Speaker 1 (00:00):
Key one hundred with Dave and Jin our teacher of
the Month February twenty twenty six, took us to Russell
Middle School.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah, buddy, and we awarded mister Josh will.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Well done, sir, well done.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yes, he was actually nominated by one of his students.
And the funniest thing when we get there, we actually
well they you know, opened the door to his classroom
to let us in and he's singing, right, Hey, I
guess they.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Were doing their work's music, A little music on.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I love that And I just heard a man's voice
start singing.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
I was like, oh, well, what are we doing here?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Surprise, Yeah, coming in to award you.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
And the principal, mister Frazer, actually walked us in and
just said, hey, got a couple of guests here to
see you. And as soon as you said hey, guys,
we're Dave and Jin, I mean, so many.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Kids, especially a couple girls in the back door.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Hold on, oh my gosh, hold on wait, I know them.
You guys are who we listen to.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
We are.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
It was so much fun and it was so funny too.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
As soon as we go in, you know, there are
several several people in the office, like, you know, waiting
for us.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
They knew.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
They were like, okay, so.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
We're gonna go surprise him, and and so we had
a photographer go with us, and then we had the counselor,
Julie Goodman, walked ahead of us to kind of go
get his class prepared, and the assistant principal, Nicole Shivel,
was with us as well. And it was so funny
as we're walking with the principal, mister Fraser, the assistant principle,
Miss Shivel, and the camera person, We're walking down the

(01:29):
hallway with them and talking to them. Well, miss Goodman,
the counselor is up above walking a little faster going
to the classroom, and.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
She's like down the hall yes, a good ways, yes, ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Of us, And mister Fraser was like, you know, we're
right behind you. Just let you know. And she she
lifted up.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Her hand and gave a thumbs up. Right, she has
a very long thumb.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I didn't know it either.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I was like, did she just flip their flipped the
marge school.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
That's what we both thought, like pretty exciting school. Hey.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
They were laughing and looking back and you're like, did
you think she flipped us.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
On right, Yeah, I'm not going to claim to have
the best eyesight. Okay. That was hilarious.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
And then when we gave mister Wills the award, he
came up in front of the class and he said, really,
I just have one question. And we're thinking, you know,
maybe he's going to ask who nominated what they had
to say?

Speaker 3 (02:36):
He said, what took you guys so long? That the
whole class erupted. It was awesome.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Seriously, as soon as he said, I was not expecting.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
That to come. And so mister Fraser even said, he's like,
that's that's who he is. That that's his personality, that's why.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
And I love it.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I love that he gets the kids involved and clearly
he has a fun personality to you know, keep them learning.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I love that he is is interactive and you can
kind of mess with them.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
You know, that's a good repertoire.
