White Chocolate Chunk Cookies 12/01/25

Dave talks about finding an old family favorite... but somebody isn't happy about it.

Tracy and I were out doing a little last minute
Thanksgiving meal grocery shopping.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Okay, I found white chocolate chunk Chips a Hoy chocolate
chip cookies. My family loves these cookies really, and they
have been gone for quite some time.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I don't know if they discon I don't know if
Chips a Hoy discontinued them, but literally we've not been
able to find them at any grocery store for years.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Really, I've never even had them.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
And then I found them and I said, Trace, look
they're in a brown bag and you can see the
little white chocolate chunks on the chocolate chip cookies and
they look so delicious. And I'm so excited that and
it's just her and and I'm like, check it out
and look at I found. She's like, I'm put those back.
We do not need those. I was like, Trace, we've

not had these in years. I found them. We're taking
them home with us. Yes, she was not happy Camper stopping.
He was not happy at all. I think it ruined
her mood for the rest of the night, if I'm
not mistaken. Come kind of blocked up from my memory
at this point, but we did take the chocolate chip
cookie Home cookies home, and when Tyler saw them, he

flipped out. He's like, oh my goodness, we've been needing these.
We've not had him in years. And I said, I know,
and I found him and your mom got mad at
me for buying them, but I brought them home anyway.
Then Sarah sees the same reaction, excited, then Jackson, same thing.
Everybody in our house is so excited. I was like, no,
don't you feel bad, honey.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Oh, I wouldn't said that.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Everybody's exciting for these cookies except for.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
You, love.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
And we don't poke the bear day.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
We just put a cookie in her mouth and we're like,
I promise it's worthy.
