have somebody carry that box for you. But no, he
doesn't itself myself. You're huffing and puffing. Yeah, brought a
bunch of stuff, Hi, Joe.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I had like a huge box of stuff to bring

because there's so many things happening with with Joe Koy.
I mean, of course he's out there. He's doing his
uh just being Koy tour, which is gonna be hitting
a couple of Woody shows cities Philly. He'll be at
the Expended Mobile Arena on March six, March twenty first
Wilbeit Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles. Now, yah, this this

(01:06):
brings me to my first like holy cow thing for you. So,
Joe and Gabriel Iglesias decided that, you know, we're gonna
do a show. Let's find somewhere big because you know,
it's it's the biggest comedy show ever. It's the first
time a comedian will headline at Sofi Stadium. Yeah, and
so it's gonna be Joe Coy and Gabriel Glaziers, two
huge comedians and that's a big venue. And I just

(01:29):
saw over the weekend that you guys officially sold it out. Man. Yeah, congratulations, Yeah,
that's awesome crazy, I'm so happy for you.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah. We were taking pictures for a variety and standing
in the you know, on the fifty yard line. Yeah,
a variety of pictures, Yeah, doing a variety pictures. Yes,
And I was just we were looking up like what
do we this is We don't even know what to
do right now. We don't even know how to embrace this,
like we don't know what we're getting into.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Does that happen often? Often for you? I mean, like
where you kind of catch yourself and it just had
again a private moment.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Yeah, there was one time my hometown Tacoma, and and
I sold out the Tacoma Dome is like twenty two thousand,
and it was my hometown. That was like one of
those what's going on right now?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
That means more than anything, right we saw the hometown show.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah, especially because my school was right there. All my
high school friends came and it was just I'm like,
what is this? This is nuts?

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah is crazy?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
This one's crazy.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Now that you have sold up, So if I stadium,
can we get Menace to do just like five minutes?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, he's been working on.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Wave.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
That's the problem with asking is he will say yes,
six pm.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Nobody's in the yah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I
mean five point fifty five. It's the pre to the
pre show.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Doors open at six minutes.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Goes on.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
This one's for the steps. I'm down my check check uhher,
stop sweeping, I got he comes your feature. Check this out.
Stop boiling those hot dogs, ladies, garbage bags? What's up

(03:14):
with what's up with recycle? Everyone? What? So?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Congratulations on that. That's huge. And then was it last
week or the week before have been the week before
I get this uh FaceTime from Joe and he calls me.
He goes, hey, man, I got something really important to
talking about now. I was in the middle of getting
a straight razor shave.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
By the way, I was a hammer and nail. Every
time I I FaceTime, it's it's he's innocent. It's like
a it's like a sitcom, buddy. I was like, I
just got stuck by bees. What yeah, you know me
champing the episode? This like what time I call it was?

(04:00):
Kids were jumping in the pool. Kids were jumping at
the pool and what about you? Now, I'm just here
till they get tired. Ya, just waiting for them to
get tired. And then this time it was.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
But I always pick up your call.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah you did. This time he picked up and there's
this man massaging his face and he had a warm towel,
no glasses off by the way, the glass Like, I
was like, who's this.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Yeah, he looks so different.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
He's like, he goes, this is the greatest life. This
is a man's Oh man, what'd you call it? It
was like it's like a man man's spa. They put
they shave your beard and put dirt under your nails.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, dude, it's the greatest place. I go once a week,
and you know, you can buy like a membership and
you can go in there, like depends on the membership,
but you can go every day and like, you know,
Greg would love it because he can get his haircut
every day, or you can go in there. I go
once a week and they they line up the beer,
they get like the hot lather, like the straight razor shave.
It's it's fantastic realizing it's called.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Sports.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
You walk in, they've got a they got a full
bar there. They ask you when you sign up, like, hey,
what's your drinking choice? They always make sure they have
your drinking choice ready for you, and you sit down,
they get the hot towel going, dude, It's fantastic. It's
called Hammer and Nails. They have locations across the country.
What about.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yeah, and then I slipped some tires.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, yeah, you got you gotta make you gotta make
some of these dudes who are a little uh you
want me to Brazilian?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah? Do you want me to line you up?

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
You want a light sad? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
So I'm sitting there, but of course I always take
Joe's call, and uh, I'm sitting there and getting my
my straight razor shave and he calls. He's like, hey, man,
I got something really important to talk to you about.
I said, all right, So as soon as I got out,
I called and he didn't pick up my call. Then
I called him back again. I called him back. I
caught it back again. We're both very busy people, but

(06:03):
I caught it back again, and he told me, and
this is this is super cool man I And again
it's it's weird, like I have a handful of friends
right now who have some really cool, exciting things going
on in their lives, and it's like I find myself
getting somewhat like emotional for them, like I'm so I'm
so happy for you. Joe is getting honored at the

(06:26):
TCL Chinese Theater where you put your handprints and your
footprints in the cement, which is like that is so
old time Hollywood, that that is like that's classic. That
getting like a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
Like there are just certain things like that means that
that's like real, I've made it kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
So sick of.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
People using the word iconic because they're using it. This
is iconic.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, so that's what that means. He's getting They call
it a hand and foot print ceremony, right, and so
he's going to be having his hands and his feet
in the in the concrete there, And I was like, wow,
that's really cool. And then he stopped me in my
tracks and I still it's it's yeah, it's a it's
it's really cool. I'm honored that you asked me to

(07:10):
do it. But he asked me to m c his event,
like his induction. Damn, look my eyes are honestly, I love,
I'm so happy for you. I'm so happy for you.
And uh also petrified of hosting this.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Yeah, he gets really nervous.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
You know I've told you about when we have guests
and like my whole concern is like, are they having
a good time? This is such a big deal. No,
this is this is this is such a legit big
deal that I'm I'm more worried about screwing up your moment. No, No,
I had. I'm so happy.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I'm so happy for that. No I am.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
I'm I'm so happy for you.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I had you were the first person I thought of
too when I Yeah, when they asked, is that that
was the first thing.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, And I know how they normally asked for these things.
It's not us.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
You can even ask Menace. Yeah, I asked Menace and uh.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
He said, nod, he call me, he goes, he goes,
good luck.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
You know how long it took the Dubai right, But uh,
but I called you and yeah, he said the same thing.
You know that you like, you get nervous on situations like.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
We No, I get nervous, do I said, I couldn't
you know, say one hundred percent that you would do it?
I said that you would be relunctant at first, but
you would probably.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, ending well, of course I'm going to say yes.
And like no, it's because of the weight of the
moment for you, Like I don't.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
You know, can you handle this responsibility? You know, That's
what I mean, Like that's the question.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, So I mean I take the I take the
responsibility of it very seriously. So, like I want this
to be a great moment for you, which is it's
gonna be. It's gonna Tiffany has is one of the
guest speakers. Yeah, he's happening next Wednesday, February. The eleventh
at the t CL Chinese Theater. I mean, what do
I wear? I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
People around there? Spider Man suits.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
You could do this with Steve by playing Sponge right here, and.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
I could dress the sixteenth bot like Mickey Mouse, But like,
what do you wear? Honestly? Like that's the one that's
the one big thing.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Say, just be you man.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
I don't say that, but you know you got you
gotta you gotta give me some real guidelines, Steelers sweatshirt,
where you're.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
All everything that you always do.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
You need a style if you want. We need to
be a good public speaker. Get him real drunk beforehand.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, I mean the ceremony might be extra long.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
See, and that's why this is why I don't really
do that stuff famous ntivity.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah no, we'll get him some beta blockers. We'll be good. Yeah,
you be great.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Yeah, I'm I'm just super We we you know, we
had you in years ago. And you know, man, I
tell you, dude, like your your whole career and just
your life in general has been on this rocket ship ride.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
You've been there for my ups and my down.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
So wacked has there been down? There's actually there was
something I heard about there someone's opening a museum of
failure or something, and so it's supposed to serve as
like a uh as inspiration for people. Like, look, everybody
had that moment where like, you know, like something that
represented like a like a bad you know moment in

(10:36):
their life or like something that didn't go the way
that they thought it was going to go. But they
but they overcame that. But honestly, like from the outside,
from the outside looking in, dude, like it just seems
that it's been all and up and up, from you know,
the the getting bigger and bigger venues to now you
sold out Sofi Stadium, to uh, the book, the movie,

(10:57):
like just you're getting your you know, hand in footprint
ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater. Just like it's it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Yeah, he deserved because like Joe's a hard worker.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Well and not only does he have this unbelievable story,
but the reason why I don't think we know the
downs is because Joe doesn't bitch about anything. He's he's
just a positive guy.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
I did I did say something about like watching your Instagram,
like you have a good time all the time, right,
like every day seems to be the most fun day
of your life. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I made an effort to do that now too late.
I told my son, I go, I'm taking less gigs
on the road, especially in the summer. I said that
to him this year. Yeah, I'm like, yeah, man, like
we we you know, we did Europe together and it
was like, okay, we woke up in Amsterdam and then
we and then we got on a plane and flew
to uh, let's just say Berlin.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
Right.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I don't know the schedule, but I remember it was
two cities in twenty four hours. And I'm like, dude,
this isn't fun, like like we're just we're just we're
not We're just leep. It in like we get to
say we're in Europe, but we're not in Europe, right.
I bought a plane ticket. Yeah, and that's what happened
last year. I bought a ticket and I go, we're, well,
we'll decide when we go back home, like we we

(12:12):
deserve this.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
So that's cool.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:14):
I got to spend that day with you in Pittsburgh,
and it's just a fun vibe because you're just checking
out every city. Yeah, you have your friends and your
family with you the entire time, and then you're just
like really enjoy yourselves.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
It really is like, yeah, neighborhood.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I think that's how it should always be. Like, I mean,
we were in a position where we forget that this
isn't a job. You guys get to wake up every
morning and talk on microphones. Bro, this is like a
dream job. It's no. But you know what I mean,
Like some people are like, I gotta get up. It's
just like, man, no, I'm like, I gotta get up.
I can't wait. This is this is not working for me.

(12:53):
I'll show you working. I used to work for a
construction company and I was what they the laborer.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
That's what they called me.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
That was my position. And I was the wheelbarrow guy
because they made sidewalks and driveways. And I remember I
just my first time ever doing any kind of physical
labor and they I had to go to the cement truck.
They pour it into the wheelbarrow and I had to
run it to them. They're like, hurry up, and they're
doing like the figure eighthing, hurry up and coming, and
I dumped it on the person's lawn, on the lawn

(13:24):
and they you should have seen all of them, like,
and they had to dig the seman out of the
out of the and they had to redo the whole
lawn because I dumped it all over the lawn.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Was the other job you said you had? It was
in Vegas the dolphins, the dolphin habitat.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I was a tour guide as the dolphin. You know
how many names I made up because they clear? How
do you know the difference by by the dolphins. They're
all gray. Yeah, there's nine of them. That's that's Barnaby,
that's Piccolo. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
I think people that have a lot of kids too,
I think they don't even know who their kids are. Like, yeah,
I'm convincing to start throwing people they're talking to. You
don't know, you can say anything.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
That's what I was doing. I would literally do that.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
It's so funny.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah, there's Sergeant you guys, he's been here the longest.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yeah, Joe Koy is here and again he's on his
Just Being Koy tour, which has gone to all different cities.
You know a lot of people podcasting from different cities.
But I know a couple that were on the radio
and like I mentioned Philly, he's gonna be there March sixth,
March twenty first Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, which is
sold out, and all kinds of good stuff going on,

(14:29):
you know, the Hand and Footprint ceremony at the TCL
Chinese Theaters coming up next Wednesday at Joe Koy to
follow along with the whirlwind existence that is Joe Koy
and we're gonna take a break. We have more with
Joe coming up next. You're here at the right time
because you know Super Bowl is Uh, I'm going You're
going to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
I'll be on the fifty yard line. Everybody. Oh, it's
on redemption. You know. I was at the you know,
I'm from Seattle, right and I went to the last one.
I think that was ten years ago.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, the interception on the one of the one.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Yard Carol called that, there's a great idea. Yeah, so
three shots let's throw it.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, so you're going to the game. Oh yeah, this
is going to be Uh, how are you getting there?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
We're flying?

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Yeah, I know, but like do you fly like into
because like everybody talks about like just what a mess?
I think just getting there? Yeah, just getting their part
is supposed to be like a mess. Yeah, I will.
I don't know for me that, oh dude, even like
if I wanted to fly, yeah, oh you should fly, Yeah, dude,
if I wanted to fly there, It's crazy to try

(15:34):
to get because they have to slot you in's so
many planes coming. There's so many planes coming in, and
they give you like a fifteen minute window, and if
you don't make that fifteen minutes, you're out. You're bakers.
And yeah, and then they send you to some like
alternate somewhere. And and the fee they charge you just
to land, I think it starts at five thousand just

(15:55):
to land. What to get one of the slots will
cost you like minimum five grand. God's small ass plane.
If you have like a bigger plane like some of
these like corporate jets and stuff coming in, they're charging
fifteen twenty grand just to land.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
That's why I'm landing just to lane Gilroy down the road.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
I smart.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, you know, I was on a plane that was
on fire.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
That was la Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
You know, we just found out why it took us
so long to land in Japan. They finally told us
they want to let us land because of you know,
the the visas and stuff to get into real yeah,
was paperwork that paper planes on fire, left it on fire.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
But they're worried about paperwork. That's ground control.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Just nah, you have papers and.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
You know you see like at the zoo they have
like the octopus or whatever, it chooses who wins the
superwl We're going to find out. We have a special guest.
Oh yeah, who's gonna be here. It's a special animal
friend of ours who is going to choose and tell
us all who will win the Super Bowl on Sunday. Wait, oh,
the able the animal chooses.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Have you seen those? It's like a thing.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, I've never seen one ever. They'll put like a
Seahawks whatever out there, and then a Patriots whatever and
whichever won the the bear like that. We have a
special animal friend who will join us with Joe Coy
after the break raccoon And why are you so on edge? Joe?
Joe Coy is here.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I thought it was going to be a snake the animal. Yeah,
I thought the animal was gonna be there.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Was like, you know, like snakes. Why did you have
a bad experience with one or just generally could be out.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
I don't know, man, it's just the way they move.
I don't understand it. Yeah, I don't get it. How
you get across that fast? I can't. The sound it makes,
I can't.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
But they want to give you a little kiss with
their come on man.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Uh huh. So the live animals, yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Yeah, yeah, all right, So no no snakes, no snakesperience
any other any other animals that make sure that get
because it just so happened to be. It's the beginning
of super Bowl week and you were going to be
here and then yeah, so like we are, we already
had this booked. We already had this this animal guest book.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
So you booked, is what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
No, no, it's not it's not a snake. I'll tell
you it's not a snake. It's not a snake. Okay.
So what we're doing here is, you know, you see
it every time the Super Bowl rolls around, they have like.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
A zoo somewhere news to go to the zoo, and
they got like a big, a big watermelon with the
the Seahawks logo on it, a watermelon with a Patriots
logo on it.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
When we see which one of the hippo eats, right, right,
that'suposed to determine who's gonna yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
So now you have a plate of food I can
tell you, can I say the brands are don't tell
you no. But there there's there's tenders, all right, yeah,
well and then there's a tortilla. Tortilla I'll say, and
I'm not gonna see correctly because I could tell that's
a fast food to tilla.

Speaker 5 (18:55):
Okay, So the Seahawks, we're gonna do the same thing
we got. Our animal is gonna come in and the
end is not going to know you know this, but
it's gonna eat one of these plates full of food.
Whichever that animal eats is who's gonna win. So the
the chicken plate Joe is of course a bird like
the Seahawks and the tortillas. The Mexican food is of
course representing the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Oh yeah, okay, it's anonymous.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yes, alright.

Speaker 5 (19:23):
So actually I picked both of these two plates of
food because I happen to know that the animal absolutely
loves both of these things.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Really, there's no like, yeah, there's no like. The scent
won't turn off the animal.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
So this animal loves the special sauce.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah, it's not like one's one's chicken and one's broccoli, right.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Animal, I know the animal loves these things.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Absolutely. Yeah, let's let's go ahead, and Sammy's got the animal.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
Are a handler?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
All right?

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Here we go, let's find out who wins uh the
super Bowl? This we are here, it goes. Oh, it's
Menaced the Dog. Everybody all right? Yeah, down, Menace the Dog.
We've we've had on the show a number of times.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Help him find the microphone. Please hand me because who
in our staff eats like an arrow?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
We have a chair, chair almost sit in chair.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Yeah, we've had Menace the Dog on the show a
number because last time we saw you, Menace the Dog,
you you were chasing Morgan through the park.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
I was that slow ass bitch and he nailed her.
He got her a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, I tell you, mess the dog is uh is
surprisingly fast.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Yes, agile, I'm like the wind.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Much like the snakes that Joe Coy gets freaked out. Joe,
are you okay?

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Chair?

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yeah, Joe Coy Coy is on your left.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
I heard he just recently shot a special in stocked
in California. I got a lot of X bitches up
in there, and wait, man, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Yeah, a lot of them trying to give me for
child support.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
You know whatever, dog has stopped the material.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
All right, So yeah, Menace the Dog is here.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
And uh yeah so you mean bitches like real bitches.
Yeah yeah, yeah. The holes want my paper, not your paper.

Speaker 6 (21:16):
No, yeah, they want money currency probably dumbasses out there.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
