Setting the Alarm on the Weekend 03/05/26

Dave talks about the reason his wife Tracy set her alarm on the weekend, when she didn't have to work.

You Remember when I told you way back when. From
time to time, on the weekend, when I don't have
to be up early, sometimes all set an alarm if
there's an event I really want to play in Heaven
and Monopoly go. And my wife Tracy gives me so

much crap over that.

She's one too.

You better not wake me up on a Saturday.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Are you kidding me? Oh? For that, No, I'd be
so upset. I'd be like, if I hear your alarm
go off because you're gonna play Monopoly, go, I'm gonna
hit you.

She does give me crap over it. I don't blame her,
and so on Saturday. Let me tell you this also, first,
Tracy really likes her sleep. Yeah, and I know we
all do, but especially on the weekends when she knows
she doesn't have to be up. Oh God, she doesn't
want to alarm set. She doesn't want to be woken
up by buster. She want to be you know, she

wants to get some rest right here. Yeah, And I'm
fine with that. I try to stay as quiet as possible.
I let her sleep as long as she wants and
take care of things on the weekends, because it's just
what I do. I've always done that and just let
her sleep. Here's the thing. This past weekend she set
on her alarm or what Yeah, that's what I was

wanting to know. It was like, what on earth could
you want to get up so early on a Saturday for? Well, Jen, No,
she I said, I never want to hear anything about
me getting up early. To blame Monopoly Go every again.
Why she set her alarm so she could get up

and go get her free chicken biscuit from Chick fil A.
It expired at ten point thirty. She didn't want to
miss out on it. I don't know.

Listen. I love as much as the next person.

Listen. But first of all, it's free. It is. Secondly,
it's sustenance. It's food.

So I am I am more for Tracy on this one,
because what do you get from Monopoly Go? Does it
feed you? It does not? Does it pay you?

It does not? I mean it's pure entertainment.

exact exactly. It's free and it's food, and that's the thing. Yeah,
if she doesn't have to pay for something, she's all
about it.

I'm down for it and I'm with her. So that's
how you have to get her into Monopoly Go. Be like, well,
you can get all these cute little tokens without having
to pay.
