Dave talks about a text exchange with his friend Seth about Fantasy Football... complete with a little smack talk and a proposed wager.

Key one hundred with Dave and Jen. First of all,
let me say we love the Rickman family. We have
been best friends with them, like our whole family and
their whole family been best friends for years, right and
unfortunately a few years back they moved to Cincinnati, so
you know, there's some distance between us, but we're.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Still pretty close. Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yeah, and their oldest son, so I'm talking Mike and Leslie,
their oldest son, Seth, married to Tricia, said, texted me yesterday.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Okay, out of the blue, said that his wife.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Tricia saw that he plays me this week in fantasy football,
and she told me.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Thoughts and prayers to Seth. Yeah exactly, because she had
played me a couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Ago when I was number one in our league she
was number two, and I put the smack down. You know,
so she's thinking it's not going to turn out great
for him. Uh huh. Okay, so she wanted to warn him,
okay about me, and I appreciate that, thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
That's that's appreciating it too. I'm sure. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I don't think he appreciated it as much, no, because he.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
No, no no. I then responded, that's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
By the way, as it stands, you have a fifty
one percent chance of beating me.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
So there's that. But I wouldn't hold my breath if
I were you.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Oh's talker, okay. And he says, how confident in beating
me this week?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Are you? And I said one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
With a little smiley face emoji, he says, hear me
out loser this week, clean shaves their beard. He's the
commissioner of our league. Okay, so he said commissioner versus
the current league leader, mister, and then calls me mister confident,
and I gave him the wide eye.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, if you're that confident day, But do it, Dave,
what's wrong pal? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
I said, well what's Tracy told me I'm not allowed
to make that bet anymore?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Happy wife, happy life. Well that was a way to
blame it on someone else, but it's true, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
And then he says, Tricia would kill me also, and
my kids wouldn't recognize me.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
And I said, see, Seth, what if I would have
taken you up on that bet? And he said, well,
you would have lost. And I'm like.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Why are you trying to get me to a bet
that you're not even on board with.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I mean, he was clearly on board with it enough,
I agree to you. Yeah. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
So then he says, I'm going to tune in next
Tuesday when I hear you on the radio talking about
your loss to me. I said, yeah, that's never gonna happen,
but go ahead and tune in.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh my word, I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I hope to win. Now. You're nervous. Now your question,
and I'm not even putting a bet on the line.
I am not shaving up here. Tracy would absolutely kill me.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
You're hilarious, by the way. I do love when you're
like so I put the SmackDown on her.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
It's, you know, a bunch of little men that we
you know, added to our fantasy team that, by the way,
they had hurt every two seconds.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
There's literally no rhyme or reason to accurate.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
We have no control, was absolutely no control.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I think you should make the bet. I think you
should just come on, man and get a divorce.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Now, get a divorce.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
She ain't going to divorce you over that. Come on,
you haven't seen me without a beer chance? All right,
Battle on the way at seven forty and our champ.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Lily Barbersville picked up win number six yesterday.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
You buddy.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
So if there's a man in the dry stay that
thinks he can take on Jerry, I.

Think we need a fellow to step up.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
