Speaker 1 (00:01):
We've been saying this rules the boy doesn't want to
have sex.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Yeah, yeah, you.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Gotta put your mouth on non.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Okay, that is quite impressive. It's quite quite quite impressive.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Oh, that's lovely. We've been saying the show. We got
a lot of Stranger Things fans in the audience. And dude,
it's been ten years since Stranger Things first premiered on Netflix.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Yeah, they were like babies the adults.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
And if we're using our rules of throwback ten years
or older, yeah, right, And they've got a reissue of
that first season on a VHS special edition.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Owe.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, so it's not literally on VHS, because who the
hell has a VCR anymore, But it's streaming on Netflix.
And they say it's got like a video store vibe.
It's glitchy, it's grainy, it's just they say, gloriously vintage,
just like you would have rented it. In nineteen eighty three,
the entire cast came back for a special video. You know, Millie,
Bobby Brown and Finn Wolf and a writer. Everybody's back.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
You can still get a VHS player.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
I'm sure you're not going to get the VHS player
just to that could be a collectible thing. I think
it'd be cool if they did have it on VHS.
Not that you'd never watch it, but.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
You just have it.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Yeah. I got Menji a DVD player because I brought
back some DVDs from Europe. Oh that's right, And so
he's like, I don't have a DVD you know. It's like, well,
it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
It's not even about a DVD player because you bought
these DVDs overseas. They're they're done by regions where even
if you put it in a DVD player here work,
it wouldn't work. Yeah, because it's it's I don't stupid Greg,
even I can't explain it exactly how that works.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Makes me feel good.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah, I mean back in the day, they used to
have a thing because in uh, I don't know if
it's like this now, but when I worked in television,
you would they would have overseas it would be called POWELL.
That would be the format of video that they would
shoot in America be nt SC so anyways, yeah, video formats.
(02:07):
But yeah, it was like an all region DVD player
and it was like thirty bucks.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, all regions.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
I didn't region.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
I didn't realize that was a thing.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
You just have to defrag the main frame.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Something something like that. But also for Greg, Liam Neeson
has a new movie. It's called Mongoose, and guess what
what He plays a guy with a particular set of
skills way does always. He's an Afghan war hero wrongfully
accused of murder who goes on the run to prove
his innocence. It's being described as quote first Blood meets
(02:39):
Smoky in the band, it meets fast and furious. Yeah,
it'll be in theaters. Men's birthday month, October thirtieth is
the day it will be in theaters. Greg loves him
some leam.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
He's the best man.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
I wish it was like a BMX writing movie because
Mongoose DMX.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, d old ass man on a mongoo. Remember Mongoose
is right like the Remember the pegs? Ye got it? Yeah,
that was the only time it was cool to peg
with your buddy.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
Yeah, and then you bought the pad for the handlebars
and the pad for the neck to ride and peg
your buddy.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
That diamondbags the GTS man.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
And if we could highlight Liam Neeson's range, did you
watch the Gun? Yes, he's got a great range. Have
you seen the naked gun.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Oh my god, it isn't.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
The reason why it's so funny is because he's being
Liam Nees. That's not range.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Seriously, you can deliver comedic lines with that Liam Neeson
delivery and it hits.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
It's good. It's really good. And how Pam Anderson's really
good in it.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
There's certain certain people that are just always this version
of the same character, like Christopher Walking or something like that.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
It does work.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
It's really who's the guy that got busted with U?
Divine Brown? What's that guy's name?
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Hugh Grant?
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Every movie was in it the same dude.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
And that's the dude people wanted to see apparently.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Uh, the guy on Social Network? What's his name? Jesse Eisenberg?
Same same character every single time? Yeah, who's the kid
in Arrested Development? I know who they are?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Sarah Michael Sarah.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Michael, Sarah. Another guy is the same character every single time?
Speaker 3 (04:27):
What about your and my favorite human being? Pretty much ever?
Michael J. Fox always like the lovable like upbeat and everything.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, I know from I never watched Spin City, I
didn't watch that Back to the Future and Family Ties
is all I really know from. So yeah, I mean Hollywood,
but Marty McFly was way cooler teen wolf same guy.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Than Alex P.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Keaton because Alex P. Keaton was just like a dork.
He was like a like like like a like a
like a like a child adult totally. You know, he
was a fifty year old man trapped in a teenager's body.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
But it's not like he had like totally wildly different mannerisms.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
It was Michael J.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Fox. It's the same. It's the same exact character as
Hugh Grant, the awkward guy who's way out of his league. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
whatever the hell. It is also for Greg. Since we're
(05:29):
on the subject of all things Greg, there's a new
HGTV show coming out.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Oh my god, I don't know what I'm ripping harder about.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
It's called There's a couple different elements to it. I'm
not sure how you'll like the the main show itself,
other than it's a show on HGTV, which you know
you and I both love. It's called Totally Nineties House,
and so it's two teams of nineties TV stars and
they're competing. They're renovating homes that are stuck in the nineties.
So think about like you know, like mirrored closets and
(05:58):
a sponge painted walls, those honey oak cabinets and things
like that, round corners. There was another thing that was big,
like late eighties maybe early nineties, like in the kitchen
the lighting fixture was almost like a wood box that
had like that real thin plastic. Yes, it was like
a drop down like you'd have like it for like
a drop ceiling, but it was like that translucent plastic.
(06:20):
And people had that, Yeah, that they had that in
their kitchens.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Yeah, the flies got caught up in there.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, it got caught in there. But it really shrunk everything.
It makes everything feel so much smaller.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Oh, Julia White is on it.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Oh everybody, yeah, Oh my god, your full house girl.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
So it's it hosted hosted by Arkle Okay, Julia White
and Brian Austin Green, Jodie Sweden, Melissa Joanhart, Keisha Knight, Polham,
Rudy Huckstab Oh yeah, they have Joey and Matthew Lawrence.
The winning team gets twenty five thousand dollars for charity
of their choosing. It's gonna premiere on Wednesday, August twenty sixth. Again,
(06:56):
it's called totally nineties house. Now here's the part that
I know Gregg will love.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I love it all so far.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
HGT is also they're rolling out another series on YouTube
and it's called House Call Nineties Edition, where you go
and you see the insides of the homes of these
nineties celebrities. Way but Greg loved. Greg looks people's addresses totally.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
I can tell you where Dave Gone lives. Just this
morning I found out where Kristen Wigg lives because she's selling.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Her house track down the address I wasn't when we
had be Real from cypricill is in here and during
a commercial break, Greg goes, can I ask you a question?
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Is this really your house?
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Is this really your house? He was on some website
and b Ro's like, uh, it was it was, Yet Greg's.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
You know what, I agree?
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Is this your house? This is how much you paid
for it?
Speaker 2 (07:52):
I agree, But I also don't care.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Do you want me to come over?
Speaker 5 (07:55):
And I've done that to Kevin Smith too. I'm like, hey, yeah,
I love that second floor balcony you have with rod Iron.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
What is there table?
Speaker 5 (08:04):
Your address is such and such? Right, yeah, And it's
kind of weird that you do that I'm it is
a stranger.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
But I'm surprised you do you tell them?
Speaker 5 (08:12):
Yeah, and I probably shouldn't have. It's creepy and weird,
but it is stocker vier imagine. But I wanted confirmation
that my quote sources are correct. I'm getting it from
be real kind of reinforced that I'm not wasting my time,
that this is legit.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
See, I would, I would do that with Okay, Kevin
Smith is one one thing, you know, or Joe Coy,
like these guys who who are in here all the time,
you know, like because they know you and they know
that you're not really stalking them. But think about somebody
that you've only met a few times or maybe twice,
or the first time you meet them and they came
(08:48):
up and you go, so great, I love x y
Z about your house? It would you would? You would
freak out.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
The more we talk about it, the more I feel
like a total weirdo.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Do you like houses too?
Speaker 6 (09:00):
Are you one of those guys that makes sense?
Speaker 2 (09:03):
I mean obsessed?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
I follows see them when we took them to the
Brady Bunch House.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
Oh, I almost basically had a heart attack. Yeah, just
totally obsessed. I look for all that stuff. I will
pause movies and TV shows during while I'm watching them
to google the address, and then I do street view.
I'm like, and then I compare it. Oh there's that lamp,
there's that tree.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
So this is called house called Nineties Edition. HGTV is
going to have it on YouTube and you can see
inside the homes of ninety celebrities.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Speaking cannice camera. Samy is going to be on Special Forces.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Okay, what's what's special Forces? Like?
Speaker 3 (09:44):
It's like a yeah, it's like camp reality show.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Yeah, where celebrities like do like Cherry Style.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Why would you sign up for that?
Speaker 4 (09:51):
I don't du not the name of the mascot per Se, Yeah,
per Se, that's fancy Da.
Speaker 7 (10:00):
It's always you know, it's a real fun place to be.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Is Washington, d C. Always, Like I mean, when you
don't live in Washington, d C. It feels like that's
all you ever hear about. But can you imagine living
in Washington, like just in the in the area, because
like everything is just so saturated, like it's all about
the politics, and I don't think you can escape it, really,
(10:39):
I don't know. I mean, Vaughn, He's from there.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
He's from d C.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
So I don't know if they just confined to you
around the White House or no.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
I have friends that live there, and I'm saying I mean, I.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Mean, a kid's not gonna notice in Los Angeles. I mean,
you don't have to engage in it, but it's it's
hard to, uh, you know, get much separation from somebody
who in quote the industry meaning Hollywood working and doing
things for you know, that type of industry.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
You know, I'm sure in you know, different places for
whatever that might be, it's hard to get away from
whatever it is they get for.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
I mean, I did say it is pretty hood outside
of the area of.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
The White House.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yeah, like New Orleans, everybody always thinks of, you know,
Marty Grass and that whole like part of the urban stry. Yeah,
Bourbon Street. It's like you just you're painted with a brush,
and you know, it's kind of hard to get out
of it. But dude, I mean, you know, all the
fun conversations that just happened all the time, whether it's
you know the.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Uh yeah, I've never been I've always wondered if it's.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Like that, the heavy stuff, the dumb stuff, like I
don't know if you saw, like the the Treasury Secretary
released a rendering of a new one dollar coin. He said,
the US mints making these one dollar coins to commemorate
the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the signing of
the Declaration of Independence. The coins are gonna have a
gold like finish, so not real gold. But it'll be
available in the fall. And I guess who's gonna be
(11:58):
on it.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
I'll never guess whoever.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Years in America would it be.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
President Trump? Maybe because they're not even sure he could
do that. That's right. Well, the last time a sitting
president had money with their picture on it was the
was President Coolidge and he printed a fifty cent piece
with his face on it, which that was like one
hundred years ago. But there's a federal law that stipulates that,
you know, coin designs be selected by the Treasury Secretary
(12:28):
after a consultation with the Commission of Fine Arts. But
the Treasury Department appears to have skipped that step. Who
knows who cares. But these are just some of the
things that Yeah, here's a picture, thank you, Jeff, of
the of the coin. My question is, like, who, like
who signs up for the like you know, all these
different all these different things.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
The coin commercials at night.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Now, so that's that's like the like the god exhausting
kind of thing, right.
Speaker 8 (12:56):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Then there's other there's other fun stuff that you could
talk about. A lot of people. We're talking about Chuck Schumer.
Oh my god, this was Senator Schumer. So you know, yeah,
he was speaking in the Senate when the mic picked
up a strange noise. He was talking about President Trump
and the war with Iran mid speech. Here's what happened, and.
Speaker 8 (13:15):
We need a complete investigation that's independent now on Iran
and the NDAA. When all the Trump administration can say
about his disastrous war with.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Iran heard, nobody's gonna remember anything you had to say
about the subjects.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
That's independent now on Iran and the NDAA when all
the Trump administration and he kind of chuckled.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Yeah, So people are like, oh my god, Chuck Schumer
ripped one mid speech. Now, to be fair, was it
actually a fart ninety eight percent?
Speaker 2 (13:50):
No?
Speaker 1 (13:51):
What Yeah, that's what Eddie. All the audio people are
talking about it, and they said the deal breaks now, Yeah,
because just the way that the microphones that are being used.
In this particular case, they for for it to be
you know, capturing that clear from the opposite side of
his body. It's like Walton, omni directional, blah blah blah.
And you know they're talking to all these technical terms
(14:12):
that only Greg and I understand. Yeah, I won't bore
the audience with it.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
But if you see videos of these guys are always
like touching those little like look like wire microphone.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, they're really thin microphone up and down. I mean
even Sea Bass when he's in here like he's kind
he can't like he'll he'll be talking about That's why
you hear this weird as Sea Bass is talking because
he's constantly moving the microphone. It's like that you get
that kind of well, that's the sound you know what
men talking about because it's on that weird almost like
(14:44):
it makes that noise when you're I don't know what
they call that, but.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
That's a metal spring yeah thing. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Now is it funny thinking that it's a fart? Absolutely well,
I like to believe it. It's it's real far Yes,
I absolutely would. Uh. And also the way because I
I watch the video of it, it does kind of
look like you know when you kind of pause, not
you're doing like the the the sneak of cheek. Yeah,
like you know, and by the way, older people are
(15:12):
just shameless when it comes to farting.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Yeah, does it just come out easier?
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Not even at a urinal I'm talking like in just a
regular situation. If you're like sitting there like sometimes like anyway,
they just let it rip.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
You're like, what that's independent?
Speaker 8 (15:26):
Now on Iron and the NDAA when all the Trump administration.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Pretty funny, Yeah, and gases all I want to believe same,
I want to believe exactly right.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I'm going to believe Yeah.
Speaker 8 (15:40):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Coming up next Radio's most immature game, guys, guess whose gas?
The answer is not Chuck Schumer, It'll be somebody in
this room. I'm going homework to capture them. As you
rip them, I will play you, uh, this week's sound.
Then you have to guess whose gas it is. If
(16:01):
you want to play eight seven seven forty four.
Speaker 8 (16:04):
The wood Show.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Yeah, so Jeff g newest member of the WOODI Show crew,
And that right there was not Jeff that he's classy,
he's got ibs. How long have you had that?
Speaker 6 (16:20):
Probably about seven years or so.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Seven years.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Yeah, how do you catch it?
Speaker 6 (16:26):
Well, you don't catch it?
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Well how yea, it develops, It develops.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Yeah. Do you take medication?
Speaker 6 (16:31):
No, I don't take anything. I just that was the
problem is I couldn't figure out what it was.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
For the longest time.
Speaker 6 (16:36):
I had and dascopies and colon oscar's all trying to
figure out what the f was wrong with my digestion,
and it just turned out that it was IBS, which
is just flare ups from different things.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
You know, what do you have to avoid?
Speaker 6 (16:47):
I avoid certain foods and so like chie Usually it's
like the combination of foods, right, too much dairy, like chocolate,
too much caffeine, too much carbonated. So if I do
more than one of those things a day, Yeah, you
like that?
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Give me a bubble gus. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:01):
So I can be cool, like to have some beers,
but if I have like beers and spicy food or
beers and dairy, then that's when it goes outways.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
So is it is it the more farting, more diarrhea?
Speaker 6 (17:12):
Like, uh, it starts as farting and then it gets
to the good stuff.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yeah, that's because as we were talking, as we're talking
about guess who's gas?
Speaker 2 (17:21):
And everything.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
I'm like, all right, man, well now that you're working
here on the show, we got to run you through
all the normal stuff that we do, and guess who's gas.
I mean, it's a fun game.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
He's gonna sweep.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
It's super mature, but it's fun. And you know, we
got Jeff in the mix. If we especially if we
have a guy who's like basically a professional fart, yeah,
I am like, like, how do we how do we
not have Jeff in the mix?
Speaker 9 (17:39):
A guy's got ibs. It sounds like he's gonna need
a splash guard for this. It's not that bad. I
mean I'd heard about it before. But do you take
medication or you just avoid things?
Speaker 1 (17:49):
No?
Speaker 6 (17:50):
I take like a probiotic, and.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Then people take medication to curb it.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
I've seen infommercials or commercials.
Speaker 6 (17:56):
Yeah, yeah, I've never It's never really gotten that bad.
It's just more of me being a little dissiplan and
avoiding like combining those foods that I meant to.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
You know, what's the worst Pooh emergency.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
You've ever had?
Speaker 3 (18:07):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Man, I think we've all had. Like we're candling one
in the car and you're like and you're you're and
you're making that that you know, you know, you're having
that conversation in your head, like, dude, all right, So
if I can't make it, I'm either gonna just go
ahead and crap my pants or I'm gonna just pull
over on the side of the road and just you know, squad, Yeah,
just spray the curb, Like what else are you gonna doc?
(18:34):
The worst, the worst for me ever, was at the
time where the the car that I had the time
had like fabric seats, So if it was leather, I
think you can do a better job of wiping that
out and like, but I think it'd be like the
Seinfeld car smell like if it's the fabric seats, Like
you never get that out, so you're gonna have to
get out of the car.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
But I was.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I was in a situation where I was in bumper
to bumper traffic out and there was nowhere to go.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
Yeah, I was in Rome, and I combined some of
those foods off.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
See I went to town, you.
Speaker 6 (19:01):
Know what I mean, Like in Rome, and we were
pretty far away from my son's apartment and I had
to go like a mile uphill and I was squeezing
cheeks all the way. There was a McDonald's that was close,
and I went in there no bathrooms and I was
literally like holding and running, and they didn't understand the seriousness,
meaning my wife and my son. They were just like
(19:23):
laughing and pointing, and I'm like, hurry up, you need
to get me into his apartment as soon as possible.
And luckily I made it up and I ran up
like four flights of stairs, got in there. I didn't
even make it to the regular can. I went in
the bidet just because I was like run and the
day animal.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Yeah, so it was all bad.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
That was like I think my worst boo emergency. Sorry
everybody listening, by.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
The way, Wow, And it was an epic. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
I carry around amodium like regular work. Yeah, it was
man K.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Yeah, the bag of the bag of over the counters
that I keep in my in my pocket.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
I always have.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Look, I got some advill in there. I got advil,
I got some in a histamine like anti allergy thing.
I have a day quill, and I have some emmodiums.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
You are prepared.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Yeah, it's coming.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
It's coming to andy before for people in this in
this room, you're welcome. All right, it's time for radio's
most immature game, Today's numbas contest. It's time for Yes,
Who's all right? So radio sposed immature game works this way.
I have sent everybody home with an ongoing assignment. Wherever
you feel a good one, Bruin, get that phone ready
(20:34):
and capture its sound, the sound it makes, and then
I send it over to me, and I keep a
whole list of them here in a file, and then
we make a little game out of it. Your job,
