Game six as the Penguins try to be only the
fifth team in NHL history to overcome a three to

been stopping insers from having road rage with our fun
and laughter all the time.

what was good though? We didn't have any incidents where
somebody came in from out of town into the draft
and tried to get through the tunnel over into the
left lane to go to the draft. We didn't have

any of those incidents where it was a complete meltdown.
I don't even think we had traffic for the draft.
It was pretty easy to navigate for people by the
way at A lot was made of course about the
you know, local small businesses downtown and uh, you know
down the Strip district that didn't see the bump that
they sort of thought was coming for the NFL draft.

way now, still a couple of little closures and stuff
like that.

Right that point, we're pretty much back to normal commutes
at this point. Mayor Korey O'Connor, of course, he was
the champion here of the NFL Draft. He was everywhere
before the draft, after the draft, during the draft, you know,
is on our show talking about the draft and a
lot of the criticism, I think, and by the way
everything went so smooth. When I say a lot of

the criticism, it's not like this overshadowed the draft at all.
It's like, if just injuries can complain about one thing,
it's that small businesses may have over prepared for this
and didn't really see the big jump that they were
going to because everything is so centralized when the NFL
takes over your city. Here was Mayor Corey O'Connor just
talking about, you know, people loved it here and they're

gonna come back.

And I think that's the real win for this week
was how many people are have left went home to
wherever they're from to talk about Pittsburgh that's why we're
so aggressive in making those calls, and we're so excited
to talk about Pittsburgh to people that haven't been here
that will invest in Pittsburgh in the future because now
our residency a benefit.

Okay, but I was there really anybody that came to
town just like that's it. I'll move my whole company
to Pittsburgh. Why because they threw the NFL Draft good,
I don't know. I mean maybe, but like it's not
like going to happen next week. It seems like a reach. Yeah,
it seems like something that we might not see the
benefit for, like you know, years, five to ten years
down here, you know, right, just like all it's going

to take is a couple of companies.

To be like, eh, Pittsburgh, all right.

You know, people may have seen the magic of Pittsburgh
on TV and thought, oh, I could do a weekend
trip there now, you know, like that's what we're hoping for, right,
But even then, you're not going to get like one
hundred thousand people that choose to come visit Pittsburgh because
we had the draft one time, Right, you hope a
couple of people come.

Back and I'll tell the NFL this. I'll tell anybody this.

You did not get an event where you're going to
see a city that had so much pride that we did.
Oh yeah, and I think the Pittsburgh has really showed
that true black and gold.

Yeah, but what about you know, the small businesses that
may have over prepared for the draft and you know,
really didn't realize how centralized things are. The NFL basically
made a draft city that was built inside of Pittsburgh.

I think it's hard to predict where people were going
to go. And if it's such a centered on football
that people went directly to the sites.

Yeah, that's that was the problem I think. But you know, well,

hopefully we did learn again. I'll see it again that
the window is a giant TV screen and we need

great job on social media just posting things that make

Something like that. It is time to find out what
is happening in and around our city.

Paun Oliver Margaret Street Callers set a couple of jag
offs are fighting in the street. Oh no, and reportedly
they're doll dogs. Then began to fight each other too.
We got a Mount Oliver tag match.

Dogs like uh, humans that are friends are dogs like dog?

I think I don't think it's like the dog they're
dogs like their buddies jumped in. I think there's actual
dogs that are just like, hey, they're scrapping, let's go,
let's do this. What are you looking at? And then
all of a sudden we got a moment oliver tag
match going on between two people and their dogs. The
dogs are just staring at each other, just like what
what the hell you looking at?

It's like a goalie fighting hockey when everybody else are out.

It's just like the two dogs were like, you guys
will do this, right, you want to do this, Let's
do this. Also happening in and around our city through
the eyes of the Pittsburgh Police scanner downtown Liberty f
callers said that two dudes are taking on about a
dozen ten year olds in combat. What whoa We haven't

heard one like this on the scanner before.

Two grown men?

Is this one of those Internet questions that just came
true in real life? She's like, how much seems like
my ten year olds?

Could you fight? And then they're like, yeah, probably by
a dozen. They're like, okay, prove it.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
You know it is a pretty even match, Like me
and you versus a dozen ten year olds. Who do
you think would win? No weapons or anything like that,
just straight up fighting. I would hope boss I would
hold twelve ten year olds. No man, t ten year
olds are aggressive, dude, I mean these ones signed up
to fight the ten year olds? Is like a biting
age where they're I don't know if we get a dude,

I don't know if we could take on a dozen
ten year olds, but a couple of guys U downtown
on Liberty I've tried, and a bike cop said, don't worry,
they were just play fighting. That's what's happening in and
around our city.

Yeah, that's good news, and it wasn't really two grown
men taking on a dozen ten year olds. All right,

which I only really paid attention to because I saw
that the name of a horse that's the betting favorite
is Renegade. No timee the Pittsburgh that I could sign.
That's still pretty cool. How many INSS are you are
about to bet on Renegade?

Here's a damn renegade horse. There's Renegade and it's a favorite. Dude,
the way to Kentucky Derby. Not a big fan of
the horse racing at all. Don't like betting on it,
don't like watching it. Don't know how it's still a thing. However,
on Renegade seems like a pretty safe bet.

I was last year, last summertime. I went out to
my backyard to start cutting grass, went around the back
of my shed, heard kind of some rustling. I thought
maybe it was a counter raccoon. And I stood there
to witness a fully naked man in my backyard going
to the bathroom, and there was a there was a
half half naked woman standing there with him.

Oh wow, wow.

On number two with a lady with a lady friend
that was half also half unclothed. I don't know if
I could say the naked word on radio or not,
so I didn't, but anyway, so yeah, so They're both
standing there and they kind of look at me like
I'm bothering them, and I'm like, hey, you're on my proper,
do you know? So I returned back about five seconds
later with a pitchfork, and they didn't take that very
lute name. They kind of just scurried off. But a

caveat to that story is a couple of weeks later,
he was arrested for a peeping palm that I guess
they were looking for for for several several months in
our town. So it kind of worked out that I
was able to identify him and say, hey, I don't
know what he was doing in people's windows, but I
saw him doing this in my order, and I kind
of like this.

He was a pooping tom in your yard. Huh. He
was definitely a pooping calm.

There's no doubt about it.

So when you had to identify him, did you go
down to the police stage, You're like, yeah, he's got
a big mull on him.

Yeah.

I mean, I said, you know, I can't really I
can't identify him. That I asked to Sleep you can
crouch down, And I said, hey, if you can crouch down,
if I can identify you a little bit better.

our stride a bit, so we should feel good about that.
I think with any series, though, you've got to get
better with every game, and there's still things that we
can do better and we'll try to build on that.
But you know, we're playing we're playing good hockey, and
you know we got to go in there and and
find a way to win again.

Man, the crazy game winning goal Chris Latang, It's just
like the Flyers goalie. Why where the puck was bounce, yeah, bounce.
It just goes in here with sid just on the uh,
the Chrys Latang goal, and this was before he even
like saw it.

I just saw it playing, I want to say, around
the goal liner just over it, so I didn't really
know how it got there.

get that one late in the period was huge. But yeah,

And try to go to the front of the net
and just one of those ones that found its way.

the team's pretty resilient right now. They were down three
games to none. They could have folded. They could have
got swept in Philly and just been on you know,
CanCon time just going on vacation then, but not well, boys,
turn the series around and going to game six, they've

just out on the team has been fighting back.

Yeah, I think that's something that we've prided ourselves on
all year. Throughout the season, we've been in different situations
and I think that we've done a great job of
handling diversity. And again here we're faced with with more.
It doesn't get any easier. So we know it's a
big challenge going into there. But I think we have
a lot of belief in our group and we've done
it time and time again, so we've got to go

times when we're going through bad stuff, we come in
here and we just do our job. We do the show,

in Pittsburgh, we always get scared when things like that

Right now. They were down three games to none.

They could have folded, They could have got swept in
Philly and just been on you know, CanCon time just
going on vacation then, But no, boys turn the series
around and going to game six. They've made a series
now going to game six here, Sid just out on
the team has been fighting back. Yeah.

I think that's something that we've prided ourselves on all year.
Throughout the season, we've been in different situations and I
think that we've done a great job of handling diversity.
And again here we're faced with with more. It doesn't
get any easier. So we know it's a big challenge
going into there, but I think we we have a
lot of belief in our group and we've done it
time and time again. So we've got to go do it.
