Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show.
Oh that's how I feel, right, Oh God, it's bad, right, hurts,
always hurts when Steelers get eliminated from the playoffs. Hey,
it's your friends Mike and Bob the ninety six to
(00:21):
one Kiss Morning Freak Show. I gotta be honest, I
don't know if I'm ready for today's show man. It's
there's a lot of people that have already sent us
messages from this morning, from last night watching the Steelers game. Steelers,
of course get they got destroyed. They did. I mean,
the game was close at points, but that was just
(00:42):
because of the Texans turnovers. The Steelers were dominated by
the Texans. It really wasn't that close. Thirty to six,
another playoff loss. Let's get right to the talkback messages here.
Send them through the free iHeartRadio app. We want to
hear your Steelers reaction this morning. Uh talk back messages
brought to us by One Team Media. It's our buddy
(01:05):
Dan from Honda Oh Boys. Dan from Honda Oh Boy.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Rogers couldn't even finish the game with a bum fire
Tom whoa OA.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Dan is fired up. We're gonna get through this all
together because you can hear those couple hours of sleep
in his voice. A guy like Dan just saying this. Somehow,
it makes me smile this morning. Somehow, just him saying
that into his phone. It's it's making me smile this morning,
(01:44):
and I get it. Yeah. Why oh, okay? Are we
just making noises? That's real pain right there, right, That's
what it is, what it feels like we feel like morning.
All right, Well, we'll do the show we're supposed to
(02:06):
do today, including a couple rounds of Steelers Facebook comments
and get the pulse of Steeler nation after another playoff loss.
First round of Steelers Facebook comments coming up around Sint
forty On The Kiss Morning Freak Show, It's Mikey and
Bob in a city that's a little sad this morning.
(02:28):
Guess maybe there's some positivity today. Huh No, listen, maybe
we can turn this all around if there's anybody can
do it, Bob, It's me and you. It's Mikey and
Bob the Kiss Morning Free Show. Let's get to this
talkback message brought to us by the Pavement Group. Thank
you mean, Bob, It's okay, It's okay? Is it okay?
It's Okay, Okay, I love the Steelers, and yes, I
(02:51):
still love Tomlin.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
I'm very grateful that he's our coach.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, it'll be okay, go Steelers. You know what? Nice? Yeah,
you know what. Somebody's gotta be positive today. Okay, let's see.
Let's see how everybody else is doing. Let's see if
we can train a positivity here this morning after an
ugly Steelers playoff loss thirty to six to the Texans. Okay,
(03:16):
this doesn't sound promising with that noise.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
I know it's like a Facebook cliche at this point,
but I mean Tomlin needs to go, like this is
just embarrassing, Like how much longer.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Do they expect us to just exist in purgatory?
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Purgatory? Yeah, it's embarrassing, all right.
Speaker 6 (03:35):
This is where we expected to be this morning and
not win a playoff game. Like it's actually unacceptable, unacceptable.
I truly don't understand how you can defend Mike Tomlin
at this point, like, ooh, never had a losing season,
Who cares?
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Man, He's he's doing the voice too, He's doing the
voice of a Steeler fan that supports to.
Speaker 7 (03:58):
Fool care.
Speaker 8 (04:00):
Man.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
It's gonna be a rough morning.
Speaker 7 (04:02):
Oh never had who cares?
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Who cares? Yeah, it was pretty ugly and it's been
pretty ugly. Just a string of disappointing seasons and playoff losses,
and you just you hope for change. You hope they
figure it out, whether it's a new coach, whether it's
you know, moving on from old man Aaron Rodgers is
the quarterback. You know, maybe it's getting rid of some
(04:28):
of the older guys that are taking up a bunch
of money on the roster.
Speaker 9 (04:31):
Dude, it was seven to six at halftime, and I
still believed. Yeah, like I didn't stop, you know, like
I was like, oh, it's all I know.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I still believed after Texans got the touchdown, you know,
did I? And then it happened quick. It happened quick.
It happened quick. It's all fourth quarter.
Speaker 10 (04:49):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
We will check in with Steelers Facebook comments section and
see how that's going around seven forty this morning, and hey,
everybody could use an extra thousand dollars to turn your
day around this morning, trying to pay some of your bills.
Coming up around nine ten, it's Mike and Bobs on
the Mikey and Bob Podcast, Hi Loud. You know, if
(05:09):
we're being honest. That's exactly how we're doing. Whatever noise
just came out of my mouth is how we're doing.
Speaker 11 (05:16):
Scream some Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
do you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Hey, thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,
whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it. Thank you. But
if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you can
hit that little talkback microphone send us a message. You
can send us a message about previous shows, the latest show,
(05:42):
something you want us to cover on the show. Let
us know where you're listening from. Two. Oh yeah, that's
fun too, right, people of random places. Yeah, I hit
that little talkback microphone and you can send us a
message and maybe you'll make the show a really bad
thing about the Steelers losing again and typical Steelers Tomlin
(06:06):
fashion in the playoffs. It's just like that was a
joy in all of our lives. Yeah, and that's taken
away from us now. So that little joy that we
got from watching Steeler football and the distraction that sports
is from other stuff going on maybe in the country
or the world or our lives that's gone. Now it's
(06:30):
Mikey and Bob the Kiss Morning Freak Show. Let's just
continue with the talkback message. Is going to be a
lot of these this morning. You can download our free
iHeartRadio app and send us a talkback message. When you're
streaming ninety six to one Kiss, just hit the talkback microphone.
Brought to us by One Team Media, Mike and Bob.
Speaker 12 (06:46):
This is justin. I love Mike Tomlin. I appreciate him.
You put in a great nineteen years of work for us,
all right, positive, but the Tomlin way no longer works
and I think tonight to Mike Tomlin era has ended.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Oh no again.
Speaker 12 (07:02):
I love him, I appreciate him. He's done great for
us over the nineteen years he was here.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
But it's over.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
I mean, I don't think Coach Tomlin's gonna get fired.
I just don't think mister Rooney's gonna fire him after
these many years and everything. I think Tomlin needs to
walk away though. He's gotta be the one that chooses
to go, yeah, I think, and he's just go to
do like TV with his friend Jay Glazer or something
on Fox, you know, like just go get paid like
millions of dollars to talk on TV. Dude, the rest
(07:29):
of the country would love him dropping Tomlin is you know, yep,
but maybe it's maybe it's time. Here was coach Tomlin
after the game last night.
Speaker 13 (07:39):
You know, it was disappointing, but I'm certainly thankful for
this group in their efforts. We didn't put our guys
into enough position, we didn't make enough plays, and certainly
the Houston Texas did you know. I'm not gonna make excuses.
It's not ex huge business, but it's a disappointing night tonight.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah, disappointing night tonight. And here was coach Tomlin when
he was asked about his future with the team and
as he thought about what he wants to do and
does he want to come back and coach, does he
want to coach somewhere else? Does he want to get
into TV, does he want to take a year off.
Speaker 13 (08:08):
I'm not even in that masset as I sit here tonight.
I'm more in the masset of what transpired in this stadium.
And you know, certainly what we did and didn't do
not a big picture mentality.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
We'll sit here tonight, all right, He's got some time
to figure it out. But obviously it's a disappointing night
for these Steelers last night losing in the first round
of the playoffs. Again, Hey, we won the division, we
got a home playoff game. Like local businesses benefited from
the T shirts, but it's pretty much the same story.
We will read Steelers' Facebook comments coming up around seven
(08:39):
and eight fifty five. I'm the Kiss Morning Freak Shout.
It's Mikey and Bob from Mike, You and Bob Podcast.
I watched the Stranger Things documentary about the final season yesterday.
It was pretty long, man, it was like two hours.
I wasn't expecting that. But five things I learned from
the Stranger Things documentary. We'll get to that around eight
(09:00):
twenty five this morning. If you're a fan of Stranger Things,
all about them stillers this morning though, It's Mikey and
Bob the Kiss Morning Free Show. Get into another one
of your talkback messages here send him through the free
iHeartRadio app brought to us by the Pavement Group.
Speaker 14 (09:13):
Hey, Mikey and Bob. Doug formerly in DC, having a
great Monday night after a h taking a football game
just came to an end.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, Doug listens to the show a lot. We got
to meet Doug out at our yearly toy drive, huge
Texans fan, stuff a bus. Yeah, he's a Texans fan.
Speaker 14 (09:33):
Unfortunately, I know your guys day is probably all to
a rough start, and but hey, at least you got
Pirate season to look forward to coming off.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Doug, don't come stuff we Doug, don't dog. I thought
we were friends. I mean, really, I really do. I
thought we were friends. Thought we were He came out
to stuff a bus. He gave us prizes, he made
us each personalized coffee monks. It's stuff a bus. I
thought we were we were friends. What happened? Don't tell
us when pitch and catchers are going to report for
the Pirates. Jesus man. Oh no, all right, Doug, congratulations,
(10:06):
Texans have a scary defense and uh maybe they'll win
the super Bowl this year. All right, you know who's
gonna cheer us up. Let's hear from Dawn from Trafford here, Good.
Speaker 15 (10:14):
Morning, Mike, can big bob down from Trafford on this
sad Steeler Tuesday. What a sad, sad day for Pittsburgh.
But let's put a positive spin on this. Yeah, at
least we have the win against the Ravens that put
them out of the playoffs. All together, that can be
our super Bowl this year. Otherwise, try to have a
(10:38):
great day.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Yeah, I don't know. If it doesn't quite feel like
we won the super Bowl this year by beating the Ravens,
winning the division, knocking them out and they got rid
of their coach, it's you know, what, was it worth it?
It was still worth it right to beat the Ravens
and win the division and get a home playoff game.
It was still worth it. My enjoy, Yeah, that's worth it.
(11:00):
That joy was worth it, right, we all we all
felt great when that happened. But now part of me
looks back and just like, you know, if we would
have lost and not even made the playoffs, whatever offseason
changes might have actually happened, Yeah, it might have been
a little bit easier because now you look at it
just like you know, a lot of us don't look
(11:22):
at it like a successful season. But maybe the front
office will be like, hey, won the division, made the
play had a home playoff game. Yeah, let's keep it going. Gosh,
hopefully not. It's it just seems like groundhog Day every year.
You wake up and it's the same thing with the Steelers.
It's a it's another early round playoff exit. We will
(11:43):
get to some Steelers Facebook comments on the show coming
up around seven forty eight fifty five. It's Mikey and
Bob the Kiss Morning Freak Show, trying to get you
through it this morning, Pittsburgh. We know, we know it sucks,
we know it hurts, we know there's paying Steelers once
again disappointing exit from the first round of the playoffs,
(12:05):
losing to the Texans thirty to six. I mean it
was close for a while. We were defense was playing
good kind of we were getting turnovers, and it was
close to the fourth quarter. Yeah, and then it all
just fell apart. Exits scored like twenty three points in
the fourth quarter. It was just one of the worst
Steelers offensive performances we've seen a long time too. It
(12:27):
is Mikey, it is Bob the ninety six to one
Kiss Morning Freak Show. Let's get to another one of
your talkback messages again. A lot of people obviously want
to talk Steelers this morning. Send them through the free
iHeartRadio app brought to us by the Pavement Group. We
got a request for today in Freak Show history. You know,
right around seven o'clock is where we take you back
to a moment in the show that made us laugh,
(12:47):
made us smile. I don't know what we got to
make the city laugh and smile today, but our guy
John doesy.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
Good morning, Mickey Mouse and Booby fed.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Okay, Micky, Mickey Mouse and Booby Thanky. Okay, Booby f
that's a real good name for you.
Speaker 7 (13:04):
I like it's swift.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Was just wondering if we could get the Bob laugh
track to.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
Heal the city this morning.
Speaker 9 (13:12):
Oh my god, after a brutal playoff loss, Thank you
guys having good ship.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah, we gotta do this.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Yeah, good gold.
Speaker 7 (13:19):
Good story, sure his story.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Last year on the show, I trusted a fart that
I shouldn't have trusted, and it led to forty seconds
of some of the best Bob laughs ever. We call
it the Golden laugh Track. It's guaranteed to make you smile,
and we need it this morning. Here is forty seconds
(13:51):
of the Golden Bob laugh Track. You didn't.
Speaker 6 (13:58):
I did.
Speaker 12 (14:02):
You?
Speaker 1 (14:06):
You shot? Did you throw your underwear away? I didn't?
Speaker 11 (14:29):
What did you do?
Speaker 1 (14:33):
I love that there's so many people waking up this
morning turning on the show for the first time, a
little down, a little depressed about the Steelers, and then
they just hear us both laughing like idiots. From the
time that I trusted a fart that was a little
bit more than a fart. At least the drone show
(14:55):
was cool, right, hey, you know what that drone That
halftime drone show house something special at the Steller game
last night, right that looked cool. We had that going
for it. That looked awesome. Man, that was better than
I expected it to be. Celebrating fifty years of the
Terrible towel. It showed like all the Lombardes and the
(15:16):
Super Bowl logos, showing like the Lynn Swan catching drones,
the Santonio super Bowl catching drums. That's awesome, and then
it wasn't. Then then everything went bad. Top five things
that went right at the Steeler game last night. Number
one the halftime drone show. Nice job on mat Steelers.
(15:39):
That's about it. Steelers course lose to the Texans last night.
Thirty to six, nine years since the Steelers playoff win.
It's Mikey and Bob the Kiss Morning Freak Show getting
through it all together this morning. You know Everybody makes
a big deal about coach Tomlin in the non losing
sea and yeah, I get it, that's impressive in everything,
(16:03):
but with this playoff loss, there are also like new
Tomlin records and new Steelers records that need to be
talked about because somebody at some point is gonna say,
in all, well, he still hasn't had a losing season,
so it's not all that bad. But when you really
get into it, it really is kind of that bad
(16:26):
because the Steelers have made history with this playoff loss.
Mike no history. Yeah, it's not a good history, it's
bad history. Mike Tomlin is tied for the longest playoff
losing streak by a head coach in NFL history. So
somebody at some point will bring up, well, never had
(16:48):
a losing season, just go He is tied for the
longest playoff losing streak by a head coach in NFL history. Also,
the Steelers now have the fourth longest playoff losing streak
at seven games in NFL history. That's not good, that's insane.
(17:10):
In all the history of football, the Steelers now have
the fourth longest playoff losing streaks in NFL history. The
Steelers have won the most regular season wins in a
nine year span without a playoff win in NFL history.
They have ninety wins. None of these new stats make
(17:32):
me feel good. Nah, I just wanted to put this
out everybody, because if you got somebody you work with
or you got a friend, that's just like, hey, you know,
things ain't that bad. Coach Tom keeps having winning seasons,
we won the division, everything like that. Historically bad playoff
performance under coach Tomlin, Like, that's what it is.
Speaker 5 (17:52):
Like.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
We got a Lombardi with him, we got one with
coach Kower, two, we got four with Chuck no Nole.
But the reality is is that Thisheelers currently in the
playoffs are historically bad in nine years. In the past
nine years, they've won ninety regular season games. Obviously, that's
an average of ten wins a year, which isn't bad
at all, it's amazing, But no one has won that
(18:14):
many regular season games without a playoff win in NFL history.
Those are some not so fun things. Hell aa drone
show though, that on that drone show, Locked up on
a hell of a Drone. Drone Show was good, man,
Hell yeah, Drone Show was good. That was the bright
spot of the game. I think the Drone show. So
(18:35):
we will get to a round of Steelers Facebook comments
coming up this morning around seven forty eight fifty five
and your chance at one thousand dollars this morning around
nine ten. It's Mikey and Bob gouty six one kiss. Well,
it might be a sad day for Steeler Nation, but
Bob was just waving his hands in the air here
(18:55):
singing about how thankful he is for his delicious iced
coffee this morning, the best man, the best, thank you
coffee for being you wave your delicious coffee. It's Mikey
Abob the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show.
Cloudy out there today. Highs will be in the low fifties.
You weren't shorts now? I thought about I thought about it.
(19:19):
I'm gonna have some rain coming through the area overnight.
Let's get to another talkback message send for the free iHeartRadio,
approught to us by One Team Media. It's our Disney
pal Jewels down in Florida.
Speaker 7 (19:30):
Hey, Mike, you Bob, it's your Florida Caw Jewels.
Speaker 16 (19:33):
I haven't wasn't your Guys show since August. That's just
but I've been keeping up on social media and everything.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Hell yeah, all right, jewels, jewels listen since August been
always sends us messages and only gets the clips on
social All.
Speaker 7 (19:48):
I gotta say is, what the heck?
Speaker 16 (19:50):
I'd never trust Aaron Rodgers from the beginning.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
All right, here it goes, all right, Jules.
Speaker 16 (19:56):
We trusted him. We totally blew it. I feel like
that meme was the bird or the chicken and the
tree just going. I feel because that's what it was.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
That's what it was. That's what we're feeling like this morning,
Steeler Nation, I feel yeah. Speaking of Aaron Rodgers, after
the game, he was asked about his future, if he's
going to stick with the team, if he wants to retire,
he's obviously a free agent after this year.
Speaker 17 (20:28):
No, I mean, I'm not going to make any emotional decisions. Disappointed,
you know, obviously, it's such a fun year. You know,
a lot of adversity, but a lot of a lot
of for him. Been a great year, you know, overall,
my life in the last the last year, and this
is you know, a really good part of that coming
here and being a part of this team.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
So it's disappointing. To be sitting here with season over.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Yeah, I think he really likes it here, and I
don't think he played bad this year. But I also
feel like he currently is like late stage Ben Roethlisberger
can't run and you sort of need a running quarterback
in the NFL now, and also like stopping the progression
for the real future of whatever the Steelers quarterback is
(21:11):
going to be. I also feel like he's not going
to answer the question are you retiring right like ten
minutes after he got off the field. This is the
guy that disappeared for months, Yes, and then you showed
up right before training. You know, like, he's not gonna
give us a quick answer.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
No.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Hopefully he doesn't hold the offseason hostage or anything. But
he was asked what does he do next after this
playoff losses? Aaron Rodgers just.
Speaker 17 (21:33):
Get away and then then I have the right conversations.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Oh man, he's going to go to the dark place
and do the yep, do the stuff that he does.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
Right.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
He was also asked real quick, I liked this one. Hey,
why did Mason Rudolph come in at the end of
the game and you know, give the final couple handoffs.
Here's Aaron Rodgers thoughtful answers thirty six. That's it. It
was thirty six, all right, sort of makes sense that
can we go with Aaron Rodgers to the dark place
one take the stuff that he I don't know where
(22:02):
he's going. I want to go there. I want to
air Rodgers wherever you go till summer and till summer,
me and Bobb will take a vacation week wherever you
go to this dark retreat or something like that. You know,
it'll bring us into the next generation of our show,
our program. So it'll be interesting to see obviously what
(22:23):
happens with Aaron Rodgers this offseason. Just a lot of
questions for the Steelers that this offseason, from the coaching
staff to the quarterback and you know, some of the
older veterans that are making a ton of money on
the team and there's a lot to be evaluated this offseason.
Speaker 9 (22:38):
Get we're at one hundred days till the draft. Oh
my gosh, the draft. See you might think it's over,
but this is it's gonna We're carrying this all the
way through.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Coming up next on the show, we will dive into
the Steelers Facebook comments. After another playoff loss, it's coming
up next to him. Kids Morning Freak Show, Mike, you
and Bob Right now, I just saw on the Steelers
Facebook page here obviously they post the final score and
Robert f says, Mikey and Bob, you know what to do?
(23:11):
Chrissy are replies literally already cannot wait for this morning show.
All right, let's get to a real quick talkback message
here on the Kiss Morning Free Show, it's Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 18 (23:22):
Hey, Bob, this is brand for your county. With that
lost last night with the Steelers, at least we get
Steelers Facebook comments. So I look forward to hearing the
Steeers facebook comments. And I love the show. Have a
great day, Mike and Bob.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
All right, Well, maybe it's a positive thing for some
people that are just fans of the show and fans
of how we read from the Steelers facebook comments, it's
always a nuclear round when they get eliminated from the playoffs,
it's a mess. Uh So we will see who gets fired.
Who's going from the team, probably everybody Steelers facebook comments.
(23:59):
We will read some right after Olivia Dean on the
Kiss Morning Freak Show, It's Mikey and Mob. You know
a lot of you are a little fired up this morning.
Everybody gets fired, everybody gets traded, everybody goes away. Gotta
start fresh with the Steelers. Can't keep doing the same
thing and expecting a different result. It's Mikey and Bob
(24:20):
the Kiss Morning Freak Show. Before we get to a
round of Steelers Facebook comments, let's get to another talkback
message brought to us by the Pavement Group.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
Hey, Mikey and Bob, I would say good morning, but
it's certainly a good morning.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
I'm just gonna get right to it. Aaron Rodgers Crossroads.
Send him to the crossroads. He's never coming back. Mike
Tomlin Crossroad, No, send him there, he's never coming back.
Arthur Schmidt Offensive Court, Uh huh, Crossros No, all right,
(24:54):
Steelers lose thirty to six. It was ugly against the Texans.
Let's read some Steelers Facebook man.
Speaker 19 (25:00):
See where oh you're going to a very dog chase
on the internet. Everyone is a GM, everyone is a coach.
Everyone is going to get Triggs. It's time for Steelers
Facebook comments.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
I'm just gonna stave the sending of players, coaches, whoever
to the crossroads till the very end of this segment. Okay,
all right, we will start here in the Steelers Facebook
comments with Jeff W. I will be the first to
say fire Tomlin and take Arthur Smith with you. I mean,
you're definitely not the first, probably the first one. I'll
(25:37):
say it.
Speaker 7 (25:38):
Eric F.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Three thousand and eighty four days since Mike Tomlin won
a playoff game? That that hurts? Is that a real?
Three thousand days Facebook comment? I believe I got zach
as forty years as a Steeler fan. I'm done sticking
up for you. G t fo ahe Oh my god,
(26:02):
after forty years. Keith c Here, Oh boy, the chief
would be embarrassed. Oh manj season was a failure. We
backed into the playoffs and got beat don first round again. Bad. Yeah,
Shannon f Here enjoy can coun Steelers while I sit
(26:26):
in my miserable cubicle in gloomy Cannonsburg. You fart heads?
Whoa careful? Oh no, listen. I think a lot of
us that work in an office setting, yeah, we feel
that pain, like, oh the Steelers let us down. Well
they're free now. They can all take their millions and
(26:48):
enjoy your beach vacation. They're all going on vacation now
and Shannon's in a miserable cubicle in gloomy Cannonsburg. You
farttheads too, language Lynn a horrible night. The stadium was booing.
But that drone show was good though, you know what
(27:09):
the heck? Hey, that halftime drone show really solid. It
gives you, It gives you something to look forward to
next year. More drone, more drone, more drones. Yeah, you know,
figure out what we're gonna do with everything, but more drones. Absolutely.
Brady p Here reading from the Steelers Facebook comments, Hello
(27:30):
winter darkness. Oh no, did we just drift into seasonal depression?
Heh yeah, we're here. Welcome, Welcome back seasonal depression. Steelers
delayed a little bit, but we're mad baby here Jake
d and the Steelers Facebook comments, horrible night. Can't believe
I paid over three hundred dollars for my ticket and
(27:53):
my highlight of the night h was I took a
p with the guy who dresses like Steelers. Jesus. Wow,
three hundred bucks right there, I'm peeing with Jesus. By
the way, the guy who dresses up like Steelers Jesus,
you have to lift the whole he has to like
the rope, lift the whole robe up right? Is that
something you do? You don't do that full frontal Steelers
(28:15):
Jesus really like he's gotta lift. Maybe that was the
highlight of the night. Maybe Steelers Jesus takes the entire
robe off and it's just a guy peeing in the
beard couple Marire, Vince p and the Steelers Facebook comments. First,
I got the flu this week?
Speaker 4 (28:30):
No, you know this?
Speaker 7 (28:31):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (28:32):
No, first week ever? Vince can't help you, Bud, something
going wrong? And one more here for this around of
Steelers Facebook comments. It's Zach e fire everyone, good night.
There we go. Everybody's gone. It's just a lot easier
to fire everyone and send everyone to the crossroads. That's
(28:53):
those drones cross except those drones, the drones. No, keep
the drones and I'm gonna see everyone and a minemis
everyone all right. We got another round of Steelers Facebook
comments coming up around eight to fifty five. It's Mikey
and Bob Basics on it the Mikey and Bob Podcast.
There's book smarts, there's like street smarts.
Speaker 9 (29:12):
So then there's a completely different kind of thing that
we teach people here somehow, in a degree in Mikey
and Bob smarts.
Speaker 11 (29:19):
Will get you a job nowhere, no dream, the Mikey
and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
The final pass, possibly of Aaron Rodgers' career, if this
is it for him as a Steeler and just as
an NFL quarterback, was a pick six. Not great, No,
it was ugly. It's one of the worst offensive performances
in Steelers franchise history. UH one hundred and seventy five
(29:51):
total yards, fewest in a postseason game since January of
nineteen ninety seven. Some of you were not even born
the last time the Steelers stunk it up with an
offensive performance that bad. It is Mikey, It is Bob
the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show. We
have another round of Steelers Facebook comments coming up this
morning around eight fifty five to stick around for that.
(30:14):
Also coming up in just a minute. Here, we'll give
you a chance to win Meghan Trainer tickets. She's coming
to town in the summer. Maybe that'll turn your day around.
Right now, though, we got to check in with our buddy,
we call him Weed and Eco. He listened to the
show all the way on the other side of the
country through the free iHeartRadio app in the state of Washington,
talkback messages brought to us by One Team Media.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Oh boy, hey boys, we need to go from Washington.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Oh No, season's over, Football's over.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
Hit the crossroads, Oh.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Man, send everybody to the crossroads. Man that just that first,
like that exhale right there by the way, I'm I'm
starting a compilation right now out of Steeler fan noises
in reaction from this morning. Yeah, this is what I
got so far. This is all of you in like
fifteen seconds.
Speaker 5 (31:10):
And I feel.
Speaker 7 (31:16):
Oh never had a losing season.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Who cares? I feel like that's the pulse of Steeler
nations morning. That's fifteen seconds right there is the uh
is the pulse of Steeler Nation. Let's get to another
one of your talkback messages. Here.
Speaker 5 (31:31):
My heart is broken and my head is aching. Yeah,
Mike and bottling. It's real bad out there.
Speaker 7 (31:38):
It's real bad.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
Hi, karama I coroma coma Right, we were.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
Playing like a Cleveland Browns out there.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
WHOA. Let's okay, let's not were I know we're all
a little fired up, but let's not take things too
far here, Okay, let's not comparison to the Bronze.
Speaker 5 (31:55):
It really freaking sucks.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
He does.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
I mean, come on, come on, that we had Mike
Canada offense tonight.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
That's okay, Well I gotta add that. Did you say
we had a Mike Canada a Mike Canada offense tonight,
which that's not a that's not a thing, all right? Yeah,
I gotta add his noise now to the uh to
just the track of disappointment. Yeah, I'm just I'm compiling
(32:24):
a full track of disappointment. So if anybody asks, like, hey,
how was how was the everybody's reaction to the Steelers game,
I'll just be like, oh, it was this.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
I feel.
Speaker 7 (32:42):
Oh never had a losing season. Who cares?
Speaker 9 (32:49):
All right, everybody made one of those noises after their
alarm went off this morning?
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Yeah it was uh the pick six for a touchdown?
Both of those I was making. I was making exact noises,
just like some of our listeners were. All right, we
have another round of Steelers Facebook comments around eight fifty five.
Coming up around eight twenty five. The five things that
we learned from the Stranger Things documentary that came out yesterday.
(33:18):
I watched that as soon as I got home before
the Steeler game. We'll get to that right now though.
Your chance to win Meghan Trainer tickets check. We know
ninety six one kissas Mikey and Bob. Hello, Hi am,
I calling number nine. Who's this?
Speaker 20 (33:32):
My name is Sarah's Contech.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Okay, yeah you are Coller number nine. You're going to
see Meghan Traylor. Yeah, congratulations, Thank you so much. Yeah,
she's coming in July. Tickets around sale right now at
ticketmaster dot com. But don't worry about that. We got
a pair for you. Okay, Okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
Another shot at Meghan Trainer tickets around three point thirty
with Tall Kathy here on ninety six to one kiss.
It's Mikey and Bob obviously, uh, sort of licking our
wounds after the Steelers once again do what've always done.
It seems like for the past decade. They get into
the playoffs, they lose in the playoffs thirty to six
at home to the Texans. Let's get to another talkback
(34:09):
message brought to us by the Pavement Group. All right,
so Steelers let us down.
Speaker 20 (34:16):
Yeah, it's gonna be a sad day, sad Yeah, but
then we have to think we got we still have
the Pit and.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Miiley, Yeah, hey, you know what if there is some
positive if you need something to look forward to Season
two of The Pit. The first episode came out last week.
We get a new episode this Thursday on HBO Max
with a few Pittsburgh references, and yay, I mean we
(34:44):
got the pick to look forward to. At least at
least there's a TV show to distract us. All right,
let's get to more of the sadness from the Steelers
post game. Here was TJ Watt.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
I mean, this is still fresh man. It's extremely frustrating,
extremely frustrating.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
T J.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Watt was asked what needs to change as far as
getting success in the postseason.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
I haven't had the answer for a long time, so
I don't ask me.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
This doesn't sound great. He actually doesn't know. Yeah, he
doesn't win. He was asked about the adversity he had
to go through this season. Remember a few weeks ago
we punctured as long man, I don't.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
Care about the university that I went through. Man, this
is sitting up here again, the same story.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Oh man, he is uh, he's he's hurting. Yeah, sounds
like he just wants.
Speaker 7 (35:32):
To go home.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
Sitting up here, same story, just wants to go on vacation. TJ.
Watt asked, what needs to change now?
Speaker 3 (35:39):
We're gonna have to be a hard look in the mirror,
continue to evolve and do things differently. But yeah, I'm
gonna take this one in. Man, this sucks.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Yeah, this sucks. I think got all the players. TJ.
Watt's the one that really feels like the fan base
there where it's like, don't got any answers. This is
the same thing. This sucks, right, Him and Cam take
it pretty damn hard. Yeah, here was Cam Hayward after
the game.
Speaker 10 (36:06):
Frustrated, put some much sense to it. You don't get
the outcome. He won, not just myself, I think every
man in here I really wanted it.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
There's somebody breathing really heavy, Yeah, close to the microphone
right like there, there's a really heavy breeder next to
get some reporter up the sprint across the locker room
to get the cam. Like what, somebody's breathing really heavy, right.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
Of course there's some starts on the game, but that's
part of the game. You played a winner, use and
you know, sometimes you don't want.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Yeah, somebody's breathing really heavy. Yeah, you're right. Maybe they
were at somebody else's locker. Had to run across the
locker room just a little winded. You know, whoever that
is is not in playoff shape. It was a hard
sprint across the locker room.
Speaker 7 (37:01):
All right.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
It sucks. Just like TJ. Watt said, it's over. It sucks,
it's done. I think t J.
Speaker 9 (37:08):
Wack goes and watches the rest of the NFL. You
think he's like Crosby where it's just like you doesn't
know how to turn it off.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Yeah. I think a lot of the players will watch
because you know, it's what they do for a living,
and they want to know who wins, and they want
to know who plays good. They want to know what
quarterback is going to win the Super Bowl this year. Yeah,
I think a lot of them just lock in and
we'll watch the rest of the playoffs, like you know,
the rest of the country sort of does. We have
another round of Steelers Facebook comments coming up around eight
(37:34):
to fifty five coming up next though. There was a
new documentary, a behind the scenes of Stranger Things season
five on Netflix yesterday. I watched it. We will get
to the five things that you might have learned from
the Stranger Things documentary. Coming up next, it's Mike You
Bomb Cutty six Kiss, Harry Styles coming back? Or what
(37:56):
we got anything locked down official yet? Or is it
just the rumblings? Are we about to enter another Dude
Harry era? Dude Harry and Bruno Mars coming back at
the same time? Oh jeez, yes of our favorite boys. Yeah,
there's rumblings that Harry Styles is going to go on
tour again, which possibly means new Harry album is coming soon.
Speaker 9 (38:18):
And uh, he put up billboards and like posters and
stuff all around a bunch of different cities, including New York.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Something's happening, right, I saw page six that he might
be doing a Madison Square Garden like residency. Yeah, we'll see.
There's listen, things are happening, though. We'll let you know
as something as soon as something gets locked down. But
you know, as soon as we get a new Harry
Style song, you'll know because me and Bob will be unhinge.
It's Mikey and Bob the Kiss Morning Freak Show. I
(38:45):
know a lot of people are let down about the
Steelers this morning, but let's get to this talkback message
brought to us by One Team Media.
Speaker 7 (38:52):
Mikey and Bob.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
Yeah, you guys never let's just sity down. I'm just
telling you, you never do. You're all the way. Thank you.
We're all the way. We're all the way. When was
the last time we let the city down? Where we
have we ever disappointed? Everybody where they're just like, ah,
Mike and Bob, these guys, I don't know. I don't
(39:15):
know if we've ever let the city down before. Yeah,
I don't. I don't think, so try to lift the
city up, right. We bet we've never lost the playoff game.
That is true. Me and Bob are undefeated zero and
zero when it comes to the playoffs. Hey, I watched
the Stranger Things documentary. It was like behind season five
A Stranger Things and everything it was. It was a
(39:36):
little over two hours, so you got a little recap
for us that devote two hours of time. There were
five things that sort of stuck out from the documentary
that I think is worth mentioning. First of all, and
by the way, it's spoiler ish kind of but not
really what I'm about to say. The big battle in
(39:57):
the military zone. You know, it had all the barracks
and all the military vehicles and everything like that. It
was shot five different like times in five different ways
and then all spliced together like as one. So they
kept shooting that scene. He shot it five times and
(40:18):
there's a lot going on in that scene. Also, Mike
Finnwolfhart right, plays Mike on the show. He really, he
really did want a gun. He was really like campaigning
to have a gun. Now I've seen the show. He
does end up with a gun, does it's a flair gun,
(40:39):
But Mike Finnwolfart really wanted to have a firearm in
the series finale. One of the crazy things about the
documentary on Netflix, the Stranger Things documentary, is they started
and you know, Stranger Things was something where it's like, hey,
let's wrap this up. It's been like two years since
the last season. Right started filming the final season without
(41:02):
a finished script. Dude, how wait, they didn't have the
last No, they did not have No, they started, Uh,
the script for chapter eight the Ripe side Up still
wasn't locked in when some of the scenes were shot,
and it even was you know, they're talking to the
Duffer brothers and they're talking to Sean Levy, the director
(41:23):
and you get the feeling that Netflix is starting to
get like frustrated with them, like execs that Netflix of
just like what are we doing? Also the Goo, you
know the scene with Jonathan and Nancy or they're trapped
in the room and the building is the building starts melting, right, Yeah, dude,
the Goo wasn't like sludgie enough that that it's so weird.
(41:48):
That's like one of the parts that stuck out to
me because the Goo and stranger things, like the last
season was so weird and gray and nasty that they
had this whole company that was making the go right
and it was too watery.
Speaker 8 (42:03):
Like the director, show me and you should start a
goog company. We could hear the goo guys. Hey, guys
are here and it'll fix everything. Move your TV show
there you go on and call you call the Goo guys.
Speaker 12 (42:17):
No.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
But it's funny because Sean Leevey was like so frustrated
because he was like, no, it's not sludgy enough. So
then the the actors had to like act like it was.
Speaker 9 (42:27):
He didn't take away from anything. But when you think
back to like the Goo, he's right, yeah, he's right.
Speaker 5 (42:33):
It was.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
So they fixed it with like some VFX at the end.
One of the things I took away from a Stranger
Things documentary is they they use a lot more real
life things than you. Yeah, like there was a lot
of like big pieces were made and stuff like that
where I'm just like, I could have saved a lot
of time on that. And also the final script read
(42:57):
was the other thing sort of took away. There was
a lot of different things that were already on the
internet about some of the actors and everything. Crying at
the final script read like that was awesome. The only
one who wasn't there was Vekna Jamie Campbell Bauer. He
was on video call, but everybody was there. There was
some laughs and there was a lot of tears. Basically
(43:18):
everybody was crying. And David Harper, David Harper who plays Hopper,
he you know at the end part where the script
reveals that right there is a there's a proposal. He
like really gets down on one knee with Winona Ryder
and like it really proposes to hear her in the
(43:41):
final script reads. So I think my big takeaway from
the behind the scenes thing.
Speaker 9 (43:46):
Anything in it make you believe that the conformity Gate
actual bonus anything.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
The one thing I took away was show like this
as hard as hell to make, and I honestly can't
believe they they pulled it off. So if you want
to see the documentary behind the scenes of the last
season A Stranger Things, it's on Netflix. Now. We have
another round of Steelers Facebook comments coming up around eight
fifty five. Stick around for that and your chance to
(44:13):
win a thousand dollars around nine to ten. It's Mike
and Bob on the Hey chance for you to win
one thousand dollars this morning to just turn your mood
around and you know, build up your bank account. That's
coming up, will give you a keyword to enter on
our website. Coming up around nine to ten this morning
on the Kiss Morning Freak Show. It is Mikey and Bob,
(44:33):
like everybody else in the city, licking our wounds. After
that Steeler's performance thirty to six, losing at home to
the Texans again, there's you know, there's obviously coach Tomlin
never had a losing season all that, But also I
think just as important, if not more important, than the
(44:55):
never had a losing season, is Mike Tomlin is now
tied for the longest playoff losing streak by a head
coach in NFL history. These Steelers now have the fourth
longest playoff losing streak at seven games in NFL history,
and the Steelers have the most regular season wins ninety
wins in a nine year span without a playoff win
(45:17):
in NFL history. They've won the most during the regular
season in a nine year span with no playoff wins.
That's historic. Like, I know, we can all do the
He's never had a losing season, but historically bad, not
just Pittsburgh bad. We start Lombard's here. Historically bad coaching
(45:39):
in the playoffs. It's not an opinion, it's just fact
of how bad this playoff drought has been. Here is
coach Tomlin after the game on what he said to
the team.
Speaker 13 (45:53):
No, it's not time for talk. You know, we agreed
that we'll meet tomorrow and go from there. But you know,
when you're in this single elimination tournament, man, it's not
a whole lot to talk about.
Speaker 1 (46:03):
You win or you go home.
Speaker 3 (46:05):
Talks cheap.
Speaker 13 (46:06):
It's about what you do it don't do, and it
certainly as a collective, we didn't do it tonight.
Speaker 1 (46:10):
And of course somebody asked about his future with the team,
if he still wants to be here all that stuff.
Speaker 13 (46:14):
I'm not even in that mindset as I sit here tonight.
I'm more in a mindset of what transpired in this
stadium and you know, certainly what we did and didn't do.
Not a big picture mentality to sit here tonight.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Yeah, a lot of people, uh, not really feeling Coach
Tomlin and Mike and Bob. This is justin.
Speaker 12 (46:31):
I love Mike Tomlin, I appreciate him. You put it
in a great nineteen years of work for us. Huh,
But the Tomlin way no longer works here in Pittsburgh,
and I think tonight that Mike Tomlin era has ended again.
I love him, I appreciate him. He's done great for
us over the nineteen years.
Speaker 3 (46:50):
He was here. But it's over.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
Yeah. I think that's how a lot of people feel
this morning. So Coach Tomlin was asked at the end
of his press conference last night if he has a
message to the fan base, some message to Steeler Nation.
Speaker 13 (47:01):
Again, when you when you don't get it done, words
are cheap. It's about what you do or you don't do.
And so I appreciate the question, but people talk too
much in our business either, do you don't?
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Yeah, and they haven't for quite some time.
Speaker 11 (47:18):
Now.
Speaker 1 (47:19):
Are they on the don't list? Yeah, we're on the
don't list. Yeah, don't list.
Speaker 11 (47:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
I think we're don't list.
Speaker 10 (47:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
Uh, we got it. One more round of Steelers Facebook comments.
I know that's what people always think of us. Steelers lose,
especially a big playoff loss. I can't wait to listen
to Mikey and Bob in the morning dive into the
Steelers Facebook comments. And it's not that it'll be people
saying Mike Tomlin should lose his job, or Arthur Smith
we need a new offensive coordinator, Aaron Rodgers retired. Now
(47:45):
we're gonna we're gonna get into some We're gonna get
it deep into the Steelers Facebook comments section. Coming up
next around eight fifty five, it's Mikey and Bob you
can win a thousand dollars coming up next here on
the Kiss Morning Freak Show with Mike and Bob. Right now,
it's time for steel Facebook comments, where.
Speaker 19 (48:02):
You're going to a very deep dark place of the Internet.
Everyone is a g everyone is a coach. Everyone is
going to get trade inch. Everything sucks It's time for
Steelers Facebook comments.
Speaker 1 (48:16):
Steelers Facebook comments after another disappointing first round playoff loss,
losing to the Texans thirty to six at home, Susan
t I'm sick. I haven't felt like this since Big
Ben left. Oh No, Todd l A broken condom provides
way better protection than our all line did. Michael p
(48:38):
One and done again. Mark g my Aunt grew man
parts tonight. Coach Tomlin, please explain what I do now,
Paula c Here we go, Steelers, Here we go, this positive, Paula.
This fan is still waiting on you. Mason Rudolph Paul
at Rick B should have want to sleep in halftime,
(49:01):
Greg p.
Speaker 11 (49:01):
C J.
Speaker 1 (49:02):
Straud, the quarterback for the Texans, did everything in his
power to single handedly lose the game. In the Steelers
offense couldn't do anything to win it. Travis M in
the Steelers Facebook comments, cried like a baby into my
terrible towel the night. Damn you Steelers. Uh huh. I
think Keith W might have been drunk type in this
Keith Keith W wayed drum I needs two hours ass
(49:28):
d Clay all right. I think he was drinking and
he said waited. Wait, yeah, I don't know what waited?
Did he have for two hour delay? D are you
an MBK waited? Drum? I need a two hour ass declay? Yeah,
he watched the two hour delay, stayed up to late
(49:49):
two last night. Looks like he was doing some drinking.
Tyler D in the Steelers Facebook comments, straight up ass,
Joseph w This one's gonna hurt Steeler fans. Congrats Stealer Nation.
The Ravens missed field goal that won the division is
the Steelers Quaito moment? My god, it is holy crap.
(50:13):
Well remember that kick, but really, where did it get?
It's all we got. Oh no, we'll remember that moment.
But it was like, you know, Paul c burning my
jersey until Tomlin is gone. Becky s guys, it's time
to give up. Come on over, cheer on the Pens.
The band wagon's waiting for you. Okay, litten a little bit,
(50:35):
a little bit, let's go put a little bit. We
don't need to do this thing where we act like
we aren't we every team. It's not like we couldn't
pay attention to the Penguins while Steelers season a little bit.
Let's go a little bit a little bit, Sean h. So,
what's the team of the NFL Draft gonna be in
one hundred days? How about welcome to mediocre Mike's Town,
(50:56):
Matthew m. This is Chris boswell appreciation post. Congrats to
our best player on the field, Chris Boswell said, Boss
Brandon G. Will Howard should have gotten those last few snaps.
Didn't make me feel any better seeing Mason Rudolph's goosty
ass on my TV screen. Deborah Kay, oh boy, huh.
(51:17):
If we're talking about a replacement coach for tomlin K,
deb is seventy seven years too old to coach? Who
is Deb's picking? If not, I'd like to name the
new Steelers coach Terry Bradshaw. Oh my god, didn't think
Bradshaw is gonna get out Debs calling, tear on the
phones and get in here. Aaron M not even excited
(51:41):
for the NFL Draft. I was excited, huh, but I'm
not anymore. Screw all of this and you runded Steelers.
Oh we got to just end it here. I know
it's been a lot of pain. One more here, Samuel
w way to screw all the Steeler fans at home.
The captain should go down with the ship. Hi, Tomlin,
(52:04):
He's been sent to the crossroads so many times. In
the Facebook comments section coming back was the Ravens Steelers
quato game. Is this the time he actually goes? And
I'm going a miss coach Tomlin? And I'm in a
miss Coach Tomlin. All Right, we got your chance to
win a thousand dollars. That'll turn your morning around. Next
on the Kiss Morning Free Show, it's Mikey and Bob.
(52:30):
You could win a thousand dollars in just moments here
on the Kiss Morning Free Show, it is Mikey and Bob. Obviously,
a lot of us down about the Steelers thirty to
six they lose at home to the Texans. But hold on,
let's get to this talkback message. I think she wants
to say something nice. Talkback messages brought to us by
the Pavement Group. Hey, Mikey, Bob, it's Laura.
Speaker 16 (52:51):
Just like the rest of Pittsburgh, I'm pretty bummed.
Speaker 17 (52:54):
At this morning about the last last night.
Speaker 7 (52:56):
I'm not I'm really.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
Hoping for a glimmer of positivity and hope with all
the stressful things going.
Speaker 21 (53:01):
On this month in the country.
Speaker 16 (53:03):
Yes, but nevertheless, It was really cool seeing all the
hype and excitement of Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
How that we have a celt in a while when
it comes to.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
The Steelers until next year, black and Gold.
Speaker 1 (53:14):
It was a short run, but it was a fun run.
We'll always have the week of winning the division getting
into the playoffs. We'll always have last week. Oh everything
felt great last week and it was perfect. City was electric,
had a chance maybeh The memes were running wild. Oh man,
(53:37):
everybody was making Steelers songs hype videos up till yesterday,
and your Wood had to go back on the song.
Roger Woods probably just yelling at like his son now,
just like why you make me do it? Roger Wood
should say I'm not doing this until the second round.
He should make a new Steelers need to earn it.
(53:57):
He should draw a line in the sand and say, no,
there's not a new here we Go song for making
the playoffs. You gotta have one playoff win. Yeah, yeah,
And then Roger Wood says, I agree. There's too many
times that Roger Woods had to do a new version
of the here we Go song. It had new players,
names like Aaron Rodgers. It's just not worth the work.
(54:21):
Let Roger Wood live his life. We don't bother him
until we win one playoff game, all right, you gotta
get one win in, gotta get one, gotta get one.
Let's get to another talkback message here.
Speaker 22 (54:32):
Hey, Slim, Jim and Duncan donut okay, all right, So
when you were reading Facebook comments earlier, yeah, there's one
that said it's been threey two and eighty five days
since the last Steelers playoff win. So I researched it,
and the last Steelers playoff win was almost exactly nine
years ago.
Speaker 1 (54:51):
On January fifteenth.
Speaker 7 (54:53):
That hurts.
Speaker 22 (54:54):
That hurts twenty seventeen for the twenty sixteen season.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
So yeah, it's it's actually been the we're over three
thousand days, three and eighty four days. I guess you
know how much all of our lives have changed in
that time. Oh my god, Like there's children out there
there there that were babies that learned disappointment last night.
Speaker 7 (55:15):
Don't do this.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
All right, let's get to another talkback message here. Let's
see if this mood will change it. Here, guys, what's
going on?
Speaker 3 (55:24):
Put our zac here from Washington checking in?
Speaker 18 (55:26):
All right, after that horrific loss on a national stage,
If I could use one word to sum up last night.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
One word to sum up last night?
Speaker 3 (55:37):
Okay, it is the following, Okay.
Speaker 1 (55:38):
One word careful, careful? Why all right? Why I had
the button ready? I wasn't sure if it was going
to be like a different word than that, but one
word to describe it? Why?
Speaker 10 (55:53):
Why?
Speaker 7 (55:54):
Hold on?
Speaker 11 (55:54):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (55:55):
Let me add that to the Steelers fan playoff noises.
Speaker 11 (55:58):
Here.
Speaker 1 (55:59):
This is a comple twenty seconds of some of your
best reactions this morning after the Steelers loss. I feel.
Speaker 7 (56:13):
I can't believe I stay up fish oh never had
a losing season?
Speaker 1 (56:21):
Who cares? Why the guys? Why?
Speaker 10 (56:30):
Why?
Speaker 1 (56:31):
Why? All right? Here is your chance to turn your
gloomy day around and try to win one thousand dollars
your one kiss. We have a mailman that listens to
the show pretty often. His name is Bobo the Mailman,
and excuse me, it seems like he's always taking magical vacations. Dude,
(56:54):
Bobo takes better vacations than anybody else that I know.
He's down in Saint KITT's very true. Let's get to
this talkback messenger on the Kiss Morning Freak Show. It's
Bobo the Mailman, brought to us by the Pavement group,
Mikey Bomb, Bobo the Traveling mail Man, hearing say kits
trying to get the ends of fired up. If I

and then the game starts happening down at Saint Kitts.
He's got probably one of the bartenders giving us a
here we go Steelers, and then the game happens. Guys,
both the mail Man disappoint say kids, I'm sure Nate's
(57:39):
screaming his ass off. Nate the crazy Italian guy. By
the way, if you follow our buddy, Nate, the crazy
Italian guy who's always hype about the Steelers. He posted
a video on his Instagram account. We didn't play it
on the show today because there's no words. It's him
listening to Johnny Cash's version of Hurt, one of the
(58:01):
most depressing songs, while he's in the shower, letting the
water run all over him.
Speaker 7 (58:07):
And I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
But next year, let's get Will Howard out there and
kick ass.
Speaker 7 (58:16):
We are gonna do it next.
Speaker 1 (58:17):
Year, man, we'll. Bo has been drinking and he's living
his life, kids well hard, having a good time. Bobo's
telling all the bartenders down there high. When we when
we will hid a chance, Everything's gonna be okay. All right,
let's get to another talkback message here. It's our friend
(58:38):
krit Yo.
Speaker 5 (58:39):
What's up, boys, it's great. I don't know if we're
coming in on a Steelers winner Steelers.

Speaker 9 (58:59):
Yeah, you see uh coming? The one one guy, Uh,
I'm trying to think of his name. He was on
SETH Meyers last night.
Speaker 1 (59:07):
Connor story, the guy who plays il the Russian. Yeah,
he was on SETH Myers last night. If you want
to see the full video, you could check it out.
But one thing in Heated Rivalry, obviously it's a huge
pop culture show now, Uh, Heated Rivalry, Uh, the Love Story,
the Hockey Show. There's a lot of like scenes in
it where they're just texting one another. There's no sort
(59:29):
of talking. It's just you see the texting. Some of
its sexting. Uh. But here was Connor story again, who
plays Ilia the Russian on uh uh Heated Rivalry on
Seth Meyers, Seth Myers and him going back and forth.
Speaker 21 (59:42):
I was going to ask you Myers, will you come
on Late Night tonight? Myers, you know I can't do that.
We could have a great interview together sort of.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
Show sounds.
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
And then you're ready for it. Oh boy, I'm coming
to Late Night.
Speaker 11 (01:00:08):
Yeah, that's what I like to hear.
Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
This show's great, This shows great. I just love when
a show. I just love when a show does this
to people. You know, like we felt this. We felt
this about the season one of the Pit. We're still
feeling about the Pit. We felt this about Stranger Things
and no Heated Rivalry. And you know, it's not like
we're falling out of love with these guys. They're at
(01:00:31):
the Golden Globes now. Connor's on Seth Myers.
Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
I'm coming to Late Nights.
Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
I'm coming to Late Night. It's a great show. Check
out Heated Rivalry. If you haven't already and Connor story. Uh,
you know, these guys are just gonna keep getting more
and more roles and heated rivalry. Season two is going

started shooting it yet, like season one is still getting
discovered by pamp the show still, Yeah, it's a thing.
(01:00:59):
It's Kiss Morning Free Show. Mike Ybob. Hey, I think
I found it. I think I found the pulse of
Steeler Nation this morning. I feel like we've been looking
for it all show, and I think I finally hit it.
Speaker 5 (01:01:13):
Here.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
It's mike Yabob a Kiss Morning Free Show. After another
disappointing playoff loss thirty to six, Steelers lose to the Texans,
let's get to this talkback message here, brought to us
by one team media stealers, the Steelers trumpet. Oh oh
(01:01:40):
what trumpet man? That's how it felt though, you know, yeah, yeah,
that's how it felt. Yeah. Let's get to Mills on
the Mountain.
Speaker 20 (01:01:50):
Here, Mills on the Mountain here, Hey, guys, it's Tuesday morning. Yep,
feeling rough and I'm just slept and sad like the
rest of the city. Sad mistake of not listening to
yesterday's podcast in its entirety, and I put it back
on just now to finish it. Oh, and it is
everyone just hyping up for the game tonight. So but
(01:02:11):
I don't want to not listen because I love you
guys so much. So that's a sacrifice of making.
Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
That's a great sacrifice going back and listen to the
end of yesterday's podcast and what you missed, like living
in a different universe. We were all so hopeful, we
thought they might have a chance, and then they just
got destroyed by the Texans and yeah, and then you
know alternate reality.
Speaker 11 (01:02:33):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Yeah, let's just sum this all up with twenty five
seconds now of some of the best stealer reactions from
all of you this morning on our show.
Speaker 5 (01:02:48):
And I feel.

and then you slowly move on.
Speaker 9 (01:04:02):
There'll be like an exit interview. Does Tomlin still be
one more press conference?
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
Yeah? Probably, and then maybe todaycapping it.
Speaker 9 (01:04:11):
People mentioned it. But we're like literally one hundred days
away from the draft. That's so wild, man, It all
just starts back up.
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
It's so wild. And you know, it's not so much
as just like whoa who the Steelers gonna pick because
you know, we won the division, made the playoffs. We're
not going to have a great pick unless we trade people,
which you know, something has to change though, because this
this sucks, just having all these playoff losses. A historic
(01:04:40):
drought in the playoffs. The Steelers are are on right now,
all right, you have twelve more chances. Try to win
one thousand dollars. Pay your bills this week. You know
they'll turn your day around a little bit. If you
win one thousand dollars, you'll have twelve more chances ten
after every hour now through nine pm. Be listening for
those nationwide words to enter at nine six one kiss

win one thousand dollars. And just thank you, know, thank
you everybody who sent messages in today listen to the
show today. We know it sucks, we know it's not fun.
We had so much fun last week. We were all
drunk off Steeler football and it was awesome songs and
just the joy of the city. And uh yeah, it
(01:05:26):
all fell apart last night. But we thank everybody who
you know, shared him with sadness with us today and
riding together. We'll try to turn it around tomorrow and
you know, hopefully move on from this Steeler loss and
get back to you know, talking and doing things that
make us laugh and make us smile. What do you
want to name the podcast today? Bob Steelers Farttheads? Somebody's
(01:05:48):
simple easy. Somebody did call the Steelers Farttheads in the
Facebook comments. That's a solid name for the podcast. Everybody
know we lost, but let's see what Mike Oh Steeler's
fart Heead podcast asses up. Okay, by the way, fart
head is Uh. It's one of the nicknames my daughter
Addison has for me. Oh, what's a nice one. Yeah,
