Speaker 1 (00:02):
Is it.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Due to the graphic nature of this.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Program, listener discretion is advised.

Speaker 4 (00:16):

Speaker 5 (00:23):

twenty six, and today is Friday.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I know we're pretty pumped too.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Hi, thank you for being here.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
We are the Woody Show.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Woodie, Greg Menace.

Speaker 6 (01:08):
What up?

Speaker 5 (01:08):

(01:31):
the du i Q Give me a chance to win
some stuff?

Speaker 7 (01:33):
There.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
We got the trending news headlines and Jena grad birthday's
port of Birthday. Anything that we could do to get
through the morning into the weekend as quickly as possible
as what is happening today here on the Woody Show.
But I do before we get to the rest of
the Friday. Okay, it's one thing I have to bring
up and to me this flashes and I only more

(01:55):
recently learned this is that this is a warning sign. Okay, Morgan,
true or not true? You're thinking about getting bangs.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
It's true.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
I have a big forehead.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Okay, So here's my understanding. You can tell me if
I'm wrong. Like when a woman does that, it's like
a it's like a cry for help, like do something
crazy with their hair or bangs specifically. Right, Okay, so
I got.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
That right because dumb.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, it's dumb.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Know that. That said, because some girls look really good.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
With banks, thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I'm thinking of this girl, you know, or Nina Drama.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
Her hair looks so.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Good, she has great bangs extensions.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Is that her name?

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Yeahs As a fellow five header, let me explain something
about getting banks depending on where your natural part is.
That's why I don't do banks anymore, because if I do,
they kind of swoop and it just like puts a
spotlight on my job.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yeah, you can't have a middle part.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
That's so, is that gonna?

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Yeah, Well here's the thing. I'm just considering it. But
because I'm emotional, because I went through a big change
in my life, So let's just push.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I mean, by the way, I don't. I don't see
any bangs.

Speaker 8 (03:09):
Old Morgan is going through stuff right now. You consider
on and say, well, I have a big forehead all
you want, But why did you not ever get bangs
until now?

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Forehead?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Oh no, I've always you know, look at me, right,
But I don't know. Just lately I've been seeing pictures
of girls.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah, you might have been inspired by Ella Langley, who
pretty much changed her whole life getting bangs.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
What the hell is that?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (03:35):
No, it really worked for her. It did change her
whole life. She's a country singer, she said, like the
number one song forever.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Because of the bangs.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah, the bangs change her life, not her talent.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Morgan circle bags.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
We even set herself in an interview.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Yeah, she get a nose job to.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
About the bangs in like a month. Okay, you're still interested.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
It's probably like, uh for women, the main guys whatever,
but for a woman, like maybe what you need to do?

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Why are you taking a picture? I'm going to put
Ai'm a bank a bank.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Because that's a very flattering picture.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
It doesn't matter it, don't worry about that.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
But I'm saying that there's like a tattoo, Like, don't
make a right tyler, Yeah, don't make it like like
just like, what's the word I'm looking for? Emotional?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, we're talking about hair, Thank you many. It's not
like a tattoo moving to another country, Like.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I'm just thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
I'm not going to do it.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Impulse.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
God damn it.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I couldn't think of the word impulse this whole time.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, but we're talking about and then perfect example of
who you brought up need a drama like she always
talks about.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Drama mega hotty.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I mean a lot of people know who she is.
But like the the whole forehead thing. She would always
talk about how she had a huge forehead and then
she started doing the banks thing and it looks great.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
She does have a big forehead, but makes some surprise
you would say it's just hair because like here's a
pretty big deal.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
But also it takes longer for like a woman that
like if we get a bad haircut as a guy,
right exactly, because the length and everything else, you're gonna
need to.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Okay, Okay, so you guys don't agree with that, but
have you ever done that?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
You could do whatever you want. What are you saying,
don't make an impulsive decision.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I get that you're looking out for me. We'll see
what happens in the next few weeks.

Speaker 9 (05:17):
We'll see.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Okay, guys, another question, have you ever done this the
past few nights? I don't know what's gotten into me.
I'm sleeping on the opposite side of the bed, like
not on the right or the left side, but where
my feet usually are. What I'm putting my head there.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Yeah, I do that.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
It's so fun.

Speaker 8 (05:33):
Why if I'm uncomfortable, I'll just flip to the other
side and I can fall asleep quicker for whatever reason.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I don't know. It so good?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah, like why and then.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
I've done that too. It's because of the mattress.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
But I think I'm just gonna sleep that way.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Now if spun the mattress so that the bottom's now
at the top.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
I don't think it's the same. I think it's psychological.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
And I think it's like the whimsiness, right ga, just
like doing something goofy.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yes see, I've tried, like when I go I'm at
a hotel and I'm by myself, I don't sleep. I've
tried to sleep like on the side that my wife
would normally.

Speaker 10 (06:10):
Be on I can't fall asleep really, yeah, no, I
go crazy at all.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
End up more in the middle of the bed. But
I always start on my assigned side a hotel.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Do you have assigned sides on a hotel?

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Yeah, wherever he's used to sleeping in his house. Yeah,
sight he picks at the hotel.

Speaker 9 (06:30):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
If jenn and I are at a hotel, like I
will be. If you're standing at the foot of the
bed looking toward the head of the bed, I'm on
the right side. She's on the left side. We go
to a hotel, it's the same arrangement, and it's unspoken.
It's not like which side do you want? Yeah, I
always take that side.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Dude, What do you next time? Put your head where
your feet usually go? Yeah, no one else I'll do.

Speaker 8 (06:53):
And I don't know if everyone can do this. I'm
kind of short, but I'll just lay sideways across the bed. Yeah,
that's pretty comfortable.

Speaker 9 (06:59):
I do I think about doing either of those things.
That's putting my head where the feet go. That's just
I would never I could live to be a thousand,
I would never think one day, you know what, I
think I'll put my head down here.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Think of it.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
To be fair, though, Greg, I would never consider not
sleeping in my bed because of how well made it is.

Speaker 9 (07:21):
But yeah, but you've done I do that many nights
a week.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Well, yeah, it's our court.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Don't you also take a dump on the mattress when
at a hotel?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Just sure, don't?

Speaker 1 (07:33):
I have not done.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
I'm not done, yeah, Greg Gory.

Speaker 9 (07:37):
Yeah, I have a question for the room as well.
If you have work being done at your house that
takes more than a few days. For example, I'm getting
some wood like fixed, there's cracks in the facier boards,
and then it's going to be repainted and all that.
They told me that they could rent a porta potty
that I would pay for, or could they just come
use my bathroom? And I said, yeah, just use my bathroom.

(07:58):
I have no qualms of people coming to the house.
I'm just using the bathroom, so I'm just gonna leave.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
They're doing outside work, right.

Speaker 9 (08:04):
And then they need access to a bathroom. And it
was the two choices, let them use your bathroom or
use a porta potty. I've never once thought I want
to put a porta potty in front of my house.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
I was thinking about this yesterday really because I was
on a walk and I saw construction at a house
near mind with a porta potty up front. I was like,
I wonder why they have a porta potty? Is that
where they have to go while they're doing construction on
this house?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah? Because there I think there is a like a
worker's right or where there's some kind of law that
says right to dump or something. But you have you
have to they have to be provided a place to
be able to use the restroom. So if you're doing
work at a house, you know your contractor doing work
at the house, you either have to have access to
a bathroom inside or there has to be a port

(08:47):
of a portagohn outside by regulation.

Speaker 9 (08:50):
But because you have to give them access, you pay
the bill if they did port a potty thing. The
last time I had workers used the bathroom though, this
guy used the toilet and I swear he must have
opened it and then he peed on the floor.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
The whole bathroom floor was what if they explode?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Wasn't the solar guy who was the one who was
like U in the backyard?

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Yeah, my god, Yeah, there.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Was a guy pooping in the backyard. He left it
in Greg's trash can.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
God, its awesome.

Speaker 9 (09:18):
Yeah, pooped in one of those like like that like
dust pan, like where you put the leaves, Greg.

Speaker 10 (09:24):
Do you have a guest restroom while they will be
where they will be? Uh siloed to.

Speaker 9 (09:29):
Yes, Okay, it's in the down down the hallway. Here's
the door to that. Closing the door to outside unlocked.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
People doing work outside. I would just rather do the
porta potty thing people doing work inside, they're already in the.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
House already, and just use the restroom in the house.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
For a couple of reason. Number one, you know they're
they're probably trapesing through dirt and all kinds of other
stuff that you bring it in and out of the
house constantly in and out of the house, you know,
because you know the doors give it dog get out
or whatever. There's that. But also like if you don't
have any other business then to be in the house
other than the bathroom, I don't like just like knowing
I'm not going to be home and just having open

(10:07):
access to the house if you're already in there. For
some reason, I feel differently about that.

Speaker 9 (10:12):
That's the one thing that's like a factor here. I
won't even be home. I'll leave the door lock it.
I'd spring for the for the portage.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
There's another fun place that you and Mario can you know,
have sex or something like outdoor stuff.

Speaker 9 (10:27):
That would be very sexual.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Adventure.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Just to do another option that's not normally there outside,
I could try it, you know, or like, you know, guys,
we'd like to you know, go places that aren't normal.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
So like outside is always fun.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Like even though you're home, Greg and you have access
to the stuff inside, you can just go outside outside
and use the portage on in your own driveway.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
I'm being in my driveway right now. Wo yeah, tell
you this. When I was a kid growing up, well
my parents were still together. We lived at a at
a house and in the backyard with a telephone pole
that was made out of wood, and I used to
go pee on it like most telephone poles, like like
a dog just for fun, just for fun.

Speaker 9 (11:08):
Yeah, I would not, like, not even long ago, and
maybe twelve years ago. I would. When I had my
dog Rex, and he would have to pee before bed,
and sometimes he wouldn't, so I would go out in
the backyard and pee, and then he would realize, oh
I guess I should pee ten.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Wah, sweet, you inspired him? Yeah you're no. Watch daddy,
See this is how you do it. Yeah, watch the
way I do. He's had a good example.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
Yeah, I have a doll dog. I guess I'll do
it for her. Yeah, all right, time for the birthdays.

Speaker 9 (11:40):
This shi wen't sit like this ship and you know
we don't.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Do Happy birthday to the hop. David Hasselhoff. Nice, it
was seventy four today. Luke Bryan is fifty. Geezer Butler
from Blacks Sabbath is seventy seven. I thought that was
like an unfortunate name, Geezer, first I ever heard of them?

Speaker 9 (12:05):
Really?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, yeah he's Butler.

Speaker 11 (12:08):
Yeah, never have there you.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Go Mark Burnett, the guy responsible for you know, Shark Tank, Survivor,
The Boys, a lot of those shows.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
He's sixty six.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
And then see you got Connor Badard who's from the
Chicago Blackhawks. He's only twenty one years old. And dude,
he's a he's really good, nice and he's gonna get pain.
Connor Bdard see Porno Bardette is Vivianne de Sylvia. Antay's
Bert the girl. She's seen more ceilings than a spider
just staring at it all the time. Two hundred and

(12:38):
twenty eight fine films, including No One Rides for Free.
She was in All He Wants is Bush, That's it,
Bang the Rage Way, Volume one. Also my stepson is
a panty thief. She was in Dominated on Mother's Day
down in dirty Laundry matt anal Oh And then who
can forget her unfrei role in Brazilian College Babe uses

(13:01):
her tight butthole for rent payment.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Why can I think of that?

Speaker 9 (13:05):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Use what you got? Yeah, that's plan to Seba. Yeah,
who is thirty four years old?

Speaker 7 (13:10):

There's something over than they're cuckoo. They are liars, they're cheeks,
they're sick people. The Woody Show whis back.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
And we dive right into the trending news headlines with
Gina Grad.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
Some nut job crashed the Today Show set in New
York looking for Al Roker, saw that dude, this guy.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Broke dog Andrew True Love.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Does the security suck everywhere?

Speaker 5 (14:24):
It must?

Speaker 2 (14:26):
How do people get to the top of the Empire
State Building?

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Well, it's like me said before, like in other like
in Europe, it's like their security is always like big buff.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Like hot military, like UFC fighters.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Any venue you go to like a concert, or you
go to like and like little kids, like a Chuck
E Cheese type spot, the security looks like they will
rip your head off into seconds.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
And this is just like breaker.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
We just get some crackhead and throw a yellow jacket
on them.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, like how does somebody get on set?

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Yeah, yeah, well apparently he snuck past security. What like
on your tiptoe le?

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Did you see the two guys?

Speaker 7 (15:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, somebody saw them in handcuffs outside, and uh, you
know these guys. It kind of reminded me remember in
Home Alone when they arrested the Wet bandits and they're
kind of like bickering with each other, same kind of
thing because the guy, the guy's talking to him and
he goes, so you're the guy.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
He goes, did you hear about it?

Speaker 2 (15:25):
And he goes, yeah, who are you with? He's like post.
He goes, oh so hate post guy bla. And then
the cops said, all right, let's go turn him around.
And I guess the other guy got a little too
close to me and goes, he's got a snap to
his buddy.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
He's fine.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Conspiracy.

Speaker 5 (15:41):
Well, here's what happened. So he went to look for
al Roker, but he instead he came face to face
with Craig Melvin from The Today Show, lunged at him,
called them the N word, and security, like you said,
they arrived, they coughed him. The dude was charged with burglary,
menacing criminal trespassing, hate crimes and her harassment. And no,
we do not have audio because it happened off the air.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Unfortunately, many so many psychos out there, you know, you know,
we're hearing about it more or they're more psychos is
bolder and bolder.

Speaker 9 (16:13):
I think we're hearing about it more.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
I think we're producing more psychos online, people going into
like deep like web.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
You know, yes, people are getting them bolded. Yeah, it's
like what's it called a cognitive dissonance, Like they go
online to be proven right and then go insane.

Speaker 9 (16:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Well, the Navy's Blue Angels are in a little bit
of trouble after they pulled the stunt at an air
show in Florida.

Speaker 9 (16:36):
Video.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Yeah, I commented on on one of the stories. I
saw like what problem I would be extra for exactly,
And that's.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
How most people felt. So basically, they were doing their
annual flyover on the beach, but they flew way too
low and close to the beach. Yeah, we have some audio.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
It's awesome.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Here we go, here's the here's the clip. Because they
have what they called the distractor, right, and they do
this at air shows all the time, where oh here
comes one of the planes and people are focused on that. Well,
what you don't see or hear until it's right on
you is behind you. There's another one coming from the
opposite direction, and that's part of the thrill. And that's
what they that's what they did. There's one that's over
like the water that people are on the beach, and

(17:14):
then here comes one tearing you know, like on a
knife's edge, you know, right across the surface of the
beach there. It's pretty cool, man.

Speaker 8 (17:25):
I've been coming for ten years and I've never seen
a past like that in my life.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
So yeah, it's so cool, like, yeah, it got so
close to like tents and chairs like beach like everybody's
flying around.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
Crazy.

Speaker 13 (17:39):
Now.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Now here's the interesting thing about that woman right there.
So that's a clip. It was on ABC News tonight
and she was, you know, giving that interview. Well, they
cut the rest of it out and she went on there.
She went on there their social media and made it
common like, Hey, I'm the chick. Here's it. I'm the

(17:59):
one from me interview and I'm so pissed that you
left the rest of my interview out where I said
it was amazing.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
Yeah, I absolutely.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Love the Blue Angels, and it was the best show
I've seen. Shame on you, ABC News because they saying
this story is not like, oh, this was crazy and
very dangerous marble. Yeah, it's like I've never seen a
pad been though. It's a lot of pass I've never
seen that before.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Yeah, and people said it was super cool.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
The Navy says they're reviewing safety protocols, but made it
pretty clear that like they're going to let this slide
for sure.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Well.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
President Trump jumped on TV and streaming platforms last night
to talk about corrupt elections in the US. He says
that he declassified a bunch of documents that show cracks
in America's election system and election fraud. He also claimed
that China hacked and interfered in the twenty twenty election.

Speaker 14 (18:45):
Sorry, hold on, you can't have a great country without
free and fair elections.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
All we want is honesty in our elections and honesty
and reporting.

Speaker 15 (18:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (18:55):
Several TV outlets like CNN, ABC, NBC, they made the
choice not to air the speech live, but they pushed
it onto their streaming platforms.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
I'll say it so everybody, can, you know, save their text,
release the Epstein files.

Speaker 5 (19:07):
Thank you, thank you. Well, meanwhile, this is this is
crazy because you know, everybody's in the betting market now
and the president's teleprompter operator is being accused of making
over one hundred thousand dollars by placing bets on more
than a dozen of the president's speeches on Calshi, Gee,
I wonder why his name is Gabriel Perez and he's

(19:29):
been running Trump's teleprompter since twenty sixteen. Well, Calshi reported
the suspicious activity because bets were made repeatedly on specific
words used by Trump over a three month period.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
This is what Greg's been saying.

Speaker 9 (19:40):
Yeah, you can figure this out in the pass.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Yeah, so like when the Super Bowl rolls around and
there's those bets, the prop bets you could place on
what color the gatorade's going to be. Greg's like, well,
why doesn't the gatorade guy tell friend shoe hey, man.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
Well, just that's it. But that's the thing. Do your thing,
but don't get greedy like this guy. It was pinged
flag because he made so much money. And Calshi has
a policy of course against users placing bets based on
info they got as part of their job.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Well, unless you're part of the government. Then you can
do it all the time inside information to get rich.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
That's just being a good stock market.

Speaker 5 (20:14):
That's production coworker.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Well, Gabriel admitted to making some bets, but he hasn't
admitted any wrongdoing and he's been put on leave by Trump.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Which, by the way, you might be able to start
betting on canceled flights. Yes, so this is you'd be
able to predict what percentage of flights will be canceled
during a specific time period. This is on calshie and
if you're right, you know, make yourself some money.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
I mean, we might as well get some benefit out
of it.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, rules flight Aware says you have you see flight
aware it's an appy. Yeah, you know, so you can
use the trackt your flights and stuff. In their parent company,
it says it never gave Calshi permission to use its
data and warn them that they lose access to the app.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
So good luck.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Yeah, exactly. I think it'd be kind of fun though.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
But dude, I think you want to talk about what
we're making more of degenerate gamblers. Of course, because it's
so easy to gamble literally on anything. Any sports betting
is one thing yeah, but this calshi the prediction market
stuff like all prop bets, all man, you could bet
on anything.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
And I saw an article saying that therapists are reporting
more teenage boys coming in for gambling addiction issues. So
we're starting early everybody.

Speaker 9 (21:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Now she's just sponsored by the way some of our
stations and if you want a couple extra bucks, go
to radiolien dot com. Tell you why. Well.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Finally, General Mills is recalling nearly seven hundred and thirty
six thousand frozen Pillsbury bread rolls because they might contain glass.

Speaker 9 (21:35):
I'll take that chance.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Yeah, that's another thing Greg's been saying, Yeah, just put
them out for free. Yeah. So whenever there's these that
might be glass, whenever there's these like recalls about different
things like oh there could be shards of metal from
the production process or whatever in there, and they collect
them all and they destroy it all, Greg has an idea.

Speaker 9 (21:52):
Yeah, I mean they just say, instead of recalling them,
just say, hey, we have all these extras, would you
like them for free? They might have a piece of wire, It.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Don't come for us.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
That would just make you hyper vigilant, you know, the
chances just to thoroughly before you.

Speaker 9 (22:07):
Swallow, like finding the golden ticket in that chocolate bar.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Thank you, pretty rare, yes, exactly.

Speaker 9 (22:13):
And there might be some wire in it, but what
are the chances really?

Speaker 2 (22:16):
You know, it got me nervous now ever since I
saw a story about it, the brushes that you used
to clean your grill.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
I was just thinking that when you said metal, you
did you see, Yeah, when you're cleaning your grill.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
And it happens every once in a while. I never
realized not common, but like how much more than I realized.

Speaker 5 (22:33):
That emergency room doctors talk about it.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Because iway was used that, Like you know, the the
brush to clean the grate on your grill, and you
know the the wire.

Speaker 9 (22:41):
Ones, and then you throw a burger on top of it.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Yeah, and then there's that little there's that little bristle
and this person got like that bristle stuck in their
lung because they ate the burger. But it's somehow like
they when they went to go ticket by the burger,
they inhalealed.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
I was like, how did they get in there lung?

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Because they hailed to go to eat their burger. It
came off the burger went into their throat lodged itself
and it's in this person's lung and they I'll do
they end up having to have surgery.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
At kid got it stuck in his colon, and.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
That's why you see more and more. Now there are
the brushes that you'll see that they sell to clean
your grill. Are not those steel steel bristles?

Speaker 5 (23:21):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 9 (23:22):
You could use a lemon. Apparently you take a lemon,
cut it in half.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Just is it bad? One the grill gets too dirty,
I'm like, it's time for new grill. It's washed.

Speaker 9 (23:36):
I only cookie sheets. Great.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
There are services. I just learned about this somewhat recently
because a neighbor of mine did it where he had
a grill. He's had it for a long time and
like you said, Matt's got really jacked up and dirty.
There are like detail services, like grill detail services that
come around and it looks he showed me the grill,
it looks brand new.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
Industry for everything brand new.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Yeah, if I had a built in that's definitely that'd
be awesome.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Yeah, but you can do it for any grill. Like
and but like the great brand new looks brand new.
I don't know what they're using to get all the
the gunk and stuff off of there. I mean he
takes the knobs off, he takes all the stuff and
cleans inside.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
And it's such a p That's one of those things
that it's worth throwing money at. Like who wants to
be involved with like taking the knobs.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
On the grill? Now, I don't know how much that cost.
I didn't ask that question, So it may be like
you said, menace, like you have just said, like, let's
say you paid two hundred bucks for the grill, and
this is two hundred bucks to get this one clean,
you might as well just go get the new one.
But if you do have like one of those nicer
people have them built into the you know, the ones

(24:48):
off the gas line of the house or something like
that's you know, this guy's this guy's drill looks brand.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
New grills are getting crazy at the home depot, you know,
with the big hibachi oh yeah style uh plates on them.
It's awesome. I figure what those are called?

Speaker 2 (25:02):
What are those? Man? They're really popular. We gave some
away on the show.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Oh the Blackstone Blackstone, yeah, riddle, yeah. We were given
one of those ones with the smokers and the pellets
and stuff that you have to like churn. But it
is when we were living basically in an apartment complex,
and so the neighbor claimed because literally the smoke was
fed right into his window. I was like, we got
to get rid of this thing.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah, Blackstone, you got the big green egg.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Yeah they can go.

Speaker 9 (25:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Well a lot of options out there, guys.

Speaker 5 (25:30):
So look into it, especially right now. But I do
want to let you know about these roles that it's
not like the stuff at the grocery store. These were
sent to restaurants, so you know, when you get your
free bread on the table, have yourself some fun. Oh
who cares General Mills sent out you know they're serving those.

Speaker 9 (25:44):
Yeah, and then you can make it a game with
whoever find.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
That's what I'm saying. Yes, yeah, that's to pick up
the check on the way to the hospital. So this
is in a bunch of states California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri,
New Mexico, and more, and the FDA classified it as
a Class two recall, which means the roles could cause
temporary health problems.

Speaker 10 (26:04):
So good luck out there if.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
You bring nothing to use it at the beach to
look for treasure before you have your rolled, you know,
check it out. That's what's going on, all right, Thank
you very much, Gina Grado. So we tried this once before. Yo,
what's good?

Speaker 1 (26:23):
What's good?

Speaker 9 (26:24):
All right?

Speaker 2 (26:24):
So there's plenty of good news out there. There's plenty
of good stuff out there, and this is not typically
maybe what you would expect where you know, happy, happy
story time. The intent here is not to bring something
up and then immediately turn around and crap on it
all over it, which again there was an a for
effort last time. But it's almost like we couldn't help ourselves.

(26:44):
It's like when you're training your dog and you put
the treat down, you go wait, wait, and they're like
they're salivating, they're staring right at it, and sometimes they
just can't help them something. They just go in the gray,
all right, getting better, getting better. I think I think
we can do it.

Speaker 9 (27:00):
Though.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
I've asked everybody to bring a good news story to
the table. And you know, I'm always impressed by, you know,
advances in medical science, you know, things like that.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I have one of those.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Alzheimer's is a you know a big thing for a
lot of families. You know who just got die? Oh,
Sully Sullenberger, the landing on the Hudson Pilot Guide. But
scientists have found that a simple blood test may be
able to predict whether a healthy person is at high
risk of developing Alzheimer's years before symptoms appear. And so

(27:32):
it measures a protein that's linked to Alzheimer's and it
found that people with the highest levels of that protein
had a close to like a forty percent chance of
developing these things. And so it's not ready for every
day use yet because they're doing more research and everything,
but they say it'll be used to help research as
to identify people who may be good candidates for them.
The Alzheimer's prevention things that they're coming.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Up with is that's incredible because that's one of my
biggest fears, is Alzheimer's.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah, isn't and people call it old timers all the
time and when they have Alzheimer's. Yeah, Oh, that reminds
me because I followed up with my doctor after I
just have my physical recently turning fifty this year. My
wife goes, at what age do you have to you know,
start getting the digit and the rectum test. I wonder
for the prostate, and I followed up with him yesterday
and he goes, you know what, he goes, great news.

(28:21):
You don't why because now he goes, and he made
a really good point about it, and you could do
whatever you want. He goes. Look, he goes, if you
feel more comfortable, like you feel it's more thorough in
your mind, go, we can schedule that. You can do it,
no problem, he goes, But this blood test, remember you
read to the commercial shot. It's accurate because it shows

(28:42):
an increase in your level for whatever they're testing for
four prostate issues. Right, So if you're normal like range,
you're fine. If it goes elevated, you wait a certain
amount of time, you retest. If it's elevated again, then
you go get a biopsy. And that is accurate. He goes,
because the finger test is arbitrary based on the doctor.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
Think about that.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
True, it's an individual judgment call based on what he's
feeling with his human finger. It's not super it's not
super like a specific accurate. But it's just so that
made a lot of sense to me. He goes, Now again,
it's all about comfort, you know, comfort level, But uh,
you know, so that that's what he said. He goes,
there's a ton of write ups and stuff. You can
read all about it.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
But I'm kind of sad to hear that because I
always feel like that was a write a passage for
you guys, and.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
You just volunteer.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
You can do it.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
It can be done.

Speaker 5 (29:31):
I want everyone to do it.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
But you could still do it if if you choose,
like you think, okay, well you know what I'd I'd
much rather that like my father. So I got that
blood panel done. Everything look totally normal. He goes, Now,
if it comes back next year, we do the same
thing and it's elevated. He goes, well, we'll we'll, you know,
whatever the time period is, and then we'll do the
the retest. If it's elevated again, then you do the biopsy.

(29:54):
He goes, an, the biopsy is the way they go
and they do what there's a there's a sedation to yeah, because.

Speaker 9 (30:00):
I recently did it, the actual finger test, right, and
I will say it was less than five seconds.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Yeah, it's pretty quit hurt.

Speaker 9 (30:08):
It's not a big deal. And the reason he said,
they have to do the blood test and the actual
digit is to feel if there's any growth or if
it's in large something like that.

Speaker 10 (30:18):
Yeah, which I can tell you right there.

Speaker 9 (30:20):
After Yeah, five seconds of weirdness. It wasn't pain, it
was just weird. I thought that was good news, great menace.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
What do you got? Well, I have something in the
medical field as well. In the Children's Hospital in Washington,
d C. They're doing this new trial run of this
new cell therapy in children who have terminal brain cancer.
And they were able to cure four kids with this

(30:49):
new trial run with what they're doing with these T cells,
and like three of the kids is undetectable now and
then one of them they can they can still attack
some of it, but they're they're gonna live. It's insane.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
It's cool. And with these you know, with the with
the computer power that we have now and the ease
of sharing of information that's all studies and things like that,
it's so cool.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
I mean, people are all crazy about AI and like
you know, making photos of themselves level yes, yeah, but
for good it's great, Yeah, but for good. It's like again,
it like processes so much information at one time, so
like forty years of research can like be processed in
like thirty seconds, and they can just like have all
these breakthroughs. It's incredible.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Yeah, what's good.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
I all, I'm all for robots and roeblots and AI,
but sometimes you just got to go back to the
basics and shout out Japanese tree frogs because researchers have
found that the gut bacteria and these little guys, they
completely wipe out cancer tumors and mice with a single dose.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Okay, now here's what I did. This is anticipate going
into this. I didn't realize it's gonna be a medical update.
We're going to be the medical journey.

Speaker 5 (31:59):
Yeah, we're totally medical.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
I realize that.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Like I I'm just basing it on something I had
just seen and talking to my doctor and me, I
guess just saw that.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Yeah, there's so much medical news.

Speaker 7 (32:08):
But it's good.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
It's great news.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
It's good stuff.

Speaker 5 (32:11):
The bacteria kills these cancer cells like immediately, and this
is for colo rectal cancer, so now they're looking at
it for breast cancer, pancreatic and skin cancer. Just the
little tree frogs just grab a little gut bacteria and
we'll all be cured.

Speaker 9 (32:23):
Thank you frogs.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
Yeah, thanks tree frogs.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah, So what I mean you get cancer. But the
cure is you just got to know jerk this frog off.

Speaker 5 (32:30):
Yeah, yeah, done.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Yeah, put a couple of drops on your tongue. Yeah,
you're good, Greg Gory.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
What's good?

Speaker 9 (32:41):
Well, when we print stuff at work, people say, oh, geez,
you must hate trees and stuff like that. And then
when we went on an Alaska cruise, I even said
many times, God, there's so many trees out there.

Speaker 7 (32:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (32:53):
But the thing is, and you mentioned AI menace, nobody
really knew how many trees there were on Earth. Early
estimates were four hundred billion trees on planet Earth. But
now how many people on Earth about and a half billion,
given they thought there were four hundred billion trees. But
with AI scientists they do use satellite images and AI

(33:15):
to give a new and improved and more accurate estimation
of how many trees there are on Earth, which are
vital for the environment, in the air and animals. And
the new estimate is three point zero four trillion trees.
So next time somebody says, wow, don't print that, you
know what.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
I say, less, I was going to use this for
something else, but like you know, I I'm going to
reprint it. Think there was a typo on it, and
I'm just going to reprint it all together because you know.

Speaker 9 (33:47):
You should twenty of trees, yeah, planet trees. Well, we're
just talking news all around.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
We're just talking about recently, Greg, something you and I
do with what what what is it that you were
doing or filling out? And he completely scrapped the whole thing.
Gina couldn't believe it.

Speaker 5 (34:01):
I was shocked.

Speaker 9 (34:02):
It could be a simple grocery list.

Speaker 5 (34:05):
For himself, not like posting it online.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
But the way, I won't do this with a grocery list.
There was something else that you did. Oh a check.
If you're writing a check and there's one I'm not
happy with the signature, yeah, or something came out sloppy
like you were like that E looked more like a weird.

Speaker 10 (34:18):
C and.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
You will go out and buy new greeting cards right
if you mess.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Yeah I did that before too.

Speaker 9 (34:25):
Oh yeah, there's nothing more embarrassing than scratch. But Greg
does it with a grocery and.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
A grocery list.

Speaker 9 (34:31):
It'll be like, oh, we need uh wind ex and milk.
Oh wait, no, we don't need wind decks. Scratch. Oh,
I can't have a scratch out, start over.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
So he writes it again.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Yeah, unbelievable because.

Speaker 9 (34:41):
I'm a pig.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Good.

Speaker 8 (34:46):
Well in animal news, so there was this pug Tilly
in Arizona. She showed up to the shelters trauma hospital
and she was severely and you make underweight, dehydrated, and
mostly unresponsive. And there was a rescue greg pitbull who
saved its life by donating blood in an emergency transfusion,
which is something that has never occurred to me.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
People saving life is supposed to taking life for the
first time. That is good news.

Speaker 8 (35:16):
Yeah, but like donating bloods or blood or organs, I
guess for animal animals, maybe taking our dogs to donate
blood for other dogs.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Does they because like you know, we've done like transplants
with like pig hearts. Yeah that's true. I don't know,
but like a dog's blood.

Speaker 8 (35:31):
After getting a blood donation, her condition improved almost immediately.
And then the pit bull, it's a seven year old pipule,
got adopted to its forever home.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
So it saves a life.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
So yeah, is uh ma'am. I was just assumed mammal blood,
wouldn't it be like, uh, dog blood different?

Speaker 9 (35:52):
I'm guessing it wouldn't work in a human yea, I
know nothing about that.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
I don't know, I don't know. I'm just wondering out loud.

Speaker 5 (36:01):
No, we have new questions, sammy question.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Yeah, now we just want to know if we got it,
our dads will get harrier.

Speaker 5 (36:09):
Yeah, it completely different blood group systems.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
It says interesting though, Jeff G. What's good?

Speaker 16 (36:16):
I want to shout out M and M and his
daughter Hayley. They wiped out seven hundred grand in school
lunch debt in their home state of Michigan.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Yeah, this is pretty cool. That's a big problem.

Speaker 16 (36:25):
You know, lunch debt is a serious thing, especially nowadays.
So they wanted to make sure kids didn't go hungry
in their state, one hundred and three different schools. They
spent seven hundred grand and wiped out all the lunch
debt for all the students there.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
So I love that, man, that's very cool.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Is that Like when a kid goes to school, doesn't
have lunch, and so they give them like the ticket
to go grab a lunch.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
Yeah you oh yes, at.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
That point basic debt. Oh yeah, Like where's the debt
come from? I thought maybe, like, okay, these are just
like as a budget that we have to take care
of kids with, but they have to pay it back typically. Yeah,
so they's getting elections on school line, like the collections
guys calling you because you're you know your kid has
a you know as a cafeteria debt.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (37:08):
It can either happen like if they forget their lunch
or they don't have enough money to buy the ticket,
so the school you know, is obligated to feed them. Still, right,
you can't just be like you get Yeah. So but
they rack up all the debt and they paid it
all off.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Yeah that's cool. Rules.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (37:22):
Finally, because a lot of these celebrities, when they attach
themselves to charities, it turns me off to the charity
because I think, you know what you got, these ten
A listers, you could just solve the problem right now
here he is without asking anybody, just did it.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Well, I'm sure they donate beyond their time. I'm sure
they do, hope.

Speaker 9 (37:39):
So I would like it to be more transparent though.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
I would, I would think, because then you bring a
lot of you know, uh, focus and attention awareness, sure,
whatever it is, so you can then use that to
bring in even more.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
Money, Like I didn't even know that was a problem. Wow.
Good Yeah, no, everybody can follow.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yeah, I mean we've worked with a really great organization
that tries to do the same thing that and did
no kid hungry, and but it just doesn't cover the
entire country, you know, So donate to that if you
want to help kids like that.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Hey, give them those Pillsbury roles that were back all
the day. Yeah, let me meet those things. Take a chance,
you know what I mean. Don't let it go to waste, right,
Craig exactly seven forty four Wooding. Send us a text
over to two two nine eight seven More Wooden Shows, next,
hang up.

Speaker 5 (38:25):
More Woody Show?

Speaker 10 (38:26):
Is that.

Speaker 13 (38:28):
I know?

Speaker 5 (38:28):
I hear it out the Woodie Show.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
Well, I got the phones open eight seven seven forty
four Wooding.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
You can send us a text.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Send that text over to two to nine eight seven
findest follow us on social media, do it. You can
look for us there at the Woody Show. We posted
a like a soccer World Cup video where Menace Menace
was the goalie, like office soccer. Yeah, and we all

(38:59):
took turns trying to do like a penalty kick. Yeah,
I'll see if we can get in by a great goalie. Uh, well, Greg,
he was our top scorer.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
I know you did well, Greg, Messy Gory, he just scores.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Dude. We all we all took our our shots, right. Yeah.
The comments on the video are pretty funny. There's a
lot of comments in there now Menji who works in
there with Bored India in the production area over there,
he took some shots. Did you ever play organized sports
at all?

Speaker 1 (39:33):
I once played basketball.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
Once, like one time.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
You were on a team once.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Like I was on a team.

Speaker 5 (39:39):
It was this one time game and it's walking back.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
I will tell you that that team never won a
game though, we never won once.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
Were you a starter?

Speaker 17 (39:49):
You know?

Speaker 1 (39:50):
Yeah, it was my first time playing. Yeah, the team
at all.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
But did you start the game or are you off
the bench?

Speaker 9 (39:55):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (39:56):
I I was, Well, most of our our teammates kind
of quit, so I had to be Yeah, because you're
too good. You're shaming them.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Had you ever kicked a soccer ball before we did
this video?

Speaker 1 (40:09):
Yeah? I did kick the many a ball?

Speaker 2 (40:12):
Okay, okay, Well one of the comments on the video,
are you aware of this?

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Yes? I think I know what this is?

Speaker 12 (40:19):
This?

Speaker 1 (40:20):
Yeah, what is that?

Speaker 2 (40:21):
I see his fiance or is it your wife? My girlfriend. Girlfriend,
Oh girlfriend, Okay, well you'll you'll understand why I ask.
All right, she she jumped into the comments.

Speaker 10 (40:34):
And we talked about what a character she is, man like,
she down.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
She is a very direct person.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
Yeah, just a mince words.

Speaker 5 (40:45):
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (40:46):
Take a guess at what do you think her comment
she saw the video where we're kicking the soccer ball,
and we all saw Menji's performance. What do you think
her comment was.

Speaker 9 (40:54):
Aimed at Menji or aimed at a comment? Yes, aimed
at Menji from the girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
She probably said it was a bitch kick or something
like that. Yeah, all right, what would she have said?

Speaker 5 (41:07):
Yeah, I mean she would have said something mean to Menji?

Speaker 9 (41:09):
Would That's what I'm.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
Okay, you're wrong. Here's what she said.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
Obviously met her.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
She says, look at my hubby. That's why I am Yeah,
look at my hubby kicking like a bitch. Yeah, come
to his defense.

Speaker 18 (41:28):
No, that's that's why she's so funny.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
She's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Look at my hubby kicking like a bitch.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (41:36):
I've seen her go after other people and I thought
that she would never But I love it.

Speaker 14 (41:40):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Were you were sitting at the dinner table when she
wrote that up.

Speaker 5 (41:48):
It's incredibly emasculated.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
That's so funny. Rules eight seven seven forty four. You
can now send us a text over to two two
nine eight seven. See people talk about my wife all
the time. Oh she's so sweet and blah blah blah
blah blah. I'll tell you what she's mean as a
snake to me.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
To me, she is just give her one cocktail.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Well, it's like you know, spicy Nacho. Her name is Jessica,
but she has a couple of drinks and she gets
the nickname. It's how she got the nickname, because you
get spicy a couple of drinks and it's on yeah,
and that's and dude, she goes in on Menace too.
She's another one. She'll go in on Menace like she's
had a couple of drinks, just like the WOODI Show
prom It's like Menace is ready to go yeah, and

(42:31):
she's like, you know.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
Wants to stay and party.

Speaker 9 (42:33):
Oh yeah and bye.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
She's giving you that that like side eye and rolling
her eyes like that's what happened that you want to
be a bitch. Doesn't mean I'm leaving?

Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah, Well, that's what happened last last weekend with well,
her and julian went to Emo night. I just went
to bed. Yeah, and what happened Julianne face planet? Yeah,
you know, like, why do I want to be around that?

Speaker 9 (42:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (42:57):
So I mean maybe really sweet to everybody, but you
you know, isn't that great the person have to spend
the most time with.

Speaker 5 (43:05):
Yeah, the show.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Into another new hour. Here are the Woodie Show, Woody,
Greg Nis, Gina Grade. It's fail time, clearly. I mean
it is that time of the week. Time for ladies
and gentlemen, a round of the Friday fail stories. And
I'm telling you we've got some good ones this week.
All right, let's start it off right with some quality

(43:30):
singing Friday fail stories.

Speaker 9 (43:33):
Here we go.

Speaker 5 (44:11):
I'm right megas, gentlemen, boys.

Speaker 2 (44:13):
And girls, it is time for your Friday film story.
People thought they had the perfect plan. They planned it
can never go wrong. But then somewhere along the line
it went from being a great idea to one big
stake in Mega Uber Ultra.

Speaker 5 (44:45):
You know what that was tight.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
It started a little rocky, but then I thought it
really settled in off night. Yeah, I give it like
a seven.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
About high six.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
I will start with this story, and there's a there's
a for this one. You might have seen it. The
Russian soldier and he's sitting behind one of those like
turret machine guns. It's a Yakbe twelve point seven helicopter
machine gun. So's it's on a stand right like it's up,
it's propped up, and the guy sits there. G I
Joe used to have one, I remember when I was

(45:21):
a kid. And it has the two big handles on
the side and it can spin around. Remember like how
Chili would run the guns and the Millennium Falcon and
spin around. So it's a turret gun like that was
just get those three sixty helicopter kind of thing. Anyway,
the dude was training on it, but not quite ready
for prime time. He pulled the trigger immediately, this little
puss gets spun around the turret, flung off the platform.

(45:45):
The gun is firing the whole time. He almost took
out the instructor who was standing behind him for the training.

Speaker 19 (45:51):
Here is the audio. You god, damn dude, it almost
killed us. All everybody was okay, man, that could have

(46:14):
been really bad. This guy should be peeling potatoes in
the mess hall, So that should it's like one of
those like little like weakling guys. Yeah, still this is
not This is not the guy you want sitting behind
his He just didn't anticipate the power.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 7 (46:33):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
Here's one from Gina's hometown of Kansas City with this guy.
He got him stuckhself in an interesting situation. He somehow
got himself stuck underneath the seat of a porta potty.
This is like the second time in as many weeks
as we've had like a porta potty thing. Remember the
guy who dropped his phone in there and let it
go and ended up getting stuck. I have no idea
how this guy did this or how he got stuck

(46:54):
in the first place, but he couldn't get out, so
he called nine to one one. The fire department shows up.
They weren't exactly the thrills you can hear by their
tone dealing with this guy in the the clip here
that you know you got a grown ass man needed
to get rescued from a portable toilet. They're like, come on, man,
watch yourself getting it way back. We're gonna cut all

(47:15):
the way down, get way back.

Speaker 7 (47:21):
Where have they the.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
I hate this guy. Come on, dude, help us.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Out, help me, help you rig? Are you thinking what
I'm thinking? If that was me? Just end it.

Speaker 9 (47:39):
You just submerge yourself. You're no longer breathing.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
I picture them standing back to another Star Wars reference.
Remember when they all got into the trash compactor, that
little thing with the eyeball sticks out and whatever, like
God knows what's down there.

Speaker 5 (47:52):
It just lay down your death take you.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
He was eventually pulled out. They hosed him down right
there next to the fire truck sale like I.

Speaker 1 (48:01):
Had a pretty coquel.

Speaker 9 (48:02):
How long of a shower did you take?

Speaker 2 (48:04):
Here's one from California where there's dope. He was flexing
on the gram, posting a photo of him with some
of his sweet ass guns. But here's the thing. The
guy's a convicted felon, so he's not allowed to have
these guns. So you better take him down before never
mind too late, cup saw it. They come over to
talk to the guy about it, and he tried to run.
He leads them on a high speed chase, didn't get far.

(48:27):
He was arrested. He's looking at fifteen years in failed jail. Now,
how's that for a flex.

Speaker 9 (48:33):
Well, when you thought or an activity, you must must
by law post it.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
There's no option.

Speaker 9 (48:41):
No, no, you have to post what you're thinking doing. Yeah,
all time, Yeah, you have to.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
This next one is from Lake County, Florida, where the
school principal was enjoying her summer vacation. She was out
of the friend for a night. This woman she's out with,
this is another principle from a different school. So they're
out in the town.

Speaker 1 (48:59):
At the end of the night.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
If they hop in her super sweet jeep and they
head home on the way, cops sees her swerving pools
are over. Here's a little about how that went.

Speaker 20 (49:07):
Jennifer, you consumed any alcohol today because I can smell it.

Speaker 15 (49:12):
We are both high in the total poll of you know,
education and our workforce. So it's it's it's hard and
we're both married to put the Now.

Speaker 5 (49:27):
We're high on the total pole.

Speaker 15 (49:29):
It's hard and we're both married to put the Uh.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
Anyway, So arrested for duy, hauled off to fail jail.
So she the one behind the wheel. She's off to jail.
They called an uber for the friend and that was
the end of it.

Speaker 5 (49:50):
So they thought a.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Few moments later, the cops got a call about the
same friend. She ended up going back to the g
She drove it to the police station. Why to bail
out her homie. The only thing is she's drunk too.
Here's a little how that went.

Speaker 4 (50:12):
I'm not meaning to do anything wrong.

Speaker 6 (50:14):
I'm a wall I just talked to You're really drunk
when I talked to you, you know, a couple hours later.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
I don't say I know.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
She was also arrested throwing the failed jail. Now both
schools are gonna be looking for new principles.

Speaker 5 (50:30):
I mean, what a good friend. Though, Let's see he tried.

Speaker 2 (50:33):
Uh here, this is my favorite story of the week.

Speaker 15 (50:35):
Man.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
This one's about this fifty three year old guy in Florida.
He was on his way he had to go take
a court ordered drug test. On the way there, he
gets pulled over for speeding, which you know, all right,
it sucks, but you know it should be too much
of an issue. People get pulled over for speeding all
the time. A couple of problems. Number one, his license
was already suspended. Oh so that's a problem number one.

(50:57):
Problem Number two, he had something else on it, or
should I say strap to him a fake penis with
a bladder full of borrowed p and he had been
planning to use for this drug test. Hell yeah, try
which he then tried to ditch before the officers saw it,
but they did see it. Here's a clip from the

(51:19):
officer's body cam.

Speaker 15 (51:20):
What is this?

Speaker 9 (51:21):
What is this stuff?

Speaker 1 (51:22):
What is it? What is this?

Speaker 5 (51:24):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (51:24):
I don't see what is this?

Speaker 3 (51:26):
I don't know what that is?

Speaker 1 (51:27):
James, I have you want video pulling out a pea
bag and a goddamn dildo.

Speaker 5 (51:32):
I asked you if you have anything on your person?
Okay you did, and you're lying to me.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
Dude, Bro, what what is it?

Speaker 2 (51:43):
What? What is what?

Speaker 1 (51:44):
What is this? What do you mean this? Yeah?

Speaker 17 (51:47):
What is this?

Speaker 1 (51:48):
What is this stuff? What is this?

Speaker 5 (51:51):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (51:51):
I don't see what is this? I don't know what
that is? James, I have you want video pulling out
a pea bag and goddamn dildo?

Speaker 2 (52:00):
If you have anything on your person? Okay you did, and.

Speaker 5 (52:03):
You goddamn.

Speaker 7 (52:09):
Want.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
I shared with you, guys, I did that for a friend,
but for a job. I've also done that for a
friend on probation.

Speaker 9 (52:17):
Yea, what is the receptacle? Do you give it to
them in a bag or a cup.

Speaker 16 (52:22):
I actually met this person in the bathroom at the
same time. I kind of, you know, pretend, you know,
pretended I was just in there randomly, and then I
was able to kind of like slide it over to
where he was going.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
The probation officer.

Speaker 16 (52:35):
The probation officer officer supposed to be in there watching you,
but he was lazy and he just stayed outside of
the you.

Speaker 5 (52:42):
Know, damn this guy. I know, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
I went into like a Walgreen CBS type place. I'm like,
where we get a bag. So we bought like these
baby you know those little plastic bags that go in
baby bottles. Oh yeah, I bought some liners and then
I went into those and then we like tied some
rubber bands on it.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
I thought they had a good idea, like for that
kind of thing, not going for like a year analysis
for your physical or something. I thought for those court
ordered ones.

Speaker 5 (53:10):
They took him in.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
Right away, and wasn't there like an immediate uh test
of like the temperature of it. Because they knew people
were bringing in and that was one of the ways
that they were trying to figure out if someone's trying
to cheat it.

Speaker 16 (53:22):
Yeah, no, for sure they do that, but I mean
somewhere lazy. Like I said, in my case, I got
lucky because this guy was really lazy and he told
me like, this guy never goes in and watches me.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
It's like when you see in movies, Greg, where the
cop they bust somebody and they had like a bag
of cocaine. They test it like you imagine, like the
guy's got to collect the urine gums and then he
gives you that look on Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 5 (53:45):
Yeah, this is cool. This is Barron peak.

Speaker 9 (53:47):
That's your dream job. You could be a parole officer
and just watch a wier p dude.

Speaker 1 (53:51):
Yeah, so many wieners. It'd be hilarious.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
That's the funniest job ever.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
I could call you like dude the wiener I saw today. Yeah,
let's talk about it. Greg is one of the smartest
people I know.

Speaker 5 (54:04):
And certain things, one of the dumbest people I know.

Speaker 9 (54:07):
Really dumb?

Speaker 1 (54:08):
Am I going crazy?

Speaker 12 (54:09):
Am I dumb?

Speaker 2 (54:11):
I don't have that other side like you where you're
really smart to generous. The Woodie Show, Jesus.

Speaker 7 (54:22):
Greg, who that's my big idea for right, I have
the best idea, guys. Sarcast Okay, hey, anybody got any ideas?

Speaker 5 (54:42):
Yes, I do, sarcasm.

Speaker 7 (54:44):
Let's be sarcastic, really must.

Speaker 9 (54:54):
Oh god, I cried sweating. Okay, all right, what you doing?

Speaker 1 (55:00):
Well?

Speaker 2 (55:01):
I have another Woody Show original trademark game and we
we played this recently and I'm bringing it back because
we had such a good time with it. I'm gonna
play you a clip. You just gotta tell me. Is
it a chick or a gay dude?

Speaker 9 (55:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Easy, easy game, easy game, right, Craig, You're right, pretty easy?

Speaker 10 (55:21):
Yeah, all right, I think it's all right.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
So this person came out of their apartment after a
water main break happened. And my question to you, is
this a chick or a gay dude in this clip?

Speaker 1 (55:35):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
I'm coming down to save my leather shoes. I slipped
and I failed. I kept walking up the street and
there was guysers and guysers.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
Okay, so as they came down with their helium voice.

Speaker 5 (55:50):
Huh, you know water shoes.

Speaker 3 (55:52):
I mean coming down to save my leather shoes.

Speaker 2 (55:56):
Save the leather shoes, yep, saving leather shoes.

Speaker 3 (56:00):
I slipped and I failed. I kept poking up the
street and there was guysers and guysers and geysers.

Speaker 5 (56:06):
Oh is that a chick or a gay dude? Damn chick, chick, chick.
I'm going dude, I'm going gay dude.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
Gay dude, gay dude, Sammy chick. Jeff, you already know
the answer to this one room split. Uh this is
a gay dude.

Speaker 1 (56:29):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
This is in North Hollywood, California, No Hope, water main
break and uh yeah. This guy came out to talk
to the news about I'm.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
Coming down to save my leather shoes. I slipped and
I failed. I kept poking up the street and there
was guysers and guysers.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
Are sure that's not West?

Speaker 5 (56:49):
What have we have You ever described your shoes as
your leather shoes specifically shoes. Wow, that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
Weird crime story in the news. This guy in Maryland,
he was at a pet store and he was looking
to bring a new animal home with him and he
noticed this cute little kitten, Magnolia, just sitting there guys,
waiting to be adopted. It's a cat. So you'd think
he would just like, you know, move on. You would
think you would think, but no, no, he wanted this cat,

(57:23):
and so when no one was looking, he walked out
of the store. A few minutes later, the cops were
called on this guy because he took Magnolia to the
bank next door and attempted to rob the place.

Speaker 5 (57:33):
With his cat partner in crime.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
With his cat.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
Partner in crime, foe the old shirt, black beanie, an
old colored paint, possibly has a cat.

Speaker 11 (57:44):
Little sod, right, Greg, so stupid.

Speaker 2 (57:55):
Yeah. At the time, the store employees noticed Magnolia was
going on and that a bunch of cops had showed up,
but did take them a minute to realize that what
happened and here they are on the news.

Speaker 17 (58:06):
Immediately saw all of these police cars and I thought, wow,
that's a heck of a response for a stolen cat.
But then I realized they all were going down to
the bank. They came back out a little a few
minutes later and said, yes, there is a cat inside
the bank.

Speaker 2 (58:19):
Now that's a woman. A woman and kind of sounds
like the gay.

Speaker 5 (58:24):
Dude with his down to save my leather set.

Speaker 2 (58:29):
Right, so very very kind of like high pitched.

Speaker 17 (58:32):
And then immediately saw all of these police cars. Wow,
And I thought, wow, that's a heck of a response.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
And one is a chicken. One is you know, gay
did what I'm saying?

Speaker 11 (58:41):
Gray.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
It's a fun game. Yeah, it's a fun game, and
we are looking for your best jokes. We got a
round of dad jokes coming up next. So if you
got a good dad joke for us, you know, the simple,
fun kind, please something that we can actually say on
the air. The FCC won't get all crazy on us

(59:08):
for eight seven. That's eight seven, seven forty four. Woodie,
give us a call and then share your dad joke.
You can also send us a text, so you can
do that over to two to nine, eight seven. Show
your dad joke that way. No, I mean it's like
I thought, it was a good idea.

Speaker 7 (59:26):
Oh that's my big idea for.

Speaker 5 (59:30):
What dad jokes? I just said we were doing dad jokes.
He puts the G in Garcia.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
So call sports with Chef Garcy Man what you got into.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
Sports at least to be in this happy Friday everybody.
Let's start with baseball.

Speaker 16 (59:46):

they announced a couple of dope giveaways in the last
couple of days. September third Laker Night which includes a
fire Lakers T shirt and then Menace. I don't know
if you saw this Man of September two, twenty fourth

bubble heads.

Speaker 9 (01:00:04):
I've better scene.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Yeah, it's sick. Yeah, it's like Godzilla. Yeah, and it
has like a bat in its mouth. It's really well done.
And don't forget next week right here on the Woody Show.

Speaker 16 (01:00:13):

Speaker 16 (01:01:03):
Said on a podcast with Tyreee Halliburton that he might
decide on his next team quote soon. I won't hold
you guys up too much longer. That was exactly my sentiment.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
It's like every time. But the thing is like every
time is if everybody's waiting around with baited bread, who
cares he.

Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
Drags us out long enough? Man, I'm Jeff G and
that's your so cal sports Jeff.

Speaker 5 (01:01:25):
In a time of luxury.

Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Why wouldn't you use it nostalgia?

Speaker 5 (01:01:29):
I need to do it's the show, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
For a guy who has reluctantly participated in our dad
jokes segment for years, Sea Bass lays the mouth theory
once in a while. He just did it on yesterday's show.
We pointed it out, like you're not above the dad
jokes the way that you pretend you are.

Speaker 10 (01:01:55):
I think you see like I think you guys still
don't understand what they are and they're terrible. Yeah, okay,
at least at least genus acknowledging. They are just puns
that were a few years ago where rebranded. We never
realized that, No, you didn't, you know, you didn't. You
followed the stupid herd. And when everyone started calling them
dad jokes saying oh, we love these things now, and

(01:02:17):
when they've been around for a hundred years, you guys
are like, well, us dummies are on board too, but
what but they're still fun to do when they're off
the cuff and impromptu. But it was the same stupid
one that you've heard about a bumblebee. Great, don't don't
play dumb. Don't play dumb and playing dumb?

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
Yes you are, yes you are, okay, but let's just
say this. Are you on drugs? I didn't bring it up.
Let's just say they are rebranded. What's wrong with rebranding.

Speaker 10 (01:02:44):
Because that people are like pretending that all of a sudden,
like this awesome thing when you didn't care about them
two seconds before the rebrand they're fun.

Speaker 9 (01:02:50):
I did say they were awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
It was fun.

Speaker 10 (01:02:52):
You didn't shut the excite segment down.

Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
I didn't.

Speaker 9 (01:02:55):

Hey?

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
Did you hear about the woman who gave up her
seat on the bus to a blind person? That's how
she lost her job driving the bus? You might have
thought you might have heard of that? What of the

Speaker 5 (01:09:32):

(01:10:26):
Dolly Parton with a chest cold because her chest so big.

Speaker 9 (01:10:30):
Big.

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Yeah, but they're both big. You're you're not getting getting

Tell us one that you are getting.

Speaker 1 (01:10:38):

a band stand? How take away their chairs?

Speaker 7 (01:10:55):
That's my big idea for.

Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
Greg likes that one.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
Yeah, he loves bands.

Speaker 5 (01:11:03):
That's that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (01:11:05):

Speaker 1 (01:11:17):

to the Woody Show.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
That was questionable decision.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
On their on their on their but hey, congratulations on
getting on the air.

Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
It's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
It's cool.

Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
I was always psyched when I.

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Got on the air as a kid. Oh yeah, yeah,
all right, there's your there's your Friday dad jerks. We're
gonna take a quick break. Oh well yeah, here one
more from the text. What do you call karate for amputees?

Speaker 5 (01:12:13):
What partial arts?

Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
That's good.

Speaker 9 (01:12:17):
They were not what I thought they were.

Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
I thought the only.

Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Purpose the Woody Show.

Speaker 9 (01:12:23):
Was to make the outside world disappear.

Speaker 12 (01:12:28):
Show.

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
I said a couple, uh, a couple of things that
wanted to bring up people doing to make a couple
of extra bucks. Where's Morgan?

Speaker 1 (01:12:37):
Bring Morgan in real quick?

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Morgan's always doing different things.

Speaker 5 (01:12:40):
She was collecting bottles, cans.

Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
To go, you know, bring in and think things things.

Speaker 9 (01:12:45):
Like that was short lived.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Well, I mean, she said she was still like collecting
the bottles and cans and stuff. Oh no, but but
like the last time we checked in on you, you
were you You still had a bunch of those. But
it's been a while, but yeah, you gave up.

Speaker 9 (01:12:58):
Are you still doing the receipt Oh heck, yes you are.

Speaker 4 (01:13:01):
I just got this morning ten dollars from Amazon.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Oh yeah, okay, there you go. We had the story
about people that were selling the trash from outside Madison
Square Garden for the Taylor Swift thing. Yeah, I mean,
you do what you gotta do, whatever the people will buy.
I guess, well, there is a soccer influencer on TikTok
sure who was selling trash he picked up at the

(01:13:28):
World Cup. So he was going around to you know,
the World Cup stadiums, collecting the drinking cups and then
flip them online, okay for a for a profit. Here,
how many cops could I collect before? By the way, geez,
you didn't want to us involving a fun accent, whiplash
involving a fun accent?

Speaker 6 (01:13:45):
How many cops could I collect before leaving the stadium?
After just a few minutes, I was quickly building a
tar of cups. But now it was time to head
inside the stadium, where there were still cops absolutely everywhere.
It was finally time to cute them and see how
much money they could have meet because these cups could
be worth two three hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
Wow, oh, three hundred bucks. But I guess if it's
a branded you know, one of those souvenir cups that
you get where they sell you a soda for forty bucks,
maybe to keep the cup and shocks.

Speaker 5 (01:14:13):
So many people left their cups.

Speaker 4 (01:14:14):
You know, it's embarrassing. When I went to the White
House Freedom to fifty event, I brought the cups home.
I get plastic cups that I bought.

Speaker 2 (01:14:21):
Was that embarrassing you bought them? Well, yeah, it's supposed
to be.

Speaker 4 (01:14:24):
A supernir right to throw them away.

Speaker 2 (01:14:25):
No, I thought of the souvenir cup.

Speaker 4 (01:14:27):
Everyone was throwing away.

Speaker 9 (01:14:28):
A hard plastic cup.

Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
You wouldn't put it in the disk they're giving away
at McDonald's, right.

Speaker 10 (01:14:34):
Yeah, but people do that with the White House. They've
been doing that for decades. Like they'll take the little
napkin because it has his White House on it.

Speaker 5 (01:14:40):
That's not the part of that.

Speaker 9 (01:14:41):
Yeah, don't be embarrassed.

Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
In Russia, there's a thing where, you know, these are
popping up on these classified ad sites there in Russia.
Women are selling their used breast implants online. WHOA Plastic
surgeons say the breast augmentation has fallen out of favor
in Russia, such surgery dropping about forty percent over the
past ten years. I have heard more about you know

(01:15:06):
explants yep, Yeah, like taking them out seems to be
more popular than putting them in.

Speaker 5 (01:15:12):
Less filler, less boob implants.

Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
And by the way, though, this is to save money
because you know, people are like, oh, well if I
get these used ones, but who's going to implant them?
That's the thing, because there's like they're like, hey man,
it doesn't it doesn't happen very often. We're gonna get
like a reputable surgeon in Russia, like I'm imagining a
most other places, you're not going to find them one
at all.

Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
But just.

Speaker 2 (01:15:34):
No reputable surgeon would use a secondhand implant, you know,
byob Well.

Speaker 8 (01:15:39):
I didn't realize that the implant itself was that expensive.

Speaker 5 (01:15:42):
Well I thought it was for like weird dudes to well, no,
I mean they are selling them number one.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
But the people then who are then turning around buying
them saying, okay, well it's cheaper because they're saying all
of this is tied to Russia's economic troubles, weak currency falling,
buying power, fuel shortages, all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 10 (01:15:58):
You guys, if they're giving you medical waste, then the
standards ethical standards aren't that high to begin with.

Speaker 7 (01:16:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:16:04):
True, every time I've been around any kind of we
have on. One guy get some fat stucked out and
they would not give me the fat because it was
quote medical.

Speaker 2 (01:16:12):
All you got to do was hand me the container. Well,
menace got to keep. But they took the rock out
of his penis. Yeah, that was cool stone. It was
like a rattle that he couldn't pass just by pean
and out. They had to go in there, and.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
Yeah, it was a little bit shaker.

Speaker 5 (01:16:29):
I kind of get it because last time I was
in Kansas visiting my mom, I had something taken out
of my ear, like a bone spur, and as a joke,
he asked me if I wanted it. I said no,
my Mom's like I'll take it teeth.

Speaker 2 (01:16:41):
So with all these things that people are doing for
extra money or you know, just to get by make
ends meet, you're gonna love this.

Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
Greg.

Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
This is NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Junior. He was
shooting his mouth off on a podcast about how NFL
contracts really work.

Speaker 22 (01:16:57):
Okay, always explaining to people like, bro, you give some
five year, one hundred million dollar contract, right, what is it?

Speaker 9 (01:17:02):
Really?

Speaker 2 (01:17:02):
It's five years for sixty you're getting text?

Speaker 9 (01:17:05):
Do the math?

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
That's twelve a year.

Speaker 22 (01:17:07):
You know that you have to spend yous save invest
flaun like whatever. However, just being real, I'm a buy
a car, I'm get my mama house, I'm gonna do
everything costs money. If you spending four million dollars a year,
that's really forty.

Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
Million over five years, eight a year, you know, and
now you.

Speaker 22 (01:17:25):
Start breaking down the numbers, it's like that's a five
year span where you're getting eight mien. And you always
hear the people who ain't us and ain't been in
the position like, oh well that would last life yet.
But we weren't talking about no financial literacy.

Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
Yeah, so he's saying, yo, man, it's not what you think.
It's not really a lot.

Speaker 7 (01:17:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:17:42):
First off, yeah you were they sit you down. Yeah,
they probably do it in college now because they're getting
making seven figures.

Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
It's also not where you came from, Like he didn't
come from a super wealthy family.

Speaker 9 (01:17:51):
So therefore spend eight million a year.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
Yeah, it's not like, oh well, I'm just accustomed to
this lifestyle that I've had my entire life, right right,
you know, like Kate Middleton and you know, and Andrew
Prince William.

Speaker 5 (01:18:09):
I know you guys, were going to get there eventually.

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
Yeah, like if you if you grew up in the
royal family. I grew up a you know, a Kardashian
or whatever.

Speaker 10 (01:18:18):
That's my custom. But literally every every major sports league
does this, and every player's union mandates it. So he's
just lying that he wasn't given in financial literacy training.
That's that's a lie.

Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
You're a liar, sir, and being He says, it's exhausting
hearing athletes break down how there're millions, quote, aren't really
millions after taxes and fees. Dude, forty million after taxes
is still forty million. The real issue isn't the system,
it's the lifestyle. Nobody told you to live like a king,
buy five cars or move in with a ten person entourage.

Speaker 10 (01:18:51):
And we could always point to the example of Rob Gronkowski. Yeah,
who got his original contract for whatever four million. He said,
I know I'm going to lose half of that in
taxes and agents fees, lived with a roommate for the
first couple years in the league, right, because he said, well,
at least I have he's talked about this podcasts. He said,
at least if I have two million, that'll that'll hold
be above but keep my head above water.

Speaker 2 (01:19:11):
For years.

Speaker 8 (01:19:11):
Yeah, he lived off of his endorsement money. So that's
why he was always in the tide Pod commercials at
other stuff. It was endorsement money that he lived off of.
He didn't spend his salary, not.

Speaker 5 (01:19:21):
To be mean, but I didn't expect that from him.

Speaker 10 (01:19:26):
Somehow he figured it out.

Speaker 2 (01:19:27):
J Leto didn't spend any of his Tonight's.

Speaker 5 (01:19:29):
Show salary, just did stand up money.

Speaker 2 (01:19:31):
Yeah, put the rest in cars. Yeah, good for his
Dorito's money then he do yeah, yeah, eight seven seven
forty four. What he is? The number to call if
you want to play our dumb ass contest, it's the
d u i Q and it's coming up next.

Speaker 5 (01:19:51):
Oh that's love.

Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
And time for today's dumbass contest. Today's time ask contest.
It's Friday, so of course it's the du like q.

Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Duiq.

Speaker 5 (01:20:08):
Do you ask explaining the game to everybody?

Speaker 9 (01:20:10):
Please?

Speaker 10 (01:20:10):
I asked a mega drunk person, mega easy trivia questions,
So then the game is not to answer the good
questions everyone Like. The second you're here it you'd be like, oh,
I know that the game is.

Speaker 5 (01:20:19):
Because you're not an idot. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
You're not a drunk and fool.

Speaker 10 (01:20:23):
The game is, though, can you guess whether the drunk
person gets the answer correct? If you can do that
two times out of three, you win? All right?

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):

Lizzie McGuire?

Speaker 10 (01:28:30):
That's a Sometimes I do games for Sammy.

Speaker 1 (01:28:32):
And that's certainly one of these.

Speaker 5 (01:28:33):
He's writing furiously.

Speaker 9 (01:28:35):
Okay, so yes Lizzie McGuire.

Speaker 2 (01:28:39):

Speaker 14 (01:29:15):
Who starred as Lizzie McGuire, Who started Lizzie McGuire, Sammy,
Hillary Duff, Hilary Duff.

Speaker 1 (01:29:24):
The answer.

Speaker 9 (01:29:25):
I thought it was the one who got the tattoo
harder in her face.

Speaker 5 (01:29:30):
She was nickel.

Speaker 7 (01:29:35):
Hillary.

Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
Her music is coming back. And then also she has
another Tivy show coming out and she was part of
that mom drama. Yes, actually Tisdale.

Speaker 8 (01:29:49):
And the actually Tisdale was hanging out with her estranged
sister Haley.

Speaker 5 (01:29:52):
And that was tell me something I know, tells me

All right, let's see question number three, d u i Q.
Hold on one second, A sorry, stand by my bad.
Question number three.

Speaker 14 (01:30:13):
Who starred as Lizzie McGuire, Hold.

Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
Up, don't notice?

Speaker 5 (01:30:18):
Hold on?

Speaker 7 (01:30:19):
Hold up?

Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Is correct? Okay?

Speaker 5 (01:30:27):
Ye love her?

Speaker 2 (01:30:31):
Alright, Wow, Okay, that's how you play the That's how
you play the d u I.

Speaker 21 (01:30:36):
You give me a bone robin like you've been. I'm
already a legend back in the days in the foods.
How you like me now, I've dropped moms.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
When you see me, please at my hands.

Speaker 21 (01:30:57):
I know I got stealed, man, I know I got Yeah,
come on, dude.

Speaker 5 (01:31:08):
Shows next, hang on.

Speaker 2 (01:31:09):
Strong enough for a man, made for a woman. Menace
has been a supporter of using women's de utorant as
long as I've known him. Uses women's the odor.

Speaker 14 (01:31:20):
Yeah, like men's theor is like sticky the Woody Show.

Speaker 5 (01:31:26):
All right, welcome back. This is a good idea.

Speaker 1 (01:31:30):
I want to I want to do this with my kids.

Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
Jeff g just did something with his kids, sent them
to the grocery store and he gave him a list
and some cash and told me how to come back
with every item on the list. And they couldn't go
over the hundred bucks that he gave them.

Speaker 1 (01:31:48):
Teaching budgeting.

Speaker 5 (01:31:50):
Yeah, how to go?

Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Did they did? They do it?

Speaker 16 (01:31:51):
They did it, and they did pretty well. They actually
came back with like four bucks too. Yeah, so they
did really well.

Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
Like because man, they eat out of house and home.

Speaker 16 (01:32:00):
Man, there you have teenagers playing basketball all day long,
and like the second you stock something, it's gone.

Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
Like you blink and it's over.

Speaker 2 (01:32:07):
Yeah, So you got to teach them, like, hey, man,
like I my my kids ask me for things every
once in a while and I'll cave because I'm a
cool dad, and I'll buy it and they'll take three
SIPs out of whatever, the three dollars can of whatever
they want to. You know, it's big with the girls.
Now there's a Lonnie. Those those energy drinks, a little
skinny can, Yeah, a Lonnie. Yeah, they're like three something.

Speaker 7 (01:32:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:32:32):
I wanted to buy one of those quote healthy sodas
the other day. Yeah, they're like one can is like
two fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
So again, cool dad bought her a couple of cans.
And then I came in and it's absolutely been sitting
on the counter forever because it's warm, and there's been
three SIPs taken out of it, and I go, oh,
what am I doing? They have no no thought about
how much this costs or whatever. So that's a good idea.

Speaker 16 (01:32:58):
I like that, yeah, because I mean we would make
stuff at the beginning of the week, or make stuff daily,
and then the leftovers would just sit there and sit
there and sit there, and then they'd waste it all
and then we end up throwing away all that food,
which you know you get costly.

Speaker 2 (01:33:09):
After that, did they get to keep the four bucks
you make them?

Speaker 1 (01:33:13):
They kept the four bucks?

Speaker 16 (01:33:14):
No, they kept the four bucks, and they've been better
this week. I think a little light bulb may have turned.

Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
On, you know, but that'd be I could get another
wrinkle to the challenge. You can give them the hundred
bucks and you say you get to keep whatever you say,
but you have to get all the items on the list.

Speaker 15 (01:33:26):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
Ah, that's good, you know.

Speaker 9 (01:33:28):
So it teaches them that, like the brand doesn't necessarily matter. Correct,
that was the way they hustled.

Speaker 16 (01:33:33):
There's a lot of store brand stuff that they brought home,
like oh, we don't need, you know, two packs of Oreos,
Like I'm okay with one pack of OO or whatever,
or yeah, hyrocks are the.

Speaker 2 (01:33:42):
Generic bag exactly. Speaking of the story, this reminded me
of a story that I wanted Morgan to tell about
the new girl at your gym. Oh yeah, this is good.

Speaker 4 (01:33:55):
Last night, our class is ending, We're wiping down on everything,
and I hear this girl say hey more again, and
I'm like, that's weird. I don't have like a buddy
in this class. I turn around and it's this like
fairly new girl, like within a month. She's like, have
you been to a deli counter recently?

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
And I was like, oh god, you've never talked about it,
like what you do name?

Speaker 4 (01:34:14):
Oh no even had a conversation with her. I'm like,
oh god, that's your first impression of me, like the
deli counter. No, Like she tuned in and that is
the first segment she.

Speaker 5 (01:34:24):
Heard of this.

Speaker 1 (01:34:28):
Support.

Speaker 4 (01:34:29):
I think she's real creeped out by me. Like, I
don't think she was like, oh it was really good
and funny. I think she's like, that was weird.

Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
Well, it's not you did it and got caught by
the cops or what. This is a bit that you
did for your.

Speaker 4 (01:34:41):
Job, of course, But I think it's surprising when people
in our outside lives realize, oh, that's what you do
for work.

Speaker 5 (01:34:46):
Yeah, that's what pays the building.

Speaker 2 (01:34:49):
So yeah, Morgan went to the grocery store deli counter
for a round of morgasms.

Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
Okay, what would you like?

Speaker 4 (01:34:55):
I'm not really sure yet. I just know that I
like gross beef. Can I try a sample?

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
What you want?

Speaker 4 (01:35:02):
Can I try the low sodium one?

Speaker 5 (01:35:05):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:35:05):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:35:16):
And that's her first impression. Yeah, so making friends friends,
I'm sure four Woode text us over to two two
nine eight seven.

Speaker 6 (01:35:27):
Show show.

Speaker 5 (01:35:33):
I haven't had.

Speaker 2 (01:35:34):
Any uh any recent drama in the neighborhood. I mean
you live in the same neighborhood, admit any drama down
now where you are? No, what about you, Greg, You
obvious seem to have like some of that. I mean
not with you in particular, but I mean you then. Yeah,
nothing like the h A, no goofy bound anything out
of the ordinary. Yeah. I luckily I appreciate the idea

(01:35:59):
of what the HOA trying to accomplish.

Speaker 9 (01:36:01):
There's times I wish they were more strict.

Speaker 2 (01:36:06):
Like with the neighbors trash cans left out all the time. Yeah,
but man, man do I hate like when you know
it's something really stupid. There was a there was a
neighbor of mine not that long ago that got a
note from the HOA. And I want to know who
reported them, because it's not like it's not like the
people because it's a company.

Speaker 5 (01:36:23):
Yeah, they're not driving around looking for trouble, correct.

Speaker 2 (01:36:26):
It just means that somebody reported them and it was
because they changed up one little spot not even the
whole thing. One little spot of landscaping in the front
of the house.

Speaker 5 (01:36:35):
I'd be there.

Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
Used to be like a little tree that grew into
a bigger tree, and so it got to be just
too big. It was too close to the house, and
so the neighbor removed it and they put something like
a shrub or something there, and the homeowners Association sent
them a note saying, well, did you get disapproved?

Speaker 10 (01:36:52):
Oh my god, Like, well, it was it was too
close to the house.

Speaker 2 (01:36:59):
It could cause you know, damage to the foundation.

Speaker 1 (01:37:03):
My president of the ash Way, he's always patrolling the neighborhood,
but there's stuff that he lets go. And I guarantee
you that some of his friends.

Speaker 5 (01:37:11):
Yeah, oh, there was a there was a neighbor. You
would hate this.

Speaker 2 (01:37:14):
Greg. It bothered me. I never said anything about it,
but I'm like, oh, come on, man, where the neighbor
has some work going on in the house. So there's
contractors who have, like there's a like a flatbed trailer
that's been parked in their driveway for months as this
work's been going on. And so there's always you know,
some stuff out there, some you know boards or scrap

(01:37:37):
wood that's like on the driveway next to the flatbed thing,
which that doesn't bother me. But just because you're doing
work at or you know inside outside what you're doing
work at your house doesn't mean you can't cut the grass.
So the front lawn was just growing and growing and growing,
and they weren't doing anything, and somebody said something to
them and they were, well, we have work being done,

(01:37:58):
well not your front. Yeah, it just looks because you
have the trailer is one thing, and people might bitch
about that, which I didn't care necessarily about that. I
don't care about that, even though it's been months. But
the grass looking crazy with the because they if you
ignore it for a while, it's not just really tall,
nice luscious green grass, weeds and everything else coming up,
so just look super trashy.

Speaker 5 (01:38:18):
Greg, I have a question for you. I have a
girlfriend who actually is on the board of her h
AA and I think this is adorable and cute and whimsical.
She said, absolutely not as an HA person. Somebody reported
a neighbor who had a big tree in their backyard
and they decided to hang like an outdoor chandelier like
for their like table and chairs and looked really pretty,

(01:38:39):
but it's against the rule that.

Speaker 9 (01:38:41):
Look, no, I'm not too opposed to that. It's in
their backyard.

Speaker 2 (01:38:47):
Backyard, oh backyard, Okay, you could see it. Apparently there's
some HOA drama going on in Florida. This woman, I
guess her dad died. She inherited his house. It's a
house in a retirement community, like one of those fifty
five plus.

Speaker 1 (01:39:07):
Say okay, I'm super old. Yeah, how's that work?

Speaker 4 (01:39:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:39:10):
How would that work?

Speaker 2 (01:39:10):
So she's being sued by the HOA because she's not
old enough to live there.

Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:39:15):
Right, it's exclusively for residents fifty five and over. And
she thinks that's a BS because her father left her
the house. Here she is talking about it.

Speaker 10 (01:39:24):
His biggest concern was that his dying wish would not
be armored a disabled veteran.

Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
All he wanted to leave was his house to his daughter.

Speaker 4 (01:39:31):
Every adjustment we made, it's so sentimental.

Speaker 15 (01:39:34):
I sleep with the same pillow in the same bed
that he did every day.

Speaker 2 (01:39:38):
Stop throwing the other stuff in there, like, oh he's
a veteran, Like oh, his dying wish was like, dude,
that stop it with that stick.

Speaker 1 (01:39:45):
I got this house.

Speaker 5 (01:39:46):
Yeah, what do I do I'm shocked that would even
be allowed.

Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
It got a little messier because the HOA is now
forcing the other one hundred and fifty five residents of
this community to pay for the lawsuit. So each homeowner, oh,
I'd be so bad. Each homeowner has been given a
bill for a special assessment fee of one thousand dollars
to fight the lawsuit. Dumb, right, And guess who else

(01:40:11):
got that bill? The chick they're suing to sue herself.

Speaker 5 (01:40:17):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (01:40:19):
How how dumb is that the other residents not psyched.

Speaker 5 (01:40:22):
I don't think that we should have to pay.

Speaker 1 (01:40:24):
I mean, I can't afford one thousand dollars, and a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:40:27):
Of people around here, like are on a fixed income.

Speaker 2 (01:40:30):
Spend it all in cocaine and and whores.

Speaker 9 (01:40:33):
What if you live in one of those fifty five
plus communities but you have a young hot side piece,
can she come over?

Speaker 7 (01:40:38):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (01:40:39):
They can. Yeah, if the husband is sixty and the
wife is forty, she can live there.

Speaker 2 (01:40:43):
Here's the thing. My my mom and my stepdad live
in one of these communities, and some of some of
the people who live there have their adult children who
still live with them. You know, for whatever reason, but
you can't live there with little kids, right. I think
there's there's there's a rule with in there within that, uh,
one of the primary residents meaning you, the husband or

(01:41:04):
the wife or the husband or the husband or the
wife or the wife has to be over fifty five,
but their spouse can be younger. Yeah, but what you
can have is you can't have a couple who neither
one of them is over fifty five with a young family,
because the whole point is we don't want kids tearing
around the neighborhood. And but we don't want that stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:41:26):
There are some that are super hardcore and they can't
be there longer than thirty days, yes, yeah, yeah, kids
or just a couple of nights or something. Yeah, even
if they walk around the neighborhood, they get harassed. My
buddy I was visiting his mom for like a couple
of weeks, and they like they started going up to him,
like in the neighborhood like, what are you doing here?

Speaker 9 (01:41:47):
Yeah, get out of here, you're too young.

Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:41:50):
I mean part of it sounds like I understand, I
get the desire.

Speaker 5 (01:41:53):
That's why you move there.

Speaker 2 (01:41:55):
Right, Yeah, But at the same time, like because you
get an incredible deal.

Speaker 1 (01:42:00):
The houses. Yeah, when I uh got my house, the
community next door, it's a it's like, uh, like one
of these places that we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:42:11):
And the houses with town houses are they single family.

Speaker 1 (01:42:13):
Her single family homes there were like two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars cheaper.

Speaker 5 (01:42:18):
Why I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:42:20):
Yeah, they're made from the same material.

Speaker 8 (01:42:22):
Why they exist though, Like that's why these fifty five
and over communities exist and why people move to them
because they are so much cheaper.

Speaker 2 (01:42:29):
I can tell you my my parents place wasn't cheaper
by any stretch.

Speaker 1 (01:42:32):
Of the imagination.

Speaker 2 (01:42:32):
It was only because it's like for people that are
in your same you know, age bracket, Yeah, phase of life,
and you don't want to deal with all the other man.

Speaker 1 (01:42:40):
There's ones where you get like major deals.

Speaker 9 (01:42:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:42:43):
Well, in the meantime, the HOA is not letting this
woman use any of the community manity. So she can't
use the pool, she can't use the jacuzzi, the gym.

Speaker 5 (01:42:51):
But she's paying.

Speaker 2 (01:42:52):
Yeah, but she's making the HOA payments.

Speaker 5 (01:42:54):
That's so creaty. But I mean, at the end of
the day, I'm shocked that he was able to leave
something to somebody who's.

Speaker 2 (01:43:01):
Well, he can he can't leave it, but she can't
live in it. But you mean she has to sell it,
so she has to flip it, or maybe she can
rent it.

Speaker 5 (01:43:10):
She loves the bed so much, because that's what she
kept talking about, take the bed with you.

Speaker 2 (01:43:13):
Although there are hoas, there was one they were trying
to get this done in a subdivision that I lived
in at one point years ago, where they were trying
to get it passed so there would be a law
in the hoa by rules or whatever that you can't
rent your house. Oh probably like you would have to

(01:43:34):
sell your house, like you no rent, They didn't want renters.
And then things got pretty heated because the reason they
were doing this is because there was one neighbor in
the subdivision who was going to rent their house and
there was a black family looking at it, and there
are people on the board who didn't want a black family.

(01:43:55):
This is like this is like twenty twelve, who didn't
want to black family moving in, and so they rush
to try to change it. And then the rest of
the neighbors figured out what was going on, and then
we all like, no, not to mention. Let's say you
run into something where it's like you have to relocate
for your job, but you can't sell the house in

(01:44:15):
the market currently in the condition of you know, that
would be a financial break even for you, even so
you decide to hold on to it and rent it
out until the market recovers it. You're forcing someone to
sell something at a loss because like you don't want renters.

Speaker 5 (01:44:30):
Living there, so we can rent our houses.

Speaker 2 (01:44:32):
No, this has no nothing where we're living right now. No,
this like I said, this is twenty twelve, this is it, okay,
years ago, just checking.

Speaker 9 (01:44:39):
Yeah, my latest problem with the HOA is not so
much drama but inaptitude. Where I'm up early in the morning,
no matter what day of the week it is. And
I noticed that the sprinklers upfront are damaged, so when
they come on, it's just flooding the street, just going
down the drain. And they said to us at the
latest meeting.

Speaker 5 (01:45:00):
The utility bills are really high.

Speaker 9 (01:45:01):
They've gone up so much, so we have to increase
the HIA dues. And I said, I told you guys,
the sprinklers are broken. No wonder the water bills are
through the roof. Well, we don't know what else to
do other than raise.

Speaker 2 (01:45:14):
Company more sprinkler.

Speaker 9 (01:45:16):
And then they had if only that could be done,
And then they had to do the whole vote of
whether we should raise the hoadws or not. And guess
who's the only one who voted no?

Speaker 5 (01:45:24):
Me, I'm sorry to say, is you're gonna have to
just take over the ha.

Speaker 9 (01:45:27):
I probably should.

Speaker 2 (01:45:28):
You're the only one who voted no.

Speaker 9 (01:45:30):
Only one they always everybody else is just addicted to
raising the has. Yeah, you don't want to be underfunded,
you don't want to be underfunded, Well, then just raise
them to five million.

Speaker 2 (01:45:40):
A day eight seven four. Wooding text us over to
two two nine eighty seven. Somebody in the text said
the younger spouse has to be forty five plus. Really,
so one has to be over fifty five In those
fifty five plus communities, one has to be at least
fifty five. The other one has to be at least
forty five.

Speaker 9 (01:45:58):
So I need to wait to get one of them.

Speaker 1 (01:46:01):
Yeah, so no barely legal brides.

Speaker 2 (01:46:03):
Fellow man, move it into the hot But if you're
this woman who got the house from your dad, why
would you want to live there?

Speaker 15 (01:46:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:46:10):
That's little Well, she wants to sleep in his bed
using his pad.

Speaker 8 (01:46:14):
With Yeah, but if it's a paid off house where
she wouldn't even be able to maybe take the money
and live somewhere else for as much as she's getting
this place for, that would.

Speaker 2 (01:46:23):
Be why where was she living?

Speaker 5 (01:46:24):
Yeah, exactly, So sell the place.

Speaker 2 (01:46:27):
Take that extra money from your dad's place, pocketed invest
to do something. But like why it's like people that
sue to get their job back. Yeah, they clearly don't
want you. How uncomfortable is that?

Speaker 11 (01:46:42):
Well?

Speaker 2 (01:46:43):
Uh, as far as entertainment goes, you got Christopher Nolans,
the honysty Yes, now that's got like a ninety six
percent fresh rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. On the
other side of that, you got people talking to this
new Will Ferrell golf show on Netflix.

Speaker 10 (01:47:03):
It's a comedy, but people have been talking about it
because you have seen him and literally everything he was
introducing the Home Run Derby. He was like every golf outing,
every golf tournament.

Speaker 1 (01:47:14):
He was there, the Home Run.

Speaker 2 (01:47:15):
Everything makes sense because that was on Netflix, right, so
they'll use that to promote their own stuff. But the
fact that he was doing every interview under the sun,
that's how you know something's gonna really suck because when
it's good, they don't have to go out and do
that stuff. That's what we've said about guests all the time.
That's a lot of times why we turn it down
because if you get like a big name guest who's

(01:47:35):
willing to come into a no name radio show for example,
or you know, blogger podcast whatever, it's because they really
got to get the word out to every single person
and try to make something out of it.

Speaker 5 (01:47:47):
They made him his own the Hawk tour bus.

Speaker 1 (01:47:50):
Yeah, I'm not surprised that they came out with this
because Apple TV has a comedy golf show called Stick
and it's really good. It is.

Speaker 2 (01:48:00):
But yeah, Will Ferrell, who else is in that Fortune Fimester?

Speaker 1 (01:48:05):
Is in that girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (01:48:06):
But this thing is getting killed. It's getting killed on
rotten Well, that's the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:48:12):
I like.

Speaker 2 (01:48:12):
I like Fortune Fimester, I like Will Ferrell, I like dude,
there's a lot of people in that. I like, those
are the good. But I saw when I saw the trailer,
I'm like, I don't know, this seems like to like
to be a want to be happy Gilmore. It just doesn't.

Speaker 9 (01:48:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:48:28):
It's on Netflix. Who cares, it's not like a guy
get a sitter and go to the movie theater and
as Greg has talked about, you pay four thousand dollars
for the popcorn things like that. Now you saw The Odyssey, right,
I did, Christopher, What is that about, dude?

Speaker 1 (01:48:43):
It's about a bunch of stories that I never even
heard of, and apparently everybody else on the planet has.

Speaker 10 (01:48:49):
Yeah, this is good.

Speaker 1 (01:48:51):
The Chrodren Horse. I'm like, so I went with Tyler
and I went with Vaughan, and I go, dude, why
is everybody freaking out over this movie The Odyssey? And
they're like everybody read the book in high school and
I'm like, dude, I never even heard of this. Yeah. Books.
And then we get to the movie theater. It's a madhouse,
like totally sold out, people lined up like crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:49:12):
Does it is it?

Speaker 1 (01:49:16):
I don't know. It's not the mood like the Space Odyssey.
This is it's like hold on, it's like about like
old like Greek mythology, right, so like you know, the
Trojan Horse, worse and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:49:31):
That's the worst time.

Speaker 9 (01:49:32):
Period, the hark who goes there period.

Speaker 2 (01:49:35):
Yeah, I don't watch something from space any day over
old timey eight old time Yeah, yeah, like.

Speaker 1 (01:49:46):
Troy and stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:49:48):
Is there a town crier.

Speaker 1 (01:49:49):
Like I loosely like knew the stories because I heard
about him, you know, But.

Speaker 9 (01:49:54):
I mean yeah, I mean, wait, is this g you know,
the Odyssey as in like the Iliad, and I've heard
of it, but I couldn't tell you one thing about it?

Speaker 10 (01:50:05):
About how about this? Not only should most people have
read this? In high school in ap Latin, we did
excerpts not from the Odyssey but from virgils a needed
and we had to recite them.

Speaker 2 (01:50:16):
Also, it was like, I would say, that sounds like
another language to me, but it is another, like literally
literally another language.

Speaker 1 (01:50:22):
The movie is three hours long, and I had to
like ash shat gybt after because I'm like, wait a minute,
it's like the Trojan horse thing? Is was that real?
Did that like really happen or was this like a
story like a myth? So apparently it's a myth. I
mean the fight in the war like actually happened.

Speaker 10 (01:50:41):
People always said They've always tried to like say what
modern country it would have been? What these have represented?

Speaker 1 (01:50:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:50:48):
Yeah, but the tyler you liked it or were you
just there for the snacks?

Speaker 9 (01:50:51):
No?

Speaker 20 (01:50:52):
I thought I thought it was a great movie. I've
been waiting for this movie since I heard about it
like a year and a half ago, which I still
can't believe that men hadn't.

Speaker 1 (01:51:00):
Heard about it. I didn't heard about anything.

Speaker 15 (01:51:02):
Now.

Speaker 20 (01:51:02):
I was locked in and I looked over and I
could see Vaughan and he was just as locked in.

Speaker 1 (01:51:07):
Like this movie rule, dude, it was so good.

Speaker 10 (01:51:10):
The first Nolan is not a bad director.

Speaker 9 (01:51:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:51:12):
The first person you see on screen spoiler Elliott Page.

Speaker 10 (01:51:16):
Oh yeah, as and Elliott apparently is like a buff
fighter warrior.

Speaker 5 (01:51:21):
Super buff nice, Yeah, ripped.

Speaker 1 (01:51:24):
Very believable as a warrior, right, Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:51:28):
I'm looking at The other one was Supergirl. Supergirl is
now Catwoman. Bomb level is the headline that sucks? Yeah,
it still needs to find another twenty million to break even.

Speaker 1 (01:51:41):
I think it will do really well in streaming, though.

Speaker 2 (01:51:43):
No twenty million to break out from being DC's second
lowest grossing film.

Speaker 1 (01:51:47):
No, wow, Oh can I really? When I was leaving
the movie theater, can I just shout out this parking attendant.
His name's Jeff.

Speaker 2 (01:51:54):
Okay, Hey shout out to Jeff.

Speaker 1 (01:51:56):
Jeff so not you jefg guys off of air you know,
I forgot my wallet yesterday. So I go to leave
the parking garage and they didn't have tap to pay.
And this guy Jeff's co worker, she's like, you owe
five bucks. And I thought I had validation I would
be okay, and they don't have the tap and I go, oh,

(01:52:17):
I don't have my wallet. I don't have anything. She goes,
that is illegal. You are breaking the law right now.
You are breaking the law because I had to fill
out some paperwork to give her the five bucks and
she goes, I need to see her ID and then
she goes, let me call supervisor. And then this guy
Jeff came over and he's like, look, you just pay
you pay me on Vemo and I'll pay it for you.

(01:52:40):
And then there was no there was no service so
he could even pull up his Vemo to get his
his address. Is like, I'll just pay it. So I'm
gonna go back today. I'm gonna give him a nice
card and say thank you a card. Yeah, that was
really cool because we always complained about customer service.

Speaker 2 (01:52:56):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (01:52:58):
This guy went above beyond. He used his own money
to pay you the five bucks. So I'm gonna definitely
go back I'm probably gonna give him hundred.

Speaker 9 (01:53:05):
They couldn't push the button and make the gate go up?

Speaker 1 (01:53:11):
She did. Yeah, So I'm gonna go find Jeff at
the parking garage and hook him up. Shout out, Jeff,
Thank you, Jeffy.

Speaker 2 (01:53:19):
Don't get jealous, Tyler. That your man spending time with
another man. Now, I believe that nice movie date you guys.
Now he's off running off with some other dude.

Speaker 9 (01:53:30):
Ye, good old Jeff.

Speaker 2 (01:53:31):

because there's no other explanation for that kind of income.

Speaker 2 (01:54:23):
Like how do you afford all that?

Speaker 1 (01:54:24):
There's no way.

Speaker 9 (01:54:25):
So if you see it, you'll know.

Speaker 2 (01:54:27):
I do appreciate the sizes that you get at the
movie theater because big is never big enough for me.

Speaker 5 (01:54:33):
Yeah, like like.

Speaker 2 (01:54:34):
The drinks at a movie theater, the small is what
like a double big gulp would be like yeah, yeah,
