Speaker 1 (00:00):
Collective Soul December nineties and nine Key one hundred with
Dave and Gin. So Mom and I did our local
Christmas shopping over the weekend. Fun yes, we came on
down to Huntington to check out Heritage Station because obviously
they have so many local, really cool gift ideas and

(00:22):
things like that. So yes, so we went to the
Red Kaboos, and funny enough, as soon as we walk in,
Sheila Redling is working. She came out from behind the desk.
She gave me a big old hugs. We just kind
of caught up for a little bit. She's like a
sweet woman. And so we got our shop on at
the Red Kaboos and found, oh my goodness, I found

(00:43):
oh gosh, I can't tell you, well, Christmas surprise, Christmas give, Yes,
but I found the coolest jewelry at the Red Kaboos.
I'll say that. I mean, it's very very cool jewelry. Actually,
I guess I could tell you about it. I just
don't tell you who it's for. Okay, So it has
it has cold us in it's like a shape of
a West Virginia, like the state of West Virginia. The

(01:04):
pendant is and then it's got coldust inside of it.
That's super cool. Just but it was so unique and
really cool, you know. So we shopped there, and then
we went to Full Circle Ceramics, which is also at
Heritage Station, and they always have the greatest quirkiest little gifts,
you know. And I found some stuffer three different people,

(01:24):
seriously and uh. And then we went to Bella Consignment,
which is in Huntington as well as actually like Caddy
Corner from El Hajje in Huntington. Yes, they always have
the most beautiful glass pieces, like whether it's a punch
bowl or glass setwere or or like a decanter or what.

(01:44):
They just have absolutely gorgeous glass pieces. And I found
a the beautiful, beautiful crystal ball or crystal bowl, and
so I took that home and it was home if
you found a crystal ball, crystal ball, and that'd be awesome.
Let's talk to people, come on. But then let's see
where else did we run to? Oh goodness, we had

(02:06):
to come up into Barber's. Belle went to Bella Grace.
I love them. Bella Grace is like Home Decord. But
then they have really cute jewelry, like ear rings and
just cute little nicknacks and stuff. Oh, I tell you what,
we did our fun chopping and I got quite a
bit taken care of, but still got a lot more
to do. And I did tell mom. I was like, okay,
so what we've purchased today, we need to go home,

(02:27):
make a list of what we've purchased, who we purchased
it for, and then know that we've got it ready
to go. And then we also need to make a
list of Okay, who have I not purchased for and
who do I need to follow up on? And she
was like, yeah, I'll get right on that line. I
was like, mother, come on, that's the best way to
do this so that we don't overspend. And she was like, okay, yeah,

(02:49):
I'll do that. Sure. So I went home and did that.
I'd say she did not people. That is it for
a Monday. We made it through. Look at that morning
at least listen, kind of gonna be uh possibly treacherous
weather traveling, So just be careful today, Okay, possibility of

(03:13):
snow all the way through the afternoon exactly. Anyway, I
have a great day. We'll see tomorrow.
