Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, the ninety six one Kiss Morning Freak Show. We're
blowing up a bridge today here Pittsburgh. What are we doing?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (00:07):
When are we doing this?
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Swinging a miss yesterday on the demolition of the Commercial
Street bridge. You know, the parkway construction and all the
detours are messing everything up, right, And they gave us
the window between one pm and nine pm yesterday and
guess when it happened.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
It didn't, It did not. People were camped out, The
news was set up.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Listen, hey, low drones were in the air. Local news
did what we needed them to do. It was WTAE.
They found a person who was camped out ready to
watch bridge demolition, who told WTAE not his first road
credentials were at He's like I saw the demolition of three.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
We'll get to him. I've been through it. We'll get
to him. But they're supposed to blow up the bridge today, right.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
They said it postponed to today. Yeah, okay, I don't
have an exact time though. We don't have a time. Again,
they're gonna blow up the Commercial Street bridge. They're gonna
slide that new bridge in and uh it should.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Be in place by August third, that is the timeline there.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Obviously it's a.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Big deal around the Pittsburgh area with commutes and everything
and detours and things being shut down.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
But I think just the disappointment. You think, hey, pack a.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Cooler, get a couple, uh, get a couple of lawn chairs.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
We're going to watch a bridge get blown up, and
then you don't get anything, you know, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
The update here from wpx I. I do have an update.
Rick Earl dug in Oi. You gotta you gotta get
the hound dog, rick Earl sniffing around. He'll find it out.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Issues.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
They had issues with some part of the deck that
prevented Cruz from moving some of the equipment in in time.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Okay, and they ran out of daylight. Oh they have
a safe. Uh can you.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Run out of daylight? It's it's the middle of summer.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
This is the most daylight possible, you know, daylight ten
everywhere it's like bright out at nine o'clock.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
So the new demo time yeah today, Yeah, between eight am.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Okay, in eleven am.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Oh, we got morning booms that morning Bard by the way,
coming up around seven ten. We read local news facebook
comments about a bridge not getting demolished that's coming up.
It's Mike and Bob.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Good morning, nty six to one kiss.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
I'm gonna have some sadness, man, I'm gonna have some
real depression once Sunday's done. Oh yeah, I'm not ready
for the World Cup to leave yet. I'm not ready
for it to be over. Man, it's been fun and
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I know.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
It's Mikey and Bob here on ninety six to one kiss.
It was awesome yesterday, man, Messy is inevitable. Argentina comes
back from one goal down late in the match. Messy
assists on two goals. Argentina takes out England. It's not
coming home, England, it's not it's going to Argentina or Spain.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
As I was watching that text you, I'm just like
that that was great. I'm like that was crazy, right,
Like that doesn't happen.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, it's just like they held MESSI don most of
the game and then Messy He's just like, I'm Messy.
I'm just gonna do my thing. So it's it's uh,
it's Argentina against Spain in the World Cup final. Of
course me and Bob are gonna be hosting and out
at the Akroser stadium there on Sunday for the World
(03:33):
Cup Final. Gates open at one thirty. The match begins
at three pm. It's gonna be from MetLife, but they're
doing all these you know, watch parties all over the
country and all over the world. Obviously, it's huge thing.
By the way, the uh the Spain win over France,
eleven and a half million people watched it. That was
in the middle after or noon on a Tuesday. That's
(03:56):
insane that that many people watched a soccer match. I
know it's World Cup and it was like Final four
all that, but that's insane that over eleven million people
watched a soccer match on a Tuesday afternoon three pm.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, so me.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
And Bob are gonna be out there Sunday at Acressure.
People were asking about blankets because you can sit on
the grass at Acrossure, which is a pretty cool thing
just in itself if you've never done that before.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
No blankets, no chairs or anything.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
They're gonna have the lower bowl open so you'll be
able to sit there, but you will be able to
go on the grass and sit on the grass and
watch the World Cup final if you want to.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Gates open at one thirty. The match starts at three.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Me and Bob will be out there if you want
to give us a sweaty hug or a high five,
and hopefully we see a lot of you out there
on on Sunday afternoon for the World Cup Finals. I'm sad, man,
I'm gonna be saying. It's a cool way to send
it off. You know, somebody's gonna be fun getting to
hang out at Actressure with a bunch of you and
watch it sort of as a soccer community, I guess.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
But yeah, it's just gonna be sad when it's over.
But we got we got one more.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Hopefully we'll see a lot of you Sunday afternoon out
of after sure ten new Pittsburgh legends have made the
Strip District Terminal Walk of Fame.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
This is the.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Second round, right davennounced here, all right, we'll get to
that next round six twenty five. Also, the bridge demo
did not happen yesterday. It's gonna happen later this morning.
We will read the Facebook comments from the local news
about a bridge not getting demolished. Around seven ten, it's
Mike and Bob zus on it.
Speaker 1 (05:30):

that's fun too, right, random places.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, hit that little talkback microphone and you can send
us a message and maybe you'll make the show. We
have a code red air quality alert today for air
pollution and fine particle matter Alleghany, Butler, Beaver, Armstrong, Washington, Westmoreland,
(06:21):
and Fayette Counties. Basically, the air outside is unhealthy for
the general population. Hell yeah, all right, we did it.
The smoke, right, Yeah, we got the Canadian wildfire smoke. Also,
it's gonna be like highs around nineties and just gross today.
They're telling everybody just you know, be careful out there,
avoid strenuous activity if you're outside and all that. And yeah,
(06:45):
it's gonna be a nasty day out there today. It
is Mikey and Bob on ninety six to one kiss.
They have announced the Strip District Terminal where they have
the Pittsburgh Walk of Fame. You know, when this first started,
there were ten initial people on the Walk of Fame,
and then Michael Keaton was one of them.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
You know, Batman, Yeah he was. He was the gym.
He came in the town for it. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Did guess what they got, man? They got Mario out
of his house, dude, they got Mario Mariol's coming out.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah, Mary Olm.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
He is going to appear at the induction ceremony October thirteenth.
Uh So the other people that are getting their bronze
stars now on Pittsburgh's Walk of Fame and the Strip.
Myron Cope obviously he made the Terrible towel, legendary Steelers broadcaster.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
He's on there. Martha Graham, a dancer and choreographer.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
All right, Martha, Charles Teeney Harris, famous photographer. I team
a teeny Franco Harris needs no explanation.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
H J.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Hines, Okay you throw yeah. Shirley Jones, actress and singer.
Henry Mancini a composer. Pause, is that the Brad guy?
I'm I think it's a different Mancini for bread. No
way does a man the first star on the Walk
(08:06):
of Famous for a Mancini composer, not just Mancini's bread.
There's probably a spot for Mancini's bread eventually, we gotta
do that later. Now it's just like a just a
loaf of the Mancini's bread or something like that, or
a roll just sitting there. This this is what it's
gonna end up being. Right, We're gonna eventually when we
run out of pittsburgher's that are worthy for their star,
(08:28):
then we're just gonna put items on the walk there
in the slago on eventually Jimmy Stewart, famous actor, and
George Westinghouse the uh, I don't know Westinghouse and everything
that's attached to his name. So those are the new
people who will get their bronze star on Pittsburgh's Walk
of Fame in the Strip district this fall again, October
(08:49):
thirteenth will be the ceremony. Michael Keaton did the first
one and they got married to a meal and there's
a spot for us one day. No, I mean, I'm
not talking anytime soon.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
We're gonna be so far down the strip thistory.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I'm not talking anytime soon. They keep building down there,
they be building down there. It's gonna be so no
chance that we ever do. We don't even have our
own day yet, Bob, we don't.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I don't even have a key to the city yet.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Man, we we.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Talk about all this stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
We ain't got nothing.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
The spot. I think there's a spot down there for
us gonna be.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
We're gonna be all the way down like in an
alley behind West Penn Hospital. She's gonna be like here's
there's rand.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
I mean, they still got it. They still gotta go
through some people. But I think it's gonna get to all.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Right once the things get real thin and they're just
like who else?
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Hey, stuff buff all over there with everybody every morning
all those years. We will read bridge demo Facebook comments
from the local news facebook pages. Coming up around seven ten,
Your chance at Whisky Leaf around eight thirty.

Oh yeah, we were yesterday on the show.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
We were talking about how Bob was on the Bobby
Bones podcast, his big country music morning show. You know,
he's been on Dancing with the Stars and American Idol, And.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I found us because of that. Listening to you guys.
Ever since I'm actually a truck driver from Ohio and
in North Carolina, you guys are the jam. Keep it up, dude.
It's crazy that we've been doing this show so long and.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Like this guy's first taste of us is because you
were on the Bobby Bones podcast.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
We got new truckers out there listening.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
We got new truckers.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
We got new truckers out there.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Oh yeah, welcome aboard, Hell yeah, welcome aboard. All right,
it's time to get to the Pittsburgh Police scanner account
here again, this is a couple people who will listen
to the Pittsburgh Police scanner basically all day and then
post on social media about the things that are happening
in and around our city. Brookline at the park Side
manor Senior living place, my caller said, another resident is
(11:42):
cheating at bingo in the community room and it cost
her money.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Gotta you gotta call the cops.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
You gotta calling, I mean calling swat, calling a drone strike.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
You know they're costing me my bingo money.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
They're cheating. So if that's if that's the worst thing
we got going on, not bad, right?
Speaker 3 (12:05):
How do you cheat at bingo? By the way, is
the person calling like it like? Is this are they
about to uncover like a big operation going.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Down the Brookline Bingo ring?
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Oh my gosh, oh old ladies getting all their money taken.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
I know what's happening. I don't know how you cheat
at bingo And maybe.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
You have like, uh, you know, more cards than you
should or something. All right, well, cheating at Bingo and Brookline.
But then let's get to another one. Here Brighton Heights.
Callers with a construction company said they bumped into someone's
car with their equipment. Thought it was handled. Then the
victim Hudsbands came home and is now running through their
(12:47):
freshly poured concrete. If they hit someone's car with their
construction equipment, exchange insurance or something.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
I'm guessing right, And.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Then the wife said, oh, we're good, right, it's fine.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
He comes home and he's like.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
No, it's that the car scratched.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Well, they're already gone for the days, Like all right, well.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Does he dive into first cement says just running in
the camp?
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Aren't you punishing yourself?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
At that point, maybe he maybe he's like, uh, working
out doors or something like that. Maybe he's got work
boots on it. Comes home from work, he's like, what
the hell happened to the car here? Honey? Oh, I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Construction guys said, I told him it's good. Put their
hands in the cement, signed their name.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
This guy's just putting the body and this guy he's
putting butt jeets.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
That's my concrete. That's what's happening in and around our city.
All right. We will get to today in freak Show history.
Coming up next, also bridge demolition. Facebook comments from the
local news because the bridge demolition did not happen yesterday.
It's scheduled for today. That'll be coming up around seven ten.
And yes, we will get to the story that a
(13:58):
lot of you have probably already seen out of Florida
with the squeeze Ass Granny.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
We'll get to that around seven twenty five. It's Bikey
and Bob.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Hey, we're we're pretty loaded up on the show here.
Coming up around seven ten, we're gonna read local news
Facebook comments about the bridge not getting demolished yesterday. They're
supposed to be doing it later this morning. I guess
you know why the parkway shut down over there by
Squirrel Hill, all the detours and all that went to
everybody's waiting for Yes, they were waiting for you, Sony.
People were camped out. It didn't happen. Then they went home.
(14:32):
They said, uh uh, I need to go to the
Katie k Facebook comments section the voice all right, So
we'll get to that around seven ten. We will get
to the story about the Florida squeeze Ass Granny that
you may have seen online. So many of you sent
that to us. It's got everything in it. It's a
Florida story. It's got a granny squeezing ass uh seven five.
(14:55):
We'll get to that. We also had your chance at
whiz Kalifa tickets this morning around on eight point thirty.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Here it is Mikey and Bob on ninety.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Six one Kisslet's get to a quick talkback message before
today in Freak Show history.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Talkback messages on the show send.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Them through the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by
the pavement groups Pinnacle. Here.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Hey, definitely need some joy in my life. Looking forward
to the watch party at Akrocuer Stadium.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Oh yeah, Sunday, Me and Bob are gonna be floating
around to Akrossure for the World Cup Final watch party Spain, Argentina.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
Have questions as a grown up who has a tiny human,
do you like bring blankets? Bring chairs? Are their chairs there?
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Like?
Speaker 1 (15:34):
All right? I get this. This is this is a
question that I would have to write.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Blankets are not allowed, so you can't take blankets onto
the field at acroassure. You can't take chairs on the
field at Acroature. And I also know why too. They
got new They got the new field, so we can't
screw it up with the watch party. That grass is
kind of important. It's nice grapp so you can sit
on it, you can lay on it. If you just
want to watch a World Cup final on the acrossure grass,
(15:59):
you can spread off.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
That can happen. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Also, the whole lower bowl basically is going to be
open depending on how many people show up, So if
you just want to sit in the seat, right you
just treat it like a steeler game.
Speaker 6 (16:09):
You know, I'm too old to be sitting on the grass.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Yeah, I know, I understand it.
Speaker 7 (16:13):
A chair or something.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Lower bowl will be open for you.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
Sure has terrible policies.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
What do you bring? What can you bring?
Speaker 6 (16:20):
I should probably look it up, but I'm asking you.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Have a good day, y'all. All right, so no blankets,
no chairs. You can sit in the lower bowl or
you can sit and lay on the agroature grass and
then clear bag policy. Treat it like a stealer game
as far as that, I hope that answers any questions.
If anybody has any more questions, they can let us know.
But hopefully we see a bunch of you out on
Sunday middle of the afternoon.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
It's gonna be fun. World Coming Final. We just time.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
I'm so sad we say goodbye to the World Cup
on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Come on, all right, it's right around seven o'clock.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
It's time for us to take you back to a
moment to show that made us laugh, made us smile.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
It is time for today in freak show history.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Here we go. Oh, surprise, surprise, somebody got naked.
Speaker 8 (17:16):
She was in her kitchen when she saw an eye
popping sight a naked man in her own backyard.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Now we blurred the video.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Wow, naked man in the backyard. Just random naked guy
in your backyard. That's got to be pretty startled.
Speaker 8 (17:27):
Actually, Osby hopes the man gets some help.
Speaker 7 (17:30):
This person need some additional help. Is there a drug
problem or something.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Of that nature.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Yeah, it's always what you go to when you see
this random naked person in public. A lot of these
are drug related, alcohol related.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
That's all we always tell people. Don't do the hard
drugs or don't drink too much. You can take in
the backyard. See next thing you know, you're naked in
the Backyardley.
Speaker 8 (17:47):
Says the man did try to open her doors, but
they were locked, thankfully.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Hold on, no, why did he get naked though? There's
a reason behind it.
Speaker 8 (17:54):
Police identified him as the Marlow divau.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
All right, to Marlow, why do we have a nude tomorrow?
Speaker 8 (17:59):
He supports. He told officers that God told him to
get naked.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Man, I don't know tomorrow God sent that message. I
don't know, man, I don't know. But listen, I don't
want to tell people what religion they should subscribe to
or what they should believe in. Who's to say this
guy's lying. Maybe that's how God's gonna like, if God's
a real thing, maybe that's how God's gonna reintroduce himself.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
You know, a naked to Marlow, allow.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Me to reintroduce myself. My name is God, Gee to
the Od. And He's just gonna send a naked guy, right,
He's just gonna ease into it. He's gonna see how
we react. So he picked a naked he picked to
Marlow down in Atlanta, and just like, all right, tomorroww
this is God. Hello, tomorrow, God voice, you want to
use reach me?
Speaker 1 (18:43):
God?
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Right, And then He's just like, I need you to
get naked and tell people you know I said to
do this, and he and then God's just waiting to
see how we react to it. And of course we're
all laughing at naked tomorrow, and really he's just like, man,
God told me to do this. Nobody's gonna believe it.
Speaker 8 (19:00):
They took him to the hospital and Denton JL before
releasing him on a signature bond.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
The go naked tomorrow, and I don't think anybody was
believing here center of the drugs. That's probably the drugs.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Though I don't think anybody's believing that God told him
to get naked. It is a naked person making the
show once again to Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Kiss Hey.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Gracy Abrams got a new album that's coming out tomorrow,
Daughter from Hell. There's gonna be a hour long iHeartRadio
album preview tonight with Gracy Abrams.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
You can hear it right here on ninety six to
one Kiss.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Nine pm tonight, presented by Capitol One, and then tomorrow
for New Music Friday, we'll be playing some tracks for
Gracie's new album, Daughter from Hell. I love Gracy Abrams, man,
she rules. Our dad's great too, JJ Abrams.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
He gave me, He gave me lost.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
He did gave me Star Wars movie that some Star
Wars fans didn't like to but all Star Wars is
good Star Wars for me.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Nice job, jj Abrams.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
I didn't connect those that was her dad until like
maybe a month ago for real.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah, had no clue.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, no, Jjon Abrams, the famous director and everything. Yeah,
it's it's his daughter there, and she she talks a
lot about that too. I guess I just missed it.
I don't know. I mean she's definitely talented, but also
in like interviews and stuff, and when she gets asked
about her dad and her famous family and all that, she.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Talks about nepotism.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
She's like, yeah, absolutely, I know that I started with
an advantage, a little bit of a privilege.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Yeah, she's great though. Also she is great. It is
Mikey and Bob here on ninety six one kiss.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
It is time to get to some bridge demolition Facebook comments. Now,
the Commercial Street bridge was supposed to be demolished yesterday.
They're doing the whole detour and everything over by you
know Squirrel Hill and that dude.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
The news was set up. They were they had drones
in the air. People were set up too, you know
every angle.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
People were lined up with like camp chairs, like just
hanging out waiting and watching. Uh. They are supposed to
blow it up this morning between eight and eleven, so
we'll keep an eye out for that. But yesterday there
was disappointment the Commercial Street Bridge. Everybody loves a bridge
blown up, right, and then it didn't happen. And then
(21:11):
we said, all right, let's take the pulse of Pittsburgh.
Here we go to the most dangerous place on the internet,
the local News Facebook comments section. You win, Here we go.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
You're going to a very deep dark place of the Internet.
It's time for six to one kiss Facebook comments.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
The day they were supposed to demolish the Commercial Street
Bridge didn't happen, and then people decided to let their
opinions known in the Facebook comments. Nelson be here. I
guess you can say they blew it.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
I'm Nelson, all right, Nelson Okay.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Lynda asked Boo.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
I had to screen hi my laptop since noon.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Dave Pete, I got an uncle who makes trees Boomers man,
he makes him in his garage. That would have blown
this thing down by now, Pendo, let me know if
you need to call him. Yeah, it doesn't sound like
you're an doesn't sound like he cares about safety or
anything at all like that.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
It's not stump boomers.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Okay, Miranda L should just call in this ambellis and
shoot fireworks off the overlook there.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
That's not a bad idea at all.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
You know, honestly, when we demo anything in Pittsburgh, there
should be fireworks involved. Can you imagine the joy if
they would have postponed the actual demo but like, hey
we still got fireworks.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
That would have been awesome. It would have been amazing.
That would have been awesome.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
It's like when the Pirates lose like ten to two,
but you got like a drone.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Show after You're like, ah, it's not that bad.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Dad. Again, we're reading local news Facebook comments about the
Commercial Street bridge not being blown up yesterday. Thomas K
tailgating all day tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
I got a group of fifteen people going out.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
We packed sandwiches and beers already all right, man, and.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Tom has had the truck loaded ready for this morning.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Desiree R.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Waited out there sweating my ass off for two hours
and nothing.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
I gotta work tomorrow, Han, I can't sit around all
day and watch damn bridge. Randy T. I'm drinking beers
over Greenfield was sitting on the porch my old lady's house,
waiting to hear.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Boom and didn't get nothing.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Chris g wasted too much time on this damn bridge.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Today I'm done. Oh Jesus, there it goes done with bridges. Yeah,
we're sending bridge demolition to the crossroads.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
I was there today, they blowing up.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
I'm never coming back. That's it.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
And a menim's bridge demolition, and a minima's bridge demolition,
and one more here a commercial street bridge demo delayed
until today. Facebook comments from local news Lynn s. My
husband is a walker around the house farting all night
telling me do you hear that? He must have been
the bridge explosion. Oh come on, kiss it ain't gonna
(24:03):
be regular pickles out there today to kick off Picklesburg,
which kicks off today at noon, going.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Through the weekend. You know, this thing's been going on
for years now.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
We're just we're the city of pickles two one hundred
thousand people coming down to see some pickles. Sweaty pickles
today though. Oh yeah, there's no chance you're leaving with
a dry pickle.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Pickles sweat oh man, sweaty pickles today.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Picklesburg starts at noon today, goes till ten pm today, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
It's a weekend of Picklesburg. Here in Pittsburgh it is
Mikey and Bob on ninety six to one Kiss. This
is an incredible Florida story that had to do with
the grandma and a license plate.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
So many of you have set us this Florida store.
Here we go, listeners of a free bail. It's time
the sun stage, Yes, set up and again that's another
Flora the story.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Down to Florida we go here.
Speaker 9 (25:05):
When Nancy Dellstrata went to collect her mail, she got
quite the surprise a new license plate with her vehicle
registration renewal.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Nice Nancy.
Speaker 7 (25:14):
I looked at it, and I said, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
I don't think so, Nancy says. For the license plate,
the plate reads sq z. All right, everybody picture this
in your head. If you don't know what this is
yet axcush.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
So you see that a license plate first, and that's squeeze.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Squeeze, squeeze A five five A five five okay, oh.
Speaker 9 (25:36):
But from a distance those five fives can be read
as s's.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Nancy has a squeeze ass Florida license plate.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Squeeze blank yeah, nah, huh.
Speaker 7 (25:48):
I don't think a woman that lives in a senior community.
It's going to be seventy seven years old next month.
We'll be driving around with what this plate.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
Has to say.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Now, Nancy, I don't know if you're new to the
senior community, but that's actually where most of the squeezing happens. Yeah,
sometimes they got a Warren senior communities because STDs are
being passed around because.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
You know, eventually down in Florida.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Uh huh. We've heard stories before from places like the
villages where they have like outbreaks because people are just like, hey,
I'm gonna die in the next five years.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Let's get gnass. I mean, you were gifted the golden
license plate.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
It is and it's Florida two, which makes it just
even better.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Squeeze ass Old.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Nancy's got a squeeze ass license plate.
Speaker 9 (26:32):
The plates become the talk around her retirement community, especially
the men. We were with her when she showed it
to one of her eighty nine year old neighbors.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
All Right, Nancy's about to reveal her squeeze ass license
plate to her eight neighbor.
Speaker 7 (26:47):
And this is why I received from the DAMB for
my new license plate. That's good for ten years.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Good, good, this guy just says good. I mean you
can hear like just come out of his mouth. This
guy's this guy ain't got much time left. He's like,
squeeze ass lights the plate good again? If you're just
joining us Nancy down in Florida.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
I love it. It's Nancy. I love that she has
such a granny voice too, in her seventies.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
And they sent her an s q z A five
to five license plate which reads squeeze ass.
Speaker 9 (27:23):
We were told anyone unhappy with a plate can turn
it in for another one for free.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
No, you don't want to do that license flight out.
Speaker 7 (27:32):
I'm kind of resigning to it.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
So Nancy's now saying maybe I will keep the squeeze
ass plate.
Speaker 7 (27:38):
And I figured maybe it was just justin to be
on my car.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Oh, Nancy's she's leaning into it.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Now.
Speaker 7 (27:44):
I can handle it if I get a few honks
here and there.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Oh my, Nancy, care more than honks. Man, Careful what
you ask you might let eighty nine.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Year old next door.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Careful what you ask for you get.
Speaker 7 (27:58):
A couple honks. Being over seventy, I might like it
for you, honks.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
You know what, Nancy, you deserve a few Yeah, you
belong right in Florida. Nancy into your senior community. Now,
your squeeze ass. Never turn it in, Nancy, never turn
it in. And you know what she's she's like the
most famous person in that senior community too. And guess
(28:26):
what she's gonna get a couple couple honkss.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
That eighty nine year old guys ready to go. It
is Florida making a show once again.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
In the new Netflix series where Will Ferrell plays a
golfer called The Hawk that's outstreaming today. You know what
I'm thinking. Here's what I think is going on here.
Will Ferrell's got this golf series, The Hawk, right, Yeah,
Adam Sandler put Happy Gilmour to on Netflix. I think
(29:01):
we are going here for a hawk Happy Gilmore.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
Oh, you're right.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
I think they're gonna put this series out right. Let
it cook.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
You're right, and then it's gonna be Will Ferrell as
the Hawk against Happy Gilmore in Happy Gilmore three. That's
what I'm thinking is going on here with Netflix and
these golfs.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
You're right, that's what I think. I'll watch it. I
will too.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Yep, it's Mikey and Bob here on ninety six one kiss.
If you miss any of the live show, don't worry.

It's actually my birthday today, Harry.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Let's get to another talkback message here. You can send
them through the free iHeartRadio ap brought to us by
One Team Media.
Speaker 11 (31:31):
Hey guys, Shannon from Cherry Tree. I'm so glad that
you're back in vacation. But I just wanted to say
something that I thought was funny. So I was at
the Veterinarian office, say in Evansburg, shout out to the
Evansburg bed.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
They're awesome.
Speaker 11 (31:41):
But it's so funny the conversations you hear, because it's like, oh,
I got my dog, from a pure bread breeder out
in California. And I'm looking at my cat thinking I
got him from behind a taco bell. He was chewing
on us.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
You know, run to your purpose.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
But it is what it is.
Speaker 11 (31:54):
So I think it's so funny those conversations. Anyways, Love
you guys. Happy birthday, Bob.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Okay, it's you know, it's not birthday. We're not doing that.
That's New Year's Day. That's such a good point. Sitting
in the vets. Oh, I got mine from pure breeding.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Yeah, this thing was eating a deer carcass behind a
taco bell. What's the cat's name? Yeah, yeah, we got
we got one of our cats. Cat.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah, we had a dumpster cat.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
Yeah. She used to eat frogs, frogs. Yeah, she's like
eating frogs. Yeah, that's how I found her. Yeah, my wife. Yeah,
she was up at Skydive, Pennsylvania where she works. There's
just cat that I was hanging around eating frogs like
grogu just eating out of a dumpster. Like you want
to come home, come home with us. We'll feed you
(32:46):
better than this. Yeah, Carly. Carly was a good cat. Yeah,
she's no longer with us anymore. I had a great run.
A little Sweetie was her nickname. I see a little sweetie. Hey,
Paul Skins is a huge fan of meat. I know
that this guy likes hot dogs because we've seen him
obviously with his lady lady done. We've seen them in
(33:10):
their kitchen before, with his own personal hot dog rolling.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
I mean he's got the sheets, big weenie or whatever
they call it, he does, right.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
I did not know how big of a fan Paul
Skeins is of hot dogs until these couple clips have
come out.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
There's something weird happening with like Skans and like do
reporters know that he just he's emotionless and.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Like, yeah, he didn't.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Let just ask him about hot dogs and see what happens.
I'll tell you, I don't know, Like what excites Paul Skien.
It's hot it's hot dog. This guy snaps into a
different person when you ask him about hot dogs. Paul
Skan's fanto meat. We'll get to that around seven to
fifty five. Whis Kalifa tickets around eight thirty. Your chance
to win one thousand dollars this morning. Try to pay
(33:53):
your bills around nine ten, hate your bills. On ninety
six one kiss the Canadian wild fire. Our smoke is
still making its way in our area. We got a
Code red air quality alert today. It's gross out highs
today around ninety degrees. Basically every county around here has
a Code red air quality day, which like usually the
(34:16):
lower levels, like all right, elderly people, people with health issues,
they can't be outside too right right today, it's like
nobody should.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Be outside and smoke it's coming in today.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Basically, the air outside today's unhealthy for the general population.
So alraight, hey, baseball is going to be back in
our lives. The second half of the baseball season kicks
off here this week. The Pirates will be in Cleveland
taking on the Guardians this weekend. And let's get to
Paul Skins here, because we know Paul Skins enjoys hot dogs.
(34:47):
We've seen him have his own personal hot dog roller
in his kitchen, which is incredible. Paul Skiings was on
the Jeff Passing podcast Jeff Passing covers baseball for ESPN,
and you know, they were just talking about what guys
talk about in the clubhouse, seasons really long, and then
Paul sken starts talking about great Americans. But listen, listening.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
We had a conversation in our clubhouse, name your three
greatest Americans. Got some great answers, George Washington, Ben Franklin,
guys like that, and then.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
You got Nathan Nathan Nathanthan's hot Dogs, Nathan's hot Dogs.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
Nobody really knows his last name, but Nathan. He's a
great American. Joey chests Nutt Nathan, I don't.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Know, Okay, Skeen's it was you, Like, yeah, you were
the guy and said it great Americans, Nate Well, Nathan
Nathan's hot Dogs. Joey chest Nutt, who said Nathan's I
don't know, it was you, dude. You're a hot dog guy.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
George Washington, Nathan the hot dog guy, you know, Ben.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Franklin, Joey chestnut Nathan is a great American. Yes, I
think so.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
Nathan's famous hot dogs have been around for like two
hundred years now, one hundred and fifty.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
But it's a hot dog man.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
There's nothing more American than a hot dog.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Dude. I'm telling you, Paul Sken's lights up when you're
asking about hot dogs.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
I don't know, it's really weird.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
And then the new Era, New era, right makes the
hats and make baseball hats all that stuff. Right, New
Era did a blind ranking with him right where you
got to choose one for five.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
But you don't know the pictures that are coming up. Huh.
They made him blind rank hot.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Dog rollers because they know he's got one, because they
posted it on the internet before. Right, So this is
Paul Skeins. Obviously this is radio. You're not gonna see
the hot dog rollers, but you will see the joy
in the breakdown of every hot dog roller he sees.
I'm telling you, Paul Skins. You asked him about hot
anything else? Look, yeah, yeah, okay, ask him about hot
(36:34):
dogs always. Like, let me tell you, Nathan's one of
the greatest Americans we have.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Okay, this one is, uh, this is the real deal.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
It's sixty hot.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Dogs, sixty hot dog roller at one time.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
You can put buns in there, all right.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
So he ranks that one at two.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
He saw the hot dog roller and instantly knew that
it was at the sixty dog roller.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
It's like sixty dog.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Roller here, all right, let's get him another one here.
This is Paul Skins looking at hot dog rollers. Blind
ranking is a little one, a little personal one. Hot
dog maker.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Five. You can't you can't really entertain with that.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Yeah, not enough.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
That's what the hot dog roller is all about. Nice nostalgia.
Hot dog maker, same thing. No buns though, that's four,
all right.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
So he's got the old one four and two, and
then he's about to see a hot dog roller that
is is big.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
It almost looks like a ferris wheel hot dogs.
Speaker 9 (37:30):
Right.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
I did not edit this.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
This is what happens when they show Paul Skins this
giant hot dog roller in his hot dog roller blind rankings.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Oh man, this is the real deal.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
He's still staring at the hot dog roller all. He's
studying the hot dog roller. Okay, he's not ranking it yet,
he's still taking it all.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
He's still staring at the hot dog roller.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
Yeah, that's that's legit. Got buns in there somewhere that
looks legit. I wonder, I'm man, he could put in there.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
I wonder how many he could put in there. I mean,
he ranks that one at one, but then he's got
one more left, and they show him his own personal
hot dog roller.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
To say one for this one is yeah the og
og This is this is what it's all about. Yeah,
I guess I got to put it three because it's
a blind ranking. But you know, this one's got a
special place in my heart for sure.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
All Right, they didn't need to put sensual music behind past.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
They didn't know what they did.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
He saw that one that was like a ferris wheel
of sixty hot dogs, and he he just connected. He did.
It's like he raged quitted. He was like it just stopped,
like batteries went out. He just stared at a hot
dog roller for a good like ten seconds. It's a
real deal right there.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
I don't know a lot about this guy's personality.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
He's very like you know, Sidney Crosby, like cancal Media
is just like when do we ask him? Even like
so he's so how do we get his personality? Do
we ask him about Levy? Now he's not gonna give
to me, ask him about hot dogs?
Speaker 1 (39:05):
And this man lights up all right.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Coming up next on the show, we get to the
local news. Obviously we're gonna have a bridge explosion this morning.
It didn't happen yesterday with the Commercial Street bridge. Local
news finds a yinser that was at the bridge explosion.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
We will get to that. Well, the bridge explosion that
didn't happen.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Right, We'll get to that coming up next year where
Khalifa tickets around eight thirty.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
It's my Kim Bob.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
Listen, I'm not gonna freak out about this. I understand
that it's July. I just got to throw it out
there real quick though, because I got something teller, Okay,
can't I get a little bitter. Let's go penns Man
Man Penguins are gonna open their season in Philadelphia on
September thirtie.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
If that came out, it's gonna be on TNT.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Penguins gotta wait until Saturday, October three for the home
opener against the Montreal Canadians.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
So there you go. They were not one of the
teams that was.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
Selected to like open the season, so right right, they
have like an opening night to be on that. But
full schedule comes out later today depends will open the
season in Philadelphia and the home opener October three against
the Canadians. It's Mikey Bob here on ninety six to
one kiss World Cup Man. Me and Bob are gonna
be out an acrossure on Sunday. Come join us watch
(40:22):
the World Cup Final. It's Spain Argentina. As Argentina came
back late in the game, Messy with two assists on
both the Argentina goals. And if you're watching the World
Cup in English, you are missing the magic of Andres
kent Tour on Telemundo. This is what the goal from
(40:46):
Argentina that put them up sounded like on Telemundo yesterday,
Messy and gona tell you you know for it?
Speaker 4 (41:07):
Man?
Speaker 1 (41:12):
How many you think he's got here? A couple more
going again? Are we wearing down here?
Speaker 2 (41:22):
Okay, that's just what he does, man, he's got go.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
Yeah, that had to be the last one there, Go.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Start the cut the last one he had. He knew
he didn't have the full goal in him, so he
had to pull the cord there and he had to,
you know, he had to deploy the parachute on the
last one. Go starting the curtin. That One's.
Speaker 1 (41:56):
A couple of weeks of goal yells. You know that
voice is just love the World Cup.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
And uh, there's a big watch party set for Akrosher
on Sunday, Gates open at one thirty. Me and Bob
are gonna be there if you want to come hang
out with us. You know, high fives and hugs. Picklesburg

Picklesburg early in the morning when the crowds aren't that bad, right,
and then you come over to Akrosher and watch Spain

Speaker 1 (42:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
You can get all the details on Akrossuer site with
the policy and what you can and can't bring and
no blankets, no chairs. Lower bowl is where you can sit,
or you can sit on the grass at Akrossure, which
is also a pretty cool thing. By the way, they're
gonna be doing a twenty minute halftime show for the
World Cup Final on Sunday. Shakira, justin Bieber, bts in
Madonna will all be part of it. U. There are
(42:48):
some broadcasters across the world who are angry though, because
it's an extended halftime and they're like, quit messing with
our football, as they call it. Oh no, Yeah, the
BBC will not air any other performances. They're just gonna
do halftime coverage with people analyzing the first half of
play out of protests. Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
That's kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (43:07):
I mean, you're not gonna see beabs or BTS or anything,
but that'd be a pretty cool halftime show, and we'll
be watching it from the grass at Akroschure.
Speaker 1 (43:16):
On Sunday if you if you want to join us.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
All right, now, let's get to the local bridge explosion
implosion whatever.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
That did not happen yesterday. It was delayed.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
It's scheduled to happen this morning at some point here
before ten am. Right, WTAE was out there and they
find a guy who's out there.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
His name's John Titus.
Speaker 12 (43:40):
John Titus not only lives in the area, but runs
the street and trail almost every day, so he's no
stranger to the work that's been going on here.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
Yeah, he knows what's going on down there, watching. Yeah
he's been watching.
Speaker 12 (43:50):
But regardless of dust or noise, he just says he's
super excited to now see his third implosion.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
Okay, so let's throw out the credentials out. This guy said, Hey,
not my first rodeo here. I've seen a few different
implosions during my time. So here he goes, this is John.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
Tight is here.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
I saw h three rivers imploded. Goush, you are the
only one, dude, He was the only one there.
Speaker 1 (44:15):
Nobody else saw.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
I love that it's his opening line too. He's like,
I've been through this before. I saw three rivers imploded.
I was there, okay, all.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
Right, I saw saw the chickens arcade.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
You can hear the excitement in his voice. I got
another one to see here too, imploded, which was neat
to say.
Speaker 7 (44:36):
Yeah, we actually saw.
Speaker 12 (44:38):
One man come down here with his binocular It's just
got to get a little closer look to see what's
really going on.
Speaker 8 (44:44):
It's such a spectacle.
Speaker 12 (44:45):
He tells me that he and his mom are going
to live stream this event on their TV, and I'm
sure lots of other people will.
Speaker 7 (44:50):
Do the same.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
That's right. The news reported that somebody was out there
with binoculars. Another man came down with binoculars. And now
you said, me and mom are gonna watch it on TV.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
Yeah. I love the local news, breaking news.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
I love a man with binoculars wants to watch a
bridge bridge implosion, you know.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
And then good old John Titus like, not my first road.
I've been through this arcade.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
I saw three rivers probably back out there this morning. Probably, man,
they're gonna explode. The thing blowed up, implode it before
ten am. John Titus. You gotta get out there, man,
You gotta add so when something else gets blowing'd be
like I was there.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
For Commercial Street, Local News. All hands on DAK it is.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
It's all hands on DAK all in bridge implosion coverage
on the angle.
Speaker 1 (45:37):
This is like a winter storm at this point.
Speaker 2 (45:39):

Speaker 1 (45:40):
We need different boxes up. Get call people in. Hey
gonna cover the bridge and I'm gonna talk to people.
Want to talk boy crowd and heard the boom.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
We're imploding the bridge this morning, apparently before ten am
because we didn't do it yesterday, so obviously, oh man,
does this mean if they implode it this morning, then
we're gonna have to do a round of bridge implosion
Facebook comments on the.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
Shore for somebody to complain it boom wasn't loud enough,
by the way, I just called our.
Speaker 2 (46:07):

Speaker 2 (46:27):
Yeah, it looks like dude, everything they said was like wrong,
and then they're just like us screwing hit the bob
boom they blewed up at eight o'clock. It's that seven
fifty am. Penn Dot learned people that within the next
thirty minutes and then.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
They just hit it a boom. All right. So, uh,
it's Mikey and Bob here on ninety six to one kiss.
All right.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
We've been following the implosion of the Commercial Street bridge
that was supposed to happen yesterday, then it got delayed
until this morning, and the the lady who does traffic
for us, Bonnie Diver, has been sent these emails all
morning stop.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
It's unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
She's probably gotten three out of four emails wrong with
giving us wrong times for this.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
But dude, honestly, everybody missed this. Yeah, it seems like
everybody miss Bob. Bob is going back and watching the
local news.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
They blew up the Commercial Street bridge at eight o'clock, okay, and.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
Everybody was in like their little top of the hour
thing in there. Yeah, the top of the hour.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
You got illegally run like the Katie k They all
rolled into it like as the you know, the dust
cloud is okay, now, there's definitely video of it people,
But when when it happened live, I don't know if
the local news even got it live. Now they're gonna
run all day the bridge implosion video. But when it
happened live and the news has had like live cams
(47:47):
and I.
Speaker 3 (47:47):
Think they missed it, It's kind of hilarious. Depend on
just like, yeah, with the next thirty minutes's getting what
was all?
Speaker 1 (47:53):
Right?
Speaker 2 (47:53):
So hold on, let me let me read you the
emails that we got here from Bonnie Diver, our traffic
lady who's like a hawk on the cams, right.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
She said at eight o'clock she sends the.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
Email here and it says PENDT just gave me the
thirty minutes till yeah, eight point thirty will be the time.
And then the next email from Bonnie Diver and all caps,
holy you just imploded. Everybody missed it? Every Yeah, that's great,
great job everybody. What happened here? I wonder if people
(48:26):
were actually up and out of their house sitting there
this morning like they were all day after day, Like.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
What happened here? How did everybody miss the uh, she's
gonna you're gonna set this up and teased.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
It a little more.
Speaker 6 (48:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:40):
Yeah, it's just uh oh man, oh man, I'm in
the local news Facebook comments already here just hurt it
and plumb hurt it, Forest tills everybody reporting it. Yeah yeah,
oh yeah, I heard the boom, one says, watching a
commercial while the bridge imploded.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
Great job, Katie came, yeah, it's oh here's another one.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
You missed it.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Great job, losers. You know what did you know? What
the local news? You blew it. You freaking blew it.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
Today.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
All we ask is we want to see a live
bridge implosion, and you blew it, you know, Penn dot whatever,
you're not.
Speaker 3 (49:24):
You're not in the clear either. I nuts just trying
to get the job done though. Those guys are out
there in the heat. They got to deal with to
clean up the dust, the cloud and whatever else settles
and falls.
Speaker 2 (49:35):
I just love that this thing shifted so many times
and then it ends up we don't even really know
what it happens. And then like right at eight o'clock,
somebody hits the damn button and nobody's even live.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
Yeah, unbelievable. At local news. You missed it.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
Nice job, all that build up and you freaking a
nice job. Also also Penn Dot, you coulda you could
have told this on man, he'sed it a little longer
and told the exact time. I know, you can't just
be like, all right, we're doing it like probably ain't thirty,
never mind me boom listen. I hope though, like the
(50:11):
person like, I hope this wasn't a miscommunication where somebody said, hey,
blow up the bridge at ain't thirty.
Speaker 1 (50:16):
Then guy's like, huh, blow up the bridge.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
Boom, you know, and they weren't ready as he's like,
oh crap. Somebody just trips against the button. Where's Frank at?
Speaker 1 (50:23):
Somebody fought Frank Like, what the hell happened here? How
did they miss the implosion?
Speaker 2 (50:29):
That's fun.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
Well the bridge is down now and there's just dust everywhere.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
I heard it.
Speaker 1 (50:34):
I heard the boom. I melt it in my button.
Speaker 2 (50:40):
I was on the toilet because I got the explosive diary.
And let me tell you, I think that bridge implosion
shook the last of the diary and right out of
my body. All right, here's your chance.
Speaker 1 (50:49):

talkback message sending through the Free iHeartRadio appro to us
by one Team Media.
Speaker 7 (51:43):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (51:43):
They exploded the bridge right at eight am. Yeah, sounded
like thunder from where I was at. I wish I
kind of saw it. I watched the live It was
pretty cool. Not gonna lie ye thunder.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
I heard the boe. We were watching WAE and it
seems like the news was not ready for this, and
pen Dot was not really letting them know, hey, we're
bowing it up at eight am? Why was there so
much miscommunication with it's kind of a big deal that
(52:16):
we blew up a massive bridge. All these TV stations
like news directors or whoever is definitely on the just
go what wa and local news been horny for bridge
implosure for weeks now, why did and they missed it?
Button you'll see it on the noon news, in the
evening news. But when it happened at eight am, no
(52:37):
one knew what was happening. At eight am.
Speaker 1 (52:39):
Oh, it just kind of went.
Speaker 2 (52:40):
They gave everybody like a window right right, yeah, And
it was like at eight am they said, all right,
we're in the Earth seven fifty five. They're like, all right,
it's in the next half hour window here and then boom,
just like right at eight am. Just they missed it live.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
But yeah, you'll see the video.
Speaker 2 (52:58):
Here's my question, though, they delayed it yesterday, right yeah,
Why did we blow up a massive bridge and we
have all this dust everywhere on a cold red air
action day.
Speaker 1 (53:14):
It sounds like one of the stupidest things.
Speaker 2 (53:17):
We could have done for the air today. It seems
like common sense, like you could ask a third grader, Hey,
the air's bad today, should we blow up a bridge
and make a lot of dust?
Speaker 1 (53:30):
It just doesn't seem like this was the smartest thing.
Speaker 2 (53:33):
To do today and news missed it.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
That was the best, man, you know what.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
I kind of like it better that the local news
missed it when the bridge got blown up. All right,
let's get to a couple talkback messages here.
Speaker 12 (53:48):
It's our buddy raccoon Tim, Hey, Mikey, and Big Bob,
your boy raccoon Tim Mikey.
Speaker 1 (53:54):

Speaker 2 (53:57):
Oh, come on, raccoon Tam.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
Thanks Tim.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
It's not Bob's birthday. Today's birthday is New Year's Thanks.
Let's get to another one.
Speaker 13 (54:06):
Morning, my gig, morning, Bob. Can we get a diarrhea
warning from Bob like we do the fog warning? Okay,
like that explosive diarrhea parasite? Yeah, there are cases in
Allianny County, I know, all.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
Right, Yeah, when it's foggy out in the morning, Bob
gives a fog warning, you know, public service, public safety.
Go ahead, Bob, Yeah, and go ahead. No, it's no, no,
(54:45):
it's not regular diary. It's it's it's explosive. Okay, I'll
do it. Yeah, Okay, Well you gotta let people know
that it's not just regular diarrhea they're gonna get Okay, No,
I think it's better if we call it.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
I mean explosive. Just sounds like you know, you're blowing
up the toilet. Try watery.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
I can't believe local there's missed the bridge bridge implosion.
Speaker 1 (55:29):
Ten new Pittsburghers are gonna be added to the Walk
of Fame in the Strip District. We'll get to that
list around eight to fifty five.

me and Bob are not fancy people at all. I
drive a twenty seventeen Hyundai Ionic, fully paid off, just.
Speaker 1 (56:13):
Hit over one hundred thousand miles last week.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Bob drives a Chevy Tahoe that he actually got from
Sea harpar Auto.
Speaker 3 (56:20):
Group right in like twenty sixteen. It's got over two
hundred thousand, right, I got two hundred.
Speaker 1 (56:25):
Thousand on it. Man, to listen, We're in uh, we're
we're in the big miles right. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
I think the Sea harpar Audo Group is giving us

their site and look at their new vehicles. Just like
you guys, let us know something that you want and
we'll see what we can do. See we can get you.
And we've never that'll be awesome. We've never had that before. No, like,
nobody's ever partnered up with us where it's like, yeah,
we want to give you guys cars. I think I
(56:53):
might be getting a purple Jeep Gladiator. Oh man, dude,
I love purple.
Speaker 1 (57:00):
I thought I got a purple tape.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
I'm like I wouldn't buy that myself because my wife
would be like, what are you doing?
Speaker 1 (57:07):
It'd be fun to drive, it'd be fun. So I
think that's fun day.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
Thank you to everybody over at Sea Harperano Group for
support and the show. We appreciate it. They are adding
ten new yensers to the Pittsburgh Walk of Fame. This
is something that started last year on a strip district
and they got Mary Olimu this year. If you remember
the inaugural ten that were on the Walk of Fame,
Michael Keaton of course Batman, famous Pittsburgh actor, he was
(57:35):
the guy that was there for it.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
Have they put a rooney?
Speaker 2 (57:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
If they put a rooney on you, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
You know, we'll get to it. We'll get to it, right.
Speaker 1 (57:42):
Does each rooney get their own star? Eventually?
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Eventually we'll get all the roonies in there. Uh this
year though Mary Omi was gonna be there on October thirteenth.
The the other nominees are Myron Cope of course he
made the Terrible Towels, Steelers broadcaster legend, Arthur Graham, a
dancer and choreographer, Charles Teeny Harris photographer, Franco Harris of course,
needs no explanation.
Speaker 1 (58:08):
H J.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Hines, of course Hines. Charlie Jones an actress and singer.
Henry Mansini the composer. Yeah, that's that one. Stunned me
because I see Mancini. I do not think of any
composer at all, Henry Mancini. Was he doing like side
quest with bread, Like, hey whatever, we got a Mansceni
(58:29):
on the Walk of Fame. We needed a Mansceni in there, right,
we got a man scene he feels right. Jimmy Stewart,
famous actor. George Westinghouse, just that name out of Westinghouse,
just Westinghouse. I don't know he built the country or
something like that, you know. So those are the ten
that are going to be going in to the Strip
District Walk of Fame on on October thirteenth. And Mary
(58:53):
o'mu is gonna be gonna be part of that, by
the way, speaking of just Mary olemeu. And you know
Pittsburgh Penguins, Penguin's hockey is gonna be back in our
lives sooner than we expect here. Uh. The Penguins will
open the season September thirtieth in Philadelphia.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
So start down the road.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
TNT is gonna carry the game. Flyers eliminated the Penguins
in the playoffs, so little let's go home opener is
not gonna be till Saturday, October third against the Montreal Canadians.
Speaker 1 (59:24):
Hey, that's pretty sweet, the home opener on a Saturday night.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
Yeah, that building's gonna be like, we're gonna be starved
for hockey at that point. Man, we're gonna be starved
for any sports. After the World Cup's done here. You know,
the sps were on last night on ESPN because it's
like the day without sports. Obviously, the World Cup matches
on yesterday. Second half, man, all right, second half buckos,
do something for us.
Speaker 1 (59:49):
Gotta do something for us. Second half buckos.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
You're all gotten we needed in a Steeler I know.
Speaker 1 (59:58):
We just gotta get through these next two weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
It's sort of a sports wasteland and then Steelers camp starts,
and one Steelers camp starts. You don't need anything else
because you're gonna be caring about who's the third on
the depth chart for left tackle. You know, your chance
to win a thousand dollars. Try to pay your bills
coming up next year. On the kiss Morning Free Show
(01:00:20):

chance to win one thousand dollars as we try to
pay your bills here on ninety six to one Kiss,

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
It is Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Let's get to some more of your talkback messages brought
to us by the Pavement Group.
Speaker 10 (01:00:40):
Morning, Mikey and Big Bob down from Trafford. Heye, say,
welcome back from your vacation. Hope you guys had a
wonderful time, okad, And I just wanted to put this
out there for anybody from Trafford, okay, or Trafford area,
or anybody that comes past Angelado Body. Okay, if anybody
sees me out there cutting my grass in underwear, mind
(01:01:01):
your business. It's one hundred degrees and all right, somebody
has to cut the grass anyway. Have a great day, guys,
Love you and thanks for all the laughs.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
I don't know if she's joking or Dawn from Trafford
really needs to cut the grass at angel wateral body
in Trafford and really is just like I gotta be
out there. It's gotta get done. It's underwear time. All
right down from Trafford. We appreciate you. Let's get to
best friend Nicole here wants to talk about the Commercial
Street bridge implosion this morning, which ended up being hilarious.
Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
Because it was supposed to happen yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
Then there was a bunch of like emails and floating
around if people are just like, all right, it's gonna
happen before ten, and then it's like, all right, we
got the half an hour window between eight o'clock and
eight thirty, and then right at eight o'clock, boom, there
goes the bridge.
Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
Thank you, Bob. That'st rienda gold.
Speaker 6 (01:01:47):
I went from like devastated when he said the bridge
had exploded because I was literally leaving my house when
it should have happened. And I live, yeah, close enough
to the Squirrel Hill Tunnel that I thought I would
like hear it, feel it some thing.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
And I was like, man, I'm so bummed.
Speaker 6 (01:02:02):
I like didn't feel it here it or anything. And
now I'm just crackling, crackling, cackling, laughing, cracking up.
Speaker 5 (01:02:11):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
It's just it's just funny to me that the news
goes nuts over stuff like this because they know they
can get users to watch a bridge blow up.
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
They waited all day yesterday, had camera set up, and
every spot had drones up.
Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
Had I think the one station still have a helicopter. Yeah, yeah,
Ta still has a helicopter. They won't get rid of it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Everybody. Everybody's got drones.
Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
Now. There is no reason to put any human being
up in a helicopter for anything news related.
Speaker 1 (01:02:41):
We have drones. And it got delayed and everybody goofed it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
And then right at eight o'clock when no one expected
the bridge to be imploded except the people that were
hitting the button. All right, what did we.
Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
Say half an hour warning?
Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
Here? I think every station was either in commercials or
doing like their top of the hour open to the news.
Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
All the ones I saw is when they cut to it,
it was already a cloud of smoke. What you see
here is a cloud of smoke because they did the
bridge already and we we missed it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
By the way, are you in the local news Facebook comments?
Do you think we're gonna have around here by the
end of the show? Yeah, all right, all right, because
earlier in the show we did people that were mad
that the bridge didn't blow up yesterday.
Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
So around nine to forty today, we we're transitioning right
now local news Facebook.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
Comments about the bridge getting blown up around eight am
this morning, we will read the comments.
Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Around nine we got the worst possible air today.
Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
It's gross out highs in the nineties, Canadian wildfire, all
that stuff that Hayes is all around.
Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
Throw a bridge implosion on top of it. Why did
we blow up the bridge this morning? Why did we
do this on a day where.
Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
It's like, hey, uh, the highest red level alert we
can get for the air quality. It's not old people,
it's not everybody working out. Everyone shouldn't even be outside
today doing strenuous activity because the air is so bad.
So let's blow up a bridge. Let's throw that in
the middle of it.
Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Let's get to a talkback message real quick here on
ninety six to one kiss it is Mikey and Bob
talk back messages brought to us by One Team Media.
Speaker 14 (01:04:16):
Okay, so my sources told me that the reason they
postponed the demolition of the bridge on Parkway East.
Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Okay, now this is big here.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
If she's got source sources, why they delayed it from
yesterday today.
Speaker 14 (01:04:30):
Yeah, it is actually because jelly Roll is coming down
from bell Vernon.
Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Okay, listen, this joke happened like a couple of months
ago on the show Bob when jelly Roll got divorced
from his wife Bonnie of ten years.
Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
I saw this. Bob said jelly Roll was moving to
bell Vernon, Okay to do a performance before him.
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
No, he's not there. No online jelly Roll performance before
the bridge. Implos wanted to come down from bell Vernon.
He doesn't live in Bellevi no performance in the city.
Speaker 14 (01:05:03):
And they were going to project it on the side
of the window.
Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
That's real.
Speaker 14 (01:05:07):
That's why they had to postpone it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
That's what my sources said. You know, I saw that
online rumor.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
She had sources that were telling her that that Melvernon
