Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to the 96.1 KISS Morning Freak Show. Let's just
start the show with this right here, Bob. It's a
great day for a birthday. It's party time. It's your
birthday today. It's a great day for birthdays. It's party time.
(00:23):
It's your birthday today. Hey, happy birthday, Mikey. And happy birthday, Bob. Go, go,
birthday twins. Okay.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
All right.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Is this like I've been waiting for this day for
a long time. Actually, I've been waiting for this specific day,
September 3rd. I've been waiting for this day since January 1st,
which is Bob's real birthday, New Year's Day. And for
some reason, things got out of hand on our show
(00:54):
this year. And every day on our show, people have
wished Bob a happy birthday. And I say, it's not
his birthday. It's birthday's New Year's Day. Yeah. It's my
real birthday today, everybody. Happy birthday, man. Well, thank you
very much. Let me get to another message here. Finally. Finally. Oh, wow.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Happy birthday.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
Birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
I did it. You've been listening to everybody all year.
I have.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
All year.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Wish Bob a happy birthday.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
And it's finally your day.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Big guy.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
My time.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
But also, it's Bob's birthday.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Okay. Birthday twins! I know. Jesus. You guys are too much.
Escape it. All right. We're having a birthday show today,
I guess. Happy birthday, man.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah. All right.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Well. It's your special day. Hey, Mills on the Mount
already mailed me birthday nipple tassels. Yeah, ready to go.
And cat socks with balls on them. Balls? Yeah. No,
I mean, really, look. It's the backside of a cat.
With the cat hole. But then it has balls on it, too. Thanks,
(02:07):
Mills on the Mountain. Birthday balls. Birthday boys in the building.
And he has cat socks with balls on them. We
got another sweaty, swampy heat advisory today. It should be
like highs in the low 90s with the heat index
even worse than that. So, you know, this is the
(02:27):
last day of the extreme heat, and then we cool
down a little bit like back into the 80s going
into the weekend. It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS.
Let's get to another talkback message brought to us by
One Team Media.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
It's a great day. It's Mikey's birthday, and he's birthday
twins with my furry little girl, the amazing Gracie Monster.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Wow. I hope you have an amazing day, Mikey.
Speaker 6 (02:47):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
And happy birthday to you both. No. See, you can't
whisper it. Happy birthday to your fur baby, though, Gracie.
But you can't whisper happy birthday. Give her a good birthday, twins.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
No.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Give her one.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
No.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Birthday twins. participating in birthday twins when people are trying
to wish me happy birthday and at the end of
their message whispering secret messages to you.
Speaker 7 (03:12):
And happy birthday to you, mom.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Uh, no. Thank you. No. Oh, no. No. All right,
let's get to another one here.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
All right, let's do this, I guess. You are so nice, man.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Happy birthday to Mikey.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
I like it.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Thank you for the nice birthday song. I regret to
inform you, though, that Bob's birthday is not today. It's mine.
It's my real birthday today. It's birthday's New Year's Day.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
And Bob, too.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
All right. You guys are too funny. Let's get to
George here. Hey, what's going on, fellas? George here, catching
up on Wendy Mona's podcast. I just wanted to tell Mike,
happy birthday, brother. Y'all take it easy. There we go.
That's a clean birthday message from George there. Clean birthday
message from our buddy George there. Well, let's get to
one more here.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Hey, Sh * * and Giggles.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Sam here again.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
I love that nickname for us, Bleeps and Giggles, because,
I mean, it's perfect. Just calling in to wish Mikey
a happy birthday. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thank you. And just remember, it's.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
All Sh * * and.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Giggles until somebody giggles and sh * *.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
All right.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Love you guys.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Wow. You know what? That is a life lesson right there.
A little reversal of fortune. It's all bleeps and giggles
until somebody giggles in bleeps. Real life lesson there on
the show.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
All right.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
We'll get to the Pittsburgh police scanner coming up next
on the show. Around 625 has to do with robots.
No way. And Jonas Brothers tickets this morning around 8.30.
It's Mikey and Bob. 96.1 KISS. The Mikey and Bob Podcast. Spectacular.
Thanks to our friends at the C. Harper Auto Group,
(05:10):
the official sponsor of the Mikey and Bob Podcast. Let's
get to another talkback message here. Mikey and Big Bob.
Damn from Honda. There he is. Dan from Honda's girlfriend.
Happy birthday, Mikey. Hey. Happy birthday, Bob. Birthday twist.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
All right.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
You guys are too much. I see the direction the
show is taking today. Hold on. It's Bobo the Mailman. Morning, boys.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Bobo the Mailman here. The birthday king has been dethroned.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
The birthday king has been dethroned.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
And I declare a new birthday king.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Whoa!
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Happy birthday, Mike.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
But it should be a good show with the birthday twins, though.
Happy birthday, boys.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Okay. Have a good day. All right. Started good. Ended
with birthday twins. Let's get to the Pittsburgh Police Scanner. Again,
it's just a couple of people who listen to, you know,
the things that people call the cops for in and
around our city. They got a website, pgh-scanner.com. You can
follow them on all their socials. It's time to find
out what's happening in and around our city. Lawrenceville at
(06:15):
Carnegie Robotics. Caller says that the company has a bunch
of robots outside kicking up a lot of dust, and
the caller doesn't like it. Hey, I don't like it either. No, listen. CMU.
Was it those walking robots? If you had the walking robots.
The ones that look like humans? Yeah, like the Boston
Robotics have, you know? Throw them in the river. Those
(06:37):
ones that, like, you know, were doing the 100-meter dash and, like,
running into the wall and stuff like that? Uh-uh. Pittsburgh
ain't going to play with creepy robots. You better keep
them inside. I'll mess with those robots. You got robots
that are kicking up dust. You better not let them outside.
I'm telling you. Those robots don't even wear pants. You
can't trust them. No, you just won't take lightly to...
(06:59):
You see what we did with the Star Wars vending machine?
Don't let these robots out, CMU. Swear, we're just going
to beat their ass. Also happening in and around our
city here, Mount Oliver, the family dollar. Okay. Caller says...
A bunch of kids went into the store and had
a silly string fight. Oh, my God. Whoa. Lock them up.
(07:26):
Lock them up. At some point, as an adult. Are
the cops coming for a silly string fight? You have
to remember what it feels like to be a kid
and just fun and free. And not a ton of responsibilities.
I mean, should they have done it in the store?
Speaker 2 (07:44):
No.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
No. We can all agree on that. But did they
make a memory for the rest of their lives? And
did anybody get hurt? Was there, you know, like clean
up a little bit of silly string? I think you
just got to let kids be kids sometimes. Just be
happy that they're only shooting each other with silly string.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
That's what's happening here. in and around our city. Ding! Hey,
thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,
whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it. Thank you. Yep.
But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
can hit that little talkback microphone. Send us a message.
(08:29):
You can send us a message about previous shows, the
latest show, something you want us to cover on the show.
Let us know where you're listening from, too.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
That's fun, too, right? People in random places. Yeah. I
hit that little talkback microphone and you can send us
a message and maybe you'll make the show later this afternoon.
If you're over by the stadium, if you're on the
North shore, just, just take a whiff. Oh, what's that smell?
(09:01):
Does it smell like meat? Meat! All the meaty smells
start today down the North Shore. It is Ribfest kicking
off outside Accresure. 4 to 8 today for Ribfest and
then tomorrow it'll be noon to 10 p.m. and then...
Saturday and Sunday and Monday and Labor Day weekend and
(09:24):
Ribfest in Pittsburgh. Little bit of a meat smell where
the Steelers play. Play with your meat. It's Ribfest. Play
with your meat. By the way, speaking of food, we
got a nice little salute, shout out, I guess, on
KDKA yesterday. run with KDKA here, right? I mean, first,
(09:49):
we had the guy up on Mount Washington who called
for the Yin's Vengers on KDKA to get to the
bottom of the Star Wars vending machine thing. We got
to get a task force here of all the Yin's
or Legends. I mean, we need Joe Manganiello on the case,
Michael Keaton, Mike McCarthy, Wiz. I need Mikey and Big Bob. Yeah,
but KDK yesterday during... Talk Pittsburgh. Love that show. You know,
(10:12):
Heather Abraham, Mikey hood, Mary ours. Uh, so they have
our friends, uh, Brian and Troy and Katie who run
nothing man up on Mount Washington used to be in Bloomfield. Uh,
these are just three really good friends of ours. And, uh,
Mikey was asking Brian, who Brian Hess is a guy
(10:33):
who runs the Pavement Group and One Team Media, but
he's also like helps with Nothing Man up on Mount Washington.
This guy's handing a lot of different things. Good friend
of the show. And this was on KDK yesterday with
Mikey Hood here. What brought this partnership together? So met
Troy through our friends Mikey and Bob. Everybody knows who
Mikey and Bob is in the city of Pittsburgh.
Speaker 8 (10:54):
Mikey actually brought Troy to a Penguins game in our
suite and the rest is history.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
We became instant friends.
Speaker 8 (11:01):
I started tasting his food on the regular and as
we got the restaurant going in Mount Washington, it was
just a perfect fit to bring these two up there.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
And redo what they did in Bloomfield up in Mount Washington. Yeah,
food's so good there. So good. Nothing, man. You want
to just support a small local business up on Mount Washington,
just go try the food at Nothing, man. Our friends
Troy and Katie. I mean, the things that Katie does
in the kitchen is just... She might have magic powers.
(11:31):
She might be some sort of lady wizard or something
like that, because I don't know what they're doing up there,
but just about everything I've ever had there has been, okay,
this is fantastic. The rotating tiramisu menu. I know. I
think it's peaches now. I know. It looks amazing. I know.
I know. I know. It's real good. But thank you
to Brian for the little shout out there on KDK yesterday.
(11:54):
Definitely go check out Nothing Man. up on Mount Washington
all right we'll get to you today in freak show
history coming up next and your chance at Jonas Brothers
tickets coming up around 8 30 it's Mikey and Bob
heat advisory again today we're gonna have highs in the
90s heat index is gonna feel sweaty and swampier than
that so you know just be careful out there it's
Mikey and Bob on 96 one kiss pirates lost last
(12:16):
night five to four and ten innings you see there's
like a couple like uh a couple like hits off
the wall that missed home runs for the pirates just
by like inches. Like they should have won that game,
but like, Oh, we missed a home run by, you know,
10 inches. And then they, you know, I saw the
stats of just like, there's 20 other ballparks where these
would have been home run. All right. This is what
(12:36):
we're doing. It's September. And now we're doing this. This
is what we're doing. Bob Nutting. Wow. We almost had it.
All right. Afternoon game for the Buccos, 1235. Yeah. this
afternoon at home taking on the Giants. Let's get to
a quick talkback message before we get into today in
Freak Show history. Talkback message is brought to us by
The Pavement Group. Am I getting a Spanish birthday serenade
(13:04):
right now? Sounds like it. Y a los pajarillos cantan,
la luna ya se metió. A la pio, a la bao,
a la bim, boom, bao. Mikey, Mikey, rah, rah, rah.
(13:25):
Feliz cumpleaños, Mikey, from your friendly Spanish teacher.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Adios.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Wow, beautiful. That was great. That's the kind of birthday
wish I'm talking about right there. Thank you, friendly Spanish teacher,
for the nice message. By the way, speaking of little
birthday songs, it's time for Today in Freak Show History.
Here we go. Today in Freak Show History.
Speaker 9 (13:47):
Today in Freak Show History.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Today in Freak Show History. Let's take you back to
the birthday banger. Everybody that works in an office setting
knows what happens when the e-mail goes out that it's
somebody's birthday and there's cake in the break room. We
made a whole song about it and everything. There is

Speaker 1 (16:27):
You can send your talkback messages in if you want
to be part of the show. Talkback messages brought to
us by One Team Media. Hi, tall boy and small boy.
Speaker 9 (16:35):
I just want to say, you know, it's a very
special day.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Happy birthday, Mikey. We're all rooting for you and so
happy you finally get to have your day. Thank you.
And I even think it's so awesome that you've not
only known Bob for your whole life, you guys are
BFFs working this job together, but you also have.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
The same birthday.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Happy birthday, Bob.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
Birthday twins. Mikey and Bob, best friends and birthday twins.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
All right. Everybody loves birthday twins, don't they? Birthday twins.
All right. Again, it's my legit birthday right now today.
Birthday twins. Bob's is New Year's Day. All right. Let's
get to another one here.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Hey, Mikey, Bob, Doug, formerly in D.C.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Hope you're having a great day.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Remember to unlock that Facebook wall so everybody can send
you happy birthday wishes.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
But then. Yeah, no chance, Doug. No chance.
Speaker 6 (17:22):
No.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
No.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
I'm not doing it. I hate generic birthday messages. I'm
leaving the Facebook wall completely locked down. You cannot wish
me happy birthday on my personal Facebook page. I don't
play that stuff.
Speaker 10 (17:34):
You also have to remember to post at about 10
o'clock tonight.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Oh, yeah. You got 10 o'clock tonight. Oh, thanks, everybody.
That's when you take in all the birthday wishes and
you go, I just want to say there's too many
of you to say thank you to. So I just
want to thank everybody for the birthday wishes.
Speaker 10 (17:51):
Thanking everybody so you can really milk the rest of
those birthday wishes from people that didn't realize all day
that it was your day.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah. Yeah. Again, my day today, not Bob's. That is
the ridiculous setup of every birthday for every person who
has a Facebook page. It is. People wish you happy birthday,
generic messages all day. Happy birthday. Enjoy your special day.
And then at some point you go, ah, I got
to acknowledge these people. Or you just block your Facebook
(18:20):
wall and then people just got to send you direct
birthday messages and you don't even open them. You can
do that too. All right. There's always people getting naked,
getting arrested, making the news and making our show. It's
time for a naked story.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Whoa!
Speaker 1 (18:35):
It happened again. Someone decided to get naked. It's time
for another naked story on the 96.1 Kiss Morning Freak
Show with Mikey and Big Bab. Not only a naked story,
it's a Florida story, too. We go to Polk County, Florida.
A 71-year-old man found himself in jail after walking around
(18:56):
outside naked, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. We've
talked about Grady Judd, the sheriff down there on the show,
because he's got a pretty good sense of humor with
a lot of stuff that happens down there. Deputies arrested,
man named, 71-year-old man, Richard Dawson. Wasn't Richard Dawson like
the old game show host that hosted like Family Feud?
(19:19):
I think he's dead now. Dick D? They took down
Dick D in Florida? Oh, man. I mean, Richard, yeah. Yeah.
His family could call him Dick. Dick Dawson. All right.
So Dick Dawson's out there. Neighbor spotted him, took a
picture and called the cops. Took a picture. I got
(19:40):
a proof. Got a proof. He's naked. Right. Dude, if
I saw a naked person, I'd take a picture, too.
Everybody would. Right. You see a naked person. You take
a picture. They're in public. Right. Got it. proof well
if you'd like the front yard the sheriff said the
neighbor sees this goober smoocher wandering around outside naked and
takes a picture of him with this camera notifies the
sheriff's office wait what's it a goober smoocher smoocher Is
(20:06):
that like a Florida Gooch or what is that? The
Goober Smoocher? Maybe that's when he took a picture of
the Goober Smoocher. I think the Goober Smoocher. Yeah, it's
probably down there. It's like the area between this and that.
Around the corner, yeah. Right there?
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Is it where Fudge is made? I don't know if
the goober smoocher is next door to where Fudge is made.
It's the front door. Again, there is a 71-year-old naked
guy down in Florida. The deputies show up, and Dick
Dawson had to put on a pair of shorts when
he was questioned about why he was naked outside. He
just said, ah. I was getting ready to change my clothes. Okay. Yeah,
(20:44):
we all get dressed outside. We go from naked to
closed outside. That's what you do. The sheriff said we
did get him to change his clothes. When we arrested him,
he changed his clothes from street clothes into orange clothes
at the county jail. Dick Dawson arrested, 71 years old,
because he was completely naked outside. It is Florida today.
(21:06):
and a naked person making the show. Once again, Bob,
I have seen the clips online. Mason Rudolph absolutely crushed
it on the Cam Hayward podcast. not just football, right?
He was hilarious. I think there might be a little, like,
newfound respect for Mason Rudolph after his appearance on the
(21:30):
Cam Hayward podcast. He had full control of that podcast.
He's got jokes, right? He did, yeah. We'll get to that.
We'll milk some Steelers content around 725. Jonas Brothers tickets
around 830. It's Mikey and Bob. 96.1. Zara Larson's one
of the many performers at our iHeartRadio Music Festival. It's
coming up in a couple weeks, the 18th and 19th
(21:50):
out in Vegas. You'll be able to hear it right
here on 96.1 KISS, streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu.
It's Zara Larson. It's Benson Boone. It's Cardi B. It's BTS.
It's Snoop Dogg, Laney Wilson, and a lot more. You
can win $ 1, 000 and a full trip to Vegas coming
up for our iHeartRadio Music Festival around 9, 10 here
on 96.1 KISS. It is Mikey and Bob. Let's get
(22:11):
to a real quick talkback message before we get into
Mason Rudolph, Steelers quarterback on the Cam Hayward podcast. Talkback
message is brought to us by One Team Media.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Hi, boys.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Oh, boy.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
It's Aya Kaka. Oh, geez.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Just wanted to drop in to say happy.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Birthday to Mikey. Thank you, Kaka.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
It's your birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
So celebrate that birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Yep.
Speaker 10 (22:35):
Woo-hoo.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Celebration?
Speaker 9 (22:37):
I don't take bong hits like Nico does, but I
do take edibles.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
I just wanted to include the sound of me taking
an edible for you. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, wow.
All right. Happy birthday. Okay, wait. Mikey. Okay. You eat
edibles like Cookie Monster eats cookies?
And Kaka, thank
you for the birthday wishes. I really appreciate it, Bob.
Now it's time to milk some Steelers content. Let me
(23:03):
tell you, Mason Rudolph crushed it. He did. He really did.
On the Cam Hayward Not Just Football podcast. It's Cam.
It's Mason. It's wide receiver Ben Skoranek. It might be
the funniest Cam podcast that he's put out. You know
what we're doing right now, Bob. Oh, I know. Milk, milk, milk, milk,
(23:26):
milk the Steelers content. Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the
Steelers content. Mason Rudolph was asked how he feels now
that Miles Garrett is out of the AFC North and
he plays for the Rams now in the NFC. Miles Garrett,
of course, the guy who beat Mason Rudolph. over the
(23:46):
head with his own helmet. Are you happy that Miles
Garrett is no longer in the AFC North? Off to
a hot start here on Not Just Football. As a
Pittsburgh Steeler, I'm thrilled that he is no longer in
the AFC North. I think Mike McCarthy's fired up about that.
I think Brian Angelico's fired up about that. I know
our tackles are fired up about that. And your forehead.
(24:06):
And the top of my frontal lobe. Dude, is that
Ben Skorodnik who said in your forehead? In your forehead.
All right. Now, again, this is Cam Hayward, Not Just
Football podcast. Mason Rudolph gets asked about Aaron Rodgers. Does
he ask you any questions? A lot of questions. Did
we go to the moon? Is that real? Did... Where
(24:30):
it pertains to football. I actually wanted to keep going. JFK,
was that an inside job? I can only imagine the
conversations that Mason Rudolph and Aaron Rodgers have. Guys, the
Mason Rudolph delivery is so dry. It's good. It's great.
It's so funny. It's fantastic. Any other questions, Ben, that
he's asked you? Okay, now Mason Rudolph's asking Steelers receiver
(24:51):
Ben Skoranek, hey, is there anything Aaron's asked you?
Speaker 7 (24:53):
He's really curious about things we've done in the past.
He always asks me what it's based on.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Okay, Mason Rudolph just says weapons of mass destruction. Talks
right over Hickory.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
So good.
Speaker 7 (25:05):
Stuff like that, game plan-wise. I think it's cool because
he's so old like Cam, and he still wants more knowledge.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Man, they are just ripping on Cam for being old here.
I love it. Who has more gray in their beard,
you or Aaron? Oh, man, Mason Rudolph is taking control
of the situation here. Who has more gray in their beard,
Aaron Rodgers or Cam Hayward? Probably you. Probably him. He's
got everywhere. Really? Everywhere. You guys been showering together? Yeah.
Mason Rudolph! Unbelievable! What a line! Oh my gosh! As
(25:36):
we milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content! Milk, milk, milk, milk,
milk the Steelers content! Alright, one more. Again, this is
Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph, wide receiver Ben Skoranek. They are
on the Cam Hayward podcast and they're asking Cam about
his house. Yeah, it's getting a little outdated. I think
you should Do some renovations. You just got a new contract.
(25:58):
You could afford it. Yeah. Were you holding in last year?
Did that end up turning out well for you? having
a lot.
Speaker 7 (26:08):
Of fun can we go back to your dating history
i think there's a lot more to be explored there
at least.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Better unbelievable man mason rudolph just dominating it's a great
watch on youtube like the entire thing is so good
all right definitely go check out uh the latest episode
of the cam hayward not just football podcast with uh
Mason Rudolph and Ben Skoranek. All right. Is there something
(26:37):
going on with Taylor Swift and a radio station in Pennsylvania?
The answer to that is yes, but it's not really
that simple. Okay. I will explain this because we got
a message about it. We'll explain everything that's going on
with Taylor Swift and radio stations with iHeartRadio. We'll explain
(26:58):
all this coming up next here. It's Mikey and Bob.
If you miss any of the live show, get caught
up with our Mikey and Bob podcast on the free
iHeartRadio app brought to us by our friends at the C.
Harper Auto Group. By the way, Bob, speaking of our
vehicles that we're driving from C. Harper, like you're in
the white Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. Yeah. I'm in the
(27:20):
purple Jeep Gladiator. Let's get to this talkback message. It's
our friendly Spanish teacher again. She does bring up a
good point, something we said on the show.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, friendly Spanish teacher here.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Getting caught up on Tuesday's podcast.
Speaker 6 (27:35):
And you guys are talking about the Duncan scented air fresheners.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
That was a whole thing for breeze came out with Duncan,
like scented air fresheners. It smelled like, you know, coffee, coffee, donuts,
things like that. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (27:50):
The one comment was, um, about is everybody just farting
in their car?
Speaker 1 (27:55):
And Mikey said, yeah, of course.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
It's the best place to fart in your car. And
I was like, I don't know if that's the best
way to get people to want to buy your Jeep. Okay,
I mean. Have a great day. It's a solid point,
but I will let everybody know that's potentially in the
market for a purple Jeep Gladiator. I don't fart in
the Jeep. It's not mine. I only fart in my cars.
(28:19):
I farted in my truck. Well, I mean, you look
like the kind of guy who would just be ripping
them into your Ram. Ram ripping? Let's get to this
next talkback message here. Let's just move on. Let's get
to this.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Hey, Mike and Bob.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
It's Rue here.
Speaker 9 (28:36):
I heard a rumor that Taylor Swift is going to
be on a Pennsylvania radio station next week.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
All right. We're going to get to the bottom of this.
We know where the confusion is. I saw this, too.
It's kind of dumb, but it's kind of funny. We'll
explain all about Taylor Swift being on a Pennsylvania radio
station here in a minute.
Speaker 9 (28:55):
And I know it's been confirmed that it's not you guys,
but man, my sister and I were saying like, you
guys would ask the hard hitting questions.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
So I got to know if.
Speaker 9 (29:05):
You just had Taylor Swift call into your show, what
would you ask her? Because I feel like you guys
would have the questions we all want answers to.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
I'd probably just ask her about her cats. To be honest,
I probably talked to her about cats, you know? Who's
her favorite Muppet? I feel like if you got Taylor
Swift calling in, you only get a couple minutes, too.
It's not like you can go on for an hour.
It's a very controlled interview. But yeah, Cats, Muppets. Sure, yeah.
I mean, we ask people. She's going to want to
talk about Toy Story. I'm sure there'd be some of
(29:34):
that mixed in there. Disney movies growing up, maybe one
of her favorite was. A lot of times we ask people,
like our go-to interview question is just like, what was
the last movie that made you cry?
Speaker 9 (29:45):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
Or have you ever cried during a Disney or Pixar movie?
That'd be a great question to ask her too. But Bob,
explain where the confusion is here because Taylor Swift is
not doing an interview on one radio station. This is
a bunch of stations, right? Yeah, yeah. It's hilarious how
it played out because it's on this I Heart Country
house party. Yeah. Hosted by this guy, Wayne D, on
(30:08):
country stations across our company. So like big 104.7. Yes.
We'll have this Saturday night at 7 p.m. if you're interested. Yes.
So if you want to talk about a radio station
in Pennsylvania that will be airing a Taylor Swift interview
Saturday at 7 p.m. on Big 1047. But the confusion
had to do with the Harrisburg radio station, right? For
(30:28):
some reason, Google and every place else picked up. Like
even when you Google it now, like Taylor Swift radio
interview coming up, it says like September 5th, 7 p.m.
And then it all links back to this Harrisburg station. Okay. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
There's a country station called Bob 94, nine. Okay. And
(30:50):
it's an I heart station. It's one of the stations
that we own and they're playing the show that's going
to air here on big one on four seven. So
everybody thinks like Taylor's going to Harrisburg to do this interview.
And she's not reality. She's just, yeah, it's prerecorded. It'll
air at 7 PM. Taylor Swift. Isn't doing an interview
with a Harrisburg radio station. It's a radio station she's
(31:12):
doing with a syndicated host that will be spread out
over hundreds of iHeartRadio country music stations is what it is.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
No, she's not really doing an interview with the Pennsylvania station.
For some reason, the algorithm picked up on one Harrisburg station.
I was like, well, this is it. Yeah, because if
you go to big 1047s like Instagram, they posted the
exact same thing that the Harrisburg station posted. So just
to clear up some confusion because we got asked, like,
why didn't we get picked? It's a big syndicated country
(31:44):
music show. In our world, it'd be like Taylor going
on Seacrest Show. Yeah. And then it's put on across
the country on a bunch of stations. All right. We
got a Yinzer who has some words for Joey Porter Jr. Obviously,
we want him to start the season. We want him
to have a big new fat contract with the Steelers.
But sometimes you just sort of need a Yinzer to
(32:05):
sit you down, look you in the eyes. and tell
you what it really is and what needs to happen.
So we will get to that around 7.55. Jonas Brothers
tickets around 8.30. It's Mikey and Bob. 9-6-1-Kiss. The Mikey
and Bob Podcast. If you saw somebody in your neighborhood
just naked, you'd have a little laugh and a smile, too.
I mean, then you'd be concerned, like, what's going to
(32:26):
happen next? But the first time you see a naked person,
you're like, ah, whoa! And then you're just like, uh-oh,
am I in danger here? Stream the Mikey and Bob
Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts. Happy birthday,
nipple tassels, too. All right. Thank you, Mills on the Mount.
(33:10):
Appreciate you. By the way, one of our great listeners,
Don from Trafford, has been calling for this for a while.
Just a place where I guess the community of movers,
people who listen to our show can sort of come
together and talk about the show and stuff. Mills on
the Mount made a whole Facebook group. So. If you
go to facebook.com slash groups slash moobers, M-O-O-B-E-R-S. Yeah, Mills
(33:36):
on the Mount just sort of created a little Facebook
community there if you want to join it and chat
with other people that you hear on the show and
leave messages on the show. So you can go join
that Facebook group if you want to chat with other moobers.
Moobers unite. Moobers. Let's get to some more talkback messages
here brought to us by The Pavement Group. Morning, boys.
(33:56):
It's Scoots. Hey, Scoots.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
Best friends in real life, best friends on the radio,
and birthday twins.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah. Okay, Scoots.
Speaker 7 (34:05):
Happy birthday, Mikey. Have a good day.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Yeah. Birthday twins. It's my real birthday today. Let's get
to another one here. It's our friend Ellie in Italy. Hi,
Mikey and Bob. It's your friend Ellie in Italy.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
It's a special day.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
I'm sure you're going to get thousands of messages like
this today.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Yeah. But Mikey, happy birthday.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
And also Bob, happy birthday.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
Finally, you two are birthday twins.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
So nice. Oh, and I thought of some nicknames for
you guys.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Bathtub and shower.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Okay. I'm really proud of myself for coming up with that.
So have a great birthday day. Bye. Have a great
birthday day, bathtub and shower. I'm the tub. By the way,
Ellie in Italy, thank you for the birthday wish. I
got some breaking news here. Not Bob's birthday today. It's mine.
His birthday is New Year's Day. Hold on. Let me
(34:54):
get to one more talkback message here real quick. It
is the toilet T-Rex.
Speaker 8 (34:59):
Good morning, Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
It's the toilet T-Rex. I just wanted to say happy
birthday to my favorite T-Rex.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yenzer Uncle Mikey. Thank you, Toilet T-Rex.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
Happy birthday, bud.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
Thank you. I hope it's a great day.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (35:14):
And you have many more.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Oh, nice. Sorry, Bob.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
It's not your birthday.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Whoa. That is. Yeah. New Year's Day. You're right.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
Happy birthday, Bob.
Speaker 6 (35:22):
Love you.
Speaker 8 (35:23):
Have a good day.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Okay. Well, all right, then. Thank you, T-Rex. Let's get
to our buddy Brandon here, man. This guy makes just
some of the best Yenzer videos on the internet. He's
so good at it. He'll just be driving around his Jeep.
And he'll just have his camera on and he'll just
rattle off a minute of Purians or magic. So a
lot of people obviously in the city talking about the
(35:44):
Steelers ramping up to the home opener, the season opener
against Atlanta next week. And Joey Porter Jr. not being
signed yet. He doesn't have an extension. Is he going
to play? Are they going to get the deal done
in time for the start of the season because they
don't negotiate? And here's our buddy Brandon. You can look
him up on Instagram. Tourists look up. Here he is,
(36:06):
just got a little message for Joey Porter Jr. Big
news in a bird right now.
Speaker 10 (36:11):
Obviously, stellar season's about to freaking kick off. We're about
a week and a half out from the home opener
against the Atlanta T-Birds or whatever they're called down there.
We're getting close. The big news, though, Joey Porter Jr.,
he ain't signed his contract back up yet. We don't
know if he's come back. Joe, all I got to say, bud,
if you see this, my best advice, don't be making
(36:32):
no decisions.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
Yeah. On an empty stomach. You better go. Don't make
a decision until Monday. That's what I need you to do.
I need you to go down there and rip fest,
all right? Okay, so the plan here. Get Joey Porter Jr.
down to rip fest? Go down to rip fest. I
need you to go down there to Mojo's.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Yep.
Speaker 10 (36:48):
Go down there and smoke your teeth.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Yep.
Speaker 10 (36:50):
Go down there and get yourself one of them dyed
iron tall boys.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
And you make up your mind.
Speaker 10 (36:54):
Get yourself some baby back ribs.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
You know Jennings could be down there.
Speaker 10 (36:59):
Jennings could be down there dunking loaves of cornbread and
freaking nacho cheese.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Hell yeah, bro. Dude, Jennings Dunker, the Steelers rookie lineman
with the big red flowing mullet. Wait till he figures
out Ribfest is going on. You know Jennings is going
to be down there with a loaf of cornbread. Dunking it.
Dunking it in queso. Jennings Dunker. Dude, one time I
saw Joey Porter Sr. down there one time. Guy walking
(37:25):
around looking like a brick wall. Dude, do not. Whatever
you do, if you see Sr.
Speaker 10 (37:30):
Down there, do not touch his brisket.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Mac and cheese. That's a bad idea. Bad idea. Joe,
make a good decision. Go down there. Get yourself a
couple snacks, all right? Then we'll see you on Monday.
I bet you'll stay, brother. Let's get it.
Speaker 10 (37:43):
Go learn.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
God bless. Have a day. That's a beautiful, beautiful reasoning
right there. That's our guy. Brandon tourists. Look up is
his name on Instagram. Get Joey Porter Jr. Down the
rib fest, man. Get him sauced up, man. That's it.
He needs to be covered in the queue covering just
barbecue sauce. And what did he call him to wash
it down? Dye iron. Dye iron. We'll be right back.
(38:19):
Get caught up on the Mikey and Bob podcast. You
can stream and download episodes every day on the free
iHeartRadio app brought to us by the C. Harper Auto Group.
Let's get to another talkback message here.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Hi, Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
I'm catching up on the podcast, and I'm hoping to
hear the story about the butt sniffer.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
I'm not sure if you guys covered.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
That or not, but if you have not or are
not sure what I'm talking about, please Google the butt sniffer.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Um that i guess he had the history.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Of being a butt sniffer um yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
So it's kind of interesting.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
And kind of funny yeah we've actually talked about this
uh butt sniffer twice on the show this week so
you know if you cover the butt sniffer three times
then the butt sniffer shows up so we're we're at
max butt sniffer coverage there's a guy in california we've
talked about him on the show uh before because it's
not his first butt sniffing rodeo he basically goes into
stores and kneels down behind people who don't really know
(39:14):
he's there and tries to sniff their butts just takes
a whiff yeah i feel like he's made our show
maybe once a year for the past like three years
yeah yeah he's got a real problem sniffing butts a
butt sniffer doesn't end up on the news and get
past us so we oh every time we definitely saw
it yeah there's no butt sniffer that makes the news
and we're like wait a minute there's a butt sniffer
(39:36):
where no soon as somebody sniffs a butt and gets
on the news our alarms go off right on our
show all right let's get to some more talkback messages
here happy birthday mikey thank you Happy birthday, Bob. Birthday twins. Okay.
All right. Just dealing with birthday twins today. Thank you.
Even though it's my real birthday today. Okay. Happy birthday, Mikey.

It's my birthday today. Singing like an angel. All right.
Speaker 4 (40:17):
Happy birthday, Beyoncé.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Yeah, I mean, listen, you don't have to, but you
can call me Beyoncé today because Beyoncé' s birthday is tomorrow, sir.
You know, I mean. Close enough. It's close enough to
be birthday twins with Beyoncé. So I'm Beyoncé today.
Speaker 4 (40:34):
Logan from Westmoreland. Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (40:38):
And of course, happy birthday, Bob.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Okay. It's not his birthday. His birthday is New Year's Day.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
Hey, guys.

Unfortunately, I have to remind you that.
Speaker 9 (40:59):
The whole Wishing Bob a happy birthday streak started on
his actual birthday, and it has.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
Continued since then.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Yeah, New Year's Day.
Speaker 5 (41:08):
So since today's your actual birthday, I wonder what's going
to happen tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
Love you guys. Listen, I don't Don't do it. I
don't want no birthday wishes tomorrow. Today's the only day
I'm accepting birthdays.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
This is it?
Speaker 1 (41:19):
This is it. This is my birthday.
Speaker 6 (41:21):
Hey, guys.
Speaker 3 (41:22):

know what's happening. Hold on. Here's Larry from Little Washington.
Mike and Bob, it's your boy, Little Larry from Little Washington. Hey,
say something nice.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Boo!
Speaker 1 (42:53):
Say something nice. All right. I mean, do you want
me to hit the... Boo! Wee!
Speaker 6 (43:00):
Little Larry.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
Say something nice. Say something nice. Boo!
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Hey, my man.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
Mikey, happy birthday, brother. That's all. We're just saying happy
birthday to you, man. Enjoy your day. Have a great one.
All right. Thank you. And on the way out, happy birthday, Bob.
All right. Didn't forget you, bro.
Speaker 8 (43:16):
Peace.
Speaker 1 (43:16):
Well, I mean, we could. We could forget him for
one day. Thanks, Larry. His birthday's not today. It's my birthday.
He's wooing, man. He's fired up. You know what I'm
doing after the show? Huh? I got to go get
my picture taken for my driver's license.
Speaker 2 (43:28):
Why?
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Because I procrastinated until my birthday. DMV day, huh? Yeah.
I heard the DMV here in Bridgeville rules. It's magical.
It's magical. I heard that. Like, it's hard to say
that a DMV is like a... It's nice. It's quick.
It's good. Yeah. It's good.
Speaker 5 (43:44):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
It's quick. All right. I mean, the Duncan Ave DMV
is usually my go-to because that's closer to us, but
that one's always hit or miss. That one's lying out
the door sometimes. Yeah, but then, dude, last time you
took your son there, you ran into Evgeny Malkin. Gino
was there, so there's the chance of Gino, but at
the same time, the Bridgeville one, wait till you get
in there. It's huge. It's huge. Yeah. Huge. I'm going
(44:05):
to be excited, huh? I'm going to be like, you
know what? This is the place where I need to
get my picture taken for my birthday. All right. Let's
get to another one here.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
Hi, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (44:13):
Hi.
Speaker 5 (44:14):
This is Gabby.
Speaker 1 (44:15):
Hi, Gabby. Feliz cumpleaños.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Y que cumplas muchos, muchos más.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
Take care. Bye, man. I am getting some Spanish birthday.
You are Spanish birthday love on the show. Yeah, I
appreciate it. All right. Let's get to a let's get
to one more message here. Happy birthday, Mikey. Thank you.
You have a great day, man.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (44:36):
You know, anyways, I was just listening to the show
and you guys were playing the part with the Cam
Hayward podcast.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
Oh, yeah, Mason Rudolph. He's funny as hell. He tore
it up. Mason Rudolph is hilarious.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Right?
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Yeah. I feel like we kept him.
Speaker 7 (44:53):
For the vibes, right?
Speaker 1 (44:54):
He's got to just make the room fun. I mean,
Mike McCarthy said Mason was awesome and he's been a
great surprise. It's got to be because he's funny, right?
Get that man a podcast. No, don't get him a podcast.
Don't dig too deep in Mason Rudolph. Weird direction. No,
we're fine with him just being a guest on Cam's podcast.
(45:16):
He might be a glue guy in the locker room, though.
Things are hard for the rookie guys. He's making everybody laugh.
Mason Rudolph might be there for the vibes, but again,
don't think we need Mason Rudolph with his own podcast
because that'll go off the rails real fast. As a guest, Sure,
he's funny on Cam's podcast. All right, here is your
(45:38):
chance at Jonas Brothers tickets. You know what? I'm giving
away Jonas Brothers tickets on my birthday.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (45:45):
It's my birthday, but you get the prizes. Here we go. Hey,
let's get a winner for some Jonas Brothers tickets here. Hi,
who's this?
Speaker 7 (45:54):
Elizabeth.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
Elizabeth? Where are you from, Elizabeth? Oh, okay. All right.
You doing all right this morning? I'm doing great. I
hope I'm doing better. You are doing better. You're caller nine.
You're going to see Jonas Brothers. Look at that. You're
going to see Jonas Brothers in October at the arena.
Tickets are on sale right now, but don't worry because
(46:16):
we got a pair for you. Okay.
Speaker 6 (46:18):
Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
Thank you so much. No problem. Hold on one second.
Bob's going to get all your details, all right?
Speaker 6 (46:22):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
You can still get your Jonas Brothers tickets at Ticketmaster.com.
It is Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Bob,
get the X-Files music out because Aaron Rodgers, Steelers quarterback,
was speaking to the media yesterday. Aaron Rodgers was asked
(46:43):
about the rookie. Max Ahanachor, or as Bob called him
one time, Max Ajahabahat. Max Ajahabahat. Aaron Rodgers talking about
Max at tackle, and if he's comfortable with a rookie
protecting his ass. I love the kid.
Speaker 8 (47:04):
He sits a couple seats down for me. I got
crazy wild mullet, red-headed Samson on the tattoo on his
back uh jennings michael dunker and uh max next to him.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
So it's a good uh good little corner my gosh
that's his that's his locker mates he's with max and
jennings dunker the redhead and mullet man dunks has a
big back tattoo I guess, man. What if Dunks has
the stamp, dude? What if it's down low? A tramp stamp? Yeah.
Look it up. Is there any information on the internet
about Jennings Dunker shirtless? Does he have a big back
(47:38):
tattoo or something like that? I'm sure he's been shirtless, right?
And of course, you got the Steelers, you know, the
other rookie. Max, I'm a hot. Max, a jihad of
a hot. Aaron Rodgers was talking about Michael Pittman and
the receivers. He was asked about them.
Speaker 7 (47:52):
That is what it is.
Speaker 8 (47:54):
You know, he was hurt. So it is what it is.
We got to, get him up to speed. But, you know,
I feel great about, you know, DK and Roman have
had arguably, you know, two of the top probably five
camps on the team.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
DK has looked unbelievable. Dude, is Aaron Rodgers about to
power rank? He almost power ranked there. He said top five.
He said top five. He almost wanted to do power rankings.
Speaker 8 (48:15):
And Roman's gotten a lot better. I would say Pat
Firemo should be in the mix too. Pat's had a
fantastic camp. You know, with Michael, we haven't seen a
lot from him. So, you know, we'll figure out... where
we'd like them putting in there, but we're obviously going
to need to contribute to be successful.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
Michael Pittman Jr., by the way, I don't know if
we need to wait for a bye week, but a
big friend over here really wants to go fishing with you.
Then Aaron Rodgers was asked, this is the important question,
we haven't heard from Aaron Rodgers since they decided to
keep four quarterbacks on the roster? What did Aaron think
about that?
Speaker 8 (48:54):
I mean, I was thinking it was a possibility, but
I don't think I've been on a roster with four quarterbacks. Obviously,
when you do that, you're taking away a spot from
another place in the team. But at the same time,
if the best 53 are going to make it and
not saying they did, I think those four are part
of the best 53.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
There you go. Sorry, I'm distracted. Why are you distracted?
I'm Googling Jennings Dunk. shirtless okay all right it makes
sense now does he have a back tattoo do you
see his back tattoo yet i haven't found a completely
shirtless pic of him yet okay there's plenty with like
(49:31):
sleeveless shirts and he has like uh okay side boob
A little bit. A little bit. Oh, man. I'd love
to get my hand right on. Like, if Jennings Dunker's
wearing a shirtless T-shirt, I want to get my hands
in the sides and just flick and flap. Flick and
flap on Jennings Dunker. Flip a nip? Yeah. Then I
(49:53):
want to take him down to Ribfest and do some
damage with him. 961 KISS. The Mikey and Bob Podcast.

pavement group. Bob toilet T-Rex is back here.
Speaker 3 (50:17):
Good morning, Mikey and Bob. It's your Toilet T-Rex. I
wrote a song about my driving to work this morning.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
You want to hear it? Here it goes. Okay, hold on, everybody.
Clear out of the way here. Toilet T-Rex wants to
sing a morning commute song. Come here. Okay, here goes
Toilet T-Rex.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
Driving like a jag in a Cadillac. Gonna cause a crash.
That's as far as I got. I just flipped them off.
Speaker 7 (50:45):
That is.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
Have a good day. Bye bye.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
Bangers. Banger of a toilet T-Rex. I just flipped him off.
All right. Whatever Jag was driving in a Cadillac, watch out.
Toilet T-Rex got you in her target there. All right,
let's get to some more here. Good morning, guys. It's
Plant Lady. Just wanted to call in and wish Mikey
a very happy birthday. Hope you enjoy yourself. Have a
(51:09):
wonderful day. All right, Plant Lady. Yeah, Plant Lady. Calling
from a train there. I like it. Let's get to
another one. Hi, Mikey and Bob. Titus from E-Cutter here.
Listen to the show every day. I'd like to wish
Mikey a proper... Happy birthday. Whoa, hold on, man. Did
he say he was the meat cutter? Titusville? Titusville meat cutter?
He said he was the Titusville meat cutter. Hi, Mikey
(51:29):
and Bob. Titusville meat cutter here. Dude, Titusville meat cutter
listens to our show? Every day? Every day. Hey, it
might be my birthday, but you, Titusville meat cutter, thank
you for listening to the show every day. You know what?
You made my day. Titusville Meat Cutter, the meat man.
If you would have asked me, does the Titusville Meat
(51:51):
Cutter listen to us every morning? I'd be like, I
don't know. Probably not. I don't think so. Maybe we're
not his vibe. Now we know.
Speaker 4 (51:57):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (51:57):
Titusville Meat Cutter. Locked in. Mike and Bob. Let's get
to another one here. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday
to you. Happy birthday, dear Mike. Happy birthday to you. Careful.
And to Bob.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
A very merry unbirthday to you.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
Unbirthday. A very merry unbirthday to you. Have a great day, guys.
It's Mindy from Central Florida. All right. Happy birthday, Mikey.
Thank you very much, Mindy. Hit me with a diss track? Yeah,
that was a diss track. That was. That was an unbirthday. Wow.
You got unbirthdayed on my birthday. All right, let's get
to another one. Good morning, fellas.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
Hey.
Speaker 3 (52:31):
Happiest birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
Thank you. What are the chances that your birthday is
the one day of the entire year that it's not
Bob's birthday? Like, that's crazy.
Speaker 7 (52:40):
You guys are so meant to be best buddies forever.
Speaker 1 (52:42):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (52:43):
Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 7 (52:44):
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
All right. I appreciate all the nice birthday messages. Yeah,
everybody's real nice. It's very nice, you know? I act
like I don't like it. I like when people wish
me happy birthday, but this is a one-day-only thing, all right?
I don't want to hear no birthdays tomorrow. There's no
late birthdays. Uh-uh. I got a one-day birthday. I'm very
different from my friend Bob over here. Tomorrow's my birthday, too.
(53:08):
I got a... Well, guess what, Bob? Me and Beyonce.
And DJ Bonics. Hey, by the way, tomorrow, our buddy
DJ Bonix, Wiz Khalifa's DJ, DJ Bonix is like our
best friend in the world. DJ Bonix is playing Rib
Fest tomorrow. Yeah. So go see DJ Bonix. Go down
to Rib Fest. Get yourself some ribs and then walk
(53:30):
over to the Bucco game. Have yourself a good time
at the Bucco game. Just make a whole end of
summer weekend about it. Yes. All right. My birthday today,
Beyonce and DJ Bonix is tomorrow. All right, we got
your chance to win $ 1, 000 coming up and a full
trip to Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival. That was
a violent nipple smack. I didn't know what to do,
(53:53):
so I just smacked my nipples twice and then decided
let's transition into... That's a life lesson there, everybody. If
you don't know what to do in a situation, just
smack your nipples and move on. Chance for you to
win a thousand dollars in a full trip to Vegas.
Cause in a couple of weeks, our I heart radio
(54:13):
music festivals taken over Vegas with BTS and Cardi B
and Zara Larson and Snoop Dogg, Laney Wilson, Benson Boone,
and a lot more. Your chance to win a thousand
dollars in a full trip to Vegas coming up next
year on a 96 one kiss. Uh, thank you to
the Franklin park, uh, police department and, uh, EMS for, uh,
(54:34):
you know, McCandless area, all that stuff for, for coming
out to my house yesterday. You know, my father-in-law lives
with me and my wife, Jamie, and, uh, he fell
yesterday and just, he, he's been going through a lot
of medical stuff. It's just, I, I salute, uh, everybody
who's taking care of, uh, you know, an older aging parent.
It is, it's not an easy job to do. And, uh, yeah.
(54:56):
And thank you to everybody over at, uh, pass event
because that's usually where he goes and they take great
care of them there. So, you know, I just appreciate
the first responders doing their thing. And, uh, they, they
got you on first name basis. Uh, pretty much. Yeah.
My father-in-law, they'll, some of the times I'll walk in
and be like, James, Hey, how you doing, James? Thought
(55:18):
we weren't going to be back here again, but you know,
so yeah, it was going through a little bit last night.
All right, let's get some talk back messages here brought
to us by the pavement group.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
Hi, birthday boy and non birthday boy. This is your Virginia.
You and their friend who has you hanging up in
her bathroom. That is decorated like a Pittsburgh potty.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
Oh, Oh, we love her. She's the best. She lives
down in Virginia and has a Pittsburgh potty, which is...
It's not like the downstairs toilet or anything. She has
a bathroom that's just like all Pittsburgh. There is a
picture of us on her Virginia bathroom wall.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
I just wanted to say happy birthday to Mikey. I
hope your day is full of cats and Star Wars
and Muppets and garage time and all of your favorite things.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
That's it.
Speaker 9 (55:57):
We love you.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
I hope you have a great day. And stillers!
Speaker 1 (56:00):
I mean, the only... Hey, man, listen. What? She missed Pokemon.
She was listing off your favorite things I threw. Yeah,
I heard you under your breath go, sex. Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 4 (56:22):
Happy birthday, Mikey. Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
Have a great day, dude. You deserve it. Thank you
so much. Thank you. It's my birthday today, everybody. Morning,
Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 2 (56:34):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
It's Ashley from Butler. Wait, who is that? Mikey and who?
What was that again? Morning, Mikey and Bob. Yeah. Is
she trying to say good morning to Mikey and Max Ahanachor?
Max Ahanachor.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
Ashley from Butler.
Speaker 1 (56:53):
Just wanted to call and wish Mikey happy birthday.
Speaker 3 (56:55):
And because it's Bob's birthday too, I hope he has
something fun planned for later.
Speaker 1 (56:59):
Happy birthday, Bob. Birthday twins! You did ask me to
go to the DMV with you, so maybe we'll have
a date at the DMV. Bob's birthday is New Year's Day.
It's my day. Good morning, Mikey and Bob. Stephanie here,
and I just wanted to come on and say happy birthday, Mikey!
Thank you. And no, Bob!
Speaker 3 (57:17):
Nope.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
It is not your birthday. It's not. It's your birthday's
New Year's Day. Yeah, he should know better. It's not
every day for him.
Speaker 2 (57:24):
You only get one day in your box.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
One day. Let Mikey have his day.
Speaker 3 (57:28):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Love you guys. Thank you so much for the nice message.
Why am I being attacked on my birthday? It's not
your birthday. It's my birthday. Why am I being attacked? Hey,
Moochie and Boochie. It's Phil from Brunswick, Ohio. Hey, boys,
just calling to wish Mikey a happy birthday today. Hope
you have a great day.
Speaker 4 (57:44):
Hope you have some awesome garage time later.
Speaker 1 (57:47):
In this long weekend. Yeah. And hope you boys have
a great day. Hope everybody has a great day, too.
All right, dude. I think we're done with this. It's
been a great birthday show. Are you clapping for yourself?
Don't clap for yourself, man. Don't clap. All right, here's
your chance to win $ 1, 000 and a full trip to Vegas.
(58:21):
Pirates play this afternoon, 1235, and then this weekend they're
at home against the Angels. Tomorrow night, Friday night, is
like their whole Hall of Fame thing, and they're doing
like a post-game Hall of Fame drone show and everything.
Drone show! We're going to have a time. We're going
to the Bucco game tomorrow. I believe we're in a
World Series suite. Yeah, we got one of the good nights.
(58:44):
It's going to be a drone show. Oh, man. Hey,
a little bit of Let's Go Bucks, a little bit
of a drone show. It's Mikey and Bob here on
96.1 KISS. Let's get to some more of your talkback
messages here. As we inch closer to Labor Day weekend,
we'll be playing party songs starting tomorrow, Friday at 2 p.m.,
all through Labor Day weekend. It's my birthday today and
(59:07):
I've gotten a lot of birthday messages today and I do.
I appreciate everybody thinking of me and wishing me happy birthday.
It's really nice. It really is. It is. It's very
nice that everybody wishes me happy birthday today, but I
gotta be honest, I think the best birthday message may
have just come in here. Let's get to this. Happy
birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Is that like
(59:33):
a full.
Speaker 6 (59:34):
Happy birthday, dear Mikey.
Speaker 9 (59:38):
Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
Happy birthday, Mikey. They were harmonizing, man. That was beautiful.
That was awesome. Whatever class or school that was or whatever,
thank you. That was nice. That was beautiful. It wasn't
like a joke song or anything. No, that was great.
Y'all can sing pretty good. Thank you very much for
(01:00:06):
the nice birthday message. You could have let us know
who you were or what school. Yeah, definitely. Or maybe
you were doing it on the low and you didn't
want to. Well, that could be it too. You don't
want to have to have a meeting about you shouldn't
be leaving talkbacks, even if it is Mike's birthday, during
school hours. The whole class is singing happy birthday to
the guy on the radio that pooped his pants at
(01:00:27):
one time? Two times? Two times. That was awesome. At
least two on the air. Thank you very much. I
appreciate it. Let's get to some more talkback messages here
brought to us by One Team Media.
Speaker 4 (01:00:39):
Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Oh, yeah, here we go.
Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
And happy birthday to all the other September babies out there,
myself and Bob included.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Love you guys. No, he's not. No, no, Bob doesn't
get to be honorary Virgo or anything like that. Birthday triplets? No, no, no.
September birthdays, no. no it's not no birthday triplets you
sure me you and september birthday sounds like okay.
Speaker 10 (01:01:02):
Happy birthday mikey.
Speaker 1 (01:01:05):
It just won't end.
Speaker 6 (01:01:06):
Bill from banksville i just want to say real quick
you're gonna have a great time at the dmv when
you get in there in bridgeville i was just out
there getting my license taken.
Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
Yeah this is uh this is where i'm planning to
go after the show yeah bridgeville dmv last week my
photo taken. Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:01:21):
Check out all the road signs from the local roads
around town.
Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
That they have on the walls. They got road signs?
Speaker 10 (01:01:28):
They got some of the most yinzer decor I've ever
seen at any establishment around town.
Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
For real? Happy birthday. The Bridgeville DMV got it? I'm
telling you. It's an elite DMV special. It's like no
other DMV that we have. Wow. I'm excited. This might
be the biggest thing today for my birthday is going
to the DMV. We're, we're building up the DMV trips.
Usually it's painful. It's horror. It's like, you don't want
(01:01:55):
to do it. Nobody wants to be there. Well, the
Bridgeville one's kind of nice. Wow. Just wait like a
positive experience. Yeah. Okay. All right.
Speaker 4 (01:02:04):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, it's Laura. Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Thanks, Laura.
Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
Um, I was just thinking, so the fact that Taylor's
going to be on 104.7 on Saturday night, do you
think she's got an announcement to make?
Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
Because that would be a great belated.
Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
Birthday present for you, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
It would. All right.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Thanks, guys. Happy birthday, Bob.
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. It's New Year's Day. It's
my birthday today. Yeah, Taylor's going to be on Big 104.7.
I Heart Country House Party with Wayne D. 7 p.m.
on Saturday. I don't think there's any announcements that's going
to be made today. I think she wants to use
the power of, um, I heart country stations from all
(01:02:43):
over the country to try to get, I knew it.
I knew you up to number one, Langley choosing Texas
is right now. Cause Taylor was like at three, I think. Yeah,
that makes sense. I think maybe she's using that to
try to get it back to number one, I think
is what's happening. All right, let's get to another message. Hi,
Mikey and Big Bob.
Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
Happy birthday, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
I was just listening to you guys, and you were
talking about the Bridgeville DMV.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
I'm telling you, Bridgeville DMV is starting to take over
the show here. It's getting its flowers this morning. It is.
It is.
Speaker 4 (01:03:15):
And it is a very magical experience.
Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
Yeah. However.
Speaker 9 (01:03:19):
It's connected to the world's best movie theater.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
The Phoenix. It is, it is. So it smells.
Speaker 4 (01:03:26):
Like delicious, buttery popcorn.
Speaker 9 (01:03:29):
So I always leave there, the DMV, just super hungry
and wanting to go to the movies.
Speaker 1 (01:03:35):
Okay, wait, hold on one second. It is connected to
the theater. What sort of DMV are we building up here?
The Bridgeville DMV sounds like you're making a DMV sound
like a magical magic. It smells like buttery popcorn. And
it's got cool ginger signs on it. Oh, man. Getting
its flowers this morning, man. Really? Hey, Bridgeville DMV, everybody prepare.
(01:03:57):
We heard it all about you. I got my camera
card ready to go. I got a haircut yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
You did.
Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
Nice haircut. Thank you. Shout out to Lindsay over at
LR Fades for hooking up the haircut like she always does.
That's my hair lady. Bridgeville DMV, you better get ready
because it's my birthday. I got a haircut and a
camera card and I want a new license picture. And
(01:04:27):
I guess I'll probably want popcorn eventually too. Hey, you
got two more chances later today to try to win
a trip to go see Zara Larson and Snoop Dogg, BTS,
Cardi B, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson, and more. It's our
iHeartRadio Music Festival. You can win a full trip to
Vegas for it and $ 1, 000 around 110 and 510 here
(01:04:50):
on 96.1 KISS. It's Mikey and Bob. You know, we
were playing a clip from our guy earlier, Tourist Lookup
on Instagram yesterday. His name's Brandon. He's just hilarious. He
did a whole video about how Joey Porter Jr. just
needs to go to Rib Fest this weekend, and then
everything will just work itself out. So he sent me
a happy birthday message, and I said, it might be
(01:05:11):
my real birthday today, but Bucko's in Rib Fest tomorrow
is the real celebration. And he sent me this voice
message here. Hey, I'll tell you what.
Speaker 10 (01:05:24):
The least the Broncos can freaking do is win on
your birthday. And if they win, I think they owe
you some freaking baby back ribs and some mac and cheese.
That's the least they can freaking do.
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Happy birthday, my dude. Love you. Appreciate you. That's great.
I appreciate the birthday message. It's the least the Pirates
can do on my birthday. Just get a win, Pirates.
Just get a little win. Just get a little win.
All right, let's get some more messages here. Morning, boys.
It is a very important day for... Mikey and Bob,
happy birthday, Mikey. Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
But it's even.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
More important than just your birthday. Okay. The Pittsburgh best friends,
Pittsburgh's weird uncles. Yeah. Birthday twins. Okay. Who'd have ever thought?
Happy birthday, Bob. Seriously, happy birthday, Mikey. Okay. Thank you.
You know, it's nice to see what everybody did today,
and I'm glad that it's my birthday, but... Nobody's really
(01:06:18):
forgetting that much about Bob over here, too. Some of
you are even including him in my birthday messages. We're not.
Yours is New Year's Day. We're not. Woo, boys. It
is Thursday, September 3rd. Yep. Bob, good morning to you. Mikey,
happy birthday, buddy. Thank you. so much. Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:06:38):
It is your day, your day only.
Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
It's just my day only. Your day. This is my day. Bob,
move aside. Move aside, Bob.
Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
It is just him today.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Just me. Just the magnificent Mikey. Magnificent Mikey. Bob, tomorrow.
Back to you tomorrow. Love you, boy.
Speaker 3 (01:06:54):
It's your Oklahoma Yinzer.
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Have a great birthday, Mikey. Thank you, Oklahoma Yinzer, but
I have some news for you. This may be breaking
news to you. It's not Bob's birthday today. Huh? He's
got one birthday. And it's New Year's Day. Let's get
to another one. Happy birthday, Mikey. Thank you. And only Mikey. Yeah,
that's right. Hey, is this Crite? This is Crite, right? Yeah.
What's up, Crite? Hope you have a great day, big dog.
(01:07:17):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
It's kind of gross outside.
Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
But that only means that you can spend more time
in the garage. Oh, yeah. A little garage birthday time. Yeah.
Sometimes I just like to sit alone in the garage
and just, you know, ponder life. Have a really, really
great birthday. Thank you. Only you. Just you. That's right.
We've done a pretty good show today. Is there air
circulation in the garage? I've been in the garage before,
but the door is usually open. No. Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
You shut the garage door if you're having garage time. Okay.
It makes garage time better. Especially if you're going to
be in there for a while. For your birthday.
Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
For my birthday today. Do you want to come over
and spend a couple hours in my garage with me, dude? Well,
have a great birthday time, man. I'm telling you, dude. Listen,
let's go to get go after the show. Well, no,
hold on. We got to go to DMV first because
I got my camera card. I got to get my
picture taken. Let's go to the DMV. Then let's go
to Bridgefield Gecko and get a bunch of snacks and
(01:08:14):
all the candy and all this stuff and just load
up on snacks. We go to my garage. You can
just hang out. You don't got to do nothing. Just
hang out in my garage. I'll handle the rest. And
then we'll eat all the food and snacks that we have.

downstairs and me and you are passed out sleeping. Yeah.
I've actually done that with Bonix before. Me and DJ Bonix.
(01:08:37):
Jamie's come down, and I've told her, I'm like, shh,
he's sleeping. Let him rest, okay? Sometimes garage time turns
into nap time, whether you want to or not. All right. Hey,
I appreciate, seriously, all the happy birthday wishes today. It's fun. 96.10,
