Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jif J mask.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
All right, So Kevin Smith is here celebrating his fifty
sixth the birthday at the Starlight Cabaret in Studio City
this Sunday, eight pm. It's out of comedy, there's music.
This podcast dot com is the website or the Starlight
Cabaret dot com?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah you met and it's bobble Head Night at the
Starlight Cabaret, right, get No, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
But I had to ask.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Is there, like is every night at a sporting event
a Bobblehead night?
Speaker 4 (00:36):
Like?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Is there every night with like we're not giving away
anything that see the game?
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Yeah, I would say like seventy five percent of the
Dodgers Knights are some sort of giveaway.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Very insensive oriented. Yeah, Like you.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Know clear pastic bag night.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
That's a big thing, right that packs? Yeah, what is
clear plastic? So you have to.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
You have to have a your bag if you can't
bring it.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
You can't bring a bag that you can't see into
into a venue a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Now like classic bag are they giving away? But that's
the one day, Like you can bring a non clear pass.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
That's how we're celebrating.
Speaker 5 (01:14):
They'll give you one with like a logo on.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yeah, So that way the next time you come to
the game, you can use that bag with your team's
logo on it and bring all your crap.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
I mean, they're feeding many birds with one seed.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
They are sounds like they got the they got they
know how to squeeze a nickel out of that sports game.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
They sure that now.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I mean, you know, hey, what what do adults love
more than anything these days?
Speaker 5 (01:37):
Toys?
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Toys, and you're just a comic con. Let me ask
you this. I saw on your social medium because you
hosted the panel or whatever, and so was this your
first time ever meeting Rick Moranis it was as cool.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
As he seems, super sweet.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I was hoping, like he's going to be better than
all of us.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
You don't want to meet you don't want to meet
your heroes, or you don't want to meet somebody you
already have a really positive, you know, vibe on because.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But also I was in an environment where like you'd
have to be a real ah to be like, hey man,
go to hell.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
You know what I'm saying. They're selling a movie at
comic con and stuff like that.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
So not notoriously one of the nicest guys.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Has been I mean, like, this is a guy who
I didn't think i'd ever meet because he's been retired
for a red hot minute, Like he stepped away from
the business to go live a real life and raise
his kids and stuff. But he fueled my childhood and
built the tracks upon which I later ran my trains
in terms of comedy and stuff like that. So I'm
(02:41):
a I was a massive Bob and Doug McKenzie fan,
so I never would have gotten to Jane and sold
Bob without Bob and Doug.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
So meeting him was a cool thing.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
And they had me to host the Spaceball's panel, and
Rick is in the movie and Spaceball's the new one.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
It's called did you see the movie? No, it's not
done yet. It showed us a clip.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Though, yeah, you were hosting it. If they kind of
showed you some stuff, I'm not even done beforehand.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I believe me, they're not. They're so not done that
I was like, maybe they'll put me in it.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
I was pretty good on the panel, but it's it
looks funny exactly.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
The clip they ran was really great. But he came
out of retirement.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
This is a dude who hasn't been doing it for
a long long time and he had a very funny
line up there.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
He's like everybody thought I was retired. I was just negotiating,
but meeting him was dope.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
I would like.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
We sat down and did the kind of this is
how the panel's going to lay out, this is where
everybody sits as who you call out and stuff like that,
and then I went and smoked a joint and then
I came back in and that made me chilling enough
to kind of go up to Rick and I.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Was like, hey, man, can I take a picture with you?
Speaker 3 (03:43):
And he was like, oh god, yeah, and he stood
up and he took a picture, and I was glad
I took the picture first because I wasn't sure if
I would cry, you know what I'm saying. If I
started like talking to him and started weeping, then I'd
never get the picture. But like, this was a huge thing,
like this guy, like I remember my fandom for Bob
and Doug mackenzie, and I modeled Jay and Bob on
(04:06):
that on you know, that similar aesthetic sensibility, you know, cheech.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
A genre in there.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Of course, I having Costilla, but it has a lot
to do with Bob and Doug so meeting him was
a cool thing. So after we took the picture, I
told him, I was like, hey, man, so i play
a character called Silent Bob and I've been standing next
to a guy called Jay in movies for the last
thirty years. And that only happened because, like, I was
a massive fan of Strange Crew, and he goes, oh,
(04:34):
Bob and Doug aye, yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I even asked for it, give me a marry.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
So he was wonderfully, absolutely delivered, and on stage he
was great. The moment highlight of Comic Con for me,
And mind you, I had my own hall Ah panel
and stuff with like five thousand people there and stuff,
and I had comedy shows that were sold out all weekend.
But my highlight was when he came into hall H.
Like we brought up the cast and the crew of
(05:01):
Spaceballs and then you know, I was like, and Rick
moranis and then he didn't come out, and Everybody's like,
where's Rick, And so we like combed the audience and
cut to the audience and there's Spaceballs, the big combs
and things, and then they had three dark helmets and
one was a kid, one was another dude, and the
third one was him and once he lifted the mask,
(05:23):
they had him on camera on the big screen, like
the place went nuts. Yeah, once he came on stage,
the place gave him a standing ovation. And he hadn't
been to comic Con ever. And this is a guy
who's in the DNA of comic Con, like Lewis Tully
from Ghostbuster. Yeah, the seymour Or crawlborne from from Little
(05:45):
Shop of Horrors, the Worst Father who ever.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Lived in Honey, I shrunk the kid, right, you know, like.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
He's he's been in the geek culture for a long
time and even though he hasn't been working for decades now,
those movies have still been enjoyed by generation. So he
hit that stage, man, and it was a thunderous wave
of affection. Sixty five hundred is what that play seats,
and I believe they were at max capacity. It was
Friday panel. It was pretty impressive. Usually the Saturdays are
(06:14):
max capacity, Like the Marvel panel. They had to turn
people away and people who had wristbands didn't even get in,
so so many people wanted to be there. I had
to follow the Marvel panel, which is like following John Holmes.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
You know you can hear a hot dog in the
hallway after that for having sake.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
But there they were on Friday, like packed and sixty
five hundred people standing up and applauding and focusing all
of their affection at this one person on stage. It
was just a beautiful moment. And it's not like the
dude had never been on in front of an audience before.
He comes from Second City, so he's used to be
in front of people, And it's not like the dude
(06:50):
couldn't conceive of Amazon saying they're gonna be sixty five
hundred people in that room. I don't think he was
prepared for everybody to be like, we've missed you, man,
and just give him that moment.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
It was beautiful, Like that's really I'm glad to hear
he's a really cool guy. I'm such a guy man,
because you want to hear that, right, you want to
hear that Rick moranis is a cool dude.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Very he turns out to be very cool dude, very sweet,
and very like he was. He wasn't expecting it, But
I remember talking to the Amazon people, like a week
before going, we better build some time in the schedule
because everything is like, you know, timed within forty five
minutes and fifteen minutes for audience que and I was like,
when he comes on stage, though, these people aren't seen
this guy in a dog's age, like they are going
(07:32):
to be all over them and stuff. And they were like, yeah, yeah,
you're right, and it did. It went beyond what I imagine.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
So besides that, like do you walk the floor at all?
You get to see anything to.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
The floor twice this year because I went to a
activation for Funko. They did this pop Mystery thing and
that that was on Wednesday preview night, which was packed,
like already, it's just Wednesday. Preview night looked like Saturday.
Then I went to the floor, was a Saturday afternoon
into the Marvel booth and and I got the comic
(08:03):
that came out, Jay's a Future Past. So they have
a bunch of cos players at the booth, so they
tried to reenact the cover of the comic with me
and the cosplayers and stuff.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
So that was kind of sweet.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
So I saw the floor then as well, and the
only way I could get on the floor and this
ain't bragging and this isn't even choice.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
They won't let me attempt the floor without six, which is.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
Like, honestly, that makes sense, but it's more showy than
anything else. And it's like I get a few minutes
because people are like, oh, he's pretty good Kevin Smith
cos player.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, because I'm wearing the whole outfit and they're like, wait,
that is him. And by the time, and I moved
pretty fast for a dude who's thick with two seas.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
So at the end of the day, I can move
around faster without security than with security and get things
done quicker, I feel.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
And then you hear people I'm sure be like, oh
he's such a doude, she.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Needs security, Like that was my idea, but I hate
the idea because they'll go excuse me, and they pushed
people aside and it's like unnecessary.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
So as a fan, yeah, because you like all this stuff,
like comic Con is your you know, Christmas kind of thing.
So of all this stuff, like, did anything besides like
Spaceballs and meeting Rick moranis like, what was the hands
down the thing they got you geeked.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
The thing that I went for aside from like, you know,
work on stuff for me and my own stuff was
the Marvel panel, like and so their panel like they
they weren't at hall H last year, they were the
year before. That's when they announced Robert Dannel Junr as Doom.
So they dropped that trailer last week on Monday, the
Avengers Doomsday trailer, and all of us were like, well,
(09:37):
what are you going to do in hall Ah because
we assumed that's what they were going to show was that,
And instead they showed a brand new trailer which apparently
is going to be at the head of Spider Man
brand new day. So the trailer that they showed us
in hall H which is a very Doctor Doom centric trailer,
And to be honest with you, like the first trailer
was wonderful. I would have led with this trailer because
(09:57):
it makes him seem than I was bad for a
bunch of people who maybe aren't that familiar with Doctor Doom.
Although who alive in this culture hasn't encountered Doctor Doom
in some incarnation or another. This is the first time
he's going to be in the Marvel Cinematic universe. You said,
I'm a fan of these things. You could tell listen
to thee I speak more proudly of this than I
(10:18):
do with my own child and her back. So they
showed this Doom Doctor Doom trailer, which was absolutely phenomenal.
And seeing a trailer most of us interactive trailers on
our phones, on our laptops and stuff. Generally, we don't
even get to see a trailer in a room with
like two hundred and fifty people in a movie theater anymore.
We're watching it beforehand, you know, in our social media
(10:41):
or in our on our laptops. This was getting to
watch a trailer nobody's ever seen with sixty five hundred
like minded people who are all there going.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Like the room fun thing.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
Oh yeah, that's why you just feel the vibe in
the room.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
MO wonderful.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
So that panel like was great. They brought up all
the famous p and whatnot, and that was fine. I
always like seeing Robert Danny Junior like the waiter. Some
people come up to me in life like like your thing.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I would you say he's nerd Jesus?
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Now, yeah, I would say so, And I honestly feel
like he's he's acting Jesus as well, because I don't
think this doctor Doom thing is a payday, although I
hear he's getting paid eighty to.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
One hundred for two movies. Was he I think he's
doing it NERD wants to.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
In the NERD universe. Was he the biggest star for
that group that weekend?
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Yes, hands down. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
I would think I would.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
I would think that would be the case. The acting thing.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
I think he's doing this Doctor Doom thing because I
think he wants to try to win an Oscar from
behind a metal mask. I think he's won a Best
Supporting Oscar for Oppenheimer, and he was wonderful in the movie.
But I think this dude is like, look, he needs
no money anymore. He has already reached.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Exactly He's making that about a minute, but he's reached
a pinnacle. How do you go further?
Speaker 3 (11:58):
If I was that dude, and I was an actor
and I was into acting, I'd be like, let me
see if I can win an oscar from behind a
metal mask. But the only thing they could see me
of me is my eyes. That would be a huge challenge,
number one, to win an Oscar for playing like a
Doctor Doom.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Like, you know, it's not unheard of. The Joker has
won an Oscar twice now for people who played the Joker.
But I think the.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Challenge of doing it from behind something that shows no articulation.
So basically, his performance is gonna be all about emoting,
all about that voice and everything like that and the
way he carries his body, but he can't use all
the tricks of his face.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
And he's so damn charming. We love that. I think
that's part of the reason he took the job. I
don't know, the guy from Adam and Stuff.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
To do it for a challenge.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Yeah, the money dude's like, I'm still tired.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
Yeah, that'd be fun, that'd be cute.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, let's just say money, money cares.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
RDJ call in and let us know if that's accurate.
Eighty seven.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
A listener forty four would text us over to two
two nine eight seven. We're gonna take a quick break,
will come back. It is Shark week on Discovervali, which
means it's Nark week. It's cart Ark week here on
The Woody Show. So, uh, Kevin, you're gonna get to
be here as agent Sebastian tries to get people to
do the right thing when you go shopping, Yes, you
do your own shopping.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
I do. Yes. He's a man of the people consumer.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah, so like you return the cart to the corral
or to the front of the store, or do you
just leave it empty in a spot.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
I have to bring it back because I have to
take into consideration that while the whole world's not watching,
all I need is one person to be like silent
Bob doesn't return his car, so I behave.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Show.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Kevin Smith is here, I'm here for this, I'm near
for cart Nark. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
I love this concept.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Yeah, so I don't. I don't think we've had you
in for around a cart Nark's before.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
This is the whole concept is new to me.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
It's Nark Week because it's Shark Week on Discovery and
Cartnarks is such a popular segment with our show, we
decided if it's gonna be Shark Week on Discovery, it's
gonna be Nark Week here on The Woody Show, Sebastin
trying to get people do the right thing and return
those carts where they belong, which is to the card
corral or back to the front of the store, not
(14:09):
to be left an empty parking spot or walkways manby
cap spots.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
People love tossing them in there because there's so much
space there.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Yeah, and that's not where they go. They go back
to the car crals, but just rather than just doing
the simple thing and returning it, people will argue and
scream and yell and sometimes pull weapons, and they'll chase
you through a parking lot.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Are you serious people have pulled.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Black I've had no literally besides guns, knives, pepper spray fists.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Right off the top or once they find out your thesis.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
No, it's not just you said a word to me.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
If you're coming up to.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Me in a parking lot, maybe I am pulling a knife.
But if it's a whole different thing. If they're like, wait,
there's always are you busting me for not putting the cart?
Speaker 5 (14:50):
It's super super clear, like I never like, oh crap,
he's carjacking me that sort of thing. He's always friendly,
he's not swearing, he's not That is still the weapon.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Bones.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
Yes, and in this case we're gonna have this edition
features fun with accents. This is a Saugust Massachusetts and uh,
for folks who don't know, we have different agents that
patrol different areas geographically. And uh, there's this guy, Greg
Gory of the Cape Cod Gory. He's a very fancy
gentleman's a proper man, a fancy accent coming out of
(15:25):
Greg Gory and he approaches this lady and she just
dumped her cart in the middle of the walkway because
it's right there, and who wants to walk? Now there's
a little bit of wrinkle here, Kevin. Is she she
does have a disability placard on her her car, and
so that's always that's always a factor. Now not fourth.
My mom has one of those, and she still returns
to her cars. There's different levels of disabilities, of course.
(15:46):
But we with the cart narks, what we always do
is when they roll their window dead to.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Talk to us.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
The dead giveaway is their attitude. Are they, oh, I'm sorry,
would you mind getting that for me? Are the accusatory?
And let's see what this lady has to do when
Greg approach her about her cart in the walkway?
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Oop Steve way, whoop woo woop.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
Ma'm well, you actually a better to do. That's like
your car back, young lady.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Get your handicapped and have problem walking?
Speaker 5 (16:10):
Yes, you need to find him any time to see man,
your anger leads me to believe that you could shake
your card back. What's up there? Like Mark I'm gonna
assume you.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
The first words were don't you have anything better to do?
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Sounds like right, exactly right, essential casting, Yeah, Lois Griffin. Now,
so mister Greg Gory, their agent, Greg Gorey. He has
these little magnets to encourage people to do the right thing.
They're a little scarlet letters. They say, I don't return
my shopping cart like a jerk. For instance, that's what
you put on the car, well yeah, or or lazy
bones on board, you know, the baby on he's gonna
(16:46):
it is a thousand different versions of these. So that's
the thing that kind of for you could have that
magnet on your car, drive away and be beyond with
your day and say well that was odd weird anyway.
Or if you, if your ego is such and you
don't want to lose the arguments, you will keep on
going about, perhaps suing our good agent, Greg Gory.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
What would you assume me for you, young lady, what damage
does that do?
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Doesn't matter? It's my rocket, doesn't touch it does matter,
It doesn't matter in shots, doesn't because in a lawsuit
you wait for me, I will teach you.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
It's my property. It's my property.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
So her disability would keep her from returning the car,
but not from trying to kick someone's ass.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Right at this point, she's out of her suv and
walking around. It's funny sometimes they'll forget they're supposed to
be and they're.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
Like, oh so again, So Greg again, he's there saying, well,
you can't just people love throwing that out because the
one thing about with Carton Arcs is we've learned the negotiation.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
You know this as an actor, Kevin. Tactics. You have
different tactics, different things, different ways you're trying to get words. Tactics, yes,
different negotiations. Fear pity is crying run the spectrum right,
So in this case, the fear of a lawsuit. Now
Greg has been through this before. He knows the lawsuits
are ridiculous. And again he's just trying to explain to
(18:10):
her that magnet on your car is not a lawsuit.
What would you assume me for you, young lad? And
what damage does that do? Doesn't matter? It's mike rocket
doesn't touch my pushes.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
It does matter.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
It does matter your shots does a lawsuit? Wait for
your eye will teach you. That was the hitting there,
And then baby cried right, so then she then takes
that magnet and she says, well, guess what you've You've
taken me to the next level here, I'm going to
take your maget and throw it on the ground. You're
making litter.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Made me do this.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
We know that Greg does not like litter.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
No, no, absolutely not acceptable right here. So actually I've
got a maggot that says I'm a little bug on.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
It right here.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
That's see, if you were truly, if you were truly injured,
you would have said, oh, I'm sorry, I can't take
it back.
Speaker 5 (18:54):
You were we cat? No, all I did was I
kind of waved. I said, oh, hey, you weren't being cat.
So so you were being attitude. You were attitude. Because
that's that's the thing with these agents is we'll often
say like yeah, halfway through them screaming whatever, like you
could have just asked us or just at any point
in the but no. Then then they rewrite history like, no,
(19:17):
you had a crappy attitude. Well we heard the attitude.
At first. It was just like, yeah, fantastic exactly.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, attitude was all about her property.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
Yeah, suit, Now another move that's in our agent's vast
arsenal besides the variety of magnets they use. Is they
love to because they know they're milking somebody's ego at
this point. So they'll go to the car side of
the car the cat that they can that the person
can't see, grab the magnet, blow it, blow their eye level,
and then not even place it on, just to see
if they'll stomp on it. I'm not touching you. I'm
(19:49):
not touching yeah, exactly, Like, do you really care about
the magnet or do you know not? So Greg uses
that on this lady cat by being polite. Here's a
little bug magnet.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Am What are you gonna tell him?
Speaker 3 (20:04):
Man?
Speaker 5 (20:04):
Remember earlier you said you couldn't walk over to the
carver turd.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
Well you've already walked farther than that several times now,
so I think you were lying.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
No, not lying.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
She fell for the failure on her tears.
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Man, that's against the law.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Also, I'm gonna kill you.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
I'm gonna kick your ass to.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
We started with suing, then we went to I'm gonna kick.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
Your ass and I pointed this out. I know what
he doesn't like this, but that's a that's a felony
assault right there. When you when you get when you
tell somebody in a way that they're intended to believe
that you are going to cause great harm, in this
case their death. That is a felony assault. But people
just don't care because they don't want to be told.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
What is the like, clearly he's been through it. What
there's no rule against putting a magna on car?
Speaker 5 (20:51):
Okay, so think about think about this. Yeah, so think
about the pop potential charges kevin vandalism, vandalism. You still
gotta have a damage there, like no damage like with
the spray paints someone's car. Yeah, that takes time.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Even putting a bumper sticker on, It's like that's going
to take time to the magnet comes right again.
Speaker 5 (21:07):
The cart narks there so far ahead of these on
it where we have advantages because I've done this a
thousand times. People have never been called in their crap
a thousand times. But yeah, so there may be in
some jurisdictions you could get a ticket for like leaving
a flyer like like that, that sort of thing. But
the only write tickets for that when you do a
thousand of them in the entire parking lot, and you
know you're creating litter if it's a one on one
(21:29):
where you're just again with a specific purpose of not
in this case, not blocking the walkway, there is no
there's no never been charged, never even been brought into court,
and ane of that stuff.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Although there was that one woman who was threatening because
it was false imprisonmen because you.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
Had the cart.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
You had the cart behind her car. So the cart
that she left out in the open space you just
placed behind her car. And she contacted her lawyer and
they're like, well, technically, I guess it could be false imprisonment. Yeah,
if you would just put the cart back in the crowd,
you would no longer be in prison.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
Yourself on your own pitar. That was the idea, That
was the psychology behind that. Well, you're your car could
be in other people's ways, so let's see how you feel.
But and I my lawyer said to look, don't even
don't give any da an opportunity to do anything, you know,
even though this thing is on wheels and you could
and you have moved it, so we we don't do that.
(22:22):
That she is she is a great a masshole, that
is yeah, straight up. So now at this point she
is this happens all the time as well, where they won't.
They don't want to lose the argument, so they'll they'll
pull out of their spot, end up blocking traffic, which
I don't want of course, and Agent Greg Goory in
this case isn't want. We'll kind of d escalate, but
then they'll blame me for blocking traffic, when again they
(22:43):
could have driven away at any time. But again they
don't want to lose the argument. You fell for the
fake out.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
Man.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
There's nothing on there. Man, I'm pretty nice to you,
and you're just you're threatening to hurt me. I'm trying
to be pleasant and polite.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
I was gonna put that right there, ma'am. I'm trying.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
I'm trying to make a simple point. You're blocking. You
could leave it at anytime if you wanted to. You
could leave any time you want to. You could have
left five minutes ago, ma'am, but your ego won't let
you because you want.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
To be right too late already did. And it's the
other thing, and you know this from video game culture, Kevin.
The they a lot of the comments I see is
these people get stuck in NPC loops, which is a
non playable character, like they don't have. They have five
or six lines and like, don't touch my cap, don't
touch this, and it's just like they they don't want
(23:42):
to have a conversation or they're their understanding of the
is so surface level. They just deep back and forth.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
What I like about it is, you know what, we
love comic books and comic book movies because we're like, oh, man,
a vigilante, you'll make things right.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
This is the real Batman. You know what I'm saying,
the Batman of civility. I'm telling you a good car.
It's the cart Night, the cart Night returns.
Speaker 5 (24:11):
I'm not I'm not going to say this, but you
walk around. You walk around the floor there at comic Con,
as I did this year, and you see that these
little booths like, well, man, I could probably get some
comic book, yes, and some some plastic you know, Funko
style to Yes, I could autograph.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
Yes, there's a merchandising opportunity here. But don't get.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Lost in the money, because it's the justice that we're seeking.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Like Batman's never like, you know, I could sell these shots.
There's a millionaire first, good boy. You know you got
to catch up. You know what, You're right, You get
to sell.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
So, yeah, you're right. You know some comic book people
there are. I mean, there is a comic book here, well.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Comic book.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
But but I'm saying, like, never mind, I agree with
you one hundred percent, but I'm being serious. This is
the real Batman, Like, never mind punching muggers and stuff like,
nobody gets mugged anymore.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
This is the true injustice in society.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Yeah, it's it's and the cart and Arks are out there,
they're doing their thing, Batman.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Did you see the story about what was going on
in Mexico? There was like a Batman kind of guy going.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
Around here called the Mexican Batman.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, and he was there, he from with the name,
and he was taping them to light poles looking up.
Speaker 5 (25:25):
The pictures are funny. I think these guys who were
like steal were they stealing like bicycle stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Yeah, And I'm not saying cart and Arks should be
taping anybody to anything, but is even better man.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
And we do have some I've done some you know,
remember the g I Jo p s at the at
the eighties. The more so we have produced some concepts
that's like what I'll do, I'll take you know somebody,
for instance, off the R Kevin said, well, what did
they say they pay employees to do this? And I say, well, yeah,
they pay employees to clean your hotel room. That doesn't
mean you crap in the sink. You know, there's there's
(25:57):
systems in place a Marriott courtyard. So I've produced several
p s A style things where people come to me, well,
it's they pay people on the The cartnark responds with
these sort of things and a very g I Joe
animated Yeah, so you know the concepts already there. I
just really need somebody to you know, Netflix, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Why Honestly, like I spend so much time watching police
body cam video, this.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Is even better.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
And that's yeah, that's the video. They're all they're all
my po v, et cetera. So it's really you're in
it video game style again.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
You'll love that. It should be the newest follower of
Cartnarks on Instagram and the cart Narks I'm there. Yeah,
there's a ton of videos up there, man, I mean,
I don't know how many you have at this point
on thousands and thousands.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Yeah, there's the Netflix man, and be like, this is
the future from your word, listen to the people that
the future.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Ye, well, it's a shark week on Discovery. It is
nark week here on the show a glory.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Doing the Lord's word.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
Try to get people do right there?
Speaker 1 (27:00):
And they returned those cars.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
You weren't being kicked by being polite. I here's you
a little bug magnetmam. Problem what do you get to
tell them?
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Ma'am?
Speaker 5 (27:10):
Remember earlier you said you couldn't walk over to the
car return.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
Well you've already walked farther than that several times now,
so I think you were lying.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
No, but not lying.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
She fell for the figure in her tears.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
Yeah, man, that's against the law.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Also, no way show
