Speaker 1 (00:00):
That is Angie. My name is Frankie v. Gina is
on vacation this week back of course the Monday sounds
social media. She's then having some friendly fun, which I
I love to see. I mentioned this. I mentioned that
Angie has changed my life. I'm not sure for the
better or or for the worse. And it's in regards
to an app. You had told me about this, and

(00:20):
people listening in right now some of you might use it.
I was talking to one of my buddies the other day.
He's got a similar app. But it's like the app
that and we talked about this before, that kind of
like breaks down the ingredients in what you're purchasing. You
literally scan the QR code or the line code what's
that called the barcode on the back of whatever it is,
from bread to candy to whatever, and it tells you

(00:42):
how good it is for you or how bad it
is for you, from a scale from zero to one hundred.
And here's why I would say, you've combined making my
life better and worse on the same We'll start with
the better the better. I'll be honest. I mean, this
is TMI, but I was constipated at one point not
too long ago, and I realized some of the protein
bars I was eating, some of the low carb raps

(01:02):
I was having, has certain ingredients in it that can
cause for bowel issues. And when you mentioned to me
I used the Yuka app y Uka Uka app, I
started to scan stuff in my house that I'm eating
and both my protein bars that I was eating, and
those wraps showed up as terrible for you. And one
of the big things was some of the additives that
they have in there. And I say, googled what those
additives were. They cause conservation and issues. So great you

(01:25):
help me solve that. I've been doing this for about
a month and a half now, and I'll be honest,
constipation has gone away.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Sounds like I deserve a thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yes. However, this is where the negative side comes into play,
because now I am so damn addicted for this app,
the uk app that when I go to the grocery store,
I was that guy that came right and right out.
You know what I'm saying. I got her busy life.
I got a baby at home that's about to turn one.
I have a wife that works full time. God bless
her for all that she does as a teacher. I
have a routine that I like to go to to
the gym. I have work that keeps me beyond busy.

(01:53):
And now when I go to the grocery store, I'm
not done in five minutes like I used to be.
I used to go right in, not what I want,
and now I'm there for a good hour to grocyel
that Vaughn's rouse any of them, let's taste me an hour.
And I'm that almost tore on the radio that that
guy that a hole that's in line are causing issues
in each of the aisles because I check every single
thing that I buy, be it bread, be it uh

(02:15):
the other day, cottage cheese, cottage cheese that people say
it's Goodfie'll be getting it. You don't realize some of
the cottage cheese actually has a whole lot of attitude. Yeah.
So there's seven different cotton cheeses, and so instead of
grabbing the cheapest one, I would now go through each
and every damn one. So I am gone from a
guy that could go to the grocery store in five
minutes to be able to literally wasting an hour of
my day at the grocery store. Thanks Angie, and the
dem you can have.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I still don't see the negative to this because guys,
what you're gonna scan it and save money and not
have to buy the wrong thing and then we have
to rebuy it. So again, thank you, you're welcome.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Oh, thank you, thank you, Angie, You're welcome. And if
you're like, what the hell is this opp says, say,
it's not an endorsement. We're not getting paid to talk
about it. And there's many of these oups. Mine is
a Yuka. Which one do you use?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Oasis?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Oasis? I think my buddy was telling me it's like
a Bobby Op or something like that. So there's a
bunch of different ones. But they literally break down what
you're eating and it shows you what's good what's bad.
And it can also break it down to let you
know maybe you're having constan patient or maybe you can't
sleep at night, Like it's literally telling you what's in
this that's costing that.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, And it's really really helpful because I feel like
there's so many brands of food and everything out there
that once you scan this you can actually see with
your eyes what percent good it actually is.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
And you also be stuck in the damn grocery store
for over an hour, just like I am
