Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the 96.1 Kiss Morning Freak Show.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Uh-oh.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I got the frowny face on the computer. Oh, that's not.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I just realized that, yeah. The frowny face isn't good.
That's not good.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Are we on? Is the station working right now? Hello?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah, I got frowny face, dude. It never goes frowny face.
When it goes frowny face, something went wrong.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Right?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Like our system actually tells us if things are going
bad by either smiley face or frowny face, it is
a yellow face, which now is looking like you might
have a problem. That's the look the yellow face is
giving me. And also there's a blinking red light behind.
You might have a problem. Smiley face.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah. We're at red light.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
It's looking at me like something's going wrong. Well, yesterday
we started the show and, uh, You know, we had
some engineering in here doing things with the studio that
we broadcast out of. And yesterday the show started and
our voices were like pitched down. It was really, by
the way, I came in this morning and that's all

(01:00):
the messages were about.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Mikey, Bob.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 6 (01:03):
I was just catching up on the podcast on my
way home and I really thought I was losing it for.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
The beginning of the show.

Speaker 7 (01:09):
I was like, their voices are not right.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah. I was like, slow down. Is this like central
Mikey and Bob?

Speaker 7 (01:15):
Is that what's happening? We're pitching it down.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
It was.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:18):
And then I like, obviously after the first commercial break,
like when you guys came back, explain what happened, but
it really threw me through a loop.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
All right. Funny as hell.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Love you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
It was a weird start to the show yesterday. So
then I came in here this morning and, um, I
basically I tell our control board, hey, 96 one kiss.
That is what's going to broadcast out of this studio today.
And then I hit this little button and all the
screens in the studio go to 96 one kiss logo.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Right, right.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, I did that this morning three different times. Every
time I've done it, the penguins logo has come up.
which isn't a big deal, which isn't a big deal.
Usually maybe it's just telling us, Hey, get ready. Penguin
sees around court. But now I'm thinking everything we say
on the show, because we, we are a very video

(02:08):
heavy show. We like to put clips out of our show.
We can't put clips out of our show with the
penguins logo in the back.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Uh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
And the frowny face is concerning. The frowny face might be.
And that it's flashing red. And the penguin logo might
actually be the least of our worries right now.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
All right.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Well, hopefully everybody can hear us, and hopefully we can
stay on the air until 10 a.m.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
This morning. It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
96.1.

Speaker 9 (02:32):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Let's get to this message. It's our buddy Bobo the mailman. Morning, boys.
Bobo the mailman here. There he is. I would love
to have one of those ducks, each of those ducks.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Oh, ducks, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I feel like deviating off the hill and coming down.
On your way home, stop at the post office to
Bobo Jeep. I have a Jeep, too. Oh, he's got
a Jeep?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
In the back.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Be more happy to duck me. I would love it. Careful.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Have a great day, boys.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
All right, Bobo the mailman. All right.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yeah, thanks again to our friends over at the C.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Harper Auto Group. They made these Mikey and Bob C.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Harper Jeep ducks that we're handing out to people, I guess,
putting them on Jeeps and everything. By the way, I
had a home delivery yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Nice lady. Three younger girls show up to the house.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Knock.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I'm not there. Got the ring camera. I see they
left something. I get home.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
There's four little Jeep ducks sitting there waiting for me.
So her name's Nicole. She lives down the street from me, right?
She brought her three girls over. So I sent her
a message on Instagram. I said, hey, let me walk
back down. I got these C. Harper, Mikey, and Bob
Jeep ducks for you. She said, no, don't worry about it.
I'm coming right back. So her and the girls came
back over, and I gave them each one of our

(03:46):
Jeep ducks. Now, two of the girls picked the cowboy
Jeep duck.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
That's like yours with the cowboy hat. And then one
of them wanted like mine, like the purple duck. But, yes,
thank you to Nicole and her girls. You're getting home
deliveries now? I'm getting Jeep ducks just left at my
front door. You know, people in the neighborhood are just
walking Jeep ducks over to me now. So, yes, thank

(04:13):
you to our friends over at the C. Harper Auto Group.
Bobo the mailman, I don't know. Maybe we'll try to
find you. Maybe you'll have a prize on your Jeep
one day. Hey, the Pepsi machine that got stolen up
on Mount Washington, the Phantom Menace machine, it made the
news yesterday. So we'll get into all of this coming
up next here. It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 10 (04:30):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 11 (04:31):
96.1 KISS.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
The Mikey and Bob Podcast. Steelers. Steelers. Okay. I'm okay. Yeah.
Good to go. Steelers, of course, go. No, I'm not. No,
I'm not okay.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Stream the Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcasts. Hey, thank you for listening to
our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now, whatever you're listening on,
we appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (04:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
can hit that little talkback microphone.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Send us a message. You can send us a message about.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Previous shows, the latest show. something you want us to
cover on the show. Let us know where you're listening
from too.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Oh yeah. That's fun too.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Right.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
People in random places. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I hit that little talk back microphone and you can
send us a message and maybe you'll make the show. Man,
I wonder what I'm going to be doing tonight. I
don't know what I'm going to be doing later tonight,
this evening. You know, what I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Oh, my gosh. Stay away. Here we go.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Oh, it's a big one. This is the most important
preseason game, right? The third final one. Is it?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
I don't know. I mean, maybe for... Sure. Drew Aller
will hard.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Maybe.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I don't know. Either way.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I like the last preseason game because... There's some dudes
that will never put on a football helmet again that
are just going out there being like, let's make some
car crashes or I'm going to have to sell insurance.
That's why I like it, man. So Steelers out in
Buffalo later tonight. It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Listen,
the news has started to talk about the stolen Phantom

(06:17):
Menace Pepsi machine that's been up on Mount Washington next
to the fire station since 1999 now. But the news
is so behind on this story. Like, we know who
stole it. The guy told the entire city he was
going to steal it, and he just waited everybody out
for a couple months. The news doesn't even know the story. Like,

(06:37):
they're reporting on it being gone, but they have no
clue or filling anybody in on what may have happened. Like,
we were talking about this two and a half months
ago or whatever on the show. We united the city,
and we got to protect this Pepsi machine, which.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
We failed. We did. All right. This is from WPXI.

Speaker 12 (06:54):
It's been a hidden gem on Mount Washington for decades.
But some people are saying the Star Wars vending machine
is different now. So the Phantom Menace promotional vending machine
has sat outside Fire Station 27 on Virginia Avenue since 1999.
We spoke with some fans who say this is.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
A completely different machine.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
All right, now the guy they're going to talk to
is Adam Hames from Millville.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
The original here only had nine buttons as opposed to
the ten here.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
He knows.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
The change interface is different compared to the original.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
He knows.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
And the change for the quarters on the original is
on the left side as opposed to the right side.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yeah, this guy knows.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
The only problem is, dude, Adam, where were you when
we needed this protected?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Why wasn't he on patrol?

Speaker 3 (07:37):
By the way, I got sent a video from a
Mount Washington Facebook group where somebody was driving by it
when they're stealing the thing. Like, I saw it being stolen.
And it's like three guys, and they put, like, protective.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Stuff on the thing.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
And somebody's just like, oh, man, they must be working
on it.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
It's like, oh, my God. They stole it in broad day.

Speaker 11 (07:57):
Nobody stopped this.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Just let it happen. Let it walk away. We do
need to still figure out legally if we can steal
his Pepsi machine now, because that does sound like something
that now needs to happen. If he's going to take ours...
We should take his, right? Yeah, the one he replaced
it with, the hand-painted one.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Hilarious, by the way. And also, we should steal it.
And we should take it. Yeah, we should. I looked
it up yesterday, though. Okay.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I was really putting some brain power into this. Which,
I don't know if you needed to be, but sure. Dude,
it was like, They weigh like 600 to 900 pounds,
depending on what their insides look like.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah. Not loaded with cans or anything. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
They're that heavy, so I don't know what the hell
we're going to do. Okay, so we're not lifting that.
So we need a crew. We need to assemble a crew.
This is the heist we've been waiting for then, right?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Oh, man. I think so.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Hey, local news, you're so behind on this story. Hope
you show us love when we steal the one that's
up there now.

Speaker 10 (08:52):
96.1 Kids.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
The Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Slight chance of rain this morning. Should be pretty nice
the rest of the day, though. Highs in the low 80s.
It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Buccos lost
yesterday evening out in San Diego, 3-0. They've now been
shut out more than any team in the majors. They're
off today and then three-game series in St.

Speaker 13 (09:14):
Louis.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Tomorrow night, Jared Jones will be pitching for the Buccos.
It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Now, Bob,
do you remember yesterday we were reading from the Pittsburgh
Police scanner yesterday There was an incident at a laundromat.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Where somebody threw a bucket of urine. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
All right.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Let's get to this talkback message here. Talkback messages on
the show. Again, you can send them through the free
iHeartRadio app brought to us by One Team Media.

Speaker 14 (09:41):
Hey, Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
I got to tell you this story.

Speaker 15 (09:44):
The other day, my partner and I were going out
for a romantic date, but we had to swing by
and drop off some laundry first.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
You know, the Trey Laundromat in New Brighton.

Speaker 13 (09:52):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Anyways, when we got there, there was this really angry
guy there.

Speaker 16 (09:56):
And all of a sudden, he just dumps this massive
bucket of pee everywhere. It was huge.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
He must have been saving up. You're lying. Anyways, after
that trauma, I think I deserve Bruno Mars tickets. Oh,
come on. All that for Bruno. No, it's not.

Speaker 11 (10:10):
No, I don't even.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Know if she's telling the truth now, or she just
wants to go see Bruno Mars Saturday night at Accra.

Speaker 17 (10:16):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
She seemed too upbeat for that to be true. I
would imagine a full bucket of pee you would react
differently and wouldn't tell the story all up, beat and bubbly.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
See, I don't know, though.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Telling it to your partner, telling it to other family members, yes,
but you're telling it to your weird uncles, Mikey and Bob.
You might be a little excited to be like, how
was there when the guy threw a bucket of pee
at the laundromat? Where's my Bruno Mars tickets?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
No Bruno Mars tickets for you for that. Sorry. Can't
do that.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
By the way, Bob, let's get to what's happening on
the Pittsburgh police scanner. Again, it's just a couple of people.
They do a great job. They got their own website, pgh-scanner.com.
You can follow them on all their socials. It's time
to find out what's happening in and around our city.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
We're downtown. Okay. We're on Pen Ave.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
All right.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
We're at Meat and Potatoes.

Speaker 7 (11:05):
All right.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Caller said a woman's walking around Meat and Potatoes showing
off her Meat and Potatoes.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
No. There's no need for that.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
No, we don't need it. Meat and Potatoes out at
Meat and Potatoes. It's a wild move. Ma'am, it's just
the name of the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Put it away. Does it mean we need to see
it to serve it?

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Put your taters away, ma'am. We don't need to see
your meat, ma'am.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Hey, ma'am, you think everybody's at meat and potatoes to
see your meat and potatoes?

Speaker 11 (11:47):
Uh-uh, ma'am. Put them away.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
So, obviously, somebody called the cops.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
You drink too much, and then you're either way. Clothes
come off. Meat and potatoes. Meat and potatoes. That's what's
happening in and around our city.

Speaker 18 (12:04):
Ding!

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Hey, if you got something nice to say that could
maybe just turn somebody's day around, get some positivity on
the show, get on our free iHeartRadio app, send us
a say something nice message.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Everybody who does this week is qualified.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
We've already given away a few hundred dollar gift cards
to our friends at Gecko. So, you know, I mean,
Labor Day is going to be coming up next week.
You're going out of town, fuel up at Gecko. They
got all the drinks, all the snacks, all the made
to order food. Is that next weekend?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Are we in it?

Speaker 13 (12:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
All right.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Okay. Oh, boy.

Speaker 19 (12:37):
Uh-oh.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Watch out.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
We're a couple days away from somebody's birthday.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
For real?

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Not yours.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
September 3rd' s my birthday. That's next Thursday? A week away?

Speaker 10 (12:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
We're a week away. Let's get to a talkback message.
It's our buddy, George.

Speaker 20 (12:50):
Hey, what's going on, fellas? George here, catching up on
Wednesday morning's podcast still. Hey, man, if y'all serious about
this whole vending machine thing.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 20 (13:00):
I drive a box truck with a lift gate, dude.
Just say the word, man. Y'all take it easy.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
I love that we got some listeners that are down
to ride. Wait, it's got the automatic lift gate? So
we just got to get it to the curb or whatever? Yeah,
and then lift it right up there.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
So we really could go take that other Pepsi machine
if we wanted to. But see, I still think the
Pepsi machine, the Phantom Menace one up on Mount Washington,
I think the replaced one with the cartoon.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
It's kind of cool, too, though.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
I don't want to take it, but then again, if
we do take it, maybe the other guy will be like,
all right.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I'll bring the other one back. I want the old
one back, just because the old one was special, obviously.
I know.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
The new one, though, the painted one, is cool. It's
pretty awesome. Let's all be honest. It's not bad.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I want the painted one for our studio in here. Yeah. Well,
let's go steal it after the show, then.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I'm telling you, man, we got to get in touch
with our lawyer friends at Edgar Snyder and Associates. Legally,
what trouble could we get in if we get a
team together and go steal? I'm paying it over 1999
Star Wars Phantom Menace. I don't want to be the
bad guys, though, because then if we take it, then

(14:14):
people will be like, well, where'd it go?

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Where'd the other one go?

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Be like, well, we got it because it was just junk.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
All right. Well, we'll see how this plays out. We'll
figure it's not off the table, though. All right.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Right around seven o'clock. It's time to get to today
in freak show history. This is where we take you
back to a moment in the show that made us laugh,
made us smile. We got a request here for today
in Freak Show history. So let's get to this message.
The guy who.

Speaker 8 (14:42):
Just called in, Bobo the Mailman, you know what it
made me think about?

Speaker 15 (14:45):
Years and years ago when you guys did those skits
on the office ladies where you would.

Speaker 7 (14:51):
Type their conversation into a voice changer.

Speaker 8 (14:55):
And then the mailman would comment at the end and.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
Always give a piece of advice.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Yeah, hey.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
And I just started giggling and thinking about those old skits.
Maybe we can get a flashback of one of them.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 18 (15:05):
Have a good day, guys.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Bye. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
I mean, a lot of when we did the Office Monkeys,
me and Bob would just type back and forth, try
to make each other laugh in monkey voices.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
It was a weird computer program we had, all that stuff.
A lot of them were very specific for holidays.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
And things like that. But hold on.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Let me get an old Office Monkeys here real quick
for Freak Show History.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Today in Freak Show History.

Speaker 11 (15:27):
Today in Freak Show History.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
All right this one is office monkeys where we typed
back and forth as barb and mary and and hank
the mailman this is for barb's 47th birthday here let
me uh let me just get that one safe i
think years ago right oh yeah it's pretty old yeah.

Speaker 11 (15:51):
Good morning, Barb.

Speaker 16 (15:52):
Today is such a special day in the office because
it's your 47th birthday celebration. I have taken the liberty
to rent out the fourth floor conference room from noon
to 1.30 today so we can do it real big.
Barb's birthday celebration is going to be on some real P.

Speaker 18 (16:08):
Diddy s * * *, baby.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Alright, well, this is why we don't play old stuff
on the show. This is why anything that's older than
a couple years ain't going to make it.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
No, we're not doing that anymore. We're not doing that anymore.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Hey, I bet Barb had an interesting 47th birthday party, though, man.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
My gosh. At work on the fourth floor.

Speaker 13 (16:30):
Jeez.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
All right.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Had to throw the flag on ourselves there. Let me
just go ahead and hit the delete button. We will
never hear that again ever in the history of the show.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
All right.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
We'll do a round to say something nice coming up
next here.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Steelers tonight in Buffalo, which means tomorrow morning on the show.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
I'm sure we'll hear from head coach Mike McCarthy. He'll
be meowing.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
But also, oh, we'll get around to preseason Steelers Facebook comments.
Those are great, man. We'll do that tomorrow on the show.
You see the end of the Pro Bowl, like the
actual game? That's about time. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Wasn't it just flag football?

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Nah, they were doing like.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Challenges is that what it was things like yeah it's
been bad for a while now they're just done with
it so no pro bowl this year they still announce
the pro bowlers because there's like incentives and people's contracts
and everything but you know uh last few years it
hasn't been a big deal to be a pro bowler
because then people would just drop out of the game.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Be like nah i'm not playing in that and then they'd.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Be like all right well this guy's a pro bowler
now and then you'd get like uh a third string
quarterback that was randomly a pro bowler because nobody would,
nobody really wanted to play. Wasn't should Derek Sanders, the
Cleveland backup quarterback, the, the pro bowl, like quarterback last year,
whoever was available in a notable name. So yeah, pro
bowl's over, but we'll still name the pro bowlers. It's

(17:55):
Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. All this week,
if you send us a Say Something Nice message through
the free iHeartRadio app, we're just going to randomly give
out $ 100 GetGo gift cards to people because, listen, you

Speaker 3 (19:25):

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Oh, okay. Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 11 (19:49):
Say something nice.

Speaker 17 (19:50):
Nice to the gentleman that does the 12 days of
mikey and bob.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Oh man what uh what a pull here yeah there's
a guy every year for like i don't know past
decade he uh every holiday season he does it 12
days of mikey and bob's mark right Yeah, Mark, with
things that are notable from our show, like Jeep Ducks
might be on this year's 12 Days of Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Wow, a shout-out at the end of August for him.

Speaker 22 (20:16):
For some reason, I was thinking about him the other day,
and I'm really excited to hear what he has to
offer us this year.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I'm really hoping for a... You know, and five Mike
McCarthy meows. Oh.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
Along with some other things.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I'm super, super pumped.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (20:31):
That's it.

Speaker 11 (20:32):
Love you. Okay. Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Say something nice.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
Five Mike McCarthy meows would be pretty good.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
It would.

Speaker 13 (20:43):
It would.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
As we know, Mike McCarthy is a super yinzer, and
when he says, you know, it sounds like a meow.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Meow, meow, meow.

Speaker 23 (20:49):

Can't wait.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Steelers tonight in Buffalo. Facebook comments on the show tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
96.1. Let's get to this talkback message brought to us
by The Pavement Group.

Speaker 9 (21:08):
Hey, guys.

Speaker 12 (21:08):
So I'm finishing up Wednesday's podcast, and you're talking about, like,
the iHeart show, and, like, you.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Started singing, like, the Sierra songs and stuff.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Yeah, Sierra is playing her iHeartRadio music festival now, too.
I mean, just a bunch of artists, BTS and Cardi B,
Benson Boone, Snoop Dogg, and Zara Larson, and a lot more.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
That's coming up in a couple weeks out in Vegas, yeah.
Excuse me.

Speaker 6 (21:30):
And then all of a sudden it dawned on me, like,
I blocked it out of my brain, traumatic episode or something.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Frickin' Russell Wilson used to be our quarterback. I completely forgot. Oh,
my God.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (21:43):
Love you guys.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
What a time that was. I kind of forgot that, too.
Wild time. I saw a graphic yesterday that was the
Steelers starting quarterback every season since Ben.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Yeah. It'll work. It's not a great– No, we haven't
figured it out yet.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
No, no.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
It's not great. There's a Justin Fields year in there,
you know. It's– Fields and Wilson were the same year.
They just traded back and forth, right? Yeah, I think
there was one year where Dennis Dixon started. It was
a weird graphic I saw.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
Where did Dennis Dixon start? Yeah, I think so. It's
Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Now, a lot of people in the city are buzzing
about the stolen Star Wars Pepsi vending machine up on
Mount Washington. The Phantom Menace one that's been there since 1999. Now,
we covered this a couple months ago on the show.
There's a guy online. He's got a million followers. He
likes to steal big things that aren't stealable. His name's
Braden Days. Talked about this on the show. The guy

(22:41):
stole the Phantom Menace machine.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Well, how do you know that? He sent me a picture.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Yeah, Mike.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
He sent me a picture. Mike saw through. We know
who stole it. But he replaced it.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
With another vending machine that he painted the Phantom Menace
graphic on.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
So now we're.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Thinking, well, if he just set that vending machine there,
it's not like... I mean, he owns it kind of,
but he just left it on the street. It's not working. Like,
it's not functional.

Speaker 10 (23:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Should we just go take it back? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
So maybe we're assembling a crew here. I'm not saying
we are, but maybe we are. All right, let's get
to this.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yo, Mikey and Bob. Yeah. I don't understand.

Speaker 18 (23:27):
How this guy can just take things and get away
with it legally. Maybe it's a blind spot for me.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Hey, listen, I reached out to Edgar Snyder Associates. We
got to figure out the legalities of what happened here.
Because in my mind, the one that he left behind
is leaving trash on the curb. Well, yeah, because that
one doesn't belong to the fire station right there or anything.
like that like he stole the one that own was
owned by someone else but his don't care about yours

(23:56):
bud we'll just take that is.

Speaker 18 (23:57):
It do you only get fined and is he making
enough money from these videos to pay for the fines
and not care like or eventually are you gonna get
arrested i mean he's filming yeah his video proof of
himself doing yeah see.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
And then the problem is he's gonna put the video
out of how he pulled it off and then everybody's
gonna share the video and it's gonna get like two
million views and then he's gonna get money off of
that and Yeah, I mean, the video's going to be great,
how he pulled it off, because in my head, it's
impossible almost.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Yeah, it's going to be a good video. All right,
let's get to another message here.

Speaker 14 (24:29):
Good morning, Mikey and Bob. It's a toilet T-Rex.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Hey, toilet T-Rex!

Speaker 14 (24:33):
I would like to be a part of the Pepsi
vending machine heist.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Okay, all right. I don't know if we should be
doing the show on this now.

Speaker 14 (24:39):
I don't know what I could do, because... Racking Tim
has to be the getaway driver.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Yeah, well, I think we've established that before when we
were thinking about stealing the giant inflatable rubber duck from Idlewild,
you know, a couple summers ago.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 14 (24:52):
But this is similar to when we were playing the
40-foot duck hike from Idlewild.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yeah, same thing.

Speaker 14 (24:57):
Love you and have a good day. Bye-bye.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Yeah, we were joking about stealing the rubber duck. Not
sure if we're joking about the Pepsi machine here.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
I mean, George, you know.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Long-time listener of our show, the Y'all Take It Easy guy,
he has a box truck for us.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah, I mean, George sent us a message.

Speaker 11 (25:12):
He's ready to ride.

Speaker 20 (25:13):
Hey, what's going on, fellas? George here, catching up on
Wednesday morning's podcast still. Hey, man, if y'all serious about
this whole vending machine thing, I'd drive a box truck
with a lift gate, dude.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Just say the word, man.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Y'all take it easy.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
I'm telling you, man. George is ready to ride.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
We've got to figure out legally how much trouble we
can all get in. George might not be worried about
going to jail, but I'd feel bad if we all
got arrested. We can't be planning felonies out on this show.
I don't think we can. What if we put Toilet
T-Rex in one of those inflatable child T-Rex costumes? It's
just like a distraction piece, just in case things got

(25:54):
hairy out there. Okay, now we're starting to think of
some good ideas here. We got to figure out if
legally this is a thing. Because we can't be planning
out heists like this on the show. Let me tell you,
we were joking about the rubber duck at Idlewild, though.
I'm not so sure we're joking about the Pepsi machine.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
We might end up with this.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
Bruno Mars is going to be one of the biggest
shows of the year. It's happening Saturday at Accrisher. It's
Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. If you miss
any live show, get our Mikey and Bob podcast brought
to us by the C.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Harper Auto Group.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Also, C. Harper gave us vehicles to drive around. Bob's
in a white Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. I'm in a
purple Jeep Gladiator, and we got Jeep ducks.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
We do got ducks. So if you see us out, if.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
You're driving a Jeep, we'll have a Mikey and Bob C.
Harper Jeep duck for you. Now, new music usually comes
out on Fridays. There was a report that Bob found.
This is from the ABC station out in L.A., And
this is just one of those stories that the news
like teases and goes, could new music lead to more death?

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Is new music killing people?

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Right.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
And then this is the story. Like, you got to
watch the news and start like. Thinking for yourself and going, wait,
wait a minute, this can't be a real thing, right?

Speaker 19 (27:32):
New album releases are a huge driver for the music industry,
but be careful driving while jamming to your favorite artists.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Be careful driving while jamming. No self-cultivation. Oh, my God,
I am no self-cultivation. I'm listening to my favorite artists.

Speaker 11 (27:47):
I'm jamming so hard to new music. I'm going to
hit the railing.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Why?

Speaker 11 (27:52):
Favorite artists.

Speaker 19 (27:53):
A new study shows traffic deaths surge up to 15%
on days major.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Albums are released.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
Okay, now hold on. This is why I'm going to
tell you this is all BS, right? New music drops
on Friday. Traffic accidents, whatever, increased 15%. they don't realize
that it's friday oh there's also yeah more people traveling
on a friday yeah like not morning commute but more
people like going away for the weekend on the roads

(28:19):
like traveling longer distances it's so stupid they're not jamming
so much right just.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Oh my god i jammed to death Okay, but listen,
because they're going to call out some artists here.

Speaker 19 (28:31):
Researchers looked at U.S. traffic fatalities on top music streaming
days from 2017 to 2022.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, but it's.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
Just like seeing traffic deaths increase 15% on Fridays. And
then how do you equate that to just new music?
Because new music comes out. It must be the music.

Speaker 19 (28:47):
The data showed a spike in deadly crashes when artists
such as Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Oh, my God. Taylor Swift did it.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Gee, I'm not safe for another Taylor album to drop here. Drake.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 11 (28:59):
And he dropped three last time?

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Oh, no.

Speaker 11 (29:02):
How did we survive?

Speaker 19 (29:03):
Bad Bunny and Kendrick.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Lamar dropped new albums.

Speaker 11 (29:06):
Geez.

Speaker 19 (29:07):
The author notes tens of millions of people reach for
their phones to stream.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Those big releases. Yeah, but also it's Fridays.

Speaker 19 (29:12):
The spike was more pronounced for young drivers, sober drivers,
and drivers.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
We're alone in the car.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
Sometimes you just got to watch something like that on
the news and go, man, Taylor, Drake and Kendrick and
Bad Bunny blood on your hand.

Speaker 13 (29:27):
Really?

Speaker 3 (29:27):
A study was done over years and said, yeah, accidents
are 15 percent more when new music comes out. But
then you think, oh, new music comes out on Fridays.
So really, they're only saying, well, yeah, there's more traffic accidents.
on Fridays than there are any other days. If Taylor
drops a surprise album, we might have to get a
car service back and forth to work for at least
a week or two.

Speaker 11 (29:47):
I will drive full blast off a cliff!

Speaker 3 (29:52):
If you miss any of the live show, you can
always get caught up with our Mikey and Bob podcast
on the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by the C.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Harper Auto Group. Let's get to another talkback message here.

Speaker 22 (30:01):
I'm listening to the podcast from yesterday. And, you know,
you guys, you guys gave me a run for my
money there. I'm a teacher. It's my first week back.
Fourth day driving into work. And Dolly Parton died.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 22 (30:15):
Tim Curry died.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 22 (30:16):
And you guys sounded like you were insane. I was
about to just break down in tears. I was like,
I can't do this.

Speaker 10 (30:23):
Sorry.

Speaker 22 (30:23):
And then it got fixed. Thank God. All right. Have
a good day. Happy birthday, Bob.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Not Bob's birthday today. That's New Year's Day.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yeah, yesterday, the start of our show or our podcast
was weird. We had no idea why it happened, but
our voices were slowed down like we used to do
with Coach Tomlin. It made us sound very sensual. Something
glitched in the system. We don't know how it happened,
but it was only for one segment, and then we
got the show back together. But here, this is what
it sounds like. Bob, what are you looking at over

(30:53):
there on Facebook Marketplace?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Right now?

Speaker 13 (30:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
A six-foot-tall Steeler's Nutcracker. Okay, where is there a... I've
seen Steeler's Nutcrackers before, but a six-foot-tall Steeler's Nutcracker? You've
never seen a Nutcracker like this, bud. Oh, my God.
Cracking nuts for the black and gold. Elwood City. Oh,

(31:19):
my gosh.

Speaker 10 (31:20):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Hand-painted. Ugh.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Six foot tall. Does this look like it's team licensed
or does this look like it's handcrafted?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Absolutely not team licensed. Oh, man.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
I guess you put this on your porch.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
It don't matter where you put it. You put it
up on top of the roof like it's a weather vane, man.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
A six foot tall nutcracker? Oh, my gosh. To greet
the neighborhood?

Speaker 18 (31:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Dude, it's got to be dazzled football by its feet.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 13 (31:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Does it have the Nutcracker face or does it have
like Coach Cower's face or like Steely McBean's face? It's
got the Nutcracker face. It's got a big bushy stash.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
How much?

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Well, it's hand painted, so it's, yeah, it's art. This
is beautiful. Six foot tall. What do you think? 200 bucks. 275.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I was close. I was in the ballpark.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
It's down, though. They marked it down, okay? I bet
we could get it for 200 if we offered it
to Elwood City.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
It started at 350.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
I love the Steelers, and I'm looking for a place
to stick my nuts.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
See, it's kind of funny when we change our voice,
isn't it?

Speaker 3 (32:44):
We got today's weird Florida story coming up next here
in a minute. First, let's get to another talkback message
here on 96.1 Kiss. It is Mikey and Bob. Talkback
messages brought to us by The Pavement Group.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Honestly, I don't know what's worse.

Speaker 19 (32:57):
The fact that we lost Dolly Parton and we lost
Tim Curry.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yeah, it hurts.

Speaker 10 (33:01):
And then we lost the vending machine.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Yeah, it's... Horrific week.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
Horrific week.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Horrific. That's all you can say. It's a lot. Two
wonderful humans, right?

Speaker 3 (33:13):
A lot of people loved and respected Dolly Parton and
Tim Curry. And then the vending machine, the Star Wars
one that's been on Mount Washington since 1999.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
It's gone. Somebody stole it. Phantom Menace machine. We know
who stole it. Nobody's doing anything about it.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
By the way, we will have a legal update coming
up around 825. Not on whether he did anything by
stealing the Phantom Menace, but Will we possibly be committing
a crime if we go steal his vending machine?

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Yeah. The painted one that he put out there.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
So we will get to that coming up next here
on the show around 825. Right now, though, Bob, time
to go down to Florida. Always weird things happening down
in the state of Florida. It's time for another Florida story.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Here we go!

Speaker 3 (34:00):
Attention it's time to travel to the sunshine state yes
it happened again.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
It's another florida story.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
All right down to florida we go uh florida deputy
arrested a man after uh.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
Stopping him on a red riding lawnmower yep i'll cruise
down the lawnmower again.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Yep a uh A lawnmower doesn't meet the safety requirements
to operate as a registered vehicle. Probably not street legal.
So the deputy sees a guy on the lawnmower and
just says, all right, I'm going to need to pull
this guy over here.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Out there cruising? Yeah. Deputy said that he smelled.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
A strong odor of marijuana coming from the guy that
was riding the lawnmower on the street.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
Usually when we get into these lawnmower stores, it's somebody
going to a liquor store or going to buy more beer. Yeah,
usually they have a drinking problem. Their license has been
taken away, and the store's right down the street, so
I can take a lawnmower. Sometimes they'll ride a horse
or something. I know my ride. Yeah, a lot of
people with drinking problems and they can't drive anymore will

(35:09):
find a way to get to that liquor store, even
if it takes a lawnmower.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
This guy just smells like weed, though. Okay.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
A man on a lawnmower admitted that he smoked some
weed earlier.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
And uh was.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
He cutting lawn or was he out cruising no he's
on the street okay he's going places he ain't cutting
nothing he's going places he told the deputy that uh
he had some other items that were down by his
feet but don't look down don't worry about those those
are mine don't don't look officer he told him that
uh i smoked a little weed and i'm having a
little party okay all right Out on the lawnmower by yourself?

(35:45):
What kind of party is this? Picking people up. Deputies
conducted a probable cause search and found not only marijuana,
a hypodermic needle.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Okay. And crystal meth.

Speaker 11 (36:01):
Oh, man.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
The Florida meth mower was out on the streets? Oh, man.

Speaker 19 (36:06):
Vroom!

Speaker 6 (36:06):
Vroom!

Speaker 9 (36:08):
Vroom!

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Vroom! Man, riding the Florida meth mower around.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Riding so dirty he faces multiple drug charges now.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
It is Florida making the show once again.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
All right, we're going to try to find out legally
if we can steal the Pepsi machine that's on Mount
Washington that the guy who stole the original one. Put
there in its place. We'll get to that coming up next. Also,
your chance to win a full trip to Vegas for
our iHeartRadio Music Festival and a chance at $ 1, 000. All
that coming up around 9, 10. It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
96.1.

Speaker 13 (36:40):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Isn't the view.

Speaker 10 (36:44):
Spectacular?

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Hey, let's get to Josh and Green Tree here. What's up, guys?

Speaker 18 (36:48):
It's Josh and Green Tree catching up on Wednesday's podcast. Man,
what a shame that guy took that thing. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
But.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Vending machine. I like Bob's idea. Let's... Rally the movies. Movies.

Speaker 18 (37:00):
Bob's got the truck.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
Yeah. You got the Jeep.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
You can chain it up and pull it off. I could.
And then we'll load it in Bob's truck.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 18 (37:09):
And we'll get it into your studio.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Well.

Speaker 18 (37:11):
Sounds like a plan to me. Let us know when
it's going down.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
All right.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Well, we have sort of an update here. It's Mikey
and Bob on 96.1 KISS. Now, we've been talking... And
this has been for months now because a couple months ago,
guy on the Internet, he's got over a million followers.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
He likes to steal things and then post it on
the Internet.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
He does video series with all these things that he
thinks things that aren't easy to steal. And he had
his sights set on the Phantom Menace Star Wars vending
machine that has been there.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
The Pepsi machine since 1999.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
It's like a weird Pittsburgh landmark, kind of like South
Side Burger King. You know, it's got like that lore
to it where people in Pittsburgh know. People on the internet,
some know.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
He said it months ago and then just kind of disappeared.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
And we didn't hear about him. And then this week
he took it. He waited. He waited and waited and
then took it.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
He took it and replaced it with another vending machine
that's a different vending machine. He has the original vending machine. Again,
I know this because he sent me a picture of
it from his Instagram account. He stole the vending machine.
In its place, in the exact location, is a hand-painted

(38:21):
vending machine he swapped it out with. So we wanted
to know legally, can we go steal his vending machine?
Not the original one, because we don't know where he's at.
We don't know where he took it. And he's from California,
so he could be up and out already, you know?

Speaker 20 (38:38):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
So we were wondering, well, can we just take the
one that he left behind? So we reached out to,
you know, some of our legal friends, good friends of
the show, Edgar Snyder and associates. Because in my head,
him dropping that there, he would think that's part of
the goof that, oh, I got one over on everybody.
And then I dropped off this one that's hand-painted, but

(39:00):
it's not the thing. So I'm like, in my head,
that's just. That's just junk sitting there. That's like somebody
throwing their trash out and it's just sitting on the
curb waiting to be taken. Now, I don't really need
to get into a word for word here legally what's
going on, Bob, but.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
We're probably looking at misdemeanors.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
So legally not the best idea.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Not.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
I mean, I i knew we couldn't steal the idle
wild duck when they had it but i thought this
one was up for the taking because it was just
left there by the guy who stole the original one yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
In my head this is just discarded this you know
where i think we should probably just stay away from
it legally not Our greatest idea.

Speaker 10 (39:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
Well, you know, this is why we talk things out.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Old Mike and Bob, when we first started, we would
have had that machine gone by noon yesterday.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
Like, honestly.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Old Mike and Bob would have assembled a crew and
went and got that machine.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
We're a little older, more mature now.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Not really looking to get police records at this point
in our life, okay?

Speaker 2 (40:12):
So, no.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
We also cannot encourage people to steal the vending machine
on our behalf.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
It'll most likely result in charges.

Speaker 3 (40:21):
Let's let this guy who stole the one, let's let
him get dealt with by the legal system and police
and everything, because obviously he has committed a crime.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
By the way, Corey O'Connor, what are we doing? I
don't know. It's on his watch.

Speaker 11 (40:35):
All these cameras around here now.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
Where's the cameras?

Speaker 11 (40:37):
I'm not washing.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
Where's the flock cameras? That's what I'm saying. You know,
I'm not for the flock cameras, but.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
If there's one thing that we need to stop and
can't forget, it's this.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
Prove to me the flock cameras are good. Show me
where that vending machine is.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Oh, man.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
Listen, if we're going to be surveilled everywhere we go now.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Use it for good.

Speaker 11 (40:59):
At least.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Get us the damn Phantom Menace Pepsi vending machine back.
Come on, Corey O'Connor. No update from the guy, right? Uh, no,
he hasn't posted a video out yet. Well, I guess
leave the other vending machine alone because it's, um, you
might get some charges if you drive.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
We've learned.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
It's the final preseason game for the black and gold tonight.
They're in Buffalo, their new fancy multi-billion dollar stadium. They got, uh,
We got up there, so we'll be reading some Steelers
Facebook comments on the show tomorrow. Yesterday, there was a
report from NFL Network's Mike Garofalo. It said the Steelers
haven't even made an offer to Joey Porter Jr. He's

(41:50):
just been sitting out. This doesn't seem good.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
No.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
And like we've said on the show for a long time,
the Steelers not getting a Joey Porter Jr. extension done
has only cost them tens of millions of dollars if
they plan on re-signing him because the market on cornerbacks
has gone through the roof. And the Steelers don't sign
people in season, so it's coming up to an end here.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
Right. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
So we'll see what happens. But season's getting closer. Final
preseason game tonight in Buffalo. Facebook comments from the Steelers
Facebook page on the show tomorrow morning.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
It's Mikey and Bob here on 96. One kiss, Bob.
It's time to say something.

Speaker 11 (42:32):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Good morning, guys. It's Plant Lady.

Speaker 11 (42:37):
Plant Lady!

Speaker 9 (42:38):
So just want to tell you, last week we moved
our daughter into school.

Speaker 5 (42:41):
Nice.

Speaker 9 (42:42):
And Bob, I absolutely listened to your advice to just
make it short, sweet, and simple.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
Get in and get out. So that made it a
lot easier.

Speaker 9 (42:49):
But I did want to say something nice about the
students up at W & J who were out there
in the rain getting everybody all moved in. They had
cheerleaders out there. I mean, it was pouring buckets, but
these kids busted their tails. In addition to the cheerleaders,
I think there was like a dance line team or
something like that. They were playing music on the side,

(43:10):
but they really, in spite of the rain, made it
a good experience. I just wanted to give them a
little shout out and tell them we appreciate them because
we didn't have to lift and carry anything.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
So have a great day, guys.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
All right, everybody at WNJ that made it nice for
the students coming in.

Speaker 5 (43:25):
Ooh, we got it.

Speaker 11 (43:28):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 19 (43:31):
Hi, this is Taylor, your buddy JoJo's wife.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
Hey.

Speaker 12 (43:34):
I just wanted to call in and say something nice.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
Uh-huh. Say something nice. Oh, you want to do it
a little bit.

Speaker 10 (43:40):
Ooh.

Speaker 11 (43:44):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 12 (43:47):
I just wanted to let my husband know that I am.

Speaker 16 (43:50):
So grateful that 38 years ago today, a 10-pound baby
Yinzer was born.

Speaker 7 (43:56):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Happy birthday, JoJo, and I hope you guys also have
a great day. Bye. That was very nice. My birthday, too.

Speaker 9 (44:04):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
That's New Year's Day. Were you a big baby? No,
I was premature.

Speaker 23 (44:10):
Really?

Speaker 1 (44:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't know you were premature. Yeah,
I think I was six weeks premature. Wow.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
What day were you born? Why don't you tell everybody
what day you were born? I mean, we can celebrate
any day. My birthday falls on, say it, January 1st.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
Oh, New Year's Day, huh? Boo!

Speaker 11 (44:34):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (44:38):
Let's get to another one. Hi, Mikey and Bob. It's Andrew.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Hi.

Speaker 24 (44:40):
I don't know if this counts as a say something
nice or not, but my sister is Steph who called
in last week and then again today on her birthday.
I just heard it on the podcast.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Okay.

Speaker 24 (44:49):
To confess that she's a serial killer.

Speaker 4 (44:50):
Okay.

Speaker 24 (44:51):
And I want to let you know.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
Wait, she confessed to us that she's a serial killer? Oh,
is it because she does the... Sock shoes? Yeah, sock shoe,
sock shoe, instead of sock, sock, shoe, shoe, yeah.

Speaker 24 (45:00):
I am not a serial killer. I put both socks
on before I put my shoes on.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Atta boy.

Speaker 24 (45:04):
And I usually actually have my socks on second after
my underwear.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
Well, yeah, I don't... You don't go socks before underwear.
Underwear is the first thing that goes on, right?

Speaker 1 (45:15):
Underwear, right? No, I put socks on before underwear.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Really?

Speaker 3 (45:19):
Are you just sitting on the bed naked and then
putting socks on?

Speaker 1 (45:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (45:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
All right. Let me close my eyes.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
I've never thought about that before. A lot more flexible
than I thought he was.

Speaker 9 (45:35):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
Yeah, I put my socks on before my underwear. See,
I would just be worried about, like... Worried about what? Well,
my father-in-law coming into my bedroom and being like, hey,
can I have soup?

Speaker 24 (45:47):
But I do also want to mention, I am younger,
so I always have a crazy side in her, so
I'm not surprised that she's a serial killer. And she
just graduated pharmacy.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
To school.

Speaker 24 (45:55):
Passed all of her additional tests, so that means she's
board certified in her parties this weekend, so that's what
I wanted to give her a shout out for. But
I also have to shout out to my girlfriend whose
birthday is the same day, Emily, and she is a
nurse at Shady Side, so she doesn't hear it enough
how great she is because she tells me stories about
what she deals with on a daily basis, and there's
no way I could do what she does. Last but
not least, sorry, Bob. You can't have the same birthday

(46:15):
as my sister and my girlfriend, even though she already
wished you a happy birthday, too.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
I will not.

Speaker 24 (46:20):
I'm with you, Mikey. Have a good one, boys.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
Hey, my birthday's in a week from today. You are
a week away.

Speaker 11 (46:29):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
All right.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
You send us a say something nice message today or tomorrow,
and we'll get you qualified to win.

Speaker 1 (46:39):
A $ 100 get go gift card.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
So, you know, we got Labor Day weekend and my
birthday coming up like next weekend. and you're going out
of town, maybe you want to fuel up, get some gas,
get some snacks, get some drinks. Maybe you just want
some treats for yourself. Yeah, not wrong with a $ 100
gift card for treats at get-go. So send us a
Say Something Nice message this week, and you are entered
to win. Now, coming up around 9-10, it is your

(47:02):
chance to win a full trip to Vegas. Tickets, airfare,
hotel for both nights of our iHeartRadio Music Festival, and
$ 1, 000 to spend is coming up around 9-10.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
96 Long Hits!

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Woo!

Speaker 1 (47:14):
The Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Bruno Mars, Saturday at Accrisher. It's been sold out for
a while. Resale market's not great. It's going to cost
you a couple hundred bucks even to sit up top
in the 500s.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
Yeah, they're expensive.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Bruno Mars, Saturday at Accrisher. It's Mikey and Bob here
on 96.1 KISS. Now, coming up next on the show,
we're going to give you a chance to win not
only $ 1, 000, but a full trip to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
Airfare, hotel.

Speaker 3 (47:42):
everything taken care of, and tickets to both nights of
our iHeartRadio Music Festival. That will be coming up next
here on 96.1 KISS. Right now, though, Bob, Steelers. Steelers
are on tonight, of course. They're in Buffalo for the
final preseason game. Of course, we've gotten to the point
here where everybody's like, oh, season's starting soon. Might want

(48:07):
to see Joey Porter Jr. play football for the Steelers
this year since, you know, he's obviously grown up with
the team with his dad playing linebacker. I mean, I
know we're all distracted by who's the four quarterback or
three quarterbacks or who's staying, who's going.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
But the Joey.

Speaker 3 (48:23):
porter jr thing's kind of the biggest thing that's still
out there yeah it's a big thing you don't want
to start the season without this guy so let's.

Speaker 1 (48:30):
Get to debo and joe here You know what? They
do a damn good job.

Speaker 3 (48:35):
Deebo and Joe on their podcast, Deebo and Joe Show,
they were talking about Joey Porter Jr.

Speaker 5 (48:40):
I would think that you would offer something, and the
fact that you haven't would make me assume how you
feel about me, because I know the players believe he
has value.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
You know what? I don't know what I'm doing right here.
I'm sitting. I know.

Speaker 3 (48:56):
Listen, we're playing clips from James Harrison. Milk the Debo.
And Joe Hayden's podcast. And we're not playing our proper
milking music because I'll tell you what right now.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
We are milking that content.

Speaker 3 (49:09):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 11 (49:13):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
All right. Again, Devo and Joe talking about Joey Porter Jr.

Speaker 5 (49:20):
You got Patrick McQueen who also said, hey, I got
my money.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
I can only be happy if Joey gets his money.
Did he call him Patrick McQueen?

Speaker 4 (49:28):
He did.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
Yes, he did.

Speaker 11 (49:31):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 1 (49:34):
The Steelers didn't make any offer. I am totally lost.

Speaker 5 (49:38):
If they need, okay, we need some more time to
see what he's doing or how he's going.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
We need to see him on the practice field. You've
seen him play for the last three years.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
Offer the man something. And if it's me, I'm not moving.

Speaker 5 (49:49):
Stepping foot until i at least have an offer on
the table.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
Yeah that's i guess the new thing coming out is
that steelers haven't even offered him a deal at all
you know what.

Speaker 1 (49:59):
And it actually how do i say this without.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Saying oh man whoa say it james harrison say watch
out debo don't do it Say the thing.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
How can I say this without saying it? All things
got to hit when you're trying to get the highest paid.
And you kind of got to understand that, too. And
ain't even the highest paid. I just want to say something.
Say it. Say it. Say it. Say it. Come on.
I'm not saying I know the number.

Speaker 11 (50:27):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 1 (50:28):
He knows the number. How's he going to say the thing? Well,
I'm not saying it.

Speaker 3 (50:33):
McCarthy, Omar, every Rooney in western Pennsylvania called James Harrison,
called Debo right now.

Speaker 11 (50:39):
He's not saying it, but he's saying it.

Speaker 1 (50:42):
He knows the number. That nephew would like to be. Oh,
my gosh. Don't talk to his agent anymore. Talk to Debo.
Debo's got it. Talk to Debo. I know the Steelers
damn so don't know because they ain't talking.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
Yeah, the Steelers don't know how much he wants. Joey
Porter Jr. apparently knows how much he wants, and somehow
Debo knows how much Joey Porter Jr. wants, right, because
that's nephew. So somebody needs to call Debo and be like, hey,
we haven't talked to him. What's his number?

Speaker 5 (51:09):
There's 31 other businesses out there because now this.

Speaker 1 (51:13):
Is a business situation. 1,000%.

Speaker 5 (51:15):
And I'm sure they would love to do business with Nick.

Speaker 1 (51:19):
Show me something. You don't show me nothing that tells
me I'm nothing.

Speaker 3 (51:22):
He's not lying. It's 31 other teams that probably could
use Joey Porter Jr. Steelers could definitely use him this year.
We'll see where this contract stuff ends up because he
deserves to be one of the, if not the highest
paid cornerback in the league. And the Steelers reportedly haven't
even offered him anything yet. And Debo knows the number
he'll take.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
He knows the number.

Speaker 3 (51:43):
Make sure you listen to the Debo and Joe podcast.
He knows the number.

Speaker 11 (51:48):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 1 (51:52):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 3 (51:57):
Hey, Taylor Swift gets the beginning of August. So when
like it's August 1st, you know, we play Taylor Swift, August.

Speaker 7 (52:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Salt air in the rust on your door.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
But now we're at the end of August, which is
the first song on Noah Khan's last album.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
So Noah Khan gets the end of August now. Ending
of August, the bugs are all starting to die. Noah
Khan makes some depressing music. Yeah. I love it. All right.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
We got a chance for you to win $ 1, 000 at
a full trip to go see our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
That's coming up in just a couple weekends out in Vegas.
Right now, though, Bob, I didn't think we were going
to go back to this. I thought as a show,
as a community, we were past this. But I must
take everyone back to the message we got a while back.

(52:53):
about the lady whose man sits on the porcelain toilet
and lifts up both toilet seats.

Speaker 14 (53:02):
Recently found out the guy that I'm dating.

Speaker 7 (53:05):
Is a bull sitter.

Speaker 3 (53:06):
Yeah, a bull sitter. Now, our show is just sort
of all over the place. Yeah, sure, of course, we
do a live show, but also a lot of people
are getting caught up on the podcast. So there's people
learning about bull sitters all over the place in different podcasts,
different shows and everything. But let's get to our friend
Christina here. She just sent a talkback message in, brought
to us by One Team Media.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
Good morning, fellas.

Speaker 15 (53:28):
I don't know if you guys really realize how much
people think about the conversations that are on your show
day in and day out, all day long. The amount
of time that me and Shani have discussed sitting directly
on the toilet is, like, ridiculous. Yesterday we were talking
about going low so it would be a clean toilet
so we could sit down on them and see what.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
The draw is. Okay, now don't do it. Taking a
field trip to the toilet section? You can clean your
own toilet. I'd feel more comfortable. Like, don't go to, like,
Lowe's or something like that and wait. The display?

Speaker 3 (54:02):
Like, you're there, like, Pokemon cards are being released or something.
We got to be the first on the bowl. You
can't trust that because the workers are already in there.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
You know, I'm not sure if they're using the public
bathroom either. No, I was just talking about the displays, dude. Oh,
the display.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
No, you can't sit on the displays. You can't bare-ass
a display. And you got to bear acid if you
want to really feel how it feels, right?

Speaker 2 (54:23):
For real, yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:24):
Okay. Then we talked about getting fake.

Speaker 15 (54:27):
Balls so we could, like, hang them in there and see, like,
how low they go into the bowl.

Speaker 11 (54:32):
And then it.

Speaker 1 (54:33):
Just got even more ridiculous from there.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
I don't know if it gets more ridiculous than... I'm
not sure where else you go from there. Me and
Shani were hanging truck nuts at Lowe's.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
Also, the amount of times that I've pictured.

Speaker 15 (54:46):
mikey because i get that girl's message that she left
about he wouldn't need a squatty potty and i was.

Speaker 8 (54:51):
Like yeah you're right because he's so tall and then
you said you still would so now i'm like sitting
there trying to picture.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
How high your legs go and if it.

Speaker 8 (54:59):
Really would need a squatty potty or like legit you
are good to go oh god it's just endless ridiculous
thoughts yeah but i swear every time i'm in the
freaking bathroom i think of everything This.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
Is talked about on the show.

Speaker 15 (55:12):
Like I can't even go in for a nice, enjoyable,
like quick shot.

Speaker 8 (55:16):
I'm in there thinking like about what is talked on
the show.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Try it.

Speaker 10 (55:20):
Oh my God.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
Okay. Have a good day.

Speaker 4 (55:22):
Bye.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Okay. I guess just try it. We've ruined the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
Ruin the bathroom for Christina. The moment she steps in
the door, she thinks of us. Yeah. Or bathroom ghosts.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
Can't wait for somebody to make the Pittsburgh police scanner
about two ladies that got arrested at Lowe's.

Speaker 13 (55:40):
Why?

Speaker 3 (55:41):
They were hanging them in the display toilets. All right,
here's your chance to go to our iHeartRadio Music Festival
and win $ 1, 000 and a full trip to Vegas. Should
be pretty nice out today. Highs and low 80s. It's
Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. We've been, like,

(56:01):
unfortunately dealing with a lot of, like, really just close
listeners that we have that have lost pets recently, you know? Yeah.
Buddy Reed Nico, who listens to the show over in
the state of Washington. His dog Poe passed. Aunt Kaka
left us a message yesterday. She was all done because...
Her dog Dudley, you know, they had to put Dudley down.

Speaker 1 (56:25):
Yeah, but hold on. Our buddy Weed Nico is back here.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Hey, boys.

Speaker 13 (56:31):
Weed Nico from Washington. I just wanted to give a
quick shout to Aunt Kaka. I'm right here with you, girl.
Sorry you had to put your bulldog down. But we're
all right here with you. We love you and we're
here for you. In fact, speaking of here for.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
You, Oh, boy.

Speaker 4 (56:49):
I just picked up Poe from being cremated.

Speaker 3 (56:52):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 4 (56:52):
And I wanted to take my first bee with him.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
First bee?

Speaker 4 (56:56):
Now that he's back.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
A beer?

Speaker 4 (56:57):
I want to share that with you, too, Aunt Kaka.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
A bath?

Speaker 4 (57:00):
This one's for you and Poe.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
Aunt Kaka, too? Uh-oh. Oh, it's a long rip.

Speaker 19 (57:05):
Tribute.

Speaker 21 (57:06):
Here you go.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
Yeah, well, we call him Weed Nico for a reason.

Speaker 23 (57:12):
It's been rough all around, y'all.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Has been.

Speaker 23 (57:14):
Didn't Cornhole Joe lose his dog a little while back?

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Yeah, I think so, yeah.

Speaker 23 (57:18):
John from Trafford is going through it, too. I'm not
sure what you're going through, my friend, but Raccoon Tim.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
Raccoon Tim, man. I'll be right here with you. I've
been going through it.

Speaker 4 (57:27):
Might be time for the Golden Laugh Track, y'all.

Speaker 3 (57:29):
All right, well, there's been a lot of sadness lately,
and this is why we have something on the show
called the Golden Laugh Track.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
In the middle of that, he gave everybody a tribute bong.
He did.

Speaker 3 (57:40):
For not only his cremated dog, Poe, but for others
that have passed. Hey, I think our show just found
a new rainbow bridge. Yeah, right?

Speaker 1 (57:49):
When I, listen, we're establishing a rule right now.

Speaker 3 (57:53):
Anybody, if you lose a pet, you can request a
special Weed and Eco Tribune.

Speaker 18 (58:00):
All right.

Speaker 3 (58:03):
The golden laugh track is for times like this, okay?
When times are tough, yeah, yeah. When you just need it.
You need something to make you smile. Mike pooped his
pants one time. Trusted a fart. This is what it
sounded like.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
Did you poop your pants?

Speaker 4 (58:18):
No, you didn't.

Speaker 1 (58:19):
You didn't.

Speaker 10 (58:21):
No, you didn't.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
I did. You said you pooped your pants.

Speaker 11 (58:30):
You make it seem like I pooped your pants.

Speaker 10 (58:34):
You make it seem like I'm a child What else
is it? You pooped your pants.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
Did you throw your underwear away? I did What did
you do?

Speaker 3 (58:52):
I And for those people who aren't aware of this yet,
we're your official back-to-school station. We don't make the rules,
but like, it's just, it's been voted on by all
the schools. Every single school voted on it. Earned, not given.

(59:14):
It was us. Yep, official back-to-school station here. 96.1 KISS,
it's your friends Mike and Bob. Hey, everybody, Logan's back here.

Speaker 7 (59:21):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, Logan here. It's officially back-to-school week
for me, um, I work in a school as my
main job. And I think that the only thing that's
been getting me through this week is that I finally
get to be back on my commute live listening to
the show. So thank you guys for helping me get
through this first week of school.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
Yeah, I think maybe we should... Are you clapping?

Speaker 3 (59:45):
Welcome back to everybody, by the way. I feel like
we should almost do like a summer recap, you know?
Like the things that happened in our lives around the
show over the summer, just to update people who... But
then again, I start thinking about that, and I'm like,
I don't even know what we did yesterday on the show,
let alone last week.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
Could get our producer to do that, but, you know.
All right, hold on. Let's get to some Say Something
Nice right here.

Speaker 7 (01:00:08):
Ooh, wee!

Speaker 11 (01:00:11):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
All right, let's get to a say something nice message here.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Again, if you send a say something nice message this week,
you're qualified to win a $ 100 GetGo gift card. Our
friends over at GetGo, they got you for whatever you
need for your final summer road trip. If you're going
somewhere Labor Day weekend coming up next weekend. Food, gas, drinks,
all of it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
Get go.

Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
What's up, dude?

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Steve here. Hey, I just want to drop a quick... Ooh-wee.

Speaker 10 (01:00:40):
Whoa.

Speaker 11 (01:00:40):
Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Sing it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:42):
Sing it.

Speaker 11 (01:00:42):
Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Ooh-wee.

Speaker 11 (01:00:47):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 17 (01:00:50):
My wife and I went on our anniversary trip. this
past week, and I just want to shout out my
parents for taking us to and from the airport. My
dad picked us up Thursday morning at 4.20 in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
No coincidence. Took us to the airport.

Speaker 17 (01:01:02):
My mom picked us up on Tuesday, drove us home,
and there was already food waiting in the refrigerator, so
we didn't even have to think about it. So shout
out to them.

Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
They rock.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Oh, man.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
Fully stocked fridge is underrated. Coming home to that. I
feel like I can never get my fridge right.

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
I feel like there's always stuff in there that's expired,
and I'm like, ah.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
And then I don't want.

Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
To throw it in the trash because in the trash
is going to stink.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
I don't want to put it on garbage disposal. I
feel like.

Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
There's just a couple different kinds of people. My house
is definitely not one of those people that have everything
super organized in the kitchen with bins and stacked everywhere.
And you look at the fridge and it's all laid
out perfectly. Nah, it's not my house.

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
No, no, no. Let's get to another one here.

Speaker 11 (01:01:50):
Hey boys, wanted to send in an... Say something nice.

Speaker 10 (01:01:56):
Come on.

Speaker 4 (01:01:57):
Say something nice.

Speaker 3 (01:02:02):
Oh, so you wanted to say.

Speaker 11 (01:02:07):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
To my landlord.

Speaker 8 (01:02:11):
Landlord.

Speaker 13 (01:02:12):
Whoa.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Landlord.

Speaker 11 (01:02:13):
Why?

Speaker 15 (01:02:15):
Because today I locked myself out of my house.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
Not great.

Speaker 15 (01:02:19):
For an hour and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
Oh.

Speaker 13 (01:02:20):
When I was walking my dog.

Speaker 10 (01:02:22):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Wearing nothing but a muumuuu.

Speaker 4 (01:02:24):
Nothing underneath and slides.

Speaker 7 (01:02:27):
So thank you to my landlord who let me in.

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Moo-moo and slides. Nothing underneath.

Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
Not what you want to get locked out for an
hour and a half and have your landlord show up
and just be like, were you walking around in this?

Speaker 11 (01:02:39):
Is this what you were wearing?

Speaker 1 (01:02:41):
Hey, usually landlords, it's like a problem.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Did she thank you? Just taking the dog out for
a quick little quick walk.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
Ended up being about two hours.

Speaker 11 (01:02:54):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 3 (01:02:57):
Get your say something nice messages in today and tomorrow.
If you want your chance at a $ 100 get go
gift card.

Speaker 9 (01:03:03):
Why?

Speaker 3 (01:03:04):
Because we like to reward you for spreading positivity on
our show. Tonight, final preseason game for the Steelers. They'll
be in Buffalo. Of course, if you're not near a TV,
you can listen to it on the radio. Home of
the Pittsburgh Steelers. 102.5 DVE. Rocking the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
Home of the Rocking. Home of the Lurs. On the
radio side. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Mustache.

Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
So, yeah, Steelers, of course, tonight taking on the Bills
in Buffalo, which means tomorrow on the show.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
Sure, we'll talk about the game.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Like you talk about the game with your friends or anybody.

Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
Yeah, but it's a third preseason game.

Speaker 3 (01:03:51):
It's Steelers Facebook comments that it's really going to be
the fun of the show tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
That's what we want. That's what we need.

Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
We will get to that, of course, and hopefully something
happens with Joey Porter Jr. here soon because season's going
to start. That guy needs a new contract. It doesn't
sound like he's coming back to play any football this
year if he doesn't have a big, fat new deal.

Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
Let's see. What else?

Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
Pirates are off today. They got shut out yesterday. They're
in St. Louis tomorrow. They're coasting it in. They're coasting
it in. We're cruising to the end here at the Pirates.
You're going to have a couple more chances to try
to win a full trip to Vegas. Our iHeartRadio Music Festival,
just such a stacked lineup. 1, 10, and 5, 10
more chances for you to win a full trip to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
And $ 1, 000.

Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
Bob, I got to say thank you again to neighbor
Nicole from down the street. Walked over with her three
younger girls yesterday and dropped off Jeep ducks at my house.
Home delivery Jeep ducks. You got porch ducks, man. I
did get porch ducks. That aren't like the porch ducks
you dress up. They were just for my Jeep. But

(01:04:54):
they were the first people to get our Mikey and
Bob C. Harper Jeep ducks that they made us. Very exclusive.

Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
Special.

Speaker 5 (01:05:01):
It is.

Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
Speaking of our friends over at the Seaharper Auto Group,
they are the official sponsor of the Mikey and Bob podcast.
What would you like to name the podcast today, Bob? Meat, potatoes,
and a six-foot nutcracker. I feel like we've had some
really good podcast names lately, you know? Can I say

(01:05:24):
that again and you slow it down? Can we do
that trick?

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
Yeah, sure. Go ahead.

Speaker 10 (01:05:30):
Meat!

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. No,
I gotta hit another button. Alright, try again.

Speaker 20 (01:05:36):
Meat!

Speaker 10 (01:05:37):
Potatoes! And a six-foot nutcracker!

Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
Okay. You feel better now that you got that out
of your system, bud?

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
Okay. Hey, listen. By the way, this is not going
to become a thing.

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
We don't need to end every show with a sensual
Bob doing the podcast name.

Speaker 10 (01:05:57):
Meat!

Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
Potatoes! Just for today.

Speaker 10 (01:06:00):
And a six-foot nutcracker!

Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
Just something special for today. Something special. This isn't going
to be a thing going forward.

Speaker 11 (01:06:09):
No, never.

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Uh-uh. We don't have, like, running things that carry over
from show to show. We wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
Not like it's been Bob's birthday for almost nine months
straight now.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
Hey, thanks, man. All right, that's it. No, that wasn't
an official happy birthday. I just wished you. Have a
good day. Don't steal it. Listen to the podcast if
you missed anything. WKST FM Pittsburgh, 96.
