Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the 96.1 Kiss Morning Freak Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Did you hear anything when you were on your walk
from your vehicle to the station this morning, Bob, out
in the parking lot?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
You hear anything?

Speaker 4 (00:12):
No.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Yeah, I heard, like, a growling noise. Are you serious? Yeah. No, thanks.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Dude, I was the only... I mean, we're here early.
I'm here real early. I'm the only one in the
parking lot, and I.

Speaker 6 (00:28):
No wait hold on i'm trying to make the no
i can't make the noise that didn't sound very violent.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Now well i'm not saying it was violent there's not
like a lion in the in the weeds out there
the trees it's gonna come eat me it's no longer
no i heard so it's like a smaller animal i
didn't see an animal but i heard.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I can't do the noise I mean, it was probably
a raccoon, right? I'm trying to do the noise, but
I can't do the noise.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Wait, let me see.

Speaker 6 (00:59):
All right, do the noise one more time. Maybe it'll
help if I put... I'll close my eyes, okay? Maybe
it'll help me if I put my paws up like... No, wait,
that wasn't it. No, give me another chance. No, I
can't do the noise.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Let me listen to raccoon mating and just see if it...
It sounded like a sick animal. It sounded sick, okay?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, it might have. Oh, boy.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
It might have been raccoon sex. It might have been raccoon.
I think it was a raccoon. It sort of sounded
like that. But it didn't sound like.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
There were two, though.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
It sounded like it was just one raccoon.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Don't look at me like that. A lonely raccoon looking
for a mate?

Speaker 6 (01:43):
It said, whoa, wait till I climb up on that thing.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Six foot nine?

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Yeah, so, you know, here's my big ass out in
the parking lot ready to just run or kick some
small furry woodland creature at any time.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I don't know if that's what the animal thought, though.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
The animal thought, woo, wonder what sort of baby I
can make with that thing.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
All right, let's have a show today. We got Jonas
Brothers tickets around 8.30. We got a chance for you

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Listen, it's my call whether it's birthday week, birthday month,
or just birthday.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
That's true. My call.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I know you don't like celebrating birthdays, really. I don't
need a birthday week at all. I have one day
that's my birthday, and I don't even really want to
be celebrated on that day, to be honest.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
That's just what people say.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Your birthday is September 3rd.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
It is, yeah. September 3rd. It's coming up on Thursday.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
My birthday is September 4th.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Oh, September 4th. That's Beyonce's birthday. Birthday twins! That's Beyonce's birthday, too.
And her buddy DJ Bonick.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
DJ Bonick's birthday is September 4th.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Oh, there you go. Yeah, she knows.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Beyonce's birthday is September 4th.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
She knows, yeah. All right, see. Hey, us September, our
early September people, we know. We know Beyonce's got a
birthday on the 4th, too. We know that's Beyonce's birthday.
We put that in the calendar, too.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
And happy birthday, boss.

Speaker 6 (03:56):

Stream the Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcasts.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
Always a little nervous to play his talkback messages.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
It is Bob from Oakmont here.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Oh, geez Louise.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
Hell of a start to a message right there. That's
a yinzer start to a message right there.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Ah, geez Louise. All right. Bob from Oakmont here.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
What the hell?

Speaker 8 (05:08):
I got all these people talking to me saying they
hear me on the radio.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (05:13):
Well, I guess you'll have that on these big jobs,
I guess.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
But everyone's been saying they've been hearing me on the radio. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Mike, for what it's worth, I pooped my bed the
other night.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
All right. Happens. Shouldn't, but it happens. Let you know.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
Might be the drinking, though. For what it's worth, it
very well might be the drinking. It's Mikey and Bob
here at 96.1 KISS. Hey, Mario's done, huh? Yeah, yeah.
Mario don't even own a sliver of the penguins anymore?
This is now official?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Mario Lemieux, no longer a minority owner of the Penguins.
He still might be involved with the team in some
aspect because the Hoffman group that came in and bought
the Penguins, the majority of the Penguins from Fenway Sports Group,
They love Mario, and they say whatever Mario wants to
be part of, like, sure. Mario, you want just to

(06:11):
sit in your suite and watch the games?

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Sure.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
You want to be, you know, in the iceberg costume
for the opener?

Speaker 7 (06:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Sure, you know, whatever you want, Mario.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
The Mario shares were shared with his buddy Ron Burkle,
who was the owner with him for the longest time, right?

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
So they probably, you know, the Hoffmans came in and
paid so much for the team. It probably raised whatever
their share was up to astronomical pricing.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
And that's like, let's cash in.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
So Fenway Sports Group bought it from Lemieux and Burkle
for about $ 900 million in 2021. They sold it to
the Hoffmans for $ 1. 7 million less than five years later.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
So those couple shares that Mario had, the stock went
through the roof.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
So Mario and Burkle made their money on the original sale,
and then they still had minority stakes.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
So when it sold, it was like, oh, yeah, sure,
why not? Let's throw some more.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Millions into the account.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Probably doesn't hurt anything. Yeah, so.

Speaker 6 (07:09):
And then Mario can come back and buy his way
back in if he wants, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yeah, it seems like the Hoffmans really want a good
relationship with Mario, but as of right now, Mario Mew,
Ron Burkle, they don't own any of the Penguins. It's
like the first time since Mario basically bought the team
and saved the team from relocating that he doesn't own
any of the team now. He's always been a sliver
of a minority owner, owned the team and all that stuff.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Even though the thing with Fenway and him, it's just weird, like... unspoken,
him not showing up, you know.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Or something weird or something a little off, but yeah.
You know, I, I, I just hope Mario's around the
team and around Pittsburgh and keeps doing all the things
that he does.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Cause he is, he is the best of us.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Also the penguins have a new rink side reporter. Do
you see that Katie Florio? She grew up in South Carolina,
previously worked with the Washington capitals, which makes me think, no,
but then hold on. She was born in Johnstown. Her
dad played for the Johnstown Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
In the ECHL.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
Her mom's from Pittsburgh, went to Pentrafford, so she's got
family here still.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
So, you know, local, then moved away.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Did her whole career, came back, and now she's back
with the Penguins, who it seems like she sort of
grew up watching. So Penguins will have a new ringside
reporter soon. with Sportsnet Pittsburgh. Congratulations, and I guess welcome
back to Katie Florio. All right, we got Jonas Brothers
tickets around 8.30. Your chance to win a full trip
to Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival around 9.10.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Okay, hold on.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Everyone went to school with a kid that could.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Burp like that. You're right. Every one of us did.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Stream the Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcasts.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Hey, code red today. Watch out. It's going to be
highs in the low 90s.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Pittsburgh public, a lot of those have already gone to
remote learning today, tomorrow, and Thursday.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
But it is going to be sweaty and swampy.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Last squirts of, like, 90-degree weather, it feels like, right?

Speaker 6 (09:21):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
September now. We're getting there. So just be careful out there.
It's going to be extremely hot today. It's Mikey and
Bob on 96.1 KISS. All right, Bob, real quick, let's
get some of this here.

Speaker 9 (09:31):
Roger!

Speaker 3 (09:32):
To learn something together right now.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
It's time to find out why the hell is this
trending with Mikey and Bab. Dollyfests. I want to go bad.
The Dollyfests are happening.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, Dolly Parton's estate says there's going to be two-day Dollyfests,
Nashville and London in 2027. They said it's going to
be parties of the life. uh, parties of a lifetime
instead of like a public memorial. So it's just going
to be Dolly party. I can't even imagine how many
people that'll draw. Well, I can't even imagine the performers

(10:09):
that are going to want to be part of everybody
honoring Dolly Parton.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Yeah. You're going to get some of the biggest acts
I think. Right.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Just, uh, Go up there and like sing one of
Dolly songs or yeah. So Dolly Fest will be in
Nashville in London 2027 in place of a public memorial. Hey,
this is crazy and something I never thought would happen
in our lifetimes. They found and they found the guy

(10:36):
guilty who shot and killed Tupac Shakur. Like, I mean,
one of the most legendary rappers of all time shot
and killed like, I don't know, 30 years ago, whatever
it was, an unsolved mystery. Everybody always thought it was
this Dwayne Davis guy, also known as Keefy D. And
because he started like doing interviews and. posting memoirs and everything,
basically just admitting to what happened.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
This dude, yeah, told on himself in public basically over
and over again.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Yeah, so that's how we get to, all right, dude,
if you're just going to say you did it, let's
put you in front of a jury.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Oh, they say you did it too.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
And now you're going to jail. Dwayne Keefy D. Davis
found guilty in the murder of of Tupac's court.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
2026.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
They found Tupac's killer. Did not think it would happen ever.
I thought it was never going to be solved. And
now that's done. Just got to figure out who killed
Biggie now.

Speaker 6 (11:26):
And then there'll be a big mystery for a lot
of millennials.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
That'll be, you know, shut that door. Ella Langley is unstoppable.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
She has jumped over a bar song, Tipsy by Shaboosie,
Old Town Road by Lil Nas X, which those two
were number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for
19 weeks. Ella Langley is still number one with Choose
in Texas this week, which means she has now been
number one with that song for 20 weeks on the.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
There is only one other song, and it's All I
Want for Christmas is You, Mariah Carey, which doesn't even
seem like it should be something that's considered.

Speaker 6 (12:07):
It's like a cheat code. Every year it comes back
and goes number one for the holidays.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Ella Langley, Choose in Texas is basically the biggest song
of all time, other than Mariah Carey's holiday song on
the charts.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Just incredible. I saw it, too.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
They got one in the chamber because is there a
Drake remix?

Speaker 3 (12:25):
I saw something. I saw something about that.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
I feel like the Drake remix is just enough to,
they might go for Mariah. The Drake remix may make
me believe they're going for, for Mariah.

Speaker 6 (12:36):
Push this song a couple more weeks until Mariah time
comes along for her to repop back up.

Speaker 10 (12:41):
You know?

Speaker 8 (12:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Might as well. I like it. Langley, man.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
I think Ella, uh, I think everybody loves Ella Langley.
We're Ella fellas, right? I've been watching videos about her.
She's goofy. She's funny. She's got a bunch of dogs.
She adopts dogs and pets.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yes. Did she have eye surgery? Did you know that?
She had eye surgery? She had something similar. Like as
a kid or recently?

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Both.

Speaker 6 (13:02):
She had something similar like I have with my eye
where the one eye doesn't. It's like a lazy eye,
but it doesn't move because the muscles around the eye
never developed correctly. Yeah, you're legally blind in one eye,
even though you can see fuzzy out of it, sort of.

Speaker 9 (13:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
But like, even if I wasn't legally blind like that,
I still wouldn't move because the muscles around the eye
never developed. Yeah. She has something similar to that. And
she's had like surgery corrected and still not perfect. And
that's why she has the, uh, the bangs and everything too.
She says, really feels like it protects her.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I never, look at you Ella fella doing some deep
diving on Ella Langley that yeah, she does.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
She's awesome.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
And when you find somebody awesome like that, you just start,
you know, following them and find it out more about them.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
And yeah, I never knew that about her.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
I always saw her bangs and I'm just like, Oh,
that's an interesting look. I never knew there was like
a reason behind it, man. What a run she's on
right now. And she's got a, You know, she can
do this for two or three more weeks. She's going
to take over Mariah.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
Carey, which, you know, Mariah will come right back and
throw her punch during the holidays.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
She'll pop back up around Thanksgiving. Other than Mariah.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
Carey, if you look at the Billboard chart, Elle Langley,
Texas is basically the biggest song of all time.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
That's kind of wild.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
We still might have a Drake remix coming out to
push it a little bit farther.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
All right.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
We'll get you today in freak show history coming up next. Also,
have you seen the collaboration between Duncan and Febreze?

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Yes. Office ladies. It's real.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
How delicious is this? You'll be able to spray the
scent of fresh donuts. We'll read the Facebook comment section
about it coming up around 710. Jonas Brothers tickets around 830.
It's Mikey and Bob. Thanks again to our friends over
at the C.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Harper Auto Group because I'm driving around in a purple
Jeep Gladiator. Bob's in his white Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie
on our Mikey and Bob podcast sponsored by the C.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Harper Auto Group.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Now, I ask to say thank you to one of
our wonderful listeners, Ashley.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
She found me yesterday.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
And dropped off a Paul Skeen's duck on my Jeep.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Yeah, I had it parked outside my house. I mean,
it's a purple Jeep.

Speaker 6 (15:13):
If you see a purple Jeep with a dealer license
plate and a bunch of ducks, it's probably my Jeep
from C. Harper. Yeah, she lives in the area, and
she found my Jeep yesterday, and she sent me a message.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Go look at your Jeep. Got a Paul Skeens duck, dude.
They got Skeens ducks out there?

Speaker 6 (15:30):
Yeah, dude.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
Whoa.

Speaker 6 (15:31):
Got a Paul Skeens duck for the C. Harper Jeep
Gladiator now. All right, by the way, speaking of Jeep ducks,
before we get to you today in Freak Show history,
let me get to this message.

Speaker 11 (15:41):
Hey, Mikey, it's your local furry. It's definitely been a while.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (15:45):
I've been really sick. But anyway, your ducks, you got
to secure those ducks, Mikey, whether it's Some safe-to-use two-sided tape.
Make sure those ducks are secured. They can't be free-balling it.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
All over your gas.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
See, that's the problem right now. I got free-balling ducks.
You got free-balling ducks? If I take a sharp turn,
some of the ducks slide a little bit. Or the
cowboy hat will come off one of them. There is
a danger factor with having just loose ducks all over
the place. Yeah, can't have the ducks free-balling, apparently.

Speaker 11 (16:18):
Get those suckers stuck down, and then you don't even
have to worry about them anymore.

Speaker 12 (16:22):
No anxiety.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
All right.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Just got to tape my ducks down. Tape your duck down?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
I didn't think that.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Phrase through before it came out of my mouth. All right.
Time for Today in Freak Show History, where we take
you back to a moment in the show.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
That made a laugh, made a smile. Here we go.

Speaker 6 (16:41):
Today in Freak Show History.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Today in Freak Show History. We got a local naked man.

Speaker 6 (16:56):
We got a naked in Newcastle situation that happened.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Nude in Newcastle, yep. Oh, little nudie nude castle. Nude castle.
Nudie nude castle.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
A man was walking around downtown nude castle.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Nude castle. It is. It's nude castle. It's going to
be a tough one for me to get through.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
A man was walking around downtown Newcastle completely naked. Three
callers called the police, said naked man was walking across Highland.
Police arrived to find a man without clothes on, completely naked,
lying in the grassy area between the road and the sidewalk.

(17:38):
He had reportedly told police the naked man that he.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Had been drinking whiskey. Hell yeah. Drank his pants right off.
Had a couple drinks and put ass on grass, officer.
Nude in Newcastle. I'm feeling good. He identified himself as Bloomer?
Hell yeah, man. Like, my name's Bloomer? Bloomer's having a
day out there. And he said he knew he was
naked in a public area. I'm Bloomer.

Speaker 8 (18:01):
I know it.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Hey, you had some whiskey? You know what I'm doing. Hey,
what are you going to do? Bloomer on the whiskey,
drank his pants off. Living his best weekend life, you know?

Speaker 6 (18:09):
He's facing one count of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Nude in Newcastle. Putting the nude in nude. Newcastle. All right.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Naked person making the show once again.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Coming up around 740, we're going to milk, milk, milk, milk,
milk some Steelers content. Steelers GM Omar Khan was talking
to the media yesterday about Joey Porter Jr., the trades
that the Steelers made, and if they plan on four
quarterbacks on the team for the whole season. So we'll
milk some Steelers content with Omar Khan around 740 here.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
It's 96.1 KISS, Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Duncan and Febreze, the combo that nobody knew they needed.
There are going to be some Febreze Dunkin' Scents that
come out, so you'll be able to spray flavors like
Cinnamon Roll, Strawberry Frosted Donut, and Vanilla Latte.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Wow. They're available only at Walmart.

Speaker 6 (19:15):
But there is Dunkin' Febreze now, where you can basically
spray the scent of donuts.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
And then... We read the Facebook comment section.

Speaker 8 (19:27):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
You're going to a very deep, dark place on the internet.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
It's time for 96.1 Kiss Facebook comments.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
There is a Dunkin' Febreze collaboration where you can make
it smell like donuts.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Ashy S here. Laud, help me.

Speaker 6 (19:43):
My husband's going to make his dump smell like a
vanilla latte and ruin coffee for me forever.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Yeah, and we're off. Shannon G here.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
Cinnamon roll smells like poopery in my grandmother's bathroom growing up.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
I'm not a fan at all. Marley N, nothing like
taking a dump and masking it with a strawberry frosted donut.
Isabel W, worked at Dunkin' for six years. This looks
like my nightmare. I can't even smell sweet coffee anymore.
Sydney D, I never understood car air fresheners. What are
y'all animals doing in your rides?

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Farting up a storm? Yeah. A farted up latte smell? Yeah. Yeah,
of course. Did you not fart in your car?

Speaker 12 (20:25):
What?

Speaker 3 (20:25):
That's a place to fart when you're in there by yourself,
you know?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Again, reading Facebook comment section here after Duncan and Febreze
have collaborated on basically donut air fresheners and sprays. EJM here,
real question is, can I eat this spray? I'm asking
for a friend's safety. I'm going to say no.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Yeah, probably not. I'm going to say no on that.
Probably not. Once you smell it, though, you probably want
to taste it. You know?

Speaker 6 (20:50):
Marge just under her desk, just getting licks in, getting
sprays in.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Marge turns into the office huffer.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
You find her under a cubicle, just hitting the Duncan
Febreze like she's doing.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
Widgets.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Julianne L.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Here.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Oh, here we go. You know someone's going to get
addicted to huffing this stuff. Yep, there it is.

Speaker 6 (21:17):
Them and roll uh jerry r this is gonna be
perfect after i have the dunkin dumps and one more
here britney l just me seeing this minus the febreze
logo and my big back self thought it was creamer
all right uh we will do some jonas brothers tickets
coming up around 8 30 stick around for that milk

(21:38):
some steelers content around 7 40 it's mikey and bob
yes Czar Larson performing at our iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
That's coming up September 18th and 19th out in Vegas.
You'll be able to hear it here on 96.1 KISS.
Stream it on Disney Plus and Hulu. It's Mikey and
Bob on 96.1 KISS. Let's get to a talkback message
here brought to us by The Pavement Group.

Speaker 13 (22:01):
I think I heard it's going to be moister than
a moister today. Do we get a hot Bob check-in today?

Speaker 8 (22:07):
I took my daughter to work here about 10 minutes
ago and holy heck.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
It's just, it hits you in your face when you
walk out the door.

Speaker 6 (22:15):
Yeah. You know.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
Moisture than a moisture.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Let me go back in the files here and see
if I can find, oh, there it is. All right.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
This is a day when Bob lost his voice and
we just made him say funny phrases.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Like, I'm moist. than an oyster.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
By the way, I do believe with the temperatures in
the low 90s and a heat advisory today, tomorrow, and Thursday.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Yeah, we're there. We're at moister than an oyster, Bob. Yeah,
we're there. Confirmed? I'm moister than an oyster. All right.
Careful out there.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
All right.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
I guess this is the point of the show where
we give an update on the Phantom Menace Pepsi Star
Wars machine up on Mount Washington that was there for
like 30 years. And then the social media influencer that
lives in LA now, but is originally from Pittsburgh decided
to come into town, threaten the whole city, basically saying, Hey,
I'm coming to steal your vending machine.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Whole city's on notice, right?

Speaker 2 (23:06):
We got people on Mount Washington wanting to protect it
and everything. And then it disappears and he puts another
one in its place. That's obviously a different one. That's
that's painted. And, uh, And then we found out what
his plan was because he told me that he was
going to fix it up and he was going to
return it. And I said, you could have started with that.

(23:31):
If this guy would have came into town and said, hey,
I'm going to fix up the vending machine.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Everybody would have been like. Does it need fixing? Okay, cool.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
I mean, it probably would have been cool storytelling, too,
if he would have just done it that way as
opposed to putting out these heist videos like he was
some bad boy stealing something. Dude, you got a million followers,
but sometimes pranks aren't the way to go. And you
did this to the city you're from, dude? What made
you think this was a good idea? So obviously we've
been talking about this. He put out a response video yesterday.

(24:02):
He deleted all his original videos after we called them
out and everything like that. And he posted a video
yesterday with the Jar Jar Binks mask on. Looks like
he might be in his parents' basement. I know who
the guy is. I don't really want to say where
he's from because his real name is Braden. His last
name is not Days.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Right, right. And if I say what city he's from,
there's not a lot of Bradens. Right, right.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
So I think people will probably know exactly who it is.
And it's not like I want to, like, dox this
guy and his family now or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
But it was just... It's just stupid. You know, it
didn't take long for people to be like, I know
this guy. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
So he put a video out basically saying, I just
wanted to fix it. And it's not a big dude.
You threaten the city. You were like you were coming
for the city. It's so dumb. Let's get to some
talkback messages here about it.

Speaker 14 (24:52):
Hi, Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 13 (24:53):
Law school friend Rachel down in South Carolina.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (24:56):
It was just catching up on the podcast.

Speaker 6 (24:58):
And heard about that horrible robbery of the Star Wars
vending machine.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
I mean, it's not a robbery. Like he took it.
He said he had permission. I just think that is
lame as hell.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
And I heard about the Yins Avengers.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
Yins Avengers was the, uh, the guy on KDK that
they were interviewing here. We got to get a task
force here of all the Yins are legends.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
I mean, we need Joe Manganiello on the case. Michael Keaton,
Mike McCarthy, Wiz. I need Mikey and Big Bob.

Speaker 8 (25:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
That's our guy, Steven there. He was, uh, up on
Mount Washington doing an interview with Chris Hoffman from, uh,
from KDK about it, the Yin's Vengers.

Speaker 9 (25:34):
Does that mean that Yinster Domus, the standing wiper, is
a Yin's Venger?

Speaker 3 (25:41):
That's what... I mean, come on.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
All right.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Anyway, happy birthday, Bob.

Speaker 13 (25:46):
Didn't realize you were birthday twins with Mikey.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Okay. No, it's my birthday on Thursday. No, say thank you, Mike.
That's how you say it. No.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
She wished us happy birthday. Yeah, it's not my birthday today.
It's not yours either. Your birthday is New Year's Day.
All right, let's get to another one here.

Speaker 12 (25:58):
Good morning, boys.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Hey.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
Hey, I wanted to say to you, Mikey, I saw everything.

Speaker 12 (26:02):
I saw your video for the weekend. I was like, ugh.
And I could see the frustration in your face.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yeah, I was frustrated about this whole thing because it's stupid. Like,
we don't have to play along with your prank. Like,
he was begging me in the DMs, wait till I
put my video out. Wait till I put mine out.

Speaker 6 (26:18):
Why?

Speaker 2 (26:18):
So you can just monitor. We don't have to play
by your dumb rules. Like, we don't have to. And
then I built up trust with him. He told me
exactly what he's doing.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
And then I put a video out telling the whole
city exactly what he was doing. Why? So we can
all move on from this stupid social media prank this
guy wanted to do.

Speaker 11 (26:36):
And I just so needed that passionate speech you gave. I,
you know, struggle in having a bad day myself and
like we all do sometimes.

Speaker 12 (26:45):
And I needed that.

Speaker 11 (26:46):
So thank you.

Speaker 12 (26:47):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
That's why we are ride or die for you, because
you are ride or die for us.

Speaker 12 (26:53):
Love you guys.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yeah, a lot of this guy's followers are, you know,
definitely on his side.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
I mean, he has millions of followers that obviously aren't
from Pittsburgh.

Speaker 5 (27:01):
Right, right.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Dude you're from here and you still did this all
right let's get to another.

Speaker 8 (27:05):
One mikey and bob it's ryan tell that dude to
get that crap the hell out of here if he
was originally from pittsburgh he would have never posted on
his post oh we got a tip about this vending
machine that's been here for 30 years like if you
lived here then you would have already known about it
this is so whack it's.

Speaker 6 (27:25):
Just stupid it is just it's whack it's he's in
the basement with a jar jar binks mask on it's
like dude we know who you are we know you're
from here why would you do this to yourself like
this is speaking against avengers is magnello uh doesn't he
live over in the south hills now oh dude you
know we could i'm not saying this kid or yeah

(27:48):
is in the south hills.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
But if he was he was If he was. I
did my best, Bob.

Speaker 6 (27:54):
We could show up at his front door as Maganella
and just take that damn thing.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Back if we wanted. Oh, my gosh. You want to
talk about a video? knock knock.

Speaker 6 (28:06):
Who's there can you imagine just somebody opening their door
and it's me you and joe like dude just just
our sizes in general like how big is joe manganello
he's got to be like six foot three six four
yeah six five he's six he's six foot five i'm
six foot nine bob you're like six one six two

(28:28):
right yeah You know.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
You're a big guy. I'm a tall guy. And he's
just knock, knock, knock. She's just chiseled. Oh, my gosh.
The Avengers are here. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
I mean, he's also a superhero, too. You know, he's
he's Deathstroke in the DC universe.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Knock, knock. Who's there? Mikey Bob Deathstroke. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
What are you doing in the South Hills? We want
the vending machine return.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
All right, we're going to milk some Steelers content. Find
out what Omar Khan, the Steelers GM, has to say about.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
The trades, the four quarterbacks, and Joey Porter Jr. It's
Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Hey, next Wednesday, September 9th, NFL football, real football back
in our lives.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
They're starting on the Wednesday? Yeah, yeah, Patriots Seahawks. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Wednesday, September 9th, that opens the season. And then are
they doing a Thursday night game after that? Then Thursday
is 49ers Rams. That's the, that's the Australia game.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Next week, the NFL's back. September 13th for the Steelers
at home. Home opener, season opener against Atlanta. It's time
to milk some Steelers content, Bob. It's Mikey and Bob
on 96.1 KISS.

Speaker 6 (30:02):
And we like to do this from time to time
where we just want to talk about Steelers and Omar Khan.
the Steelers GM he was talking yesterday about the trades
about Joey Porter Jr. and keeping four quarterbacks milk milk
milk milk milk the Steelers content milk milk milk the
Steelers content Omar Khan talking about the trades.

Speaker 9 (30:25):
You know I just want to say thanks to Broderick
and Caleb um yeah you know those guys I appreciate
their services here and um I still think they're really
good football players, and sometimes a change of scenery is
good for everyone.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
Sure.

Speaker 9 (30:37):
I think they have a good future in the NFL.

Speaker 7 (30:40):
Oh, man.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Omar kind of caught himself there. Not a long one.

Speaker 6 (30:44):
Yeah, he was about to say they're going to have
a long future, and then he said, well.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Maybe not.

Speaker 6 (30:50):
We probably would have them both if I thought they
were going to have a long future.

Speaker 9 (30:53):
I think they have a good future in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Yeah, not a long future, but a good future. Milk, milk, milk, milk,
milk the Steelers content.

Speaker 6 (31:03):
All right, now Omar Khan was talking about, you know,
linebacker Landon Roberts who didn't make the team, but a
lot of people are thinking they're going to bring him back.

Speaker 9 (31:11):
Not closing the door on that by any means. I
have a lot of respect for E.

Speaker 13 (31:16):
Robb.

Speaker 9 (31:17):
We have some history with him, and he's done a
good job. Love the player and love the person. Certainly
not closing the door.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
Man, love milking the Steelers content. We're talking about a
guy who's not even on the practice squad. The door's open, though.
The door's open. All right, we know four quarterbacks made
the cut. Omar Khan was asked if he plans on
keeping four quarterbacks all season.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
Like, what's the play here? Those guys earned it.

Speaker 9 (31:40):
I mean, I can't tell you how the season goes,
but there's no reason for me to believe that those
four guys won't be here all year.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Oh, man. He's excited. Four quarterbacks, you know.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
I mean, somebody's leg could fall off week one. We
think about these things all the time, but once the
season starts, we go week by week.

Speaker 6 (31:56):
Melt, melt, melt, melt, melt the Steelers content.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
Joey Porter Jr. questions, here they come.

Speaker 9 (32:02):
In the next couple weeks, not just Joey, but anyone
that we feel is healthy and available to us, we
expect them to practice.

Speaker 12 (32:09):
So he does not have an injury?

Speaker 9 (32:12):
He got taken off. Our medical staff felt like he
was good to go.

Speaker 10 (32:16):
Regarding his contract in Europe, why is the deal not
gotten done with him?

Speaker 9 (32:20):
No, I won't go into– like any other player, we
won't go– we won't talk publicly.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
About the negotiations per se.

Speaker 9 (32:26):
You know, Joey knows how we feel about him, and
I still hope Joey– finish his career here.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
Has he told you that he anticipates on practicing?

Speaker 9 (32:35):
I'll keep those conversations between us.

Speaker 5 (32:37):
Do you anticipate a.

Speaker 6 (32:38):
Deal potentially getting done by the start.

Speaker 10 (32:41):
Of the season, knowing the policy you have?

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Yeah, we won't.

Speaker 9 (32:43):
First of all, our policy is going to remain in place,
but I'm not going to talk about negotiation.

Speaker 6 (32:49):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content!

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content!

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Steelers at home against Atlanta. September 13th. Oh my NFL football,
the real NFL football back in our lives next week.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
I got your.

Speaker 6 (33:09):
Chance at Jonas brothers tickets coming up around eight 30
and a chance for you to go to Vegas for
our I heart radio music festival and win a thousand
dollars around nine, 10.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
961 Kiss. The Mikey and Bob Podcast. Look it over there.
Who is it? It's my best friend, Bob. Hello. Good morning, Bob.

Speaker 13 (33:28):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Stream the Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you get your podcasts.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
If you miss any of the live show, get our
Mikey and Bob podcast on the free iHeartRadio app brought
to us by the C. Harper Auto Group. By the way,
our friends over at C. Harper, Bob, I do think,
excuse me, they are getting us more Mikey and Bob C.
Harper Jeep Ducks. They got another order in for them? Yeah, dude,
because I'm like out. I got a couple left. I only, yeah,
I'm like, I'm just, I'm handing too many out, I think.

(34:00):
You know, I didn't pace myself. But then again, I just,
I love them. I think that was part of their plan, though.
They're just giving us a couple to give to the streets,
and then they're going to come with more and more
and more. All right, so we might have some more
Mikey and Bob C. Harper Jeep Ducks floating around the city.
By the way, I was talking earlier about how my
Jeep Ducks slide in my window, like up on the dash.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Yeah, you have a lot now. Yeah, I do.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
I do have a lot now. I got a Paul
Skeens one yesterday. Let's get to this talkback message brought
to us by the Pavement Group.

Speaker 12 (34:28):
Free balling ducks.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Yeah, they're free balling. They're all over the place.

Speaker 12 (34:31):
They sell dash mats on Amazon.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Amazon.

Speaker 12 (34:35):
If you get one made out of the right material,
it's cut especially for your vehicle.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
Oh.

Speaker 12 (34:40):
You get the right material and you put some Velcro
on the bottom of the duck and stick it to
the mat. And there you go.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
Oh, nice. Yeah, I never knew that. Yeah, that makes sense.
It's serious, you know? It's serious.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
All right, let's get to a call here. Mikey and Bob, hello.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
Good morning, Mikey and Bob. How are you today?

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Buttons! How are you, Buttons?

Speaker 4 (35:01):
We're good.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
Good to hear from you.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
I'm doing great. First of all, I wanted to call
and say I missed you guys because I haven't talked
to you. Sometimes it's hard for me to get through,
but it's fine.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
It's all good. We miss you too, Buttons.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
And I went to the Bruno Mars concert, best concert ever.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
He's fantastic, isn't he? He's unreal.

Speaker 4 (35:23):
Oh, it was fabulous, fabulous. It's my third concert that
I've seen a film, and it was off the chain.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 6 (35:34):
It was fabulous.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
All ages, all genres. It was the best thing ever.
And I just want to say good morning. Good morning
to Mikey and Duvall. Good morning. Good morning to you.
Good morning. Good morning. The station in the bird.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
Good morning. Good morning.

Speaker 8 (36:02):
Do you.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
I love you both.

Speaker 4 (36:05):
You have a wonderful week.

Speaker 14 (36:07):
Go Bruno Mars.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
Thank you so much, Buttons. We love you.

Speaker 8 (36:10):
Bye, Buttons.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
You have a good week.

Speaker 6 (36:12):
You too.

Speaker 7 (36:12):
Bye-bye.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
All right, we got Jonas Brothers tickets coming up around 8.30.
Stick around for that. It's Mikey and Bob. Code red
today out there.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Temperatures are going to be in the low 90s today, tomorrow,
and Thursday. Pittsburgh public, I know a lot is remote
learning today, tomorrow, and Thursday because of the extreme temperatures.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
So, yeah, just be careful out there. It's Mikey and
Bob on 96.1 KISS.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Let's get to another talkback message here about the Pepsi machine,
the Star Wars one up on Mount Washington that, you know,
the social media guy came in with a million followers
from L.A., but he's originally from here, which actually makes
it worse to me.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
You know, and then He told me his whole plan
to fix it up, but his whole threats that I'm
going to steal it, that's where this thing went off
the rails. And now he wants a victory lap because
he's going to fix it up. Get out of here
with that.

Speaker 13 (37:08):
I got to say, after what Mikey did to Mr.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
Influencer douchebag guy that stole the vending machine. Not right.
Mikey's not a Jedi. He's a freaking mobster. I mean,
I felt like I was listening to Joe Pesci while
he's beating up people in Goodfellas. Listen, I.

Speaker 6 (37:21):
I think we all need to unite behind Mikey and
just he can lead us through whatever's next. Man, there's
just like I'll be calm and I'll be gentle until
somebody messes with something.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
And then all of a.

Speaker 6 (37:33):
Sudden it's like, dude, it was like it was just
the worst combination. It's like you want to mess with Pittsburgh,
this this relic and something that Star Wars related.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
It was the perfect combo.

Speaker 5 (37:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
All right, let's get to another talkback message here. It's
from our buddy, AJ, who listens on the iHeartRadio app
down in Florida.

Speaker 6 (37:53):
Hey, bed and pillow.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
It's your Pinellas County answer, AJ.

Speaker 13 (37:56):
And for Sensual Mike and Bob.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Oh, yeah. Sensual Mike and Bob. We started this last week.

Speaker 6 (38:02):
We slowed our voices down.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Right?

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
You're missing the sensual music.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Okay. All right. Happy birthday, Bob. Okay, that's Bob's birthday's
New Year's Day. That was.

Speaker 6 (38:15):
I like sensual AJ from Florida.

Speaker 12 (38:17):
All right.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
So I think now we used to do this with
coach Tomlin.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
When his press conferences, we would slow his voice down
to make him sound all sensual and everything like that.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
Coach Tomlin's. not obviously coaching for the Steelers anymore. No
longer with us, yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
So in a sensual turn here, one of the things
that happens during our show is Bob will just, we'll
lose Bob on Facebook Marketplace. He'll send things to my
group chat that I'm in with Bob and a couple
other people, and it's the most ridiculous items. And then
sometimes on the show, I'll be like, Bob, what are
you looking at? And he'll be like, you're not going

(38:55):
to believe me. It's a motorized picnic table.

Speaker 6 (38:58):
Listen, I'm off to a heater this morning. All right,
so here we go. Let's get sensual with it. Let's
get sexy. Bob, Facebook Marketplace, what do you got? A
Michael Jackson Jesus. Okay, please explain. Is this life-sized? No,
unfortunately not. We only got six inches of Michael Jackson.

Speaker 7 (39:21):
Oh, geez.

Speaker 12 (39:21):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (39:23):
Six by eight and a half inches tall. It's an
acrylic Michael Jackson Jesus. So, like, is Michael Jackson dressed
like Jesus? You might remember Michael Jackson's iconic red leather. Oh, yeah,
the red leather, right? Is it the Beat It jacket,

(39:45):
I think? He's got the glove on as well, the
bedazzled glove.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
Wait, he has the red.

Speaker 7 (39:51):
jacket and glove on i'm looking at it right now
he's wearing the red jacket and glove the red jacket
and glove though are tattered because jesus went through some
stuff yeah is he like on a cross michael jackson
jesus is on a cross he's okay he's on the
cross like still in his red leather.

Speaker 6 (40:13):
Full outfit Again, this is Sensual Facebook Marketplace. Bob is
reading about a light-up Jesus Michael Jackson statue he found.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
The cost.

Speaker 7 (40:23):
What do you think it cost is my question.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
$ 150. $ 24.

Speaker 7 (40:28):
99.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
I need one for the studio now. Yesterday, actually.

Speaker 7 (40:33):
And if you want to spend an additional $ 10.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
I do. They've crafted a light where you can light
it up at night. Shit. Michael Jackson.

Speaker 7 (40:44):
And Michael Jackson Jesus can lead you through the night time.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
Hey, I gotta get up in the middle of the
night to pee.

Speaker 6 (40:52):
Wonder where my toilet's at.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
Show me Michael Jackson Jesus. Michael Jackson Jesus in the bathroom.
Lights the way, man. That's what MJ Jesus does.

Speaker 6 (41:08):
All right.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
See, that's how that works.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
Up next, your chance at Jonas Brothers tickets around 830.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
It's Mikey and Bob. 96.1. Kiss.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
Hey, thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,
whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (41:24):
Yep.

Speaker 6 (41:24):
But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
can hit that little talkback microphone. Send us a message.
You can send us a message about previous shows, the
latest show. something you want us to cover on the show.
Let us know where you're listening from too. Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
That's fun too.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
Right.

Speaker 3 (41:42):
People in random places.

Speaker 5 (41:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (41:45):
I hit that little talk back microphone and you can
send us a message and maybe you'll make the show.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
It is Mikey and Bob. Bucko's back at it again tonight.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
They're at home. Paul Skeens is pitching. They're playing the Giants. Also,
Mandalorian and Grogu. That movie's out on Disney Plus today,
if you didn't catch that when it was in theaters.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
I'll re-watch that. Hell yeah. Oh yeah, you went to
the movie. Yeah, I went to.

Speaker 6 (42:09):
That was a theater movie for me, but I will
re-watch that one just because I've only seen the movie
one time in theaters, so I'm ready for a re-watch.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
On that one. Also, last night.
Peacock, right?

Speaker 2 (42:23):
The Love Island season eight reunion. I think the consensus
on this was they waited too long to do the reunion.
And especially the way the news cycle and the entertainment
cycle works like.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
Things move fast. Dude, that show was so hot. Like
the show of the summer.

Speaker 6 (42:41):
It was.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
Millions watched. It was. And then they waited like a
month and a half to drop. It's too long. Yeah,
way too long.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
You got to drop the reunion like a couple weeks after,
you know. You got to make us want it, not
forget about it. So we will read some Love Island
reunion Facebook comments around 855 here on the show. Bob,
it's time to go down to Florida. Not only is
it a Florida story, we got a naked story, too. Yeah,

(43:10):
best of both worlds.

Speaker 6 (43:11):
Attention all listeners of the Freak Show.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
It's time to travel to the Sunshine State. Yes, it
happened again. It's another Florida story. All right, St. Petersburg, Florida,
we have here.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
A Florida man was arrested after a witness said he
exposed himself in a park.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
Oh, no.

Speaker 7 (43:28):
No.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Man later claimed he exposed himself in a park because
he was doing content for OnlyFans.

Speaker 6 (43:36):
That's not how any of this works, bud. You want
to do naked content for OnlyFans? Gotta stay inside for
that one.

Speaker 3 (43:43):
The St. Pete Meat Man? What's his name? how do
you know you subscribe.

Speaker 6 (43:53):
All saint pete meet your wife in the park your
wife becca comes up to you and goes hey what's
this charge on our credit card statement that says it's
show research okay i heard about this guy you're paying
20 bucks a month to the saint pete meet man

(44:14):
All right. So he's in the park recording himself. He's
40 years old.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
He's a 40 year old man. He's naked in a
park for his only fans. Witnesses saw him. You know,
they called the cops. They approached him.

Speaker 6 (44:26):
He reportedly apologized and he waited for the cops to
get there.

Speaker 3 (44:31):
And he admitted, hey, I was naked. I had everything out.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
I was making only fans content and just trying to
do some work to make some money.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
Well, I'm just remote working officer. Listen, I'm the St.
Pete meat man. This is all I got going for me.
Let me make my money. I took my office outside today.

Speaker 6 (44:49):
St.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
Pete meat man. You got to do that inside.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
You can't go to a park where there's like kids, families,
other human beings and just be like, well, time to
do St.

Speaker 6 (44:58):
Pete meat man only fans.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
Guy was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs.

Speaker 2 (45:44):
Another chance tomorrow morning around 8.30 to try to win
some Jonas Brothers tickets. It is Mikey and Bob here
on 96.1 KISS. Bob, a lot of bad going on
in the world.

Speaker 6 (45:54):
There's a lot of things to get stressed about, get
anxious about.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
And every now and.

Speaker 6 (45:58):
Then, we'd just like you to leave us messages and
say something nice.

Speaker 3 (46:06):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 6 (46:09):
I like when we got listeners saying nice things to
other listeners. Let's check in with our guy George here.

Speaker 14 (46:13):
Hey, what's going on, fellas?

Speaker 3 (46:14):
George here, catching up on Monday Morning's podcast. Y'all just
played the message to me from Don from Trafford. And
I just want to say what a wonderful message that was, Don.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
Yeah, Don was showing love to George just like, you know,
all the people that are sort of part of whatever
this universe is we built.

Speaker 3 (46:30):
Yeah. I love everything y'all do here. I love you, Don.
I love all you goofy movers. How you like that
SpongeBob reference, Mike? I mean, goofy movers. George, you're on
to something there, bud. All right. Y'all take it easy.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Oh, man.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
George, nice message, buddy. Say something nice. Say something nice.
Let's get to another one here. Hi, Mikey and Bob.
It's Sam here.

Speaker 6 (46:55):
Hey, Sam sent me a message on Instagram. This is
Sam that we work with, Bob.

Speaker 3 (46:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (47:00):
I wanted to do a little say something nice.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Yeah, he wants to do a say. He sent me
a message. I saw he made a post on Instagram,
and I'm like, what you did is so cool. He goes,
I wanted to do a say something nice, but I
work with you guys, so I wasn't sure.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
I'm like, dude, go for it. It makes it even better.
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 15 (47:21):
So yesterday, I think, you know, with back to school
and everything, I think teachers and classes were on my mind.
And I was thinking of teachers that impacted me from
growing up. I was up early for work and I
had DoorDash send a couple of dozen donuts to one
of my old teachers at Peter's. Just for the heck
of it, for her and her class to enjoy.

Speaker 3 (47:42):
What a move. What a move.

Speaker 6 (47:44):
That is what Say Something Nice is all about. Hey,
shout out to Sam right there. Hey, somebody inspired you.
You're returning the favor right there.

Speaker 3 (47:56):
Say something nice. Say something nice.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
All right, you can keep sending your say something nice
messages in through the free iHeartRadio app. We will read
some Love Island reunion Facebook comments around 855. Also got
a chance for you to win $ 1, 000 and a full
trip to Vegas for our iHeartRadio music festival around 910.
It's Mikey and Bob.

Speaker 7 (48:14):
961 Kiss.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
The Mikey and Bob Podcast.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
Well, it looks like I got myself into some trouble here, Bob.
Let me get to this talkback message here. Send them
through the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by One
Team Media.

Speaker 6 (48:27):
Hey, guys.

Speaker 14 (48:28):
This is Brittany down in Florida. We were listening to
the podcast on the way to daycare this morning, and, Mikey,
you said a word that we do not use in
our house, and so my daughter has something to tell you.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 5 (48:42):
Hold on.

Speaker 6 (48:43):
I used a word on the show that they don't
use in their house, and now the daughter?

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (48:48):
Go ahead. Um, don't say stupid, Mikey. What should he
say instead?

Speaker 5 (48:54):
Ridiculous. Ridiculous.

Speaker 13 (48:58):
Okay, right.

Speaker 3 (48:59):
Okay. I said stupid on the show. Dahl, you said
it again.

Speaker 6 (49:02):
Well, I'm just using it now in the context of
things I guess I shouldn't say according to her.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
Ridiculous. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. That's right.

Speaker 6 (49:11):
Hey, I got to use my words better. She's absolutely right.
She's absolutely right.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
All right.

Speaker 6 (49:17):
Let's get to the Love Island reunion, Bob. Love Island
season eight was a monster of a show this summer
on Peacock.

Speaker 3 (49:25):
I don't know what it was, but it seemed like
a lot of people were in. Biggest show of the summer.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
And then the season ended and then they waited too long,
but they did the reunion. Ari on the Maddox, Andy
Cohen hosted it, you know, It's on Peacock And then,
you know And then we read the Facebook comments Yeah,
here we go.

Speaker 1 (49:49):
You're going to a very deep, dark place on the
internet It's time for 96.1 KISS Facebook comments.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
Love Island USA Season 8 reunion happened I'm not going
to give away any spoilers or anything like that We're
just going to read from the Facebook comments here Lauren D.

Speaker 6 (50:08):
Trinity and Bryce are still my king and queen forever.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Rita S. This was hard to watch. Melody S.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
Hey, the people who were clout chasing hoes are, wait
for it, still clout chasing hoes.

Speaker 5 (50:26):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
Courtney B., Andy Cohen sucks.

Speaker 6 (50:31):
By far the worst part of all reality TV that
I like watching.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
Whoa, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (50:36):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
Christina C., Andy Cohen, go away. You are the ick.
Wait a minute.

Speaker 6 (50:42):
Are they mad because Andy Cohen's Bravo, right? Yeah, well,
he's got his hands in everything at this point. I
know he came over to the Peacock.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
For, you know, he's the reunion guy.

Speaker 4 (50:51):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (50:52):
Couldn't Ariana do this herself? You would think.

Speaker 6 (50:54):
Maybe that's why they're mad at Andy Cohen. Or they
just don't like him.

Speaker 3 (50:58):
I just saw the next one.

Speaker 6 (51:01):
And I know we didn't watch this show, but I
do remember Kenzie on the show because she would always
do the splits.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
That was a signature move. Heather, you here in the
Love Island USA season eight Facebook comments.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
Ain't no way.

Speaker 6 (51:16):
Kenzie did the splits and clam slammed on the reunion.

Speaker 3 (51:20):
Gonna miss the clam slam, to be honest with you.
A reunion clam slam? Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker 6 (51:27):
I never have to hear sincere say Melanie again tonight.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
I don't know. Is that how he said it? Andrea E.

Speaker 6 (51:37):
this was 100% a hate watch for me. Chelsea W.,
I feel like waiting over a month to put this
out made me not care about this at all.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
I feel like that's the problem with everybody. Gotta do
it quick. Gotta be quick. Gotta do it quick. And
one more here, Love Island reunion Facebook comments.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
Laura M.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
This reunion reminded me that I absolutely hated every single
person on this season. You can win $ 1, 000 in a
full trip to Vegas up next in just a couple
minutes here to go to our iHeartRadio Music Festival in
a couple weeks. It's Mikey and Bob on 96.1 KISS.
We've been talking a lot about Jeep Ducks on the

(52:14):
show since C. Harper Auto Group became the official sponsor
of our Mikey and Bob podcast. And, you know, I'm
driving around in a purple Jeep Gladiator. Bob's in a
white Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie, which basically you can just
drive around with a cowboy hat because he just feels
like a rancher, like a real cowboy in that truck.

Speaker 13 (52:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
Oh, yeah. You know, and Jeep ducks are a thing.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
Had a wonderful listener, Ashley, leave me a Paul Skeens
duck yesterday on my Jeep. And, you know, we have
Mikey and Bob C. Harper ducks that we leave randomly
for people. You have a lot of ducks now.

Speaker 6 (52:48):
I do. I do.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
And we need more Mikey and Bob ducks. C. Harper,
I think, is on that. But let's get to this
talkback message brought to us by One Team Media.

Speaker 13 (52:55):
Hi, Mickey and Bob. I know you and Zip have
been recently talking about Jeep Ducks.

Speaker 3 (52:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (53:00):
And did you know that Subaru has a Jeep Duck.

Speaker 5 (53:04):
Type of thing?

Speaker 13 (53:04):
It's called Moo Moo Subaru, and you're supposed to give
little cows away.

Speaker 12 (53:09):
No way.

Speaker 13 (53:10):
I know it's copied from Jeep, I'm sure, but just
a little interesting tidbit that they can do it too.

Speaker 3 (53:17):
Wait a minute. Moo Moo Subaru's a thing? Moobaroos? We
got Moobaroos out there? Moobaroos! Hey, I didn't know they're
on there hanging out cars. I didn't know dogs could drive. Yeah,
it's whatever. This is all fun and whimsical.

Speaker 2 (53:33):
I did not know any of this before I started
driving a Jeep.

Speaker 6 (53:35):
Like, I knew about Jeep ducks and everything. I didn't
know about the Jeep wave. Dude, the Jeep wave is
a real thing.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
Oh, yeah. It's a real thing. The Jeep wave is
a real thing. Now I'm going to be looking out
for Subarus now. A little Moo Moo Subaru.

Speaker 3 (53:46):
You got Moo Moos out there, dude?

Speaker 6 (53:48):
I think I have a cow duck, too. So I
might be able to duck a Subaru.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
You know?

Speaker 2 (53:54):
Ultimate crossover yeah what'd you get arrested for tried to
duck a subaru didn't have the owner's permission they didn't
like it too much uh all right bob let's get
to netflix here This is a blind spot for me,
but the number one thing on Netflix is this docuseries,
Death of the Pastor's Wife.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
It's true crime, right? True crime stuff.

Speaker 7 (54:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
It's huge.

Speaker 6 (54:16):
Once every two months, there'll be a true crime thing
that'll just go number one on Netflix. And then every
internet detective, Instagram detective tries to solve the case on
their own.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
Death of the Pastor's Wife is about a 2024 death story.
where there's allegations of control against her estranged husband, this lady,
John Paul Miller, the former pastor of Solid Rock Church
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Now, there is a tragic
tragedy in this story, you know?

Speaker 3 (54:46):
Oh, it's a sad story, yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
Right, it's murder involved and everything like this, and I
have not watched this yet, but I saw this post
that said, I know this is a serious documentary with
a tragic outcome, but no one can tell me it
wasn't absolutely hilarious watching the pastor... lay in his front yard,
acting like a deer hit his car because he cheated

(55:07):
on his wife and mother of his children. Now, again,
this is a blind spot for me. I have not
watched this docuseries yet. But when this pastor guy... is
laying on his front lawn outside of his vehicle, and
he's claiming that a deer hit his car because he
knows he's been caught in whatever was going on. All
I did was swipe on it and listen to this

(55:30):
pastor on the ground.

Speaker 6 (55:31):
Somebody's called him, right?

Speaker 7 (55:36):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (55:36):
All right.

Speaker 6 (55:47):
He's laid out across his lawn making those noises yeah
he got caught yeah because yeah he got caught and
then he lied about getting i guess hit by a
deer his car hit deer.

Speaker 3 (56:01):
But somebody's called him right.

Speaker 6 (56:04):
It's like when you catch a little kid in a
lie and all of a sudden they're.

Speaker 3 (56:09):
Yeah, again, I haven't seen this documentary.

Speaker 6 (56:11):
I know there's some tragedy, but man, when I swiped
on the video, I was not prepared for the guy
to sound like this.

Speaker 12 (56:18):
But somebody's called.

Speaker 6 (56:19):
Him, right? All right, here's your chance to win $ 1, 000.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
And possibly a trip to Vegas. Our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
You'll be seeing BTS, Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, Smashing Pumpkins,
Zara Larson, Benson Boone, and more.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
Good luck.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Hey, I got to say a big salute and thank
you to two specific ladies who work at the UPMC
Urgent Care on 19th. uh morgan and betty thank you
very much i was uh there on sunday with my
daughter addison she had an infected foot so i had
to take her to her.

Speaker 6 (56:54):
You are in and out of medical facilities bro i
a lot of this a lot of stuff.

Speaker 3 (56:58):
That's going on with me i don't even talk about
on the air bob knows all the stuff i'm dealing
with right now it's it's.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
Kind of wild it's a lot yeah it's probably another
reason why when some influencer claimed I'm really from Pittsburgh,
but from LA decides I'm going to steal the star
Wars vending machine.

Speaker 6 (57:16):
I got a lot going on right now and I
don't want to play around with things like that.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
Not on your watch. Not on my watch. Not on
my watch. Um, yeah, Bob, let's get to, uh, Pete.

Speaker 6 (57:29):
Now Pete is the Disney character that has been paired
up with the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (57:34):
This is old news.

Speaker 2 (57:35):
Now this is the NFL Disney champion collaboration where he,
every NFL team got their own Disney character.

Speaker 3 (57:41):
Was that last week they did the big rollout?

Speaker 2 (57:43):
Yeah, I think so. Yeah, we read Facebook comments on it.
You can look that up on our YouTube page. There
was a whole thing. And a lot of people were
confused why we didn't get like Iron Man or something
like that. Something that had more to do with steel
and metal. And we got Pete, but then last week
on the show, we were talking about how Pete looks
like he's from Greenfield, kind of looks like McCarthy-ish. Maybe

(58:06):
this isn't such a bad thing. You know what I
feel about Pete now? I feel like Philadelphia feels about gritty.
When Philadelphia first unveiled Gritty, the Flyers mascot, Philly hated it.
And then once they realized that everybody else was like,
what is that thing?

Speaker 3 (58:26):
Then Philly was like, no, no, no, you can't rip
on this. This is ours. And now that's us. Gritty's
like a folk hero there.

Speaker 6 (58:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:33):
I think I feel the same way about Pete. I
think Pete now should be embraced. And you know what
turned me?

Speaker 6 (58:41):
That Park Life podcast, I saw they did a video
that was sort of explaining a little more.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
Like a Disney podcast? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Explaining a little
more why Pete was the Pittsburgh pick.

Speaker 10 (58:54):
Why is this lesser known Disney character the one chosen
for the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Speaker 5 (58:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (58:59):
The NFL and Disney collaboration has some interesting pairings, but
how did Pete wind up in Pittsburgh? Here's a mini
deep dive for you in a 1942 comic.

Speaker 3 (59:09):
Oh, this is a listen.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
1942 comic. If you don't know, he's got roots here.
Why Disney picked Pete. Let's take you back to a 1942.

Speaker 10 (59:22):
Comic called Donald Duck finds pirate treasure.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
Oh man.

Speaker 10 (59:26):
Well, pirates, you know, Well, black and gold. He mentions
that his mother is a resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 3 (59:31):
There it is.

Speaker 1 (59:32):
No way.

Speaker 6 (59:33):
Pete's mom's from Pittsburgh. He's been in there the whole time, dude.
And we just found out.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
Man. Like, this should have been part of the rollout, right?
He's from Pittsburgh. Trapped it down to a 1942 comic?
Took a little while to dig deep enough in a
Disney podcast. Did Pete used to work in the mills?
Might have been.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Pete looks like he's used a Pittsburgh potty before. I
think that, yeah. Come home, drop a hot Pete. Pete's
just down the basement.

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
Before he goes upstairs for supper, drops a hot Peter
in the Pittsburgh potty.

Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
You know?

Speaker 10 (01:00:06):
He left this note which says, if I don't come back,
Please oblige and send my remains to my old mudda
in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
Oh my gosh. I assume it's.

Speaker 10 (01:00:14):
Meant to have an old mobster sound to his voice.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Yeah, it's kind of weird. I don't know. He needs
a yinzer voice, not a mobster voice.

Speaker 10 (01:00:20):
I assume most people do not know this very specific
niche detail about Pete.

Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
He's not exactly a popular character these days.

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Yeah but he's from pittsburgh now so guess what anybody
who's anti pete and say we got the wrong character
he's one of us those are fighting words now dude's
from pittsburgh.

Speaker 10 (01:00:35):
According to this espn article and espn is owned by
disney if you don't know the pairings of characters to
teams represents their shared personalities and qualities and for what
it's worth over the years as his character evolved pete
is described as quote blue collar tough and unapologetically physical
oh man he.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Was the perfect pick It's right in front of us.
A lot of people didn't like it when it first
came out, but Pete's legit. Pete's one of us.

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Pete's been here since the 40s. Pete's also immortal, too.
He can't die. Oh, no. Pete never dies. He's immortal.
And he's from Pittsburgh. He's the superhero that the city deserves,
I think.

Speaker 6 (01:01:19):
The legacy piece, Pete. Hey, that's our Pete now. You
don't say nothing about Pete. We protect Pete now like
we protect the damn Star Wars vending machine on Mount Washington.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):

will be pitching. They're taking on the Giants. It's Mikey

first song on his newer album, right? Noah Khan, everybody. Yeah,
he's got the... Listen, man, when I have a song
in my heart, it's coming out, bud. You know, there
are these words like when I say the end of August,
no one comes coming out of my mouth.

Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
It's just like a little it's like a little trigger,
you know. And then the beginning of.
