Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, the ninety six one Kiss Morning Freak Show. There
are two things specifically that are healing me right now. Okay,
all right. First one, the New York Knicks win the
NBA Championship. That's whatever. I know. We don't got a
ton of NBA fans here in Pittsburgh. The Carolina Hurricanes
(00:21):
also won the Stanley Cup last night. A lot of
stuff going on this weekend, dude, the Knicks fans. It's
universal joy. Though. Nicks fan videos make me believe in peace.
They like they make me believe that we're all not
that different in different races and backgrounds, can come together
and we can all live in a functioning society where
(00:42):
we love one another. And then there's World Cup tourist videos.
Oh my, dude, Knicks fan videos in World Cup tourist
videos are healing me right now. I haven't felt this
joy on the internet in so long. I My timeline
is full of people from foreign countries coming over here
(01:04):
for the World Cup. They're not coming over for one match,
Like I don't think some people don't understand that other
countries take holiday, right right, Well, they're gone for a month,
they're here for weeks, all right, See you and they're
on a full tour everything from like your local gas
station and being stunned by all the different sides of
drinks that we have. I watched some English guy drinking
(01:25):
a cream soda yesterday and I thought he was gonna
ascend to the heavens.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Did I watch some guy at a gas station?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
You know they got the cups where you get large,
extra large, and then it's just like that's like, yeah,
it's just completely mind blowing.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah. I saw some French guy getting free refills on
his coffee and he didn't know. He like thought it
was illegal. He didn't know what was happening. And then
there was the post. Did you see the post about
the uh uh? The people? I think it was Japanese
fans that went to a Mexican restaurant and they brought
the chips out in salsa first, and they were very confused.
(02:03):
They're like, we didn't order this, you know, just like this,
I gotta find that post man part of our order.
New York Knicks fans and foreigners are the man. I'm
telling you, they are feeling something inside of me right now. Hey,
we had a weekend here in Pittsburgh. Oh man, the
Pittsburgh Police scanner had some wild stuff this weekend coming
(02:25):
up around six twenty five. We had a naked guy
in a park and a live alligator. They weren't related,
but they both make the Pittsburgh Police skin around six
twenty five to bike you, Bob Kiss. If you're looking
for us to cover or even really talk about what
happened at the White House last night, you've come to
(02:46):
the wrong place. If you're a fan of Joe Rogan,
what are you doing? You shouldn't be after today. Just
awful blatant racism. It's awful looking up if you want,
we ain't talking about it on our show. We're bringing
the good vibes. It's Mikey Bob the ninety six to
one Kiss Morning Free Show. Dude, it his good vibes.
On Saturday, Man Saturday, we were out at FNB Stadium.
(03:10):
That's where the River Hounds and the Riveters play. It's
called FNB Stadium. Now, all right, we all got to
get used to that the new name. It ain't high
Mark anymore. It's FNB Stadium whatever. Right, But listen, this
isn't like, oh we got that's it's gonna be FNB
stadium when the Hans do the big makeover and everything
like that. So that's all I'm saying. Get used to it, dude.
(03:31):
It was a whole vibe that was awesome.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Friday night, it was. It was the best. It was
just all ages, all races, families, college kids, it was
just everybody. Every like those good vibes that everybody seems
to be looking for right now. Every walk of life
in our city was coming to hang out. It was yeah. Man,
it was so cool. And the US gets a massive
(03:54):
win in their opening match of the World Cup four
to one over Paraguay. Uh yeah, we were part of
it at the FNB Stadium there. They said like about
five thousand, little more than five thousand fans. Yeah, it
was pretty It was a good time, man. Everybody was
just on the pitch having having just good vibes watching USA.
They let everybody down on the field just to hang out. Yeah.
(04:16):
It brought like blankets and towels to sit down on it.
It was cool. Man.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I am so locked into the World Cup. That be
the city of that stadium too. It's just amazing.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
It's I'm so locked in on the World Cup, man,
I'm so locked in like I'm watching stupid stuff. I'm
watching countries that I don't even know where they are
on it if it's on your watching today at noon,
Spain plays They're a soccer powerhouse. Guess who they play,
Cabo Verde. I don't Yeah, Cabo Verde. It might be
(04:44):
the first time I'm even hearing that. Cabo Verde. Yeah,
colo Verde. Man, Yeah, that's what they're playing, Cabo Verde. Yeah,
that's whole thing. I'm locked in on. World Cup. Man,
it was so much fun. Thank you everybody who came
out on Saturday and hung out with us. Game is
high five took a picture with us that was, like
you said, Man, it's the vibes everybody wants to feel
right now. It's tourists coming to the USA for the
(05:06):
first time. It's Nicks fans celebrating and coming together, you know,
And I think that's what events like that do. They
bring people together. The thing that happened at the White
House last night is the exact opposite of tourists coming
to the USA, Knicks fans celebrating. Ages don't matter, races
(05:28):
don't matter, don't matter. Yeah, Yeah, it's Kaba Vernon. By
the way, country in Africa. Yeah, amazing, looking like beaches
and stuff. Holy crap, what a what a magical place.
Hight everybody, We're moving to Cabo Verdee, let's go coming
up next on the show, Pittsburgh Police Scanner Head a
hell of a weekend. We will just start coming up
(05:51):
next with a naked guy in the park and a
live alligator. Those are two separate stories. We'll get to
that next round. Six twenty five also got a chance
for you to win our Warren tickets this morning. Listen
for your keywords around seven thirty, nine thirty. It's mike Yambobs.
I'm Mikey. Bob concas Well had a good run here Pittsburgh.
(06:13):
But it appears Bob, we've lost Bob already for the show.
He's now looking at the African country, Cabo Verde, and
he's telling me we're moving. It's over. We're all right it.
I had a good run here. We're moving to Africa.
I found Santa Maria Beach in Cabo Verde. It's mike
Yambob the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show.
From time to time on the show, we will cover
(06:33):
things that are posted by the Pittsburgh Police Scanner account.
It's a couple of people. We met one of the
guys before, great dude, and they just listened to Pittsburgh
Police Scanner and then they post on social media about it.
They got their own website, pghdash scanner dot com. A
lot of the stuff that doesn't make the normal news.
Let's find out what is happening through the eyes of
the Pittsburgh Police scanner in and around our city, Oakland
(06:56):
over the weekend. Shenley Park tops are currently chasing a
naked guy through the park and enjoy your weekend the
Shenley five K. That's not listen man some with all man.
I don't think this was a felt I don't think
this was a charity race. I don't know maybe if
(07:17):
it was. If it was, there was only one person
participating in it. The pants all five K. It's not
five knt be able to breeze. Was good weather through Yeah,
also happened to get it around our city burn Though
south side East Carson Street. Callers said some guys walking
(07:41):
around with a live alligator, offering passerbys to take a
picture with it for five bucks. We got a guy, dude,
we have a gator. South Side gator guy. Man, oh
my goodness, hold on though, there's a follow up the
south Side gator guy. So he's got live alley gear
on south Side, get him a damn camp care and
(08:02):
put him outside the Burking and saying, just dude, that'd
be awesome. Put him on the sidewalk outside the Burking
tourist attraction. Dude, I saw some British guy go to
south Side Burk. That guy is just look this what
used to be a real poke of king and then
it wasn't a real Polka king, and they would set
out the whole backstory. Hold on though, because we have
(08:24):
a follow up now to the uh the guy on
the alligator with the you know, on East cars the
street in the south Side with the alligator telling everybody
get a picture with live alligator for five bucks. The
update through the Pittsburgh Police scanner says cops arrived on
scene and let everybody know there's a dude with an alligator.
(08:47):
Seems to be legal, my god, so they're just letting
it happen. The side hustle's real, man, Hey, get side
hustles real. So outside gator died, no harm, no foul.
Hopefully he made dude, you know what. Hey, wait till
Raccoon Kim shows up with a kangaroo. Oh my gosh, dude,
you know what needs to happen. Gator Uh, gator guy here,
(09:09):
five dollars for a picture with an alligator. He needs
to set up shop outside like every Pittsburgh sporting event,
next to our buddy fun guy Flows, who goes the
freestyle rapping with the mushroom hat on. Yes, you can
get some raps, you can get a flow, and you
can get a picture with a navigator for five bucks.
That's what's happening in and around our city. Your chance
(09:31):
at Alex Warren Tickets around seven thirty and you could
win part of our two hundred and fifty k USA giveaway.
Twenty five hundred dollars up for grabs. Around eight ten.
It's Mikey and Bob ninety cass, I'm Mikey, you and

Speaker 1 (10:43):
I got pants on? Oh no, I loove chilliot this morning.
It's bit. It's gonna be sunny today with some clouds. Hi.
Hi's just around seventy degrees today. Shorts in the winter time,
not even enough to look at the pants. Okay, all right,
it's Mike Kimbob the ninety six one Kiss Morning Freak Show. Hey,
congratulations to former Pittsburgh Penguin Jordan Stall. My gosh, man,
(11:09):
are you kidding me? The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Vegas
Golden Knights. They are the Stanley Cup champions. You know
what's sad man is we lost hockey and basketball in
one weekend. I know there's not a lot of NBA
fans here, but losing two major sports in one weekend,
it's like we just have baseball now, looking at you.
World Cup? You got World Cup? Yeah, we do got
(11:29):
the World Cup. That's all right, man. Jordan Stall wins
the con smythe He is the oldest player to win
the Consmythe Trophy at thirty seven years old. His beard
was it was pirate, like, yeah, it was an amazing playoff.
Bear great judgehim out there. So happy for that dude.
You know, that's one of those guys that left Pittsburgh too,
where it was like all right, you know, it's good
(11:51):
you got traded. He's been with Caroline ever since and
now he's a Stanley Cup champion and the oldest player
to win the con Smythe Trophy. Congratulations to to Jordan Stall.
Let's get to a talkback message here, send him through
the free iHeartRadio. Appro to us by one Team Media.
Good morning, fellas, Happy Monday.
Speaker 6 (12:08):
The suspendy start about two questions, Erry One, is everyone
telling Bob happy birthday? The reason that you guys didn't
do birthday requests?
Speaker 1 (12:19):
No, no, we don't do we haven't let people just
on the show to randomly wish happy birthday to people,
because that just seems like a radio thing that's been
happening for years and years and years, and we started
our show, We're just like, all right, nobody's calling the
request songs. That's not a real thing where we don't
pick the music. I mean, everybody has a birthday, so
(12:40):
if we were to allow everybody to say happy birthday,
it would consume our show. You want to hear people
say happy birthday to somebody that you don't know for
five minutes, you know. So we just said, hey, you
know whatever, people, if you want to wish happy birthday, go,
you know. Okay, second part.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
And two, Bob, do people tell you happy birthday outside
of work or is that just like a radio thing?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Okay, No, they do, they do. No, they don't, dude.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
I had two people at the World Cup watch party
were at tell me happy.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Birthday in first they did. They did.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
It happens like not as often as when we're here,
but like, yeah, yeah, it happened again.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
It's a been a running joke on the show, and uh,
it's not stopping. I thought we'd be done. It's the
middle of June. I thought we'd be done by now.
Bob's birthday is New Year's Day. People are still wishing
him happy birthday from January. Thank you. It's not the
reason we don't do birthday shout outs on the show,
because if I told you, coming up next it's five
minutes a birthday, he wishes you would just leave, You
(13:39):
would leave, you would just leave it right. Yeah. Now,
if I tell you there's Kenny wood trauma coming up
next on the show, Righty wood Man movie, then you
might want to stick around for some of that. We'll
get to that for today in Freak Show History coming
up next, also your chance at twenty five hundred dollars.
This morning around eight ten, it's Mikey Bom today in
(14:00):
Freak Show History, with some Kennywood trauma coming up next
year the Kiss Morning Freak Show. It is uh, It's
Mikey and Bob. Do you remember last week on the show, Bob,
we're talking about the Jeopardy category that was just called
Pittsburgher's Yeah, and one of them was about the you
know the guy who made the Ferris wheel. He's from Pittsburgh, right,
(14:23):
We claimed the Ferris wheel. George Ferris is his name, right,
And we looked up that he died of typhoid, and
then we were just like, that doesn't seem like people
die from that. We figured out typhoid. I think right,
that's the old timey disease that he died from. But
hold on, though, because we have some experts that listen
to our show. Our buddy doctor Alex wants to chime
(14:44):
in here.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, it's Alex, your favorite Pittsburgh public
health guy. The other day, you guys covered in the
Pittsburgh Jeopardy category, I mentioned George Ferris, the Ferris Wheel
and how he died of typhoid.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Fun fact about typhoid. Here we go. Fun fact about typhoid.
Happy Monday morning, everybody. Fun fat have to about typhoid
Coming in from doctor Alice, Here we go.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
It spreads through the fequal oil round, meaning you got
to eat it. We actually eliminated it with clean water sanitation.
Now we've antibiotics too, which is great, none of which
poor George had. But I guess next time that you
ride a Fierce Wheel, you can pour one out for George.
He gave us a great ride and didn't even get
clean water in return.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
George Ferris, the guy who made the Ferris wheel, died
because he was drinking poop of water. Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
So that's why we don't hear about typhoid anymore, huh,
or eating it? Geezoo, man, glad we got the Ferris
wheel before he drank the glad typhoid anymore.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Well, that's why you don't hear about typhoid anymore. And
let me tell you. If I forget typhoid, something's gone
horribly horribly wrong, all right. If anybody gets time boid,
something's gone horribly horribly wrong, all right. They just right
around seven o'clock time for today in Freaki history, take
you back to a moment the show that made us
laugh made a smile here.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
Yeah, go.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Get some Kennywood trauma here. Don't even really know where
this started, but we all have fond memories of Kennywood.
But there's always those times you go to Kenny Wood
where things don't really go as plan, or maybe you
didn't have a great day at Kennywood. We all have
some Kenny Wood trauma too, So let's get to this message.
Speaker 8 (16:30):
Kennywood trauma. Many moons ago, I used to work there
and one day I would take my break. I said,
kiddo's even like twenty minutes. I come back and I
do a little lap around the arcade to make sure
everything is tip top. There's a power of human back corner.
So I go up to the little glass counter. I'm like, kiddo,
does anything happen while I was gone? They're like, namous, Jess,
(16:51):
It's fine, We're good.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Was not things had gone bad after you left, Miss Jess.
Speaker 8 (16:57):
I said, y'all come here right now because you drop
the ball and I quit trusting teenagers that day.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
That'll do it, I would say, a little more than
the ball was dropped.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
You make me happy, Thanks, you make me smile. It
just it's your mustache, man, Like, everything you say is
so much better and funnier now that you have mustache.
I can't explain it, man, Thanks, anything happened while kiddos? Yeah,
Brad poop in the arcade? Have you been following the
(17:36):
German soccer fan Freddie in? Uh, he's down in Houston, Texas.
Now you've been following that guy and every time he
goes back to his hotel, the city of Houston has
given him. Dude, he got a JJ Watt signed Texans Jersey.
That's crazy, man, It's one of my favorite things on
the internet right now. It is Mikey and Bob the
ninety six to one Kiss the Morning Free Show. That's
(17:57):
how we started the show today. We said, there's a
couple of things that are bringing us real joy on
the internet right now, and it is h tourists coming
over to the United States of America for the World
cop and just discovering everything. Yeah, feel like, my gosh,
what this is? How big the pop is here? Like
what is happening? And then of course like Knicks fans
(18:19):
celebrating the championship in New York is unbelievable. There were
scenes over the weekend in New York that I didn't
think were possible. I thought this was only like what
happens in a movie when they beat the bad guy.
People rush into the city streets and start singing together. Dude,
(18:44):
what it's so fun to watch When humans get together,
they are unstoppable. Like when we're all together on the
(19:05):
same page, we are unstoppable. When we're divided, we ain't
that great. When we are all together on something and
coming together as humanity, it is such a beautiful thing
to see.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
I love that people just threw up projectors of the
Games on sides of buildings. Yeah, and then just tens
of thousands of people gathered, yeah that were in that neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
It just looks so much fun. Then they have nobody
came outside. Then yesterday they had the Puerto Rican Day
Parade in New York and I'm sitting there, I'm just like,
this is basically like the Avengers just be thanos, Like
it just gives you that those vibes, right, It's just
like this, these are scenes that I'm not seeing in reality. Ever.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Nick's pray is that Thursday Thursday. Yeah, that's gonna be
a wild scene. Nobody's gonna go to work Friday, right, Friday, Juneteenth,
a lot of people have off work.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Yeah, yeah, Hey, you know, if you're a religious person
and you pray, I want to pray for New York
on Thursday. They they're not going to rip the city
apart or anything like that, but there's some people who
are gonna be waking up feeling pretty bad on uh
on Friday morning. And then like watching all these tourists
from other countries come to the United States. I saw
(20:18):
that basically, the Scots have taken over Boston. They were
chanting just loudly at the Red Sox game. And yeah,
you remember that one viral cops slide in Boston that's
at Long Silver Slide that the down and just went flying. Yeah,
Scotts were sending people with full bagpipes playing down the
(20:38):
cops slide and Boston just amazing videos. And then I
saw this news, these news clips down in Dallas. Japan
was playing the Netherlands. They're hosting games down there where
the Cowboys play. Yeah, so the news was just talking
to uh, you know, fans from Japan. Excuse me, Okay,
I can English, but but but I'm baby. Look, I
(21:10):
want to feel this wandering up. Hold on, I'm not
done with the Japanese fans in Dallas yet. You wanted
to try in America? What was it? Yeah, what do
you want to try in America? It's a Japanese couple.
What do you want to try in America? They're on
the news in Texas right like, this's gonna be This
stuff doesn't happen a lot like a big Hamburger. Big Hamburger.
Speaker 9 (21:32):
Okay, we can help you with that. Nicoco, you said
you wanted to try.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
We're going to the woman now, Nicco beef, big beef.
She wants the big beef. Nicoka wants the big bees.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
That is hamburger, that is brisket. We can help you
out here in the right place if you want a
big beef.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
I want that. I wanted to, like, yeah, in the
right direction, Chris, don't let her down. Big beef. That's
what I want to. You wanted to. I wanted to.
What do you want big beef? What do you want
big beef? What do you want it? No, your chance
(22:11):
at Alex Warren tickets coming up around seven point thirty here. Also,
we'll get to another round of Pittsburgh Police Scanner. The
Alleghany West Wendy's had made the Pittsburgh Police scanner again.
We'll get to that around eight twenty five. It's Mike
You Bob big Bee Kiss Now, it is Mikey, It
is Bob the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show,
(22:33):
Love Island, USA.
Speaker 10 (22:34):
Man, Man, listen, I've already said that I'm not watching
this because it's too much of a commitment, and I
already have FOMO from not watching this show.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
I already I'm already, Like, man, I wish, I wish
I was watching it. I should be watching it like
every night except Wednesday. I know, it's too much of
a commitment going on going on with the show Love
Island Usay, the hideaways open, Okay, Now, the Hideaway is
sort of like the Fantasy Suite when we watched The
Bachelor and Bachelorette. Right, Yeah, that's a good thing to
(23:07):
compare it to. Love Island USA. Is basically like it's
what we've always called it, Bob, It's it's sex Island.
It is sex Islands. There is I feel like it's
a lot of sex, not so much of the hideaway.
And then the hideaway the private secluded bedroom like the
(23:27):
Fantasy Suite. Unleashing the Hideaway. It's the Fantasy Suite on steroids.
And I think this was like one of the earliest
they've ever sent a couple to the hideaway. Yeah, so
Zach and Cada were nominated to go to the hideaway.
The hideaway is where you know, the islanders decide as
a group who they want to send in and then
(23:49):
they go they go in there and you know, things happen, right,
But uh, there was a song that was sung This
is why we bring this up because there's a song
in Me and Bob were sitting in here singing it
like idiots to each other. They broke out into a
song as they were both walking into the hideaway. Listen,
when you go on the hideaway, this's early in Love
Island US. So you go whole cats breaks out into song.
(24:12):
You gotta celebrate it. What's over? Cheeks clapping cheeks, flap
chips in the hollway. What he's that? Yo? Clap them cheeks,
clip dem cheeks, clap damp cheeks in the.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Hideways, highway times cheeks cheats in the hot way.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Bad.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
They're both walking towards the hideaway, like, yeah, you remind
me of a baseball player going to a bat now batting.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Yeah, it's like ame like walk up right, do their
walk up music to the hideaway. It's like when the
bride and groom come into their and it's just clapped
them cheeks in the hideaways, except the door they're going
through is in for dancing and chicken farm and your
friends and family. You're just going on the hideaway to
clap the cheeks. Right. Hey, listen, there's.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
One thing we gotta do together as a country. We
cannot let these tourists that are over here from the
World Cups sniff out.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Love Island, USA. They ain't gonna go back, don't. Hey,
don't let them turn on the tv here they get
to clap them cheeks. Clap them cheeks, clip them cheeks,
clap damp cheeks in the hideaway. Hey. Thanks to everybody
(25:40):
who came out and hung out with me and Bob
on Saturday night at FMB Stadium for the uh for
the watch party team USA beating Paraguay and the World
Cup opener for the boys four to one. It was
like five thousand fans there with us. It's a good time.
It was fun. Next match for USA in the World
Cup is against Australia. Freem on a Friday. Let's go.
(26:04):
I'll tell you right now. If you're in charge of
a bunch of employees and everything, get it done by
three o'clock. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Friday, Hey, you know Juneteenth, you might already be off.
That's true, last two hours of the work weekend.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Let him go at the work week doesn't start Friday
five pm now three pm, so everybody can watch the
USA Australia match on Friday, It's Mikey Bob the Kiss
Morning Free Show. The Carolina Hurricanes are Stanley Cup champions,
shutting out the Vegas Golden Knights last night to win
(26:41):
the championship. You see, the coach Rob Brindemore won it
as a player for the Canes and now want it
as a coach for the Canes too. Yeah, yeah, I
I'm crying out there. And then former Penguin Jordan's Stall
the oldest to ever win the Consume Trophy. Congratulations to him.
And of course, over the weekend, in the New York
Knicks win their first NBA championship, you know, since like
(27:04):
the damn seventies in the city and the videos just
absolutely incredible. Like you don't even have to be a
Knicks fan or like watch basketball to just enjoy the
camaraderie of humans that's brought together in New York, the
joint excitement of the Knicks winning. That's how I imagine
the Pirates making a real playoff runt would be. Yeah,
(27:26):
Like we've like a lot of us have experienced the
Steelers win a Super Bowl. Yeah, a lot of us
have experienced Penguins Cups. As these years go by, though
there's a whole generation that have not you know, I know,
but like it's been years and years there. Well, the
Pirates could put together a run. We already saw how
crazy we go when they just had a winning record
(27:48):
and made like a wild card game together. You're right
the city for a deep Pirates bucked over playoff run.
The vibes would be vibes would be absolutely incredible. Point
State Park two projecting up on the hotel there. Man,
come on, we know what he can do. We know it, man,
come on, hey, tonight it should be pretty interesting. Uh.
(28:12):
I think the entire Knicks team and it says other
special guests are gonna be on uh with fallon tonight
on the Tonight Show, So that should be interesting. You
think like they're going to bring along like super Knicks
fans like Spike Lee and Timothy Shallibay and Ben Stiller
and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yeah, most of the team will be there, Tracy Morgan.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
They're probably all that. It's also says the audience for
the Tonight show tonight will be comprised of Dieharden Knicks
fans who were able unable to attend the finals in person.
So that'll be a whole thing if you want to
continue the New York party tonight on The Tonight Show.
And then Jalen Brunson, you know who is incredible. He
(28:55):
played at Villanova and he's won the championship with the Knicks.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
I mean, I don't watch much other than this finals.
Like that kind of got swept up in it is
he is? He quiet like that all the time.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
He's sort of a quiet dude. Yeah, he's an amazing
Player's unbelievable. When he was asked what's what he's gonna
do now that he's an NBA champion, he smiled and said,
try to go to SU SVU. He wants to be
on Law and Order SVU because he's he's great friends
with Mariska Hargatea, who of course plays Olivia Benson. That's it.
(29:28):
It's not I'm going to Disney World. It's not anything
like that. Try to go to SVU, is what. Jalen Brunson,
who just like just wants the guest appearance turned the
basketball world upside down, just wants to be on SVU.
Super Nick fan Timothy Shalloway too. Did you see Charlamayn
and Ben Stiller were in the locker room being sprayed
(29:48):
with champagne. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can't wait to see
the Ben Stiller cut. By the way, Ben Stiller has
been filming like the entire Playoffs, it feels like on
his iPhone it's part of a project that he's doing.
I would think Ben's with Ben Stiller. It's probably gonna
be Apple TV. But at some point we need the
Stiller cut of whatever he's been recording through these playoffs
(30:09):
right on his iPhone. Timothy Shallamy, super Knicks fan, was
asked after the championship would he rather have a Knicks
championship or an Oscar? He said, way, rather have this
than the Oscars. Come on, baby, Knicks are champions baby,
So yeah, New York is an incredible vibe right now. Uh,
(30:29):
the tonight show should be fun tonight with a lot
of the Knicks players. I think the whole team's gonna
be there. I'm on Pirate. That'sh Pirates feel we want
to feel this way, you know. Hey, By the way,
you see Michael Keaton was at the game yesterday. We
had we had Batman in town today. Yeah, statue, let
us feel that way again, Pirates. All right, your chance
(30:50):
at twenty five hundred dollars coming up around eight ten,
and the Pittsburgh Police scanner, we have another incident at
the Alleghany West. Wendy's coming up around eight twenty five.
It's Mike Ymba America's turning two hundred and fifty Steven
Spielberg's Alien Conspiracy thriller Disclosure day number one of the
box office, making ninety three million globally and just under
(31:13):
fifty here domestically. You no, that is definitely one that
I will wait for on streaming unless it's on Paramount
Plus that I'll.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
Never see it because that is the only streaming service
that I don't subscribe to.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
It's mikey Bob the ninety six one Kiss Morning Free
Show coming up next. On the show, we have your
chance to win twenty five hundred dollars part of our
two hundred and fifty KUSA giveaway. So that's coming up next.
Speaking of twenty five hundred dollars, what happens when you
multiply that by too, Bob five grand? Yeah. Down to Tennessee,
(31:50):
we go for this headline cop say woman hid stolen
five thousand dollars interrectum old Tennessee woman oh Man hospitalized
and facing a criminal charge for allegedly stealing five thousand
dollars from her boyfriend, cash that she hit in her rectum.
(32:12):
It seems like a lot of cash and unsuccessfully. Yeah,
tried to retrieve it, Oh no, with a toilet brush
and tongs. Butt, tongs, toilet brush. What are you doing
the toilet brush for? Don't you don't want to know? Okay,
(32:34):
you don't want to tole does it matter? Not real?
I kind of want to know, but tongs. All right, everybody,
you got five thousand dollars stuck in your button? They
gave you the box to clean up after another oh no,
(32:58):
it says her boyfriend told the police that the cash
was in one hundred dollars dominating denominations a ton of hundreds. Yeah,
and it was sitting on his uh, the foosball table
in his house. And then he suspected that his girlfriend
had stolen the money, only put it. He called cops
(33:19):
confronted her. She admitted to him that she'd wrapped up
the money and stuck it in her rectum, again, trying
to get it out with a toilet brush and uh
and tongs. So she's now not only hospitalized because you know,
why he turned herself into the reverse ATM. She put
(33:43):
the money in, She's like, how do I get it
out of it? Back out? Hey, listen, if you see uh,
big tall guy and a big round guy in front
of an ATM with a toilet brush and tongs, don't
worry about it. You ain't seen nothing. Your chance to
win twenty five hundred dollars. You didn't even need a
(34:05):
toilet brushing tongs to get it out. We just give
it to you. That's coming up next on The Kids
Morning Freak Show. It's Mikey and Bob. Hey, we appreciate
you listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. But it's

iHeartRadio Music Festival, It's Mike ym Bob a Kiss Morning
Freak Show. Let's get to this talkback message brought to
us by the Pavement group Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 11 (35:17):
It's James Late Night Thought. But my wife and I
were having a conversation and she brought up a hyper
fixation of hers and it immediately popped into my head
when Bob was going through all of his hyperfixations.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
So I feel like we should.
Speaker 11 (35:36):
Bring those back up because they're they're right up there
with like the laugh track for a good just good
overall laugh.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
Okay, now listen, wonder what his wife was I he
didn't share. I know if you just say your wife
brought up a hyperfixation, like we like to hear that.
I like when other people are so passionate about things
that they do get all hyped up.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
One of those truckers eating beef jerkey. That's one of mine, all.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Right, So, uh, if you'd like to learn more of
some of Bob's hyperfixations meats, mustaches, fishing nipples.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
Okay, I'm notxy, sexy, big people, sexy.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Big men in general, none of the answers I was
expecting out of you. But if you want to call
those your hyperfixations, absolutely, you've been listening to the joy
some shows, Harry Guy. One of mine is, obviously if
you've been listening to the show long enough to clowns
without pants.
Speaker 12 (36:42):
This is Ottom and Splorida. Yeah, the wiener dog mom
of Vader. I'm a big Star Wars and Marvel fan,
so this really is for you monkey.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Yeah. Star Wars and Marvel two of my hyper fixations.
You got any more Bob lunch ladies.
Speaker 12 (36:56):
And I was calling to tell you, well, first of all,
we could have lots of garage talks about Marvel and
Star Wars.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Yeah, hanging out in my garage also a hyperfixation of
mine too, You got any more Bob ribbon dancing?
Speaker 12 (37:10):
But also I was calling because the other day you
said that you don't like Vader, and you said he
kills children.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Yeah, I'm not. I love Star Wars. Darth Vader is
a necessary character in Star Wars, but he's not one
of my favorite characters because he kills kid. So we
knew Darth Vader.
Speaker 12 (37:26):
We did not know Anakin Vader did not do what
you accused him of doing.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Anakin Skywalker grows up to be Darth Vader. Right, so
we're talking about the same person here, just a what's
another one of your hyperfixations? Bob Grannys who bake in,
Grannys who smoke? Okay, so sig Granny's.
Speaker 12 (37:48):
Only later in the two thousands. Did we meet Anakin
Skywalker in episode one?
Speaker 1 (37:54):
Okay, but by the way, whatever she's talking about with
Star Wars, it has gone off the rails of Bob's
hyper fixation.
Speaker 12 (38:00):
And it was episode three before he became Vader. Okay,
Vader did not execute Order sixty six.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Okay, that's when the kids get killed. Have you been
wrong about this Darth Vader hot take? All? Right, well
kind of, because Darth Vader doesn't technically kill the kids.
It's Anakin Skywalker. But Anakin Skywalker is basically turning into
Darth Vader when he's killing the kids. What's another one
of your hyperfixation?
Speaker 12 (38:26):
It was Anakin. So you don't have to be an
Anakin fan because who likes Anakin? But you should be
a Vader fan because he makes cool noises.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Who else makes cool noises? Animals and heat? Wait a minute,
does Darth Vader make cool noises? Hell? Yeah he does, dude.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
What are Darth Vader's signature noises? I mean I heard
that before, but if somebody would have just like randomly
made that noise, Vader, you need it Inhaler or something.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Star Wars one of my high fixations. You ever want
to talk about Star Wars, I'm your guy.
Speaker 13 (39:02):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Anymore hyperfixations you want to share, Bob, You ever want
to talk about Koalas with chlamydia, I'm your guy. My
algorithm is just feeding me people from foreign countries going
(39:23):
to Walmart for the first time. It's incredible, man. I'm like,
we there. We take a lot of things for granted
in this country. You know, we got USA two fifty
and all that coming up. I think the real gift
for USA two fifty wasn't any of the crap that
happened on the White House lawn. It's people from foreign
countries coming over here, just going this is amazing.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
I watched a video of somebody in Dallas like trying
to explain how big Texas is to people, like they
can't wrap your mind even graw like this.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
This city is huge. Dallas is huge, but it sits
with in Texas, which is you know, fifteen hours long.
If you were to drive across it, It's yeah, it's awesome.
It's Mike y Abob the ninety six one Kiss Morning
Freak Show. Let's get to another talkback messager sent up
to the Free iHeartRadio appron to us by one Team
Media II.
Speaker 13 (40:15):
Making up this weekend. I was merging onto seventy nine
heading to a graduation party.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
Hope you zippered, that's the way to merge.
Speaker 13 (40:23):
And I saw a street sweeper go what's seventy miles
an hour on seventy nine or I thought that was
the funniest thing ever, because those are vehicles that you
usually see going slow.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
Look it off right now, top speed of a street sweeper.
Speaker 13 (40:37):
And I thought what other vehicles said? Would you laugh
at going fast that you normally see slow, like a
mail truck, garbage truck, stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
See like a garbage truck isn't going to have like,
it's not going to be able to keep up with
traffic on the highway. That's that's why. You know, if
you're in the right lane, you're behind the garbage truck.
It's going, Yeah, it's struggling to get here with the hills.
You just go right around it. The trash truck is
gonna be able to keep up with traffic. But no,
(41:06):
you sure the street sweeper was scooting at seventy. I
gotta be honest. For my entire life, I've never seen
a street sweeper do anything other than sweep the street.
I've never seen it on the Parkway. I've never seen
it on a highway. I don't know. And its top speeders.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
I've never even thought of where street sweepers come from
or stay at at night?
Speaker 1 (41:27):
You know, like, Okay, where do they do they get
to the street? Because I only see him on the
street going like five miles an hour. We never see
how they get to the street. Yeah, yeah, how does
that work? Are they dropped off? What's their top speed? Though?
Speaker 3 (41:40):
If she saw one going seventy and it really was
going seventy, this thing was it was modified.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
No, we don't have a city employee who modified the streets.
Maybe Rako and Tim got a hold of the street
sweeper on like a private auction and modified it.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
Man took the governor off or something out there cruising
a streets sweeper in hunt their mouth and hour. What
is the top speed of a street sweeper? It says
the big bigger street sweepers can reach fifty five miles
per hour highway.
Speaker 1 (42:10):
Don't even feel like I've ever seen a street sweeper
go fifty miles an hour, But that's like something they
come from. That's a huge industrial I'm looking at the
picture of the one. They say it's fifty five.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
It's like a huge like highway looking like okay, Like
for the ones in neighborhoods, yeah, regular ones. It says
their average speed is like eleven miles per hour and
they can reach like a high.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Twenty Yeah, all right, So that's that's what I'm talking
about too, Like, how is that street sweeper going seventy
miles an hour? Where is it hide at night? Seriously?
I think the bigger question here is where do sweet
street sweepers come from? And where do they go when
they're done? Street sweet scooting I only see them, sweet,
we only see it at work. I only see them
scooting Sloman don't see it. We don't get to see it.
(42:52):
Go home at night, we don't get to see it.
Come to work off with What's up with these streets sweepers? Huh?
Where they coming from? We've been hiding them all these years.
You can go seventy miles now your chance at Alex
Warren tickets coming up around nine to thirty this morning.
It's a Kiss Morning Freakshell Mike and Bob our iHeartRadio music. Well,
(43:14):
Bob has already dipped into Facebook Marketplace where at that
point of the show, it's usually right around here, usually
around the nine o'clock hour. The last hour of the
show is when you start falling apart on Facebook Marketplace.
What's going on, Bob? What'd you find? Electric cooler? Go kart? Okay,
we're in Ohio. There's no reason for a cooler to
ever have wheels in a motor that makes it go.
(43:37):
It's a giant Gatorade cooler.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
Yeah, Like it looks like a holdly good amount of
stuff that's like the seating portion of it. Okay, and
then it's full on go kart The description is this
is not a toy, It's fast and dangerous.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
Where's it at? And there's no seat belt? This is
hey By. This is not a toy, it's fast and dangerous.
Just letting you know. Is Facebook Marketplace a lawless place? Ah?
Speaker 3 (44:10):
Yeah, I feel like it is a very lawless place.
You can dream it. You can find it on Facebook Marketplace.
That should be their new saying.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
If you can dream it, you can find somebody made
it and they're selling it. What I've always wanted it
was a cooler that keeps my beer cold, but also
slightly dangerous when I get it up to top speed.
A cooler full of danger. Let's get to another talkback
message setting through the free iHeartRadio app. Talkback messages on
(44:38):
the show brought to us by the Pavement group I'm
making Bob.
Speaker 14 (44:41):
So I'm listening to the podcast on Friday, and you're
talking about farting in the train cabin?
Speaker 1 (44:47):
Was that what we were talking about on Friday? Show? Wow,
show cover train stuff? Yeah? You want to train ride? Yeah?
I love trains and uh, the only time I was
ever on a train for like a longer train ride
was when I was younger. I took a train to
Chicago with my family to just like experience Chicago. That
(45:07):
was it. I haven't been on a train since then.
Like a like a good train. You want to you
want one with a cabin, you want to go overnight.
We're talking about to go overnight the train cabin together.
Well yeah, because me and you were talking about going
on a train ride together, and then we just said
we are big people. We aren't going to fit in
one of the I've looked that up before. I don't
fit in trains, man, I'm too tall. I'm six foot nine.
(45:31):
There was no way for me to comfort belief like
the sleeper cabin. And if you're with me too, you're
a bigger guy. And then you know, we're just gonna
fart up a train cars.
Speaker 14 (45:41):
And it jogged my memory, jogged your memory. I didn't
send a message. I wanted to, but there's no reason
you guys have to be that funny. I'm the greatest.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Oh yeah, I know what she's talking. So on Friday Show,
we were talking about farting in train cars, and it
jogged her memory of when Bob had the I'm just great,
I'm the greatest. There was a we'll just call it
a secret noise in the studio I picked up on
the micro did and Bob proclaimed after it, I'm the greatest. Oh,
(46:13):
I'm the greatest, all right, So that's what she's talking
about there. I mean, you really think I can go
overnight in a train car with that with the greatest
toe to toe.
Speaker 14 (46:22):
Anyways, the train bit is also reminding me about my
anxiety of getting on a plane at the end of
the month. It's been like nine years.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
Hey, listen, everything's gonna be okay, all right, little plane ride.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
I mean, hopefully you're going to a magical place. That's
how That's how I lure my brain into thinking, like,
nothing to be nervous about. We're going to a magical place.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
That's it. I gotta get through all this, I gotta pack,
I gotta get through TSA.
Speaker 3 (46:46):
I tricked myself into thinking just like, wow, yeah, we're
only a couple hours away from a real magical place,
and hopefully I don't have to go to the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
That's it too, That's it too, that anxiety he sets
in especially again again. I want to go back to
our sizes. Me and you are not made for airplane
bathroom one or two one or two. I mean, I've
talked about this before. I'm pretty sure I would need
my legs on the wall if I have to.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
If I have to want in an airplane bathroom, it's
probably possible I.
Speaker 1 (47:17):
Can want in an airplane bathroom.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
It's gonna be a weird fit though, like I'm gonna
have to do some body movement that's not natural.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
If you walk in on me in an airplane bathroom
doing number two, you probably would think I just invented
some new Olympic sport, because it is not gonna be
normal looking at all. Like, what is he doing in there?
Says some sort of weird yoga like it's in there
just looking like a prank mannis Yeah, seriously, downward dog,
(47:46):
what are you doing? It's the only way I can
make in the toilet. Hey, teacher friend Becka sent us
a message here.
Speaker 13 (47:55):
Hey, Mikey Boba's teacher friend Becky. Here, I just want
to let you know that I love you.
Speaker 15 (48:01):
Okay, well here on summer break.
Speaker 1 (48:05):
What nice message. Yeah, she's checket in. She just checketed.
She just woke up. Then have to wake up early
going on. I need to tell you just know that
I'm I'm having a summer living life. Mike, you Bob
the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show. Uh
not great for the Pirates. They lose yesterday four to two.
(48:26):
Marlin's sake. This series, there was a solid, solid start
from Paul Skins. Yeah he's still pitched good Hens strikeouts,
but uh yeah, Pirates have now lost six straight games
that Paul Skeens has started. They're on a six game
trip now, they're out taking on the Athletics in California.
Jared Jones pitching game like bucks. Yeah, nine to forty
(48:49):
start tonight for the uh for the Pirates game. All right,
let's get to another talkback message here brons Us by
One Team Media Tay Freak Show.
Speaker 13 (48:57):
This is Natalie from Murraysville.
Speaker 16 (48:59):
I go to college out of state and one of
my favorite things is to describe weird Pittsburgh words to
my friends. So I'm wondering, what are some of your
favorite Pittsburgh words that aren't the super obvious ones.
Speaker 1 (49:12):
Yeah, like the super obvious ones slippy and gum band
and like jagov and yeah, I feel like I always
get stuck on crayon crayon and cryan Like I feel
like it's like just lazy, sort of insuri ish WAYSA
gan't crayon crean and I feel like that's the way
(49:33):
we've always said it. Crying. We've never gone crayon. And
I don't know if you want, like I mean, she's
talking about.
Speaker 15 (49:40):
Not the obvious ones, you know, like cran craym crean,
crying cream Cryan cran, crying.
Speaker 1 (49:52):
Carn, harder crayon corn or cry crying cran, crayon on,
crayon craan, A box of crayon crayons, Oh daddy, box
of cranes, give me a box of crayons, box of Crans,
(50:13):
box of Crans, green, box of Crans, Crans and collar
with Crans collar, Crans, Crans spiral interspiral. We're in a
cran little bit Crane crand cran. We're in the intwhirlpool.
(50:34):
We can't see that crayon. Yeah, it's a stupid show
we have here. But I don't even know if we
answered her question. But Kip chop him crane, I drew
picture and Chip champin with a crane, cran ham on
(50:58):
your own gunments.
Speaker 11 (51:03):
Crap.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
Another chance for you to win Alex Warren tickets he's
playing the arena next Tuesday. Go to our nine to
six to one Kiss PGH account on Instagram for another
chance for you to win. There it's Mikey and Bob
the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show. Hey,
I want to name the podcast today. Okay, Usually it's
you that means the podcast. And by the way, if
(51:29):
you're just new to the party here, at the end
of every show, we name our podcast. So the episode
of the podcast as kind of a title of whatever
we were talking about on the show.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
A lot of times is something or a mix of
a couple things that we were talking about.
Speaker 1 (51:43):
Yeah, we try to we try to make it weird.
So you got yeah, Okay, Big Beef and Clapping cheeks,
Thank you, Thank you. Usually I don't do this. I'm
out of my I'm out of my lane. Right now,
Big Beef and Clapping Cheeks is the name of today's podcast.
Big Beef comes from again my favorite thing on the
(52:05):
internet right now. Tourists in the United States of America
discovering are very uniquely you know, American culture, the food, Walmart,
just foreigners going to Walmart. The food, the drinks, the culture,
the the the entertainment options that we have here. This
(52:25):
was down in Dallas. A fan from Japan.
Speaker 9 (52:28):
Fude, you wanted to try in America?
Speaker 1 (52:30):
What was it like a big humburger?
Speaker 9 (52:33):
Okay, we can help you with that. Nikogo, you said
you wanted to try beef.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
She wants big beef. All I want you she wants
big beef, that's all. I'm looking back. That's where that
came from. And of course, clapping cheeks. Love Island, us say,
is on a run right now. Feels like a lot
of people are locked into this show here for the summertime.
And they sent a couple to the hideaway that's where
the stuff that they can't show on camera takes place.
(52:59):
And they're as a whole send off songway time, Clap
them cheeks, Clap them cheeks. The cast members are just
walking off, and then they get the whole rest of
(53:19):
the cast just breaks out in a theme song. Then
they're dancing. Clap them cheeks, Clap them cheeks. You know, Hiaway,
you have always called love Island sex island. You're exactly right.
I've ever been more right about something. There is there
is a higher chance of STDs than true love. On
Love Island, us A, but STD Island. I'm not sure
(53:40):
how many people are tuning into that island. Big Beef
and Clapping Cheeks also a TV show I would watch,
but maybe just a podcast that you can listen in
to today. All Right, I'm sort of stumbling at the
end of the show here. Yeah, Channel Big Beefs and
Clapping Cheeks would be all right, Ryan Crush. What was
(54:00):
up right down Tyler? By j D kst f M,
Pittsburgh
