Speaker 1 (00:01):
The 96 one kiss morning freak show i thought it
was over this morning bob i thought what did we
do no no we got ourselves fired we almost did
it i thought i thought because we got locked down
the building this morning okay we have a little ptsd
from from that yes because our first radio job we
ever had that's how we got fired There was no email.

(00:24):
There was no sit down with the boss face to face.
Our first radio job, we learned we were fired because
we showed up to the station.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Our key cards didn't work anymore.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
We had those key cards where you'd hit it, and
if you were going in, it'd flash green before it
popped the door open.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, of course, yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Ours just kept flashing red at us, and we were
just like, oh, something must be wrong.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah. I remember we sat there for like 15 minutes.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, we did.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Try yours again.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Try yours. It's not working.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
No.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Email our boss. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Oh, I can't get into my email either. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Uh, so we did have that feeling this morning. Again,
we have, we have fired from work in our key cards.
Don't work PTSD. Uh, but I show up first here.
Backdoor doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Go to the front door. That doesn't work either. Like,
all right, now this is a thing.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I'm the only one there. Call our boss. He doesn't answer.
Text our boss. He's sleeping. He answers.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And then he's like, all right, I'll call the guy.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
So then the guy shows up. And by the way, same.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Guys yesterday that was probably smoking the cigar.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
When you first encountered him to try to, what was
he getting rid of bees? He told me he was
killing bees out here. I'm telling you, we got this
maintenance guy around here, man.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
He's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
He's all business, dude. No stogie today, though. There was
no morning cigar.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
You probably got him straight out of bed. I think, yeah.
It was unplanned.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
He's fully dressed, though. He was ready to go, man.
He had his cargo shorts on, ready to go. He
just shows up in white briefs.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Oh, man. To save the day.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So, hey, we got into the building and we're still
employed here, which I guess that's a good thing for
all parties involved.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Have a Friday.

Speaker 1 (02:10):

to win Steelers home opener tickets now.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Nate, the crazy Italian guy. You want to talk about
Steelers hype? This guy came in here, requested that we
play him Top Gun music. He was dressed like an
old school fighter pilot with goggles, a helmet, and like
a pilot scarf. Obviously, nothing you can see on the
radio here either, but he brought his own floor fan.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
He did.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
To make him blow in the wind. He gets hot,
so he had the fan blowing. He had the dress
on like a fighter pilot.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
He said, put on that top gun. I got something
to say about the Stullers.

Speaker 8 (03:52):
Steelers season's happening. That's what's happening. And the Steelers are
going to fly high. We are going to be the
top guns of the NFL. Let me tell you first,
one second, before we get more into this. Let's go, Buccos!

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Give me a winning season, Buccos!

Speaker 8 (04:12):
You had the talent for a playoff run, but all
I'm asking is give me a winning season, Buccos!

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I love you, Buccos!

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Now!

Speaker 2 (04:24):
We have a winning season.

Speaker 8 (04:26):
And the Steelers are going to have a Super Bowl season.
Nobody will be able to fly with us. We'll be
above everyone else. Mike McCarthy is bringing a new era.
We are offensive-minded for the first time in the franchise.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
The odds makers are going to have to.

Speaker 8 (04:48):
Change everything because we're going to put so many points
on the board.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Do you understand?

Speaker 8 (04:54):
This is a new Steelers, a new era, a new time,
and a seventh Super Bowl. What we do now will
bring a celebration. Early 27. First, a seventh Super Bowl
for the Steelers. And then right after that, a Best

(05:14):
Actor Oscar for Tom Cruise. He's going to win Best Actor,
and we are.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Going to win the Super Bowl. Let's go!

Speaker 9 (05:24):
Steering!

Speaker 2 (05:28):

talkback messages, let's get to this one brought to us
by The Pavement Group.

Speaker 7 (07:00):
Yeah, I was just looking at some toads and frogs
and stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
This is a guy who refers to himself as Strip
District Harry Styles.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
And this is how the message started. There was no, hey,
Mikey and Bob, it's Strip District Harry Styles. There's no
anything like that. The message starts like this.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
Yeah, I was just looking at some toads and frogs
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
And... Yeah, I was just looking at some toads and
frogs and stuff.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
Do they walk or do they only hop? Because I
would be freaking nuts to just be hopping everywhere. You
can't get the exact.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Spot you want because you've got to jump in a
circle to get to it.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
Nice frogs are cool.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Nice frogs are cool. All right, wait a minute. You know,
hold on, though, because I kind of get what he's
saying there. If they only have a short distance to go?
Have you ever seen a frog, like, run? Or a frog, like...
I guess frogs do walk, though.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Do they? It's a hop. It's a hop.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Okay, so Google, can frogs walk? Do frogs have to
hop everywhere?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Or have you ever seen... No, frogs walk. This is
a stupid thing to talk about. Frogs can walk, dude.
They absolutely can. I shouldn't have to Google this, but
I am.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
I know, but.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
I don't know if they can run, though. That seems
too advanced. I've never seen a frog run. No, wait,
I have seen a frog run. You've seen a frog run?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
You ever seen a frog run across, like, lily pads? Oh, yeah.
Is that a run or is that little hops, though? Oh, man. Dude,
frogs can walk, by the way. I looked it up.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
All right.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah, this is real. Seems like a common sense thing.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Frogs walk. I mean, if anybody was wondering. He's right, though.
They're always hopping all over the place.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
If a frog just needs to go, like, you know,
two feet, does it got to hop there?

Speaker 2 (08:51):
And what if it misplaces the hop? Says they prefer
to jump.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
All right.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Hey. Hey.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
All right, frogs. Keep jumping out there. Keep doing your thing.
We're all rooting you on.

Speaker 7 (09:01):
Yeah, I was just looking at some toads and frogs
and stuff.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Hey, man.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I was just looking at some toads and frogs and stuff.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Hey, man.

Speaker 1 (09:08):

to our show. There's a good chance you're going to

Then Saturday night, Benson Boone, laney wilson smashing pumpkins lacera
fam major laser muse snoop dogg stella lefty sierra that

(10:02):
is next weekend our iheart radio music festival here right
here on 96.1 kiss and streaming on disney plus and
hulu it is mikey and bob uh let's get to
this talkback message brought to us by one team media
hey mikey and bob in honor of the Steelers return
on Sunday. I was wondering if we could get a
little bit hyped up and hear the Steelers renegade that

(10:25):
someone sent in years ago.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Bye. Yeah, this is a, it's an old timer, you know,
little renegade time. Gotta be honest. When a man named
Doug L sent us his version of renegade, Didn't think
it would last this long, but man, we have played
this so many times on the show. We haven't heard
from him since. He sent us his own song called
Steelers Renegade. He was doing Renegade.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
This is dugout. This is Steelers Renegade.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
You know it's about to be serious. You know it's
about to be real when you hear this.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
This is Steelers Renegade.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Here we go.

Speaker 11 (10:59):
Oh, mama, Flacco's in fear for his life from the
long arm of the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 11 (11:07):
Cam Hayward's putting in to his throwing, and he's so
far from Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
This next line is my favorite line of the whole
Steelers-Renegades song, okay? Again, this is a fan-made song by
Doug Al here.

Speaker 6 (11:24):
Oh, Brady, I can hear you crying.

Speaker 11 (11:27):
You're so scared of Badu Preet.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Time out. Time out. Hold on. Hold on. This is
the greatest line of the whole song.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Because his voice cracks in the middle. Maybe because he's
not so sure that Tom Brady is actually afraid of
Bud frickin' Dupree.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Oh, Brady.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
I can hear you crying.

Speaker 11 (11:55):
You're so scared of Bud Dupree.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Tom Brady is not scared of Bud Dupree. No, no, no.

Speaker 11 (12:04):
Steelers defense coming down from high school and you don't
have very long.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
All right.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Now this is usually the point in renegade where it's
the yell, right?

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Oh, I'm not sure I can take this. Right.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Okay. This is a Steelers renegade fan song by Doug.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Oh, here we go.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
The cheek is up, the news is out.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Can you.

Speaker 12 (12:30):
Yeah!

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Can you handle the yell?

Speaker 9 (12:31):
Yeah!

Speaker 6 (12:33):
Yeah!

Speaker 11 (12:35):
The cheek is up, the team is out. They're out
on the loose now. The Steel Curtain, it has returned.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
To chief on its bounty.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
No way the men will stray.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
This first spot.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
Is revenge today for number seven.

Speaker 9 (12:51):
For number seven.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
There is a lot going on there. That's an anthem.
There is a lot going on.

Speaker 6 (13:08):
Oh, Brady, I can hear you crying.

Speaker 11 (13:11):
You're so scared of Badupri.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
And the renegade yell. It's so good.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Justin Timberlake last night. Do you see that surprise little
appearance there? Jay-Z's doing a show over in Paris. He
brought out Justin Timberlake and Pharrell, too. So it's pretty cool.
Those Jay-Z shows look awesome. I got no chance to
ever go and do one of his tour stops. No,
probably not. They look like so much fun. It is
Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. This is usually

(13:45):
where we do Today in Freak Show History and sort
of take you back to a moment in the show
that made us laugh and made us smile.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
We don't do that on.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Today because it is September 11th today, 25 years since
the September 11th attacks. It's one of those things, you know,
people of our age, you just remember exactly where you are.
You can ask anybody who lived through it. You know,
if you weren't like a baby or anything like that,
just you just, it's stained in your mind exactly where

(14:13):
you were when you were watching the TVs, watching it happen.
I know I was, uh, at the first radio station
we were working at. And I just, I just went home.
I was like, I'm out of here. My dad was
like heavily involved with like the red cross at that time.
And he was worried he was going to like, uh,
be sent to New York to go help. So I'm like,
I gotta go say, say bye to him before I

(14:34):
know it's. And you know, the more I think about it,
that drive home was so weird because you had no
idea what was going on, like in the world.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
You know? Yeah, no.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Like, that's one of those feelings that, you know, you
live through it and whatever, and you'd see the horrors
and all this stuff. I mean, there were cell phones,
but it wasn't like a constant connection like it is now. Well,
and it's also like everybody was calling every loved one
they knew at that time, too. So it wasn't like
you could even really get through to everybody that you

(15:02):
needed to. It was just a horrific day that's burned
in a lot of our minds. 25 years since the
two planes took out the Twin Towers. So the reading
of the names, the 2,900 people that died in the
9-11 attacks, they will be read in New York today,
in Washington, D.C. At 9 a.m., the Army will host

(15:24):
a live broadcast of the Pentagon observance ceremony. And then Shanksville,
of course, just near to us here in Pittsburgh, Flight
93 Memorial. They're holding the Day of Remembrance for the
25th anniversary. anniversary starts about 8 30 um close to
the visitor center and the wall of names and then
this afternoon 1 p.m uh they're gonna have speakers out

(15:46):
at shanksville including uh governor shapiro and wreath laying at
the wall of names and everything you know it's it's
just a heavy day and it's it's one thing where
we don't know how to uh ever talk about it
and everything like that and I don't like watching 9-11 stuff.
Neither do I. I really don't. I don't like remembering it.
I don't like watching documentaries. I don't like seeing people

(16:08):
jump out of the building. I just know it's just
so stained in my mind when it happened. It's not
something that I want to replay over and over again.
We just wanted to let everybody know that it's 25
years since 9-11. Obviously, if you're not going to Shanksville
or one of those things today, just take a minute,

(16:31):
just remember all those people who just thought they were
going to work or whatever that day and didn't return home.
We want to send you a Steelers home opener coming
up on Sunday. All you need to do is get
on our free iHeartRadio app, send us a Steelers hype
message with your name, where you're from, and we'll get
you qualified.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Got to get it in before 10 a.m. this morning. Hey,
what's up, Mikey? What's up, Bob?

Speaker 5 (16:53):
This is New York J up in Oakdale.

Speaker 13 (16:56):
Wanted to call, I guess, and see if we can
get some.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Steelers tickets here.

Speaker 13 (17:00):
Never been to a game myself. It's my son's birthday
this weekend.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
He's turning nine.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Love you guys. Keep up the good work. Happy birthday, Bob.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
That's not Bob's birthday today. Happy birthday to your son, too. Yeah,
that's New Year's Day when Bob's birthday is. Let's get
to some Mike McCarthy here. Mike McCarthy, Steelers head coach,
of course, was asked yesterday again about Joey Porter.

Speaker 13 (17:20):
I'd say Joey Porter, the player for Joey today, is
still working through the ramp-up stage based off what he
accomplished yesterday.

Speaker 7 (17:27):
Are you game-winning for him to play?

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Are you game planning for Joey Porter Jr. to play
is the question here.

Speaker 13 (17:34):
Valid question. For Coach McCarthy. Well, we're game planning for everybody.
I mean, that's why we go about it the way
we do. And I understand the interest of who's going
to play and who's not going to play. You know,
I think clearly that's something that I'm not going to
get into for them. the competition of the game. But
we definitely, everybody that practices, we want to make sure

(17:54):
they're ready to play.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
He's got to say something like that. Joey Porter Jr.
has been on the ramp up for a while now.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
He has, man.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
This is a never-ending ramp up for Joey Porter. He's
clear for takeoff at this point. I feel like he
may be off the runway at this point. It's time
to fly, Joey Porter Jr. Yeah, here is Coach McCarthy
talking about his ramp up to the first real game
as Steelers head coach.

Speaker 13 (18:17):
He's going really fast. And just being through before, there's
so much to do. How you prioritize is very important.
The honeymoon's over, so it's been great. The homecoming's been awesome.
But it's time to go play games. It's time to
go win. And that's the reality of why I'm here.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
You know why he's here.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
It's time to go win. He told you the honeymoon's over.
Homecoming was great. Honeymoon's over, though.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
You see the Falcons QB went down in practice?

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Careful.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Watch out now.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Tua Tagovailoa, the Falcons quarterback, was supposed to be starting
against the Steelers on Sunday. Still the plan to start,
but he does have an oblique injury now, so we'll
see if it's going to be him or.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Who the hell is that? Michael Penix, right? No, I
think he's hurt, too. Oh, is he hurt, too?

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah, I think he's hurt, too. Oh, who's the other guy, then?
Who else might we get? Is it Cooper Rush?

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Cooper Rush? Is that guy's name, Cooper Rush?

Speaker 1 (19:22):
That sounds like a guy who, though, would make an
example out of the Steelers' defense, and we'd be like, really?
We got lit up by a Cooper Rush. It sounds
like a guy that would ruin a classic Tomlin game.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
We're not sure about these anymore, though.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
What's a McCarthy game now? What's a McCarthy game? We
got beat by Cooper Rush. Is a McCarthy game when
like you have an offensive showing of like 35 42
points or something like that but you still lose i
don't know what a mccarthy game is uh here is
mike mccarthy though yesterday he was talking about how much
winning this year would mean to veterans especially getting a

(20:00):
super bowl for like cam tj boswell.

Speaker 13 (20:03):
Yeah absolutely and that's that's something that's really i think
is a as a first-year coach, you know, even first-year players,
you emphasize to the guys that have done it here
for a very long time and what that would mean
to their legacy, you know, because, you know, adding that
Super Bowl, you know, title to the resume is, I think,
everybody wants to be part of, so it just, it

(20:25):
gives you more, you know, more fire to what the
goal is and But the goal will always be here.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
It's about winning Super Bowls.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
It's about winning Super Bowls.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
By the way, he started meowing a lot when he
started talking about Super Bowls, man.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
When he gets excited, he meows a lot. You get
him real excited.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
If we go on a long run, dude, he might
start just purring up there like a cat.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Yeah, I'm like, what did you think about the win today?

Speaker 1 (20:48):
He gets half the me out, Dave.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
He's just up there purring. We're getting a playoff run.
We're on the way to win the AFC North.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
He's rubbing his face on the microphone. Why are we
turning him into a cat? He starts growling.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Playoffs are just roars, right? Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (21:11):
All right.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
It's always something with the Steelers head coach in our show.
And for some reason, we've turned Mike McCarthy into a big,
adorable kitty cat.

Speaker 9 (21:19):
96.1.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
For the first time in 10 years, Taylor Swift announced
that she is going to the CMA Awards. That's going
to be on November 18th. She got nominated for CMA
Single of the Year for that song, I Knew What
I Knew You from Toy Story 5. And she posted,
looks like I haven't yeed my last haul. Thank you, CMA.

(21:46):
See you there, November 18th. All right, so Taylor Swift's
going to be on CMA's November 18th this year. She's
trying so hard to get that number.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
She's going for that number one.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
She wants that Ella Langley spot right now.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
She's trying so hard.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
She wants to get this song to number one and
announce that you're going to CMA's.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Maybe that helps the song get up there a little bit, but...
It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. There's always
weird things happening down in the state of Florida. We
got a couple of quick Florida stories to get to today.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Here we go. Attention all listeners of The Freak Show.
It's time to travel to the Sunshine State.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Yes!

Speaker 2 (22:21):
It happened again. It's another Florida story.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Three Florida men, 19, 21, and 22 years old, We're
all charged with disorderly conduct.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
After they were intoxicated only wearing male underwear.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
All right. We have to specify it's male underwear they're wearing.
Is that like briefs?

Speaker 1 (22:44):
They were arrested around 4.30 in the morning for causing
a disturbance outside of a Waffle House.

Speaker 6 (22:51):
Man.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Which they allegedly... 4.30.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
In the morning at a Waffle House in Florida, anything
can happen, including three guys in their underpants.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
You might get eaten by an alligator. Yeah, yeah. Not
one that's on the loose.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I'm pretty sure Florida Waffle Houses have an alligator for
certain people to just, you know, you're acting up. You
got to go in the back room and fight the gator.
So there's three of them. They're outside the Waffle House.
They're ponding on the window. They're only wearing underwear. And
then they started throwing... Beef sticks.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Jesus!

Speaker 1 (23:26):
They're throwing jerky at Waffle House? They're throwing sticks of beef.
This is a party I can.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Get down with. You'd be made by underwear, whipping beef
sticks around.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
You'd be like a goalie out there protecting the Waffle House,
just trying to save it.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Trying to catch the beef, you know? Hey, what are
you doing to Waffle House? We're throwing beef at it.
Let me be part of this. Not on my watch.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Also happening down in the state of Florida. This is
in Seminole County. Always weird things happen in Florida. 41-year-old
Florida man was arrested after he was caught wearing just
G-string underwear and sneakers.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Was he in Waffle House?

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Nope, he was in a Target parking lot. No beef
sticks involved.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Well, can't confirm or deny. There was one. He told
the deputy he was outside his car changing. Changing officer?

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Because he was having a good time and got a
little wet.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Go to jail.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
Send him.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
In the rain or something? We said he was having
a good time. They searched his car and found a
backpack full of woman's underwear. Hey, go take it to
the guys at Waffle House. They're having fun with beef sticks.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
He was arrested for indecent exposure. What a couple of stories.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Down there in Florida. Florida never disappoints.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
It is Florida making the show once again. Hey, thank
you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,
whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
can hit that little talkback microphone.

Speaker 2 (25:09):

cover on the show.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Let us know where you're listening from, too.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
That's fun, too, right? People in random places.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Yeah. I hit that little talkback microphone and you can
send us a message and maybe you'll.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Make the show.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Your chance to go to the Steelers season opener, home
opener against the Falcons on Sunday. All you need to
do is download our free I heart radio app. Send
us a message with your name, where you're from and
give us some Steelers hype.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
We'll get you qualified. Morning boys.

Speaker 10 (25:45):
Hey, I got my cousin in from Italy here and I,
I'd love to take him to the Steelers game on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Cousin from.

Speaker 9 (25:54):
Here we go!

Speaker 1 (25:55):
That's Steelers. That's clearly Mario. I don't believe someone's second.
Go ahead, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
What a build-up. It's a great build-up right there. Cousin's
coming in from Italy.

Speaker 10 (26:12):
Cousin in from Italy here, and I'd love to take
him to the Steelers game on Sunday. Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Here we go.

Speaker 7 (26:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
All right. Steelers.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
All right.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Here we go, Steelers. There it is.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
We're qualified for some Steelers tickets. Hey, Bob did the work, everybody.
Bob watched the entire Aaron Rodgers conversation with Cam Hayward
on his Not Just Football podcast. Bob, you watched the
entire conversation.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
I'm not scared to get in the mud. I have to,
to try to get some good things for the show.
I feel like the headline out of Aaron Rogers on
cams podcast is not about football at all. It's about
his ex Shailene Woodley, right? Uh, yeah, he talks pretty, uh,
wild about his exes. He said, I proposed to her.
She said, yes. Now she felt like she was forced

(27:06):
to make a decision. She could have said no. A
couple of days after that, she tells me before we get,
go get married. I got to go bleep this guy. It,
It was a wild, like, pause in the conversation. He
always says something. I think he was just being honest, though,
because I don't know how you say that and then
not have some type of proof, because she's a public figure.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Like, she could just sue the hell out of him,
you know? Wasn't he talking about his ex, Danica Patrick, too?

Speaker 3 (27:35):
He was. He was.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
He went through that whole thing. It's just weird.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
I mean, you had to sift through the usual suspects
of him ranting about ESPN and stuff and things like that.
Regular stuff that he did on Pat McAfee's show, the
regular Aaron Rodgers. But I don't think I've ever heard
him talk about his exes.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Not in a positive way at all, either. No, no.
It seems like it went bad for everybody.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Kind of forgot about Shailene Woodley and the actress and
him even dating until he brought this up.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
And it's like, man. Like, why?

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Why?

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Just, I guess, why?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Why?

Speaker 2 (28:12):
It's not like Cam Hayward's grilling him, too. Just like,
tell me about how you and Shailene broke up.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Yeah, I forget what led into it. I think it
was people being obsessed with his wife. Yeah, personal life
and everything like that. His wife being fake and the
fake wife thing. And then it just kind of spun
into him having such public relationships.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
With Aaron Rodgers, it's always.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Listen, nobody knows about my private life and everything like that.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Nobody knows the whole story.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
However, let me go on these podcasts and talk about
personal moments of my life.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Let me let everybody in. He's got a Netflix whole
thing he did, right?

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Enigma.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
By the way, here's Cam Hayward talking about the Netflix
special Enigma. There's a scene in it where Aaron Rodgers
is just playing bongos.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
I mean, let's be honest. Bongo players.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
A lot of times, I'm not saying all bongo players,
but didn't Matthew McConaughey play the bongos naked before or
something like that? There was a story about that. I'm
just saying, not all bongo players are drug users.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
I mean, I've played the bongos naked before, so I'm
not one to judge. On drugs or just playfully? I
mean on the dark web. Okay, so not on drugs.
A live bongo jam session, I called it. Bob's Bongo Jam?

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Pay for play. Bongo Bob, they called me. Russia loved me, man. Listen,
russia and like germany and poland i'm a superstar over
there dark web a guy who does bongo stuff and
also looks like he can be trusted with all the

(29:53):
sausage oh my god white european countries love this man Hey, bud.
This was supposed to be the Cam Hayward podcast segment.
This is Cam talking to Aaron Rodgers about how he
sends Aaron Rodgers the video of him playing the bongos

(30:14):
all the time.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
How many times have I sent you that one picture
of you playing the bongos?

Speaker 6 (30:21):
Oh, I love it.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
I love it so much. He was fried up.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
He was.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
It's all right, though.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
I was.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Actually, he was not.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
You were not.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I was on the comedown.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
All right.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Again, this is Cam Hayward's Not Just Football podcast. He
sends Aaron Rodgers the gif of him playing the bongos
all the time. Cam says, you were fried. Aaron Rodgers says,
I was not.

Speaker 14 (30:45):
Listen, I retired from... This is breaking news here. I'm
retiring from the NFL. All right, we know that. That's
not breaking news. But Cam Hayward, he did get... I mean,
the headline.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Everywhere, TMZ and all that is the Shailene Woodley stuff
like that.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
The real headline is this.

Speaker 14 (31:01):
In a year, I'm retired from... Plant medicine. Effective immediately.
Effective immediately.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Aaron Rodgers has retired from plant medicine. Wow.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
See, that's the real headline.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
To me with Cam Hayward talking to Aaron Rodgers on
his podcast. Hang his bongos in the rafters, man. And
all that means is more plant medicine for me.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
All that means is I'm the number one bongo player
in the world now.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
Let me tell you, once me and Bob get on OnlyFans,
Plant Medicine Man and Bongo Guy, unbelievable. Give us your
credit card info right now, Dark Web.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
961 Kiss. The Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
They said they heard a 28-year-old man yelling expletives.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Expletives?

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Expletives at the staff. Man, reading is bad today for me.
When I'm going to read stuff, I'm crumbling. Stream the
Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio. or wherever you get
your podcasts. When I left the station yesterday, I walk

(32:16):
out to my purple Jeep Gladiator, thanks to our friends
at C. Harper Auto Group for sponsoring the Mikey and
Bob podcast and giving us these vehicles to drive.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Four ducks, four Jeep ducks were waiting for me.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
With a note from Angie, special ducks, happy belated birthday, Angie,
OG listener number in the thousands, but I can't remember
what it is.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
I love it. Yeah, she's been listening for a long time.
She knows about them listener numbers. Sidney Crosby duck? Yeah,
there was a Sidney Crosby duck.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
Yeah, there was a Sidney Crosby duck, and there was
a hoist-a-cone duck. There was a six-time world champion with
a helmet on it ducking. And a don't-be-a-jag-off duck. Four
ducks yesterday.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Perfect. Waiting for me when I went out to my.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
C Harper, a purple Jeep gladiator, uh, always appreciate C
Harper auto group and appreciate everybody who is, uh, randomly
leaving ducks on, uh, on my Jeep. And also C
Harper's made our own Mikey and Bob ducks that will
randomly leave on Jeeps. Bob has some, I have some,
there's really no way to get them other than we'll

(33:23):
just leave them on people's.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
We really should keep some here at the station.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
So people could just come here and I don't know,
ask office lady, Amy, be like, Hey, I'm sure Amy
would love that.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
She would not. No, not at all. I don't know, man.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
It's just, you know, I'm sure she'd love us to
assign her to be the duck keeper.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
All right.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
By the way, it's not just me getting things because
Bob got truck nuts this week.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
I did.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
We explained that whole story, how there was a package
that was addressed to Gina, who is you might hear
on the show often. We call her the toilet T-Rex,
but she forgot to send it to Mikey and Bob
and send it to her own name, but send it
to our address. And somebody opened Bob's truck nuts package
before we got to it. So somebody's dreaming about your

(34:09):
truck nuts here, Bob. It's our friend Opal. Let's get
to this talkback message.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
You know what? It's brought to us by One Team Media.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Truck nuts messages on the show today brought to us
by our good friends at One Team Media.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
Good morning, pot roast and roasting pot. Cheerful, Opal.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
I mean, that took me a minute there. Those are good.
Pot roast in roasting pot? Come on.

Speaker 5 (34:31):
I had a dream last night. It was a Bob dream.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Sorry, Mike.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
It's all right.

Speaker 5 (34:36):
But, you know, I like in the movie Accepted when
the guy's like, ask me about my wiener. Well, my
dream takes place at Gecko. And Bob's sitting there with
his truck saying, Ask me about my truck nuts.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
What a dream. And then I woke up. And then
I woke up.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Sweaty?

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Were you sweaty when you woke up? What a dream
to have. Did you wake up munching on your blanket?
Hold on. There's another message about your truck nuts.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Oh, boy, you might be listening too much if you're
dreaming about my truck nuts. I don't know why I'm
encouraging truck nuts behavior on the show, but we got.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Another truck nuts message here. Mikey.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Bob.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
There's more for Bob. Heard you got them truck nuts
for your pickup truck, Eric.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
Yeah, buddy.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
When you go mount them, make sure you leave them
a little bit loose. That way, everyone driving behind you
can see that little dingle dangle back there.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
All right, man.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
You know, got to keep them loose. Thank you, C.

Speaker 8 (35:32):
Why?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
So they can dangle.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Everybody behind you can see the dingle dangle. You don't
want them firm and in place. Them truck nuts got
to have a little give to them, you know? They
got to be able to shake it when you put
the brakes on it.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Hey, I don't know why in my head before owning
truck nuts, I thought they were like a light, like
3D printed type. material no they're they gotta be for
all weather bro like if you're following a truck that
has truck nuts on it though there is danger because
if those truck nuts come loose they're coming through the
windshield especially and your insurance you're gonna have to explain

(36:07):
that to your insurance somehow especially the rubbery ones you
have they bounce right up right in your windshield right
yeah yeah all of a sudden safe flight repair safe
light replace what happened truck nuts went through my windshield
You head out to Shadyside after the show this afternoon here, Bob?

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Yeah, yeah. Going to see everybody at Henny Jewelers.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Henny Jewelers, by the way. They're at Shadyside. Just the
Henny family, everybody. They've been so nice to us over
the years. We've bought some things from them over the years,
you know, and they're just the best. The way they
treat us, how they treat everybody.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Else, man, you know?

Speaker 1 (36:45):
I got to get one of my wife's rings fixed. It, like,
bent the prong off and, like, one of the little side...

a talkback message before 10 a.m. this morning through the
free iHeartRadio app for your chance to win. Just tell

(38:11):
us your name, where you're from, and sort of why
you want to go to the Steelers game.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Hey, it's our mover friend Mills on the Mount here.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
Hey, guys.

Speaker 15 (38:18):
Mills on the Mount. Just putting in my entry for
the Stillers tickets. Let's go Lers. Mom's going to be
here for the weekend, and it would be awesome to
take Condog to the game. And also, we are officially
a week into the Movers group, and we have 180
people in there already.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
If you haven't come.

Speaker 15 (38:35):
To check it out, do so. It's a pretty lit space,
and it's been amazing connecting with people.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Bye!

Speaker 1 (38:41):
Yeah, the movers group on Facebook is now over 200 members.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Again, me and Bob don't run this.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
It's just a bunch of people who listen to the
show that wanted to connect with people that listen to
the show. And it's fun because everybody's in there. If
you want to go find our unofficial Mikey and Bob
fan group, the movers on Facebook.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Bob, you ready to milk?

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Yeah. Because we got some Stellars coming up on Sunday.
And I think I'm ready to milk some of this
Steelers content.

Speaker 16 (39:15):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content. Milk, milk, milk, milk,
milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Hey, there's there's a rookie he's from Mount Lebo and
he is gonna be putting.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
On that black and gold.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
Eli Eli Heidenreich you know from Mount Lebo dude what
a moment first like regular season home game i mean
he gets drafted by the steelers when we have the
draft in pittsburgh he's been living the dream for a
while but like that first run out of the tunnel
yeah home game crowd going nuts eli was asked about

(39:58):
you know uh what's the family looking like how many
family we're gonna have in the stands on sunday.

Speaker 17 (40:04):
Yeah i got uh i got a lot of family
going you know most of the cousins and obviously my
direct family but you know all the aunts, uncles, grandparents
in the area will be there too. So, you know,
I'm super fired up. Just, you know, it's humbling to
go out there and put on that uniform and be
able to play on that field.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
You should have just been like, most Mount Lebo's going
to be there. Honestly, yeah. It sounds like that's what's
going to happen.

Speaker 16 (40:25):
As we milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Eli Heidenreich was also asked, you know, this is big.
You're from here. You're a Yinzer.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
What's the next couple of days before the game look like?

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Wait till you hear what he's got going on. Nothing
going on.

Speaker 17 (40:44):
Me and Coons were talking about going to Texas Roadhouse
this week, but I don't know if that's going to
be going on. So that's the only potential plan I have.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Plans up in the air.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
Hasn't confirmed it with Christian Coons, the long snapper yet,
who's got his own podcast.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
That's fantastic, right? Texas Roadhouse rolls.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
I love that he just gets asked, what's your next
couple of days look like?

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Thinking that the answer is going to.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Be like, I have to secure 50 tickets from Mount Lebanon.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Right?

Speaker 2 (41:12):
I'm going to, you know, do this, do that.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
It's like, me and Cates might get a Texas Roadhouse,
but we're not sure yet.

Speaker 16 (41:19):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 3 (41:26):
96.1. Yes.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
It is Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Of course,
we're ramping up to the Steelers.

Speaker 7 (41:33):
Home opener.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
On Sunday. You got Friday Night Lights, high school football tonight. Saturday,
pits at home against UCF. And then Sunday, it's the Steelers. Again,
all you got to do is get on the free
iHeartRadio app. Send us a talkback message with your name,
where you're from. Give us some here we go Steelers hype.
and we'll get you qualified for home opener tickets. You've
got to do that before 10 a.m.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
This morning.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
All right, let's get to another talkback message here brought
to us by The Pavement Group.

Speaker 3 (42:01):
Hey, boys.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
I hope you're doing well. Not sure if you played
it yet on the show.

Speaker 15 (42:05):
I'm just getting up and ready and on my way
into work.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
But with it being the Steelers opening weekend, I wanted
to see if you guys could.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
Play the NFL. Pittsburgh Steelers, great football team.

Speaker 9 (42:19):
That's a classic.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
It is.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
All right, guys, have a good day.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Steelers! All right, I guess this is just part of
the Steelers hype that we do.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
It's a classic. Just years ago, I don't know how
we found this video. It had like less than 100
views when we found it on YouTube. It was by
an artist named Golden Boy.

Speaker 2 (42:37):
Golden Boy.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
And he would just make songs for every professional sports team.
I don't even know how we found this song. I
don't know if a listener sent it to us, but
when you hear it, you'll just appreciate the magic that
it is. Let's welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Welcome to Steelers.

Speaker 9 (43:00):
Great football team.

Speaker 13 (43:01):
Great football team.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
NFL.

Speaker 16 (43:02):
NFL.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Oh, drop that beat.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
NFL.

Speaker 9 (43:07):
NFL.

Speaker 1 (43:08):
NFL.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
NFL. NFL.

Speaker 16 (43:10):
Pittsburgh Steelers professional.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Football team in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 4 (43:20):
Member of the North Division of the American Football Conference.

Speaker 9 (43:23):
The team is great.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
The team is great.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
Great, great, great, great.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
The Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker 6 (43:36):
Back again on the right track.

Speaker 2 (43:39):
Back again on the right track.

Speaker 16 (43:43):
Like in 1974.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
1975.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Let's go down the list of Super Bowls, guys. 1978.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
Oh, yeah, list of all.

Speaker 1 (43:48):
We got six.

Speaker 16 (43:49):
1979.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Oh, this is hot as it gets.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
2005 and 2008. Oh, drop that beat.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Drop that beat.

Speaker 4 (43:53):
NFL.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
NFL. NFL!

Speaker 8 (44:02):
NFL!

Speaker 6 (44:03):
Interception! Free goals!

Speaker 1 (44:09):
Sacks!

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Spartan Conception!

Speaker 4 (44:11):
Baseball Steelers!

Speaker 6 (44:28):
I'm back again on the right track this time.

Speaker 9 (44:30):
Let's watch them. Watch them.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Get them.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
NFL. NFL.

Speaker 9 (44:34):
NFL.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
Does it get any hotter than that?

Speaker 3 (44:48):
No.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
As far as a Pittsburgh Steelers song goes. The greatest.

Speaker 1 (44:52):
Heat.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
That is heat right there. That beat drops. That is heat.

Speaker 16 (44:56):
NFL.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Yeah, that's going to be stuck in my head all day.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Giving away some tickets to see the sold-out role model
show at the brand-new place. Looks so great. Citizens Live
at the Wiley. It's going to be a cool new
venue across from the arena there.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Hi, who's this?

Speaker 10 (45:11):
Hi, this is Celeste.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Celeste, how are you this morning? Everything good?

Speaker 1 (45:15):
Yes, it's my birthday today.

Speaker 2 (45:16):
Oh, wow. Happy birthday. Jeez. My birthday, too. Okay. Oh,
my gosh. No way. Birthday twins. Birthday twin!

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Okay, Celeste, it is not Bob's birthday. His birthday is
New Year's Day. It's really your birthday today? No, happy birthday.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 7 (45:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Role model tickets.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
This is going to be a big one at the
new place, Citizens Live at the Wiley, October 1st.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
It's sold out. It's going to be a big show.
You're a caller nine. Happy birthday. You got tickets. Yay!

Speaker 4 (45:46):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (45:47):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
Just hold on one second. We're going to get all
your details for you, okay?

Speaker 1 (45:50):
Woo! Got it.

Speaker 10 (45:51):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
It is Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Let's
get to a talkback message brought to us by The
Pavement Group.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Mikey, Bob, problem.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
Uh-oh.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
My bidet broke.

Speaker 1 (46:01):
Oh, no.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
That piece that dangles down broke off, fell into the bowl.
Like the door? Had to get a glove, dig it out. Oh.
Dig it out. Send my bidet to the crossroads.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
Oh, jeez.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
Good news is now I get to order a new one.
I'm going to get one of those fancy ones. dries
your butt and everything, heats it up. They're so expensive.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
If you're getting your butt dried by your bidet, that's
at least $ 1, 000 or something like that.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
All right, well, his bidet, bro.

Speaker 9 (46:28):
Oh, damn!

Speaker 2 (46:31):
Send his bidet to the crossroads.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
He somehow broke off the little wand part, shoots the water. Goodbye,
butt sprayer. Get him his butt sprayer. Get him his
butt sprayer. Get him his butt sprayer. I've never broken
one before. We've had ours for at least, God, five
years now? Yeah, the door, the little piece of plastic

(46:55):
that hides the squirter thing.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Oh, yeah, the wand comes out. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (46:59):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
I broke that off before cleaning my toilet. Oh, okay.
What I do now is... I will, the bidet we have,
I'll just detach the bidet and clean the whole damn toilet,
you know?

Speaker 2 (47:10):
You take it on and off.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
I do that.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
I do it.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
You got to get in there, man. I don't mess
around with toilets. What kind of stuff are you doing
on that toilet?

Speaker 1 (47:19):
You know, I've been known a few times here and
there to poop like a goof.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
All right. I'd be pooping like a goof, and I'll
need some cleanup.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
I'll need to get the scrubbing bubbles out if I'm
pooping like a goof. I imagine the first learning curve
with the bidet, because it's shocking at first if you
don't have one. It took a little bit of adjustment,
but then you ease into it, and it's amazing. I
imagine that being the same way with the air dryer one. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
The air dryer, you probably got to adjust to that.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
That luxury thing.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
I want it all man i just you know i
can't even imagine having a heated toilet seat no i
just sit there i want one of them towel warmers
dude you know how good heated seats are in your
car could you imagine a heated toilet seat like heated
floors in your bathroom that's some luxury stuff right there
lay naked on it i love how luxury to us

(48:11):
is just what can what can make our butts feel
good That's real luxury right there.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
That is. Hey, see Harper Auto Group.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
You got any vehicles over there that sort of massage
your butt cheeks while you're driving?

Speaker 3 (48:26):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
I'd have to pull over. Sir, can we help you out?

Speaker 9 (48:34):
No.

Speaker 2 (48:35):
You just leave me alone is what you need to do.
Are you in distress? You all right? You got a flat?
Leave me alone. I'm getting rump rubs in here.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Officer, you see this button right here? Okay, the hands
are on my meat right now. The meaty cheeks are
just getting massaged. All right, let's get to another talkback
message here.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
Man, it's just.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
I know it's a weird show we have, but our
buddy Raccoon Tim, who is a friend of wildlife. Is
he calling about the reptiles? I saw there's a big
reptile show. No, he's actually calling about your truck nuts. Again,
a wonderful listener.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Gina, the toilet. T-Rex, Mail Bob.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
It's a big set of, yeah, that goes on the
back of your truck and hangs.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
It's huge, though. It weighs like a pound or two.

Speaker 1 (49:31):
I picture Raccoon Tim being a truck nuts expert.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
All right, well, let's get the Raccoon Tim here.

Speaker 12 (49:36):
Hey, Mikey and Big Bob. It's your boy, Raccoon Tim. So, Bob,
those aren't truck nuts. Those nuts belong on the back
end of a Honda.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
No.

Speaker 12 (49:46):
Dragging on the ground with the word ouch on it.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
No.

Speaker 12 (49:49):
You need a pair of big, old truck nuts.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
All right. You need a big sack for that Dodge Ram.
Not a little sack.

Speaker 12 (49:59):
A little sack belongs on a Honda.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
Maybe I'll send you a pair. What in the Santa
Claus is he talking about right there?

Speaker 4 (50:05):
Sacks.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
We're talking about truck nuts, not a sack. I need
bigger ones.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
Listen, I don't know if anybody has not been to
our Mikey and Bob Facebook page yet.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
You can see the truck nuts that were mailed to Bob. Big.
This is not what they're supposed to be. Don't challenge raccoons, Tim.
It's huge. You'll find bigger ones. I didn't know you
could buy them this big and heavy. These are not, Tim,
they're not Honda ones. Don't challenge them. They'll get you.

Speaker 4 (50:35):
Not big enough. Hey, they don't hang low enough for Tim,
all right?

Speaker 2 (50:39):
You got a Ram truck. You need bigger ones, okay? Hey,
just wait, man.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
This weekend, the fifth annual Pittsburgh Mega Reptile Expo at
the Monroeville Convention Center.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
Get yourself some snakes. Lizards. All of it. And maybe
Raccoon Tim. Get some truck nuts for Tim. It's definitely
a Friday show today, man.

Speaker 8 (51:02):
The Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
If you missed any of our show today or this week,
get caught up with our Mikey and Bob Podcast on
the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by our friends
at the C.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
Harper Auto Group. Let's get to this. We're all going
to learn something together right now. It's time to find out.
Why the hell is this trending? with mikey and bab.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
Hey drewski's got a new skit out of course hilarious
actor comedian internet guy drewski he's playing uh a white
lady and it's just what was the the title on
it just everybody's got somebody like this in their hometown
yeah it's just it's got 31 million views in like
12 hours drewski dropped another one if you're a fan

(51:48):
of his skits. Bob, let's talk about OnlyFans real quick. OnlyFans,
you know, you go online, you pay for creators and
stuff like that. There is definitely an adult component to OnlyFans.
There was an OnlyFans sort of ranking, I guess, of just,
you know, cities and who spends the most sort of

(52:09):
per 10,000 residents on OnlyFans.

Speaker 2 (52:12):
Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
What?

Speaker 2 (52:14):
We're in the top 15.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
We came in at number 12 for OnlyFans.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
Sitting at number 12? Yeah. Now, we're not counting.

Speaker 1 (52:22):
People because obviously like New York, LA, cities like that
have more people. But they do it on a curve
because it's per 10,000 people how much you spend. Per
10,000 residents, Pittsburgh is spending about a quarter million dollars
on OnlyFans.

Speaker 4 (52:38):
All right.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
Wait, are me and you missing out on this money?
The only thing I see with that, it's not like, oh,
that's sad.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
It's just like, oh, that's... That's an opportunity.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
Pittsburgh, just over $ 256, 000 spent on OnlyFans for 10,000 residents.
In comparison, Philadelphia, $ 109, 000 per 10,000 residents. Where are you at, Philly?
We own this state, huh? Hey, we're over here just
watching weird stuff on OnlyFans.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
Some of it's weird. Some of it's for, you know,
after dark.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (53:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
You know, you say we're missing out on this OnlyFans money.
Do you remember when somebody made a fake OnlyFans for you?

Speaker 2 (53:22):
I do. Yeah, absolutely. The only way.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Like it showed up in my work email to verify
the account being made.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
I'm just like, no, no, no, not clicking on that.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
Somebody tried to sign you up for like an OnlyFans account. So, hey, congratulations, Pittsburgh.
We're cooking on OnlyFans. Half a quarter million dollars. For
every 10,000 residents, that's 12th in the country. Jay-Z had
a show in Paris last night. Surprise guests. He brought
out Justin Timberlake and Pharrell. Also, Taylor Swift has announced

(53:55):
she's going to go to the CMA Awards this year because.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
I knew it.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
I knew you was nominated for a CMA award.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
She posted.

Speaker 1 (54:01):
That's not why she's going. She wants that song to
be number one. She wants that to take out Ella Langley.
That's why she's going.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
She posted.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
Looks like I haven't yeed my last haul. Thank you, CMA.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
See you there. November 18th.

Speaker 1 (54:15):
Of course, Harry Styles has announced some new, new dates
for his together together tour, which is going to end
next year. Bunch of dates. We were talking about this yesterday,
ending next August. I mean, he's going on tour forever.
Next August, he ends with three shows at Wembley in London.
Still no Pittsburgh date for Harry Styles. Not sure if

(54:37):
we're going to get one. He's playing a bunch of stadiums.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
And Mr.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
Rooney said he'll build a stadium over his dead body.
Get your final talkback messages in. You have until 10 a.m.
to send us a message with your name, where you're from,

Speaker 1 (56:06):
Here we go.

Speaker 13 (56:07):
And I would love to take my wonderful husband.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
That would be a great way to start off our
week off of work that we've waited all summer for.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
All right.

Speaker 10 (56:16):
Love you, boys.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Man, a whole week off work. Just knowing it's coming.
You and your husband after you've been working all summer. Yeah,
that's good stuff right there. All right, let's get to
another one here. Hey, Hot Garage and Garage Thoughts.

Speaker 9 (56:29):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (56:31):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (56:32):
Now, Garage Thoughts, because I spend some time in my garage,
you know, Hot crotch for the obvious reasons.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
Yeah, Bob.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
I mean, whether it's just him in the studio with
a hot crotch or him.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
It's just my aura, man.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
Him at the TSA line getting flagged because he's got.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
A hot crotch. It's a vibe I put out. Garage thoughts.
It's Kyle from Blairsville.

Speaker 7 (56:56):
I'm calling for them Steelers tickets.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
Yeah, bud. I'd love to take my wife's pregnant ass
to her first Steelers game before our son's born at
the end of the month. All right, listen.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
Don't just dismiss her like, I'd take my wife's pregnant ass.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
So here we go, Steelers, baby. Let's go, boys. Super
Bowl year. Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
I doubt it.

Speaker 2 (57:18):
Hey, man, come on. All right. Happy birthday, Bob.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Hey, man.

Speaker 3 (57:23):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
Listen, you get three thumbs down for me, my pregnant wife.
Happy birthday, Bob. Steelers not making a Super Bowl. Not
Bob's birthday. His birthday is New Year's Day. You have
until 10 a.m.

Speaker 2 (57:35):
This morning.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
Send us a talkback message. Try to win some Steelers
tickets for Sunday's opener.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
96.1.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
Next weekend right here on 96.1 KISS, Friday and Saturday night.
And on Disney Plus and Hulu, it is our iHeartRadio
Music Festival. It's Mikey and Bob on 96.1 KISS.

Speaker 3 (58:11):
Hi, guys.

Speaker 10 (58:12):
My name's Missy.

Speaker 12 (58:13):
I'm from Shaler.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
I am trying to get to the Steeler game because
I'm very pregnant with two identical future Steeler fans. Wow.

Speaker 13 (58:24):
If I don't get to this one, I'm not sure
if I'll make it.

Speaker 15 (58:27):
To any of the other ones.

Speaker 10 (58:29):
I'm going to be either too.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
Fat or their babies are going to be here.

Speaker 17 (58:33):
Help me out, guys.

Speaker 2 (58:34):
I mean, she's got a good point. This might be
her last chance.

Speaker 1 (58:37):
You're in luck, though, because Steely McBean is trained to
deliver babies. Steely McBean is not. If you go into
labor there, later in your pregnancy, Steely would be the one.
He puts on the scrubs and everything. He keeps his
Steely hands, though. The Steely hands don't come off.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
Okay, then. Neither does the head. Do the overalls stay on?

Speaker 1 (59:02):
Yeah, but he's got the doctor scrubs like over the top.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
Steely McBean can deliver. If anybody is giving birth.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
At Accra, Steely is the on call. I've actually heard
he's going to be featured in the pit. I don't
think that's a real thing at all. Hey, let's get
to Cam Hayward here, man. Bob listened to the whole

(59:30):
Cam Hayward podcast that he did with Aaron Rodgers, and
there's a point where Cam's talking about he used to
cry before games. Yeah, there's a segment like Cam does
where it's like ask Cam anything, and whoever the guest
is gets to ask Cam a question or two, and
he answers them. Aaron Rodgers really thought out his questions, though,

(59:51):
and basically asked Cam just like, looking back, is there
anything you'd ask or tell yourself? now, those early years
of the NFL, what would you say to yourself?

Speaker 14 (01:00:01):
What would you tell your young self, in the league,
young self, first couple years?

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
I think the thing I struggled with my first couple
years was not playing.

Speaker 14 (01:00:09):
How many years did you not play?

Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
First two years, I barely touched the field.

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
This is like a somber, reflective Aaron Rodgers and Cam right.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
Here, right?

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
Yeah, got serious. Yeah, toned down here.

Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
I would go to a game upset, I think I
cried before even getting to the stadium because I wanted
to play so bad.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
Damn.

Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
But I never let that affect, like, relationships and, like,
teammates because, like, I love those dudes. And, like, I
respected them, like. These dudes just went to the Super
Bowl and lost.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Yeah, he's talking about the Super Bowl Aaron Rodgers beat
him in, too. He's talking about the Super Bowl down
in Dallas where the Packers beat him. Cam was young there,
not even really playing. He respected all the older, you know,
the Kiesels, the Aaron Smithes.

Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
I'm appreciative just to be here, but I want to
be on the field. But I think just understanding the
patience of it all, because you want to be in
this thing for a long time, and you want to
appreciate these moments, but your time's going to come. You
just got to be ready. And I was, but I
remember just calling me like, man, I don't even want
to go to the game because I'm just so upset
because I want to be out there with those dudes.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
Man, I blew it. That's on me. I blew it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
Cam Hayward, we refer to him as sitcom dad Cam.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
I mean, he just did. I forgot the music. You know,
we should have had the music behind him talking about, man,
I blew that. Hey, listen.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
I got to get it out of my system. The
real season starts on Sunday. I got to be on
point here. Mike McCarthy does the meows. Cam Hayward talks
like a sitcom dad. Aaron Rodgers, UFO. Yeah, we get
the X-Files music for Aaron Rodgers. And listen, hey, we
needed preseason too. We'll be ready to go by our

(01:01:53):
show Monday. But, you know, I got to get better
with our Steelers coverage here.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
We're ramping up. Colin Jost from, you know, SNL.

Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
He's going to be at Rivers Casino tonight. Stand up.

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
Stand up. Not bad.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Clemente Museum is doing Clemente Bridge Fest at 3 p.m.

Speaker 3 (01:02:16):
Today.

Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
They closing down a bridge for that? Are they just
throwing a bridge party on the Clemente Bridge?

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
3 p.m.

Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
Today.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
Pirates are in Chicago. They swept the White Sox, man.
Jared Jones had like a no-hitter later into the game.
I know we're still a couple games away. We're a
couple games back from even being in it. Oh, my gosh.
Because everybody stopped paying attention. Gets you a little excited.
That's what we need to do. We need to stop
paying attention, and that's when they do good. When we

(01:02:46):
count on them, that's.

Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
When it falls apart. If they somehow sneak. Don't do this.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
If they somehow sneak into this. You see Braxton Ashcraft's out.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
No! He's done.

Speaker 12 (01:02:55):
No!

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Yeah, he's heartfelt.

Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
Off no yeah it's not you you want to shine
it anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
They're heating up at the right time oh yeah you know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
What they are they're heating up at the right time
they are they are don't let them in also in
monroville reptile convention convention center What a place, you know?
What an adventure it is. Anything's possible. Hey, Kennywood Phantom

(01:03:24):
Fright Night opens this weekend, too, man.

Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
Saturday night, right?

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
You got some pit football at Accra. Sure, they're taking
on UCF on Saturday. And then, of course, Duller's on Sunday.
Shout out to Steve and all the Kennywood Fright Night
workers over there.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
Yeah, they're awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
They come out to our Stuff-A-Bus yearly charity toy drive
we do for the Marines Toys for Tots every year. Yeah, Steve,
all our friends over at Kennywood working the Phantom Fright Nights.

Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Hey, scared of peeing poo out of people, huh?

Speaker 7 (01:03:52):
You know?

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
Do your job. Make them pee.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
What? Hey.

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Phantom Fight Nights. Make them pee. Make them pee.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Hey, we're getting our final entries in here before 10 a.m.
Send your talkback messages in to try to go to
the Steelers home opener. Someone will randomly be called after
our show. You know, we let our promotions director, Dan,
handle all that. They don't let us pick. No, they don't, unfortunately.
But let me get to this one real quick.

Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
Mikey, Bob, it's Dan and Imperial. I need to steal
a ticket for the Wifenheids, our anniversary.

Speaker 6 (01:04:30):
Congrats.

Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Here we go, Steelers.

Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
Dude, that's... Is that Big Rig? That's Big Boy Honks
right there, man. That is Big Boy Honks right there.

Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
Out there hauling. Love when we get the Big Boy
Honks on the show.

Speaker 7 (01:04:44):
Here we go, Steelers.

Speaker 16 (01:04:46):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
I'm just over here pulling the air horn, you know,
the international sign for the truck driver horn.

Speaker 2 (01:04:57):
You were pulling your horn open.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
It's over your tugging on it. I used to do
that as a kid all the time, man. All the time.
Can we stop doing that as adults?

Speaker 12 (01:05:07):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:05:08):
I mean, it's kind of weird if a 40-year-old guy's
hanging out the window flagging down truckers.

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
I want to hear it, too, though. I've never grown
out of wanting to. You see how excited I am
just to hear this guy give us some honks? Here
we go, Steelers! We lost our way! If you're an adult,
go ahead. Well, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Do truckers like doing, they probably like doing it for
kids though. You know, I wonder if this is like
an adult autograph seeker sort of scenario for truckers.

Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Like they see my dumb ass. They don't, they don't
do it for grown men. Give me a hook.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
Give me a honk. For kids only. Hey, guys, just
look at me like, you're older than me.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
No.

Speaker 6 (01:05:48):
You know? Like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
All right, man. Maybe it's for kids then.

Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
Huh?

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Hey, if this ever falls apart and I become a
full-time trucker, I'm honking for.

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
Everybody that pulls that horn.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
You see a guy out there in a Ram truck
with a mustache on his window just air tugging at you?

Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
You got to give it for him.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
Give him a honk.

Speaker 2 (01:06:07):
Give him a honk. You got to do it. You
got to do it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
All right, it's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS.
It's a big weekend, man. It's a lot of football
this weekend, high school football tonight, Pitt tomorrow at home,
and then, of course, it's all about them Steelers. Man,
it's not just about the Steelers game. It's everything that
comes with Steelers season. It's the feeling you're going to
have waking up on Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
Oh, man, if you're going down to the game and
you're tailgating, you're seeing the people.

Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
You know, maybe your neighbors that you always sit by
and tailgate with. Maybe they gave their preseason tickets away.
Maybe you haven't seen them since, you know, the last
Steelers season. You got all your friends. You see all
your stellar friends. You got fake Paul Amalu down there.
You got the Steeler Pope. You got Steeler Jesus roaming around.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
All the characters, man. Man, all of it. Like, guy
who wears the shoulder pads.

Speaker 16 (01:06:57):
You know?

Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
That guy that dresses like T.J.

Speaker 5 (01:06:59):
Watt.

Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Yeah, throw him in there, too. All the characters, man.
It's just good.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
Hey, Monday, we get to read real week one Steelers
Facebook comments. They could win by four touchdowns, and we're
still reading Steelers Facebook comments on the show.

Speaker 2 (01:07:16):
Hicksburg's going to the meow, meow, meow.

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Meow, meow, meow.

Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
Hey, by the way, if they win by four touchdowns,
you know it's not going to be all positive. It's
going to be, this is what happens. When you don't
have a head coach who's building a Minecraft city for
12 years, that's what's going to happen.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
You're probably right. You're probably right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
What else do we got to tell the kids before
we get out of here? Bob named the podcast. You
want to do some of that?

Speaker 6 (01:07:46):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
Our podcast, of course, brought to us by our good
friends at the C Harper auto group.

Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
What's the name of today's podcast? Bongo Bob and beef sticks.

Speaker 16 (01:07:58):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
That's the name of the podcast today. Thanks to our
friends at the C Harper auto group. Thanks to all
of you for listening to the show.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
It's a big weekend. Steelers are back in our lives.

Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
We will recap it all and read some Steelers, Facebook
comments on Monday morning.

Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
That's it for us. Life is good though. I want
y'all to see that life is great.

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
Your life is great too.

Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
Have a good time, man. Have some fun.

Speaker 6 (01:08:23):
Having fun is okay.

Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
Get some love in your life.

Speaker 6 (01:08:26):
Whether that be, Another person or just loving yourself, man.

Speaker 2 (01:08:30):
Love is good. Spread love. WKST FM Pittsburgh. 96.1 KISS.
