Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, the ninety six one Kiss Morning Freak Show and
Bob walk into the studio this morning and we're both
just sitting there staring at it, going whoa huge too?
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Yeah, I'm talking about Sarah's Candy.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Dropped off an entire giant gift basket.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
I mean it's huge.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
This is a big It's like, uh, this is like
like we won the raffle.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
It really, that's what it is.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
It's like a city's like festival raffle or a church
raffle where they got the big gift basket.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
You got the grand prize.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Dude, it's got so much Thank you everybody over at
Sarah's Candies for thinking about us.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Just a giant basket. Now, let me read the letter
they sent with Sarah's candy.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Of course, Pittsburgh Staple, right, we talked about them on
the show because we were talking about ice cream and
Sarah's candy. They have a strawberry pretzel salad ice cream
and I said, I want to try that, but I'm
lactose intolerance.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
He'll probably make me poop.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
So they sent a giant gift basket with a note
attachment and it says, Mikey, we heard your concerns, considered
the risks and decided the only reasonable response was to
send reinforcements. Okay, it's from Sarah's Candies. Right inside you
will find plenty of Sarah's goodies for you and Bobby Chaer,
(01:20):
lactaded for a little extra confidence. Oh man, they're thinking
to me, they put lactate in There's lactate in there,
magic and free Sunday coupons for whatever. You're ready to
roll the brown ice Sarahs gets the show too. Oh
we can't promise there won't be consequences, but we can
(01:41):
promise the ice cream is worth it. Hope to see
you in Cannonsburg soon, your friends and Sarah's Candies look
at oh man, Yeah all right, promise it's worth it. Yeah, dude,
There's like Sarah's Candy's hats.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
In there, and then all Sunday coupons.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Ah Sunday, Oh, Sara's Candies, coffee stickers, the stickers, the
backside of buckeyes. Hey, that's how our show starts today.
I was just getting excited because we've got a giant
gift basket from Sarah's Candy's. Why because ice cream gives
me diarrhea and they gave they gave me prizes for it. Really,
(02:19):
that's that's what just happened here Pittsburgh is ice cream
gives me diarrhea. So Sarah's Candy sent us a giant
gift basket. Hey, uh, yesterday, obviously, we talked a lot
about the Commercial Street bridge implosion that.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Sort of went off right at eight am.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
And everybody wasn't expecting it to go off right at
eight am.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Oh yeah, uh huh, oh yeah. We got a lady
that described it. It's Kenny Wood Noises.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
We'll get to that club next here on the Kiss
Morning Free Show. Let's have a Friday, Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Jesus Kiss.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
If you thought yesterday was fun with a red level
air quality action, uh we beat that today.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
We're now at code purple. Purple.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Purple sounds horrible. I like purple. Purple's my favorite color.
Now I feel like the biggest threat should be red.
Everything should should end with red. How do we get
to purple? Purple's extra dangerous? Really, you think, yeah, you
don't want to be purple. I love purple color, but
it's your day. I guess out there when you pass red,
(03:30):
they're only one hold on though, maybe they're doing the
nipple scale, like you twist your nipple real quick, it turns.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Red, purple, nurple, you twist it real good, turns purple.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Maybe they're like, hey, listens, purple purple out there today.
Everybody be careful. Yeah, it's it's gross. Hey, great idea, though,
to uh implode a bridge when the air quality's awful
and have dust go everywhere, right, drop that in the
middle of everybody. Yeah, it's Mikey and Bob here on
ninety six to one kiss. They imploded the Commercial Street
bridge and we thought, hey, local news, just find some
(04:04):
inser that says something so Pittsburgh that we got to.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Play it on our show.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Great job wtaes Aver rash YEP for delivering this quick
report here tent moment rocking bystanders.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
It was more wild than writing the Black Widow at Kennywood.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Whoa whoa hobot that bridge boom. That's that's exactly hey,
that's exactly what we needed. We needed summons er lady
to describe it as more wild than widow.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
It was more wild than Widow at Kennywood.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
A bridge implosion was like, were you on the bridge?
Speaker 1 (04:44):
How is it more wild than The Black Widow at
Kenny Wood.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
It was more wild than writing The Black Widow Atkennywood.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
So clean up has begun now after yesterday's bridge implosion
that was wilder than the Black Widow at Kennywood. All right,
what is Khalifa? Tickets coming up on the show around
eight point thirty. We'll try to get you a thousand dollars,
help you pay some bills around nine to ten. New

Yeah, hit that little talkback microphone and you can send
us a message and maybe you'll make the show.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Thanks to our guy Jurgen from yinsmart dot com. We
got a package yesterday sent to the station that had like, so,
you know, like the orange Turners crates that are just
so iconic in Pittsburgh, the milk crates. It was like
six different little milk crates that had magnets on the back.
So you stick them to your fridge or whatever and
(06:36):
you can hold like things in there, you know, you
put a couple pens in there or something. It's so cool,
such a little thing, but such a smart, little cool idea.
Yinsmart dot com thanks to our guy Jurgen for sending
those over. But Bob, I want to talk by the way,
you did you put one of those on your fridge,
because fridge magnets are now your thing in your family
(06:57):
right okay, time, So she's trying to basically cover your
entire fridge and magnet.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
She has been ordering magnets and everything.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
We've never had a fridge where, at least not in
a long time where we can put magnets on.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
So we got it.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
We had to get a new fridge a couple weeks ago,
and all of a sudden she figured out she could
put magnets on this new one.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah, okay, she's on at the all right.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
So Bob posted a video yesterday. You need to see
what is on this man's fridge. Okay, go to his instagram,
half ass, Big Bob. Go to his instagram. It's on
our Micy and Bob Facebook page too. Okay, you can
go there too and look because we're gonna explain it.
But you need to see this because it does not sup.
I do not know how this thing exists. I just don't.
(07:40):
Let's get to this talkback message here, brought to us
by One Team Media.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Hey, guys, so I just I just saw Bob's Instagram
post about the magnets, the new fridge magnets and Rebecca
got a fridge goose and it has outfits.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
And Bobs Bob showed the hot.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
Dog outfit is so cute. He says, it's a problem.
I think it's perfect. Absolutely love it. And also Rebecca
looking super cute on vacation with her necklaces or glasses
or vacation nails done. Oh my god, love you guys.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Okay, Bob has a porch goose magnet on his fridge.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Now, we talked about this more recently on the show
You got your wife a porch goose for her birthday
last year that she dresses up in different costumes every
been knowing what the porch goose is.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Right, that's the thing.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
She's wanted one for years. I finally did it, and
she buys outfits for it. Okay, it's it's on my
front porch.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
It's a thing. It's a thing I deal with. Yeah.
Then I came home and there's a goose on the fridge,
just a nude.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Goose, though it didn't have a costume on it yet. Right,
a dude goose on the fridge. Right, but it looks
like the porch goose. You know. It's the white goose
standing on a little thing of grass. And yep, the
damn goose can be dressed up. The goose has outfits
for the fridge, so it's like a porch goose.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
It's a fridge goose. A fridge goose. It's a fridge goose.
It is it has outfits that change.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I know, I saw, I saw that you dressed it
up in the hot dog costume. Is this gonna be
like a weekly change on your fridge now, just dressing
up a fridge goose. I'm gonna come downstairs, just gonna
have different outfits on. I'm just happened many a little
fridge goose before you leave for work in the morning.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Right, ridiculous. You know, it's a little thing.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
She doesn't need to tell you what outfit she bought.
It'll be a little surprised for you. You know. I
walked in, I'm just like, oh, there's a goose on
the fridge. She's like, watch this. Now, it's got a
hot dog costume for it.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Watch this hot dog goose. Cats mikeying bums.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Cat.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
I feel like I've eaten enough sweet treats over the years.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Where I marinated my body and a bear would just
get me like a snack, screams a Mikey and Bobby
podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Get your podcast.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
I think it's so funny that we are dealing with
air conditions that are just like nothing we've ever seen before,
like the Canadian wildfires, smoke all that stuff and everything.
You know, it's extremely hot out. We got like highs
in the nineties. Again, like it's gross. You can taste
it outside. I I just love that They're like, don't
(10:25):
be outside for an extended period of time. If you're
outside all day, it's like smoking fifteen cigarettes. And then
the city's like, Picklesburg must go on. This is what
I don't get. You can't stop the pickle You tell
everybody it's bad outside, don't be out.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
There for too long, don't breathe.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
But we are having the Giant festival all weekend along
with bad air quality to celebrate pickles They really did say,
if you're out there, like for a full work day,
it's like smoking fifteen SIGs. Yeah, what if you only
go down to Picklesburg for a couple hours, how many
SIGs am I going to do to damage in my body?
I feel like, if you're going down to Picklesburg, say
maybe you spend two hours outside right at Picklesburg at
(11:09):
four six six, Yeah, maybe something like that. You know,
maybe depending on how you're breathing, might be worth it.
I'm telling you, man, this is like a wild time
to be alive. Like we I just don't know what
to do about anything, you know, other than just try
to make some smiles in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I just don't know what to do about anything.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Like all right, cool, can't can't breathe in the air,
it's been outside.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
But pickle everybody.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
We got a festival of pickles and we ain't shutting
it downs.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Our Pickle Week and you can't stop us.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Yeah, Picklesburg from noon to ten pm today, Tomorrow and Sunday.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
It's Mikey and Bob here, ninety six to one. Kiss. Hey,
let's go over to uh let's go over to the
Cleveland area.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
By the way. Buco's back tonight from the All Star break.
They are in Cleveland taking on the Guardians. But I
saw they said that they don't know if they're gonna
play that game though. Yeah, like no no word on
it yet. Yeah, because the winter, you know, Yeah, the
earth is on fire. It's burning AI centers taking up
all the water. Let's get to our buddy Geo and
(12:12):
Cleveland here talk back messages brought to us by the
Pavement Group.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Good morning, Mike, you and Bob. This is Geo from Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah, and it's been a while since sent in a message,
but thank you.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Guys. Can play this cor up track because I kind
of need it, because you.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Know, between all these heat doones he had and all
this wildfire smoke, this morning pretty rough out here in
the lot lately.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I love the show by Love the show by.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
That's Geo from Cleveland, listens to the show on the
iHeartRadio app over in Cleveland.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
He has fell in love with the city of Pittsburgh
our show.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, so yes, this is uh by request for Geo,
who's having a rough morning out there in the lot.
A lot of tendon and Johnny be careful out there.
G oh yeah, that's like six SIGs this morning. Really, Gill,
if you gotta work a full day, man, it's like
good lot of pig back there. Uh So, this is
like a minute of some of the best screw ups
(13:04):
that me and Bob have had on the show. Pretty
sure if rating radio ratings were just in the MRI machine,
I'm pretty sure we're number one.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Number one, Oh my god, just the worst at this job.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
It's the most sneaking there there none number Wow, what
was that I just said, there does the five, six
and eleven o'clock nude new new new dude, dude, kid, I'm.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
About to talk why we die every dog or eight people?
Speaker 1 (13:36):
You say dong or no? I didn't say, all right,
hold on, all right, hold on collecting new unwrapped toys
for the Marines.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Toys for.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Eightway clipper uh dot clam dot dot clom dot dot Yeah,
doc clom. This might be like one of those mobster movies.
Somebody's got movies. That's a whole different thing.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
I bet I got a bigger wing wingspan than Cam Hayward.
What did I say? Wang Span? Lord is coming to
the Peener cit.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Thee those mini hockey pooks pooks books. Hey, I think
next week our friends over at the Sea Harparado Group
are giving us vehicles to drive all like.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
I can't wait for this.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Thank you everybody over at the Sea Harparado Group the
official sponsor of the Mike and Bob Podcast. Now it
is a ninety six to one kiss. We have the
World Cup Final coming up on Sunday. It's Argentina against Spain,
and why not come out and hang out with your
boys on Sunday. We are gonna be at Acres. Sure,
do you have a team like between those two. I
(14:53):
want Argentina to win, but it's not. This is not
like Steelers Ravens where I'm gonna be Spain wins. It's
cool too, but like Argentina and MESSI win another one,
that would be pretty cool because he's just insane, you know.
But we'll be out there at Aker shirt. The gates
open at one point thirty. You can actually sit on
the field. You can't bring chairs or blankets because the
(15:15):
new field is real mice, it's nice grass.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Okay, We're not going to ruin the.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Nice grass for Steelers season, just for the World Cup
final card to let you touch it and sit on
it though, yeah, I mean touching grass set Actuer is
pretty sweet.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Though. Gates open at one thirty.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Me and Bob will be out there, say hi, give
us hugger high five if you see us, and then
the match starts at three pm. All right, let's get
to a talkback message here, brought to us by One
Team Media.
Speaker 5 (15:38):
Hey, boys, hopings are doing well and having a good
week back from vacasion. My wife and I were talking
about the early days in the show and how absolutely outrageous.
It was even I think more than now is. But
she doesn't remember the story about how Bob got arrested,
and then I think he ended up making us go
back for the show. If you guys could talk about
(16:00):
that on today and Freak Show history, I appreciate it,
and I know she would too. All right, guys, have
a good day.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Good morning that Bob got arrested. Here we go. Let's
tell this.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Story today and.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
His story.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
So there was this story I'm talking this is twenty years. Yeah,
we're going back like twenty years. There's a story about
how was it a school that had like uniform policy
or something like that, and it was really hot out
and they said men can't wear skirts because a bunch
of guys at the school were trying to wear skirts
because it was hot out.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
There was something along those lines.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, and they were either expelling people or like walking
them all something years ago.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
You know, we've progressed a little bit since then.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
But so Bob in support of those students, Yeah, yeah,
that's all I was trying to do. He I had
a leather mini skirt. He did that I put on
with nothing else. Well, I had underwear on. But yeah,
I didn't have a top on it at the time.
Looking back, maybe I should have wore a shirt, but
(17:12):
you know, I had to protest. There was wrong happening, right,
you were supporting the h the men who want to
wear skirts. I was trying to do. Yeah, leather mini skirt,
no shirt on and uh. Then we sent Bob out
to the uh the entrance of the Fort Pit tunnel.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Yeah, literally, like, you don't pull.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Over there by the way, it's not a place to
pull over rush hour in the morning. I was directly
outside the Fort Pit Tunnel at the entrance into the city,
encouraging people to honk if they supported. I did have
a sign that said Hong. I was shirtless and I
was wearing a leather mini skirt.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
At the time. So then the cops came.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Yeah, yeah, that's kind of where it went sideways on
me put you in coffs.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Games.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
I got lots of hongs, a lot of hongs, A
lot of people were listening, and a lot of people
had fun on the show.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
A lot of support everybody and a lot of it.
Well I didn't have that. They put you in real handcuffs.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Yeah. Yeah. When the cops pulled up, we were live
on the air, and there was some type of the
cop was speaking to me and it went over the
air and that was some type of violation.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
That's a bad one. That's like wire tapping, white something capping. Yeah,
direct handcuffs.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
I yeah, I had hands beyond the back back of
the cop car.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
I went to a real jail cell at the time,
still wearing the skirt. Yeah. Maybe not the best jail attire.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
This is how it should listen in a in a
leather mini skirt. I show up looking like a snack boys.
Yeah right, So I can't believe this is a real
story that happened on our.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Show Big Snack too, you know strutting.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
I was watching a shark program last night, and uh,
it looked like a baby seal out there. No, no
man had a whale. Sharks were just getting at it.
That's what that basically. You in prison and Baker, they
purp walked me through the jail cells, all right, and
then I went I went to a real jail cell
and uh, we had an attorney listening at the that morning. Yeah,
(19:17):
he came to where I was and somehow sweet talked
to cops and I had just signed like an affidat,
like what whatever that said, I would ever do anything
like that. Again, I couldn't actually pull over on the
Parkway unless it was an emergency, Like I just signed
my name on that.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Bob's band from pulling over on the Parkway for no
reason at all.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
And then I was out and back to the station
before ten am.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
It was a hell of a morning.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Well, and there's another little detail because when you came
back to the studio, this is back when for some reason,
like we've had a handful of guests in the studio
over our years, you know Mac Miller, you know things.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Like early years.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Dude, it's like the most random person possible in the
world that he could walk into. You come back after
going to basically jail during the show, and who's sitting
there by the way, I'm still in a leather mini
skirt and no shirt, yep, fresh out of jail, and
the comedian Earthquake is sitting there promoting some show he's
doing locally. I's forever walking on. It's like, hey, hey, guys,
(20:21):
just out from jail, and he's yeah, he didn't know
what that was going on. Yeah, I don't think anybody did,
but yeah, that's Uh, you know we've we've behaved a
little bit since since then. Well, you know, we we
do our stuff in the studio. Now we don't take
the show out on the streets because.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
There's a lesson learned that that morning. You know, we
don't need Bob and coffs again during the show. All Right,
new music from Gracie Abrams.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Here we go. iHeartRadio Music. Got your chance to go
see whis Kalifa coming up around eight thirty. That's gonna
be an awesome show because it's a Friday night, October second,
so it's a mile away. But for a lot of us,
it's gonna be the first time we go into the
brand new place citizens live at the Wiley Friday night.
Whiz Khalifa, brand new venue. Can't go wrong. We'll have
(21:10):
your chance at tickets around to ether to like more. Yeah,
it's ain't like Starlight. It's not gonna be like twenty
thousand people there. Okay, it'll be awesome, Yeah, it will
be Uh, it will be pretty cool. I want to
check in with the Pittsburgh Police Scanner account real quick here, Bob,
because we got a couple of things that have been
happening again. The Pittsburgh Police Scanner. They do such a
(21:33):
great job on social media. They just listen to the
scanner and then they post about the things that are
just sort of weird happening in the city. They have
their own website so you can support their ventures. Pghdash
scanner dot com. It's time to find out what is
happening in and around our city. This is in Carrick
Brownsville Road, Southside Cemetery. If you lost your debit card
(21:57):
in an open can of Ravioli in the cemetery.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
The long guy found it. Who left the Ravioli fiel?
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Maybe somebody passed that loved Ravioli and somebody goes and
visits their grave and brings them Ravioli.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Drops off, chop boyard. Do you get the grave? Maybe?
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Man, you get cremated or buried when you die, Bob,
have you figured that out yet? No?
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Are you serious?
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah? We don't have like a land, like a plot land.
Why do you want to drop Ravioli's off? I was
saying like, if if you get buried, do you know
how much I'm gonna come see your grave?
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Dude?
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Your grave is gonna be costages. Dad got stuff, bad stuff.
Adult toys. I'm just gonna leave him there and be like,
he used to love this. This is his favorite thought
I will. Man, dude, you're gonna have the best gravy.
It's a pretty morbid, all right. Also Terrace Village, the
caller set a door dash driver dropped off something that
(22:59):
the call didn't order. Callers afraid to touch it, and
wants police to dispose of it. I mean, that's a
gift from the door dash Gods eat it? Yeah, what
are you doing? Man?
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Is I sealed?
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Is it? You know how they put the Yeah? Yeah,
if the stickers on it, it's yours. It's fair game.
If the seal's broken, all right, then maybe it's no
need to call police on this, right man. I remember
one of one of the greatest nights of my life.
I had Chipotle delivered to my house and I didn't
even order Chipotle.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
It was for one of my neighbors. And this is
like early door dash, and I was like, I don't
know what to do. Do I eat this?
Speaker 1 (23:38):
So we like called door dash and they're like, oh, yeah,
you just it's yours now because nobody else is gonna
take it.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
A special day. Yeah, it was pretty special.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Also, happening in and around our city through the Pittsburgh Police.
Ganner Beach View caller says they're family swimming in the
backyard while a neighbor's standing at a window watching them.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
And playing with this pool noodle. Why you get out
of the window, boss, You're not invited to.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
The point, I got no more comments. I'm just gonna
move on to the next one here.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Also happening downtown. This was on the Clemente Bridge, OH.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Caller says that a guy has a sign asking for
money for hookers and drugs, and the callers offended.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Listen, do we respect the honesty? I guess I always
respect the honesty.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
I feel like, and I know some people are like, well,
there's some people out there that are asking for money
that that's their full time job, and they really aren't
that way far off and need enough money for hookers
and drugs.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
That's actually a lot of money. You got a collectors.
I'm not sure what the prices are. Well, it's like
me playing the power ball.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
I don't know what the price the going rates are for.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Well, I can probably tell you a couple of things
about drugs, but.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I got no no, probably not, probably not if you're
standing out there. But you know what, if you're standing
out here in this weather with that smoke, you deserve
fuckers and drugs. That's what's happening in and around our city.
Dang all right, Coming up next, there's a guy stuck
in a port of pie for eight hours. We'll get
(25:23):
to that story next. Whisky Leaf and tickets around eight thirty.
Your chance at one thousand dollars. Around nine ten, it's
Mikey and bomb kiss.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
I know the Pirates schedule for next year came out yesterday.
The Penguin schedule from next year came out yesterday.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
But guess what. I'm over here watching, ah.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Man what I'm watching Jalen war and run drills around
trash cans and cones.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Dude Steeler's running back.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Man Champs a couple weeks away put a video Staylor's
Staylor's putting out.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
It was me pulling like uh.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
Says, training with j trays uphill. That's like the one
last year where you was me pulling like a hockey goal,
soccer soccer goal.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah, he was pulling it all right.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Yeah, I'm over here just watching Jalen war in trash
can spin move videos. Uh yeah, it's not next week,
it's a week after Steeler Camp. Already in it, already
in it, man, we gotta get this Canadian smoke.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Get the smoke out of the way.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
We got a couple of big boys on the line
who ain't gonna be able to breathe if camp started today.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
It's Mikey Bob here on ninety six to one. Kiss.
Let's get to the porta potty man here.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Because obviously Kansas City had World Cup matches this year,
right yeah, and uh, they had.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
A lot of different events going out around the World Cup.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
So, uh, there was a guy, you know, the bunch
of porta potties lined up, and you know, at the
end of the event, they're going through knocking on the doors,
making sure nobody's in there so they can take the
porta potties away.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
And that's where we'll get to this.
Speaker 7 (27:10):
My name is Chip Counterman. I'm a partner with Patriot
Portable Restrooms. Right, but one of our guys went to
pick up an event from the World Cup. I knocked
on all the doors, made sure nobody was in the restrooms,
all right. He did find one of them locked, all right.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
We got one locked so yes, No, Well, somebody's still
in there, still doing business.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
Knocked on the door and let the gentleman know he
had ten minutes to get out.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
That's fine, ten minute warning. If you're in there, you
got timers, run and bad. Nobody wants to be in
a porta potty for five minutes. Let ten minutes taked.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
Up everything else. I'm back to that toilet. I knocked again.
The man inside said he was not going to get out.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
All right, now, this is getting real suspicious again.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
We got a line of porta potties and this guy's
trying to clear them out and take them away.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
There's one guy in there saying, ah, I'm not coming out.
Speaker 7 (28:00):
A police officer on a motorcycle went by, got a
cop PP, walked up to the door and asked the
man to exit the toilet. The man replied that he
could not reach the door and couldn't get out.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Of the toilet. All right, he's listen, I know where's
he's in the toilet. There's no other place you can
be in the porta potty. He's in the toilet.
Speaker 7 (28:21):
They looked inside and didn't see anybody. The lid was
closed and owner was in the restroom.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
It kind of startled that again there's it shouldn't have startled.
Then there's only one place the guy can be. He's
in the toilet. It's a horrible game of hide and
go seek, it really is.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Again, they want to get a guy out of the
porta potty. They think there's just somebody in there going
to the bathroom. But he's been in there for so
long that and now they opened the door, the cops,
and there's no one there in the lids closed.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
He's in the toilet.
Speaker 7 (28:47):
All of a sudden, a head popped out of the
toilet and he said, I'm in here.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
You imagine the cops.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
You're just sitting there like wow, just mobs up. I'm
in here, just poking out like a turtlehead.
Speaker 7 (29:06):
And he pulled them. He was retrieving a mountain dew
bottle that he dropped in from the night before.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Okay, hold on a mountain dew bottle that he dropped
the night before. Used listen, there's a lot of good
mountain dew flavors. You know, they got all these different
Baja blasts. Now, there ain't no mountain dew worth going
for a swim four.
Speaker 7 (29:28):
So that him the inside of the tank for about
eight hours. That was true.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
This guy was supposedly in a Kansas City port a
potty toilet inside the toilet for eight hours.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Eight hours, eight hours.
Speaker 7 (29:43):
After it was cut op and the man was able
to act the toilet, the fire department did hook up
water to their truck and gave him a free shower.
Long story shore, horrible situation. Watch out falling into toilets.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yeah, watch out falling into toilets. I think the Mountain
dew bottle maybe had some Really I'm not quite sure.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah, this scene.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
And by the way, like, you can't charge that guy
with anything. He's spent eight hours into porta potty. You
know what's worse than the worst deal though, Whatever charges
that this guy's gonna get, just teach him a lot to.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Set him free. He's yeah, he's learned his lesson already.
All right, we got whisk to leave it.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Tickets coming up around eight thirty this morning, your chance
at one thousand dollars. Try to pay your bills around
nine ten, it's mike him up. They jumped, so they
think they know where the diarrhea came from. Now I
think they've traced the diarrhea shredded iceberg let us supplied
by Taylor Farms and sold at some Taco Bell restaurants
is linked to the explosive diarrhea outbreak. It looks like
(30:44):
Midwest and the largest cyclose spora outbreak in the US
on record.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
All right, we did all right, all time diarrhea for
the Midwest. Yeah, they've tracked down the diarrhea.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Yeah, but Taco Bell said it was removing some of
the items obviously that we're infected. It said, the affected
ingredient from our suppliers being indefinitely removed from our supply
chain nationwide and be replaced in twenty four hours in
select states.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
So hey, back to normal Taco Bell diarrhea.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
We're trying to get the bad diarrhea under control. I
guess it is Mikey and Bob here on ninety six
to one kiss. Let's get to a talkback message here,
send them through the free iHeartRadio app brought to us
by One Team Media.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, look from me in d C.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Hey, I was thinking it needs to be a company
that takes advantage of this opportunity and create something like
the One Chip Challenge. Take advantage of the explosive, watery
diarrhea outbreak and do something like the one Chip Challenge.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Remember the one Chip Challenge. I did that with Chef
Tom from Get Go. Yeah I never did. It was
a path done that. It was bad, but it wasn't horrible.
You know, I just don't like anything that hot. Yeah,
I know.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
It was just so I don't like diarrhea. So this
appetite Okay, all right, does sound great? You like hot diarrhea.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Because that's what you get when you get to one
Chip Challenge. All right, this is just gross. But again
it's gross, but this is what's happening right now. We
got explosive diarrhea outbreak, but it's just a piece of
lettuce with cyclost bariasis on it.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Okay, So the one Chip Challenge instead of being like
a hot like tortilla chip with just insane hot pepper
flakes and spices that'll just have you like gasping for air,
Doug is saying it's time to play, you know, will
you get the rhea from the lettuce, see how it reacts.
Speaker 8 (32:34):
And maybe they call it like the butt Juice Challenge
or the Butt Squirts Challenge.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
I don't think. I don't think this is gonna take off.
I don't think the next ice bucket challenge is here.
I just don't think the butt juice challenge is gonna
be something.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
You know, something like that.
Speaker 6 (32:50):
Nothing like getting a bunch of bikes together in a
couple pieces of lettuce with one bathroom and just seeing
where the night takes you.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Have a good day, guys, have birthday, Bob.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
It's not Bob's bird, Thank you, Bob's birthdays, New Year's
couple bodies, one bathroom. See, I don't think it needs
to be a couple pieces of lettuce though. I think
everybody needs to go get a full head of lettuce. Like, hey, listen,
it's Friday night.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Let's have some fun, right.
Speaker 9 (33:11):
Going into the weekend, spinning on the floor, right, and
then you just gotta take a monster bike out of
the full head of you know, only one bathroom.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
One bathroom though, and then see how that, see how
that goes. Next thing, you know, somebody's gonna be stuck
in the bathroom for eight hours. You go in there
and they're stucking.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Oh my gosh, you get in here. I did the
I did the head of.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Lettuce challenge all right, new music Friday here on ninety
six to one kiss. Another brand new Gracie Abram song
coming up around eight am. Whisky Leaf It tickets around
eight thirty. It's Mikey and Bob Pay your bills on
ninety six one Kiss. Did you miss any segments on
the live show. Get caught up with our Mikey and
Bob podcast every day on the free iHeartRadio app brought
to us by c Harper Auto Group.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Let's get to a talkback message here.
Speaker 8 (33:58):
Hello bikeing and this is Autumn from Ohio. I this
is so embarrassing. I have just listened to one of
your ads and it has become a vocal stem of mine. Specifically,
it is the hot breath of summer. Oh, so thank you?
Speaker 2 (34:20):
What is is that? Is that one of our window.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Where you pretend you're the hot breath of summer trying
to get it's me again now we got her over
in Ohio. Just oh, it is just it is gross
hot breath. Excuse me, hot breath of summer out especially
throw this smoke on top.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Yeah, oh hies today near ninety degrees.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
Hot breath of smoking SIGs out there. That's more what
it's like right, that's more what it's like.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Great. Oh, hold on, let's get to our buddy Smoke
got it.
Speaker 10 (34:57):
Here, miikey Bobs boy, Smoke got there he is with
all this smoke from my parents Canada.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
This is wild.
Speaker 10 (35:05):
It's hazy everywhere it looks a apocalyptic Yeah, and I
can't take it man.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
And Happy birthday, my boy Bob, and welcome back boys.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
Yeah, smoke, God, he's not Bob's Birthday's birthdays New Year's Day. Hey, listen,
when the smoke has a guy named Smoke Gottie Don
and I us us normal people should not be outside today.
If Smoke gott he can't take it. Who can't smokes
in his name? All right, let's get to another talkback
message here, brought to us by the Pavement group.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
Blaming Matt Canada for the forest fires and all the smoke.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
Oh my goodness last night and I was just like
this is amazing.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Yeah, okay, it's not Bob's Birthday's birthdays New Year's Day?
Speaker 2 (35:50):
All right? Thank you.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Our guy Brandon, who absolutely cooks on the yinser Internet.
His Instagram is Tourists look up right. We've played plenty
of his videos on the show. Before he's got a
new one talking about the haze and the smoke that's
coming from Canada. Apparently he's got connections with Smoky your
bear Really okay, smoke your bears out there, only you
can prevent forest fires.
Speaker 11 (36:12):
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I just go off the phone
with someone very important and he's not very impressed. I
don't know if you remember from growing up, I know
how much he has paid attention. If you did, we
could probably prevent these issues. He was kind of a
pillar in the community. Ladies and gentlemen, I just go
off the phone with none other than mister Smoke himself.
Wile smoking a bear. Wow, he's not very impressed with
(36:33):
the Canadians at the moment. I said, you know what, smoke,
There's only one explanation for it. There's only one person
that could be behind us. And he goes, well, Brandon,
who's out?
Speaker 2 (36:41):
I said, you know who it is? He said, no,
I don't.
Speaker 11 (36:44):
I said, you lures fan smoke. He said, I'm a
lurs fan. I saw our brother Weldon. That explains that
the only person that could possibly in charge for filling
the whole city full of smoke, none other than Matt Canada.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Matt Canada is out again. Oh no, Matt Canada. Here catch.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
I mean, listen, there was a point where you could
chant fire Canada anywhere in Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
You could be at a nice restaurant and you could
get a fire Canada. Chance.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
The Bear he talked to him, Smoking the Bear's blaming
former Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
He's got on the level where he calls him smoke too.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Yeah, we got smoke. Gottie Brandon's got smoking Bear, and
Matt Canada might be the plane for all this damn
stuff going on right now.
Speaker 11 (37:34):
My Heart Radio musical one is that Tulu got a
chance for you to win one thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
That's coming up around nine ten. We continue to try
to pay your bills thirteen times a day. Here on
ninety six to one. Kiss it is Mikey and Bob.
Let's get to a talkback message brought to us by
the Pavement Group.
Speaker 7 (37:53):
We get Big Bob to give a smoke warning.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Yeah, we got the Canadian wildfire smoke. It's awful.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
There's like I didn't even know we could get to
level purple, like air quality alert. We're at purple yeah,
I said, if you're outside all day, it's like smoking
fifteen cigarettes or something.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
But hey, Picklesburg must.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Go on.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Dangerous out there in the hot weather with the smoke.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
But hey, hey, we didn't make up the STIGs thing.
They really said. Working outside today is like smoking fifteen SIGs. Yeah,
but also worth it if you need to ride a
mechanical pickle, you know, like I mean, there's some things
that you just have to risk it for. Right by
the way, Bob, I don't want you to ruin your
voice and yell a smoke warning real loud. I think
(38:43):
we'd go to signor smoke himself. Pittsburgh's own wis Kalifa.
Here's the only smoke wrning you need. That's Whiskalifa there
with a smoke warning for everybody. All right, So if
you plan on going outside today, whiz Kalif was warning
you ben warn we might. That's the whiz Khalif of
purple warning right there. Let's call it the whiz Khalif
(39:05):
a purple Hayes warning. That is weird that the highest
levels purple. Yeah, and it's hazy outside.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
I don't know there's some of us where purple Hayes
means means a little something. Whizz is one of them.
All right, careful out there.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
The Pirates might play a game in Cleveland Tonight's kick
off the second half of the season.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
But also air quality might be bad enough that they
just they just move the game. We'll see.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
They also announced their schedule yesterday afternoon. Oh my gosh,
do we have a home opener, like the actual season
opens in Pittsburgh. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
I saw that. It'll be like the first real home
opener that we've had in years.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Year since twenty sixteen. Last decade, the Pirates have started
the season on the road. So we open the season
for the first time at home since twenty sixteen. It's
pretty awesome. I mean there's also a chance, unfortunately, of
a lockout. Yeah I saw, Yeah, that's coming.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
I saw.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
This was just kind of posturing by the MLB putting
the schedules out, Oh okay, to try to force the
players to reach an agreement.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
So it's just like, we already made the schedule and
you're excited.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Yeah, home opener Thursday, March twenty fifth against the Athletics.
It's the earliest of Pirates will start a season. I'm
sure weather is going to be fantastic.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
For the pall schemes out there on an opening day. Yeah,
why not.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
Penguins also released their schedule yesterday on an eighty four
game schedule. They opened the season on the road September
thirtieth against the Flyers. Home opener is going to be
October third against the Montreal Canadians and then Bob I
also saw here home game on January first against the
Minnesota Wild Birthday. Boy. Let me tell you right now,
(40:58):
watch out, listen. I know that we got some people
over at the Penguins. I'm saying if Bob does not,
if there's not a Bob birthday tie in for the.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
New Year's Day game, then what are we even doing
here Pittsburgh? What are we even doing?
Speaker 1 (41:14):
Also, like the news that everybody knew was coming from
the Penguins is official now. The e c h L's
Wheeling Nailers, you know that have been just sort of
a staple with the Penguins for years and years. They
are now being replaced with the Florida ever Blades, which
is an awesome name for a team. But the Hoffman groups,
(41:35):
they've they fust I was about to say, the Haffman
Group sucks.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
We're too early. We're too early to say they suck.
Sucks for people, is what I was gonna. Yeah, it does,
it does.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
I'm sure there's a lot of people have loved going
to those games over the years, and yeah, maybe not
so much more. Yeah, I just it does suck for
the for the community down there. They've owned the ever
Blades down in Florida since twenty nineteen. They've won the
Kelly Cup, which is their championship, for the past five years.
So the Haffman Group's good with that level of hockey.
(42:09):
Hopefully that you know, uh, translates to NHL success. Every
Blades's logo not black and yeah, it's not black and yellow,
though it's got a gator on it. Yeah, Kyle Dubas said,
for nearly three decades, the Nailers have been an invaluable
part of the organization's player development process. Previously, David Hoffman
from the Haffman Group said that, you know, they would
(42:31):
run me out of Naples, Florida if the ever Blades
go away.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
So it's like they had to make the decision.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
They own the Penguins now, of course they're going to
take their team, right instead of taking the Wheeling Nailers.
The ever Blades used to be Blue Saint Louis Bluedes
affiliate and that ended this offseason. So the Wheeling Nailers
are are no more or they need to find another team,
or I think I saw that they're searching for another
team already. But that's not like a guarantee nod. So, yeah,
(43:00):
it does suck. And obviously we're feeling for everybody out
there and Wheeling who loved the Nailers and loved going
to Naylor's games.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
And but the Hoffmin groups, like some of them already
said like ever Blades.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Fans were wearing like Penguins jerseys to their games late
last season and everything. So they oh, they owned both
the teams, they can do what they want. It does suck,
and we understand it. But as soon as they bought
the Penguins and they all sort of saw this happening
all right. Coming up next to round eight thirty, we
got your chance at whisky Leaf of tickets. Also, WTAE
talked to a woman yesterday about the bridge implosion, the
(43:34):
Commercial Street bridge. Yeah, she used Kenny Wood to describe.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
What it what it was like. We'll get to that
next it's my Gameboby.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Six Sunday, Me and Bob are gonna be floating around
Agroshuer Stadium because they're letting the general public go on
the grass, brand new grass too. You can't bring blankets
and you can't bring chairs. You can just bring yourself
and sit your eye on the grass. You can sprawl
(44:01):
out on that grass.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Sure, why not take some pictures on the Acressure Stadium grass.
Lower bowl is also open if you'd like to sit
in a chair.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Yeah, Sunday, we're gonna be watching the World Cup Final
at Akrochure. They're putting it up on the screen. They've
had a couple different events where they've done that, but
we're gonna be out there for the World Cup Final.
It is Argentina against Spain and then like halftime is
supposed to be a big deal like BTS Justin Bieber
and like Madonna and stuff and.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
Yeah, so it should be just a cool event. Watch
it with us.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Lower bowl is gonna be open if you want to
actually sit, or you can go on the field and
sit on the grass. Just no blankets and chairs or
anything like that. That is gonna be Sunday at Akrossure
come hang out with your guys.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Mikey and Bob. It is ninety six to one. Kiss.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
Let's get to WTA because yesterday the Commercial Street bridge
was imploded. Okay, we all sort of saw that, and
we're just you know, you know, we are with the
local news. We just hope that they talk to somebody
who has some sort of hope they found someone inserness
right to them. Right. So w Tae sends Ava Rash
(45:07):
out there to do the bridge implosion reaction, right, and
she finds this lady here intense.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
Moment, rocking bystanders.
Speaker 3 (45:15):
It was more wild than writing The Black Widow at kennywid.
Speaker 2 (45:19):
That's exactly what we need right there. Perfect Hey, great job,
Avery Rash.
Speaker 1 (45:23):
That's all we need to see on the news. I
don't want somebody just describing it just in a generic way.
Tell me about the boom I heard the boom.
Speaker 6 (45:33):
Wood.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
You need to us the level of the boom that
it was for us.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
It was more wild than writing The Black Widow at Kenwich.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
The bridge implosion was wilder than riding the Black Widow
at Kenny Black Widow wild?
Speaker 2 (45:48):
Does it get more Pittsburgh than this?
Speaker 3 (45:50):
It was more wild than writing the Black Widow at kennywid.
Speaker 2 (45:53):

Your chance out one thousand dollars coming up trying to
pay your bills.
Speaker 1 (50:38):
Around nine ten, It's Mikey and Bob ninety six to
one kid Jumped New music Friday Here on ninety six
to one Kiss. Gracie Abrams has a brand new album
out called Daughter from Hell. We're playing brand new Gracie
songs at the top of every hour. Uh. The actual
song Daughter from Hell we will play coming up next
(51:00):
here on ninety six one Kiss. It is Mikey and Bob.
Earlier on the show, we were talking about this this
story out of Kansas City. Kansas City hosted some of
the World Cup games. They had a lot of events,
and uh, you know there's a row of porta potties
and uh, the guy from the porta potty companies cleaning
out the porta potties.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
It's clean up time.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Yeah, he's going through and hey, anybody in here? Sure
one of them was locked. Somebody answered that they can't
get to the door. They ended up calling the cops
fire department, and they found a guy hiding basically in
the porta potty toilet hole like he was down in
the blue Goo because he said he dropped him out
and do bottle in there for eight hours. He was
(51:40):
down after the World Cup of that Chief, which that
thing is probably run through. Boy, he was down in there.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
That's all countries coming together. I was just doing hod on.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
No, let's get to this talkback message brought to us
by you know what, I'm not going to answer sponsor to.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
This message.
Speaker 12 (52:00):
From Bridgeville. I have another porta potty story for you
this morning. So a few years ago, I was with
my parents in Vegas and really had to go to
the bathroom, So porta potty on the side of the road.
Speaker 2 (52:11):
Hold on real quick, let me stop it right there, Okay, Vegas,
porta potty side of the road. It's like a constructured
port of potty you don't have.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
This is hot too, That's what I'm saying, dude, that's
like Mike microwaving it in.
Speaker 12 (52:26):
There, went in, did my thing, and all of a
sudden heard a big PLoP. Realized my cell phone had
been in the back pocket on my shorts.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
Got to let it go. It's gone forever.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
You need a new cell phone now. That's sorry. Sorry,
the toilet has it now. Everything's in the cloud. But
hopefully you can restore it. Yeah, that phone belongs to
the Vegas now.
Speaker 12 (52:49):
Without thinking, immediately turned around, pants on the ground, and
dove my arm into the depths to scoop out my phone.
The phone was successfully retrieved and cleaned the But maybe
I have some swamp bug community now. Anyway, have a
great Friday. Glad you guys are back.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
I don't think you have any sort of superpowers or
swamp bug immunity.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
You don't know.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Maybe I don't know. If that was a good decision,
I would have left it forever. I mean, she's still
here with us. She just sent that message a little
bit ago.
Speaker 2 (53:21):
Using the phone.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
Still, there's no way you can thoroughly clean a phone
after it falls into the port of potty.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
There's not enough waters in the world.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
There's no way you could take it to one of
those phone places where they open your phone and clean
all that there.
Speaker 2 (53:36):
You gotta let that that phone belongs to Vegas. Now
you know what they say.
Speaker 1 (53:40):
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, including that poopy
cell phone of yours.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
Should have left it.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
Myheart Radio Music Friday budget for.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
One Hi everyone, it's greasy Abrams one thousand dollars trying
to pay your bills.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
Coming up next here on ninety six to one Kiss
will give you the nationwide keyword to enter up at
nine to six one kiss dot com.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
Uh, it is Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
I just saw some news this morning here Kenny Woods,
sand Castle in Idlewild and Soakzone all closed today due
to the air quality. Wow, it's kind of a serious
deal here this air quality right.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Like, I mean, it's level of purple, which I didn't
even know if possible, didn't even think it could get
past red.
Speaker 1 (54:32):
But here we are. The expert said it if you
spend a good significant amount of time outside, it's like
smoking fifteen cigarettes. Yeah, so they shut down Kennywood, sand Castle, Idlewild,
and Soakzone today on a Friday. You know, sucks for business,
sucks for them, but hey, Earth is on fire right now, man,
(54:52):
just I think the solution is more AI data centers, right, is.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Probably more air right?
Speaker 1 (55:00):
Some of that it is Mikey and Bob here on
ninety six to one kiss Sarah's Candies has made contact.
Obviously legendary Pittsburgh treats Sarah's Candy with the factory over
Aaron Cannonsburg basket. Yeah, it's it's a it's a major
gift basket that was sent to the station by Sarah's Candies.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Now, I'll take you back to a few shows ago.
Speaker 1 (55:21):
We were talking about ice cream flavors, and I fantasized
about strawberry pretzel salad ice cream flavor, which there's like
a million companies who make that flavor. I don't know, though,
because ice cream makes me poop, so I don't get
to try all the flavors.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
You did say it very innocent, like I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (55:38):
You were just excited because we were making up fantasy
ice cream flavors. You're like strawberry pretzel salad, and then
everybody jumped on you, like, well, it's.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
Already out there.
Speaker 1 (55:47):
Sarah's DM to me, Sarahs Candies DM me and said, hey,
we got you and Bob come by.
Speaker 2 (55:51):
We got that.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
And I said, ice cream makes me poop, though, Sarahs,
and you're in Cannonsburg. I live all the way up
north in like Swickly Franklin Park. I'm gonna poop my
pants on the way home. I love you, but yeah,
I can't do that. But they sent a gift basket.
This is amazing, Mikey. We heard your concerns, considered the risks,
and decided the only reasonable response was to send reinforcements.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
Inside the basket, you'll find plenty of.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
Sarah's goodies for you and Bob to share, lactad for
a little extra confidence, and free Sunday coupons.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
For whatever you're ready to roll the brown dice.
Speaker 1 (56:22):
We can't promise there won't be consequences, but we could
promise the ice cream will be worth it. Hope to
see you in Cannonsburg soon your friends at Sarah's Candies. Jeez, hey,
well played there, and what a great note too, Adult
viper in there by the way I love anywhere. Checked
for an adult diper. I saw lactate. There is lactate
(56:45):
in there, so I don't put my Yeah, but I mean,
is there any extra safety?
Speaker 2 (56:50):
Is there a safety layer?
Speaker 1 (56:51):
If we're rolling brown dice, you might want to put
on an adult Dipe'd.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
Be hilarious if there's just one tugged in there.
Speaker 1 (56:57):
If lactate's so good for diarrhea, aren't we all getting
like lactaid like we got COVID shot, you know, let's
let's really fight this lettuce diarrhea from taco bell with Let's.
Speaker 2 (57:07):
Fight fire with fire.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
I think lactat is for dairy. Well, lettice won't work.
It's got a cow on it. Oh, the cow is
looking like preventing all diarrhea. Dude, the lactaate cow looks
like it's the anti diarrhea cow is on loch. Thank
you Sarah's candy, and thank you of us sending a
(57:30):
nice gift basket over.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
We will make it to your delicious chocolate factory one
day soon. And thank you for sending reinforcements. All right,
here's your chance to win one thousand dollars. Good luck.
Speaker 1 (57:40):
Your got a chance for you to win one hundred dollars,
get go gift cards. You can fuel up and stock
up on snacks and drinks for.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
Whatever you're doing this weekend.
Speaker 1 (57:54):
If you're road stripping anytime soon, we'll do that next
year on ninety six to one Kiss It is Mikey
and Bob.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
Yesterday we were talking about.
Speaker 1 (58:01):
The ten New yinsers that are going to be on
the Pittsburgh Walk of Fame there in the Strip District.
You know, some of them you're real familiar with, like
Mary Olmu, but then there are some that were just like,
all right, what's what's this person famous for? Henry Mancini
was one of them, we said yesterday, and we're like, oh,
you must be a bread guy, right, He's uh, not
the bread guy, the famous composer. Yeah, he did the
(58:22):
Pink Panther theme. Wow, you know that's a famous He's
won four Academy Awards and twenty Grammys. One of us,
it's kind of a big deal. Yeah, he's a injurer too.
But hold on, let me get to this talkback message
brought to us by the Pavement group.
Speaker 8 (58:44):
Bob is your friend Erica here. I just have to
share that I was a really serious dancer when I
was younger and my teacher would.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
Always talk about Martha Graham.
Speaker 8 (58:54):
She's considered like the founder of modern style dance. They
call her.
Speaker 2 (58:58):
Picasso of dance.
Speaker 8 (58:59):
I had no idea she was from Pittsburgh.
Speaker 6 (59:01):
I just wanted to share.
Speaker 8 (59:02):
I thought that was super cool. So thanks for teaching
me that she was from there and that she's getting
a star in the strip.
Speaker 2 (59:09):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (59:10):
If you've ever danced in your life, basically Pittsburgh, you know,
are you the Picasso a dance though? No, But I
was up for season one of Dance Moms as a
mom or I was being cast as a dancer.
Speaker 2 (59:26):
Let me tell you there would be nothing funnier than
at the peak of Dance Moms with Abby Lee. Does
Abby Lee make that under Walk of Fame eventually? By
the way, I don't know the charges in the prison time?
Speaker 10 (59:40):
Might nah?
Speaker 2 (59:41):
I don't know we got any felons on the Walk
of Fame. You know anybody who's done some jail time?
Speaker 1 (59:48):
Are you disqualified for the day that you were a
skirt on the parkway and no charges, no charge, No
charges were dropped. I was a dancer too, So we're
putting dancers on I'm eligible. I don't think mine was
more exotic. Hey, Martha Graham basically invented modern dance. She's
a picasso a dance you though exotic? Can you imagine
a season dance Moms with all the girls, and then
(01:00:10):
all of a sudden, there's just this one big guy
who like has the body of class, has the body
of a giant adult man. He never addressed me either,
but I'm always there, just dancing my ass. He's got
the heart of a dancer, you know, and he needs
he needs to learn the basic stuff that.
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
You would learn when you were like younger. Right, yeah, yeah,
that'd been pretty magical, right.
Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
We had a couple of dance moms come out to
stuff with Boss throughout the years and everything.
Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Never met Abby Lee Miller in real life, though, No,
you know the one, Well she went to jail. Well
that's true too. You gotta wa say she's the one
who got away. But you really didn't, you said, Well.
Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
Close enough though that Bob, you were you were Abbey
Lee for Halloween one year.
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Yeah, yeah, you pulled that cost them all real good too.
Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
All right, let's get to a another talk back message here,
Bob I was.
Speaker 8 (01:00:58):
Putting up on the podcast and I heard the lady's
story about how she found her cat behind the taco bell.
Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Oh yeah, we were talking about cats yesterday on the show,
as we do, you know, and uh lady said that she,
you know, some people go through breeders and try to
get like fancy animals and things like that, and she's like,
I found my cat behind the taco bell is eating
a deer carcass or something.
Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
And it reminded me of my sister's friend who found
her cat and kept them and like that's how she
got her cat.
Speaker 8 (01:01:25):
And and my sister was like, well, how'd you name them?
She goes, Oh, I just named them after what I
found them in. That's taint and dirt.
Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
It made my day, all right?
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
Did she say paint and dirt or dirt? Because if
you don't know, true, I don't know. If you want
to taint cat, here's the chance to win one hundred
dollars get go give. The air quality is at a
purple level. Didn't know it could be that high.
Speaker 8 (01:01:51):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Kennywood sand Castle by the Wild clothes for the day
because of the bad air. Pickles bergs out here just
going what ever, Picklesburg just going, what do you want?
We got a mechanical pickle.
Speaker 7 (01:02:05):
What you want?
Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
You want us to shut it down for the day.
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (01:02:08):
So Picklesburg, I think is just gonna keep continuing through
the weekend. Not sure if the Pirates are playing tonight
because they're in Cleveland. I think that's still up in
the air. Obviously follow along with that if you care,
but the game is still scheduled to go on. But again,
all these cities here in the Midwest are like, well,
first of all, we're all deal with diarrhea, but then
(01:02:31):
the Canadian wildfires.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Right, it's like you shouldn't even be outside that long,
right if you.
Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
Don't have to. I think tonight overnight there's a chance
of like showers, and then the winds will change from
what I saw, and like throughout the weekend it'll get
less and less. Okay, I think today is like the peak.
Today is the worst day. Yeah, well, we're at purple level.
I don't think, yeah, we're purple nurples out.
Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
There is man. I didn't think get hired and read,
but purple Marple here we are.
Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
But yeah, it's obviously Picklesburg weekend got the Pittsburgh Vintage
Grand Prix and Shenley Park.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
That's always a big deal.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Hey, by the way, how about them Hans Dude river
Hounds on Saturday National Spotlight CBS at noon. You know,
take a little peak at the river Hounds. If you
aren't going to the game on Saturday, Peko Hans watch
the river Hounds nationally televised game, CBS Saturday at new
(01:03:28):
Let's go Hans Man, Let's go Hans. And then of course,
speaking of soccer, it is all about the World Cup
Final Sunday, Spain, Argentina. Me and Bob are gonna be
floating around Acrosure. That's where we're gonna be to watch
game and everything. I think there's gonna be an iHeartRadio
kiss setup thing. But yeah, like just look for the
big guy with a mustache and my tall friend like
(01:03:48):

We're very this we're very distinguished gentlemen, unique looking gentlemen.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
We'll see a lot of you out Sunday, World Cup Finals. Again,
they're opening the field so you can sit on the field,
no chairs, no blankets because they don't want to mess
the new Stoller's field up. But if you want to
touch grass with us, they'll also have the lower bowl
open so you can sit there. It's the NFL clear
bag policy, so that's in effect. And uh yeah, we'll
(01:04:24):
see some of you. Sunday. Gates open at one thirty.
I think they already have like five thousand people sign
up for this thing. I've been getting text about, Hey,
do I need tickets for this? I'm like, yeah, you
can sign up for tickets if you want, but it's
all free. It's all free. Show up and trying to
get like a head count on people.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
Gates open at one in the match. Of course, at
three pm.
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
We'll see Sunday World Cup Final at at act for
sure watching.
