Now, yesterday we were talking about how North Carolina and
Newbern specifically was the inspiration for The Notebook, which I
think is the greatest romance movie ever made. So then
we got to talking about, like, what are the greatest
movies in North Carolina? And you told me there are
some wild ones.

Bull Durham, Days of Thunder Bull.

That's a great movie. Did not know that.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Now we want to make it as easy as possible.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
We're going to take some of the legwork out.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
It started out as like North Carolina movies, What are
your greatest North Carolina movies?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Why don't we just make it a.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Mount Rushmore of your personal movies all time?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Okay? I love that?

Speaker 1 (01:47):

The Cat Panthers are back in action.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
NFL preseason started last night Hall of Fame game, Panthers
getting the first go.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Usually I don't pay attention to too much of the preseason,
but yeah, pretty cool that we were able to play
in such a great game.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
So last year I moved back from Los Angeles, California,
which the Rams are great, and it was really fun
to pull for him.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
But it ain't like pulling for your hometown team. I know,
there's nothing like pulling for the hometown team. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So living here and then last year was so exciting.
The excitement's been building all throughout the offseason. Off season's over,
We're in preseason now. Yeah, how are you feeling about
the year? And I know we're biased, We're like, oh,
coming off of division win. Yep, we host a whole
playoff game. Oh yeah, taint the rams to the final
drive of the game.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
That was awesome. How you feeling, I'm feeling pretty good.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
It's gonna be a little interesting how we go through
the number one schedule because you win your division, that
means you play all the previous division winners the next year. Yeah,
we got a lot of good teams on the schedule,
but I think we've progressed a little bit. I like
what we've done in the offseason, so I'm expecting us
to go back to back.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I'm being honest. I was gonna say the same thing now.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I don't know if we win the home playoff game,
but I am expecting us to win the division again.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
What is the other team's done in the open.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
To say Tampa Bay, you would say Tampa Bay is
the biggest threat.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Probably so as long as they have Baker Mayfield at quarterback,
I'd say so.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah, But I'm still liking what we're doing. I'm loving it. Well,
we're back.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Kickoff was last night Hall of Fame game. Panthers, get
it rolling, keep pounding. NFL football fall is here. Let's
