Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're having some fun this morning on the Gina Frankie
Morning Show. Gina is on vacation, as is ninety five
percent of San Diego.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Right now, I feel like seems like it. I ain't
nobody working today.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
If you go to work today, shout out to you
because we're here. That is Angie again. My name is Frankie.
And I wanted to do this. I've been holding on
to it all week long because I feel like it's
a good, feel good Friday bit and and I joined
the show at eight five five five seven one, nine
thirty three.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
But sometimes life doesn't go the way we wanted to.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
You had a bad day at work. It could be
I don't know, a coworker pissed you off. Maybe your
boss rubbed you the wrong way. Maybe I don't know,
you got into an argument with your significant other. It
happens to all of us. As much as I personally
try to stay positive, I have issues in my own life,
just like everybody else I know on social media on
the era, try to keep a positive vibe, but I
have I have problems. You know, I get an arguments
sometimes with my wife or you know, family members and whatnot.
(00:44):
And and sometimes you got to step back and say,
you know what, no matter how bad my day was,
there's a little spark of positivity that can spin things around.
But sometimes you have to dig for them. And here's
what I'm talking about. So like, think about this. Maybe
you had a bad day at work and you're driving home.
You just you just hate the world and everything's so terrible,
and as you're driving on the side streets through San Diego,
(01:04):
you hit every green light, like you know, say, don't
hit any of the red lights.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Just go green light to green light to green light.
And it's like, Yo, life is kind of good. I
just got through every green light.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
It's so small, little things that can turn you into
a good I guess a bad day into a good day.
This happens to some people, and I love what happens
to me. But you did laundry, I don't know, a
few days ago, and then you go to grab that
pair of jeans and you just having a crappy day.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Maybe maybe you're you're a significant other and you just
got in a big argument. You're gett dressed upstairs and
you're all mad. I'm gonna get out of the house tonight.
I need to get out of here, and you're reaching
into your pocket and you find ten dollars like you
know that money that Yeah, so you buy these little things.
Sometimes you gotta search for them, but they're the little
things that can ultimately flip a bad day into a
good day.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
And you mentioned you have a couple dads in your life. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
So when I'm having a bad day and I'm like,
you know what, I gotta go home, gotta go cook,
and you know I'm dreading it, and I go to
the grocery store. When I pick up that first box
of produce.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Yeah, there's no mold on the bottom, and it's just
good produce. The first pa, Yes, good day. Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
When I'm having a crappy day and I pull up
in my driveway and I see all the packages I ordered,
they're delivered, they're waiting for me.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Great day.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Little things, right, These are these little things and sometimes
in life, you know it's been a long week for
many this week, if you had to go to work,
and you're like, these little things that actually spend the
bad day into a positive Jenny's with us in Carlsbad.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Add to the list. Taking the right lank checkout lane
at the grocery store.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Oh yeah, No, it's so funny you say this because
the opposite can happen as well.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
It actually happened to me yesterday.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
I was checking out the grocery store and I thought
I got into the fastest lane because I moved over.
I was scouting it out, and all of a sudden,
that was the slowest cash here I've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I was stuck so much longer than the other lanes.
So is the flip side when you.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Get the price check person in front of you.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Two, Yes, that's the worst. That's the worst. So yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
So being able to pick out the correct lane and
move quickly through it is a little thing that puts
a smile on your face after.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
A rough day.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Absolutely just flying right through.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
I love that. Well, thank you for chapping in this morning.
Have a wonderful day. Awesome, Thank you Over to Crystal.
Crystal's in National City.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
One little thing that after a bad day can turn
things correct.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
When I just wake up and the sun is shining
and it's not like.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
June gloom or May gray, it's just nice and sunny,
and I'm.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
Like, yes, today is going to be a good day.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I agree now that we're in July, hopefully May and
June our past, yes, yes, right, so as we wake
up in July, a simple little thing of the sun shining,
I mean, we got a little bit of over there today,
the simple things.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
No matter how.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Bad yesterday, but it wasn't still a good day for me,
I can't believe it.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
So no matter how bad your day was yesterday, if
you wake up and the birds of cherp and the
sun is shining, we don't have make grave.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
We're good. Thank you for joining our conversation. You're great.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Thank you for.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Sure feeling good on a Friday.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I share heading to work out and about talking like
after a bad day, one little thing that can turn
that day correct.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Michelle is with us in Ocean Side.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
I would say getting an instant Latto ticket, because I
do that if I have a bad day. I'm like,
if everything went wrong today, at least maybe God wants
me to have money. But the best is when you
buy it and you actually get like five dollars twenty
dollars from it, and then all of a sudden, like
I just get the warm, fuzzy sea leaves, like, oh
my gosh. You know, the universe is looking out for me.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
If somebody you say that, because I don't ever win
big on scratch tickets at all, but.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
You win five bucks and it just feels good. You
feel vindicated, you really do it. I spent a dollar dollar.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, and I got five bucks. You know that that
makes you just it's like that weird feeling inside. It's
like when I see a good deal somewhere. I didn't
really need that T shirt, but it was on sell
for five bucks, so I got it. So I felt great.
You didn't really need that five dollars from that one
dollar scratch steal, but because you got it, it's spun
your day around exactly.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
I feel so good after that. So if everything's going wrong,
I was like, just get it instant Loto ticket. You
never know.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Love that, well, thank you for sharing. You go get
yourself a lot of ticket today.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
You deserve it.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Oh, thank you. I will
