I know you're always going through that.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Every five weeks. I'm getting a new one.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
It's well and the reason is because Greg doesn't like
to put the umbrella down. He'll leave it out there
in the weather and the wind.
Speaker 6 (02:53):
And he's insane.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
That's why, because you leave a giant sail up on
I do we found Sammy?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Everybody a right there she is.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Everybody can relax, we've located Sammy.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
So the umbrella thing, I want to look at my
yard and think, oh, that's resort living. Does it looks
like a resort when they're all tied down and closed.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
At the end of the night, the restaurants, the resorts,
they put the umbrellas there.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
But they also have a ton of people that do that,
and it's just me and I'm like, and it's also.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Just one umbrella.
Speaker 8 (03:23):
You're like, I don't work here.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, I don't work here.
Speaker 9 (03:27):
Is living at the resort?
Speaker 5 (03:28):
It is one umbrella?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Right?
Speaker 6 (03:29):
I have four four umbrellas, Yeah four?
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Where do you put four?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Okay? So I have like all in the backyard. I
have three in the backyard, and then I have one
in like the at the front door, like in the
little courtyard.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Oh yeah, and you leave all of them up at
all times.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, for the most part. One of them I keep
closed all the time because it's the newest one.
Speaker 6 (03:51):
You have an outdoor cafe.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Oh a right, Yeah, I have.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
A little outdoor dining area.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Yeah. Do you ever use it? Of course you Doah,
it's right next to the grill.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
And I think a lot of people have those things
that he's never used though.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
No, I like summertime. I'll spend eighty percent of my
time outside.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Yeah, well this is something Greg will have no use for.
It's also Umbrella Cover Day.
Speaker 8 (04:12):
No, I doesn't know what that is.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
But Greg.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
It also is the beginning of Nude Recreation Week.
Speaker 8 (04:17):
Yeah, this is just made for you the.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Season of.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
And it's the beginning. Is this Shark Week? It says
Shark Week? But is this Discovery Shark Week?
Speaker 8 (04:29):
Maybe sixth?
Speaker 5 (04:30):
I feel like that was in August or something. Me too, No,
it's in July for Discovery Channel.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Yeah, Shark Week.
Speaker 10 (04:40):
But it's later. See okay, I'm looking up.
Speaker 11 (04:41):
It says it starts Sunday, July twenty sixth, Saturday, August first.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
Okay, well, on our official list of holidays. I guess
maybe this is the official holiday. Discovery may do their
own thing, but there you go.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Shark.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
I did see a video where these people and they
were completely unaware there's a shot by a guy who's
just flying a drone and people are on a paddle board.
By the way, the chick was doing the paddling. The
guy is just on his like hands and knees on
the back of the paddle board like a little bitch
riding bitch. Yeah, there's a lot of these comments too,
(05:16):
like why why is she paddling?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Have you ever used a paddle board?
Speaker 1 (05:22):
It's so hard it doesn't look fun.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
It's really it doesn't look interesting to me anyway. So
they're just you know, out of the water, oblivious to
the fact there is this giant shark that's just scoping
him out. Yeah, and the shark. The shark is just
do you see it? Yeah, shark, look at that, Greg.
The shark is just investigating and chill. That shark is huge. Okay,
(05:48):
say that's a big ass shark. And they were they
were just not aware whatsoever. This guy if if he
would have like fell off the back of that thing, yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
He's done toast, dude. I just read a fun fact
about shark the other day. I told you, big, yeah,
that are older than the rings of Saturn, that they've
been around for over four hundred million years because there's
like some old shark hanging out somewhere going, well, you know,
I remember when Saturn got rings.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Well, yeah, there were sharks before there were trees.
Speaker 8 (06:19):
Apparently, what hew, they're full on dinosaur.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Oh and today is a national air traffic control dawn job.
Oh that's not That's the job that I would have
wanted lifetime if radio didn't work out. My fallback. I
wanted to uh enroll and do all the training to
be an air traffic controller. I thought that'd be really cool.
And then the cutoff for that is thirty years old.
They just did a big hiring thing. Oh yeah, they
(06:43):
opened up for applications. They had a record number of
people apply. It's a good paying job. Yeah dude, But
then there's a lot of training and there's man, there
is so much to know.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
That is my worst nightmare.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Morgan can't do it now because she's way.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Too Yeah, but my uncle even you're too old for you. Yeah,
my uncle did it for Zula, Montana Airport and Boise,
Idaho Airport and he got to retire super early and
has been like kicking it.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
What was your like if if this didn't work out?
Even when you were like kind of grown up, Like,
what was your your your other? What did you want
to be? What'd you want to do? Like, because let's say,
like we even once you started radio, what was gonna
what was gonna be your fallback? Like if this doesn't
work out, what do you think you would have tried
to do?
Speaker 3 (07:23):
As a kid? I knew I wanted to be in
radio because one of my best friend's dad was on
the radio, and I thought he was the coolest guy
on earth. But if that didn't work out, if that
didn't work out, oh my god, I never had a
plan B. Something like along the lines of working at
a grocery store. I've always wanted to do that.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
Yeah, something where you can drive the door upen like
delivery drive, delivery driver? What about Eugena?
Speaker 8 (07:45):
Mine were super attainable. As a child, I either wanted
to be a Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader or an astronaut,
so I can change anytime menace.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
I was going to go to school for film and television,
which I did, and then I started working television, but
then I started doing radio. But as a kid, coincidentally enough,
I was super into being an oceanographer because you go
to the ocean and I used to be able to
name like every single whale, every single type of dolphin,
because there's multiple dolphins out there, and this is.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Some random ass stuff you wouldn't guess.
Speaker 8 (08:19):
Yeah, biology, what.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
About you, Sammy.
Speaker 11 (08:23):
I wanted to be a sign language interpreter. I took
two years in high school and two years in college
and that was actually my plan A.
Speaker 10 (08:32):
And then I found radio and I was like, forget
that sigling.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
Do you still remember it?
Speaker 1 (08:37):
I forget that.
Speaker 12 (08:38):
I know a little bit, yeah, a little bit of it.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Greg.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
I thought your fallback, you wanted to be a stay
at home like a kept man.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
That's still my fall do. That's still my dream. That
is my forever.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
I always wanted to be an athlete or a drummer
because I used to play drums, so I wanted to
be in a band.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
Oh I like that.
Speaker 12 (08:54):
A girl drummer.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
I thought that would be cool.
Speaker 8 (08:56):
I mean they're just called drummers.
Speaker 12 (08:58):
Yeah, but there's not that many female ones.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Like how you know it's not gay marriage is married,
just married. That's what great.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
He's been saying, thank you all right time for your
birthdays and your porno birthday bill show is.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Shirethday we're going it's Shiver Day.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
We're gonna sit the cogs.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Like it's shiverfday. And you know you don't do birthday.
Speaker 5 (09:21):
So if you haven't watched Tulsa King yet, that's a
great show. Uh, Philadelphia is still living on a rocky
all these decades later. But the happy birthday to Sylvester Stallone. Yeah,
who was eighty years old today?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (09:36):
Kevin Hart is forty seven today.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Fifty cent. This guy right here fifty cent King and Petty,
he's fifty one. George W.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Bush, the forty third President of the US, is eighty
years old today.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Damn Jeffrey Rush he's.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
Won an oscar yep, he's want Shine and pirates Caribbean.
He's seventy five. And then your porno birthday day is
Alana Evans Aunt Today's birthday.
Speaker 7 (10:00):

Speaker 1 (10:00):
She's been slabbered on more than a dog toy.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
And she's also the president by the way of the
Adult Performance Artist Guilds. She's been in seven hundred fine
adult films, including fifty State, Masturbate Hi. She was in
Face Sprayers Volume one, Bend Over and Say Ah Volume two.
She was in the election themed stuff her ballot box
(10:26):
also Vagina Code. She was in I'll Toss your Salad
if you butter My Buns. Who could forget her unforgetable
role in all Anal on the Western Front. It's Alana Evans.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
It was fifty years old today and at your borno birthday,
your celebrity birthdays here for you on this Monday morning
on the Woody Show, The Woody.
Speaker 5 (10:51):
Show, and we are into another hour.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
It is The Woody Show.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
Gray, I gotta breaks up about Greg here at a second.
It's not necessarily a bad thing. I want to I
want to try to help Greg.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
Really.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Yeah, okay, I need lots of help in general, and
I think I have somewhat of an.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
Idea what it could be. Oh okay, you know, anyway,
there's menace. Gina Grant is here. Friends are open eight
seven seven forty four. Woodie, you can send us a
text over to two two nine eight seven. I don't
want to like, you know, I don't know what you
got for cheers and jeers.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Greg, But.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
This insomnia he keeps talking.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Oh god, you know, Greg's talking about how his insomnia
is like so bad.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
It's on.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
I have a couple thoughts. Number one, for whatever reason,
he forces himself to stay up way later than he should,
so his schedule is all jacked up. True, yeah, you know,
and it doesn't make any sense. He doesn't prioritize You
don't prioritize sleep. That's that's part. Like a regular routine
is big for that kind of thing with life. That's
good number two. And we brought this up before. It's
this whole thing where it's like he'll sleep on the
(11:55):
couch if the beds made.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Too nice, that's not going to help out with it
kind of insomnia thing either completely. You're not You're not
You're not really comfortable, like.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
You know, yeah you have you have a good hair day,
and then there's days you have a good bed day.
You're having a good bed day.
Speaker 8 (12:10):
You don't want to actually just wouldn't be comfortable in
that bed.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
I actually have a I don't know. I don't have
beef with that at all because actually when I when
I can't sleep, I'll go sleep on the couch. And
then that's different.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
He's not he's not making the decision to sleep there
because he's not getting the right sleep in his bed.
He's deciding to stay on the couch. Is the couch
more comfortable in your bed. It's not technically more more comfortable.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
No, no, it's not so in general, it's not your
bed should be more comfortable than your couch, and you
do have those nights that for whatever reason, it's.
Speaker 5 (12:41):
Just not working. Fine, I get it. It could be a
good couch. A good night in the couch every once
in a while is good. But when you're having insomnia
issues on top of that, Greg's mind, as we know race,
is like crazy, right. He obsesses about everything, literally everything,
and it's the dumbest stuff. Or then if it's not
about that kind of thing, like any kind of thing
worriesome he's worried about, like are thinking about I forgot
(13:03):
the thing was recently you said, But like there was
another one that one of the classics is like are
we over shrimping?
Speaker 1 (13:11):
We're gon we're gonna run out.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
Of shrimp because you know, red lobsters doing endless shrimp
Like I know, but think so his mind is easily occupy.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
You're in a random town at a random restaurant and
they have shrimp, and then like, wait, but the grocery
stores have shrimp. Every restaurant has shrimp.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
There's so much shrimp over shrimping. So this is the right.
I forgot the other random thing you brought up.
Speaker 5 (13:33):
I think it was something we were traveling recently, had
some kind of random like you know, like thing that
you said that you wonder about, Yeah, something.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
About hotels or something. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Anyway, so there's all these things.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Toby drinks himself to sleep, he.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
Does, but also that could be well, the alcohol is
a known thing.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
You don't stay asleep, yeah, because.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Then the alcohol, you know, doesn't it like convert someone
of the sugar, right, and that will then Yeah, so it's.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Called the trojan horse because it'll make you fall asleep
and then you wake a couple of hours.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
So that's not helping. And that could be changing with
age two, like the way your body is metabolizing. All
this stuff.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
I'm just throwing all these random things for you to
think about, and I think you really do need because
for you know, you, you are the only person in
this room who says they want to live forever. I know,
so for somebody who's interested in living forever, maybe look
into these things. And you got to prioritize your your
arrest and your sleep because this insomnia conversation you constantly have,
yet you make all these like very odd decisions. You
(14:33):
all do things to calm your mind. You do things
to ramp your mind up. Maybe menace hook them up
with some edibles.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
He definite Indica the past few days, man, I'm talking
nuclear tsunami insomnia where I would fall asleep on the
couch at let's say nine pm, wake up at midnight,
and I'm up for the day.
Speaker 6 (14:54):
Yes, Jeff Nero Nero sleep are really good. You've heard
nero gum right, Yeah, and turns you up. You know,
sleep is fire. It's but it also doesn't like make
you super good. It's gone next morning. It's like a
little like a mint, Yeah, kind of.
Speaker 8 (15:12):
I'm looking to sleep and recharge mints.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
You get this, uh st.
Speaker 6 (15:18):
You because I tried to do it.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
The onies olielie. It's O l l y the gummies.
The only thing is they will help me go to sleep,
but they give me crazy dreams.
Speaker 8 (15:30):
That's the melatonin insane.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
Like I stopped doing it.
Speaker 8 (15:33):
Do you guys ever wake up because you have a
song playing in your head so loud it like wakes
you up. That happened to me.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
I get a song stuck in my head a lot.
You know, it doesn't wake me up.
Speaker 8 (15:43):
And I don't know. I couldn't tell you the last
time I heard this who who remembers? And I know
just how to whisper and know how to air supply
woke me up. It was pounding in my head last
night making love and.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
I'm in a movie.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
Was it must have been.
Speaker 8 (16:04):
It must have been on TV.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
I could not go just a song that's in your
head for no reason.
Speaker 8 (16:08):
It had to be on TV. It was pounding so
loud in my head.
Speaker 12 (16:11):
It woke me up.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
How does this something in your head get loud?
Speaker 6 (16:15):
Dude, that's weird.
Speaker 8 (16:17):
You met me right, I mean.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
You are crazy this multiple personality disorders.
Speaker 5 (16:22):
So, Greg, do you have a cheers cheers to?
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Yeah, nuclear insomnia cheers uh, cheers to. I mean, it
was a great week. But I ran into an old
friend slash colleague who I hadn't seen in a decade.
I guess it's really cool to catch up with people
that you know from the past. And this is the
dude that named me, Greg Gory, so that's a big deal.
He and I have this huge history. He was kind
(16:45):
of a mentor and I hadn't seen him in ages,
and it was really cool to catch up for about
an hour or so, just stopping through on a huge
multi state motorcycle ride.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
Okay, I got you cool. You're gonna say it was
cool for about an hour or so and then that
was over it. That's sounded like I mean it was
cool I limit with this guy, but no, it was
in a one hour like catch up session. It was
really cool. That's good to see people like blast from
the past. And what's nice is when there has been
(17:17):
that big lapse between like the last time you saw
them or talk to them or whatever, and you just
pick up yeah, as if like you saw him last week. Yeah, totally,
because there's always that kind of weird thing like, oh man,
how's this going to go?
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Right?
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Like, what are we going to you know, not what
are we gonna talk about?
Speaker 1 (17:31):
This? Plenty of stuff to talk about, but is the
conversation gonna be weird or awkward?
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Yeah, you know, because you haven't seen them in a while.
Speaker 8 (17:36):
Yeah, right, it was.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Dudes have an easier time with that kind of thing.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
Yeah, I've heard before, like you know, female friends of
mine or my wife talking like oh okay, I think
you guys overthink too much of what the interaction is
going to be, whereas guys just like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
And so social media, you know what people are.
Speaker 6 (17:52):
Up to exactly. Yeah, so you're still divorced.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Yeah, Jeff g weekend cheers and jeers.
Speaker 6 (17:59):
Cheers to my son who only got a job. Thank god,
he's going to be organizing someone's house.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
What.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
Yeah, he found it, like someone was looking for it
in the neighborhood to help them organize their kitchen in
all their rooms.
Speaker 5 (18:13):
And they were just looking for faster.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah, air tasker, air tasker.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
Yeah, because I've seen like where you can ask people
to do you put it, you put it out to bid.
It's not like, oh I need someone to put furniture together.
There's plenty of those kinds of things. We could do
that too, but you can say like, yeah, I just
need someone to help me organize, like this.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
Is legit, legit. Yeah, so it's they said it's going
to be about a two week job, so they must
be orders.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Well, dude, that's how Kim Kardashian started organizing people's closets.
So he's are you telling me my kid's going to
get into porn?
Speaker 6 (18:46):
Next?
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Started with rage.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
That was the first I heard of Kim kardash before.
Ja was organizing people's closets for real. That was her job.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
But she wasn't famous. She was just doing that.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Yeah, she didn't get famous organizing. She got famous taking it. Dude,
he might organize the right person's closet. And because yeah, maybe.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
Jeers for me is my wife never answering her phone
when I call, Like I could be dead on the
side of the road and a ditch on fire whatever.
She is so horrible about answering my calls.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
It's ridiculous, you know what I do when that happens,
because yeah, if I'm if I'm calling, I'm not just
calling to shoot the ish. Yeah, you know, like I'm calling,
you know, in the middle of the day, especially like
if I'm at work or whatever, because there's a thing, yeah,
and there's an answer to it's need And if I'm calling,
it's because I need the answer right now. I would
text if it's like, hey, would you get a chance?
But yeah, so what I'll do and my son too.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
The rule with the kids is you can have these phones, but.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
What I call, you better pick up and I know
you're around and don't tell me you didn't have your phone,
because mother effort, I you always have these phones exactly,
you're constanting these phones. So what I'll do is I'll
go into the find my I'll find my wife's phone
and I'll ping it like it's lost, so it doesn't
matter if it's silent, does a matter where she is
or whatever, and she knows it's me, and she'll see
(20:06):
up miss call and she'll call me right back. Same
with my son.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
Oh my great idea.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
No, no, but you're not gonna ignore me.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
That's way better than the ones that I do.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
I do.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
I have the smart lights, so I'll turn the lights
on and off in the house. Yeah, and then I'll.
Speaker 8 (20:22):
Haunt her.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
You get those cameras, you can talk doing that camera.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yeah. I'll go through Facebook, perfect, and I'll talk. I'll
make it ring through Facebook as a call all.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
Love talking to I'm a person who's just gonna call
you just to chat.
Speaker 12 (20:36):
Yeah, my babe.
Speaker 8 (20:38):
So does she not pick up for anyone or.
Speaker 6 (20:39):
She just not just me? It's just yeah. So I
call the kids and then give him over and then
she picks up, which is dumb. I won't even been married. Wow,
it'll be twenty years in August.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Now she's over you.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
And weekend cheers and.
Speaker 8 (20:55):
Jeers, Oh my god, cheers to good house guests. I
had my oldest his friend and her daughter come stay,
and this was her daughter's big high school graduation trips.
I wanted to make it super fun to your house.
Speaker 6 (21:07):
Yes, and it was so it was.
Speaker 8 (21:13):
She's doing that. No, she's doing all that for college.
She's getting out of out of.
Speaker 6 (21:19):
Miami.
Speaker 8 (21:20):
And that was and I was so proud to Shoo
because she's always been like like the left brain and
I was the right brain, and you know what's going
to happen to crazy Gina and like she's like, yeah,
I get it. Look at your beautiful house. So they
stayed with us. They keep their stuff in their suitcase.
It's not everywhere they even we had these tickets to
this like festival, and they decided the last minute they
(21:40):
didn't really want to go, and they're like, we would
love to stay here and watch your puppy for you.
I was like, girl, yes, oh my god.
Speaker 6 (21:47):
Thank you.
Speaker 8 (21:47):
So we I still had to go with the kid
and the husband, but they stayed and watched Pip, which
was so nice of them. And they were just they
brought this card game that we played every night.
Speaker 5 (21:59):
To get out of going to the festival.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
If they said, hey, we changed our mind, we don't
want to go. Yeah, rip no, but.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
We're still going to go to this festival and fight
the crowd. And I didn't want to go.
Speaker 8 (22:09):
Remember, my husband has a bum knee. I had to
drive Sammy. You would have loved the game they brought.
It's called Moose Master. I can't call it moose Knuckle,
but it's Moose Master. It's so much fun. And yeah,
we just had we just had a great time and
I got I put to you know, like my I'm.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Already thinking about what I would have done differently. I'm
like a friend's over right.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
How often you see this friend?
Speaker 8 (22:28):
Oh, once every few years, once every few.
Speaker 5 (22:30):
Years, even more perfect? Right, So here you have tickets
to a festival. They don't want to go. Great, but
your husband and your son still want to go. He
can't drive. This is the perfect opportunity for a service
called uber right, because they don't have to.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Then you know, you're fine, you don't pay the park
or whatever, but you don't have to drive them, and
he can't get mad at you because this is a
friend that you hardly ever get to see and they're
at the house, so you know what, I.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
Should really stay back.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
I thought about it here.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Let's just let's just.
Speaker 5 (22:59):
Splurge for the uber and you guys go have a
great time at the festival. I'll see when they get back,
and then you don't have to go.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
That's it.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
You had the perfect out.
Speaker 8 (23:08):
This is the thing, like they need me, like you don't.
I spent an hour in line for a food truck
for them? Why because I'm an idiot?
Speaker 1 (23:16):
No, but that's the thing.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
They don't need you. You get taken advantage of it
in that way. Maybe I just same way that my dude.
My father in law is the smartest person I know.
Years ago, he got sent out of town temporarily three
months or so on a job. Right the company work
for was doing something, so like temporarily out of town.
So my wife and my mother in law go to
visit him at one point while he's out of town
(23:39):
for this few months. They walk into his temporary housing.
He has a washer and dryer in there, but he's
got clothes hanging from the ceiling fan. What when they
walked in and now to this day. Dad's an idiot.
He doesn't know how to do it. So he does
know how to do this stuff. He doesn't want to
do this stuff, and so he knows by hanging things
from the ceiling.
Speaker 6 (23:58):
Fan.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Oh, he doesn't know what he's doing. Oh stupid man, Oh,
stupid dad, stupid husband. Yeah, yeah, and so he doesn't
have to do it anymore. He's never asked to do
laundry like you you you throw in like some time.
Speaker 12 (24:11):
This doesn't all the time.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
But he's convinced his wife that he doesn't know how
to do this laundry.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
Yeah, so I do, I do.
Speaker 8 (24:23):
I get a steamrolled because I want to help everybody.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (24:26):
But so that, so that, but that was awesome years too.
I thought when you get a puppy, they start calming
down with every month, and then all these trainers I
follow on Instagram say watch out for the four month mark.
That's when they go crazy. My dog has gone full
psycho path. She's so reactive. All of a sudden, she's
(24:46):
gnawing everything, chewing everything. She ate the ass out of
my husband's underwear that was everywhere, and now she is
attacking us all the time. I have so many videos
of this. I was hiding under the blame gets. I
had to call my husband in the other room. This
is what it sounded like the other night.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
You're encouraging it. Yeah, you're encouraging it. How she thinks
you're playing.
Speaker 8 (25:22):
I'm not playing back with her. I'm not pushing her.
Speaker 9 (25:25):
I'm hid.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
With It's like with kids, like if they're getting away
with it, and even if you're laughing, unless there's like
a strict discipline, like you grabbed.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
By the face, no, huh her whatever in the crate.
Speaker 8 (25:38):
We did that last night. It was just crying the
whole time. So then I was told, you're supposed to
put your you're supposed to grab the bottom of their job,
but you're supposed to put your thumb on their tongue,
and they hate that. I'm trying, but this little girl
is like, she's going crazy.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
You's so cute.
Speaker 8 (25:54):
But she doesn't. The second she gets the rest of
her shots, the parvo and the rabies, we're going we're.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Going to like pet's smart. They have like trainers that
you can get.
Speaker 8 (26:03):
We are going to boot camp.
Speaker 6 (26:04):
Baby, because you can't like this.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
He went to his house to go visit and he's
got one of these little annoying dogs too. Oh man.
And this this dog just does whatever it wants. It's
constantly like on you, on you, on you, like you
can sit on the couch. It jumps up on the couch.
Which fine that you.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
Let your dog's up on your furniture. That's your business
at your house. But when guests are over and you're
sitting there and they're constantly crawling, you can't even push
them away, and the owners doing nothing.
Speaker 8 (26:31):
I want my dog manners.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
This dog is like licking, licking, licking. Oh my god,
I can't even have my hand on my lap, like
I gotta like move my hands away. And the the
owners not not c not what. It's constant. We're there
for five hours, that's the thing. Five hours of being
lived and.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Gets away with it.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Puts you on the inside of me or something.
Speaker 8 (26:50):
She's so fluffy and she's so cute. Everyone eggs are on.
I go please, I'm trying to get her to stop
doing that. You need the teah, I'm working on it.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Yeah, all right, well there you go.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
Very vicious.
Speaker 6 (27:00):
Daughter's the killer.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
The thing is like four pounds. You grab it up,
you put it in the minute the first time, you know,
and you grab it, you put it in the crazy
I put it in air, jail hold it, maybe think
you're playing. You put it right in that crate. Throw
a sheet over the crate so you can't see canary. Yeah,
and then ignore it.
Speaker 12 (27:24):
Good idea.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
And if he cries, let it cry or Craig right,
put it down.
Speaker 12 (27:31):
Now, I jo like an.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Idiot asking me all these questionsmer is not there.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
All right?
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Gina Gran Trending news headlines.
Speaker 8 (27:44):
World Cup knockout rounds have been pretty crazy, and soccer
haters like me, we can all chill because there's no
we're ties. France and Morocco advanced to the quarterfinals on Saturday,
and then yesterday Norway knocked out five time champs Brazil.
Plus England beat Mexico.
Speaker 5 (27:59):
Wait, who is favored the win the whole thing? Was
it Brazil?
Speaker 1 (28:02):
No?
Speaker 6 (28:03):
France is favored.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Before before it started.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
France was favorite France I was talking of.
Speaker 8 (28:11):
And we've got two big matches today Portugal versus Spain.
By the way, Christiano Ronaldo announced this will be his
final World Cup, you guys, and then USA versus Belgium
and some greatness for the USA. We're gonna have our
top soccer, our top goalscorer back, so fuller in Ballagon.
He got that red card in the US at the
(28:31):
last match and was supposed to be suspended for today's game,
but it was overturned by FIFA, and President Trump is
taking credit for it, because of course he apparently blew
in that call to FIFA to complain.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
Yeah, is that what I mean?
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Is that soccer works? Is that real?
Speaker 5 (28:46):
I don't follow soccer enough?
Speaker 8 (28:48):
Taking credit for it?
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Of course? Yeah, no kidding, the sun came up like,
of course.
Speaker 8 (28:54):
It's a day that ends in why of course. So yeah,
so thank you for that. And the twenty three year
old guy accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk last September,
he's back in court this week for that preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors they're expected to lay out some of their big evidence,
like surveillance video and messages they say have a confession
on them. The judge will decide if there's enough evidence
(29:16):
for the case to move forward to trial, and prosecutors
want the death penalty. Now, this guy hasn't entered a
plea yet because that comes after the judge decides whether
the case should proceed and cameras will be allowed in
the courtroom if that's something you are interested in watching.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
This is another one man where the conspiracy theorists are
running wild. I've heard the face of the video exploding microphone,
you know thing.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Yeah, because they slowed down video of every nanosecond.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
There were like pieces of plastic from the microphone that
were like, you know, cleaned up from the ambulance and
taken away and blah blah blah. You know, I don't
know there was that.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Who was it that?
Speaker 5 (29:50):
Uh, they were like putting explosives in people's like pagers
and cell phones. Remember they're taking a yeah that way. Yeah,
they're saying the same kind of thing. There's a number
of the conspiracy theories.
Speaker 8 (30:01):
The mic was rigged.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Yeah, the mic was rigged, I think because I don't
I didn't follow any of this, so I don't know
if this is even real, but I did conspiracy theory.
The conspiracy theory, you're my go to. I'm citing this
your job up on all the conspiracy I am citing
to what you're talking about. I'm citing the theo von
podcast because I did hear him discussed as saying that
they said that the warehouse where the microphone was made,
(30:25):
like the same week all burned down. Oh so they're
like putting I don't know if that's true or not.
Cover up all the Yeah, yeah, cover the explodings.
Speaker 6 (30:35):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 8 (30:37):
Well, a Delta Airlines flight was hit by a firework
while landing at Chicago's Midway Airport on the fourth of July.
Speaker 13 (30:43):
We have some audio of that, Rodrick and ten seventy six.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
I'm not sure if you'll be able to assess any
there's any damage at this time.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
And we're just hoping it was just the mortar that
went off underneath, but definitely felt the big sang.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
There have been multiple reports, so you can imagine the
cities are where. They said they would notify the Chicago police,
but you know, I don't know what they'll do.
Speaker 5 (31:10):
Yeah, what are they gonna do?
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (31:12):
Shoot at the fireworks.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Best has the issue of calling teachers superheroes. Pilots are
legit superheroes.
Speaker 8 (31:20):
Chill, dude, I think we just got here.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
But they're still flying, so it wasn't like they were
spiraling toward the earth.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
OMG, you guys, guess what in the sorry in the
in the air World. Is vocal Fry like made fun
of in the reality TV show World because vocal Fry
is like big time mate.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
God Yeah, well no, I think because he's looking at
stuff and he's evaluating at like you're you're doing a
lot of thinking as you're having those conversations. You've got
a question from traffic control.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
And you're looking at something. You know, you're looking at
a reading of something. Well, no they are.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
I mean they're they're looking at you know, they feel
how much fuel do you have? How much you'll They'll
be asking all these different questions.
Speaker 6 (32:17):
Check.
Speaker 8 (32:18):
I'd be like, I don't know, bitch, just help.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
I know they're saying there are a lot of pilots
that because there was a question like why do they
all sound like you know the same as far as
like really low because a lot of people and it's
for us, it's not this way because we talk on
microphones and hear ourselves and headphones all the time. But
for people who don't do this for a living, when
(32:42):
you hear yourself recorded, it throws you off, or when
you hear yourself back in headphones, it throws you off.
So as they're talking, like they'll start talking quieter because
it's loud in their headphones and they're now they're talking
quieter because they don't have the volume set right or Yeah,
it's like just people. Don't you ever hear yourself like
on a if you're not you know, a radio person
or a TV person, you hear yourself recorded.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Like that's what I saw.
Speaker 8 (33:05):
Oh my god, it's the worst. Well, this is the
best part. The plane landed safely and the inspection found
the only damage was paint paint damage, so they're okay.
And then in Los Angeles, fireworks misfired into the crowd
at Bemo Stadium after the angel City soccer match Friday night.
Some vans were evacuated, no word yet about injuries. And
(33:25):
in New York, the Brooklyn Bridge briefly caught fire during
Fourth of July and no injuries reported there either. Well,
according to a new survey, a lot of people have
no idea why we celebrate the Fourth of July. So
they talked over two thousand people and forty six percent
of them said they don't know why America's two hundred
and fiftieth anniversary was a big deal. Does everybody here
(33:48):
know why we celebrate for the July.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Does any what it's called independence?
Speaker 12 (33:53):
Does anybody?
Speaker 8 (33:54):
I don't know, Sammy Menace, anybody that were good? Okay, good? Well,
fifty three percent knew that it was for signing the
Declaration of Independence in seventeen seventeen.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
In Dependence Day.
Speaker 6 (34:06):
Yeah, like the movie, but for.
Speaker 8 (34:08):
John Hancock, right, but for a lot of people.
Speaker 6 (34:11):
Of course.
Speaker 8 (34:11):
The fourth all about hot dog eating contest.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Oh yeah, graduation. I saw your post.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Yeah you did sixty.
Speaker 8 (34:19):
Oh my god, you really took him down.
Speaker 5 (34:21):
On Instagram, which you should be, right Menace at the
Woody Show, Yeah, there was a there was a picture
of Greg with his metal and his naked new jersey,
sixty six Wieners.
Speaker 3 (34:30):
On his jaw. You keep a steady pace.
Speaker 12 (34:32):
That's so good.
Speaker 8 (34:33):
Well, Joey won the eighteenth Mustard Belt at the Nathan's
Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, and he even told reporters
he was disappointed that he didn't top his own record,
so he wolf down sixty six hot dogs, but his
overall record is seventy six.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
I'm gonna repost. I'm gonna repost Greg's thing.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Yeah, it's so good. You're so happy to sixty six Wieners.
Speaker 8 (34:54):
Well, I won, So he worked hard for that and
he got.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
A really cool chain to Yeah, that was pretty badass.
I knew you'd like that.
Speaker 8 (35:02):
Well, the Minions took down Toy Story five over the weekend,
not by much though. Minions and Monsters is the seventh
film in the Despicable franchise and it earned thirty six
and a half million. Toy Story made about thirty one million,
and Supergirl Man. It's disappointing. It came in fourth last
weekend with just under ten million. That is a seventy
four percent drop off from the opening weekend. And I
(35:25):
still have a kid that wants to see it, so
you know, we'll throw a couple bucks at him. And finally,
the wedding, no one can get away from the pop
culture event of the year. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's
wedding details have been leaking out. A couple of MSG
employees even got fired for taking pictures inside. And what
we do know is that Adam Sandler, of all people,
(35:46):
officiated the ceremony. There were over one thousand guests and
that included like Tom Cruise, Paul McCartney, he performed, Stevie Nicks,
and then Jason Sudeikas, Tom Hanks, tons of people. Taylor
walked down the aisle to a string arrangement of one
of her own songs, of course, and the after party
was styled in an awe Alice in Wonderland and Wizard
(36:06):
of Oz theme. Sammy cute.
Speaker 14 (36:09):
They had.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
Steamboat Williams.
Speaker 12 (36:13):
But but I heard like it was a kind of
garden theme. Does that right?
Speaker 6 (36:16):
Yeah, it looks like.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
They built a church in the middle of the court,
like a castle.
Speaker 8 (36:20):
Basically, they had arcade games, they had stage performances. There
was a no gifts policy, but they raffled off gifts
for people like Cardier watches and designer handbags, right exactly.
So inside Madison Square Garden everything was great. But outside,
and this was what I was saying, people were pissed
because it was clogging up traffic, shutting down streets on
(36:40):
a big holiday weekend. We have audio.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
It's just ridiculous, I mean, and then you do it
on a day where we're supposed to you know, honor,
you know American history, in America's birth stay.
Speaker 8 (36:51):
For them to shut it down like this, I'm not
here for I am not here for it at all,
because that's what.
Speaker 5 (36:56):
You were busy doing. Dude, Yeah, you were celebrating Americans.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
I'm trying to celebrate, were you.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yes.
Speaker 8 (37:02):
If people want to get out, they want us to do fireworks,
they want to come to town.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
There is two other things I want to share about this.
They did also raffle off a Mustang and we have
a radio friend that did that at a wedding too,
where he wrapped off Mini Cooper. That's pretty bad ass.
And then they did donate twenty six million dollars to
the charity, So twenty six different charities in the area.
They gave a million plus dollars.
Speaker 8 (37:26):
Oh, that's very nice. And speaking of those streets, swifties
surrounded the garden. They hope to get a glimpse of
a couple, of course, but they all they got were
some pastries, like some old pastries that tossed.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
I think it's a guy. I think it's because he's
screaming like a chick.
Speaker 8 (37:42):
And they tossed these extra pastries from the wedding at
these swifties outside.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
So the swifties remember what people were doing, Like if
somebody went in for an interview and they left behind their.
Speaker 5 (37:51):
Coffee cup, and those coffee cups are going up on.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
eBay for things like that.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
But the Swifties they were just hoping to get a
glimpse of anything or what. Yeah, so the get a pastry,
oh my god from you know what was being served
to the guests at the big wedding. Listen to this guy,
Oh my god, we're having Taylor Swift dessert.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Sammy, would you but that was like from Depeche Mode,
Dave Gone.
Speaker 6 (38:25):
You know what.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
I think I would think.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
That I would agree with you, but I don't even
I'm not that mentally unstable.
Speaker 8 (38:34):
God, Oh my god, guy, Yeah, that's what's going on.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Right back. I can barely remember to.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
Open my mouth when I'm eating.
Speaker 6 (38:55):
Like you think I'm gonna remember to bring a canvas bag.
Speaker 8 (38:57):
To go, I don't think you're gonna remember the wood.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
Show all right?
Speaker 5 (39:03):
Well, I posted Greg's victory picture, reposted and again. If
you already follow us on Instagram quite the week at
the at the Woody Show, you you've already seen it.
You might be like, oh, I've already seen this before. Yeah,
we repost it because now we're talking about it again.
Stories are only for what twenty four hours?
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Minutes?
Speaker 5 (39:23):
Yes, So I reposted the story and you could see it.
Greg's big victory from the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating contest
Greg gobbled sixty six wieners.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Congratulations, thank you. You look great.
Speaker 5 (39:36):
I do look good in that For a guy who
eats so much like you look pretty fit.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
I agree. I'm, you know, very pleased with my victory photo.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Yeah, it's pretty great. Pretty, it's kind of hot. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (39:46):
Yeah, and people also giving me a giving me props
and kudos for the song choice that we used.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
For the for the story.
Speaker 5 (39:55):
It's posted again on our Instagram at the Woody Show.
If you're not already following The Woody Show on Instagram, Uh,
make sure you're doing that.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
Yeah, just a little update just in case of some
like ultra nerd texts in you can actually leave your
stories up for two days now.
Speaker 6 (40:12):
If you pay for premium.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
Service you can.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (40:16):
So I don't know why you are.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Going to do that.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
Yeah, why would you want to do that? I'd be
a great investment.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Is because there are premium servicess like people can pay
to like get their verified account, and they give extra tools,
and within those tools you can keep it up for well.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
I guess if you're posting less frequently, right, and then
you have a story it's up there for a couple
of days.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
That's good.
Speaker 6 (40:35):
Yeah, interactive, I guess.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Yeah, but I don't know.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
Dude.
Speaker 5 (40:39):
Here here's the thing, And I was, I was talking
to Jeff about this. I'm I'm going to start some
kind of I'm just just an Instagram account.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
I don't have one. I don't have any social media,
but I'm going.
Speaker 5 (40:52):
To start one because there's too many things with the
Woody Show account, which is typically if I'm going to
post something, I'll post something there, so I want to
share it, but then menace, get's mad I do because well,
the algorithm and the you know, it's gonna throttle art.
Like I was like, dude, here's the thing. I just
want a place where like, hey, I'm gonna post stuff
and I want to share it, because that's what the
internet's all for, right, Yeah, just for sharing stuff, Like
you see something, you want to share it with your friends,
(41:14):
or you just want to post something. I'm I don't
want to have to worry about like the time, or
it's going to mess up the algorithm and it's going
to mess up our reach.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
Like I don't see.
Speaker 5 (41:23):
I don't care about any of that stuff.
Speaker 8 (41:24):
So let's just set you up with another account, right.
Speaker 5 (41:26):
So that's that's that's what I'm working on. But the
thing is, and because he is right, like you know
how that goes, I was seeing like these posts on
Instagram because the timeline is not linear, like it jumps around,
and so there was like some headline.
Speaker 1 (41:40):
Like I think I think I thought that I already
like got worked out or whatever. Oh no, because it
was from June third, Like why is it showing up
now it's the fourth of July. Yeah, you know, So
that's why I'm all right, look, you'll have to know that, Okay,
well what he's posting, stuff that he's sharing here, and
just kind of just make it a thing that just
check on it every once in a while or there's
something I am post there, I'll go, hey, check out
(42:01):
that Instagram thing that I set up. Because that way,
I don't care about the followers. I don't care about the.
Speaker 5 (42:06):
Quote engagement or the throttling or what.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
Who cares I care about throttling.
Speaker 5 (42:13):
I care about I care about sharing stuff because that's
what we do. That's that's the job, right.
Speaker 6 (42:19):
It's just part of our business.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (42:21):
Yeah, if you don't work the algorithm, then nobody sees
what you're sharing.
Speaker 6 (42:23):
And then oh, what are shows?
Speaker 1 (42:25):
Well, I don't care about I don't care about any
of that.
Speaker 5 (42:30):
Yeah, like do the stuff you know on paper, This
show should never work, you know, we should have never
gotten Like we sit through these meetings. They're in mind theming.
I'm sure whatever business you're into, Uh, they have people
that come through and they tell you basically, like how
to do your job efficiently, and here's how to get
the most production out of what you're doing. Or you know,
if you're a salesperson that here's how to close more
(42:51):
deals blah blah.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Blah blah blah.
Speaker 5 (42:52):
And then meanwhile you're just going out there taking care
of your clients or taking care of your business owner,
taking care of your customers, and the rest seem to
just take care of itself, so it doesn't matter all
these little rules. They have these rules that say, oh, well,
you should stop for a commercial break at thirteen after
the hour, and then anytime you do talk, it can't
be any more than ninety four seconds. Like what, just
(43:13):
just have stuff that people are interested in hearing, be
people that people want to hear from and that's how
the radio show works. All these other things don't really matter.
Social media is for sharing things. I get what they're
doing because they want you to pay for that premium
thing so you can be seen by more people. Yes, yeah, man, that.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
Went the sick of break. Couldn't you just take your
story and repost it twenty four hours later?
Speaker 5 (43:36):
But that's even gonna affect your reader.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
You don't want to run it through another appolutely, Yeah,
it doesn't look like it's too many rules, man, because
you know the medic the well.
Speaker 8 (43:47):
Greg was going to say the medicator, but it just
goes to the other.
Speaker 5 (43:52):
I just this is just more of like a philosophical
or you know, just a theory and how people talk
about how to you know, become successful man, Like there's
too many people that are figuring out how much money
they're gonna make before they figure out what they're actually
going to be providing to people, any kind of like
good or service. My buddy Andy Fursella who runs he
owns First Form, huge brand. They've never given out a
(44:12):
sales award at that company ever, and he's a billionaire. Okay,
Like this company is wildly successful. They've never given an
award to any employee sales or otherwise for sales like sales. No,
they get awards for doing things that bring value to
the customer. They come up with an idea or a
thing they could do that's gonna benefit the customers. That
(44:32):
those are the people who get the awards, the bonuses,
the raises, the promotions. It's not based on who closed
the most business. And you know, like if you if
you're chasing the money, that's the whole uh, chase success,
the money will.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
Follow kind of idea.
Speaker 6 (44:46):
That's true.
Speaker 5 (44:47):
I do even get on that.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
I haven't seen some thing of the idea algorithms. If
you want to see Greg's championship Wiener photo up on
our Instagram and give us a follow. There at the
wood you show.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
What do you show?
Speaker 5 (45:05):
And into another new hour, Greg Menace, Gino grad and
uh weekend cheers and jeers. What do you got for
ust Menace?
Speaker 1 (45:15):
Oh well, I spent well this past weekend. I spent
the weekend in Paris, but I was in Vienna, Austria, London.
I mean I had the best time in Europe.
Speaker 5 (45:26):
And was it just for Europe? Did you go for something?
Speaker 7 (45:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:29):
What you pick that location for start off in Vienna,
Austria for the Austrian Race for for F one. And
then what was really good we was really cool is
like I got to go through the Austrian like the
hills are alive, like sound of music area, like the
outskirts and you your hands out and.
Speaker 6 (45:50):
I wanted to.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
I wanted to, but it was really cool because it
looked just like the movie. I know, like that Hillside
part they actually shot in Germany were like right on
the on the border. It was like the yeah the Alps, dude, beautiful. Yeah,
this seeing the sports and being around the fandom of something.
You know, when you're into something and being around other
people are into it, it's super fun. And then I
(46:12):
absolutely love London, so getting to spend a lot of
time in London was awesome. I went to a Harry
Styles concert at Wembley and that ruled pretty.
Speaker 6 (46:23):
Hard to be jealous.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
No, there's some other Strait guys there, I mean obviously
with their partners, but yeah, just shopping. And then also
because you know, World Cup soccer is happening right now,
so like every single like bar and restaurant, people are
just like partying, not and stop like every single day,
So being around more fans like that was really cool.
And then I went to Silverstone for another F one
(46:48):
race and I finished up in Paris. I went to
a Bad Bunny concert and that ruled. Now my jeers
is god man. I've been going to Europe for the
past fifteen years and there's something that Europe has finally
embraced from American culture, and it's called tipping.
Speaker 7 (47:09):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
They're all about tipping, and they've taken it to the
American extreme where if you're buying merch, they're asking for
tips at merch, but they're getting paid.
Speaker 8 (47:20):
A Liverpool wage. They don't have to make up for
it with tips.
Speaker 6 (47:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
I don't know how that works, but I'm just saying,
whoa wait a minute. That used to be the cool
thing about visiting Europe. You don't have to uh do
any tipping in there? Yeah, of course they did.
Speaker 5 (47:34):
Where where is scenes? It might this could be our
daily mention of Japan. Is it Japan or was it
Europe that it was offensive? Tipping was seen as offensive?
Speaker 3 (47:42):
Yeah, definitely to Australia literally rude.
Speaker 8 (47:46):
Yeah, like you're so poor you have to throw me
a couple of dollars.
Speaker 5 (47:48):
Well there was that, and also like, oh are you
saying something about your job performing? Not even like as
a positive thing, it's just more like like you no,
of course I do a good job, like you know
of like why wouldn't I don the best job possible?
Speaker 1 (48:01):
Oh yeah, no it was I remember fifteen years ago
when I went to Europe for the first time, like
somebody was offended when I tried to take them.
Speaker 6 (48:12):
But now now they're all about it. They embraced it.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
And yes there was little boobos out there too, but
not as hot as they used to be. Like you
could us walk into a store and get a little
Boo boo if you want one. Morgan weekend cheers and jeers.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
So I got a lot of mature things done during
our little break. I unpacked my suitcase from the White House,
so that's good.
Speaker 8 (48:32):
Are you dying?
Speaker 3 (48:33):
Got it?
Speaker 12 (48:35):
And also from another event we had over a month ago,
so that was great.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
And then I mentioned recently how I was trying to
get my car fixed but I wanted to go the
illegal route.
Speaker 5 (48:44):
Yeah, I wasn't passing smug.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Right, and there was things I had to do, and
I'm like, I don't want to do that just pass it? Well,
I am so old and mature now that I got
it done the legal way. Whoa.
Speaker 5 (48:55):
So what was the process on that?
Speaker 12 (48:57):
And it feels good?
Speaker 1 (48:57):
And how much of that end up costing? Because we
heard were numbers all over the place, but total.
Speaker 12 (49:02):
It was almost eight hundred dollars yeh, I mean.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
What do they have to do? Like, like what did
the eight hundred dollars get you? Like?
Speaker 5 (49:08):
What do they replace?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
I'd have to look at I don't know the receipt,
but it was like two censors and the temperature gauge.
Speaker 12 (49:15):
So Samy's kind of right when she said, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Your car could explode blah blah blah, Well it could
have because the temperature was off.
Speaker 11 (49:21):
Because that's what was wrong with my car too, and
I didn't want to get it fixed. And then it
was like, no, your engine could blow because you don't
know that it's overheating because it's not telling you but
it is.
Speaker 12 (49:30):
Yeah, so I think that's one of the things that
got replaced. But anyways, it's gone and I.
Speaker 2 (49:34):
Did it the right way and that kind of feels good,
you know, yeah for you?
Speaker 12 (49:39):
How that feels my jeers?
Speaker 2 (49:43):
I don't really want to get too much into it
because I cried too much on this show.
Speaker 12 (49:47):
My dog is old and he's big, and we're getting there.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Yeah, and it's just I've like maxed out all my
credit cards just try and keep him alive, and like
it's just tough.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
How old is the dog?
Speaker 12 (49:59):
He's ten ten, he's a band he's a great Pyrenees
like big.
Speaker 5 (50:03):
So like, what's like I saw your post on on
Instagram where I guess he gotten like really dirty doing
something like what But he's just kind of like laying
there and yeah, this is the last time I'm posting,
like what's going on?
Speaker 2 (50:15):
I don't want to post about it anymore because it's
getting sad, right.
Speaker 12 (50:17):
But he can't walk?
Speaker 1 (50:20):
Can't walk?
Speaker 5 (50:20):
Yeah, him all of a sudden, Well.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
It was like, you know, he's had trouble, you know,
back leg issues for a while. He's always had arthritis.
He gets shots for that. Yeah, the vet now says
he has diabetes. So what the heck with all these
human things?
Speaker 12 (50:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
But otherwise, of course they spend all the money to
run all the tests and they're like everything.
Speaker 8 (50:39):
Looks good, but he just how do you want to pay?
Speaker 6 (50:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Yeah, so what did he have, like a stroke or something.
Speaker 12 (50:45):
I just I don't. I think he's just getting Like most.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
If they're running tests, they're saying that he you know,
he looks okay, So like, what is it that he
can't move?
Speaker 12 (50:54):
Well, he can't his back legs like he can try
and get up. I have to, I guess, and them up.
Speaker 5 (51:00):
So he feels okay, well whatever, there's nothing well I
be I think I look at.
Speaker 12 (51:05):
Him mentally and he's still there. It's just his body's
not yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:08):
Yeah, And of course the vet wants to like, oh,
bring him in, we'll study him for a day and
all this time.
Speaker 6 (51:13):
Give you a quote, We'll give you all the money.
Speaker 8 (51:15):
You know cards, we've all been there.
Speaker 5 (51:18):
Yeah, Greg, Greg can tell you, and I know it's
it's a it's a conversation that people that you can't
have a real rational conversation about it because you have
your irrational.
Speaker 3 (51:27):
Right, especially when you ask your vet, which I did,
if he if my dog was your dog, what would
you do? And they say, well, we can't answer that, right,
we would do everything, And then essentially it comes down
to the point where there's nothing more they can do
other than keep them alive in a essentially a zombie
state on all these meds. So then you have to
(51:49):
make the decision of what you're gonna do.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
And then also have to balance out like if it's
Gina's puppy, right, which is less than a year old? Yeah,
for months, and then there's a dog who's ten years
years old or ancient like Sammy's dog. She is like
have you had have you had a thought about like well,
you know if, because the day will come where there's
things that are going on, like where you've decided like, Okay,
(52:13):
this is what I'm whatever length you're willing to go
to because Greg damn me or bankrupted himself to buy
him the day before, to buy him twenty four hours
totally with the dog that was what thirteen or he
was eleven, if almost twelve, an older dog, older dog. Yeah,
and big dogs don't live that way what I always say.
But when you're in that, I get it, man, because like, hey,
(52:34):
my dog and I have a suicide pack, you know.
Speaker 3 (52:36):
What I mean?
Speaker 5 (52:37):
I didn't I get it, and we're my wife and
I right now. It's like, you know, these Golden Retrievers,
they have issues, hipped hip issues, like all Golden Retrievers
have that right. So she's finally starting to kind of show.
Speaker 3 (52:51):
Her age of it.
Speaker 5 (52:52):
She's going to be, you know, eight years old.
Speaker 8 (52:55):
She's a senior lady.
Speaker 5 (52:56):
She's a senior lady, which my wife hates that phrase,
but like it's it's tough even seeing her like get older.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
Yeah, yeah, you.
Speaker 5 (53:03):
Know, and we're not sure what's going on with this
hip thing. And you know, it's like but when you
start having these like you know, thoughts about like man eight, yeah,
you know, because then you're thinking like, oh, I'll do anything,
well your heart right.
Speaker 8 (53:16):
But what I always end up saying to people who
who finally get to that decision is thank you for
doing for them what they cannot do for themselves, because
who would want to live like that? Like Greg said,
you're just keeping them, Yeah, you're just them alive.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
Well, you'll you'll do whatever you decide, We got you, girl,
Whatever you decide.
Speaker 3 (53:34):
To do will be the right thing.
Speaker 6 (53:35):
Yeah, for sure, you know.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
Yeah, I mean, but you know you gotta just keep it.
Speaker 5 (53:40):
I would say, like, just keep them like like the
dog's ten right, and then make your decision. No, like,
if you make your decision knowing that whatever you decide
will be.
Speaker 6 (53:49):
Fine because it's brutal.
Speaker 1 (53:51):
I mean, last year, my dog Chio, she went through
cancer treatments and I mean, thank god I had insurance
for her, but it would have been in forty.
Speaker 6 (54:01):
Thousand dollars Jesus.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
Yeah, and unfortunately the cancer is back and we've been
going through the treatments again. I mean, she acts perfectly fine,
she's good getting an older dog, older dog, she's eleven.
And but every time we take the vet, it's just like, yeah,
it's it's a lot of money, brutal, but yeah it sucks.
Speaker 8 (54:21):
We got you girl.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
Yeah, it's tough.
Speaker 8 (54:23):
We've all been there.
Speaker 12 (54:24):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 8 (54:25):
Yeah, well'll be there again.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
I say, it's the worst part about having a pet.
Speaker 8 (54:29):
Told I never wanted to do it again.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
Price of love is grief.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
And I'm angry because I didn't choose to go out
and get a dog like this dog literally fell.
Speaker 8 (54:37):
In my lap, right, Yeah, and it's a crazy story.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
Yeah, I'm pretty much literally dropped a little angel caught
it little.
Speaker 6 (54:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (54:47):
He must have hit the ground because his tongue has
been sticking out his whole life.
Speaker 12 (54:50):
Yeah, and he barely has his teeth, so.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
Yeah, So they had him all like high on drugs,
and you think he looks retarded.
Speaker 12 (54:57):
Without the drugs.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
Oh my god. We'll hang in the Morgan.
Speaker 6 (55:06):
Show.
Speaker 5 (55:08):
A lot of supportive text as you can imagine coming
in for Morgan, because you know, I know it's hard
when you're looking at social media and you're reading the news,
you just think people are dicks. Do you think we're
in a world just full of a holes?
Speaker 1 (55:19):
Which they are out there.
Speaker 5 (55:23):
There's a ton of those, but there's also a lot
of really really good people, really nice people, compassionate people
out there, says while I'm crying for you, Morgan doing
eighty miles per hour, I had to pull over. I
had to deal with losing my best friend, Molly, my
box for years ago, and unfortunately I wasn't sober at
the time, so I never got to spend the quality
(55:43):
time with her that I should have. Cherish every moment
you have with your big old cute boy. Morgan's ad
you lots of love. Yeah, And I was mentioning my
my golden retriever. Now is like I got like this
limp going. We're not quite sure if she just did
something or if this is just part of the getting
older and doesn't seem to bother her too much other
(56:03):
than you. There's like a visible limp, but like as
we're like grabbing on her and like trying to see
if she's tender or sword in any particular area, she
doesn't reacts or anything, just still running after stuff. But
then when she gets up to come meet you at
the door, she you know, grabs something to bring you
because it's a retriever and she's like walking down, you know,
towards the door, and you see that thing. People a
(56:23):
couple of people on the text in this one came
in says, please don't euthanize just for hips, which we're
not considering.
Speaker 9 (56:29):
Oh my god, we're not.
Speaker 1 (56:31):
We're not.
Speaker 5 (56:31):
That's not a considerate We are going to get her
checked out, like hey, can you just take a look.
This is the first time or noticing things like this,
but that's part of her regular vet visit. Yea, Please
don't euthanize just for hips. They aren't in crazy pain.
My friend killed their dog because he started pooping on
the patio because of limited mobility. Well, I guess when
you don't know, I mean, what's going on. See, that's
(56:53):
that's the that's the weird, you know, distinction to make
like when is the dog or when is the animal
in a in a place where it's considered humane?
Speaker 1 (57:04):
Yea suffering? Yeah, uh, rate your pain on a scale
of one. Yeah, so sorry to hear about your pooch, Morgan.
I know how hard it is.
Speaker 5 (57:15):
I see it every day working out a vet. At
this point, the only thing that will diagnose a condition
like that is a CT skin or an MRI, which
are super expensive. It's probably a nerve or a spinal issue,
maybe some hip displasia. Being such a large breed. Keep
your head up and keep your baby comfortable. You're a
great pet parent, so like I'm about a nice.
Speaker 3 (57:36):
Yeah, it was an out of body experience when my
dog died. Oh my god, it was the worst.
Speaker 8 (57:42):
Did you have someone come to the house.
Speaker 3 (57:43):
We know, we did it at the vet hospital. And
then I just remember when it happened and dogs are
walking miracles. Because we were about to sign the paperwork
to go through with it, and then I said, wait
a minute, bring him in here so I can. I'm
not going to sign this before. I haven't seen him
in a couple of He walked in. He was so happy,
greeting me, and I said, hey, look, you're wrong. He's
(58:05):
totally fine. He did that just for me, and within
about ten seconds he couldn't even walk. He just kind
of came in to greet me all happy and then
just went into the corner. And oh god, I was
it was like a movie. I was screaming. It was
just awful.
Speaker 5 (58:20):
And I were just having this conversation yesterday because you know,
we're talking about this dog and the det appointment that
we have, so just it's the regular you know, vet
appointment check up kind of thing, and we're gonna ask
about that, gonna get like teeth cleaned. I think it's
been a couple of years since he did the teeth
cleaning thing, and and uh, we're just kind of talking about,
you know, her getting older and man, it sucks. And
I said, you know, I think this is going to
(58:41):
be the one and only dog because she's the dog.
Speaker 6 (58:44):
Yeah. I thought that it's impossible.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
Now I don't think it's impossible because I you know,
I've never never had a dog before this one. Yeah,
and I can't imagine a different one or carrying because
it's like it's like other people's kids, you know, like
other people's kids, like you like him, you know, they're
they're it's fine, you know, but it's not like, oh,
and you're not. You don't have any legitimate interest in
them or what they're doing or you know, things like
that for me. Uh, And it's the same with other
(59:09):
people's pets. Yeah, like I go, oh, it's cool. I'm
glad you like because I understand it. I understand the
love that you have, but like I don't necessarily I
don't care about seeing pictures. I don't care what they did.
Speaker 8 (59:18):
And your looks like a dog. Mine looks like a
human and free.
Speaker 6 (59:22):
Yeah, so that's that.
Speaker 5 (59:23):
It's that same kind of feeling or vibe that I
feel when thinking about, like ever having a different dog, Like, no,
this is the dog. It's like I don't after you know,
even though this is my second marriage. The first one
was young and you know, stupid. But like Jen is
my person, right, So like I know that I would
never I know that I would never like if something
(59:44):
happened like I wouldn't. I would never for many reasons.
But I would also never remarry again, you know what
I mean? Because like I feel like Jen is my person.
She was my person in that context, you.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
Know, so I can't strictly f buddies after that. Yeah, yeah,
of course there's no relationships, probably just paid you know.
Speaker 6 (01:00:11):
I think you're going to miss the companionship though, aren't you,
Because he says, right or die.
Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
It's all I got with you, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
And then the kids are going to be getting out
of getting out of the house, you know here, sooner
than later, and that'll be all the companionship that I need.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Plus you get your new dog gets an unfair shake.
When I got our current dog, I kind of resented
her just because she was arrested. And now she's perfect
and I'm with you Woodie. After after CALLI goes, I
don't think I could do it again.
Speaker 5 (01:00:40):
I gotta I got a clip here?
Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Where the hell did it go?
Speaker 6 (01:00:44):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
This is funny? Okay, got the clip this? This clip
has gone viral. This is from Oklahoma. The family dog
made a new friend. He was just chilling outside somehow
found a live armadillo. I think I saw this roaming
the street, like we could be friends. Little dog like
(01:01:05):
this a little new friend. So he picked it up
with his mouth and brought it inside the house. And
that's when all hell broke loose dogs, like what why?
Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Why are you freaking what? I might have the same reaction.
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Yeah, but I think you can get like a disease
from armadillos, like I'm sure you can.
Speaker 6 (01:01:43):
I think hepatitis or something like that. Something crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
Same thing you can get from like raccoons, and it
doesn't stop us from making friends with them.
Speaker 6 (01:01:50):
It's like a sex disease.
Speaker 5 (01:01:51):
Pigeons. These people that like, you know, like Mike Tyson
had pigeons, right, but people that oh yeah, got it,
like why oh flying rats?
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
No, but somebody, somebody loves them rats. This woman I
worked with the radio station.
Speaker 6 (01:02:06):
Oh yeah, rat people.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Oh man, I knew people that with the rats like
give them little kisses on the mouth.
Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
And I know what you think.
Speaker 5 (01:02:12):
She was probably fat and hideous. She wasn't really yeah,
a good looking chicken and she just loved rats.
Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
It was weird.
Speaker 8 (01:02:18):
I have a friend who has two rats named Ratthew
and rat Trick rat Okaythtthewright eight.
Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
Seven seven forty four. Woody text us over to two
two nine eight seven. We got some more Woody show
coming up. We have a round of the Crossroads.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
No, no, I know.
Speaker 5 (01:02:36):
Unfortunately we can't please all people all the time, as
much as we may try, and so every once in
a while we have to. It's like a spring cleaning,
you know. Yeah, you have to go through or like
you got to clear the cookies on your computer because
things start getting bogged down.
Speaker 12 (01:02:51):
Your cash.
Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
Yeah, you gotta clear the cash, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah,
it just it frees up, you know what I mean. Yeah,
you Unfortunately we'll have to part ways fire. I hate
to use fire listeners, but you know, it's it's best
for both sides. But it's always fun to hear what
they're complaining about. What you show Crossroads?
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Coming up? Hang on.
Speaker 5 (01:03:13):
The wood Show, all right, welcome back everybody. Yeah, somebody
said on the text, you're not firing listeners, you're promoting
them to a new radio stage that I would like
to believe. It's a demotion, you know what I mean,
not a promotion, but yeah, that's how it goes. Yeah,
it's time for a round it. What do you show crossroads?
Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
Everybody?
Speaker 5 (01:03:40):
Unfortunate reality?
Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
All right?
Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
Uh, we have people that send in stuff to our
email email at the woodieshow dot com.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
They send it to.
Speaker 5 (01:04:01):
My favorite is the one that's the station feedback that
if you go to the station website that'll say contact us.
Usually it's a question about an event or a you know,
maybe a pair of tickets that you want. You have
a question about how you're gonna hit your prize or
things like that. People also use it to complain, but
it goes out to all the different departments and all
the different people, and so they're, uh, they're trying to
nark us out something they heard they didn't like. They're
(01:04:22):
trying to nark us out to the to the management.
It could also come in on you know, Facebook or
different things. Today it's well you show email and then
a couple from the station feedback that I got for you,
and we are sending these people on to greener pastures. Yeah,
take care for fishing these turns out of our punch
bowls and we can just move on with our life
and with the show. First one is from Veranda, subject
(01:04:46):
fat Sammy.
Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
Oh no.
Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
Total part the fire.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:04:53):
I've been listening to the show for a few years,
but I think I'm done the NonStop comments about Sammy's
way to become very uncomfortable. She weighs ninety pounds, soaking
wet has she put on a few pounds and she
started here. Sure, but she's still ninety pounds.
Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
Soaking wet. She's done better than anybody else.
Speaker 5 (01:05:13):
At first, I brought it off, but it started to
feel less like friends teasing each other, more like a
group piling on one person. Calling her fat Sammy isn't
funny anymore, and I can tell it's getting to her.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
It Yeah, it is.
Speaker 8 (01:05:26):
It looks like yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
Not only does the fat Sammy stuff make me sad
for her, but also for us listeners who feel fatal well,
if you either are or none, hearing someone repeatedly reduced
to their weight sends a pretty ugly message. There's a
difference between edgy humor and this. It's cruelty, so cruel
(01:05:48):
that the show is unlistenable. Now, who cares if she's
gaining a lot of weight. If she's happy, that's all
that matters.
Speaker 6 (01:05:54):
She has gained a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:05:55):
Wait, doctor, When Sammy first joined the show, she was thinner,
and now that you he's older, your wordsless or not?
Are in a happy, stable relationship in living her best life.
Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
She's gained some weight. That's normal. It happens to a
lot of us. Leave her alone.
Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
Ladies and gentlemen. We've lost Rondo.
Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
I know, stop faint. Ronda is a fat name.
Speaker 13 (01:06:32):
It is.
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Hello, obviously, yes it is.
Speaker 13 (01:06:41):
And we're just doing what she did to the other
girls in high school. She was the mean girl in
high school. Now she's getting it back.
Speaker 6 (01:06:46):
It's called karma.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Yes, thank you.
Speaker 10 (01:06:49):
Nice Now I wasn't nice to everybody?
Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
Nicer nicer? Now was it nice to the fat girls?
Speaker 8 (01:06:57):
Now that she knows what it's like to be ob Yeah,
all right.
Speaker 5 (01:07:04):
The next one, uh, this is one that was sent
to the station feedback. This is from Anne Marie and
violation of misinformation is the subject.
Speaker 6 (01:07:18):
It is probably true.
Speaker 5 (01:07:19):
And on these station feedback one I always asks would
you like to reply reply reply requested, Yes, oh, I
want to hear path. I am writing to make sure
management is aware of the ongoing claims that the DJs
on The Woody Show have been making completely denying Helen
Keller's existence.
Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Back to Fat Sammy.
Speaker 8 (01:07:40):
It all leads back to.
Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
You know what she did start that she's on the forefront.
That is true, Helen.
Speaker 5 (01:07:48):
I never heard, in fact, until Sammy brought it up,
I had never heard anything about this idea that Helen
Keller was repeatedly telling a national audience that this real
historical figure never existed. Is a deliberate spread of misinformation.
Presenting falsehoods as entertainment has serious consequences. Not only that,
(01:08:09):
I heard one of the male hosts attempt to defend
her by playing audio of her speaking, and all of
the cast laughed at it and further mocked her. You
are obligated by the FCC to consider the young listeners
who may not know better. I'm you know, I've done
a lot of FCC training and things over the years
for you know, we have to do it every year,
(01:08:29):
did you I don't remember ever seeing I don't I
don't ever remember seeing anything in there of any kind
of obligation to young listeners who may not know any better.
Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
And a click on the young ears dap, Oh, is
that what it is?
Speaker 5 (01:08:49):
Here?
Speaker 1 (01:08:49):
You go see that.
Speaker 5 (01:08:51):
I am a teacher, Yeah, and I spend my days
teaching kids. How Helen Keller was an incredible woman who
overcame extraordinary obstacles, advocated for people with disabilities, and left
an undeniable mark on history.
Speaker 6 (01:09:04):
That it's very frustrating that that's a day's long thing.
Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
Yeah, I didn't know they had a whole class.
Speaker 5 (01:09:13):
It was just the Helen Keller's glass. I got fourth
period of Helen Keller.
Speaker 6 (01:09:19):
Walking into walls.
Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
It's very frustrating to be forced to hear a show
undermine those same values.
Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
At least she could, that's their one.
Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
How dare you, miss Keller?
Speaker 5 (01:09:33):
So very maga of you? Yeah, political, I have submitted
several complaints to the advertisers of your program to let
them know how the Woody Show is repeatedly denying established, local,
established historical facts and ridiculing a woman with disabilities.
Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Don't tell that's to Cardier. I'm sure you'll be hearing
from them. You no longer have me as a listener.
Have the day you deserve. We we've lost Marie, everybody.
I was not expecting that one, and he's forcing her.
Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
Lost Sammy who has more hardships? Or you being all fat?
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:10:15):
Definitely me being and being as fat as I am
in this room with you guys. It's definitely me.
Speaker 8 (01:10:19):
You're not need the jaws of life to get her
out of that chair.
Speaker 1 (01:10:22):
Do you know that Helen Keller's net worth once she
died was one to five million dollars?
Speaker 3 (01:10:28):
Really?
Speaker 6 (01:10:29):
Yeah? Just saying Sammy Skimmers thing.
Speaker 12 (01:10:32):
Yeah, disability paced.
Speaker 5 (01:10:33):
We have lost Ronda and we've lost Anne, and here
we got I'll give you one more. Another station feedback
one This is from Sky The subject this disgusting xenophobia
must end now. Reply requested. Yes, I am disgusted as
(01:10:58):
I write this email. I I've been an on again,
off again listener of this station, although more off again
as I've matured. But I can no longer stay silent
and support with any kind of listening. But I hear
the things that are said on your airways.
Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:11:15):
The Woodie Show was playing audio of some fans that
are visiting our vile, hateful country for the World Cup?
Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
How did they come here?
Speaker 5 (01:11:23):
And they were making a mockery of their accents. Every
single day the show shamelessly ridicules people, people of all kinds.
They make fun of their accents, their cultures, the way
they dress, the things that they are into nothing, and
no one escapes their wrath. It's ignorant and deeply offensive.
(01:11:44):
Xenophobia good Billboard, I'd say it has no place here.
Speaker 3 (01:11:48):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
Equal opportunity xenophobia on the.
Speaker 5 (01:11:54):
Internet, I'd say it has no place here. But this
is America, so who are we? But my question for management,
how dare you allow this kind of bullying and bigotry
to be broadcast? Can't we try to make this awful
country a better place as America America?
Speaker 6 (01:12:13):
How dare these stupid, ignorant immigrants come here and enjoy.
Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
What the what we have? How do they praise our
BUCkies and our house?
Speaker 5 (01:12:22):
I am shaking with anger thinking about the damage this does.
And I am not the only one who feels this way.
Everyone I've talked to about it are outraged. To everyone, everybody,
get ready for the demands. All right, I demand the
following immediately. Apology Number one that's in there, but number one,
(01:12:42):
the Woodie Show must be canceled without delay, damnitrow. Number two,
a public apology issued on air and on your website
for the harm cause to international visitors and communities. Number three,
the rest of the jas at the station and other
relevant staff must undergo mandatory cultural acceptance training. I would
(01:13:06):
get fired for that, and yes I do expect at
the very least a written response from whoever the quote
adult is in charge of the circus you call a
radio station signed sky s k y E he slash him.
(01:13:27):
You've lost gott I'm sorry everybody.
Speaker 8 (01:13:29):
That was twist at the end.
Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
Yeah, so that's how it goes. Everybody lost more listeners
to the Crossroads. That's that's unfortunate, but again it had
to be done.
Speaker 10 (01:13:43):
It had to be done.
Speaker 1 (01:13:45):
Alas that's all I got for you on the Crossroads. Later,
I'm not sure she's the one doing all the voices
and stuff. Where's your uh, where's your song? See best
today and audio oh search fran titled I don't speaking.
(01:14:06):
Here's where it's not mine?
Speaker 6 (01:14:08):
Yeah, I'll help you find it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
Here is it? Because that was that was good? Yeah,
that guy was great.
Speaker 13 (01:14:15):
Yeah yeah them again, As I said many times during
the segment, no one praises Japan more than I do.
Speaker 6 (01:14:20):
Uh close second menace just like a.
Speaker 12 (01:14:24):
Like a respects for everything around there, make and then
leave it.
Speaker 8 (01:14:31):
So I think that's the reason.
Speaker 12 (01:14:32):
Why are we doing it?
Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
I know that's what do you think of school buses?
Speaker 6 (01:14:37):
The American classic school buses?
Speaker 13 (01:14:41):
Brilliant, dictually grape by guy who rang on the bank,
that's what we're looking at it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
Yeah, I don't know that's what they're enjoying, the school buses.
Speaker 6 (01:14:48):
Yeah, that was a thing.
Speaker 1 (01:14:50):
I know, we kind of highlighted everything and you know,
yeah said how everything was awesome. I don't know what
they got out of that.
Speaker 8 (01:14:57):
We love that they're happy here and they're having fun.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
I can not speak English, but I'm excited.
Speaker 13 (01:15:06):
I love him.
Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
And then he goes on to speak English like like
a pro, really good at it.
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:15:11):
I don't know where his his song is though, not
very organizing your folder here, man.
Speaker 1 (01:15:17):
Yeah, dude, it's speaking of like I was in I
was in Paris just yesterday and I was at the
hotel and I was trying to get some directions and
then the lady goes, oh, sorry, I don't speak English
very well, dude. She spoke English better than I can.
Speaker 5 (01:15:35):
Oh, that bar is very low.
Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
It's what's up with what's going down in SOCO sports
with Jeff g Hey, Jeff, what could you possibly have
to talk about in sports?
Speaker 6 (01:15:49):
Let's do a proper sports report, all right, We'll start
with the World Cup. It is a rap for a vehicle.
Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
The referee close to full time muschall.
Speaker 9 (01:15:58):
Under Lions roar.
Speaker 6 (01:16:03):
I'm gonna be honest. Mexico played a better game last night.
They had twice the chances on goal that England did.
And it really came down to like a two minute
stretch where England scored a couple really nice goals. Nice run, Mexico,
we appreciate it. You played hard and just because the
karma gods are out there, this was hilarious. And England
player who was on the bench wasn't even playing in
the whole game. He got so excited to celebrate he
(01:16:23):
jumped over one of those like barriers that are also advertisers,
you know, and he fell and broke his arm. How stupid.
Speaker 1 (01:16:31):
That's what he gets for winning.
Speaker 6 (01:16:34):
Today Portugal v Spain at noon and the USA Belgium
at five. Good news for the US. Bobbly gonna be playing.
His red card got reversed. According to Trumpito, he was
the reason why that happened. He called FIFA and got
it over turned. Baseball do Years took three out of
four from the San Diego Padres, their lead in the
West up to fourteen games. Dodgers are also setting five
players to the All Star Game in Philly, Munsey. Freeman, Otani, Yamamoto,
(01:16:57):
and Pahz all going to Philly. Angels got swept by
the Red Sox that Halo's are sending my trout to
the All Star Game in Philly. And that's the sports
right here on the show.
Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
I hope your weekend was good. Cheers and jeers, Yeah,
cheers to family time. And I hung out with Aunt Chrissy.
That was fun, you know my dad, my step mom. Yeah, yeah,
spending time with the anchriss I got. Jeff introduced.
Speaker 6 (01:17:33):
I FaceTime with her and when just when we were talking,
she's in just a small amount of time, she smoked
the heater. She also had a beer, yeah, and she
took some rips off a pipe. Y. I got everything, man.
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
My dad, My dad threw like a family get together,
you know, like having people over, you know, food and whatever.
And uh, she showed up and she didn't even bring
shoes with her. She got out of the car with
no shoes on was an indoor event, right, Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
Oh no, yeah, because my son even said, well, where
are your shoes?
Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
They're getting in the car, and he knows that she
was barefoot, and so you don't forget your shoes, oh, darling,
I didn't bring nice shoes.
Speaker 8 (01:18:14):
Like nothing, nothing, nothing, that's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
So she didn't wear shoes when you took her to
Taylor's wedding plus one.
Speaker 5 (01:18:23):
Yeah, so cheers to uh some family time. Jeers to
the ongoing drama at the grocery store deli counter. I
think they put the dumbest people at the deli counter
at the grocery store. They put the friendliest people in
the check out. That makes sense, right, They put the
people who can't speak a sentence at all loading the produce,
you know, they putting the stuff out or stocking shelves
(01:18:44):
or whatever because they don't have to really deal with anybody.
And then I think the people who are kind of
in between, they put him at the deli counter.
Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
I've told you, well you will.
Speaker 5 (01:18:51):
You will stand there, and there are people who are
like doing things back there, but they're not addressing the
people who are standing at the actual counter making chicken
or whatever the hell they're doing. And so I'm standing
there for five minutes and there's a guy back there,
but he's working that like that hot barb always eight
(01:19:11):
o'clock in the morning. Okay, so why you're putting the
hot bar stuff out? Now that's a lunch crowd thing.
Why why are you doing this? Was a Sunday, so
like why are you doing that? Like eight am on
a Sunday. Who's coming in that early for this kind
of stuff? Anyway? So finally I go, hey, excuse me, man,
is anybody working here here? There's not any anybody else
(01:19:32):
even waiting the guy? Is anybody working here?
Speaker 1 (01:19:35):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:19:35):
She'll be out in a minute, all right. Four minutes later,
here comes the woman. She's wheeling a cart out. She's
got like the coal slaw and the chicken sald and
the tuna south that they put in the case. You
can get it by the pound. I go uh, and
she sees me before I even have an opportunity to
say anything about, Hey, just need.
Speaker 3 (01:19:50):
A couple of things.
Speaker 5 (01:19:51):
She goes, just write down what you want on the
slip of paper there and we'll get to it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
And I go, uh.
Speaker 5 (01:19:57):
There's like a pad of paper and a pen sitting
on top of the case. And I go, how, how
this is the last thing I needed before I was
out of there. I've done all the other grocery shopping.
And I go, well, how long is that going to be?
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
She was, well, I gotta put this stuff in there,
then I gotta then I gotta drop some chicken in
the fry. I'm like, wait, I gotta wait for your checklist.
I don't see anybody.
Speaker 5 (01:20:16):
Here waiting for hot fried chicken. I do see somebody
here leading a couple of pounds of boar's head.
Speaker 8 (01:20:23):
Yeah, I don't think the manager trained.
Speaker 5 (01:20:25):
And I go, you know what, I don't I said,
I said, forget I you know, right down, I don't
have time for that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
I mean, forget it.
Speaker 5 (01:20:31):
It's yeah, And just the fact that she was telling
me all the things that she was gonna do before
helping me standing at the deli counter. And this is
the ongoing thing. They're always this particular store, the deli counter,
like it's always the rudest people.
Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
And I like this store.
Speaker 5 (01:20:47):
They have all the other things I love, and all
the other people are are very nice and very pleasant.
I think they just they just put the they put
these knuckle draggers at the at the deli counter.
Speaker 8 (01:20:58):
I'm convinced, Karen, you need to speak to the man
ycause that is crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:21:01):
I have called the front, remember I told you, like,
I stood there for at least ten minutes and there
was nobody, to be fair, there was nobody even walking
around behind there, so and I couldn't find any employees,
even in the area of the store.
Speaker 5 (01:21:14):
I kind of like, did that little look around. Maybe
someone's stock on a shelf or something. Didn't see anybody
called the store as I'm standing in the store, saying,
anybody work at your deli counter?
Speaker 3 (01:21:22):
Like yeah, why?
Speaker 5 (01:21:23):
And I go because I've been standing here for ten minutes.
And then the manager came over and then went back
there looking for people.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
Oh my god, yeah, yeah, crazy. I don't know what's
going on with these deli calendars.
Speaker 3 (01:21:33):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:21:33):
I know this is just between you and me, but
can you imagine waiting for someone to slice you? No, dude,
no way, I'm not going to wait more than thirty seconds.
There's like some kind of issue or whatever. I do
like the boor's head. I mean, I'm not saying it's
not delicit.
Speaker 13 (01:21:47):
Yeah, but I'm not going to go through all that
as people who don't wait for anything medis and I
stop in that area if it's prepackaged, way to grab
and go, okay, yeah, but there's no stopping for.
Speaker 3 (01:21:57):
That's the old time general store.
Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
I mean, if there's any there and they're willing to help,
then yeah, I'll go through the process. But if there's
like some kind of issue whatever.
Speaker 6 (01:22:04):
I'm out.
Speaker 1 (01:22:07):
Every counter of every grocery store.
Speaker 6 (01:22:09):
Yeah, dude, do you know what I have.
Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
I've gotten into multiple like issue arguments with are the
people that run the pizza at Whole Foods because if
you don't like pre order like a whole pizza, they
get i don't know, upset with you and go, yeah,
can I get a whole pizza? Like, well, no, did
you order it? And I know, well you have to
buy it by the size. I'm like all right, cool,
and they're like they get mad at me for some
(01:22:33):
reason because they think that's going to get you to
go away. Yeah, And I'm like, oh no, I'll buy
it whatever, And like, dude, they get so.
Speaker 5 (01:22:40):
Mad, I did you order it?
Speaker 11 (01:22:42):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:22:42):
Well can I order it?
Speaker 6 (01:22:44):
Order?
Speaker 1 (01:22:45):
Do you have? You have years in a brain that
can understand it?
Speaker 13 (01:22:47):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:22:48):
You need to download our app, greg, This is where
you need to download our app.
Speaker 3 (01:22:51):
Even though I'm standing right the biggest words from my mouth,
yeah this is my order.
Speaker 6 (01:22:57):
Yeah, especially right next to the real station.
Speaker 3 (01:22:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:22:59):
Like I'm sorry as the customer to put you out
at the deli counter. Person who works behind the deli
counter to get things from the deli counter. But I
should have known better.
Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
When I try to do that order and I did
pre order, I get nothing, but at it just.
Speaker 8 (01:23:13):
Why can't they have the Costco pizza phone? That's the
best I know that is? Are you serious? I don't
call inside the Costco they have phones so you can
put in your pizza.
Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
Is that right?
Speaker 3 (01:23:23):
Yeah? I didn't know that.
Speaker 5 (01:23:25):
I've never seen that.
Speaker 1 (01:23:28):
Sammy cheers and jeers, Well my cheers is you guys?
Speaker 12 (01:23:32):
I finally live with steamboat Willie.
Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
Did he carry you over the threshold the first time
you entered as a resident? No?
Speaker 10 (01:23:45):
No, absolutely not. We were probably lifting ad dresser or something.
Speaker 6 (01:23:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:23:50):
Yeah, that leads me to my jeers, which is not
hiring movers.
Speaker 8 (01:23:54):
I should have done that.
Speaker 6 (01:23:56):
I give you a cheap mover. That's really really good
in the area.
Speaker 13 (01:24:00):
That's what we've been saying right now, especially for someone
who literally doesn't have the upper body strength to plunge
a toilet works.
Speaker 6 (01:24:11):
But it's just like big items.
Speaker 11 (01:24:13):
Yeah, I mean I didn't have a ton of stuff
because I was just in like a six hundred square
foot one bedroom apartment. But moving all this stuff and
having to move it with him and the communication stuff,
because now we're holding a dresser or we're holding a couch.
Then not everything exactly, Not everything can turn or get
through a doorway, and so you have to lift it
or turn it one way.
Speaker 10 (01:24:33):
And then this is a conversation, right that he says,
move this that way.
Speaker 12 (01:24:37):
Well I'm holding like I don't know what.
Speaker 10 (01:24:39):
This that way is or what direction we're going, and
now I'm holding a couch.
Speaker 12 (01:24:43):
I'm like, okay, I can't do this.
Speaker 3 (01:24:51):
Okay, I don't think it's gonna pivot anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:24:53):
You think.
Speaker 5 (01:24:55):
Sammy and Steamboat will.
Speaker 6 (01:24:56):
It really was.
Speaker 8 (01:24:58):
So many walls were hit, is his thought.
Speaker 1 (01:25:00):
I would never think to ask you to move other
you know, clothes and dishes and stuff like.
Speaker 5 (01:25:04):
That's insane. I would look at you once and go like, yeah,
she's kind to be pretty useless in this capacity.
Speaker 3 (01:25:09):
Anything.
Speaker 11 (01:25:10):
Well, yeah no, And I brought that up and he
was like, no, no, it's fine. And again, please remember
you can do.
Speaker 1 (01:25:15):
It like crochet a potholder or something.
Speaker 9 (01:25:18):
She's your gal that.
Speaker 11 (01:25:19):
Most of my furniture is like Ikeia style stuff in
the sense of it's very light. It's not hard solid
wood that's super heavy. The couch comes apart in a
couple pieces. It really wasn't super heavy, but it's more awkward.
And he's in a townhouse and I am already so
tired of stairs, so many stairs.
Speaker 12 (01:25:40):
Oh yeah, it's going to be I'm not used to it.
Speaker 13 (01:25:42):
You don't have any partners, I mean friends that can
out there, and you think he knows somebody from like
two am on a Sunday. There comes big strung men.
Speaker 5 (01:25:52):
There comes a point where you just decide that you
know what. Assuming you get to a position in your
life where you have a couple bucks to throw to
a mover, there's times that you don't, or you have
a couple extra bucks to stay at a hotel as
opposed to sleeping on someone's couch when you're visiting from
out of town.
Speaker 3 (01:26:10):
You do that right.
Speaker 1 (01:26:12):
And moving is one of those things.
Speaker 5 (01:26:14):
Man, you learn the heart.
Speaker 1 (01:26:16):
There's so many people. That's why we keep that.
Speaker 5 (01:26:17):
We've been saying like it's pro tip, pro tip.
Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
You destroy yourself.
Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
Okay, you destroy you destroy your stuff because you're running
in the walls.
Speaker 6 (01:26:27):
I push.
Speaker 13 (01:26:29):
Tool chest a mile down the street. You'd either hire
somebody or be a big strong man, there's no way.
Speaker 5 (01:26:36):
Between, or just put it on the corner with a
sticker that is free sea bass cheers and.
Speaker 1 (01:26:42):
Jeers, well, cheers to real America.
Speaker 13 (01:26:44):
I was driving around July third, and I was in Samy,
Northern Massachusetts slash southern New Hampshire, and suddenly I noticed
there were folding chairs and lawn chairs just on the sidewalk.
Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:26:57):
Put two and two together, like, oh, they're lining up
for the fireworks play the next day.
Speaker 6 (01:27:02):
And guess what.
Speaker 13 (01:27:03):
In real America, no one, no one thinks that there's
if that happened in a big city, gone through second.
But in real America, you can leave your lawn chair
and no one's gonna take it. It's gonna sit there.
I drove by a house in the same neighborhood. I
hadn't seen this in a decade. Probably there was a
kid's bike just loose in the front yard.
Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
What like, what Mayberry's somebody stolen. Because I've lived in.
Speaker 13 (01:27:25):
Big cities ever since I went to college, it was
like that, there's no way anyone would ever do that
because it'd be gone in three seconds.
Speaker 1 (01:27:31):
But it's driving around real America. Yeah, man, that's awesome.
Has like a big paraded and like fireworks thing. Every
year and you go down there a day or two
in advance, like people got all those like, uh, those
field chairs, Yeah, I mean they're there, they're clapped up
and everything, but they're sitting on the spot along the
sidewalk over the little bridge. Yeah, and forget forgetting on them.
Speaker 5 (01:27:54):
Und no, nothing, it just it just sits there.
Speaker 6 (01:27:55):
Forget not getting stolen like other people would come and
move them.
Speaker 13 (01:27:58):
And like I'm taking right, But in real America, the
chair right, things don't could just get taken disappear.
Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
That's so quaint.
Speaker 13 (01:28:07):
It's so it was just and by the way, and
also ps a secondary shout out to speaking of real America,
ABC doing their two hundred and fiftieth in Nashville.
Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
While I was there.
Speaker 13 (01:28:16):
I didn't go down because I'd be insane, but our
good friend Ryan Seacrest was hosting the Three Hot Chicks.
Speaker 1 (01:28:22):
I don't even know who they were.
Speaker 13 (01:28:24):
It was like a blonde Southern accent singing country fireworks
going off.
Speaker 1 (01:28:29):
Like oh yeah in Nashville nice and jeers, oh, jeers.
Speaker 13 (01:28:36):
I predict we'll be able to track the decline of
America by which states do the goddamn paper bags because
you drive like for instance, from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and
you go from insane paper bag with no handles on
it to a little tiny plastic bag that everyone had
for decades. And then about ten we're old enough to
remember about ten years ago states started getting crazy. And
(01:28:57):
this is from New Jersey to Oregon and every we're
in between, and and it does that, Oh, we're saving
the planet.
Speaker 6 (01:29:04):
No you're not.
Speaker 13 (01:29:05):
Evidence number five billion, Exhibit number twenty five hundred, menace.
What's in front of you right there? Oh, the McDonald's
plastic cup, the plastic cup wrapped in plasticatic right, we
don't care about you. If this is the ultimate and
like performative nonsense. The the banning plastic bags at the
grocery store, because when you're standing there waiting to get
(01:29:27):
your paper bag, that's gonna rip in three seconds. Look
what's on either side of you. Candy all in plastic wrappers.
Every given cars store, which are made in plastic. Attached
to everything is plastic wrapped in plastic. But we decided
not we, not we, not you and me jackasses decided that.
Speaker 8 (01:29:43):
Well, you know, we're gonna get the plastic bags out
of the way.
Speaker 1 (01:29:45):
Yeah, Well, I did some research on that. I don't
think you were here and I talked about it. It
actually came from Ireland because Ireland there were so trashy
that they all their bags were ending up in the ocean.
So then they did this thing. And then some dork
in DC he decided, oh, that's a good idea, and
we can we can figure out how to tax people
even more.
Speaker 3 (01:30:05):
And then it just sprays.
Speaker 13 (01:30:06):
Yeah exactly, and you guys know, you guys were in
San Francisco and perhaps future president told you why he
played banned plastic bags in San Francisco.
Speaker 5 (01:30:13):
Yeah, they were the first city to do it. We
used to have when Gavin Newsom was the mayor of
San Francisco. He would come in and Greg and I
would like break his balls about a thousand and he
and Greg would like you know, they did and heeded
arguments back and forth, and uh, anyway, we were talking
about because San Francisco was one of the first, maybe
(01:30:34):
the first major city to ban the plastic shopping back
and this is like two thousand and seven. Yeah, okay, anyway,
so we're talking to him like that's stupid. I said, hey,
now I'm driving to the grocery store. That's literally across
the street from where I was living, because before I
would go there get as every person knows, you get
all the stuff out of your car, you drape the
(01:30:54):
handles of the plastic bags over strength manliness, Yeah, test
to strength, the manliness to bring them all in the
house one trip, you know, to keep going back and forth.
But because of the paper bags, even with the handles
which never.
Speaker 13 (01:31:05):
Work, those rip off, or if you grab you have
more than three ounces in the side walls broke out.
So I said, you know, now it's like if I
have any more than two bags for the stuff I'm
driving across the street. So anyway, so he gives his
political answer. The microphones go off, and he says, do you.
Speaker 3 (01:31:25):
Think I give an f about plastic bags? This was
an f you to the grocers union. Hat of fight.
Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
You had to beat the grocers union did something, and
so he this is an f you back to them.
Speaker 1 (01:31:39):
A long time.
Speaker 3 (01:31:40):
Do you think I care.
Speaker 13 (01:31:43):
To get a paper bag at the grocery store but
at the Chinese restaurant next door?
Speaker 1 (01:31:47):
That one.
Speaker 3 (01:31:49):
Fantastic in the ocean.
Speaker 1 (01:31:50):
Yeah, because going back to the DC thing, the dork
in d C. He said, oh, that was a good idea.
So they just passed the law, but no one actually
jumped on it till years later.
Speaker 6 (01:32:00):
You're in San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
Yeah, yeah, so that's that's you. I say, you know,
if you're in real America.
Speaker 13 (01:32:03):
Like guess when you go to BUCkies in Texas you
get a plastic bag in a styrofoam.
Speaker 1 (01:32:09):
The Woody Show a bit.
Speaker 3 (01:32:13):
Woody Show, alright, so.
Speaker 5 (01:32:17):
We've had you know, regular prices, right, Uh, dark Web
price is right. Morgan found all those like, you know,
things that you could buy off the dark off the
dark Web, erawon. Price is right with menace. And then
guess where guess where Tyler just visited here recently with
(01:32:43):
good good guess, Tiffany.
Speaker 4 (01:32:45):
No, actually, uh, I went to Texas and stopped by BUCkies, all.
Speaker 5 (01:32:51):
Right, So he went to uh BUCkies, and he has
some items from BUCkies that we can use for this
round of.
Speaker 1 (01:32:56):
The price is right Buckets prices, Yeah, it's like a
BUCkies price right now.
Speaker 5 (01:33:02):
One thing he brought this is not like for the prices, right,
He's brought it for the Woody Show food table. And
I know you guys are gonna hate on it, but
I do love me some salt water taffy. And he
brought a bag of BUCkies salt water taff.
Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
To put my BUCkies jersey on. Oh yeah, yeah, I
guess how much this is? Like thirty bucks quite cheap. Actually,
all right, so how I I'm just gonna shift. We
got to try to guess how much it is.
Speaker 3 (01:33:26):
So there's one thing actually specifically for everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:33:29):
Oh a time, real quick, all right, And mine is
not the salt water taffy, No it is not.
Speaker 3 (01:33:35):
That was free free of charge. You got that.
Speaker 5 (01:33:37):
He brought it some jerky because I got a touch
jersey jerkey caste.
Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
Yeah yeah, all right, start with you, all right, this
fine little BUCkies blanket. It's very solid, very soft. Yeah,
it's really really soft.
Speaker 6 (01:33:50):
I actually own one of those.
Speaker 1 (01:33:52):
Actually actually now for real, now, let me ask you
what made you think of me with a blanket.
Speaker 3 (01:33:58):
Who doesn't want a blanket?
Speaker 1 (01:33:59):
The guy who wear shorts in January?
Speaker 6 (01:34:02):
Youstmore?
Speaker 1 (01:34:05):
Oh then you're so, you're so grown up.
Speaker 3 (01:34:06):
Now, Plus you could use it for you and the
dog to cuddle.
Speaker 5 (01:34:09):
That's a grown up thing. Shorts, No, no, no, not
wearing wear shorts. Yeah, you've graduated even in the summertime.
Speaker 1 (01:34:15):
Your short pants, I'm saying, but in the summer, like yeah,
because that's a very it's a very like managed thing
to do, is that right?
Speaker 8 (01:34:21):
Yeah, like they say in Sopranos, the don doesn't wear shorts.
Speaker 1 (01:34:24):
Yes, yes, it's I don't care. It's just the first
I've heard that.
Speaker 13 (01:34:29):
But it's a guy who sweat again, sweats in the snow.
As he says, staying warm is not a high priority.
Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
Right.
Speaker 5 (01:34:34):
Anyway, Bucky's a blanket. It's fifty inches by seventy inches.
Speaker 1 (01:34:38):
How much for this Bucky's blank.
Speaker 8 (01:34:39):
It has BUCkies logo all over it?
Speaker 3 (01:34:42):
Yes it does. Yeah, black with yellow logo.
Speaker 1 (01:34:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:34:46):
Thirty bucks nineteen? Wait wait your jersey was how much?
Speaker 1 (01:34:51):
Again?
Speaker 6 (01:34:51):
You don't tell him?
Speaker 5 (01:34:53):
I said about thirty It kind of gives us a
kind of gives very reference. Very afore it fine?
Speaker 8 (01:34:59):
Twenty b nineteen, I'd say, twelve ninety nine.
Speaker 3 (01:35:04):
Fifteen bucks? What a deal?
Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
Hell yeah, real America.
Speaker 5 (01:35:09):
It's very soul, its soft. Yeah, it's one hundred percent polyesters,
keep away from flame. Right, Yeah, yeah, what's next?
Speaker 4 (01:35:19):
I got Sammy next? Okay, we have a Bucky style
Stanley mug. Is it style or is that an actual
Stanley that they branded. It's not an actual Stanley, they
but it's just there almost to a tea though.
Speaker 10 (01:35:33):
No.
Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
Yeah, it's really good quality.
Speaker 13 (01:35:34):
So you can get that style mug without paying a
billion dollars. Yes, wow, to give away the price.
Speaker 5 (01:35:39):
I watched a episode of Shark Tank and this woman
was on there. She had a company that basically they
just make all these like charms and things for like
accessories for your stanleyclable and yeah, like it's you know
how people have those things on their phone cases where
it's a little wallet in the backside.
Speaker 1 (01:35:58):
It's basically a little wallet that you would attached to
your Stanley.
Speaker 5 (01:36:01):
I was at there's another like little straw top of
like a star that attaches to the top of the straw.
Speaker 13 (01:36:06):
I was at a gym gymnastic charms. Yeah, and they
have little holders you put your phone in there. Yeah,
you had they have a straw holder of straw, a snack.
Speaker 6 (01:36:15):
It's a wallet.
Speaker 1 (01:36:17):
Yeah, like a whole person.
Speaker 5 (01:36:18):
I didn't stick around and see if she got a deal.
Speaker 3 (01:36:19):
I have no idea. Probably she probably did, because they're
standlies of the world that will keep them in business.
Speaker 8 (01:36:25):
Yeah, yeah, this is okay.
Speaker 10 (01:36:27):
So this is a forty ounce tumbler. It is not
as heavy as a standling.
Speaker 5 (01:36:30):
What did the knockoff Stanleys go for like a target?
Speaker 8 (01:36:36):
I'm going to say eighteen eighteen dollars?
Speaker 3 (01:36:39):
It is twenty five?
Speaker 6 (01:36:42):
It is me all right? Should I put it next
to the white claw one.
Speaker 13 (01:36:47):
I was also at a theater recently where they had
a Lost and found with no less than fifteen abandoned Stanleys.
Speaker 1 (01:36:53):
I'm really saving the planet with these things.
Speaker 3 (01:36:55):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:36:56):
Pro tip if you want a free charger for your
phone you're at any hotel, just go to the lobby
and go, hey, excuse me. I would just here a
couple of weeks ago, and I left my charger in
the room, and they go, what does it looks like?
You go, it's just a white USBC apple. They bring
out like a tub full of actually might have been black.
Speaker 1 (01:37:17):
Okay that one.
Speaker 5 (01:37:17):
Yeah, I just learned that from an airline pilot who's
at these hotels all the time. He's like, yeah, you
forget anything, just go down the front desk. I was
just here a week ago, described in the most generic terms.
They go, they don't care.
Speaker 6 (01:37:28):
I was like six feet eighteen feet.
Speaker 5 (01:37:31):
I left my Stanley here. What does it looks like?
Speaker 1 (01:37:34):
It's like one of those big mugs with the handles
on it. Look yeah, how what's the next thing? Point?
Speaker 4 (01:37:38):
Next thing is for Sea Bass, Sea Bass. I know
you wear a lot of hats on the show, and
I know you've also worn a lot of costumes. So
how about a Bucky's hat that has his own little.
Speaker 3 (01:37:48):
Beaver ears on.
Speaker 6 (01:37:53):
Screen? That would go actually really well.
Speaker 3 (01:37:54):
With her jersey.
Speaker 13 (01:37:55):
It's corn Now, these are not to crap on the
Mickey ears people, but these are these ears are on
the sides, not the top, little poofy ones?
Speaker 5 (01:38:04):
Is that where isn't that where beaver's ears would be?
Speaker 1 (01:38:06):
Exactly so they're anatomically correct.
Speaker 6 (01:38:08):
Uh snap back?
Speaker 1 (01:38:09):
Now the question is with my giant skull full of brains?
Speaker 6 (01:38:12):
Does fit?
Speaker 1 (01:38:13):
You should have to go to the very last snap?
Speaker 6 (01:38:15):
Are you like a size eight? I almost it barely fits?
Speaker 1 (01:38:19):

Speaker 6 (01:42:30):
Yeah, it's going World's Best Father or something.
Speaker 1 (01:42:35):
I don't have to if he did, like a limited
edition like him. We made like fifty of these things.
Speaker 13 (01:42:41):
By the way, that's that's bronze or bronze casted or
something that's not plassic.

Speaker 6 (01:43:08):
Yeah, hell yeah, thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:43:13):
A round of Bunkies.
Speaker 1 (01:43:15):
Beaver nuggets in there.
Speaker 4 (01:43:16):
Those beaver nuggets are good, very good. But I went
a couple of days ago. I'm like, I might be
a little stale by.
Speaker 1 (01:43:22):
That, and so stale plastic yeah stale.
Speaker 3 (01:43:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:43:27):
They said they will last about a month.
Speaker 3 (01:43:29):
Take his hands, not.
Speaker 1 (01:43:30):
Pitched fresh from the field, refrigerated. Yeah, you know, it's
like bananas. And raspberry. They're fine in the store and
the minute you get them home, they're already brown and molded.
The corn puffs no more, yeah, fried corn puffs more
what he shows next?
Speaker 6 (01:43:47):
I love it, love.
Speaker 5 (01:43:53):
That video that we shot Greg for the fireworks or
for the July because they were just going on and
on what felt and on, which, by the way, we
knew it was gonna be going on for a while.
It's it's crazy you talk about people menace like they
just have no concept of sarcasm or whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:44:13):
It's like, oh, fail, guys, I know.
Speaker 3 (01:44:17):
I knew I didn't, right, it was still.
Speaker 6 (01:44:20):
Yeah, that's what.
Speaker 5 (01:44:23):
Anyway, if you have if you haven't seen that video,
it's posted on Instagram. We were at Captain Jim's fireworks
and they set off like all these fireworks behind us.
Speaker 1 (01:44:32):
We just recorded a like a happy Fourth of July for.
Speaker 5 (01:44:34):
The Woodes Show kind of thing, and they just went
on and on and Greg and I just doing these
awkward poses to kill time. But when we filmed that,
Captain Jim had these like wireless little microphones Lava mic
so you can get for shooting your your videos and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:44:51):
On the T shirt.
Speaker 5 (01:44:52):
It was so loud all because there was a multiple
fireworks that they lit off like all the same time.
It was so loud and it sounded so good. I
had no idea how it was going to sound. But
when I heard the video, watch the video, I was like, wow,
it's so. I bought some of those uh those little
wireless mics nice yeah yeah no, and they're like seventy
five bucks and they're really good.
Speaker 1 (01:45:12):
It's so crazy on how Yeah, the costs of those
things have dropped and the quality is so so good.
Speaker 5 (01:45:18):
Mahano m hey o n O. If you go on
Amazon the that's the brand m A O n O
and these are the whatever they just usb C they
do lightning you know for whatever. Yeah, it's but they're
really good. So that was that was a good purchase
for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:45:38):
That's that's worth it.
Speaker 5 (01:45:38):
We do like what do you show? Is it worth
an ish you're looking for something like that, It's definitely
worth an issue. If you watch that video you can
hear how good that sounds. I can't even describe how
loud it was. He's like like right behind our heads.
Speaker 3 (01:45:51):
Yeah, I had those good and we have to do
that again. I know. Not good for the ears.
Speaker 13 (01:45:56):
That's one thing like audio video wise, when you watch
like the latest Jacket movie and they're showing you old
clips of like the year two thousand orty eight, when
they're shooting that jackass stuff and it just looks and
sounds like garbage.
Speaker 1 (01:46:06):
It's really just in lifetimes.
Speaker 3 (01:46:08):
Yeah. Crazy. Oh and uh, speaking of.
Speaker 5 (01:46:11):
New things, Morgan got some new pants. I do now
there's a story. There's a story behind these pants.
Speaker 12 (01:46:18):
Oh, I mean a little one. Well, they came from Sammy.
I know, Sammy, sweetheart.
Speaker 5 (01:46:23):
Yeah, but you have no idea how much you touched
Morgan with giving her these pants.
Speaker 3 (01:46:28):
I'm listening.
Speaker 1 (01:46:31):
I think you were.
Speaker 2 (01:46:32):
You were like legitimately touched by one of those a
babe moments. I got a text from Sammy like, hey,
I thought of you.
Speaker 12 (01:46:37):
Would you like this? And I'm like, oh, bag, I
think it's.
Speaker 5 (01:46:41):
A much bigger deal to her than you realize the
fact you even thought about her and gave her these
pots and pants.
Speaker 12 (01:46:46):
Oh I know, Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 10 (01:46:47):
Glad you like them.
Speaker 11 (01:46:48):
Obviously, I just moved and I got rid of nearly nothing.
I was keeping everything, but I didn't need pots, and
I wasn't keeping them. But they're still very new. I
mean they're pink.
Speaker 8 (01:47:00):
Didn't you get like pink ones or something not pots?
Speaker 1 (01:47:03):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:47:03):
No, yeah, yeah, and there's pans.
Speaker 1 (01:47:05):
I mean it sounds.
Speaker 4 (01:47:08):
So I did.
Speaker 10 (01:47:08):
I just thought like maybe Morgan would want these rather
than donating them.
Speaker 2 (01:47:11):
So it was a great set. And my friend was like,
does she think you're poor or something. I'm like, I
don't care what she thinks.
Speaker 5 (01:47:19):
She must actually like me deep down. Did you think
that Sammy didn't like you?
Speaker 12 (01:47:23):
I mean, I'm sure we all have moments, but you know, really.
Speaker 5 (01:47:27):
Because I never I never picked up on that at all.
I never thought like, oh, I don't think that Sammy
likes Morgan.
Speaker 12 (01:47:31):
I'm not saying that. No, I'm saying it was an
all babe moment, like wow.
Speaker 5 (01:47:36):
And you you you got something. You finally she finally
got We've been telling her forever for years.
Speaker 3 (01:47:41):
The ring.
Speaker 8 (01:47:42):
Yeah, I've wanted it for years. Ye I did notice
it and during that Amazon Prime deal days I've been
tracking it. It said, this is the lowest it's ever
gonna go. That's not the new that's not the new one,
the next new one before because they just came came out.
Speaker 5 (01:47:55):
They just came out with the or Ring five that's
why these are on sale. Women seem to like those
better than these because they're they're thinner. Yeah, they're not
as like bulky. And that was like my wife didn't
like the or.
Speaker 8 (01:48:07):
These were heavily discounted, and that's what I so, and
you could only get silver. I wanted gold, but I
just wanted everyone was discounted. And it's awesome, but it's
giving me some bad news. One of the reasons I
was avoiding getting an r ring Apparently I don't sleep either.
Speaker 2 (01:48:21):
Greg.
Speaker 8 (01:48:21):
Oh yeah, my sleep score is consistently a fifty eight
and everything's like in the.
Speaker 6 (01:48:26):
Red then, but it tells you what to do in order.
Speaker 8 (01:48:30):
To collect stop looking at your phone.
Speaker 5 (01:48:33):
Well, no, I mean when I The reason I got
the ORR ring is for the sleep tracking. It's one
of the best, if not the best sleep tracker out
there other than getting like some kind official sleep study
kind of thing done, which is why I got it.
And it's done a great job. The reason I went
with that as opposed to one of the you know,
like Apple Watch will do that kind of stuff too.
(01:48:54):
It'll grade your sleep, but like, uh, that has to
be charged every single day, and when you charge that,
when you usually charge that when you're sleeping exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:49:02):
There wasn't like an otherwise you're charging it.
Speaker 5 (01:49:05):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, but this is this you only have
to charge the oor ring only has to charge like
once every three or four days.
Speaker 7 (01:49:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:49:11):
And there's a there's a phrase that I wish I
didn't know now, but I know what my sleep debt
is and I, oh.
Speaker 6 (01:49:17):
I owe a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:49:18):
Well yeah, but see this is this is why it
was really great for me because I was a mess
like that as well. Yeah, and now it's like my
my my sleep score like it give is like an
ongoing my average eighty oh lucky, even with the schedule.
Speaker 8 (01:49:34):
Okay, I'm excited to get better then. But it is
fun and I'm glad I got it, and I'm glad
to wait until it was on sale.
Speaker 3 (01:49:39):
Yeah, that's something new for you to be obsessed with.
Speaker 5 (01:49:41):
Exactly, you guys are because even if you like efficiency
or restfulness, sleep deep sleep, but if you can click
on the individual things and it tells you kind of
what it's looking for, what it's you know, grading you
on what steps too.
Speaker 8 (01:49:55):
Yeah, tracks all that and it even tells me when
to change when to change my birth control patch. Whoa,
it's got it all.
Speaker 5 (01:50:01):
Yeah, like you know, stress, heart rate, oxygen.
Speaker 8 (01:50:05):
Ye, my heart rate's pretty good.
Speaker 5 (01:50:06):
Seventy Is that good your nighttime breathing. It'll tell you
if you have inconsistent breathing.
Speaker 8 (01:50:11):
Yeah, like if you have wait, wait, SeaBASS.
Speaker 6 (01:50:14):
Is that not good?
Speaker 1 (01:50:15):
It's getting up there, it is.
Speaker 8 (01:50:17):
What do you say, seventy six? It's not terrible my
heart rate?
Speaker 1 (01:50:23):
That's your resting heart rate. I don't know what was
it saying, Well, it'll say low.
Speaker 5 (01:50:27):
What does it say.
Speaker 8 (01:50:28):
Sleep when I'm asleep? It's about seventy six?
Speaker 5 (01:50:32):
Oh that's high for sleeping.
Speaker 3 (01:50:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:50:34):
I shouldn't have gotten this.
Speaker 5 (01:50:35):
God, even what he says. Yeah, it's like it's supposed
to be like my average, like my aage. So it
takes the entire day start to finish. My average is
seventy four the entire day. Now he's running all the
running that.
Speaker 8 (01:50:50):
I really should be in the just Jesus forty four?
Speaker 1 (01:50:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (01:50:55):
Am I dying?
Speaker 3 (01:50:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:50:57):
But Jesus Christ.
Speaker 5 (01:50:58):
But he's also like he's working out all the time
and still sleeping and sleeping.
Speaker 6 (01:51:02):
Resting rate is at forty four. That's seping. Yeah, Okay,
we're both almost dead.
Speaker 8 (01:51:06):
It's a different way cool, all right, So what do
I want it to be?
Speaker 7 (01:51:10):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:51:10):
Sixty sleep heart rate range? Yeah, and I think in
the sixties.
Speaker 6 (01:51:13):
Between forty four and fifty seven is what my okay.
Speaker 8 (01:51:17):
It says I'm between seventy one and eighty two, you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:51:20):
But I'm saying, like, for sleeping, what's the what's the
average range's saying most healthy adults between forty and sixty.
Speaker 1 (01:51:26):
I've never had it in the forties.
Speaker 5 (01:51:27):
Yeah, because my sleeping is right around sixty, it'll be
like sixty two.
Speaker 8 (01:51:31):
Okay, But what's the advice on getting your heart rate
to slow down while you're sleeping?
Speaker 3 (01:51:34):
Uh, you know, not to explode.
Speaker 5 (01:51:36):
Because like your heart rate will be up like if
you had a meal too close to bedtime because your
metabolism is going more.
Speaker 1 (01:51:41):
It's all like that.
Speaker 5 (01:51:42):
That raises stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:51:44):
But so you learn about that stuff and you learn
get it, keep you posted.
Speaker 3 (01:51:48):
It's good.
Speaker 8 (01:51:48):
It's fun. Though I don't like the smell.
Speaker 1 (01:51:56):
So got the U forgot the audien.
Speaker 5 (01:51:59):
We'll finally found it. And Seamass's audio folder is just chaos. Well,
there's so many things in there, but I don't think
he like how you label stuff, not for this this
particular folder. We had that Crossroads email, and then the
person was upset about the the segment we were playing
the fans that were traveling to America for the first time.
(01:52:21):
They were so excited and getting into all the Americans
like this guy, I.
Speaker 1 (01:52:25):
Can to speak English, but I'm excited. I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:52:31):
And then I was looking for the song that you
spent all this time producing me and y yeah right
h with that guy's.
Speaker 9 (01:52:43):
Excited so good banger.
Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
It took me two hours to find it with his
actual name hero Chico.
Speaker 5 (01:53:09):
Yeah, that's the thing I would have never remembered. So
I got to, like, you know, list things with a
bunch of keywords, so I can. I can find it
all right.
Speaker 1 (01:53:17):
Uh, how about around it? You feel me?
Speaker 6 (01:53:19):
Oh okay, feel well.
Speaker 5 (01:53:21):
This dude he had a bit of a meltdown over
people on bicycles, not not motorcycles, actual cyclists. Cyclists. Yes,
well as he should. Yeah, not everyone on a bike.
I think we all know the type that that he's
talking about. But hear his rant and let's just say,
for the sake of argument, that he's saying, you feel.
Speaker 7 (01:53:41):
Me, I cannot stand these bicycle as what I'm doing
thirty and a fifty Because I'm stuck behind eight grown
men dressed like radioactive highlighters.
Speaker 9 (01:53:52):
I started to develop opinions.
Speaker 7 (01:53:53):
Why the fuck are you guys riding three deep down
the road like they're not handing out gold medals at
the end of this can called the sack? And why
the do you wear the Spanex with all the sponsor names,
Like nobody is looking at you and saying, oh, this
forty three year old might be the future of athletics. Meanwhile,
traffic is backed up three fing zip codes because Chad
(01:54:13):
and has toured a midlife crisis thinks the fucking road
belongs to him and teams Spandex thunder And then when
you go to pass them, they throw their hands up
like you're the villain, Like you just violated the Geneva Convention. Meanwhile,
you just spend ten thousand dollars to be the world's
most expensive inconvenience.
Speaker 3 (01:54:30):
Why do these guys travel in packs? One bicycle is sure,
I can handle that, but.
Speaker 13 (01:54:34):
Eight of them, Yeah, I mean decent, there's some of
the word and and they're very and they pick and
choose when they the follow the rules of the road, except.
Speaker 3 (01:54:43):
When somebody comes out flying through a stop.
Speaker 1 (01:54:45):
Yeah exactly, Yeah, he's right, He's totally right.
Speaker 3 (01:54:48):
I mean some look and most of them ride where
there's a bike lane, they'll ride just outside the panded
line of the bike lane. Okay, you understand the bike
lane is for the bike part of the.
Speaker 1 (01:54:58):
Road, Greg. Yeah, that's the same as cars.
Speaker 5 (01:55:01):
That's yeah, that's that's for them to be able to
make their point, yes, right, then they and then they
get upset when people rage at them because yeah, you're
holding up this big long It's like you ever get
behind like someone's moving a construction guy's moving like a
backo from you know, one job site down the road.
(01:55:21):
He's driving on the main road. You get behind like
a tractor. If you're going through like a rural area,
you'll get behind a tractor and they at least will
like every once in a while, pull over, let a
bunch of traffic pass them before then getting back on
the road. Not cyclists. Oh no, we're going to make
a point.
Speaker 1 (01:55:37):
It's like the person who's.
Speaker 5 (01:55:38):
On the highway and they're basically speed monitoring everybody like nope,
I'm going to speed them and I'm going to stay
in this lane. Technically I'm allowed, and I'm gonna keep everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:55:47):
Else from being able to go faster.
Speaker 13 (01:55:48):
And yeah, it's your your as he says that your
recreation is a burden to everyone else.
Speaker 6 (01:55:53):
Yes, it's not victim.
Speaker 1 (01:55:56):
As you said, you look terrible doing it.
Speaker 5 (01:55:59):
He hit it in this Okay. So you could be
into something, right, like you could be into cycling or whatever.
It doesn't mean that you're immediately, you know, a jerk.
But man, when you start getting like the full body suits, like, again,
you're not there's no metals at the end of the
call de sack as he pointed out.
Speaker 6 (01:56:16):
Yeah, but it's for aerodynamics.
Speaker 3 (01:56:17):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:56:18):
It's like people who recreationally swim shaving down. Yeah, right,
like you're you're just recreationally swimming. You're not in the Olympics.
But they have personal goals. I'm trying to close all
these circles.
Speaker 6 (01:56:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:56:32):
I hate it when you get stuck behind them at
a red light and there's the three guys on the bikes.
Speaker 1 (01:56:35):
Yeah, but they're in the lane, middle of the lane.
Speaker 5 (01:56:38):
Yeah, they're like, yeah, there's two lanes light and there's
they're sitting in the light like a car would well,
at least they're stopped at the light.
Speaker 1 (01:56:43):
Yeah, that's the Again, we'll give them the credit for that. Hypothetically,
you're obeying all the traffic rules like you're supposed.
Speaker 3 (01:56:47):
To, but then the light turns green and it's half
an hour for you to get going.
Speaker 1 (01:56:52):
Yeah yeah, so uh yeah, do you need to have
you're a recreational clists, like you have the shoes and
you're clicking in.
Speaker 8 (01:57:04):
Like better Yeah, I guess have those mirrors on their glasses.
Speaker 1 (01:57:10):
Yeah, it's just it's it's going, it's going.
Speaker 5 (01:57:12):
Uh, it's just the the the degree of going overboard,
you know, like you you flare, well yeah, because you
dress up. It's like little kids who you know, they're
in the fire trucks and whatever, and so they get
like the helmet and the whole thing and they got
to look the part.
Speaker 6 (01:57:27):
But I think there's like teams and stuff. Is a
team sports? Is it point ones or not?
Speaker 1 (01:57:35):
I don't know, and I don't care, but I think
I think I'm just trying to understand.
Speaker 3 (01:57:40):
It's like a bowling league. They have yea and races
and all.
Speaker 13 (01:57:44):
Is there is there anything else that people say it's
for health or recreation that that that hurts other people,
that's inconveniences that it's like like a bowling not the
way of other people, golf, competitive smoking, shooting public parts,
a competitive indoor smoker at the library.
Speaker 6 (01:58:03):
There's nothing like you know, boxing, whatever, there's nothing.
Speaker 13 (01:58:05):
There's no other sport or activity that's actively is a
problem for everyone else everybody's way.
Speaker 3 (01:58:10):
Yeah, so on the.
Speaker 5 (01:58:11):
Text over to two two nine eight seven, you feel
this from this dude for the most part, one hundred
get it. I'm going overall, yes, get it, yes, yes, yes, everybody.
Yet is there a no in the room because.
Speaker 11 (01:58:23):
We're I mean, I get the outfits and stuff because
it's supposed to be that's more comfortable.
Speaker 10 (01:58:27):
Well yeah, I mean, but that's what you wear and
other stuffer whatever gear you're supposed to wear for anything.
Speaker 6 (01:58:32):
You're a sports fat shack.
Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
But for guys, no one wants to see there's no
real reason.
Speaker 10 (01:58:39):
But you think that they're not wearing it for you
to look at them, they're wearing it.
Speaker 5 (01:58:43):
That's yeah, yeah, that that's where in this particular case,
I disagree.
Speaker 12 (01:58:48):
Really yeah, I think it's for reason.
Speaker 5 (01:58:50):
Yeah, and they need to stand and I will intentionally
not even look the direction of somebody that we know
is desperately trying to get your attention to be it
with their car or like some crazy thing that they're doing,
or like the appear. Yeah, exactly like you intended. Because
they're so they're so desperate for that attention, they're not
even looking.
Speaker 3 (01:59:10):
No, I will not do you that pleasure.
Speaker 10 (01:59:12):
But what about like a surfer wearing a wet suit.
You don't feel that way about them.
Speaker 13 (01:59:17):
That's actively for their a personal warrant as well, and
rash guarding you can buy. There are all kinds of
I'm looking at them right now. There are all kinds
of track style pants that get are not loose. I'm
not going to catch in your gears that are not
skin tight and short not only on their ass but
their guts too.
Speaker 10 (01:59:33):
But I thought was a chafing thing.
Speaker 3 (01:59:35):
And do they have the built.
Speaker 1 (01:59:37):
Yeah, you can do all that stuff that we're underwear.
Speaker 5 (01:59:41):
We get it, Woody. You can't ride a bike or
fit into the suit.
Speaker 4 (01:59:43):
That's always.
Speaker 6 (01:59:46):
These guys shouldn't be in these suits either.
Speaker 5 (01:59:47):
Whenever you have something that's like really stupid, like you're
watching like something, you go like, I don't know why anyway?
Speaker 3 (01:59:53):
Why?
Speaker 1 (01:59:54):
Well, it's because you can't. No, it's not because it's
not that I can't.
Speaker 5 (01:59:56):
You're right, I couldn't do a floor routine for gymnastics, right.
It doesn't mean that's the reason I don't find it interesting.
Speaker 1 (02:00:04):
The girl with the girl with the ribbon doesn't look stupid.
It's not just that you can't do it. It's not
because I can't do it, which is also which is
also true.
Speaker 6 (02:00:12):
I can't do it.
Speaker 5 (02:00:13):
I've never tried it. Maybe i'd be great out.
Speaker 8 (02:00:15):
I have no idea rhythmic ballet.
Speaker 1 (02:00:17):
Rhythmic bal Yeah, that's.
Speaker 3 (02:00:20):
Always the go.
Speaker 5 (02:00:20):
Well, yeah, because it's hard. You can't do it, not necessarily.
Speaker 3 (02:00:24):
Somewhere deep inside a rhythmic ballet, somewhere.
Speaker 1 (02:00:27):
In there, somewhere in there.
Speaker 5 (02:00:33):
All right, well, uh, Gina, Yes, somebody in this room
has something they need to tell you.
Speaker 3 (02:00:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:00:45):
Uh, we've we've all been aware of Gina's ticks. Yeah,
there's a there's there's a number of officials. There's a
number of one. Is that noise whatever?
Speaker 8 (02:00:56):
The that one?
Speaker 3 (02:00:59):
Have you heard? I haven't heard that.
Speaker 8 (02:01:03):
It's just if I have like an itch in my
throat or like my ear canal, So she'll just.
Speaker 5 (02:01:06):
Be randomly sitting there on the computer, Like doesn't that
run in the family.
Speaker 8 (02:01:10):
Yes, they called a grad boy itch, But somehow I
got it.
Speaker 5 (02:01:14):
And it's surprising how many people say they do that.
Speaker 1 (02:01:16):
Yeah, first talked about that. Yeah, there's that every once
in a whilest, like doing like a motor boat, sounding.
Speaker 8 (02:01:24):
Like, yeah, it relaxes my money.
Speaker 5 (02:01:26):
Okay, there's that. There's the newer one where she's trying
to crack something her elbow.
Speaker 8 (02:01:32):
Oh, that's that's Greg's fault.
Speaker 1 (02:01:33):
But I never heard of it before that.
Speaker 8 (02:01:36):
I try to crack my elbow because I saw Greg
do it. No, I can't.
Speaker 6 (02:01:39):
She's ready to do that.
Speaker 5 (02:01:40):
It looks like she's yipping like like all they can yip,
almost like like when they test your reflexes when you
were a kid, and you know it's on the I do.
Speaker 3 (02:01:50):
It really slowly. I don't like shoot my arm out,
and I think my right one will go right now,
So I'm gonna try it. I do it real slow, like, oh, okay,
hopefully it'll work.
Speaker 5 (02:02:01):
Oh sounds like yeah, I love that, So sad Am,
I forgetting any of the other ones that we already
know about, I don't think. So there's another one any one. Yeah,
and I don't even know if I've noticed it.
Speaker 3 (02:02:18):
What we'll see who could possibly have an issue with it?
It's rude?
Speaker 1 (02:02:22):
Oh no, oh wait, oh wait?
Speaker 6 (02:02:25):
Oh great?
Speaker 1 (02:02:26):
Paints it pains?
Speaker 10 (02:02:28):
Please?
Speaker 6 (02:02:29):
You have this new.
Speaker 3 (02:02:34):
In studio habits?
Speaker 8 (02:02:35):
Is it vocal or active?
Speaker 3 (02:02:37):
Active? Yes? Yes, guess it is it.
Speaker 1 (02:02:40):
When she comes in the room, she slams everything everywhere.
Speaker 3 (02:02:43):
I do.
Speaker 8 (02:02:44):
No, are you sure that's me?
Speaker 1 (02:02:46):
Oh yeah, Like when you come in, you like drop
everything on the desk, like, super loud, like everything when
you walk in.
Speaker 8 (02:02:52):
I also have a guess.
Speaker 5 (02:03:00):
I need.
Speaker 11 (02:03:01):
My guess is recently what I've noticed with Gina, and
you didn't always used to do this.
Speaker 10 (02:03:05):
You take a very deep breath like every so often
you're just like.
Speaker 12 (02:03:11):
And I'm like, are you okidding?
Speaker 8 (02:03:13):
You know Andy says that too. My husband says I
do that, and I haven't noticed.
Speaker 11 (02:03:17):
Yeah, you take very loud, deep breaths like you're signing
like there's something wrong.
Speaker 8 (02:03:22):
You're oh my god.
Speaker 1 (02:03:27):
And I'm not saying you're this, but every unhanged person
that I've ever met does the slamming thing.
Speaker 8 (02:03:32):
I mean, you have called me a psychopath and I'm
schizophrenic and I've multiple personality.
Speaker 5 (02:03:38):
They're ticks, but you have a number of them. I know,
I've not noticed the slamming stuff. I've not noticed the
breath thing.
Speaker 6 (02:03:48):
Not here, it's right when she gets here, you're not.
Speaker 8 (02:03:50):
I mean, I just well, I put my backpack on
the chair, just like. But I, oh, come, that must
be really loud.
Speaker 3 (02:03:59):
It's really exactly. But the one that I noticed, I'm
ready the new one.
Speaker 8 (02:04:03):
Tell me.
Speaker 3 (02:04:04):
You take the thing that you're so proud of your
nails and you on your computer keyboard.
Speaker 8 (02:04:12):
Wait, am I typing?
Speaker 3 (02:04:14):
You're doing it to the beat of a song or
during a commercial, breath or wherever.
Speaker 8 (02:04:18):
No, it's true.
Speaker 5 (02:04:20):
Is that like pen clicking but with nails.
Speaker 3 (02:04:22):
Yes, but you do it.
Speaker 14 (02:04:25):
I'm on the key and you just kind of yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's that's definitely new my daughter, and I think it's
because all the teenage girls are doing it.
Speaker 5 (02:04:35):
Anything that she's holding or touching, oh becomes.
Speaker 8 (02:04:41):
It's like everybody checking my water bottle and they have to.
Speaker 6 (02:04:44):
That's at a little Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:04:47):
She was doing that.
Speaker 5 (02:04:48):
We're at the dinner table, all right, you can stop
that right now.
Speaker 8 (02:04:50):
Yeah, that's like first Yeah, that's totally for social med
so yeah, I'm just I'm just doing.
Speaker 1 (02:04:54):
And everybody, I don't know, you're too far away.
Speaker 6 (02:04:57):
I don't hear it.
Speaker 8 (02:04:58):
Somebody else told me I've slightly, but I didn't find
it like I think over the top of me, or
my mom told me that was annoying.
Speaker 3 (02:05:05):
Are you the type of person who if you're the
passenger in a car and you're driving by something and
you want to tell the driver, Oh, look there's that
restaurant I told you about, do you point at it
or do you have to bam bam bam bam bam
bam bam on the window.
Speaker 8 (02:05:17):
Oh I don't know. I don't think I do that.
But but we were listening to music in the car
two days ago and I was doing it to the
beat with my aura ring and the kid told me
to stop it immediately. So yeah, yeah, the kid, the
the child who is constantly being.
Speaker 5 (02:05:34):
Yeah, there's playing like drums on the steering wheel and
I'm like, I'm h are here in the car and
you're jam and like you're kind of tapping along like
you know, with your free hand, But.
Speaker 1 (02:05:43):
Are these like.
Speaker 8 (02:05:45):
Are these I mean, obviously I'm doing it enough that
you have noticed that it's annoying.
Speaker 1 (02:05:49):
It's just that I noticed it that it's notices a
lot of things.
Speaker 8 (02:05:53):
Sitting right next to me, and I do do that.
I definitely, I'm really sorry. No, no, no, it's just
an obser Is it an observation or is it one
of those things that's like nails on chalkboards here? But
you're a fidgetter right, yes, obviously big time. And we
didn't have the same fidgets growing up.
Speaker 5 (02:06:09):
Like, oh, I found this random paper clip sitting on
the desk, and so it's in my hand all day
long and I'm just like messing.
Speaker 8 (02:06:17):
With it exactly.
Speaker 5 (02:06:19):
And I noticed that, like, and I see these Instagram
videos that we post and I'll be sitting there. Could
be a highlighter, could be the marker that I'm holding
because I just wrote something. But now I'm like, as
I'm having the conversation, it's just.
Speaker 8 (02:06:30):
Always twiddling it.
Speaker 6 (02:06:32):
See.
Speaker 8 (02:06:32):
And my thing was I would my nails to the stubs.
That's why I think my nail should be a copay,
like medically, because I need my nails covered by something.
Speaker 3 (02:06:41):
I'm just a magnet for it. Because I'll be at
a restaurant and the guys taking this chopstick and just
on his plate and just.
Speaker 1 (02:06:48):
It's pretty much like, you know, you're only amusing yourself here.
Speaker 3 (02:06:53):
Noises.
Speaker 8 (02:06:54):
Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (02:06:55):
Okay, okay, a list now you're getting the breath thing?
Speaker 12 (02:07:00):
Yeah, I might die.
Speaker 5 (02:07:04):
Man, Where did I see it?
Speaker 1 (02:07:05):
Recently?
Speaker 5 (02:07:06):
I saw something about things like that, that people will
do that to bring attention to themselves. I don't like
in word, it's like like they'll do something audible or
whatever so that people then they turn to look at
it and it brings even if it could be they say,
like a subconscious thing.
Speaker 8 (02:07:23):
But isn't that more like like trying to get someone
to ask you what's wrong? Like there's nothing wrong with me,
Like I'm not like.
Speaker 5 (02:07:30):
No, it's just like in other words, there's not enough
focus or attention that you feel is coming your way.
Now I'm saying that out for you. This is what
this is the thing I was reading about that people
that make noise like that are the one that menace hates,
like after somebody drinks and they go, oh, I hate that.
Speaker 8 (02:07:46):
See for me, That's why I'm also curious about the orring,
because I do stop breathing when I'm concentrating on something,
which is.
Speaker 11 (02:07:54):
Exactly what I think is happening, because she's always doing it.
When she's in here working in the morning and no
one really talking, you can really.
Speaker 10 (02:08:00):
Hear her do the big exhale. But I think it's
because she's holding her breath at the time, and that
still concerns me.
Speaker 8 (02:08:07):
I do that a lot.
Speaker 5 (02:08:08):
I don't know how you guys do it. Man, Like
I'll come in the studio before the show starts and
it's dead silence is weird. It's like, because it's in
a studio where there's like soundproofing stuff on the walls
or whatever, it really kind of deadens the room, and
so any noise whatsoever like that would that would drop me.
Speaker 8 (02:08:23):
And like Greg's like like if you have like a
little like coffee stomach gurgle, like you get really embarrassed.
But it's just it's just because there's no noise there.
Speaker 3 (02:08:34):
The one thing you do that doesn't consider the breath
thing doesn't concern me. I haven't noticed it. But you
do something that I think it's the equivalent of a hiccup,
but you go.
Speaker 8 (02:08:40):
Like, oh, that's yeah, that's biological. You got a million times.
I can't burp. I don't know how you burp, so
I my body just says these one long that's like
and then I just move on.
Speaker 1 (02:08:55):
I don't that's it.
Speaker 8 (02:08:56):
That's like a bur I'm trying to do that.
Speaker 5 (02:08:58):
You drink die cocal a lot, but when you take
a sip of diet cokeer, you take a gulp of
die coke, there's no like bubble that comes out like
a like a belch, no like a carbonated beverage belch.
Speaker 1 (02:09:07):
Everybody gets that.
Speaker 8 (02:09:08):
Everyone tries to explain how to burp, and I'm not
getting like I'll get like a stomach like blown.
Speaker 5 (02:09:14):
You don't need to explain how to fart exactly. It's
just it just happens.
Speaker 8 (02:09:18):
Yeah, I don't know, but I do that. But I
do my own little burp. It just sounds like I'm
doing sounds like a.
Speaker 3 (02:09:24):
Disconcerted that's it.
Speaker 5 (02:09:28):
Text us over to two two nine eight seven. You
can tell us what else is annoying that Gina does.
I'm not apparently this is just a it wasn't intended
to be.
Speaker 12 (02:09:36):
That's no.
Speaker 5 (02:09:39):

to get attacked by a crab. Oh wow.
Speaker 1 (02:10:31):
Yeah, we were kids.
Speaker 5 (02:10:32):
You go down and you put the shell up and
you can hear the ocean. You're like, oh look, kid,
you can't hear it. Kids are so stupid. We were
so dumb, and that just carries on. It's just part
of being a kid.
Speaker 1 (02:10:44):
You're dumb.
Speaker 3 (02:10:45):
You're just older and dumb.
Speaker 1 (02:10:46):
