this like merch collab they're doing.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
The Facebook comments are out of control.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
But before that, we have another round of Facebook comments
coming up around six forty because somebody down in West
Virginia caught a record sunfish man state state record. It's
one of our favorite Facebook comments to read when West
Virginia has a fishing record broken.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
We will get to that around six forty.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Let's get to a talkback message brought to us by
One Team Media.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Hey boys, it's Jess.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
I'm catching up on the podcast and you guys were
playing one of the Mike McCarthy.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Interviews, and I have to say, I love you guys
just meowing in the background like it.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Packed me up the whole time. So I'm in agreement.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I don't think we need music to play behind him,
though I did think mail mix would be funny, you
guys me owing in the background.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
I absolutely love love you guys.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Happy birthday, Bob.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Well, it's not Bob's birthday today, that's that's New Year's Day.
I know somebody who's got a birthday coming up soon though. Yeah,
Mike McCarthy when he says, you know, it sounds like
he's me owing. It's it's a whole thing. He was
talking yesterday. Of course, one of the big things with
the Steelers right now is Joey Porter Junior. Like pretty
much got everybody else we need to sign. Joey Porter
Junior is not signed. He hasn't really been participating in

(05:54):
anything this year. Here was Mike McCarthy just talking about
the progress with Joey Porter Junior.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Gotta have my field this year.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Yeah, I think you know these things are you know,
I've always and I learned this in my my you know,
early years as a head coach, you have to separate
the business into football. You know, sometimes a seasier in others. Uh,
this is a challenge, you know, for for both Joey
and us because you know we're we're first year staff.
You know, we've seen him play. I'm compete against Joey.

(06:22):
I would love the opportunity to coach Joey Porter. I
know our defensive guys will love the opportunities. So you know,
we're at a pass right here, and that's and you
got to respect that.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, I gotta have Joey Porter Junior out there, and the.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Steelers haven't made this easier on themselves because while they
have been waiting to sign Joey Porter Junior and signing
everybody else, other cornerbacks have signed big money for ridiculous
like his price has gone up crazy in the past two.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Or three weeks to where the Steelers are.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Going to have to pay him like five to ten
more million than maybe they would have a couple of
weeks ago because the price went up on good cornermal.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Go aheadhim out there.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
So obviously everybody wants Joey Porter Junior back and we'll
see what happens with him and then you know, the
Steelers always have that policy if they don't really negotiate
during the season.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
So yeah, it's coming up.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah, if you're looking at the calendar there, we got
a little bit to sign Joey Porter Junior here, all right.
Speaking of the Steelers, the Steelers have a Disney Champion
collab where each team got a Disney character.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
We got Pete. He's a big cat. He's in a
lot of the goofy stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
We will read the Steelers Facebook comments about Pete the
Cat being the Steelers sort of Disney mascot.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, around seven to twenty five.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Up next, though, we have a round of West Virginia
record fish facebook comments. Somebody caught a big one down
in West Virginia in the local news facebook comments. They
got something to say the great all right, we'll get
to that next. It's Mikey Bobs.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 2 (08:02):

with chest hair scream the Mikey and Bob Podcast on
iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts. It's already been confirmed,
the votes have already been counted.

Speaker 1 (08:20):

We are your.

Speaker 2 (08:26):

do about it. I'll fish it us right here the place.
We're back to school. Yeah, welcome back kids, you know, teachers,
everybody that's got to go back to school today. You know,
next couple weeks everybody will be going back to school
here and uh yeah, we appreciate you tuning into the

(08:47):

the kids to school, but always remember, on the way
home from school can always get caught up with our
Mike and Bob podcast.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
If you miss any of the.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Show, Bob there was a there was a record fish
caught down in West Virginia. These are one of our
favorite Facebook comments to do. This happened in Sheet Lake.
Record breaker Robert Glover of Morgantown caught a nine point
seven to six inch pumpkin seed sunfish. Okay, I mean
like it's like a ten inch fish. It's not huge,

(09:21):
ben size big for a sunfish.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
They don't get that big.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Right, Yeah, So record sunfish caught down in uh Don
in West Virginia, and we read the local news facebook comments. Beware,
are you going to a very deep dark olias on
the internet.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
It's time for ninety six to one kiss facebook comments.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
A record pumpkin seed sunfish was caught down in West
Virginia at chat Lake. We're reading the Facebook comments here,
John K. I had an uncle Timmy. He only had
one hand. He was the best fisherman I have ever seen.
I was with him when I was about eight years old.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
He hooked the catfish and pulled them into the river.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
He held on to the rod, had strong and ended
up pulling that thing out of there. First of all,
that's a lie, Okay, it's like why you lied in
the Facebook comments?

Speaker 1 (10:21):
None of that happened. He got the strongest hand in
West Virginia.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
The only thing that was true about that was you
have an uncle Timmy who's got one hand. That was
the only true statement there. Again, the guy who caught
the record fished down West Virginia, Robert Glover of Morgantown
Joe Jay here in the Facebook comments, that's awesome. Congrats Robbie.
Oh yeah, what a great person he is. He stuck

(10:46):
up for people that couldn't stick up for themselves where
we were when we were in school together, and I
witnessed it. So be nice, people and be happy for Robbie.
You know what sounds like he's a nice guy. Like
he deserved the ji West Virginia fish, Robbie Brandon w
with all the chemicals in that waterways, I'm sure there
are fishing size of a single wide trailer down in

(11:06):
Cheat Lake.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
My uncle used to dive.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Up where the restaurants are now and always told us
there were catfishing there bigger than him.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
John R. Does everybody an uncle?

Speaker 7 (11:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Like that had some fishing tail. Oh yeah, man, John R.
Congrats to this man.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
You know this is a big fish because it looks
like this Robbie guy has paws for hands. Joseph c
the ones I caught in the late nineties and Nutter Fort.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Put that to shame.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Man.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
As a kid, I never realized I was catching what.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Could have been state record fish.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Again.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Some guy Don in Cheat Lake caught record sunfish.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
We're in the Facebook comments for your other uncles. Got
jump in the comments.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Uncle Daniel here, I would love to eat that fish.
Got my mouth watering. Okay, too nice for lat saw
pepper flower mix. Hit your iron skillets up. I use
pure lard to fry them in. Couple slices of wonderbread.
Fried him golden brown, put a little mail on it.
The sandwich fit for a king. Randy Randy sea here,

(12:17):
pumpkin sea, bluegill. We're just making up names for fish records.
Now well, I caught a record banana bread crappy. All right, man, listen,
just whyn't you let Robert have his record fish?

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Here?

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Uh Sasha k here come to Ohio. I catch him
bigger than that all the time, old day. And one
more here, Bill d free diver here? All right, Bill,
just saying some of the fish I saw while diving
in the rivers would leave you with a skin mark
in your pants if you ever reeled them in. All right,

(12:50):
fish so big, I put my pants reeling them in. Congratulations,
Robert Glover and Morgantown caught a record fish in cheap Lake. Hey,
thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,

It's sold out Bruno tickets for Saturday night around seven
thirty and nine thirty. This morning here on ninety six
to one Kiss, It's Mikey and Bob. You see the
lady who's got the lawsuit against Kennywood. Now, yeah, I
gotta be honest, I'm on her side. Man. Danielle Raddy
is demanding a jury trial, citing unfair trade practices, a

(13:59):
legend that Kennywood uses drip pricing. That's when the total
cost of Kennywood ticket isn't like revealed till the very end.
And she's basically saying that online a ticket is advertised
it's starting at thirty nine to ninety nine, which it
is impossible to buy a Kennywood ticket for that price

(14:21):
because then you add it to the cart and then
you get fees tacked on. She's saying, you're advertising it's
starting at thirty nine ninety nine. There's no ticket that
starts at thirty nine ninety nine because once you pay
for everything. No, she might win this, right, Yeah, she's
got other like people that are in this I guess lawsuit.

(14:44):
They're looking for damages of like fifty thousand dollars, you know,
not a big deal in anything, but yeah, sure I
get what she's saying. Get it right, Kennywood. Up front, you.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Go to check out, they're just sneaky service fees task is.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
They at a couple bucks here and there, And it's like, okay, yeah,
I hate when like businesses companies do that. So hey, Kenny,
would I hope you lose this one, all right, let's
get to today in Freak Show history. It's right around
seven o'clock. This is where we take you back to
a moment in the show that made us laugh, made
a smile, this one. It's it's always good when you

(15:18):
got somebody on the news describing something that's really not
something you see every day, like a guy described seeing
a mountain lion walking through his neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Here we go, let's get this history history.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
This was in Rochester, New York, just like a neighborhood setting.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
This guy saw damn mountain lion.

Speaker 8 (15:48):
I heard raul, I felt out our I know you
keep it pushing.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
I know that, man, that's all you need, right you
just you just know, like all right, this is the
perfect guy to describe a mountain lion walking through the neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
I thought, I see the people. I'll just see some
big just walking just right over here, right, everybody, boy,
it went right over here, I swear I promised him
right over there. Agent it's I just I just cut walk.
I've seen it, seen me see it. I've seen it,
seen me Like.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
This guy's got good mount lying like this is the
kind of guy that you want to see a mountain
lion walk through a neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
It has to describe it on the news. I'll just
I just cut walk. I've seen it, seen me see
it about like this bit. I like this. It's like
some people think it might be a mountain lion. Let's
go to Curtis, who does not know the dimensions of
a mount lying by about like this bit. Yeah, it was,
it was.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
It was just walking Slytherin like I don't know, man,
I don't know, man, walking like I don't know, man.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
I keep this bad right here. I'm gonna keep this
bad right here.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Man.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
That's the case I protect. Just I ain't going that
nothing happened to us. Not Okay, he's got like he's
got one of those little of them bad. It's like
a Little League nineteen nineties.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Little when d you get at the batting cage, right
It's just like I got that thang on me right here.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
So he has a he has an.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Aluminum bad waiting for the Rochester, New York mountain lion
to show itself again.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
It's still out here.

Speaker 9 (17:16):
It could be all heard one of these bushes or song,
you know, the mountain lion.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Wow, crawling.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Serious, that's the kind of guy you want to protect
the city from from mountain lions.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
By the way, speaking of.

Speaker 10 (17:29):
Mountain lions, some wild and decided to make Sweet Love
Wow share their beautiful song with the world.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
It's time for animal mating noises with Mikey and Bob.
All right, Curtis, here's the mating noises of a mountain lion. Yikes, guys,
sound like Curtis right.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Crawling. I mean, there might be mountain lion maiding going
on as a but he's.

Speaker 9 (18:00):
A wowr crawling, serious.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Serious.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Paul Stein's tonight pitching for the for the Buckos out
in San Diego. No clue what time the game ended
last night, but they're out on the West Coast, so
uh it was twelve innings last night. Pirates won three
to two nick Nozales with a twelve inning RBI single.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Pirates get the win. That had to be like two am.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
It's a late one. It's a it's a late one.
So they're at it again tonight. Paul Skeene's pitching for
the Buckos. It's Mikey and Bob here on ninety six
to one.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Case.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
We'll get to some Steelers Facebook comments coming up around
seven to twenty five and your chance at Bruno Mars
tickets coming up around seven thirty.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Right now, let's get to a talkback message again.

Speaker 2 (18:46):

you need to do is download our free iHeartRadio app
and just sit down a little microphone, send us a
talkback message about anything you can try to get on
the show. Talkback messages brought to us by One Team Media.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
I thought i'd share a story that maybe giggle. I've
been trying to for a while not to get my
husband to listen to you guys the show, because I
just tell him stuff all the time and he just
shakes his head like, thinking, I'm ridiculous I tell about
your show. I did play him a clip this weekend.
I was visiting my family and he brought up the
time that I accidentally pooped myself in a giant eagle.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
All right, now here we go. Now we're getting into it.
All right, that's.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Where I think I know where this has hattens. That's
where we're at now. Okay. I was with family this weekend.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
My husband brought up the time I pooped myself in
a giant eagle, and I.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Realized that I had never played him the clip for
you guys or for him of the day Mikey pooped
his pants on the show.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Okay, listen, this is about you pooping your pants a
giant eagle, not about today when I trusted a fart show.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
She's with her family and she's just like, if you
think that's funny, right, just wait.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
Yeah, he was laughing his past off, by the way,
which was funny, but it's good. Fast forward to Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
I don't know if I want to fast forward.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
My stomach decides to not like me again. I definitely
got stomach flu somehow, went to bed one night thought
I just might have to pass the gas. I my
husband will not stop laughing and blames it on me
playing that clip of Mikey pooping his pants on the show.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Wait a minute, don't your mind is not a thing.
I can't make pants.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
Two days prior to that, I played it for him
and he just thinks it's hilarious. He said, that's what
you get laughing and someone else pooping on the show,
and then you go and poop in the bed. He
thought it was hilarious. It is, and then I deserved it.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Yeah, all right, well listen, hey, we appreciate you sharing
clips of the show. You know, we always appreciate when
people listen to the show live, but also just liking
sharing clips of our show passing it to friends and family.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
That's just as good too.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
I love that she's like, hey, you should really listen
to these guys. Look, one of them poop their pants
on the show. Everybody's having a laugh. Yeah, next thing,
you know, forty eight hours later. Yeah, it's not so funny.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Remember e when you pooped in Giant Eagle, Now you
poop the bed.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Maybe you should stop listening to those guys.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Huh, subliminal pooping, dude, might be the thing. All right.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Steelers facebook comments about their Disney collaboration coming up around
seven to twenty five. Honestly, this is one of the
most underrated Steelers Facebook comments that doesn't have to do
with an actual game that we may ever do on
the show. This this is about to be an electric
roud of Steelers' Facebook comments.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
We'll get to that around seven twenty five.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Bruno Mars tickets, you're shot at that around seven thirty.
All right, real quick, let me explain this for people
who have not seen the Disney Steelers collaboration yet, because
this is a thing. Every NFL team has a Disney
character that's been collaborated with a bunch of merch with Champion.

(22:12):
It's a whole thing, and a lot of NFL teams
are like, why did we get this character?

Speaker 1 (22:17):
We wanted this character?

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Right, a lot of Steeler fans saying, hey, why do
we get like iron Man?

Speaker 1 (22:23):
You know, sure, we got Pete. We got Pete.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Pete's a big fat cat. He's in a lot of
goofy stuff. We yat Pete. We got Pete. We yeah, Petey,
we got Pete. Yeah, we got we got Pete. So
Pete is the Steelers like Disney character that's part of
this collab merch that they're doing, right, So uh yeah,
it's I mean, it's not a big deal. If you
don't like it, just don't buy the merch. But then
we read the Facebook comments, you go to a.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Very deep dark place on the internet. Everyone is a GM,
everyone is a coach. Everyone is going to get tweeted.
Everything sucks. It's time for Steelers Facebook comments.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
The Pittsburgh Steelers Disney Champion collaboration is Pete, the big
cat that's in some goofy stuff and everything Natalie as
coach Mike McCarthy's twin.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
All right, Listen, Pete from Greenfield kind of looks like it, Honestly.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Mary El, give me a TAZ Steelers shirt from the nineties,
not this crap.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I hell yeah, hell yeah. James m.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Iron Man was right there, Steelers iron Man, Come on.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Rich Zee. I'm pretty sure Pete's last name is McCarthy.
He just looks like him, Pete McCarthy, John C.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
I got a cousin named Pete. Okay, it kind of
looks like this dude. Too bad, My cousin Pete is
locked up in allegaty Connie jail right now, All right,
Joseph w This is easily one of the worst shirt
in the entire drop. Could have gone with iron Man
or Colossus, but we got Pete. The fact that he

(24:07):
is a solidly accurate representation of the average malienser only
makes it more insulting.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Listen, Man, Pete might be from Greenfield.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
It might be tracys here in the Steelers' Disney collab.
Facebook comments, Pete looks like he smells like beer farts.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Abby K.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Pete looks like every guy over forty five. I grew
up with in Greensburg. Man, listen, they nailed it.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Go ahead, my school reunion. You're looking around these a
bunch of Pete.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
They nailed the collab, they nailed our character.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
We're just mad that they nailed it. Robert J. Pete
never misses a fish fry during lent.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Jody asked, Pete looks like he loves Sar Crowton, Kabasi
Kellen C. Pete is who throws you out of Jack's
on the South Side after you dre twelve irons and
start becoming a problem.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Ronnie B. Pete looks like Taz's older brother with a
drinking problem. Larry T.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Pete drives a pickup truck and smells like cigarettes. Christina R.
I heard Pete got a lifetime ban at Tequila Cowboy Tyler.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Oh, Pete clogged.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
The parking lot porta potty at the last Steelers home game. Alie,
am still better than Steely McBean You a lot, baby?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Maybe? Oh Man. I gotta be honest.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
If we just got rid of Steely mcbeean and just
had Pete.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
I'd be okay with that. Pete's one of us, okay,
and one more.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Here again, we're reading Facebook comments. Because the Disney Steelers
collaboration with Champion. We got Pete the big cat, who's
you know and goofy stuff. Mike Gee, Pete looks like
the guy my aunt used to date in the nineties
of who.

Speaker 8 (25:53):
My mom made me call Uncle Ronnie.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
He's not really your uncle, but call him. Oh come hey,
Disney held it. He nailed it.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
We're only mad because they got it too perfect. All right,
here's your chance at Bruno Mars tickets for Saturday. Here's
your chance to win Bruno Mars tickets on ninety six

Some people are gonna be happy today, going, oh nice,
I've been waiting for this. Some people are gonna be
like no, and then some people are gonna be like,
who cares Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lotte. I mean, it's a
celebration for something. It's PSL season. It's a big day

(27:22):
for some people out there. Whether you like Starbucks or not,
or whether you like you know, your coffee from other places,
We're in it.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
It's Pumpkin Spice season. It is.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
It's you know, it's the end August. This is when
that happens. Pumpkin Beer's been out for a little while now,
is it too early?

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Why does this happen so early today? I don't know,
except today's the day though.

Speaker 11 (27:44):
If you're heading into the office and you got you know,
you and the gals the little treat on the way in, Yeah,
you could be the hero today.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
And there's a bunch of new pumpkin drinks and stuff
like that. So yeah, just no Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lote season.
El Langley.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Obviously, we have been talking about her incredible rise this year.
Her song Choosing Texas has been number one on the
Billboard Hot one hundred charts, and it is number one again,
which means Ella Langley Choosing Texas has now tied a
bar song Tipsy by Shaboozi an Old Town Road by

(28:20):
Lil naz X nineteen weeks at number one on the
Billboard Hot one hunter charts. It is tied now for
the longest run ever, only behind Mariah Carey All I
Want for Christmas Is You at twenty two weeks.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
But that's like a song of the year, Like it's
that all damn year. Yeah. I saw Drake was at
her concert this past weekend and I was just thinking
my head, just like Drake, just stay you stay away
from her.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Hey, listen, get away from the nice country girl. Okay, Greg,
we're all lfellas out here. Okay, you stay away from her. Man,
you stay away, all right, Drake. And by the way,
do you see Casey muskgraves.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Casey Musk is awesome.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Casey musgrames at a point in her concert.

Speaker 12 (29:04):
You've seen this, right, Yeah, she sits and like gets
lifted in the air and is singing on a giant
pair of like shiny testicles.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
It looks like silver truck nuts. At some point on
the planting of her concert, you know, they were sitting
in like a boardroom or something on a call with everybody.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
She's just like, I got an idea. You ever seen
truck nuts? Casey, what do you want? Like wildest dreams?
You're big enough, Now what do you want? She's like, well, dazzling,
I've always wanted to sing like sitting on something over
the crowd. You know, can we do truck nuts? Hell?

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Yeah we can? And congratulations Della Langley.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Though she's on an incredible run with a lot of
her songs, including choosing Texas. Kate Hudson says she's working
on a Knew How to Lose a Guy in Ten
Days sequel over twenty years when that was released. We
don't really do romantic comedies too much anymore.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Let me tell you. Growing up in like the nineties, dude,
that was. I mean, I remember when I went on
a date with my first girlfriend. We went this is not.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
A whole We went and saw You've Got Mail with
Tom Hanks in Uh.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Meg Ran, Meg Meg Ran, Yeah, you've got mailed. Dude.
It was like a generic sleepless in Seattle. Dude, this
will probably work though, this will one work. Nostalgia.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Yeah, so they get Matthew McConaughey back on it with
Kate Hudson. They they might be uh cooking with some
nostalgia there. So we'll see where that goes. And then
did you see what happened in Ohio? The owner of
the San Francisco forty nine ers, Jed York.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
He's a billionaire.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yes, I mean anybody who owns an NFL team, you're
a multi billionaire at this point because you know your
team's worth multi billionaire.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
He's from Youngstown.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
He was in Ohio, East Palestine and got caught up
in a prostitution ring. Not a great look for him.
The forts he was at a trailer park. He was,
what what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Dude? I think the story said one hundred and forty
dollars was what I mean, it's just there worth billions
of dollars. Hey, I'm in town. Hey, when I know
when I'm in town, I know where to go. Listen.
He knows all local hotspots.

Speaker 8 (31:36):
Man.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
You get stuff from.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
A trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio that you can't
get out in San Francisco. Okay, really weird story that
the owner of the forty nine Ers gets caught in
a prostitution ring in Ohio. So guess what's gonna happen
to him? I don't know what happened to Robert Kraft. Nothing,
probably nothing, all right. We will have three new ur

(32:00):

sun and clouds, highs in the upper seventies.

Speaker 1 (32:35):

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Steelers got their final preseason game coming up Thursday night

see how uh to see how Max performed.

Speaker 11 (33:11):

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah, just got to uh figure out Joey Porter Junior now.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Right, Uh yeah, uh.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Jalen Ramsey was talking about Joey Porter Junior obviously who
were waiting on to sign a big fat deal. But man,
he's gonna cost a lot of money, and I just
you know, are the Steelers gonna do it? Here's Jalen
Ramsey talking about Joey Porter junior situation.

Speaker 12 (34:37):
I'm overly until corner out Joys compensated for man our
valued was part of this second day anybody part of
his defensive team.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Yeah, Jalen Ramsey's right, Joey Porter needs to be compensated.
Easy for Jalen Ramsey to say that. I remember when
he played for Jacksonville. One camp he showed up with
an Adidas Brins truck because his contract was so massive.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Very easy to say that.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
You're in Jpj's corner when you've showed up the camp
in a Brinks truck.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Before we need the whole secondary out there. They gotta
pay Joe Porter.

Speaker 8 (35:12):
And we need to got some other guys that are
out as well, so the secondary.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Have not been out there to the other yet.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
I mean, you gotta pay him, you gotta pay him.
His dad used to play for the team. He's been
around the team his whole life. He's a porter.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
He went to Penn Stay and he's good, you know.
And he's good.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
He's great, right, and he's good. And if we don't
pay him, somebody else is gonna pay him.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
No moul molt melt. The Steelers cut down, milkelp Milk.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
The Steelers cut down all right. So we got Max back,
we got Jalen back. Still waiting on Joey Porter Junior.
See if they can get a deal done before the
start of the season. It'll be the Steelers in Buffalo
taking on the bills at their brand new, fancy two
billion dollars stadium.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
I need to give a huge shout out to don Okay.

Speaker 7 (38:00):
They ran a promotion in March. If you bought twenty
five Munchkins, you got a ring box with a wedding
cake munchkin in it.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Wedding cake munchkin. That's it. I think they did a
wedding cake flavor. And I think they were doing a
promo where you got like a duncan you know, wedding
Duncan wedding ring box, ring box, and then they put
one of the Munkins in the ring box proposed with
a Mounchkins wedding cake.

Speaker 7 (38:24):
Okay, all right, it's been an ongoing joke since then.
I'd open that box and always see a donut.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (38:30):
And on August eleventh at the beach, my doughnut turned
into a ring and my boyfriend proposed, Wow, big wedding.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
Twenty twenty eighth.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
Twenty twenty eight. Love is real, Love is real. Say
something nice, say something nice. Let's get to another one here.

Speaker 15 (38:50):
Tony boys, hopings are doing well. I'm a food pantry
director out in Butler, and I just want of the
ooh yeah, say something nice, say something nice.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
Okay, all right, say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 15 (39:08):
To anybody who's involved with any types of food pantry distribution.
That could be directors, that could be food pantry managers,
that could be volunteers, that could just be anybody that
supports a food pantry. It's really important to be able
to have that for so many people that are in need.
So I just wanted to say that to anybody who's
involved with that.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Oh yeah, say something nice, Say something nice.

Speaker 14 (39:32):
All right?

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Keep sending your say something nice messages through the free
iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
We still got a lot coming up on the show.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
We gotta get to the West Virginia Records, Sunfish Facebook comments.
We always love reading weating weating. I kind of do
like weeding.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
I'm not really allowed to talk about it too much.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
West Virginia Records, Sunfish Facebook comments coming up. Around eight
forty three more artists added to our iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup.
Around nine am, another shot at Bruno Mars tickets around
nine thirty.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
It's Mikey Bob Kiss. Hasn't been a good run lately
for Target.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
You know, a couple of years ago they got rid
of their DEI program and people started boycotting them. Their
stocks fell and everything. And then I'm not sure if
you saw the Halloween costume that was put on Target's
website now resembling blackface in minstrel imagery.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Not a good look, and it's a kid's Halloween cost.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Target has now because you know sometimes these things is like,
oh maybe it's a third party vendor, and somehow it
got on Target's website. Now Targets come out and apologize.
Now we pulled that. That's okay, we pulled an offensive
Halloween costume that never should have been part of our assortment.
It is no longer for sale as a company. We
got this wrong. We're deeply sorry. We know this is

(40:59):
a specially hurtful for our black guests, team members and partners.
Removing the costume is an important first step in the
companies looking closely at how this happened and what needs
to change to ensure this won't happen again. Yeah, I mean,
people are still like boycotting Target over the d d
I stuff, you know, and to have this happened, not
good look Target, Not a good look.

Speaker 11 (41:20):
You might think, like, oh, you got to be some
super smart person to be like an executive or a
higher up at some of these companies.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
No, you don't. You don't know. Most of these executives
are idiots.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
Seriously, they just sit at their computer all day and
answer emails and do charts and crafts and.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
The reports like how did they sneak through?

Speaker 2 (41:39):
I'm telling you, just normal people, man. We make the
world go round. Just dumb move by Target, and they're
obviously gonna face more boycotts and stuff like that, if
you know people haven't already boycotted them. It's just not
not a good look for Target after they've already you know,
been behind it with their DEI stuff.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
It's mike Y and Bob here on a ninety six
to one kiss. All right.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
I got sent a TikTok that I need to share
with the class because it has to do with last
week's toilet bowl sitter. We all remember the message we got.

Speaker 4 (42:13):
Recently found out the guy that I'm dating is a bull.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Center, a bull sitter meaning that he goes in the
in the bathroom, lips up both toilet seats, the lid
and the seat, and then sits on the cold porcelain.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
I mean, it doesn't even seem possible when you think
about it, but he's doing it.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
So I got sent a TikTok here, But they also
sent a talkback message talkback messages on the show brought
to us by the Pavement Group.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Good morning, Mikey and Bob. I had just sent you,
Mikey a TikTok today, but I was scrolling and I
saw that prank where you walk into the bathroom while
your partner's on the toilet and you like describe the
decorations of the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
Okay, now have you seen this prank on TikTok. It's
a pretty good one.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
Yeah, right, I have. I mean, nobody gets hurt, privacy
gets invaded. Shirt.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
But if it's your partner, right, I guess you have
their consent. I hope you have their consent.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Basically, the person sitting on the toilet and the person
who's recording comes barging in and talking about the bathroom
or what they want to remodel in the bathroom while.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
The person is just sitting on the toilet doing their business.
It's pretty funny. Obviously there has to be some some
strategic toilet sitting because he can't post like yeah, but
it's pretty funny. And the one she sent is just
this guy sitting.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
On a toilet.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
His girlfriend boss in is just like, hey, you know
what we should do to the bathroom and he's like,
he's like, it has to smell in here, right, Like.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
It's super funny.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
But I was scrolling and I saw a bare bowl
sitter in that prank.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Yeah, I sent to take a look. She sent me
in the video.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
So the guy sitting on a toilet, he's got to
be in his twenties or early thirties.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
He's sitting on the toilet.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
Lit in, both seats are up, but is he in there?
People were roasting him in the comments. It wasn't even
about the TikTok prank anymore. It's like, dude, are you
sitting on the toilet bowl but the porcelain?

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Are you in the toilet? Sir?

Speaker 2 (44:12):
He said, yes, the seat is up. I don't know why.
It's just more comfortable. Thanks for that, Lauren, which is
his girlfriend. There's no way that's what he said.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
That's the guy who's on the toilet bowl prank. Now
he's saying, because everybody's like why, why, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Said it's more comfortable psychotic behavior, But he said it's
more comfortable. So thank you for sending me that TikTok.
Always wanted to see a guy sitting on the toilet.
When his girlfriend busts in, she doesn't even say anything
about him sitting on the porcelain.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
Hey, there's more of them out there. There's more out
there in the shadows of the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
If you see a purple Jeep, give me a beep
beepen awave, because that's my vehicle.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Now.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Thanks to our friends over at see Harparado Group for
not only providing us vehicles that we're driving around. Bob's
in a big Dodge Ram white fifteen hundred Laramie.

Speaker 1 (45:15):

Bob Podcast. You can actually go to their website too
and buy the vehicles that we're we're driving right now.

Speaker 1 (45:25):

Speaker 2 (45:27):

we're gonna switch vehicles and yeah, it's been fun driving
around that purple jeep though. Let's get to another talkback
message here. It's Mikey and Bob on ninety six one

Speaker 16 (46:30):
I'm making Bob my husband and I just booked a
trip to Vegas for the beginning of January. Yes, and
I've never been there before, so I need some recommendations.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
Bob.

Speaker 16 (46:40):
I know you've been there pretty recently and you saw
the Backstreet Boys at the sphere. I think I might
actually try to get tickets too. Do you remember what
section you sat in and how everything was? And yeah,
I'll take any and all recommendations.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
Okay, I haven't been to Vegas in a long time.
I don't have like the places to go in Vage
at all. Bobby, were there not like last year?

Speaker 14 (47:02):
Right?

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Yeah? My in law's lives there now and my brother
in law lives there, so yeah, you got family just there. Yeah,
I went to see the Backstreet Boys. I sat, and
I sat in insane seats though. Oh yeah, that's right.
You met people at the airport. See this. This is
the thing, Bob.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Me and Bob are both very noticeable people because you know,
we're on the radio. As soon as we talk, you
sort of notice our voice. But we're oddly shaped and
we tell everybody that too. So Bob sitting at his
gate waiting to go to Vegas and you were texting me,
you were just taking pictures with people.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 11 (47:33):
And one of our we had a mutual friend who
knew the people I was talking to, and I met
him like once before, like a long time ago. But
they were going out to Vegas see the Backstree Boys,
and just like, you know, it's such a cheat code
in life. She's being nice to people and talking to
people and just being a normal human and just like
they were like, hey, you guys want to come with

(47:53):
us to see the Backstreet Boys. And We're like, we
weren't playing on it, but that'd be awesome. They're like, yeah,
we got a sweet all right.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
I'm like, okay, all the way they were sweets at
the Sphere.

Speaker 11 (48:04):
Neither did I And it was an amazing experience. Like
that was ridiculous. My only advice for the Sphere is
that don't sit closest to the stage. Like it's almost
like reverse. It's reverse of how you would see a
regular concert, like you think the.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Movie theater rules applied to the Sphere. Don't sit up close.
Those are the bad seats. You want way in the backs.

Speaker 1 (48:23):
You want back and up so you can see the whole.
That was an awesome show, dude. Yeah, that was an
amazing show.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
Have the time of breathe the take you in Mambas again.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
Baby, I can't help it, keep drownding in man telling
you man, Me and me and you would have tore
that show like I tore that up alot. Me and
you would have tore that show up. Me and you.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Can't do concerts together because we are unhinged together when
we're left unsupervised to our own devices at concerts, Me
and you as early like we're basically in the band.
You know, we had a good time at Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
We did second Night.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
We were singing Taylor together, having a good time. Uh yeah,
So definitely go.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
See Backstreet Boys at the sphere.

Speaker 2 (49:16):

it's only because sometimes I have like my leg cross, I'm.

only to get rained out. But the parents and coaches

We've had two people come in that work in our
office and just like, hey, there's something on your vehicles
out there.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
I don't know who left is something, but I probably
got ducks. And I'm wondering if you have meat that
is dropped off on your dodge ramp. We can only
hope either way. Thanks to our friends over at the
Sea Harper Auto Group, the official sponsor of the Mike
and Bob podcast, and hey, listen, everybody knows where we
are in the morning. We're at station in Bridgeville. So
if you you know you've ever wanted to leave something
on our vehicles, I don't know.

Can we encourage people to just do that while we're
at work.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
I think it's the easiest way to find us if
you want to drop meat for Bob and ducks for me.
Just saying yes, thank you to the Sea Harper Auto Group.
It's Mikey and Bob here. On ninety six one kiss
of course, Steelers got their final preseason game coming up
Thursday in uh in Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
Mike McCarthy was talking about, uh, you.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
Know, the young guys and this is really the game
where the roster gets filled out and everything. Now he's
talking about some of the young guys here, you know,
making strides.

Speaker 1 (55:23):
But then Mike McCarthy gets annoyed by the lawnmower. And
I don't blame him.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
You gotta have the coach talk away from where they're
doing long care, all right, to think here's Mike McCarthy.

Speaker 6 (55:35):
No, our young guys are getting better. It's preseason football.

Speaker 15 (55:38):
You know.

Speaker 6 (55:39):
We made some mistakes when we had the mistakes on
the UH one, the two interceptions, you know, you head.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
Crown rather that stuff happened, Oh, there it goes.

Speaker 6 (55:48):
I paid him to do that. I guess we're gonna stop.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
But I love all he's I paid him to do that.
I guess we gotta stop. It's great.

Speaker 6 (55:57):
You don't like to see him. Happened, but it's better
to happen in the pre season so you can definitely
learn from it.

Speaker 2 (56:01):
We've got another lawnmowers starting up there, Like you gotta
have McCarthy talking away from the lawnmowers. He's gonna be
distracted by lawn care.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
That's it. Like you hear that motor go off. We're
doing a long court.

Speaker 6 (56:14):
Yeah, but you know we'll get our our young guys
get another chance. Thursday night in Buffalo.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
Thursday night, Buffalo, here was Mike McCarthy, of course, talking
about the situation with Joey Porter Junior. He's looking for
you know, long extended giant deal, hasn't gotten it yet.

Speaker 6 (56:33):
You have to separate the business into football, you know,
sometimes easier than in others. And this is a challenge,
you know, for for both Joey and us because you
know we're we're first year of staff. You know, we
we've seen him play, could beating against Joey. I would
love the opportunity to coach Joey Porter. I know our
our defensive guys will love the opportunities. So you know,

(56:54):
we're we're at a pass right here, and that's and
you gotta respect them.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
We'll see what happens Tooey Porter Jr. He definitely deserves
the money. It's been a great cornerback since he got drafted,
and there are some cornerbacks making a lot of money.
The Steelers waiting this long to side Joey Porter Junior
has cost them probably tens of millions of dollars because
the price yesterday's price is not today's price.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
It's a couple of weeks before the start of the
real season too, which yeah, which means it's got to
be done. That's usually the Steeler way by then, or
he he just sits out the season, like I mean,
it could be like one of the that random like
Lavy on you where they tried to like franchise tag
him and he's like, nah, just sit out. It's never
the same after that.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
So yeah, we'll see what happens with Joey Porter Junior.
Can't trade him, right, Like, we're not gonna.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
Trade Pasy Junior, are we? You can't.

Speaker 8 (57:48):
He's been here forever, grow up a Steeler fan. Can't
let that guy get out. He black and gold, you know,
all right? So uh Obviously, the Steelers.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Have their final preseason game in Buffalo on Thursday, which
means Friday morning we get the final preseason round of
Steelers Facebook comments. Hey, we gotta go see what was
left on our vehicles in.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
The parking lot. Yeah, I'm kind of excited, but also
kind of nervous.

Speaker 15 (58:18):
You know.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
It's Mike and Bob here on ninety six to one,
kiss Thank you, Agetting to the sea Harper Auto Group
for supporting the show and being the official sponsor of
the Mikey and Bob Podcast. By the way, Bob, what
would you like to name the podcast today? Pete from Greenfield,
the one handed Fisherman.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
It's a good one, Yeah, a good one.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
You know, we read some Facebook comments on the show today,
what about a record fish caught in West Virginia and
the other one about the Steelers Disney collaboration with Pete
the cat. All right, so that's name of the podcast,
brought to us by the Sea Harper Auto Group. Cash
