Also, Birthday, well it's not Bob Birthday, thank you, New
Year's Day. Birthday celebration at the Brazilian Steakhouse.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
This might be the biggest Steelers list we've ever put together,
at least for you, Bob. I got the roster open. Okay,
it's got to be current. We're not doing all time
right all time? That that's no, no, not all time Okay.
Current Steeler roster. Five Steelers that Bob wants to eat
at a Brazilian steakhouse with.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Boom, I mean all time. We can knock it out
right now.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
There's a number one that's sitting alone and it's Casey
Hampton and is prime.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Okay, that's all time, I mean prime. Casey Hampton probably puts.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
The untouchable untouchable all right, current roster Steelers who Bob
wants to eat meat with at a Brazilian steakhouse. You
got the roster open. One of the biggest lists we've
ever done. For last day of camp. Here, I'm shorting
it by wait, by the way, I'm sorting the roster
by way, who's.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
The biggest boy, who's the biggest boy, a y a Black.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, how much. See if he makes the list come
on six five, three thirty. That's a big boy right there.
I mean you gotta have him, right.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, we'll see you around seventy. Hey, we'll see.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Also, since it's the last day of Steelers training camp, Bop,
we are gonna have to come up with our Rico
Bussy player of Steelers training camp, who went above and beyond?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Who stole the show?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Who shine at Steelers training Camp? Who was the one
that is just like, hey, this guy might be something.

Bruno tickets all this week here on the station. We
will have your chances coming up around seven thirty nine thirty.

(02:52):
Good mornings, Mike, you, Bob, Hiy Kiss. Did you see
the news from overnight that Hayden Pantieri died?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeahful right, w thirty six years old. It's Mikey and
Bob on ninety six to one.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
I feel like I remember her from the show on
NBC Heroes. Yeah, that's a tough one to explain heroes.
It was just like regular people with superpowers. Like she
was a cheerleader in the show. That wasn't like Marvel. No,
it was just made up. No, it wasn't Marvel, wasn't DC.
It was just like NBC's like, we're gonna do a
superhero show. And it cooked for like the first year

(03:35):
or two and then it just it fell off. But
she was like one of the main stars in that show.
She was also on that show Nashville. Hayden Panetiery dead
at the age of thirty six. She was recently talked
about how you know, she went through a bad childbirth
and postpartum depression, it struggles with addiction, and she was

(03:58):
with she was her fiance was at one point Vladimir Klitschko,
who was giant humans looking like a heavyweight champion boxer.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yeah, yeah, big scary dude, and.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
He he had full custody of their daughter, Like she
gave up their daughter just to him because she was
in such a bad place. So, I mean, obviously, when
things like that happen, you just hope they get the
help that they need. And yeah, again we don't know
the exact details around her death, but just some sad
news to wake up this morning. You know, thirty six

(04:35):
years old, Hayden Pantieri dead at the age of thirty six. Yeah,
just some sad news to wake up to this morning.
There's no easy way to transition out of that into
stick around because Bob is going to list his top
five Steelers. He wants to go to a Brazilian steakhouse
with coming up around seven ten. It's not easy to
make that transition, but I just did.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
It, young Bumn Cas anybody answer you?

Speaker 5 (05:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
No, no answer?

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh, all right, Well, still mystery why it smells like
sausage year and only Bob can smell it?

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Crean the Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcast.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Steelers made a big move over the weekend signed up
Keanu Benton long term deal five years, seventy three point
seventy five million ooh. He was the second round pick
in twenty twenty three, final year of his rookie contract.
His new deal goes through the twenty thirty season. That's
pretty much it. They've signed everybody they wanted to sign

(05:37):
except Joey Porter Junior.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Yeah, he's the last one, right and he's gonna cost
a lot of money because other cornerbacks and stuff have
been getting big deals.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Joey Porter Junior is going to break the damn bank
when he gets his deal. It's Mikey and Bob here
on ninety six to one, Kiss Bob. Last week on
the show, we mentioned just be because you know, the
news was out there that Kennywood was gonna shut down.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
The Thunderbolt today for maintenance.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Right, yeah, And last week on the show we were like, wait,
if it needs to be shut down for maintenance, and
why is it still running this weekend?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
And it's kind of weird that they were gonna leave
it open for it make their last ride and while
telling everybody's.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Like that it needs some help.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Uh, it is regular maintenance that it goes through, though
Kennywood GM said it allows our team of carpenters and
ride techs to get through there and update the track
and make updates to the structures that we do every
year for Wooden roller coasters, So it's part of routine maintenance.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
But I felt like the way they made it sound
was just.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Like, ah, something's wrong, we got to shut it down
for the summer.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
When you hear something needs to be shut down. It's
kind of a red flag.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah yeah, but I guess just Wooden roller coasters in
the uh, the punishment they take from running all summer.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I guess so.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Did somebody over in the office hear us reading the
Facebook comments and we're just like, what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
In mind?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
This is bad? Listen, this went wrong. We can never
take credit for anything like that. But Kenny Wood has
come out and said, never mind, we'll keep it open
through September twelfth. So I don't know, but like, does
it need fixed then or probably probably? You know, they
said they got to replace lumber and bolts and ledgers

(07:27):
and some other sections of the ride, but they just
want to make sure everything is safe. So if you
thought it was the last weekend for the Thunderbolt and no,
now they said we'll keep it open through September twelfth.
For everybody, we got a couple more weeks the Thunderbolt.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
It is back. Did it at your own wrist?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Was it? Because we read the Facebook comments and people
were just like, wait a minute, I don't know, you know,
you never know. I kind of think Kenny would probably
would have been okay with it just shutting down, but
then paid ten. Yeah, yeah, probably all right. We have
your chance at Bruno Mars. Tickets coming up this morning
around seven thirty and nine thirty. Also, catch is going

(08:08):
to be playing star Lake out at next Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
She's gonna be out at Starlake Web.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Have your tickets around eight thirty and oh man, you
want to kick off the week the right way. Bob's
top five Steelers. He wants to take to a Brazilian
steakhouse around seven to ten.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
What a show today, Mike Young, Bob.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Last week on the show, we were power ranking our
top five safest Steelers jerseys to buy this season, you know,
not talking about old players, talking about like current players.
And Chris Boswell of course, made both of our lists.
What a great jersey to have a Boswell jersey. But
hold on, let's get this talkback message brought to us
by the Pavement Group.

Speaker 7 (08:52):

Speaker 2 (08:58):

putting people on the balls jersey? Dude, that's my jersey.
Oh I've been rocking balls. Yeah, I've been rocking with
my balls.

Speaker 2 (09:10):

Speaker 7 (09:11):

don't be letting people in on that secret. Okay, I'm a.

Speaker 2 (09:17):

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Bob from Okemont's got a Boswell jersey and he heard
us talking about and said, hey.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
The amount of people on our Instagram posts who perked
up and we're just like, I've had a Boswell jersey.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
That's my only one I wear.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
We awokened a Boswell jersey wearing sleeper cell last week
on the show.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
And it felt like they thought they were the only
ones with it. I did it.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I got the kicker. Everybody whipped their bass out with pride. Yeah,
all right, there was a big weekend, Bob Well, at
least for me because I was all into the Disney

Maximaaja like you sound angry to you?

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Do you sound you sound like you're yelling that like
he just missed the block and got Aaron Rodgers destroyed.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
Back to the job. I'm hot, this guy can't, Maxage,
I'm a hot. You see that guy pancake block. Oh yeah,
he's looking good, right, he's at our first round picks.
That's the guy. Baxage, I'm a hot, all right, Max
Ajot ma hot Like I was kind of close but
nowhere near. Oh yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Yeah, you're in a ball dude. You weren't even in
the same state. Baxage, I'm a hot. You got Max
in that, Max, That's about it. At it, Maxage, I'm hot,
Max hot hot all right? So now you know how
we do this on the show. We just make fun
of ourselves because we're not very good at this job.
But whatever, you guys listen anyway, and we appreciate the
hell out of that. Uh.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
We do screw up tracks on the show.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
So uh we have now added the Max honn at
Er screw up to Bob screw up track. You're not perfect,
you don't need to be perfect to either. All right,
Bruno Mars tickets, necks. But these are some of our
favorite Bob screw ups, now with the brand new one
most humorously posthumously posthumously naked your short, short, pull out

(25:01):
your sword and show those cheeks. Did you just call
it a short? We all know the drink, the pop,
the soda seaer missed right. I feel like nissr nips.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Didn't get knocked out it to keep cog, oh man,
to out boy, how late were you at to Kelly
last night?

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Didn't he get didn't he get kicked done? Didn't get
knocked out?

Speaker 6 (25:26):
It?

Speaker 2 (25:26):
To keep cock wasn't on purpose? Least I don't know.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
It was maybe subliminately subliminally, oh man, subliminately Is that
a tough one for you? Yeah, yeah, go ahead, sublimaly nope.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Suc successfully trot trot, Oh my god, Herbert's love, don.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Herbert's love Donkeys you pump fake donkey, said.

Speaker 13 (26:05):
Passage on the Hot Wow a Honae Jordan. I can
find his name all time.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Screw up for you, Bob, All right, here's your chance
at Bruno Mars tickets. Hey, thank you for listening to
our Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 2 (26:25):

Speaker 2 (26:37):

Previous shows, the latest show, something you want us to
cover on the show.

Speaker 1 (26:46):

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Oh yeah, that's fun too, right heep on random places.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Yeah, hit that little talkback microphone and you can send
us a message and maybe you'll make the show. If
you're looking for a new vehicle and you would like
to just buy the vehicles that me and Bob are driving,
that is a real thing that you can do. We
got brand new vehicles for friends over at the Sea.

(27:10):
Harparado Group the official sponsor of the Mikey and Bob Podcast.
Bob is just driving a just sick looking Dodge Ram
fifteen hundred Laramie and I am in the twenty twenty
six Jeep Gladiator Sports. It's a purple Jeep Gladiator.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
How my ducks? You know, I didn't really do much
this weekend. I ain't go out.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I realized that to acchoired ducks, I have to leave
my house and I don't like leaving my house that much.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Not on duck hunting.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
No, I'm not really duck hunting too much. But I
think I got like six or seven ducks so far,
so not too bad. Things to our friends over at
the Sea Harparado group. All right, let's get to another
talkback message here, brought to us by one Team Media
and Mike and Bob.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
I need your help solving a debate.

Speaker 10 (27:51):
So over the weekend, my family and I were arguing
how to say these two words. So one of them
is the word of like the thing in the bathroom
that you like grout like t I l E. And
the other one is like what you dry yourself off
with this t.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
O W E l Okay. I see where we're going here.
How do you say those words? Because me, I say
in the same tao. But that was partly wrong to
everybody's beginning, right, I.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Don't think I do the same with that. I understand
how they can sound the same taw tile and towel,
but I feel like I don't super insur those. I
feel like it could have tile easily towell, tile twel,

(28:40):
give me the towel, grout the towel.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, it's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I feel like I'm a tile and towel guy, though
you know, like I don't feel like I next those. Yeah,
I neither do I tile and towel. But I can
also see how he ends it up a little bit,
and you know, you start.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
A little lazy with that bag.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Sounds like just a Mike McCarthy thing we're doing here, McCarthy,
where you call me, you call it. I'm in Garfield,
my parsauce. You know, I got tiles out, but also
you know I need to do a bathtub twe by
the way, speaking of Mike McCarthy, and it's it's a

(29:29):
thing on our show now that you know when he
says you know, it sounds like he says me ow almost.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
You know we've done this with Mike McCarthy this season.

Speaker 14 (29:37):
You know, you know, just keep ponding away, you know,
you know, you know you do and la troupe. You know,
you know, you know, you know you know those four
don's Okay. Now we have really should ask him to
say tile today.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
Yeah, seriously, Mike McCarthy press conference, say these two words,
picture of a tile and a picture of a towel,
and just be like, we need to settle a debate here.
But my thank McCarthy saying you know, and it's sounding
like a cat me out. This is bled into our show, now, Bob,
this is bled into the way I talk. Now, let's

(30:10):
get to this talkback message.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
It's our friend Aunt Coca Hype boys.

Speaker 5 (30:14):
It's Aunt Cock.

Speaker 15 (30:15):
Hey, Mikey, I think you're listening too much to coach meocarthy.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Oh boy.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Uh.

Speaker 15 (30:21):
While I was listening to the podcast, I had noticed
this week that you've been saying you know a lot.
So I counted while I was listening to the podcast,
and I'm sure I didn't count perfectly, but it's all
for good fun. You said you know twenty seven times
on Friday's podcast. But I just thought it was so

(30:43):
cute that you're picking up on the little mews all right, loves.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Happy birthday, Bob birthdays?

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Are you McCarthy. I think we've gone too deep with them, McCarthy.
Mews where all of a sudden, when I say you know,
I keep saying, you know, yeah, we've done this so much.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I they got me outing. Now, man, we might have
got tyle tale unbelievable Steelers coverage on our show.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
It is warring off onto you. Hey listen, coming up
next to hey, listen. Everybody clear out of the way.
Man coming up next. This is the most important thing
we've done all training camp. Coming up next round seven
fifty five, me and Bob will present this year's Rico
Bussy Player of Steelers Training Camp Award.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
It's the biggest thing we do in the preseason.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Menstig who was this year's Rico Bussy again, a guy
who could catch everything at Steelers' training camp about three
or four years ago. The Rico Bussy Steelers Player of
Camp Award is awarded.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Next. It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Big concert announcement coming up at the end of the show,
right around ten am here on ninety six to one. Kiss.
If you already went to the PPG Paints Arena Instagram account,
you know, connect the dots. This is like the Luke
Combs thing, you know last week where everybody's posting about
it and we're like, all right, we know it's Luke Colmbs,

(32:08):
all right, we know who it's gonna be at ten o'clock,
but we can't say it yet.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
You gotta wait till ten o'clock. Yeah, so we can't
say it.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Sounds weird, but it's the rules we have to live by.
What happens if we say it, I don't know. Okay,
it's not worth a meeting. Uh that is a good point,
right there, Bob, Are you ready we ruin the surprise?
Are you ready to get to Steelers camp? Because this
is this is what we this is what we pay
attention to camp for.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Right here, this is it. It's the culmination of Steelers
training camp.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
This is the the award of Steeler Training Camp, Rico Bussy.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Player of Camp Award. It's not one of the main guys.
It can never be a main guy. It's not like oh, TJ.
Watt was out there. No, it's got to be that player.
It sort of Hey, what about this guy that stole
the show? Back in twenty twenty one, there was a
wide receiver out of Hawaii. His name was Rico Bussy

(33:08):
and I don't think he dropped a pass all camp.
Not only did we think he was gonna make the team,
there were talks about him being this crazy next Antonio Brown,
and people were wondering if he had extra stick him
on his gloves because he was catching everything unstoppable. Then
he didn't even make the team, and now where is
Rico Bussy? A couple of years later, Bob, I just

(33:30):
checked in on him. He's a Louisville fire firefighter.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Well, okay, he's a firefighter now Louisville. Good for him.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
Man.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
In twenty twenty two, George Pickens won the Rico Bussy
Player of Camp award. Obviously he went on to do
great things.

Speaker 5 (33:44):
Right.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Twenty twenty three, Calvin Austin won the Rico Bussy Player
of Camp Award.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
I gotta be honest, though, if you win this award,
it's a pretty good well track record.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Right. Twenty twenty four, we had Beanie Bishop, right, he
was undrafted and he made the team, did pretty good.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
He's still in the NFL, right, he's still playing. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Last year was Darnell Washington because he was he was
blocking everything, catching everything.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Last year was Darnel Washington. But this year.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
The twenty twenty six Rico Bussy Player of Steelers Camp Award.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Who's it gonna be? Out of Iowa Cayden Region? Oh, Caden,
you did it. A wide receiver. He's returning kicks, he's
returning punts. Just a little little fast guy. Weing just
ripping it out. It was tough. This was a tough

(34:41):
pick it up.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Like Aaron Rodgers said, Roman Wilson was having the Camp
of camps.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Roman Wilson is probably top five, but he didn't.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
When Wilson was supposed to be having the camp of
his lifetime. Yeah, he didn't show it in that preseason game.
The Rico Bussy twenty twenty six Player of Camp Award,
Congratulations to Cadenwegion.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
What does this mean? Absolutely nothing?

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Why do we do this because not really anything matters
at camp other than injuries.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
That's about it.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Graduate out for Caden region this year's Rico Bussy, a
Florida man was arrested and had to do with the Buckis' bathroom.
He was not naked, by the way, but we will
get to today's weird Florida story coming up around eight
twenty five. Here it's Mikey and Bob on ninety six

(35:30):
one Kiss. We got your chance at Kesha Tickets for
next Tuesday out at Star Lake that'll be coming up
around eight thirty. Right now, though, it's time to check
in with Pittsburgh Police Scanner. You can go to their website.
Support the people that run this wonderful account pghdash scanner
dot com.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
And it's time to find out what is happening in
and around our city. We start here with Crawford Roberts
Miller Street.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
A caller said that a racoon is stuck in their
trash can, stuck like that's.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
That's like saying you.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
See a bigger person at a Brazilian steakhouse, that's they're.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
There to do work, they're there to do damage. He's
not stuck in there. He just beasting. It's where they eat.
They call him trash pandas.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Because if you tried tipping over the trash can, tip
over the trash, can't let the raccoon.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Now move on with your day. Also happening in around
our city.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Oh boy, Southside Giant Eagle callers that a couple of
people were fighting and in the process, one person was stabbed.
I mean, Southside Giant Eagle doesn't make the show very often.
It's up there, but that's not a place you go
trying to fight. It's one of those places. It's a

(36:55):
place that doesn't play. There's Alleghaty West Wendy's and he's
their training combat true. There's fake Southside Burger King. That's
the real Southside Bury King now but used to be.
They can fight there, yep, yep fighters. And also if
you're going to a Giant Eagle, I don't think you
play games at the south Side Giint Eagle.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
If you got to go Southside.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Giant Eagle, head down, you better have your list ready
and just get your items and get going because or
getting stabbed.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Also happening in around our city, all right.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Last one here East Delleghany, uh Fourland Street at James Street.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Caller thinks a man on a bike is pimping on
the corner. I got East Delleghany bike pimp.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
That's either the most genius pimp or the stupidest pimp
fighting a mountain bike around me. When you think of
a pimp, is it a bike?

Speaker 2 (37:52):
If you have a razor.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Scooter out there, nobody's gonna arrest the pimp on the
razor scooter.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
As they wouldn't believe it. Right, Hey, any.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Pittsburgh pimps out there that might be your move man,
don't have some flashy car or anything like that. The
bike show one. Also, it could have just been a
guy on a bike. Yeah, should have just been a
guy on a bike who has some lady friends, loads
up his ladies on the handlebars. Bike pimp and e

(38:25):
Stallaghany that's what's happening in and around our city. We
got some storms and showers in the forecast today. It'll
be cloudy with highs around eighty degrees. As always, if
you miss any of our live show, get caught up
with the Mikey and Bob podcast on the free iHeartRadio
app brought to us by our friends at the Sea

(38:46):
Harper Auto Group. There's always weird things happening down in
the state of Florida. Florida Stories have been a staple
of our show for a long time. Now it is
tied for another Florida Story years.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Yeah, it's time the double to the Sometime stage. It
happened to Florida.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Sorry. Thirty year old Florida man was arrested for speeding
on I ninety five and Coco. Florida deputies radared him
going one hundred and seventeen in a seventy mile an
hour zone seventy mile an hour speed limit. Don't let
you get away with eighty. You know, maybe you're not

(39:28):
even getting pulled over one seventeen. You're getting gunned every time.
Guy's car probably doesn't go much faster than one seventeen. Yeah,
that is that is pedal to the floor, see what
it be doing. So the sheriff's sheriffs down there made
a Facebook post that said that the guy told deputies

(39:50):
that he was speeding one hundred and seventeen miles an
hour in a seventy mile an hour zone.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
I mean, he did the speeding excuse, I have to
go to the bathroom. But he said he was trying
to make it to the Buckies' bathroom.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
BUCkies, of course, you know, are known sort of across
the country, these giant gas stations.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Right, mega gas stations.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yeah, yeah, So he said he was trying to get
to the bathroom at BUCkies. There, No, No, the closest
BUCkies was sixty miles away in Daytona Beach. Now, I've
never been in the BUCkies before. I know what they got,
but what kind of bathrooms they got? A BUCkies. Maybe
they got Buckie bideze, and that's why this guy wanted
to treat his butt. Right, Maybe maybe Bucky beaver squirre,

(40:37):
I'm saying, maybe there is a little beaver that comes
on the back of the toilet and just spits at
you a beaver squirt. You know, maybe that's what this
guy wanted, because he said specifically, I'm going to a
Bucki's bathroom.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
There's no BUCkies. They're like, there's sixty miles away. That's
why I'm going so fast. I gotta get there. I
gotta feel that beaver squirt round bath. Maybe just one
of the buy what.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
Kind of magical bat I know they got magical food
and treats and everything else that's in BUCkies.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Do they sell a beaver? But day bit? They maybe? Hey, listen,
like my beday, if it was a little beaverhead that
shot water, why not?

Speaker 16 (41:20):
Man?

Speaker 2 (41:21):
Why not? Ain't nobody else gonna see it but me?
The beaverday?

Speaker 1 (41:24):
So the Sheriff's office down in Florida, they said, the
bathroom at BUCkies are exceptionally clean. However, you should probably
be a little closer than sixty miles from the bathroom
destination when using it as an excuse for excessive speeding. Again,
pulled over for speeding. He just wanted to go to
the Buckies' bathroom. It is Florida making the show once again.

(41:45):
All right, here's your chance at Kasha tickets, giving away
tickets to go see Kasha next week, all this week
here on ninety six to one kiss.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
Who's this? This is Taylor, Taylor. Where you're from? Taylor? Uh, Trafford,
Taylor from Trafford. You are car number nine.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
You got cash your tickets, Bud, Let's go who next
Tuesday out at Star Lake You're going to see Kesha.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
You'll have more cash you tickets around three point thirty
later this afternoon and all.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
This week Bob.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
Earlier in the show, of course, it's the last day
for Steelers training camp open to the public, eleven am
this morning. Earlier in the show, we gave out this
year's a Rico Bussy Player of Camp Award, Fastigious.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
It went to Cadenwegian.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Right.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
The wide receivers returning punts and kicks. Watch them, just
keep your eyes on watch them, Watch watch them. That's
all we're saying is watch them.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
Are you ready to get to Ben Roethlisberger on his
footballing podcast Oh Boy, after one preseason game with some
great quarterback play. Ben Roethlisberger is here on a football
in podcast telling Steeler Nation, we got him, got who
we got him? The future quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

(43:11):
Here is Ben. If you want a guy saying the thing,
you want Ben saying the thing. If you're a quarterback. Careful, careful.

Speaker 17 (43:19):
There was a lot of really good to see from
these receivers or from these two quarterbacks. Not a lot
of negative at all that I saw from just watching it.
So I would be incredibly encouraged as a Steeler fan
to say, oh boy, I think our future is there.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Yeah, but let's be certain. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
Okay, Ben Roethlisberger says the thing, but then right after it,
he says something that cancels the thing out. You can't
do that, Ben, you got it. Just say your big Ben,
you said the thing. He didn't say who it was,
though you can't laugh about it. He didn't say who
it was, whether it's will Hard or Drew Aller as

(43:58):
the fut but he said chre Steelers quarterback.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
We got him. But he's here.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
The interesting thing about Ben is he's a will Hard guy,
you know, like he's talked about Will Howard loving to
leave before maybe maybe Drew Aller showed him something else well.

Speaker 1 (44:14):
Also, Ben talked about how the same thing happened when
he was first coming in the league in two thousand
and four. Remember Tommy Maddox gets hurt. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and then he comes in and then the rest is history. Right,
So God, here it's gonna happen again. Here's Ben on
his Football and podcast. I already know what I want
to say, but I know it'll it'll be the headlines

(44:37):
of all headlines.

Speaker 12 (44:38):
Oh, the headline of all headline. Headline of all headlines.
This episode, by the way, was posted a couple of
days ago. I haven't seen one headline about it. It
didn't make the local news, so it's really not.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
The headline of all headlines in two thousand and four.
That's that's you.

Speaker 17 (44:54):
There was a young quarterback that was expected to play.
Either he's talking about himself every once, talking about him again.
And I'm not trying to compare the quarterback the starter
now to the starter then.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
Yeah, because that's Aaron Rodgers and Tommy Maddox. Can't compare
those right. This has been on his Football and podcast. No,
I'm not saying that a little different. But there was
a young quarterback that was supposed to play. I was
three coming maybe I was probably four three. I was
like spitting time with three. You whore that you don't
need to put that guy in. But what you need
to figure out is if you have to put that

(45:26):
guy in, which one? And detail confident? And right now, again,
it's one game after this one game.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
Yeah, but don't say it. It's only one headline all headlines.

Speaker 17 (45:38):
As a fan of some of the understands the game,
I would say, I am confident and either one of those.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
Guys, we got him. We got both, Just like Ben,
not sure who it's gonna be at. One of these
guys is the next band.

Speaker 17 (45:53):
That being said, if you watch this weekend, both of
them just go out and poop their pants, you're gonna
be like.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
All right, that's the headline of all headlines. He and
pooped their pants.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
He says the thing, but then he walks it back
right after. He's like, hey, one of these two guys
is probably gonna be like the next me. Two thousand headlines.

Speaker 4 (46:12):
Big Ben says, there's a chance both both our young
quarterbacks can poop their pants.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
This weekend. To me, that is the headline of all headlines.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
Right there, Big Ben says Steelers qbs might poop their pants.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
Every king everybody's clicking on that story, right king. He
wasn't lying. They could. They could s poop their pants.
They could. I love that.

Speaker 1 (46:38):
Ben paints himself like a he was fourth on the depth.
He was a first round pick and like the top
what was he It's like a top fifteen pick.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
Yeah. Yeah, one of these guys could be your next
big bend. Or they could poop their pants. He could
both poop their pants. That could happen, the headline of
all the headline. Steelers last day of camp open to
the public today at eleven am, and then we.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Got more Steelers preseason football at acer Sure Friday night.

Speaker 2 (47:12):

(48:09):
was her fiance was that fighter Vladimir Clitchkow, right, Yeah,
like human being. Yeah, and they had a kid together.
And you know, she was on that show Heroes on NBC.
She was on that Nashville show. She's been in a
couple of the scary movies. It's one of those actresses.

(48:29):
You see a picture of.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
Her, you know who she is, right, She's been around
for a long time. Yeah. Yeah, she's young, but she's
been in Hollywood forever.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
She said she had a traumatic childbirth, she had some
postpartum depression, some struggles with addiction, and she actually gave
her fiance clitchkow the full rights to their child. Yeah,
full custody, full parental rights. So yeah, it is pretty sad.
Just thirty six years old to Hayden Panitieri has has died.

(49:02):
Kenny Wood has reversed their policy that we were talking
about yesterday, Well not really a policy, but they said
they were shutting down the Thunderbolt today, right, They said, hey,
last day to get in the Thunderbolt before the end
of summer. They just think they were gonna sneak this
out and nobody would pay attention. They just feel like
put a sign up and said sorry, close for the year. Yeah,

(49:22):
because on our show on Friday, we were reading kennywood
Facebook comments. People were like, why wait, this doesn't seem safe.
If you're closing it down for maintenance, is it safe
to ride?

Speaker 2 (49:31):
Yeah, yeah, And they came out and just like, no,
it's just regular maintenance. Oh no, no, this is normal.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
They basically said, hey, it's a wooden roller coaster. Once
it's been through a whole summer, you need to do
some maintenance on it. It just so happened they picked
the Thunderbolt. But see, I don't know what happened that
made Kenny Wood Reversely, what happened was the internet reacted.

Speaker 4 (49:52):
We read the Facebook comments and they're just like, wow,
oh maybe we messed up.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
So the Thunderbolt and that will be open through September twelfth.
So I like how it was like, now we're shutting
it down for the season Monday. Now it's like, ah,
we'll keep it open another month for everybody. You wouldn't
need the maintenance. Yeah, but ah, we'll keep it open.
Routine maintenance is what it is, they said. You know,

(50:19):
they pick a section that they haven't done maintenance on
in a while, and then they replace the lumber, replaced
the ball to.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
Up the track, Yeah, all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (50:29):
So yeah, Thunderbolt will be will be running, it'll be operational.
Today's not the last day for it. Get there, all right,
enjoy Yeah, September twelfth, now is the.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
Last day for Thunderbolt at Kennywood, all right.

Speaker 1 (50:42):
Coming up next, we have your chance to win a
full trip out to Vegas both nights of our iHeartRadio

right now. It's Mikey Bob here on ninety six to

back upon us, there's a lot of people maybe teachers
and stuff and kids who haven't listened to us over

(51:26):
the summer and are just joining back in the show.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
Welcome, We're still here. Welcome back. I don't know what
we do, I don't know how we're still here, but
we're still here. All right.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
Let's get to a couple of say something nice messages
right now.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
You ever got say something nice? Say something nice? Right
a little back to school here.

Speaker 8 (51:48):
Say something nice, Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (51:52):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
It is the world of the worst days.

Speaker 8 (51:55):
Of the school year for a ton of teachers and stuff.

Speaker 9 (51:58):
So I just want to give a.

Speaker 8 (51:59):
Shout out to everybody who's going back to work today.
What you two matters that we need to We love
you and thank you so much, especially to the crew
at Aliquippa School District. And it was a health school district, all.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
Right, Aliquippa. What everybody who's going back to tea, he's
doing your thing.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
You matter.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
You gotta teach these kids, I mean me and Bubble
teach you about like animal mating and weird and stuff
like that.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
You got all the important stuff. You gotta do the
stem saw. Yeah, because we we're not that that does.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
Say something nice, Say something nice, good boys, your local
furry Hey, I'm just calling too.

Speaker 16 (52:41):
We say something nice. Okay, say something nice.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
Okay, say something nice, say something nice.

Speaker 16 (52:52):
I wanted to say a big old thank you to
everybody down at the Mononga Hell of food Land. They
are always the best down there, and they just really
go above and beyond. It's just a local, small town store.
But I wanted to say too, you know, they give
a lot of younger kids in town their start. Yeah,

(53:15):
and it's it's really nice, you know, to be able
to work somewhere in town, get get a good vibe
of you know, how you're supposed to be working and responsibility.
Not Yeah, I just wanted to say something nice about
that a Noonga Hell of food Land, because I'm telling
you what, man, they're the best.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
Done.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
Thanks guys, love you. This is what say something nice
is all about shout out the foodland, Mononga, hell of Foodland.
Getting it done.

Speaker 12 (53:42):
Ever, say something nice, say something nice like that one.

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 1 (53:51):
Great. Here is your chance to win a full trip
to Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival, Airfair, hotel, all
taken care of him. We'll get you a foul good luck.
Now it's Mikey and Bob here ninety six to one.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
Kiss Bob.

Speaker 1 (54:07):
You've been showing me this, this RMU stuff off the air.
I feel like we should bring this up on the
show because it's pretty cool. Thing that is happening with
RMU basketball, right, just has the chance to be so fun.
There is an account on Instagram all hail b ball right.

Speaker 4 (54:26):
I don't know who's signed off on this an arm you,
but hopefully it works out because it's an awesome idea.

Speaker 2 (54:32):
Yeah. Guy's name is Colin. He runs this account.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
It's got like half a million on Instagram, he's got
a million plus on TikTok, he's got over three hundred
thousand followers on YouTube. You know, he's an influencer, and
Robert Morris is basically giving him the keys to the
to the basketball program. He did this whole hyte video
and he's just like, we're about to make Robert Morris
basketball the most viral like team in college basketball. What

(54:55):
they gave him the jersey patch, Like Robert Morris will
have this, uh you know, all hail b ball jersey
patch this year. It's kind of cool, right, Like this
is definitely a different thing than RMU is trying here.

Speaker 2 (55:09):
He did a whole video.

Speaker 4 (55:10):
He's just like, Yeah, they got this awesome like arena,
the playing and the problem is nobody comes.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Yeah, and he's like, we're going to change that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
I think the first first thing that they want to
do is like sell out the opener and then just
go from there. So it could be an interesting sort
of time for RMU basketball, and you know, put him
on sort of a national scale with this guy just
sort of doing there, let wild with it. That's a
pretty cool thing. And it's very rare for institutions like

(55:41):
that to hand the keys to somebody like that and
be like, eh, you know what what, this guy just
run the social for the year and see. So I
feel like r m U basketball is about to show
up in a lot of our feeds, especially if you're
a if you're a basketball fan. Last day for Steelers
training for fans eleven am it uh, it opens up.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
That's you know, sad.

Speaker 1 (56:06):
It's all right, everybody's been out there. But we got
the the next preseason game coming up Friday at home
against the Jets.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
We got a new King of Dingers.

Speaker 1 (56:18):
Oh the home run derby. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, King Dingling.
I don't think that's what Mike mc meriell, King of Dongers. Yeah,
king dangling over here, duel dull home run derby field
football field.

Speaker 2 (56:34):
Meel, not the person I thought was gonna win either.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
Well, they do home run Derby at La Trobe for
training camp every year, but a lot of things have
changed with Mike McCarthy merrill as head coach. Yeah, I
didn't know if they were even doing the home run
derby to start out with, but yeah they did it.
Man and the winner the King of Dingers, Mount Lebo's
own Eli hyden Wright.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
He really did it. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (56:55):
Yeah, I mean he's not the biggest guy. I'm not
gonna call him a little guy because he's a rip
monster and yeah he is, but like compared to like
some big giant d lineman or like some jacked linebacker.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
You know what, I didn't expect that guy to be
the King of Dingers. Can Dk Metcalf not hit baseball?
Because that's what it is. I feel like Dk Metcalf
with his arms just alone, he should be able to
hit a ball five hundred feet.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
Hey, well, local guy, Eli, right, I probably should stop
calling him little but just the old guy. Ah, it's
pretty cool, though, local guy. When they won the Golden Batman,
he's now the King of Dingers. Right, Oler's King o Dingers.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
He didn't win the Rico Bussy Player of Camp award
that went to another low white guy, wide receiver returner
Cayden Region.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
The yellow bat is the second most prestigious camp award,
though it is.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
Do you see it came in like a plastic tube
and everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's pretty It's pretty sweet.
So congratulations to Eli heiden Reich. You're not the Steelers
Player of training Camp. You don't get the Rico Bussy award,
but you are apparently the king of Dingers.

Speaker 2 (58:12):
Now watch out.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
After seven straight series losses, somehow, the Pirates.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
Beat the Red Sox over the weekend eight to three.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Yesterday, they take the series from Boston Detroit Tigers in
town for a three game series starting tonight.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Carmen Majinski on The Mound seven O five star.

Speaker 1 (58:33):
Because we're nationally televised tonight on the ESPN Baby Watch Out.
Don't let them get hot, they won't. Don't worry about
it there. Yeah, they're far from hot zone. It's Mikey
Bob here on ninety six to one Kiss. We do
this thing from time to time on the show. We
like to spread good vibes. We like to hear when
people got nice things going on in their lifetime. To

(58:54):
say something nice, say something nice, say something nice.

Speaker 18 (59:01):
Hikey Bobs, boy, Smoke Gottiket. I just want to do it. Ooh,
we say something nice, say something nice.

Speaker 2 (59:10):
Yeah, Smoke Gott, you say something nice. Singe.

Speaker 18 (59:18):
I want to give a shout out to my daughter
who just finished up zoo camp at the Pittsburgh Zoo
with the kids over the summer.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
Oh my gosh, can you imagine me and you at
zoo camp.

Speaker 1 (59:27):
I'm telling you, I like Smoke Gott his daughter could
have got his access to side man id the scenes
of zoo Camp. I would love to go to zoo camp.
Not I don't even know if I'd want to be
like a counselor. I just want to go to zoo
camp and learn about the animals.

Speaker 18 (59:43):
And she just got a job with working with kids
on the spectrum nice. I'm really proud of her, and
I want to shout out my girl for going back
to school with the kids as a kindergarten teacher.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
You later, boys, say something nice, say something nice.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
Yeah, we're we're in the back to school halo. Right now,
we're in the circle.

Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
We're in the target.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
We're in the splash zone for back to school. Shout
out to all the teachers, all the parents, whole new schedule. Now,
all right, let's get to a Let's.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
Get to another one.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
Here, I.

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Say something nice, say something nice. Thank you, Bob's friend Nicole.

Speaker 5 (01:00:25):
Kids come back to school this week. I have a
summer full of say something nice, say something nice that
I just haven't gotten around to. So you guys know,
I moved earlier this summer and I just wanted to
say something nice to my friend Stephanie and her husband
and daughter who came over and helped kickstart the packing.

(01:00:46):
And then to my friend Rachel, just has been here
every step of the way to help me like just
everything she's she's been amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
I mean, you got real friends. Are we going down
to friends?

Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
Listen when they help you move, Like when people ask
me to move that I do because I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
I feel like I'm fueled.

Speaker 1 (01:01:07):
No, if you help somebody move, they will, they will
remember that forever.

Speaker 14 (01:01:15):
No, that makes me.

Speaker 5 (01:01:17):
Also helped take care of my kid. And lastly, shout
out to my stepdad Dave, who on moving day like
entertain mini dot and then also came yesterday and helped
get ceiling fans installed and fixed our dryer. And I'm
leaning on them so much right now that i just
wanted to say thanks to all of them. So thank

(01:01:39):
you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
I wish I knew how to put in ceiling fans.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
I see ceiling fans all the time and I'm like,
that's a sweet ceiling fan.

Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
I want to I wish I knew how I put Yeah,
you shouldn't do that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
No, I know.

Speaker 4 (01:01:53):
Yeah, you can probably get it on and off the ceiling,
but like the wires up, they are gonna get rapping myself.

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
Man, say something nice, say something nice. We have a
big concert announcement. It is not a very well kept secret.
But if you want to hear he's coming to Pittsburgh.
It'll be a big show at the Arena. We'll get

(01:02:20):
to that at the end of the show. Around ten am,
it's Mike Yambob the most talked about music Festivalulu big
concert announcement coming up next in just a couple of
minutes here on the UH. On the show, it's Mike
and Bob on ninety six to one Kiss. I think
my favorite part of the show today, Bob. Something that
is going to last past today's show is you trying

(01:02:43):
to say the name of Steelers rookie Max honachor I'm
hot like it's I don't know what like. It seems
like you're speaking a totally different language. I've never even
heard you sound like that before. At one point, my
voice sounds like it went in reverse. This sounds right,
This sounds like I took audio and reversed it. Yes,

(01:03:05):
you're right, Baxage, I'm hot.

Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
Yes, it sounds like if.

Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
I play that backwards, it'll it'll be another player's name
or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
Basage, I'm a hot all right. You want to see
what happens when I reverse it?

Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
What if it's as nasty things Okay, I just oh boy,
I just mappen with this stupid show.

Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
We happen.

Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Oh that's Bob saying the last name of the Steelers
first round pick.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
But we reversed it too, so it didn't make sense before.
It makes way less sense now. I just mapright.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
Our Steelers coverage. But you get here, the Steers just
it's you know, it's it's sad. Last day camp, man,
it's sad when it's the last day for the fans
to go out check out Steelers training camp.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Eleven am.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
That gets underway, But it also means we're getting closer
to the real stuff, you know, the real football. Can
you smell it? Oh yeah, Steelers preseason game?

Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
Okay, can you smell it?

Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
Oh yeah, Steelers preseason on Friday at home against the
uh against the Jets.

Speaker 7 (01:04:25):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
Let's see Bucos at home tonight against the Tigers. Sure,
I mean, go go on like a ten game winning streak,
and then well we'll be like, all right, maybe you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
