Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, then Kiss Morning Freak Show.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
We might as well turn the microphones on, Bob, because
we're already doing our own Grammy show off the air here.
We might as well just let the listeners in on it.
And yeah, it's good. Good. We're going back and forth
naming people we are, we're just naming Grammy moments, and
I'm like, heay dB de Armasvoto. You know, Dad Bunny
(00:25):
went an Album of the Year that was a little
bit of a surprise. But you know, warranted, dude, what
a week he's gonna have. Huh yeah, yeah, Sunday night,
last night he wins the Album of the Year, and
then this coming Sunday he does halftime show at Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Oh Man, probably have the speech of the Night too, man,
And then.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Uh, we're just in her laughing because Record of the
Year went to Luther by Kendrick Lamar and Sizza right,
it's good. Kendrick Lamar now the most awarded Grammy Hip
Hop artist of all time, passing jay Z. But my gosh,
that show was running so smooth. Trevor Noah does not
(01:04):
miss a beat even when things are awkward. He's so
good pro But then they let share on stage without
to help her body, she might still be up there.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Did somebody with me?
Speaker 2 (01:16):
She's got to be like eighty years old, right share
I think now she's gotta be like eight years old
and she's up there doing Record of the Year. But
like she is just up there freestyling and like, I
get it if you're like a stand up comedian or
you've got a good bit, but sher is just like prompter. No,
you can tell she wasn't reading them now. At one
point she walks.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Off, yeah, and they're like no.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Is like, hey, we need to know the nominees. You
didn't do nominees.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
And then when Kendrick and sis A win, she does
not step off to the like her left side. She
is with the crew Like whenever we look back at that,
Grammy and Kendrick and Siss up there speaking everything. Cher
is just right there, like she's just part of the
whole crew. Just announced Luther van Dross and she said.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Luther van Dross, I buried the lead there. That was
the greatest.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
She opens it up record got Bad, Bunny, Sabrina Doci,
Billy Gga and Chapel Ron Rose Berno Mars, Kendrick gets
isn't she just opens it up, goes Luther Vandross.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
She needed help, man, she needed somebody else up.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
I know you, yeah, she needed you want to respect shared,
just like, oh everybody shares.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
The legend, the legend. Yeah, it's just like, no, she
needs somebody, we don't. We don't.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yeah, let's be let's nothing against older people, but we
did not need share last night.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
And I made like, what did they expect? I mean,
Sharon did not care at all. Send her up there
with a friend. Man, where's jelly rolling?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
You need him?
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Not jelly Roll? Luther Vandross Okay, you get it.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
So yeah, a lot of recapping the Grammys on the
show today. Also giving away money again this morning. Big
prize your chance of one thousand dollars. Around nine ten,
it's Mike Ymbob Kiss. Basically, most school districts are back
today after a week off of remote learning, and not
like the weather's that much better though. Temperatures are gonna
(03:15):
stay below normal through mid February. So this isn't like
something that's like, ah, well, at least everything's gonna melt
by Wednesday. No, no, that is not the case at all.
There is a record low on Saturday morning of negative eleven.
That was recorded the coldest Sense the Freeze of nineteen
ninety four back in my day. Uh yeah, it does
(03:36):
not seem like it is going to be some warm
up and snow melt. Office. Don't don't even look at
the five day Okay, now, don't look at the ten day.
I would even say too.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
But the other way, when the melt comes, yeah, do
you know how much flooding there's gonna be disaster?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Right, Yeah, everything's gonna be wet. It's Mike Ymbob the
ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show. By the way,
Punk's Tony feel Better get together. Okay, listen, it's all
on you.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Phil.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
I don't really fall for this groundhog witchcraft, but there's
one way he's gotta go, or people are gonna be
real angry. Okay, if if that groundhog tells us more winter, careful,
you know what to get top hat.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Guys.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Let's get to a talkback message here, brought to us
by One Team Media.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
It's our buddy George.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I was going on, Fella, George, you're still catching up
on Friday Mornings podcast. I want a second, what mister
fancy pants said, if Phil gets it wrong, he's done
for Okay.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, here was mister fancy pants on Friday, Mike him Bob,
mister fancy pens here asking everyone for a small thing.
I'm asking everyone to send good vibes to the town
of punk Satani come Monday.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
If the groundhog doesn't give us an early spring, it's
off to the crossroads for him.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yeah, that's it fulfilling.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
And on a side note, groundhog meat is edible, by
the way, Oh kind of taste like veal.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Whoa ah, y'all take it easy, all right? Then George
out here eating groundhogs.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I mean, listen, if Phil gets it wrong, like you said,
top hat people, you know what to do.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Not saying that was a threat.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Fill But George sounds like he's experienced in groundhogs. Those
guys with the top hat look like they can eat
some veal too. All right, are we threatening a groundhog
on groundhog days?
Speaker 1 (05:24):
All right?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
We will get to bad bonny speech him winning album
of the Year coming up around six twenty five on
the Kids Morning Freaks Outs Mikey Bob Basics like the
Mikey and Bob podcast Golden Hunterricks. It is the first
ever K pop song to win a Grammy at one
for Best Song Written for Visual Media. It got shut
(05:46):
out of the Big Awards though, but congratulations k Pop
demon Hunters get a Grammy.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
That's uh. It's a wild thing, right. That was our
pick for a Song of the Year, wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah, Yeah, that was kind of yeah. Yeah, song of
the Year. That was our pick, and uh went to Wildflower. Yeah,
we didn't know that one Hillie Eilish, which was uh,
you know, it's a great song, but I just figured
it was gonna be Golden or like Luther, that was
gonna win. And yeah, uh, Mikey and Bob it is
the ninety six one Morning Freak Show Grammys last night.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
One of my favorite running jokes was the fact that
Bad Bunny said he contractually cannot sing on the Grammys
because he's doing the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday
and Trevor Noah. Trevor Noah was just he was shooting
from the hip his last time hosting the Grammys.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
He didn't care. Yeah, he's so good.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
He kept going up to Bad Bunny to try to
get him to sing, and then Trevor Noah just starts singing,
gives him a microphone.
Speaker 6 (06:42):
Baby did my photos that kwando?
Speaker 2 (06:45):
That man, that's Trevor Noah and they're trying to get
him my best So yeah, campoo.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
The pressure's on right now. Oh I like it on me.
Then I remember that.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
I love that so much. Just Trevor Noah coaxing Bad
Bunny and Bad Bunny. After he started singing a little bit,
just saying like a couple of words, he did look worried.
He did look worried that I just break a contract
or something like that.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
And then Bad Bunny, of course, gave a just you know,
lovely speech.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
With everything that's going on in the country now and
obviously just being just a proud Puerto Rican, I cannot
wait to see what this man does on Sunday at
halftime of the Super Bowl. I cannot wait to see
what he does. It's gonna be awesome. But he probably
gave one of the best speeches of the night.
Speaker 6 (07:55):
We're not savage, We're not animals, We're not we are humans,
and we are Americans. Also, I want to say to
people I know is tough not to hate on these days,
and I was thinking, sometimes they hate get more powerful
(08:19):
with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful
than hate is love.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
We need to be different. If we fight, we have
to do it. We love. We don't hate them. We
love our people, We love our family, and that's the
way to do it. We love bad bonnies like Puerto
Rican mister Rogers up there. Man.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Just like hate versus hate is nobody wins, but you
know the only thing that can. It's so it's so cliche,
but I don't know. I think you look at it
different when you get older. That it's just like, ah, man,
there's a lot of hate out there, a lot yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Love.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
The love is the thing that you know, you're going
up against a lot of hate. Love is the thing
that can, you know, just hopefully make it all better.
So it's a big night for bad money.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
It's gonna have a big.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Week Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday. Obviously, we'll have
more from the Grammys coming up. Also, the latest with
the w p XI Verizon dispute. Because the super Bowl
and the Winter Olympics are are coming up very soon here,
a lot of Verizon customers don't have the ability to watch.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
That here in Pittsburgh, which is wild me.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Yeah, it's Bob. Yeah, we'll get to that around six
fifty five. It's Mikey and Bob, and Bob did not
expect to see Sidney Crosby get that emotional before the
game on Saturday, right, full tiers?
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Well, I think it was a single tier? Was it
one tier? Here's one tier?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Tom was more powerful though, the one I've ever cried
a single tier. We're right, it's powerful if you just
have one single tier because you're trying to hold it back,
but one sneaks through. You know, it's more difficult than
a full on, ugly cry Penguins with another window. They
beat the Rangers six to five on Saturday, six game
(10:21):
winning streak like hottest team in hockey.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Unreal.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
We will have Sidney Crosby talking about his emotions after.
You know, they honored the ten year anniversary of the
twenty sixteen Stanley Cup team before the game. Sidney Crosby
around seven to ten on the Kiss Morning Freak Show,
It's Mikey and Bob. Obviously, some kids are going back
to school today. A lot of districts are just like, ah,
what are we gonna do? There's snow everywhere, it's getting icy,
(10:45):
it's not warming up. Gotta get the kids back to school.
And also one thing that comes with this cold weather
and ice is you know the rivers are frozen, yes,
but still stay off the rivers.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Yeah, the gruel off the river seemed like it was
a thing this week and the people just you know,
just walking on the rivers.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Just what's what do you what's the benefit path couple weeks,
we've had some unreal river incidents.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yeah, we don't need to tempt fate here.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
We've had three separate river related like accidents in the
past week.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
And now we got random the interros out there wandering around. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Katie K actually did a story on the people walking
on the rivers. They talked to a couple of dudes
in their twenties and then another family.
Speaker 7 (11:30):
Officers didn't see Jermaine and Ashton who went as far
as belly sliding a great time.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
You know, some people walked a.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Having a great time, and they were even flopped out
on their bellies and did a belly side having a
great time.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
You know, I don't recommend anyone did, but you have
to be smart about it.
Speaker 7 (11:48):
And this isn't just some dudes in their twenties Okay, wait,
what do you mean you have to be smart about it?
Speaker 3 (11:54):
There's nothing smart about My Other thing, though, is like,
doesn't the news.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Have some responsibility to just not talk to the people
who are just getting Hey, you gotta be smart about it,
because you know, we know not everybody's smart enough to
not listen to the twenty year old dudes and be like, hey,
he said, if I'm smart about it though, and in
between talking to these dudes, they're showing shots of like
the park rangers and like police like yelling at me, Yeah,
(12:18):
get off the ice. There's so much other things that
they can be doing. The showing them flied across the ice. Yeah,
so you're having a good time here seeing it frozen
her This fan was out on the ice, I whiskey.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah, it is risky, but they did it anyway. Yeah,
but you did it anyway. There's nobody here, Like I
wouldn't have there to come this spot.
Speaker 7 (12:37):
Even both we spoke there said they had the same
line of thinking.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Okay, same line of thinking. So this is why they were.
They were on the ice, the icy rivers. As long
as you stay close to the shore, you're good.
Speaker 8 (12:47):
I know.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
The shallow no like just like four or five feet Okay,
just I shallow, I'm freezing moving water.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
And also like it's not like you get you fall
into the ice. Yeah, that water's moving under Yeah. If
it takes you away, guess what you're under the ice?
Yeah great, not gonna get you anybody, because you're gone.
Then you're floating down the river under the ice.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Just common sense. Hey it looks fun, right, does are
there other people out there? Yeah, there's other morons to
get off the ice? Yeah, just stay off the ice.
A little public service there, all right? Coming up next,
we'll get to Today and Freak s your history and allus.
I'll give you the update because WPXI in this Verizon dispute.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
They have going on Super.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Bowls coming up on Sunday and it's on NBC p
XI locally and also the Winter Olympics. All right, and
they're opening ceremonies Friday. What is happening here? They got
to get you to figure out. We'll get to that
next on a Kiss Morning Freak Show. Its Mike you Bob, Hey,
are you gonna need to come to my house for
the super Bowl on Sunday?
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Or what's going on here? You can be all right,
you need to come to my house for the opening ceremonies.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Maybe maybe uh contract dispute between Cox and Verizon. Cox
the parent company of NBC affiliated WPXI locally here UH Pittsburgh, Boston.
Since December fifteenth, the NBC stations have been off Verizon
in UH in a few cities, including Pittsburgh. Of course, brutal.
(14:19):
You turn on p XI and there's just like a
big graphic that you know. Sorry, yeah, sorry, sorry, no wpx.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
I for you. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Px I put out a press release on Friday about
their concern that the blackout could cause people to miss
the Olympics, of Super Bowl in the NBA All Star Game.
UH station accused the company of negotiating as saboteurs and
alleged it refused the same type of market based deal
that p XI has with other companies. So, yeah, it
(14:47):
it doesn't look great. But if your wpx I sucks
like they their most stuff of the year.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
They're gonna they're gonna lose out in so much. I
can't even imagine the amount of money they're gonna lose
out on.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah it works.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Verizon is starting to issue a uh what ten ninety
nine one time credit to cover.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
The Okay, just get out of it.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
You know what, Verizon you you keep that credit and
give me wpx I back.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
You think my guy over here wants eleven bucks. He
hasn't missed.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
He's been missing his Chicago shows on Wednesday night.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
We're so much more than that, so much more.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
And you got a call like it says you got
a call or whatever to get there. I don't want
to call. Yeah, don't you think I want to call?
And you can put on hold forty five minutes to
get ten bocks. So we have give me a back.
We have no good news. Hopefully they figure this out
by uh Sunday, because the super Bowl is the that's
sort of the first domino to fall, and then it's
gonna be opening ceremonies for the Winter Olympics. Like I know,
(15:43):
a lot of it runs on Peacock and I have
Peacock too, and yeah, but still like I'm paying for cable,
so wpx FIGHT should be there.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, it's a mess.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Right around seven o'clock, it is Groundhog Day. Let's get
to some punks of tawny phil Facebook comments for today
in Freak Show history.
Speaker 9 (16:00):
Here we go for.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Groundhog to.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Choice story.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Peta has sent a message Pete, of course, the People
for the Ethical Treatment of Animals calling for change to
punks of Tawny Phil. They want to retire punks of
Tawny Phil to a reputable sanctuary and start using a
cutting edge animatronic groundhog. Which listen, any animatronic groundhog is a.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Killing machine, nightmare.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
It is. There is no way there is such thing
as a friendly, nice Animatronic groundhogs just waiting to attack,
and animatronic groundhog will turn on humans eventually. All right,
So Pete is saying, get a get a nightmarriage, animatronic robot,
get Phil out of here.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
And then we read the Facebook copy.
Speaker 10 (16:50):
Are you going to a very deep dark place on
the Internet. It's time for ninety six to one kiss
Facebook comments.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
These are Facebook comments on PETA calling for the retirement
of punk Satawny Phil in place of an animatronic groundhog.
We'll start here with Ralph R. Hey, Peta, my wife
has got something big and rummery and animatronic. You can
come up to gobblers knob and wave around. That's where
we start, fred A.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
I'm from Johnstown, PA.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
My Birthday's February second, Phil and I have had a
lifelong connection.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Peta go jump in a lake? Brian H. Here, Peta
go hump a whale? David h.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
It's a conspiracy theory created by Gus, the second most
famous groundhog in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Outside of jealousy, Gus wants Phil's job is. Gus is the.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Lotto groundhog behind all this. Denny c Hey, Pete go
stick that robot groundhog where the sun don't shine. Let
me know if there's a rainbow.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Dev A.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I'm a punk Satawnian. Let me tell you not a chance.
They'll have to pry film from our cold dead hands.
Ed Jay here, what a joke. Go ahead and put
an animatronic groundhog up there, Buddy, I'll rip it out
and punt that thing. Wow, it does not sound like
the animatronic ground hats is is flying very good. In
the Facebook comment section one here with Rod J. Peter
(18:09):
should look into those weird top hat guys. A grown
man that gets as excited as that guy does pulling
a groundhog out of tree stump one morning a year
has to be doing some crazy stuff for the next
three hundred and sixty four days of the year. How
would you describe what Chapel Roan was wearing on the
red carpet of the Grammys Castle Time.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
It was tassel time. Roan went full tasseled time. She
did affect that she had a dress that was like
hooked to her nips. Nips. Yeah, you know, you saw it.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
It was tassel time for Chapel Roads. An amazing dress
it was.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
It was nice. So the show on the red carpet
as a man.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Who's worn taffle the full respect the Chapel Roan, I.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Don't know if that's I don't know if that's Tassel time.
All right, it's Mike the Kiss Morning Free Show. He
pasfled man.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
We will get to more of the Grammy's coming up
around seven to twenty five. How about a little bit.
Let's go penn so man. We were mentioning it earlier.
The Penguins, of course, beat the Rangers six to five
on Saturday, six game win streak, celebrated the ten year
anniversary and the cup team my hottest team in hockey.
(19:22):
It's so beautiful, you know what. Somebody was at the
game on Saturday. Let's see how they took it. In
here talkback messages brought to us by the Pavement group Row.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Yeah, good day boys.
Speaker 11 (19:32):
We need to talk about the kiss camp Saturday at
the penns game. Yes, this lady was performing on her partner. Now,
I've never seen the camera turn off quickly from someone
on a kiss camp.
Speaker 9 (19:44):
So anyway to sight and let's.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Go pet all right, let yes, well, let's go pack. Yeah,
we saw it, the kiss cam on Saturday. We don't
need to talk about it. I don't actually know how
to talk about it.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
The kiss cam got violated.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Kiss a little bit more than to kiss on Saturday. Uh,
I mean, hey, dead lady and her guy, they knew
what they were doing though. As soon as they were
on screen. They was just they've been waiting for that
kiss camps the show their way. Yeah, some bad news
with the Penguins. Chrysal Tang gonna be out at least
a month with a fractured foot. But I guess the
(20:19):
good thing is there's only a few more games before
the Winter Olympic break. So if there's there's a good
time to have fractured foot a couple of weeks off
here no hockey, yeah, probably right now, but you know,
as they were, you know, right before the game, they
were doing a video tribute to the twenty sixteen Stanley Cup,
you know, ten year anniversary, and you know, it was
the moment of the it was the moment of the night.
(20:42):
Sidney Crosby getting emotional and you see them, you see
a tear drop. You know, we do not see a
lot of emotion like that out of Sidney Crosby. Here
he was after the game.
Speaker 12 (20:52):
Yeah, I mean, just a lot of love for these guys.
And you know, I think seeing some of those clips
you forget, you know, you play years after, you forget
some of those moments, and I think they just they
bring back a lot of great memories and it's just
awesome to see them have here. So yeah, I think
just a lot of emotions, but at the same time,
just just great memories. I love that group, you know,
(21:15):
I love playing. I love the experiences and the memories
that I've had. So yeah, that's that's how it comes out.
I mean, it's, uh, you don't you don't see those
moments all the time. It's not like I watch those
on YouTube right now. It's like, so when you see them,
they they tend to hit you a little harder the
older you get.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Gotta be honest, I'm kind of surprised sitting Crosby, even
those with YouTube based seems like a guy that still
has a flip phone right, looks up a reportedly you
think I'm watching my old highlights on YouTube. It's just
that was a really really cool moment and well done
by the by the Penguins, just you know, showing love
to the twenty sixteen Stanley Cup team. And again they're
like the hottest team in hockey right now. They are
(21:53):
back at it again tonight at home against Ottawa. Then
they got two road games Islanders and Sabers before the
three week Olympic break. All right, we'll get into some
more Grammys coming up around seven to twenty five. Also,
let's start the week in a good mood, right, If
you have something nice to say about someone something, we'll
do a round of your messages. Say something nice. You
(22:15):
can send them through the free iHeartRadio Apple do that.
Around seven fifty five, it's Mikey and Bob kiss Hey.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Good for Justin bieber Man.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
You know, beep that a great performance. I love that performance,
just in his underpants.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
He just went out there and was that underwear. I
think it was short. Yeah, I think it was like
mess shorts.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, it's just like socks and just had his little
instruments up there.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Maybe he did, are you coming to me?
Speaker 9 (22:44):
You coon?
Speaker 1 (22:45):
It's good man. You know Beeps been through some stuff
in his career.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Yeah, Beabs has been through a lot.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
I saw somebody comment that we need an NPR justin
Bieber tiny desk after a performance like that. I couldn't
agree more. Great performance by Beachs last night. It's Mikey
Inbove the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Free Show.
Of course, the Grammys last night, Bad Bonnie winning the
biggest award of the night Album of the Year. Of course,
Bad Bonnie had some things to say in both of
(23:14):
his speeches that he gave on the night, and that
was sort of the theme of the Grammys, a lot
of artists speaking out against you know what's happening in
the country.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
I'm gonna say ice out. He's brave man. He's doing
Super Bowl on Sunday.
Speaker 6 (23:32):
We're not savage, we're not animals, we're not aliens. We
are humans, and we are Americans.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
I don't think he probably had the speech of the
night but he wasn't the only one to speak out.
Olivia Dean after she won Best New Artists.
Speaker 13 (23:49):
I guess I want to say I'm up here as
a granddaughter of an immigrant.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
I wouldn't be here. Yeah, I'm a product of.
Speaker 13 (23:58):
Bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yea also had Shaboozi, who won an award before the
broadcast started, giving a speed.
Speaker 14 (24:08):
Immigrants built this country literally, actually, so this is for them, actually,
so this is for them, for all children of immigrants.
This is also for those who came to this country
in such a better opportunity to be a part of
a nation that promised freedom for all and equal opportunities,
opportunity to everyone willing to work for it. Thank you
(24:31):
for bringing your culture, your music, your stories, and your
traditions here. You give America color. I love y'all so much.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
That was Shaboozi after he won a Grammy. Also, Kailani
won Grammy for her song Folded Like R and B song.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
She just speaking out.
Speaker 15 (24:48):
What I want to make sure that I say is
that everybody is so powerful in this room, and in
this room later and together, we're stronger in numbers to
speak against all the injustice going.
Speaker 9 (24:57):
On in the world right now.
Speaker 15 (24:59):
So instead of letting it be just a couple of
you here and there, I hope everybody's inspired to join
together as a community of artists and speak out against
what's going on. And I'm gonna leave this and say.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Ice, I think she was the first one that went
off there. And then it's sort of what the floodgates
were open. Here was Billy Eilish after winning Song of
the Year. That was sort of an upset. I did
not think Billy wild Wildflower, even though I love that song,
it didn't think it was gonna win Song of the Year.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
But you know, she's up there with her brother Phineas no.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
One is illegal on stolen land.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
There we go.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
Yeah, it's just really hard to know what to say
and what to do right now. And I just I
feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like
we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and
protesting and our voices really do matter and the people matter.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
And I say sorry, yeah, yeah, And we'll never know
what she said there, but probably wasn't something too great
for the administration. And then you know, and then Air
gave out record of the Year to Luther Van Dross
and the Grammy goes to.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Record of the Year. Here we go, Share, you got this, Oh, but.
Speaker 9 (26:12):
They told me it was gonna be on them.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
No, it's not on the promptum they read the envelope.
Speaker 9 (26:17):
Share goes to Luther Grandhouse.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
She didn't even say Luther Vandross. Right, Grand Gross.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
And there is no way, there is no way that
that card says Luther Vandross on it. It says Luther
on it. But you know, SHARE's like, there's only one Luther.
She's right, there's only one, but still grand Luther.
Speaker 9 (26:44):
Who Oh, the commy goes to Luther grand Jaws. The
grammy goes to Luther.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Grand drows n. That's so. And also Van Dross is
his last name. Share, you know that Share?
Speaker 3 (26:58):
You know it?
Speaker 9 (26:59):
Oh, the gommic, the lither Grus.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
And we were all just as surprised as Share there
and then we didn't know this, but chaer became part
of Kendrick and says his cruise. She is now part
of TD Oh you know she's she's in the crew now,
all right, Bob is going through Grammy Facebook comments.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
We're letting them cook. We're letting them cook.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
They drew a lot of people in with the Assie tribute,
post Malone slash from Guns and Jet Chad.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Yeah, we'll get to.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Some Grammy Facebook comments. See uh see what those are cooking?
Like here around eight.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Fifty five of them Kiss Morning Freak Shows like you.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Bob, I felt bad for it. The Grammys last night.
Alex warren Man, his earpiece was messing him up a.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Little bit off.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
He took it off at one point and he was
just really off. And then you're like, oh, dude, you
gotta put that back in. I don't know if it's
giving you feedback, but you gotta put that back in.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
And then they just rose them up to the sky.
I was just like, well boosted them all.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
If there's one thing that wasn't gonna work, I'm glad
it was his ear piece and not the stage right
the riser he was on and everything. It's Mikey about
the Kiss Morning Freak Show. Obviously, the the Grammys were
on last night. We will get to some Grammy Award
Facebook comments after Bad Bunny wins the biggest award of
the night Album of the Year, coming up around eight
(28:23):
fifty five on the Kiss Morning Freak Show. The parking
chair situation in our city has reached a new killer
level here. I just I think I have seen everything.
You know, we were talking about this last week. Somebody
put like a two foot Jesus Nativity statue. Yeah, seeing
a toilet out there, parking Jesus is unstoppable.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
It's just there is a lot going on in the
city with parking chairs.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
You know. Mayor Corey O'Connor even said respect the parking chair.
So let's get some of these talkback messages brought to
us by One Team Media.
Speaker 8 (28:55):
Hey, guys, catching up on the podcast about the Pittsburgh
parking chair law. I work in shady Side and so
far I have seen not only numerous chairs, but a
small coffee table, an old, chewed up love seat, and
an old, scratched up cat tree. So I guess when
you don't have a chair, you got to use whatever's
(29:16):
on hand. Stay warm out there.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Have a good day.
Speaker 8 (29:18):
You know.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
The thing I don't really get about parking chair is
they're very easily movable. Like if somebody a love seat,
if somebody puts a love seat out there, like that's
that's the cheat code there.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
That's when you're really playing games there, hike.
Speaker 11 (29:32):
Yeah, talking about parking chairs and parking Jesus, we're in
the West End.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
We got a busted up ceiling fan when no blades
on anything can be used to save that.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Okay, over in the West End, a busted up ceiling fan.
Just somebody threw out there.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
You think that people are having such a hard time
with the parking chair, at least some people is because
it hasn't snowed like this in a long time, and
a lot of people are maybe at the age really
their first time homeowners or moved into their own place
for the first time and don't understand the rules are
the rules? People maybe have never lived in Pittsburgh for
a big snowfall just like this, you don't touch the chair,
(30:12):
that could be it.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Man, I don't know. I think this snowfall on a
lot of people will just sort of lose their minds.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
I feel like, you know, I feel like you know
how when you buy a house or whatever, like the
real estate person will give you a packet of all
the stuff that goes along with your house. Like I
feel like there should be a one sheet of like
these are the street rules. Yeah, get used to these like,
if it snows, there's gonna be chairs out there. Don't
touch one that's not yours.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Here's the real rules. But here's the ins or rules
right inches of snow.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Maybe it's people moving in from other areas too, then,
aren't used to you know what we do around here?
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Could be Let's get to another message there.
Speaker 16 (30:47):
More than VICKI and move Ryan from the sound tills here.
You gotta check out those snow parking wars on TikTok.
People clearing out their snow from a parking spot in
front of their house and then having somebody they come
in and steal it, and then they get paid back
by shoving all the snow back on their car. Yeah,
it's pretty funny. I just wanted to see what your
(31:08):
thoughts on that etiquette was awesome? Okay bye Steelers.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Yeah it's I watched one this this past weekend in
the city parking war. Did the lady like it was
a great added on it? You Like she caught the
lady taking the spot and then like shoveled her car
and then got the ring camera of the lady coming
up to the house going, hey, what happened to my car?
Speaker 1 (31:34):
In the full circle.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Dude, he're telling her that's not your spot, Like it's
obvious what happened to your car?
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Then the cops show up. It's like fully documented.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
That's great, I mean not great for the lady who
got a car completely shoveled.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Rules of the parking chair rules.
Speaker 2 (31:52):

When when do when do the details come out about that?
Because hey, they went all in with that, right. MasterCard
paid a pretty penny to basically have an entire commercial
block to themselves on the Grammys. It was like the
(33:18):
full video of Noahcon's new song, The Great Divide, and
then at the end it's just, hey, this is a
MasterCard commercial whole time.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
And then it's like, yeah, no Coon's going on tour too. Yeah.
They direct you to the.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Priceless dot com slash Noahcon and it just has a
tour coming soon, Hope.
Speaker 1 (33:37):

Speaker 2 (33:40):

they have little uh, little markers markers on a map,
and it looks like one could be over here in
Western pen I don't know, Western Pennsylvania looks like it has.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
A, okay, all right, we already know the details, we
just can't see them yet. What I don't know? I
don't know. Do you say something nice? All right? Hey,

Speaker 18 (34:54):
She just always has my back. She's always checking up
on me. We go on the greatest camping trips ever.
And when I told her I was a furry, she

a Florida story or something like that, and somebody does
something totally obscure and it's obvious that maybe they have
something going on. You always talk about the story, have
(36:49):
your laugh, but then you'll say, hey, listen, seven, this
person might be struggling with something, going through a tough time,
and we hope that they get the help that they need.
Every time you say I hope they get the hope
that they need. At the end of the day, it
just gives me goosebumps of just love for you guys,
because I just appreciate how much you laugh and carry
on but also understand that people struggle and go through
(37:11):
hard times and just kind of send that good vibe
out to them.

I just feel like I just wanted to talk to
you guys to say, man about Katherine O'Hara from Home Alone,
the Mall and of course Bill Juice.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Man, Guys, this one hurts my millennial heart.
Speaker 21 (38:34):
Yeah, breaking and then reading what mcaulay culkin put, Oh
my god, in tears.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Yeah that was that was a stunner over the weekend. Man,
Catherine O'Hara has been in everything. You know, she was
the mom and Home Alone.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
You know, Shit's creak, She's yeah, more recently, shit's Creek.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Yeah, everybody and h Yeah, she's been a ton of
things just over the years. But you know, mcaulay culkin
and her have just a great relationship and everything, and
you know, have have sort of supported each other through
their entire careers and since Home Alone and mcaulay culkin posted, Mama,
I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted
(39:13):
to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you,
but I had so much more to say. I love you,
I'll see you later. Yeah, that's that's tough, Catherine O'Hara,
Home Alone, Shit's Creek, seventy one years old. Jeda heart
condition right where the heart was like on the other
side of her like body. Yeah, yeah, crazy, I never
(39:35):
knew that. But yeah, she's just an absolute legend in
every aspect, like funny, serious, but just yeah, just an
absolute great actress. Yes, rest in peace to Catherine O'Hara.
All right, let's get to another talkback message here real quick.
Speaker 22 (39:53):
I'm like you, Bob, catching up on the Hinds, catch
up Bottle Hunter and twenty Ounce Cake Stand episodes.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
Oh yeah, yeah that was on Friday.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Yeah, Heinz Ketchup is coming out with a one hundred
and twenty ounce keg of Heinz ketchup called the keg Chup.
We were reading Facebook comments on the show on Friday
about that.
Speaker 22 (40:11):
And I dated a girl for a minute that had
a Heinz glass ketchup bottle tattooed on her butt, and
and I thought that was just the best.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
So Yinser, it hurts right, I used to date a girl.
I thought it was the best.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
We used to have, not even like nice time myself.
Cheek went wow, not in the plastic squeeze. Hell no,
hell no, glass bottle. She had the glass but.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
Oh, you're in the Heinz red zone.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
No, it makes sense to me now, glass Heinz bottle.
What do you gotta do to the glass hinds bottle
to get the ketchup out?
Speaker 1 (40:54):
Tapp it? Yeah, I give it a couple smacks.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Okay, Hey, injured lady, I see what you're doing there
with your tattoo round back. Well, Hearnet Sheer loved it, man,
hearn ed Sheer and both have Heinz ketchup tattoos.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
I just don't think his is on his butt sheets
like hers are all right?
Speaker 2 (41:14):
Coming up next on the show, around eight twenty five,
Me and Bob are going to power rank our top
five Grammy performances from last night, and we'll get to
some Grammy Facebook comments around eight fifty five, your chance
to win one thousand dollars around nine ten.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
It's Mikey and Bobba.
Speaker 22 (41:29):
This Sunday, iHeartRadio brings you Live to Levi Stadium in
Santa Clara for the super BOWLT sixtytail Gate concert.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Leon Thomas in all the nominees for Best New Artist
last night at the Grammys. I love that they should
do that every year, just like Middle of the Grammys,
have every Best New Artist just perform a little bit,
you know, a little taste.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
It was great.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
I mean it was a longer segment, but I loved it. Yeah,
just seeing all the different Best New Artists. Of course, uh,
Best New Artists was won by Olivia Dean. That was
sort of the easy one to pick last night. The
other ones did not really go as plans.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
We got that one right. That was the one we
got right of all of our Grammy picks. Hey, that
was the one we got right.
Speaker 14 (42:15):
One.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Hey, we got that one.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Experts over here, Oh, we got we got that one right. Yeah,
all right, and also, of course you know Record of
the Year went to Luther who.
Speaker 9 (42:28):
The comment goes to Luther gros.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Luther grand Drosse. Thank you very much. It's gonna be
funny for the next few days. Here heard you wandering
up on stage, draw share. We need your back, come
back here, do the do the record of the year please.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
Of course, bad Bunny winning album of the Year.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
But Bob, it is time to power rank our top
five favorite Grammy performances from last night.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
This is Baby, It's time for polo rankings.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Was liking Bob Nutty six one Kiss Top five Grammy performances,
Bob number five, Somber, Oh really, I feel like Somber
had had like a Benson Boone type moment. Came out
ye shiny suit on Like that's very bents and boonish,
(43:26):
but like still had the moment captured the crowd. And
I think Trevor Noah made a big deal about him.
He went last, so Trevor noa like hyped him up
at the end too. And I think him singing twelve
to twelve, which is more of an upbeat song than
his bigger songs, was cool. Due number five for me,
I'm going Sabrina Carpenter manchild Man, Sabrina Airlines. You know
(43:49):
it's she's just a little cute, little boot pop star
and it's just fun to watch her.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
You know, she's talking on the speaker thing.
Speaker 9 (43:59):
It's not damn.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
It's just so campy and fun. Number four Best Grammy
Performance Bop. That's that's where I put Sabrina fil Okay,
you got.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Number four for me? I got Bruno Mars. I just mind.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
It's Bruno Mars. He can do no wrong. I don't
care if he keeps singing the same type of song.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
I don't go on the list for Bruno Mars. Okay.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Number three Bob Olivia Dean. Okay, she was part of
the Best Artist medley. It's her her time, right, like
it's her moment. Was She's Yeah, it was her moment,
and then she's still part of She's She's like part
of the Taylor Swift coaching tree because Taylor put Sabrina
on and Sabrina put Olivia on.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Okay, yeah with openers, Yeah yeah, it's part of the
coaching tree.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
Man number three for me, I kind of wish they
did a different song, but I loved clips and Pharrell
singing so far ahead.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
I was kind of disappointed they didn't get Album of
the Year. Loved that clips album number two for you,
Bob Bruno mars all right, all right, he's great. He
does no wrong. He doesn't Number two sometimes he does,
but not on stage. Number two for me, best Gramm reforms.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
I liked Gaga, I ever coulda I like him. I
liked wearing the wicker furniture on her head. Dude, it's Goga,
It's core Gaga. I love that Gaga. Like I don't
give me normal Gaga.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
On a piano. I need that Gaga Gaga. I saw
a wicker cheer back stage and just.
Speaker 1 (45:31):
Goes give it to give it to me. You know what,
we can make something out of this. All right? We
had number one here, Bob.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
Favorite Grammy performance from last night might be the same
for both of us. Bebes, dude, Justin Bieber Number one.
For me, it's Ukon Justin Bieber out on stage all alone.
One light on him like he's got the pedal thing
there to record his guitar play, and then he just
(45:58):
nails it. I I on a just think what is
the performance that we're gonna remember from this year's Grammys,
And no matter what you think of him, I just
think we'll all remember beabes up there and like, you know,
a pair of shorts in his socks. Just Beab's been
through from crap too, singing you cad. You can tell
when he sings like it's it's from the heart. And
(46:19):
yeah it's great. And I love the shots they have
of Hailey to his wife. Yes, yeah, she's looking on
and just so happy. Man, wow, got the both of yes.
Stole the show for us last night. All right, we
will get to a route home.
Speaker 19 (46:33):
Man.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
I can't wait for the Grammy Facebook comments around eight
fifty five on the Kiss Morning Freak shows Mike and
Bob Grant performance at the Grammys last night by somber.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
But right now, let's get to this.
Speaker 10 (46:48):
Something together.
Speaker 1 (46:49):
Right now, it's time to find that what the hell
is this city with Mikey and bad Hey.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
Super Bowl media night tonight, Yeah, Film Network, So that'll
be uh, the Seahawks and Patriots answering a bunch of
wacky questions. I just I don't I don't care. I
don't want the Patriots to win. Yeah, and I'll be
there for the commercials and bad Bunny like, this is
all this other stuff leading up to what I'm not
(47:17):
really into.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
No, this really is. I don't care about the Patriots
or Seahawks.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Sure, I want the Seahawks to win, but yeah, I'm
very much more looking forward to bad Bunny in the
commercials than I am the actual game, I think.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
Also trending, Bob.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Of course, today is Groundhog Day. What do we got
there with with punks and tawny film. They whipped Phil
out and he saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks
of winter.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
All right, we got to eat the groundhog. That's it.
Somebody's got to eat the groundhog. At this point.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
We can't have six more weeks of winter going like this.
This was the final straw. A lot of things, of course,
trending from the Grammy. Nicki Minaj was trending because of
Trevor Noah's joke about her.
Speaker 1 (48:04):
Nicki Minaj is not here. She is not here, she
is she is still at the White House. Here Nicki
Minaj has been hanging around the White House.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
Also trending is, of course the White House and the
current president because he is now threatening to sue Trevor
Noah over the Epstein island joke that he made during
the Grammys, which, by the way, Epstein is definitely trending.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
You can dive into all that that came out over
the weekend. We don't really need to get into that
on our show. But here's this song of the Year,
Congratulations Binny Eilish.
Speaker 2 (48:45):
Wow.
Speaker 23 (48:46):
That is a Grammy that every artist wants, almost as
much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense. I mean,
because Epstein's island is gone, he needs a new one
to hang out with Bill Clinton.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
So oh, I told you it's my life year. What
are you gonna do about it?
Speaker 2 (49:02):
Okay, I'm really wondering if Trevor Noah like just just
like I don't care, this is the last time I'm
hoping hosting the Grammys, or if that was always uh
you know, written in the written in the script there.
But yes, of course he's now threatening to sue Trevor
Noah because of the uh.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
The jokes, which you know, of course that's that's a
whole thing too. Uh let's see. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:27):
Super Bowl Media Knight Tonight also the exact opposite of
Super Bowl Media Night.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
Season four of.
Speaker 2 (49:32):
Below Deck down Under on Bravo Tonight, Bob it's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
That's Captain Jason, the Hunky Captain.
Speaker 2 (49:42):
I love that you're just reality TV show captain Jason,
a hunky cat.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
I've been on some Bravo shows. Man Below Decks one
of them. I know, I like Don Hunder is not
my favorite, but Hunky Captain. Yeah, he's a good he's
a good character.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
I do like when you turn into Bravo, Bob and
have so much knowledge about Bravo shows. Well, they ran, dude,
there were points this week and where I just drifted
into Below Deck because they're running all the repeat.
Speaker 1 (50:06):
Yeah, you got marathon on next thing?
Speaker 2 (50:08):
You know, it's two hours later and here I am
watching Captain Jason.
Speaker 24 (50:13):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
Season ten of Summer House premieres tomorrow on Bravo. So
it's Bravo's got a good premiere week and then everybody
clear out. Everybody needs to watch this because I personally
need this to be successful. On Wednesday, Okay, The Muppet
Show on Disney Plus and ABC on Wednesday. Yeah, I
(50:34):
think I went today. The running It on both This
is the one with Seth Seth Rogan sort of behind
this one. Sabrina Carpenter is gonna be on it, so Yes,
the Muppet Show is back.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
ABC, and watch it for my man, Mike. All right, listen,
watch Bravo shows for Bravo, Bob. It needs to work.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Watch the Muppet Show for me because I need a
Muppet Show to work right now, because with everything going
on in the world, I need consistent Muppets in my life.
All right, We will to Grammy Award Facebook comments coming
up around eight to fifty five. Also your chance to
win one thousand dollars around nine ten. It's Mikey Abob,
I'm Michael here and Bob concas Hey, why did you
(51:13):
just put a picture of hairless Garfield with six nipples
in our group chat case for the Monday.
Speaker 10 (51:19):
Dreamed The Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcast post malone.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Part of the Ozzy Osbourne tribute with Andrew wattsch Ad Smith,
Duff McKagan and Slash last night at the Grammy Awards.
Also Lauren Hill that whole tribute with you know, to ROBERTA.
Flack and DiAngelo Like that was great. Like Lauren Hill
just kept bringing out you know, R and B singers
and yeah, they did a really good job. I thought
(51:48):
with the Immemoriam segment. It is Mikey, it is Bob
the ninety six one Kiss Morning Free Show. It's time
to go to Grammy's Facebook comments.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Oh boy, beware, Oh no.
Speaker 9 (51:58):
Man, it's please on the internet.
Speaker 10 (52:01):
It's time for nutty six to one kiss Facebook comments.
Speaker 2 (52:06):
This is usually a pretty uh, pretty scary place. I
feel like we thought it was pretty good, but it's
Facebook and.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
We know how that goes. Yeah, is it all gonna
be positive? Probably not?
Speaker 2 (52:17):
Huh Facebook comments about the Grammy Awards, Michael A. This
ain't the Grammys anymore. It's been renamed the Hip Hop Rappies.
Can't believe I watched two hours of this cramp just
to see.
Speaker 1 (52:31):
The Aussie tribute. Okay, the hip Hop Rappies. Michelle.
Speaker 2 (52:36):
Why Justin Bieber is still sexy after all these years?
I was waiting for him to drop his drawers, Sharon
w Is this the best that Grammys can do for
a tribute to the greatest rocker ever?
Speaker 1 (52:48):
One damn song? Come on, Ozzie deserves much more better
than this. I'm not interested in seeing all these naked
bodies in the music. That's not music anymore.
Speaker 2 (52:58):
Rest peacefully, Ozzy I will play all your music all
the time. Joseph P and the Grammy's Facebook comments.
Speaker 1 (53:07):
I am a metal head. Oh hell yeah. The Aussi
tribute was the only part of the show. It was entertaining.
Rock music should have its own awards show away.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
From this rap pop bubblegumpuke.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Ladies and gentlemen. Randy's Rock Awards. Maria P.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
Didn't have Chapel Roon's nipples on my twenty twenty six
Bingo card, but here we are.
Speaker 1 (53:31):
You know what I actually did.
Speaker 2 (53:32):
I had Chapel Roans nipples on my twenty twenty six
Bingo card.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Garantee here Illuminati.
Speaker 2 (53:39):
Most of them were probably on Epistine Island.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
Episteine Island. Creg w Ain't never listened to post Malone's band.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
I know he's the Budweiser guy in the Azzi tribute.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
Kick ass, Hell yeah, Budweiser.
Speaker 2 (54:00):
I love that there's somebody's uncle Greg that just sees
postmone goes Otherwiser guy right. Tyler W and the Grammy's
Facebook comments. Was very nervous for Justin bieber one rock
jiggle and we would have seen it all.
Speaker 1 (54:14):
Mark d Awesome tribute. After watching the Grammys for the
Aussie tribute.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
I cannot wait to not watch baby Bunny perform.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
At the Super Bowl. Oh okay, all right, yeah, just listen.
I'm not watching. Who is this baby Bunny? I don't
care who he is? That baby Bunny David. See here,
Grammy suck Man, if you're gonna do a rock tribute to.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
The Prince of Darkness, at least get some rock and
rollers up there.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
Surprised they didn't have anyone rap on his songs. And
one more here Grammy's Facebook comments.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
Kathy h tired of all the sex and nipples on
my TV. Kay caf Jesus is coming back right, and
Satan better be scared. Sabrina Carpenter, great job performing Manchild
at the Grammys, I wrote in my notes app after
Sabrina performed, Sabrina was born to do exactly what she's doing.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
She's just a great little boop, right, She's just.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
A tiny little boop, tiny little pop star.
Speaker 1 (55:19):
Right. Pretty good person too, A good person.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
Yeah, it's Mike Yabob the ninety six to one Kiss
Morning Freak Show. Jelly Roll was you know after he
won what Best Country album? Was up there just yelling
Jesus the very safe based speech doing his jelly roll thing. Yeah,
he was saying Jesus is for everyone. But I guess
(55:43):
my counter to that would be, not everyone believes in Jesus.
So Jesus is not for everybody, because if you don't
believe in Jesus, or if you have a different religion
where Jesus is not the main figure.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
Then you don't believe that.
Speaker 2 (55:56):
The jelly Roll gets up there, he's like a big
dog with the zuomis. Man, they get him out. He
doesn't know what to do. He does get hyper his
his speech. He ramped up, man, Yeah he does. You know,
he's just gonna end by you know, it's just the
motivational speech at the end. So hey, good, good for
good for mister jelly Roll up there yelling about Jesus.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Yesterday.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
Man, there is some there are some news that is
coming out this morning, just concerning Savannah Guthrie, who's usually
on of course the Today Show on uh on NBC.
Speaker 24 (56:30):
UH.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
She's not on the Today's Show today, And I mean,
you gotta think, by the way, just I know we're
gonna get into what's happening here, Bob, but NBC right
now they have the Super Bowl on Sunday. Yeah, they
have the the opening ceremonies. The Winter Olympics are about
to be part of our lives for the next few weeks.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
A lot going on, right, Yeah, So what is what
is the reason here? What is going on?
Speaker 2 (56:53):
Her eighty four year old mom has gone missing, like
like for real missing. They you know, the sheriffs. She's
from Arizona. The sheriffs have come out and spoke that,
you know, they're hoping for her safe return. They encourage
anybody to reach out to them because they have no
clue where she is. She had no cognitive issues at all.
(57:15):
She was always very alert, of good sound mind. And yeah,
they're investigating it as a crime. The scene at her
house was very concerning. They described it as grave concern
and that's what caused the local law enforcement to act urgently.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
She's on the issues. So pretty wild story coming out
this morning. Eighty four years old.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
She was last seen on the evening of January thirty first,
and there are disturbing signs at her home.
Speaker 1 (57:48):
But she's not there. There's not like a body there
or anything.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
But I guess in the press conference that they held
either overnight or early early this morning, the possibility of
fall play has not been ruled out. And and uh,
I'm a side detectives are involved, even though there's no
like Mike said, there's no body or you.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
Know, and she didn't have like a history of like
dementia or walking off or anything like that.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
From what they're saying, yeah, a lot of times it's
what you think when like just eighty four year old
person randomly goes missing. And but yeah, geez us, obviously
serious situation. We hope the best for Savannah Guthrie and
uh and her mom. All right, real quick, before we
give away a thousand dollars, let's get to this talkback
message here brought to us by one Team Media Flora.
Speaker 25 (58:32):
I just wanted to applaud you guys for how you
can segue between Catherine O'Hara's death to catch up buck
Patch straight to Grammys and Power rankings for the top
Grammy songs perform. You guys are so funny and so
amazing and thank you.
Speaker 2 (58:50):
All right, well, we're going to transition awkwardly now from
the Savannah Guthrie mom thing into hey, do you want
to win a thousand dollars? I mean, there's no way
I could do this professions in the biz.
Speaker 14 (59:01):
What we are?
Speaker 1 (59:06):
All right?
Speaker 2 (59:07):
So we saw the commercial for MasterCard on the Grammys,
which is basically Noah kN Uh the Great Divide Music Video,
and then there was a tease of a tour after.
We don't have an official announcement yet on a Noah
Con tour. I mean you go to the Mastercarb website
and they have they have the map and then they
got pins, right, they got pins on the map and
(59:29):
Pittsburgh's definitely a pinned.
Speaker 1 (59:30):
So maybe we're getting noa Con. Not an official yet,
but we do have it though. We got a pin.
We have a pin. Okay, so it's coming. Uh, But
what what just got announced here?
Speaker 2 (59:41):
Bab This morning Post Malone and Jelly Roll the Big
Ass Stadium Tour two.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
They're going at it again.
Speaker 2 (59:47):
They're going back out Posty and Jelly Roll may through
the end of July. However, the closest that looks like
it's getting to Pittsburgh is going to be Cleveland, Ohio,
at least for now. You know how that always works.
Maybe there's second leg or something. It's Mikey and Bob
the Kiss Morning Freak Show. So Post Malone it was
part of the Aussie tribute. Last night, jelly Roll won
(01:00:08):
Like What It was the Best Country Album, and jelly
Roll was asked backstage at the Grammys, you know, just
to comment on ice and everything that is happening in
the in the country.
Speaker 21 (01:00:20):
I can tell you that people shouldn't care to hear
my opinion. Man, you know, I'm a dumb redneck. I
haven't watched enough. I didn't have a phone for eighteen months.
I've had one for four months and don't have social media.
I hate to be the artist in static aloof but
I just I've come so disconnected from what's happening.
Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
And man, he pulled the big Ben card. I don't
have social media. I don't know what's going on. He
used to be Ben's move.
Speaker 21 (01:00:39):
I didn't even know politics were real until I was
in my mid twenties in jail. And I have a
lot to say about it, and I'm going to in
the next week, and everybody's gonna hear exactly what I
have to say about it in the most loud and
clear way I've ever spoke in my life.
Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
So I look forward to it, all right, So what's
that gonna be? I don't know, is he gonna do
like an Ice song or something. He started cracking there.
See he said he's gonna be loud about it this week,
would be clear. Yeah, all right.
Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
Obviously that was a big part of the Grammys last night,
people speaking out against Ice and the current administration, including
Bad Bunnie.
Speaker 26 (01:01:14):
Obviously I'm gonna say Ice out. I got a big
response for that.
Speaker 6 (01:01:24):
We're not savage, we're not animals, we're not aliens. We
are humans, and we are Americans.
Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
I think it really all started with Kailanie after she
won an R and B Grammy.
Speaker 15 (01:01:40):
What I want to make sure that I say is
that everybody is so powerful in this room and in
this room later and together, we're stronger in numbers to
speak against all the injustice.
Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Going on in the world right now.
Speaker 15 (01:01:51):
So instead of letting it be just a couple of
you here and there, I hope everybody's inspired to join
together as a community of artists and speak out against
what's going on.
Speaker 17 (01:01:59):
And I'm gonna leave this.
Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
So there was that also Shaboozy he got a Grammy
and this was like before the actual broadcast was on,
but he was up there, you know, talking about immigrants.
Speaker 14 (01:02:12):
Immigrants built this country literally actually, so this is for them,
for all children of immigrants. This is also for those
who came to this country in search a better opportunity
to be a part of a nation that promised freedom
for all and equal opportunities, opportunity to everyone willing to
work for it. Thank you for bringing your culture, your music,
(01:02:33):
your stories, and your traditions here. You give America color.
I love y'all so much.
Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
All right, that was Shahboozi and then Olivia Dean when
she got up there she won Best New Artist.
Speaker 13 (01:02:44):
I guess I want to say I'm up here as
a granddaughter of an immigrant.
Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
I wouldn't be here.
Speaker 13 (01:02:52):
Yeah, I'm a product of bravery and I think those
people deserve to be celebrated.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
And also Billie Eilish after she won Song of the Year.
Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
No one is illegal on stolen Land. Yeah, it's just
really hard to know what to say and what to
do right now. And I just I feel really hopeful
in this room, and I feel like we just need
to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting and our
voices really do matter, and the people matter.
Speaker 10 (01:03:21):
And I'll say.
Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
Sorry, yeah, I don't know what was beeped out there
but it was something that got that reaction. And then
you know, Album of the Year went to Bad Bunny, who,
of course is going to have a huge week. He
wins the biggest award, he gives probably the most memorable
speech at the Grammys, and then you know, for Bolts,
(01:03:46):
he's six days away from doing halftime at the super Bowl,
which is gonna be hundred plus million people.
Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
It's crazy. He's gonna have a global audience for that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Like the super Bowl halftime numbers are going to be
massive for this halftime show. I'm absolutely more excited for
Bad Bunny than I am the actual game.
Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
I don't really care.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
I hope the Patriots lose, but it's not I'm gonna
be able to sleep at night if the Patriots win
the super Bowl. But I think I'm more excited for
Bad Bunny in the in the commercials and also the
movie trailers too. Did you see uh ju see during
the Grammys the Michael Jackson, Oh yeah, yeah, I did
see that trailer's coming out and then Devil Wears product too.
(01:04:25):
That trailers out now too, right.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
There'll be a bunch of come out through the through
the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Yeah, all right, coming up at the end of the show,
we will get to our top five podcast names of
the month of January.
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
We always do this at the end of the month.
It's a big Linz for January. All right, we'll do
that towards the end of the show, around nine to
fifty five, Kiss Morning Freak Show. Mike you bum.
Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
Olivia Dean great performance and won Best New Artist. No
surprise at the Grammys last night. A lot of times
like I won't remember how I felt in the morning,
so I'll just be in my notes app like writing
little notes about the Grammys whatever, And I just wrote,
Olivia Dean is Sunshine. The attaccurate though, right, Like she
(01:05:12):
just feels like sunshine. When she performed, she was the
one that everybody jumped up for, like as soon as
her song hit, it's her, It's her time, right. Yeah,
It's Mikey and Bob the ninety six to one Kiss
Morning Freak Show. Let's get too quick talkback message he
brought to us by the Pavement group. Hey, Mikey and Bob,
it's Jason and Tim with American Leak Detection. I just
want to let you know we're currently on our way
(01:05:33):
to Punksatani.
Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
We're gonna eat Phil, all right. I got people going
to Punksatani.
Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
They are mad that we got six more weeks of
winter because punks and Tawny Phil whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
You're gonna have to fight a whole army of the
top hack guys though.
Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
Yeah, part of the top hack creed is you will
put your life on the line for punks and Tony Phil.
Speaker 1 (01:05:51):
So you're gonna have they They.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Will bite, they will bite, I think, I think not
so much the groundhog. The top hat people will bite.
A couple of them are trained with nunchucks. I don't
think that's I heard, Yeah, I heard it's the real thing.
I don't think that's a real thing. How About let's
go penns Man Penguins with a nice win over the weekend. Uh,
they are just hot right now, six to five over
(01:06:13):
the Rangers.
Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
Courch Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Coach Sully was back in the building. It was the
ten year anniversary of the twenty sixteen Cup, and the
big thing I think from that that game was just
the Sidney Crosby getting emotional. I don't think we've seen
Sidney Crosby shed a tear effort, maybe unleashed one tier.
It was a single tier the most powerful tier in
the history of Pittsburgh Sports.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
One tier. It is more powerful in a full Croy.
Yeah it is.
Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
It is because it's like you're trying to hold it
back so much and then one falls and you're like,
that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
I can't show emotion emos emoson emosh.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
Here was Sidney Crosby just about how he felt and
the emotions of Saturday.
Speaker 8 (01:06:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (01:06:58):
I mean, just a lot of love for these guys,
and you know, I think seeing some of those clips
you forget, you know, you play years after that, you
forget some of those moments, and I think they just
they bring back a lot of great memories and it's
just awesome to see them Ablegator. So yeah, I think
just a lot of emotions. But at the same time,
just just I love that group, you know, I love playing.
(01:07:22):
I love the experiences and the memories.
Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
That I've had.
Speaker 12 (01:07:25):
So yeah, that's that's how it comes out. I mean, it's, uh,
you don't you don't see those moments all the time.
It's not like I watch those on YouTube right now.
It's like, uh so when you see them, they they
tend to hit you a little harder the older you get.
Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
I gotta be honest with them.
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
As much work over the you know, last couple decades
we've done with the Penguins. I would cry like a
baby if the Penguins had a Mikey and Bob like
highlight package that showed like the big screen freak show section, like, yeah,
us hosting human bowling on the ice, Like I understand
how these guys get emotional in reflected that some music. Yeah,
(01:08:02):
and you know they're I think one of the coolest
things was seeing the guys from the ten year team
the twenty sixteen team in the locker room just you know,
hanging out, shooting it with the guys and everything and
just it's Yeah, it's great. Penguins again on a six
game win streak. Now they play again tonight at home.
(01:08:24):
This is the final home game before the Olympic break
against Ottawa. Then there are two games on the road
Islanders and Sabers, and then three week Olympic break. Chris
letang out for at least a month with a fractured foot.
But if there's a time to get hurt, it's right
before the Olympic. I say it kind of times out
with the Olympic break.
Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
Yeah, to get healed up and everything.
Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
Also, some Steelers news is they continue to fill the
coaching staff around head coach Mike McCarthy. The Steelers have
officially hired Patrick Graham as their new defensive coordinator. He
spent the last four seasons as the Races defensive coordinator.
All right, coming up next on the show, Well, let
me just get to this talkback message real quick.
Speaker 24 (01:09:06):
Thanking Bobbick, thank you here. You need to say your
five favorite podcast names of the month for January.
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
