to this talkback message send through the free iHeartRadio apron

idle pop up such as happy Anniversary, rather than something
about like butzer.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Nudity, buttzer nudity.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
You think you're getting butts nudity from Yeah, you are
every show almost on the hour, I would say almost
once an hour butts in nudity. I think they talked
about on the show. Yeah, our podcast title was just
happy Anniversary yesterday. It's kind of a generic podcast title,
but you know what, there were two anniversaries being celebrated,
one the love of Bob and Becca, the other one
me pooping my pants.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
It was a special day. But now it is it's

(12:26):
Pat McAfee sent Bob a DM and was asking if
he was at the Riley Green show. Uh, you know,
big country artist. He's gonna be a coach on the
voice because Pat McAfee and West Virginia football head coach
Rich Rodriguez we're up on stage with Riley Green bartending, right. Yeah,
(12:47):
So Pat sent Bob a message at the show and said, Hey,
are you at Riley Green and Bobby here? Yeah? Bob
said no, right. Then we talked about it on the show,
posted the clip online because I don't know, so Pat
commented on the the video on our on our show, Bob, yeah, yeah,
he just wrote, thought for sure, I saw you. We
needed you up there with us. Oh my god, dude,
(13:09):

on stage with rich Rod and Pat.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
And a green show name me one Riley Green. So
just everybody's singing along and you're like, hey, dude, your
daughter has gone to West Virginia for one year so far,
two semesters. Yeah, and you're already on the Hey, thought
(13:41):
I saw you. We needed you up there bartending for
Riley Green. I'm telling you, man, with rich Rod and Pat,
if you get a key to Morgantown before we get
a key to Pittsburgh, Man, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Corey O'Connor's gonna have him explaining to you.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
All right, let's get to today and free show story
taking you back to a moment in the show that
made us laugh, made us smile. We're getting real close
to fourth of July. You know what that means. He
comes out every Fourth of July. He doesn't have all
his digits. It's time to hear about Uncle Thumb's. Here
(14:17):
we go every year they do it the news, whether
it's local or national, They are gonna show you what
happens when you don't know how to properly light off fireworks.
Speaker 9 (14:39):
It is certainly that time of year. A. B.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
You better leave all this to.
Speaker 9 (14:42):
The professionals, emergency crews reminding all of us today the
backyard fireworks may not be the best idea.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
And as they say.
Speaker 9 (14:50):
It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Oh this is great.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
It's all fun and games until your uncle loses three fingers.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
And that's what it is. Every year the news has
to remind you not to little finger off.
Speaker 9 (15:00):
The police bum squad shows us this demonstration every year.
Every year, someone out there doesn't listen.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Oh no, uncle Thumb's Uncle thumbs.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
You can't really tell when he's waving at you, Uncle thumbs.
He's had a couple of bad Fourth or July YouTube
ear now he's bringing showing people how to make it.
We're trying to Oh wait, hold on blaming YouTube. Blame YouTube,
not to.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Do that because people that are making them on YouTube
are doing them incorrectly.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Oh no, his uncle thumb's making illegal fireworks on YouTube.
On YouTube, Uncle thumbs used to just use YouTube for
watching twerk videos and dudes getting hit in nuts with whifflebats.
But now Uncle Thumb's is learning how to make illegal fireworks.
Speaker 9 (15:53):
And when you don't know what you're doing, you can
blow off your hands.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Oh no, uncle hand is down, I'll hand.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Especially if someone's holding a firework or something explosive when
it goes off. In addition to thermal injuries, the blast
over pressure from the explosive will just tear the tissue
a part.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Oh no, that's how we make Uncle foun.
Speaker 9 (16:12):
Out Door cookouts also hurt hundreds of people every year,
especially when the griller, Oh no, fuel to the fire.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Oh no, Now what they do.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
For the example, I've never seen in my life a
regular barbecue grill, and they just have like a big
can of gasoline.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
The guys like, no human does that.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Sometimes, Yeah, you get a little crazy with the lighter
flu lighter fluid though not gasoline.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Nobody goes, hey, you know what, Yeah, go in the
garage that red plastic can of gas. Yeah, get that,
let's pour it on the grill. Let's show these burgers
whose boss is for the jaw? Ever, try to use
an accelerant on an open flame? Either, no gasoline? What
about a flamethrow? If I own a flamethrower, can I
just throw the burgers in the air and hit him
(16:55):
with the flame? Okay, all right, but if you use it,
you should wait a minute. Oh, Uncle flames as it
has a flame in two thousand and three. Yeah, don't laughing,
Uncle Flames. He hasn't had eyebrows since two thousand and four. Yeah,
real bad. Fourth of July. Let's get right to a
(17:21):

at the William Penn?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
What do you mean that it went flying? This makes
me Yeah, I know, I know.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
I was very worried about the guinea pig's okay. I
was like, do we need to find the guinea pig
a new home?
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Is what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
Yeah, because my friends had taken pictures with the guinea
pig and then this guy apparently got out of hand.
They kicked him out.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah. Let me first of all, let me just tell you.
You bring a guinea pig into the bar, shut it down.
That is the coolest thing in the ball. People will
line up hammered people with it. Like if you're just
having Like if you're at a restaurant and somebody brings
out a guinea pig, nobody likes that. No, no, you go.

Though you bring a guinea pig, Iron City comes out.
Everybody's loving it.

Then and then I saw that they put out a
sign and it said, after Saturday's event, oh no, guinea
pigs are no longer welcome out the William Penn Oh.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
No, guinea pigs have been banned from the William pent
Tammer non it forever. That's one of those things where
it's just like, huh, I didn't think we needed to
post a sign, but after Saturday's aid, we do. We

One Team Media podcast Network with Cassidy Would and the

Let's get down to Florida. Always weird things happening down
in the state of Florida. It is. Yeah, it's time
for another Florida story. A listeners of a freak show. Yeah,
(21:51):
it's time to trouble to the suntime state. Yes, it
happened again. It's another Floria the story. Let's go down
to Florida. Employees at the Bravard County Jail got a surprise.
Well processing a woman, right, I can already tell you
what's gonna happen here.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
It probably takes a lot to surprise people that work
in a Florida jail, though.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
Yeah, well, you know it's they're processing her. It always
already become she already came in on charges. I've already bested. Yeah,
all right, okay, yeah, it's keep an open mind. What
could it be? Now we know what this is. They're
processing her. She's trying to hide something and you can't.
You're going into jail and you're trying to hide something.
Not many places you can hide too.
Speaker 10 (22:33):
Japanese arrested Reagan Cox over the weekend for resisting an
officer without violence during a traffic stop when she walked
through the scanner the Sheriff's offices and baboo. Abnormality was
picked up in what they described as a lower region.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Okay, I mean I set off those airport scanners too.
Maybe it's nothing.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yeah, but just because you have hot crotch, Just because
you have hot crotch, this is different. I've set off
a scanner too. This could be nothing. No, this is
I think this is a little different than my crotches overheating. Hey,
there's an abnormality in the lower region. That's not what
she got. I'm a little hot down there to the
deputy say.
Speaker 10 (23:11):
They took her to a changing area where they say
she was trying to cover an area with her hand,
and Sheriff's office says when she moved it, a bag
of cocaine fell to the floor.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Oh my.
Speaker 10 (23:22):
She told deputies she didn't know anything about the drugs
and someone must have.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Put it there during some sort of intimate encounter. I know.
I can't make this stuff up. Hold on there, Hold
on on second. Okay, it would have been Florida if
just a bag of cocaine fell out of an intimate area.
But the excuse was no, I don't know where that
came from. Somebody must have put it there when we
(23:48):
were having an intimate and walked into jail, loaded up
like a party piniana, and then told the cops somebody
else did it. Somebody must have stuffed for me. I
have no idea who's cocaine that is. It is hard
making the show once again. Got a chance? You did
(24:12):
win twenty five hundred dollars coming up around eight ten

I be? Though the best? When is this gonna stop?
Is this ever gonna stop? Is this gonna carry us
for the rest of our our days? Is it always
gonna be your birthday? Every day? Every day? Dude?
Speaker 2 (34:38):
A calendar, if we did a calendar, okay, I mean
we've thought about this before.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
It just never has happened. It is so funny to
think of the calendar that has Pittsburgh specific dates on it,
like I need to know when Kenny Wood's open. Put
it on my calendar, you know. But to have every
day just say happy birthday, Bob every day?
Speaker 2 (34:59):
I mean, not just stuff that's happened on our show,
like Pittsburgh stuff too, like the sinkhole bus day.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Oh wow, yes, we should great stuff. We should be anniversaries.
We should be remembering, Yes, Fern Hollow Bridge collapse, like
things like that where we stop for a moment, think
about it and be like, oh man, that bridge day.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Pictures of us playfully posed every month, you know. Yeah,
tasteful party has some body hair. Yeah, it seems tasteful.
This seems tasteful, like a tasteful thing. This isn't gonna
be an erotic calendar or anything like that. And what
you'd classify as erotic smoked meats to some people, Yes,

some people will pay for that.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
Here's here's your chance at twenty five hundred dollars. Good luck,

going on in the country and a lot of people
are not proud of your Seeing the American flag might
make you feel some sort of way. Absolutely, I feel like, man,
it is very hard to unite the country at a
time like this. Maybe our soccer team can do it
with a win against Bosnia and Hurts a good at tonight.
It don't feel good. That is something we can all
(37:03):
get behind our our World Cup soccer guys.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
But let's get to Brandon here with his video.
Speaker 11 (37:10):
Here, ladies and gentlemen, this is your friendly low American
reminder for the fourth of July coming up, one of
best holidays we freaking got around here. It's a friendly
reminder that you can still love your country while simultaneously
hating your government.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
You don't have to like what's going on.
Speaker 11 (37:29):
You don't have to like the gas prices, but you
do have to like hot dogs and cold.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Icy light and a freaking fool. You don't have to
like it.
Speaker 11 (37:36):
To the freaking countries at war. You do have to
like it when you see a bald eagle flying. I mean, look,
it's a freaking freaking majestic. It's not a vulterer, it's
not a paracube.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
It's a bald eagle.
Speaker 11 (37:47):
You don't have to like every single thing that's going on,
but be grateful that you don't have to eat freaking
beans on toast and rice and bananas for every freaking mission. Sure,
go out there, have yourself a wonderful haul holiday weekend
this week. Okay, hang out with the French, hang out
with the family, Go swim into freaking morn, go do
whatever you got do. You don't have to like everything
(38:09):
that's going on, but be grateful that it's not any
freaking worse.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Let's have a weekend. Man. Listen, that's USA, USA, USA, USA, man.
That is the inser USA message we all needed to
hear for Fourth of July. You ain't gonna like anything
that's going on. You might be mad. Stuff like this,
gas prices, camp high house, all this stuff going on, Beers,
(38:35):
hot dogs, eagles, thirty pack icya light and jumping the mob,
dipping in the mom might come out with a weird
rash on July fifth, but at least you were celebrating
on July fourth. It's gonna itch all right. Your chance
at Benson Boone tickets coming up around nine to thirty.
It is Mikey mom. Another chance for me to win
(38:56):
Benson Boone tickets coming up around nine thirty this morning.
Let's get to this.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
This is Missy from Naka.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
I'm Missy.
Speaker 5 (39:02):
Just want to let you know that I'm willing to
give up watching Kenzie scrub the floor with her crutch
for Benson Moone tickets because he is beautiful.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
It's not have a great day.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
It's not really, it's not what we're looking for for
Benson burn tickets. Uh yeah, I love Island USA. Contestant
Kenzie likes to do the splits and uh.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Over and over and over again, slamming on the ground.
It's Mikey Boby Kiss Morning Freak Show. Just incredible, insane
yins are breaking news this morning. Giant Eagle got sold
the Kroger for one point sixty five billion dollars. Kroger,
I gotta be awesome. Stunned. I think we're all a
little stunned. Like everybody that we've text this morning, it's
(39:45):
just we send the link, Johnny, that's old. Everybody's like
what usually cuss words follow, like get the bleep out right?
No bleep in way? What's happening though? Like I get
so confused with these big, multi billion dollar companies that
(40:08):
merge or get sold, Like does it mean now Kroger
is a big grocery store chain, Like there's some in
Ohio and in Michigan, and uh, you know, I don't
they're they're around right Midwest. It's a Midwest grocery chain.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
This is from CBS News, all right, Yeah, the whole
right up and like everything and all the quotes from
all the important people that matter. Sure, Kroger said they're
financing the transaction with cash, and it's expected to close
by twenty twenty seven. At this moment, it's unknown if
Giine Eagle stores will remain Giant Eagle or be transitioned
(40:44):
to all the Kroger. Dude, one point six five billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
I mean they're going to change the name, aren't they.
You don't buy something for one point sixty five billion
just go keep a Giant Eagle.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
And I mean Kroger is all throughout I believe the
Midway right, like that's a huge Midwest.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
Yeah, but Giant Eagles, I mean it's Pittsburgh. I'm aware.
I mean, I'm stunned.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
That's why. That's why stun too. The reaction to its
Holy bro.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
It's like it's like Cedar Point buying Kenny Wood and
being like, I'm just gonna make it a mini y
Iner Cedar Point, Like, I feel like we're at that
level of what that We're gonna what what? What? How?
I don't even know what to say. Yeah, I mean
a yinger staple that could possibly be wiped away. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
It says that you closed by twenty twenty seven or
close in twenty twenty seven and unknown if the Giant Eagle.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
Name will will remain a lot of weird stuff going on. Man.
You know Circle K bought Get Go. We obviously been
working with Get Go for like a decade. It's like,
are they keeping them get gos? They switching to Circle K's, Like,
what's going on here? What's going on here? I'm stunned.
Giant Eagle got sold for one point six y five
to Kroger. Dude, you know what Kroger is too. Kroger
(42:04):
is one of those words that when I say it
too many times in a row, it sounds weird. Roger, Kruger, Kroger, Kruger, Kruger, Roger, Dad,
I can say it without he move my lips. Kruger, Krager, Kreuger, Kruger,
Krager Krager. Oh man, I don't know what's happening.
Speaker 2 (42:22):
We might be losing an inser institution here, everybody. We
might be losing giant Eagle. What what is happening? Oh not,
I feel about I'm stunning. Stunn Is always say right.
Speaker 1 (42:35):
That's unbelievable. That's a lot of money. I'm sure the
Facebook comments sections on the local news stations will be
okay with that. Oh yeah, they're probably great too. All right,
your chance at Benson Boone tickets coming up around nine thirty.
It's my Kim Bob. I feel like the mood, the
direction of the show has changed because there is big
(42:57):
yins are breaking news this morning. The Giant Eagle is
being sold to Kroger for one point six five billion dollars.
We might lose giant Eagle here. I'm not ready to
send Giant Eagle a crossroads.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
So okay, I mean it could be they haven't announced
it yet obviously what they're planning to do, because the
deal was just announced this morning, but he says it's
unknown if they'll I mean, they didn't come out and
specifically say, hey, we're keeping We're just we're just acquiring
Giant Eagle. We're keeping Giant Eagle. Giant Eagle. That wasn't
in the press release.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Kruger didn't come out and say Giant Eagle is a
staple in Pittsburgh. We're buying it, but we ain't changing it.
You know, dude, There's there's this happening. There's Wegmans that's
supposed to be going in. Weans is coming right myyer Myer.
They acquired their land out by Cranberry. Dude, are we
the center for the grocery store wars? I feel like
(43:49):
that's too many grocery brands in one area. There's a lot.
I feel like most areas got like two or three.
Like how shopping, say, you're gonna survive out here in
this environment? You know, shop and saving I gosh uons,
Oh my gosh, what are we gonna do with the kNs.
That's crazy though. Yeah, yeah, I mean I don't feel
(44:12):
like I want them to get rid of the Giant
Eagle name. But that does not sound just like it's
gonna be going in that direction, I imagine.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
I mean, I don't there has to be like a
Kroger is a huge grocery store. They gotta have their
own products and like they do. Yeah, just like right,
so I imagine like there. I don't know, it's just weird.
It's weird how everything it all feels weird, does feel weird.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
It all feels weird, does feel weird. I'm not geez hey, uh,
I know this like just broke this morning, this news.
Do you think you can go through some local news
Facebook comments section and we uh we may be end
the show today with some Giant Eagles sold to Kroger
Facebook comments. I know it just happened, but I feel
(44:55):
like before the end of the show, we need Yinser's
instant reaction to Gianty being sold to Kroger for one
point sixty five billion dollars.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
H yeah, I just logged in and the first one
I see here is a.
Speaker 1 (45:07):
Guy named Mark.
Speaker 3 (45:09):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (45:09):
Mark Mark says, I talked to you, gentlemen about a
year ago in Cranberry, Giant Eagle, when I was making
a delivery, okay, and.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
He told me this wasn't the words. This guy knew.
This guy had the inside inser information at Kroger's coming
to town a bunch of a year ago.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
He told He told him, he told him it was
in the works that the delivery docsygers.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
Hey, over here, I got some hot news for you.
Wearing a trench coat, crosser. If there's something underneath or not, Hey,
come over here. Krogers. Is it Kroger? Is it Kroger's Kroger? Well,
it's it's gonna be Kroger. It's Kroger. But we're gonna
put the s on it. Dude, all right, listen, they
already got that Bill Kroger's crying. Hold on, stop real quick. Now,
(45:58):
maybe we need to rethink this. We can easily put
an ass on the end of it, like we do
with Giant Eagles, Sally Wiggins, all these it it does,
it does on Kroger's. Hey, by the way, I got
a d M from another Yanser institution, Sarah's Candies. Really yeah,
(46:23):
you know, we were talking about ice cream flavors last week
on the show and I said I really want a
strawberry pretzel salad ice cream flavor. Oh yeah, yeah. They
sent me a message. Hey, Mikey, we heard that strawberry
pretzel salad made your list of top five ice cream
flavors that you want. Since you're a fan, we want
to let you know we're featuring a limited time strawberry
pretzel salad Sunday all July. We love to invite you
(46:45):
to stop buy and give it a try. Let us
know if you're interested. That is the message I got
from Sarah's Candies. Okay, did you get well? Is that
like a would you get the Golden Ticket? Is that
like a Willy Wonka? Well invite? I did not see
the message for a couple days. I wrote them back
last evening from my garage, and I wrote, I'm just
(47:12):
seeing this this morning. I failed every single one of
you by not responding to this sooner. Thank you so
much for the offer, But most ice cream makes me poop,
and IENs are kind of far away from my house.
Swiftly slash Frankie Park. I never in my life, and
(47:35):
although however many years I've lived there, called Franklin Park,
Frankie Park, do we need to take your phone away
in the garage, Bud.
Speaker 13 (47:42):
I would really be rolling the dice, and that in
parentheses I put brown dice.
Speaker 2 (47:46):
Perhaps I said this d under the Sarah's Candy account.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
When they invited me over for ice cream, we had
a golden ticket to the chocolate factory, and you may
have blew it. I said, one day, though, I shall
send a message and it'll say, hey, it's me your
tall pal, Mikey. I would like to see the ice
cream please. Oh my god. There a response.
Speaker 2 (48:13):
I said, I cannot wait for that day. Thank you
for caring enough to message me. That was my response.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
Was there anything better to a DM from Sarah's Candy?
No radio silence so far? Tell you just listen say
Sarah's Candy. Me and Bob are gonna come over and
chocolate factory Sunday, real soon. I gotta tell you a
long way to Frankie Park. I'm not sure if I'm
I can roll in brown dice. I can't believe giann
(48:41):
Eagle got sold the Kroger. What the hell is happening
around here? Stunning the injured news Today Giant Eagle is
sold to Kroger chain of grocery stores in the Midwest
for one point sixty five billion dollars. No report yet
on whether or not they keep the name or anything
(49:03):
like this, But Marty Griffin from katie K he he
posted the name will remain, Giant Eagle employees will not
be affected. The massive size of Kroger's buying power will
allow Giant Eagle lower prices. Has he got inside sources?
Speaker 2 (49:23):
Maybe I don't know, but that's the only place I'm
seeing that they're keeping the name. The other local websites
are saying they haven't announced yet if they're gonna remain
Giant Egeles or go to Kroger's. Yeah, I don't know
if I'm I just read p XI they said nothing's
been announced yet, so I don't know. If I don't know,
if I'm taking the news from the guy who's best
known for taking videos of people pooping on the street
(49:45):
downtown as my source for the Giant Eagle billion dollar deal.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
None of the news outlets have it. But guy who
watches unhoused people poop on the street, he knows the one,
the one who knows. Okay, Bud.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
Maybe either way, it's stunning news for for insers today,
like that giin Eagle got sold the Kroger one point
six five billion dollars. Bob off the Air is giggling
to himself because he is currently he's in the mud
right now.
Speaker 1 (50:19):
He's in the weeds, he's in the swamp.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
He is in local news Facebook comments about Giant Eagle
being sold to Kroger.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
We are going to read those around nine towards the
end of the show. Okay, right now, though, it's time
