I didn't have Wi Fi, so to spend a day
with these two girls and we couldn't communicate, but at

the same time, we had a great day. Like it
was just so magical and everyone there is so medicine.

like not only is it a very clean place, but

I was only concerned about the first class flight.

But everyone there was dressed the same as me in

with all these huge guys. So everywhere we went, people
are like, who are these monsters? They call him the
Japanese Godzilla for real. So it was just so cool

to not only experience Tokyo, but to be in this MMA.

World first time, all these new experiences, all the things
that you did and tried and everything out. What was

Either the fight, the rise and fight was amazing, but

sanctuaries and shrines, and I learned like the whole cultural

all our bags, making sure the car pulls up to go,
like it's very much like you respect your elders. He

well next to my man, but you still get to
sit next to like your behind him. But he's like,
you know, the big boss, so he's always at the
head of the table or certain spot. Like there's just

I flew on two different airlines. I did Japan air
on the way there and then Singapore Airlines on the
way back.

But everyone there was dressed the same as me in

Yeah, but that was mostly just for the flight.

Well, and it's not like you were traveling with like

These are athletes, right, and it was so cool to
be with these huge like these are heavyweight guys. Right,
the fighter that we saw, he's six or eight, and so,
first of all, I'm tall for a girl, but I'm
with all these huge guys. So everywhere we went, people
are like, who are these monsters? They call him the
Japanese Godzilla for real. So it was just so cool

to not only experience Tokyo, but to be in this MMA.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
World first time, all these new experiences, all the things
that you did and tried and everything out. What was
your What was the best thing you did?
Speaker 7 (13:51):

Either the fight, the rise and fight was amazing, but
also going to we went to a bunch of different
sanctuaries and shrines, and I learned like the whole cultural
you know, how to pay respect to the spirits and
the gods and do all that kind of stuff. And
learning about the culture that I think was the most
powerful thing.

What was the best thing you ate?
Speaker 5 (14:10):
Oh, that's tough. Best thing? I really like cow toungue?

It was like it was like a Korean barbecue type
thing socause.

That's mostly Korean, not Japanese.

Well, a lot of these restaurants, you go, take your
shoes off, We're sitting on the floor, like these are
local spots where like sumo wrestlers go to eat and stuff.
You always have one person at the table that serves
the table kind of and their culture. There is the
youngest guy on the team. He's in charge of carrying
all our bags, making sure the car pulls up to go,
like it's very much like you respect your elders. He

serves us food. There's certain spots where I have to
sit at a table as the female. Yeah, where is that,
well next to my man, but you still get to
sit next to like your behind him. But he's like,
you know, the big boss, so he's always at the
head of the table or certain spot. Like there's just
so many rules. It's just what a beautiful place and

the people are so nice.

Yeah heard, Oh yeah, so the world could be better.

Yeah, it's that actual visuals of just everything walking around
is just insane.

So there was some some wagering going on, loose wagering. Now, Gina,

It's take a few weeks. One of the guesses is
clearly wrong because there was a few guesses that you
were not even going to come back.

Well we had. We both got on a flight at
the same time. If he wouldn't have come back, then
that maybe not.

And I did check with her just to double check
that she was flying home first class too.

Oh my god, where does the Where does he live

all right, well that would have to get figured out,

Macha cookies, Yes, from a super local spot. I had
one already, and then I also went to seven eleven.

Another friend of mine got back when you got back.

She was also in Tokyo and said that the seven
to eleven bathrooms are like the cleanest thing she's ever
seen in her life.

Oh, speaking of bathrooms. Okay, so at one point I
really needed to go to the bathroom, and he was
in the bathroom in the hotel room. So I'm like, okay, perfect,
I'll go to the lobby. Yep, hopefully I can poop
or something.

For some reason, I could not figure out they're all
like Toto toilets, right, yeah, but washing very fancy the
hotel lobby toilet. I could not figure out how to
flush it. And I was in that song it's a censor, no,
I pressed every goddamn but these sounds are going off.
They have birds chirping.

Yeah, it's spraying the walls trying to wash it. I
was I'm not kidding you. I was in that soft
five minutes freaking out because I knew whoever walked in
behind me was gonna be like this dirty American. I
couldn't figure it out. I had to leave it on flush.

But you left the duty in there.

Maybe, And so when I walked out, I told the
girl in line, who didn't speak English, I'm like, that
one doesn't work. You shouldn't go in there, and she
went right in.

she was talking about like, oh, like what Gina was.

thing you did for the first time and you were
a little anxious about it was flying first class.

Yeah, anxious in the way of like I didn't want
people to be like, why is she here?

Yeah? So let me let me ask you a question.
What did you expect like before you actually got there, Like,
what were you expecting first class to be?
Speaker 5 (19:49):
I don't guess, I don't know. Just you go separate,
like I assumed, you just enter on a whole separate
door of the plane. You can sometimes because every time
I've gotten on a flight, I don't even see the
first class people, right, and you just go straight to economy.
So I was expecting like suits and ties and briefcases
and hot and high heel champagne, champagne, which lots of champagne.

But I was pleasantly surprised most people were in sweats too, like,
and I think that's the style these days. You can
be super super rich and dressed like a homeless parsh
It's kind of like in style now. But yeah, I guess.
I flew on two different airlines. I did Japan air
on the way there and then Singapore Airlines on the
way back.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Singapore, I've seen some of their stuff online, their suits
and stuff.
Speaker 5 (20:38):
The only thing I didn't like about the Singapore Airlines
is if you want to, you know, move your seat
from just a seat to a bed, you have to
get one of the flight attendants to do it for you.
Speaker 6 (20:50):
Can you go ahead and give her a wam I.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Prepare your bed because that's what happened on Emirates with us.
Speaker 5 (20:57):
Well, yeah, but they have to pull it out like
but Japan Airlines there is just a button that you
just yeah, they will.

Bring like I know that weekend trip to Dubai and
they they would come and prepare because there was like
almost like a like a mattress pat or whatever to
put down to make it even more like a mattress. Yeah,
it was so nice.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
And then full on bedding and everything.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
Yeah, like a she slippers.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
Yeah, you know, so it was kind of you know,
like I got to ask the girl to make my
seat into a bed. Annoying, right, Wow, dude, the food
was amazing. I had to rack a lamb on a plane.

Yeah, watching movies, watching movie did you sleep? Did you
actually use it as the bed and sleep?
Speaker 5 (21:44):
I slept so good on the way back yesterday that
I had a dream that the plane crashed into the ocean.
Speaker 6 (21:49):
That's a great dream.

Yeah it was. We all survived and we got to
use the slide. But then I woke up and it
felt so real and I was like, wait, I'm still
on the plane. I thought we crashed. Like so I
got some great sleep.

Yeah, I told you. The best sleep score with my
r ring that I ever got was on that trip
that Medicine and I did, the extreme weekend trip to Dubai.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Really were spooning. Yeah.

I talk about the hum of the engine and when
they make up those beds like that, they're so comfortable.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
They really are. Yeah, there's something about the hum.

Of an airplane.

I find the same thing on a cruise ship like
the there's that kind of that low level humpuzz Yeah
that happens like the engines on the cruise ship at
least yea and not if you have like that sound
of the you got like a you know, like a
like an outdoor slider and you can hear the water
like smacking the side of the boat and stuffing that
right to sleep.

So now to fly for you not only ruined, but
detroy any future flight.

No.

I think for a big trip, like a twelve hour flight,
I would prefer first class, right, but I can do
you know, if it's somewhere in the States, I'm fine
an economy, So that's good.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Okay. I was gonna say, did you think it was
worth it? I mean, not that you paid for this ticket,
but do you think now that you know about first class?
Now that's different first class, the lay flat seats, the pods,
those are different. Typical first class is just like a
wider seat. You do have, you know, you do have
like unlimited drinks, well unlimited to a certain point. Let's

you start creating a problem. There's a meal served, things
that you get on first you know, things like that.
Do you think it's worth it?
Speaker 5 (23:21):
Absolutely? If you're going international and you can.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Yes, But even domestically, would you say that it's worth.

It if I had a ton of money to blow, yeah, sure,
But to me, if it's domestically kind of a waste.
If your flight's you know, less than two hours.

Okay, because I bring us up because comedian Joe DeRosa
we've met. Uh, he's a lot with the you know
Bert Yeah, he's you know on Bird's shows. He's got
a stand up special to just hit Netflix, and he's
got this bit in there about how we're all getting
hustled by by corporate America. Oh like for these quote luxuries.
And one of his examples, let's see if you agree

or disagree is take on first Everything.

Is a hustle. Quality, quality is a hustle. It's fake,
doesn't exist.

First Class is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.
First Class sucks. It's a chair you can fit in, that's.

All it is.

But they make coach class so utterly that by the
time you get up to first class you're like, oh
my god, this is fantastic.

My kneecaps aren't turning inside out from the seat in

This was definitely worth an extra seventeen hundred to Tampa.
As Joe DeRosa now on domestic first class, he is
absolutely right. It's just a bigger seat. It's a bigger seat.
It's a bigger more comfortable seat, and you know, you

might get the like I said, the meal, and if
you're really big on you know, the drinks. For me,
it's like I don't I don't really drink.

So I've taken I don't ever really take.

It's wasted on me. I don't really take advantage of
that stuff.

I've flown first class once and it was because I
was on standby and they just so happened to put
me on it, and I was very, very excited for it.
I tried one time to upgrade to first class because
I've never done it, and I thought, let's see how
much the difference would be. I thought it would be.
I'm incredibly naive, having never done it, didn't know what
to expect. I thought it would be an extra maybe

three hundred bucks. Oh god, it was like an extra
eighteen hundred. Well that's oh yeah, it's like come.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
A lot of times you can. That'll be like an
extra two fifty or something or something like that. The
law for it is lucked out all over it, like
one hundred fifty bucks. It depends on where you're going.
You're going internationally, it's going to be more expensive something domestic.

Yeah, this is like one of the like a four
hour flight.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
Yes, Jeff, I will say Jet Blues Mint is great
first class. I know Seevess has mentioned that a couple
of times. Yeah, it's a real good experience because it's
fully laid down everything. Yeah, that's the one that I
would say domestically really rules.

If I would say, it's totally worth it no matter
what domestically or internationally. If you do have the pods,
if you have the lay flat option, that is a
game changer. If it's just I think American Airlines has
the worst because there are just the bigger seats. There's
no entertainment in the seat back in front of you.
It's like you use it just on your use it

just on your own devices. You're still paying for the
Wi Fi.
