the building in Pittsburgh.

that that countdown clock is counting down every day.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
It's clock. They're careful, dude, you clocked it. I know
you clocked it.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Almost almost. Hey. I will tell you this, In all
the years that we've been doing this show, and in
all the years that we've been reading little things from
the Pittsburgh Police scanner account, I have never experienced a
post from the Pittsburgh Police scanner of what was happening
yesterday in the city going on. I'm telling you there
(01:53):
is nothing like what happened yesterday in the city. A
monkey was involved. We'll get to that coming up around
six forty. It's mike Ymbob Kiss. A lot of people
have been gearing up for this weekend for a long time.
The trucks are here, the stages set tonight and tomorrow night.

It's Morgan Walling at Akroshare. It's Mikey and Bob the
Kiss Morning Freak Show. Brooks and Dunn opening up tonight.
Ella Langley, one of the biggest country artists out right now,
is biggest artists. Yeah, opening up tomorrow. I also saw
a post by her friends over at one Berg. Do
you remember last time Morgan Wallen was in town, he
(02:35):
did the show at PNC Park.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
The A lot of the talk online was about.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
The Romper Stomper, that girl who was in the romper
who pulled the other girl out of the porta potty and.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Beat her ass. Do you remember that whole thing?
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah? What a time that was. Saw the Romper Stomper?
I saw she posted on social media. I thought the
Romper was retired. Then Morgan announced he's coming back to Pittsburgh.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Watch and it says.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Every time I come back to Pittsburgh, I once beat
a be up in a porta potty and accidentally made
it my entire personality. Yeah, and here we are talking

uh set up and everything too. Weren't they open yesterday?

to the show, come buy some Morgan Wall and merch,

and stuff too. And yeah, so Morgan Wall and tonight

stories from the Pittsburgh Police Scanner account for years on
the show. Always you know, just weird things that happen
in and around the city. I've never seen anything like
(07:07):
they posted yesterday. It had to do with a monkey.
I don't know how this didn't make some type of
national news. Hey man something.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
We don't have a lot of monkeys just here in Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
This is wild Florida ish. It's dude, this is like
you would see it and you'd be like, man, even

swampy today. Uh mixes sun and clouds. High's in the
(08:22):
mid to upper eighties. They're gonna start tickling ninety degrees
here and we're getting some rain this week, could get
a little wet. Yeah, it's Mikey above the ninety six
one Kiss Morning Freak Show. Now, for years on the show,
we've been reading posts from the Pittsburgh Police Scanner account.
I met one of the guys before, great dude, and
I just I asked him, like, what's the story behind this.
(08:44):
Just me and this other guy started listening to Pittsburgh
Police Scanner and then we would just post about it.
They took their hobby and just turned it into a
whole thing. Yeah, so now you know they got accounts
on social media to have their own website, pghdash Scanner
dot com And I'm telling you, in all the years
we have covered Pittsburgh police scanner reports, I don't know
if we have ever heard of a situation happening in
(09:07):
and around our city like this Larimer can have near
Bakery Square, multiple callers indicate there's a dude riding a
motorbike with what appears to be a monkey on their back,
macing people on the sidewalk. Jesus, what what again?
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Multiple callers?
Speaker 1 (09:28):
This wasn't just like one prank caller, So there's got
a monkey on his back? And have multiple callers near
Bakery Square there's a dude riding a motorbike with what
appears to be a monkey on their back. I mean
maybe he's got like a monkey backpack or something. What
(09:49):
are they doing?
Speaker 2 (09:50):
You ask, Oh, they're macing people, They're peppers raying people.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
It's unbelievable, right, Like, what do we like a follow up?
Does he own a monkey?
Speaker 3 (10:03):

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Jared Jones with solidness that can start five shutout innings
and then good Carmen Majinsky came in from the bullpen,
kept it, kept it good. Ryan O'Hearn with a home run.
That kind of works. Yeah, that kind of works. Buccos
have homered in eleven straight games. Now they have one
of the best offenses in baseball. Uh oh, gotta go
down to Atlanta though and play the Braves. They're the
(11:20):
best team in baseball record wise. So Mitch Keller pitching
tonight for the Buccos. Also Hannah Mears from sports Net
Pittsburgh was asking Jared Jones about you know, the Cones
and hoisted cone and the traffic Cones and all that,
and uh, I guess he's got a name that's maybe
a thing on the internet. You've got a nickname, Jared Cones.
(11:42):
The people I might have been calling you Jared Cones.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
Are we cool with that?
Speaker 7 (11:46):
Now?
Speaker 8 (11:46):
From Jared Jones to Jared Cones?
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Is that the people online? Or is that your suggestion?
Speaker 9 (11:51):
Oh there's people online saying that, yeah, bringing bringing the
people what they.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Want, Jared, Yeah, that works.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
That's Hannah Mers. They're asking the questions. I mean, she
does great job.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Is that the people online? Or is that that you're
just making this right now? He's Jared kenns Now, Jay's
Jared Kins. We not this year. You're not Jared Jones.
You're Jared Kinns Jones. Can nice win for the Buckos again.
They've they've hit a home run in eleven straight games, like,
we got the offense this sunbelievable. So they'll be down

to play the clip of good old Organ Wallen.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Everybody chuckling and also a great weekend. Have a good one, fellows,
not Organ Wallen.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
This is a Nashville story, right, Let's get to this
real quick. We're going to Nashville for this one.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Nashville police arrested a man after a woman found him
naked on her back porch. According to the arrest report,
officers responded to the home after nine one one was
called and they found a man on the porch just
sitting down on a bench. The victims of the house
told police that they had no idea who the man
was and they didn't even know how he got into
(13:25):
their backyard.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
They said the man was trying to get into their
back door, right.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Fully naked, relaxing on the back porch after trying to
get in.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, he's trying to get in the back door.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
The man took off all his clothes and started rubbing himself.
Officers showed up placed the man under arrest. The naked
man told police that he lived at the house. The house,
he says, naked and rubbing in the backyard.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Do you think I would do this in a stranger's yard?
You seel comfortable? I feel here my house.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
I'm in the backyard playing an acoustic officer. I don't
know if he was. I mean, I know Nashville's very
musical city, but I don't know if he was.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Actually I don't think he had a guitar on him
or anything.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
You think he was just maybe his name's Organ Wallen
or something.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
He's warming up in the.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Backyard, alsar, I gotta warm up.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Got a performance tonight down on Broadway.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
You might have heard me. I'm in the tribute.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Man Morgan Wallen.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Or Wallen.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
I got anything left for this story?
Speaker 10 (14:50):
Now?
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Oh there's more. We haven't even gotten part of that.
We haven't, No, no sidetracked because I didn't know it
was Orgon walling out there playing. All right, So the
guy's naked in the backyard, cops are there. He says
he lives at the house. The cops then asked him
what's the address to the house he didn't know, all right,
not your house, said Bud Right. The naked man also
(15:13):
told police that he was allegedly looking for his friend
Moses and that God sent him there. All right.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
I feel like, if.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
We're gonna get somebody sent down from the heavens or
the afterlife, is it, Organ Wallen.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
I don't think it's gonna be Organ Wallen. I don't think.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
He was.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Hey, don't arrest the messenger.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
God didn't send him to Earth with any clothes, just
a song in his heart, Organ Wallen.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
He was charged with indecent exposure.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
It is a naked person, Organ Wallen, specifically making the
show once again.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
This is an iHeart Radio World premiere.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Hey, it's Taylor.
Speaker 11 (15:54):
This is the iHeartRadio World premiere of I Knew It,
I Knew You.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
There is an obscene amount of things happening in and
around the city this weekend. Of course, Morgan Walling two
back to back shows at Acres Shirt. Also, it's Pittsburgh
Pride weekend. What just a fun weekend that. It's just
a comic con too, right, There's Comic con if Convention Center. Yeah,
three Rivers Comic Conic Convention Center.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
There's a lot of stuff going on. It's arts, dude.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Arch archs always been like a square mile there there.
It's all happened this weekend, man, It's It's one of
the biggest weekends of the summer. It feels like it's
Mikey and Bob the ninety six to one Kiss Morning
Freak Show. Hey, Steelers went to Kennywood yesterday, Kenny Wood Day.
I love this so much, you know, and this isn't
(16:43):
a new thing. They've done this before.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
This has to be Mike McCarthy's first time back though
and forever.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Right you think McCarthy's been to Kennywood before yesterday, like
just with the family or something like that, Like it's
Green Bay years and stuff like that. I'm not sure. Yeah,
this might have been special for him. I feel like
he can't go to Kennywood now and not get bothered.
But I feel like when he was coaching in Dallas
and in Green Bay, he could have came back to
Kennywood because Mike. Everybody has an uncle that looks like
(17:10):
Mike McCarthy. Right now, do you think he walked around
like that uncle and just told the players that he
was walking around with or whoever he's like back in
my day. Man told Kenny Wood story Dude, Yes, I
bet he was basically Rick Seaback to the Steelers teams
all in the age, you know Kenny Wood out fits, saying,
(17:30):
you know me and my best friend we used were
same outfis Kenny What ELFI is? Tricket girlill?
Speaker 7 (17:35):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (17:35):
So they go to Kennywood. Cam Hayward was very excited
about it. He said, our turnout's really good being out here,
the chance to get families involved, having everybody.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Together, it's a great environment.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Seems like a good man. Wide receiver Ben Scarnick used
to come to Kennywood every summer because his dad's family
is in was in Connellsville. Man. So it was Ben
Scarron his first time back at Kenny Woods. He's like,
I've been here. He probably he probably got with Mike
McCarthy's just like, hey, man, where's the log jammer at?
(18:10):
Where's the jammerka? By the way, dunks, I mean one
of our favorite rookies, right, I mean one of our
favorite players on the Steeler arms, A mythical legend rookie
Offensive Lindeman, the guy who's got the big red flowing
mullet from Iowa. Jennings Dunker, uh said, the fantoms of revenge.
(18:31):
That one was electric, man, that mullet flowing. This is
like ten year old in twenty three year old me's dream,
you know. But Dunker Jennings Dunker said, I wish you
would have been a little bit warmer for the water rides.
He was eyeing up the Pittsburgh Plunge.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Man, jug Dunker, He's like a giant Golden retriever out there.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Just can't keep him on the water. What a maniac,
What a maniac? Dude. He sees the Pittsburgh plunges just like, man,
I want water rides up right, And he's just staring
at the plunge, just going all man, somebody's got tell
him about the lore of the logjammer, right.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
But Dunks would have loved gosh, man, you're right, he's
like everything.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Should have sat him down on one of those benches
and be like, you see right over there, that's where
the log jam.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
You want to talk about water rides, you know, let
me tell you that Pittsburgh plunge. There'sul be something called
log jam, Dunks. I mean, you would you would sit
in these logs or take you right down, and you know,
take these logs, you get all wet, Dunks, you would
have loved it. Big golden retriever out there. You've been
like playing playing.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
In the lake. Water can't keep him all of the water.
He's like Gorden Retriever at the lake. I wonder if
Dunks now has a taste of Kenny Wood and he's
gonna be going back like I gotta, I gotta hit
those water rides. Dunks bought. The season passed yesterday.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
No Dunks.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Also, you got a big red flowing mullet and you're
a giant human being. You going to Ken is not
gonna be the fun you think it is, because you're
gonna have to take a million pictures. Unless they put
you on the Pittsburgh Plunge and just tell you, hey, Bud,
you're good to ride all day. You don't have to
get out of the car.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Put in the front. He's the Steelers Golden Retriever. Dunk's
had a good time.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Cam Hayward said, it's a top class organization, the Steelers,
and they're doing everything right. Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Take you guys to Keddy Wood and that's what happens.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Hey, Pittsburgh has gotten another another shining award. We are
number one in the country for something according to a
new poll. You know, he's happened every now and then.
This one's a fancy one. We should be real proud
of this one. I think it's an upset that Pittsburgh's

would appreciate it if one day we could put some
pressed hams on the window up there, we could see
them from down here.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Okay, thanks, have a good day. You want us to
put pressed hands on the windows so you can see
it down the hill, Like pull our pants down, press
our butt cheets up against the window and see if
you can see it from down the hill here in Bridgeville.
Because like we're up on the top of a hill.
Rename it Ham Hill, man. We can't he glance up
(21:50):
that hill. You're gonna see some cheeks, Deal with it.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
It's Ham Hill.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
You're not gonna be able to see my ham, Bob's ham,
though you might have a chance.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
See he's got big.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Ham shining like a beacon up the hill. Hey, Pittsburgh's
number one, now amazing. We all know Pittsburgh's number one, right,
but this one, this was an upset.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
According to a new.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
The and it says the epic fireworks display from the
intersection of the city's three rivers, put on by the
world class Starfire Corporation, starts at nine to thirty five.
That's right. We've talked about this for a couple of
years now. Zambelli doesn't do Fourth of July anymore in Pittsburgh.
We're okay with the Starfire is still kind of local.
(23:46):
It's between junk Johnstown and punks Tawny there.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Hey, wow, we're kind of on a heater from the
National Spotlight. I mean, yeah, we hammered the draft nationally.
Everybody looked at Pittsburgh. He's like, what an amazing place.
And then they now they're hearing about the Fourth of
July dominating the Fourth of July.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
All right, So USA today says Pittsburgh's number one best
Fourth of July celebration in the United States of America.
But this year, what's Mayor Chore O'Connor doing this? This
is first fourth of July is mayor and it's USA
two fifty. Right. He's not playing around, he said. Didn't
he say something like, I just do it big? He said,
(24:25):
I dropped. He dropped a bar on everybody.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
I think, if you're gonna.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Do anything big, especially in Pittsburgh, it's fireworks.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
This is gonna be the largest display we've ever had.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
And for the first time ever, there's gonna be a
drone show after the fireworks. Fourth of July.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Jesus, just when you're spent, you think it's all over,
the grand finale happened to the fireworks.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Sending the drought.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
He's already been voted that we have the best Fourth
of July celebration in the entire country. Okay, that's flag
has been planted, that's been established. And then Mayor choreo'connor
is like, you think that's cool. Watch, Uh, there's gonna
be a drone show after the fireworks. Oh you think
that's cool.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
How about a ninety foot ferris wheel, no fair, Oh, fourth.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Of July ferris weel drop it, drop it in overlooking
the city.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
It's like a This isn't a permanent ferris wheel though, right,
we're not there yet. It will be soon. How about
an eighty foot tall hot air balloon. It's gonna hover
over the city. Jesus, we got hot air blood, Joe.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Did you mean to tell me we're number one already
for Fourth of July?
Speaker 1 (25:29):
We're going all out, buddy, Paris wheel, hot air balloon
in a.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Post fireworks drone show. Jeez, listen, whoever's doing it.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Mayor core O'Connor, visit Pittsburgh, number one, whoever's behind all
the Fourth of July stuff?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Number one?
Speaker 1 (25:44):
You mean to tell me we're better than Philadelphia?
Speaker 3 (25:48):
That's where the country was bored.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
And we took it from him. We said, oh, I
think you can do fireworks. Nobody doesn't like Pittsburgh number
one in the entire country. All right, well around to
say something nice coming up next, try to get you
in a good mood going into the weekend. Also, new
music Friday here on the station. Got the brand new
song from Nile Horn coming up around eight am. And

warnings up until this point. Yeah, it's it's real now though,
show you know, I mean it's it's basically like I
(27:12):
think the most you're gonna get caught with this is
red lights. Like if you're on a red light and
there's copper album, like, they might be looking for people
on their phone at a red light.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Now, you're not supposed to be on your phone.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
You're not supposed to touch your phone at all when
you're driving. The only exception is if it's an emergency
and you have to call nine one one for your car.

and he beat cancer. He's having a time.
Speaker 13 (28:17):

out all the customer service reps on the phone who
help us navigate that complicated bureaucracy and get to the
right doctors, yeah, the right nurses and deal with us
being frustrated.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
It's perfect, guys, beautiful, say something.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Nice, say something very thankless job it is. It's the
customer service who has to navigate the the you know,
the United States of America's healthcare assistant which is way
beyond broken, and they're just trying to find the best
solution in a very very broken system. All right, let's
(28:54):
get to another say something nice message, Say something nice,
say something nice.
Speaker 8 (29:03):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, I would like to say something

is that keep that spark alive. Your wife wants ice cream. Yeah,
it's in the freezer.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
You get it out, hard as a rock, set it
on the kitchen counter and goes. You know, it's hard.
You know he was so thankful she came out of
her way and left us a message. You bought it.
You know what you gotta do though, Now when you're
scoop and ice cream and it's frozen, though, you gotta
take the ice cream scoop kitchen sink turn out as
hot as it goes, so then it's like a hot
(30:08):
knife through butter.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
That's you're you're.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
Shaking your head. You are, I know, I know this right,

is a question that was posed by one of our
(31:13):
favorite onlineionsers, our buddy Brandon. Yeah. Again, we play clips
of this guy on the show all the time. He
is on an absolute YenS er heater on the internet.
This guy has a big handlebar mustache. Right, I'm not
sure if he's an uncle yet. He's gonna be an
awesome uncle one day. Listen. I want him to be
(31:33):
our uncle. I do feel like we're older than him,
but I somehow wanted him to be my weird yins
er uncle.
Speaker 11 (31:41):
Right. I know.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
So, he just posts a lot of videos online, and
you know, we've been playing a lot of them on
the show. It's just super Pittsburgh. You can look him
up on Instagram tourists look up is his name on Instagram?
His real name is branded And he posed a question
that I think maybe some injurs, you know, they thought
of themselves.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
What the hell is the Larson are?
Speaker 15 (32:04):
Right?
Speaker 1 (32:04):

Speaker 1 (32:05):
What the heck of Zara Larson is.

Speaker 6 (32:12):
Like is that a place or a person or a
thing like you, U, Zara Larson? You're You're on the
Zara Larson. I don't know what the heck anybody's talking about.

Martini's down on the South Side and caused a kerfuffle
or something like that.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Like what happened to Billy ah Man? Billy got into

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Two counts Like what happened to Billy Man?
Speaker 3 (32:52):
Billy got in this last night?
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Well what what happened?
Speaker 16 (32:55):
Oh man?
Speaker 6 (32:55):
They got him on one count disorderly conducting two counts.
Speaker 1 (32:59):

one Kiss, we will once again play the brand new
Taylor Swift song from Toy Story five, I Knew It,
I Knew You. Coming up around nine am right now
though it's the brand new song from Nile Horn called
Taste So Good. Hi, Hi, Radio You Music Friday. Hi,
it's not Lauren. Remember yesterday on the show, we were
(33:42):
talking about how you're a psychopath if you do uh
sock shoe sock shoe instead of sock sock shoe shoe
when you're putting your socks and shoes on. Let's get
to this talkback message here on the Kiss Morning Freak Show.
It to Mikey and Bob, brought to us by One
Team Media.
Speaker 15 (33:59):
Just had a little story about your serial killer.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Yeah, you're a serial killer if you do sock shoe,
sock shoe. Yeah, uh theme. When I was a teenager,
I would get dressed in this manner. Left sock, underwear.
Hold on, I'm gonna stop you right now. What left?
So you're naked and then you go time to get dressed,
left sock and then go up to the underwear.
Speaker 15 (34:21):
Underwear, undershirt, undershirt, right sock, right socks going on? Now
pants pants, overshirt, overshirt.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
That's all. Happy birthday, mob, not Bob's Birthday's birthday's New
Year's day. How many kills do you got? Seriously? Where
are the body's buried? Dude? I always wondered who the
Smiley faith killer was. Attention Pittsburgh police. Go to the
cold case files. He did all of them. He did
all of them. I got my left sock on now,
undid me time to put on underwear?
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Jesus man, what's next week? Wear shirt? We got real.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
Killers walking amongst us and listening to our our program here, Bob,
all right, your chance to win twenty five hundred dollars
is coming up next year on the Kiss Morning Free Show.
Real quick, let's go down to uh Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (35:09):
A police officer got arrested there because he pulled his
gun out on another officer. This happened at the police Department.
Myrtle Beach. Forty six year old officer was at the
headquarters and he got into a dispute with the patrolman. Wait,
so this is like office lady stuff. There's an office dispute.
There's an office dispute with a couple of officers here.
(35:31):
One of them confronted the guy and uh, and he
pulled out his handgun on him.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Wow, you'd think that like some type of you know,
I've watched enough Chicago PD over the years, like some
type of corruption or like, yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
What, right, Yeah, likething like that. Yeah, there's there's a
dirty cop on the forest or something like I.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Got you, I got you.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
I know what you did, pull a gun out in
the office officer on officer.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
The guy pulled the gun on the other.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Officer because, uh, he warmed up fish in the microwave.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
It's a malid response. By the way, he was arrested.
Only a monster puts fish in the microwaves.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Charged with a felony because you know, it's a felony
if you pull a firearm on somebody like that. And again,
this is in a police department. This is officer on officer,
a coworker. I gotta be honest, I'm on the felony
guy's side.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
He didn't shoot anybody. Nobody got hurt.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
That microwave fish is gonna stick up that office for hours,
if not days.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
Anybody that microwaves fish in any sort of office communal
setting does deserve to have.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
A firearm pointed in their face.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Okay, I'm not saying don't use it, use them, Okay,
scared straight, shoot him in the foot if you need to.
All right, we don't microwave fish around here. Don't do it.
It is almost worse to microwave the fish than to
actually pull a gun on somebody. Nice out there today,
(37:02):
even though we will see some rain this weekend, mix
the sun and clouds today with highs in the mid
to upper eighties. It's mikey Abob the ninety six to
one Kiss Morning Free Show. We have your chance to
go to next week's Whiz Khalifa MGK show at Star Lake, which,
by the way, if you're going to that, go early
carpool if you can.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
They're expecting pretty pretty packed. Yeah, it's not sold out.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Yeah, it's gonna be close to a sellout, if not
an actual sellout. So you know, with these big star
Lake shows, you know obviously plan accordingly, Bob, we were
talking earlier yesterday on the show and then some today
on the show about how you know people that put sock, socks,
shoe shoe that you're doing it right, but people who
(37:46):
put sock shoe sock shoe are what are you doing?
You're or any other thok let's get to this talkback
message brought to us by the Pavement group. What's going on, Mike, Bob.
This is Francis here from Charlotte. Yeah, Bud, and.
Speaker 17 (37:58):
I was kissed from on the podcast yesterday. And you know,
we're talking about people that put on their shoes sock shoe,
sock shoe versus sock sock shoeshoe. And as someone who
married someone who puts on one sock and one shoe
at a time.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Hey, let me just tell you too, that's real love
right there, because you you saw the behavior. You said, wow,
she I gotta keep an eye on her. She might
be a serial. It had to be stunning at first.
By the way, Hey, it's almost something that might break
your relationship, but that's Hey, that's real love right there.
If you stick with somebody who's doing sock shoe sock shoe,
(38:33):
her logic is, oh, she's gonna explain it that.
Speaker 17 (38:37):
If something were to happen in the middle of doing so,
she had at least one foot fully protected. Okay, and
I agree, serial killer mentality, but I still love her
and always will.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Okay, all right, well, it could possibly happen where you
need one foot protected.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
It's like the same mentality when you're picking a side
of the bed to sleep on and you pick the
side that's furthest from the door because you're like, well,
if somebody breaks in, they'll kill my significant other. I'll
go a second. I'll be able to watch the horror
I'm fold in front of me. I gotta put on
sock shoe, so I have one shoe ready.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
But you got a bare foot of that just in case.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
I would rather run with Okay, let's say that this
scenario plays out. Yeah, Yeah, you're getting dressed, but all
of a sudden, somebody breaks into your house and is like,
you better run one shoe on. I would rather run
with two socks on. I'm gonna be faster with two
socks than with one.
Speaker 3 (39:29):
Shoe and in a bare foot, right.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
Yeah, yeah, it's actually not gonna make me any faster
and nothing. Nothing's gonna speed me up.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
Buddy.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
It doesn't matter what side of the bad you pick.
It doesn't matter what's on your feet. You're gonna be caught.
If somebody wants to get you, bop, they're gonna catch you.
All right, here's your chance to go to the Whiskalifa MGK.
Speaker 3 (39:50):
Show next week.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
Next Wednesday's gonna be a party out at Star Lake.
Speaker 6 (39:56):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
It's Whiskalifa MGK in town. Next Wednesday, Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 3 (40:01):
Hi, who's this? Mikayla? How are you this morning? Everything
going good?
Speaker 1 (40:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (40:06):
How are you pretty good?
Speaker 7 (40:07):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (40:07):
You know I feel good. I got good news for
you too. Next Wednesday, you're gonna see Whisky Leaf MGK or.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
Cardine whoo Ti.
Speaker 18 (40:15):
We're sitting in car peckup?
Speaker 3 (40:17):
Oh nice?
Speaker 1 (40:18):
All right, yeah, just hold on one second, We'll get
you all the details. Okay, thank you.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
No, Bob, I want to take.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Everybody to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, okay. And
I also want to say that me and you were
on top of this, this is a big deal. The
headline here Carnegie Museum paleontologist leads discovery.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
Of a nude dinosaur species. We're finding new dinosaurs.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Wow, senior palaeontologist at the museum. They discovered new species
of a dinosaur in in China. It's a velociraptor like
dino that can that that could have that could glide
uh huh and feed on prehistoric birds and other small animals.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
Did you see this thing? By the way, it looks
like a pokemon.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
They are saying that it helps fill the evolutionary gap
between birds and dinosaurs. Now, I watched a dinosaur special
on Netflix months ago, and I came.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
In here and I was spitting facts.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Is this news about?
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Is this news of this new discovery about to send
you down the dinosaur wormhole?
Speaker 1 (41:30):
It's not. It's just it's verifying what I was telling everybody.
You were the one guy.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
You were the guy who watched the dinosaur special and
then became a dinosaur expert.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
I came in here and just told everybody, Hey, we
live with dinosaurs. We see dinosaurs every day. Birds are dinosaurs?
Have birds or dinosaurs? You've been telling me that birds
are dinosaurs? You have been research in recent decades has
taken dinosaurs from scaly monsters to the feathered ancestors of
modern birds. Not all dinosaurs when to extinct birds here
(42:00):
today are descendants of dinosaurs.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
So they did find a new dinosaur.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
But it's not like these big t rex or try
Sarah Toobbs Bronosaurus looking thing. It's a smaller thing, right, Yeah,
So they find this small dinosaur and they go, this
is kind of like a bird here, And they're like,
if birds are dinosaurs and we got the big.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
Scary this one is the one.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
I think. It's almost like a chicken sive maybe a lot.
This is like the one in between the revolutionary stuff
like that. And they said they can use the information
to better understand why birds were the most successful flying
dinosaurs and why were the only dinosaurs to survive the meteor.
You've been saying this for a while, ahead of how's
(42:42):
ahead of my time with with birds or dinosaurs? You know,
I'm telling me this like, hey, they found the one.
They found the one that's just like, yeah, this is
kind of a dinosaur, kind of a bird too. This
is the one they found, the one that linked this
Story together and it's got a Pittsburgh Tyetoo Carneggie Museum
in natural History up. Tell you we have a stupid
show and me and Bob don't take a lot of
(43:03):
things serious. You're gonna learn, You're gonna learn you are
you are you are Burger dinosaurs. But you're gonna like
wasn't wrong. It's New music Friday here on ninety six
to one kiss. We have the brand new Taylor Swift
song from Toy Story five coming up around nine am. Also,
we got to inform the winner of our schlide Deck
and fence Deck Dot Deck party. Uh. We gotta call
(43:26):
our winner for that. This is like a big deal
this morning. We will get to that and also your
chance to go to our iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas
around nine ten.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
It's Mikey and Bob just a ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Amount of things happening in and around the uh this city,
uh this week, and of course it all kicks off today.
Morgan Wallen is in town playing tonight and tomorrow. His
merch opens up at noon. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
As by the way, his merch, the bear it's got
it's wearing a seven. So yeah, take that for what
you May for the walkout. It's gonna be Ben Roethlisberger
for the walkout, right, I guess.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
I mean there might be other you know, looking at
Cam Heyward or somebody involved, but I feel like Ben
Roethlisberger is going to be one of the people or
the person who walks out with Morgan wall In at
the beginning, right, the morganwall little mascots wearing a number
seven jersey. There's only one number seven, Okay, all right,
we'll see. And then of course it's Pride Pride Pittsburgh weekend,
(44:22):
so a lot of things happen in Pride Parade gonna
be popping off. Also at the convention Center, it's a
little comic con action right, three Rivers, Comic Conn at
the Convention Center this weekend.
Speaker 3 (44:33):
Just a lot of stuff going on, Arts Fest, Arts.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Fest at Art Landing. Yeah. We were also talking earlier
on the show about how there is a new USA
Today pol that says Pittsburgh is the number one city
in the United States best Fourth of July festival out
of all cities. Like they're taking in New York, all
of it, Philadelphia birthplace US. You're right, Pittsburgh's number one,
(45:01):
according to a new poll in USA Today, And then
we were talking about Fourth of July.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
You know, this year, Mayor Corey O'Connor's in charge.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
Now there's gonna be a drone show after the fireworks
on fourth of July. There's also gonna be a ninety
foot ferris wheel. Okay, yeah, yeah. There's also gonna be
an eighty foot tall hot air balloon. It's gonna hover
over the city. Hell yeah, Hey, we're doing it big
fourth year. We just won best Fourth of July and
we're adding a ferris wheel on a hot air balloon. Geez,
(45:32):
sounds awesome. Hey, number one, let's get to a talkback
message here, brought to us by One Team Media.
Speaker 9 (45:39):
Hey, Mike and Bob, your friend Mandliota here.
Speaker 10 (45:42):
Hi.
Speaker 9 (45:42):
You know the USA Today article, they were right, like
Pittsburgh is great four fourth of July, but they forgot
the one thing that makes it the best. We have
the furze and this year we have them on the fourth.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
Oh my god, I'm a good day.
Speaker 9 (45:58):
Boys.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
She's absolutely right. They didn't even mention that in the
USA Today article. It might be one of the best
things about fourth and drives. I have even a sentence
in there about it. I mean it was. It was
covered on the Pit. Maybe this is also why USA
Today is recognizing Pittsburgh as the number one place in
the country for Fourth of July celebrations. Maybe they just
saw the episodes of The Pit and it's just like, man,
(46:20):
Pittsburgh's got a lot going on for Fourth of July.
But yeah, we got the furries too. We got drones,
fireworks and furry I guess I never considered this, but
it's not that far fetched. We got the best damn
Fourth of July celebration in the United States of America. Really, Hey,
don you mess with us. We really knew, we really do.
Speaker 3 (46:39):
Who works?
Speaker 1 (46:40):
Ferris Wheels all popping off? All right, it is New
Music Friday. Here on ninety six to one.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Kiss.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
If you haven't heard it yet, here is the brand
new song by Taylor Swift for toy Story five.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
Kiss is an iHeartRadio World premiere.
Speaker 1 (47:00):
Out in Vegas in September. It's our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Fenton Boone, Zara Larson, Cardi, b Bts, Snoop Dogg, Major Laser, Freaking,
Googo Dolls, Googo Doll, Lady Wilson, and a lot more.
You can win a thousand dollars gift card in a
full trip to Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival. Just
(47:21):
be listening for a keyword here in just a couple
of minutes. It's Mikey Bob the ninety six to one
Kiss Morning Freak Show. We've been talking about how me
and Bob personally think you are somewhat of a psychopath
if when you're getting dressed you put on sock shoe,
sock shoe instead of sock, sock, shoe, shoe.
Speaker 3 (47:42):
So let's get to this message.
Speaker 8 (47:44):
Micky Bob, Mikey, I was just listening and you said
you'd rather run with a sock and a shoe.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
I would rather run with socks on than one bare
foot in one foot with a sock and a shoe on,
you know, because somebody tried to fend wasn't Many's girlfriend
that they put one sock, one shoe out a time
in case they case they need to run, case they
need to get away, or something happens. Which doesn't even
make sense now.
Speaker 8 (48:10):
But if you think about it, if you're running on
like hard floors, you could slide on a sock. So
I think it would be better to run on a barefoot.
Speaker 16 (48:18):
I a socked foot.
Speaker 8 (48:20):
I disagree, So run on barefoot and shoe right.
Speaker 1 (48:25):
No, I I'm not gonna start switching the way that
I put my socks and shoes on, because well, somebody
could come in and chase me on a newly waxed
wooden floor.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
And also, what in the cartoon is going on where
you're flying?
Speaker 1 (48:44):
Sorry, let's talk about chickens and dinosaurs now, Okay, we
learned earlier that there is a new dinosaur and it's
sort of the go between between dinosaurs and birds.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
I had a feeling when I first saw this story
that this is going to spiral up. Yeah, last time
dinosaurs be part of the show.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
It did.
Speaker 3 (49:01):
Yeah, had very much the same effect.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Senior dinosaur paleotologist at Carnegie Museum of Natural History CO
had a team of scientists that discovered a new species
of dinosaur that's kind of bird like in in China.
And this is the evolutionary gap between dinosaurs and birds. Because,
like I said before, because I watched a special on
Netflix a couple months ago, birds are dinosaurs, all right?
(49:24):
You think them? Science Museum people were listening to utell
them the bird and that ole man and over at
Museum and Natural History. They're probably just like, hey, we.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
Gotta find out more about these dinosaurs and birds here.
Speaker 1 (49:35):
Okay, so let's get to this talkback message he brought
to us by one team media.
Speaker 3 (49:39):
A Mikey involved.
Speaker 18 (49:40):
I just wanted to leave a message about the article
that you were talking about with the birds or dinosaurs,
and I just wanted to say that I watched a
video one time there we go of a group of
chickens attacking a mouse, and ever since then, I'm convinced
that if chickens were like five feet tall, humans would
not be around.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Uh, they would be absolutely terrifying. Now I agree with that,
but I also agree that there's a lot of things
that can take us out.
Speaker 3 (50:11):
There's a lot of things in the animal kingdom that
if they.
Speaker 1 (50:13):
All got together and decided, you know what, one of
the big ones is Mosquitos.
Speaker 3 (50:19):
If Mosquitos ever.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
I mean, don't start talking to each other and say, hey,
we should have this planet for our own, they can
just eat us all. A dumb deer could kill you
if it wanted to. Well, yeah, but you know, like
we listen, we're dealing with in the country right now.
We don't need five foot chickens that eat humans. We
don't need it.
Speaker 3 (50:39):
Can you imagine five foot chicken wings?
Speaker 7 (50:41):
Though?
Speaker 1 (50:41):
Oh whoa, that sounds scary. Wonder what kind of oh
my god, maybe we do. All right, let's start filling
these chickens with some human growth hormones.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
See how big we can make them, and then hopefully
they don't kill us all.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
We could just eat them. Man, this is a Friday
show right here. Five foot tall chicken les sound scary
but very delicious. Five foot tall chicken nuggets might be
the name of the podcast today too. All right, here's
your chance to win a trip to Vegas at one
thousand dollars gift card.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
Good luck. Now what it is, Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
Let's get to another talkback message brought to us by
the Pavement Group.
Speaker 16 (51:18):
Mikey and Bob. It's Christine from Industry. Hey, you think
the fish in the microwave is a bad thing? I
used to work with this, gentleman.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Okay, here we go. We're about to We're about to
do let me outgross the microwaves.
Speaker 2 (51:30):
Yeah, we had a story earlier of a guy who
pulled a gun out well, a police officer pulled a
gun out on another officer because he was microwave and
fish in the office.
Speaker 1 (51:38):
Which is almost understandable even though he got hit with
a felony charge.
Speaker 16 (51:41):
He thought it was a good idea to go to
a Dollar Tree and get canned sardines.
Speaker 3 (51:46):
Jesus God, this listen.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
You can't buy sardines from Dollar Tree or any sardines.
Tell me they didn't end up in the microwave lunch.
Speaker 16 (51:55):
He said at his desk, and would eat them open
a cannon monster and then leave the container with the
stinky juices in his garbage can.
Speaker 3 (52:03):
He left the juice.
Speaker 16 (52:04):
It didn't happen after everybody found out.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
Yeah, it was horrible.
Speaker 16 (52:08):
I have an awesome day. I love you guys.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
Yeah, that's sardine juice. That's I mean, not even like
stink for days. I don't eat sardines. I've had sardines.
They're not a post right, twee. I'm not getting sardines
on pizza or anything like that. But I'm just I'm
not a sardine connoisseur in a confined space in an
office though, Like I'm just I'm just saying, though, if
(52:31):
you're if you got a hankering for the sardines. Well,
guess I better go to Dollar Tree, Dude. I'm not
even worried about the smell in the office. I'm worried
about your body. I'm worried about you dying.
Speaker 3 (52:45):
Dollar Tree sardines.
Speaker 1 (52:48):
Let's hear from our buddy Weed, Nico Weed, Nico listened
to the show over in the state of Washington. Totally
different time zone over there on the West coast, West Coast, Nico, Right, Yeah,
Wenicos in California.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
Wow, get to him here.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
No, boys, we need to go for was Itton. Man.
Speaker 7 (53:06):
I'm down here, Kelly, doing some tradeing for work. I
walk into Boiled Daddy Cajun Seafood.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Boiled Daddy Cajun Seafood. That just sounds like a place
you trust, you know, you know it's good. That's way
better than Dollar Tree sardines.
Speaker 7 (53:22):
Man, they got Matt Miller Cinderella playing on the speakers
right now, So I am playing this ain't the Khalifa
Kush I just picked up at the dispensary talking for real.
Matt Miller Cinderello playing on the speakers right now.
Speaker 10 (53:35):
Miss that dude, Yeah, we miss him too. He can't
escape Pittsburgh. Yeah, all right, Well, where you go. I
have a good weekend. But hey, movies this weekend. Uh,
scary movie.
Speaker 1 (53:46):
Is gonna gonna win. Right, they're saying it's probably gonna
make about, uh what forty million. I can't believe they're
still doing scary movies.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
Yeah, good for Wayne's brothers, just collecting cash. Do you
see the popcorn bong?
Speaker 1 (53:59):
No? Yeah, you know everybody's got a weird popcorn bucket. Yeah,
scary movie's got a bong functional. Well, I think it's plastic.
I take it home. You can't smoke.
Speaker 3 (54:10):
Out of a plate.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
You're gonna burn. I don't know what's a bong?
Speaker 3 (54:16):
What is this? I don't know?
Speaker 1 (54:17):
Why is this thing? An annoysed movie? When you hit
a bell?
Speaker 3 (54:23):
Uh? And uh, it.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
Looks like back Rooms is going to be competing for
second with uh he Man Masters of the Universe. Now,
me and Bob, you know, grew up in the eighties.
That's when he Man was cooking.
Speaker 3 (54:36):
He Man RYO. I feel like that was that should
be appealing.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
Dos right. I have no desire to see the he
Man movie at all, not really, not at all. Scary
movie over the he Man movie. I see back Rooms
in all of them. But if I had to go
to the movies this weekend, I'm going to see Man
Laurie and Grog again. Mike's made his pick, but just
pick us in just to let it everybody, No to
