I think the only reason I went through with it
too is because I really liked road trips. So for me,
it was oh is that right? That was partially the

So this was my my ex wife, my first wife,
and we had been divorced for well over a year
at this point she was dating this new guy and
it was cool. I was happy for it because we
didn't when we when we split it, Like I told
you before, there was no ill will. It was just
we had just we got married, super young, just became
two different people, wanted two different sets of things and

went our separate ways. Fine, okay, still you know, no uh,
no bad feeling. But every once in a while, Hey,
how you doing. Hope you're well? That was it. I
got this call. I was, I was. It was over
the holidays and I was at my mom's house visiting.
And uh, by the way, I'm single at this point.
You know, I'm not. I'm not in a relationship. So

I Jen and I are not together yet.
Speaker 10 (22:19):

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Get this, uh this message from my ex wife saying, hey,
I needed to call me. I have a favor to ask.
She was asking me to drop everything that I had
fly to Seattle, where she lived currently. Now keep in mind,
I'm at my parents' house in New Jersey. Wants me
to fly to Seattle to drive her to the Planned
(22:42):
parenthoods she can get an abortion. Yeah, and I go, well,
it's clearly not my because we have been, we have been,
we have been. I hadn't seen her in well over
a year. I'm like, well, it's clearly not mine. Why
are you asking me to do this? Does she have
no friends? Well, because she is from Portland, Oregon originally,
and so she was living in Seattle at the time,
(23:03):
and she did not have any kind of real support
around her that wasn't affiliated with this boyfriend that she had.
Didn't want the boyfriend to know that she was pregnant
in doing this. I wanted to keep the whole thing
a secret from him and would absolutely no, in no way,
even though she's super close to her mom, would even
think to call her mom certainly not her dad to
come ask to you know, cause I guess this is
(23:26):

Speaker 4 (23:26):
I was going to say she can't drive home any other.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Way, and they won't say. I don't think they'll send
you home in a cab, No, I doubt it. I'm
not sure how abortions work. I've never been to a
party to one.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
I would think, like, even like oral surgery or something,
you're not allowed to take a cab, you know, to
have someone pick you.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Up any anyway. So she calls me, I go, what
kind of Jerry Springer weird? I drove my ex wife
to get into abortion, and all I got was this
T shirt? Kind of garbage? Is this? Well, I know
I didn't do it. Of course I didn't do it.
You didn't do it, no way. I wonder what she did,
you know, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (23:58):
Oh my god, maybe she kept it, because I don't.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Think we've had a conversation of any kind since then. Wow,
I'm thinking back, that's probably the last conversation that we
had no offense to twenty years playing parenthood.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
But you would think that'd be they would have a package,
so to speak for right, well, for their best customers,
maybe hundred dollars, like for the people who are using
it as birth control?
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Wow, every fifth shuttle? Yeah, like yeah, right, yeah, a
courtesy shuttle, a punch card, you know, like the like
the dealership has. Right, we're all out of loaners, but
we can get we can get you where you need
to be within a certain mile radius with this shuttle.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
I mean they're sitting on a million dollar idea.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
I thought it was I thought it was weird. I
think that is weird. So do you realize what an
odd request this is? Do you know where I am
right now?
Speaker 4 (24:44):
That definitely be Christmas.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
I'm at my mom's house for Christmas. You want me
to fly to Seattle, I'll take you for an abortion
for a baby that's not mine.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
That's very Jerry Springer, right, it's very very low end.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
I mine was kind of like that in a way.
Though I did ask a weird favor of an next
boy friend did. Yeah, we had broken up. I broke
up with him and which kind of plays into it.
And he always said, no pets. I don't deal with cats.
I don't deal with dogs. I don't take requests, I
don't do any pet sitting of any kind. But this cat.
I was living in a really rough part of town,

and this cat gave birth in front of my door,
and I freaked out. So I put the cat and
the kittens in a box and like dragged it into
my kitchen of this really just beat up studio apartment
I was living in, and I didn't know what to do.
So let's just say one of the kittens didn't make it,
and I didn't know what. Well, can I see, Okay,
(25:39):
so one of the kittens didn't make it. But but
the mom instinctually apparently now I know this after seeing
it tries to like recoup those nutrients.
Speaker 10 (25:49):
What.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Yeah, the mom eats this what and I freezed? Is
that what? I've never heard that before. I knew the
hamster even when they're alive.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
I woke up in the morning because I knew something
was wrong with this cat because she scooted all the
other kittens away from it in the box. And I
went to sleep and I woke up and this cat
was this kitten was dreaked. I call this guy who
wants who I broke up with, who wants nothing to
do with animals, like, I.
Speaker 8 (26:18):
Got a big favorite to ask you.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
And I he was screaming at me. He was so mad,
I'll never talk. I go, fine, great, Yes, anything you want,
I'll never bother you again. Please please, so very very upset.
Went like when he could get around to it. Later
in the day he came over it. Wow, helped me
out because he won't do anything. I'll do anything.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
Same for him to you that I had for what
he did. Do you not have any friends at the time, Well, I.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Didn't have any friends that would deal with that. But
he he was like a manly dude, and he was
like always kind of like.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
What was the what was the price?
Speaker 4 (26:51):
I think I think that day, not that day. He
just split. He never he quote unquote never wanted to
talk to me again. But then I got a u
up a couple of days as any lady.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
You're a lady, Thank you.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
I'm good with my promises because I said I'll do anything.
I don't care. This was a nightmare.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Girls know, girls know who they've got in their rolodecks.
Who yes like that your ex wife knew you had
the means to get out there. I've been on the
other end of this where they know you even if
they're they know which guys have a little bit of
money or a little bit of Gina's case alpha right, yeah,
and they keep those guys on on speed true true, Yeah.
