In my entire adult life, and maybe it's the same
for you, Bob. I have never experienced what one of
our listeners experienced. I came in this morning, there's a
there's a message waiting for us, and uh, I just
like this guy obviously had to tell somebody about what
he experienced.

Okay, it just so happened. He thought we were the guys. So, yeah,
I'm just driving down the highway, huh.

And I watched the street lights come on.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Oh wow, whoa. I don't know if I've ever seen
that as an adult. Wow, when you're a kid playing outside,
I feel like, growing up, you see the street lights
come on, right yeah as a kid, yeah yeah, oh yeah,
as we grew up like the eighties whatever, nineties. But
I've never experienced that an adult. He's just driving down
the road and all of a sudden, the street lights
come on. That's like mid Parkway or down seventies now, huhuh.

I mean I can remember, like they're not on all
the time, and this guy saw the exact moment that
He's looking around like you just saw a unicorn. Probably
a fairly common thing. I would think that everybody at
some point gets I've never seen the street lights come
on that I can remember as an adult. He's looking
at the people he's driving around. He's like, did you
see that? Nobody else, nobody else reacting, Hey, they just

came on. He's like, I gotta tell Mike and Bob
then and then yes, as to send us a message like, hey, guys,
the street lights just came on and I was there
to see it.

Wow.

Yeah.

He didn't give it. He didn't give a wow idea
there wow wow. Yeah, that's good stuff. Man uh man.

possibly kidnapped, has taken another turn. We will get to

many years. She's been such a great host for the
Today Show. Her mother has been missing for a few
days now, and yesterday we were talking about how there
were news outlets and media outlets that were getting ransom notes,
you know about put bitcoin in an account or something

like that, you know, right, And that was the update yesterday.
And then yesterday Savannah Guthrie and her sister and her
brother put out a video like I did not expect
it to get to that. This does not seem like
real life. Like the host of the Today Show, Savannah
Guthrie is doing a video basically pleading for the release

and safe return of their mother. Our mom is a.

Kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and liked.
She has grandchildren that adore her and crowd around her
and cover her with kisses. The light is missing from
our lives who need our mom.

Mama, Mama, if you're listening, we need you to come home.

We miss you.

Our mom is our heart and our home. She's eighty
four years old. Her health. Her heart is special.

So that was like Savannah go through there with her
sister and brother pleading just sort of for their mother.
Hard watch, like it's a comple when it's long. Yeah,
it's a hard watch. It is basically like, you know,
like a ransom and like a kidnapping. It does you
never see these in real life? I don't think, like
that's why it's so shocking to see. This is like

a movie. It's somebody that everybody knows and has been
part of everybody's life for years now. So then Savannah Guthrie,
I didn't know if they were going to do this,
but they brought up the ransom letters.

We too have heard the reports about a ransom letter
in the media. As a family, we are ready to talk. However,
we live in a world where voices and images are
easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that
she is alive and that you have her. We want

their their mother's missing and possibly kidnapped. You know, from
living in a world She's right, we live in a
world where AI is good enough, where voices can be
manipulated and videos can be and it's like, I don't
know how you proved that proof of life. You know, like,
what a horrible situation it is playing out in front

of all of us, and you know, the the minor
thing in this situation is I mean just we've talked
about this before the the Winter Olympics, which are such
a tent pole thing, just a massive deal for NBC.
The opening ceremony is tomorrow. Savannah Guthrie is such a
huge part of their Olympic coverage. There's you know, she's

not going over there now, And weren't you saying that,
Craig Melvin, Yeah, today's show, he's not going over there
now either. Yeah, he's out too. It's just a sad,
sad situation and you know, you hope it has a
good ending, but man, I just don't know. I can't
remember ever seeing anything like this with such a famous

person playing almost like kidnapping ransom style video for the
return of their like eighty year old you know mother.
It's just something we're not used to seeing and obviously
disturbing to watch, knowing that this is happening in our
country right now and nobody has any idea where her

mom is and hopefully it has a happy ending. All right, Well,

Pittsburgh a football town. You know we're in Pittsburgh. We
love football here, but the whole country's about to find
out how deep our love for football goes in its

The film premiere is February twenty eighth, runs exclusively at
the Science Centers of Rangos Giant Cinema in the week's
leading up to the draft. At the end of April,
the NFL Film's Vice President and head of Content, Keith Costro, said,
Pittsburgh is a special place helped build America and America's game.

NFL Films been searching for the perfect subject for our
first immersive format documentary, and we found it in Western Pennsylvania.

Steelers said coach is an offensive guy. He's going to

call the plays. But fifty three year old Brian Angelico
is the new offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers, pass
game coordinator and tight ends coach for the Vikings since
twenty twenty two. He also had ties to Mike McCarthy
as the Packers tight end coach from twent outand sixteen
to twenty eighteen, and he was a pit assistant for

five seasons. Because, of course, everybody that has a Pittsburgh tie,
of course you're coming to McCarthy's staff. It is Mikey

Cam Hayward's out at you know, the just I believe
he was promoting twisted tea. I think I saw a
twisted tea case next to him. You know, football players

go out there, they do interviews and yeah, what do
you got for us? And they can't twisted tea. There's
a lot worse products to be promoting out there. Yeah,
absolutely so. There's old players promoting like jockets and stuff

random thing. What a product that cures jockeytch. No, I'm
actually just here to promote Jockeych.

Cam Hayward was on the Jim Rome Show yesterday talking
about new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy, and I did
not know there was a connection here.

I just talked to him not too long ago, and
I love that he loves Pittsburgh. That is means the
world to me because that's someone who's going to value
the job. That's someone who's going to make the most
out of this opportunity. There's a hunger, there's a respect there.
His family still lives in Pittsburgh, and so we talked
about that. My family still lives in Pittsburgh as well.

prepared for this. This is just such a Pittsburgh as
a big city but a small city.

His brother was actually my next door neighbor all those
years ago.

next door neighbor for a period of time.

Oh okay, his brother was actually my next door neighbor
all those years ago. So of course I've had a
leg up and admiring him from you know, afar.

But he's a hell of a coach too.

Also, Cam Hayward is going to be This will probably
air during the game on Sunday. He's in an NFL
youth special like com Marshall where there's kids singing. It's
to promote like all the you know, youth football teams
that the NFL has and all that, you know, expanding
the game. And you know it's listen, it's soft piano.

It's children singing, kids with Cam and some players. Cam
Hayward's in there too.

just over fifteen hundred dollars from a public's grocery store.
He was stealing premium beef and lamb. Then he went
to a different public s grocery store, walked out with
over two hundred or two thousand dollars worth of stolen steak, tenderloin, pork,

He was so.

He was so angered by the fact that his girlfriend
was cooking dinner for another man.

Another guy shows up. He wanted to show up at
his girlfriend's house with the meat, and he walked in
and she's cooking meat for somebody else, and he said,
that's it. I'm taking my meat out of here. And
he just threw away the stolen meat. He's freaked out
and just dumped it all. Yeah, I guess are you

putting four thousand dollars worth of meat? The county sheriff
said this was a calculated high stakes operation.

That left two stores with significant losses. The bottom line

with her sister and her brother and just pleaing for

to get a bunch of patients. They're starting to get

unresolved conflict there that's gonna show up in this episode.
It also says that Santos is struggling to keep pace

thinks I had talked to him. I hadn't had a
chance to talk to him, and so I get into
the room and I'm looking at my player grade sheet,

all your coaches to talk And then he starts talking
and he says, you know, I think it's time to

step down. And I was like, did I just hear those?

Like my t's about to step down? And I think
we were all just in shock by you know, you
could hear a pin drop and everybody was in there,
and you know, I got a chance to talk to
him after that day, but you know I just told
him like this shocked me, and you know it happened
so abrupt. I felt like I had failed him in
that moment. What do you mean, Well, just we never

got to reach the pinnacle of success like we always
talked about.

That sucks like that it never happened. Coach Tomlin and
Cam never never got a Lombardi together got the share
of that moment. So I do feel Cam Hayward Lombardi. Yeah,
