Anton Cooper: Mountain biker on The Prospector, New Zealand's premiere mountain bike stage race - The All Sport Breakfast

The Prospector is New Zealand’s premier mountain bike stage race, set in the mountain bike mecca of Alexandra, Central Otago.  

The event is a three-day stage race, with Alexandra’s famous technical rocky, thyme encrusted single-track designed to keep the riders on their toes. 

Added to that, lung-busting uphill climbs that push riders to their absolute limits.  

- PROLOGUE - 18km - 600m elevation gain 
- STAGE 1 - 56km - 1950m elevation gain  
- STAGE 2 - 58km - 1800m elevation gain
