Eric Thompson: Motorsport Commentator ahead of this weekend's Supercars race at Bathhurst - The All Sport Breakfast

Kiwi Supercars driver Matt Payne is a step closer to achieving a dream pole position at the Bathurst 1000. 

The 22-year-old's claimed provisional pole after qualifying, pipping Cam Waters by just 0.0060 seconds. 

Motorsport Commentator Eric Thompson joined Adam Cooper to preview the weekend's 'great race'.
