, by definition, the other ones aren't.

Speaker 9 (01:38:20):
And yeah, I think the point is that should be
the standard.

Speaker 7 (01:38:22):
But they've made economies so unsuitable, and you know, it's
so horrible and I hate.

Speaker 4 (01:38:28):
I hate to be the guy goes, well, you know,
in other countries blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
But I read about it a lot, not that I've
experienced it really other than Emirates when medicine, I did
that Dubai thing. You know, a lot of the other
like not the domestic airlines their first class like just
craps all over anything domestic. Yeah, you know, like we
talked about American airlines. It's a bigger seat, but there's

(01:38:50):
no seat back entertainment, you know, like you know, monitors
and stuff like that they have. They have the little
like just domestic first class on American airlines, they have
the little tab thing that ups down that you can
put your little phone on.

Speaker 8 (01:39:01):
Yeah, you're just getting a wider yeah, right, as a
frequent first class or that is very disappointing, Like the.

Speaker 4 (01:39:08):
Other one that I will say, a luxury that I
lost all interest in after I experienced for the first
time going to Michelin Star restaurants, I.

Speaker 2 (01:39:16):
Was going to say the same thing. Restaurants are are tiny.

Speaker 4 (01:39:21):
Yeah, yeah, they go out of their way to be
like goofy, like oh wow. And it's also a Michelin
Star meet the tire company.

Speaker 5 (01:39:30):
Yeah yeah, it's all part of a game to become
a Michelin Star restaurant.

Speaker 2 (01:39:35):
Too, doesn't mean that it's actually good.

Speaker 7 (01:39:38):
And do you know how the Michelin Star rating got
started because, like you said, the tire company wanted people
driving farther away to these restaurants so they would buy
more tires.

Speaker 4 (01:39:46):
Yeah funny, Yeah, I remember hearing the story at one point.
But yeah, every time I've been to a Michelin Star
or like that, that that type of restaurant where you know,
did you look at the menu before you even went?
I didn't gonna hold it must be really good. And
I got there, I'm like, everything's weird, you know, everything
like you said, super tiny.

Speaker 14 (01:40:10):
I went to one and it was The food was
really good, but with the small plates, after a while
I did start getting full because there's so many courses
that they keep bringing out that then I felt bad
if I didn't eat because they were gonna know.

Speaker 4 (01:40:21):
It was like they were watching. But you need seventy
courses because each course is three bites, you'll leave starving.
Greg would say, are these portions for a mosquito?

Speaker 2 (01:40:32):
A humming bird would get full on this?

Speaker 4 (01:40:34):
All right, here's a couple of other things that people mentioned.
Asked that question, what luxury did you stop wanting after
you first experienced it? Hot tubs made the law.

Speaker 2 (01:40:43):
I still want one, Like God, I want one.

Speaker 4 (01:40:46):
You know what, as someone who has a hot tub,
we have a hot tub in a pool. If I
had to choose between one and the other, I'd take
the hot tub. Yeah, yeah, give more use, more use.
I would turn the pull up to like ninety five.

Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
Make it.

Speaker 4 (01:41:01):
I'm saying, like more use out of the hot tub
compared to the pool. Yeah, but yeah, I don't. I
don't mind. Now, if we're talking about inside the house,
different you know, like a like a jetted tub and
a master I'm sorry, primary bathroom. You can't say master,
you know, like that like a jacuzzi tub. No thanks,
But like you know, the outside.

Speaker 2 (01:41:22):
On a cold winter night going on.

Speaker 4 (01:41:25):
Inside your hotel room.

Speaker 2 (01:41:28):
Never used it?

Speaker 4 (01:41:29):
Awesome I've had rooms that have had it and I've
never used it.

Speaker 18 (01:41:31):
Once.

Speaker 4 (01:41:32):
You're saying the luxere is tachy. Yes, you're saying the
strat is tachy slightly.

Speaker 18 (01:41:39):
Here.

Speaker 4 (01:41:40):
This just came in on the text three two three,
and it was also on the other list here. V
I P at music festivals, yes, or vi P at concerts.
I've done it twice and I've gotten the same view
from general admission just show up early, yeah, just wait
for hours.

Speaker 2 (01:41:54):
It varies.

Speaker 4 (01:41:56):
If everyone says it's just fenced off seating areas, better.

Speaker 5 (01:42:00):
Food options, I would say that the VIP varies. There
are some festivals where the VIP is just as good
as GA, but then there are festivals that have VIP
and it's just like wow, it's it's just on another
level compared to everything.

Speaker 4 (01:42:17):
Could you not make the comparison to first class? It's
basically just you know, like for the price difference between
price difference between getting to the concert early general mission
and then VIP, the cost difference in that to what
you actually get worth it.

Speaker 8 (01:42:34):
Yes, yeah, I thought, because what they're talking about early,
that's like you're talking about like six hours. And then
by the way, you want to go back to your spot.

Speaker 16 (01:42:41):
You're not.

Speaker 8 (01:42:41):
First off, you're not getting back. But then you've got
let's say Coachella or whatever, you've got two hundred thousand
people behind you.

Speaker 4 (01:42:46):
You got to get through. Yeah, yeah, I'll add one.
I saw another one lucked out and I was given
these seats. I didn't I didn't pay for them, but
I saw what they were going for. Seats on the
glass at a hot.

Speaker 2 (01:43:00):
Game, so much fun.

Speaker 4 (01:43:02):
Overrated, overrated because you can't see down in front of you,
like hockey. Hockey is one of those you need to
be I don't know. I would say minimum twenty or
thirty rows back and you have a full view of
the ice, but you're still really close. I get that, Yeah,
because there's a lot of that where you can't see
down in front of you because of where the seat like. Yeah,
so that's a good for most amphitheaters. That's appropriate too.

Speaker 7 (01:43:24):
Also, unless you're a high school senior going to prom
limousines and like stretch limo, it just pick me.

Speaker 4 (01:43:30):
I don't really see limos anymore, only like in a
place like Vegas. Yeah. Yeah, and then I one more
that people meant owning a boat, which we've heard before
we know, like there their money pays. Yeah, so it's like, yeah,
they say boat stands for bust out another thousand. Yeah,
it's at least a thousand for everything, and there's a

(01:43:56):
there's a number of things that interest Menace. Yes, but
he really does have a love affair with Tyler.

Speaker 2 (01:44:06):
And then Walmart.

Speaker 5 (01:44:08):
Him some Walmart, Walmart, Target Costco.

Speaker 4 (01:44:10):
Yeah, but Walmart in particular, Like I think you talked
the most about Walmart.

Speaker 5 (01:44:15):
Yeah, because again, the exclusives that they have and then uh,
just pure convenience. But there's some Walmarts that I don't like.
The lighting is terrible and it makes me depressed. But
then there's like the new super Walmarts that are bright
and beautiful and clean and they're awesome.

Speaker 4 (01:44:31):
And there's always entertainment at the Walmart. You're abound to
see something. There was just a story, I think it
was a Tennessee your home state, Sea Bass where they
were closing up the store getting ready to go home.
They heard some noises and they.

Speaker 2 (01:44:44):
Found this guy.

Speaker 4 (01:44:45):
He had smashed his way through one of the doors
and then ran through the store, did a bunch of damage.
They didn't approach him. They called the cops. Cops show up.
They found the guy. He was passed out on a
pile of dog food. But then he got up and
he bolted across the store when he saw the hops
and he was butt ass naked too Walmart.

Speaker 2 (01:45:03):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:45:05):
Deals and a show that doesn't happen in Bloomingdale. No, yeah,
you got tackled. They gave him the breath Flyzer. Was
he drunk, Greg?

Speaker 18 (01:45:14):
He was? Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:45:15):
So there's always something fun and entertaining happening the time.
And we have a wood Show Taste drive today with Menace.
Yeah is his favorite place. And he brought back some
of these exclusives.

Speaker 2 (01:45:25):
Yeah, I do. And then, uh so Jeff's can help me.
I want to.

Speaker 5 (01:45:30):
I wanted to get a reaction on these, but they're
actually their soup and I need Jeff to warm them
up for me. But uh, the first soup is cheeseburger soup.

Speaker 2 (01:45:43):
They sound like good.

Speaker 4 (01:45:44):
They sell chili chili mixing stuff like that and bags
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:45:47):
Yeah, they're not bad.

Speaker 5 (01:45:48):
And then so you cut off the top, Sammy's gonna
love it and you uh, you just heat it up
for like about ninety seconds. And then they also have
a pizza. Oh, proper good good.

Speaker 4 (01:45:59):
So tomato proper good. I believe that's uh Connor McGregor's brand,
all right.

Speaker 2 (01:46:06):
Something about a bag that's weird like tuna and so that.

Speaker 4 (01:46:10):
So the oh, the soup pouch is not it's not dry?

Speaker 9 (01:46:14):
Ready to do?

Speaker 17 (01:46:16):
It looks like it's like freeze dried kind.

Speaker 4 (01:46:18):
Of you know food. You know that I was thinking about, right,
say I like those types of mixes, Yeah, soups and
the dry ones.

Speaker 2 (01:46:27):
Greg's point.

Speaker 4 (01:46:28):
I agree.

Speaker 8 (01:46:28):
I got some mackerel in a bag recently. It doesn't
seem to say, I know, I thought the same thing
tastes just like to.

Speaker 5 (01:46:36):
Now, while he's getting this soup ready, I have another
item for you.

Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
It's called.

Speaker 5 (01:46:40):
Drizzless driz delicious.

Speaker 4 (01:46:46):
We could say, what is it that. If the word
is delicious, what would this be? Rizzlicious is drizzle?

Speaker 2 (01:46:58):
What would this be.

Speaker 4 (01:47:00):
Riz? I don't know rizlious bites drizzlous. It's drizzling drizzlicious
because they have like I missed the whole middle of
it there low calorie.

Speaker 2 (01:47:16):
All right.

Speaker 4 (01:47:17):
So these are many rice cakes reimagined pumpkin spice rice
cake bites.

Speaker 2 (01:47:23):
I thought I would hate them. They're actually pretty xample.

Speaker 4 (01:47:26):
Yeah, it says they're drizzled and they're delicious.

Speaker 5 (01:47:29):
Delicious apple pie, but they were sold out.

Speaker 2 (01:47:32):
Yeah, a little frosting in there, that's good, all.

Speaker 4 (01:47:35):
Right, King of Descriptions, give us a description, and what
your thoughts.

Speaker 13 (01:47:40):
Are on the delicious airy and crunchy not rice cakey
at all, because those have a weird, dry, styrofoam type feel.
These are kind of melting your mouth crunch and then
there is frosting on them, which is a delightful creamy surprise.

Speaker 9 (01:47:58):
I like that, But they are good.

Speaker 4 (01:48:00):
I like that the serving size is one bag, they know, like,
not like four Well here's I think that's not that's
not low calorie by by weight. His bag's only point
seventy four ounces, so sure. But what I'm saying is
I like how they don't even like try to pretend
like you're not gonna eat the whole bag of these things.

Speaker 5 (01:48:19):
Of course, I brought in my somalier to uh get
some drinks ready for us so we can wash some
stuff down.

Speaker 16 (01:48:25):
Now.

Speaker 5 (01:48:25):
The drink that I got was Welcher's Sparkling Strawberry Welchescher Okay,
sparkling Strawberry strawberry Welchers, doesn't.

Speaker 4 (01:48:34):
It doesn't pay back bets Welchers. Well, welches, welches remember.

Speaker 5 (01:48:39):
That anyway, got that one, and then I got uh,
sparkling red grape.

Speaker 4 (01:48:46):
Sparkling red grape.

Speaker 5 (01:48:48):
Strawberry said that he had a hat for Tyler to
wear as he's pouring for.

Speaker 8 (01:48:53):
I saw this came up on a team of all places,
and Jeff g reminded me, this is a perfect hat
for Tyler.

Speaker 4 (01:48:58):
It says what Tyler? Yea, what does it say, Tyler?

Speaker 2 (01:49:01):
Yeah? What does it say?

Speaker 4 (01:49:03):
Pink, bigger, the fua, tastier, the chalupa classic answer that
you wear out.

Speaker 2 (01:49:12):
On a date. All right, don't worry.

Speaker 4 (01:49:14):
I have a bunch of items, Okay, and then, uh,
this is a pop tart.

Speaker 5 (01:49:17):
Now this is pop tart. This is the super stuffed
molten lava pop tart.

Speaker 4 (01:49:24):
Super Okay. I've seen I've seen these on the shelf,
these stuffed pop tarts, which aren't pop tarts by nature stuffed.
They always have stuff on the inside. Is this their
version of like double stuffed Oreos? And maybe my guess, yeah,
I like that.

Speaker 7 (01:49:37):
It feels like there's like one in here. I like
when they because they're stuffed, but I would prefer that
over the two.

Speaker 2 (01:49:43):
Yeah. Yeah, did you get one of those? How fair?

Speaker 19 (01:49:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:49:47):
I got one? And then here's I'm passing the super crown.

Speaker 4 (01:49:50):
Yeah all right here, let's here, we gotta we gotta
go to break. Let's try the soup before the break,
and then you can distribute the welchers and we can
if you want to, because some people I think you
got to give a pop tart. It's proper chance by
warming it if you want, like you got, well, I
could just throw it in the microwave for about twenty seconds.
It'll be forty Yeah, they center of the sun hot.

(01:50:12):
I'm saying that we put a couple in there if
you have me more than one? Right, everybody, what is this?

Speaker 15 (01:50:17):
This?

Speaker 4 (01:50:17):
The pizza one pizza, the Pizza one pizza soups? This
is and he said Connor McGregor's oh, because his his
like proper good is his whiskey or whatever. Oh, this
isn't bad.

Speaker 9 (01:50:29):
This is not bad at all.

Speaker 4 (01:50:30):
Tastes like it tastes like the spaghettios without the noodles,
without the noodles in it. It's a little thin for
my taste.

Speaker 9 (01:50:38):
The little sausage or something meat.

Speaker 4 (01:50:40):
Is a soup. I mean, how thick is like chicken noodle.

Speaker 8 (01:50:41):
Soup When you're when you're advertising cheeseburger, I expect this
is pizza, oh pizza.

Speaker 4 (01:50:48):
Either way, did I give this like a I give
this a nine really really yeah? Yeah, for a soup
and a.

Speaker 2 (01:50:52):
Bag, it's not as bad. I'd give it a six
point five.

Speaker 4 (01:51:00):
The flavor is not flat. There's some punch to it.

Speaker 2 (01:51:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:51:03):
I can definitely taste the pizza like sometimes they'll say, oh,
it's tomato sauce. Well no, no, that's not enough. This
has like some type of maybe like an oregano or
some type. And then also like a hint of a
pepperoni eveno. I don't think there's any pepperoni in there.

Speaker 2 (01:51:16):
It's not bad. Yeah, nine, dude, that's good for soup.

Speaker 4 (01:51:20):
For BA, it's pretty good, all right. Well, the menace
taste drive of Walmart egglusiveslusive. Yep, we're gonna continue next.
He's passing out now, dumbass Tyler wearing his bigger the
chiloop the bigger the fupa, the tastier the chilupa hat.

Speaker 5 (01:51:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:51:36):
Yeah, I don't know the presentation might make it taste better.

Speaker 2 (01:51:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:51:39):
But he's handing out like the Welchers shop and the
pop tarts and almost choked a k A Jean.

Speaker 2 (01:51:47):
Yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (01:51:49):
Anyway, we'll give you the results of those, tell you
if they're worth it.

Speaker 2 (01:51:53):
We buy, We try so.

Speaker 4 (01:51:54):
You don't waste your money.

Speaker 2 (01:51:56):
Show.

Speaker 9 (01:51:57):
I don't like the smell.

Speaker 4 (01:52:01):
The smell, I don't mind. It was the taste of
the cheeseburger soup in the bag. The Walmart exclusive that
to menace product. What's it called better or no proper good,
proper good, proper goods. It's a soup available at Walmart.
Now they're pizza one. That was good. I gave that

(01:52:22):
one a nine.

Speaker 9 (01:52:23):
Yeah, this is the opposite.

Speaker 4 (01:52:24):
This cheeseburger soup is straight garbage.

Speaker 13 (01:52:26):
It is a two at best, absolute best, and I
bet at the company don't even like to check on
the shelf.

Speaker 5 (01:52:36):
There was only one cheeseburger one left and a ton
of the pizza one.

Speaker 4 (01:52:40):
Because I think people just a glance which one would
be better, Probably the cheeseburger one, but they don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:52:47):
It's got beef chunks that are Salisbury steak, but they've
added like an artificial smoke flavored.

Speaker 2 (01:52:52):
It's overpowering exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:52:54):
Yeah, so I gave that one a. I gave that
one to two. And then the stuffed pop tart. What's
the flavor on that one?

Speaker 5 (01:53:02):
This is the chocolate fudge like double stuff lava bland
af To me.

Speaker 2 (01:53:09):
It tastes like a prepackaged brownie that you get in
a vending machine.

Speaker 4 (01:53:12):
To me, that's this is a big winner. This was
a twelve. No, who remembers this is very it is
because what's the biggest problem of pop tarts? Not enough filling? Yeah,
but the filling is very blank. Oh, I love chocolate.
I wanted that to be so good. I love chocolate
lava cake.

Speaker 2 (01:53:28):
I was pleased that the stuffing was slightly gooey.

Speaker 4 (01:53:31):
Yeah, it's yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:53:32):
I mean I thought it was good.

Speaker 4 (01:53:33):
The consistency is good, the amount of filling is good,
Like you mentioned, it was just the chocolate flavoring itself
was not good, and I gave it.

Speaker 2 (01:53:42):
I gave it a two at a seven.

Speaker 5 (01:53:46):
Yeah, Okay, another chocolate item here that I think you
might like.

Speaker 4 (01:53:52):
Has Sammy tried any of this stuff?

Speaker 5 (01:53:53):
Yes, she might start buying one of the items.

Speaker 14 (01:53:56):
I'm giving down on the pumpkins, spice bites, little right, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:54:02):
Now the next item is the ritz fudge.

Speaker 8 (01:54:07):
They had these regular, regular size, don't they the yes, yeah, strike.

Speaker 4 (01:54:17):
The ritz crackers. They dip the bottom so the whole
bottom is covered like in a fudge, and then they
drizzle the top like the keeler ones with the fudge. Now,
there was a friend of mine whose wife would make
her own thin mint girl Scout cookies. And the way
she did it she would have the melted chocolate with
the mint and she would dip its crackers into it.
It tasted like straight up the same because that that

(01:54:39):
Ritz cracker really really did it.

Speaker 9 (01:54:41):
Man, dude, if I was high right now, I would
kill like ten back.

Speaker 2 (01:54:45):
These are good, and they do have regular size.

Speaker 5 (01:54:47):
I just watch the mini bags for distribution purposes.

Speaker 4 (01:54:50):
Because also like with the Ritz to the because the
ritz cracker is always buttery and it has a nice
kick of salt.

Speaker 2 (01:54:56):
Ye little of salt that is good.

Speaker 4 (01:55:01):
Like him I do. I'm going hammerdr so on the
on the Ritz fudge drizzled minis. I give that one.
I give that an eight.

Speaker 2 (01:55:15):
Nine, I'm going nine.

Speaker 5 (01:55:16):
I want to try them in regular size. They might
be a ten'd go six, take.

Speaker 4 (01:55:20):
A Now we're back to the better goods. This is
the hot Honey beef stick. So it's a beef jerkey.

Speaker 6 (01:55:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:55:27):
Now, I'm kind of a meat stick connoisseur. I always
have them here, so I'll be curious.

Speaker 4 (01:55:33):
About all right, everything's hot honey these days.

Speaker 2 (01:55:36):
Honey.

Speaker 4 (01:55:36):
Yeah, hot honey is the big flavor. Right now, they're good.
We should have done it the other way where we
had the beef stick and then sweetened it up. But
I feel like we're eating how minutes would eat at home.

Speaker 12 (01:55:45):
Though.

Speaker 2 (01:55:45):
Yeah, worry, just don't worry about it.

Speaker 4 (01:55:48):
It's not true to stop worrying.

Speaker 2 (01:55:50):
Yeah, this is good. It's not bad, and it doesn't
have that film that it leaves usually on the roof
of your mouth.

Speaker 4 (01:55:57):
The best one, the best one you ever brought in, Menace,
was the Yellowstone jerky. Oh yeah, the jerky, the whatever.
These were sticks and those were good.

Speaker 5 (01:56:08):
Now I don't want to open this one. Was very
hard to find anyone that was intact at all. Trumpling, hilarious, Yela,
what it is, Menace? It is a Barbie sugar cookie.

Speaker 4 (01:56:21):
Barbie sugar.

Speaker 2 (01:56:23):
They go for a dollar.

Speaker 5 (01:56:25):
They're in this section of where the fifty cent pies
used to be fifty cent pies went up to ninety
four cents, and we're on sale yesterday for seventy seventy
four cents. Yeah, but these were right next to it.
All of them were completely broken for a dollar.

Speaker 17 (01:56:43):
They already looked like a deal.

Speaker 4 (01:56:45):
Yeah, and that doesn't look like so it's not like
a Barbie fond and't printed.

Speaker 9 (01:56:49):
Yeah, because it's just cute.

Speaker 4 (01:56:50):
It looks like it looks like times square Mickey Mouse. Yes, totally,
you know, like sort of resembles Mickey Mouse, but not really.
This sort of resembles Barbie, but.

Speaker 2 (01:56:59):
Really not really.

Speaker 4 (01:57:00):
Taste that bad pure garbage, taste that sweet dry that
gets a one. The beef stick gets I'd give that one.
I'd give that one a.

Speaker 2 (01:57:11):
Six, yeah, theft of nine, yeah, ten.

Speaker 14 (01:57:16):
I would take this over most beef sticks I've ever had.

Speaker 2 (01:57:19):
Yeah, that's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (01:57:19):
This one's good, I think because the yellow I keep
having the Yellowstone one in my mind because that's the
best one. And then the other one that's really good
is the one that first form makes. Oh yeah, those
those are seriochi KARAOKEI one is so good. That's available
in a Target by the way, yeah yeah, check out
the first form. Now this, you're gonna hate what guacamole

(01:57:40):
flavored tortilla chips buy better goods. I'm not aquack fan.
I'm not an avocado fan.

Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
So yeah, yeah, a couple take them. Greg, he is
a quack fan. So I'll let him describe to if
you like interesting shade of green? Yeah, can I get that?

Speaker 9 (01:58:01):
I was just giving them to.

Speaker 4 (01:58:04):
He doesn't like them because it he looks like as
the texture of baby food.

Speaker 2 (01:58:08):
These are chips. Yeah, you would never in a trillion
years detect any of a cod. It literally tastes like
a cool ranch stream.

Speaker 9 (01:58:18):
I'll have one, but lest hanging.

Speaker 2 (01:58:21):
I'm not. I'm just on a You have nothing to
worry about. It doesn't work, just like no. But if
you don't like walk, it doesn't matter. And he doesn't.

Speaker 8 (01:58:29):
We're not Why doesn't he like walk? It reminds him
of baby poop and a diaper, his little brain things.

Speaker 2 (01:58:39):
These are good. They're good, but they don't taste like guawk.
Not for guak flavor.

Speaker 18 (01:58:44):
This is not it.

Speaker 2 (01:58:44):
Yeah, but they're very good. They're good. Yeah, yeah, it's
legally I don't like them.

Speaker 4 (01:58:52):
Okay, that means they're good.

Speaker 9 (01:58:53):
They're kind of like bugles almost.

Speaker 3 (01:58:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:58:58):
What's wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:59:00):
Bugles. Those are good on your finger, look like witches nails.

Speaker 2 (01:59:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:59:06):
I don't know why you would buy these though, because
the guacamala flavoring doesn't add.

Speaker 2 (01:59:11):
We watched down our drink, all right, this.

Speaker 4 (01:59:13):
Is it is how we're wrapping up.

Speaker 2 (01:59:14):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:59:15):
The first one is which one we're doing, the pink
one or the purple one.

Speaker 2 (01:59:18):
Uh, let's go with the pink first. So that's strawberry.

Speaker 4 (01:59:21):
And what's the brand, Welchers Welchers, all right, Champagne bottle,
all right, liquid candy. I can see I can see
you serving this like with the kids, like if you're
doing like a champagne toast and you give the kids
a little bit of this stuff and makes them feel
like strawberry sparkling.

Speaker 5 (01:59:40):
So it's supposed to be like Marnelli's, like apple cider,
but sparking sparkling, strawberry sparkling kool aid.

Speaker 2 (01:59:48):
Yeah good, all right?

Speaker 5 (01:59:50):
And this last one is red grape purple drink.

Speaker 2 (01:59:54):
All right. Purple was very medicinal.

Speaker 4 (01:59:56):
Yeah no, oh, I like the grape better than the
strawberry taste like a thinned out grape juice. Yeah, it's
amazing they even sell any of that.

Speaker 14 (02:00:08):
Yeah, the grape tastes like grape Diamondtown, which is great
for medicine, but not good for a drink.

Speaker 4 (02:00:13):
That's terrible to.

Speaker 2 (02:00:17):
I think.

Speaker 4 (02:00:17):
The the meat stick, the meat stick is good. The
ritz fudge Drizzle minis. See, we get very very good scores.
The pizza soup, the pizza soup, those are probably the
top three vote getters here in the room. The worst
was the burger soup yep. And the Barbie cookie. Yeah,
the barbecue just pure. I mean not that most people

(02:00:39):
I think that will listen to this show whatever see
the Barbie cookie and go yep.

Speaker 2 (02:00:43):
But all right, man, thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:00:45):
For bringing stick menaces taste drive of some Walmart eclusives.

Speaker 2 (02:00:52):
